Taste of Belgium - The Banks is a delightful café that brings a taste of Belgian cuisine to Cincinnati. This charming spot specializes in mouthwatering omelettes, delectable waffles, and scrumptious crepes, all inspired by traditional Belgian flavors. Founded by a Belgian expat longing for authentic waffles from home, the café offers unique treats like Liege waffles and locally-inspired goetta crepes.
I have seen their signage all around Cincinnati. We stopped in for breakfast. My wife and I ordered the breakfast place, which included a signature waffle. My daughter ordered the s’mores crepe. When I bit into my waffle, my mouth went on a journey! I have had many waffles but none like this. Highly recommend this place for delicious food and drinks.
Jenius P — Google review
Our server, Laura, was amazing. She even made a list of recommendations for other places we might want to visit! And the food? Outstanding. Every Single Thing. My waffle flight was the perfect choice.
Vinnie R — Google review
First time ever at Taste of Belgium. And I must say the food with some of the best tasting food we've ever had. We stopped in after the Reds game, it's missing a star mostly because it was very hot where we were sitting which affects the atmosphere and had we gotten a drink refill without having to go ask the manager for it that would have bolstered the other one.
Roger C — Google review
We arrived approximately 35 minutes before closing and, out of courtesy, called ahead to confirm that our late arrival would not be an issue. We were assured it would be fine. Upon arrival, we were greeted and served by Heaven, who took both our drink and food orders at the same time, which we didn’t mind. After placing our order, we noticed our appetizer was placed under the heat lamp just a few minutes later. Unfortunately, it remained there for nearly 10 minutes until the rest of our meal was ready, at which point all the food was brought out together. This diminished the freshness and presentation of the appetizer. Additionally, we had requested that the salads be served on the side. However, one salad was missing entirely, while the other was served directly on the plate. When I inquired about the timing of the appetizer, the server responded with a laugh, which came across as dismissive. Despite the service issues, the food itself was flavorful and consistent with what we’ve come to expect from this restaurant chain, which is the reason this is a 3-star review rather than a lower rating. We are longtime fans of the Over-the-Rhine location and occasionally make special trips from Louisville just to dine there. However, based on this particular experience, we would not return to this location.
Jeff L — Google review
I went with two other people out for dinner and we all shared our dishes. Everything was amazing! We were at a different location for breakfast and loved it so much that we had to come back. We got the poutine, Nashville chicken and waffles, and the Beltucky. All the food was delicious! I just absolutely love their waffles so much. It's unlike any waffle I've ever had! We brought a whole bunch home for family and friends and of course some for ourselves! The staff was great and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! This location is especially conveniently located near a lot of other great attractions.

Jean-François Fletched moved from Belgium to Cincinnati in 2000. He started selling his authentic Liège waffles at Findlay Market in 2007 and was an instant hit. In 2011, Jean-François opened his first Taste of Belgium. Frites and dips are fries served with four different dips. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and lightly salted. My personal favorite of the dips was the curry ketchup and the malt vinegar mayo. I ordered the Classic Bennie, which is served on their waffle, rather than an English Muffin and has grilled ham and arugula. I have recently realized that I really enjoy arugula with breakfast. The bitterness of the arugula and the hollandaise that had a very pronounced lemon flavor, was so delicious. The waffle was very sweet. All together the flavors worked very well, however I would still rather the English Muffin because I want my eggs Benedict to be savory not sweet. Some other dishes that were ordered were savory crepes, granola parfait, Belgium Burger, a mimosa flight 🥰 Knights Reserve and some iced coffees. The building was beautiful and it’s in such a wonderful location. You are literally in between @Cincinnati Bengals and @Cincinnati Reds stadiums. A good food from Europe. First time trying Belgium food, we ordered “Bolo” “Steak and fries” “Chicken Burger” and “Salmon”everything was delicious! One remark to staff, educate more your waitress about menu, it’s hard to make a decision what to order if you not familiar with Belgium cuisine. PS. The problem is finding the parking in Cincinnati downtown specifically in Saturday night. I parked on the street and paid 5$ for two hours which is not bad.
Leonid B — Google review
I went to the one in Oakley and got the Black Bean burger with breakfast it was mushy and uncooked or edible. Nice atmosphere. I went to the one on the banks and waited one hour for my food only for me to go to the register and they said my ticket didn’t get sent back to the kitchen. Waited another 30 min for my salmon dinner for $23.00. My salmon was 3oz after I weighed it on a food scale at home. So $23 for 3oz salmon and vegetable mix.

The menu features indulgent dishes with names like Walk of Shame and Kick In The Crotch, catering to college students' tastes. Despite its collegiate atmosphere, the restaurant impresses with its delicious and generously portioned offerings. It serves breakfast and lunch alongside a full bar every day, making it a popular spot for young hangover-stricken students.
Stopped in for breakfast one morning in April. We were seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We enjoyed the pancakes, eggs, and chicken & waffles - everything was properly prepared and seasoned. Would visit again.

This was a tasty experience. I’ve heard positive reviews about this place, so it peaked my curiosity. The chorizo is phenomenal! It’s housemade. Would recommend for a late Saturday morning brunch.

Possibly the best breakfast cocktail I've ever had and I've drank several in my lifetime! Bourbon based and perfectly balanced. The hash was so tender and full of flavor. We loved it and will return for sure! Tobias went above and beyond!

Great place for breakfast as the three of us all enjoyed our meal. Eating area is spacious and clean. Food was tasty and filling. Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was just okay - Cincinnati’s flavors are unique, not amazing. I think depending on where you sit, you’ll smell sewer. We requested to be moved to a booth and we could no longer smell the sewer (or whatever it was). I was also annoyed with the service.
Crystal F — Google review
This was such a good brunch spot find!!! They had incredible, unique options along with some classics. The food came out fast, service was friendly, and the food was so flavorful and delicious. Truly loved our experience! 1000% recommend the Hoe Benny!!!!

This may be my favorite brunch spot on the planet and we have a thing for brunch. When we travel, we hit brunch spots and this place may have ruined us for anywhere else. Our server Merabti was outstanding, drinks never came close to empty, friendly and fast and he recommended the pollo party which wasn’t even on my radar but I am glad he did. We are coming back tomorrow.

Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati, The Echo is a beloved local spot that has been serving up comfort food and drinks since 1945. Run by husband-and-wife team Nate and China Kautz, the restaurant offers a diverse menu that includes breakfast sandwiches with Filipino-fusion twists like the Lolo and the Porter. The California Omelet, filled with avocado, bacon, and cream cheese, is a popular choice for brunch.
I’ve been here a couple times and absolutely loved it. It’s a good place to get a hearty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. The food is good, the service is outstanding and despite the place being a bit cramped at time it’s cozy. I particularly recommend this one thing I had that I think was called the Flying Pig. It was ham and swiss on french toast, and while that sounds weird it was absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out if you can.

Group of 16 of us post graduation. Wonderful meal. Excellent and attentive staff. Nice location. Anxious to return!

A throwback mid-century diner in Hyde Park Square area. How is it that I have never eaten here before? Arrived at 11:30 for an early lunch to ensure getting a table without a wait. Lucked out and got metered parking right in front. Service was friendly and my sandwich platter hit the spot. The lunch counter is cool and they even have shirts for sale. You know you are a special restaurant when you have your own merch!
Ken G — Google review
This diner hits all the high notes and none of the low marks. Clean, friendly, fast, great food. This was a hit in our travels. Highly recommend the special toasts and the red, white, and blueberries dish. Don't skip this one!
Sarah M — Google review
9/11/25 After a hospital visit, my husband and I stopped at Echo for breakfast. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce and the country boy style. Both tasted good and were prepared well. My husband had Steph’s Sampler and added bananas and chocolate chips as toppings, though we later found out that came with an extra charge. The pancakes themselves were okay, but a little underwhelming. The staff were very friendly and polite, and I appreciated how quickly we were served, and able to get out. The place is very mom and pop feel. Overall, it was a decent breakfast and convenient stop, but nothing that stood out enough for me to want to make a return visit.
World T — Google review
A sweet little place tucked in amongst the buildings located in Hyde Park was definitely a find!!! Just a small diner with alot of old charm. From the time we arrived to being seated was a short wait and the staff was so very friendly including our amazing waitress Tina which all made for a great morning. We enjoyed the Baked Caramel apple French toast, omelet w/ homefries, Steph's sampler and the Hot Mess. Highly recommend as your next breakfast hot spot! Arrive early as the line can easily run out the door and up the sidewalk, but it's definitely worth the wait!
Sherry M — Google review
This place has a great diner feel and the staff made me feel like a local! Stephanie, the owner, told us all about the lore of the restaurant which was great fun. Our server Asia was super helpful and attentive. The food was so good too! We got the Hot Mess which was a pile of deliciousness.
Brent A — Google review
Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Me and my fiancé stopped here before we got back on the highway to head home, glad they were open as a lot of places were closed due to it being Monday. We parked, paid and went right in and seated ourselves. Our waitress was attentive and got to us pretty quick. The best potato cakes I’ve ever had! We will be back in Cincy and back to the echo

Sugar n' Spice Restaurant - OTR is a charming 1941 diner that exudes a vintage atmosphere. It has been a beloved spot for over 75 years, attracting a diverse clientele including after-church crowds, college students, and hospital workers. The menu features homestyle cooking such as burgers, omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, steak and eggs, corned beef hash, and breakfast quesadillas.
One of the best brunch spots in the city. Excellent breakfast spread including goetta, wonderful pancakes and breakfast burritos/sandwiches. They also serve a delightful lunch menu with diner classics like Patty Melts and fries. Always a hit with family and friends I bring downtown.

I loved this diner for the the breakfast. Lots to choose from the menu. Recommended for kids as well. The plates are huge, we could have shared a meal if we weren't that hungry. From the greater to the staff, everyone was friendly. A must go to if your visiting.
Kay B — Google review
The food and service was amazing! There was a small wait on Sunday morning but nothing outrageous. The menu has something for everyone. The food was cooked to perfection and every one in our group ate every bit of food we had. Our server was amazing! She was super attentive and took great care of us. The only knock was that it was super loud in the restaurant. You could barely understand what someone across the table from you was saying. Kudos to the staff for being able to hear every order with it being that loud!
CJ — Google review
Unreal Bang for Buck! The food was great. Highly recommend adding the Goetta to your meal. I had never heard of it, but it’s a fun local flair. Definitely want to try the Goetta Benedict in the future. Pancakes were great, love that the recipe has been around for almost a century, along with the syrup. Potatoes were perfect too! The vibe is super fun for kids as well. A fun hint of nostalgia, plus they get to take home a rubber duck.

This is a cute old school diner. I enjoyed the fun atmosphere and appearance of it. The waitress was nice. They were pretty busy, we were there about 10:30 on a saturday morning. I had a breakfast burrito. It was pretty good. But pretty big! Definitely dont need that much food for breakfast! Overall I enjoyed the experience.

Flea & Street Markets
Findlay Market is a vibrant and historic destination in Cincinnati, renowned for its diverse array of vendors offering everything from fresh produce to unique ethnic delicacies. As Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market, it boasts over 50 stalls that showcase the region's culinary heritage.
A historic market that has transformed from a weekend farmer’s gathering into a lively indoor marketplace. Lots of variety, from fresh produce to unique shops — even found a handmade wonton spot. Worth a visit if you’re in Cincinnati.
Jacques L — Google review
This place has meats, desserts, produce and even live plants. I recommend going early to avoid the crowd. It seemed to have a very nice traffic flow. It is indoor and outdoor. I hear the bars are very nice as well.
Elijah L — Google review
Findlay Market is truly one of the must-see places in Cincinnati. It perfectly captures the city’s history, culture, and community spirit all in one spot. The moment you walk in, you can feel the charm of the past blending with the energy of today — the old brick buildings, colorful vendor stands, fresh food aromas, and friendly local buzz create an amazing atmosphere. This isn’t just a market — it’s an experience. You’ll find everything from fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, and baked goods to flowers, coffee, and handmade crafts. The outdoor stalls and street musicians make it even more lively, especially on weekends when the place comes to life with music, food, and smiling faces. What I love most is that it supports local farmers and small businesses. Every vendor here seems genuinely passionate about what they do, and the quality of products really stands out. Prices are fair, and everything feels authentic and full of character. There are also plenty of cozy cafés and restaurants nearby, making it easy to relax with a coffee after exploring. Parking can get a bit crowded at peak times, but arriving early makes everything smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, Findlay Market is a beautiful mix of history, local flavor, and community warmth. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Cincinnati, this place is absolutely worth the stop! 🌿🧺

adorable and historical! one of my favorite spots to visit in cincy. such a variety of great food, the investment into local food and access in connecting vendors to the community is really amazing to see. if you have the means to do so, why not shop local? i haven’t gotten to try everything yet, but i love blue oven bakery every time. their focaccia is lovely!

Well if you are a foodie and in Cincinnati then it’s a MUST STOP😊🥟🤷‍♂️😉 the people are gentle and kind, music is abound on weekends and definitely stay awhile. Stay hungry my friends!

This place is incredible! They have so much variety and so many different vendors to shop at! My husband and I went on a Saturday morning and it was packed full but the lines went pretty quick. We only had to wait in a few lines for 5 minutes max. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Bryanna M — Google review
Favorite thing to do in downtown cincinnati. I love how there’s fresh produce and meat. Make sure you park close or in Findlay market parking. OTR is not the safest area. We loved our sandwiches for lunch. Water is only free at the bar, everywhere else is 50 cents. I love all the stores, including a vintage clothing store. Such a fun place in Cincy

Additionally, the pop-up Cackleberry offers eggy breakfast sandwiches with Queen City staples and Filipino-fusion ingredients from its vintage trailer.
I went to breakfast here on my way out of town. Super clean and staff was super friendly. Brunch was also reasonably priced. Great menu options. I wish the breakfast place I go to with my family twice/month in my own hometown were this good.

Maplewood had a pretty solid atmosphere. The food was ok, not great. Service was fast. If you are looking for a quick brunch spot it’s pretty solid. Avocado BLT: 4/5 Burger: 4/5

Walk up and order and they’ll come find you. Water station with old milk jugs to fill up for your table (brilliant). I got the Mediterranean bowl with salmon- DELICIOUS + filling but not super heavy. My mom got the avocado toast and it was really good too (can’t go too wrong with an avocado toast everrrr). The atmosphere was bright, clean and comfortable. TVs to watch if you’re there alone. Cool bar seating too!

This was an outstanding experience all around. They were very accommodating of our large group (7) and found us a great table. The food was excellent, service was outstanding, and the ambiance was perfect.

YOU CAN sell CLEAN HEALTHY food at a competitive price! Grab a menu and order at the counter, seat yourself with a number, and collect your own water as much as you need. The costs saved here helps provide higher QUALITY ingredients for the customer. Organic, cage free, grass fed, local, and locally roasted coffee... they've got it. If you're health conscious and value what you put inside your body, this is your spot. Everything I had was honestly delicious. I will be back here and I assume anything else will also be a banger. I ordered: Cappuccino (add the maple syrup from the pancakes to sweeten, it's local too) Beet and Orange juice (bottled) SIDE of Lemon ricotta pancakes - side is a stack of 2 pancakes (ask for extra compote) Chicken club sandwich Goetta This was PLENTY of food for 2 people. Everything was delicious and surpassed my expectations. Service was very friendly and polite. Don't sleep on this place. It's healthy, exceptional value, delicious, and highly instagrammable if you're into that. Just go.

I cannot believe how unique fresh and delicious are is the plate of Chiliquiles! Like in Mexico, each town, each restaurant, have their own special recipes. Que maravilloso! Halfway through before I thought to take a pic. Whoops? So good! And Triniti at the bar is always so pleasant and makes great cocktails!
Randal R — Google review
This place has a cool aesthetic but for us that's where the vibes ends. Be prepared to wait in a long line to order. The food came pretty quickly but frankly was not good. It was bland. My mimosa was decent but my partners bloody mary was a little dissapointing. All in all, I would classify this spot as mid-leagues. It is not worth a repeat visit for me.
Kay — Google review
Food was delicious, and staff was very friendly. It was very busy but they cleared tables quickly. The lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious. The chopped salad was hearty and filling. The espresso martini had cinnamon on top which really put it over the top! Would highly recommend this place!!

Otto's is a charming American bistro located in Covington, Kentucky, offering a refined and intimate dining experience. The restaurant is known for its delightful brunch featuring unique twists on classic dishes, such as the Eggs Benedict served on a cheesy bacon grit cake with country ham. The cozy interior adorned with local art and eclectic salt and pepper shakers creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meal.
Loved the ambience, food and ofcourse the detailing of the interiors as well. It is a good blend of artsy, elevated, chic design with beautiful details! Perfect for a date night with great food options. Their fried green tomatoes is the best I’ve ever had! We had the berry salad and the pork chop and the pork chop was pretty good! Our server was Anya and she was wonderful and so was the rest of the staff, were friendly and accommodating and had the best recommendations!

Otto's elevates the dining experience with its inviting atmosphere and a menu bursting with fresh, flavorful dishes. The food is beautifully presented, featuring a variety of fresh and flavorful options. The Brie Berry Salad is a standout, with its mix of grapes, brie, and blueberries complemented by caramelized pecans. The Burrata dish, served with roasted cherry tomatoes and garlic, is rich and satisfying, especially with the toasted baguette. The Chicken Salad sandwich with candied pecans and mixed greens is a tasty choice, paired perfectly with sweet potato fries. The menu also includes creative specials like the Seared Salmon with Thai chili sauce. Eric’s exceptional service made the meal even more enjoyable. A must-visit!

We went here off of a recommendation from family. We can see why. It was comfort food with a New Orleans twist. I enjoyed the Cajun pasta dish. I love how the chicken was shredded, you could taste the freshness of the vegetables, and the sauce was gravy-like and creamy. My fiancé had the braised short ribs which was tender, it said it reminded him of home mama used to make. There was a hint of nostalgia in each dish. The fried green tomatoes a tasty appetizer to begin with. It is a quaint, little place. It can be a little loud. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and inattentive at times, but overall that doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

Went to Otto's for an early Halloween dinner. We were seated right away and the service was great throughout. They have a great bourbon and beer menu. The place has a great atmosphere. Everything we had was terrific. The cornbread, flatbread , and tomato soup were all fantastic. The short ribs were split up for us and were so tender and delicious. The veggies, mashed potatoes, and the gravy were amazing. Loved our time there.

Chat GPT had directed us here on Saturday the 4th. The food was great! My son and I each had the Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. Annie M was very attentive, kind and had a very happy face. For everyone, actually. I just wanted to say how pleased and surprised we were with how good everything was. And I also wanted to compliment Annie M.

Squash curry soup! Cornbread! Pan seared bone-in pork chop!! Braised shortrib!!! Carrot cake! Best short rib in the area and the jus - wow! Great service. The place is a little loud but will definitely be back.

Otto’s has been a Covington staple since 2003, and it’s easy to see why. I had the filet, cooked perfectly and elevated by an incredible blue cheese sauce that tied everything together. My wife’s sea scallops were buttery, fresh, and seared to perfection. The service was friendly, the atmosphere warm and welcoming — the kind of classic spot that’s been doing things right for over 20 years. We’ll definitely be back.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday, likely not the best time in terms of service, but we were served relatively quickly given the time, and the food was delicious. I joined the clean plate club. Bathrooms are one seaters; there's a big one upstairs.

Located in downtown Cincinnati, Sleepy Bee Cafe is a popular breakfast spot with multiple locations across the city. The cafe offers a cozy and bright space with a focus on serving local non-GMO foods and bee-friendly practices. Their menu features classic breakfast options like omelets, pancakes, bacon, as well as more unique offerings such as tofu scramble, vegan sausages, and ginger coconut sweet potato soup.
This restaurant deserves the title of “the BEST IN CINCINNATI”. Chill and bright atmosphere. Always packed, very popular. Pancakes were huge and fluffy . Even the gluten-free pancakes came out fluffy and very tasty. don’t forget the syrup and other sauce they added to the various pancakes. they were delicious to the core and ingredients are all sourced locally. Avo toast were unique, came with so much healthier ingredients. Sandwiches stacked high and yummy. I was full on half of it. Definitely can be shared. We also like the puréed seasonal soup and all the coffee drinks. Service was SUPER … down to earth attitude, knowledgeable of the items on menu, friendly and efficient. Value: worth every penny. Reasonable for the quality of the ingredients you can get here.

One of my favorite places to go since I started eating out regularly. Extremely relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, kind and more than accommodating staff, and above all a great menu. If you prefer straight forward and delicious food without needing to overthink your choice, you'll appreciate the one and a half page menu where every option I've tried has been delicious. Great breakfast spot especially!

We had an amazing experience here. The service was welcoming, and we didn't have to wait long to get to our table. The food was good. I wish they had fresh strawberries for the pancake, as most pancake places do. The coffees were great, especially the latte. We would highly recommend this spot, but be prepared to wait for a table, especially on weekends.

This was the perfect fresh breakfast I’ve been searching for. Food was delicious, staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. The “Bee Cake” pancakes piqued my interest and my waitress was happy to explain. Basically, it’s a gluten free pancake made with honey and pollen that helps the dough raise like a “normal” pancake. However it had a surprisingly familiar mouth feel and a welcomed nutty flavor! Couldn’t be happier! The breakfast sandwich I got was also delicious and fresh. Truly enjoyed this breakfast so much, I might say it’s the best part of the whole city!

First time coming to this place and will never return. It was slightly busy but waiters were just standing around talking to each other. We had to go up to a server to be put on the waitlist and they had told us it’s about a 10-15 minute wait, turned out to be 25-30. Finally got sat and the waitress that was her first day today was very polite and gave us water (she was doing amazing!), our actual waitress took our drink order and didn’t bring out the actual drinks til 10-15 minutes later. I’m assuming smoothies shouldn’t be room temp and melted, she took our food order the same time as drinks and they had been sitting in the window for quite a bit of time. The eggs weren’t hot anymore and had a rubbery texture to them, the potatoes were started to taste cold. Our waitress had only checked up on us once and felt like she was ignoring our table while talking to her coworkers more. Payed a total of 44 dollars just to enjoy warm smoothies and rubbery eggs, Atleast the place was pretty and aesthetic. Our waitresses name was Alejandra R.

Amazing place! We walked into the Sleepy Bee in downtown Cincinnati and, after a short 15-minute wait, got our table. Atmosphere was busy and vibrant, with perfect lighting, cozy, modern, and full of energy. It’s truly the perfect spot for a Saturday late brunch. Our server, Sophia, was wonderful, kind, informative, and full of joy. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was thrilled to see so many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options on the menu. Honestly, it’s a 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be coming back probably a hundred times! Don’t miss this gem!

Unfortunately this place did not come near to satisfying our party of 4. We each ordered a meal that was subpar. Our “chorizo” meals did not have typical “chorizo”, just plain breakfast sausage in the scrambled eggs and burrito. When we inquired about the strange choice of “chorizo”, their response was different areas use different sausage as their chorizo. WTH kind of response was that? In that case just put breakfast sausage in your menu item descriptions, not “chorizo”. The food was subpar and took a long time to come out to our table as we watched it just getting dryer and dryer on the kitchen counter. Unfortunately, the food and the service equal in their subpar nature. We had to ask for water, creamers, sugars for coffee, etc. We will definitely never be going back. The ONLY good thing was the oatmeal I ordered. We had to order another one to go so my wife could eat something satisfying. In total, we had pancakes, burritos, scrambled “chorizo” eggs, egg and bacon platter, and oatmeal. Overall review would be a 1 out of 10.

Love sleepy bee, but got takeout from this location and the quality was terrible. Each meal had only TWO potatoes as a side. TWO! The potatoes are my favorite part, and they came unseasoned, with none of the promised sauce. I’d recommend going somewhere else, unless you want to be ripped off.

The Baker's Table is a charming dining destination known for its stylish ambiance and locally sourced cuisine, including vegan options. Chef David Willocks' dedication to seasonality and northern Kentucky ingredients has earned the restaurant accolades as one of the best new restaurants in the nation. The establishment offers ever-changing tasting menus in a cozy dining room in Newport, while also operating a bakery across the street.
We did the duck and Burgundy wine dinner and it was delicious! The food, ambiance, and service was great! We also did the wine pairing and found each of the four wines to be unique and paired well with each food item. I find myself thinking about some of the food still - amazing!

My wife and I recently moved to Northern Kentucky and were absolutely thrilled to discover The Baker's Table in Newport, Kentucky! From the moment we walked in, Rachel, Jake, and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. It's fantastic to find such a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant in our new area. We opted for the Chef's Tasting Menu with the Non-Alcoholic Drink pairing, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Each dish was a unique work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. One of the mocktails, featuring Carrot and Chrysanthemum, was so refreshing and delicious we joked about wanting a whole pitcher to enjoy on our deck at home! While every course was outstanding, the lamb ragu was a definite highlight. The flavors and textures were phenomenal, and the inclusion of what they called "lamb bacon" was truly one of the most delicious things I've tasted in a long time! What we also appreciated was that despite the high quality of the dining experience, the atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. Even the background music had songs that made us smile and added an easy-going vibe. The intimate setting made us feel connected rather than lost in a large, bustling space. The staff was attentive and genuinely responsive to our needs. It's clear that The Baker's Table is a business that prioritizes sustainable practices and truly cares about the quality of their ingredients and the people they serve. We loved hearing the stories behind the beverages and the inspiration for each dish, and the fact that the menu changes monthly based on seasonal availability is something we greatly appreciate. Our first experience at The Baker's Table was truly memorable, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly, highly recommended!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect rehearsal dinner than the one we had at The Baker's Table! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was nothing short of enchanting. The attention to detail in every corner of the restaurant added to the intimate, warm atmosphere that made the evening so special. The food was truly exceptional! Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and thoughtful combinations. Our guests were raving about every course, and I honestly don’t think there was a bite left on anyone’s plate! What made the night even more memorable was the impeccable service. The team at The Baker's Table went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. From assisting with our unique requests to making sure everyone was taken care of without skipping a beat, we were truly impressed. They made us feel like family, ensuring that our rehearsal dinner was seamless and stress-free. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the evening because we knew we were in the best hands possible. We couldn’t be more grateful to The Baker's Table for making our rehearsal dinner such a magical, unforgettable night.

Didn't pat for it, so I can not speak on the price, but everything off the menu was good. Drinks were good, too. Easy and quick service. The salmon and beet seems like a weird combination but was surprisingly good. The gnocchi has the best texture. Some of the best gnocchi I've had**. Very light. Steak was good, although I have had better. [Medium Rare] The pumpkin cheesecake was also delicious. Good balance of flavor and not being heavy consideriflng what it is. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special event! The food was absolutely delicious- we tried every dish on the menu and there wasn’t a single one that wasn’t incredible! Our server Jasmine, bartender Jake, and sommelier Ryan, as well as the rest of the staff, worked seamlessly together to provide a really great experience. The owner Dave came out to introduce himself- it’s always a good sign when the owner gets his hands dirty (metaphorically) and works with the staff to do what needs to be done. Absolutely cannot wait to come back and try a whole new round of dishes next season!

$$$$ be financially ready, Real nice opportunity Monday morning to stop in with my lovely bride as we sat and talked about the future growing old together and spending so much time with each other. The food was great just ordered eggs extra cold bacon and toast. Nice breakfast diner would like it if they were more booths that were comfortable and cozy but I understand all the seating can get people in and out fast. Just one drawback holy smoke the price was through the roof my wife had two eggs scrambled bacon and sausage with a coffee I had three eggs over easy extra bacon and coffee with a side of toast and it was with tip $55. Inflation does not explain this insane price. Seriously five single eggs if they were a dollar each would be five dollars Coffee literally not that much because it wasn’t that good bacon and sausage give it another five dollars. That’s $10 retail price and you charge $55? Holy smoke I have never paid that much for a simple breakfast in my entire life and probably never will again

We waited for quite a while (with our large party) to be seated, because it was so packed, and by no fault of anyone there. But it was so worth it for the delicious brunch we all enjoyed! Everything has always been great at First Watch. We use the app to get in line which saves time. Servers are friendly and attentive and work to make your experience positive. The food was the issue today. We decided to try the new maple bacon croissant sandwich. Unfortunately there was NO bacon on the sandwich. We had to flag down our server who promptly got the bacon for us to add. The sandwich was really good once we had the bacon to add.

I just moved in a couple months ago and am pleased to say that the leasing team was great to work with. The maintenance team has been very responsive already to a few minor fixes. The leasing/management staff have all been very courteous, patient and friendly with my move-in questions (there were quite a few). Very pleased so far with my unit and the property. I'm sure it will be even better during the summer months.

Madison was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the property when she showed me around. She ensured to let me know of all the details when showing me multiple units, helped me orient myself, and was beyond welcoming. She also told me about the surrounding area and gave me some pointers on things to do. The dreadful lease signing process was quite the opposite of dreadful with Madison as well. It went so smoothly and did not take much time at all! I am looking forward to being a part of this community. Edit: After moving in the staff has been absolutely wonderful. Initial maintenance requests have been serviced so quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this property to anyone moving to Cincinnati in a heartbeat. Edit: After living here for a year I am updating my review to say I could not be happier. I have renewed my lease for another year. Maintenance requests are fulfilled so quickly and the building manager Keith goes way out of his way to be helpful to residents. The location is amazing with so many things to do around the building and the community is great here. Receiving mail and packages is extremely secure and the building has a great level of safety.

I moved here from Utah about two months ago and Sasha Crawford was absolutely amazing to work with. She showed me over 5 apartments (as I was very indecisive) multiple times over a couple of days. She answered all of my emails and phone calls quickly and always found answers to my questions. Once I moved in she has been extremely friendly and has gone out of her way to reach out to me and help out with anything I have needed since moving here. 10/10 recommend speaking with her and living at Current!!
Emily Y — Google review
Moved out so I can finally give my review. After living here for 13 months I was so relieved I was finally able to move out! Apartments are definitely not luxury you were able to tell they weren’t even painted correctly, there’s lots of paint splash on the cabinets. My apartment constantly needed maintenance. Although I was on a lease for 1,700 on a ONE bedroom you get charged fees that add up to and extra $200 to your monthly payment I was paying almost 2000 monthly apart from parking fee $150( through Parkade app) and light bill $60-100. They also charge for trash valet which is Sunday - Thursday but LIES! They will mostly skip some days without a notice to tenants. What made me move out is that your monthly rent will get higher and management won’t say why. Management is the WORST they never reply and if you call the office they will say they’ll call you back but expect no reply from the people in the management. They are only nice to you throughout your moving in days but after that they won’t want to help with any problems you might be having. The worst part is they will enter your apartment without your consent! How disgusting!! I was asleep when a man just walked in with a key on his hand saying he was checking something for the apartments. How unlawfully is that! I never requested maintenance and I would have appreciated a notice! Yes the location is great for young people. This is not a place where a family would live! Elevators will constantly smell horrible beer+ cigarettes + marijuana! There’s no cameras in the parking garage my car was damaged several times but since basically anyone can enter it’s basically a you problem. If you live here please check what your paying monthly since they tend to add fees for no reason! Horrible people in the front office! They should pay attention to their tenants if they want them to extend their lease!

This place is great and the location is nothing short of AMAZING. If you want to be in the middle of the action and not need a car for anything, look no further. The office staff is very nice and the maintenance fixing things promptly. The street outside is permanently closed off to vehicular traffic and is right next to the baseball stadium. The football stadium is just 1/2 mile away. This place is party central. I have a unit facing away from the street so I never hear any noise at all.

The Precinct By Jeff Ruby is an elegant and upscale steakhouse located in Columbia-Tusculum. Housed in a historic building that used to be the Cincinnati Police Department's Sixth Precinct, the restaurant offers handcrafted steaks and seafood dishes along with a selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. Despite its sophistication, The Precinct maintains a neighborhood feel, inviting patrons to purchase Jeff Ruby's steaks for home cooking.
We visited Jeff Ruby’s Precinct last night to celebrate my birthday, and as always, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My family and I dine here several times a year, usually with a party of 8 to 14 people, and each visit is consistently outstanding. Last night we were seated in the main dining area, and our server Charlie provided top-tier service from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening seamless and enjoyable. In addition, Dakota, Brandon, and Chad each went out of their way to ensure every detail was perfect truly a team effort that elevated the experience. The food was phenomenal, as expected Jeff Ruby’s always delivers the highest quality in both cuisine and ambiance. Five-star service all the way around. Highly recommend for any special occasion or an unforgettable night out.

A business partner came in town and he was excited to get back to The Precinct. It was a great night of fantastic food and phenomenal service. We were seated right away and started off with two orders of the Jumbo shrimp. The raw bar is one of the best things this restaurant offers, don't skip it. Our steaks were delivered to perfection and the Lobster Mac n Cheese is a must!! We were surprised with a dessert delivered to us which was called in by a friend that knew we were dining there. Again, delicious and we were extremely happy and full!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Due to location, valet is the only convenient parking option. The history and architecture of this building is awe-inspiring. The interior design is inviting and perfect for groups, families, & couples. The chandeliers, stained glass windows and the red velvet-lined booths, bring class to this former Cincinnati Police Precinct building. The service is top-notch. Servers are dressed in suit and tie, and they are very knowledgeable as would be expected in such a fine dining restaurant. The food is amazing. You will not find a better selection of steaks in the area. Jeff Ruby only offers the finest meat. The homemade bread, salads, sides, steaks and desserts are all delicious.

As high end places go this is one of the best. It also has tremendous value. The prices are better than. Some of the other places I've been, with sides included. The crown jewel of Cincinnati steakhouses, the original and undeniably one of the best. The hatchet steak was prepared to perfection, and even as someone who isn't fond of seafood, I found the crab cake to be exceptional. Both the wedge and Greek salads were ideal accompaniments. Adding to the experience, the old-fashioned cocktail was superb, and the gold air ruby dessert—a delightful combination of mousse, chocolate cake, toffee balls, topped with raspberry cognac whipped cream and scotch caramel—was the perfect finale to a memorable birthday celebration.

Couldn't have picked a better spot in Cincinnati for my parent's 50th anniversary. The definition of Hospitality from when we exited our cars with the valet attendants to the hosts when we entered, and the team who served our party at the table. Not snobby or pretentious, the staff is very warm and personable. They engaged with our little ones, made honest recommendations on food and wine, and they made my mom and dad feel special on their special night. SUPER TIP FOR MORE WINE AND DESSERT!!! Split plate. I had no idea we could, but it is amazing. They prepare wonderful split plates. My wife and I split a steak Burrow and I ordered a separate salad. All the steaks are amazing. You cant lose. The mac and cheese is famous for a reason. The best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. The smokiness, the mouth feel, the flavor. Best part was they weren't dry and overcooked. Perfection. The butter pie was so good. I'm glad for the split plate. Easy to see why this place has so much history and success. The steak delivered that signature char flavor, the people and rooms create a wonderful experience, and the history is literally on every wall. Italian restaurant
Sotto is a basement dining spot in Cincinnati known for its austere brick-and-wood interior and inventive rustic Italian cuisine. It has been recognized for delivering an exemplary dining experience with great food, thoughtful service, and an elegant atmosphere. The well-edited menu features high-quality ingredients treated with the utmost respect, and the servers are knowledgeable about wine pairings. One of their must-try desserts is the airy ricotta donuts served with three delicious sauces for dipping.
Took my wife for our 5 year anniversary. This place checks every box! The service was excellent with everyone making us feel welcomed without being overbearing. The food itself was DIVINE and all cooked to perfection! It is a little on the pricey side but it's well worth it compared to other offerings I the city. It's easy to see why Sotto is on open tables top 100 list! Also, safe to say we'll be back!

After hearing some really good things about this place from locals I made reservations to stop in for dinner and give it a try. I didn’t know what to expect, thus didn’t know it was underground (Sotto means “Under” in Italian). It’s incredibly cozy, intimate, and dark down there with all tables having long candle sticks on them and various tea lights and candles all over to provide ambient lighting. The menu is filled with shareable items, especially a nice list of starters. Their pastas are all made fresh, in-house and have vibrant flavors, with their short rib filled pasta being incredible. Their fire roasted quail was seasoned nicely and cooker perfectly. Branzino is a nice, shareable size and done well too. Save room for dessert, their ricotta donuts were tender and came with some tasty sauces to dip them in. Service was decent, but could be a little more attentive and friendly. I get the feeling they are very popular and busy and know it, so you get what service they deliver. Would I come back? Definitely!

went for a birthday and it was amazing! the burrata was without a doubt the best appetizer i’ve ever had, and the octopus wasn’t far behind. the cappelacci was amazing, a little overhyped it seems but don’t let that statement fool you, it’s still a 5 star dish and absolutely worth ordering. the quail and branzino were both seasoned well and had a very nice spiciness to them. on top of that, ordered a panna cotta for dessert and they took the dessert off the bill for the birthday! zach our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable as well. would recommend to anyone!

We had an incredible experience at Sotto in Cincinnati! Miss Jordan took great care of us — she got us seated so quickly and made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. The food was top-notch from start to finish — especially the chicken liver mousse (rich, silky, and perfectly balanced) and those donuts… absolutely fabulous! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

Wow! My spouse and I went for my birthday. Our server Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and we had exceptional service the entire duration of our meal. The goat cheese bread was an excellent appetizer. I ordered the cappellacci and my husband ordered the tagliatelle con porcini, both phenomenal dishes with just the right amount of flavor. We also ordered the pork loin with the potatoes. These will not disappoint! They have options of many drinks, I ordered the Italian stallion, Absolutely delicious and my husband got a non alcoholic beverage, can't remember off the top of my head. Although we didn't have room for dessert I was pleasantly surprised with a delicious donut in salted caramel sauce. The perfect end to a perfect meal I HIGHLY recommend this amazing experience, especially for a romantic evening! Would definitely return!! Thank you for an amazing dinner 💜💜

Great place for Italian food in downtown Cincinnati. Everything was very delicious. Wood fired branzino was awesome in particular. You can’t go wrong with the goat cheese and hazelnut appetizer also. Fantastic presentation with the asparagus as well. Highly recommended you come here.

The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere in the underground restaurant with an open kitchen and sunken wine cellar was so cool!! The staff was all attentive and double checked with the kitchen when unsure about possible issues with my food allergy and found alternatives for me. They had a great wine list and lots of cocktail and NA options. I definitely recommend having a reservation.

Here’s your polished, professional-quality version of your Sotto review — keeping all your original observations and enthusiasm while refining flow, grammar, and tone. It reads smoothly and naturally for a Google or Yelp post: While visiting Cincinnati, Sotto quickly came up as a must-try spot and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. With a few last-minute calls, we managed to get a dinner reservation, and from the moment we arrived, the experience impressed. Descending the stairs and stepping through a door that feels pulled straight from an old Italian cottage, you’re immediately immersed in a warm, intimate atmosphere. The glow of real candlelight, the rich wood tones, and the cozy layout make Sotto feel timeless. Our server, Paxton, was fantastic attentive, personable, and great at walking us through the menu and making thoughtful recommendations. We started with the Black Kale Caesar, Fettunta, and Oil-Packed Tuna. Each dish was delicious the Caesar had crisp greens with a perfectly balanced dressing and crunchy breadcrumbs, while the tuna served with an egg over toasted bread was a standout. For mains, we ordered the Scottadito (Lamb Rack), Porterhouse, and Pappardelle al Cinghiale, along with sides of Broccolini, Patate, and Asparagus. Everything was incredible. The lamb was so tender and flavorful that it actually changed the mind of someone in our group who thought they didn’t like lamb it was that good. The Porterhouse, sliced and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, was tender and satisfying. The house-made pasta (you can actually see it being prepared in the back) was perfectly al dente, with a delicate sauce that let the wild boar shine. Of the sides, the Broccolini was the least exciting not bad by any means but the Asparagus with Ricotta Salata was flavorful, and the Patate (fingerling potatoes in a salsa verde) completely won me over. I’m still thinking about how to recreate them at home. For dessert, we shared the Dolce (Ricotta Doughnuts), Chocolate Budino, Sorbetti, and Panna Cotta. The Dolce is a highly recommended favorite and was quite good, though not my personal top pick. The Sorbetti was light and refreshing, but the Panna Cotta stole the show delicate, creamy, and beautifully paired with a berry compote. From start to finish, the meal and experience were wonderful. I’ll definitely return and bring friends next time I’m in Cincinnati.

It's well-loved by locals and visitors for its delicious southern comfort food, including pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, green beans, and mac n cheese. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a charming and inviting atmosphere.
We LOVED Eli’s BBQ. We were visiting from out of town and wanted something like local, hidden gem. Eli’s did not disappoint! The pulled pork and wings were delicious, and the hostess was knowledgeable and friendly! She recommended the smoked hot dog which we tried and loved! Highly recommend!!

This place is absolutely worth going out of your way for. The staff is welcoming, there was hardly any wait, and most importantly the food is phenomenal! The pulled pork was tender and juicy. The ribs are really unique. I've never had anything quite like this. They seem like they are made with a dry rub, cooked until perfectly tender, cut into single ribs, and then the sides are seared. It has a crisp almost like a very tender bacon. All the sides we tried were delicious. I've had a lot of disappointing mac and cheese from other restaurants. This was wonderfully gooey and cheesy. The jalapeno cornbread and jalapeno grits are amazing too. The place has a fantastic atmosphere with a pavilion next door with picnic table seating. This is the perfect place to enjoy dinner on a warm evening.

Oh, my Gawd! This place has great bbq! My brother and I went on a Wednesday on our way to KY and tried the hot dogs. So good we took our other brother the following Friday on our way back to Cleveland. Hot dogs with creamy slaw and pork crackling. Best hit dog ever. Tried the pulled pork sandwich too - excellent. Wouldn't know this place was here unless ypu heard about it or were looking for BBQ. Eli- nice place and great food. Enjoyed our food on the outdoor patio in the sun.

Great atmosphere, outdoor tent is a genius idea. I was a little disappointed with the ribs. They were dry and hard on top and cold. My fiance's pulled pork sandwich was very good. The coleslaw is not sweet, which is alright with me.

Really nice experience. Was great mashed potatoes. Coleslaw was really good on the pulled pork sandwich. The outdoor seating area was really nice. Not my favorite bbq sauce but was decent.

Great vibes, even better RIBS! This palce has outdoor seating, grass, perfect place for kids and dogs and families, or a fun date night. To say the food was DELICIOUS would be an understatement, Mac and cheese, jalapeno corn bread, the whole works was a hit with our family!

I have been going to this place for more than 10 years. One of the best BBQ places I’ve been to and the best in Cincinnati. They have delicious food and great outdoor seating. They added chicken wings with hot sauce to their menu and that has been my favorite since then. I really like their sides, especially the jalapeño grits and baked beans. No wonder they were ranked one of the best BBQ places in the country a few years ago.

Fine dining restaurant
Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse is an upscale, stylish restaurant known for its handcrafted steaks and seafood offerings. With an art-deco style, it has been a Cincinnati landmark for over 20 years and has attracted A-list patrons like Adam Sandler and Robert De Niro. The restaurant features a raw bar, live music lounge with a 1865 Steinway piano, and nationally acclaimed USDA Prime steaks.
I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Jeff Ruby's, and it was an unforgettable first-time experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the valet, every detail was thoughtfully executed with remarkable hospitality. Our server, Jason, delivered impeccable service—truly among the best I’ve ever encountered. He was not only highly professional and attentive but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, which elevated our dining experience even further. We reserved a private dining room for 18 guests. Though a few attendees canceled at the last minute, Jason handled the situation with grace and professionalism, gently reminding me of the contractual minimum in the most respectful manner. I genuinely appreciated his thoughtfulness in how he approached it. Everything—from the ambiance to the cuisine and service—was exceptional. I am already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend Jeff Ruby's to anyone seeking a special and sophisticated dining experience.

Jeff Ruby’s downtown Cincinnati location delivers an excellent culinary experience, impeccable service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot to celebrate life’s special moments. Dinner started with fresh bread smothered in signature truffle butter, which was delicious with the flavorful salad. The tender, juicy fillet was served with creamy mashed potatoes and tender asparagus. After dinner, a fantastic chocolate cake arrived with fresh blackberries and raspberries, encircled by a blended fresh fruit drizzle, accompanied by the rich, smooth flavor of vanilla bean ice cream.

Went here for the first time on a Saturday evening (party of 2). We had to reserve about 1.5 months in advance. This was one of the best steak meals we have ever had. The front of the house was so friendly and accommodating. Our servers were absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for more attentive and fun, friendly servers. We sat outside on the patio but the bar area with the elevated piano looked like a great time as well. There was live music the entire time we were there. Atmosphere is beautiful and intriguing everywhere you look. For drinks throughout the night, we had old fashioned, dirty martinis, and Tempranillo wine. All were perfect. Now onto the food… The very first thing they brought out, bread and butter was AMAZING. I couldn’t believe how good it was to be honest. We ordered the crab cake and pork belly for apps, then a Caesar salad, then the Miyazaki wagyu NY strip and a 12oz lobster tail. For sides we got the Tso green beans, Mac n chs, and Anna’s potatoes. All of the food was so good, but the wagyu was out of this world good. I can’t even explain how delicious it was, you just need to try it. We finished the meal with cheesecake and a cappuccino. The table next to us got the Air Ruby and it was literally a chocolate dessert shaped like an Air Jordan. It was one of the weirdest but most amazing desserts I’ve seen. We made friends and they let us try it. It was delicious. Overall this meal was a 10/10. I could go on and on. We could not have asked for a better night out. Can’t wait to go back.

Just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here on Tuesday the 30th of September. We had never been to Jeff Ruby’s or any restaurant like it in a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised as the hype was real. This was by far the best dining experience we have ever had. We were seated within minutes. The service was impeccable and our server Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! My wife enjoyed a Mulled Berry Mojito. The crab cakes we ordered for an appetizer were beyond delicious. I ordered a New York strip with garlic butter and a baked potato. My wife ordered the steak Collinsworth with baked Mac n cheese. Everything was perfect! Our entree’s came shortly after we finished our appetizers but long enough for us to talk and enjoy the atmosphere. After we finished our dinner our server brought us a wonderful dessert which was complimentary. We really did enjoy every moment together here and it could not have been a more enjoyable experience! All the food was amazing but I highly recommend the crab cakes.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! We hosted a large group, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special. The food was exceptional, as always. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and every side dish was delicious. What really stood out most was the hospitality — attentive, professional, and warm. Planning a celebration for a big group can be stressful, but the team made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Jeff Ruby’s for making my milestone birthday so memorable. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough for special occasions or an outstanding night out!

Listen, I’ve eaten some good meals in my life, but whatever the hell happened inside Jeff Ruby’s Speakeasy that Friday night was basically a religious experience with cocktails. Our crew of 8 rolled in for our annual baseball trip — we clean up just enough to pass for “gentlemen,” but let’s be honest, we’re a traveling pack of loudmouths who argue about who should’ve bunted in the 7th inning of a 2003 Tigers game. Somehow, they still gave us a private room. Bold move, Jeff Ruby’s. The place looks like Sinatra and Elvis opened a casino in Heaven. Gold trim, velvet everywhere, and chandeliers that probably cost more than my car. They even customized the menus with the Cincinnati Reds logo — so of course, we felt like VIPs who just signed multi-million dollar contracts. And I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to Maggie Rixson, who set the whole thing up for us. Maggie is an absolute rockstar — made sure our group was taken care of from start to finish, and somehow made us look more sophisticated than we actually are. She’s the kind of person who could organize a dinner for the Rolling Stones and still remember your drink order. The food? Unreal. The steaks were so tender I considered proposing. The mac and cheese might have violated several laws of physics. Every side dish slapped harder than a Reds fastball, and by dessert — a chilled Reds cake masterpiece — we were ready to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” in harmony. The staff? Absolute legends. They were everywhere — like stealth ninjas with wine bottles, making sure no glass ever saw the bottom. I swear at one point they refilled my bourbon telepathically. And I’ve got to give credit where it’s due — my friend Jamie highly recommended Jeff Ruby’s, and she was absolutely right. This place isn’t just dinner; it’s an event. When the night ended, we didn’t just leave full. We left changed. I’m pretty sure one guy in our group achieved enlightenment somewhere between the filet and the crème brûlée. Five stars. Would sell a kidney to go back.

A true, raw gem that captured my heart and we will be forever customers and come visit Cincinnati just to come to this restaurant. They even personalized the menu, I can’t say enough positive words about this place that is surreal. Thank you to all he amazing team at Jeff Rubys for making my boyfriend’s 50th birthday memorable! Don’t forget to ask for the best dessert you’ll ever eat in your life.

My family and I were fortunate enough to eat dinner here last night to celebrate our late father's first heavenly birthday and it was the best meal we have ever had. Our server, Michael, was absolutely incredible and he helped make this experience a 100/10. Bawe, the director of hospitality and experiences, was exceptional and stopped in to check on us as did the restaurant front manager whose name is slipping my mind. We were delighted to meet Jeff Ruby and hear about his connection to our Dad, who used to work for Jeff back in the day at one his restaurants. We have never had a more hospitable experience at a restaurant and the food was divine. I will dream about the lobster gnocchi and crab cake, which was the best I have ever had. We will be back!

The Eagle OTR is a popular eatery and beer hall located in the historic Over-the-Rhine district. It's known for its perfectly crisp and juicy fried chicken, which is served with classic Southern sides like mac and cheese, spoonbread, succotash, coleslaw, white cheddar grits, collard greens, and tender biscuits drizzled with hot and spicy house honey.
Alright let’s get one thing straight: when a server says “this is my favorite app on the menu,” you order that app. These hush puppies were absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy and the sauce the came with was a nice blend of sweet and tangy. Location was great, and overall, it felt affordable. If you can, sit in the outdoor beer garden. Prime people-watching spot

My family raved about The Eagle OTR, so the next time we were in town, they took me to try the fried chicken. I ordered the BBQ Pork Burnt Ends as an appetizer and two pieces of chicken with collard greens as my side. First, the burnt ends were tasty. The sauce was sweet and enhanced the flavor of the meat. When my dinner came, I started with the side dish, as I always do. If a restaurant takes the time to create delicious side dishes, you know the main course is going to be great as well. My collard greens were good, but a bit under-seasoned for my tastebuds. I would have preferred more pepper, but I can't ding the rating over a personal preference. The chicken itself was underwhelming. I give it a 3.5 rating while the appetizer and side dish were a solid 4.0. The service was good despite the place being packed with more guests waiting outside. All in all, The Eagle is a nice place to enjoy a meal.

We relocated from Houston to Ohio for work, and The Eagle OTR was highly recommended by a colleague. As a disclaimer I’m from Houston and am accustomed to having a plethora of dining options, of which all are delicious. I ordered collard greens, mac and cheese and of course fried chicken as the menu was limited in protein options. The greens were underwhelming and lacked seasoning and spice. The cheese used for the mac and cheese was far too strong for mac and cheese and needed smoked gouda to balance the flavor of the dish. The fried chicken was under seasoned but fried to perfection. The spoon bread was the star of the show. The atmosphere was welcoming and very chill. The drinks were strong and our server was attentive and friendly. It’s a good place to have a southern meal if you don’t know any better. I was raised on real southern cuisine so for me it didn’t meet the mark

Nice historic looking place with good service. I was told the hot honey chicken was a must so thats what I ordered. Honestly it was pretty average. The hot honey did make it better but it was just okay to me.

Honestly a banger. I had: Mac and cheese Fried chicken sandwich (ask for extra pickles) Blackberry lemonade It was perfect for two people. This place CRUSHES everything. The chicken? Brined, juicy, double dredged, then fried. Ask for EXTRA house made pickles, they're heavenly The mac and cheese? It's genuinely the best. They use garlic bread breadcrumbs on top and the flavor layering is exceptional. The blackberry lemonade? PERFECT TART LEMONADE! You can taste the lemons not just essential oils with berry syrup.

After many recommendations to come here, I finally was able to grab some lunch while in town this week. I was not disappointed! Looking over the menu, I had my reservations about the "worlds beat fried chicken" claim. And although I may not agree (just yet), I can see why some may feel this sentiment! I ordered the pork belly burnt ends as an appetizer, shrimp and grits and the half chicken order. Pork belly burnt ends 3/5 - tender chunks of pork belly smothered in a tangy bbq sauce and served with ranch. These were decent size bites of pork belly. Coming from Texas (BEST BBQ IN THE WORLD) I was expecting more of a grilled or smoked flavor. These may have been braised or boiled, as the pork itself didn't have much flavor and was carried by the sauce. Shrimp and Grits 3.8/5 - these were pretty good. White cheddar grits that are cooked like you would at granny's house in the south (not the creamy, fluffy, whipped fancy grits like most places). A bit runnier than my preference, but good flavor. These were topped with shrimp, Andouille sausage and a gravy that added some good contrast of flavor to the grits. Overall, very good and if they were thicker I'd move into the 4+ rating Half chicken 4.6/5 - yea... They know how to do some fried chicken! Double dredged and pressure fried to get that crispy skin but JUICY interior. Although you can see the flecks of pepper and seasoning in the coating, it isn't overly seasoned which leaves room for the honey drizzle (or drowning in my case lol). Very well prepared and cooked. Hats off to the chef(s)! Bartender (Carly) was very knowledgeable and attentive. Gave me the menu rundown since it's my first visit and shared her personal faves. Pro tip: she suggested getting the grilled cheese and adding a fried chicken Brest to it! There were a few more menu items I'd like to try, so I will definitely be back when I'm in town next month!

The chicken was by far the best! The succotash was without a doubt the best I've ever had and our server at the bar was great! Now for the bad....the bathroom was filthy with over flowing trash, the restaurant itself was extremely small and not like the one in Indianapolis where there is an abundance of room and the hostess when arriving was extremely rude! We will go back for their food but will grab and go.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it will also be my last. The food was disappointing. I ordered a burger, which I knew might not be the best choice, but I expected it to be tasty. Unfortunately, it was salty and tasted stale. The service was poor as well. I asked the waiter for some tabasco sauce, and although he said he would bring it, he forgot. When I reminded him, he claimed I hadn’t asked for it. He also seemed a bit upset and blamed the loud TV for the misunderstanding. Additionally, the soft drinks were supposed to be refillable, but not once did he come by to ask if we wanted anything or if our food was okay.

I’ve been to the Yard House in Cincinnati and also the one in Indy, and honestly, I love this place for the vibe and some of the appetizers. The Brussels sprouts are a standout—absolute perfection every time. Crispy, flavorful, and probably my favorite thing on the menu. I ordered the Cajun jambalaya with jasmine rice, shrimp, and crawdads. It was okay—decent but not amazing. I expected it to be spicier and a bit more saucy; it felt a little dry and underwhelming for a dish that should pack some punch. We also had hamburgers. Nothing to write home about—just basic. The bacon on one was burnt, which definitely didn’t help. Overall, the place is still a win for me because of the atmosphere and some consistently good small plates like the Brussels sprouts, but the entrees felt a little “meh” on this visit.

The ambience of the place is 10/10 and there are an insane number of beers available on the draft! The view was spectacular overlooking Roebling bridge, the spicy stacked tuna was interesting but overall I was unimpressed with the food, we tried the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich which was alright and the Shitake garlic noodles was very disappointing.

I had the privilege of spending my birthday having dinner here. The food was delicious. Very clean restaurant, noise level great. Our server, Grace, was very knowledgeable in recommending food to try. Also, they were very accommodating by making half portions of pastas so we could try many things. And as an added gift for my birthday, they gave us two free desserts to celebrate.

I had a really bad experience at Via Vite and felt completely disregarded as a guest. We arrived at 7:00 PM and were told there wouldn’t be a table available until 7:45 PM. That was fine—we agreed to wait. Since it was cold outside, we only stepped out for a quick 5-minute photo at Fountain Square and came right back to wait at the entrance. During that time, we watched multiple groups—who arrived after us and also didn’t have reservations—get seated before us. Some were parties of four or more, while we were just a party of three. It made no sense. We stood there for nearly 30 minutes with no updates, while at least six other groups were taken to their tables. We were the only ones left waiting. When I asked the host what was going on, her explanation was vague and dismissive. She claimed tables are assigned based on party size, but couldn’t explain why larger groups were seated before us. Another host jumped in and told me, with attitude, that we were “marked” for 7:45 and we’d be seated then—as if we hadn’t already been waiting patiently and silently the whole time. I asked to speak to a manager. I made it clear I understand waiting when you don’t have a reservation. What upset me was the inconsistency, the lack of transparency, and the feeling that guests were being picked and chosen at random—or based on who the staff preferred. I asked whether those other groups had reservations, and the manager’s answer was vague and felt made up on the spot. The manager claimed that the other group had a reservation, but they clearly waited 20 minutes like us. If she’s telling the true, I guess people should be aware that you might have to wait 20 mins even if you have a reservation. The only person who showed any professionalism was Abby, another host, who overheard the conversation and finally took us to a table and offered complimentary starters. Her kindness is the only reason I’m giving this review more than one star. But overall, the service at the front was unprofessional and unwelcoming. If you’re going to make people wait, at least be fair and transparent about it. This experience left a really bad impression.

Great restaurant with great food and service! Soon as you walk in, greeted with a smile and atmosphere was perfect. Waiter was fantastic with service and recommendations. Drinks were on point as well as food. I haven’t nothing bad to say about this place. Would go again anytime if we lived in the area. Also homemade paste was perfect. Thanks for a great dinner with great service!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. The food has always been delicious and we've enjoyed the atmosphere. This last time, I will say things felt a little cramped. It was the first time going since their renovation and our table at least was very close to two others. To the point we heard more of the others' conversation than our own. The food prices have gone up quite a bit as well. The crispy truffle gnocchi has always been our favorite but it's a bit pricey for what it is now. By far our favorite memory was the new years menu they did for 2021-2022. That will forever be the best time we spent there. If you're in downtown Cincinnati, I'd still recommend booking a nice dinner here.

Amazing place! Didn’t have a reservation but immediately got sat at the bar and the bartenders were so friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I forgot to get their names but one was blonde and the other brunette. Their service was fantastic and they were very good with my difficult family, being very friendly and serviceable. The food and drinks were on point. Overall a great experience

This is a perfect restaurant for a girls' night out. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered homemade pasta, salmon, and chicken Caesar salad. Everything was perfect. Tasty and with the right amount of salt. We also had some mojitos (not so good), but they were OK. The service was excellent. After dinner, we headed to the salsa in the square. We had fun.

We went a large group for a planned birthday celebration of a friend. Even with repeated reminders there was no special for the birthday person. Very disappointing. Food quality was usual, nothing special. It was overpriced. The server pushed to sell salad as part of main course, with deceptive statement. All of the 8+ adults understood same. Will not recommend this place. Overall ambience was great, parking was near.

Boca is a high-end restaurant known for its stylish decor, full bar, and menu featuring steak, seafood, and pasta dishes. The location is ideal for theater-goers. Chef David Falk has been with the Boca Restaurant Group for 12 years, where he developed his palate and passion for old-world cuisine. The restaurant offers an Italian/French dining experience with a seasonal menu that includes satisfying pasta dishes, well-prepared fish and meaty proteins.
We finally had our dinner at Boca and it was beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and intention. The maître d’, Nicole, was absolutely incredible! She curated our entire experience from start to finish. She gave us the best table in the house, arranged a custom menu with out-of-this-world wine pairings, and ensured every course was flawlessly executed. Every single team member we encountered made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. We were congratulated on our 25th anniversary throughout the evening, offered a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen, and gifted a beautifully framed and signed menu personalized just for us. Nicole and the entire Boca team turned what was already a special occasion into a memory we’ll never forget. This wasn’t just dinner... it was hospitality at its highest level. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

We were in Cincinnati for our anniversary and needed a nice place to dine. We have previously had poor luck finding a location with great food and great service. Reddit suggested Boca and we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, food, and service. Small plates with excellent flavor. Desert was great too. Highly recommended.

One of the best dinners I have had in a while. I've tried multiple new foods the other night, including caviar and scallops. The staff made the entire experience amazing. They explained the menu in-depth and the flavours with each dish. We ended the amazing dinner with beef Wellington and a lemon cake thing that was SUPER GOOD! The scallop and brussel sprouts are featured in the image. The ingredients were extremely fresh, and the scallop tasted like a steak.

Cincinnati has a sneaky good food scene. Boca has to be within the top echelon. Designed as a small plate restaurant you have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of flavors. "GG" our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and delivered an exquisite experience.

This is the restaurant you can always count on to have amazing service and food. We celebrated our birthdays with friends and had a delicious dinner. The audience is beautiful and food outstanding. Make sure of course to have the Pommes soufflés, they are everything they are cracked up too. This evening we tried something new to us the romanesco, it was lightly charred with an incredible sauce and bed of grains. We also had the corn elote which is the taste of summer in a plate, then shared the beef Wellington. Topping the evening off with their not only tongue in cheek catchy names but presentations of desserts.

I rarely rate any place 5 out of 5. But it's really surprised me. First they serve French Mediterranean. Which really surprised me cuz I didn't know what to expect. I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. She made really good cocktails. She put me on something called paper plane which was really good and told me this whole story about the liquor and how it's a dessert drink in Italy. Food wise I got her recommendations. They are known for their brussel sprouts, which I wasn't the biggest fan of I thought they were just okay. Chicken was the best dish. Great recommendation definitely recommended. I love the whole vibe and the way the restaurant is set up. Huge beautiful chandelier in the middle.

Service and atmosphere was top notch. Pasta was under cooked (well below Al Dente). Heavily overpriced. Great place to wine and dine to impress. Definitely better food spots around, but if you’re chasing ambiance and trying to impress someone; this is your place

Boca is great, fine dining! I've been there a couple of times now, and twice did their chef curated menus. I've always thoroughly enjoyed all their food! The service is great and professional. It's always a lot of fun to try the new things that Chef David is creating as well as the various wines that are paired with the meals. Would highly recommend for a nice night out!

Incline Public House, named after the historic Cincinnati inclines, offers a relaxed atmosphere and an American menu. Situated in the original location of the Price Hill House Restaurant, it provides stunning views of downtown Cincinnati from its seasonal outdoor deck. The restaurant is known for its delicious American cuisine served for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Guests can savor popular pizzas like the Prosciutto Fig or create their own with a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings.
10/10 Recommend! My family and I loved everything about this place. The views, the food, and the service were awesome! The Short Rib Poutine was good, but the Grippos-Crusted Mac & Cheese Bites stole the show! We will order more of these next time! We also ordered the Caprese, Garbage, and Deluxe Spicy Italian Pizzas. All very good, but I think Garbage won my vote as the best of the 3 (it was close). We will definitely be back to try more of these menu items!

A great place to eat when the weather is nice and you want to eat outside with a view! Their menu is unique and has some great food choices. The restaurant is a bit small and the wait time can build quickly. My favorite was their fried grippos Mac n cheese ball appetizer! I’m always a fan of their pizzas too. My husband liked his brisket burger.

From the food to the service, to the beautiful view of the city of Cincinnati and the Ohio River. It was absolutely amazing. Our server, Andrew, was very kind and friendly to us. Great view of Cincinnati from Incline Public House. Atmosphere outside was very nice. Pretzel appetizer was delicious. Otherwise entrees and pizza were solid, nothing to write home about. We had a pizza, fish and chips and Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Iced tea was weak and bland. Overall, the view was the attraction. Was getting quite busy when we left around 730pm. Service was excellent, attentive and courteous.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming Italian restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. We had friendly service that made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely incredible. Especially the crispy potato gnocchi and baked oysters. The ingredients tasted fresh, and you could tell there was a lot of care put into every plate. I don't think you can go wrong with any item on the menu! Service was equally impressive. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing restaurant. The building, the food. The service were all great! Can't wait to come back. Had the eggplant parmigiana and the Bolognese with home made pasta. Both amazing. Service was first class.

I like to think myself as a collector of dishes. I know where to go for my favorite dessert, my favorite latte, the best seafood. Nicolas surprised me because literally every dish we tried was delicious. The bread stood on its own. I wanted to sell a kidney to take home more of that truffle focaccia. I tried two half pastas, Bolognese noodles melted my mouth and the risotto felt like taking a bite of the perfect margarita pizza. The tiramisu rivaled ones I've tasted abroad and the yuzu tart was the perfect mix of tart and sweet. Now I just have to find a sugar daddy so I can go back and try everything on the menu.

I had to wait about 40 minutes past my reservation, but honestly, it was totally worth it. The food at Nicola’s was incredible — I did the tasting experience and every dish was spot on. Our server was amazing — super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly knew his wine. The pairings were perfect. And that bread basket… easily the best in the city. The bread maker has been there for 40 years, and you can taste the love and experience in every bite. Despite the wait, this place absolutely deserves 5 stars. Great atmosphere, phenomenal food, and top-tier service. I’ll definitely be back.

Me and my friend went for her birthday. It was a nice and sweet touch to personalize the menu with a message to say Happy Birthday! Our service was great and attentive. We had a Caesar salad, Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, Potato Gnocchi, then the panna cotta for dessert. I would definitely recommend the bolognese, my friend enjoyed the gnocchi but was a little disappointed in the portion size. The panna cotta was pretty good with some interesting flavors, but it was a little too gelatinous for us. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

Restaurant
Pompilios is a charming Italian restaurant located in Newport, Kentucky, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Established in 1933, this family-friendly spot has gained local affection and even made appearances in movies like 'Rain Man' and 'Airborne.' The founder, Colonel Pompilio, holds the distinction of securing Kentucky's first post-Prohibition liquor license. The menu features classic Italian dishes such as homemade lasagna, manicotti, and veal.
It is a fantastic spot for authentic Italian cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions perfect for sharing. I ordered the Shrimp Ronaldo and the Italian Sampler Platter for my entrée, risotto balls as an appetizer, and finished with tiramisu for dessert—all of which were excellent. The patio has a great setup, making it a lovely place to dine outdoors. Inside, the décor and ambiance add to the restaurant’s charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. While service was a bit slower on a Tuesday night, I must say it was well worth the wait. The only downside is the parking—it can be a challenge to find a spot nearby. However, if the weather is nice, parking at the Levee and taking a short walk is a great alternative. Overall, Pompilio’s is a must-visit for anyone looking for quality Italian food in a cozy and welcoming setting. Highly recommend!

Thank you Pompillio’s and Abby for making our day.

Just left our fav local Italian restaurant. Have been going to Pompillos for many years! Tonight, I ordered a simple penne pasta dish for $17.09. I added an order of 1 meatball for $2.29 (pricing acceptable) and then also ordered one Italian Sausage….. Get THIS ..$8.69 FOR ONE SUSAGE…. Over a 50% in cost of the price of the pasta order!!!! I pay about 1/2 this amount at some of the “finer restaurants in Manhattan, and yes, they are homemade as well!!! Unbelievable! The sausage is good…. But not $8.69 good. It should have been priced more comparable to the meatball …. With some slight up-charge for the ingredients. Never again… our business will go to another local Italian restaurant going forward.

We ended up finding street parking right outside the business. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and seated promptly. Our server was working a big party next to us but was attentive to our tables needs. Our food arrived, lobster Ravioli and penned with vodka sauce, both were sub-par and not what we expected after being recommended to try this place. The noodles did not taste fresh, vodka sauce wasn't flavorful/tastie and my meal seemed tobhave suce and cheese on it and then microwaved. The seafood Ravioli sauce was not tasty and again, the pasta tasted old. We ordered a cease salad and requested to share it and they brought us 2 plates with it already split for us. Lighting was dim. Can't remember if there was a TV since we sat all the way down in the back. Staff was friendly and constantly checked in on us. They close at 9pm but we're still taking customers at 8:30pm.

This is a great place for a meal after attending an event in downtown Cincinnati. The service is as good as you will ever experience. The atmosphere is wonderful; quiet and vintage. The 'Shrimp Ronaldo' is excellent; there are so many great flavors. The lasagna is a huge serving. But, it's not prepared the way I am accustomed. To me, it seemed dry and too much like an overbaked casserole. The fried ravioli appetizer was a little disappointing. The meat and cheese fillings are excellent. But, our order came out with quite a bit of black soot on it. I wonder if after frying, it was warmed up in something like a pizza oven. It was not at all crispy. But it tasted a little burnt. The marinara sauce that came with it was fantastic, though. The 'tiramisu' was absolutely delicious. I do believe their recipe is completely original. I didn't taste any espresso / coffee flavor. And, instead of cocoa powder sprinkled on top, it had a lot of Hershey syrup poured on. The serving was more than the two of us could eat. I wish that they could include just a small dinner salad or cup of soup with the entrées. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Pompilios.

Located in the Incline District of East Price Hill, Primavista offers an upscale dining experience with stunning views of the city skyline and riverfront. The restaurant features an elegant atmosphere and a diverse menu that includes classic, vegan, and gluten-free Italian dishes. Guests can indulge in delectable options such as veal saltimbocca or penne "Cionni" while enjoying live music at the Incline Lounge on weekends.
It had been 9 years since our last Primavista visit, and I can report that nothing has changed. That's a good thing! The view of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is spectacular (especially at night). The food was great: I particularly enjoyed the pesto chicken which was bursting with flavor. Service by Aubrey was just perfect.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant last night. We were an early seating and so we're shown to our table as soon as we arrived. Everyone that greeted us was friendly. The restaurant interior is a little tired but is iconic in its vintage decor. We were seated in a cozy booth with a curtain separating us from our neighbors. All tables in this restaurant seem to have a great view of the city. Our server, Elle, greeted us promptly and took our cocktail order. When she returned she listed the specials and asked if we would like to place an appetizer order. We chose the goat cheese bruschetta with rosemary and honey. It was an excellent choice and good for the two of us to share without ruining our appetite. We also shared a Caesar salad which was a good portion and I loved that they gave me the option of anchovies on the side. The salad dressing was obviously housemade and the best I can remember eating. My main was the Veal Saltimboca and My husband had the Chicken "Fromaggio".We both enjoyed our main courses very much. I actually told a manager who checked on our happiness that it was the first time I never had to add any salt or pepper to my dish as it was perfectly seasoned. Our one disappointment was the dessert. We ordered the Nutella cannoli. It was not a traditional cannoli and the filling was more of a whipped cream filling rather than the heavy ricotta. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Primavista is a lovely surprise. Superb service with Annie who was a picture of perfect waitressing, mouth-watering food, and great views of the city. The only thing that left me wanting more is if the bread was warm and fresh out of the oven. I would absolutely come back, which says a lot.

I went there this past Sunday for dinner. *We ordered the Strawberry Fresca from the bar menu, but seemed to have no alcohol in it for $12. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer...nothing to write home about. Caesar Salad was good. The bread served was nothing special (Kroger has better bread honestly), and the so called "garlic butter" was odd looking and tasted nothing like butter OR garlic. Weird stuff! I ordered the veal piccata, which came out paper thin, greenish in color, the sauce was watery with very little flavor, and was topped with peeled lemon slices which gave the veal an overwhelming lemon flavor. It was served with polenta, which was good, and green beans. Definitely not a meal worth $36!! Mom had chicken served over Alfredo sauce which she (and I) enjoyed. Desert was the best part. A warm brownie topped with gelato and a scoop of fresh whipped cream and a square of white chocolate separating the two, and dark chocolate drizzled over the entire dessert....heavenly! There was a young bus girl who was the best part of our meal...she was super sweet and was constantly on the move. The Incline house next door is a better choice, has good food with a view at a much lower price. Definitely a better choice!

Comprehensive review. I came here for a valentines dinner and to start out parking was very difficult. Valet is not free so that’s never a good start to an experience. I give them the benefit of the doubt because they are located in an apartment complex building. Entering the place was nothing short of beautiful. You enter a beautiful door and are led to the coat check which is the first thing u see. The lobby is comfy and cozy. You can tell it’s a historically well kept facility. I arrive 30 minutes early and they sat me about 15 minutes into waiting. I was brought to my table which was not prepared so we had to make a trip back to the lobby temporarily. Hostess was completely apologetic so no big issue there. After sitting down and taking in the views it’s easily the best view you’ll find in Cincinnati. Completely romantic and such a gem. After about 10 minutes our waiter finally approached us. Way too long for service at a high end restaurant. She was very nice and great at communicating, though her knowledge of dishes and the menu were slim. For drinks, my diet coke was one of the best I’ve had and my date got a cocktail which she enjoyed thoroughly. The bread was just okay. Was very dry and you could tell was just heated up basic white bread. Garlic clovers were a great addition but could’ve been hotter and more easy to spread. For starters we got the Caesar salad, cold, crunchy, and immaculate flavor, it was a 10/10. Fried calamari which was also amazing though it could’ve had more big pieces rather than just little fried remnants. The star of the appetizers was the bruschetta. They have a unique way of making it here and I will say it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Goat cheese with honey drizzle you cannot beat it. Would come back just for this. For the mains I got the gnocchi and shrimp. The shrimp had a weird fishy taste to it but it wasn’t too overwhelming. I enjoyed it but not too much. Portion was way too small. My date ordered the Chicken Formaggio. This dish was unique. It kind of had a sweet aspect to it, as it was different. It wasn’t amazing but wasn’t bad. Same as the gnocchi was. Price wise everything was super reasonable. Overall, if I came back I would be open to trying other entrees. But I would only be confident in their appetizers and drinks. I enjoyed the dinner and the views, but I could’ve enjoyed the main dishes more. Dessert also looked like a stronghold of theirs which I did not try. My date and I had a great time other than the few critics.

This is honestly one of the best tasting restaurants I’ve had in the Cincinnati area. It’s a small menu but they do it will and are very good at adapting to dietary restrictions. My wife got tofu subbed in the risotto dish that originally had fish and it was still amazing! I will be back to try a few more dishes because everything tasted healthy and refreshing. It’s an older building but they stay true to their roots of farm to table. Certainly would recommend for a date night!

While visiting Cincinnati for a weekend getaway, we found The Original Pancake House through a Google search. This is a super neat and very attractive restaurant that is in a strip mall, but is distinguished by its lovely yellow and white striped awning. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the hostess station and seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helped us in deciding what to order from their extensive menu. I had the corn beef hash with poached eggs and rye toast and my husband had the Michaels Special which was eggs Benedict with sausage and sauteed mushrooms and came with a side of potato pancakes. We both had their fresh-squeezed orange juice. Everything was delicious and service was stellar. I think the star of the show was the potato pancakes. Overall this was a flawless meal and anytime I am in Cincinnati, I will be eating here.

Absolutely amazing service, despite being very busy on a Sunday morning! The Dutch baby was unbelievably tasty but the shining star was the apple pancake! We couldn’t come close to finishing either as the portions are huge, but we certainly enjoyed every single bite we could fit in!
Nici — Google review
The portions are big and the people are friendly here. We had the western omelet breakfast with 3 buttermilk pancakes. The omelet uses four eggs, so it was quite hearty. There was nothing special about the pancakes, though that came with the omelet. The freshly squeezed orange juice was pretty good. They were very busy, but the service was fast enough. We got a window seat, which was nice, but there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. We asked the waiter to kill the fly 🪰 and he grabbed a magazine from somewhere and murdered the fly. The clientele was of the older generation. The locals seem to like this pancake house. We met some very friendly locals there and they gave this place very high marks. Overall, I felt like the food was average, but I would come back here again.

I went here with my boyfriend for a breakfast date. IHOP called me after, but this place had me saying "New number, who dis?" If you want that old diner feel without the grime, try this place. If you regret it, well maybe you were rude to the staff because their food is 🔥

The Original Pancake House has fantastic food—there's no denying it. Every time I go, the pancakes are fluffy, the eggs are cooked perfectly, and the bacon is smokey. It’s the kind of breakfast that hits the spot every time. However, there are some major downsides. The hours are weird and inconsistent, so don’t count on it being open when you think it should be. Service is okay—some servers are friendly and efficient, others not so much, but you’ll usually get what you need without much hassle. Now for the biggest issue: the place is filthy. The ceiling tiles are stained from water damage, the ceiling fans and lights are absolutely caked in dust, and the walls are chipped, worn-out wood that looks like it hasn’t been touched in years. The floors are consistently slippery, which feels both gross and unsafe. If they ever did a deep clean and freshened up the place, it could easily be a 5-star breakfast spot. But until then, just know you’re trading a delicious meal for a dingy environment. Oh... And it's overpriced.
Staci W — Google review
The portion sizes are HUMONGOUS!!! I got an omelet and it was the size of the ENTIRE PLATE. Not just the length of the plate. Im talking the CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE ENTIRE PLATE!!! I literally got 3 meals out of it. I took a girlfriend there for her first time. Asked our waitress a recommendation. She got the Dutch Pancake with strawberries and lemon. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head when she ate that and instantly said she was bringing her husband there for a meal. I wish I could give the 10 STARS!!!!

The BonBonerie is a beloved Cincinnati institution known for its exceptional bakery offerings. The teapot-adorned cafe serves up a delightful array of sweet treats, including moist and flavorful cakes with unique flavor combinations, delectable cookies, and tasty cupcakes. Guests can also enjoy a light cafe menu and over 15 different types of specialty blended teas from Elmwood Inn Teas.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I can not say enough about this place, the taste and the people. I have been going to the Bonbonerie for over 20 years. Every year, I get my sons Opra Cream birthday cake from here and go there periodically for a fix. 3 weeks ago I got married again (they did my other wedding also) everyone raved and stood around the cake. Watching people stop and say, "omg this is so good," was priceless. Not only was the presentation stunning, but the cake flavor was exceptional. NOT YOUR TYPICAL CAKE. I swear you can taste the love!!! Fresh, moist, flavorful, and gorgeous. The attention to detail and pride in quality shows. I can not thank them enough for making my cake for my wedding as memorable as it was. They exceed all expectations every time... go taste the love yourself...

Popped in on my way through the area. Opted for lunch instead of afternoon tea since my travels made a specific reservation time difficult. I ordered a small pot of Earl Grey and a goat cheese chicken panini. The tea was delicious. The sandwich arrived at the table hot and was absolutely fantastic. My companion ordered the Cobb salad and loved it. I was very impressed with the high quality of the food. It was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Our sever did a great job... attentive and very pleasant even though we arrived late in the day, just an hour before closing. I'll be so pleased if my travels bring me back this way so I can return to this lovely café.

We got a small wedding cake here and it was so perfect and so delicious. The tastings were set up so well (and really showcased the available flavors). We'll definitely be coming back again each year on our anniversary

Delicious food ! We ate in the cafe on a Tuesday....had wanted to do tea but were too late trying to book one so that will be for next time. I ordered the lunch tea sandwiches which comes with some pastry from the bakery and tea. Excellent! Our service was great also. We also purchased more sweets from the bakery. (The opera cake is fantastic.) It's a bit tight in the cafe and noisy but it's popular so understandable. Had a great lunch!

Downstairs from the bakery is their lovely cafe and tea room. Well worth the individual trip or before visiting their bakery. A huge variety of of teas, coffees and light meals from breakfast to lunches. We had the BEC, grilled cheese, spring wrap and the Spanish quiche. All were excellent. The atmosphere was great and the service was efficient and “southern friendly.” Definitely worth the drive to have this wonderful experience.

The BonBonerie wedding team knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake. Our colors were jewel tone rainbow. We sent them some inspiration and then picked out a design, and it turned out better than we could have imagined- and of course was delicious! We had a mix of Opera Crème and White Chocolate Romance.

French Crust Café and Bistro is a charming eatery located near Findlay Market, offering classic French cuisine from breakfast to steak frites, along with a selection of cocktails. The bistro presents an array of Parisian bistro dishes such as beef tartare, onion soup, foie gras mousse, duck leg confit, and classic pastries in a beautiful classic style adorned with French posters and art.
Very cute place located right across the street from Findlay Market. Perfect for brunch with a unique selection of entree’s. I would recommend the chicken apple mushroom croissant with Swiss! Their Quiche is also delicious. And definitely stop by the bakery on your way out.

I’ll be dreaming about the Shrimp and Scallop Vol Au Vent for the foreseeable future. They type of meal you have that ruins other meals because of how good it is. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, the puff pastry was nice and flakey, and the shrimp and scallops were incredible. The ONLY note I would have is it felt like our waitress kept forgetting about us, but she was very kind. And you can draw on the tables. I should’ve led with that.

During my visit to Cincinnati one of my friends took me there for breakfast. Had a cup of hot chocolate and a french dip sandwich. It was an amazing dish and loved it. The staff was very friendly and supportive. We had a nice time enjoying the breakfast. This is a nice restaurant. Loved it.
Isuru D — Google review
Jean Ro would be appalled at some of the things being served here claiming to be French. I do not want to write an essay, but the server was extremely rude, the food was mediocre and lukewarm at best. The photographs are of their $7 side of fries, which were cold and had to be sent back and a “seasonal fruit tarte” which as having lived in France for over a decade I can tell you that this is not a tarte at all, When she asked how it was, and we informed her that it was misleading as that is not actually a fruit tarte she decided to argue with us and say that the Patisserie chef is fully trained, and therefore that must be a seasonal fruit tarte and “honey, you’re wrong” is what she said. This place earned 3 strikes in one visit with me. Head to “Luca” in Mt Adams if you actually want an “authentic French Bistro”.At least the Chef is French. I have added a picture of an actual French fruit tart for reference.

I had a mixed experience with breakfast. The two eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, with nice runny yolks. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the red potatoes were good—well-seasoned and nicely roasted. The side of fruit was fresh and delicious, adding a bright note to the meal. However, the Eggs Benedict was a letdown; the overall dish felt underwhelming, and slightly under cooked eggs. So I probably wouldn’t order it again. The Bloody Mary was decent, with not much spice, nothing standout. Overall, solid for the classics, but I’d skip the Benedict next time.

Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! Warm atmosphere, friendly service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

We came in for brunch and the food was exceptional. We ordered the catch of the day (which was salmon with tomato basil risotto) and a shrimp and scallop dish as well. Both were delicious. Our server was great, he answered all of our questions. It was my birthday and they let me pick a dessert from the case! I got the three-layer mousse and I recommend it. Overall, great service and quality of food. We will be back!

Nestled in the heart of Cincinnati, Scotti's Italian Restaurant has been a beloved institution since 1912, offering an authentic taste of Italy with a charming family-run vibe. The restaurant is adorned with vibrant tiled walls that make for the perfect backdrop for your next selfie. With its red-and-white checkered tablecloths and flickering candlelight from Chianti bottles, dining here feels like stepping back in time to an era filled with rich flavors and warm hospitality.
Really liked the food. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Nice family run restaurant. Very small, so don't try large groups.

I'm a New Jersey native. This place reminds me of a few hole in the wall type places I've been to both in NJ and in New York City. That's kinda where the positives end. The food is at best bland and as worst tastes like sawdust. The Kroger brand Rigatoni I was served as a side with the veal was grossly undercooked. I know what al dente is supposed to be and that was 2 minutes shy of that. The veal itself was overcooked and the breading was basically soggy sawdust. My wife had meatballs that also had the weirdest soggy texture and bland flavor I've probably ever experienced. Redeemingly, service was attentive and fairly quick. Though based on some other reviews, that's atypical. It will not be my choice to return here, that's for sure.

Cool ambience in oldest continuously operating Cincy restaurant, now in generation five. Prices are very reasonable. Good food like your grandmother would have made if she were Italian.

Here is to another 100 yrs. I'm writing to share feedback about a recent experience at your restaurant. Unfortunately, I'm unable to leave a positive online review as I have for many other establishments during my travels. On a Thursday evening around 6 p.m., my family of four visited your restaurant. Despite the restaurant being empty, we were informed by the server/host that we could not simply order appetizers and entrees. He insisted on a five-course meal, even though your menu offers à la carte options. His demeanor was rude and uninviting, leaving us feeling unwelcome in a way I've never experienced at a family-owned Italian restaurant. As we left, he remarked that the restaurant has operated the same way for over 100 years. We ended up having a wonderful meal and experience at Jeff Ruby's. It's disappointing that one interaction could tarnish the reputation of a local institution.

This place is a our place to go before going to the opera in Cincinnati. My wife and father in law have been going here for 33 years and I just joined them 5 years ago and we look forward to going there. When you eat Italian food, it's all about the sauce and Scotti's has the best. A huge menu and I can't get enough of the lasagna. I have taken my older children and they too really enjoyed the food. Rena, Pat and Marco are like family. If you haven't been, you should try, but be prepared to compare every place forward to Scotti's.

5 stars all around. As an East Coast transplant who grew up in an Italian family, this brought me back years. This is the best Italian food I have had here in 10 years. Our waiter was great telling us tales from the kitchen and family times that had me nostalgic. The food is authentic and outstanding. The atmosphere is magnificent. The old chianti bottles hanging and the table candles tie it all together with the red checkered tablecloth. The minestrone soup blew me away. Do not make the same mistake I did and wait 10 years before getting here. If you’re a NY/NJ transplant this is a must go.

Coppin's Restaurant & Bar, located at Hotel Covington, pays homage to the building's history as Coppins Department Store. The restaurant offers locally sourced New American fare and cocktails in a rustic-chic gastropub setting. The menus are designed for sharing and feature influences from both Northern and Southern neighbors of Covington. The establishment highlights local craft beers, cider, sodas, wine, and cocktails on draft.
Amazing vibe at the place! Grabbed a late lunch between stops on the B-Line (NKY Bourbon Trail) and it did not disappoint!!!! The atrium is amazing but the quaint patio is even more so! We had it to ourselves this afternoon and our waitress was amazing with her drink and food recommendations. The Liquid Knowledge was amazing and the Tater Tots were unique- I’ve never experienced anything like them. Crispy but soft flaky layers with crunch in between the inner layers? Crazy good!

Alright, let's dive into the amazing world of Coppin's restaurant and bar. This place is a gem, and here's why: First off, let me talk about Chris, the bar tender extraordinaire. This guy is a magician behind the bar. His drinks are so balanced and delicious, you'll question whether he's secretly an alchemist. I've had my fair share of espresso martinis, but Chris's is in a league of its own. It's like he's pouring liquid gold into your glass, and every sip is a symphony of flavors. The vibe at Coppin's is electric. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and let the good times roll. The decor is on point, the staff is friendly, and the energy is so good, you'll want to stay all night. But back to Chris—this guy is more than just a bar tender; he's an artist. His creativity with cocktails is off the charts, and he's got this uncanny ability to read what you need in a drink. I swear, he's like a long-lost brother, always there to make your night better. So, if you're looking for a place that combines great food, amazing drinks, and an atmosphere that's unbeatable, Coppin's is the spot. Come here with an open mind and a thirst for something special, and you won't be disappointed. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you, and you might just find a new best friend behind the bar.

Coppins was recommended to me by a friend. Walking in I was greeted by friendly people and sat in the atrium. The special was a 16 oz steak and brussel sprouts. Recommend arriving hungry. We would give 10 stars if we could!!! 🌟🌟🌟 We recently dined at Coppin’s Restaurant in Covington, KY and let’s just say — we left our taste buds in orbit! The atmosphere was classy yet cozy, the service was top-notch, and the food? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. 🌍💫 We were celebrating the annual visit of a dear friend from Germany 🇩🇪, but after a meal like this, we refuse to wait another year to return! Let’s break it down: 🥇 My mother-in-law — who has a very discerning palate — declared the salmon the BEST she’s ever had! 🥇 I devoured the scallops with… wait for it… LIMA BEANS. 🫘🔥 I would go to the ends of the earth for those lima beans — buttery, tender, and totally unforgettable. 🥇 And the grand finale: Strawberry Rhubarb Galette 🍓🥧 — tart, sweet, flaky perfection. A mic-drop moment for dessert! We left floating on a foodie cloud and already plotting our return. Thank you, Coppin’s, for turning an annual reunion into a culinary celebration! 🎉 #CoppinsCovington #CovingtonEats #GermanFriendsAndGoodFood #FoodieHeavenKY #ScallopLoversUnite #LimaBeanLove #RealEstateEats #ProvenHomeProsApproved #KentuckyBites #GreaterCincyDining #HouseHuntersAndHungryBellies

The service was excellent, food was average and very expensive for a simple pasta dish which I could make at home for a couple dollars. The chairs are huge and ceilings are extremely high. It felt like dining in a rotunda. They have a huge selection of Kentucky Bourbon and, if you are a fan, this might be a great place to try.

We stayed at Hotel Covington for three nights for honeymoon and ate twice at Coppin’s. The first time we had pork belly, coppin salad and steak, and second time we had tuna, coppin salad, salmon and potato tots. The food overall was very tasty and impressed my picky hubby :) We wanted to give special thanks to our servers, both were wonderful and extremely friendly! They heard about we were on honeymoon trip and offered free dessert and champion toast. Unfortunately we forgot first server’s name, the second time was Carina. Carina noticed that I don’t do alcohol so she provided same-taste, alcohol-free sparking drink to me, alongside with champion to my hubby, how thoughtful was that! Thank you!

Tried this place for the first time last night for date night. My girlfriend had been here before and enjoyed it, so we decided to give it a shot. We arrived around 8 PM on a busy Saturday night. They took our name and quoted a 30-minute wait, which wasn’t a problem—we grabbed a drink at a nearby bar while we waited. When our table was ready, we were seated in an overflow dining area next door. The decor and ambiance were similar to the main restaurant, so no complaints there. Service started off fine but declined pretty quickly. There were about seven tables in our section, plus a bar area. One of the tables was a large group, but they were already finished eating when we walked in and left shortly after. So not a lot of folks on our side. We ordered drinks, chips and queso, and our entrées. The drinks came out quickly and were good, and the chips and queso followed soon after. The queso itself was just okay—nothing memorable, but a decent snack while waiting for our main dishes. For my meal, I ordered a taco flight with the Plain Jane, the Happy Pappy, and the Filthy Fajita. The Plain Jane was the best of the three, but still nothing special. The Happy Pappy was just okay—the carnitas were a bit dry. The Filthy Fajita, however, was straight-up bad. The steak was so tough I had to spit it out, and I ended up removing it from the taco entirely. On top of that, I could tell my tacos had been sitting for a while based on how the queso had hardened—definitely not ideal. My girlfriend ordered the Birria Ramen (which we heard is being removed from the menu soon) and the Becky taco. The ramen was pretty good—not the best birria we’ve had, but it got the job done. Thankfully, she had a better taco experience than I did—she really enjoyed The Becky. The wait for our food was long, but given how busy they were (and the time needed to cook the ramen), it was somewhat understandable. What wasn’t understandable was how long it took to get our check once we finished eating. By this point, the room had mostly emptied out, but despite our server clearly seeing that we were done, we sat for what felt like forever waiting to pay. It felt like we were on their time, which was frustrating. All in all, this place won’t be getting a return visit from me. The service was subpar, and the food wasn’t worth the $80 tab. For that price, I know we could have had a much better meal—and experience—somewhere else.

Awesome food and good service but...........if I order a drink and you bring me the wrong drink why am I paying for both!!! Ordered a pineapple margarita without jalapenos and was brought the one with jalapenos. I was just going to suck it up, but the manager came with a new one and said there was a mistake. The server even came and said she took someone else's drink. No big deal but was still charged for three drinks. Wow just wow! I have never been charged for a servers mistake before. Had I noticed this at the restaurant I would have disputed it right then and there. Bad bad business!

This is a place I went to for the first time because I saw a video online with their Crispy Chicken Burrito and I had to try it. While the one in the video had a bit more filling, it was still delicious and I would 100% recommend you to come here and try their delicious food!! The agave BBQ jam was ridiculous and I would probably enjoy anything with this stuff on top of it!! If you’re around any of their locations, I say give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

Forno Osteria + Bar is a lively Italian eatery that brings a modern twist to classic Italian fare, nestled in the charming Hyde Park neighborhood. This bustling restaurant is renowned for its wood-fired pizzas, crafted with top-notch ingredients and baked to perfection. The menu boasts an array of comforting dishes, including fresh pasta and unique offerings like octopus and wild boar, ensuring there's something for everyone.
From the appetizers to the main course everything was magnifico!!!! We started with the Forno Veal Meatballs and Burrata with fresh from the brick oven foccocia. The main courses were Spaghettini Arrabiatta, Cavatelli Al Tartufo, Rosemary Pappardelle Cinghiale and Basil Genovese Pesto Agnolotti. Amazing!!! And we added a side of Roman Style Artichokes. We complimented the meal with Moscato and and Aperol Spritz. But don't forget dessert! Vanilla Bean Brulee with fruit, Tiramisu and a Raspberry Gelato. The atmosphere and open bar where the brick oven is located had an Old World charm with the brown and tan hues. Not a large place, so HIGHLY RECOMMEND making a reservation! Kari was our server and she was top notch. Definitely one of our top 3 Italian restaurants in Cincy ♥️

We walked into Forno on a Monday night, and the place was packed. We grabbed two seats at the bar not planned, but perfect. The kitchen was in full swing, and we had front-row seats. We started with the octopus appetizer, and it didn’t just look good it delivered. Charred just enough to form that crisp edge, but tender inside with no hint of chewiness. That’s not luck that’s timing. It was paired with golden potatoes and a warm pasta style sauce underneath not your usual combo, but it worked beautifully. Nothing tried to outshine the octopus; everything was there to support it. We also had the pasta trio, a fun little bonus from the evening’s specials. It offered three different shapes, sauces, and textures to explore, making it a relaxed way to share and try a few things. But the octopus? That was the star. The kind of dish where you pause after the first bite, look at your friend, and say, “This is really good.”

We came here for Christmas Eve dinner last night and were absolutely blown away! We were worried about sitting at the bar because we were unable to get a table, but it turned out to be so fun watching the chefs and seeing how they cook such amazing dishes. The restaurant is so cute and cozy and perfect for the winter time, especially if you sit at the bar and have the pizza oven so close by! The food was AMAZING!! We tried a few appetizers to begin with(unpictured) including the veal meatballs, burrata, and bakery bread basket, all of which were so delicious and gone within 10 minutes. The burrata was hands down the favorite, very soft and pairs nicely with the house focaccia. For our entrees, we tried two of the sausage and caramelized onion pizzas, the cavatelli cooked in truffle and parmesan cream, and atlantic cod (unpictured). For the amount of food we ordered, we left with only a few slices of pizza. Everything tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection!! We were all in heaven! The service was also great, especially for how crowded they were on christmas eve!! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Overall, we were all so pleased and will definitely be coming back soon!!!

Hitting the "F" on our Alphabetical Couples Dinner list. Recommended by my son. Came in from the rear entrance where we found a few parking spaces. All staff very friendly. Had reservations. Greeted by manager who stopped by the table later. Mattie was an excellent server who provided answers to all questions on the menu. Appetizers and entrees were exceptional. Prosciutto and melon and the cauliflower were great choices. The veal meatballs are a must to add on the pasta dishes. The pizza was special and so fresh. We were told the chef makes about eighty per night. Packed on a Saturday evening as well as outdoor front seating. Will be returning soon.

There is a reason why this place is almost always fully booked. The food is exquisite. That short rib was darn near perfect. We enjoyed everything we had and the service is several steps above above top tier. Highly recommend.

Truly an outstanding meal. - Goat cheese and honey to start, was tasty - braised short rib was outstanding and the potatoes that came with, tasty! - spinach infused lasagna is worth the travel, not to heavy at all - the wine was paired perfectly - the Tiramasu was something, no words can describe. I've never had better. - Hurradura Anejo tequila Old Fashioned is meant to be enjoyed, well worth it. - Vanessa our server was knowledgeable, entertaining, and honest One hell of a meal! (Reservations though, I would highly recommend)

Great spot. Busy without being overly loud, good decor, attentive service without being intrusive. Shared octopus starter, salad, pizza and panna cotta and everything perfect (maybe could have used some flakes of salt to finish octopus). Great place to have in the neighborhood-all the restaurants in this group are good but this is our favorite. Sat immediately at the communal table.

The new, modern diner Sacred Beast is helmed by chef Jeremy Lieb who is most recently of the Boca Group. The menu features dishes that span from classic diner fare to more sophisticated and airy options, with everything taken seriously. Kids are welcome to help out while the pandemic is in effect, but once it subsides they become a crucial part of the restaurant's operations.
4.5 Stars This spot hits the mark for its category. The food was genuinely delicious — a standout being the deviled eggs, which were easily some of the best I’ve had. Service was solid and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere had a very cool, laid-back vibe that elevated the whole experience. Definitely a place worth returning to.

From the bar, the Sazerac and Hemingway daiquiri were well mixed. My server, Abigail was attentive, very friendly and had timing perfect for each interaction. Thanks Abigail! I loved the deviled eggs unique preparation, the salad fresh as expected and tossed with a nice vinaigrette dressing, the matzah ball soup is a real treat, very rich bone broth seasoned perfectly and served with a generous amount of chicken and vegetables and a wonderful matzah ball. The salmon is well seasoned, was actually cooked more medium well than medium rare and a smaller portion than I expected but still delicious with the brown butter and green beans. Dessert of chocolate pudding was totally accentuated with the crunchy, salty pistachio pieces on top.

Everything about my first time here exceeded expectation. The absolutely sweet young women (sisters) who greeted us when we came in made us feel so welcome. The two guys behind the bar were fun, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious. As a non-meat-eater I jumped at the idea of a blackened Mahi Reuben, and it did not disappoint. It was messy and glorious at the same time. Not a fan of the French fry dipping sauce, but just didn't eat it. If this picture of the two guys behind the bar doesn't give you the perfect idea of the vibe here, I don't know what would. We absolutely loved the entire experience and I will definitely add Sacred Beast to my regular rotation. I'm an idiot for not doing it before now!

We came bc I had outpatient surgery & the nurses at St E suggested we go for the lemon ricotta pancakes, and that did not disappoint! I took a to-go menu to share with friends because we loved it so much! Definitely a spot to frequent if you like an original & absolutely delicious meal! Service was also amazing.

Who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner? If breakfast isn’t your thing, don’t worry—our appetizers are just as irresistible. Whatever you choose, it’s comfort on a plate. You’ll leave happier than when you walked in. Pro tip: Going to music hall? Stop here first.

Best brunch we have had in a long time! The deviled eggs are remarkable and the Bloody Mary was probably the best I ever had. You've got to try the goetta sausage as well. Excellent quality all around. They have ample seating outside if the weather is nice.

I've been here tons of times over the years. It's always consistent and delicious! It's one of my favorite places to have breakfast/brunch. I would highly recommend trying the bread pudding French toast and cheesy eggs when visiting!

Where to even start? On Sunday 09/28/25 I made a reservation for Saturday 10/04/25 @ 7pm. We are regulars at OTR restaurants and have visited most of them in that “cluster” but had not tried Sacred Beast. We live in SE Indiana and it takes us about 35 min to drive in and we know we have to find parking in OTR so we give ourselves plenty of time. Well we arrived ahead of schedule because the drive in and parking were a breeze so we are there about 20 min early. The hostesses told us our table wasn’t ready and it would probably be ready hopefully by 7. They told us we could have a seat and then pointed to 2 chairs that were separated by a coat rack or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar. We were greeted immediately but then completely ignored for the next almost 15 minutes. Finally got our drinks and our table was ready. We were seated at a two top table (which was great) right next to the patio door. My back is now right where everyone going in and out to the patio has to pass by. This is not relaxing or enjoyable. We made reservations, waited all week, arrived on time and waited patiently to find out that Sacred Beast wasn’t going to give us the same level of attention that we had given them. We went down the street and ate at Kruger’s Tavern where we were greeted and treated like they truly appreciated us. The attached photo is our food at Krueger’s. It was delicious

They offer a variety of inventive breakfast and lunch options, including delectable rice/quinoa bowls, gourmet pressed sandwiches, soups, salads, and crispy waffle-ironed tater tots. Their menu also features classic breakfast dishes with a unique twist, such as avocado toast with strawberries, radishes, pistachios, arugula, honey, and eggs on wheat toast.
Absolutely AMAZING experience here! Got the breakfast bowl with tater tots and oh my gosh it was PHENOMENAL. The crunchy tots and sauce just made the entire meal that much better. Best breakfast I've had in a very long time.

Our first time trying this place, food was pretty great! Turkey club was great especially with the crispy Brussel sprouts. Biscuits and gravy for breakfast were great too. We sat outside, very welcoming establishment. They answered Al questions we had on the menu. I definitely recommend a mimosa is was delicious.

Decided to try this place as I had heard good things about it. Great place all around. Vaulted ceilings give this gem a large open spaced, relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly staff, prices were great, and food was awesome. I got the biscuits n gravy with chicken and turned out really good. Will definitely be back here again.

Stopped in randomly for the first time on a Saturday. We came around brunch time so it was pretty busy, but we still got our food very quickly! We ordered a few different things to try from their menu as well as a couple coffees. Everything turned out excellent, and we were super happy and full when we left our table. We would definitely come back! Highly recommend their iced coffees, they are waffles, and biscuits and gravy! You order at the counter and get a number. Food will be brought to your table! Very easy and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

They have many food options and everything I've tried so far has been perfectly cooked, seasoned and full of flavor! The coffee has also been great. I really have no complaints other than I wish the dining room was more cozie and comforting-but that's just my opinion man.✌🏻

We were looking for someplace to grab some breakfast before our grocery shopping. Press is on Monmouth and a Cafe so that works. I was able to get a burger and walk a few blocks for a Monster. The burger was really good (I like sandwiches for breakfast). If you order a coffee you'll need to pick it up at the counter. The cashier taking your order seats you. Just barely under $20 each for us to eat.

The restaurant has been listed on OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2021, based on over 10.5 million reviews from verified diners. Additionally, it was named 'best overall in Cincinnati/Dayton.'
Delicious - first time visit. Our server was Gina excellent server and pleasant, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our meals were superb. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. Outside seating as well as indoor. They offer a full bar. Pastas were so fresh. We will definitely be back. We parked across the street at the public parking area - easy access and $8 for the evening.

I have visited Pepp and Dolores a couple of times, and each experience has been exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and makes great recommendations if you are uncertain about what to try. The pasta is fresh, and the flavors really stand out. It is one of my favorite spots in downtown Cincinnati for authentic Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it.

We had a great experience here! The food was delicious. It was setup such that you order all of your courses at the beginning, and then the team staggers the arrival of the food at a pace such that you're not waiting long between courses, but also not rushed. It was hard to narrow down exactly what we wanted because the menu looked so good. The house made ricotta bread was some of the best bread I've ever had. They don't have a dessert menu, so go in knowing that. They leave you with like an Italian cookie when they bring the bill. It was good! Overall, would highly recommend! The service and waiting staff was friendly and professional too.
Cory F — Google review
We had a really nice late lunch here. We were running late but they still accomodated us. Our server was extremely kind and made lots of great food recommendations. We loved everything we ordered, especially the pesto and meatball pasta. The seafood on the ravioli was a little too pungent for me, not as light fresh tasting as I hoped. Wine list was pretty easy to navigate and I was pleasantly surprised by some awesome glass pour options that weren't just lame/cheap house wines. We sat upstairs in the veranda near a window, which we great on a sunny afternoon. (I have sat in the basement before but didn't love it.) Still surprised and disappointed by thunderdome restaurants not offering desserts, even at Pepp. But the limocello service almost made up for it.

This place will always be a hit. Upstairs is a little more loud and casual with a beautiful patio while downstairs offers a moody date night scene. The spicy vodka will always be a hit and the house made ricotta is dreamy. You really can't go wrong with anything on this menu!

Libby's Southern Comfort is a cozy former grocery store turned restaurant in Covington, offering a blend of Midwest and Southern cuisines. The menu features classic comfort dishes like mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, po' boys, and crowd-pleasing fried chicken. In addition to these staples, the restaurant also incorporates influences from Cincinnati and northern Kentucky with unique offerings such as goetta hush puppies and pimento cheese fritters.
First time trying Libby’s and the food did not disappoint. The fried chicken sandwich was massive and the batter was light and crispy. I could eat this sandwich weekly. The fries were 10/10 and the flavor on the oyster po boy was great; super soft bread. Service was attentive and drinks were good. The dessert menu looked incredible. I was really hoping the crème pies were available, sadly sold out! We snagged a bread pudding to go and it barely made it home! We will definitely be throwing Libby’s into our dinner rotation.

The food was good. (The wife wanted more southern choices). The portobello sandwich was messy but tasty. You’ll just need to ask for extra napkins. The hot honey chicken sandwich was tasty as well, would have preferred it to be a little more messy though. The seasons fries were crispy and had great flavor. We liked the atmosphere, it was open with a rustic decor. We were there during great weather so it was open air which made it even more pleasant. Service was very good. Definitely recommend.

Libby’s Southern Comfort is incredible! My best friend and I stopped here for lunch during our girls trip, and I’m still thinking about it. The hot honey chicken sandwich was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mac n cheese? Unreal. Creamy, rich, and totally unforgettable. The restaurant has a modern, welcoming vibe, and our server was amazing—so friendly and full of great energy. Even though I live four hours away, I’ve already told everyone I know about this place. I’m 100% coming back with my husband. Libby’s is a must-visit!
Gena H — Google review
Stopped in at Libby’s at 2:45 today (Saturday) for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty other than one table of four. We made it halfway across the restaurant and were asked to wait a moment while the bartender/hostess cleaned a table. She didn’t bother to wipe down the booth seat which was covered in sesame seeds and other debris. Once seated, our server quickly came by to get our drink order. The entire visit, the bartender/hostess and two servers were either on their phones, sitting with the other occupied table and talking loudly, or visibly eating food in the kitchen. Our server was the only floor staff who kept herself busy refilling straws, cleaning, refilling sugars, etc. I ordered the shrimp roll and Southern Mac and cheese with a sweet tea. Hubby ordered the two piece chicken with Mac and cheese, fries, and sweet tea. The shrimp roll description gave the impression of big flavors. The only real flavor came from the Grippos bbq chips. There was an excellent quantity of shrimp, but even with the old bay/mayo seasoning it was bland. I was excited for the Southern Mac and cheese - but was disappointed in the flavor as well. No cheesy flavor, no southern kick at the end, not even a bread crumb. It was almost like plain Mac noodles with cheddar melted on top. Hubby’s fried chicken was better. Good crunch on the chicken skin, nice brine albeit a little salty. The meat was super juicy. His Mac and cheese was also mediocre. The fries were tasty, but not house made. The biscuit was “fine”. The sweet tea was perfect. I’ve never in my life had bland Southern food until today. My husband’s granny from Alabama would not approve.
Jen M — Google review
Libby’s was fun to visit with friends for dinner, its location is quaint and is a bit small, but there is ample outdoor seating if you don’t mind the heat. High level, service was great & food was good, but there was nothing memorable enough on the menu to make me desire to return. The fried green tomato batter was thin which caused it to flake off when I cut into it. Wouldn’t order again. The avocado sandwich was good. I had to cut the sandwich myself upon arrival. The fries were tasty too. Service was great, they executed all of our dietary modifications excellently. One callout out- the lack of other tables/customers had the waitress rushing our meal unintentionally.

Visited on a Saturday around dinner time. Busy but not slammed. No wait for a 2 top table. Server was great! Checked back often but was not pushy or made us feel rushed at all. Drinks: Cherrwine Bourbon Slush FTW! This is a great cocktail. Appetizer: Goetta Hush Puppies - The reason we came. Weird texture; I'm sure from the combo. Not off putting, just different from expectations. I was expecting typical, light brown southern hush puppies with a little goetta. They were dark, almost burnt and tasted that way. No goetta flavor, no light batter... Very disappointing. 1/10. The remoulade sauce was great but couldn't save them. Food: Hot Honey chicken sandwich was great! Very crispy and juicy...not an easy combo. Hot Honey sauce was perfect..slight heat, sweet and not too much of it to be over powering! Bun was perfectly toasted! 10/10 would order again. Cole Slaw (on the side). Not sure if it was homemade or food service, but great flavor, not overly dry or moist. Nearly a perfect slaw. Picked onions were STRONG! (I'm not a fan of picked onions in general so....) Garlic Mashed Potatoes: Where's the garlic? Very little flavor of any kind in this scoop of mashed potatoes. Ordinary and plain. Nothing wrong but nothing to write home about. 3/10 Willy Burger. Great flavor, albeit very dry. Smoky undertones. Hate to ruin the flavor with a condiment, but was necessary due to dryness. 6/10 = Would be higher but can you say DRY! Southern Mac n Cheese. Better than the mashed potatoes. Good flavor, gooey cheese. 8/10 Overall, 4 cocktails ($40 - not bad at all!) , 2 sandwiches and an appetizer ($57).... Total: $97 pre tip. (don't forget the 3% credit card fee! I mean, come on! Yes it is clearly on the menu but who honestly goes out with that much cash for a meal these days!?) So $100 and $10 to park in the lot across the street. Wasn't busy and no close on street or free parking (maybe there is but not familiar enough with the area to know). $130 meal that wasn't impressive or anything special. YMMV.

Went here for breakfast on a Sat morning. Food was amazing!! It was 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the avocado toast, my husband had the cured salmon toast and we shared the potatoes with cheddar cheese. Everything was delicious! I also had a mimosa which they make with grapefruit juice & a bit of turmeric syrup. Loved it! Unfortunately we are from South Florida so we won't be able to enjoy this little gem in OTR often :( If you are a local, go! It won't dissapoint!!

My wife and I came for Sunday Brunch and had a great experience. We took a look at the menu before coming so price wasn’t a surprise like some other reviews mention and while portion sizes were not gargantuan they weren’t pathetic either I felt they reflected a size that was appropriate for a healthy diet (meaning not a over abundance like most places). I believe they were mostly locally sourced which is a plus in our book. The owner came over and said hello and was incredibly inviting and welcoming. We felt very at home here and really enjoyed the environment, experience and of course the food.

An all-around favorite for any meal or beverage need -- I cannot wait to see them re-open for in-house dining again (love their patio!!) and the staff is quite simply, always so pleasant to interact with. I went there with a friend for brunch. Our waitress is very attentive. However, the food did not live up my expectations. First of all, the rice bowl lacks flavor. If the chef expects to elevate a dish by adding kimchi, I think the choice of kimchi is very important. Aged kimchi may work better for this dish. The rice is also undercooked, which is hard in the middle. Second, the portion of the salad is quite small, compared to what you get at the Eagle. A lot of the ingredients were the same as the rice bowl, which is not very exciting... I personally found the dressing a bit too sour. I enjoyed my latte and cured salmon toast. But I don't think I will be visiting here again...

B&A Street Kitchen is a modern eatery in Cincinnati, offering a fusion of Tex-Mex and Southern cuisine. The restaurant features an industrial-chic ambiance and provides all-day service, including a walk-up window for convenience. Located at 1500 Race St, the establishment has garnered praise for its quick service and pleasant atmosphere. One unique aspect is the ordering process - patrons place their orders at the register and join a waitlist for tables, adding to the charm of the experience.
After a lot of research of where we should have brunch, we landed on B&A and we were definitely not disappointed. It's a small place in the up and coming OTR neighborhood with BIG flavors. From the fresh biscuits to the craft sodas, no one in our party had any complaints. Reasonably priced for the large portions you receive and very friendly staff. It's a table service hybrid type of restaurant. You order at the register when you first walk in and then they bring your food to you and keep up with keeping your drink full and table clear of extra plates as needed and they were always on top of it for the duration of our visit. Everything was clean, service was fast, and the food was great. Will definitely return when I'm in the Cincy area again.

First and last time we will go there. The owner told the patron with a service animal that if the dog barked again, they had to leave. However, she didn't say anything to the worker who was digging in her mouth and didn't wash her hands after before serving a drink and food. The food was OK, but the drink was not sweet enough for me and honestly tasted like the espresso shot had been sitting there too long.

It's a little place but they offer a lot! Between pick up orders, outside seating, a walk up window and excellent food it's worth the slight wait. They even have 2 mens/women's rest rooms instead of those tight gods'awful stalls. Will be going back!

The staff and atmosphere were both nice. The service was exceptionally quick. I was not impressed with the food. Most of it was bland and boring. The goetta was disappointing. Not salty enough or flavorful. Coffee tasted burnt. One food item that was really good was the butter that came with a biscuit. It almost tasted like butter and sour cream mixed together. Delicious!

One of the best brunches I've had in Cincinnati in a while. Service was great and the food was perfect. Ordered a Goetta up and go with the egg over easy. Egg was cooked to perfection and the sandwich was delicious. The pancakes were not overly sweet and the latte was well done. We'll gladly be back again soon!

A ton of very good food choices for breakfast and lunch served fast. Lots of build-your-own and protein options. Omelettes are great, as are the churro pancakes. The salads are filling. I usually add a side of chicken to everything. Popular on the weekends, so get there earlier to shorten your wait. They have a pickup window and outside seating is available.

Ordered 3 steak kids meals, 2 sushi rolls, and Ichiban… Total $175.00 I understand that prices have increased and the photo of a menu online might be before Covid, but going from $14.25 to $25 per kids meal is a bit ridiculous… roughly 75% increase. If we just estimated total cost from the menus online vs today, it was $80 to now $175 for our meal. By the way when I asked for the total, the person couldn’t give it to me since she would need to ring it up in the system. I think someone should be able to give some kind of estimate or a cost of each item as they taking the order. The picture is the $25 kids meal (not including the white rice). Bonus, if you pay in credit card they charge a fee. By the way, the food wasn’t anything special. It was decent and I know take out doesn’t do it justice but still wasn’t anything I care to order again.

This use to be my go to place (new years eve, valentine's day etc). My husband and I went Saturday night 11/12 for a date night, special treat. We were already seated with another couple. The waitress had already brought us drinks, soups and salads and our orders on the board in the back for next chef available to cook for us. The hostess decided to seat another couple at our table last minute. This wouldn't be a problem but the lady in that party had a list of allergies one being soy. She wanted just plain shrimp and plain rice. Why didn't they make her food at a separate grill? They did not!! So all of our food had no soy sauce no butters or extra seasonings. If I'm going to pay $5.75 for a bowl of fried rice it better be tasty. So we ate our bland food and left. We have attempted to report this to the manager and to the owners with no response. It was my son's favorite restaurant and I hate to tell my son (under 10) we will no longer be returning to his favorite restaurant.

We (4 of us) traveled an hour to get there to have dinner before our experience at the Dent Schoolhouse. We arrived around 6pm and were told that since we didn't have reservations (I didn't see anything on the website about making them), it would be 7pm before we could be seated with another group. We were worried that we might not make our 8pm time with Dent, so we opted to leave. We were encouraged to go to the bar area instead. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers with fries, a chicken quesadilla, and 2 sushi rolls that took well over 45 minutes to get. The bar area was not crowded. We almost got up to leave, but that's finally when our food was brought out. The food was just ok. Certainly not what we had been looking forward to. Disappointed for sure.
Laurie F — Google review
For the price we really expected more. The food was not bad... just bland. Not a lot of flavor at all. The service was just ok. The chairs, sitting at the hibachi, were too low, so the experience of eating was strange. The Pina Colada my wife had was simply awful, and we sent it back. There are no plans for us to go back. When you spend over $200 on a meal, you'd expect a lot more.

Ivory House, located at 2998 Harrison Ave., Westwood, offers a fresh take on nostalgic steak and seafood dishes. The menu features a variety of options such as filet mignon, grilled tuna, skirt steak in red chimichurri, and even Japanese A5 wagyu strip. The restaurant boasts a large selection of wines and clever cocktails to accompany the meals. Guests can enjoy the covered patio which is perfect for both steak enthusiasts and wine lovers.
We had a birthday party and the service and cuisine were of the highest order. Every detail of our evening was superb thanks to the thoughtful staff. Our compliments to the chef for creating each incredible dish they served us including Crab cakes, steak, sea bass, shrimp and tuna.

Went here because it has a reputation of great steaks. The atmosphere was superb. Live piano music. The service was by far the best thing here. The dinner rolls were quite addictive. We ordered the sea bass entre and the prime rib special. The sea bass was huge and tasty. The prime rib was also generous in size. Cooked as requested, but tasted more like a steak than prime rib. The desserts were ok...not the reason for coming All in all, glad we did it once. It was a bit of. Drive to get here so probably won't do it again given the distance and cost.

Great food! We ordered the tomato bruschetta as a starter and it was excellent! I personally ordered the pork chop special and I must say I believe it was the best pork chop I have ever had! It was tender, moist, and flavorful! All of our meals were outstanding!

We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House, and the entire experience was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Elise, made the evening truly exceptional—she was informative, professional, and genuinely kind. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Cincinnati.

This place is amazing! Great food, great service, nice atmosphere and good place for any occasion. We are very happy to celebrate our 7th year anniversary here with special friends. We love this place. I highly recommend it.

This place is unbelievable, we celebrated our anniversary dinner at the Ivory House. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. We went for the Seafood and the dishes were delicious even though they specialty is Steaks. The young man (Rain) playing the piano was so talented which made our evening even more special.

Had the ultimate surf and turf (or something like that) 35 oz tomahawk, 2 lobster tails, 4 shrimp and 4 scallops. Also comes with two sides. It's ALOT of food and everything was wonderful. Service was excellent - very attentive. Overall, very highly recommended. For the money, it was actually a good deal.

We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House last week, eager to try some unique menu items. The appetizers were a mix—beet-soaked deviled eggs missed the mark with unexpected saltiness, but the French-style mussels and lamb lollipops were excellent. We rarely find mussels done this well in Cincinnati. For entrees, I ordered the NY steak with carrots and truffle mushroom risotto, a perfect 11/10. My husband’s pork chop was nearly as good, though the creamed corn was underwhelming; however, the scalloped potatoes were amazing. One drawback was being seated beside a family with young kids, which dampened the atmosphere a bit on our kid-free evening. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back!

IHOP is a long-standing chain serving American breakfast and diner fare. There are no complaints, all good things from us. The place was clean, the workers were nice, friendly and efficient. The order was correct and the server fantastic at her job.
First time visiting an IHOP, and we were not disappointed. The staff was so kind, the food was delicious, and the service was fast

This Is a Joke Ordered chicken and waffles. Got a pancake and chicken. That’s not even close. Called to fix it — on hold for 20 minutes. Finally spoke to someone and all they said was, “We’ll give you a credit for next time.” Next time?? Like I’m ever coming back. Completely ruined my morning. Never again.
Kay — Google review
When I walked into this IHOP, I was frustrated right away. There were plenty of empty seats but lots of people waiting. I saw four servers chatting in a corner while guests waited. The hostess said the wait would be about 10 minutes, which started things off with a bad taste. My friend had already warned me that this location had poor service, so I was prepared. After three groups walked out, we were finally seated. One server took our drink order, then another, Janilee J, came by and said the first one forgot to put it in. From that moment on, Janilee took over and completely turned things around. Her service was phenomenal. She checked on us often, kept our drinks full, and was very attentive. The food came out quickly, was perfectly seasoned, and even looked great on the plate. I came in expecting the worst but left impressed. Thanks to Janilee and the kitchen, it ended up being one of the best IHOP visits I have had.

Only problem? Wait time. But when you're here to relax after a stressful day? The staff is so lovely. The food is comforting, the staff give you time to decide and talk to others with your party. They handle rude customers well. A lovely experience I've had here. Even with the set backs they faced from issues, they make sure to work around them to give you great service.

I brought my daughter here this morning for her 14th birthday to have breakfast together. She was so excited to wear her tiara and birthday shirt and have tres leches pancakes. We were so disappointed. The service and food were just awful. Our stomachs hurt for the next few hours after eating only a bit of the food. The waitress Georgette made it a point to dump her feelings on us about the day she was having and was clearly in a mood. The environment was so negative. I wasted $38 on two meals. That’s just sad in this economy. This will be the first and last time we visit the Newport location. Do better IHOP.

My wife and I were looking for a late night place to eat in at and IHOP was our choice this evening. Daman was our server and he was 10/10 amazing!!! He was very friendly but never bothered us unnecessarily. We had everything we needed the whole time and full drinks. The food was also great. It was hot and fresh. Clean restaurant. All around a lovely experience. :)

Japanese restaurant
Cafe Mochiko is a cozy Japanese eatery that offers a unique twist on traditional pastries and savory dishes. Run by acclaimed chefs Erik Bentz and Elaine Townsend, the cafe has gained recognition for its innovative culinary creations. While specializing in Japanese treats like chrysanthemum cake and black sugar monkey bread, the menu also features Filipino-inspired delights such as ube hayala croissants and sweet corn bibingka.
As a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine, I was genuinely surprised by the creativity at this place! Every dish had a familiar foundation with a subtle, delightful twist that made it stand out. Everything I tried was spot-on. I’ve heard great things about their bakery too, but since we went in the evening, most of the baked goods were already sold out—definitely going back earlier next time!
Srinjana D — Google review
Where do I start! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. My husband and I stop in almost weekly whether it be for pastries or dinner. The rotating ramens keep you coming back! If you wake up early on the weekend run and get a box of pastries before sellout. The hardest part is not ordering one of everything everytime you go. My husband who loves ramen orders the burger every-time we come in. He claims it’s the best in town! I always get the ramen, so we share plates. Staff is always a pleasure, the ambiance is exactly what you want out of a ramen shop, you will spend the rest of your life comparing other ramens to this ramen. I wish they offered carry out dinner as I am a take-away girly, but if we’re doing date night and I’m leaving the house for dinner this is where we’re going! Oh.. don’t forget the Shokupan!!
Mae K — Google review
Will have to come back another time when earlier in the day since it seems they run out of some of their quicker-selling items fast, but this spot is cute with very kind employees. The pastries we got to try were excellent! I especially loved the sweet corn pastry and tea cookie. If you come later there are not as many options, but I plan to come back and try the ramen for sure. Definitely check this little spot out. Great place to get some studying done too. Nice, clean, and calm space.
Kerry K — Google review
My first coming to this place. I ordered the junk ramen. The broth was so delicious. It was perfect for a cold fall evening. It was warm and had a wonderful umami flavor. The pork was so tender I could sit here all day talk about this delicious ramen. The service was awesome and the staff is very attentive. I see why people rave about this place. The food, staff and atmosphere was great. I will come back for the pastries.
Jane C — Google review
While the atmosphere, service, and location were fantastic, I was disappointed in the food. I would give the Cincinnati Style Ramen a 5/10 and say it is not worth the hype. I make various ramens from scratch at home and try as many new places as I can. Ramen and sushi are my favorite food. While I enjoy Cincinnati style chili, the ramen was lacking in flavor. The broth was a little on the bland side and lacked a good flavor “kick” that the ramen needed to stand out. The noodles were also not my favorite, as they felt “spongy” and the egg was overcooked. I would never order this again. The Hokkaido Smashburger was a 6.5/10. Same as with the ramen, it lacked the “kick” of flavor it needed to not just be “another burger.” And that is what it felt like, just another burger and not something to go out of my way to get. Overall, I feel both of these items have good potential, they just need some work in the flavor department.
Koty S — Google review
The food was excellent! The Wagu beef burger and fries was the bomb! The spicy Ramen was just right in terms of heat and the broth was favorable. Will definitely be back! The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo until the end!
Jerolyn B — Google review
I got the Cinci style Ramen. It was good but overwhelming flavor. I plan to go back but get a more traditional dish. And I really wanna try their pastries, I hear it’s delicious. Otherwise it was a cool place and staff were friendly and attentive.
Christine F — Google review
Bakery items taste unique but are iced cold. Gives me the feeling of eating left over bread from the day before. Would rated much higher if it was fresh and hot. Ramen noodles have nice texture. Soup base is not bad as well but the small quantity of toppings makes the experience feel like it’s all about the noodles. Missing that wholesome feeling.

The place was good. No waiting. Take off 4. We had s sandwich, BBQ ribs as main dishes plus onion rings as an appetizer. Onion rings were too crispy on the hard-to-bite side. The burnt end sandwich was great, so were the BBQ ribs. I recommend the place, but stay away from onion rings.

My friend and I went on June 6, 2025. We had a good server, brought the salads, fresh warm bread, but I asked for a medium cooked steak and when it was brought to our table, it was rare, still bleeding. We had to wait for a bit before the server came back to our table and as soon as she saw the steak, she commented “that is not medium” and took it away. By the time I was served the steak for the second time, it was medium rare, so I waited for the server to come around to our table and she just looked at the steak and took it. I told the server to box up the steak after it was cooked correctly for me to take home, since my friend a had finished eating his dinner. The manager did come over to talk to us and apologized for the way the steak had not been prepared as asked, and stated that I would not be charged for me meal, and I response was “ I did not get to eat my dinner.”We did not look at the food in the bag before we left the restaurant but I could see there was another salad and some bread added too. When I got home, I was still hungry and was looking forward to eating my dinner and when I opened the container the steak and potato was in, the steak was the same one that I had cut into 2 times and sent back, but they burned the steak, it was well well done. I could not eat it at all. I did eat the salad and potato. We are not from that area, but I would not go back to eat there again after sending home a burnt steak.

Parked near the entrance. There's a fairly sharp turn at the front where traffic comes in straight off the road. My mother(in her seventies) cannot walk very fast and had to wait for what felt like several minutes to cross from the parking area to the side walk despite being in the crosswalk in front of bucca di bepos. Felt pretty unsafe. Cannot say this was entirely because of the drivers either, just poor design.

My husband got the full rack ribs, tender tasty flavorful with the best mac and cheese and the biggest loaded baked potato. I git the Bayou pasta (shrimp, scallops and real authentic crab meat it was to die for. Their side salad is so large u can share. Prices r very reasonable. Nestled in Northern Kentucky, the Greyhound Tavern is a charming colonial-style restaurant that has been delighting locals with its comforting American cuisine since the 1920s. With its rustic decor featuring wood paneling and cozy fireplaces, this family-friendly eatery creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings. The menu boasts a variety of hearty dishes, but it’s particularly famous for its secret-recipe fried chicken, which takes center stage during family-style dinners on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Had Valentine Day dinner here and it was wonderful. Made reservation and arrived early and was seated close to our reservation time which was 830pm. Once we was seated our server Edward came our and took our drink order. We browse the menu which was the Valentine Day menu and we both order steak. I ordered the 14 oz New York strip and my wife ordered the barrel cut filet with a salad and I order the soup which was a Cajun shrimp corn chowder. The steak had great flavor and the herb butter was wonderful on top of it. The scallops potatoes was cheesy and good. We also ordered two cakes a chocolate and vanilla with strawberry and a strawberry syrup. Overall it was a good experience and the service was wonderful.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Food was good, though a bit lacking in variety. Bacon was severely overcooked, but the chicken was the star! Service was great. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you go during peak hours.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during Burger Week. The onion rings were large and incredibly crispy, making it easy to share half an order with someone else. The burgers were perfectly cooked and tender, with a magical sauce that elevated the taste. The fries were also very good. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience and would recommend!

Honestly a 10/10 chicken place. Has an elegant rich atmosphere but respectable prices. Recently added to the B line, their bourbon selection is far above average. Would absolutely do this again.

Fried chicken was 1/2 its previous size and dripping in grease. Hot Brown's presentation was a sloppy goey mess. It had obviously been microwaved as everything was flat and run together. It was unappealing, nearly stomach turning mess. The bread underneath was soggy, not toasted.
Amy M — Google review
We ate here for the first time on 7/16/25 due to the great reviews on this site. Hy husband got the chicken and said it was really good. I got the open face roast beef and it was good. We loved the cheese sticks too. However, the sides left a lot to be desired. We both thought the coleslaw was sour, too much vinegar and not enough sugar. The green beans had a good flavor, if they would leave out the sugar. I cook southern and never have I ever had green beans with sugar in them. I couldn’t eat them either. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned and edible but mediocre. We got the peanut butter pie and he said it was good. Great waitress and atmosphere. Should we go back, they need to add more sides to the menu.

The first night we came, it was a wonderful evening being seated in the cozy tea room area, not crowded or cramped feeling. Soft big band jazz playing, clean, pleasant atmosphere with upscale decor with interesting rustic aspects. I had the grilled fish special which was Haddock I believe, and it was so delicious. Wonderful glass of house Cabernet. Amazing waiter, an older gentleman who was so attentive and friendly. Another night we were seated in a larger area filled with customers. It felt a bit too crowded for me, tables too close together but still a nice evening. A booth would have felt a bit more private probably. My salmon harvest salad was yummy. Everyone was happy with their selections but one person felt a little disappointed his was served with rye bread, that was not even toasted, and just looked like generic bread from the grocery.

Restaurant
Walt's Hitching Post in Fort Wright is a rustic-chic, horse racing-themed smokehouse that has been around since the 1950s. The restaurant offers classic menu items like fried chicken, country fried steak, and fried chicken livers. Known for their delicious ribs with Walt's signature secret sauce, the place also provides private party space for various events. Additionally, they offer takeout options for their entire menu from ribs to steaks to pork chops and sandwiches.
We had an excellent meal at Walt's. I had the Affirmed filet over Gouda potato pancake, spinach, and onion straws. My husband had the special which was a bone in ribeye with Bleu cheese and blackened scallops. Our salads were also fresh and delicious, BLT wedge and the Big Blue. Their salted rye bread is the bomb. The servicers were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Terri C — Google review
We live in the area and decided to come to Walt's for our first time based on local recommendations. I got the elk ribeye and my wife got a bone in beef ribeye with crab cake. For dessert we got the cheesecake and carrot cake. The food was very good. Steaks cooked well for the most part, definitely not overdone. I visit many higher end restaurants around the country while traveling for work and this was the best cheesecake I've had at any restaurant so far. Now the reason for the review, we arrived five minutes before our reservation and were not seated until ten minutes after our reservation. While waiting, many parties (two or so couples and two or 3 larger groups) large and small were coming in behind us and being immediately seated while we still waited. We were told they were late for their earlier reservations and we had to wait because they were backed up. This was confusing, because many tables were already set up and waiting, we weren't waiting on patrons to finish dining. In response to a complaint by us they comped one of our desserts, but even so, during the discussion the manager dismissively implied that's just the way it is but she'll comp a dessert for us. This was highly unusual service compared to other high end restaurants I've visited in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Chicago. Never before have I had to wait because other parties had not arrived. Food was great but I will not be coming back to Walt's.

Great restaurant with really good food (not amazing). The bison was really good and the chicken was nothing special. It was fine though. The halit special is good if you like fish. The mac n cheese wasn't great. The service was good and it was a nice atmosphere that wasn't too tight or crammed. The free bread is amazing.

Old school type of restaurant, reminds me of some place. My parents would have visited. The menu offered a variety of choices, I found a family favorite hot slaw, identical to how I grew up. I had the steak and mushrooms very flavorful. Would order it again. The service was prompt and fast.

The best thing i got was the bread 10/10 i had no idea was completely surprised how good it is, it has a salty crispy crunchy outside and a warm solf inside no butter needed i would eat a whole loaf, the Oysters Rockefeller 7/10, the hot slaw 5/10 the taste is good but only giving 5 tiny pieces of bacon is highly disappointing. the steak 7/10 pretty good no complaints. The ribs are cooked great and have a old style bbq sauce on them, but to me it tasted like straight tomato paste 3/10
Robert W — Google review
I took my mother here for her birthday and we really enjoyed our experience. The ribs were the talk of the table, our server got us the other type they have available to see if we liked them any better, they were just not our "style" but the steak, house salad, mashed potatoes and rye bread were delicious! The beer/wine list was impressive. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy in my opinion, come as you are but shower first 😜 We had a great time at dinner and appreciate the staff for being there to help us navigate our first visit!

We just went yesterday for the first time. We were celebrating our 45th Anniversary so we wanted something extra special and it was. Our sever Nick was great and totally on top of everything. The food, well where do I begin? We started with their salted rye bread. Oh my gosh I've never had bread like that before. It was out of this world, but I ate too much. Our Onion soup was good. Hubby got the Wedge salad which was huge and really good too. My tossed salad was fine. I got the half slab of the fall of the bone ribs. They were good, not great, but I was definitely happy with them. My husband got the 18oz. Bone in Ribeye that was very good. Our sides were the cowboy baked potato and these to die for roasted brussel sprouts. Get them! We splurged and ordered and extra side of the Lobster Mac and cheese. It was worth the $25 price. We took home a piece of carrot cake since they said it was so good, which it was. My only complaint and I hate to even say this was I thought we might get a little something for our 45th Anniversary since my husband told them when making the reservation, but we didn't. It by no means took away from our phenomenal dinner. If you are looking for a special place to go for dinner I totally recommend Walt's Hitching Post.

One of the best breakfast spots in Greater Cincinnati; incredible, fresh food with great service in a classic atmosphere. Don’t let the “Best Western” part fool you, it’s in gorgeous 1925 Tudor hotel, worth the trip just to see the classic lobby and corridors. But the FOOD!! So tasty, and really competitively priced. I love the ambiance in there as well! They have areas you can rent out for private parties and they have a nice outdoor area. Highly recommend.

It’s was my 53rd birthday dinner and they had a table with a “Happy Birthday” greeting waiting for me. The service was excellent and attentive. The prime rib was quite simply the best I’ve ever had — tender and flavorful! The whipped potatoes were also delicious! And the “40 Year Old Fashioned” was the best post-dinner cocktail, served complete with a signature ice cube. I would recommend this place for anyone celebrating any occasion. Thanks for the excellent birthday meal, guys! You made this Pop-Pop feel very special!

I was craving prime rib for a good half a year and finally decided on this place to get it. We made asked the hostess if they had prime rib she said yes. However after ordering our server said they were out. I was heartbroken but decided it’s ok. Then the manager came out apologized and asked if we could wait 10 min as she might have one left available. Miraculously I was able to get the prime rib!!! And yes it was worth all the wait and hype. My partner got the Branzino which was amazing too.

I had my birthday dinner there on Monday July 28. My first time to the restaurant but I decided on it due to them having prime rib! First off, we had a beautiful private room (Chess Room). My only critique on the room is that was warm but then we found the air conditioner unit right behind me. We turned it on and it got much more comfortable. The food was incredible. That mushroom soup…….OMG. The prime rib, flawless. Huge cut and perfectly medium rare. Our server Sebastion was very attentive and tolerant of some of our more brash behavior 😆. Dessert was amazing, that carrot cake should be used to send the armies of Troy abroad. Helen has nothing on that cake. All in all, thanks for a great night! We will be back!

Italian restaurant
Bar
Pizza restaurant
A Tavola Bar + Trattoria, located in Over-The-Rhine and Madeira, is an excellent place to enjoy Italian food. The menu features pizzas, pastas, salads, and more along with an impressive wine selection and house-made cocktails.
I went with the bartender's recommendation of Chicken Parm with vodka sauce (off menu tweak) instead of the traditional tomato sauce that it comes with and it was a delight. For the price, two pieces of chicken and the light flavorful vodka sauce was such a great value. My wife got their potato gnocchi with vodka sauce and it was incredibly tasty and filling. Paired with a bottle of Moscato and Caesar/House salad respectively, it was a perfect night out. We left with a take-home pizza kit and a pint of dark chocolate gelato that was super rich. Can't wait to try the pizza after reading the rave reviews and with dough balls going for 4 bucks, if it's remotely good it won't be our last.

On a Wednesday evening five of us stopped for dinner. The restaurant was busy but we were seated within minutes. Our waiter was very helpful and pleasant. We had a few pizzas, tagliatelle, and cacio e pepe. The pizza and tagliatelle were very good. The pasta in the cacio e pepe was under cooked and it lacked fresh ground pepper. The service was very good.
Terri M — Google review
The dough in pizza is airy with a crispy crunch. it's delicious and worth trying. But seasonal pizza with peas is too salty and greasy for me.
Native C — Google review
The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. The house-made gelato was the highlight—absolutely delicious! The service was also solid, which I appreciated. However, the chicken parmesan was a bit rubbery. While it looked good and the flavor was good, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations, especially given the price and the glowing reviews. Maybe the restaurant’s popularity has more to do with its great location? 3 to 4 stars

This somewhat-upscale Italian restaurant offers delicious food and great service in a unique atmosphere. It was a nice change of pace from our normal choices. Probably the only negative is the lack of a real kids menu, which can be a nuisance when trying to feed younger kids. It makes a great date night option though, or for meals with a more mature crowd, and would even be fine for families with older kids. If you are just looking for affordable regular pizzas, this is probably not the best place, but they do offer a wide variety of offerings for those seeking something different. We will certainly be back some time our tiny daughter is not with us, to try more of their offerings. I found the tagliatelle to be a hearty meal, the flavor and textures of the noodles and beef good individually and together. My wife really enjoyed the pizza Francisco, which is built on a vodka sauce she loved. Our very young daughter was not a fan of the chicken meatball we tried to feed har, although she happily ate a good portion of the bread served with it; my wife and I did enjoy finishing off what she wouldn't eat.

Stopped by for the first time. The place is nicely decorated and wasn’t too busy at 2 pm on a Saturday. Babs was our server and she was very helpful in deciding on our meal. We had the arancini, wagyu meatball, and the fig and prosciutto pizza. Hubby had an iced tea. The food was delish. The arancini are bite size which was very nice. The meatball was moist and flavorful and came with ricotta and ciabatta bread. The fig and prosciutto pizza was sweet and peppery and amazing. Top shelf ingredients to be sure. All around a great visit. Four out of five stars for service as hubby never got a refill on his tea.
Jen M — Google review
I thought that the food at this restaurant was very good and the service was excellent. Although I rated these areas highly, I gave this a three-star because of the price. I ordered an appetizer; mozzarella wrapped in panko coated zucchini with a sauce, which was very good, but I got two of them for $9. My entree was spinach ricotta ravioli of which I got maybe 10 raviolis, no bread or salad added for $19. I would never go anywhere and pay $2 for one tiny, square ravioli. If a side salad was included or bread was served with the entree it would make a difference. I can't imagine it would be that great of an expense to add a small side salad. Although I thought the food was good, the expense is a deterrent to me.

I love the ambiance of this place. Service was great and food was even better! I love the fig pizza and anything with goat cheese has a special place in my heart. I haven’t tried their pasta but if it’s anything like the pizza, it’ll be delicious.

Brunch restaurant
Teller's Of Hyde Park is a unique and expansive contemporary eatery located in the historic Hyde Park Savings and Loan building. The restaurant offers an eclectic menu with a focus on Cajun dishes, along with an extensive selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. Guests have praised the friendly and accommodating staff as well as the delicious brunch options such as Banana Foster's French Toast and Chicken and Waffles. The atmosphere is described as quiet, delightful, and perfect for a fun dining experience.
I had a wonderful brunch experience at the Teller's of Hyde Park. I ordered the Banana Foster's French Toast and it was absolutely delicious! I was able to have a couple bites of their Chicken and Waffles as well and it was incredibly tasty as well. The service was exceptional, and the location (inside a bank) is unique and made for a fun experience. Overall, I would highly recommend coming for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you'll not be disappointed!
Alex C — Google review
My first time, and I will definitely come back. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They were able to recommend a better seating for our lunch reservation than we had originally chosen. I love the menu choices. Not too many options, but something that could please anyone. I liked that they had a lot of Cajun dishes. I'm not sure if that is a consistent menu theme. It did take a little long to get our food, but not terrible. I hope to be back there soon.

Went before the dinner rush. Made for a quiet, delightful dining experience. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. And the entrees were delicious.

I have been here a few times. Food quality is pretty consistent. Nice ribeye and filet. The service was good, dessert is awesome.

I was looking for a good brunch so after the race and was not disappointed. Delicious food and the house-made Bloody wasn't bad, either.
Halbert W — Google review
Nice restaurant with good ambience and the service was great. I tried their etouffe, which was good but not great... I'll go back sometime & try other food to have a better review.
Chris C — Google review
I haven't been here in a year or so. Why did I stay away so long? I was very surprised and pleased with the menu. Lots of salads, pasta and sandwiches to pick from and the Bloody Mary options were very innovative. I had the Cajun Fafalle. The cream sauce that blanketed the shrimp, sausage and chicken was flavorful and not too heavy. I totally enjoyed it and the lunch portion was plenty to eat and take some home for dinner. Our Server was attentive and made sure we had all we needed. I won't stay away for long again.

Good brunch! A group of 4, we were seated immediately on a Sunday morning after first trying 2 other places in the area with 45 minute wait times. All of us enjoyed our food, and service was attentive and appropriate. Highly recommend the breakfast pizza!

Restaurant
Commonwealth Bistro offers a modern twist on Southern cuisine and boasts an extensive wine and cocktail selection in a cozy setting. Located in the heart of historic Mainstrasse Village, this charming gem is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's impeccable restoration is evident in its bright and airy space. Guests can expect friendly service, fresh house-made dishes, and a lively crowd.
Amazing food. We found this restaurant by accident while on a road trip in America and I can honestly say it was some of the best food I have eaten in a long time. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The staff were excellent. I know some people have mentioned in other posts about it being a little slow which it was however you can see in the kitchen that everything is being cooked fresh and so I'm happy to wait for fresh cooked food.
Lee-anne W — Google review
Of all the places to eat in Mainstrasse this is my favorite. I have been here for everything from special events to brunch and dinner. I have had exactly 0 things that have been bad and several dishes that are extremely good. They will often do daily specials and even with enjoying the menu a lot. I find that their daily specials often to be even better. I have taken my family and everyone agrees this place is extremely above average and has some of the better food we have eaten anywhere.. The service has always been good Steven their bartender is extremely exceptional! He just makes sure anything you need is handled even special orders. I have done like 100 reviews and he is the only server I know by name. If you get a chance to go and eat at this place I highly recommend it.
Bert S — Google review
Enjoyed a delicious brunch here today with my husband. He had the rabbit hash, and I had the chicken and waffles. Both were great. Also enjoyed some delicious cocktails. The space is beautiful and open.
Erin K — Google review
They have an interesting but limited menu. We had the Kentucky Fried rabbit and a vegetarian dish whose name escapes me and the dumpling appetizer. All the sauces they served were great. Dumplings were good, the veggie dish was OK. Rabbit was smoked and fried and was delicious. Had a cocktail, it was underwhelming. The ladies' room was absolutely frigid.
Meg W — Google review
A lot of TLC went into the planning of this charming gem, and it shows. Located in the heart of historic Mainstrasse Village, this impeccably restored beauty is bright, airy and inviting. I came for Saturday brunch and was greeted by a friendly, attentive staff, a lively and trendy crowd, and clean open kitchen. I ordered the breakfast board with a side of home fries. Everything was clearly prepared fresh in-house, right down to the ketchup. My coffee was fresh and hot, and my cup was never empty. Prices are well in line with typical bistros, but this place is anything but typical. Bring a date, your friends or family, or come alone. You'll be made to feel at home. I'll be back.
Steve A — Google review
Charming spot with the cutest outdoor patio and incredible food. I was there for a private event with dishes served family style and I'm STILL thinking about the gnocchi! The food was amazing and the service was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely return if I’m ever in the area again.
Kelli N — Google review
We loved Commonwealth Bistro! Our group had a variety of drinks, appetizers and entrees and everything was perfect! They had the most delicious fresh mushrooms, locally foraged. Staff and service were excellent. Can't say enough about our experience! Visit Commonwealth!

One of those places where the first bite makes you fall in love and breaks your heart as the end of the dish looms in your near future. The space is beautiful and open, the servers were prompt and informed. If I could eat here everyday I would. Ideal for dates or small gatherings.

Vegetarian cafe and deli
Harmony Plant Fare is a vegan deli in Findlay Market, offering a wide range of plant-based meats and cheeses. Specializing in seitan, a Chinese-origin vegan meat made from high protein flour, beans, and spices that closely resembles animal-based meat. The deli provides an extensive menu of sandwiches, ready-to-go dishes, dips, and desserts - all entirely vegan.
Harmony Plant Fare is UNMATCHED. If you're looking for a good sandwich, this is the place to go. Their house made meats are unbelievable and every component if their sandwiches are perfect. The Italian is by far my favorite! My only complaint is that, as a vegan, Findlay Market is a nightmare to walk through. I have heard that you can call Harmony to place an order to get in and out quickly though.
Grace H — Google review
What a gem this little deli in the Findlay Market is. This was my second time eating here (because the first was so good) and i’m even more blown away this time around. their sandwich of the day, recommended by the person working, was one of the best vegan sandwiches i’ve ever had. i believe a non vegan would’ve enjoyed it too, which i can’t say the same for many meat-alternative sandwiches i’ve had. as a 10+ year vegan, i very much wish that i lived closer to this place than the 4 hours that i do, but until then i’ll stop in whenever i can. if you are contemplating going and can’t tell by the menu or pictures, let this be your sign to just go - you won’t regret it.
Zach H — Google review
This is easily one of the best vegan sandwiches I've ever had! Full, flavorful, hearty, perfect texture balance, almost unreal. Cannot recommend this place enough - it's delicious!
Maria P — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Harmony Plant Fare, and it was a fantastic experience. This all-vegan spot really stands out not just for its delicious plant-based menu but for how easy and convenient it is to just order like at a deli and take your food to go. And of course, a big shoutout to Alex, the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive even in that quick-serve setup. His passion for making everyone feel welcome really shines through. If you’re looking for great vegan food on the go with a friendly touch, Harmony Plant Fare is definitely worth a visit.
Sherry S — Google review
Was so excited when I stumbled on this market! They had so many options I wanted to take home a lot more! But settled for the Jalapeno cream cheese which was AMAZING and the buffalo chicken. Also amazing! Will definitely come back! Highly recommend!
Nichole R — Google review
If you’re in Findlay Market, you need to go to Harmony Plant Fare. Take it from me that this was the best and hottest grilled cheese sandwich that I’ve ever had. This grilled cheese sandwich was an explosion of happiness in my mouth! The sandwich was made on sourdough bread and the cheese was thoroughly melted. I paid $10 for the sandwich (and I paid $1 for a big bottle of cold water). I wondered what the sandwich would taste like, but I was not disappointed. The only complaint I had was that I wanted more when I finished it. I asked for pickles and was offered them in a cup. I would highly recommend Harmony Plant Fare in Findlay Market. You will not be disappointed!
Angela B — Google review
This is the best vegan deli I've ever dined at because they have such good flavors! Many such delis just make a 5-inch thick sub with plant-based cold cuts, which I've found to be rather disgusting. Harmony Plant Fare is not like those places, though. Their cold Italian sub and the gyro were both A+ sandwiches, vegan or otherwise. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this shop to Findlay Market frequenters if you're vegan or vegan curious!
Brian D — Google review
Yasssss! I had the Buffalo Ranch sandwich and it was delicious. It was hot and full of flavor. The bread was toasted to perfection. The staff were just wonderful, accommodating and friendly. They have other vegan items available for you to snag while you’re there. I found it funny that this vegan spot is near two butchers.

My family has been following Ben and his beautiful creations (that happen to be edible) for years now. In fact, my sister and I would visit Brick Coffee almost weekly for his infamous pastry tarts. There was no one else I would've wanted to design and curate my wedding cake. Not only did Ben design a cake incorporating my fur baby, but he transported it all the way to Columbus with another event occurring that event. He is a pure mastermind and I cannot wait to continue ordering from him for holidays, but for future life events! THE BEST!!!
Emma M — Google review
Ben made our wedding cake for us and it was by far the best cake I have ever tasted. It was moist, delicious and to die for. Ben is a genuine, kind guy to work with, easy to get in touch with and he will accommodate anything you would want you cake to look and taste like. Ben even delivered our cake to the wedding venue. He is extremely talented and we are thankful that he made our cake for us.
Abbie F — Google review
Ben made our wedding cake, as well as delicious mini pastries for the reception. He did an incredible job - people were raving! Not only was the cake itself delicious, but he used homemade preserves and jellies as the filling. I was coordinating my wedding from a distance, and he was super fun and responsive throughout the process. The cake was beautifully decorated, and was so personalized. It was all we could do not to hit up his pop-up shop on our way out of town. He's a professional, and you will love him.
Abby C — Google review
Ben came to a community event and came prepared to give 1,000's of people his delicious desserts (free)! It is impressive that someone is so willing to freely give, and I would support his business for this reason alone!
Lisa S — Google review
We had the pleasure of creating Ben's website and helping him with his new re-brand. He's been fantastic and so much fun to work with!
Bradley S — Google review
Ben was so easy to work with for our wedding cake. He did a fabulous job and it was exactly as we had discussed. Our cake was absolutely delicious!! Thank so much for making a stressful time... amazing! My mother-in-law also had Ben make a special cake for our rehearsal dinner. It was incredible. The Audi wheel was exactly like my husband’s wheel. Keep up the extraordinary work!!!!
Julie T — Google review
Ben's cakes are THE BEST. He's so creative and his talent doesn't stop with decorating cakes... his cakes taste the best, too! I use him for every birthday celebration, baby shower, bridal shower, etc. that has come up since I met him! His desserts are worth every penny!
