Chocolate cafe
Nestled in the bustling neighborhoods of Heliopolis and New Cairo, House of Cocoa is a chocolate lover's paradise that showcases an exquisite selection of premium chocolate brands from around the globe. This delightful spot is renowned for its signature molten cake and rich hot chocolate, both of which are must-tries on your visit. The ambiance may be lively due to its popularity, so be prepared for a bit of a wait to indulge in their delectable offerings.
My favorite place. Everything is just perfect. Staff is professional and friendly. Always grateful for the time we spend there. Thank you our House of Cocoa -Zamalek.
Nada A — Google review
the molten cake was very good but i believe 150le is way too much for it the blue ocean drink was great prices include both service and taxes which is good because there are no surprises an overall decent experience
Ezazet M — Google review
Prices are too high compared to food quality, I had molten cake half cold half hot, they refused to serve it with ice cream and costs 112 without adding service and taxes.
Aya S — Google review
We tried the legendary hot chocolate.. It was just hot milk with chocolate flakes.. We didn't like it because the chocolate flavor is not that strong plus of course it is overpriced. Another note is that the chairs outside were not clean, the staff were nice and friendly but both at the counter mispronounced (legendary).
Ahmed E — Google review
DO NOT PAY HOUSE OF COCOA VIA ONLINE PAYMENT! My husband and I ordered the chocolate fanoos from them at the beginning of Ramadan. We paid online on their website. They then called and said that they could not deliver to Zamalek unless we wanted to pay additional fees which ended up being more than the fanoos itself so we said no thank you and asked them to cancel the order. They said they would refund us but it's been 4 weeks now and we never received the refund. So i strongly advise anyone ordering from House of Cocoa to do so by cash on delivery only because they steal money from the people who pay online. And another thing, they don't deliver to Zamalek but yet fail to mention that before you order. House of Cocoa needs to work on their communication and customer service skills with their customers.
Ameera E — Google review
I normally love all their hot drink but wasn't that happy with the frappuccino whether the Mocha or the caramelized. Would stick to the hot drinks.
Nadia D — Google review
Over priced with very average quality and small quantity. I ordered volcano and it was just a cake with some dry chocolate inside.

Restaurant
Crave is a popular restaurant known for its diverse menu and consistent high quality. The Steak & Mushroom Pasta is a standout dish, featuring expertly cooked steak and mushroom pieces with a complementing sauce. In addition to their legendary Shrimp Konafa and Turkey Scallopini, Crave offers healthier options like the Grilled Shrimp Guacamole and Taco Salad. The restaurant also has a new vegetarian menu, including pasta and pizzas.
Crave is an old time favourite of mine, it’s THE perfect choice for Fine Dining with an undeniable flavour of glamour. Whatever you decide to try on your visit, you cannot go wrong with their variety collection of delicious appetisers, Fillet oyster sauce, Chicken Schnitzel Gratin, Cajun shrimp pasta or the mouth watering dessert like their molten chocolate cake. CRAVE’s food is beyond exquisite, tasty and to die for! 10/10 Recommend! ✨
YSQ — Google review
A pleasant discovery by accident and convenience, as Crave is located next to our hotel. The restaurant provided a tranquil space on public holiday where I would spend time enjoying their Shaksouka with a nice flat white. The food was tasty and good value, the service friendly and not over-attentive, and the spot great for a bit of quiet reading and reflection
Doubell C — Google review
This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants. It’s clean and spacious, the food is very good and the menu has quite a variety. The staff are decent and polite but the service is a bit slow.
Nelly R — Google review
The food is delicious, staff is friendly and the place is cosy
Farida E — Google review
An all time favourite for many years. Many options on menu. Good atmosphere and service. Food is great and consistent. My biggest addictions: shrimp konafa, beef teriyaki (medium rare) and the absolute delicious drool over molten cake. Recommended for family and friends.
Mennatallah M — Google review
Had trouble cutting my pizza, the waiter saw me struggling and cut my pizza for me at the table. Friendly service and good food !
Minka D — Google review
I really like crave and specially Zamalek branch. Their food is really good and staff are very attentive and super nice. Unfortunately the stakes are not available. They used to import the meat and was delicious but because of the financial crisis in Egypt they are no longer offering it. Their chocolate fondant is the best I had in cairo and a must to try.
Emad K — Google review
The international cuisine that Crave serves gives you a real rich menu that you can select from The starters, salads , main dishes and also the drinks were all very good among the 4 of us who ordered there. Pasta was really good with a white creamy sauce and rich seafood.

Egyptian restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Zööba is a popular spot in Cairo that offers a gourmet twist on traditional Egyptian street food using fresh, local ingredients. The menu features dishes like whole-grain koshari, chicken liver hawashi, and sakalans sandwiches served with freshly baked bread. The restaurant's vibrant decor and casual outdoor setting create a lively atmosphere for diners to enjoy healthy cuisine.
Definitely one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in Egypt.. specially that I’m on a high protein diet, their eggs shakshoka with cheese, chicken shawarma dish were so delicious and clean.. it’s definitely gonna be my routine to visit Zooba and recommend it for my friends.
Abdullah A — Google review
I don’t understand why it is so famous. Taste normal. And the classic beef sandwich is extremely spicy, I would not have ordered that if I knew.
Zhang P — Google review
Amazing. Must visit in Zamalek. Had a couple of lunches here - super quick, great quality, v flavoursome and incredibly budget friendly! Highly recommend.
Effie R — Google review
The food is fresh, the falafel salad was so delicious and tasty. We had a very good time, we had to wait a little to be seated but it wasn’t too long. It was a nice vibe inside with lots of tourists just like us. Although we wish the portion were bigger, we definitely recommend !
Lazaar B — Google review
The best place in Kairo Zamalek for breakfast - service & people are amazing. The service is excellent, the waiters welcome you with open arms and you feel completely at ease here. The location is small and doesn't invite you to linger for long, but that doesn't detract from the excellent quality of the food. If you are in Cairo, you absolutely have to eat here. Thanks to the Zööba team
J. S — Google review
Great local eatery with traditional dishes. Fast service and friendly staff. We went back few time during our week traveling in Cairo.
Lorena G — Google review
Zooba tastes good, but the service was slow and unorganized. There was a waiting queue and the people at the tables were also waiting. They got our order wrong twice. We didn't ask to correct it the second time. They don't provide tissues or wet wipes or eating utensils. Overall, it's good taste, cleanliness in the kitchen, which is important for the customers, not necessarily in the eating area. Would visit again, but it's overrated.

This charming bakery is renowned for its exquisite blend of European-style and traditional Middle Eastern pastries, making it a must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Best place for pastries ever, it's not for trying once or twice you'll get addicted to their pastries forver ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 and their staff are the best 💯

Recently tried pistachio ice cream—one scoop for two, Taste-wise, it was good.
Abdul K — Google review
It’s a nice place to buy sweets to take home to your loved ones concluding your visit to Egypt. Staff were nice and helpful when I bought at night time. I can’t say the same for the guy who served me ice cream in the morning. He looked so tired and unmotivated to even talk. There wasn’t even another customer in line yet he look displeased serving me. The chocolate ice cream was thick and delicious though. It can get crowded during peak hours as it is famous. Cash and card are accepted.
Leo A — Google review
Cake filled with pistachio cream was really fantastic. İf you are in that location go and taste.
Harun E — Google review
With such high reviews in Google and large crowd around it day and night in both their outlets, must join them😊 So many choices of cakes, pastries, desserts and ice creams. Haven for those sweet tooth. Tried their pistachio ice cream at 25EGP only. Also 2 cakes - chocolate layer crepe cake and red velvet cream cake. Both not too bad. The crepe cake is a bit too messy to eat. Flakes all over when bitten. Tasted not too bad. Not fantastic though. Some items are cheap. Some not so. Don't really understand what the hype is all about.
KF Y — Google review
So many sweets here. A bit overwhelming. Staffs speak almost no English but are willing to help. We came here and got several boxes of cookies and packages of candies as gifts for families and friends. Great prices too.
Hi A — Google review
Great value for money — definitely worth a try! This ice cream shop offers excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
Nexus L — Google review
Amazing, authentic pastry shop filled with all manner of goodies. All pastries are fresh and the smell inside is intoxicating. They see a wide variety of stuff besides pastries like nuts, sweets and ice cream. It is very crowded inside during peak hours but well worth the wait. This is a unique Cairo experience. Friendly staff.

American restaurant
Chili's, an American eatery known for their famous cheesy nachos and indulgent molten cake, offers delivery services across all its branches, allowing customers to conveniently order online. With a variety of seating options available, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Nile at select locations. The service is generally good; however, there may be instances where table attendants are not prompt in their response. The portion sizes of the food are ample and suitable for an average appetite.
Very good place!! Depends on the seating you will get implacable view of Nile. Service is good, till you ask they are not attend your table(you can enjoy the Nile though).. food quantity is sufficient. (Medium sized) I have ordered two main course and one drink) $$. You can visit as group. They have restaurant inside the Nile City(boat).
Marivalan D — Google review
Amazing place very nice atmosphere by the river aowsom service from fayez he is very helpful and generous food is tasty well marinated a bit pricy , I loved the place will visit again Note : parking outside charge 30 LE don't know who gets this money but seem fraud
Ayman N — Google review
One of my favorite branches. The view is amazing and the food was really good this time even though I’ve noticed that the quality wasn’t like before recently.
Mariam W — Google review
I ordered from this restaurant on talabat. The food ordering service. And they bought me food that was disgusting. Smelt bad and looked like it was from the night before.
Magda A — Google review
We have been 12 people so we have ordered many dishes such as kids meals, Himalaya burger, tacos, chicken fajitas, jack chicken shrimp fajitas, trio wings ...etc. the portions are really small and the fajitas were actually Onion's fajitas with some chicken pieces. Wings seems like the chicken had Malnutrition. I have eaten in Cairo festival branch and it was waaaay better. The view also is not that good inside and can't enjoy it as the lights are focused on the glass.
Mahmoud A — Google review
I would like to give zero star for what I have seen today, the one star is for the willingness of the staff to help however with no tools, it was a disaster. Chili's visit was a common thing when going to zamalek. It WAS good. However today was incredibly bad for several reasons 1. Ordered salad, came after food was served and finished. Not sure how is that happening! 2. Main dish was catastrophic: a/ fajita was too cold maybe from a previous day, and not delicious, b/ burger was like a piece of plastic, tomatoes were hard to be eaten 3. Bread was literally hard to swallow, seems an old bread which was reheated in a microwave 4. Drinks: lol, majority of the drinks were unavailable, soft drinks were without soda at all. I got a softdrink with neither soda nor ice in a 37 degrees temperature Thats about the food, to continue this wonderful (joking) visit, we were sitting inside (there is an outside area but it was too hot), logically smoking area should be in the outside area, but guess what? Some people were smoking inside in a closed area. pure illogical, pure non-sense. I heard other chili's locations are better, hopefully thats the truth, because today was too unpleasant. Staff are friendly and willing to help, but seems they dont have the tools needed Please bring back our old chili's 😊 Until then, need to look for alternatives
Benoit L — Google review
There is no non smoking zone. Food quantity is extremely low. The service is good but Quality is no where close to satisfactory. Please raise the standards

The Nile view is impeccable. Their chocolate molten cake was to die for and their mojitos were superb. We ordered the new Nachos Bold with chicken and it was super tasty as well.

Quaint and bright cafe near the Egypt Museum in downtown Cairo. We walked past it in the morning and decided to visit for lunch. The beef sandwich was good but it's the chips that was the best. Freshly made with nice seasoning. The banana frappe was okay, I would recommend without cream. With 270degrees of views of the square, it's a lovely spot to rewind and recharge. Their selection of sweets and cakes look enticing as well.

La Poire Coffee Shop - Cairo Great spot for coffee and breakfast—quality is top-notch and the pastries are fresh and tasty. It’s a bit on the pricey side for Cairo, but the clean, comfortable atmosphere makes up for it. A good choice if you don’t mind spending a little extra for a nice start to your day.
Ramses P — Google review
10/10 for this cool and comfortable cafe. Great food and fantastic drinks. All at a fair price for the quality... Definitely recommended this as a oasis of calm and hospitality in Cairo
Maxwell — Google review
The place is good and quiet in the early morning, the staff are doing a great job on keeping the place clean. There are bathrooms in there. The best thing I like in this place that your coffee comes with a little biscuit.
Кarim K — Google review
Great place. Servers are a little stressed as it’s popular and busy. Good coffee and food.
Pierre B — Google review
Right across from the Egyptian Museum is a great location. Food is good & fresh. French onion soup was hot and tasty, sandwiches came with small fries & salad. The hot chocolate was delicious especially after only having mint tea for a week. It’s the service that lets it down, completely ignored when entering even though there were 3 staff doing nothing. Had to ask if order at counter or sit. Order was then wrong as they didnt write it down. But this is par for the course in Egypt, the food was hot & came quickly once we ordered. Would still come again for food & it’s nice and clean. The other problem is there’s no prices on menu so you don’t know how much until you pay and the cost which was quite a lot once you add the tax & their service charge… which is a cheek when the service was the worse part

Restaurant
Sizzler Steak House is a delightful culinary gem that has quickly captured the hearts of food enthusiasts in Cairo. With its romantic ambiance, enhanced by soothing jazz music, it’s an ideal spot for special occasions or intimate dinners. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring expertly prepared dishes with a variety of sauces and flavors to suit every palate. Despite being relatively new on the scene, Sizzler has built a loyal following thanks to its affordable prices and high-quality cuts of meat.
First, the ambiance: The place is absolutely amazing—great lighting and a cozy atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which makes the experience even better. The menu: It’s well-balanced—not too big, not too small. Just the right variety of options to suit everyone’s taste. Now, the food: Honestly, the food was exceptional. Everything was perfect! It was my first time trying medium steak, but I also got the chance to taste the medium-rare, and I have to say, the medium-rare was far superior—so tender and flavorful. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m definitely coming back again soon!
Mostafa S — Google review
After hearing a lot of hype about Sizzlers, we finally got an opportunity to try it out while in Cairo. We were not disappointed!! Great interiors & ambience. Excellent service… Food was good too. We enjoyed the appetizers.. nachos, & mixed platter… The steak with mushroom pepper sauce was good. Burgers were scrumptious & flavorful essentially the steak burger… Overall I highly recommend this place while visiting Cairo…

Amazing food, great service! This is not my first time here, and every visit just proves how amazing this restaurant is! 🍷✨ The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The service is outstanding: the staff are attentive, friendly, and always make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal or a special evening. I always leave impressed and excited to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone who values great food and excellent service! 🌟

Came to celebrate my friend's birthday. Marawan, a nice young man greeted us and took us to our table. He was so helpful and patient to answer our questions about different dishes. Sizzling stake and chicken fajita was superb. My friend had the sizzling grilled fillet and we shared salad and combo appetizers. They were kind to put a candle on our desserts when hey knew it is my friend's birthday. The surroundings were exquisite and cheerful.
Ibrahim A — Google review
Had great steak at Sizzler for a great price! 🥩 The service was amazing and kind, the restaurant looked really nice as well. The steak was surprisingly great (and big!!) for the price. It was cooked to perfection (the way I requested it). For starters we had a sample plate of different items and our favorite out of everything was the sweet chili chicken. But definitely a good choice if you can't choose between dishes. I had the filet mignon with half portion shrimp and creme sauce (I wanted a different sauce at the beginning but on recommendation of one of the workers I got a creme sauce and it was a great choice!). Recommend to get a full portion shrimp as you only get 3 pieces with the half portion (which was underwhelming to find out). Loved the gravy but not a big fan of the small brown sauce (next to the butter) that comes with it as it had a strong taste of cinnamon. It is a huge portion for the price you pay for. This branch is by far way better than the one we went to at Mall of Arabia (as the steak there was cold and service was slow). It can get busy but we got a table without reservations.

From the uk, Scotland! Here with a couple lads exploring Cairo. The service was incredible! The people and atmosphere amazing and was very cheap. Unbelievable for what you get. More photos on my Instagram : Imtybanks

Consistent in its service & quality. The personnel always greet and help out in a professional and friendly manner. In terms of food, there are no favorites as everything tried was amazing (no exaggeration here). Only comment I’d prefer less fat used for healthier and lighter plates.

Cafe
El-Omda cafe is a popular Arabian restaurant offering a variety of Egyptian and Arabian dishes such as Kushari with Alexandrian liver, beef Shawarma, and the Oriental Shish Tawook. The menu also includes an assortment of dips and desserts, including their famous Rice Pudding. Customers appreciate the good service, reasonable prices, and the availability of shisha and wifi. However, some have noted that it can get noisy during football matches and have raised concerns about cleanliness.
It's our favourite place

Mince is a delightful takeaway spot that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. Whether you're indulging in their decadent caramel-drizzled Nutella and banana French toast or savoring the loaded nachos and juicy burgers, there's something for everyone. The friendly staff adds to the charm, ensuring your visit is pleasant even if space is limited. With quick service and mouthwatering curly cheese fries, it's no wonder this place has garnered rave reviews from first-time visitors who can't wait to return.
This is a take away branch and I went there with my sister without knowing so and the weather were so hot, the respectable cashier ( I didn't know his name unfortunately) brought me 2 chairs and set the table for us to eat inside, he always had a light smile on his face, high manners and served us perfectly. The food was ready in 10 min & was really delicious specially the curly cheese fries. Thanks for the experience, it was the 1st time for me to try mince and won't be the last. That happened 20/6/2024 at almost 7 pm ( I mentioned the timing to refer to the staff that were there in that very time and i thank them all)

Very overpriced regarding the size and quality of food. Ordinary taste, nothing special.
Eman M — Google review
I ordered Juicy Lucy burger, average taste, nothing special or unique, burger patty smaller than bread. Chicken wings was rancid and extremely bad,I ordered at midnight and I'm 100% sure they didn't change the oil since they started their shift. Besides that how did you guys manage to get dat small wings, like seriously it's chicks wings not chicken wings.

Their menu features a diverse selection of oriental and modern desserts alongside savory baked goods, ensuring there's something for every palate. From visually stunning tarts to delectable cakes and charming French pastries, Tortina consistently impresses with its quality and taste.
I ordered el mekashkesha. It was delicious but small portion and expensive. I also ordered elmedhradga it was also small portion and expensive. I liked the sauce. I also love the crumble cake which is Choclate with cherry. We always order it for birthday parties together with the one half chocolate and half fruits. The prices increased a lot lately but the quality is good.

Thank you, Tortina! ❤️ There was an issue with my order, but it was resolved the same day. The product was exchanged easily, and special thanks to Mr. Sayed, the branch manager, and the staff for their assistance. Thank you all! ❤️

Stumbled upon this gem with my bestie while wandering through Downtown, and we just couldn’t resist the view from the balcony. Potato Bar has such a charming vibe—almost like stepping into an “Arabian Nights” scene, with its cozy setup and warm ambiance. But honestly, the real showstopper is that balcony. You’re right in the heart of Downtown, perched above the buzzing streets, watching people weave between gorgeous old buildings. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause and just soak it all in. A perfect spot for anyone who appreciates character, comfort, and a killer Cairo view lol

Dukes is a delightful gem in Egypt, renowned for its unique take on desserts, particularly their exquisite dirt cakes. At first glance, these creations resemble charming plants nestled in ceramic pots. However, upon closer inspection, you'll discover layers of delectable flavored mousse enveloped in cake—available in tempting varieties like vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, strawberry, apple, and coffee. But that's not all! Dukes also serves up classic American cookies that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
