Great little hidden speakeasy tucked away on Belmont. Stumbled upon it and loved the atmosphere. The £10 signature cocktails are amazing and well thought out and balanced. Had 3-for-2 small plates with a great variety : had the fritters, bao, and poutine. Evan and Charlie (Charlotte) were friendly, attentive and prooud of the establishment. Bonus points for being in a basement so the bathrooms are on the same level!!!

Firstly. Service: phenomenal, was greeted instantly, kind and soft spoken server and our water jug was refilled when it wasn’t even empty. The way my jaw dropped at the level of sophistication this place has (even at almost 1am). Please come here is your unsure as I could not recommend more. Furthermore the actual drinks here are delicious and well thought out, plus, the mixologists know what they’re on about here. I referenced a drink from a video game and one of the bartenders knew what is was, told me and said he could make it if I wanted. 6 stars!!!!

The pepper saltzman was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even one that caught my eye at first but I was having trouble deciding between all of the amazing-looking drinks and asked our waitress for help. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave great descriptions of all the drinks. We were planning to stay for 1, maybe 2, drinks, and instead stayed for 3 plus the 3 for 2 deal on small plates—all were delicious, especially the fried chicken bao buns.

Been coming here for yeeeears and it never disappoints!!! Celebrated our 10 year anniversary with our favourites.... Rye Old Fashioned and the dirtiest of dirty Gin Martini!!! You guys are all amazing, make us feel special evertime we're in, even when the place is packed... which is always, make sure you book! If not a seat at the bar watching the magicians.. sorry mixologist is well worth it!!! Cheers guys and see you soon!

Was here early afternoon for cocktails. As it was early it was quiet. Not all the food menu was available so we didn't eat. Cocktails were great. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks.

We have traveled to many a famous cocktail bar in our time. The Tippling House measures up to the likes of Death & Co in New York. Inventive cocktails with refreshingly unique pairings of base spirits, fantastic liquers, and various modifiers make for a wonderful imbibing experience. When paired with the excellent service and knowledge of libations the staff bring to the table, it makes the place special. Go here, have a drink, and be happy.

Tasting menu was very nice and cooked to perfection and all cocktails very original, unusual and very tasty. The service was also very good. I wasn't too keen on the ambience - a bit too dark and cold. Some background music would be also nice as it was awfully quiet at times. EDIT: I didn't realise the rule for music applied to restaurants. My apologies - if it was possible, I'd add half a star :) 0

Lovely staff who accommodated our request for a booth. Wine flight was a great experience and all staff were attentive (especially the lovely man who ran out with my sisters forgotten umbrella!l Only 4 out of 5 for food as we are Vegetarian and felt it a bit bread heavy but understood it was a small menu and we enjoyed what we had

Beautiful decor, however food and drinks were average and overpriced. Staff were lovely and attentive, yet as others have reviewed we were met with an initial rudeness from management about needing the table back 45 mins prior to what we were told we could have it until because apparently "they were going to be busy and need to think of customers" despite us being customers! It didn't make a good first impression or help us to feel relaxed. We chose to leave promptly and go elsewhere with our money than stay where we were not wanted. Ordered a Hibiscus Pina Colada, don't think this is what I got more just a plain Pina Colada. Although it was tasty. At £11 garnish was disappointing.

We had a great time at Grape & Grain. Excellent wine in a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back, and would recommend it. We shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and had bruschetta as a snack. I also had a strawberry daiquiri. Excellent service and overall it was a great evening.

The manager was very accommodating and was also nice enough to come after us when we left belongings in the restaurant

Always enjoy G&G. Was a bot on the pricey side though, at £28 for 2 prosecco cocktails.

We had a dinner there on our first night in Absolutely loved the food, the staff and the beer! Guys were super friendly and attentive, our burgers were smacking and the beer was kicking. We stayed till closing and we left fully fed, very tipsy and super happy 🍻

One of the best vegetarian burgers I’ve ate in the last few months. The onion ring inside was very interesting for me. People working there always friendly, the restaurant has a nice area with cool music.

Did the all you can eat wings on a Wednesday, good quality but slow to bring fresh wings as the place was busy. Recommend going at a lunchtime if you want a shot at a record

All food lovely as always at this Revolution branch from Chef Sam. We frequently come here and all the staff at this brach are lovely and very accommodating and welcoming. Will be back !!

Went to revolution for my friends hen do. We did a cocktail making class with Paddy who was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and really got the vibe going for the night. The rest of the staff had good service and were friendly aswell as helpful. Later on in the night I hurt my ankle quite badly. Staff were so quick to get me ice and somewhere private until I could get picked up. Very friendly, helpful and amazing service. Could not praise them enough!

WOW OH WOW, Came here to use a Groupon voucher and ended up staying until close. Our server for the night was Eilish, absolutely fantastic from the get go. She was so friendly and efficient. Also happy to help us use our voucher and get our order fulfilled. Food was fantastic and so were the drinks. We will DEFINITELY be back.....

We visited last night for a 'Virgin Experience Cocktail Master Class'. The Master Class from Paddy was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable. We 100% recommend him. We learned lots from him. However, our pre-booked, post-Experience meal 'experience' was rubbish. Paddy made sure our starter arrived soon after our cocktails (at 7.15pm) but the rest of our pre-ordered meal never arrived, despite asking for it from the person who we thought was in charge of getting food out - she was singularly focused on other people (Tall Ships crew). We left because over an hour between a starter and the non-arrival of a main (despite asking for it) is just rubbish. DO: Go to Revolution because Paddy is excellent. NEVER EVER: Go to Revolution because everyone else appears to be rubbish.

I’ve always enjoyed coming to Rev de Cuba on Saturday nights, but lately the quality of the music has been really disappointing. This is meant to be a Latin bar, yet after midnight the music seems to shift almost entirely to Taylor Swift remixes and generic chart tracks. It never used to be like this, and honestly it’s put me off coming back, which is such a shame because it used to be my favourite Saturday night spot. Everything else about the venue is fantastic—the food, staff, and drinks are all great—but the music has completely killed the vibe. Please can we listen to some actual Latin music on Saturday nights 🙏

Lovely place with great vibes. We visited with friends The music is lively with latest hits. The drinks menu is pretty good and we tried a lot of items. Though they taste good we felt they seem more juice and less spirits so bit expensive for value. We tried the Cuban honey which was good. The sangria jug was more ice and juice than anything else. The Pineapple Express was okie dokie. The fierce female and caipirinha was strictly okay.

The food was alright, cocktails were decent too. Not bad value for money the staff were great, good atmosphere too

So I was here for Cuban night, the DJ was lovely and the atmosphere was bubbly and enjoyable, salsa dancing was permitted and as usual everyone was polite. I did not have anything to eat, it was just drinks and shots (which were always coming 🙃) very nice staff too! Will surely return when I am in Aberdeen again

The place to go if you want delicious Cuban food. The service was excellent. They prepared the table side guac amazingly. The drinks were nice and cold. The bar area was so chic...I loved hanging around there that we went twice on our short visit to Aberdeen. Highly recommend!

Could not fault the service here! Amazing food, amazing staff and great service. I had a family emergency and had to rush off mid birthday lunch and didn’t know if I would be back but the staff were so accommodating to my friends and offered to pack up food, or reheat it if needed when I eventually did get back. When I did return they had a birthday cocktail waiting for me and they were so lovely and attentive making sure that I was okay. Honestly couldn’t recommend Rev de Cuba more, definitely come here if you’re in the area or are looking for a good night out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were the only folk there so not sure why we waited 45 minutes…but when it came the food was delicious and they went the extra mile by preparing a birthday treat for me. If you go leave enough time as it takes a while but worth the wait. Lovely waitress and nice extra touches.

Cocktails and service was nice but food was a bit of a let down. We ordered 6 small plates and was barely enough for 2 of us. Food quite bland and not very exciting. Asked for more pita bread for the hummus but was told I'd need to order the dish again to get more bread so the kitchen can track the stock... Lol. Rather disappointing. Service was nice tho!

An absolute gem of Aberdeen. I had the most amazing cocktails made with a wonderful smile and a great sense of humour by Rhiann. I only intended on having one but her skill and passion and the wonderful attitude she possessed, I just couldn't settle for one. I ended up spending most of my weekend there. Her sidekick Ben was an absolute star, great conversation and plenty of laughs, made this dynamic duo an absolute dream to be served by. No request was too much, their combined knowledge and their humour and wittiness made my visits and absolute pleasure. Totally an asset to the Spiritualist and anyone passing through Aberdeen should pass by and experience this level of service and commitment. It would be criminal not to. Can't wait to visit again.

I never had any food that’s why I put a 2 star but I feel it would be good as they are on aberdeen restaurant week?. We are doing cocktail making it’s the mixology one was very good!! I would maybe take hand sanitiser with you though as your hands may get a bit sticky ahah.

Lovely converted church into a bar and restaurant, serving an eclectic range of meals from around the world and good beer. I only marked it down on service as I think our server was somewhat preoccupied and wasn’t as attentive as I would normally like, but we can all have an off day, and I am certain this isn’t the norm.

Such a let down. The location and environment is amazing. However, the service was horrible. 30 minutes to get our starters Another 30 minutes to get water refills Another 30 minutes to get our food The manager finally apologized after 80 because they only had one chef in the back. I can appreciate being short staffed in the kitchen, but how does that keep you from communicating and getting refills before an hour? The food was good enough but the seasoning was super inconsistent. Fish and chips needed salt. The chicken fajita was overly spicy. The pizza needed salt. The steak was overcooked. The Mac n cheese croquette had zero flavor. The highlight was the caprese skewers which were absolutely delicious! Huge let down and I would suggest people find another place to eat in Aberdeen.

This place is really amazing it's a bar in an old church with stunning glass windows. Seating area outside with heaters. We stopped for a cocktail my husband had a Bloody Mary I had an Aperol Spritz. Both cocktails were lovely staff were great. We sat outside and it was a lovely spot to watch the world go by. Would definitely go back. Has clean toilets.

Had a lovely night with my husband on a Friday night in Soul. The staff was really helpful and the food was also so good. They had a nice DJ. Friday nights fully crowred. If you're going for food better to reserve a table with food, else you'll get only the drinks. You can park in the Bon-accord square which is in Bon-Accord street, Easy Parking. Security also good. And the atmosphere is really really good.

A great place go, even when it's quieter, like early evening. We were served by Jamie - who is probably the most attentive barperson we've ever come across in our lives. We really loved his friendly, professional nature and just how seriously he takes his job, like a proper host rather than a drink making machine. A really nice venue, with skilled bar people and loads of interesting drinks on the menu and on tap.

Lovely selection of cocktails....really polite bar manager (or bar key holder) Table service and was given a tab till we left. Really nice customer service. Liked the fact you are encouraged to be a good social drinker...with water given to us as well! Good responsible barring. Not too keen on the whole sweaty music tho! Considering this is a cocktail bar and I was there at around 2 am, I was sober enough to remember it with fondness. It was very crowded and loud, which I am never very fond of. However, it made up for this with a combination of friendly atmosphere, happy staff and a quirky interior layout, being long and narrow. Not a place to go and have a leisurely chat, but if you want a young, vibrant, noisy drink in the wee small hours of Aberdeen, one of the places to be.

Just moved to Aberdeen a week ago.. ive found myself in here twice. Great vibe and seems really popular. Friendly welcoming doorman is always a plus and the bartenders look after you. Live music nights make for a great venue. I'll be coming regularly.

I had drinks here with work colleagues pre-lockdown and had a great night. We decided to work our way through a number of the cocktails on the menu and every one was first class! My favourite was amaretto sour! Would highly recommend to anyone/group looking for a great night in a quality bar with brilliant atmosphere and superb drinks!

Popped in for a couple of drinks after we’d been for a meal. Quite a few different cocktails to choose from: there was something for everyone in our group. Staff were helpful & the drinks tasted great!

Good music, good atmosphere. Barstaff seemed annoyed at how busy it was, several of us felt they weren't happy serving us so that was the only poor part of the night.

Had a Rave at new year which was hilarious fun. Venue has two large tunnels as rooms with separate bars and music, pumping beats for this new year event. Door staff were extremely professional and helpful with customers including dealing with someone who collapsed.

Need to get a handle on their bouncers, not too long ago we witnessed a bouncer throw a man to the ground and crack his head off the pavement (he was charged by the police in the end). Thought they would have given training to their bouncers considering that but clearly not, last night my friend was grabbed by three bouncers and dragged out because he lifted up my other friend on the dance floor… bit of an over reaction I’d say. He ended up falling down the stairs and they were dragging him by the wrists even though he wasn’t giving them any hassle and was willing to leave. Barbaric men on a wee power trip.

Me and a few friends attended not to long ago and we had such a blast. Friendly bar staff and a all round great atmosphere! If you are looking for a package deal then I highly recommend it as it great value if you have a big group!

I attended club t for my birthday, had previously booked the vip birthday package and was expecting a great night and for drinks to be ready for arrival. My friends and I arrived at the club at 10:25pm and it was very quiet therefore we should’ve been served quick, however it took over 45 minutes to get our drink packages out and the staff were rude and pretty useless. When drink finally arrived a whole bottle was missing and when I questioned staff the response was extremely rude! Very upsetting and disappointing service. Also the lead up to the event and booking experience was utterly shocking, the communication from the company was so poor. Booking an event is a waste of time and money! Definitely not value for money

I had a giggle in here, so much nostalgia, and decent decor. Spent most of my time with locals and staff saying "a dinnea geet ya" or "a dannea ken ye paaaal" the Manchester accent clearly doesn't travel well. The staff was chatty but busy, no hassle off the locals when asking questions about what do, in the city and where to avoid. The music is all floor fillers and bangers, it's not like Now that's what I call, where you get 40 songs and 10 are monsters and 30 fluffs, it was hit after hit after hit and some stuff I don't think I've heard since I was a kid and growing up. Drinks not too badly priced either, over all had a banging night both here and at Vogue and switching floors was nice.

Been trying to buy cigars from this branch for over 3 months now. Each time I go in I get the same response "the boss hasn't offered new cigars because he is saying the place needs to make money first". Surely that's the simple laws of economics, sell cigars and make money. Today I went in at 5.15pm, they should be open until 6pm but they were closed. Very disappointed in this place now.

What a great shop! I rarely get to smoke these days. Went in today and the chap couldnt be more helpful, clearly knows his stuff. I actually only wanted one cigar. Walked out with 2, dont regret a thing. Smoking the one the guy recommended and what a fantastic smoke it is. This place is seriously good. I will back!!

Super friendly & Knowledgeable. Always got time for there customers. When I first came to them as a new customer and was getting started on cigars I was shown what would be the best starters which wouldn’t brake the bank.

On a recent visit to Aberdeen. I was seeking perhaps a cigar or two, but outside the two large Scottish metropolises, it can be difficult to find anything more than a tubed Havana. I was delighted to find CASC on King Street therefore, where I stumbled into an aladdin's cave of smokes both Cuban and New World. There were also Scotch whiskies, craft beers and coffees. All life's little luxuries! There is a most impressive walk-in humidor, and the young gentleman on duty that day had a remarkable knowledge of the impressive selection of drinks and smokes on offer which put mine, an old hand in these matters, to shame. I left financially poorer, but with a haul of purchases I had not expected to discover outside Glasgow or Edinburgh. Owing to the brevity of my visit, I had no time to visit the sister establishment on Stirling Street, but I will most definitely be back!

Nice shop in King Street with a huge selection of cigars. They have a limited, but pleasant, range of whiskies and a few local craft beers to choose from. The lads in the shop were pleasant and helpful.

First time being in here in many years, potentially since it became a part of a chain. Used to be a frequent place when a student and there was always a good platefull no matter what you ordered. We were a party of 3 and found there was plenty seats even though the Tall Ships were just arriving in the city. Me and my partner had the fish and chips and my mum had the beer battered halibut. Decent plate portions with the two fish and chips being tasty and no complaints. The beer battered halibut was large, however on getting some of it to try, the beer batter overpowered any taste of the fish. Bit disappointing, but as it was over £16+ my mum (81) still finished it with stray chips and parts of the fish magically appearing on my plate every so often. 😂

My sister and I were travelling and came upon this wonderful pub in Aberdeen Scotland. The food was excellent and the staff attentive, super friendly and fun to talk to. Waitstaff Fergus and Shawn represent this establishment well and the owners are fortunate to have them.

This was my first time in Aberdeen and I just stopped by for a beverage yo explore this pub. Connor was serving me. The service was excellent and Connor made me feel really welcomed. I very much enjoyed being at the pub and I can highly recommend! Oh, The Snug is marvellous!

The wait for our food that we had pre-ordered was three hours. We waited in a 130 deciple bar with obviously over served patrons, but do you think we could get drinks? No. What a mess!

Fantastic place. Has a roof top beer garden, though it was a bit chilly in the shade. The staff is lovely and provides fast service. We went with friends and had a lovely time. The drinks are fine and the food was delicious. Most of us had the duck confit which was delicious. The salmon fish cake and chicken Kiev was very good too. For desserts we had the sticky toffee which was a bit dry and the peach frangipani which was okay.

Staff and manager congregated at the end of the bar. Swore repeatedly throughout their conversation in ear shot of my two kids. Food on a whole was really nice. I dont know what happened with the steak pie on this occasion far too much salt was added - thought it was just me but my husband tried and agreed.

Rooftop garden was peaceful and sunny. Steak amd ale pie was amazing with extra gravy and good mash/cabbage combo. The pastry was split in half with the steal inside which was a new touch I liked a lot

Nice place, the weather outside was awful when we visited so it was empty inside and it wasn't to warm. The food was grand the drinks were better. Wouldn't be in a rush back but it did the trick to get in out of the snow.

Dispite the lunch crowd, the waiter was attentive and took my order quite quickly. I tried the haggis fritters which is really delicious. I so wanted to have the sticky toffee pudding, which was really yummy, until I found some pieces of plastic, little bits of it. At first I thought it was just one off, then followed 3 more bits. Well I think the chef was having a tough day. I wasnt charged for the pudding, however, there was no apology though which was a real let down, hence my 3 star rating. No doubt the food is good.

I very rarely review stuff. But this gaff for Aberdeen is absolute Top banana. Been a few times now sooo when delayed for work. Food is sublime and very reasonably priced. There is a great selection of drinks priced probably average for Aberdeen. Beer is good also. Highly reccomend a visit.

A great place to come have a drink or a bite to eat. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing although I just got a pick 3 it hot dishes were hot and the hummus was amazing!

Great looking pub, great service and helpful staff. However, that's as good as it gets........food was awful. Ordered steak pie, got to be the worst plate of food I've ever ordered. There were 4 bits of beef on the plate !. The waitress asked if everything was OK and I told here about the meagre portion of beef served........she came back with another 2 pieces !!!. AVOID, if you're looking for decent food it was awful.

my food was very nice. we got the scampi to start, and then i had the chicken katsu burger and the badger got the chicken and bacon burger. also incredibly cheap. desserts let it down a little, but not the biggest deal. service was fast and friendly, and the energy in the pub was nice - sociable and chatty, but not too loud.

Wonderful British Pub. Found on CAMRA as they have four to six true hand drawn cask conditioned ales. Food was really good. Fish and chips were great. You can tell the fish was fresh. Service was spot on. Everyone was friendly and helpful and catered to us tourists by helping us find more local spots. Great time.

Very nice stop at Prince of Wales. A good sample of Scottish cask beer with good advice and even possibilities to test ( they are also a lot of classical draught beers). I was really surprised by food that was really tasty and with a large choice. It's not on the mains street but it really worth the detour.

A proper pub with character! The Prince of Wales is full of charm — dark wood interiors, a classic bar, and that cosy, old-school feel you want from a good British pub. Tried their deep-fried haggis fritters (pictured), and wow — crunchy on the outside, rich and peppery inside, exactly what you’d hope for. Came with a fresh rocket salad and a light vinaigrette that balanced out the richness perfectly. Simple, hearty, and well done. Drinks were great too — solid beer selection, including local brews, and the service was friendly and unfussy. It’s the kind of place where you could easily lose track of time with a pint in hand. Perfect for a relaxed evening or a casual bite with proper Scottish flair. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town and want something authentically local.

We were hungry and looked for a pub with good reviews close to the bus station. This one was perfect. Nice pub atmosphere. Found a table to sit despite it being busy. The bar staff were friendly and the service fast and efficient. The food came out much faster than we expected. My steak and ale pie was very tasty. No nasty gristle and my wife’s mince was good too. The Lemon tart was nicely tangy. Not Michelin star but just fine. We’ll be back with family next time.

The haggis pie was divine. I did not like the Cullen Skink soup. It was unlike all others I've had before.

Super pleasant atmosphere in the pub. The food was of high quality, and the staff were extremely professional when it came to dealing with allergies. The food arrived very quickly, and the mood was great throughout the entire evening. I can absolutely recommend the gluten-free food here.

The experience was I would describe as mixed. The reason for that was that there was only one member of staff working there during the day which made customer service relatively slow, it isn’t to blame the person working as they were constantly working. They weren’t too happy that we ordered tea and hot chocolate, as they explained it isn’t a place to drink tea, however we wanted to eat their dishes so we wanted to stay, we didn’t drink as both of us for medical reasons couldn’t. The food took about an hour to make, the person also forgot what we ordered so we got a pizza and a hot dog but we actually ordered two hot dogs. We never got our tea, we just had coke. The member of staff was nice and friendly about it and felt bad in a way but I suppose the service wasn’t the best but not the worst. Things do happen and people do forget so it isn’t that big of a deal, he was happy to change it if we needed it changed.

One of the best Brewdogs I've been to in recent times! Service was exceptional, Cameron and Stewart made our night really special. Clean and tidy environment, looking great. Fantastic atmosphere. Daily Draught options on point. Can't wait to go back! Thanks for a great night!

We love coming to the flagship for Tuesday quiz nights. The food is always so good and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Hilarious banter from the quiz master, really recommend this branch

The "Flagship" is a great and must place to visit for an EFP (Equity French Punk). First step in my quest of stamps to complete my intergalactic passport to the global Brewdog bars. Very comfy sofa. Quiet (not loud, so very enjoyable to me) good rock music. With extra amazing beers of course. Professional and very kind young barmaid. Will definitely come back.

This being the first Brewdog bar it is a bit on the cosy side but none the less, the air is filled with the smell of freshly baked pizza, there are great tunes playing and dogs are more than welcome. As you would expect the bar is full of Brewdog's awesome produce so you are spoiled for choice. You can also buy shares at the bar and the place is all on one level so it is wheelchair friendly. Live bands also play here and it can get very busy.

We had such a great time at Brewdog Aberdeen! Stuart and Cameron and all the staff were awesome. The Dog L was particularly lush and the pizza is just more-ish. Updated this review as we have been back again and enjoyed ourselves just as much! Always dog friendly!

We have been here a number of times now across many years and always had great food. Firstly Scottish Tapas, then Bao buns, now fresh pasta. We had Beef Shin Ragu and Chicken Parma, both delicious with perfect pasta. A tiny menu but well executed. Quiet today as the sun was shining and they have no outdoor seating but have always felt lucky to get a seat in the past. Lovely bar staff and nice ambiance.

10 October 2025 2 young women working the bar were very gracious. We had liquid for lunch. 2 persons. Delicious cold water served with a diet coke (I know, not adventurous)& Hendrick's & tonic. I reviewed the drink menu & "Let's Split" sounded intriguing. I'm not a fan of spiced rum, but I can quickly change. Oh my goodness, what a treat! I had 2! On an empty stomach! I was a bit tipsy, but I'm a light-weight. Plus, we believe in supporting an establishment that has our Pride Flag displayed. Excellent service.

If you're looking for somewhere cosy to hang out, eat & drink - 99 is hands down the best place to go in Aberdeen. The staff are full of knowledge, helpful and friendly. Their new food menu is incredible. Steak frites are my favourite! Great cocktails, always have a very creative menu! 1000% recommend.

One of the best cocktail spot I hsve been to. Bartender Ally is amazing. She knows her stuff makes a good drink. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a good drink. The atmosphere is brilliant good music not too load so you can still speak. Without shouting. Definitely be back.

Delicious and fresh food. Only one objection is that the bao buns are a bit small and can be part of a set, not a dish on its own. Apart that everything was good. The portion of fries was generous. Nice and attentive staff.

The food is absolutely amazing, can't fault it honestly and for a good price too. The cocktails are very good but a bit pricey in my opinion. However, if you ask, they can prepare a mocktail for you, which is what we did on our last visit. The place can be very loud, which can lower the experience for me but the staff is very nice and accommodating.

Scottish Tapas served here. Great rustic interior. Friendly service. Most of the selection of the tapas was lovely especially the Nachos. The chickpea curry Dahl, the mushroom soup and the Kale & Ginger falafel however was disappointing. Would still recommend as overall experience was lovely.

Iconic whisky bar in the heart of Aberdeen. Huge selection of the best drams at sensible prices. Small selection of food is available 'subject to availability' but I didn't try as had eaten already.

Very nice pub and you could also have a whisky flight. We chose one with only scotch whiskies, but you can also choose international whiskies. If I ever go to Aberdeen again I would definitely go there again.

The best whisky bar we visited in the 2 weeks we were traveling around the north half of Scotland. In fact we made an additional stop in Aberdeen just so we could visit again! Great atmosphere and wonderful service.

Doesn't look much from the outside but step inside into a throwback to how proper bars used to be. Staff in uniforms, immaculately kept interior. Amazing selection of whisky and decent range of beers too. Great atmosphere . Didn't visit the gents but had reports they were "characterful"

Came in to see what a “coffee shop of the year” was like and it was disappointing. Tho service (order from the bar) and atmosphere was excellent the food was not. My order was quickly delivered but was leery when I asked for the potato and leek soup (at 11:00am) waitress said “let me see if there is any left!?! I expected fresh soup at that time of day- but received watery soup, must have been yesterday’s leftovers just reconstituted with water😞. Hubby got the “fluffy” fruit pancakes- oh boy! They were rubbery, thin, and hard. He had to use a knife to cut it up. Came with blueberries and bananas but apologized about the lack of strawberries which they ran out of and then went to the local Sainsbury’s to get more later. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make homemade fluffy pancakes- nor have all the kitchen supplies ready to serve. Too bad the kitchen didn’t have their act together. I’ll be going to other cafes that are better!

What a wonderful spot! Cozy and welcoming, and best of all a huge gluten free menu! I went for brunch and had a wonderful breakfast bagel and side of beans. The staff were so reassuring about the safety precautions (toasted in the oven, hashbrowns weren’t fried in shared fryer) that as someone with coeliac I felt very at ease. Tea was posh.

Wee gem of a place. I like that's it's a cafe and bar/restaurant combined, the decor fits both styles very well. Really well decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Exceptionally friendly staff! We had a caramel latte with almond milk & a chai with almond milk, plus a slice of carrot cake & a nutella croissant. The cakes were absolutely delicious and a big mug for the drinks which was great! Really well priced as well. Will be back to try their cocktails and dinner menu sometime. Would highly recommend!

I was pretty disappointed that they abandoned their craft mission and landed to the mega average beer of brutish lagers plus a couple black isle and very little more. I expected much more from a place with “craft” in his name. The food was edible. On the minus side, after they ask you to pay right away, a confused girl ran after us asking if we paid everything. We paid everything but if you really want to make sure you should have a vague idea of what we ordered and ask for receipts. That’s the downside of hiring confused (to be kind) teenagers to pay them little.

We stayed a night in Aberdeen on our way to Inverness. Decided to go downtown and find a place to eat. We found the Craftsman Company and we're so happy we did! One of the few places in the UK that had white chocolate for my mocha (best cup of coffee I had in the UK!) and the food was great! Perfect portions and great flavor. The place was busy and the atmosphere is so cozy!

This is a very good restaurant. We really appreciate your various dishes, especially the grilled chicken wings as an appetizer, which are very delicious. It's just that the appetizer and the garlic buns as a side dish taste a little bland.

Been there once & it was an exceptional experience. Essentially a local boozer, but filled with an intriguing assortment of characters who, if you are brave enough to engage, will enthrall you with anecdotes & peccadilloes of their local culture. Not to be missed if you're looking for an authentic experience in this city. Came for one, stayed until closing. It's how they roll apparently.

One of the best pubs in Aberdeen,along with the Grill & kirkgate, a city severely lacking in truly GREAT traditional boozers,it falls behind Dundee in this respect, never mind Glasgow & Edinburgh,but anyway this is a wee gem & the bar manager/owner? seemed like a decent fellow.

It's nice, rare that you can get two drinks for less than 10£ these days in Aberdeen. Had something for everyone if you know the right time of day/week to go.

Bar staff were fantastic thank you Callum! We worked our way through every beer on tap over a couple of evenings and they have regular changes for fresh kegs of different cellar beers. 100% don't be shy, check it out!

Was a really good night til a bouncer came up to me and kicked me out with a petty explanation saying about how I walked down the stairs (I was in heels and was holding onto the handrail) then wouldn’t let me get my jacket and made me get up from one of the benches outside. Absolutely horrific kicking people out for no reason and doing the same to so many people

This place used to be so good and the bouncers were all so lovely. But after a few week it’s got so much worse to the point where where me and my friends would arrive and feel unsafe and scared to the point we wanted to leave. All the nice bouncers that actually took care of us and made sure we were okay left and now Babylon is stuck with disgusting bouncers. I saw a many men fighting on the dance floor and some bouncers just walked away from the floor to the outside area, leaving the floor unattended, even saw some girls nearly getting knocked in the face by the drunk guys fighting as they were cornered against a wall. Just a very unsafe environment with a bunch of old men in the clubs during student nights. Such a shame this place had so much potential and it’s overall just a letdown.

RESTRICTED VIEWING WARNING ⚠️ Hamish hawk gig was fantastic. If your disabled or require a chair you see nothing but bums and heads. Absolutely crammed in at a risk of danger if required to escape in an emergency. Why have 8 large pillars also to negotiate ? Never be back !! The picture attached is well before it got busy.

Brilliant wee venue for a attending a gig. Nice and intimate. Also had 0.5% beer on draft which is fabulous.

I've been to many different events at the lemon tree over the years, and it's always been a great venue, especially for live music. Kids over 14 can come along too, which suits me. But the last gig I went to - hell's bells AC/DC tribute - had me scratching my head. For some reason, there now seems to be a queueing system for the bar, albeit a haphazard one. This led, during the support act, to a row of people lined up right across the front of the stage. We know how bars work, and this is not it. Great venue all the same.

Great venue for live bands, been here several times now and had a brilliant night. Went to see Limehouse Lizzy 11 Oct 2024 they were absolutely amazing, fantastic atmosphere. Can't wait for there return. Next up gigs here I can't wait for is Pork Pie and Gun.

Such a good small venue. Staff were all excellent, beavering away making sure coats were looked after, door was manned with security, loos clean and bar was well staffed. We hung about and couldn't believe how quick they all cleared the mess... Well done staff team!! Small room for the actual concert, it's my fav venue by far for an intimate gig. Newtown Faulkner was awesome as always!! Loved Daisy Veacock also👌 top gig. Drink were fine priced, £6 beer, £6 can and rum..

Brilliant venue for gigs and events with big names. Craig Charles with his Soul and Funk nights, and the Doors Tribute band who are eerily like the real thing. Many big names and acts have started off here, including music acts and comedians. They also do lovely little Operas and Theatre for children, to get them used to culture and music. Always beautifully done, and very reasonably priced. You can also get a Play, a Pint and a Pie for a reasonable price. There's a bar, but it's only open when there's an event on. And I love it just the way it is.

We ordered drinks and a mixed platter for two. Amazing ! Lovely choice of cheese, breads , cold meats and pickles. Our server Una was superb! So friendly and accommodating. It was a busy night but a grt atmosphere. We are regulars and the staff are always amazing. Thankyou so much for another great experience.

The bartender guy is extremely rude, i was paying with my card and he just left me there, did not hand me my drink neither did he say anything, just left without a single word. Went here tonight as i was recommended by some of the aberdeen locals was literally charged full price £7pp for 2 me and my partner got got there at 1.45 and literally got our drinks and was told the club was closing at 2 because there wasn't enough people in when this club should close at 3! Spoke too the ginger manager as they call him 😂😂 about a refund because that is literally a rip off! £15 for 15 mins! I don't think so that ladd is a proper wrong one looks like he's 15 years old absaloutly shocking do not go to this club the drink is over priced aswell. To the idiot, Derek, and the other guy: The one night in question was for 18 - 25 year olds / Students. Unless you fall into either category, you won’t get in. The bouncers are there to keep people safe. The dude paying by card, you were in one room. There are 3 rooms. Don’t generalise the music of the entire place based on your experience in one room. Such an exaggerated story about the barman walking away too.

Only good if you're basic . It was cheap before it got renovated and it's still cheap now. If I hear them play cotton eyed joe one more time I will shoot myself. If it goes under because of covid, I honestly think it would benefit society more than Boris Johnson not being re elected as PM.

Club was alright, ruined by horrendous coat queuing system. I get it a lot of people takes time, but not over an hour when you left early to ensure you got your coat. Of your charging two quid for a coat, pay some staff.

WHAT IS IT A joke after 80000 spent on doing it up are they trying to use the club as a TAX right off or are they just trying to get all the young folk drunk ????? so why spend all the money on doing it up ?????? as if your over 25 you WON"T GET IN so they"ll take years and years to rake the money spent on it back if there LUCKY so don"t go to the atik club if your over 25

I really enjoyed my visit to the museum. It was a great way to learn about not only maritime facts such as oil rigs and ships but also Aberdeen history. All the displays were done with great care and the exhibitions were very informative. The view to the port was also splendid and the gift shop selection was nice.

An excellent experience. An easy walk from the Railway Station. This museum is free, but you can donate by card or cash. Very friendly staff and an amazing space over five floors and three buildings. The museum features the maritime history of the area as well as the oil and gas industry. It also features exhibits on occasion. A reasonably priced gift shop featuring local souvenirs. I would visit here if you have an interest in maritime history, but is interesting for those who aren't.

Lovely museum, lovely architecture. The cherry on the cake was the free guided tour tough, offered by knowledgeable and utmost kind Robert who made it special by picking a particular parts and making his lecture around these. Learned a lot and in a very friendly atmosphere, many thanks!!

A visit worth taking while in Aberdeen (or if residing here). Deployed in 4 floors, illustrates the history of Aberdeen shipbuilding and UK offshore drilling off Scotland coast. The abundance of wood all around creates a really cozy environment. Allow >1 hour to tour as it’s really interesting.

Free to enter and explore. A well maintained museum. Plenty of stuff to see and learn about. Don’t forget to take a copy of ‘things to do on your visit’. It’s a fun activity to do with kids/family.

Lovely area, a good way to undertake the deep history of Aberdeen trading and oil exploration, week preserved pieces of history, kept in good viewing condition, a good place for visitors on sightseeing and exploratory training.

Food was delicious. We got the sharing platter for £50 which came with two regular sides, which was more than enough food for two. Really flavourful and perfectly cooked. Only complaint is that there aren’t many vegetable options for the sides - only coleslaw, green beans or buttered corn. I think likely just bad luck though, as I don’t like any of those! Would definitely return.

Had a great experience here whilst up in Aberdeen for a business trip. Maggie’s Grill was recommended by a colleague and it did not disappoint. Service was great and super quick with the food. I had nachos and the ribs and both were very good. The ribs just fell off the bone and were really tender and tasty. Will definitely be coming back when I come back to Aberdeen.

The restaurant was okay overall. I enjoyed the Texas fried chicken, but the coleslaw was stale, and the cornbread didn't taste good and we requested to bring something special for my birthday. Still, unfortunately, they don't do anything but for the dessert, my shortcake was lacking because it had too much cream that made me feel a little nauseated and the strawberry sauce on top was a little too sour but the ice cream on the side was nice. But the Service wasn't that good, especially for the 30-minute wait We asked for a jug of water twice before receiving it, and the atmosphere was JUST to my liking.

Wandering round town looking for lunch. Walked into Maggie's New Orleans style cafe Chose the sausage and chicken gumbo and a cup of tea and a bottle of sparkling water. Place is bright and clean and airy. Lots of windows. Waitresses were friendly. Food was disappointing.Gumbo is supposed to be like stew. Their gumbo is like soup with rice and sausages and chicken floating in it I would have preferred more rice and a thicker sauce and less chilli Not sure why a slice of fruit cake was added Presentation was nice Blues music added atmosphere Maggie's is near Bar None and Mackies Ice Cream Parlour Paid £15 for gumbo a pot of tea and a sparkling water

Had higher expectations for this place especially for the grilled bbq beef and brisket, but i was told they stopped serving beef and brisket meals, i tried hot honey pulled chicken, 7 cheese mac and cheese, smoked wings, chicken tenders, food was pretty average, bbq sauce and wings were the best, overall the food is ok but overpriced compared to the quality.

Cannot recommend it highly enough. What an incredibly warm welcome, which continued, (I also quickly visited the cafe, where i had a tasty but generous slice of cake) I met some museum managers as I explored, we chatted about the events and history, was even offered a Christmas chocolate by staff as I left. Lots of history, but the visit made by the people. The museum used the last few years wisely, the presentation of the galleries is great, easy to read interpretation, with clear font, graphics and nicely laid out cabinets. It feels updated and modern, yet has lots on display to appeal to history lovers. Also great if you like swords and silverware.

Superb museum of military history. Stunning displays and a vast amount of knowledge from the guides. I thoroughly recommend a visit here. The collections they have are amazing.

I had an amazing visit to the Gordon Highlanders Museum. The exhibits are beautifully detailed, and the World War One-style trench is both immersive and moving. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable—special thanks to the former Gordon Highlander who took the time to walk me through the displays and share fascinating stories. A truly memorable and educational experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Aberdeen!

A wonderful museum with an impressive collection. The building itself is pretty and has all the modern amenities which allow comfortable experience for guests of every age/ability. There's a lot to see inside, but it's not overdone. All exhibition rooms are well-designed and very aesthetic. There are also some interactive elements. I have to say you don't need to be a military freak to enjoy this. A lot of stuff like the silverware collection or little bits and pieces of soldiers' equipment can be interesting to everyone. I however am a freak so I especially enjoyed the weapons collection, medals from many different campaigns and of course the famous WW1 trench which is located on the outside. Sadly it was raining when I visited so I didn't take pictures, but on the other hand it only added to the experience. Hats off to the folks who designed and built it, it's a work of art. There was a young guide with us, who was super-passionate about WW1 and had a great storytelling talent. For more sensitive audience and kids this may be a slightly heavy topic, so keep that in mind. All in all, one of Aberdeen's top attractions. A definite must-see.

Very nice place, good food and nice people but in my opinion prices were a bit to high for both portions and taste. Crispy squid was 10/10 but two other dishes I tried were just fine - especially dumplings, imo a bit undercooked. Steak was also delicious 8/10.

Nice food, nice live music but lazy waiters, waited a very long time to get our beer to the table while they were not serving anyone but laughing behind the counter chatting to eachother. Kitchen was closed 30 minutes before the time declared on maps, which ended up with us getting a refund on a order we placed. That's very sad.

Advertised Hazyday and a free sample and on the sign said 1/3 sample. Though we were charged for this sample. When questioned we were told upper management made the decision to not actually give out free samples and charge customers. Another customer asked what we were drinking and and we told them about the situation where you are actually charged for a free pint. Member of staff then piped up and claimed that you do actually get a free taster and that they didn’t make the sign. Pretty poor to claim to offer a 1/3 pint taster then actually charge for it

We visited this beautiful, traditional Scottish bar and were impressed by both the atmosphere and the service. We would love to come back :-) The waitress named Anja was absolutely fantastic: very friendly and polite, super personable. She also speaks very good German, so German tourists who don't speak English are in very good hands there. @Bar manager: please don't forget the promised pay rise for Anja! (financial language allowance) :-)

First time in Aberdeen and was fully impressed with the asthetic of the bar and the staffs overall service. The gentleman with the long black hair Victor I believe was his name. He was very helpful with service of food and drinks and with advice on the city.

Duthie Park Winter Gardens is such a unique and beautiful spot for a wedding! Lush greenery, vibrant blooms, and the most gorgeous natural light—it’s like stepping into a little tropical paradise in the heart of Aberdeen. The atmosphere is so relaxed and romantic, making it the perfect backdrop for capturing love stories. Easily one of my favourite spots to photograph, and it never disappoints!

I have never been to Duthie Park despite going to school in Bridge of Don and visiting family in the city over the years. I forgot there is a winter garden and I was impressed by how lovely it was. Enjoyed the cafe too - great coffee and lovely cakes

It is a vibrant and beautifully landscaped park. It has iconic David Welch Winter Gardens. With a playground, boating pond, and scenic walking paths, it’s perfect for families and nature lovers alike.

Wow ! what a lovely park with so many attractions, including an amazing indoor plant area with a massive selection of erotic species. In the Winter Gardens. Boating lakes, ornamental lakes, childrens playground and a lovely cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of seating in the David Welch Winter Gardens to sit and relax, admiring all the amazing plants. Not a very big car park but it was free on the Sunday we went.

We took 2 courses for 66£, we went here due to Google reviews. The dishes are good but the quantities are clearly worth reviewing for the price! we have done several restaurants in Scotland, and this one has cost us much more than on Skye (yet touristy and was an excellent restaurant with local meat like you). We had finished our dishes but we were still hungry, for this price... in short we did not want to be disappointed with desserts that will serve to satisfy our hunger for a price not in line with the portion. The kitchen is good, but if you want to be full, it's not the right place (or starter, main course, dessert)

This was the first restaurant I visited during my stay in Scotland, and it couldn’t have been a better start. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The waiter’s service stood out. Dany was genuinely kind, attentive, and always made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. We decided to return the next day without a booking, and she made the impossible to get us a table. I left with a smile and would definitely come back if I have the chance. Highly recommended! ¡Muchas gracias Dany!

A great place for food and drinks in Aberdeen. Friendly staff and great service. The ambiance is really good. The only small thing is that it was a bit noisy but hey it's great to see places busy and filled with people.

I was taken for Lunch on the 9th of October, which was my birthday. The young lady who served us was attentive Smiley but unobtrusive -Excellent. We both had fillet steak. I had Parmesan French fries as a side. Both our steaks were superb. Apart from one other in the Hilton in Perth, Australia, this steak was the best quality best cook steak I have ever tasted. My husband was a similar We both had crème Caramel as a desert - Lovely The dining room was quiet, so the atmosphere was subdued which suited us. I have difficulty in finding fault - Most unlike me Highly recommended based on this experience

Lovely service. However the roast is below average, pork was dry, roast potatoes and vegetables soft and wet, gravy consistency of water and yorkshire burnt black. Half of our table had the roast and all had the same issues, the others had from the main menu which seemed to be considerably better apart from the corner of black mouldy lettuce in the burger.

Nice atmosphere. The Cajun lintel soup was outstanding as was the chicken and haggis pie. The burger was just OK. I’d suggest toasting the bun, and offering to cook the patty less than well done. Otherwise very nice place

Absolutely amazing. Came in for Sunday lunch. Fantastic atmosphere and our server, Erin, was awesome!! Plus dessert was out of this world!

Decent food. I had cauliflower for starters, bacon and blue cheese beef burger for main and sticky toffee pudding. Pudding was great, cauliflower was really good. Burger was fine. Seem to have good selection of drinks. I was on non alcoholic drinks. Staff very friendly

An unassuming place, which I like, a bit of a pub style. That being said, excellent cocktails and food. Some of the best I've had in Aberdeen. Good deals as well, like their midweek Margarita club at £7. And their Sunday roast, 2 + a bottle of red for £45, is a solid value. The staff is helpful with suggestions and lovely. Visiting from Texas, the Scottish mussels were great as well as the lentil soup and the garlic mushroom creme fresh on sourdough. Only caveat is that the kitchen closes at 9pm. But that's pretty normal for the area. Also, great music and atmosphere. Most people that came in were chatty and enjoying their time.

We walked in on a Tuesday night when the place was nearly empty without a booking, only to be told (kind of rudely) that they were fully booked that night. Alright, that’s fine, we then made a booking for Wednesday for dinner, lo and behold they were completely unbooked, and got seated fairly quickly. We then waited almost an hour for our one appetizer, mussels, which were enormous. For those unaware, typically the smaller mussels have a much better flavour. They were also in this weird super thick cream sauce and were just generally low quality. We then waited almost another 40 minutes for our mains, which were utterly disappointing. My mother’s was the wrong dish entirely (thankfully this was corrected fast). The risotto was essentially just normal rice that had been absolutely smothered in black pepper to the point that it was the only identifiable flavour, and the ribeye steak on top was grey and had no char or flavour. The nachos were soggy almost immediately and the cheese wasn’t very melted. The salmon prawn salad was alright, but was mostly salmon and not enough greens. The burger and chips were actually great, no complaints there, which is the only reason they get 2 stars for food lol. Overall, a wholly disappointing experience, from the wait staff to the kitchen times to the food. Would not recommend.

Made a booking for 1730 for 1.5 hours for food and drinks. The place is a ver nice atmosphere and great food. I had the salmon and prawn risotto, wife just ended up with an appetizer of nachos with cajun chicken, and my kid had a half portion of fish and chips as no actual kids menu, but will tailor a portion size for a child and charge a price for that portion which is very appreciated. My wife said the nachos were some of the best she has had, which is not what you'd expect to find in Scotland. They had lots of cheese and looked very good. The risotto was very good and was one of the several gluten free options on menu. The fish and chips for a half portion was still huge and looked very good. They also had a good drinks menu with some very nice scotches. Highly recommend if stop in Aberdeen or passing through and needing something to eat.

Disappointed with the Guinness pour Visited recently and was really let down by how my pint of Guinness was served. It was poured all in one go without letting it settle — completely missing the two-part pour that gives Guinness its signature texture and head. As someone who appreciates a proper pint, it was a shame to see the staff not trained on something so basic. A bit of staff training on how to serve Guinness correctly would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

I came here as part of a hen group, and we wound up spending our whole evening here. The staff and atmosphere were amazing and we couldn't have asked for more. The Hen had a fabulous time (as did her entourage). The manager made us feel very welcome. Thank you for a great and memorable night.

We had an amazing experience there taking some drinks and talking to Tony and Ronaldo. They were very kind people and we really enjoy our night there. Definitivly the place to go get a drink in Aberdeen :)

Not brilliant, but not terrible either. A little overpriced. Coffee itself was pretty poor, not much flavour, but serving it with a block of tablet was a nice touch. I had the bagel and soup. Soup (red pepper) was a bit watery but had decent flavour. The bagel was served warm and the pastrami pickle mustard combo held up well - but it all seemed like supermarket ingredients that I wasn't too impressed paying £7.50 for. The staff were nice enough though and it was a good relaxing place for a bite and a sit down.

I absolutley loved this little cafe. It is so close to our office in Aberdeen and when I visit Aberdeen next I will be sure to go here for lunch! The smoothy was amazing and just what I needed on a really hot day. The Panini was super tasty with a good amount of filling and not over priced, and lastly the Malteser bar was too die for ... Staff were so friendly and helpful when I went in to order. I was however lucky to get a seat because it was so busy. It might just be a good idea to avoid prime time ... I highly recommend!

Loved my panini for lunch today followed by ice cream with little bag of yummy toppings. It was so nice and warm today I decided to sit outside on the patio. Very comfy chairs and outside bin to put all of my rubbish in to keep my table clear. Enjoyed my visit very much and next time I think I might have one of their yummy looking cakes!!🙂🙂

Great experience, what a wonderful way to celebrate the great citizens of Aberdeen and the locality. I found their stories, their artifacts and the building fascinating. I wasn't sure the Hall of Heroes at the start works at all, so skip through that and the rest is worthwhile. Probably an hour to go round but could spend more time engaging and reading everything.

According to the staff inside, this used to be a 'dressed' house with furniture and fittings to suit the history of the place. Now it hosts a modern exhibition showcasing the achievements of famous people from Aberdeen over time. The information and supporting exhibits is interesting stuff, with interactive elements for the younger audience. There is a fantastic painted ceiling in one room. I think the size of the place could accommodate some old (which I think people would be expecting) and the new, as there is too much to take in in one visit. It is free to enter, which to an English visitor is a really pleasant surprise!

Didn’t get the chance to pop in but from the outside it looks well worth it. Gorgeous building and surroundings. Open Thursday to Monday from April to October .

A beautiful building with an excellent museum - which was free to enter. Lots of interactive elements which makes all aspects of the museum brilliant for children and families. There are lots of floors with really interesting information. Make sure to check out the room with the beautiful catholic paintings - a definite highlight for us! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Free entry, two-for-one exhibit: historic home AND lots of information about the people of Aberdeen who have significantly impacted the world. Some exhibits are interactive. Stairs between floors. Each room contains a different exhibit. In the “painted gallery” use the provided magnifying mirrors to view the paintings better. There are seats to make this easier/ safer. Also provided: map of descriptions of the paintings. Some exhibits have activities suitable for children (& enjoyable for adults)

Absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend everyone visits for the "painted gallery" alone. The staff were absolutely lovely, the exhibits were really interesting, and I left feeling like I'd had a really fulfilling day! It's free to enter, and it kept my occupied for about 2/3 hours, so it would be a nice day out alone or with friends to learn more about Aberdeens history. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous to look at too! The spiral stairs are a bit scary, and it doesn't have disabled access, but there is a little bit where you can sit and look through all the exhibits on a screen, so although it's not ideal, considering it's an old building and they can't install a lift, I think they did a nice job of being inclusive.

Great bar. Dan the bartender was excellent in sugesting whiskys to me. He was very helpful. One needs a good guide like him to show you the good stuff. Only got there twice but will be back every time I am in town. Great selection of good whiskys.

Brilliant bar. Loads of awesome ales. Hundreds of awesome whiskys and brilliant staff. If you smoke they also have what a dedicated temperature controlled and dehumidified cigar room.

Big fan of this place. It's in a basement down a granite street by the bus station and has a huge range of beer available, but the big draw is the whisky range which is massive. Staff know a lot about the drink on offer which is always nice to see and are friendly. There's a whisky list on their website to look at as there's no printed one. They also do cigars if that's your thing!

Excellent fare. Good choice of beer, my choice and wine selection very good. Staff attentive and eager to please. Must be, as this is our 3rd time of visiting.

Knowledgeable and very friendly staff made our visit a pleasure. The manager helped with all our purchases (scotch, coffee, cigars) with patience and a sense of humor. Great selection and wonderful service. Highly recommended the siphon coffee!

Stopped in for a pint and a ploughman's, they were out of brie (disaster) but just happily replaced it with more of the other cheeses. Absolutely magic. Very friendly and accommodating staff, and excellent selection of drinks on tap. Will be back next time I'm in Aberdeen.

I visited here for the Beluga Lagoon gig and what a fantastic venue. Beautiful looking from the outside it's an absolutely remarkable looking building. However as we queued to enter a few people decided they were not happy with the size of the queue and went to the other side and started a separate smaller queue. Surely a barrier to say queue from one side would be the best thing. Once inside we were really impressed with the acoustics, and the size of the hall. The toilets were well looked after. One issue though was the bar, definitely not enough staff on as queues were massive. A brilliant venue, and with some tweaks could definitely be a 5 star place.

One of the bigger theatres, nice and open, and the staff are top notch. Truckers: go up the side road and park with your back doors to the building around the rear. You'll need to drive up a small kerb but it's all doable.

Great venue. Decent sound and nice drinks. Bar and toilet queues not terrible. Seats and standing are good.

Very good venue. Cleanest venue I have ever been to. Seat was on Balcony row K the furthest seats from the stage the view was still great. Toilets and pop up bar nearby no Queues.

Beautifully restored building. Great place for concerts. Much nicer than going to new event spaces. Friendly staff, cafe, bar and great choice of entertainment. Acoustics are good and the main hall is stunning. Seated and non seated events. Option to pre order drinks during concerts.

I had the opportunity last night on behalf of Aberdeen North Food Bank to raise funds for a worthy cause. At the same time SQUEEZE was playing and I am a huge fan. So it worked out quite well in that way. The venue is awesome, the staff are very professional and friendly. And the band, well let’s just say it was a blast. Thank you to everyone and for the support!

Nice and welcoming cellar pub with excellent service and a fine choice of beers. Really a place to go. Just the food was a bit ordinary; definitely not bad and in fact tasty, though it did taste like it was delivered by a "pub food service"

Upon walking in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, Quinn who was behind the bar asked if we were in for food or drinks, upon my response of food, they said just to sit anywhere we would like and would pop over to take our orders. The service and friendliness that was given was absolutely warm and perfectly polite, gave us adequate time for deciding on drinks and then again for food. Food was absolutely delicious, superb amount and presented gorgeously. Would highly recommend if want a nice quiet drink and something lovely to drink, or something to eat from the perfect sized menu.

I came in to have dinner with my daughter, and I have to say that my experience was one to be remembered. The food was next level and the fish was definitely fresh, you can tell they have sourced it from somewhere decent, I know as I do a lot of cooking myself. The service was fantastic as we were served quickly with a friendly atmosphere and a really good vibe from the staff. They all have fantastic people skills, one person that went above and beyond was keneshia I believe her name was. She was bubbly, polite and very easy to speak to, I believe with her professionalism and the way she is around others, making you feel safe and accepted, this is a gift, if I ran that place I'd be inclined to offer her a promotion because people with that kind of skills around others are quite hard to come across. I left there feeling happy and full up, this kind of positivity set me up for a really good night, thank you very much guys, I will definitely be returning here and I will be recommending it to my friends!

Visiting Aberdeen and went here twice. Great atmosphere but more importantly great service from the staff. We had food and we all hear “it’s just pub food” but trust me it’s more than that. Clearly the chefs make full effort on every dish. Very impressed with the whole set up, can’t fault it. The lad we had serving our table on 23/12/2024 was so pleasant, accommodating and cheery. Looking forward to going back 👍

Sunday roast was sold out (~12:30pm) so must be popular. The haddock and chips was great. Excellent staff and really nice chilled atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon.

Had late lunch here & was very impressed with the food & service. I had a starter of loaded nachos which was plentiful & tasty, & certainly ample for a main course. My companions enjoyed their meals too, & actually took away a good portion of prawn poppers -- or whatever they were called -- as a takeaway. Staff were very helpful & courteous. Will definitely be going again.

Called in early on Saturday to get the afc collab cans for display in my pub. Ended up staying for a pint and a chat with the staff and ended up adding to my glass collection after my wife smashed my fierce cerveza glass which was my favourite. Great selection on tap with lots of variety to suit everyone's tastes from lager to ipa's to stout they've got you covered. Can't wait to return on my next visit to the granite city.

Our favourite bar and brewery in Aberdeen! Excellent craft beer and they stock some fantastic guest beers too, which are rotated often enough. They also do a 10% student discount.

I had a brilliant time bowling with friends! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, plus the place was really clean and comfy. We only had an hour, so we didn't get to try all the games, but the snooker tables were a highlight. Can't wait to come back and explore more! Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently visited and had an absolute blast! It's honestly the nicest non-alcohol focused spot I've been to—no loud pubs or crazy clubs here, just a chilled vibe perfect for fun with friends. The gaming experience was ace, and I can’t believe I hadn't been before. Aslak was super helpful, making the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back soon!

Had a lovely bacon and cheese toastie whilst I was here and a coffee, the toastie was amazing - stuffed thick with bacon and top quality cheese and brown sauce to finish it off. The colour was lovely and very nicely grilled! I’m not one to wait so ended up scalding the roof of my mouth! 😩😩😆 staff here are extremely nice and look very smart and professional.

This place is the pits. I spent a lot of money in the slot machines whilst having a little break with my sister. I was ready to leave for my bus home to perth this morning. Tried to cash in my meagre winnings. The cash desk had a note on saying back in 20 minutes. The do it yourself cash dispenser had no paper in it so the member of staff just walked off and left me standing there. So had to leave for my bus with a voucher in my pocket. So let's hope I'm back before that runs out. There's always a pleasant cheerful person on the desk upon arrival but that's it as far as helpful friendly staff go in this place. Nobody asked if we would like a coffee at all this morning.

Popped into Grosvenor Aberdeen during the TS Races and accidentally spent the whole evening there - oops! Great drinks, blackjack and fun roulette, and super friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Only wish we could take a quick photo of our wins at the tables (not just interior ) - would make the memories even better! 😉We’ll definitely be back!

Regular player at poker and roulette friendly staff. However, poor menu. Little choice. Played big game tournament Friday Saturday Sunday a buffet, I laugh, doorstep thick ham sandwiches and nothing else.. Compare to " other" casino in town free breakfast style buffet regularly on a Tues night for ALL. Needs to pull socks up to the top of Stockings

Vastly disappointed at the presentation of their 5 bean chilli that was missing the advertised nachos and sour cream. It was a tad bland so definitely not a recommendation at £12.95.

Told 3 different security guards multiple times about a guy who kept harassing our group of all girls. They kept brushing it off saying they would keep an eye on him. He wasn't being served alcohol any longer, he was that bad. We left early because nothing was being done so they lost out on probably another hour of drinks for 10 people. Not good enough.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Worst club I’ve ever been to. The security staff at the front door are some of the most horrible people you will ever meet. Quite a shock compared to the staff at ATIK and other night clubs where the bouncers are friendly and welcoming. They try and pack as many people as possible in and some nights you can barely move. Avoid at all costs!!

Quite expensive, posh- like place. I did not like the music at all, the DJ must have been retarded our something cutting songs after thirty seconds, not choosing really good dancing music. I Did not get into the mood, really. It was too crowded, so people kept spilling theirs drinks. Did not enjoy

I paid £8.60 for a double vodka coke. Obviously, i wasn't too happy, so I asked a different bartender if that was the correct price. 2 of them checked the till, and came back to me saying that it should have been £10.10. If you go here, don't buy the drinks.

Horrible place, me and my friend came here last night and i got questioned and made to feel uncomfortable, the bouncers were so rude we couldn’t even go to the toilet without getting asked where we were going. £8 to get in and drinks were very pricey. Avoid

Thursdays here are pretty decent and would say it's the best Aberdeen has to offer on a thursday night, otherwise only go on Saturdays if you have money. The prices here are disgusting on weekends and the rest of the time it's empty.

If I can give 0 stars I would. Management unresponsible. Was through out of the club with no chance to take my jacket or bag.. reason never explained. Had one drink, not been drunk or anything, just spoke with a manager about new year night. Horrible servise from the supervisees to security who's kicked me out on a street in cold weather without jacket and my belongings

Security guys will be disrespectful if u go there. Cocky security guys, they didn’t let my friend in just because he had some extra drinks the week before. They told my friend that he’s not allowed there anymore. I hoped it was better than that since it the only LGBTQ bar in the city. I wont go there and i dont recommend it.

Went there on a Saturday night, crowd started to pour in around 11pm. Mostly hen and a handful of LGBTQ+, no problem getting a drink at the bar just have to be patient on a busy night. My partner have decided to stay for 2 more drinks because the music was so good. Lovely and fun crowd. Not sure about the toilet attendant in the toilet.

Disappointing Stay Despite Some Smart Features Short: This place could be decent with some serious attention to cleaning, maintenance, and guest comfort. Unfortunately, our experience felt more like staying in an overlooked student flat than a proper serviced apartment. Would not recommend unless management makes significant improvements. FULL REVIEW: I stayed at CHEERZ Apartment with my girlfriend for a short trip, and while the apartment had some positives, the overall experience was unfortunately let down by very poor cleanliness and maintenance. Positives: Convenient Location: Very close to the train station, which made it easy to get around. Modern Touches: Philips Hue smart lighting and smart key cards for room access were a nice tech-savvy touch. TV and Space: The room was a decent size with a functional TV. Renovated Kitchen: Looked fairly modern and had potential if better maintained. Negatives: Cleaning Was a Major Issue: The bathroom and room were dirty on arrival. We found used plasters, hair, and overflowing rubbish bins in the bathroom, including menstruation products—completely unacceptable. Unclean Environment: Edges of the room hadn’t been cleaned in a long time—we ended up vacuuming ourselves. The staircase had visible food scraps and dirt. Lack of Kitchen Essentials: There were no bowls and generally not enough cooking/eating equipment. The kitchen floor was cluttered with cleaning supplies that made it hard to move around. Broken or Faulty Fixtures: The window didn’t open at all, and the blinds were broken—either stuck or not fully closing. Noisy Surroundings: The bar directly underneath was constantly loud, especially at night, which made it hard to sleep. Shabby Area: The neighborhood didn’t feel particularly safe or welcoming.
