Bar & grill
Bar
The Pony is a popular neighborhood bar in Over-The-Rhine that offers hearty comfort food alongside cocktails, beer and wine. They're known for their extensive menu of craft beers, and they offer Fried Fish Dinners every Friday through Lent. The space is large and comfortable, perfect for watching any sports games. Touch tunes are always a great choice at bars like The Pony!
Loved this place! The habanero garlic wings were SO GOOD. They reminded me of a spicy teriyaki a bit if you're into that (I am). The ranch was really tasty too! I'm OBSESSED with the fries. I kept dipping the fries in the wing sauce & ranch (trust me do it!) the beef on weck was good, but will definitely get more wings next time. I feel like the beef on weck would be good with a creamy horseradish sauce vs the plain horseradish (personal opinion, it was still good). Drinks were great. LOVED the atmosphere & location!
Kelsey M — Google review
Some of the best chicken and fries in the city, hands down. Their chicken is freshly fried, their fries are fresh cut, and the sauces are made in house. If I were to give two suggestions to the place, it would be to identify a better ventilation solution as you are guaranteed to leave smelling like grease. Secondly, ordering food at the bar can be cumbersome, it would be a lot easier to order from a QR code at the table for food.
Michael S — Google review
A nice local restaurant/bar with a great selection of beers—feels like the perfect after-work pub. I had a cheesesteak sandwich, and it was fabulous, along with some cheese fingers that were also great. The spicy ketchup was a nice touch. On the downside, the service was cold and unwelcoming. Also, food took a long time to get our table. I only tipped because they helped me charge my phone; otherwise, I wouldn’t. Another drawback is the lack of free parking. Still, it’s a good spot to hang out with friends.
Heber M — Google review
The chicken strips weren’t pretty good! Great fries! The Philly cheesesteak was ok but needed some more spice or something.
Tabitha T — Google review
We are from out of town. We came here for a baseball game years ago and LOVED everything. Came back to see the Bengals and Detroit play and can only say that the food and staff have gone down hill. Wings? Much smaller. Please, please, get the bigger ones back and just hike the price. The hottest sauce they have in the menu tasted like tomato soup expired with Tabasco added. I think it fermented too much? It was bubbling if you shook it. Bar staff? Taking shots and beers with people I’m sure they know and rude as hell. Don’t mind that in a dive bar setting like this but they could not be bothered with any one else in the building. I was excited to come back here and was pissed off. Very disappointed and will be hoping Cincinnati gives us a new wing place to check out when we come back.
Hannah L — Google review
The chicken tenders just melted in my mouth & the fries are to die for! My husband got the beef on a wek & he absolutely loved every bite. The service was fast, the food was hot & excellent! Can’t wait to go back.
Robin L — Google review
We heard the food was good, so we decided to check out the Pony. First time going, and wow it was a good time. Relaxed vibe, great (but small) menu, and awesome food, although, the beer selection was lacking. It was nice there were booths as well, on top of the bar itself - I liked that we were able to sit down and eat and chat at a table vs a bar. Benches were kinda dirty though lol, but nothing terrible I got the honey mustard wings they have - and wow, absolute bangers, seasoned perfectly & piping hot. The burger with a slice of bacon was stupid delicious. A little overcooked on the meat but it wasn't even noticeable enough to care about. Cause that bacon kicks you in the mouth on your first bite. Simply put their burger is severely underrated. the fries were unbelievable - flat out some of the best (and thickest) I've had in a while. Flaky, crispy, crunchy & covered with sea salt, their fries are a must. All in all, cool spot to grab a bite and have a beer and if you're bar hopping, one worth stopping in!

Adorable spot to grab a bite to eat. Stellar fries and even better ranch sauce that had bits of dill in it. ❤️

Oak Tavern is a laid-back sports bar with a relaxed atmosphere and outdoor patio seating. It's the perfect spot to catch your favorite games on multiple TVs while enjoying pub fare and live music. On Saturdays, it transforms into a hub for Ohio State fans, offering buckets of beer and a nostalgic college vibe. The menu features craft beers on tap and mouthwatering jumbo wings available in various flavors, from teriyaki garlic to the popular BuffalOAK sauce.
Another neighborhood spot that has a great vibe. Patio seating was plentiful and our waitress was helping us right away. Food wise, smoked wings crispy skin, sauce caddy with 6 sauces. Soooooo good. Can't go 5 stars across the board as my wife's salad was average. Good but can't go 5 stars. Wings though...highly recommend.
Michael H — Google review
Definitely a local spot. Have to say the service was great. The wings were very good. We got grilled and we're not seasoned. They let you choose your own seasoning from a selection of many sauces. They also don't charge you for the sauces. The celery that we ordered with it was weak. We also tried the sampler appetizer and I don't suggest it. The pretzel bites were way over done. The rest was fair. Stick to the wings.
JD S — Google review
The food was great - top tier bar food! Staff is friendly and very attentive. However, it was EXTREMELY loud. It was Sunday afternoon, not football season, and I had to shout to the person next to me.
Sara P — Google review
Great grilled wings. Seasoned very lightly but still good on their own! Makes sense since they don't sauce them. Instead they provide a caddie of six sauces for you to have a go at. Some of the craft beers were like $10 for a can which is more than most appetizers. Service was okay. They took my order, served it and then pretty much disappeared until I was done. Not necessarily bad but just okay. The atmosphere is what you'd expect of a bar. Nothing crazy, pretty standard. All in all, I'm definitely coming back!
Chris V — Google review
I popped in for lunch on the patio. The tavern provided a relaxed atmosphere and great service from Molly⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The prices are reasonable and it is a great location. Street parking and local lot is available for parking.
Veronica A — Google review
I have to agree with recent reviews. The wings are delicious and I love that there is a grilled option and unlimited sauces. But the extra celery that I ordered tonight was less than a single serving and looked like curly cues from the end of the stalk (c’mon, that’s the cheapest part of the dish). Beyond that, the service was subpar. I waited longer to get my tab than I did for my carryout to be cooked. And, although it was not my goal, the man next to me at the bar commented that “you couldn’t get drunk here if you wanted to.” In other words, the service was sorely lacking. I can’t remember the last time I only tipped 20%.
Kim C — Google review
First time at The Oak! You walk in and seat yourself and the servers greet you fairly quickly. All of the seating is high barstools. I got a 10 piece wing and fries. The wings were some of the most flavorful wings I've ever had! They also had six sauce options to try as well. I paid less than $25 for everything and I'll be back!
Terence W — Google review
Oak Tavern is a great spot to hang out. The staff is fantastic and the food is phenomenal. If you like smoked wings, you're in for a treat. All the sauce is served on the side in squeeze bottles so you can dip or drench whatever flavors you want. Also, I highly recommend the sampler appetizer it's a fried food paradise.

Knockback Nats is a popular dive bar in downtown Cincinnati, especially busy on game days. It's an easygoing spot with a long bar, typical pub food, and shuffleboard, plus a small patio. The smoked wings are highly recommended for their delicious and flavorful taste. The bartenders provide excellent and friendly service, making everyone feel at home in this locals' watering hole. Visitors can enjoy local craft beers and regional bourbons while playing shuffleboard or indulging in the free popcorn.
We did not order any food, but it all looked amazing coming out of the kitchen. My wife had the popcorn and she said it was delicious. We love the atmosphere. Everyone really seemed to be having a great time. Also seemed like a mix of regulars and newbies like us. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

Our waiter was Hilarious 😂 . The smoked wings were amazing and very flavorful. I ate mine without sauce and let me tell you…. Scrumptious. The drinks were good too!

Listen I am from Memphis stopped by while at the Cincinnati Music Festival.. wonderful staff Barry & Brook were the BEST! GREAT ATMOSPHERE MADE ME FEEL LIKE FAMILY. Brooks Lemon drop shot and Barry's gummiebear shot Chef kiss. Thank you for giving me a new experience
Shaunne B — Google review
I have read on Chowdown that the wings here were great. So we made it a point to go after a show. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. We were able to score a table outside. I ordered from the bar and he brought our wings out to us. OMG, they were fantastic! They had the perfect smoke and a tasty rub that has just the right amount of heat. The BBQ sauce and ranch were good as well. Will recommend to everyone. We will be back again to try the quesadilla!
Amy D — Google review
The wings are AMAZING! The staff was delightful. We were there right before the kitchen closed, had a few drinks, and took the wings back to our hotel.
Sabrina S — Google review
What a place....... Staff, food, atmosphere all amazing. This place is truly a great spot. Better than any place I have visited over the world. The wings and popcorn are to die for.
John R — Google review
Stopped Saturday afternoon place was packed, always a good thing you know the food/drinks are going to be good. Well, both were amazing including bar tenders & staff! It was barely standing room only, me being me I saw 4 guys sitting at a table with couple xtra seats asked if they minded if my friend & I sat down, they didn’t & asked if we had been here before told them no, they suggested wings saying they were really good, we ordered 12 to share they were best wings I’ve ever eaten crispy yet fall of bone tender & moist!! Oh and the popcorn again best ever! Thanks for the experience & the bartender was so nice when I asked if the walk to Taft Theatre was doable & if she would consider it safe to walk she said yes to both that it was well lit on the way to Taft and of course just to be aware of our surroundings which is always sound advice doesn’t matter where you are. Highly recommend Knockback Nats 💯
Rhonda F — Google review
Update: Quesadillas are delicious. For wings, get the sauce on the side. Popcorn is free. They have more N-A beers now. ----- Initial Review ----- Voted best wings in Cincinnati for good reason. Perfectly smoked for hours and great sauces. Rest of menu is sold. Drinks are pretty cheap. There are several TVs, a TouchTunes and a golf game. The bar is very long plus they have tables for groups and a smaller separate room.

I greatly enjoyed my meal here. The patio was very fun, the drinks were great, and every dish we had was very good (the lobster roll I ordered was really excellent). Definitely a spot I will be back to!

Fun neighborhood pub. Indoor/ outdoor dining. They have their own parking lot. Fast, friendly service. Menu had salads, tacos, soups, sandwiches. My fish tacos had a generous slice of fish and you got three of them. They were yummy. My friend got a lamb gyro. She enjoyed it with a cabbage salad
Bowmanlaurapiper — Google review
I got the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwhich and a side of slaw. The meat was seasoned well and the slaw was asian style. This is definitely a great pub in a good side of town. I'll definitely come back to sit on the patio!
Shayla R — Google review
The Oak Pub and Grill is a fantastic find in Cincinnati, offering a cozy atmosphere and truly memorable food. What immediately elevated our visit was the genuinely great service we received from Mike, the bartender. His attentiveness and welcoming attitude made the entire Sunday afternoon seamless and enjoyable. We started with the Anderson nachos, which were a standout—they delivered a perfect and very satisfying kick, making them a must-try for anyone who appreciates a little spice. For drinks, the Country Boy Shotgun Wedding Brown Ale proved to be an excellent, smooth choice from their tap list. The main course, the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich, was incredibly satisfying; the pork was flavorful and tender, hitting all the right notes. Alongside it, the cabbage salad was quite unique, offering a fresh, unexpected crunch and flavor that paired perfectly with the richer sandwich. The Oak Pub and Grill excels in both flavor and service. Highly recommended!
Michael D — Google review
A friendly atmosphere in a pub/restaurant environment. All the staff from the kitchen to the service staff were smiling and attentive. Food was very good and was told they were glad we had come as we were leaving!

This is the Second time visiting and the food is delicious. It's the kind of food where you think about it all work week. The Burger is great and this second time we tried the Blue burger and omg it was delicious. Their wings witheither of the dry rubs are outstanding. Try the blue cheese dressingwith them as it is super thick and chunky deliciousness "note I don't even normally get blue cheese". Above all else ...you have to try the Spicy cheese curds. The slaw is unique and tasty. The onion rings are good tasting and crisp. Every dish is worth the price for such an exceptional taste bud adventure. July 16 2024 again everything excellent. Burger perfectly medium... Wings perfection...

Nestled in the heart of Mount Lookout, Mt. Lookout Tavern is a vibrant bar that has been a beloved fixture in Cincinnati for over 40 years. You can enjoy unique flavors like Xavier Tangy and Bearcat alongside traditional options.
Wow how I love this place. Come twice and the bartenders know your name, what you drink and how you like your tab. Not to mention they entertain your drunk bs. This is a seriously good bar and if you’re passing through town I’ll buy you a beer just to prove it. Thanks MLTs! #DAKARAI

Typical sports bar. Decent beer selection. Burger was ok. Service was great. Reasonable choice for grabbing drinks when watching a game.
Paul J — Google review
It was more of a bar than a restaurant, but the food was really good. Service was quick and friendly. They do not have a dedicated parking lot, so depending on the time, parking can be a bit tricky.
Tamara G — Google review
Such an amazing place to be and our first time coming here. Our waitress Paige was amazing and super friendly. A beautiful place that is family friendly and such a vibe.
Travelbug1928 — Google review
Service was great. Bartender was great and very friendly. Went there for lunch. Food was way overpriced for what we got. Nachos looked nothing like pics we saw, sliders in the pics showed 3 and we got 2. Onion rings weren’t great. Philly cheesesteak came with a clearly old/stale bun and half the meat it should have. Paid $15 for that too and fries were an additional $4. So a $19 lunch that was barely even worth $10. Won’t go back.
Jennifer M — Google review
Wings can be great but were terrible last three times, I have to give up on them unfortunately. Burgers are solid. Don’t get blue moon if you want the orange. Good atmosphere for games. Expensive drinks
Richard S — Google review
The best wings I’ve ever had — I’ve been there multiple times and always had a great experience. The celery and sauces are excellent; I recommend the Parmesan Garlic. Note for Italians: It’s rare to find Peroni beer among the available options in the U.S. (even more so in Cincinnati), and it really made us feel at home

I just revisited MLT… haven't been in decades. Much more open and airy inside than I recall. Its a nice local bar.. the food's okay, the beer is cold, there's a deck and it's right off Mount Lookout Square. Check it out!

Had a few mixed cocktails from their menu, the pickle martini and the yachtsman. Both were very good. Had the frickles as an app, also very good. Kitchy ambiance, good drinks, and good service. Can't go wrong here.

The cheeseburger was very good. The fries were super salty but after rubbing some of the salt off they were good. Staff were very friendly and you could tell it was a neighborhood gathering spot where regulars patronize. Great place to visit.

The poutine is the bees knees! Loved checking out this fun spot. Definitely gives off dive bar vibes with tasty food and super welcoming staff. We went on a Wednesday for lunch so it was really chill the service was great and the poutine did not disappoint. The women’s bathroom stalls are a little small but clean. Don’t forget to hit that “top secret” button for little ambiance.

Chicken wings restaurant
Wild Mike's Delhi is a popular sports-bar chain in the Cincinnati area that serves up great wings and other American fare. The wings are particularly popular, but the menu offers much more to enjoy. It can be difficult to get tables, especially during busy times, but the staff is always willing to help. The food is delicious and reasonably priced.
Great place. Would eat here when I was in college back in the day 1994. Ate here again for homecoming weekend with one of my best friend/brother and former teammate. 10/21/23. Still great!! Keep it going!
J J — Google review
First time visiting. Was headed to the chain restaurant next door and saw a local restaurant and turned in. There were plenty of seats available when I walked in for lunch. I was quickly greeted by the waitress and ordered my drink, and when she returned with it, I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger with curly fries and slaw. When the food arrived, I asked for a ranch to dip my fries, and she quickly returned with it. The fries were fresh and hot and seasoned correctly. It was a good-sized serving of the fries. The burger and bun were hot and fresh, and even better, the mushrooms looked fresh and freshly sautéed, instead of coming out of a large tub. They were great along with the Swiss, which was melting perfectly. I loved everything about the meal, except the slaw. I am a fan of sweet and creamy coleslaw. This serving was good-sized and looked fresh. But the taste was peculiar and off-putting. It put a bit of a sour note on what otherwise was a great meal! I will return again when in the area, which is often. I just won't have the slaw. Recommended for sure!

Burnt, sloppy, and not enough sauce. Awful. No rating for atmosphere because the order was carry out.

Quality has gone down hill. Wings are not the same as they were. Photos are of my last carry out. So wet they weren't editable. I used to love this place. Prices jumped off the chart.

We arrived near the end of their day. They treated us with Awesome service, food, and care. In the top places for wings and burgers. Great staff and clearly well run.
Greg H — Google review
While in town I was excited to eat here as I haven’t had wild mikes in years, unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. The food is mediocre and overpriced. Our service was extremely slow, and our server had absolutely no urgency. We waited forever just to get our drinks, food took 30 minutes and we had to ask other servers for refills. This place isn’t at all how I remember it, it has went way down hill.
Samantha — Google review
We stopped by for a bite. My wife likes the broccoli cheese soup. I had the wings and we split an order of pickles. We were sat immediately but was about 20 minutes before the server came over to us. We had to flag here down. She was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. It seems like a challenging night as they appears to be under staffed. I am sure it is not like this all the time. The wings were great. We will return.

THE best wings around. Try the “Mikes Mix”. It’s a one of a kind mix of all of their sauces. It’s so unique and delicious.

Midway Cafe is a delightful spot that has truly exceeded expectations on my recent visit. After a few years away, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The atmosphere is inviting, making it an ideal place to unwind with friends or family. My wife enjoyed her Caesar salad while I savored the Black and Bluebird burger paired with perfectly seasoned fries—both were exceptional!
We haven't been there in a few years because of parking and excuses. Decided to go there after a previous choice restaurant was closed. So very glad we did, wow way better than I remembered. The food was very good and the service was awesome and the adult beverage choice was outstanding. My wife had the Caesar salad which she quite enjoyed and I had the Black and Bluebird burger and seasoned fries that were top notch. Beer ice cold and bourbon selection was off the hook. Prepared just the way I wanted and very much enjoyed everything. We will be back sooner rather then later.

Pretty typical neighborhood bar grill, with a slightly better drink menu than average. Burger was pretty darn tasty, just a basic BBQ cheeseburger, nothing super crazy. Cheese curds were also a great appetizer.
Dan S — Google review
It's a great place to get some food. The cheese curds are super tasty The grilled cheese is tasty and unique "I can see why it won a award" The Ketchup seemed it was homemade and we loved it. The sauces and rubs are nice too. They complement the wings crispness. The smoked wings have a real deep smoke flavor so choose your sauce or rub accordingly BBQ CAJUN etc... Not a bad place for beer selection either from what I saw posted available.

This was our first time here and I feel like we didn’t catch them at their best. My wife ordered their fish and chips dinner, I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich and fries, and a family member ordered the Southe Chixken sandwich, all with fries. The ribeye sandwich was delicious - perfect bun, toasted nicely, ribeye cooked and seasoned properly, and caramelized onions adding a nice sweet touch. It came with a horseradish sauce on the side but I think this sandwich screams for a nice au ju. Excellent sandwich none the less and the fries were perfect too. My wife and I eat a lot of fish and her plate left a lot to be desired. Fish was cooked and seasoned properly, but it was just too thin and the breading to protein ratio was way off for our taste - a disappointment to say the least. Our family member’s chicken sandwich was sent back because it was just too tough to chew. The manager handled it very well and delivered a chicken wrap much to his delight. We also ordered 10 wings naked with a couple of sauces. We thought the wings were good but lacked a little smoke flavor that we’ve grown accustomed to with smoked wings. Definitely worth eating though. We’ll probably be back for another taste because like I said, I don’t think we see Midway’s best today and we believe in second chances.

I’ve never written a Google review before, good or bad, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience. As a fellow small business owner—working in general contracting and furniture making—I understand the challenges of meeting customer expectations while following guidelines and regulations. On Monday, March 17th, my good friend and I decided to take the day off to relax and celebrate our recent successes. I’m usually hesitant to take a day off, but this felt like a much-needed break, so we visited Midway that morning. When we arrived, we were greeted by a woman behind the bar, who told us we could sit anywhere. I asked if we could sit at the bar since there was only one other person there, and I wanted to be sure they weren’t closed. She asked if we were both 21, which was fine—my friend and I don’t have facial hair and probably look younger than we are. I’m used to being carded and always have my ID ready. However, she then told us she couldn’t serve us because our IDs were vertical, which, to my knowledge, is not a valid reason. As long as the ID is valid and shows we are of age, it is more than enough to buy alcohol in the state of Kentucky. Any bartender should know this to avoid causing disruptions. I wasn’t too upset at this point, but I did find it odd. She then questioned why I had an intermediate licenses instead of a full driver’s license. This felt very invasive and unnecessary. I would have understood if she had asked for more information to verify the ID, but questioning why I didn’t have a full license was completely out of line. She even made a comment like, “You’re 22 and just starting to drive?” Again, I brushed it off, but it was uncomfortable. We eventually sat at the bar, got our drinks, and I tried to engage in some light conversation, as I usually do with bartenders. However, we were completely brushed off. That’s perfectly fine—bartenders aren’t obligated to chat—but what really bothered me was when my friend and I decided to cheers "to a day off" and she turned around to ask where we worked, and I said, "Oh for me." As I was about to continue to explain what we do she scoffed, and turned back around. This was extremely rude and disrespectful. There’s no reason for a paying customer to be treated that way. We were even thinking about staying for a few beers and possibly ordering food but were made very uncomfortable and decided to go to the pub down the street, who always has great service and a very welcoming staff. I’ve thought about this for a day, and I feel it’s important to share my experience. I hope this feedback reaches the right people. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out via email.

Food is great but since when did it become so expensive to eat here? A couple burgers and some fries and drinks for my daughter and I came out to almost 45 bucks???? 55 with a tip. I just can't go here anymore, just can't justify the expense.

Taft's Ale House is a classic brewpub located in a beautifully renovated 19th-century church in Cincinnati. The menu offers gastropub favorites such as smoked wings, soft pretzels with beer cheese, burgers, and fish and chips. One of the standout dishes is the tri-tip steak served in various ways.
Sadly I write this review just a week shy of their permanent closure. My wife and I have been wanting to give Taft’s a try for a while now after seeing pictures of the inside! And I gotta say, it’s a real shame they’re closing! Taft’s Alehouse is located in an old, restored church and it’s absolutely beautiful! Everything from the stairs when you walk into to the giant windows that line the walls! The place is so unique and has so much character! I really hope another restaurant goes in after it. As far as the food goes, everything tasted good but I thought it was on the pricey side for sandwiches and what not but wasn’t out of reason. So, if you’re reading this before November 25th, go! Whether you’ve been before or it would be the first time, seeing the building itself is worth dining in one more time! If not, I’m sorry.

Super excellent venue- fully renovated 1850 St Paul's Church. Venue and location is definitely the biggest attraction, and the beer is also quite good. We visited on a Thursday evening, enjoyed 3 beers, apps, and dinner. The beer was all 4/5, the loaded tots and pretzel apps were good, and the food was also good. We had the Double Smash burger, steak sandwich, and Tritip salad. Each were 4/5. The service was good. We would definitely return again and again, and it would be a favorite if we lived in the area.
Joshua C — Google review
We stopped by for the first time on several recommendations online. It was also near our venue. We were greeted promptly but then sat for quite some time until greeted again. It was a late lunch, and they didn't seem too busy. Being our first time, I expected a quick run down of the menu and brief description. The restaurant is in an old church. It's absolutely gorgeous. A grand hall with long, wood, cafeteria type tables. I had a wrap while my husband had a burger. I was certainly expecting more from the price. When asked how everything was, I told her just that. She said a younger crowd typically enjoys it, being a brewery. Maybe it does cater to a different crowd. I'd still think in such a lovely place they would want to compete with the wonderful food nearby.

We visited the Taproom on Friday night and were extremely impressed with the stellar hospitality service provided by a solo bartender covering the outdoor seating area, bar, and tabletops inside the Taproom. Great conversation, jokes, food recommendations, and personality. Our group enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Wings and the Tri-Tip Steak Wrap, which were delicious! We also enjoyed Garden Salads with the Honey Basil Vinaigrette, this dressing is bursting with flavor and worth a try! I can't remember the last time I had French Fries that tasted so good, a crunchy exterior fried to perfection without residue grease. Our group was not impressed with the Tri-Tip Platter steak, which was difficult to cut, tear, and chew despite being medium rare. Regardless, I would definitely recommend and return for the amazing service, drinks, and atmosphere!

Pretty good place to grab a few beers with friends, with an excellent atmosphere. The place itself is decorated in a really cool way, with an open first floor and a second floor that goes around the perimeter, so you can see the floor below. Staff are nice and fast enough, and their beer selection is quite good. I’ve been coming here after work for the past few years and I really do enjoy it. You should try the place!

Old church they turned into a cool place to grab some food and brew. Super waitress and food was spot on! Fish and chips was very good. Fish was very flaky, but 3/4 of the bowl was fries. The Tri tip salad was awesome! Done to perfection with honey balsamic dressing. Definitely recommend!!!

Absolutely wonderful aesthetics! This place used to be a church so the beer hall is huge and very grand. The food is also good but the real highlights are the drinks. The beers are great! The tart ale and the cold boy were our favourites.

Located in Covington, Smoke Justis is a multilevel sports bar that offers a wide range of experiences. Known for its smoked meats, craft beers, and extensive whiskey selection, it's the perfect spot to catch a game while indulging in decadent barbecue. The menu features popular items like the Catfish Dinner and during Lent, they offer specials like Smoked Tuna Dip and Smoked Crab Cakes on Fridays.
We had a nice time at Smoke Justis. We found a spot on one of the couches in the back by the bar. We went up to the bar to get drinks. It wasn’t crazy busy and still took a long long time to get our order in. My wife had a cosmo which she didn’t really care for. My old fashioned was really good right on point. We split the nachos, we got the full with smoked pork. They were very good. Loaded with toppings, we planned on it being an appetizer for dinner somewhere else later that evening but were so full we never got dinner. What made this a 5 star experience was I came in initially to see if they had koozies for sale because we get one every place we travel to and they don’t sell them but a worker went to the back and found a couple for us to have which was awesome as we had popped in 10-15 places before this one before we were gonna walk back over to Cincinnati. Really appreciated that. Would definitely check them out again and get the nachos!

This place looks amazing on the inside. One of the coolest looking bars that I have seen in the greater Cincinnati area. They have an excellent bourbon selection, and the bar tender was able to make me a delicious mint julip. The place used to be a phone operator switch board called the Citizens Telephone Building. It has amazing architecture on the inside, you just don’t see buildings like this anymore. Staff were friendly, and the bar tender was great. I would definitely come back again.

Ordered their $13 cobb salad with extra ranch to go. I recieved a side salad with 1 half full ramekin of ranch. There isn't enough ranch to cover the salad with the turkey in it so I had to remove it to be able to eat the dry lettuce..... 1st and last time eating here.

I have a wheat and soy allergy, and sometimes there are limited things I can eat. The manager here was so lovely and thorough in finding me something I could have, which was their wings and they were DELICIOUS! Definitely the best seasoned wings I have had, I ate them without a sauce they were so good! I reccommend the wings, and I really reccommend the service it was absolutley wonderful. My wife got the beef ribs and said they were delicious!

Smoke Justis has an amazing atmosphere and Great service, waiter was very friendly, we had the smoked wings appetizer and they did not disappoint. My meal was the smoked meat plate, the brisket was amazing, and the ribs were just ok, a little dry if I had to say anything negative, but not a deal breaker. Our party also had the brisket Mac n cheese and thought is was delicious, although the last plate was the smoked chicken bacon ranch wrap that was middle of the line. Overall we really liked Smoked Justis and will be back.

Kitty's Sports Grill is a popular spot known for its American grub, beers, and lively atmosphere with multiple TVs. Situated across from Paul Brown Stadium, it's a go-to destination for Bengals fans to enjoy pregame festivities. The restaurant offers high-quality chicken wings and a diverse menu featuring items like the Kitty Cuban Burger. The spacious venue includes ample dining room seating and a full bar area. Guests can savor smoked wings and barbecue while soaking up the vibrant game-day ambiance.
Best wings ever! Legit. Smoked for several hours, then fried. Wings are large and great quality. Fries are hand cut style and always fresh and hot. Staff is always friendly and service fast. Great for lunch/dinner, and our favorite spot to hang out before the Bengals’ games! We always feel safe and welcomed. I’ve even seen people come in with competing jerseys on and everyone is still welcomed! Place has got it all.

Wow! The wood smoked wings and home cut fries here are phenomenal. The staff made my daughter and I feel so welcome too. We dropped in right after a Reds game had finished up and the place was hopping. We are from out of town (South Carolina) and we weren't sure where to eat. We were checking Yelp and Google reviews close to the Hyatt Regency and walked 2 blocks to check it out. As we approached, I saw the smokers outside and was encouraged that this place just might be the real deal. We asked several groups of folks coming out whether it was a thumbs up or thumbs down -- and they were all singing the praises of the wings. We smoke our own meats at home with a neighbor, and we have plenty of amazing wings and BBQ living in the Carolinas. And this place exceeded all expectations. It is now starred as a favorite and I'm sharing it with my friends. If you're in the downtown Cincinnati area and need a family friendly place, it 100% gets our vote. My daughter said it's the best food we've had this whole vacation, and I have to agree.

This place is super cool, and I always spend at least one night during the first weekend of the NCAA tournament here. The food (esp the wings) is pricey in a "you get what you pay for" kind of way--the portions are good (the wings are BIG) and everything is totally delicious and on point (try the Cajun Ranch sauce with the wings.)

O’Bryon’s is one of my favorite wing places in Cincinnati! The wings are perfectly crisped and cooked to perfection. The wings at O’Bryon’s are also full of flavor and they aren’t dry, which is so nice. I adore their variety of sauces; the Hot, the Hot BBQ, and the Habanero Ranch being my favorites. The Habanero Ranch is also house-made, which is awesome. I usually get Cajun fries from here and it’s delicious. My grandpa gets chicken wraps from here and they’re pretty darn good, too. They could benefit from more appetizers to choose from, but other than that, it’s a great place to be.

If I could give them a 10 I would. The best spicy garlic wings hands down. Not to hot just right. This is my new spicy garlic wings home. The service was great too. Every time I go the wings get better and better.

Visiting Cincinnati, Ohio, from out of town on a work trip, I had a taste for wings, and O’Bryon’s Bar & Grill came up through Google Maps. The place had great reviews, so I thought I would try them. Boy, were those Google reviews wrong? First, I came into the restaurant no one acknowledged me waiting at the front door for a good 5-10 mins. The waiter was okay but seemed overwhelmed with having so many tables. She only checked on my once so I was able to order anything else. However, the wings were delicious, but $22 for just wings and one drink not worth the effort of driving there again for lousy service. I don’t recommend this place.

Cozy little dive bar with delicious food options. I ordered the cheese sticks which were good but I felt the wonton could use some seasoning it was pretty flavorless. The wings were very tasty but could have been spicier. I ordered spicy garlic and hot wings and they both were pretty mild in my opinion. Overall I had a great visit, the bartender Brooke was very nice and attentive and a lot of fun to be around. Thank you for a good experience!

Quaint little place that I think we’d frequent if we lived in the area. Atmosphere was cozy, service was excellent, food was pretty decent. My wife had the blackened chicken quesadilla with fries and sriracha mayonnaise and I had the fish and chips. We both had unsweetened iced tea. The quesadilla was delicious, as were the fries, as was the sriracha mayonnaise. The fried cod was seasoned and cooked well and there was plentiful of it but I prefer a thicker cut so there’s less batter and less grease. The tartar sauce was good as well. The tea tasted commercial, not freshly brewed, but was ok. Overall not a bad first impression.

SO good! Passing through town and stopped in for Mother's Day because of the dog friendly patio. They have a nice pergola with tin roofing over several tables, which offers a nice breeze and shade. The waitress brought our pup out a bowl of ice water (we didn't even have to ask!) when they brought our drinks out. There was a bit of a wait, but they told us when we sat down that they were running a little bit slow. We ordered the pretzels appetizer, and they were good, served with warm white queso. Then for entrees we had the fish n chips and appetizer sampler with sweet Thai wings, cheese sticks, and potato skins. Everything was flaming hot, fresh, and delicious! We would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

I hadn't had wings here in awhile, but they'd been my favorite in the city. I ate two of them when I got home (I live close by, they were still hot) and threw out the rest. Tasteless on the inside and the outside. I won't be getting wings there again or recommending it. The ones at Fresh Market actually taste way better.

It's a bar, so don't expect any "great" service. We had the wings - It's a wings week special. Nothing was special about their wings. We also had cobb salad with chicken tenders, too salty. Maybe I should have ordered something else here.

This hip combination of old and new right next to Riverside provides a quaint, pleasant place to eat or drink. We shared different meals as a family and the grilled cheese was unique, the burger up to par, the chicken fingers quality, and the fries very fresh. It’s about what you’d expect at a craft-brew place like this. Speaking of the craft brews, there was a good diversity of choices, both on tap and by the bottle. One added bonus was the ability to watch the end of the 2022 Open Championship on their TVs. This was a great setting for lunch on a rainy Sunday. You won’t regret coming.

Went to arnold last night for the first time and we had a blast The food was fantastic, so was the entertainment. The place was packed, but still, the staff did a great job keeping pace. We're definitely planning to come back

Stopped to have a drink and dinner on our way to Louisville. Met a couple regulars that shared the history of the bar which was the main reason for the rating. Loved what they shared and the history of the pub. Our service was great and quick. Great options for a pub. The food and drinks we had were ok.

Love this place on certain Sat nights when Moonshine Drive, (a GREAT Blue Grass group), is there. They play out in the large sheltered patio area. The first time we went for dinner to hear the group, the food was decent. This time, it was over an hour before we learned they lost our ticket, then when we finally got our meals, only the salad was better than mediocre. If Moonshine Drive hadn't been playing, we would have left. The only reason I would consider making the trip again is to enjoy the music. Maybe if the owner had been there, food and service might have been better. We'll see. In the meantime, you'd better hang on to Moonshine Drive!

The food was unique and very good. Their Old Fashioned is the best ive had in Cincinnati, and the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. The outdoor area will be the only place I go to enjoy everything they have to offer, as there is a stage for live performances. The staff are all polite and helpful. This will be one of my new favorite spots

Arnold's is a great place for good food and a cold beer. Our 6 person lunch party ate in the covered outdoor area reached by waking through the long bar. There was a piano player playing blues music which created a great atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive. Well worth the visit. We will be back when we're in town.

There's a reason this place has been around for so long. The food and drinks are phenomenal as well as the service. Sitting in the courtyard listening to live music was the perfect date night!

Really cute historic bar and restaurant with live music. The outdoor seating area has a stage and they had a really fantastic band playing. The food was really good. I tried the green tomato burger, the wings And the fried cauliflower. All were delicious. The drinks were good and it's all reasonably priced. They have vegetarian options and gluten free. It's handicap accessible. There's better parking in the lot behind and then you can cut through the alley. The historic building it's in is beautiful And they've done a good job keeping that speakeasy kind of vibe. It's close enough to be able to walk to eat first tand then walk other events. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended

Arrived in Cincinnati early and the hotel room wasn’t ready. Found this nice little hole in the wall bar and restaurant. Opened up into a very interesting dining experience. I tried 2 different IPA’s which were great. For dinner I had the delicious wings and the meatballs and another beer. When I ordered my 4th beer I asked what the percentage was of this particular beer, at which point the waitress made a rude comment “well that’s going to be your last one” my friends and I laughed assuming her dry sense of humour must be a her “thing”. Nope, she was dead serious, yet continued serving my two coworkers drinks. Shelby would be better served washing dishes or bussing tables until she can understand how her position affects the customers experience and further patronage.

Fifty West Brewing Company- Burger Bar is a craft brewery and taproom with a casual, rustic atmosphere. What sets it apart is its active lifestyle offerings, including sand volleyball, running, cycling, canoeing, and kayaking programs along the Little Miami Scenic Trail and Little Miami River. The brewery also hosts unique events like Punch Out, an annual brewery-on-brewery boxing tournament.
We were trying out mariemont for the first time for a date night, just getting to know the area and we came across fifty west. The atmosphere instantly caught our attention and now we’re hooked. The better secluded outdoor seating was a big appeal while you can enjoy watching pickle ball or sand volleyball games or your kids can play in the sand play area. There’s also tables in a big sand area so even more fun while you eat. Everything was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helped right away. The decorations, lighting, and music are big reasons to come again and again. But the food was fantastic while being very reasonably priced. Definitely a must do if you’re in the area.

Great place to bring the kids! The burgers are good as well, but the atmosphere is what brings me and my family back. Grass truf seating area with sand volleyball courts, a racket ball court, sand pit for the children, and an area where you can play corn hole or just toss a football! I would recommend everyone to come and try out their food, beer, desserts, and the atmosphere! I love it energy and the vibe of the place! One of the more comfortable vibe spots in the Cincinnati area! Job well done!

We booked two cabanas at Fifty West for a Friday night rehearsal dinner. As expected, the place was buzzing, it's clearly a popular spot on a nice evening, and on this particular night, there was also a graduation party happening. Between the regular crowd and the event, parking in the main lot was a challenge. Fortunately, there is additional parking available across the street, which helped ease the situation. The venue itself is a great setting for a casual gathering. There are plenty of picnic tables, sand volleyball courts, pickleball courts, and a turf area for kids to run around or for guests to relax. It's a fun, energetic environment that works well for groups. Our group started to arrive a bit later than our reserved time, but we were surprised to find people already sitting and dining in our cabanas. Since these had been pre-booked and prepped for our party, it was inconvenient to ask the group to leave and then find a staff member to come over and wipe down the tables. While we recognize that we were running a little behind, we expected the cabanas to be monitored and held for our reservation. A staff member should have been assigned to oversee the area and ensure it remained ready for us. On a more positive note, the food was great and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived. The drinks were also solid, and we especially loved the variety of shakes! The staff was very accommodating when it came to packing up leftovers, providing takeout containers for all the extras without hesitation, which we really appreciated. Despite the small hiccup with the cabana seating, the evening was a success overall. With a bit more attention to managing reserved spaces, it would've been flawless. We'd definitely consider coming back for another group event or a casual night out.

Lots of parking but very busy on a Saturday afternoon so the overflow parking is across the street. All free. The brewery is a brewery, diner turned outdoor brewery space. They have an inside dining area, covered outdoor patio, volleyball and tennis courts, as well as event spaces to rent that are outside and covered. Sand everywhere - the kids seem to really enjoy it! We met some friends on a rainy Saturday with the dogs (it’s dog friendly) and sat in the covered patio area. You walk up to an outdoor window to order (beer or food - a separate window for food /bar for beer). They’ll text you when your food is ready at the pick up window. Good hand held options with a load of “styles” to choose from - pick your protein on your “burger” and pick a “style” to dress it up. The shareable loaded fries and pretzels were delicious! Beer options are numerous with a few more cocktail like options too.

Best food ever from a brown paper bag! You can’t go wrong with a group of friends especially if they had kids in tow. Service is #1 priority here, food and fun rounds out the list. Take a little drive and enjoy some excellent wings, fat burgers, crinkle cut fries and some cold brew😁

This place is self-service. You order the food and drink then find a table to sit, indoor or outdoor. They will send a text message when the order is ready, and we gotta pick it up. Also, they need to update the "rootbeer" sign outside since they stopped making their own rootbeer a while ago.
Boe D — Google review
Staff was great. Food and prices were good. Don’t come expecting to play sand volleyball though. We stopped in on a Monday evening after being in town for my daughter’s volleyball game. Her and 2 friends were so excited for the sand volleyball courts! Unfortunately they were filled up with league teams that would not let a few teens join in. Since there were at least 4 courts It would be nice if one or 2 of those were left available/open for pick-up games and families stopping in to eat. For this reason we won’t be back.

Quan Hapa is a trendy Asian fusion gastropub situated in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati. The restaurant underwent a significant revamp and now features a modern dining room, expanded patio seating, and an updated menu. It offers innovative interpretations of Asian street food alongside an array of cocktails. The compact yet stylish eatery provides a communal atmosphere reminiscent of San Francisco's dining scene.
The food was yummy :) I had the tonkatsu chicken plate and I’d give it an 8/10. I did not enjoy the rice but the salad and meat was delicious. My mom also had one of the vegetarian dishes and she very much liked it. Nicely presented!!

I ordered the loaded waffle fries and the garlic noodles with tofu. My parents ordered the okonomiyaki and it was very good too! Our waiter Brandon was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the food. The only downside was that there wasn’t more food on the menu, because it’s so delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back in the future,

We came specifically for Cincinnati Wing Week but ALL the food was delicious! The servers were attentive and funny. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re considering it.

I had a quite tasty chicken dish here as a midday snack. Sticky as all get out, but worth the mess. (They offered me plastic gloves but I just went for it with my hands). Many beers on tap. Service was friendly. Diverse menu. I believe “Quan” Is the Vietnamese part of name and “Hapa” is Hawaiian (I may have gotten the story wrong, and of course I forgot the meanings!)

Its okay. It is a bit pricey compared to the other places around them. My biggest issue is the service, there's one bartender/server and they are usually talking for fun at the bar, that you'll be waiting a good bit to even get your order taken. Not to mention it can take up to 25 mins or more (I finished an anime episode there) to even get your food, so this is truly a sit down and not a lunch spot. Food is good though, just be mindful of your time.

I love noods and a cold cocktail . Service was great and I had the best seat in the house at the bar . The food was just okay this time because they were out of a few items . Good for them on a sellout but bad for me . lol , this is a gem in otr. Go visit .

Amazing food!! Fun shared style drinks in a watermelon and more. I had the house cabbage pancake crispy topped with shrimp and other delicious things! The only reason I gave it a 4 was because we wanted a patio table but the overhead door couldn’t be opened so we were against plastic windows. 4 barstools were different and I couldn’t figure out how the others were staying seated and I kept falling off. Mine was way smaller than theirs!!

Nestled in the heart of Cincinnati, HARU is a warm and inviting eatery that specializes in authentic Korean cuisine. Known for its classic dishes like bibimbap, barbecue, and delectable noodle options, this restaurant has quickly gained recognition as one of the best spots to enjoy Korean flavors. With a daily Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m., it’s an ideal place for gatherings—whether you're celebrating with friends or enjoying a quiet meal alone.
January 8 2021. I ordered from the lunch menu, dine in customer service was great, patrons spread apart as much as could be, water, bathroom was clean, food was really good, seafood bibimbap, $20 with tip. I would definitely recommend this place. I can't wait to try the other dishes which are a lower price point. You can order to go. Food came out quickly. Happy New Year!

This is a little restaurant on Vine, right across from the Hampton/Homewood hotel. The staff are really friendly and professional. Quiet atmosphere, and feels like fine dining. Five stars doesn't do justice for this restaurant. Absolutely, outstanding customer service by my server and the food oh the food was so delicious, well seasoned and made to order. I had the beef spare ribs and it came in this sizzling clay pot which made the rice at the bottom for a crunchy crust. The added sides provided woth the meal only enhanced the experience even more. The Korean fried chicken was so scrumptious and flavorful made me lick my fingers to savorthe flavors. Even though it was covered in this yummy, sticky sauce it was still crunchy. The price was shocking to me as if this was FL it would have been at least $60 with tax. It was $32 for the lunch and appetizer. I cannot wait to go back to Cincinnati as this restaurant would definitely be on my must visit list. They are located on Vine st obliquely opportunity the Hampton Inn. Didn't see any space for parking as we were on foot.

Great small business with authentic food. We went for a work lunch with a group of six. We ordered: 1. Miso soup - not too salty (4.5/5 🌟) 2. Salad - ginger dressing is savory and deliciously 😋. (5/5 🌟) 3. Dosalt Bibimbap - I enjoyed this authentic dish. Fresh quality ingredients. (5/5 🌟) 4. Bulgogi beef - the person who ordered enjoyed. (5/5 🌟) 5. We ordered a few sushi rolls, and all were tasty. (5/5 🌟)

The restaurant's website says "The Authentic Korean Restaurant." As a Korean, I would like to say "NO!!" It is Americanized Korean food. Taste of Soft Tofu soup is like Seafood Ramen Soup (If you are Korean, you know what I mean). The grilled mackerel is too burnt. Pros: Again, It is Americanized Korean food. I can recommend this place to my American friends. Clean. Cons: Expensive. Over $7 for Salad?? Oh no~~~ I spent over $100 for lunch, but only 3 Banchan? -Parking: Don't use "SP+ Parking" beside the restaurant. They will charge you DOUBLE if your tire touches the parking line. Use the SpotHero app to reserve parking space at 7W7 Garage across from the restaurant. Reserved space will be on the first floor. You will not walk too much.

My first time here with a party of 4 and we all enjoyed the delish food! Mary, our server, was helpful with our questions and pleasant throughout our dinner. The veggie dumplings were so good and the sauce they are served with was beyond good. Try the tempura sweet potato! The hot plum tea was sweet and yummy. The food was all hot and fresh tasting. Will definitely return!

Second time ordering sushi from HARU (I've dined in once before here too, and the hot dishes being served in cast iron bowls are worth the trip. Also, I recommend the hot mango tea). I'll tell ya, this place does not disappoint. The air force roll and Vine Street roll are my personal yummy fried favorites. As for the raw sushi, the rainbow roll is LOADED with fresh, flavorful fish, like you are getting your money's worth trust me. Quality is everything here, and HARU has been consistently really delicious. Thanks!

I love the hummus and bread, I add tapenade and cukes for a little twang and crunch! Mmm mmm good! I also got the tomato soup, it smells wonderful and has a great flavor. It’s a little too much like a sauce for me but I’m use to smooth tomato soup and this had some volume/ texture! (Not a bad thing, just not my vibe) I also tried the mango jet tea, delicious and a quick bite out of the meltdown melt (I want more but it’s for later)

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is a popular chicken restaurant that features spicy fried chicken, handcrafted tenders, delicious seafood options, and red beans and rice. The menu also includes buttermilk biscuits and more.
My commute had taken me away from this location for a while but today when I drove past I decided I'd stop in for some spicy chicken. The staff was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with both at the speaker and then again at the window. The food was prepared quickly and everything was fresh and good quality. Today was the best experience I've ever had at a Popeyes. I look forward to stopping by more often. Keep up the good work Popeyes Covington!

Placed an online order to try the chicken wraps. Upon arrival I was told I had to come inside for online orders, no big deal. Inside I had to wait for 15 minutes when there was only one person ahead of me at the counter. The chicken is unbeatable. I couldn’t even tear it apart it was so dry and rubbery and was not fit to eat. This is some sketchy chicken. This is my first ever review as I never take the time but this is mind blowing and worth it if it can save someone else the time and money to avoid this place

Tonight June 30th 2025. At around 9:30 p.m. I went to Popeyes in Covington Kentucky I live in Cincinnati but I was over in Kentucky and decided to grab something to eat I stopped at Popeyes I ordered four piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of coleslaw a three-piece meal with a side of coleslaw I paid $25 and what I got was chicken breasts that looked old and dried out even though I asked for no breasts I asked for two thighs a leg and a wing spicy I did not get spicy chicken the coleslaw was spoiled they poured my drinks into two separate small cups because they didn't have any regular size cups the pop turned out to be seltzer water it was supposed to be a Sprite both coleslaws were spoiled I will never go back to Popeyes again. I didn't realize what I had until after I got home and check the bag I didn't take it back because I live in Cincinnati and that's a pretty long drive.

This is the 1st time in several years I had this and it was actually good. Other locations I would rate a 2 (only because it all makes a turd). But this store was busy AND getting orders out with hot fresh food!! I gave the girl who waired on me $5 and told her she definitely makes a great difference in the fast food space. She smiled big and was grateful. Only issue was the lobby appearance:>( Miller Rd AND Clio Rd. Flint needs this level of service ASAP.

I swear this is the worst Popeyes I’ve ever stepped into. The whole place is chaos dirty tables, lazy workers, and a manager who acts like he’s doing you a favor by just standing there. I waited forever for my food, and when it finally came, it was a complete joke. The chicken looked like it was fried last week, dripping oil everywhere, fries soggy, and the biscuit could break a window. The staff talk to people like they don’t care, no respect, no professionalism it’s honestly embarrassing. Whoever owns this place clearly doesn’t give a damn about customers or quality. This Popeyes needs new management, new training, and maybe a reality check. Absolutely disgusting service. Never again.
Said E — Google review
I deeply recommend whoever is in charge of this location to pull up the cameras and figure out what the actual this place is doing right now. They’re declining my calls, telling everyone they have no food, being super rude, saying “we don’t have food” then slamming the window shut. I am appalled rn. How do they have absolutely nothing for me to buy. And how are they getting away with this. I wonder how much money this place is missing out on. 10/23/25 10:10pm
Rileigh R — Google review
I have been here two days in a row as a door Dasher. Keeping in mind that I am also a manager at a nearby restaurant, they don't put customers first. The bigger white guy who has been the manager lately is awful. No customer service skills. Very rude and off-putting. Told me they had the order then said they didn't. His little girlfriend was in the dining room and he served her then followed her outside when there was only one other worker left inside the store. She even harassed me about how there was only two workers there and how they could use the help, but has been getting free food for days when her manager "friend" is working..even the dog in her car was barking at him, but he still gave them free food and proceeded to leave the one crew member inside alone..I've pulled up to this place multiple times and he is sitting on his butt outside smoking cigarettes. He is lazy and has terrible customer service skills and has no idea how to run a restaurant, or how to keep employees. This dude needs fired.

Since they didn’t want to Answer the phone or sent it straight to Voice Mail I order in the drive around 2:47-2:50pm 10/22/25 went inside because the card machine wasn’t working for the drive thru I got to work went to eat my 3piece combo Leg wing, breast with fries and drink the wing and leg is fine but the Breast was under cooked the biscuit looked like it was just sitting under the light dough like texture it’s unacceptable that we pay our money and they don’t take food safety seriously the place is dirty the workers look dirty until it’s changed I will never go back there.

The Blind Pig is a popular downtown sports bar in Cincinnati, Ohio, known for its modern speakeasy vibe and rooftop patio with stunning views of the city. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Great American Ball Park and Paul Brown Stadium, making it a great spot for pregame gatherings. The bar offers a variety of local craft beers and pub grub at affordable prices. With 10 TVs, it's an ideal place to catch athletic action while enjoying their daily drink specials.
This is a great place for any pregame fun. You go up the stairs to get to it. There are 3 separate areas, an outside rooftop area, the main bar (with a few tables) and on down the hallway is a quieter second bar with more tables. This food is wonderful, made fresh and at a very reasonable price. There is not any tables service, waiters or waitresses, you have to order your food at the bar. They will then give you a number sign for your table, and they then bring your food to your table. The outdoor seating area had wonderful views of the city and adds to the overall atmosphere.

We went during dinner time because the menu looked tasty and affordable while having a roof to seating option. When we arrived it took us a while to find an actual employee once we did we were instructed that it was bar service only so we ordered our food and went out and said on the outdoor seating area. In some area was extremely loud and would not be suitable for a family to eat dinner. The outdoor seating area did have music playing and while not extremely loud it was extremely vulgar. In fairness the food was good and at no point did I find any advertising that would suggest they consider themselves a family-friendly place.

We are from out of town they said they was open late and we don’t have one back home so we thought we would give it a try. I got the Big Pig Burger it was a microwaves burger or a burger that had been sitting in water forever. It was gross McDonald’s would have been better. I was expecting a nice grilled burger with pulled pork on top. The fries were clearly hours old but I don’t send food back. We also ordered wings and for $2 a wing I was expecting amazing things yeah that’s a big no sauce was just thrown on top not tossed and they also have been sitting for hours. This place is open til 2 we got food at 8 I would go back for a drink but I would never eat there again. I have it a 2 stars because service was great and fast but it was clearly fast because the food had been ready and waiting

An interesting place to have dinner. We went because of a review on empanadas, however that wasn't on the menu anymore. I had the chicken sandwich. He was very good with the buffalo sauce and topped with bacon. I also had the fried pickles. They were also very good. They were chips and not speers. Nice crisp breading on them. I would definitely go back

Boyfriend and I stopped for a drink after the Casino while we stopped in Cinci over night in a road trip home. Loved the vibe and atmosphere of the bar, and drinks were good! Only "complaint" is that our bartender was definitely intoxicated and kept forgetting to get us our tab to pay so we could get back to our hotel room for the night. She was super friendly and made great conversation, so our only note is that we mentioned we wanted to get back to our dogs at the hotel. We do definitely plan on coming back in October for a football game, and hope to see our same bartender!

If you go for lunch and sit inside this is one of the best chicken sandwiches you can get in the city. I told all my chef friends so you know it’s good. Keep it up!

The tenders were cooked in dirty oil. Fries had a lot of salt on them. The Mountain Dew was out and needed changed so she got it from behind counter and it tasted just as bad. Fast friendly service, no line. There was an unattended child sitting in lobby.

I went there to get my pops some food because he just had a kidney transplant, so the only thing they got right was that they put the food in a box I want an original they gave me crispy I wanted coleslaw they gave me mashed potatoes the biscuit was the same hardness as a rock no forks or spoons they didn't put the honey in there I went through the drive-thru they asked me to pull around and waited about 20 minutes not to mention the service received just straight uncomfortable oh and I don't know why I had to wait so long because the chicken was if you can imagine sitting on that shelf that has a hot light to keep it warm I'm thinking it probably was sitting there for maybe 3 or 4 hours or more I mean some people aren't aware that when they do a bad job it can affect others disinfected my pops in such a way that it literally affected health due to the disappointment of such a bad meal you know it's bad when it's worse than hospital food

The chicken and fries tasted awful, like they were cooked in old oil. The staff member at the counter was rude and unprofessional, girl with tattoos on her neck. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Fries tastes like a fish.

KFC is a hit and miss. Depends on location. We went to one off Reading and they didn't serve us - like they pretended we didn't exist. So we left to this one and it was fine. No green beans but fine. Good food and fast service. Be sure to check what you received as order mistakes are very common.

Papa Johns Pizza is a popular pizza take-out and delivery chain known for its classic and specialty pizzas, as well as wings, sides, and desserts. Customers appreciate the delicious options such as make-your-own pizza with cheese-stuffed crust and Twix dessert. While some experienced issues with the ordering process or delivery areas, others praise the quick service and great food quality. Despite occasional hiccups, many patrons plan to order again due to their overall positive experiences at Papa Johns Pizza.
We ordered a pepperoni stuffed crust and breadsticks. Was some of the best PJ we've had in a long time. Our delivery driver was a gentleman, he was extremely nice and courteous!!!
Morgan — Google review
“Terrible experience with Papa John’s. The pizza I ordered barely had any cheese on it, making it dry and tasteless. To make things worse, the delivery man carelessly left the pizza on the ground, which is beyond unacceptable. This was by far one of the worst pizza experiences I’ve ever had. Completely disgusting and disappointing—won’t be ordering from here again.”

Upon arrival I was informed by an employee my order was being worked on , Then 15- 20minutes later another employee comes from the back and stated that my order was not being worked on due to the store not having the ingredients to make my order?? This dishonest and dissatisfying experience maybe why so many locations are being closed down.

Genuinely the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Look, I’d get it if you’d think this was my fault. I don’t eat cheese, and ordered a veggie pizza. But here’s the thing, other Papa John’s have made this same order so good and full of toppings that I didn’t even miss the cheese! This time however, there was *barely* any. Like, we’re talking less than 10 pieces of small mushroom, maybe a 1/4c of onion, and none of the banana peppers I paid for, other than the one that already comes in the box. It was truly inedible.

Ordered ahead to get my food when I arrived. Was greeted and told my food was in the oven. 22 minutes later, I'm told my pizzas were not even put in the oven. Smgdh. Offered a bottle of pop while I wait. Nothing I drink is available. Do not recommend. Highly disappointed. I won't be back to that location. Do better.

Chimaek is a fantastic addition to Covington's dining scene, offering delicious food at great prices and quick, friendly service. The menu features items like corn chips and tenders with a variety of flavorful sauces. The house-made dipping sauces, such as soy garlic and sriracha bourbon, are particularly noteworthy. In addition to the excellent fried chicken, the restaurant also offers delightful tempura vegetables with a satisfying crunch. The well-curated beer selection adds to the overall experience.
Excellent food and great service! I particularly enjoyed the vegetable tempura, which is delightfully crunchy and light, which balances well with the fried chicken and several delicious sauces. Skip the ranch dressing on the tempura and go for a wing sauce instead, I'm a big fan of the Sriracha bourbon or the general tso. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to time and time again!

Wonderful! Terrific food at a great price, with very quick and friendly service. Went with the corn chips, tenders and a flight of the sauces. The corn chips were very tasty and had a wonderful blend of flavors and a satisfying crunch to the chips. The tenders were cooked perfectly and the sauces ranged from great taste without heat (honey sesame) to just enough spice to compliment the flavors in it (the orange mango habanero). All in all I will definitely come back, cannot wait to try some of the other appetizers.
Clifton L — Google review
The fries and sauces were excellent! In the past I’ve had double friend KFC and was disappointed in these tenders. Definitely a step up from cane’s but nothing special in my opinion. Not bad by any means, but I think if they work on the breading and frying it could be. The vibe was chill, but probably won’t be back unless someone else wants to go.

My friend and I stopped in early on a Saturday and had a great time! We absolutely loved the Sweet and Spicy Chicken and the Soy Garlic Chicken! The house lager was pretty good and the chance to try the soju was very much appreciated. We sat in the dining area and enjoyed watching reruns of the Price is Right and Baywatch lol.

FANTASTIC New Korean Chicken spot in NKY. The food menu is simple and executed with delicious specificity. Get tenders or wings, try the sauces (get a few, I promise), and get a cool beverage. There is great times to be had here and nothing that will disappoint. Happy hour is boss as well!

Chimaek is the perfect casual spot to grab quality fried chicken quick! I left my meal dreaming of when I could visit again! Highly recommend the chicken tenders with the honey seasme and soy garlic sauces. Additionally the waffle fries are amazing. What a fantastic spot and great addition to Covington!
Cassandra B — Google review
Chimaek is a great new addition to Covington’s burgeoning restaurant scene. We had the chicken tenders and tempura vegetables, which both shone on their own, but the real stars of the show were their house made dipping sauces: it was tough to pick a favorite, but the soy garlic and siracha bourbon left a lasting impression. The beer selection is well curated and leaves little to be desired. Classic domestics and local favorites join a few Asian beer options, and they even have a few seltzers and cocktails if that’s your thing. I hope they extend into lunch hours!

It's a hole in the wall. Small menu. They just do what they do, and there's nothing wrong with that. Had to try a hot chili cheese Mett, and I'm always down for a Chicago dog. Both were great, and inexpensive. Well worth the stop.

Awesome. Chicago Dog made with authentic ingredients at the correct proportions. Full sized cheese coneys made with real hand shredded cheddar, not dry powdery and store bought.

Good Chicago dogs they forgot the little pepper so was it really a Chicago dog? Pass on onion rings they were a little doughy … dipping sauce was ok. Service was quick when the guy realized I was at window.

This establishment is a better option than the other hot dog places advised in this city. There are plenty of options on the menu to choose from. Sit at the picnic tables or your car. The food will taste good. I had the Chicago dog and a Mild Chillie Cheese dog. I was full to the brim when done.
Mr B — Google review
My grandfather in law grew up in this area and he always told me about how good this place was. I don’t think there’s a day that goes by that he doesn’t mention the Hot Met Coneys that they’re known for. I got to talking about them the other day and made the trip out. Me and my wife ordered a bit of everything, we got a slaw dog, a coney, TWO hot met coneys (one for grandpa), a Chicago dog and chili cheese fries. I have to say, the food was all super good. It tastes very fresh and home made, like in your grandmas kitchen. The hot met coney lived up to the hype, it was amazing. All the food I got was very good. They even gave me a woven sack with the Mr Genes Dog House logo on it to have my food in. I paid about $30 for everything which was very reasonable. Skyline would have been way more expensive. Would love to come back!!! Pictured is the Chicago dog, it was an absolute banger!

Fried pickles and their local beer are amazing. Our waitress AJ provided exceptional service. Nice comfortable atmosphere. Wings were cooked perfectly and the honey hot sauce is super tasty. Atomic sauce has a nice kick to it. Potato wedges were nicely seasoned. Definitely plan to come back again for sure.

At first I thought it was Buffalo wild wings then I looked closer and it was not. The wings were ok tasted like Domino's or any pizza place. The rings onion rings were over seasoned all you can taste was the seasoning. The waitress was excellent she was very nice and professional. The atmosphere was ok plenty of tv to watch sports maybe next time I'll try the potato wedges. The fudge sundae was ok the brownie was cold and they put cool whipped on sides for presentation but didn't help with the taste. On good note they do offer military discount

Place is clean and empty and there is a reason why. The food is very bland and the service is slow as well as business. We sat at a booth where the kitchen was visible and we spotted one of the cooks with her hair down without a hat nor a hairnet on her head. UNSANITARY. We also noticed our food being ready on the kitchen window but our server was at another booth playing on her phone. I ordered boneless wings that had a very thick layer of fat and the sauce was very watery. This felt like a huge downgrade from roosters’s which for less the cost gives you more chicken on the wings and better flavor. Will probably not come back to this place when there is better options out there.

just came in today at around 7:30 and we got seated right away, but the lady said the server will be right with you and i told my mother my drink order in case the server came while i was in the bathroom, and i came back to NO DRINKS on the table. our apparent server looked over towards then went into the back ignoring us. never caught her name or name tag, but she was lightskin and had a bun on her head. she came out of kitchen and instead then went to two guys who already been eating and drinking and that’s when my mother and i got up and left. it was rude, it was disrespectful and it was frustrating especially because we had just drove almost two hours from Gahanna (or Columbus), my mother hadn’t had food ALL DAY, and the server didn’t stop by our table ONCE.

Great food. Great service. We are at the rehab hospital close by and get food here a lot. There is no inside seating except to wait, but we eat at the hospital. Food is good but the other day we went through the drive thru and placed a family meal order. We had to wait for it and ended up waiting for 45 minutes. When we got home and was taking stuff out of the bags we saw there were no potato wedges. So we called ahead to go back up there. While waiting, again, for them the guy that did the order said we probably have them and was just trying to get free ones. If I knew his name I would’ve said something. Needless to say we won’t go back.

By the time I waited in line, ordered and received my items it was 27 minutes . The person taking the order does not listen to what you are ordering. I ordered the two 3-piece chicken dinners and they gave me the combo strips. I also ordered a side of potato wedges which they neglected to put in my order after I paid the extra $2.59. I called back to tell the manager and they put me on hold for 21 minutes. This is not customer service whatsoever.!!!!!! I will not go back to this location. Toppers Pizza is a pizzeria chain known for its unique toppings, including wings, and offers both counter service and delivery. It is a no-frills, reasonably priced pizza restaurant often located near colleges and open until 3:00 am. The menu includes specials as well as customizable options with an ample selection of toppings. The hand-tossed crust strikes the right balance of thickness and crispiness. While it can get busy, the food is consistently hot and decently priced.
Was really surprised how good the pizza was. The employee was friendly in taking our order and the pizza was ready quickly. We dined in and ordered the pizza with tots on it. Didn't have any issues, despite what other reviews mention. This place is worth trying, they have a lot of specials they run so it seems like a good value too.
Holly M — Google review
Ordered off DoorDash from this location cheese sticks. I also received the wrong sauce. You see the picture enough say it. It only got two stars because the dough that was not burned was actually good. However, this is just sad because I paid a lot in delivery fees for some BS.
Kandy P — Google review
Before we start, realize this is in a college area... I used to DoorDash late at night, and after finishing deliveries at midnight, there was usually nothing else open. So I would stop and grab Pizza here. It can take them a bit of time to get it ready as its always extremely busy. The food was pretty good, nothing to write home over. Decently priced and always hot food. The atmosphere was always lacking though. Not their fault. You have a college town at midnight, full of drunk and stoned college kids, they have to eat. So the place was usually packed out the door. Feels awkward at a 30 year old man going into a place full of college kids who stare at you like you are the oldest fart around. But the staff was always nice and one guy there was really cute. So it made up for it.
David G — Google review
I ordered for delivery. Half my order was missing, the other half was wrong. I paid for extra sauce and one pizza had zero sauce at all. The worst part was, when I called to ask about getting a refund or having the other half of the order delivered, I was told that the people who take the orders over the phone are remote workers and could not perform a refund or correct an order. They insisted on transferring me to what was supposedly the actual store location to have the refund performed, and I was left on hold for 20 minutes until I finally hung up. I tried calling back multiple times since and the same thing happened. This feels like a scam. It's a shame because the pizza actually tasted like it was good quality.
E A — Google review
They will scam you if you try to order online, my boyfriends card was charged 2 times and we didn’t even get pizza and when we tried to call about it they did not help at all and wouldn’t send our call to the store. Completely disappointed and do not recommend. I see reading the reviews that were not the only ones with this issue so I advise you be careful and keep in mind that if you order here you might not receive your food and they’re not gonna refund you either 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm an uber driver who picks up from here often.pizzas always look incredible! I've always wanted to try it. So I stopped in last night. They have tables and chairs so you can sit down and eat there. Nice break location! Problem is that they don't let you use thier rest room. They don't even let you wash your hands! What kind of a sit down food establishment doesn't let you even wash your hands before you eat! This place is unsanitary to its customers. The food looks great but it's extremely nasty to eat without washing your hands first! I most definitely won't be taking a break at this location ever again! They could at least put out a bottle of hand sanitizer so customers can clean thier hands before eating! Smh

By far the worst dominios. It never fails, every single time I order from this particular location my food is overcooked or improperly prepared. This time they made our pasta not in the pan. I can't make this up. The pizza is overcooked, dried out, and hard. I called and asked to speak to a manager. I was explaining what was wrong with the order (my exact words were, "There are a few things wrong with my order. The first thing is the pasta isn't in a pan, it is just sitting on paper"......the "manager" put me on hold and left me on hold for 13 minutes 47 seconds and never came back to the phone. I called back and the same "manager" seemed confused as she thought the "manager" had spoken to me. She let me know that she isn't even supposed to be working and that I needed to speak to the shift manager. I was placed on hold again but this time the phone was placed down. Approximately six minutes later, the same "manager" returned to the line. I politely explained that I would like a full refund. She agreed to honor my request and stated she would refund the money $45 and pick up the food. She did state the reason why the food was just on a cooking sheet was because they ran out of pans. This is the only location where I constantly have issues. I order from other Dominios and the quality and care that is taken in preparing the food is by far superior. Upon "manager" arrival she only gave $38 refund because she said she couldn't prove that I actually paid the driver $45 and that the $38 was my food order total. Furthermore, she stated that she not suppose to even give the cash back but she only did it because I was mad. I never once raised my voice, cussed, or even remotely gave the impression I was mad. I was very calm and polite to her. I didn't even verbalize any form of personal opinions. I clearly stated what the issue was and requested a refund.

The heavily undertop your pizza. You maybe wondering why are you pizza’s smaller than the size what you ordered. Well looks like folks here are saving ton of money by not using the right weight of ingredients. I ordered a Alfredo sauce pizza with extra cheese. lol there was barely any cheese on it,let alone extra anything . Would highly recommend not to order from this location
Kartik P — Google review
This is the thing about this domino's, if it's late at night or a weekend, you're kind of rolling the dice. This is the reason, if your order is wrong, or you do not receive your order, there is no way to get it corrected. They do not answer the phone during busy times and then website is run by domino's globally. The manager doesn't allow them to issue refunds, they ask to resolve it with your bank, which is absurd.. So you know, it's fine, except for that
Candice H — Google review
I usually don’t leave reviews just to complain but I was really disappointed that this Domino’s couldn’t even do the bare minimum. I walked in to pick up my pizza, walked up to the counter, and the guy working the counter just stared me down, not even a hello or a how can I help you? He just stared at me. When I took my pizza home it wasn’t even cut. LOL. This have never happened to me before. Pizza tasted fine and the order was correct, but this was probably one of the worst Domino’s experiences I’ve had.

It's been over an hour, per the tracker my pizza has been done since 3:15pm. I called the store 2x and manager is no help says waiting on the ONE driver . Says they are busy. Online my delivery was estimated for 21 mins and it's been already 1hr 11 mins and still no Pizza. Charge already hit account, manager not offering ANYTHING for the inconvenience. If I had a car I would not be doing delivery but I don't. I contacted corporate as well you can't even talk to human. Bot text or must submit online complaint. DO NOT ORDER FROM DOMINOES.. so just found out today on my credit card bill that this location also comment Credit card fraud and adds tip to your order even if you put no tip. This order took over 2hrs to get to me and my food was cold. They already add a 5.99 delivery charge. I DID NOT TIP the driver and he added one anyway. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION

Fantastic food, staff, and vibe. I will definitely be back. If you’re thinking about getting the chicken tender wrap, I highly recommend it! And add pickles to it. Also loved the 3pc mix, tenders, and deviled eggs. Next time will need to try those loaded fries…

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHICKEN 🤩🤩 THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALLERGIES. They have GLUTEN FREE & DAIRY FREE BREADED FRIED CHICKEN!!!🥹 So so so good! We have been here a few times now and staff is ALWAYS friendly. The food is BIG portions! My husband and I learned our lesson to share a plate! We will be coming back! (They have a free parking lot a few buildings down & street parking)

This place is so legit. The fried chicken is some of the best I’ve had at any restaurant. It’s hot, fresh (made to order), juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Fries are great, slaw is great, pickles are great, and the galactic sauce is spectacular. I’m not even trying to hype it up, it really is just that good. We’ll definitely be back. Bonus: the staff are awesome. Everyone was friendly, had a smile, and checked on us multiple times. Very hospitable. Great team over there.

What's a vegetarian like me doing in a chicken place like this? Enjoying some delicious food! The jackfruit nuggets are great and quite unique, and the fries are so good. The whole staff made us feel so welcome and seemed to really care about us enjoying our food and our experience there. I really appreciate that we were greeted upon arrival with a quick rundown on how things work (where to order and things like that). We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious. Really some amazing chicken. If it was closer to us, I could see us getting carry-out pretty often. But the dine-in experience suffers due to all that carry-out. There are loads of people just standing around waiting to get their food. We waited around 45 minutes for two orders of 3-piece tender meals to arrive at our table. The place looks like it The sci-fi aesthetic is super fun, but the place could use a thorough deep cleaning.

Awesome fried chicken!! Their secret is it’s gluten free. All of it except for the wraps, sandwich’s and maybe one or two more items. All fried items are gluten free and most sauces. They do keep Malt vinegar on the table but don’t let that scare you. They keep the gluten separate because some family member has Celiac, I believe. Not open on Monday and Tuesdays. You would never know it is free though! Definitely not healthy, but totally awesome for your taste buds!

Amazing gluten free chicken tenders! I don’t know what magic they are practicing but this was one of the few times dining out I didn’t feel like I was missing out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was unable to eat the galactic sauce (chipotle pepper allergy) and the kitchen offered to whip up some honey mustard sauce. Highly recommend!

Dilly is a welcoming establishment that offers gourmet American dishes, live music, and an on-site wine shop. Located in the bustling Hyde Park Square, this coffeehouse/wine bar is the ideal place to relax with a cup of joe during the day or indulge in a glass of vino at night. The extensive selection of wines they provide is truly impressive due to its size. With its European-style ambiance, this cafe serves various types of coffee, espresso, and tea.
Been a customer for years now. This is me and my wife’s favorite restaurant period. The service is always great and the food is amazing. My favorite is the wings, cherry sweet chili is the best. My wife loves the salmon burger. The beer cheese is amazing as well. Sam is our favorite waiter. He knocks it out of the park every time.

First thing we noticed is the physical menus had inconsistencies between mine and my SO. Items were missing on my menu but on hers. We ordered our main course and our appetizer at the same time. The appetizer came quickly but we were disappointed with the portion size. It was 5 pieces total and the bread used for the fig and goat cheese bruschetta was maybe 2 inches long at best and not even an inch wide. They were so tiny it was insane. They were good and the flavors complimented well but the portions for the price was obscene. Our main course took almost 40 minutes to be served. This would have been understandable, to a degree, if the place was full but there were open tables. Food was brought out and it wasn't or tables order. It was physically sat in front of us then the waitress was like oops wrong table. No sorry no anything just picked it back up and wandered off to someone else. I had the salmon and, while it was cooked correctly, it was rather bland. The rice was ok and the asparagus was fine but the salmon was a let down. The creme fraiche didn't have even the faintest hint of lemon and tasted more like sour cream than creme fraiche. The Korean tacos my SO had were fine but not worth the price tag. You can go to condados and get the same thing for far cheaper. With the prices we paid we both would have preferred to have eaten at Emry.

Went last night to celebrate my birthday and had a great time! Our server was amazing, very attentive and friendly. They had an excellent wine selection. I highly recommend the goat cheese bruschetta, it is so incredibly delicious!!

Some of Cincinnati's best wings! We came in for their wing special on Wednesday and tried several different sauces: maple bacon, tequila lime, jalapeno honey, and the root beer glaze with pecan brittle. They were all amazing! And the wings themselves were cooked perfectly. Service was friendly. A new favorite of ours!

This was honestly so gross , I got a burger , a salad that had goat cheese and the banana pudding cake … the burger was …. Not good, the salad had a super weird taste that made me gag, the banana pudding cake was so hard .. it felt like plastic . I think I spent 49 on those 3 things . I would never try this place again. Sorry .

Very nice location and atmosphere. The grilled romaine salad and beer cheese were delicious . Many beer options on tap. This place is attached to a store where you can buy wine . There is an option to bring your wine purchase into the restaurant . Great experience .

Soul food restaurant
Just Cooking BBQ is a barbecue restaurant in Bond Hill that serves up Southern-style food like smothered pork chops, salmon croquettes, and fried chicken. The restaurant reopened in an even larger space at 1142 California Ave., and Monica Williams continues to serve up her soul food favorites.
First time checking out Just Cooking at the new location (even though they’ve been here a while), and it’s still the same fire. I ordered the pepper steak with yams and the beans of the day, plus a side of cabbage. They gave me string beans instead, but I figured they were probably out of cabbage since I ordered online—not a problem. Food was hot, seasoned right, same healthy-sized portions, and cooked with love like always. I ordered online and it was ready real quick. Same taste, same quality. Atmosphere was chill, service was on point. Everything was just very, very, very, very, very good. I’ll definitely be back.

Allowing us to take full advantage of our hour long lunch break. I will definitely be back SOON ! The turkey ribs were tender & the lamb chops were delicious 😋 Mac & Cheese is like Grannies homemade, took me back. Now I have the itis lol heading back to work ✌🏾

My visit to this place was awesome. My favorite thing was all the black memorabilia and recognition. It truly looks like a soul food place it reminded me of some thing I would see in Chicago or Detroit .the portion size WILD it took me three different meals to eat all the meatloaf. The yams were great a little on the sweet side. The macaroni and cheese was definitely homemade. It was great. Everything was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for Southern style cooking black homemade cooking. Like your granny made it yeah, this is the place for that. And it was very affordable. You can’t beat that I got everything for under $20 .They have a wide variety of items on their menu. I’ll definitely have to visit again and try the breakfast.

I really loathe having to leave such a negative review. My bestie recommended Just Cookin BBQ to me. As she knows that I love patronizing our black businesses. I went over there today and had no problem ordering the meal I chose. The cashier who took my order was polite & professional. But that's where it ended. I ordered fried chicken, Mac & Cheese with some cabbage & the free mixed beans. Paid $24, got my receipt, and went to sit down. I waited 1/2 hour for my food and had to inquire 2 times if I hadn't heard my number. There were customers who came in after me getting their food before me. I wasn't giving any attitude or showing any signs of being upset. I waited. When the lady in the kitchen finally did call my number (#84), she said it as if I was wrong for inquiring about my food 2x...nasty! I hurried up & went to the window to get my food and asked if the sauce I'd requested was in the bag and was told yes. I thanked her and left. I get home, excited to try my food, and to my dismay, the food was sub-par. The Mac & Cheese was dry, and chicken and cabbage were just okay. The meal purchased was far from being delicious. The wait time for most of what I ordered that was already done was (Mac & Cheese, cabbage & rice that came free with the meal) was ridiculous! How long does it take to drop party wings in the deep fryer? The lady in the kitchen's customer service left something to be desired. I really wanted to be able to write a fantastic review. However, I'm sorry to say I won't be returning. 🙁

I always come here and enjoy what I purchase. However my order was so screwed up, not what I paid for. I ordered turkey ribs no sauce. Cabbage, beans and rice and pound cake. When I got home, they gave me green beans mac and cheese pork ribs with sauce on them and no beans and rice.. I can't have mac and cheese and also I can't have pork. Tried calling so they can fix the right order but no one ever ever ever answers the phone. I don't live close so now I've got to drive back over there, stand in line and wait twenty minutes for the correct order. The only thing right on my order was the pound cake. I spent $25.00 and I was hungry so I had to drive back. So so very disappointed. This has never happened to me on my orders. There was a new lady at the cash register. Oh yes, and I do have my receipts.

Chicken restaurant
Korean restaurant
Located in Downtown Cincinnati on Fourth St., bb.q Chicken is a Korean-style fried chicken restaurant that originated in Seoul, South Korea. The menu features a variety of flavors such as honey garlic, golden original, and Gangnam style with black pepper sauce. In addition to the delicious chicken options, they also offer ddeok-bokki and sides like french fries, pickled radish, and fried dumplings.
The food was great, the service was great. But please. To whomever runs this place: Your night shift needs more staff. It seems to be short staffed. We waited over an hour for a single order of chicken. The kitchen was slammed, and it wasn’t that busy. The crew did an amazing job. Shout out to them.
Aaron D — Google review
This was extremely disappointing. We love this place, but after today, I don’t think we’ll ever come back. They are absolutely disrespecting Korean fried chicken. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil,who knows how long they’ve been reusing it? On top of that, the sauce was barely there, maybe half of what it should be, if not less. To make it worse, we only got 10 pieces of chicken for the half honey garlic order. They should have the recipe from the company and just followed it properly, there wouldn’t be any issues if they stuck to the instructions. Are they trying to save money? This is ridiculous and unacceptable. It needs to change immediately.

I was a bit concerned due to the reviews but my experience wasn't bad at all. I dined in on Friday afternoon around 3pm, the server was nice and they served the food in normal time. I understand that the experience could be different depends on the day and time of the visit, but I wanted to share mine to those of who are interested but hesitate to give a try.
Sohyun S — Google review
I am truly disappointed. I love BBQ so much that I make it a point to visit whenever I travel to different states. However, the Cincinnati BBQ location was extremely disappointing. The chicken was fried in old oil, making the original chicken look as dark as soy sauce chicken, and the honey chicken was so overcooked that it was tough and rubbery. I genuinely feel like requesting a refund. Paying $93.95 for this meal feels like such a waste.
Gina H — Google review
I’ve eaten here when it first opened last year and the quality of food and service has definitely decreased since then. I think they are quite under-staffed. No one greeted us when we walked in so we just assume it was a casual fast-food style restaurant, which would’ve been fine anyway. Turns out, it wasn’t the case because a server still came and got our orders. Our server was cold and unfriendly, and definitely seemed like she didn’t want to be there. The food took almost an hour to arrive even though the restaurant was almost empty (on a Friday night, which was quite telling). Overall, the service was just bad. Probably better off just having the food to go instead. Thankfully, the food was still pretty good - we had tteokboki (rice cakes), soy garlic chicken, and regular fried chicken. The soda and water tasted really funky though. It’s sad to see that the restaurant changed so much over one year. If the staffing and service issues are not improved, I’m not sure if they will be able to attract returning customers.

Killer Fried Chicken, Awkward Dine-In Vibe bb.q Chicken delivers where it matters most—the food. The Korean fried chicken is crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. But if you’re looking for a lively dine-in experience, this spot doesn’t quite hit the mark. The Food The Golden Original is a classic, light, and perfectly fried. The Soy Garlic? A solid balance of sweet and savory. Hot Mala? Bring the heat—it’s got that slow burn that keeps you coming back. And the Gangnam Style packs a nice black pepper punch. The kimchi fried rice is solid, but the overcooked egg on top? A small miss that takes away from what could’ve been a great dish. The ginseng wings are a must-try—earthy, slightly herbal, and different in the best way. The Experience Here’s the weird part: the place looks like it should be packed, but it’s almost always empty. Meanwhile, the kitchen is cranking out takeout orders non-stop—Uber Eats and DoorDash seem to be their real focus. Service is inconsistent. Some days, it’s quick and smooth. Other days, you might feel like they forgot you were there. Final Verdict If you’re looking for top-tier Korean fried chicken, this is one of the best spots in Cincinnati. Just know that dining in feels a little off. The space is too big for how empty it usually is, and service could use some tightening up. But if you’re grabbing takeout? This is an easy go-to.

I was hesitant to stop in because of a couple of other reviews, but I'm happy that we decided to try it. The business itself is beautiful, with dark accents and high ceilings. We had spicy wings, sweet and tangy wings, and onion rings. The service staff was very friendly and we received our food pretty quickly.
Dawn W — Google review
Ordered the golden original which is not spicy from the menu since they have another spicy golden original on the menu from the AFF for the kids. They ends up give an order with obviously chili powder on it. The cashier insists they gave the correct order and try to say maybe the crunch is spicy. It is a joke. So disappointed about the service and how unprofessional staff there.

One of my favorite spots in the city. Food is very good, wings are some of the best I've ever had, and wings are my least favorite part of the chicken. If they did legs or thighs like their wings, I'd be in heaven! Bartenders and servers are always very nice and attentive, good crowd of customers and a nice chill atmosphere.

Good service and even better food. The ketchup, which looks to be made in-house, is fabulous. The Reuben and fries were delicious and a generous portion but not to the point where it’s over the top (which some Reubens tend to be). My partner got the turkey sandwich and cucumber salad, which were both wonderful as well! There’s a reason this place has the good reputation it does - prices are great, the food is fresh, and the service makes you want to come back!

We stopped in this adorable little restaurant for a late lunch, and it was much more than we expected. The atmosphere was so cozy, and the food was absolutely amazing! Don't pass this restaurant up because the food was great and so was the service. 😊😋

The food was decent. Service was a little slow. Only one person was working the bar and tables. It was a nice small restaurant with a dark Moody vibe. The server was kind. My burger was nothing to brag home about, the vegan burger was burnt but the generous amount of avacado helped mask the burnt flavor.

Nice atmosphere. I liked the music playing. Had late lunch so not too busy. Bartender is the server so probably better i wasn’t there during peak times. Visitors rave about the well-seasoned catfish with a perfect crunch, flavorful greens, and delicious mac and cheese with a crispy top.
Came to Cincy for a few days over the Memorial Day weekend & it was on my bucket list to try this soul food.I was not disappointed with the food, service or atmosphere. Vibe: It was around 5pm on a Saturday, not too crowded & not a long wait, it was about a 15-2o minute wait. Very clean & spacious. If dining in, you place your order & pay then they will tell you which table # to sit at. Angel was very helpful with food recommendations, I loved her customer service & attitude. Asha(sp?) was also very pleasant as well as the owner Nikki! Food: The catfish was hot - cooked & seasoned PERFECTLY! Yams were very good & not too sweet. Mac & chz baked just right with a lil burntness on top(IYKYK), cabbage, turkey tips w/ rice & gravy were also really good! The watermelon lemonade was really sweet to me, if you like a real sweet & flavorful drink then get it, IMO, I didn't like it because I don't like sweet drinks. I highly recommend eating here. I wasn't aware of where to park until after I got back to my car across the street & the employee of that establishment told me that it was their parking lot.

I just found out about this restaurant today, really didn't feel like cooking today, so I decided to give this restaurant a try. I got the fried chicken, Mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread and sweet tea ... Everything tasted pretty good. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. It wasn't as fresh as I would have wanted it to be. But considering the fact that they were super busy, I chalked it up to that. The Mac and cheese as well as the greens was pretty good, not sure if that cook their greens with meat or not...I didn't see any, but honestly it wasn't too bad. The sweet tea was perfect! I will come back and order something different on the menu.

We were close by for a graduation and decided to try Southern Grace Eats after seeing them featured in a short film at a CityLink fundraiser—an organization that supports those most at risk in our community. Knowing this restaurant gives people a second chance made us want to support it, but the experience itself far exceeded our expectations. Before they opened, we were sitting on a bench nearby and every staff member who walked in gave us a warm greeting. One even laughed with us when we asked if he’d be the one making our delicious food—he confidently replied, “Yes, and it’s going to be piping hot.” He wasn’t kidding! I ordered whiting, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. My lunch portion was enough for a second meal. Hubby ordered a Saturday combo with whiting, chicken wings, and a delicious substitution of fried okra instead of fries. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The fresh, homemade lemonade with free refills was a refreshing bonus. Service was friendly and attentive—we were even greeted by the owner, which made the experience feel personal and genuine. We came at the perfect time because the place filled up fast, and for good reason. Southern Grace Eats isn’t just serving great food—they’re serving hope, hospitality, and heart. We’ll definitely be back to fill our craves for excellent soul food!

When my family and I entered the building, the staff were very friendly. They greeted us with a warm smile. We came at a great time before the lunch rush, which was 1155 AM. We could tell it was a popular place. Very clean and fully staffed. The food was fresh and served to us in less than 20 minutes. You pay before you sit down. The drinks include one free refill. You have to try the watermelon lemonade. It is so delicious. I had the 4 whole wings Asian Zing sauce with cabbage and candied yams. It is 50 cent extra for the cornbread, but it is worth it. The food was 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

There is a parking lot in the back of the business. We came when Xavier had graduation unintentionally, but it wasn't packed just a bit crazy just to get to the parking lot. Once inside, there's a menu right above the cashiers. You place your order with the friendly staff at the counter and should you decide to eat in, they point you to a table and someone brings you your drinks. There are TVs set up inside, music playing and they also have outside seating should you want to be outside. There's a counter with condiments set up should you need any. We didn't have a long wait for our food and when it came out, it was 😋 pipping hot, steam still coming from it. My first bite of that chicken nearly took me out, I was surprised that it was flavored and cooked perfectly, that golden brown. The greens were good, my preference is a bit more spice but got sauce tried to help lol. Those yams were delicious. That Mac and cheese isn't Kraft, that's some for-real baked Mac n cheese with the burnt top that I love to pick at and eat. This was good macaroni and cheese, almost like my granny's. Oh, and we had lemonade, if you're not used to sweet lemonade order a water. It reminded me of a hot summer and it quenches your thirst. I would come back for some comfort food.

Great neighborhood place. I'm certain they could film a version of "Cheers" TV show here. Menu varies from great pub fare to an ostrich burger. Potato rags are THE BEST!! Service quick and attentive. After we ordered, the dining room was fairly empty when suddenly, the volume of the music WENT WAY UP!! Our waitress was kind enough to ask the bar servers to turn it down, and they did! Later in the evening, when the place was really rocking, the volume was louder to match the crowd- no problem there. The bar was in full swing, just like the pool table. Very enjoyable evening!

Got a burger and my date got the Fish and chips. The burger was nothing that exciting and the fish and chips was average. The food was hot and fresh out the kitchen which is always a great attribute. The service was nice and responsive to our needs. The outside dining area was well maintained and clean. Beer selection was nice size. I enjoyed my time but maybe cut the prices of the food down a smidgen. You're not getting what you paid for.

Service was pretty bad. The kitchen was on a 10 minute wait, which was fine, but we didn't get any drink order taken for at least 10 minutes and when it finally got taken, the server left before we could order our son a drink. My eggs were pretty burnt. The pizza egg rolls were delicious. In not a bloody Mary person but they offer a bloody Mary bar. They could have just been rushed. They had several other food options I'd like to try but not sure if it's worth the risk of repeat service!

Love this place, the white chicken chili is the best I've had! The burgers are great. The turkey club wrap is awesome! The service is usually good, I've had a few servers who haven't been super pleasant but for the most part we dont have an issue.

Every time I come here I end up having to wait 15 to 20 minutes before my drink order is even taken or I receive a menu. The food is adequate. Most of the time you order something off their menu will tell you that they don't have it. All servers I've ever experienced here are lousy and obviously don't have great customer service or are new to the serving business. The one good Server I had I never saw again.

Hometown Heroes Sports Cafe is a charming spot located in historic downtown Loveland, nestled along the Little Miami Scenic Trail. It's a great place to enjoy coffee, espresso, made-to-order food, and smoothies. The cafe also offers an array of local treats and products such as honey, granola, meat, jam, energy bars & bites. Visitors rave about the delicious food and top-tier service at this family-owned establishment.
We are new to the area. We have had Hometown takeout so many times. It’s like home cooked meals. The steaks have always been fabulous and such a great price. The salads are also really good. We usually get the chef salad add grilled chicken. Again this salad is $10 so very good price. Our little guy loves the fries! My husband likes to get a cocktail when he picks up dinner and said they are always good too

Went for the 1st time yesterday with my family. Absolutely loved the environment, the people, and the food was far beyond my expectations. Truly the best Wings I’ve had anywhere. Well worth the experience.

LOVE Hometown Heroes! The staff are super friendly, the food is amazing, and it’s the perfect spot to grab a beer after work or catch a game. The local crew here goes above and beyond to make sure you have an awesome experience. Hands down my favorite spot in NKY for wings, burgers, and more. Their prices are very reasonable, and the food is great quality! If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out—go check them out!

Really good food most is homemade in house boneless wings are chunks of chicken breast made on site. Nice wait staff and kitchen staff gaming machines and mini bowling machines in the back room. Daily specials every day check there social media pages to stay up to date. Homemade baked beans are great too.

This is the kind of place that keeps you coming back, not just for the food but for the warm and inviting atmosphere. If you’re in the area, you absolutely need to stop by. You won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend the chicken alfredo!

This was our first time here. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great people and great food. Had the breakfast Burger which was awesome and the fries I normally don't eat were wonderful. Update from June 27th 2022. We've been back a few times since and every time the food has been consistently good. Prices are great as well. Always friendly service!

Barleycorn's Brewhouse is a delightful spot that perfectly blends the excitement of a sports bar with a family-friendly atmosphere. This establishment is part of a larger chain known for its enticing drink specials and classic American cuisine, making it an ideal destination for fans looking to enjoy good food while cheering on their favorite teams. One standout item on the menu is their famous Doc-style wings, which are expertly deep-fried twice for that perfect crispy texture.
Wife thinks the garlic-parm wings were the best she has even had. She love the spicy-garlic wings also, my favorite was Doc style which are refried in the sauce. Loved the Valhalla IPA!

I ordered a Reuben from their Oktoberfest menu. It was about as big as a PB&J with two little thin slices of meat. Hell Arby’s Reuben is much better at half the price. How someone is not embarrassed serving that in their restaurant I will never understand.

Nice looking place but my server hadn't had good day in her life. Also pricey. 5 wings, one order of frys and a soft drink was $17.00. That's to much for lunch. The wings were also under cooked. Won't be back!

My husband and I come to Brewhouse every week and always want to make we have Destiny if she is working. She has always been a great server and person. She knows our order and has it to us right away. If Destiny isn't there we usually like to sit at bar because we haven't found another server we like as much. The menu features an array of delectable dishes such as French Toast Roll Ups with vanilla cream cheese glaze, loaded fries with various toppings, and a hearty breakfast burrito. Visitors praise the friendly staff who provide helpful recommendations and the opportunity to turn their lemonade flavors into cocktails.
I had the pleasure of dining here the other day for dinner. And…. THEY WERE OPEN PAST 8 PM FOR DINNER! It was delicious. We ordered salmon with asparagus and macaroni and cheese, and a side of sweet potato cornbread; also salmon, nuggets, potatoes, and onions, and macaroni and cheese. Everything was hot and really well flavored. The service is excellent. She kept checking in on us. We will definitely be back for brunch and dinner.

I really really wanted to love this place based off the pictures and reviews. I must admit however, that my first visit did not meet my expectations. The positive I want to start off by saying is that the staff are very friendly which I feel is important. However..we went on a week day and waited 40 minutes for 2 orders of just chicken and fries. Also, the wings were extremely small. Now the wings and fries I will honestly say tasted really good! But to take that amount of time for wings so small, and combined with fries costing $16..not sure thats worth going out of the way for in my opinion. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day, but I’m not so urgent to return unfortunately.

Ordered stuffed chicken breast, mac & cheese, and sweet potato cornbread. Had a 15-20 minute wait on our food, which was worth it for THE BEST food I've eaten so far in my 25 years on this Earth. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming, and we could tell it made them happy that we really enjoyed the food. It was a great experience, so great that I'm on my way back for breakfast right now.

The food is the BOMB! It's so tasty. We had a minor discrepancy with our order but chef/owner went over and beyond to make it right, with no hesitation! We truly appreciated that and will definitely be back and tell others how great the food is there! I just had it for breakfast I might go back for lunch and dinner! 🤭

A hidden gem in Northside! The staff was so kind and explained everything. We met them know it was our first time visiting. We got suggestions from them and from people who were picking up their food. The lemonade flavors can be made into a libation there. Do it! The loaded fries, salmon nuggets, a salmon sandwich, oh, and wings! What a perfect place to catch a nice meal and drink after work. Make sure you catch this place on your to-do and going again list!

Korean restaurant
Decibel Korean Fried Chicken, located in McMillan St., Walnut Hills, offers a unique take on fried chicken with its double-fried Korean style that results in a crispier skin. In addition to their signature fried chicken, they also serve fried cauliflower and an array of sides including waffle fries, kimchi, seaweed salad, and a special "picnic salad" made with macaroni, celery, mayo and spices. Specials at Decibel include Korean fried corn dogs.
Stopped in today for an epic flavor experience. Ordered the gochujang tenders, Korean fried corn dog, and the bulgogi beef egg rolls. It was my first time trying any of this and let me tell you it was all incredible! The breading and sauce on the chicken was an absolute flavor blast, and the egg rolls are on a whole other level. I was especially excited to try the Korean style corn dog and I was blown away, it was world's different from your standard corn dog. The flavor, the presentation, everything about this experience was amazing. I highly recommend checking them out! We will be back to try Esoteric Brewery which Decibel is located in
Lavender S — Google review
I am in town for work and ordered via Uber so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere really, but I greatly appreciated the automatic inclusion of flatware given that my food was not all handheld. I had the Korean corn dog, a side of white rice, and a side of the marinated cukes. I wanted the drumsticks, truly, but was not gonna be able to eat that much. The corn dog was something I had wanted to try because I've never had one. The breading, the actual frying, the sauce, everything was incredible. I feel it would be much better suited around a less processed center like dark meat chicken than say a hot dog, but hot dogs are so easy on a stick. I would eat the outer shell served as it is, alone. I didn't notice the potatoes at all, and I didn't care because it all combined to create something great. The cucumbers were fine. They were very fresh, lightly flavored, but not so much distinctly Korean. My main complaint is that the white rice was so bad. They expressly state "Korean white rice," with Calrose which is a fairly fancy brand of white rice. But the preparation was wrong. Instead of hot, sticky, slightly sweet, it was... more congealed, without being mushy. They let it sit in the water too long before cooking it, and/or used too much water to begin with. I'm inclined to rate it 3 stars due to this most basic staple being botched, but that's more a personal point of pride as an East Asian person. I'm sure this place is worth giving a try.
Connie C — Google review
The chicken tenders we had from Decibel Korean Fried Chicken at Esoteric Brewing Company on McMillan were excellent. Good quality chicken, tender and juicy, battered and fried. The different sauces we had were all great. Started with the Buldak Dumplings, which were very good and VERY spicy. We like spicy food, but if you don't then just know these are hot. Not too hot to overpower the flavors for me though. Will definitely get them next time and look forward to trying other menu items!
Ray M — Google review
Amazing experience! The food was phenomenal the chicken wings were cooked to perfection. It was nice to sit in the brewery and have a tasty beer with my meal! Share left overs with my family and I think we all can agree this is some of the best chicken you’ll have. The flavors were great. The owner topped the experience he was such a pleasure to chat with. I’m really hoping it makes it throughout the other Ohio region.

The setting in Esoteric Brewery makes environment really nice. The spicy Korean BBQ tenders were very good. The Korean rice with pepper flakes was terrible (and was told I couldn't exchange). Very low likelihood of returning based on customer service of cashier
Marlon R — Google review
Woah, SO good. I had the bbq drumsticks, kimchi fried rice, fried pickles, picnic salad, and cured cukes. Fried chicken breading is crunchy and perfectly absorbs the sauce and the sauce is sweet and tangy and delicious. The cucumbers are the perfect addition to the fried food and are so flavorful. Fried rice is unique, saucy, and has a sweet kick. The pickles are perfectly breaded and the breading mix is divine. The picnic salad is so much better than the description leads on and is a great compliment to the main dishes. I got delivery and everything kept perfectly!

I've been meaning to try Decibel and decided to go today since they had a Cincinnati Wing Week special. Really enjoyed the garlic soy sauce on the wings, however I think they could have used more of the sauce on the wings. I was not expecting the wings to be the large ones, so 6 of them for the $7 special price was an awesome deal. Also got the cured cukes and the waffle fries with the fly sauce. Loved the cured cukes. The waffle fries were great too and I really enjoyed the fly sauce...was not expecting it to be that spicy! The place is a little pricey (6 wings are normally over $10) so without the wing week special, I probably would not have bought as much food but $15 for 6 large wings and two side items was a great deal in my opinion. The place is a little out of my way but I'll be back in the future!
Kimberly F — Google review
Pro: Soy garlic drumsticks were great. They were crispy and savory. They were still slightly crunchy even when I saved some for an hour later. The seaweed salad and rice were also good (standard). Con: The gochujang bbq tenders were dry and tough. We ended up eating only 2 of them because we really just didn’t like them and shared the drumsticks instead. I also order the cured cukes but they must have forgotten to put it into the bag or forgot to take down the order. (It was only $3 if they forgot to bag it so we didn’t call to correct them. It wasn’t a big deal since they were closing when we got there.)

This charming eatery boasts an impressive selection of wing flavors such as spicy garlic and BBQ, alongside tasty sides like fries and nachos. The atmosphere is perfect for catching the game with friends thanks to multiple TVs scattered throughout the venue.
Hardworking and friendly staff. Excellent food. I especially loved the collard greens and recommend the hibachi grill options. The salmon nacho appetizer, beef taco, and Oreo cheesecake were great. Overall the flavors of the food were rich and savory, living up to the soul food cuisine. Indoor seating has a lot of high tops and the outdoor patio has table seating. The outdoor patio is heated very well and was not cold on a late fall night.

AJ's Cheesesteaks Madisonville is a delightful eatery that offers both dine-in and takeout options, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or casual outings with friends. Located on Whetsel Avenue, this inviting establishment features a cozy lobby with standing tables where you can enjoy their mouthwatering menu. The star of the show is undoubtedly their Philly Supremes served on an Amoroso roll—packed with meat and cheese, complemented by a hint of acidity from peppers for that perfect balance.
Actually had them for the first time at the Taste of Cincinnati and hands down had the best food of all vendors. The food was so good. I can't wait to try out their other food.

The Place Has a small lobby with a few standing tables and insanely great food! We stopped in placed an order for a couple Philly Supremes and some sides The Philly Supremes are delicious on the amarosa roll... so meaty and cheesy... with a lil acid from the pepper... a kiss of perfection ... the AJ's Fries are good, But the AJ's Cheese Fries take it to a whole other lvl... The cheese is so good with that seasoning attop it... In truth I have had their Philly CheeseSteak too and it's really good... But that Supreme hits a lil different and its NICE!. Took like 10 min for the order so fast too! Great food at a great price with fast & friendly service. Perfection!

Everything on the menu looked amazing. I got the loaded fries and the jalapeno bacon philly. They were cooked perfectly and tasted better than I could have imagined. They do not skimp on ingredients or flavor ! The location was very clean and easy to find. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I loved the personability of the owner and staff. They make you feel like family which is rare in this world. Please do yourself a favor and make this a regular spot to visit. I will definitely be a life long customer!
Kaitlyn D — Google review
The people couldn’t have been nicer. Brought my family from the other side of town to try the food. Called first to make sure they were open because I had seen on their FB page that they were having air conditioning issues a couple days ago. Talked to the owner when I called, very pleasant man, and he assured me they were open despite the issues. Ordered 4 sandwiches and two orders of fries (regular and AJ’s style) and drinks. Fries were well cooked and seasoned. Got regular Philly cheesesteak sandwiches for all of us. About $65 before tip. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the meat/cheese to bread ratio was way off. I thought the flavors were there, but there simply wasn’t enough on the sandwich to keep the bread from being dry. I’m not saying it needs to be over flowing with meat and cheese, but it also shouldn’t be over powered by the roll it’s on. I don’t know if the portions are pre-weighed before cooking or what, but all 4 sandwiches we ordered were definitely very skimpy on the meat and cheese. I’ll give it another try next time I’m out that way in the hopes that I just caught them on a bad day. They did end up closing while we were there because of said air conditioning issue. Like others have said, the dine in option is very limited as there are only about 3 tables. I would recommend just ordering ahead and carrying out considering the limited seating, no AC currently and a very sticky floor.
Gregory M — Google review
Was so disappointed in this cheese steak 😕 we had it at the the Taste of Cincinnati and there was no l hardly any meat in it. My husband and I discussed this review and here goes: Pro = good bread; Con = all bread. I will say, however, that I'm a firm believer in American cheese on a cheese steak. The only option here (at the Taste, not sure about the regular menu) was cheese sauce and I didn't even miss the American! So that was a plus!
Ivets — Google review
The food was delicious. I had the pepper jack Philly cheesesteak. It had some type of garlic butter on it. That was delicious. The bread was nice, hot and fresh and so was the meat. The cooks were handsome young black men. The cashier was very nice and the service was very fast. I think next time I will add double meat other than that I absolutely loved it a nice addition to Madisonville

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AJ’s Cheesesteak: A Love Story in Madisonville Walked into AJ’s thinking I’d just grab a sandwich. Walked out questioning my life choices because clearly I’ve been wasting time eating other cheesesteaks all these years. The bread? Soft enough to cradle your feelings after a rough day. The steak? Juicy, tender, and seasoned like it’s been whispered sweet nothings. The cheese? Melted perfection — practically gave me a hug from the inside. I bit in and heard angels sing. A single tear rolled down my cheek. I think I fell in love. The only downside is I now dream about cheesesteaks at inappropriate times, like work meetings and dentist appointments. Totally worth it. AJ’s, you’re my hero. Madisonville, consider yourself blessed.

VERY GOOD FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I EAT HERE ATLEAST 1 TIME A WEEK .
Jessica H — Google review
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. For being a restaurant, I was floored by the authenticity and quality. Over the past few years I’ve tried everything on their menu. The amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable. If anyone has had someone prepare them authentic African cuisine and you’re looking for a place to match the at home ‘from scratch’ quality, this is the spot for you. I wish they had a few more of my favorites on their menu, but I’m not complaining. I just like food…a LOT. 🥹 I’d be destroyed if this place ever closed. The only Persian restaurant we had only lasted 2 years and I have to drive 2 hours for it now or make it myself (which is an all-day chore, not ideal for someone living alone but I’ve done it). You hear me, Teranga? Don’t ever leave!
Lo C — Google review
Service was horrible walked out and didn’t order because of the disrespect and lack of customer service! Was upset because I normally receive good customer service and my mouth was ready to eat some Teranga. Seems like the old owners sold it or don’t work in there anymore, which is unfortunate.
Dee L — Google review
This is the real deal. The food is hot, tasty and not too spicy. Most wasn't spicy at all. The service was pleasant. The spot was clean. I basked in the aromas and island flair that is actually African. My family of 3 ate under $40 bucks. Good job Teranga!

I have been going to Terangas for years but they have definitely lost their touch or there is a new cook. My food was very bland so bland I had to come home and put some seasoning which Is something I never had to do because it’s always seasoned well. The cabbage isn’t good anymore, very crunchy. You’ll need to step it up or hire the old cook back. I was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered red snapper, curry chicken, peas rice cabbage and chicken wings.

Pendalo Wingery in Cincinnati is the go-to spot for delicious wings tossed in a variety of house-made sauces. Located inside or connected to Braxton Pendleton, this kitchen serves up perfectly fried traditional and boneless wings with flavorful sauces like Korean and Carolina. Customers can order at the bar and receive a text when their food is ready for pickup at the kitchen counter. The smoky ranch sauce is highly recommended, and patrons praise the crispy perfection of both traditional and cauliflower wings.
It's hard to find great battered wings but, thay have them. We ordered the food while at Braxtons bar and there is a passthrough between the two places. We ordered the Korean and the Carolina sauces with the sampler apatiser. The wings were large and cooked to perfection. Their sauces were good including their smoked ranch and blue cheese.
Jack K — Google review
This is really the kitchen inside / connected to Braxton Pendleton. You order at the bar, pay and they text you to go get your food from the kitchen counter. I got 6 Boneless Wings and 6 Cauliflower Wings with different sauces and both were fried to perfection. I mistakenly assumed it wouldn't be a lot of food, but I barely finished it (and that was without fries / sides). I'll definitely return when I'm in OTR and try the bone-in wings and different sauces (on the side next time, to pace myself better).
Nealy W — Google review
We are frequent patrons of Braxton and have historically had a great experience with the food at Pendalo but the last few times have been underwhelming and tonight took the cake. Somehow the quesadilla was both burnt and undercooked which unlocked a whole new level of bad food you pay for. Frankly I could have made this better and I have literally burnt soup before.
Jenny F — Google review
Tasty wings, but knocking off a star as the boneless wings are so tiny compared to the traditional.

Was good. Good was delicious, atmosphere was meh... I guess you can bring your dogs where there is food being served? Just wanna call out the guy in the French bulldog shirt... If you have to make that your entire personality I just want to let you know you're lame 😆.

Did not care for the hot Buffalo sauce, way too sweet, don’t know the base sauce they use for hot sauce, but judging sweetness of this sauce, most likely sriracha (full disclosure, I don’t like sriracha as it’s too sweet for me)The breading was easy to peel off the tenders, so able to salvage some to eat. Way overpriced for what you got but that’s Pendleton prices I guess

Their grilled wings are a must-try, especially when paired with their signature Original sauce that adds an incredible burst of flavor. But it doesn't stop there! The Chicken Bomb Nachos are another highlight, featuring tender pulled chicken that is simply delicious.
Great place! I ordered the grilled wings, chicken bomb nacho, fried pb and j, and the caramel toffee cheesecake nachos and they were all fantastic. I thought the fried pb and J and cheesecake nachos sounded weird so I ordered them and they were so good. The chicken wings by themselves are great and with the original sauce they have an awesome addition of flavor. Finally the chicken bomb nachos were so good, the pulled chicken tasted amazing and the quantity you get is reasonable. Definitely recommend trying the place out!

Wings were really good, flavorful original sauce. I like that they were grilled rather than fried too. Only downside is they were pretty expensive.

Me & my son wanted to try a new place. So we decided on Bones Brothers. We order 2 orders of the grilled wings & 2 orders of the potatoes. Which was $31.00. The wings didn't taste grilled but I can get past that. We ordered our sauce on the side. We got original, hot & scorpion. The sauce are butter based & weren't very good. When you label a sauce scorpion I would imagine that it would be very hot but nope. The potatoes were super greasy. Then topped with giant scoop of parmesan cheese. Whyyy!!! It's so hard finding restaurants with good food. Just a response to your response. Don't be offended just giving honest feedback so your quality of food can improve. No way you can think a heaping glob of parmesan cheese on top of greasy potatoes would taste good. I didn't ask for a refund or a replacement because I choose to dine at your establishment. We were they only 2 dining in. Not one time did anyone come over & ask "how's everything" if you can't get wings & fried potatoes right why would I want to try anything else!

The very first time I had Bones Brothers was at the food truck festival at Summit Park a few years back. I tried a wide variety of trucks but I kept coming back to them, three times total. I have been following them ever since and everything I have had from Bones Brothers Wings is delicious. My favorite though is the skewers with the Bones Brothers Original sauce. The nice part is they are all over Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky so if you don't want to travel too far they will probably be somewhere close soon. Follow them on social media to find out where they will be be and get your grub on!

Me and some friends decided to try a new place and gave the wings a shot, I got the original flavor along with the spicy ( which had absolute zero spice) and was very dissatisfied I ate two wings and couldn’t finish the rest because it was so bad. Some people may like these type of wings but they are not your traditional type at all. The two flavors I got had absolutely no difference I couldn’t even tell which one I was eating. The flavors are very runny buttery and oniony and NO spice at all so if you like spice get the hottest one. I was soooo excited to try this place and none of us liked it sadly. They do have good Mac n cheese though.

Wings are soggy and gummy like, fries have a clump of parm cheese on top for no reason. I asked for bbq sauce and I have no clue what they gave me but it taste like butter. Thought it might be good on some late night food, better off starving until breakfast. Spot just opened.. I’ll give them 2yrs..TOPS!

Rating this 5 stars even though I haven’t gotten the chance to try it yet. I like to see new business get off the ground near campus and I know how crucial google reviews are and how frustrating a bad one can be, but the response to the first bad review was pretty repulsive and I want to suggest if you get someone who is frustrated with a product when they didn’t know what they were expecting, just leave it be and customers will think so much less of it. The rudeness I saw made me want to not rate 5 stars but I would like to give a chance for redemption. I’ excited to try the food very soon!

Amazing grilled wings and great chicken nachos. The wings are fall off the bone tender. And the chips that they use for the nachos are some of the best tortillas that I've had.
