Chinese restaurant
Manchurian is a relaxed eatery that offers traditional and authentic Chinese cuisine, including Cantonese specials and dim sum. Their specialty lies in crafting delectable dumplings, crispy fried squid, spare ribs in black bean sauce, and char siu buns filled with sweet pork. They also serve traditional dishes like seasonal fish steamed with garlic and coriander. Located near the university campus, it's a convenient 10-minute walk from there.
Celebrated our Chinese new year dinner here . All the dishes we ordered were delicious and authentic. Staffs are very efficient and friendly.

Delicious food - best Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen! Quick service and fair pricing for the size of portions. Highly recommended!
Catalin B — Google review
Family meal before leaving the next day. Food was good. Only one issue I found was the duck - too much soy sauce added. The duck was tasty enough so no need to add so much soy sauce to it. All other dishes were very good.
Mikey C — Google review
Loved the shredded crispy chilli chicken!! Great authentic Chinese food at decent prices 👌
Karthik S — Google review
Not been here for a very long time but always wanted to come back and again, it didn't disappoint! Food served quickly, good tasting, big portions. The jasmine tea complimented the food. Its a big pot good for 2 or 3 people for £3, so just order 1 if it's just the two of you. We went for the sharing starter and for mains egg fried rice, garlic chicken and beef brisket curry (could only finish half so this was a takeaway dinner for me). Fabulous food. Would love to be back again. My only critic is the table cover. It used to be better looking, this time it's just a square piece of paper. It just doesn't look as nice. They had proper table cover before with the paper cover on top.
Grace D — Google review
We had a lunch there. Staff are very nice n friendly. The quality of dim sum is ok but the fried satay noodle and the radish cake are just so so.
Ang C — Google review
Quiet place for dinner. Prompt service and courteous staffs too. Very tasty food, not too pricey. Would visit again
Cynthia T — Google review
The food portions we're large and great value for money! The food was fresh and super tasty! We ordered the salted egg fried pork with rice, the roasted pork and duck as well as the prawn egg noodles. We also ordered Chinese tea (pu erh). Definitely miss Chinese cooking and this is one of the best in Aberdeen! I was also there again during the Chinese New Year's and had quite a few course meals. All were delicious! The restaurant was warm and cosy. Very welcoming. The staff were lovely although they seemed quite busy back in the kitchen so it's difficult to get a hold of them. But nonetheless, a great restaurant for Chinese food!

Thai restaurant
Cafe
Madame Mew's is a vibrant Thai eatery that has found a new home on Summer Street after the closure of Aberdeen Market. The 70-seater restaurant offers classic Thai dishes, from soups to curries and noodle dishes. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Mew Garthley and her team have managed to expand their customer base and continue serving authentic Thai cuisine.
Great food and nice service staff. Chicken satay, almond chicken starters, thai green and red curries, jasmine sticky rice are some recommendations. Would advise to book table in advance especially on weekends. Prices are average and not too expensive considering the great tasting food. Place and ambiance is cool.
Naitikkumar P — Google review
I’d heard a lot about Madame Mews and how it’s considered the go to Thai restaurant in Aberdeen, and honestly it didn’t disappoint. While it’s not the best Thai food I’ve ever had, it’s a very close second and certainly one of the most authentic spots I’ve been to in the UK. The Pad Thai was absolutely epic, full of flavour with the right balance of sweet, savoury and nutty, and the portion could easily feed two. In fact, all the portions were huge, and for the price, it’s excellent value for money. The staff were really polite and attentive, and the place itself has a colourful, vibrant atmosphere that feels genuinely Thai from the decor alone. There was no music playing, which was a bit of a shame as some ambient Thai music would have really added to the experience. It's definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in Aberdeen and craving proper Thai food.
Bob J — Google review
The most delicious Thai food in Aberdeen. The food portion size is reasonable for the price. I ordered Yum wan sean (Glass noodle spicy salad with seafood) and got a lot of shrimp and squid. Can eat shrimp without peeling it. The Pow Pia Phak Tod (deep fried vegetables spring rolls) were fried to perfect crispiness. If you go to Aberdeen, must try.
Sarocha K — Google review
Food was just like what I had in Bangkok's food courts, which I believe is milder compared to street food. Portions are big for the price. I gave four stars to the atmosphere I could hear loud music from the kitchen all the time when I was there while the hall of the restaurant had its own music playing. And the staff were sorting cutlery in the hall most of the time, so there was that sound as well. Did not affect me much, but it could be better.
Pyae W — Google review
Had dinner and lunch several times there. Very authentic Thai foods with large portions! Love their Pad Thai, Kway Teow and fried rice!
Rita N — Google review
Had dinner here with my family of four. Food was good and portions were big. They gave complimentary prawn crackers for starters. The Tom Yum had a lot of chicken pieces and wasn't spicy. The beef noodles had very tender meat. Two of us shared the Larp Moo(which was spicy) and the green curry. The rice came in a cute butterfly shape. Overall, good experience, finished all the food. Will come back again!
Lora T — Google review
Excellent quantity in food. You won't leave here hungry. Their special drink is must try.
Agnes Y — Google review
Restaurant lights were quite dimmed. Was recommended here by a friend who studied in university. Price of food is moderate and averaged 18-20 pounds per person for starter and main dish with no drinks. Food is decent I would say. We ordered the Tom yum, Pad Thai and Green curry to share. Would rate the food around 6/10. However, portions were very generous. Staff is also nice and welcoming

This place is amazing the food is just classic Italian food if Ur looking for a Italian I would suggest this place price for dinner and the taste of the food definitely will be back to this place when I'm in Aberdeen again

Lots of positive things to say: 1. The restaurant indoors is lovely. 2. Food was really nice. 3. Some servers were really kind and prompt even in a busy time period. Great job! However, on one occasion the owner was a bit inconsiderate of us. Probably just a one off. At times it seemed like the owner was rude to other staff members, which may not be a healthy way to build a positive environment/ dining experience. The owner should build trust with his staff more - and empower them to run the show. I know they can manage it! And if you direct them with a smile, it indicates that you are not angry with them.
Eugene Y — Google review
I visited this restaurant recently and was very disappointed with the food. The pasta was badly cooked and had no real taste, which made the meal quite unpleasant. Considering the price, I expected much better quality. The atmosphere was fine, but the food was below standard. I hope the restaurant improves its cooking, especially for simple dishes like pasta.
Bistra N — Google review
Lovely little restaurant with friendly, attentive staff who dont overcrowd you while eating. Th service was quick and the food was very good. It's not the cheapest place but also not to expensive and for the price the food was amazingly tasty and lovely and fresh

Very welcoming hosts. Delicious food and excellent atmosphere. Attentive service ensured we were at the theatre in plenty of time, too.

Lovely place with lovely staff. We came for a dinner and were pretty hungry so we went for pizzas. Unfortunately the sizes we got were very disappointing. The pizza dough was quite salty too.
Dr G — Google review
It's been quite a few years since last in Poldino's and we'll be back quicker next time. The staff were both friendly and very professional We had starters of Calamari & Homemade chicken liver pate. The Calamari was nice & I would have it again, but the coating was a little soft for me. My partner Had the Paté which was really nice, but she was not impressed with the paper thin flat breads. Crusty bread or toast would have been preferred, but she still enjoyed it. We had a side of BRUSCHETTA which was nice. Mains Were the BISTECCA ALLA GRIGLIA which was Sirloin Steak & Asparagus, 1/2 tomato with Roast Veg & Potatoes. And SALMONE DELLA CASA which was Salmon fillet in a cream, smoked salmon & dill sauce with roat veg & potatoes. The steak was terrific. We both thought the roast Veg of Carrots & Courgette was very nice & they worked well with the steak and also the Salmon dish. We were both full after the 2 courses & we could not manage a Desert so well done for that. Recommended

Family visit in afternoon. We've been here before and enjoyed it then too. Special pricing for your choice of two or three courses from lunch menu (good quality, reduced portion sizes for this menu compared to full price dishes, but just as tasty) . Thanks to the staff of this family run business.

Just because you are alone it give no excuses not to provide good high quality service, staff greeted with rude attitude as if you were not welcome, atmosphere was 5/5 food presentation 7/10 , value for money 3/10. I believe staff can improve with regards to attitude , management can focus bit more on price I know Cambridge is high end but it give no excuse to charge over and beyond the top. Other please keep up good work because I know you can do better with

The food here is wonderful and there are a lot of different options depending on what you feel in the mood for. Our children loved it as well. Each of the servers were incredibly helpful and kind. Unfortunately, we chose a different Italian restaurant to eat at the second night in Aberdeen and Apertivo was far better in service, food quality and price. We all had different dishes and we loved them all. We would definitely eat here again!

Nestled in a charming setting with bay windows and elegant dado panelling, Yorokobi by CJ has been a beloved culinary gem since its inception in 2005. This family-owned restaurant specializes in the vibrant flavors of Japanese and Korean cuisine, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. With an extensive menu that caters to various dietary preferences—including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options—Yorokobi ensures that every guest finds something delightful to savor.
One of the freshest sushi places! Locally sourced, some even were caught that morning! We also had their authentic Korean dishes. Those chicken wings and Teriyaki balls are a must! See our full video review on our experience under The Olive Tree Family on all social media platforms.

Outstanding! I'm not the biggest sushi lover, I'm happy to eat it if that's the choice of the day, but it wouldn't be my preference. However that might change now after a trip to Yorokobi, it's up there as one of the best places to eat in Aberdeen.
Rodger R — Google review
A hidden gem on Huntly street. The best advice is to book your reservation online as the restaurant is small. The staff was as attentive to me as a solo person as a table for 4. The food, amazing. If I come back This will be one of my dinner stops.
Debra A — Google review
Eating here was the best 65£ we spent on our holiday to Aberdeen. The titanic rolls and soft shell crab rolls were particularly good, and the waiters were very friendly and delivered excellent service. I fully intend to come back.
Jérémy R — Google review
Amazing experience from here. We tried their Korean fried chicken, which was the right sauce on top and covered with perfectly cooked chicken inside. Also tried their beef Bulgogi, which was thin slices of beef, marinated in their sauce for 24 hours! Excellent food, friendly staff as well. We will definitely go back to try other food items from their menu ❤️
Agnes Y — Google review
The sushi was absolutely phenomenal, freshly made and great presentation. Hand delivered by the chef himself. Good wine selection and lovely sake. By far the best sushi I've had in the UK. Update: Been here 5 times now. It is by far, some of the best sushi I have had in the UK. Every time I pass by Aberdeen, this place is a must.
Craig R — Google review
Lovely little restaurant on Huntly Street. Unfortunately we book at the same time as a large group so service was slow due to having only 1 sushi chef, but that aside it was worth waiting for. The sushi and maki was first class, and our meal was lovely.
Ian M — Google review
I usually love Yorokobi. Their sushi is absolutely incredible. However, this is my second time being served fish as a vegetarian. Even though I SPECIFICALLY asked for the vegetarian version of a sushi roll. They did remake it but only after I ate a piece, not knowing that they did in fact put fish in it. I was truly upset as I do not eat fish. This is a huge and very upsetting issue for me and probably any other vegetarians visiting. I was very clear on the fact that I'd like the roll to be made vegetarian. I don't think I will be back as this should have never even happened once.

Lived locally all my life and have never visited this restaurant. They had a recent promotion on so we decided to try it out. The location is off the beaten track but what a hidden gem. The food was amazing. So flavoursome and tasty. Spared ribs were generous and meaty, pork belly chilli and basil was 👌 Restaurant was quiet with only a few tables filled. Server was lovely and kindly explained all the dishes. This place did not dissappoint, super friendly staff, definitely recommend and will return

One of the best Asian dinning place in Scotland! Ordered pork skewers, chicken pad Thai, Paneng beef curry with coconut rice and a Tom Yum soup for two people. Overall the food was nice and authentically Thai although the beef was slightly overdone. Highly recommended and worth trying!
Xoxmad — Google review
Service was wonderful with lovely attentive staff, very flexible and understanding with one of our group who wanted things left out of dishes or a different sauce etc, thank you 😊 The atmosphere was good, and the tables were spaced well enough apart to not feel crammed in. The chairs, most (we could see) of which have arms, are not best suited to larger diners such as myself, the arms on the chair were a little tight, I imagine someone bigger than myself may need to request a different chair which could be embarrassing. The food was delicious, I had a seafood dish, where the scallop was unfortunately overcooked, that said, everything else was cooked perfectly, additionally 2 members of our party were vegetarian, there's a very good selection of veggie/vegan dishes available 😊 I would happily recommend this venue to anyone who is in the market for a good Thai restaurant. It's a 4.5/5 from me, would have been 5/5 if that scallop hadn't been overcooked. We will be back in the future 😊

Great authentic Thai restaurant! It wasn't too busy and they seated everyone away from each other so we had a nice dinner without interruption. The service was great and punctual. We had a mix of chicken and seafood dishes to share and everything had great flavor, even the egg noodles and rice.

Bowl of prawn crackers served upon arrival, tasted nice and crispy, not too greasy. We ordered vegetable spring rolls and chicken with peanut butter sauce. For mains, pad Thai chicken and Thai green chicken curry. For dessert, banana fritters with cream and vanilla ice cream. Food was overall great, good size servings.
Beatriz S — Google review
Siam Cottage is a small, cosy Thai restaurant that punches well above its weight. The star of the meal was the Thai green curry – rich, aromatic, and packed full of flavour. Easily one of the best Thai curries I’ve had in the UK – highly recommend getting it if you visit. The Pad Kee Mao seafood was another standout – they were generous with the seafood, including large, juicy king prawns and tender squid, all stir-fried perfectly with flat rice noodles and vegetables. We also tried the Pad Krapow (pork) which came with a satisfying fiery chilli kick – not for the faint-hearted, but full of bold flavour. Portions were generous, service was warm and friendly, and the entire meal felt like a comforting home-cooked treat. A must-visit if you’re in the area and craving authentic Thai cuisine!

Incredible Thai food and great service, friendly and kind staff, and a great atmosphere. The food is excellent, some of the best Thai food I've ever had, and I'm looking forward to returning. 😊

The Thai menu is fairly extensive. Prices are reasonable. The food is freshly cooked, ample portions, and well presented. The staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes on offer. As it was lunchtime the restaurant was not very busy. I'm sure it would be a great deal busier and lively in the evening when booking is definitely required.

We had the Tall ships set 2 course menu which was just £20.00 each. Starters were chicken delight and chicken satay. Both were tasty. Main meals were chicken and cashew nuts and Thai green curry. Both were tasty. Not a big portion of chicken but reasonable given the price. Staff nice and friendly

Juls B — Google review
Back story- I arrived at Aberdeen today feeling under the weather. I immediately went to buy chicken soup and tea. Then I took a nap to hopefully feel better for dinner. When I woke up I did my research and saw that this place had good reviews and the Wong ton soup looked good and since my throat was not feeling the best I decided to walk over and bring food back to my Airbnb. I walk in look at the menu then a waiter comes and asks what I need. I say I wanted food "To go" and he says to me very rudely.. "No food to go, take out!" I smiled and I said sorry, take out. I asked for the bbq short ribs, the Wong ton soup and a yellow chicken curry. Then he asked if I wanted rice with the curry.. and rudely said "because you need a side of rice, you eat that with rice" as if I was dumb and didn't know. I smiled and said, Yes, rice please. He walked to the register, asked if it was going to be cash, I said no credit card and I paid. I went and sat at a table that was empty to wait. About 15 minutes later a waitress comes over with prawn chips. That I was actually thinking about getting but forgot. She says.. "Here for you." I said, oh no I'm not eating here I'm waiting for my take out order. And she says... No is okay, here you eat while you wait. I was like ok, thank you. So I started eating them. About another 10 minutes passed by and the guy that took my order came with my food and screamed at me... "These chips are not for you!" while I literally had one in my mouth and he grabs the basket and screams at me to go. I told him, that the girl brought them and I said I was waiting for my food and she said to eat while I wanted and once again he screams at me.. "No, just go!" I almost threw the half eaten chip at his face. But I'm not that rude like him. I am feeling horrible cause I am sick, you don't need to treat me like I'm dumb. I was going to write a review as I walked back to my Airbnb but decided to wait until I tried the food so I could give one also based on that and not just the service. So here it goes. Yello chicken curry - flavorless Wonton soup- actually really good Bbq pork ribs - okay The only thing I did finish was the soup. I know for a fact I will never go back to that place if I visit Aberdeen again.

Nice place to eat with good Chinese food. Prices reasonable if not a little high but I feel everywhere is like that now. Atmosphere is nice perhaps the interior needs a small revamp. We really enjoyed the set menu for 2 and actually liked eating this over a couple of hours as we never felt rushed. Would come back

Nice restaurant with tasty food. Service was good, although a little abrupt. All plates were clear, would eat here again.

It is a great experience as always at China Town. Remembering who you are to the quality of the food, always delicious and tasty. Must go more often. Great staff and service.

Taste of Hong Kong is an Asian restaurant that offers a relaxed atmosphere and serves traditional Cantonese cuisine like fried rice and chow mein. Located in Adelphi Kitchen, it has gained popularity among locals in Aberdeen due to the excellent dishes prepared by head chef Chris Tonner. The restaurant specializes in flavorful meat and fish dishes, cooked using the charcoal heating method developed by Marcus Bawdon.
This place is a hidden gem in aberdeen, it is so great. The staff are so welcoming to everyone and take great care of you when dining. The food is so good, massive portion sizes and great variety. The staff also help out when you spill stuff on ur T-shirt as I figured out 😅😅. Definitely would recommend and will be back.

Yet another superb meal at Taste of Hong Kong. Most authentic Chinese restaurant in ABZ in my opinion at least. As ever on arrival restaurant was in full swing. Good vibe and our starters went down a treat. (Salt and Pepper chicken, Salt and Pepper ribs and spring rolls.) Mains were also very well received, and, again, clean plates. I opted for the Coconut chicken curry soup...wow! My fellow diners had dishes with Beef brisket, Duck and a King Prawn Ho Fan. Pics attached 😊😋 All in all a great evening in great company and great food. Highly recommend

Been away for almost a year but still my favourite restaurant in Aberdeen! The nasi goreng is still one of my favourite dishes there but there are many others I would recommend too! Their service is fantastic and always remember to check their facebook page/call to check if there are slots available! Always worth a visit!

Today I had lunch here. I ordered a total of four menus. As an Asian, I'd like to recommend this place with confidence!👍🏻 - Shredded Pork with Preserved Tuber Mustard with Jiangxi Rice Noodles - XO Fried Ho Fun with King Prawns - Handmade Dumpling - Hong Kong style iced milk tea Especially, the soup taste of 'Shredded Pork with Preserved Tuber Mustard with Jiangxi Rice Noodles' was so gooood!!😋 It's addictive even though I'm full. Dumpling was good, and iced milk tea was perfect for the finish. The staff was kind, too. But the store was a little hot,🥵I think it would be good for everyone if the entrance was open. If I come to Aberdeen again, I will visit here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem – Outstanding Food & Service We came in today as a family of 8 and can honestly say every single meal was served to an outstanding standard. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service from both the staff and the owner was second to none—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. This place is truly a hidden gem! 5-star food and service all the way. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to all our family and friends. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I had such a wonderful dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious – the Indonesian fried rice was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The portions were really generous, which made the meal even more enjoyable and great value for the price. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome throughout my visit. It’s not easy to find a place that delivers both great taste and warm hospitality, but this restaurant truly does. I’ll definitely be coming back again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere!

Visited before attending a show in the Music Hall and was looking for a Chinese restaurant close by. The Taste of Hong Kong came up with great reviews so booked a table. It's not in the most impressive setting in Aberdeen or the most opulent in decoration but atmosphere completely changes on entering the establishment. We were greeted most warmly by a lovely lady and despite being 20mins early were ushered straight to a table. The young female waitress was a delight to have serving us. The menu was varied and full of mouthwatering photos of the dishes. We opted for the Salt and pepper ribs for starter. They were really tasty and enough for two to share. For mains we chose the Hong Kong special fried rice and chicken satay to share. Very generous portions and extremely tasty. Husband had 2 bottles Tiger beer and and I had a rose wine (small 187cl bottle Zinfandel). All in all we were very satisfied with all aspects of our experience. Lovely, friendly staff. Warm welcome & excellent service. What more can you ask for!!! Give this place a try. Don't be put off by first appearances. Will definitely visit again when we return to the Granite City.

The food was very authentic Cantonese. The egg noodles had crunch, the wonton substantial and flavoured nicely, the pan fried dumplings spot on and the wok fried noodles “chow mein” also authentic and very good. The cold HK style milk tea was pretty good. The only thing that wasn’t quite right was the Yin Yang tea (which is a combination of HK milk tea and coffee). Yin Yang tea is difficult to get right even in the best establishments No it’s no big sin to get that wrong here. Otherwise a great eatery.

Golden Palace is a delightful culinary destination that promises an authentic Chinese dining experience. With a diverse menu featuring tantalizing dishes like Chicken Satay Skewers, Tom Yum Kong Soup, and Honey Chilli King Prawn, there's something for everyone to savor. The all-you-can-eat option offers great value, allowing diners to sample various flavors until satisfied. While the restaurant can get busy and service may slow down at times, the quality of food remains consistently impressive.
😍I was lucky enough to find this restaurant in Aberdeen! Been traveling around the country for work, across many towns and cities, and as a fan of Chinese cuisine, I'm always trying to find the best one in town. 😁 Golden Palace has everything you need. It offers all the standard Chinese dishes, along with traditional Chinese food that you typically only find in select restaurants. The menu includes photos, making it great for trying new dishes. 👍I was pleasantly surprised to discover they even offer an all-you-can-eat menu with freshly cooked food. I would highly recommend it for all types of occasions!

Came in on my own after a long day and was in the mood for Chinese. Service is ok but not very interactive and made assumptions on what utensils I wanted to use to eat instead of asking. The prices are a little steep but what came out was fantastic. So nothing was the prettiest to look at but the food took me back to eating similar food when visiting the grandparents in Malaysia. So yes, really enjoyed the food. Service could be better and a bit pricey especially if alone.
Andrew K — Google review
Heard this is the best in town so went for a try. Place to go for well cooked authentic Chinese meal. Do try out the menu instead of the ‘all you can eat’ set. We spent less than £20 per head for beef fillet, deep fried squids, cauliflower hot pot which was less hot/spicy than the usual so good for most, and ‘ Guo Bao’ batter-fried pork fillet with sweet lemony sauce. All good portion enough to fill 4 adults. Seating was quite crowded and a bit understaffed but food came fast enough. Will come here whenever I am in town.

I was craving salt and pepper chips. I’ve ordered as a take away. I’ve asked how long it’s going to be and they said 5 minutes. I received chips after 3 min ready which I was shocked. I love salt and pepper chips and I usually wait 20 minutes anyway I order. Unfortunately chips were reheated, and added some onion and chilli. I wouldn’t recommend it. Never again 🤮

Another return visit. Five of us,food was good, and the restaurant was busy. Service was a bit slower than previous visits. ‐------------- Nice food and good service. Returned for a meal in the restaurant. The all you can eat menu has plenty of choices and is good value at £22 per person. Just keep ordering until you have had enough and a good way to try different dishes. Drinks are extra. I thought the smoked shredded chicken and crispy duck were very nice. 2 sides to the menu and a couple of photos. The main menu looked good also.

The food and choice is really good. Nice place. Service was 3 stars but still I'm putting them 5. Forgot our cutlery so needed to ask, but hey it's Monday, it's tiring day. Apologised for that soo all 😎 😎 😎

This as my favourite place to eat in off the Chinese menu. It was always delicious, flavoursome and very well presented food before. Went there today and the food was absolutely appalling, no flavour apart from salt. None of the food tasted right. For £65 for 4 dishes youd expect the food to at least taste the same as before. The new chef isn’t doing a great job. Such a shame as we really loved it here
Melisa A — Google review
More by accident, I found this small Asian restaurant. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was traditional Chinese food, but they also serve European style of you want to. You find a lot of different dishes in the menu, vegetarian but also duck, chicken, pork and beef. The beef was super soft, I liked it a lot, very delicious.

Denmore Szechuan is a Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen known for its great food and pleasant service. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly, with Dean being particularly helpful. The menu offers delicious dishes like eggs and beans, prepared to perfection. While the interior could be improved, take-out is always an option. This place stands out for not compromising on the spiciness of their food by adding sugar. It's definitely worth a visit for authentic Chinese cuisine in Aberdeen!
Another great Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen. Have used a few times, and they are always pleasant. The food is great, too - made quickly, and tastes lovely.

Unfortunately the 1st time we have been extremely disappointed with our meal tonight. Only thing with a little taste was the noodles. We got prawn hot garlic and special thai spicy garlic. It was extremely tasteless, the pork was fatty and it was full off onions and green pepper. Extremely disappointed.

Tried for the first time in a while. Pancake rolls were very oily, prawn crackers bland and chicken and pineapple bland with a very watery sauce and chewy chicken. Not good.

Worst chinese ive had in 40 years, just got chicken curry which was almost grey in colour and had a strange smell, the chips and rice were all cold, chicken fried rice had wierd Brown bits in it, will never go back there again Would give zero stars if it was possible Absolute joke of a takeaway

Was cruising through the town looking for a bite to eat, would've ate my own leg if it wasn't glued on. Found the Szechaun what a place. Was served by a nice man called Dean! what a guy helped me find exactly what I wanted. Eggs! and lots of it great atmosphere good people good food and lots of Audi's didn't feel out of place though, they even had a fish tank (probably where they keep the fresh lobster) u won't find another place that does eggs and beans quite like it. Lovely! oosh! x

Food from here is great, and the sweet lady who is usually behind the counter is always a delight to talk to. The inside could be a nicer place to sit, but as I always get take-out it's not really a big issue.

Yangtze River Restaurant is a long-standing local favorite, serving up authentic pan-Chinese dishes for over 50 years. The bright basement dining room with an aquarium offers familiar Chinese dishes, dim sum, and set menus. The menu features vegetarian options like spring rolls and vegetable stir-fries with chili and cashews. For the adventurous, their hot pot boasts a wide selection of seafood in a spicy broth. The restaurant also provides excellent service and reasonable prices in lovely surroundings.
We had a table for 10 last night and could not fault the food and service at all, in fact it was superb. The Ribs were the best I think I've ever had in my life. The treated my kids wonderfully and whenever there was a minor error with an order the were delighted to put it right. I'm going to go once a month now if I can stay away that long between visits.

I don't know if the restaurant is under new management, but I was in there 8th Feb 2014 with friends and we chose the Menu C at £24.50 per head. The meal was disgusting. I complained to the Manager about the chicken and cashew nuts being very bland and rubbery, supposed to be pork dumplings on the menu we ordered but was not was delivered to our table as starters, I had to ask 5 times before they eventually came with our main course. The manager gave us no no apology and did not seem very interested. I have been going into this Restaurant since 1968 (supposed to be the best) but after tonight's episode, I will not return to the Restaurant

Has to be the best Chinese restaurant in Aberdeen. Best to book ahead of your visit, but they have always found us a table without one. Excellent food served by very good staff. Highly recommend a visit.

Absolutley disgusting . Wouldnt serve the beef dishes to a stray dog . A stray dog probably wouldnt eat it anyway because it would be eating one of its relatives . Also the wee women walking about serving with her cheap bomber jacket on as the place was that cold isnt very buisness like . Also the toilets could do with a serious bleaching . Wouldnt recommend would just advise to avoid like the plague

Amazing chinese, the best in aberdeen. I ordered the Duck in the plum sauce and it has the finest meal i have ever eaten. Clearly a reason why this chinese has been here for over 25 years. Good value and great food!

Excellent Dimsum on a sunday afternoon, Great surroundings big tables for big groups of friends and a very reasonably price... normally around £10 a head for a decent feast. (drinks excluded) I've been going here on and off for 20 years and it never disapoints. Sunday lunch will never be the same again. (in a good way)

Nestled in the heart of Aberdeen, Luna Chinese Bistro invites you to embark on a culinary journey through the rich and diverse flavors of mainland China. This charming eatery is dedicated to delivering an authentic dining experience that honors traditional Chinese cuisine. With a menu featuring both popular regional dishes and hidden gems, Luna stands out as a unique destination for those seeking genuine Northeastern home-style meals.
My friend recommended this place, saying the Chinese food here was unlike anything we’d had before — and they were right! Me and my boyfriend both had the black bean beef and shredded potato, they are so tasty and taste different from the cheap takeaway at all!

The staff was very welcoming, and I loved the chef's special pork ribs and the spicy beef with chillies stir fry!!! I will definitely come back to taste other Northern China dishes!

A rare gem for traditional Chinese food, especially Northeastern home-style dishes — and the only one of its kind in Aberdeen. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The shredded potato dish and the complimentary chili sauce were especially surprising in the best way — full of authentic flavor and perfectly seasoned. Sitting by the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the afternoon with a glass of mojito was the perfect way to relax. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely restaurant with fresh and tasty food. Service was great, the server was able to provide good recommendations. I’ve been twice and enjoyed it both times. In this picture I have the mala hotpot and spicy potato salad. I definitely recommend!

Went to Luna Chinese Bistro and was really impressed. The flavors are unique and not the usual kind you find everywhere. The cocktails are amazing and pair perfectly with the food. The place has a nice vibe too — perfect for a chill night out. Definitely going back!

The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly! If you visit I would recommend the dry hot pot :)
Emelie C — Google review
So we went here for dinner and firstly the food tasted amazing, the service was okay and the restaurant itself looked lovely. However, I felt as if they were missing a head waiter to direct the staff around because it took about 20 -30 minutes for a drink and there wasn’t a proper bartender either leading to longer wait times. The tables are extremely sticky too and the napkin actually stuck to the table which brings questions, do they change the napkins occasionally if a person who’s sat there hasn’t used it?. The toilets also had a really bad pipe smell. What has really put me off is that I actually found hair in my food and that put me off my whole experience. We will most likely not be coming back.
