Nada is a vibrant small-chain restaurant known for its gourmet Mexican cuisine and cocktails. The establishment offers a bright and lively space for patrons to enjoy their dining experience. Additionally, Nada participates in events such as taco week, where various locations offer $2 tacos throughout the week. Furthermore, the restaurant is located at 600 Walnut St, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
Went to dinner here solo on a Monday night. The place was pretty full and I got a seat at the bar. I had the non-alcoholic blueberry lemonade, the queso and the steak quesadilla. Everything came out super quickly and was really tasty. I would happily return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely spectacular dining experience at NADA! The food was out of this world — every bite was phenomenal. The Brussels sprouts were incredible, the grapefruit margarita was perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the queso was hands-down some of the best we’ve ever had. The cauliflower tacos? To die for — bursting with flavor and truly unforgettable. As amazing as the food was, the service took our experience to another level. Our server, Jordan, was absolutely outstanding — the GOAT of hospitality, like Michael Jordan is to basketball. He made us feel taken care of in every way. And the hospitality didn’t stop there — the hostess, Myecia, had a full list of all the restaurants participating in restaurant week waiting for us as soon as we arrived, without us even asking. That kind of thoughtfulness and service is truly rare. We own our own restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky (Grounded All Day Café), so we know genuine hospitality and great customer service when we see it — and NADA has it all. Fantastic staff, spectacular food, terrific atmosphere, and great music. Five stars all the way!

I'd say Nada has the best tacos in Cincinnati. Just absolutely delicious. All different flavors and nice combinations. You can get vegetarian cauliflower tacos or chicken tacos or shrimp or fish or beef. They're all delicious. And their fajitas and enchiladas are also outstanding. Just great food. And also a wide selection of wonderful alcoholic beverages. It's a lovely, beautiful atmosphere. Eating outside next to the sidewalk is very nice and comfortable. Inside is absolutely exquisite. Decorations are terrific. It's a fun, lovely place to take your family or friends out for a Mexican dinner.
Timothy M — Google review
The ambiance was amazing — we chose outdoor seating, and it was perfect for the evening with great lighting and music. The food was delicious — we tried the shrimp fajitas, chicken quesadillas, and enchiladas, and everything was cooked perfectly with bold flavors. The guacamole was super fresh, and the variety of salsas and dips made the meal even better.
Harishwar K — Google review
First time with my husband grabbing lunch here. We both agreed this was a great experience. The food was delicious, serving sizes were perfect, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Elissa was a fantastic waitress. She asked if we had any allergies and brought a separate basket of chips that weren’t cross-contaminated after I told her my husband is gluten free. She was attentive and super friendly—the servers can make or break a good experience. Pricey, but worth it for a nice treat every now and then.
Virginia B — Google review
The food was good. The service was ok however our waiter was a bit more tending to my friend in which he was being a bit flirty with and that was a bit annoying. He highlighted how my food presentation wasn't as great as my friend's dish. He was more interested in bringing her water than myself. Other than that it was ok.
King S — Google review
My cousin graduated from The University of Cincinnati and after the Graduation Ceremony we went to Nada. We sat in the private room upstairs and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the music and the service. We had a set menu and these were my favorite items: Starters: O.G. Guacamole, First Course: Brussels, Taco: Chicken Al Carbón and Dessert: Churros. I forgot to take pictures of all the food but it was amazing. The Server's were great and the food we didn't eat we took it home. If you have a large party, go to Nada to celebrate! You won't be disappointed.
Alonna D — Google review
An absolute gem in the Cincinnati area. It's not your regular Mexican place, rather an elevated experience at an affordable price. Their world famous braised chicken enchiladas are literally worth the try, a tiny bit of salty though, but would totally recommend. Loved their shrimp tacos and churros for dessert. Their margarita also is worth the try. The quantity of the rice and beans at first felt a tad less but as you start loading up the tacos, that quantity seems reasonable and no kidding, loaded with amazing flavors. The service is fast and the server, oh my god, so nice. Our leftovers were also packed by the staff, which was so convenient for us. The ambiance completely adds to your overall experience. Their washroom is a little tricky to find, which was a funny experience for me.

Steak house
Bar
Fine dining restaurant
Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse is an upscale, stylish restaurant known for its handcrafted steaks and seafood offerings. With an art-deco style, it has been a Cincinnati landmark for over 20 years and has attracted A-list patrons like Adam Sandler and Robert De Niro. The restaurant features a raw bar, live music lounge with a 1865 Steinway piano, and nationally acclaimed USDA Prime steaks.
I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Jeff Ruby's, and it was an unforgettable first-time experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the valet, every detail was thoughtfully executed with remarkable hospitality. Our server, Jason, delivered impeccable service—truly among the best I’ve ever encountered. He was not only highly professional and attentive but also impressively knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, which elevated our dining experience even further. We reserved a private dining room for 18 guests. Though a few attendees canceled at the last minute, Jason handled the situation with grace and professionalism, gently reminding me of the contractual minimum in the most respectful manner. I genuinely appreciated his thoughtfulness in how he approached it. Everything—from the ambiance to the cuisine and service—was exceptional. I am already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend Jeff Ruby's to anyone seeking a special and sophisticated dining experience.
Erica F — Google review
Jeff Ruby’s downtown Cincinnati location delivers an excellent culinary experience, impeccable service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot to celebrate life’s special moments. Dinner started with fresh bread smothered in signature truffle butter, which was delicious with the flavorful salad. The tender, juicy fillet was served with creamy mashed potatoes and tender asparagus. After dinner, a fantastic chocolate cake arrived with fresh blackberries and raspberries, encircled by a blended fresh fruit drizzle, accompanied by the rich, smooth flavor of vanilla bean ice cream.

Went here for the first time on a Saturday evening (party of 2). We had to reserve about 1.5 months in advance. This was one of the best steak meals we have ever had. The front of the house was so friendly and accommodating. Our servers were absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for more attentive and fun, friendly servers. We sat outside on the patio but the bar area with the elevated piano looked like a great time as well. There was live music the entire time we were there. Atmosphere is beautiful and intriguing everywhere you look. For drinks throughout the night, we had old fashioned, dirty martinis, and Tempranillo wine. All were perfect. Now onto the food… The very first thing they brought out, bread and butter was AMAZING. I couldn’t believe how good it was to be honest. We ordered the crab cake and pork belly for apps, then a Caesar salad, then the Miyazaki wagyu NY strip and a 12oz lobster tail. For sides we got the Tso green beans, Mac n chs, and Anna’s potatoes. All of the food was so good, but the wagyu was out of this world good. I can’t even explain how delicious it was, you just need to try it. We finished the meal with cheesecake and a cappuccino. The table next to us got the Air Ruby and it was literally a chocolate dessert shaped like an Air Jordan. It was one of the weirdest but most amazing desserts I’ve seen. We made friends and they let us try it. It was delicious. Overall this meal was a 10/10. I could go on and on. We could not have asked for a better night out. Can’t wait to go back.

Just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here on Tuesday the 30th of September. We had never been to Jeff Ruby’s or any restaurant like it in a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised as the hype was real. This was by far the best dining experience we have ever had. We were seated within minutes. The service was impeccable and our server Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! My wife enjoyed a Mulled Berry Mojito. The crab cakes we ordered for an appetizer were beyond delicious. I ordered a New York strip with garlic butter and a baked potato. My wife ordered the steak Collinsworth with baked Mac n cheese. Everything was perfect! Our entree’s came shortly after we finished our appetizers but long enough for us to talk and enjoy the atmosphere. After we finished our dinner our server brought us a wonderful dessert which was complimentary. We really did enjoy every moment together here and it could not have been a more enjoyable experience! All the food was amazing but I highly recommend the crab cakes.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! We hosted a large group, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special. The food was exceptional, as always. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and every side dish was delicious. What really stood out most was the hospitality — attentive, professional, and warm. Planning a celebration for a big group can be stressful, but the team made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Jeff Ruby’s for making my milestone birthday so memorable. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough for special occasions or an outstanding night out!
Lo V — Google review
Listen, I’ve eaten some good meals in my life, but whatever the hell happened inside Jeff Ruby’s Speakeasy that Friday night was basically a religious experience with cocktails. Our crew of 8 rolled in for our annual baseball trip — we clean up just enough to pass for “gentlemen,” but let’s be honest, we’re a traveling pack of loudmouths who argue about who should’ve bunted in the 7th inning of a 2003 Tigers game. Somehow, they still gave us a private room. Bold move, Jeff Ruby’s. The place looks like Sinatra and Elvis opened a casino in Heaven. Gold trim, velvet everywhere, and chandeliers that probably cost more than my car. They even customized the menus with the Cincinnati Reds logo — so of course, we felt like VIPs who just signed multi-million dollar contracts. And I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to Maggie Rixson, who set the whole thing up for us. Maggie is an absolute rockstar — made sure our group was taken care of from start to finish, and somehow made us look more sophisticated than we actually are. She’s the kind of person who could organize a dinner for the Rolling Stones and still remember your drink order. The food? Unreal. The steaks were so tender I considered proposing. The mac and cheese might have violated several laws of physics. Every side dish slapped harder than a Reds fastball, and by dessert — a chilled Reds cake masterpiece — we were ready to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” in harmony. The staff? Absolute legends. They were everywhere — like stealth ninjas with wine bottles, making sure no glass ever saw the bottom. I swear at one point they refilled my bourbon telepathically. And I’ve got to give credit where it’s due — my friend Jamie highly recommended Jeff Ruby’s, and she was absolutely right. This place isn’t just dinner; it’s an event. When the night ended, we didn’t just leave full. We left changed. I’m pretty sure one guy in our group achieved enlightenment somewhere between the filet and the crème brûlée. Five stars. Would sell a kidney to go back.
Billy C — Google review
OUTSTANDING! I can’t even begin to describe this incredible experience from the moment I called to reserve, the atmosphere, the service, the food. This is a must in your LIfe, it’s impossible to be disappointed here. A true, raw gem that captured my heart and we will be forever customers and come visit Cincinnati just to come to this restaurant. They even personalized the menu, I can’t say enough positive words about this place that is surreal. Thank you to all he amazing team at Jeff Rubys for making my boyfriend’s 50th birthday memorable! Don’t forget to ask for the best dessert you’ll ever eat in your life.
Jennifer R — Google review
My family and I were fortunate enough to eat dinner here last night to celebrate our late father's first heavenly birthday and it was the best meal we have ever had. Our server, Michael, was absolutely incredible and he helped make this experience a 100/10. Bawe, the director of hospitality and experiences, was exceptional and stopped in to check on us as did the restaurant front manager whose name is slipping my mind. We were delighted to meet Jeff Ruby and hear about his connection to our Dad, who used to work for Jeff back in the day at one his restaurants. We have never had a more hospitable experience at a restaurant and the food was divine. I will dream about the lobster gnocchi and crab cake, which was the best I have ever had. We will be back!

Taqueria Mercado Cincinnati is a casual eatery offering classic Mexican dishes and flavored margaritas in a simple setting. Located in downtown Cincinnati, this spot is known for its delicious tacos served on steamed corn tortillas with various meat or veggie options like beef brisket, tilapia, shrimp, and Mexican sausage. The barbacoa taco is highly recommended, but the fried pork and shredded chicken are also worth trying.
Authentic Mexican food right in downtown Cincinnati! I found this gem when staying downtown for business. I had a Carne Asada plate. Plenty of delicious food. The meat, rice and beans were on point. Friendly service. The ambiance is great. A great place to try if you are interested in having some real and authentic Mexican food.

This was our first time visiting but it will not be our last. The service that Abner provided was awesome. He really seems to be a fine person and treats everyone with respect and attentiveness. The food and generous portions made the evening memorable. The taste of the meal was just perfect. I highly recommend Taqueria Mercado. Enjoy!

What a fun spot?! Food was outstanding. We split the chicken fajitas and they were awesome. The chips and salsa were really good too. The salsa had some kick to it and some of the other 'samples' the server brought with the chips and salsa were delicious as well. Sat outside and that was a lot of fun. Love this place.
Derek — Google review
Delicious food! I love fresh fried chips. Their salsa with the chips were fabulous. I ordered Camarones a la Diabla. It was perfectly spicy!
Shannon C — Google review
I have been to Taqueria Mercado so many times. It is my local Mexican Restaurant and has been for 15 years now. The reason I finally thought to write a review is because today I was there for a busy Friday lunch service and they were having their soda machine replaced (switched to Pepsi for financial reasons). This also meant water and Iced Tea were affected. They gave all their bottled soft drinks (don't worry, they still have bottled Mexican Coke) and fruit juice based drinks for free. I had a hibiscus juice and it was good but I don't prefer sweet or carbonated beverages, so I'll admit I was not really happy but for one of my loved neighbors, I took it in stride. By the end of our service the manager had gone to Kroger and bought several cases of bottled water because he realized that problem. The food was great as always. Cheese enchiladas with red sauce are my favorite. Special Mercado (chicken and rice with cheese sauce and tortillas) when I need all the comfort food. But today I had a chicken taco as part of my combo and it was amazing. This is a business that cares and deserves your business.
Trisha W — Google review
Sat at bar for dinner. The drinks were good. The food was also good. I had the enchiladas. Although they were more like a soft taco than the traditional enchiladas I've had before. the staff was friendly and the service was good. I will be back next time I'm in the area.
John — Google review
Anyone that can’t give this place 5 stars hasn’t tried enough Mexican restaurants. Absolutely the best! The chips are so fresh and the best ever and combined with the salsa … Wow! The Margarita is amazing! Perfect blend and not too sweet. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Italian restaurant
Sotto is a basement dining spot in Cincinnati known for its austere brick-and-wood interior and inventive rustic Italian cuisine. It has been recognized for delivering an exemplary dining experience with great food, thoughtful service, and an elegant atmosphere. The well-edited menu features high-quality ingredients treated with the utmost respect, and the servers are knowledgeable about wine pairings. One of their must-try desserts is the airy ricotta donuts served with three delicious sauces for dipping.
Took my wife for our 5 year anniversary. This place checks every box! The service was excellent with everyone making us feel welcomed without being overbearing. The food itself was DIVINE and all cooked to perfection! It is a little on the pricey side but it's well worth it compared to other offerings I the city. It's easy to see why Sotto is on open tables top 100 list! Also, safe to say we'll be back!
Ethan D — Google review
After hearing some really good things about this place from locals I made reservations to stop in for dinner and give it a try. I didn’t know what to expect, thus didn’t know it was underground (Sotto means “Under” in Italian). It’s incredibly cozy, intimate, and dark down there with all tables having long candle sticks on them and various tea lights and candles all over to provide ambient lighting. The menu is filled with shareable items, especially a nice list of starters. Their pastas are all made fresh, in-house and have vibrant flavors, with their short rib filled pasta being incredible. Their fire roasted quail was seasoned nicely and cooker perfectly. Branzino is a nice, shareable size and done well too. Save room for dessert, their ricotta donuts were tender and came with some tasty sauces to dip them in. Service was decent, but could be a little more attentive and friendly. I get the feeling they are very popular and busy and know it, so you get what service they deliver. Would I come back? Definitely!

went for a birthday and it was amazing! the burrata was without a doubt the best appetizer i’ve ever had, and the octopus wasn’t far behind. the cappelacci was amazing, a little overhyped it seems but don’t let that statement fool you, it’s still a 5 star dish and absolutely worth ordering. the quail and branzino were both seasoned well and had a very nice spiciness to them. on top of that, ordered a panna cotta for dessert and they took the dessert off the bill for the birthday! zach our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable as well. would recommend to anyone!
Dexter R — Google review
We had an incredible experience at Sotto in Cincinnati! Miss Jordan took great care of us — she got us seated so quickly and made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. The food was top-notch from start to finish — especially the chicken liver mousse (rich, silky, and perfectly balanced) and those donuts… absolutely fabulous! Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town.

Wow! My spouse and I went for my birthday. Our server Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and we had exceptional service the entire duration of our meal. The goat cheese bread was an excellent appetizer. I ordered the cappellacci and my husband ordered the tagliatelle con porcini, both phenomenal dishes with just the right amount of flavor. We also ordered the pork loin with the potatoes. These will not disappoint! They have options of many drinks, I ordered the Italian stallion, Absolutely delicious and my husband got a non alcoholic beverage, can't remember off the top of my head. Although we didn't have room for dessert I was pleasantly surprised with a delicious donut in salted caramel sauce. The perfect end to a perfect meal I HIGHLY recommend this amazing experience, especially for a romantic evening! Would definitely return!! Thank you for an amazing dinner 💜💜

Great place for Italian food in downtown Cincinnati. Everything was very delicious. Wood fired branzino was awesome in particular. You can’t go wrong with the goat cheese and hazelnut appetizer also. Fantastic presentation with the asparagus as well. Highly recommended you come here.
Mike F — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere in the underground restaurant with an open kitchen and sunken wine cellar was so cool!! The staff was all attentive and double checked with the kitchen when unsure about possible issues with my food allergy and found alternatives for me. They had a great wine list and lots of cocktail and NA options. I definitely recommend having a reservation.
Kathryn C — Google review
Here’s your polished, professional-quality version of your Sotto review — keeping all your original observations and enthusiasm while refining flow, grammar, and tone. It reads smoothly and naturally for a Google or Yelp post: While visiting Cincinnati, Sotto quickly came up as a must-try spot and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. With a few last-minute calls, we managed to get a dinner reservation, and from the moment we arrived, the experience impressed. Descending the stairs and stepping through a door that feels pulled straight from an old Italian cottage, you’re immediately immersed in a warm, intimate atmosphere. The glow of real candlelight, the rich wood tones, and the cozy layout make Sotto feel timeless. Our server, Paxton, was fantastic attentive, personable, and great at walking us through the menu and making thoughtful recommendations. We started with the Black Kale Caesar, Fettunta, and Oil-Packed Tuna. Each dish was delicious the Caesar had crisp greens with a perfectly balanced dressing and crunchy breadcrumbs, while the tuna served with an egg over toasted bread was a standout. For mains, we ordered the Scottadito (Lamb Rack), Porterhouse, and Pappardelle al Cinghiale, along with sides of Broccolini, Patate, and Asparagus. Everything was incredible. The lamb was so tender and flavorful that it actually changed the mind of someone in our group who thought they didn’t like lamb it was that good. The Porterhouse, sliced and cooked to a perfect medium-rare, was tender and satisfying. The house-made pasta (you can actually see it being prepared in the back) was perfectly al dente, with a delicate sauce that let the wild boar shine. Of the sides, the Broccolini was the least exciting not bad by any means but the Asparagus with Ricotta Salata was flavorful, and the Patate (fingerling potatoes in a salsa verde) completely won me over. I’m still thinking about how to recreate them at home. For dessert, we shared the Dolce (Ricotta Doughnuts), Chocolate Budino, Sorbetti, and Panna Cotta. The Dolce is a highly recommended favorite and was quite good, though not my personal top pick. The Sorbetti was light and refreshing, but the Panna Cotta stole the show delicate, creamy, and beautifully paired with a berry compote. From start to finish, the meal and experience were wonderful. I’ll definitely return and bring friends next time I’m in Cincinnati.

French restaurant
Restaurant
Boca is a high-end restaurant known for its stylish decor, full bar, and menu featuring steak, seafood, and pasta dishes. The location is ideal for theater-goers. Chef David Falk has been with the Boca Restaurant Group for 12 years, where he developed his palate and passion for old-world cuisine. The restaurant offers an Italian/French dining experience with a seasonal menu that includes satisfying pasta dishes, well-prepared fish and meaty proteins.
We finally had our dinner at Boca and it was beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and intention. The maître d’, Nicole, was absolutely incredible! She curated our entire experience from start to finish. She gave us the best table in the house, arranged a custom menu with out-of-this-world wine pairings, and ensured every course was flawlessly executed. Every single team member we encountered made us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated. We were congratulated on our 25th anniversary throughout the evening, offered a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen, and gifted a beautifully framed and signed menu personalized just for us. Nicole and the entire Boca team turned what was already a special occasion into a memory we’ll never forget. This wasn’t just dinner... it was hospitality at its highest level. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

We were in Cincinnati for our anniversary and needed a nice place to dine. We have previously had poor luck finding a location with great food and great service. Reddit suggested Boca and we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, food, and service. Small plates with excellent flavor. Desert was great too. Highly recommended.

One of the best dinners I have had in a while. I've tried multiple new foods the other night, including caviar and scallops. The staff made the entire experience amazing. They explained the menu in-depth and the flavours with each dish. We ended the amazing dinner with beef Wellington and a lemon cake thing that was SUPER GOOD! The scallop and brussel sprouts are featured in the image. The ingredients were extremely fresh, and the scallop tasted like a steak.

Cincinnati has a sneaky good food scene. Boca has to be within the top echelon. Designed as a small plate restaurant you have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of flavors. "GG" our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and delivered an exquisite experience.

This is the restaurant you can always count on to have amazing service and food. We celebrated our birthdays with friends and had a delicious dinner. The audience is beautiful and food outstanding. Make sure of course to have the Pommes soufflés, they are everything they are cracked up too. This evening we tried something new to us the romanesco, it was lightly charred with an incredible sauce and bed of grains. We also had the corn elote which is the taste of summer in a plate, then shared the beef Wellington. Topping the evening off with their not only tongue in cheek catchy names but presentations of desserts.

I rarely rate any place 5 out of 5. But it's really surprised me. First they serve French Mediterranean. Which really surprised me cuz I didn't know what to expect. I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. She made really good cocktails. She put me on something called paper plane which was really good and told me this whole story about the liquor and how it's a dessert drink in Italy. Food wise I got her recommendations. They are known for their brussel sprouts, which I wasn't the biggest fan of I thought they were just okay. Chicken was the best dish. Great recommendation definitely recommended. I love the whole vibe and the way the restaurant is set up. Huge beautiful chandelier in the middle.

Service and atmosphere was top notch. Pasta was under cooked (well below Al Dente). Heavily overpriced. Great place to wine and dine to impress. Definitely better food spots around, but if you’re chasing ambiance and trying to impress someone; this is your place

Boca is great, fine dining! I've been there a couple of times now, and twice did their chef curated menus. I've always thoroughly enjoyed all their food! The service is great and professional. It's always a lot of fun to try the new things that Chef David is creating as well as the various wines that are paired with the meals. Would highly recommend for a nice night out!

Incline Public House, named after the historic Cincinnati inclines, offers a relaxed atmosphere and an American menu. Situated in the original location of the Price Hill House Restaurant, it provides stunning views of downtown Cincinnati from its seasonal outdoor deck. The restaurant is known for its delicious American cuisine served for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Guests can savor popular pizzas like the Prosciutto Fig or create their own with a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings.
10/10 Recommend! My family and I loved everything about this place. The views, the food, and the service were awesome! The Short Rib Poutine was good, but the Grippos-Crusted Mac & Cheese Bites stole the show! We will order more of these next time! We also ordered the Caprese, Garbage, and Deluxe Spicy Italian Pizzas. All very good, but I think Garbage won my vote as the best of the 3 (it was close). We will definitely be back to try more of these menu items!

A great place to eat when the weather is nice and you want to eat outside with a view! Their menu is unique and has some great food choices. The restaurant is a bit small and the wait time can build quickly. My favorite was their fried grippos Mac n cheese ball appetizer! I’m always a fan of their pizzas too. My husband liked his brisket burger.

Great place with an event greater view! Had great service on a busy Wednesday evening when I arrive with a very important client I'll be working with and reporting to, had a great time with delicious food. Parking was pretty rough to find but eventually found a spot. This is my first visit and can't wait to explore more of this amazing city and this amazing restaurant! Be ready to take pictures of the view like I did!!📸

From the food to the service, to the beautiful view of the city of Cincinnati and the Ohio River. It was absolutely amazing. Our server, Andrew, was very kind and friendly to us. Great service, great food. Food is a little pricey but great portion sizes. Atmosphere inside is quite loud but can still have a conversation. Overall 4/5 stars. Would come again!

One of my favorite spots which was even better with Brendan as our server! He was incredibly attentive and made sure we had a great experience!Such a perfect view of the river and Cincinnati with a perfect outside option which I highly recommend! The patio has good shade and a great breeze! We love this place and the people here ! Will definitely be back ♥️

They've got a decent variety of food on the menu. I'd definitely go back to try other items. The bathroom has two stalls; one handicapped and a regular stall. It was clean at a busy hour!

Great view of Cincinnati from Incline Public House. Atmosphere outside was very nice. Pretzel appetizer was delicious. Otherwise entrees and pizza were solid, nothing to write home about. We had a pizza, fish and chips and Korean barbecue chicken sandwich. Iced tea was weak and bland. Overall, the view was the attraction. Was getting quite busy when we left around 730pm. Service was excellent, attentive and courteous.

Tried this place for the first time last night for date night. My girlfriend had been here before and enjoyed it, so we decided to give it a shot. We arrived around 8 PM on a busy Saturday night. They took our name and quoted a 30-minute wait, which wasn’t a problem—we grabbed a drink at a nearby bar while we waited. When our table was ready, we were seated in an overflow dining area next door. The decor and ambiance were similar to the main restaurant, so no complaints there. Service started off fine but declined pretty quickly. There were about seven tables in our section, plus a bar area. One of the tables was a large group, but they were already finished eating when we walked in and left shortly after. So not a lot of folks on our side. We ordered drinks, chips and queso, and our entrées. The drinks came out quickly and were good, and the chips and queso followed soon after. The queso itself was just okay—nothing memorable, but a decent snack while waiting for our main dishes. For my meal, I ordered a taco flight with the Plain Jane, the Happy Pappy, and the Filthy Fajita. The Plain Jane was the best of the three, but still nothing special. The Happy Pappy was just okay—the carnitas were a bit dry. The Filthy Fajita, however, was straight-up bad. The steak was so tough I had to spit it out, and I ended up removing it from the taco entirely. On top of that, I could tell my tacos had been sitting for a while based on how the queso had hardened—definitely not ideal. My girlfriend ordered the Birria Ramen (which we heard is being removed from the menu soon) and the Becky taco. The ramen was pretty good—not the best birria we’ve had, but it got the job done. Thankfully, she had a better taco experience than I did—she really enjoyed The Becky. The wait for our food was long, but given how busy they were (and the time needed to cook the ramen), it was somewhat understandable. What wasn’t understandable was how long it took to get our check once we finished eating. By this point, the room had mostly emptied out, but despite our server clearly seeing that we were done, we sat for what felt like forever waiting to pay. It felt like we were on their time, which was frustrating. All in all, this place won’t be getting a return visit from me. The service was subpar, and the food wasn’t worth the $80 tab. For that price, I know we could have had a much better meal—and experience—somewhere else.
James H — Google review
Awesome food and good service but...........if I order a drink and you bring me the wrong drink why am I paying for both!!! Ordered a pineapple margarita without jalapenos and was brought the one with jalapenos. I was just going to suck it up, but the manager came with a new one and said there was a mistake. The server even came and said she took someone else's drink. No big deal but was still charged for three drinks. Wow just wow! I have never been charged for a servers mistake before. Had I noticed this at the restaurant I would have disputed it right then and there. Bad bad business!

This is a place I went to for the first time because I saw a video online with their Crispy Chicken Burrito and I had to try it. While the one in the video had a bit more filling, it was still delicious and I would 100% recommend you to come here and try their delicious food!! The agave BBQ jam was ridiculous and I would probably enjoy anything with this stuff on top of it!! If you’re around any of their locations, I say give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

I love it here! The art inside is so different and makes this place so aesthetically pleasing. I love the selection of bourbon and tequila!! Definitely some premium spirits at this bar. Stephanie made my experience even better with her knowledge of the menu and suggested the grilled chicken burrito. Never had Mac and cheese and bacon in a burrito with barbecue sauce! Tastes amazing and this is a great start to my first time in Covington. Moving to the area soon and definitely will be back!!!

Restaurant
La Mexicana Restaurant is a simple eatery located in Newport, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. It's known for serving some of the city's best tacos, including options like tacos al pastor, barbacoa, carne asada, lengua, and sesos. Vegetarians can enjoy fillings such as seasoned pumpkin flower, corn truffle, hongos, beans and queso fresco.
What a great little restaurant. Have driven by it so many times but have never stopped in until today. Let me start by saying their chips and salsa are seriously slapping. I assume they are fried in house. So good. Decent amount of choice on the menu, lots of things with tortillas and then things like fish, tamales, menudo, etc Prices are very reasonable for the large portion sizes

A low key restaurant with a great menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. Ask the server is my motto, and I had tripe tacos, grilled onions with avocado, the flavor was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

The service was great, and there are a few different dining areas to choose from and a grocery store to browse through. It's was so clean and the food was amazing and authentic! I had the alambre, which was delicious their portions are huge! Everything was perfectly seasoned exactly how you would want Mexican food to be seasoned! It's been a few days, and I'm still thinking of how delicious their salsa was!

Literally the best taco I’ve had in my life. The mix of soft and hard shell has never crossed my mind and it works really really well on top of the flavorful fillings. This was my first time at Condado tacos and it was a nice experience. The salsa and chips were great, it had a kick but I liked it. I tried the chicken bacon ranch, Baja shrimp, and the brisket sweet heat. I didn’t care for the Baja shrimp, I think that would be best sold in a bowl since it contains rice and shrimp. I liked the brisket and chicken bacon ranch. The restaurants AC was broken the day we came so they had mini AC units placed around the restaurant. Our waitress was super nice. Can’t wait to come back again.

I ordered Easy Pleasy burrito and it was missing 4 ingredients. It was dry and zero flavor. My son had steak tacos and they were seasoned so spicy even my husband could eat them. My husband said his tacos were good. The restaurant was empty no one in there but us at 6 pm.

The place was empty but the server we had was very engaged and explained everything about menu options. Parking on the other hand, especially if you're not from the area, can be a challenge. There is a parking garage right after the place that will need to be used since there is no parking on the street. We had to travel around the block to figure it out. It wasn't too bad since there weren't many people out, but I could only imagine if it were there busy time.

I came for Sunday brunch. Service and atmosphere are excellent. I got the biscuits and gravy. In hindsight, I'd have been better off ordering a biscuit and gravy ala carte. The gravy is good but not great. Other items the kitchen sent out looked amazing. I look forward to coming back for an event, and to try other food.

Came in for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere — warm, welcoming, and great service all around. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. While the gravy was decent, it wasn’t quite as flavorful as I’d hoped. In hindsight, I probably would’ve been better off ordering it à la carte. That said, everything else I saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I’m definitely planning to come back for an event and to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Plenty of potential here!

I went here last night for the first time, and I was impressed with the layout of the place, the calm lighting and selection of beers - but the bartender was highly impolite from beginning to end. I contacted the bar today and tried to bring this matter to a manager, but was told that they weren't there. UPDATE: the manager there named Wayne communicated effectively by returning my phone call and apologizing. I accepted the apology, and agreed to return to Comet - obviously and hopefully when that rude bartender is NOT there. 👍

Great casual spot for tacos, burritos, chips and salsa. A nice selection of canned craft beer as well as some good options on tap. Tuesday is bike night and it’s a decent sized crowd but don’t let that scare you away, it’s a great crowd and a great mix of bikes and people. Think cars and coffee, not Rabbit Hash. We didn’t have any issues with wait times getting drinks at the bar or getting food from the kitchen. Will definitely be back!

Just moved to the area … thought I’d try something new . Love to support small businesses . And I will NOT be back at this location . I bought carryout… was advertised on their website as cheaper than what I was charged in the store … it’s false advertisement…. And they should shut down their online ordering if the prices don’t match what they’re charging in the restaurant. I love supporting these small businesses in Colerain and wanted to love this … but the service and unfortunately the food was absolutely AWFUL . I got the steak fajitas … no seasoning whatsoever chewy “meat” I’m not even sure it was actual steak I was consuming … just gross . Please don’t visit this establishment…

I had dinner with my husband at this restaurant for the first time tonight. I was not sure about the food since the restaurant does not look like much from the street we were seated immediately and greeted with a basket of chips and salsa. I ordered the top shelf Margarita which was very good. My husband and I shared the parrillada. Our food was brought quickly after ordering. The parrillada is a skillet with cooked vegetables, steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo. The food was delicious! I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others.

Cafe Mochiko is a cozy Japanese eatery that offers a unique twist on traditional pastries and savory dishes. Run by acclaimed chefs Erik Bentz and Elaine Townsend, the cafe has gained recognition for its innovative culinary creations. While specializing in Japanese treats like chrysanthemum cake and black sugar monkey bread, the menu also features Filipino-inspired delights such as ube hayala croissants and sweet corn bibingka.
As a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine, I was genuinely surprised by the creativity at this place! Every dish had a familiar foundation with a subtle, delightful twist that made it stand out. Everything I tried was spot-on. I’ve heard great things about their bakery too, but since we went in the evening, most of the baked goods were already sold out—definitely going back earlier next time!

Where do I start! You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. My husband and I stop in almost weekly whether it be for pastries or dinner. The rotating ramens keep you coming back! If you wake up early on the weekend run and get a box of pastries before sellout. The hardest part is not ordering one of everything everytime you go. My husband who loves ramen orders the burger every-time we come in. He claims it’s the best in town! I always get the ramen, so we share plates. Staff is always a pleasure, the ambiance is exactly what you want out of a ramen shop, you will spend the rest of your life comparing other ramens to this ramen. I wish they offered carry out dinner as I am a take-away girly, but if we’re doing date night and I’m leaving the house for dinner this is where we’re going! Oh.. don’t forget the Shokupan!!

Will have to come back another time when earlier in the day since it seems they run out of some of their quicker-selling items fast, but this spot is cute with very kind employees. The pastries we got to try were excellent! I especially loved the sweet corn pastry and tea cookie. If you come later there are not as many options, but I plan to come back and try the ramen for sure. Definitely check this little spot out. Great place to get some studying done too. Nice, clean, and calm space.

My first coming to this place. I ordered the junk ramen. The broth was so delicious. It was perfect for a cold fall evening. It was warm and had a wonderful umami flavor. The pork was so tender I could sit here all day talk about this delicious ramen. The service was awesome and the staff is very attentive. I see why people rave about this place. The food, staff and atmosphere was great. I will come back for the pastries.
Jane C — Google review
While the atmosphere, service, and location were fantastic, I was disappointed in the food. I would give the Cincinnati Style Ramen a 5/10 and say it is not worth the hype. I make various ramens from scratch at home and try as many new places as I can. Ramen and sushi are my favorite food. While I enjoy Cincinnati style chili, the ramen was lacking in flavor. The broth was a little on the bland side and lacked a good flavor “kick” that the ramen needed to stand out. The noodles were also not my favorite, as they felt “spongy” and the egg was overcooked. I would never order this again. The Hokkaido Smashburger was a 6.5/10. Same as with the ramen, it lacked the “kick” of flavor it needed to not just be “another burger.” And that is what it felt like, just another burger and not something to go out of my way to get. Overall, I feel both of these items have good potential, they just need some work in the flavor department.

The food was excellent! The Wagu beef burger and fries was the bomb! The spicy Ramen was just right in terms of heat and the broth was favorable. Will definitely be back! The food was so good that I forgot to take a photo until the end!

I got the Cinci style Ramen. It was good but overwhelming flavor. I plan to go back but get a more traditional dish. And I really wanna try their pastries, I hear it’s delicious. Otherwise it was a cool place and staff were friendly and attentive.

Bakery items taste unique but are iced cold. Gives me the feeling of eating left over bread from the day before. Would rated much higher if it was fresh and hot. Ramen noodles have nice texture. Soup base is not bad as well but the small quantity of toppings makes the experience feel like it’s all about the noodles. Missing that wholesome feeling.

What a find for a great fall evening dinner on the patio. The weather was great. Service was super fast. We had the Barzon Burrito and Sweet Thai wings. Both were yummy. The burrito was massive and very sharable.

I love this place and come here a lot. Chips and salsa hit the spot when I’m hungry after work or waiting for friends to join. Their $2 street tacos on Tuesdays are great (no frills but delicious meats). The only bummer is minimal vegetarian options (just the cheese quesadilla right now) on an otherwise very large menu. I’d love to see more vegetarian options added but cant beat their current tacos and margs. Took my family here and had a blast. The servers are very kind and when we all got margs except my sister who doesn’t drink, our server was thoughtful enough to put one of the fun lights in her drink too! And sitting out on their covered patio is great for most of the year. Highly recommend.

This is such an amazing place! It’s my favorite spot in all of Cincinnati. Not only is it family friendly, it’s also the best spot to take my buddies for a good drink and soccer game night. It’s in the best area, the most beautiful area of Cincinnati, in my opinion. Family visiting from Las Vegas and California loved it here.!! ❤️❤️😍

Got takeout with a group of co-workers. Burrito was of decent size and tasted great. Chips and salsa were a bit too plain. From what I heard they got our order right and everybody was happy with the food.

When here with a bunch of friends after playing pickleball I Sawyer Point. Street parking was ample, the food and services very good and the atmosphere was great we had room for 11 people and the service is very good. He will go back to get their margaritas.

The restaurant itself is very lively with a large projector playing sports and multiple TVs. The tables were greasy and the chips and salsa was underwhelming. The salsa was not fresh. The chimichanga and quesadilla was greasy too. The restaurant food was underwhelming and not good Mexican for vegetarians especially.

I'm honestly amazed by all the good reviews. We did not have that experience. Surprisingly few vegetarian options. We ordered the spinach dip which was a big bowl of spinach in a very watery cheese liquid. We ordered a cheese quesadilla that was very tiny (looked like a toddler meal) and came with no guac or sour cream or anything. I definitely won't eat here again. The bar is beautiful though. I'd go back for a drink.

Montgomery Inn The Boathouse is a renowned barbecue chain in Cincinnati, offering classic meat dishes smothered in sauce, as well as grills, salads, and seafood. One of its standout offerings is the famous Saratoga chips – thick kettle chips meant to be dipped in BBQ sauce. Locals often praise the Boathouse for serving the best Saratoga chips in town.
I had a great dining experience with my family at this location. The food was great and the service was even better (shout out to our server, Ron). Make sure to put in a reservation, because it is a BUSY location. The view is amazing with the water sitting right there. You will enjoy the ambiance, for sure!

For world famous, award winning ribs, I found them to be rather uninspired. They are simply oven roasted. Though cooked competently and with a lovely glazed sauce, it's nothing you can't do at home for 1/4 the price. I was really hoping for something wood smoked and kinda shocked it wasn't. 🤷‍♀️ The duck however was excellent and memorable. Perfectly cooked with a crisp skin. Delicate and savory. Coleslaw makes or breaks BBQ for me and their's was outstanding. The bartender made me an "old fashion" which was a rocks glass filled to the top with Buffalo Trace and a cherry in it. I was hammered. Lol 👍 The best part of my evening was our table location. Out on the patio overlooking the Ohio River. Couldn't be much better than that. And for dessert, an awesome fireworks display from the baseball stadium. I highly recommend the outside seating.

Montgomery Inn - The Boathouse is a great place to have a relaxing dinner. You can valet your car easily or park on the street. The restaurant is right on Riverside Drive and seating overlooks the river. BBQ and seafood here is very good and they offer generous portions. We were there a bit ago and had no trouble getting seating without a reservation. Although I would recommend it during summer and holiday seasons. My shrimp starter was uniquely flavorful as was my entree of broiled fish. The ribs and smoked chicken dinner were delicious. Served hot with fresh vegetables and thier own bbq sauce; tangy and excellent! This is a great place for special occasions. Business meetings and dates!

Fabulous! Food scrumptious! The view of the Ohio River was magnificent! We dined outside on the balcony celebrating a 75th birthday! We had a wonderful time and was not rushed at all. Nice and relaxing evening for the 4 of us. You can dress up or come as you are!

Enjoying a Cincinnati tradition with friendly staff made for a delightful and memorable evening at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse. The boathouse offers a relaxing atmosphere with spectacular views of the Ohio River. We started with Gulf Shrimp Cantonese, served with hot mustard and plum sauce, followed by tender ribs cooked to perfection, accompanied by crispy Saratoga chips. Overall, it was a great experience.

Montgomery Inn is a top-notch dining experience! We had a large group of 14 people, and the service was impeccable, thanks to our amazing waitress Ally. The food was truly exceptional - I had the 8oz filet, cooked and seasoned to perfection. The addition of their famous fried onions was a game-changer, adding a delightful crunch and flavor. The béarnaise sauce was also rich and tasty. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or night out with friends. We'll definitely be back!

Banquet hall
The Precinct By Jeff Ruby is an elegant and upscale steakhouse located in Columbia-Tusculum. Housed in a historic building that used to be the Cincinnati Police Department's Sixth Precinct, the restaurant offers handcrafted steaks and seafood dishes along with a selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. Despite its sophistication, The Precinct maintains a neighborhood feel, inviting patrons to purchase Jeff Ruby's steaks for home cooking.
We visited Jeff Ruby’s Precinct last night to celebrate my birthday, and as always, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My family and I dine here several times a year, usually with a party of 8 to 14 people, and each visit is consistently outstanding. Last night we were seated in the main dining area, and our server Charlie provided top-tier service from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening seamless and enjoyable. In addition, Dakota, Brandon, and Chad each went out of their way to ensure every detail was perfect truly a team effort that elevated the experience. The food was phenomenal, as expected Jeff Ruby’s always delivers the highest quality in both cuisine and ambiance. Five-star service all the way around. Highly recommend for any special occasion or an unforgettable night out.

We came for Date night, made reservations for 9:30pm. Sat in the bar area, wished it was away from where the waiters have to walk through from kitchen to dining room. This place is nice and have a lot of decor. I order my steak to be well done no pink but had to send it back to be cooked more/longer. Drinks are great. Waiter was great and attentive. Overall experience for my 1st time was good.

A business partner came in town and he was excited to get back to The Precinct. It was a great night of fantastic food and phenomenal service. We were seated right away and started off with two orders of the Jumbo shrimp. The raw bar is one of the best things this restaurant offers, don't skip it. Our steaks were delivered to perfection and the Lobster Mac n Cheese is a must!! We were surprised with a dessert delivered to us which was called in by a friend that knew we were dining there. Again, delicious and we were extremely happy and full!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Due to location, valet is the only convenient parking option. The history and architecture of this building is awe-inspiring. The interior design is inviting and perfect for groups, families, & couples. The chandeliers, stained glass windows and the red velvet-lined booths, bring class to this former Cincinnati Police Precinct building. The service is top-notch. Servers are dressed in suit and tie, and they are very knowledgeable as would be expected in such a fine dining restaurant. The food is amazing. You will not find a better selection of steaks in the area. Jeff Ruby only offers the finest meat. The homemade bread, salads, sides, steaks and desserts are all delicious.

As high end places go this is one of the best. It also has tremendous value. The prices are better than. Some of the other places I've been, with sides included. The sea bass and waygu rib fillet was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing. Restaurant set in an old brick police precinct blends history with functionality.

The crown jewel of Cincinnati steakhouses, the original and undeniably one of the best. The hatchet steak was prepared to perfection, and even as someone who isn't fond of seafood, I found the crab cake to be exceptional. Both the wedge and Greek salads were ideal accompaniments. Adding to the experience, the old-fashioned cocktail was superb, and the gold air ruby dessert—a delightful combination of mousse, chocolate cake, toffee balls, topped with raspberry cognac whipped cream and scotch caramel—was the perfect finale to a memorable birthday celebration.

Couldn't have picked a better spot in Cincinnati for my parent's 50th anniversary. The definition of Hospitality from when we exited our cars with the valet attendants to the hosts when we entered, and the team who served our party at the table. Not snobby or pretentious, the staff is very warm and personable. They engaged with our little ones, made honest recommendations on food and wine, and they made my mom and dad feel special on their special night. SUPER TIP FOR MORE WINE AND DESSERT!!! Split plate. I had no idea we could, but it is amazing. They prepare wonderful split plates. My wife and I split a steak Burrow and I ordered a separate salad. All the steaks are amazing. You cant lose. The mac and cheese is famous for a reason. The best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. The smokiness, the mouth feel, the flavor. Best part was they weren't dry and overcooked. Perfection. The butter pie was so good. I'm glad for the split plate. Easy to see why this place has so much history and success. The steak delivered that signature char flavor, the people and rooms create a wonderful experience, and the history is literally on every wall. Dont forget split plates, brussel sprouts, and butter pie!!

The Eagle OTR is a popular eatery and beer hall located in the historic Over-the-Rhine district. It's known for its perfectly crisp and juicy fried chicken, which is served with classic Southern sides like mac and cheese, spoonbread, succotash, coleslaw, white cheddar grits, collard greens, and tender biscuits drizzled with hot and spicy house honey.
Alright let’s get one thing straight: when a server says “this is my favorite app on the menu,” you order that app. These hush puppies were absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy and the sauce the came with was a nice blend of sweet and tangy. Location was great, and overall, it felt affordable. If you can, sit in the outdoor beer garden. Prime people-watching spot
Charlie J — Google review
My family raved about The Eagle OTR, so the next time we were in town, they took me to try the fried chicken. I ordered the BBQ Pork Burnt Ends as an appetizer and two pieces of chicken with collard greens as my side. First, the burnt ends were tasty. The sauce was sweet and enhanced the flavor of the meat. When my dinner came, I started with the side dish, as I always do. If a restaurant takes the time to create delicious side dishes, you know the main course is going to be great as well. My collard greens were good, but a bit under-seasoned for my tastebuds. I would have preferred more pepper, but I can't ding the rating over a personal preference. The chicken itself was underwhelming. I give it a 3.5 rating while the appetizer and side dish were a solid 4.0. The service was good despite the place being packed with more guests waiting outside. All in all, The Eagle is a nice place to enjoy a meal.

We relocated from Houston to Ohio for work, and The Eagle OTR was highly recommended by a colleague. As a disclaimer I’m from Houston and am accustomed to having a plethora of dining options, of which all are delicious. I ordered collard greens, mac and cheese and of course fried chicken as the menu was limited in protein options. The greens were underwhelming and lacked seasoning and spice. The cheese used for the mac and cheese was far too strong for mac and cheese and needed smoked gouda to balance the flavor of the dish. The fried chicken was under seasoned but fried to perfection. The spoon bread was the star of the show. The atmosphere was welcoming and very chill. The drinks were strong and our server was attentive and friendly. It’s a good place to have a southern meal if you don’t know any better. I was raised on real southern cuisine so for me it didn’t meet the mark

Nice historic looking place with good service. I was told the hot honey chicken was a must so thats what I ordered. Honestly it was pretty average. The hot honey did make it better but it was just okay to me.

Honestly a banger. I had: Mac and cheese Fried chicken sandwich (ask for extra pickles) Blackberry lemonade It was perfect for two people. This place CRUSHES everything. The chicken? Brined, juicy, double dredged, then fried. Ask for EXTRA house made pickles, they're heavenly The mac and cheese? It's genuinely the best. They use garlic bread breadcrumbs on top and the flavor layering is exceptional. The blackberry lemonade? PERFECT TART LEMONADE! You can taste the lemons not just essential oils with berry syrup.

After many recommendations to come here, I finally was able to grab some lunch while in town this week. I was not disappointed! Looking over the menu, I had my reservations about the "worlds beat fried chicken" claim. And although I may not agree (just yet), I can see why some may feel this sentiment! I ordered the pork belly burnt ends as an appetizer, shrimp and grits and the half chicken order. Pork belly burnt ends 3/5 - tender chunks of pork belly smothered in a tangy bbq sauce and served with ranch. These were decent size bites of pork belly. Coming from Texas (BEST BBQ IN THE WORLD) I was expecting more of a grilled or smoked flavor. These may have been braised or boiled, as the pork itself didn't have much flavor and was carried by the sauce. Shrimp and Grits 3.8/5 - these were pretty good. White cheddar grits that are cooked like you would at granny's house in the south (not the creamy, fluffy, whipped fancy grits like most places). A bit runnier than my preference, but good flavor. These were topped with shrimp, Andouille sausage and a gravy that added some good contrast of flavor to the grits. Overall, very good and if they were thicker I'd move into the 4+ rating Half chicken 4.6/5 - yea... They know how to do some fried chicken! Double dredged and pressure fried to get that crispy skin but JUICY interior. Although you can see the flecks of pepper and seasoning in the coating, it isn't overly seasoned which leaves room for the honey drizzle (or drowning in my case lol). Very well prepared and cooked. Hats off to the chef(s)! Bartender (Carly) was very knowledgeable and attentive. Gave me the menu rundown since it's my first visit and shared her personal faves. Pro tip: she suggested getting the grilled cheese and adding a fried chicken Brest to it! There were a few more menu items I'd like to try, so I will definitely be back when I'm in town next month!
Beaux C — Google review
The chicken was by far the best! The succotash was without a doubt the best I've ever had and our server at the bar was great! Now for the bad....the bathroom was filthy with over flowing trash, the restaurant itself was extremely small and not like the one in Indianapolis where there is an abundance of room and the hostess when arriving was extremely rude! We will go back for their food but will grab and go.

The food is beautifully presented, featuring a variety of fresh and flavorful options. The Brie Berry Salad is a standout, with its mix of grapes, brie, and blueberries complemented by caramelized pecans. The Burrata dish, served with roasted cherry tomatoes and garlic, is rich and satisfying, especially with the toasted baguette. The Chicken Salad sandwich with candied pecans and mixed greens is a tasty choice, paired perfectly with sweet potato fries. The menu also includes creative specials like the Seared Salmon with Thai chili sauce. Eric’s exceptional service made the meal even more enjoyable. A must-visit!

We went here off of a recommendation from family. We can see why. It was comfort food with a New Orleans twist. I enjoyed the Cajun pasta dish. I love how the chicken was shredded, you could taste the freshness of the vegetables, and the sauce was gravy-like and creamy. My fiancé had the braised short ribs which was tender, it said it reminded him of home mama used to make. There was a hint of nostalgia in each dish. The fried green tomatoes a tasty appetizer to begin with. It is a quaint, little place. It can be a little loud. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and inattentive at times, but overall that doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

Otto’s has been a Covington staple since 2003, and it’s easy to see why. I had the filet, cooked perfectly and elevated by an incredible blue cheese sauce that tied everything together. Restaurant
Pompilios is a charming Italian restaurant located in Newport, Kentucky, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Established in 1933, this family-friendly spot has gained local affection and even made appearances in movies like 'Rain Man' and 'Airborne.' The founder, Colonel Pompilio, holds the distinction of securing Kentucky's first post-Prohibition liquor license. The menu features classic Italian dishes such as homemade lasagna, manicotti, and veal.
It is a fantastic spot for authentic Italian cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions perfect for sharing. I ordered the Shrimp Ronaldo and the Italian Sampler Platter for my entrée, risotto balls as an appetizer, and finished with tiramisu for dessert—all of which were excellent. The patio has a great setup, making it a lovely place to dine outdoors. Inside, the décor and ambiance add to the restaurant’s charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. While service was a bit slower on a Tuesday night, I must say it was well worth the wait. The only downside is the parking—it can be a challenge to find a spot nearby. However, if the weather is nice, parking at the Levee and taking a short walk is a great alternative. Overall, Pompilio’s is a must-visit for anyone looking for quality Italian food in a cozy and welcoming setting. Highly recommend!

Just left our fav local Italian restaurant. Have been going to Pompillos for many years! Tonight, I ordered a simple penne pasta dish for $17.09. I added an order of 1 meatball for $2.29 (pricing acceptable) and then also ordered one Italian Sausage….. Get THIS ..$8.69 FOR ONE SUSAGE…. Over a 50% in cost of the price of the pasta order!!!! I pay about 1/2 this amount at some of the “finer restaurants in Manhattan, and yes, they are homemade as well!!! Unbelievable! The sausage is good…. But not $8.69 good. It should have been priced more comparable to the meatball …. With some slight up-charge for the ingredients. Never again… our business will go to another local Italian restaurant going forward.

We ended up finding street parking right outside the business. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and seated promptly. Our server was working a big party next to us but was attentive to our tables needs. Our food arrived, lobster Ravioli and penned with vodka sauce, both were sub-par and not what we expected after being recommended to try this place. The noodles did not taste fresh, vodka sauce wasn't flavorful/tastie and my meal seemed tobhave suce and cheese on it and then microwaved. The seafood Ravioli sauce was not tasty and again, the pasta tasted old. We ordered a cease salad and requested to share it and they brought us 2 plates with it already split for us. Lighting was dim. Can't remember if there was a TV since we sat all the way down in the back. Staff was friendly and constantly checked in on us. They close at 9pm but we're still taking customers at 8:30pm.

This is a great place for a meal after attending an event in downtown Cincinnati. The service is as good as you will ever experience. The atmosphere is wonderful; quiet and vintage. The 'Shrimp Ronaldo' is excellent; there are so many great flavors. The lasagna is a huge serving. But, it's not prepared the way I am accustomed. To me, it seemed dry and too much like an overbaked casserole. The fried ravioli appetizer was a little disappointing. The meat and cheese fillings are excellent. But, our order came out with quite a bit of black soot on it. I wonder if after frying, it was warmed up in something like a pizza oven. It was not at all crispy. But it tasted a little burnt. The marinara sauce that came with it was fantastic, though. The 'tiramisu' was absolutely delicious. I do believe their recipe is completely original. I didn't taste any espresso / coffee flavor. And, instead of cocoa powder sprinkled on top, it had a lot of Hershey syrup poured on. The serving was more than the two of us could eat. I wish that they could include just a small dinner salad or cup of soup with the entrées. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Pompilios.

Mita's Restaurant is a stylish establishment located in Downtown Cincinnati, offering a blend of Spanish and Latin American cuisine. The restaurant pays homage to Chef Jose Salazar's heritage and his mother's traditional cooking methods. The menu at Mita's is described as eclectic and farm-inspired, featuring a mix of traditional and modern dishes from both regions.
A lovely place for a dinner downtown! We split four tapas between two people and it made for a perfect dinner. The cocktails were smooth and well-balanced in their flavors, and our waiter’s recommendations for tapas were perfect. I highly recommend the tostones and avocado, the octopus, and the pork belly tacos. The meal left us feeling pleasantly full but not so stuffed that we couldn’t enjoy the rest of our night. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been wanting to try Mira’s for a long time. I made a dinner reservation online. I got the jicama ensalada, it’s was a little bitter but still fresh and served as a good starter. We got the ceviche de camarones, so shrimp. So good, very fresh a little tart. I love plantains any style but they complimented well. The short rib empanadas we my favorite. The had so much flavor and I loved the sauce. I also really enjoyed the pork belly tacos they were so so tender. The bartender made us a blanco cucumber marg as a dealer choice that was perfect. I will say there spicy marg are spicyyy. You’ve been warned lmao

Juan was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We made the mistake of not being very hungry, because everything was incredible and we wish we were able to try more. We tried the white sangria, tostones y guacamole, jamón serrano, patatas bravas, and tacos de lengua. The tostones and tacos were my two favorites. Their flavors were well balanced and comforting. Overall it was a very nice experience and it makes senses that they are a James Beard nominated restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spectacular dining experience at Mita’s! From start to finish, this was one of the most enjoyable meals we’ve had in Cincinnati. Every small bite was a flavor explosion; just one after another, each more creative and delicious than the last. The burgers were excellent, the cheeseboard was fantastic, and the empanadas were absolutely to die for. And then came dessert… the cheesecake and cookies were beyond amazing; the perfect sweet finish. As good as the food was, what really made the evening special was the service. Our server, Carmen, was outstanding; engaging, polite, and full of great conversation that made us feel right at home. She truly elevated the experience. As the owners of Grounded All Day Café in Lexington, we know the importance of both spectacular food and genuine hospitality; Mita’sdelivers both in spades. Whenever we leave our hometown for Cincinnati, it’s such a joy to find a place that makes us feel so welcomed and so well fed. Five stars all the way!

Recommend making a reservation. Go to spot for anniversary and special occasions. I’m not a fan of margaritas but Mitas margaritas are top notch! Pork belly tacos are heaven. Always go for the bread with romesco, shishito peppers, hamburguesas, and tostones and guac. Favorite restaurant in the area!
Brittany C — Google review
I love every single dish I have ever received. If you think you know what's it's going to taste like, expect to be impressed as they somehow have a way of elevating flavors I didn't know was possible. I dream of the bread and olive oil, I have tried to recreate the shishito peppers, and I will always order the chef's specials. Mitas seems to outdo themselves over and over again. This is my favorite restaurant, hands down the best you can get.

The food is very delectable, it will dance on your taste buds. You will leave very satisfied and probably with no leftovers. I actually had a hard time getting out of my chair because I was so full. The service is absolutely wonderful. The staff is super nice, warm, and friendly. The pay attention to the needs of their customers. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and Friendly. I would highly recommend this spot if you like good vibes and amazing food.

Camp Washington Chili is a must-visit landmark in Cincinnati, serving up delicious chili and casual food 24 hours a day (closed on Sundays) in a charming 1940s-style space. When visiting Cincinnati, trying the local chili is essential, and Camp Washington Chili is an iconic spot to experience this regional specialty.
Great customer service, and food was good. I like the chili hotdog, the atmosphere brings you back to the 50s. Also, it's very convenient because it's open 24hours. The prices are reasonable too

Happy to have experienced a Cincinnati chili experience (beside Skyline). However, the nostalgia ran thin quickly. Food was 100% as expected and desired. However, the restaurant needs to pay their AC bill. It was uncomfortably hot. Making it equally uncomfortable was seeing the staff actively complaining and sweating during service. Either close until repaired, or manage your staff. Paying guests shouldn't be exposed during service. I am happy to experience, but one and done for this Cincinnati tourist.

Classic spot for Cincinnati-style chili! Rich, bold flavor with a nice coarse beef texture. Loved the three-way over spaghetti, and the retro diner vibe makes it even better. Open 24/6 – perfect for any time you’re craving chili.👍🏻

Camp Washington Chili is one of Cincinnati's crown jewels and his been a tradition since 1940 winning many awards for their great food. With that being said, i don't get a chance to stop by all that often but when we do we always look for a great food experience for sure. On this particular visit in October 2025 my wife and i arrived around the 10:15 am to 10:30 am hour. From the outside this place looks so amazing and when you enter the neon lights set this place off. With its 50's retro tables and chairs and the walls filled with great memorabilia, it certainly makes you feel welcome. On this rain morning we wanted to stop in to check out their breakfast of which they did not disappoint. My wife enjoyed the scrambled eggs with a side of toast which was presented to our table steaming hot. For me it was a classic double decker of ham and turkey on white bread. The servings are more than generous as compared to some other restaurants for sure so the portion size on this day was appreciated. If you get a chance be sure to check out all the articles, photos and media accolades that acknowledge this Cincinnati favorite. Camp Washington Chili is open 24 hours a day except when they close on Sundays, for time with family.

We have had Gold Star and Skyline and Gold star is our favorite of those two but wanted to try some non chain locations to see which one we felt was best. Out of the 4 we tried and adding the 2 chains, Camp Washington was not our favorite. It would rank 6th for us. The exterior was uninviting at the drive through area. Could use some cleaning. Service was okay. However, the sauce tastes like beer which for none beer drinkers it’s not appealing but that wasn’t the deal breaker. Bun was sooo soggy you couldn’t pick it up to eat. My bread and hotdog ended up being eaten separately as it fell completely apart. I’m being very generous with the stars.

A cincinnati classic, they have all the great classic diner food in a clean 50's style. the cincinnati style chili they have is a taste closer to normal chili then skyline chili

I waited 22 minutes for a tuna sandwich and fries. I won’t be going back anytime soon took up my whole lunch break, and I called the order in prior to coming they were serving everybody else ordered that came after me. I had to go up to the counter and ask them about my tuna sandwich. Three other people that came after me got their food before I did…. Tuna sandwich and fries was 3/5 stars it was tasty but nothing to keep going back .

Affordable and delicious! The service was a little off. The cook and wait staff were lacking the manager on duty after he asked them to clean some stuff during a slow period. The employees seem unenthusiastic and not motivated. The manager was pleasant, never stopped working, and dressed professionally.

Bouquet Restaurant, located in Covington, Kentucky, offers a unique dining experience with a focus on seasonal American cuisine and an extensive bourbon collection. Chef Stephen Williams established the restaurant as a pioneer in embracing local and sustainable farming. With deep relationships with over 50 local farmers, the menu is constantly evolving to showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Such an amazing experience. Bouquet has such a fantastic modern urban vide while keeping traditional architecture of old Covington. The food was all completely unique and balanced with a wide variety of offerings. The tapas style helped to sample a variety of fantastic options. The wine/drink pairings helped to build upon the dining experience. The staff was superb with top notch service and offered great suggestions upon our palate. Alexandra, our server was so attentive and kind the whole experience. We 100% recommend Bouquet!

This is honestly one of the best tasting restaurants I’ve had in the Cincinnati area. It’s a small menu but they do it will and are very good at adapting to dietary restrictions. My wife got tofu subbed in the risotto dish that originally had fish and it was still amazing! I will be back to try a few more dishes because everything tasted healthy and refreshing. It’s an older building but they stay true to their roots of farm to table. Certainly would recommend for a date night!

This was quite the dining experience. From the first bite, everything was a flavor explosion. Some flavors were greatly appreciated and others appealed to different palates, nonetheless it was excellent and entertaining to try as much as possible. Great place for a close group willi g to share some bites amongst each other. Superb date night spot with Menue Course selections and additional wine pairings if needed. Pricey buy worth it ! Great atmosphere and superb servers just not a traditional dining experience so know what you're getting into but I highly recommend the culinary journey. Enjoy !

The Original Pancake House is a beloved diner chain that has been serving classic American breakfast favorites since the 1950s. With multiple locations, this casual, family-style restaurant offers all-day breakfast featuring signature pancakes and other traditional dishes like omelets and biscuits with gravy. The star of the menu is their extensive selection of pancakes, ranging from simple options like chocolate chip or blueberry to more unique choices such as Swedish pancakes with lingonberries and whipped butter.
The menu goes beyond pancakes, featuring delicious crepes, omelets, and a variety of breakfast proteins. Ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous, ensuring great value for diners. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for families or casual meet-ups. Service tends to be friendly and efficient, although peak hours can lead to a wait. Overall, The Original Pancake House is a fantastic choice for breakfast lovers. Whether you're craving sweet or savory, this spot has something to satisfy every palate. Highly recommend!

So many good options we couldn't decide. Went with the German style pancakes. Very good. Staff was fantastic and attentive. Price is great.

While visiting Cincinnati for a weekend getaway, we found The Original Pancake House through a Google search. This is a super neat and very attractive restaurant that is in a strip mall, but is distinguished by its lovely yellow and white striped awning. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the hostess station and seated right away. Our server was very friendly and helped us in deciding what to order from their extensive menu. I had the corn beef hash with poached eggs and rye toast and my husband had the Michaels Special which was eggs Benedict with sausage and sauteed mushrooms and came with a side of potato pancakes. We both had their fresh-squeezed orange juice. Everything was delicious and service was stellar. I think the star of the show was the potato pancakes. Overall this was a flawless meal and anytime I am in Cincinnati, I will be eating here.
Sharon C — Google review
Absolutely amazing service, despite being very busy on a Sunday morning! The Dutch baby was unbelievably tasty but the shining star was the apple pancake! We couldn’t come close to finishing either as the portions are huge, but we certainly enjoyed every single bite we could fit in!
Nici — Google review
The portions are big and the people are friendly here. We had the western omelet breakfast with 3 buttermilk pancakes. The omelet uses four eggs, so it was quite hearty. There was nothing special about the pancakes, though that came with the omelet. The freshly squeezed orange juice was pretty good. They were very busy, but the service was fast enough. We got a window seat, which was nice, but there was a fly buzzing around the whole time. We asked the waiter to kill the fly 🪰 and he grabbed a magazine from somewhere and murdered the fly. The clientele was of the older generation. The locals seem to like this pancake house. We met some very friendly locals there and they gave this place very high marks. Overall, I felt like the food was average, but I would come back here again.
The L — Google review
I went here with my boyfriend for a breakfast date. IHOP called me after, but this place had me saying "New number, who dis?" If you want that old diner feel without the grime, try this place. If you regret it, well maybe you were rude to the staff because their food is 🔥
Brittany H — Google review
The Original Pancake House has fantastic food—there's no denying it. Every time I go, the pancakes are fluffy, the eggs are cooked perfectly, and the bacon is smokey. It’s the kind of breakfast that hits the spot every time. However, there are some major downsides. The hours are weird and inconsistent, so don’t count on it being open when you think it should be. Service is okay—some servers are friendly and efficient, others not so much, but you’ll usually get what you need without much hassle. Now for the biggest issue: the place is filthy. The ceiling tiles are stained from water damage, the ceiling fans and lights are absolutely caked in dust, and the walls are chipped, worn-out wood that looks like it hasn’t been touched in years. The floors are consistently slippery, which feels both gross and unsafe. If they ever did a deep clean and freshened up the place, it could easily be a 5-star breakfast spot. But until then, just know you’re trading a delicious meal for a dingy environment. Oh... And it's overpriced.
Staci W — Google review
The portion sizes are HUMONGOUS!!! I got an omelet and it was the size of the ENTIRE PLATE. Not just the length of the plate. Im talking the CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE ENTIRE PLATE!!! I literally got 3 meals out of it. I took a girlfriend there for her first time. Asked our waitress a recommendation. She got the Dutch Pancake with strawberries and lemon. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head when she ate that and instantly said she was bringing her husband there for a meal. I wish I could give the 10 STARS!!!!

Taste of Belgium - The Banks is a delightful café that brings a taste of Belgian cuisine to Cincinnati. This charming spot specializes in mouthwatering omelettes, delectable waffles, and scrumptious crepes, all inspired by traditional Belgian flavors. Founded by a Belgian expat longing for authentic waffles from home, the café offers unique treats like Liege waffles and locally-inspired goetta crepes.
I have seen their signage all around Cincinnati. We stopped in for breakfast. My wife and I ordered the breakfast place, which included a signature waffle. My daughter ordered the s’mores crepe. When I bit into my waffle, my mouth went on a journey! I have had many waffles but none like this. Highly recommend this place for delicious food and drinks.

Our server, Laura, was amazing. She even made a list of recommendations for other places we might want to visit! And the food? Outstanding. Every Single Thing. My waffle flight was the perfect choice.
Vinnie R — Google review
First time ever at Taste of Belgium. And I must say the food with some of the best tasting food we've ever had. We stopped in after the Reds game, it's missing a star mostly because it was very hot where we were sitting which affects the atmosphere and had we gotten a drink refill without having to go ask the manager for it that would have bolstered the other one.
Roger C — Google review
We arrived approximately 35 minutes before closing and, out of courtesy, called ahead to confirm that our late arrival would not be an issue. We were assured it would be fine. Upon arrival, we were greeted and served by Heaven, who took both our drink and food orders at the same time, which we didn’t mind. After placing our order, we noticed our appetizer was placed under the heat lamp just a few minutes later. Unfortunately, it remained there for nearly 10 minutes until the rest of our meal was ready, at which point all the food was brought out together. This diminished the freshness and presentation of the appetizer. Additionally, we had requested that the salads be served on the side. However, one salad was missing entirely, while the other was served directly on the plate. When I inquired about the timing of the appetizer, the server responded with a laugh, which came across as dismissive. Despite the service issues, the food itself was flavorful and consistent with what we’ve come to expect from this restaurant chain, which is the reason this is a 3-star review rather than a lower rating. We are longtime fans of the Over-the-Rhine location and occasionally make special trips from Louisville just to dine there. However, based on this particular experience, we would not return to this location.

I went with two other people out for dinner and we all shared our dishes. Everything was amazing! We were at a different location for breakfast and loved it so much that we had to come back. We got the poutine, Nashville chicken and waffles, and the Beltucky. All the food was delicious! I just absolutely love their waffles so much. It's unlike any waffle I've ever had! We brought a whole bunch home for family and friends and of course some for ourselves! The staff was great and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area! This location is especially conveniently located near a lot of other great attractions.

Jean-François Fletched moved from Belgium to Cincinnati in 2000. He started selling his authentic Liège waffles at Findlay Market in 2007 and was an instant hit. In 2011, Jean-François opened his first Taste of Belgium. Frites and dips are fries served with four different dips. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and lightly salted. My personal favorite of the dips was the curry ketchup and the malt vinegar mayo. I ordered the Classic Bennie, which is served on their waffle, rather than an English Muffin and has grilled ham and arugula. I have recently realized that I really enjoy arugula with breakfast. The bitterness of the arugula and the hollandaise that had a very pronounced lemon flavor, was so delicious. The waffle was very sweet. All together the flavors worked very well, however I would still rather the English Muffin because I want my eggs Benedict to be savory not sweet. Some other dishes that were ordered were savory crepes, granola parfait, Belgium Burger, a mimosa flight 🥰 Knights Reserve and some iced coffees. The building was beautiful and it’s in such a wonderful location. You are literally in between @Cincinnati Bengals and @Cincinnati Reds stadiums. A good food from Europe. First time trying Belgium food, we ordered “Bolo” “Steak and fries” “Chicken Burger” and “Salmon”everything was delicious! One remark to staff, educate more your waitress about menu, it’s hard to make a decision what to order if you not familiar with Belgium cuisine. PS. The problem is finding the parking in Cincinnati downtown specifically in Saturday night. I parked on the street and paid 5$ for two hours which is not bad.
Leonid B — Google review
I went to the one in Oakley and got the Black Bean burger with breakfast it was mushy and uncooked or edible. Nice atmosphere. I went to the one on the banks and waited one hour for my food only for me to go to the register and they said my ticket didn’t get sent back to the kitchen. Waited another 30 min for my salmon dinner for $23.00. My salmon was 3oz after I weighed it on a food scale at home. So $23 for 3oz salmon and vegetable mix.

Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati, The Echo is a beloved local spot that has been serving up comfort food and drinks since 1945. I’ve been here a couple times and absolutely loved it. It’s a good place to get a hearty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. The food is good, the service is outstanding and despite the place being a bit cramped at time it’s cozy. I particularly recommend this one thing I had that I think was called the Flying Pig. 9/11/25 After a hospital visit, my husband and I stopped at Echo for breakfast. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce and the country boy style. Both tasted good and were prepared well. My husband had Steph’s Sampler and added bananas and chocolate chips as toppings, though we later found out that came with an extra charge. The pancakes themselves were okay, but a little underwhelming. The staff were very friendly and polite, and I appreciated how quickly we were served, and able to get out. The place is very mom and pop feel. Overall, it was a decent breakfast and convenient stop, but nothing that stood out enough for me to want to make a return visit.

A sweet little place tucked in amongst the buildings located in Hyde Park was definitely a find!!! Just a small diner with alot of old charm. From the time we arrived to being seated was a short wait and the staff was so very friendly including our amazing waitress Tina which all made for a great morning. We enjoyed the Baked Caramel apple French toast, omelet w/ homefries, Steph's sampler and the Hot Mess. Highly recommend as your next breakfast hot spot! Arrive early as the line can easily run out the door and up the sidewalk, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Coppin's Restaurant & Bar, located at Hotel Covington, pays homage to the building's history as Coppins Department Store. The restaurant offers locally sourced New American fare and cocktails in a rustic-chic gastropub setting. The menus are designed for sharing and feature influences from both Northern and Southern neighbors of Covington. The establishment highlights local craft beers, cider, sodas, wine, and cocktails on draft.
Amazing vibe at the place! Grabbed a late lunch between stops on the B-Line (NKY Bourbon Trail) and it did not disappoint!!!! The atrium is amazing but the quaint patio is even more so! We had it to ourselves this afternoon and our waitress was amazing with her drink and food recommendations. The Liquid Knowledge was amazing and the Tater Tots were unique- I’ve never experienced anything like them. Crispy but soft flaky layers with crunch in between the inner layers? Crazy good!

Alright, let's dive into the amazing world of Coppin's restaurant and bar. This place is a gem, and here's why: First off, let me talk about Chris, the bar tender extraordinaire. This guy is a magician behind the bar. His drinks are so balanced and delicious, you'll question whether he's secretly an alchemist. I've had my fair share of espresso martinis, but Chris's is in a league of its own. It's like he's pouring liquid gold into your glass, and every sip is a symphony of flavors. The vibe at Coppin's is electric. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and let the good times roll. The decor is on point, the staff is friendly, and the energy is so good, you'll want to stay all night. But back to Chris—this guy is more than just a bar tender; he's an artist. His creativity with cocktails is off the charts, and he's got this uncanny ability to read what you need in a drink. I swear, he's like a long-lost brother, always there to make your night better. So, if you're looking for a place that combines great food, amazing drinks, and an atmosphere that's unbeatable, Coppin's is the spot. Come here with an open mind and a thirst for something special, and you won't be disappointed. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you, and you might just find a new best friend behind the bar.

Great dining experience. Bar drinks were quick and great. All service was fantastic, friendly and great with suggestions. Food wait wasn't long and came out amazing. Great atmosphere and beautiful views under the glass roof. Very comfortable place.

Coppins was recommended to me by a friend. Walking in I was greeted by friendly people and sat in the atrium. The special was a 16 oz steak and brussel sprouts. Recommend arriving hungry. Excellent meal! The sweet potato tres leches cake and an Americano coffee finished off the meal. I will be back.

We would give 10 stars if we could!!! 🌟🌟🌟 We recently dined at Coppin’s Restaurant in Covington, KY and let’s just say — we left our taste buds in orbit! The atmosphere was classy yet cozy, the service was top-notch, and the food? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. 🌍💫 We were celebrating the annual visit of a dear friend from Germany 🇩🇪, but after a meal like this, we refuse to wait another year to return! Let’s break it down: 🥇 My mother-in-law — who has a very discerning palate — declared the salmon the BEST she’s ever had! 🥇 I devoured the scallops with… wait for it… LIMA BEANS. 🫘🔥 I would go to the ends of the earth for those lima beans — buttery, tender, and totally unforgettable. 🥇 And the grand finale: Strawberry Rhubarb Galette 🍓🥧 — tart, sweet, flaky perfection. A mic-drop moment for dessert! We left floating on a foodie cloud and already plotting our return. Thank you, Coppin’s, for turning an annual reunion into a culinary celebration! 🎉 #CoppinsCovington #CovingtonEats #GermanFriendsAndGoodFood #FoodieHeavenKY #ScallopLoversUnite #LimaBeanLove #RealEstateEats #ProvenHomeProsApproved #KentuckyBites #GreaterCincyDining #HouseHuntersAndHungryBellies

The service was excellent, food was average and very expensive for a simple pasta dish which I could make at home for a couple dollars. The chairs are huge and ceilings are extremely high. It felt like dining in a rotunda. They have a huge selection of Kentucky Bourbon and, if you are a fan, this might be a great place to try.

We stayed at Hotel Covington for three nights for honeymoon and ate twice at Coppin’s. The first time we had pork belly, coppin salad and steak, and second time we had tuna, coppin salad, salmon and potato tots. The food overall was very tasty and impressed my picky hubby :) We wanted to give special thanks to our servers, both were wonderful and extremely friendly! They heard about we were on honeymoon trip and offered free dessert and champion toast. Unfortunately we forgot first server’s name, the second time was Carina. Carina noticed that I don’t do alcohol so she provided same-taste, alcohol-free sparking drink to me, alongside with champion to my hubby, how thoughtful was that! Thank you!

I chose this place for my sisters birthday because I love the esthetics. When we got there we waited a little longer than usual for the waitress to come to our table. Not sure if she was a manager but a women named JAMIE took great care of us. She made my sisters birthday lunch the best. JAMIE deserves to be promoted for being so kind and attentive to us!!!! We will definitely go back but only if JAMIE is there lol

Argentinian restaurant
Ché is a popular Argentine restaurant in Cincinnati that has been serving up authentic street foods for nearly a decade. What began as a food truck has now expanded to two locations, both exuding the same love and charm as the original truck. The restaurant takes pride in its artisanal cuisine, particularly its handcrafted empanadas that showcase divine flavors. The rustic and dimly lit dining room provides an inviting ambiance for patrons to savor these delectable offerings while enjoying a variety of drinks.
Hands down, this was the best food I’ve ever had in Cincinnati — From start to finish, this restaurant blew us away with both the quality of the food and the incredible service. The steak tacos were absolutely amazing — perfectly seasoned and cooked, with generous portions. The chicken tacos were great too, but the steak really stole the show. We also tried the empanadas, and the short rib and Cubano were amazing. We started with the guacamole appetizer, and it was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Every single dish we tried exceeded our expectations. Honestly, not a single item on the menu disappointed us — everything was beyond great. The margaritas were just as impressive — flavorful, strong and a beyond fairly priced. On top of all that, our server was phenomenal. So kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about giving guests a great experience. You could tell they genuinely cared, which made our night even better. The restaurant itself was spotless and comfortable, which added to the overall enjoyment. We’re already looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in town. This place is a must-try.

Missed Potential in Flavor & Experience Came in on a Sunday afternoon for dinner with my girlfriend. With only one other table of five, the restaurant was far from busy, creating a relaxed but somewhat uninspiring atmosphere. While the interior was clean, the decor didn’t reflect the Argentinean essence I expected. Instead, it gave off the impression of a seafood restaurant attempting to mimic an 1800s ship, almost as if it was inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean. We started with empanadas, intending to explore the menu further. My girlfriend ordered three chicken salsa verde empanadas and one buffalo chicken, while I chose one buffalo chicken and one de carne empanada. The empanadas were well-cooked and filling, but the overall experience was underwhelming. A major letdown was the lack of attentive service. The server spent most of the time on his phone at the bar, only approaching at the end of our meal to refill water. Had he checked in earlier, I would have requested a proper side salsa to enhance the empanadas with a bolder, tangy, and spicier kick. The provided olive oil-packed Chimichurri and blue cheese didn’t do much to elevate the flavors, leaving the dish bland and uninspired. As a Latino dining at a Latin American restaurant, I anticipated flavors that reminded me of my roots. Instead, I found a place that seemed more tailored for milder, less adventurous palates rather than those who appreciate the depth and spice of authentic Latin cuisine. At $5.50–$6 per empanada, I expected a richer experience—more flavor, better service, and definitely more salsa. Unfortunately, the visit didn’t inspire me to explore the rest of the menu, and I’ll likely seek out other Argentinean spots that deliver on both authenticity and customer care

Wow diamond in the middle of Cincinnati downtown. They serve great food with amazing flavors. The stuff is nice and friendly. Very helpful. We had a blast there. Great prices too.

Husband and I love trying out new cuisine so took advantage of seeing this Argentinian place on a trip to Cincinnati. Looked up both the classic Argentinian foods are and we're happy to see that they had a lot of them on the menu. Vibe of the place was absolutely lovely. So aesthetic; Especially the seating in the back side with the wooden panel and the lights and all of that stuff. As for the food, this was really delicious. Fugazzeta - It was like a cheese stuffed flatbread pizza kind of a thing and just phenomenal. Literally oozing with cheese inside and outside and still had the perfect balance of cheese and bread. I love classic cheese pizza with some chili flakes and this is perfect with the chili flakes on top. Quite a big potions size as well so we ended up taking most of it to go and reheating it the next day but no issues because those were great as well. Really good variety of empanada options and it was hard to pick. Pick ended up getting the Short Rib and Salsa Verde Chicken (since I was trying to be a little healthy and get a leaner meat that wasn't fried). That short rib empanada was unbelievable! Crispy flaky crust and very delicious meat on the inside. The chicken one was just subpar so I wouldn't recommend it. Also got the Chioripan - This is another traditional dish which is basically like a hot dog. Kind of a bun with a local sausage and some chimichurri and other good stuff inside. I know that the sausage can be quite high in fat, but overall this was a really, really delicious sandwich! I ended up removing most of the chimichurri but it was phenomenal just the same. Hearts of Palm Salad was PHENOMENAL!!

Me and my fiancé LOVE Che. We go as many times as we can and for our anniversary every year. Cannot recommend their chimichurri enough. We are stuck on the empanadas, but I also highly recommend the side dishes. If you haven’t tried it, go there!

Absolutely delicious, had the pear salad. It was excellent. Service was excellent as well, our server was very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant..

Was hoping to be more impressed, but everything was just ok. First off the whole place kinda smelled like a bathroom. Like they are having sewage issues. We was the only table in there and the waitress never came back after we got our food. We ordered 2 of the 'perfect margaritas', they was anything but perfect. They were watered down. Tasted like lime and salt. Waitress was nice and got us different drinks but not before she explained how they were made and in a nice way made it seem like it was our issue. But I've tried many margaritas and these were some of the worst. The food was good. But nothing special.

My fiance and I had a really great time here. I used to work here way back in 2001... Can't believe this place is still open!! People still drive from far (like I did today) just for the chips and salsa, which I highly recommend (of course, now they charge for it, but it's worth the $2.50)... I also covered a new reason to make the drive: crab cake sliders!! Oh my. These things are AMAZING!!! You must try these two things, if you try nothing else! I've never had something so perfect. Wow!!! And the total cost for everything? Super reasonable! We will be back again from Indy soon!!

Cactus pear has fell off bad . For starters the guy answering the phone needs more training . I order two items , ge reappeared both back but only rung up one thing . . They Charged me $17 for a Salmon Cesar salad . They gave me a big box a lettuce & the salmon was almost as thin as paper and as big as the palm of my hand . I also order the queso and the chips aren’t even authentic or house made . It’s literally nacho chips you get at the movies or a high school football game , gross . I wish I would have looked inside the box of chips before I left otherwise I would have refunded that too . I’m very disappointed. I brag to ppl about the salad . I haven’t been in a year and I come back to a place I love just to be disappointed.

They were out of alot of things when i was there. The food was very different than regular Mexican food. The only good thing was the cheese dip which was very small and very expensive and the margaritas that they had in stock. The pricing was also wrong for the drinks. Oh and our friends food came out very late. The rest of us were almost done. I don't plan to go back

They food was good. We went because we wanted Mexican with outdoor seating. We called first and was told they were full. We decided to go and hang at the bar until a seat open but when we went the restaurant was almost empty so we had no problem getting a seat on the patio. The patio was walled on all 4 sides and decorated. Services was slow. No refills or drinks offered after the first one. Food was good but soso service.

Decent tex-mex place. The location is within walking distance of the Cincinnati zoo; we ate here for lunch when we went to the zoo. The flavor on the cheese fajita was bland, my partner's blue corn fajitas definitely turned out better. The speed of the service was quite impressive.

Established in 1962, Price Hill Chili Family Restaurant is a beloved neighborhood spot offering classic American comfort food in a laid-back atmosphere. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this eatery on Glenway Avenue is known for its hearty breakfast options including egg dishes, omelets, French toast, and pancakes. The restaurant's signature 5-way chili with generous cheese topping is highly recommended.
A food’s always good. I had the Ruben and fries it was cooked perfectly, came out quickly. The only thing I can say they could work on is cleaning out on the patio where we sat. It’s dirty and full of cobwebs. It’s time to spring clean.

Food was great, service was awesome. However... I was a bit taken aback by the weird Dick Cheney shrine that encompasses the entrance. Articles and pictures about the Dick maybe or maybe not visiting the chili parlor were surprising to see regardless of your politics.

We have had Gold Star and Skyline and Gold star is our favorite of those two but wanted to try some non chain locations to see which one felt was best. Out of the 4 we tried and adding the 2 chains. Price Hill Chili Family Restaurant ranked #2 for us. Very good chili dog and very kind informative service from 4th generation family.

They sat me at a dirty table and I had to ask multiple times for them to clean it off. The fries were cold and soggy. The coney dog was good but not any better than every other one in Cincinnati. Whole restaurant had a weird smell. My server was very nice though.

I had a terrific dinner here tonight with my husband. We sat at the bar because I looked the more intimate atmosphere. We were greeted by a server wearing a mask that took our drink orders. We had the option of an actual menu or using a QR code for the menu. We started with the greek salad which was big enough for two to share. It was very fresh and delicious. I ordered the Greek yogurt and my husband had the Boom Boom burger. Both entrees came out quickly, hot and tasty. We also ordered the Greek fries as neither sandwich came with a side. For dessert we had the traditional baklava and cheesecake. The baklava seemed to have been frozen but it was still good. The cheesecake was thick with a creamy top. We really enjoyed our service and other customers in the bar as well as our food!

I wanted to get a unique chili experience in Cincinnati and I wasn't disappointed. The service was outstanding: drinks on the table right away, food out 3 minutes after ordering and the chili and coney was great. I plan on coming back.

It was my first time here and I heard the food was good. I went with a couple of friends and we had to wait a bit because it was busy! Parking was hard because it was super full. I got the corned beef hash and eggs, which also comes with home fries and toast for about $7! The price of everything was incredible for the big sized portions. The corned beef hash and home fries were a bit more wet than I usual expect it to be, but still pretty good. I expected crispy fries, but they were a bit soggy. However, everything was made well and tested good. The sandwich that we ordered was huge! It was stacked with meat and very much worth the price. This is a great place for a comfort meal, casual date, good breakfast, or a meal with the family. It gives off a very home comfort vibe. Staff was very nice and accommodating!

This restaurant deserves the title of “the BEST IN CINCINNATI”. Chill and bright atmosphere. Always packed, very popular. Pancakes were huge and fluffy . Even the gluten-free pancakes came out fluffy and very tasty. don’t forget the syrup and other sauce they added to the various pancakes. they were delicious to the core and ingredients are all sourced locally. Avo toast were unique, came with so much healthier ingredients. Sandwiches stacked high and yummy. I was full on half of it. Definitely can be shared. We also like the puréed seasonal soup and all the coffee drinks. Service was SUPER … down to earth attitude, knowledgeable of the items on menu, friendly and efficient. Value: worth every penny. Reasonable for the quality of the ingredients you can get here.

One of my favorite places to go since I started eating out regularly. Extremely relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, kind and more than accommodating staff, and above all a great menu. If you prefer straight forward and delicious food without needing to overthink your choice, you'll appreciate the one and a half page menu where every option I've tried has been delicious. Great breakfast spot especially!

We had an amazing experience here. The service was welcoming, and we didn't have to wait long to get to our table. The food was good. I wish they had fresh strawberries for the pancake, as most pancake places do. The coffees were great, especially the latte. We would highly recommend this spot, but be prepared to wait for a table, especially on weekends.

This was the perfect fresh breakfast I’ve been searching for. Food was delicious, staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. The “Bee Cake” pancakes piqued my interest and my waitress was happy to explain. Basically, it’s a gluten free pancake made with honey and pollen that helps the dough raise like a “normal” pancake. However it had a surprisingly familiar mouth feel and a welcomed nutty flavor! Couldn’t be happier! The breakfast sandwich I got was also delicious and fresh. Truly enjoyed this breakfast so much, I might say it’s the best part of the whole city!

First time coming to this place and will never return. It was slightly busy but waiters were just standing around talking to each other. We had to go up to a server to be put on the waitlist and they had told us it’s about a 10-15 minute wait, turned out to be 25-30. Finally got sat and the waitress that was her first day today was very polite and gave us water (she was doing amazing!), our actual waitress took our drink order and didn’t bring out the actual drinks til 10-15 minutes later. I’m assuming smoothies shouldn’t be room temp and melted, she took our food order the same time as drinks and they had been sitting in the window for quite a bit of time. The eggs weren’t hot anymore and had a rubbery texture to them, the potatoes were started to taste cold. Our waitress had only checked up on us once and felt like she was ignoring our table while talking to her coworkers more. Payed a total of 44 dollars just to enjoy warm smoothies and rubbery eggs, Atleast the place was pretty and aesthetic. Our waitresses name was Alejandra R.

Amazing place! We walked into the Sleepy Bee in downtown Cincinnati and, after a short 15-minute wait, got our table. Atmosphere was busy and vibrant, with perfect lighting, cozy, modern, and full of energy. It’s truly the perfect spot for a Saturday late brunch. Our server, Sophia, was wonderful, kind, informative, and full of joy. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was thrilled to see so many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options on the menu. Honestly, it’s a 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely be coming back probably a hundred times! Don’t miss this gem!

Unfortunately this place did not come near to satisfying our party of 4. We each ordered a meal that was subpar. Our “chorizo” meals did not have typical “chorizo”, just plain breakfast sausage in the scrambled eggs and burrito. When we inquired about the strange choice of “chorizo”, their response was different areas use different sausage as their chorizo. WTH kind of response was that? In that case just put breakfast sausage in your menu item descriptions, not “chorizo”. The food was subpar and took a long time to come out to our table as we watched it just getting dryer and dryer on the kitchen counter. Unfortunately, the food and the service equal in their subpar nature. We had to ask for water, creamers, sugars for coffee, etc. We will definitely never be going back. The ONLY good thing was the oatmeal I ordered. We had to order another one to go so my wife could eat something satisfying. In total, we had pancakes, burritos, scrambled “chorizo” eggs, egg and bacon platter, and oatmeal. Overall review would be a 1 out of 10.

Love sleepy bee, but got takeout from this location and the quality was terrible. Each meal had only TWO potatoes as a side. TWO! The potatoes are my favorite part, and they came unseasoned, with none of the promised sauce. I’d recommend going somewhere else, unless you want to be ripped off.

I stopped in looking for some good Mexican food but found more of an eclectic twist on traditional fare. I had the empanadas and decided to stop there. They were ok but nothing to write home about. I found $6 each for a taco a la carte to be a bit more than I wanted to spend on one. The margarita was not very good either. The only thing extensive on the menu, was the prices. I’ll not be visiting this one again.

We came for early dinner om Friday night. No reservations required. But if you have more than 3-4 persons, it's better to have reservations. The food is overall okay. Not that tasty in my opinion. I don't think i will come back. Tried it once and it's enough. Our server was too busy with other tables. The music was too loud and didn't go with the restaurant theme.

Vibrant flavor at a reasonable price with a disappointing hygiene. Came in on the reds opening day after this place was recommended by a close friend. Apparently their very own “Turtles” were the item in the menu to order so we ordered two. One in baja style and one in Diablo style which is one of their items with the most heat 🔥 When i walked in, i was a bit confused due to the fact that no one is at the front door to greet or direct you and for a first timer like me— it was baffling. The concept is like a fast food restaurant in which you order off a standardized menu on a board behind the counter and can make requests to add or remove a specific element off each style. The food did take a while to come out. I assume it was because of the time closer to closing time. I was told by one of my friends that this place started as a take out restaurant only in which people would order through the small window on the side of the building which is still there! It started as a late night meal take out and eventually they rented the rest of the space and were finally able to open a dine in area. The ambiance was the unpleasant part of the experience and was definitely concerning. All the tables were dirty and had crumbs from the previous customers, there was no safe place. On a very slow night like this one, i would expect a more hygienic environment or at least an attempt to accommodate new customers to sit and enjoy their meal on a clean space. Also, one of the cooks came out of the kitchen with no gloves nor hair knit to take the trash. Huge red flag for me. The sanitation was the biggest downfall; nonetheless, the food was delightful, vibrant, and unique to their style. The turtles were crunchy packed with flavor and the tortilla which felt more like a pita or gyro was a great portion size considering it was 12$—-not a bad deal. The real kick was brought by the diablo style turtle which had me breathing heavily and making several trips to the self serve water station. It was vibrant, flavor packed, fresh and bold which is very characteristic of a mexican style restaurant. So spicy that it made me reconsider using their restroom. I know it must be a real concern for the maintenance guy there! I recommend getting their spicy crema sauce which settles down the heat and also adds a little kick to your meal. 2 in one which is like magic. All in all, i would come back to order take out but due to their unsanitary conditions, i wouldn’t eat at the restaurant again. Would recommend with caution. 4/5 ⭐️

Gomez turtles are a must if you’re in Cincinnati. Like Taco Bell on flavor steroids. So delicious and a Cincinnati staple.

Gomez catered my sister's wedding this past weekend and did an amazing job! They released tables in the order my brother-in-law and my sister wanted, kept everything stocked and tidy, and served plates to the newlyweds perfectly. I am a professional wedding DJ and coordinator, and they made it so easy for me to enjoy the wedding and not stress at all!

The tacos I had were called “turtles” super amazing super good the price I’d say a little crazy for 10 dollars for one taco but so worth it nice size tacos like two in one then it comes with those explosive sauce on the side! Yes def will recommend to friends and family for sure! 🥰❤️❤️❤️

Our office ordered $100.00 worth of food.. I ordered the chicken bowl, but it didn't come with sour cream or my guac, and it was very dry as a chip..... This is the second time I have ordered this. Never again

We came here after I found it online and read the reviews. Most all of them suggested the Turtle. It did not disappoint! We had the turtle with chicken, Gomez style. It was delicious! It has this crispy cheese crusted exterior and really good Baja sauce. I definitely recommend coming here and getting the turtle and any style you get I’m sure will be good. The guy that waited on us Saturday afternoon was super friendly too! We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Cincinnati.

Some of the best tacos I have had along with very reasonable pricing. Stopped here on a whim with a group of 8 and we were able to grab a table and have a delicious dinner for under $20! Plus they have some good beers on tap too! Unfortunately the tacos were so good I forgot to take pictures of the food, but still I highly recommend checking this place out!

Delicious - first time visit. Our server was Gina excellent server and pleasant, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our meals were superb. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. Outside seating as well as indoor. They offer a full bar. Pastas were so fresh. We will definitely be back. We parked across the street at the public parking area - easy access and $8 for the evening.

I have visited Pepp and Dolores a couple of times, and each experience has been exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and makes great recommendations if you are uncertain about what to try. The pasta is fresh, and the flavors really stand out. It is one of my favorite spots in downtown Cincinnati for authentic Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it.

We had a great experience here! The food was delicious. It was setup such that you order all of your courses at the beginning, and then the team staggers the arrival of the food at a pace such that you're not waiting long between courses, but also not rushed. It was hard to narrow down exactly what we wanted because the menu looked so good. The house made ricotta bread was some of the best bread I've ever had. They don't have a dessert menu, so go in knowing that. They leave you with like an Italian cookie when they bring the bill. It was good! Overall, would highly recommend! The service and waiting staff was friendly and professional too.

We had a really nice late lunch here. We were running late but they still accomodated us. Our server was extremely kind and made lots of great food recommendations. We loved everything we ordered, especially the pesto and meatball pasta. The seafood on the ravioli was a little too pungent for me, not as light fresh tasting as I hoped. Wine list was pretty easy to navigate and I was pleasantly surprised by some awesome glass pour options that weren't just lame/cheap house wines. We sat upstairs in the veranda near a window, which we great on a sunny afternoon. (I have sat in the basement before but didn't love it.) Still surprised and disappointed by thunderdome restaurants not offering desserts, even at Pepp. But the limocello service almost made up for it.

This place will always be a hit. Upstairs is a little more loud and casual with a beautiful patio while downstairs offers a moody date night scene. The spicy vodka will always be a hit and the house made ricotta is dreamy. You really can't go wrong with anything on this menu!

A bit of a step back in time. We ordered a draft Narragansett Beer which is a little different for this part of the country. Their Greek salad was chocked full of cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, onions, pepperocini, feta, and mixed lettuce. It was fresh and tasty. I got a 4 way bean chili. Hubby got a burger with barbecue. We both liked what we got. Cheese curds were as good as any we have had in Wisconsin.

Our server Jess was great if that was really her name 😉 LOL, friendly funny with a smile, she gave us the daily specials rundown, got our drink order so we could look over the menu. After bringing our drinks we were ready to order to which one of our party asked if meat comes with the hamburger which she took that comment and ran with it and he wouldn't live that down the reat of the meal along with the red mustard ROFL! She made our night out a dinner with a show. Our food came out fresh and hot, I had planned to eat half then and finish the other half later but is was so good I ate it all and was too full for dessert but got the doughnut pudding to go to have later, it smells delicious. Great experience & great food.

We eat out at least once per week and Bard's is Our new favorite restaurant. We've eaten there about 6 times, recently. It has the look of a dive restaurant, very casual, we love that. What we really love is the food. People rave about burgers from other restaurants, so I try them and I'm usually not at all impressed, Bard's is different though. Every burger we've tried has been outstanding, never had better and they have a lot from which to choose. Last time, I got the Mushlove and it was great. We also got side salads for apps and were blown away by how good they were. The salads were fresh made to order. They had rye croutons on them, I'm guessing they were from the bakery next door, oh so good. Their specials are great too. I tried the smoked wings and they were great, gumbo was good too. Chili is better than Skyline. I could go on, but you get the picture. Parking is across the street in a public lot where we've always found a space.

The menu features an array of noodle, dumpling, and rice dishes alongside traditional Mexican fare. The colorful eatery is known for its unique blend of flavors, creating a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Flavors of the food were amazing! Zucchini and cauliflower bites was good! Mex Pad Thai a little bit spicy but delicious. The Cuban avocado + tofu comes with fried plantains was extremely tasty! We tried Mofongo a little bit too smash but the garlic flavor was really good! Definitely our favorite place!

We tried Lalo for dinner on a Saturday and it was really good. I would absolutely recommend the birria egg rolls, Hawaiian chicken bowl, and the tres leche cake. The tres leche is probably the best tres leche I’ve had at a restaurant. The food overall was amazing. The service was attentive and the environment was very welcoming.

It was relatively quiet on a Tuesday evening however, the atmosphere was very clean and festive to the restaurants fusion theme. The birria egg rolls were so tasty to be able to dip into the beef sauce and lastly, the drunken burrito was perfect and absolute fusion of both Asian and Mexican flavors. I would recommend having the guacamole as that added an additional freshness to the already tasteful burrito. The service was outstanding as the waitresses successfully were able to check up on our order and make sure we have everything we need would highly recommend this restaurant!

Breakfast restaurant
Pleasant Ridge Chili Restaurant is a beloved local spot in Cincinnati that has been serving classic American comfort food and famous chili cheese fries for over 50 years. This old-timey diner offers all-day breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, and iconic house specialties like the gravy-smothered cheese fries. The menu features a variety of options to satisfy different cravings, including gyro wraps. While the area may seem run-down, the restaurant provides ample parking lot lighting for safety.
I have been in the Greater Cincinnati area for seven months this week and I normally try to go somewhere I haven't been to each week. Today, this spot was on the list as it's currently Cincinnati Chili Week, which I had been looking forward to since I first found out I was moving here. My friend LOVES this place and I can see why. We both ordered the same thing, two coneys and the gravy fries. Now, personally, I was on the fence because I had never had gravy fries, let alone heard of them but when I ate them, I wish I could have ordered the larger size because it was simply amazing! They tasted like regular style mashed potatoes and gravy and it also gave me a reminder of what we call back home in Iowa, a Magic Mountain. It was indeed a little bit of a wait but not too long as we went just after peak dinner times (8pm) and our waitress was phenomenal. Good luck trying to get the recipe of the gravy though. I was shot down immediately trying to get it. It's a secret recipe so forewarning if you try to ask about it. Great food and service, though. I will be back often!

Went to 4 Cincinnati chili places yesterday. Not the chains we’ve had those. Between Skyline and Gold Star, Gold Star is our favorite. However, Pleasant Ridge Chili Restaurant was the absolute best Cincinnati Chili we have had so far hands down! Can’t wait for an opportunity to go back again!

Pleasant Ridge Chili: Where Miracles (and Melted Cheese) Happen 🧀✨ I don’t know what kind of secret magic they sprinkle over those cheese coneys at Pleasant Ridge Chili, but I swear they might’ve discovered world peace in shredded cheddar form. Perfectly toasted bun, snappy hot dog, chili that tastes like Cincinnati history itself—and a mountain of cheese that could make a vegetarian reconsider their life choices. But here’s the real headline: my daughter—yes, the pickiest eater on Earth—was actually satisfied.

Libby's Southern Comfort is a cozy former grocery store turned restaurant in Covington, offering a blend of Midwest and Southern cuisines. The menu features classic comfort dishes like mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, po' boys, and crowd-pleasing fried chicken. In addition to these staples, the restaurant also incorporates influences from Cincinnati and northern Kentucky with unique offerings such as goetta hush puppies and pimento cheese fritters.
First time trying Libby’s and the food did not disappoint. The fried chicken sandwich was massive and the batter was light and crispy. I could eat this sandwich weekly. The fries were 10/10 and the flavor on the oyster po boy was great; super soft bread. Service was attentive and drinks were good. The dessert menu looked incredible. I was really hoping the crème pies were available, sadly sold out! We snagged a bread pudding to go and it barely made it home! We will definitely be throwing Libby’s into our dinner rotation.
Jackie F — Google review
The food was good. (The wife wanted more southern choices). The portobello sandwich was messy but tasty. You’ll just need to ask for extra napkins. The hot honey chicken sandwich was tasty as well, would have preferred it to be a little more messy though. The seasons fries were crispy and had great flavor. We liked the atmosphere, it was open with a rustic decor. We were there during great weather so it was open air which made it even more pleasant. Service was very good. Definitely recommend.
D P — Google review
Libby’s Southern Comfort is incredible! My best friend and I stopped here for lunch during our girls trip, and I’m still thinking about it. The hot honey chicken sandwich was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mac n cheese? Unreal. Creamy, rich, and totally unforgettable. The restaurant has a modern, welcoming vibe, and our server was amazing—so friendly and full of great energy. Even though I live four hours away, I’ve already told everyone I know about this place. I’m 100% coming back with my husband. Libby’s is a must-visit!
Gena H — Google review
Stopped in at Libby’s at 2:45 today (Saturday) for a late lunch. The restaurant was empty other than one table of four. We made it halfway across the restaurant and were asked to wait a moment while the bartender/hostess cleaned a table. She didn’t bother to wipe down the booth seat which was covered in sesame seeds and other debris. Once seated, our server quickly came by to get our drink order. The entire visit, the bartender/hostess and two servers were either on their phones, sitting with the other occupied table and talking loudly, or visibly eating food in the kitchen. Our server was the only floor staff who kept herself busy refilling straws, cleaning, refilling sugars, etc. I ordered the shrimp roll and Southern Mac and cheese with a sweet tea. Hubby ordered the two piece chicken with Mac and cheese, fries, and sweet tea. The shrimp roll description gave the impression of big flavors. The only real flavor came from the Grippos bbq chips. There was an excellent quantity of shrimp, but even with the old bay/mayo seasoning it was bland. I was excited for the Southern Mac and cheese - but was disappointed in the flavor as well. No cheesy flavor, no southern kick at the end, not even a bread crumb. It was almost like plain Mac noodles with cheddar melted on top. Hubby’s fried chicken was better. Good crunch on the chicken skin, nice brine albeit a little salty. The meat was super juicy. His Mac and cheese was also mediocre. The fries were tasty, but not house made. The biscuit was “fine”. The sweet tea was perfect. I’ve never in my life had bland Southern food until today. My husband’s granny from Alabama would not approve.
Jen M — Google review
Libby’s was fun to visit with friends for dinner, its location is quaint and is a bit small, but there is ample outdoor seating if you don’t mind the heat. High level, service was great & food was good, but there was nothing memorable enough on the menu to make me desire to return. The fried green tomato batter was thin which caused it to flake off when I cut into it. Wouldn’t order again. The avocado sandwich was good. I had to cut the sandwich myself upon arrival. The fries were tasty too. Service was great, they executed all of our dietary modifications excellently. One callout out- the lack of other tables/customers had the waitress rushing our meal unintentionally.

Visited on a Saturday around dinner time. Busy but not slammed. No wait for a 2 top table. Server was great! Checked back often but was not pushy or made us feel rushed at all. Drinks: Cherrwine Bourbon Slush FTW! This is a great cocktail. Appetizer: Goetta Hush Puppies - The reason we came. Weird texture; I'm sure from the combo. Not off putting, just different from expectations. I was expecting typical, light brown southern hush puppies with a little goetta. They were dark, almost burnt and tasted that way. No goetta flavor, no light batter... Very disappointing. 1/10. The remoulade sauce was great but couldn't save them. Food: Hot Honey chicken sandwich was great! Very crispy and juicy...not an easy combo. Hot Honey sauce was perfect..slight heat, sweet and not too much of it to be over powering! Bun was perfectly toasted! 10/10 would order again. Cole Slaw (on the side). Not sure if it was homemade or food service, but great flavor, not overly dry or moist. Nearly a perfect slaw. Picked onions were STRONG! (I'm not a fan of picked onions in general so....) Garlic Mashed Potatoes: Where's the garlic? Very little flavor of any kind in this scoop of mashed potatoes. Ordinary and plain. Nothing wrong but nothing to write home about. 3/10 Willy Burger. Great flavor, albeit very dry. Smoky undertones. Hate to ruin the flavor with a condiment, but was necessary due to dryness. 6/10 = Would be higher but can you say DRY! Southern Mac n Cheese. Better than the mashed potatoes. Good flavor, gooey cheese. 8/10 Overall, 4 cocktails ($40 - not bad at all!) , 2 sandwiches and an appetizer ($57).... Total: $97 pre tip. (don't forget the 3% credit card fee! I mean, come on! Yes it is clearly on the menu but who honestly goes out with that much cash for a meal these days!?) So $100 and $10 to park in the lot across the street. Wasn't busy and no close on street or free parking (maybe there is but not familiar enough with the area to know). $130 meal that wasn't impressive or anything special. YMMV.

We did the duck and Burgundy wine dinner and it was delicious! The food, ambiance, and service was great! We also did the wine pairing and found each of the four wines to be unique and paired well with each food item. I find myself thinking about some of the food still - amazing!

My wife and I recently moved to Northern Kentucky and were absolutely thrilled to discover The Baker's Table in Newport, Kentucky! From the moment we walked in, Rachel, Jake, and the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. It's fantastic to find such a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant in our new area. We opted for the Chef's Tasting Menu with the Non-Alcoholic Drink pairing, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Each dish was a unique work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. One of the mocktails, featuring Carrot and Chrysanthemum, was so refreshing and delicious we joked about wanting a whole pitcher to enjoy on our deck at home! While every course was outstanding, the lamb ragu was a definite highlight. The flavors and textures were phenomenal, and the inclusion of what they called "lamb bacon" was truly one of the most delicious things I've tasted in a long time! What we also appreciated was that despite the high quality of the dining experience, the atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. Even the background music had songs that made us smile and added an easy-going vibe. The intimate setting made us feel connected rather than lost in a large, bustling space. The staff was attentive and genuinely responsive to our needs. It's clear that The Baker's Table is a business that prioritizes sustainable practices and truly cares about the quality of their ingredients and the people they serve. We loved hearing the stories behind the beverages and the inspiration for each dish, and the fact that the menu changes monthly based on seasonal availability is something we greatly appreciate. Our first experience at The Baker's Table was truly memorable, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly, highly recommended!

Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh flavors and thoughtful combinations. Our guests were raving about every course, and I honestly don’t think there was a bite left on anyone’s plate! What made the night even more memorable was the impeccable service. The team at The Baker's Table went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. From assisting with our unique requests to making sure everyone was taken care of without skipping a beat, we were truly impressed. They made us feel like family, ensuring that our rehearsal dinner was seamless and stress-free. We were able to fully relax and enjoy the evening because we knew we were in the best hands possible. Didn't pat for it, so I can not speak on the price, but everything off the menu was good. Drinks were good, too. Easy and quick service. The salmon and beet seems like a weird combination but was surprisingly good. The gnocchi has the best texture. Some of the best gnocchi I've had**. Very light. Steak was good, although I have had better. [Medium Rare] The pumpkin cheesecake was also delicious. Good balance of flavor and not being heavy consideriflng what it is. Our server Jasmine, bartender Jake, and sommelier Ryan, as well as the rest of the staff, worked seamlessly together to provide a really great experience. The owner Dave came out to introduce himself- it’s always a good sign when the owner gets his hands dirty (metaphorically) and works with the staff to do what needs to be done. Absolutely cannot wait to come back and try a whole new round of dishes next season!

Seafood restaurant
Alabama Fishbar, located in downtown Over-the-Rhine, is a popular and cheerful eatery known for its no-frills fish dinners. The menu is short but sweet, offering three types of perfectly fried fish - whiting, perch, and cod. Each dinner comes with a side of fries, bread, and hot peppers & onions. Despite the long lines extending out the door most days, the efficient and friendly staff ensures quick service.
Strictly take out, and worth evewp sluces of every penny. We shared the perch dinner (7 pieces, fries, a sautéed onion and jalapeño side, two pieces of bread) THE fish was lightly breaded and done to perfection.

These people are rude as hell. I door dash a lot and mostly for people at work. We ALWAYS order and PAY for extra tartar sauce. WE NEVER GET IT. Today I ordered a couple of meals and ordered 8 extra tarter sauces. I then called the store to let them know to make sure it’s in my bags. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and very short. I asked her if she could make sure I get what I paid for. She told me she couldn’t because she’s not over that area. The place isn’t that big. She could’ve easily passed the message along. The phone is literally right there. I’m sure she looked at the tartar sauce while on the phone. Instead of saying SORRY ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES, ILL LET THEM KNOW TO NOT FORGET YOUR SAUCES, she decided to tell me a lie “if it’s on the ticket, it’s in the bag” and then “have a nice day” click, hung up. Last time I’ll spend my money here. Got my food just now and guess what…..NO TARTER SAUCE!!! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!

Never will I purchase from here again! The food was utterly disgusting!! My mom Even said it was not so hot! Didn’t want to refund money. Wanted to remake it was freshly made remaking wasn't going to help the taste. The quality and taste was horrible. The Old Alabama fish bar is gone. Wasted 13.99 don’t let the pictures fool you. The size of the perch was no bigger than my index finger. If it was even fish. It was so nasty. This was nothing like we ever tasted. The side peppers and onions were even nasty.! What happened to asking if you want condiments added they went to packets. One thing for certain one thing for sure I won’t be returning in the garbage it went!!!!!! Wouldn’t feed this to anyone or a dog!! Oh it made me sick and nauseous!! I recommend not eating here!!!

Food: My friend and I got the $13 dinner. It comes with 5 pieces of chicken, fries and an onion sauce. It's a good deal if you don't eat too much. Packaging: they use paper. It's great for the environment but if you are coming from afar, the paper will be torn before you get home. Atmosphere: the thing that keep coming up is the strong smell. It's normal for the place to smell but they might need to find a way for the air to circulate better

Hope someone from this establishment reads this, just go back to the same batter, the fish is definitely different from years ago. Something was changed, I don't know what but its definitely different, go back to the old recipe please! I know since covid some things had to change, but the way its cook now is way off.

Food is okay. The staff is friendly. Also very fast. The only thing is i don’t feel very comfortable walking around that neighborhood
Joanna C — Google review
They need some cornmeal battered fish Cincinnati is over done on beer batter battered nothing Southern about Mr. Alabama, might be owner hometown because this is not Southern fried fish here...it's like an upgrade of Long John Silvers with a Louisana flair of onions peppers mix on the side. The whiting always has bones in it. No where to park and yes the food was fair definitely consumable a little greasy on that battered batter. Fish was completely cooked.
Iam H — Google review
Hands down the best fried fish I've ever had, especially the cod! The tartar sauce & peppers/onions really pull it all together. I go every time I'm in Cincinnati!

Taqueria San Marcos is a nostalgic 50s-style diner in Norwood, Cincinnati that offers authentic Guatemalan tacos. The unassuming spot is a well-kept secret, known for its deliciously simple tacos served on small, warmed corn tortillas with various filling options. The friendly service and expansive menu make it a hidden gem in the area.
If you ever get the chance to try this little place, DEFINITELY DO IT! It’s very quaint and you’ll miss it if you don’t know it’s there. Such GOOD food and totally worth the drive. More authentic than anything around here and the wait staff was pleasant, very friendly and accommodating. Will certainly be making more trips to Cincinnati for this delightful taqueria!

Update 2/6/25: I'm sad to write this but they went from my favorite taco spot to the worst I've had. Multiple times now I've paid $14 for 4 tacos and gotten small, dry, bland tacos with almost no meat or cilantro and onion. They used to have 5x this much meat. I'm adding pictures from 2 seperate recent visits. They said they got a new cook so maybe I'll give them another shot in 6 months or so but who thought this was ok? Original: Some of the best street tacos I've ever had. My buddy got the taco Loco and it was huge. Will definitely be back.

I was hoping for better. As a Latin food LOVER, I feel just a little disappointed for the price. Definitely good, but I’ve just had so much better many times. I got a taco and a burrito and it was kind of dry. Fillings/toppings were also not very filled for the about of tortillas for each. The people I came with felt similarly.
J N — Google review
The tacos were okay. The flavor was good but they were somewhat dry.

This nice little mom and pop taco spot was just what I needed for Taco Tuesday! They had the BEST marinated, authentic, chicken, street tacos.. our waitress was the owner of this location and she took care of everyone inside the restaurant and did a spectacular job! The food is made to order so you'll likely have to wait, but it is well worth it. Had fun exploring this end of the city and can't wait to come back.

Love this little Restaurant. The server was friendly and quick to serve us. Our food arrived hot and quickly. Restaurant was very clean and I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. I ordered the mushroom quesadilla rice and guacamole salad can't remember what the rest of the family ordered but they all said their food was hot and tasted really good.

The restaurant boasts a large selection of wines and clever cocktails to accompany the meals. Guests can enjoy the covered patio which is perfect for both steak enthusiasts and wine lovers.
We had a birthday party and the service and cuisine were of the highest order. Every detail of our evening was superb thanks to the thoughtful staff. Our compliments to the chef for creating each incredible dish they served us including Crab cakes, steak, sea bass, shrimp and tuna.
Jeff S — Google review
Went here because it has a reputation of great steaks. The atmosphere was superb. Live piano music. The service was by far the best thing here. The dinner rolls were quite addictive. We ordered the sea bass entre and the prime rib special. The sea bass was huge and tasty. The prime rib was also generous in size. Cooked as requested, but tasted more like a steak than prime rib. The desserts were ok...not the reason for coming All in all, glad we did it once. It was a bit of. Drive to get here so probably won't do it again given the distance and cost.

Great food! We ordered the tomato bruschetta as a starter and it was excellent! I personally ordered the pork chop special and I must say I believe it was the best pork chop I have ever had! It was tender, moist, and flavorful! All of our meals were outstanding!

We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House, and the entire experience was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Elise, made the evening truly exceptional—she was informative, professional, and genuinely kind. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Cincinnati.

This place is unbelievable, we celebrated our anniversary dinner at the Ivory House. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. We went for the Seafood and the dishes were delicious even though they specialty is Steaks. The young man (Rain) playing the piano was so talented which made our evening even more special.

Had the ultimate surf and turf (or something like that) 35 oz tomahawk, 2 lobster tails, 4 shrimp and 4 scallops. Also comes with two sides. It's ALOT of food and everything was wonderful. Service was excellent - very attentive. Overall, very highly recommended. For the money, it was actually a good deal.
Erik R — Google review
We celebrated our anniversary at Ivory House last week, eager to try some unique menu items. The appetizers were a mix—beet-soaked deviled eggs missed the mark with unexpected saltiness, but the French-style mussels and lamb lollipops were excellent. We rarely find mussels done this well in Cincinnati. For entrees, I ordered the NY steak with carrots and truffle mushroom risotto, a perfect 11/10. My husband’s pork chop was nearly as good, though the creamed corn was underwhelming; however, the scalloped potatoes were amazing. One drawback was being seated beside a family with young kids, which dampened the atmosphere a bit on our kid-free evening. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back!

I loved this diner for the the breakfast. Lots to choose from the menu. Recommended for kids as well. The plates are huge, we could have shared a meal if we weren't that hungry. From the greater to the staff, everyone was friendly. A must go to if your visiting.

The food and service was amazing! There was a small wait on Sunday morning but nothing outrageous. The menu has something for everyone. The food was cooked to perfection and every one in our group ate every bit of food we had. Our server was amazing! She was super attentive and took great care of us. The only knock was that it was super loud in the restaurant. You could barely understand what someone across the table from you was saying. Kudos to the staff for being able to hear every order with it being that loud!

Unreal Bang for Buck! The food was great. Highly recommend adding the Goetta to your meal. I had never heard of it, but it’s a fun local flair. Definitely want to try the Goetta Benedict in the future. Pancakes were great, love that the recipe has been around for almost a century, along with the syrup. Potatoes were perfect too! The vibe is super fun for kids as well. A fun hint of nostalgia, plus they get to take home a rubber duck.

We ate outside and had a fantastic view of the river and the Cincinnati skyline. The food was the best Mexican food that I've ever had which says a lot . The portions are HUGE and one dish could easily feed two people. But watch out for the giant margaritas. It was almost as big as my head and it too could be shared among 2+ people. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Do not come here. Terrible food and service. I have food poisoning right now and I’ve been puking all night. I tried to force myself to eat the jalapeño poppers but I couldn’t. They were incredibly undercooked and plated like crap. I just didn’t want to waste my money. Took 20 mins to just get a water. No refills. I love this place for the view and a good marg but service was terrible food was even worse. Also 9 dollars for the smallest thing of mediocre guac in the world. Only good service we received was a younger red head or strawberry blonde manager I think. I just didn’t get his name. But very nice and helpful.

Really beautiful restaurant! We went during a busy time and wanted to sit outside so we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but the view was worth it. Nestled in Northern Kentucky, the Greyhound Tavern is a charming colonial-style restaurant that has been delighting locals with its comforting American cuisine since the 1920s. With its rustic decor featuring wood paneling and cozy fireplaces, this family-friendly eatery creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for gatherings. The menu boasts a variety of hearty dishes, but it’s particularly famous for its secret-recipe fried chicken, which takes center stage during family-style dinners on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Had Valentine Day dinner here and it was wonderful. Made reservation and arrived early and was seated close to our reservation time which was 830pm. Once we was seated our server Edward came our and took our drink order. We browse the menu which was the Valentine Day menu and we both order steak. I ordered the 14 oz New York strip and my wife ordered the barrel cut filet with a salad and I order the soup which was a Cajun shrimp corn chowder. The steak had great flavor and the herb butter was wonderful on top of it. The scallops potatoes was cheesy and good. We also ordered two cakes a chocolate and vanilla with strawberry and a strawberry syrup. Overall it was a good experience and the service was wonderful.

Went for Sunday Brunch. Food was good, though a bit lacking in variety. Bacon was severely overcooked, but the chicken was the star! Service was great. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you go during peak hours.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant during Burger Week. The onion rings were large and incredibly crispy, making it easy to share half an order with someone else. The burgers were perfectly cooked and tender, with a magical sauce that elevated the taste. The fries were also very good. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience and would recommend!

Honestly a 10/10 chicken place. Has an elegant rich atmosphere but respectable prices. Recently added to the B line, their bourbon selection is far above average. Would absolutely do this again.

The service was flawless. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.
Walter B — Google review
Fried chicken was 1/2 its previous size and dripping in grease. Hot Brown's presentation was a sloppy goey mess. It had obviously been microwaved as everything was flat and run together. It was unappealing, nearly stomach turning mess. The bread underneath was soggy, not toasted.
Amy M — Google review
We ate here for the first time on 7/16/25 due to the great reviews on this site. Hy husband got the chicken and said it was really good. I got the open face roast beef and it was good. We loved the cheese sticks too. However, the sides left a lot to be desired. We both thought the coleslaw was sour, too much vinegar and not enough sugar. The green beans had a good flavor, if they would leave out the sugar. I cook southern and never have I ever had green beans with sugar in them. I couldn’t eat them either. The mashed potatoes were not seasoned and edible but mediocre. We got the peanut butter pie and he said it was good. Great waitress and atmosphere. Should we go back, they need to add more sides to the menu.
Joyce — Google review
The first night we came, it was a wonderful evening being seated in the cozy tea room area, not crowded or cramped feeling. Soft big band jazz playing, clean, pleasant atmosphere with upscale decor with interesting rustic aspects. I had the grilled fish special which was Haddock I believe, and it was so delicious. Wonderful glass of house Cabernet. Amazing waiter, an older gentleman who was so attentive and friendly. Another night we were seated in a larger area filled with customers. It felt a bit too crowded for me, tables too close together but still a nice evening. A booth would have felt a bit more private probably. My salmon harvest salad was yummy. Everyone was happy with their selections but one person felt a little disappointed his was served with rye bread, that was not even toasted, and just looked like generic bread from the grocery.

Restaurant
Walt's Hitching Post in Fort Wright is a rustic-chic, horse racing-themed smokehouse that has been around since the 1950s. The restaurant offers classic menu items like fried chicken, country fried steak, and fried chicken livers. Known for their delicious ribs with Walt's signature secret sauce, the place also provides private party space for various events. Additionally, they offer takeout options for their entire menu from ribs to steaks to pork chops and sandwiches.
We had an excellent meal at Walt's. I had the Affirmed filet over Gouda potato pancake, spinach, and onion straws. My husband had the special which was a bone in ribeye with Bleu cheese and blackened scallops. Our salads were also fresh and delicious, BLT wedge and the Big Blue. Their salted rye bread is the bomb. The servicers were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Terri C — Google review
We live in the area and decided to come to Walt's for our first time based on local recommendations. I got the elk ribeye and my wife got a bone in beef ribeye with crab cake. For dessert we got the cheesecake and carrot cake. The food was very good. Steaks cooked well for the most part, definitely not overdone. I visit many higher end restaurants around the country while traveling for work and this was the best cheesecake I've had at any restaurant so far. Now the reason for the review, we arrived five minutes before our reservation and were not seated until ten minutes after our reservation. While waiting, many parties (two or so couples and two or 3 larger groups) large and small were coming in behind us and being immediately seated while we still waited. We were told they were late for their earlier reservations and we had to wait because they were backed up. This was confusing, because many tables were already set up and waiting, we weren't waiting on patrons to finish dining. In response to a complaint by us they comped one of our desserts, but even so, during the discussion the manager dismissively implied that's just the way it is but she'll comp a dessert for us. This was highly unusual service compared to other high end restaurants I've visited in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Chicago. Never before have I had to wait because other parties had not arrived. Food was great but I will not be coming back to Walt's.
Malachi H — Google review
Great restaurant with really good food (not amazing). The bison was really good and the chicken was nothing special. It was fine though. The halit special is good if you like fish. The mac n cheese wasn't great. The service was good and it was a nice atmosphere that wasn't too tight or crammed. The free bread is amazing.
Hunter R — Google review
Old school type of restaurant, reminds me of some place. My parents would have visited. The menu offered a variety of choices, I found a family favorite hot slaw, identical to how I grew up. I had the steak and mushrooms very flavorful. Would order it again. The service was prompt and fast.
Jim B — Google review
The best thing i got was the bread 10/10 i had no idea was completely surprised how good it is, it has a salty crispy crunchy outside and a warm solf inside no butter needed i would eat a whole loaf, the Oysters Rockefeller 7/10, the hot slaw 5/10 the taste is good but only giving 5 tiny pieces of bacon is highly disappointing. the steak 7/10 pretty good no complaints. The ribs are cooked great and have a old style bbq sauce on them, but to me it tasted like straight tomato paste 3/10
Robert W — Google review
I took my mother here for her birthday and we really enjoyed our experience. The ribs were the talk of the table, our server got us the other type they have available to see if we liked them any better, they were just not our "style" but the steak, house salad, mashed potatoes and rye bread were delicious! The beer/wine list was impressive. The wait staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy in my opinion, come as you are but shower first 😜 We had a great time at dinner and appreciate the staff for being there to help us navigate our first visit!

We just went yesterday for the first time. We were celebrating our 45th Anniversary so we wanted something extra special and it was. Our sever Nick was great and totally on top of everything. The food, well where do I begin? We started with their salted rye bread. Oh my gosh I've never had bread like that before. It was out of this world, but I ate too much. Our Onion soup was good. Hubby got the Wedge salad which was huge and really good too. My tossed salad was fine. I got the half slab of the fall of the bone ribs. They were good, not great, but I was definitely happy with them. My husband got the 18oz. Bone in Ribeye that was very good. Our sides were the cowboy baked potato and these to die for roasted brussel sprouts. Get them! We splurged and ordered and extra side of the Lobster Mac and cheese. It was worth the $25 price. We took home a piece of carrot cake since they said it was so good, which it was. My only complaint and I hate to even say this was I thought we might get a little something for our 45th Anniversary since my husband told them when making the reservation, but we didn't. It by no means took away from our phenomenal dinner. If you are looking for a special place to go for dinner I totally recommend Walt's Hitching Post.

With a lively atmosphere, especially during festive occasions like Cinco de Mayo, this restaurant offers a delightful menu featuring vegetarian fajitas and mushroom quesadillas that are sure to please any palate. Guests rave about the generous portions of salsa and queso served with chips, making for perfect appetizers to enjoy alongside refreshing drinks. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly ambiance complete with a fountain and multiple TVs for entertainment.
I have ordered from here multiple times on DoorDash. Finally went in to eat in person for the first time. The inside was decorated really nice! The service was pretty quick and friendly too. We order the chips and salsa & Queso on the side as well to Start off. We really enjoyed our queso dip, so I do recommend that! We also ordered the burrito el barzon- An item that we order quite frequently. Pretty much every time we order from here. It’s a huge burrito with chicken, shrimp, beef, pineapple, and a smothered in sauce. Definitely very filling and could get multiple meals out of it. I also order their salmon and shrimp, rice dish, which they offered tortillas When they brought it out. It was good, I love the sauce and will definitely order this again..

First time at this establishment. Any kind of Mexican food one could want they have. Busy at dinner time so the wait for the food to arrive was a bit long but to be expected. What was not expected was the medium Dos Equis. Glad I didn't order a large. Try the roasted corn rubbed with mayo and Parmesan for something different. I had the Quatro Esquinas and it had me saying, No Mas, no mas!
Ken G — Google review
This was my second time visiting this restaurant and this experience was significantly better than the first. The food was marginally better, but I still think you can find better Hispanic food elsewhere. The queso dip was room temperature at best. My fajitas were warm enough to eat, but still not hot. The salsa was mid. My kids ate all their food so that gets 3 stars on its own. Restaurant staff also all checked on us as they walked by our table which was nice. 5/5 for good service.
Nicholas M — Google review
Aside from the margarita, everything about our experience was terrible—poor service, a claustrophobic, maze-like layout, and the food, especially, was disappointing. What more can you say about a restaurant? I suppose the margarita wasn’t strong enough to stop me from posting this review. We arrived hungry, but we couldn’t bear that thing that they call quesadilla and burrito. What they served were inedible. I’ll be sharing before and after pictures of our plates to show just how bad it was. Honestly, I’m shocked by their high star rating—it definitely misled us this time. We won’t be fooled again and will be avoiding this place in the future.

A friend took us here for dinner. At a Mexican restaurant are the chips and salsa good? El Jinete has really good chips and salsa. The chips were warm and fresh tasting and the salsa was great as well. I had the Chile Verde Pork and my friend had the Azteca Soup and my other friend had a HUGE Plate of nachos. The soup and the nachos were good. My dish was ok, but not very flavorful. The pork was a little dry and the Verde sauce lacked great flavor or heat. Service was good. Overall, a good meal. Would come back and try something different.

Quick service but fresh food and very clean. Went on Tuesdays for taco Tuesday! They have tacos for $1.25 each on Tuesdays and you can pick from chicken steak pork or pork and pineapple. If you get everything on them it comes with cheese a cabbage blend crema pico and Cilantro. They were very delicious and filling! I ordered 2 chicken and 2 steak😋😋

After a few good Mexican meals in the last 12 months, I am starting to look for Mexican restaurants when I go to a new place. So far I have to save the good ones are hard to find. This one was highly rated and close to where I was. It was a pretty busy place with a line of 10 people at noon. Very quick ordering service and I took the combo plate with fish taco. After I picked my plate and sat in the next room, a very clean area, I realized I might order the wrong stuff because it didn't look that tasty, which was true. The fish taco and the rest of the plate were bland, I should try something else. The exotic ice creams in the freezer could be my love.

I had dinner here on a weekend, it wasn’t very busy and the service was quick. The food was okay, the vegetables tasted very fresh, most of the other ingredients were okay, however the big let down was the cheese, it tastes pretty bad, and if I do find my self here again, I will not be getting the cheese, other then that, my only other complaint about the food was that it was very rice heavy. The service was good, they were friendly and quick, so no complaints there. On my rating scale, I would give it a 4.7/10 (5.0 being average), it was okay, but not really good enough to be worth the trip again

$1.25/taco on Taco Tuesdays! Very good street tacos, they make their own tortillas. Their spicy salsa is legit spicy. Tacos were excellent, we got steak, carnival and al pastor.
Karl G — Google review
This is not even Chipotle quality. My steak burrito had 2 pieces of steak. The street tacos were dry and flavorless.

We used Tortilleria Garcia to cater our wedding and it was an absolute hit! Our guests loved the taco bar, chips and salsa/guac/queso appetizer, and the agua frescas! Teresa was so easy to work with and we had a couple meetings leading up to the big day so she knew exactly what we were expecting. I thought the cost was very reasonable too and I would cater with them again in the future.

It's a really great place. I go here for lunch break sometime so I haven't been that much but I've been oh four or five times and it's been great. Service was great. They're nice and pleasant. The food is good. I had no complaints

Legit the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! The portion sizes were generous. First time having Barria tacos and now I want more! The prices were very fair also, even during all supply chain issues. Plenty of seating and the AC works great in the back dining room.

Mexican restaurant
Drunken Tacos is a popular Mexican eatery located on the University of Cincinnati campus. It's known for its delicious tacos, quick service, and affordable prices. The cozy and inviting atmosphere makes it a favorite spot for students and locals alike. It's a great place to grab a bite before a game, but be prepared for potential crowds on game days. Customers have praised the friendly service and enjoyable dining experience, making it a must-visit destination for taco lovers in the area.
it was an amazing experience going there for my first time and it was newly renovationed looks great! def would eat there again.

Slow service but the food was delicious. To give them credit, there were only 2 people working - a server and a cook. If you have the time it's definitely worth checking out.
Nicole U — Google review
The revised menu and interiors are so much better. We tried the pork and chicken fajita tacos. They were all really good. Surprisingly the cauliflower taco and crispy potato were more flavorful than the chicken fajita tacos. Will be back to try the other menu items.
Devyani S — Google review
Under new management, the place isn't what it was. Margaritas are smaller, and the pitchers have significantly decreased. The food is more expensive for the same quality. There aren't waiters anymore. You order at the front instead of sitting down at a table. It feels like it's lost a bit of its charm that it once had.
Nate M — Google review
The young lady that took my order was really sweet and also was knowledgeable with the menu and drinks and also the cook was really nice. The atmosphere was very calm. I went around mid day and this might’ve been last week.
Chrissie E — Google review
Was skeptical when entering as the building is old and didn't seem to be the cleanest. However, I had the best taco I think I've ever had. Must try the Buffalo chicken tacos. Amazing! Our daughter loves their queso as well. UPDATE: Have been 4 times now, and it has been constantly tasty every single time!

- Chicken Fajita = 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 This is one of the most unassuming places I've been to for food, and I'm so glad for that. The place itself was a bit droll, but I went there around 2300 - despite that, the atmosphere was very chill and comfortable enough. The chicken fajita I ordered went way beyond my expectations! The dishes came out steaming hot, the portion sizes were very generous, and the food itself was absolutely DELICIOUS without feeling too heavy on the palate. Probably one of the best fajitas I've tasted in a very long time, and I would love to return to try more of their delicious choices.

So sad to see this place changed from what it used to be. The old queso was the best you could get anywhere & brought out in a hot skillet. It is now served medium warm in a plastic cup. They’ve gotten rid of their pollo tacos and buffalo chicken tacos and also don’t have frozen margaritas. I gave it a 2 star because the tacos we ate (they weren’t the ones we ordered, they messed up the tables) were okay. They also don’t have servers really- you go up and order yourself. Disappointing to see an unnecessary rebrand for a once great place
