Hotel
The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo is a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Cairo, offering sophisticated rooms and suites with exclusive access to the Club Lounge. The hotel features four restaurants, three bars, two lounges, and a spa. Guests can enjoy continuous culinary and beverage offerings throughout the day as well as exclusive check-in/check-out services.
What makes Ritz Carltons across the world so special apart from the iconic buildings and location is the service by the staff and this Nile Ritz Carlton is no different! We had some booking issue at the time of check-in and Nadeem not only helped us with it but also offered us an upgrade and a late check-out! Then comes the best part - it was our son's 4th birthday and Nardine at the reception took all his details and she decorated the room with his favourite cartoon character. He absolutely loved it!!! Even with Vivo - their restaurant being fully booked - Nardine had a word with Zeinaab at the restaurant they both made sure that not only do we get the booking but also the best possible table. Zeinaab and Alfi Ahmed decorated the table and the live singer sang for our son. It was the happiest moment of our lives! Loved the restaurant, the view and the food! Would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to everyone!

The summary: - Very nice place... - One of the best locations in Cairo. - Next comments for management to take care: - ● Building a little bit old (Don'tmean Classic) need some renovation. ● Service need extra monitoring (repeatedlyask for tips in several places insidethe hotel). ● Food need more care (tast) also regarding hot drinks coming a little bit not hot.
Ahmed E — Google review
The worst hotel in Cairo The procedures at the csr entrance are totally disorganised and the staff at the gates are extremely rude. Dropping the car at the valet is chaotic. The valet area looks like a storage space for the hotel’s junk and the stencg down there is unbearable. No one took the luggage from the valet to reception. No one accompanied me to my room. Security at the gates is not present at the back entrance of the Cairo Hall, and there is no cooperation at all. Everyone expects tips and handouts before doing anything for you. The hall’s air-conditioning drips water from overhead. The hall mirrors are filthy. The person managing the AC system is unprofessional. Event hall internet is weak. It’s the first time I see a hall full of mosquitoes! There is no signal in the elevator. Regarding the rooms: The AC is broken. I requested maintenance three times, and it kept breaking down. I requested to change the room, but there was no response and no change. For the hot water, you have to wait a long time—long enough to have a cup of tea before you can use it. Room soundproofing is terrible. You hear everything—the street, the weddings on the ground floor, room doors opening and closing. There is no peace at all. The TV has intermittent signal—you can sleep and wake up to find it working and stopping at random. The only good thing in the hotel is the housekeeping team— They are excellent, tidy everything with great skill and exceptional cleanliness. Even the closed terrace is cleaned. Everything you need, you’ll find in the room. Entering the room after they clean it gives you a sense of comfort thanks to how clean it is. The breakfast is great and staff work at the restaurant professional and friendly. This is the only good thing I can say. Finally I don't recommend this hotel
Ebrahim E — Google review
Our room smelled HEAVILY of smoke. There is no way to air anything out. I complained to the front desk and they sent someone to spray air freshener to cover it, which did nothing. For a non-smoking room it was gross and now we smell. The decor is older. Also if you are not on the nile side bright lights are pointed to your window at night. The curtains covered most of that, but it was somewhat annoying. We had a suite, and it was disappointing for this brand. The restaurant was very nice, food was good, but you can stay elsewhere and just eat here. Front desk was not very accommodating. We arrived in the evening yet still had to wait for our smokers den to be “ready.” We were very tired or we would have switched hotels then. I just hope I can get the smell out of my belongings. The rest of the property outside our room is lovely, the restaurants have good food and the afternoon tea was awesome. Service in the lounge is very nice, the staff there is very accommodating.

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Nile was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles. The service was excellent, the staff incredibly attentive, and everything was spotless — the cleanliness and hygiene were simply perfect. A heartfelt thank you to Ahmed Rabie at the reception for his professionalism, courtesy, and kindness. He truly made our check-in and check-out experiences smooth and exceptional. And a very special mention to Youssri, the restaurant waiter — a man of rare honesty and integrity. His sincerity and decency are qualities you hardly find these days. We were genuinely touched by his attitude and will always remember it. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, warmth, and genuine human values.
Selma M — Google review
The service was second to none, the staff are available and ready to help with any and all requests. The hotel is lovely, with wonderful views of the Nile in front of the property. The floor to ceiling window in our room was perfect to enjoy the Nile River. The dining was convenient and very good. Breakfast buffet was the exceptional. The property was spotless and secure.
Valerie P — Google review
At reception, Mazen was incredibly helpful and patient — he handled everything with genuine professionalism and kindness, ensuring that the check-in process was smooth and pleasant. His calm and accommodating attitude truly set the tone for my stay. I attended a wedding and the waiter Aly Negm also stood out for his excellent service. He was attentive, swift, and focused, always anticipating what was needed without ever being intrusive. His attention to detail and warm manner made the experience for the guests exceptional.
Sandra A — Google review
OMG :-((((( The wedding! The noise! The lights! The noise! And directly under my window, on hotel grounds, while I tried to sleep. When did it finally stop? 2am? 4am? Earplugs were useless against it. What do I go to a hotel for except to get a good night's sleep? Total failure. Nice comfy room. Location directly adjacent to the museum. But zero stars! When I complained in the morning I was told that I should have enjoyed it - big weddings are part of Egyptian culture. Got a late check out so I could get some sleep. Would have been nice to be directed to a Nile view room from the outset which may have been a lot quieter. Only guests at the wedding should have been booked into this room. Terrible Wifi. Enjoyed having High Tea in the lobby. But had to chase down staff repeatedly for service.

The Grill is an upscale French restaurant located in a chic hotel with stunning views of the Nile River. The restaurant offers a unique twist on classic French cuisine, featuring a 6-course dinner with heavenly dishes like oven-baked beef wellington and roasted rabbit loin glazed with pearl onion and pumpkin puree. Diners from around the world are drawn to this establishment for its scrumptious steak options, including Australian Wagyu beef, Chateaubriand, and Cote de boeuf.
Just had dinner with my mum! Must say totally totality! Amazing service food and view and food! Staff all 3 were amazing individuals! Forgot their names sorry 😟. But all 3 men were equally amazing polite and respectful

I had a wonderful experience at the Grill Restaurant. The food was excellent and full of flavor, and the view of the Nile made the atmosphere truly special. We celebrated my wife’s birthday there, and I had asked for a cake in advance — they delivered it beautifully and made the celebration unforgettable. A special thanks to Mr. Walid for his warm hospitality and outstanding service. It is a bit on the pricey side (around 4000 LE per person), but for the quality, service, and overall experience, it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommende

Absolutely loved the experience! The food was full of flavor and beautifully presented — you can really tell they care about quality and taste. The service was just as impressive — welcoming, efficient, and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Walid, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. His friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out. Highly recommend this place and definitely coming back!

Italian restaurant

Restaurant
Nestled just off 26th July Street, O's Pasta is a charming Italian eatery that embodies the essence of home-cooked meals. This cozy spot may be easy to overlook, but it’s worth seeking out for its impressive selection of around 20 pasta dishes. From Southeast Asian-inspired flavors to delightful Red Sea seafood options, every dish is crafted with fresh, homemade pasta and sauces prepared right before your eyes.
My go-to place for a nice, cozy hangout with friends. Prices are reasonable considering there’s no service added. Would highly recommend the Scampioni & White Summer Garden pasta!
Rawan A — Google review
This is my first time going there, I’ve always heard about O’s pasta and thought it was overrated but when I tried it I felt like it was ok, it is a bit overhyped in my opinion. It tasted okay but something about it just wasn’t right to me. I couldn’t really put my finger on it but it’s something with the essence of the pasta that I did not like, however, I’m assuming it was a bit oily for my liking. We ordered Sun-kissed Cream Pasta and Pasta Limone, both with chicken. Both had the same taste, they were both average to me honestly and I feel like I could have better pasta somewhere else. On the other hand, my friend really loved it and she has been there multiple times already. I’ve always heard mixed reviews about the place, so it pretty much depends on your taste in food. It’s one of those places that you have to try and make up your own mind about it. I’d love to note that, the staff were super nice and polite! They were super nice and had this welcoming energy with their smiles!
Aya M — Google review
The place is so cozy and small, even though it would be considered a con for some people but it feels like home there. Food is always served hot and nicely made! I love their rosemary pasta and Alfredo pasta so much The waiters and chefs are very friendly and polite, always greeting you with a warm smile Overall a 4/5 experience :)
Haneen H — Google review
Arrived there with no reservation but luckily we managed to find a table, the waiter tried to explain to us the pastas and sauces and when we ordered scampioni he said it has no sauce, but when we got it there was sauce it was just more of a lighter sauce with no cream so maybe they need a more thorough understanding of the pastas? He didn't ask also which type of pasta would we like. we ordered scampioni pasta and mushroom white sauce pasta, the scampioni pasta was to die for. Very light and fresh, the place was buzzing with people and the atmosphere was really nice, the portions are huge. The caprese salad was VERY bland though, and we had to take the rest home, the waiter just left it on the front counter without even mentioning that this bag was ours, i stood there waiting for anything until i asked and he just nodded which was very odd, other than that great food, okay service and decent experience.
Salma Y — Google review
I have been going to O’s for eight years now and the quality has remained the same… Fresh, flavorful and delicious! I make sure to stop by for a plate of my favorite, the sun kissed cream pasta, whenever I’m back in Cairo :)
Jasmine — Google review
THE BEST PASTA I HAVE TASTED EVER! i have been going to this place since 2018 it’s my one and only destination when am really craving pasta. I highly recommend the SIX and Pasta Limone when it comes to white sauce chicken options
Sara E — Google review
+ Food and atmosphere were excellent + Friendly staff + Exceptional service time (food was served fresh and hot within 10 minutes) + We ordered a Shrimp Olé, a Sun Kissed Cream Pasta ana a Shrimp La Vie En Rose, all of which were rich and unique + The parmesan cup was a nice touch Note: The mushroom soup was good but it's not a creamy mushroom soup. It's really different. Another note: Shrimp Olé is typically served with garlic slices. If you want it minced just let the waiter know.
Ahmed E — Google review
I like the taste, but I think they should put more shrimp for the order .. I ordered La Vie en Rose , if there was enough shrimp compare with the price I will give it 5/5

Nairu is a Pan-Asian restaurant located on the First Nile Boat at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence. It offers a mix of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian cuisine in an elegant setting with a sushi bar and robatayaki grill station. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Nile while savoring exotic Asian dishes. The restaurant also features an open-air pizzeria and bar serving brick-oven pizzas and cocktails.
A superb restaurant, located at the second floor in the new Four Seasons boat at the Nile.. The whole experience was awesome, starting from the superior Nile view, going through the very delicious food and topped by the excellent service! The Mongolian beef is definitely the most delicious but other dishes were so good too. We were celebrating a friend's birthday where they also prepared a special cake labeled with our friend's name and the cake was very good! I strongly recommend not to miss dining there, it is going to be an evening to remember and enjoy.
Rafik S — Google review
The restaurant has some positives but also room for improvement. While the ingredients used in the dishes are high quality, the food itself was quite average and didn’t fully meet my expectations. Indian food was much better than the Thai food. The service was good, but considering it’s managed by Four Seasons, I anticipated a higher level of quality of service. One major drawback is that the restaurant isn’t stroller-friendly, which made it challenging to navigate with our kids.
Shady A — Google review
Very underrated. The food was delicious quantities were good and the prices were suitable. Highly recommend it We ordered the bao buns & corn robatayaki for starters. And we got the Mongolian beef & coriander chicken, they both come with steamed rice but we ordered noodles & fried rice with them.
Yara E — Google review
Great food and service. Loved the beef bao buns, mongolian beef and miso eggplant. The mango pudding and red berry lava cake were a perfect ending to our meal. Thank you to the chefs and our lovely waiter Hossam.
Zeina S — Google review
The food overall was amazing (we had a lot) and the service was fantastic. I've had better sushi, but I'm not bothered by what we got; it was very fresh.
Sophia Z — Google review
Awesome vibes, view, and atmosphere , staff are friendly .. the food was very tasty, but i found the price a little bit more than usual in the Asian restaurant .

We ate at Nairu last night. We had the Beef Bao Buns and several different dumplings as well as sushi. All were excellent! Our server Hossam was exceptional! The view of the boats on the water was an added bonus.

The place is nice and calm. Food is super tasty i went for the Red chicken curry and Chicken makhni. Staff are auper professional, neat, friendly and really amazing. Parking is in front of the boat so you can park easily the only annoying part of it is el sayes and street beggars

XODÓ is a refined grill located on a docked boat, offering modern Brazilian dishes and signature cocktails. The restaurant is known for its Brazilian barbecue, where an endless parade of grilled meats are carved table-side. This style of barbecue differs from others as it consists of large chunks of slow-cooked meat presented on sword-like metal skewers. XODÓ offers a romantic ambiance with colorful South American cuisine and candlelit settings, making it an ideal spot for special occasions like Valentine's Day.
This is the best restaurant experience of my whole life. First they explained the concept and the menu, and then we got served the best parmesan crusted garlic butter bread ever. The side dishes were amazing and flavorful, and the meat was done perfectly as well. The whole experience was made wonderful and truly special by Mostafa. He is kind, thoughtful, and passionate, and takes good care of his guests. We will be back as soon as possible!
Johanna H — Google review
This is an exceptional place, went for all you can eat which gave the chance to try everything Starting from salads, great variety and all of them were exceptionally good. the raw seafood in the salad was great all the fruits were tasty. The appetizers was great the mozarella cheese and cheese balls, didnt like the fried banana at all. The beef and chicken were great, well marinated and perfectly cooked.didnt like the parmesan beef and bacon chicken. A bit pricey though paid 3000+ per person. Worth trying. Btw the garlic bread is amazing!
Ahmed T — Google review
My husband and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary here. We got the all you can eat experience and it was so filling! My favorite was the parmesean cheese fillet mignon and the rib eye. I also enjoyed the salads and the banana sugar appetizer. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The service was outstanding. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the deserts are quite awful. We tried the chocolate fudge cake and lemon tart. Both were disappointing. But it was ok anyhow because we were so full from practically eating a whole cow lol.

A Masterclass in How to Ruin Churrasco… The setting was gorgeous, the service was polished, the sides were delicious, and the wine hit all the right notes. For a moment I thought we were about to have a proper Four Seasons experience. Then the meat arrived, and the dream ended. Apparently, churrasco now means “small random grill pieces tossed on skewers.” Who knew? The rotisserie, that small detail that defines the entire concept, was “not in use because it wasn’t busy enough.” That’s like saying the oven isn’t on because there aren’t enough pizzas. Every piece of meat that reached the table was well done, no matter how many times we asked for medium rare. I paid premium prices for what felt like the world’s most exclusive minute steaks. Beautiful spot, great team, but someone needs to remind the kitchen that churrasco is cooked on the rotisserie, not just spoken of fondly.
Alex S — Google review
The steak & lamb chop was amazing. High quality of cooking and fresh meat. Should order medium rare of cooking. The virgin mojito without alcohol is amazing. The garlic bread is amazing too. Definitely will come again 😀
Mostafa S — Google review
This was definitely a disappointment. The food was overcooked and under seasoned and really overpriced. The only thing that was remotely worth eating was the bread (which was served pretty late). And the waitering staff had attitude for some reason. The best thing is the view.
Ismail F — Google review
Absolutely the best steak I have ever had. Great location with a direct nile view, presentation and service. Everything is delicious even the appetizers, salad and the steak!. The only downside that their concept is only “All you can eat” with a price per person 1500 EGP after service and tax, so very expensive, especially for people that don’t eat much, it wouldn’t be as enjoyable!. Very recommended for special occasions or business meetings!
Abdullah S — Google review
A very nice experience. The place is probably the smallest out of all Brazilian steakhouses I've been to but it is the only one in a boat on the Nile. It is very cozy with less than a dozen of tables. Cuts' selection was limited (when we went, picanha was not there. It is one of my favorites). Waiters took good care of us. Service was super friendly: Habiba and Moustapha were very nice. They were able to describe salads and hot dishes perfectly and provide recommendations when asked. The chef Karim, cooked our meat to a perfect doneness. He was also very kind to customize some cuts to our liking. Salads and hot plates were super nice except the cucumber/apple salad. Deserts were also great except the pudding inside the lemon tart was very cold, almost ice cream. Overall, we really enjoyed this meal and we would love to return.

Guests can enjoy fresh bread from the brick oven and comfortable seating, including cabana-style rooms for added privacy. The menu features delicious dishes like baba ganoush and hawawshi, all made from scratch with no processed ingredients.
The food they have is very delicious personally the grilled shrimp was the best and highly recommend. We also tried kofta and kebab and it didn’t disappoint. The deserts were disappointing the om ali was too watery and the mafroka wasn’t bad.

Aura in Cairo offers a refined dining experience with a modern and elegant atmosphere. The interior is stylish and comfortable, making it a great place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. The menu focuses on Mediterranean cuisine, with fresh ingredients and well-executed dishes that stand out in both flavor and presentation. Seafood dishes are especially recommended, and the wine selection is quite extensive, complementing the meals well. The service is attentive and professional, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, it delivers good value for a quality night out. A solid 4-star spot for a memorable meal in Cairo.

Lebanise dining at its best.....5 stars baby all day long Mr. Ramy Aly is the restaurant manager and you can trust his recommendations. Mohamed Mohsen provided excellent customer service. The restaurant sits right on the pool but not to worry because there are lifeguards on duty to provide a safe environment for the family. Thank you Seif and Islam two of the lifeguards we met on duty. 100% tasty and amazing. Follow me @NickeyDuke

Nice Lebanese restaurant with pool view. Seats are comfortable, there are cabana style rooms so you can feel more privacy even though the restaurant is outside. Baba ganoush is very good, all bread is fresh and warm, hawawshi and pita bread sandwich was so tasty. Staffs were all kind and nice.

I recently dined at Aura Restaurant in Cairo, and while the service was excellent, the food was a major disappointment. It arrived cold, lacked flavor, and didn’t justify the high prices. For a restaurant that markets itself as upscale, I expected much better. The staff was professional and attentive, but unfortunately, great service can’t make up for overpriced, poorly prepared food. Definitely not worth the money unless they make serious improvements.

We sat outside in the cabana by the pool for dinner was amazing atmosphere. The service was great and so was the food and hookah. I wish the singer didn’t sing though.

Additionally, the restaurant maintains excellent cleanliness and sanitation standards. Guests can enjoy a well-stocked and delicious salad bar included with their meal.
I had an amazing experience at the Catchy seafood restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. I would like to thank Waiter Wael Al Badri for his exceptional service; he was friendly, polite, and helped us choose the best dishes with great professionalism. I also have to praise Mr. Sayed for preparing the best shisha I've ever had – truly a master at his craft! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to everyone.

If there was anything I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We ordered butterfly shrimp and dennis fish, they were absolutely wonderful and very clean. On top of that, you're sitting in a beautiful view on the nile, the restaurant's design is very relaxing. As for the salad, it's included with the order and it's an open buffet. You can take whatever you want, the chef keeps refilling it constantly. Honestly, it's an experience that must be repeated. I highly recommend it, whether you're a couple or a family. Of course, the price isn't cheap, but the quality-to-price ratio is absolutely worth it. It was our wedding anniversary, so thank you, you made us very happy.

This seafood place is my jam when I wanna treat myself. The food is so good, and the taste is just right. Plus, the views and the restaurant's vibe make it even better. Seriously, a perfect 10/10. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but it's totally worth it.

I went to the restaurant for lunch and dinner. Both were great. The seabass and curry shrimp are fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with any fish platter. The only challenge I had was clearly identifying our table server because there were multiple people very attractive on providing anything we needed. ... and the price is reasonable.

Amazing Seafood Experience at Catchy Fish & More! I had an excellent dining experience at Catchy Fish & More in Cairo. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, stylish, and had a cozy yet modern vibe. Special thanks to Majid, the manager — he was incredibly professional, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout our visit. His attention to detail and care for guests really stood out. The service was on time, and the waitstaff were kind, respectful, and attentive. They took the time to explain the menu and made great recommendations. Every dish was served fresh and beautifully presented. As for the food — absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The grilled seafood platter was a highlight, and the side dishes complemented everything perfectly. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. What impressed me most was the consistency — great service, great food, and a great team. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking to try something new in Cairo, I highly recommend Catchy Fish & More. I’ll definitely be coming back!

As the Egyptian proverb goes, “You get what you pay for.” Egypt is known for its many restaurants offering delicious food, but truly great service is rare—and this restaurant is one of those rare places. The service here is truly five-star—thank you very much! N.B. Just a little suggestion to enhance the beauty of the place even more: consider repairing the roof of the old boat located in front of the terrace. A bit of lighting and some finishing touches to the floor would really elevate the overall view.

The food is good l, but the staff are the worst and judgmental. If they think you are a good class customer, they will treat you very well, otherwise, they will treat you like trash and you have to call them multiple times to come to you! We decided to have a sandwich after finishing our training in FibersClub, and the experience was the worst.

I ve been visiting them for more than 10 years and yesterday will probably be my last visit. I had food poisoning. The food became hilariously expensive. The salad was bad. The bread was not fresh. Service was slow. Not a single person came to ask you how was the food or ask for any feedback. Clearly something went wrong. I gave two stars only for the ambience which is really nice as always. But otherwise a big NO NO

I’m a frequent flyer here with my partner. We come here often for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is decent. The breakfast is better. We stayed at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza in Cairo for 2 nights on the first leg of our Egyptian honeymoon. We chose to eat in Bullona on the first night Unfortunately what should have been a very special occasion for us was completely ruined by the rude bigoted arrogance of the maitre d' We reserved a table and as we were walking in he whispered to me ' this is a fine dining restaurant and slippers are not appropriate attire' I was wearing expensive black Birkenstock sandals with black linen trousers and a burnt orange linen top. I was shocked and upset.....I have eaten in 'fine dining' restaurants all over the world including top hotels in London where I am from and never been told my dress was inappropriate In any event as guests of The Four Seasons Hotel whose reputation for first class service is exemplary it should not have mattered what I was wearing on my feet We left the restaurant and complained to the hotel management I was persuaded against my better judgment to eat in Bullona Frankly I'm not sure what the fuss is about - whilst the food is tasty and well presented it is certainly not fine dining The remainder of our trip in Egypt was fabulous - a 4 night trip down the Nile and a 6 night stay at the Four Seasons in Sharm Luckily the arrogant rudeness of one man has not swayed my view of the Egyptians who I found to be charming and polite wherever else we went I am however surprised the Four Seasons allows this man to remain employed in one of it's hotel restaurants

If you're on the hunt for a delightful seafood experience in Cairo, look no further than this charming Fish & Chips spot. The ambiance is enhanced by friendly cats that roam about, adding an extra layer of warmth to your visit. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes including a flavorful red seafood soup and various appetizers that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
I had such a great experience at this fish and chips place in Cairo — easily the best seafood I’ve had in the city. The vibe is super cozy and relaxed, with a few friendly cats and kittens around that add to the charm. It feels lively but not chaotic, just a really comfortable spot to enjoy great food. We ordered the red seafood soup (so flavorful!), a variety of appetizers (all delicious), grilled bottarga, head-on shrimp, and a whole grilled fish — everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Service was excellent — friendly, fast, and helpful. If you love seafood, this spot is a must-visit in Cairo. I’ll definitely be going back.

Great experience! The decorations are lovely, the hostess welcomes you with an effortless, beautiful smile and is very patient. She speaks English well and makes sure that the cats don't take over 😅 The food was delicious. We had 2 starters because we wanted to try as much as we could (we had a good feeling). The shrimps wrapped in filo pastry (great starter) and the shrimps with a creamy buttery sauce over them (as good as it sounds). As mains we tried the seabass with shrimps and tomato sauce and potatoes (wow). The fish fillet stuffed with shrimps was deliciousss! Even the grilled vegetables with the stuffed fillet were top notch. The rice was shaped in the cute form of a crab and was OK but to be honest we didn't eat it to save space for the highlights of the day. The mango juice was slightly watered down which was the only small let down. Very reasonably priced for the level of quality you get! Will definitely return! P.S. It's small so go early! (we went there at 7ish and we had one if the last 2 tables available)

We loved the idea of serving seafood in a new and unique way. The flavors were good, though not as exciting or bold as we had hoped. If you're a cat lover, you’ll be pleased to know the cats are around, but don't worry they won't try to steal your food. Overall, we had a good experience, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food.

The “POLLO, MAIS E PEPERONI” dish is absolutely exquisite. One of the best chicken dishes I’ve had on this Earth in my travels. The name and menu description do not display its creativity and depth of flavour. Seagull Restaurant Dokki has been delighting seafood enthusiasts since 1985, and it’s easy to see why! Nestled on a charming boat along the Nile, just opposite the iconic Cairo Tower, this eatery offers a unique dining experience. While its other branches in Madinaty and Sheikh Zayed boast more upscale decor, Dokki's casual vibe is perfect for families. The spacious interior features long tables that create a lively atmosphere.
Pleasantly surprised by the experience. The place was big and there’s many seats near the window. We were first seated in the middle rows and when a spot opened up 5 min after being seated, the staff helped us with a table next to the window for better view without us even asking. Nice! You get to order the food at the chef, where you can choose the exact fish that you want. One of the dining halls is where the fish is displayed, which smelled a bit fishy upon entrance but once we were seated next to the window, it was not even noticeable. The fish was grilled tastefully, to the point that we ordered some more. We also got extra chickpea side dish, which was good. At some point, a man started playing live music, which was a nice touch to the evening. Nice view of the Nile river and Cairo tower. 4/5 points for atmosphere since I feel like the dining hall where we sat could have been decorated a bit more for better ambience.
Ting H — Google review
If you're a seafood lover visiting the coast, Seagull is a must-visit gem. This charming restaurant not only offers an exceptional culinary experience but also boasts an amazing view of the Nile that adds a serene and picturesque touch to your meal. We indulged in a feast of fresh, flavorful seafood, including perfectly grilled grouper and sea bream, tender calamari, succulent jumbo shrimps, and the star of the show—steamed mussels bursting with rich, savory flavor. Each dish was cooked to perfection, highlighting the freshness and quality of the ingredients. What truly completed the experience was their extraordinary lemonade—refreshing, zesty, and unlike any we've had before. It balanced the seafood beautifully and was a favorite at the table. The tranquil Nile view, especially at sunset, made the ambiance even more memorable. Whether you're seated indoors or on the open-air terrace, the setting is ideal for a relaxed and satisfying meal. For four seafood enthusiasts, the bill came to around EGP 4,200—very fair considering the generous portions, top-notch quality, and unforgettable setting. Seagull isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a full sensory experience. Great food, beautiful views, and warm service make it a place we'll absolutely return to.
Naveed Z — Google review
The food was super fresh and really delicious. We were able to choose our own fish and mussels. The prices was also very reasonable. Definitely will visit again.

I had a great experience at this seafood restaurant, recommended by my friends who live in Cairo. They told me it is one of the best places for butterfly shrimp, and I can honestly say it was delicious. The shrimp was large and fresh, much bigger than what I usually see in Europe. I also tried the grilled sea bass, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The green salad and calamari were also fresh and well-prepared. The place is clean with a simple atmosphere, not overly fancy, but the food quality speaks for itself. The staff are friendly and welcoming. What I love about fish restaurants in Egypt is that you can find Mediterranean fish like sea bass alongside Red Sea fish like Nagel. It is rare to find this variety anywhere else in the world. You can literally enjoy fish from two different seas in one country, and that alone makes the seafood experience here unique and worth trying.

Had a lovely experience here! 🐟🍤 The food is genuinely delicious — though the shrimps were a tiny bit salty for my taste, but hey, that’s just me! The seafood soup was decent, not mind-blowing. One of the coolest parts? You get to pick your fish straight from their live display and choose how you want it cooked – love that kind of control! 🎣🔥 Must-try: the fried calamari! Seriously, don't leave without tasting it 😚👌 The salad buffet is fresh, colorful, and full of variety – something for everyone. Service? A+! Everyone is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there – and it shows 😄👏 Only wish? Carry bags for takeout. They give you neat, sealed boxes and even help carry them to your car, so honestly… can’t complain! 🥡🚗 The view and the vibe are the cherry on top – peaceful, fun, and just right. Definitely coming back! 💙✨

Seafood restaurant
Asmak Restaurant is a hidden gem for seafood lovers seeking an authentic Egyptian dining experience without the need to travel to the coast. Here, you can indulge in a variety of fresh seafood dishes, all priced by weight and cooked just the way you like it—whether fried, baked, grilled, or simmered in a traditional clay tagine. The ordering process is simple: choose your desired catch from the display and select your preferred cooking method before settling at your table to await your meal.
The food was delicious, fresh seafood, the atmosphere is not the best
Lina G — Google review
The experience at the seafood restaurant was very enjoyable. There was a wide variety of fresh fish and shrimp on display. We chose the sea bass and grilled shrimp with butterfly sauce. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. The average dinner cost for two people was around 3,700 EGP. I recommend it as a dedicated seafood restaurant.

Great staff that’s both friendly and attentive. They present a great selection of high quality seafood, cooking each dish to perfection. I highly recommend their Aroos fish, it was the highlight of our dinner.

Asmak is a true gem for seafood lovers! The fish is incredibly fresh, the taste is rich and authentic, and the service is excellent. Definitely one of the best seafood spots around!

Lovely experience. I over ate!! Fish on ice as you enter… choose what you want, and they will cook it up any way you wish! Highly recommend!!

Tasty food and fair price. ***** I came to this restaurant in 2022 FEB again. New decorations, new price and new rules. Compare to last year I went, I have to change my review. It’s more expensive than before but the cleaning was bad and staffs were pretty cold. The most important thing was the meals were not so tasty.
Lillian H — Google review
Thank you for the experience—it was overall enjoyable. However, I had a few concerns: the butterfly shrimp lacked its usual flavor and tasted mostly of lemon, and the tahini was overly sour with a dominant lemon taste. The other dishes were decent, though not exceptional. The rice was good, and the fried calamari stood out as the highlight of the meal. Baba ghanog salad 10/10 Tahini salad 2/10 Rice 9/10 Calamari 10/10 Clams 0/10 Butterfly shrimp 4/10 Lemon mint drink 10/10 very good stuff and manger they gave us a milk pudding as a compliment was nice Thank you

literally charged us with double the amount because we were a big group. he took advantage of us and the food was literally the worst seafood ever. quantity wasn’t even the same as what we agreed on.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled in the Agouza district of Cairo, Flying Fish has been a beloved seafood destination since its inception in 1979. While the area may not be the trendiest, true seafood enthusiasts flock to this gem for its exceptional value and quality. With dishes like grilled shrimp at an unbeatable price, it's clear why this restaurant has stood the test of time. The ambiance features charming stained glass windows that add character to your dining experience.
We had a delightful dinner at an old-school seafood restaurant with an elegant old-fashioned charm. The atmosphere was complemented by a warm welcome from the staff, especially Mr. Issam, who was both professional and exceptionally friendly. The food was outstanding, with every dish meeting the highest standards. Special thanks to the head chef, Mr. Attaiah. Looking forward for coming back.

Great experience! We ordered seafood cream soup, chef bram, and shrimp with rice!! Every detail, the service, and the food were wow!!!

A restaurant on the bank of the Nile in Cairo with delicious seafood dishes at reasonable prices. The space is polite and romantic with dim lights and beautifully presented dishes. A memorable evening with us

Fantastic seafood restaurant, service very perfect and rare, very clean place and have amazing interior, style and super perfect music playlist. Very tasty and delicious soup, salads, muscles, shrimps and pasta, all super yummy. Very recommended 🤍👌🏼
Asmaa N — Google review
Don't expect the price will be low. But given the nice environment and good service, I think the restaurant is worth to have a try. The seafood is fresh and we specially like the shrimp soap. Delicious!!!
Hh D — Google review
Everything tasted great (and they’re quite generous with their quantity) except for the stuffed crab, it tasted weirdly unnatural and too heavily seasoned that we didn’t actually taste the crab itself! The fish was good, calamari incredible, and the soup was perfect. Overall a nice experience. Would recommend!

What a place to eat. Amazing. You have to try, as the food is on point here. Try and order different sides on top, as mains come alone or with rice. The Sea Bream 9/10. Brilliant oiled and in oven, brown rice. Shrimp platter 10/10. Nothing else to say, fresh shrimps in this country is my go to food to eat. Tastes brilliant, can't stop eating it. Decor 10/10. Very clean, stain glass windows. Restaurant layout is great, the chairs are my favourite, cushioned leather high back rest. Looks premium too.

Everything is great for this seafood restaurant. Friendly staff provided good service, delicious food with reasonable price. Most patrons are local people. Clean dining environment. Lovely interior design ambiance as well. Recommended.

Embark on a delightful culinary adventure with Le Petit Chef in Cairo, where dining meets innovative 3D theatre aboard the First Nile Boat. This unique experience invites you to follow the world's tiniest chef as he whisks you away on an imaginative journey filled with flavors and stories.
Truly one of a kind experience, will absolutely recommend to my friends. The only issue I faced is that we asked for a medium-well steak and an extra well-done steak but we got both well done, but it tasted delicious nonetheless. Staff were super friendly and sweet.
Rubaiba — Google review
We went for my wife's birthday. First of all the service was great and the staff were extremely nice. The show is good, adults and kids enjoy it a lot. The only issue with the restaurant is that they allow people to smoke icos in the restaurant, the restaurant is closed with AC on so after a bit all the place smelled of icos smoke. My wife does not eat cheese so for the first 2 courses she got a green salad and for the second course she got a red sauce pasta. For the food, both salads were very good. The ravioli and pasta were very nice, they were everyone favorites (people vote at the end for the best dish). The biggest disappointment were the steaks they were cooked more of a well done rather then medium and there taste was mu.ch less than expected. The shrimps were very good. The vegetables were very good as well. The dessert was not the best dish, lots of people just got a taste and left the rest of the dish The birthday cake was better than the dessert. Soft drinks and juice are included in the price. It's definitely worth a try, lots of people had kids and they enjoyed the show a lot.
Wael — Google review
Date night with my husband. Was an amazing atmosphere and fun experience. Watching the animated chefs cook each course on your table was cute! The food was delicious. We loved the buffalo cheese and tomato salad. The service was friendly from everyone and it was fun to vote and see who won at the end of the show. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience!
Amethyst R — Google review
The experience was truly unique and special. I surprised my husband while visiting him in Egypt, and my daughter had a similar experience in Bali. I'm so glad you brought it to Egypt as well! Thank you for including the small birthday surprise and the cake—I wasn’t expecting that extra touch when presenting it to him, and it made the moment even more special.
D B — Google review
The food was pleasant. Although the portions were small, the number of courses fills you up significantly. The dessert, in particular, was very filling but maybe too much so. The salad was the most delicious, with a perfect balance to each ingredient. The ravioli was delicious but needed something extra to enhance the flavor, like another herb, and the steak was juicy and tender. My favorite was definitely the starter salad by Chef Maria. The atmosphere was intimate and romantic, suitable for anniversaries, double dates, and close friends.
Sara A — Google review
The ravioli just needed something acidic to balance it, my steak was cooked to perfection. The dessert was really good but extremely heavy after the first 3 courses. my favorite was the salad -> steak -> ravioli -> dessert. Overall entertaining experience & attentive staff
R S — Google review
Amazing experience at the Le Petit Chef. Fancy but not too fancy. All the food tasted wonderful. Every dish was as good as the next. It was truly an exquisite experience. The price was very cheap compared to other countries. We paid 2500 egp pr person. The servers were not the best. Expected more for a four seasons restaurant. The servers would ask if you were done with your food, even tho you had placed your utensils in the finish position, had pushed the plate away and had completely finished your plate. Other times they would take your food while you were still eating. They just left a drinks menu on our table and never came to ask about it. They first asked and awkwardly removed the drinks card after the third course! And they were so bad at placing the utensils and the plates. The plates would be turned sideways or off center or something different between everyone eating every time. Which made it extra confusing for the video. The servers would also place utensils randomly. They do not seem professional nor educated. Worst of all! There was oftenly not enough time to enjoy your food! Me and my friend are fast eaters. But even for us there was barely enough time to finish our dishes. We were rushed and the next video started with people still eating and not ready to continue. The restaurant itself is in the basement of the boat which seems a little weird. No water view or anything. It makes sense for the video since it's a projector but still felt weird. The food itself and the video saved this whole experience. The food was so great. Every single dish. However it did not feel very multi cultual as the 4 different ethinicity tiny chefs were supposed to simulate. For example; The desert being a chocolate mousse did not feel very japanese. The dish was amazing. But not very japanese. There was a lot of children at the restaurant which was loud and ruined the experience a little. The location was perfect. Near the center and close to the nile. Little tough to get to. We took an uber.

From the moment I stepped into this stunning New Cairo restaurant, I felt like I’d been whisked away to a hidden gem 🌠 The décor is breathtaking: plush carpets, dazzling pendant lights, and smooth jazz filling the air. Every detail exudes pure luxury. The team was positively radiant—every request met instantly and always with a smile. The menu? A wonderland of choices, catering to every palate, including some surprising gluten-free treats. My meal arrived as a work of art, beautifully plated with vibrant, fresh ingredients. The flavors were bold yet perfectly balanced—truly next-level! Portions are delightfully hearty without breaking the bank. Sparkling clean surfaces and spotless bathrooms made me feel at ease. Parking was effortless, and the central location couldn’t be better. The rose-infused lemonade and artisanal glassware stole the show. I left totally re-energized and already planning my next visit—this was a first-time experience I’ll never forget! 😍

This place is nothing short of amazing! The food is excellent, tasty and wonderful. Mahmoud is the best server and bartender, he made us feel welcomed and cared for!

We stayed at the Four Season’s Hotel Cairo and couldn’t miss the Char Bar Restaurant. Who doesn’t love a great burger, and Char Bar definitely doest it right. The food, atmosphere and staff were so welcoming! I ordered the Dynamite Burger with fries and my husband ordered the classic burger and we shared the mozzarella sticks. Everything was amazing but that spicy dynamite sauce stole the show. I needed a side of it for my fries too!
