Location is good. Crozonie chicken pesto was fresh and very good. The mixed nuts were also good though the portion is small for the price. Iced Spanish Matcha and Cinnamon Vanilla Latte were too sweet so I didn't really like them. Prices are the same as any café nowadays. The branch gets very crowded at 11 am. Staff were quick and polite.

Great coffee, bakeries, and hospitality from the very friendly and helpful staff. Place has enough seatings with MANY power outlets (at least 4 per booth), BUT the problem arises when there’s a high usage of electricity/above minimal usage, then the store has to cut off all of the power outlets’ electricity - which isn’t the best situation if you need to charge your devices - ESPECIALLY when you’re working and using a mifi (that needs power) or your phone as a hotspot to your laptop.. as the store does NOT have WIFI... What really does not make sense is the lack of restrooms.. just a sanitiser hung on the wall..
Over rated and very complicated to order a sandwich and they charge for every single ingredient inside the sandwich
They use margerine in all their bakery instead of butter. The coffee is blant and cold. They are over priced for the service and type of food they serve.
I went there specifically to try the basmoula and i loved it. The shop is very nice and clean and they have a nice range of new desserts and things i have not seen before. The lady was so friendly and nice. They have a seating area and the shop location is right on the main street.
Good coffee, but some of the staff should be more attentive to the customer presence and requests. The seated floor may have some music

The food is good l, but the staff are the worst and judgmental. If they think you are a good class customer, they will treat you very well, otherwise, they will treat you like trash and you have to call them multiple times to come to you! We decided to have a sandwich after finishing our training in FibersClub, and the experience was the worst.
I ve been visiting them for more than 10 years and yesterday will probably be my last visit. I had food poisoning. The food became hilariously expensive. The salad was bad. The bread was not fresh. Service was slow. Not a single person came to ask you how was the food or ask for any feedback. Clearly something went wrong. I gave two stars only for the ambience which is really nice as always. But otherwise a big NO NO
I’m a frequent flyer here with my partner. We come here often for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is decent. The breakfast is better. The main dishes are a hit or miss it depends on what the chef prepares. The pizzas are a safe choice. The desserts are out of this world always.
The service is outstanding and the staff is always available and responsive unlike many other restaurants in Cairo.

The place itself has a really chill and cozy vibe, which I appreciated. But sadly, the order didn’t live up to expectations at all. The croissant tasted quite stale—like it had been sitting there for more than a day—and the V60 didn’t taste anything like a proper V60، I gave some feedback, but the only response was reheating the croissant, which honestly didn’t help much.
Absolutely Amazing !! 🤩 it has a warm cozy vibes , from the moment I stepped my foot in , the aroma of the freshly baked pastries was taking me to the different universe.

Coff is nice. Younger crowd, good place to socialise for uni students but not a place to relax and enjoy reading or listening to music.
If you want to have a croissant that satisfies your cravings, you should definitely go there! This is one of the coziest coffee shops I’ve been to, I think it’s for when you just want to hangout with a friend(s) and talk, a place to study, or just to chill. Keep in mind that the place is small for large groups!!!
I would like to note that, we were told it’s mandatory that you have to grab a pastry with the coffee you’re ordering. Their coffee is nice if you want to go grab one along with a pastry, its one of the best pastries I’ve had in a while. Would go there again!
I was so excited to go there but once you go beside the great atmosphere, if you going with someone you better go together because they will ask you to order and it's really annoying like you will runaway or something, then I order Turkey and cheese croissant the gave me something else and trying to convince me this is the croissant, the first guy when i told him the order is wrong he just took the whole order and reheat it, then another guy came and said this is our croissant it's different and it's the same ingredients like the croissant I don't get the point he. They at least show me the shap of it when i made the order if it's there way. Also the best view table comes with a lots of flies all around so enjoy, never coming back... A cozy place in Zamalek that serves an out of this world Nutella croissant. The cheese and olive croissant was very delicious too and the coffee was decent. Really deserves the hype.

While La Madeleine Café boasts a beautiful location, my recent experience there, was unfortunately disappointing. The ambiance is lovely and the scenery is perfect for a relaxing afternoon, however the unwelcoming attitude of the staff ruined our visit…
Rather than feeling welcomed and valued as customers, we felt ignored and rushed. The service was lacking, and it made enjoying our time there quite difficult. It's a shame, because the café has so much potential with its stunning surroundings.
I hope management can address these service issues, as they detract from what could otherwise be a wonderful dining experience. I won't be returning for sure and hopefully no other person will face that same bad behavior 👎

However, there were a few negative points that impacted the experience. The service was extremely slow, and most of the menu items were unavailable during my visit. Additionally, the staff’s attitude did not meet the expectations for a restaurant of this level, leaving an uncomfortable impression.
In summary, the restaurant excels in location, ambiance, and cleanliness, but there is a need to improve service quality and ensure menu availability to provide a truly complete dining experience.

On of my worst experience in Cairo the I ordered food they told me that they closed the kitchen while there was food going out to people. The service is very bad. The customer service is very poor.
The Sofitel El Gezirah is my favorite place in Cairo, and La Madeleine is a wonderful place to enjoy some sweet treats and smoke shisha right next to the Nile!

This is a store strategically placed in the embassy district populated by a few italian families and expats. This is reflected in the items sold in the store. Small but stocked full of much European food items.

Not really a store I'll be visiting often but it is good to have the option.
There are many products from Europe, ok, but very overpriced, also not all the bakery is good for example the baguette is not the real baguette, it doesn't rise well, it's not crunchy, it's full of heavy dough, the same goes for muffins, you should really change the dough, take example from Carrefour, excellent baguettes. Anyway maybe good quality for many things but t you can find the same products more more cheap.

3 hours and I didn’t get the 90 mins order. The order came late and it was the worst quality you can get from a place that promises quality! Onions are rotten! Buns are old!
A good place to find some international brands, including some more speciality type items. Small, split into two entrances, a good go to for some comforts from abroad
I purchased chicken and went home to cook it only to find that it was rotten. I threw it out because the smell was disgusting and I didn't want it to sit in my fridge. The next day I went to Gourmet to complain with the photo of the chicken and receipt and they refused to reimburse me. Horrible customer service and quality control!
We were so happy to discover Gourmet! We live in Dahab, South Sinai and it is difficult to get good and imported products there. So we bought a lot of cheese, cold cut meats, preserved goods and veges. Everything was packed well and it survived the journey back.
We will always return to Gourmet to stock up when we visit Cairo. We LOVE this shop!

I had a wonderful experience at La Brioche Dorée after visiting the Museum. The mango juice was refreshing but what really touched me was the kindness of the team, I had forgotten my phone on the table when leaving, and one waiter came running outside to give it back to me. This small act of honesty and care truly saved my holiday from turning into a disaster (my flight to come back to my country was in few hours, and the museum was closing his doors). I will always be grateful for his gesture. Highly recommended!

Coffee was definitely the worst. Iced latte had so much milk that you can barely taste coffee. Iced Spanish latte was way too sweet and it has too much milk as well. Unfortunately I was on a very busy schedule so I couldn't stop by the cashier again to complain about this. I'm really not sure what was wrong but they need to get it right since they serve a huge number of tourists every day and it's a well known brand. The only thing that's good about this branch is the location and view. prices are good. Staff at the cashier were very quick even though there was along line.

The place has a stunning view on Ein El seera lake, we ordered caramel Frappe and cheese cake, definitely over priced but they were good.

Their catchphrase is Franchement Croustillant - it should be Franchement Mauvais! My sandwich was pre packed and microwaved, the salad was mediocre at best, and the price was ridiculously expensive for Cairo. What a regret, would never recommend a stop here.

Recently tried pistachio ice cream—one scoop for two, Taste-wise, it was good.
It’s a nice place to buy sweets to take home to your loved ones concluding your visit to Egypt. Staff were nice and helpful when I bought at night time. I can’t say the same for the guy who served me ice cream in the morning. He looked so tired and unmotivated to even talk. There wasn’t even another customer in line yet he look displeased serving me. The chocolate ice cream was thick and delicious though. It can get crowded during peak hours as it is famous. Cash and card are accepted.
Cake filled with pistachio cream was really fantastic. İf you are in that location go and taste.
With such high reviews in Google and large crowd around it day and night in both their outlets, must join them😊

Tried their pistachio ice cream at 25EGP only. Also 2 cakes - chocolate layer crepe cake and red velvet cream cake. Both not too bad. The crepe cake is a bit too messy to eat. Flakes all over when bitten. Tasted not too bad.
Not fantastic though. Some items are cheap. Some not so. Don't really understand what the hype is all about.
So many sweets here. A bit overwhelming. Staffs speak almost no English but are willing to help. We came here and got several boxes of cookies and packages of candies as gifts for families and friends. Great prices too.

Cake Cafe, a beloved spot in Cairo, has expanded to multiple branches across the city since its humble beginnings in Zamalek in 2013. This cozy cafe is a favorite among locals for its sweet treats and personalized service. While it's best known for its delicious cakes, Cake Cafe also offers a compact yet delectable menu featuring breakfast and lunch options, sandwiches, fresh juices, and hot drinks.
Well, in the beginning, it's not my first time there, but it's my private one. I have ordered macchiato and honey cake, and actually, i went there for studying, so i looked for cozy and quiet place with a good view.
Absolutely, i have found it on their second floor.
Macchiato was very optimal and has a good taste in addition to the high quality of its ingredients. You can taste their quailty easily from your first sip.
Although i'm not a honey cake's lover, i found it great!. Thus, i think it will be my cup of tea there if i go again.
Finally, they have 3 parts. The outdoor's one, and it's the best for chilling out with your friends, especially if you are a smoker.
The first floor indoor, i don't like this area because it's very close to their kitchen and the cashier.
The third one and my favorite one. The second floor. It forms a long sofa and 4 tables. In addition to high bar table. Moreover, they also have one isolated table with two chairs.
They were great, and i'm happy with this experience, i'm going to go there again to brush up my attention.

This place is soo nice, the stuff is friendly the food, the coffee, and the drinks were all good I highly recommend this place.
It was very nice and had a very nice sandwiches I defo reckon the chocolate cake. The only problem was that the music was a bit weird
We had a great savoury breakfast with coffee from portafilter machine and finished with home made carrot cake and Lotus cheesecake. Ahmedsaad, our waiter, was absolutely lovely and very attentive. Absolutely recommend
Three milk cake is the perfect cake every the stuff is over friendly, the indoor setting not to big the average size in Zamalik coffee shops. Perfect for coffee and talks , working and studying no music in background I love it
I wanted something on the lighter side so I chose the Tiramisu cake which was nice. It was definitely tasty rendition of the dessert but it didn't taste very coffee-y.
My pet peeve was honestly the cappuccino I ordered in the paper cup which was already so small but the cup came half full of just foam so I'd recommend sticking with the glass cups because the people across seemed to have a normal amount of coffee, unlike mine.
The upstairs seating area is comfortable but could get stuffy quickly eventhough there was a really good AC.
We paid 220 which felt like a bit much.
I thought going to a specialty cake place would mean top notch cakes. But that's the thing: a. This isnt a specialty cake place cuz they surve a lot of other things, and b. Not all of their cakes are top notch. We had a carrot cake which was 4/5 so acceptable, and an apple cinnamon cake which was 2/5 at best: the cake kept crumbling as soon as my fork touched it, my guess is it wasn't fresh, and the sauce was watery with zero consistency. Not to mention how thin my slice was compared to the carrot cake slice i was so jealouse! Only good thing about it was the cinnamon infused apples on top.
Atmosphere was okayish but not my personal fav because it was crowded and at times i couldnt hear my friend talk!

The Bakery is still a privileged destination for many people, and it's understandable that people have preferences. All being said, it's a big name on the market and this is a good leverage point. Hopefully, with a couple of promotions and good marketing, it'll make it to 5 stars.
The bakery in the Cairo Marriott is the bargain place in the hotel for meals. it is not the fastest service, but it is fresh to service and all the staff is attentive. If you shuffle a large group miraculous league more staff will show up. We wound up eating three meals.
One of the best places in town to have a quick bite. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Coffee is great and sandwiches are more than excellent. Ingredients are fresh and high quality and they are prepared with passion. Chef Emad and Abdel Samie the waiter are great.

Back in the days it used to be one of the best around. Now it is still good, but not the best with lots of competitors around. Miracle holds its fame since the 80’s, and they used to have many selections of cakes and desserts, unfortunately now they only have minimal selections. Their feteer is good.

It used to be better a few years ago , but it is still not bad , a little pricey maybe over priced in some items but you still get good quality in return! I tried their Roumi Cheese paté for 13.50 EGP, the taste was not bad and the size of it was okay. I also liked the decor and how it instantly makes you feel like you instantly travelled back in time.

Quaint and bright cafe near the Egypt Museum in downtown Cairo. We walked past it in the morning and decided to visit for lunch. The beef sandwich was good but it's the chips that was the best. Freshly made with nice seasoning. The banana frappe was okay, I would recommend without cream. With 270degrees of views of the square, it's a lovely spot to rewind and recharge. Their selection of sweets and cakes look enticing as well.

Ideal place to work, its like a co working space most people go their for meetings and work. Upstairs is much quieter with superb views of cozy trees, downstairs is more with noise. The service, however, was terrible. The cashier was rude and tricked me into buying a box of mini Cinnabons (390 EGP), claiming it was the same price as two large rolls (240 EGP). She also got annoyed when I asked to wrap the leftovers and acted offended when I nicely requested they be divided into two boxes.

I was incredibly happy and grateful to find this awesome EU-style bakery located right next to the German embassy! They serve amazing bread rolls, cakes and donuts at a very fair and affordable price. The variety, quality and friendliness of staff was great, hence the 5 star rating.
They said the coffee is not made from tab water but bottled water (which was important to me), it tasted very delicious.
I'm looking forward to go back again in a couple weeks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :-)

I know from my personal experiences that every beginning is hard and requires a lot of effort and diligence, so I'm going to create this review for ‘Miette’ with these knowledge.
I noticed ‘Miette’ on a taxi ride. I was literally invited by the French style from outside. As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by a very subtle, harmonized, calm marble-wood interior. Great!
Miette's menu was very diverse, literally page by page listed, but the reality was very different. A lot of items which I asked were not available. The presentation cabinet was also far away from the usual inviting French way. Finally I decided to order a cup of black tea & a cheese-mushroom-omelette . They were satisfactory but not comparable to the French taste or the way how they would serve.
I'm going to revisit ‘Miette’ soon again to get a second experience to supplement my review if necessary.
