The Tippling House is a chic cellar bar in the heart of Aberdeen's cultural district, offering a 1930s speakeasy vibe with its wood-panelled ceiling, hanging lamps, and cozy booth seating. This subterranean late-night tavern serves boutique spirits, hand-crafted cocktails, and fine Scottish ales alongside inspired casual dining options. Established in 2012 by the cocktail catering company 10 Dollar Shake, it aims to provide a high-end imbibing experience.
Was our first time here after hearing about it for so long. Jamie really made our time there amazing, was so incredibly attentive, super talkative and friendly, and had great knowledge of the stock and drinks on offer. Thanks Jamie!! The vibe is great, the drinks are amazing and they can make most things by request. They also have a trade menu for hospitality staff. Fab place!!

Great little hidden speakeasy tucked away on Belmont. Stumbled upon it and loved the atmosphere. The £10 signature cocktails are amazing and well thought out and balanced. Had 3-for-2 small plates with a great variety : had the fritters, bao, and poutine. Evan and Charlie (Charlotte) were friendly, attentive and prooud of the establishment. Bonus points for being in a basement so the bathrooms are on the same level!!!
Mark K — Google review
Firstly. Service: phenomenal, was greeted instantly, kind and soft spoken server and our water jug was refilled when it wasn’t even empty. The way my jaw dropped at the level of sophistication this place has (even at almost 1am). Please come here is your unsure as I could not recommend more. Furthermore the actual drinks here are delicious and well thought out, plus, the mixologists know what they’re on about here. I referenced a drink from a video game and one of the bartenders knew what is was, told me and said he could make it if I wanted. 6 stars!!!!
Danni-Jack F — Google review
The pepper saltzman was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even one that caught my eye at first but I was having trouble deciding between all of the amazing-looking drinks and asked our waitress for help. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave great descriptions of all the drinks. We were planning to stay for 1, maybe 2, drinks, and instead stayed for 3 plus the 3 for 2 deal on small plates—all were delicious, especially the fried chicken bao buns.
Jenny M — Google review
Been coming here for yeeeears and it never disappoints!!! Celebrated our 10 year anniversary with our favourites.... Rye Old Fashioned and the dirtiest of dirty Gin Martini!!! You guys are all amazing, make us feel special evertime we're in, even when the place is packed... which is always, make sure you book! If not a seat at the bar watching the magicians.. sorry mixologist is well worth it!!! Cheers guys and see you soon!
Tim G — Google review
Was here early afternoon for cocktails. As it was early it was quiet. Not all the food menu was available so we didn't eat. Cocktails were great. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks.
Craig J — Google review
We have traveled to many a famous cocktail bar in our time. The Tippling House measures up to the likes of Death & Co in New York. Inventive cocktails with refreshingly unique pairings of base spirits, fantastic liquers, and various modifiers make for a wonderful imbibing experience. When paired with the excellent service and knowledge of libations the staff bring to the table, it makes the place special. Go here, have a drink, and be happy.
Isaac E — Google review
Tasting menu was very nice and cooked to perfection and all cocktails very original, unusual and very tasty. The service was also very good. I wasn't too keen on the ambience - a bit too dark and cold. Some background music would be also nice as it was awfully quiet at times. EDIT: I didn't realise the rule for music applied to restaurants. My apologies - if it was possible, I'd add half a star :) 0

Cocktail bar
Dusk Cocktail Bar, located in the heart of Aberdeens West End on Langstane Place, is a stylish and intimate lounge offering classic and original cocktails, boutique spirits, and craft ales. During the pandemic, they expanded their services to include cocktail delivery and collection. With experienced bartenders creating unique cocktails, it's become a popular spot for pre-drinks or dates. The bar also offers mixology lessons for those interested in crafting their own drinks.
Best old fashioned in a while and great banter off Lewis he's a good lad Donnie (like the ninja turtle) is a laugh too very good at the cocktails

A great place go, even when it's quieter, like early evening. We were served by Jamie - who is probably the most attentive barperson we've ever come across in our lives. We really loved his friendly, professional nature and just how seriously he takes his job, like a proper host rather than a drink making machine. A really nice venue, with skilled bar people and loads of interesting drinks on the menu and on tap.
Mitchell K — Google review
Lovely selection of cocktails....really polite bar manager (or bar key holder) Table service and was given a tab till we left. Really nice customer service. Liked the fact you are encouraged to be a good social drinker...with water given to us as well! Good responsible barring. Not too keen on the whole sweaty music tho! But apart from that...comfy seating and great drinks
Gwen C — Google review
Considering this is a cocktail bar and I was there at around 2 am, I was sober enough to remember it with fondness. It was very crowded and loud, which I am never very fond of. However, it made up for this with a combination of friendly atmosphere, happy staff and a quirky interior layout, being long and narrow. Not a place to go and have a leisurely chat, but if you want a young, vibrant, noisy drink in the wee small hours of Aberdeen, one of the places to be.
Stuart S — Google review
Just moved to Aberdeen a week ago.. ive found myself in here twice. Great vibe and seems really popular. Friendly welcoming doorman is always a plus and the bartenders look after you. Live music nights make for a great venue. I'll be coming regularly.
Wil W — Google review
I had drinks here with work colleagues pre-lockdown and had a great night. We decided to work our way through a number of the cocktails on the menu and every one was first class! My favourite was amaretto sour! Would highly recommend to anyone/group looking for a great night in a quality bar with brilliant atmosphere and superb drinks!
Bra10j — Google review
Popped in for a couple of drinks after we’d been for a meal. Quite a few different cocktails to choose from: there was something for everyone in our group. Staff were helpful & the drinks tasted great!
Trudie — Google review
Good music, good atmosphere. Barstaff seemed annoyed at how busy it was, several of us felt they weren't happy serving us so that was the only poor part of the night.

Cocktail bar
Restaurant
Soul Bar is a trendy cocktail bar located in the heart of Aberdeen, set in a former church with stunning stained glass windows and columns. The bar offers a vibrant atmosphere with groovy vibes and live music performances that will get you on your feet. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a fun night out, Soul Bar is the place to be. Additionally, it features an outdoor bar serving frozen margaritas as part of their May Day spectacular.
Visited for lunch Thursday 24th April. Booked a table for two in advance. Roxanne attended to the pre-booking call and all our needs at the venue. We had starters and a main course each. My wife was tempted with the Nachos starter-large potion and I sided with the Cullen skink soup-tasty but not very hot (a slight negative). We both had the fish and chips for our mains-absolutely delicious. They have a plethora of draught lagers and beers. I tried two different lagers which met my needs. The experience was made all the better as Roxanne was very friendly and made sure that we were well catered for at all times. She is a credit, and was a breath of fresh air-a great ambassador for the establishment-prime reason for the 5* rating. I only rated the atmosphere as 4* as there were only a handful of customers at the venue. Would definitely recommend for a spot of lunch, I suspect it would be quite busy on Friday/Saturdays so probably best to book in advance.
George M — Google review
Lovely converted church into a bar and restaurant, serving an eclectic range of meals from around the world and good beer. I only marked it down on service as I think our server was somewhat preoccupied and wasn’t as attentive as I would normally like, but we can all have an off day, and I am certain this isn’t the norm.
Darryl O — Google review
Such a let down. The location and environment is amazing. However, the service was horrible. 30 minutes to get our starters Another 30 minutes to get water refills Another 30 minutes to get our food The manager finally apologized after 80 because they only had one chef in the back. I can appreciate being short staffed in the kitchen, but how does that keep you from communicating and getting refills before an hour? The food was good enough but the seasoning was super inconsistent. Fish and chips needed salt. The chicken fajita was overly spicy. The pizza needed salt. The steak was overcooked. The Mac n cheese croquette had zero flavor. The highlight was the caprese skewers which were absolutely delicious! Huge let down and I would suggest people find another place to eat in Aberdeen.
Dan S — Google review
Got here late on a Wednesday night, first time in Aberdeen, food was decent portions and good flavour. Staff really friendly and would def come back
Richard — Google review
This place is really amazing it's a bar in an old church with stunning glass windows. Seating area outside with heaters. We stopped for a cocktail my husband had a Bloody Mary I had an Aperol Spritz. Both cocktails were lovely staff were great. We sat outside and it was a lovely spot to watch the world go by. Would definitely go back. Has clean toilets.
Gail K — Google review
Had a lovely night with my husband on a Friday night in Soul. The staff was really helpful and the food was also so good. They had a nice DJ. Friday nights fully crowred. If you're going for food better to reserve a table with food, else you'll get only the drinks. You can park in the Bon-accord square which is in Bon-Accord street, Easy Parking. Security also good. And the atmosphere is really really good.
Wayomi J — Google review
Beautiful original features from the old Kirk. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Didn’t have food and just used the bar area so can’t comment on other areas. Will visit again.

Nestled in the vibrant Merchant Quarter of Aberdeen, CASC Whisky & Cigar Shop is a true gem for enthusiasts of fine spirits and cigars. This inviting bar boasts an impressive array of over 200 bottled beers from across the globe and features 28 craft beers on tap that change regularly. For whisky lovers, CASC offers an extensive selection with more than 500 varieties of Scotch and world whiskies to choose from.
The CASC Whisky and Cigar shop, King Street Aberdeen service delivery is topnotch. Lots of brands to choose. While this shop is close to Morrison supermarket, it's also a walking distance from Aberdeen beach. Compared to Morrison, the wishkey price here are relatively affordable. There is one bottle of wishkey on shelves that catch my eyes, which I will post here. If you cherish good wishkey, please shop here.

Been trying to buy cigars from this branch for over 3 months now. Each time I go in I get the same response "the boss hasn't offered new cigars because he is saying the place needs to make money first". Surely that's the simple laws of economics, sell cigars and make money. Today I went in at 5.15pm, they should be open until 6pm but they were closed. Very disappointed in this place now.
N J — Google review
What a great shop! I rarely get to smoke these days. Went in today and the chap couldnt be more helpful, clearly knows his stuff. I actually only wanted one cigar. Walked out with 2, dont regret a thing. Smoking the one the guy recommended and what a fantastic smoke it is. This place is seriously good. I will back!!
David S — Google review
Great shop and a great selection of beers, whisky and cigars. The shop manager (unfortunately did not catch his name) is a friendly guy and very good at helping you make a choice. Will definitely be back when I visit Aberdeen again.
Roy W — Google review
Super friendly & Knowledgeable. Always got time for there customers. When I first came to them as a new customer and was getting started on cigars I was shown what would be the best starters which wouldn’t brake the bank.
Bradley G — Google review
On a recent visit to Aberdeen. I was seeking perhaps a cigar or two, but outside the two large Scottish metropolises, it can be difficult to find anything more than a tubed Havana. I was delighted to find CASC on King Street therefore, where I stumbled into an aladdin's cave of smokes both Cuban and New World. There were also Scotch whiskies, craft beers and coffees. All life's little luxuries! There is a most impressive walk-in humidor, and the young gentleman on duty that day had a remarkable knowledge of the impressive selection of drinks and smokes on offer which put mine, an old hand in these matters, to shame. I left financially poorer, but with a haul of purchases I had not expected to discover outside Glasgow or Edinburgh. Owing to the brevity of my visit, I had no time to visit the sister establishment on Stirling Street, but I will most definitely be back!
Wrigley B — Google review
Nice shop in King Street with a huge selection of cigars. They have a limited, but pleasant, range of whiskies and a few local craft beers to choose from. The lads in the shop were pleasant and helpful.

Revolution Aberdeen, located on Belmont Street, is a popular choice among the best bars in the city. It offers a global menu of comfort-food classics and hosts nightly happy hours. The bar is known for its delicious cocktails and live DJ sets, making it a great spot to enjoy good food and drinks. With an outdoor seating area, it's especially popular when the sun is out.
Not the type of venue that I would normally visit but what a surprise. The staff were outstanding in the delivery of customer service, which all seemed to be very natural. Our dog was also made most welcome and the staff couldn't have been more helpful in assisting my wife to enter and leave the premises despite her using a mobility scooter. The food was terrific and we left assuring ourselves that we have been missing out by not visiting sooner.

Went to revolution for my friends hen do. We did a cocktail making class with Paddy who was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and really got the vibe going for the night. The rest of the staff had good service and were friendly aswell as helpful. Later on in the night I hurt my ankle quite badly. Staff were so quick to get me ice and somewhere private until I could get picked up. Very friendly, helpful and amazing service. Could not praise them enough!

WOW OH WOW, Came here to use a Groupon voucher and ended up staying until close. Our server for the night was Eilish, absolutely fantastic from the get go. She was so friendly and efficient. Also happy to help us use our voucher and get our order fulfilled. Food was fantastic and so were the drinks. We will DEFINITELY be back.....

came in for a brunch with my friends and james and sky were amazing! welcoming, friendly and so helpful, great service and will be back again because of them!

We visited last night for a 'Virgin Experience Cocktail Master Class'. The Master Class from Paddy was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable. We 100% recommend him. We learned lots from him. However, our pre-booked, post-Experience meal 'experience' was rubbish. Paddy made sure our starter arrived soon after our cocktails (at 7.15pm) but the rest of our pre-ordered meal never arrived, despite asking for it from the person who we thought was in charge of getting food out - she was singularly focused on other people (Tall Ships crew). We left because over an hour between a starter and the non-arrival of a main (despite asking for it) is just rubbish. DO: Go to Revolution because Paddy is excellent. NEVER EVER: Go to Revolution because everyone else appears to be rubbish.

The Wild Boar is a popular pub in the heart of Aberdeen with a mix of traditional pub food and more modern dishes. It's easy to access, reasonably priced, and has good bar fare and drinks. Some reviewers stated that the pub was clean and had good drinks, while others enjoyed the lively atmosphere.
Had another excellent dinner at the Boar, 3 small plates, Haddock Goujons, Sticky Chicken & Smashed Potatoes, all were delicious. Staff were very attentive and cheerful. Highly recommended 👌👍

Nice place, the weather outside was awful when we visited so it was empty inside and it wasn't to warm. The food was grand the drinks were better. Wouldn't be in a rush back but it did the trick to get in out of the snow.
Dave C — Google review
Dispite the lunch crowd, the waiter was attentive and took my order quite quickly. I tried the haggis fritters which is really delicious. I so wanted to have the sticky toffee pudding, which was really yummy, until I found some pieces of plastic, little bits of it. At first I thought it was just one off, then followed 3 more bits. Well I think the chef was having a tough day. I wasnt charged for the pudding, however, there was no apology though which was a real let down, hence my 3 star rating. No doubt the food is good.

I very rarely review stuff. But this gaff for Aberdeen is absolute Top banana. Been a few times now sooo when delayed for work. Food is sublime and very reasonably priced. There is a great selection of drinks priced probably average for Aberdeen. Beer is good also. Highly reccomend a visit.

Great looking pub, great service and helpful staff. However, that's as good as it gets........food was awful. Ordered steak pie, got to be the worst plate of food I've ever ordered. There were 4 bits of beef on the plate !. The waitress asked if everything was OK and I told here about the meagre portion of beef served........she came back with another 2 pieces !!!. AVOID, if you're looking for decent food it was awful.

my food was very nice. we got the scampi to start, and then i had the chicken katsu burger and the badger got the chicken and bacon burger. also incredibly cheap. desserts let it down a little, but not the biggest deal. service was fast and friendly, and the energy in the pub was nice - sociable and chatty, but not too loud.

Very nice pub and you could also have a whisky flight. We chose one with only scotch whiskies, but you can also choose international whiskies. If I ever go to Aberdeen again I would definitely go there again.

Wine flight was a great experience and all staff were attentive (especially the lovely man who ran out with my sisters forgotten umbrella!l Only 4 out of 5 for food as we are Vegetarian and felt it a bit bread heavy but understood it was a small menu and we enjoyed what we had

Food is solid, drinks are great and the service staffs are Superb ! Had a great evening there. Keep it up. It's a 5 star for me.
Ssc S — Google review
Beautiful decor, however food and drinks were average and overpriced. Staff were lovely and attentive, yet as others have reviewed we were met with an initial rudeness from management about needing the table back 45 mins prior to what we were told we could have it until because apparently "they were going to be busy and need to think of customers" despite us being customers! It didn't make a good first impression or help us to feel relaxed. We chose to leave promptly and go elsewhere with our money than stay where we were not wanted. Ordered a Hibiscus Pina Colada, don't think this is what I got more just a plain Pina Colada. Although it was tasty. At £11 garnish was disappointing.

We had a great time at Grape & Grain. Excellent wine in a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back, and would recommend it. We shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and had bruschetta as a snack. I also had a strawberry daiquiri. Excellent service and overall it was a great evening.

Cuban restaurant
Revolución de Cuba Aberdeen is a vibrant Cuban bar located in the heart of the Granite City, offering an authentic tropical experience. With a wide selection of the world's finest rums and classic cocktail bars, it's a perfect spot for partygoers. The venue hosts salsa dancing classes and offers an array of drinks including daiquiris, gin and tonics, martinis, and mojitos. Additionally, it features Cuban-inspired food and tapas to complement the fiesta atmosphere.
Hello all, We are vacationing in Scotland and of course, I'll take the time to post a few reviews. As Cuban Americans when we saw this Cuban restaurant in Scotland we had to try it out. I absolutely love the majestic cobblestone streets and old buildings in Europe. This restaurant is nestled in the middle of it all! Now, of course the food was not quite authentic Cuban. Sadly, they were actually out of bread to make a Cuban sandwich this day so I tried the chicken with rice & black beans. It was pretty good but Not Miami style Cuban food and we realize that was going to be the case. The restaurant as you can see from the pictures, is decorated wonderfully, they had Latin music playing in the background and we loved the espresso cafe. I would definitely recommend stopping by here for a lunch or dinner! It was not expensive at all, remember everything in the UK is pounds not US dollars. As far as parking goes there is parking on the main road. We actually walked here from our hotel because we didn't have a car. Wr really enjoyed our time in here. James...
James — Google review
I’ve always enjoyed coming to Rev de Cuba on Saturday nights, but lately the quality of the music has been really disappointing. This is meant to be a Latin bar, yet after midnight the music seems to shift almost entirely to Taylor Swift remixes and generic chart tracks. It never used to be like this, and honestly it’s put me off coming back, which is such a shame because it used to be my favourite Saturday night spot. Everything else about the venue is fantastic—the food, staff, and drinks are all great—but the music has completely killed the vibe. Please can we listen to some actual Latin music on Saturday nights 🙏
Ruby S — Google review
Lovely place with great vibes. We visited with friends The music is lively with latest hits. The drinks menu is pretty good and we tried a lot of items. Though they taste good we felt they seem more juice and less spirits so bit expensive for value. We tried the Cuban honey which was good. The sangria jug was more ice and juice than anything else. The Pineapple Express was okie dokie. The fierce female and caipirinha was strictly okay.
Harshal M — Google review
The food was alright, cocktails were decent too. Not bad value for money the staff were great, good atmosphere too
Andrew M — Google review
So I was here for Cuban night, the DJ was lovely and the atmosphere was bubbly and enjoyable, salsa dancing was permitted and as usual everyone was polite. I did not have anything to eat, it was just drinks and shots (which were always coming 🙃) very nice staff too! Will surely return when I am in Aberdeen again
Kelechi O — Google review
The place to go if you want delicious Cuban food. The service was excellent. They prepared the table side guac amazingly. The drinks were nice and cold. The bar area was so chic...I loved hanging around there that we went twice on our short visit to Aberdeen. Highly recommend!

Could not fault the service here! Amazing food, amazing staff and great service. I had a family emergency and had to rush off mid birthday lunch and didn’t know if I would be back but the staff were so accommodating to my friends and offered to pack up food, or reheat it if needed when I eventually did get back. When I did return they had a birthday cocktail waiting for me and they were so lovely and attentive making sure that I was okay. Honestly couldn’t recommend Rev de Cuba more, definitely come here if you’re in the area or are looking for a good night out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this place!! It's so fun. Cocktails are really delicious, even the mocktails! We had some of the small.plates today and they were all tasty. Can't wait to go back.

We were the only folk there so not sure why we waited 45 minutes…but when it came the food was delicious and they went the extra mile by preparing a birthday treat for me. If you go leave enough time as it takes a while but worth the wait. Lovely waitress and nice extra touches.

Cocktails and service was nice but food was a bit of a let down. We ordered 6 small plates and was barely enough for 2 of us. Food quite bland and not very exciting. Asked for more pita bread for the hummus but was told I'd need to order the dish again to get more bread so the kitchen can track the stock... Lol. Rather disappointing. Service was nice tho!

An absolute gem of Aberdeen. I had the most amazing cocktails made with a wonderful smile and a great sense of humour by Rhiann. I only intended on having one but her skill and passion and the wonderful attitude she possessed, I just couldn't settle for one. I ended up spending most of my weekend there. Her sidekick Ben was an absolute star, great conversation and plenty of laughs, made this dynamic duo an absolute dream to be served by. No request was too much, their combined knowledge and their humour and wittiness made my visits and absolute pleasure. Totally an asset to the Spiritualist and anyone passing through Aberdeen should pass by and experience this level of service and commitment. It would be criminal not to. Can't wait to visit again.

We have been here a number of times now across many years and always had great food. Firstly Scottish Tapas, then Bao buns, now fresh pasta. We had Beef Shin Ragu and Chicken Parma, both delicious with perfect pasta. A tiny menu but well executed. Quiet today as the sun was shining and they have no outdoor seating but have always felt lucky to get a seat in the past. Lovely bar staff and nice ambiance.

10 October 2025 2 young women working the bar were very gracious. We had liquid for lunch. 2 persons. Delicious cold water served with a diet coke (I know, not adventurous)& Hendrick's & tonic. I reviewed the drink menu & "Let's Split" sounded intriguing. I'm not a fan of spiced rum, but I can quickly change. Oh my goodness, what a treat! I had 2! On an empty stomach! I was a bit tipsy, but I'm a light-weight. Plus, we believe in supporting an establishment that has our Pride Flag displayed. Excellent service.

Delicious and fresh food. Only one objection is that the bao buns are a bit small and can be part of a set, not a dish on its own. Apart that everything was good. The portion of fries was generous. Nice and attentive staff.
Emi B — Google review
The food is absolutely amazing, can't fault it honestly and for a good price too. The cocktails are very good but a bit pricey in my opinion. However, if you ask, they can prepare a mocktail for you, which is what we did on our last visit. The place can be very loud, which can lower the experience for me but the staff is very nice and accommodating.

Scottish Tapas served here. Great rustic interior. Friendly service. Most of the selection of the tapas was lovely especially the Nachos. The chickpea curry Dahl, the mushroom soup and the Kale & Ginger falafel however was disappointing. Would still recommend as overall experience was lovely.

Hello there friends family travellers Barry allan here yet again as you know passionate foodie lover of great service and hospitality and seriously enjoy writing about great places! And brewdog Aberdeen union square most definitely is one! Let's pop in, I'd stopped by brewdog two weeks ago with my friend Dr Michael just for drinks and a bit of chat and it was so nice I decided I'd review their food so on Wednesday evening I made the journey into the city to this great place. Arriving we were warmly welcomed by the fantastic friendly team that consisted of rubin,Matty, Max and Jack such great fun helpful guys who really are an asset to the team and shown to our well laid out table to peruse the extensive menu we were hungry! There's a lot on offer veges are well catered for and all food intolerances are dealt with a lovely menu ! So we looked and decided on the pit burger hand smashed beef pattie with crispy braised pork bacon jam jammy onions and coleslaw oh yeah the Birria beef burger with American cheese jalapenos onion smoky ketchup and chilli beef gravy to dip! Then the famous cluck Norris chicken burger buttermilk chicken, pickles red onion lettuce and finally the buffalo chicken wings oh yeah and we opted for the toffee ice cream sando for dessert we were hungry and waited for our feast! Sitting back the ambience at brewdog is spot on a lovely vibrant airy place very cool decor and as I've said smiling happy staff really made us feel relaxed and at home we chatted waiting on the food! Not long after our food arrived wow what a show first the pit, delicious meaty burger with the loveliest bacon atop the jam was so sweet and the jammy onions just added to the flavour plus the coleslaw delicious! The Birria beef burger again delicious well cooked beef so tasty the cheese excellant the jalapenos and the smoky ketchup a delight and folks the chill beef gravy to dunk was just sublime wonderful! Ok the cluck Norris well fried buttermilk chicken in the nicest brioche bun sweet ranch mayo the onions lettuce pickle make this a winner chicken dinner so tasty it was excellant the wings delicious quite spicy as ordered so tasty the sauce amazing top quality in our view all you can eat on Wednesdays! Good burger and fries. Nothing over the top exceptional to rave about. Convenient location inside the mall, upper level (not where the directory shows). Table service friendly and quick
Emma N — Google review
Booked a table for 10 people, the place was full being Good Friday and having a drinks offer on, but only 2 staff working the whole of the floor and the bar, it took ages to get a drink. The main complaint was the wait for food, 3 orders on the table took an hour and a half to arrive, after asking staff at 30 mins and 60 mins. All I ordered was a salad, and when it arrived it was dry, not the usual standard I expect from BrewDog. Shocking service.
Iain W — Google review
My favourite place to come for food and drinks. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, which makes the place so much better than other bars and restaurants. Special thank you to Craig and Ed (as we had a chance to chat) for being amazing people, you add a lot of magic to the place with your unique personas. The food is always great and the Rocky Road stout is just the best alcoholic beverage on planet Jupiter... Thank you to all the staff for allowing this place to function the way it does. All the best :)
JONAS P — Google review
The burgers were great and there's a good selection of them on the menu. We were eating late in the evening, after 8pm, and at this time of day your choices are pretty much burger or pizza. Would have liked to try a dessert but the kitchen closed at 8.45pm, which we didn't know until then. Service was a bit all over the place - 3 different servers took our food and drinks orders, brought our orders over, etc during the duration of our visit but there didn't seem to be much communication between them as we told one we'd look at the dessert menu, another then told us the kitchen was closed, and the first one then came back to take our dessert order. They were all perfectly nice and polite but not very enthusiastic or welcoming. Staff at the till when we were paying were particularly helpful and friendly.
Rachel L — Google review
Dear BrewDog Team, I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent visit to your Aberdeen Union Square location. Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations. • Despite booking a table for three for Wings Wednesday, we were left unattended for around five minutes after being seated, and it felt as though the staff were unbothered by our presence. • Our waitress appeared disengaged, never offering even a smile or welcoming attitude. Strikingly, she seemed cheerful and enthusiastic only when speaking to her colleagues. • One of the cauliflower wings we ordered was undercooked, with raw batter still visible inside. The rest of the wings were also of poor quality and not enjoyable. Overall, both the service and food quality were disappointing. This was not the level of hospitality or standard of food we expected from BrewDog, and unfortunately it has put us off returning. I hope you take this feedback seriously so that future guests do not face a similar experience.

This place has a lot of potential. Is in a fantastic building and the layout and furniture is pretty good. Negatives - I spent 20 mins trying to get a drink and almost gave up as the bartender appeared to deliberately ignore our existence. The music was brilliant, however could have been turned down say 2 notches so we could speak as well as enjoying it. Overall, nice place but could do with improvements. We left after two pints so we could have a discussion whilst enjoying the football elsewhere.

The staffs are very friendly and patiently explain to us what is a potted crab (importantly with his warm smile), which I never had before. We ordered potted crab and nachos. Nachos are great. Keep it up. Highly recommended. The atmosphere of the pub is awesome. Lots of TVs in all directions for you to watch games. I also enjoy the old design of the building. There is also board games for everyone to enjoy. There must be something to suit everyone here.

First time being in here in many years, potentially since it became a part of a chain. Used to be a frequent place when a student and there was always a good platefull no matter what you ordered. We were a party of 3 and found there was plenty seats even though the Tall Ships were just arriving in the city. Me and my partner had the fish and chips and my mum had the beer battered halibut. Decent plate portions with the two fish and chips being tasty and no complaints. The beer battered halibut was large, however on getting some of it to try, the beer batter overpowered any taste of the fish. Bit disappointing, but as it was over £16+ my mum (81) still finished it with stray chips and parts of the fish magically appearing on my plate every so often. 😂

Fantastic place. Has a roof top beer garden, though it was a bit chilly in the shade. The staff is lovely and provides fast service. We went with friends and had a lovely time. The drinks are fine and the food was delicious. Most of us had the duck confit which was delicious. The salmon fish cake and chicken Kiev was very good too. For desserts we had the sticky toffee which was a bit dry and the peach frangipani which was okay.

Designed by architect Frank Matcham and refurbished in 2006 with a stunning glass-fronted box office, it can accommodate up to 1,400 people.
We went to watch the six musical. My daughter loved it! The theater is massive! Pick your seat wisely..we had the seats at the top at the back I didn't expect it to be so high..I got a bit anxious about it but it was fine. The seats are a bit dated and needing a bit of a refresh but all in all was a good theater and show.

The theatre was easy to get into to, button operated door. The only issue I encountered was the disabled toilet in the foyer corridor was very hard to get into. It was a narrow corridor and the door opened out into the corridor. I had to wheel past the door turn face on open pull the door and wheel backwards to pull door back against the wall. As there wasn't enough room to open door and stay facing the opening then wheel in while pulling the door from fully against the wall to closed. Then do the same to get out, while trying not to hit other patrons. Another wheelchair user had to drive about a meter forward so I could open the door fully to get out, they then had to reverse into the toilet as had to room to turn around. The toilet right beside the seats was fantastic, very spacious and room to maneuver the door. The staff were brilliant at helping me find my space and offering assistance with doors and where things were. My seat had an amazing view, was on a slightly raised platform so I could see above everyone's heads. If you're going to see the lion the witch and the wardrobe, you will love it. Would recommend this theatre for wheelchair users, very accesible. Jut use the toilet near the seats for easier use.

Great evening out seeing Six. Sat in the upper circle where we had a good view of the stage. Leg room was okay, seat cushions very comfortable. Felt fine for an 80 minute single act show. Everyone friendly and helpful.

We had seats up in the balcony it’s a bit of a climb although there is a lift that takes you half way but if your mobility is not great I’d recommend seats lower down. Despite the climb the view was good and certainly didn’t spoil the show. Absolutely fantastic and will definitely be back for more shows in the future.

A great show in a beautiful building. Loses a star only for the seats which are very cramped in knee room for anyone approaching or over 6ft tall. However, good views even in the cheap seats and the acoustics are fantastic.

Disappointed with the Guinness pour Visited recently and was really let down by how my pint of Guinness was served. It was poured all in one go without letting it settle — completely missing the two-part pour that gives Guinness its signature texture and head. As someone who appreciates a proper pint, it was a shame to see the staff not trained on something so basic. A bit of staff training on how to serve Guinness correctly would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

I came here as part of a hen group, and we wound up spending our whole evening here. The staff and atmosphere were amazing and we couldn't have asked for more. The Hen had a fabulous time (as did her entourage). The manager made us feel very welcome. Thank you for a great and memorable night.

The Craftsman – A Scottish Breakfast with Soul In the heart of town, The Craftsman captures the spirit of Scottish hospitality with a breakfast offering that’s as bold and hearty as the Highlands themselves. Exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and charming floral china create an atmosphere that’s both refined and down-to-earth — the kind of place where time slows down just enough to savor every bite. The Scottish breakfast served here is a triumph of tradition and care. Perfectly poached eggs sit proudly atop a plate rich with local character. Thick back bacon, grilled to perfection, lends a smoky, savory punch. The sausages — juicy and seasoned with a subtle spice — are joined by a slice of black pudding that’s wonderfully crisp on the outside, rich and earthy within. Baked beans and buttery mushrooms add warmth and depth, while a roasted tomato offers a sweet, tangy lift. The toast, golden and robust, is ready to soak up every last bit — served with a generous pat of butter on the side. What elevates The Craftsman beyond its menu, though, is its people. The staff radiate genuine warmth and friendliness, treating each guest like a familiar friend. Service is attentive, unrushed, and always with a smile — the kind of welcome that turns a good meal into a great memory. This is not just breakfast — it’s a celebration of Scottish flavors, tradition, and heartfelt service. The Craftsman is a place to linger, to return to, and to recommend without hesitation.

Came in to see what a “coffee shop of the year” was like and it was disappointing. Tho service (order from the bar) and atmosphere was excellent the food was not. My order was quickly delivered but was leery when I asked for the potato and leek soup (at 11:00am) waitress said “let me see if there is any left!?! I expected fresh soup at that time of day- but received watery soup, must have been yesterday’s leftovers just reconstituted with water😞. Hubby got the “fluffy” fruit pancakes- oh boy! They were rubbery, thin, and hard. He had to use a knife to cut it up. Came with blueberries and bananas but apologized about the lack of strawberries which they ran out of and then went to the local Sainsbury’s to get more later. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to make homemade fluffy pancakes- nor have all the kitchen supplies ready to serve. Too bad the kitchen didn’t have their act together. I’ll be going to other cafes that are better!

What a wonderful spot! Cozy and welcoming, and best of all a huge gluten free menu! I went for brunch and had a wonderful breakfast bagel and side of beans. The staff were so reassuring about the safety precautions (toasted in the oven, hashbrowns weren’t fried in shared fryer) that as someone with coeliac I felt very at ease. Tea was posh.

Wee gem of a place. I like that's it's a cafe and bar/restaurant combined, the decor fits both styles very well. Really well decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Exceptionally friendly staff! We had a caramel latte with almond milk & a chai with almond milk, plus a slice of carrot cake & a nutella croissant. The cakes were absolutely delicious and a big mug for the drinks which was great! Really well priced as well. Will be back to try their cocktails and dinner menu sometime. Would highly recommend!

I was pretty disappointed that they abandoned their craft mission and landed to the mega average beer of brutish lagers plus a couple black isle and very little more. I expected much more from a place with “craft” in his name. The food was edible. On the minus side, after they ask you to pay right away, a confused girl ran after us asking if we paid everything. We paid everything but if you really want to make sure you should have a vague idea of what we ordered and ask for receipts. That’s the downside of hiring confused (to be kind) teenagers to pay them little.

Located in the heart of City Centre, Moonfish Cafe is a stylish and cozy bistro known for its modern and eclectic cuisine made with local seafood. The restaurant's chic decor and extensive gin collection add to its charm. Chef-owner Brian Mcleish changes the menu every six weeks to reflect the seasons, offering modernist dishes inspired by traditional Scottish cooking. Diners can enjoy a historic location in the old Merchants Quarter, with views of St Nicholas Kirk.
Absolutely lovely restaurant. The food was excellent, with experimental flavour and texture combinations which worked very well. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I'd definitely suggest making a reservation beforehand, as the space is limited.

Maybe the reviews by others and plenty of coverage online hyped it up abit for me but I found myself wanting more. The restaurant was really popular and for good reason. Great decor, very welcoming service and amazing presentations. Maybe I was expecting too much but the fish wasn't the star in the dishes. Still well executed nonetheless but maybe overshadowed by the ensemble? Would have to return to try again when the menu changes so I'm still keeping my hopes up.

Excellent food, Excellent Service, Excellent menu choice overall. I would highly recommend this quaint little restaurant opposite the church. Staff are polite and courteous which in this modern society we live in has become almost impossible to find. It's refreshing to find this type of service. We spent just over an hour here. To what I believe has the 100% potential to be Michelin star quality very soon indeed. The quality of food you taste on each and every mouthful is a delight on the taste Presentation is excellent as seen in photos. And this is what's special about this place. It ticks all the boxes in the itinerary. Bravo Moonfish Cafe. Great food.

We went in for the 4 course taster menu through itison. £75 well spent. The food was fantastic, each course was superb, the paired cocktail was nice too. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive but no over bearing. The only down side was it could have been warmer in the restaurant.... that said it was probably about 0°C outside so its understandable

Delightful lunch here at Moonfish. For many years this was a regular lunchtime spot when I worked in Aberdeen Town Centre and I missed it. The food is just as good, and the menu is as interesting as ever. The staff are great, easily and enthusiastically answer questions about the food and take an interest in what we think. This is a small busy place and making a reservation is recommended, the lunchtime helpings are just right for a midday meal. We enjoyed being here, but be aware it's a busy place which can be noisy. Also the booking site give very strict times for occupation of the table. I think we had 1 hour 45 minutes for a table of two - which is more than adequate. No idea if they allow longer in the evenings. Thanks to everyone at Moonfish, and a special thanks to the chef for creating such a great menu!
Ewan D — Google review
The Moonfish Cafe was a excellent introduction to fine dining in Aberdeen. We didn't make a reservation but just added our name to the wait list. We had a 30 min wait and walked over to a pub down the street. The wait was well worth it. The menu was refreshing in that there weren't too many choices and they change often. This type of menu tells you the restaurant concentrates on putting forth high quality food with every meal. I started with the Rarebit appetizer, my main was a filet of beef, and I finished with a cheese plate. The attention to details with every dish was wonderful. Overall, our meal was excellent! We even spent some time talking to Brian, the owner, and he was very hospitable and friendly. Thank you Brian and Moonfish cafe for the wonderful meal!

Magnificent. One of my favourite restaurants in Aberdeen. I had preconceptions before going that the food would be tiny portions and I hoped it wouldn't be overrated. The menu was well thought out, fresh and cooked impeccably. I believe the owner was a finalist on MasterChef and the quality of cooking shows. I'm already looking forward to the next time I come here! Edit: Another trip, this time we had complications with our party being unable to attend and Moonfish were excellent at working around us. The food as ever was exquisite and I still think this is the best restaurant in Aberdeen .

✨ Cafe 52 ✨ Date night with my bestie 💚 It’s been on my wish list for years, and loved it! Heard great things from my Sister and Mum - Thank you both for the recommendation! Loved the decor (and feeling as soon as we stepped in), the staff, the food, and that it was dog friendly… We booked for the Tapas menu, and selected: • Antipasto Platter - Sharing platter for 2 • Black pudding tapas dish • Side of Parsnip chips with Tate & Lyle syrup Loved the first two, and the only wee comment if I had to find one, would be that we found the parsnips were too hard, but the thinner ones tasted delicious. When I come again I’ll be ordering them and will remember to mention as I look forward to trying them again. Would highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Look forward to visiting again soon 🫶✨ Heart (& belly) full 😘 Thank you Cafe52 💜✨

We opted for the 3 course menu which was an absolute bargain. They could have charged at least 10% more and it would still of been great value. Service was top notch, everyone was happy, knowledgeable and especially Tosia who was a delight. Thank you for making our visit to Aberdeen memorable.

Best meal we have had in a long time. We visited on Sunday afternoon to try out the Thai Tapas menu. This includes 5 tapas for £25 with unlimited jasmine rice. Everything was delicious, I couldn’t fault any of the dishes we ordered. The venue itself is stunning inside from the dark wood panelling to the decorations. It always feels like a special occasion when you dine at Chaophraya. A big shout out to Monika, our server, who made the whole experience for us. She was very friendly and attentive, offering recommendations of drinks and dishes. Nothing was ever too much. She told us about upcoming promotions which we may need to take her up on. Overall, we had a great time and left the venue very happy.

A joy. Be careful as the small plates are not a starter and eyes bigger than my belly made the main a struggle! I had the ribs to start and a delight and plentiful. Also had the dumplings that weren’t not what I was expect him and were thick and heavy but gorgeous. North Thai belly pork curry was not the same as in Thailand but still melt in the mouth. If you like Thai then great if you like it in beautiful surroundings then perfect. Staff were perfect.

Chaophraya has become our go-to Thai restaurant, we absolutely love the Birmingham location, so when my friend turned 40, we decided to celebrate at the Aberdeen location. And honestly, it didn’t disappoint! From the booking to the actual evening, everything was smooth. Oil, the manager, was so kind and professional throughout. Jessica W, our server, was lovely and made sure the night ran perfectly. We pre-ordered from the set menu so we could try a bit of everything...the food was fresh, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The drinks and dessert were great too. They even surprised us with a few bottles of chardonnay and cake for the birthday girl, which was such a thoughtful touch. 10/10 would recommend Chaophraya if you're after a tasty, feel-good meal in a beautiful setting. I had a wonderful experience at this extraordinarily flavorful Thai restaurant. The wait staff was super attentive, and my waitperson was very invested in ensuring That my dining experience was perfect We had short discussions about each thing I ordered, and since I like it spicy, she interacted with the chef to make my mango sticky rice, dessert a spicy-sweet delight. Finally, chopped Thai chilies were served alongside fresh, juicy mango And sweet, sticky coconut rice. Delicious! I love it when a restaurant is really interested in your taste, and willing to augment their dishes to suit. I got extra condiments with my main course, which was also delicious. It was pad Thai noodles with a variety of seafood, and the spice was level three, which was absolutely perfect: hot enough for someone who REALLY likes the spice, but not so hot that you couldn’t taste it. My waitperson‘s last name was White, and I think her first name was Jessica, and she was the epitome of what all weight staff should be. A college student, she has a bright future in front of her, and made my solo dining experience even better by sharing a bit of her story with me when I asked. I’m from Houston, Texas, and this was the second time I had the privilege to visit this restaurant, and it certainly won’t be the last. As an added bonus, it was Thai new year, and they gave me a complementary glass of Prosecco.

Can't believe there's Thai food this good this far away from Thailand! I was not expecting much in terms of authenticity of flavours but I was pleasantly surprised. This would put many restaurants in Thailand to shame as well. Set lunch menu was well worth the price point and throw in an amazing ambiance and this place truly impresses. Had the pad thai and pad kra pao and I think its even better than the Mark Wiens version in Bangkok! The massaman curry bao and fried chicken starter were stars in their own right. Portion sizes were very generous so we struggled to finish the amazing mango sticky rice dessert.

We took 2 courses for 66£, we went here due to Google reviews. The dishes are good but the quantities are clearly worth reviewing for the price! we have done several restaurants in Scotland, and this one has cost us much more than on Skye (yet touristy and was an excellent restaurant with local meat like you). We had finished our dishes but we were still hungry, for this price... in short we did not want to be disappointed with desserts that will serve to satisfy our hunger for a price not in line with the portion. The kitchen is good, but if you want to be full, it's not the right place (or starter, main course, dessert)

You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. We decided to return the next day without a booking, and she made the impossible to get us a table. I left with a smile and would definitely come back if I have the chance. Highly recommended! ¡Muchas gracias Dany!

A great place for food and drinks in Aberdeen. Friendly staff and great service. The ambiance is really good. The only small thing is that it was a bit noisy but hey it's great to see places busy and filled with people.

I was taken for Lunch on the 9th of October, which was my birthday. The young lady who served us was attentive Smiley but unobtrusive -Excellent. We both had fillet steak. I had Parmesan French fries as a side. Both our steaks were superb. Apart from one other in the Hilton in Perth, Australia, this steak was the best quality best cook steak I have ever tasted. My husband was a similar We both had crème Caramel as a desert - Lovely The dining room was quiet, so the atmosphere was subdued which suited us. I have difficulty in finding fault - Most unlike me Highly recommended based on this experience

Great and warm atmosphere, Professional personnel! Served food is extremely delicious! Beer is super!Highly recommend place!

The experience was I would describe as mixed. The reason for that was that there was only one member of staff working there during the day which made customer service relatively slow, it isn’t to blame the person working as they were constantly working. They weren’t too happy that we ordered tea and hot chocolate, as they explained it isn’t a place to drink tea, however we wanted to eat their dishes so we wanted to stay, we didn’t drink as both of us for medical reasons couldn’t. The food took about an hour to make, the person also forgot what we ordered so we got a pizza and a hot dog but we actually ordered two hot dogs. We never got our tea, we just had coke. The member of staff was nice and friendly about it and felt bad in a way but I suppose the service wasn’t the best but not the worst. Things do happen and people do forget so it isn’t that big of a deal, he was happy to change it if we needed it changed.

The "Flagship" is a great and must place to visit for an EFP (Equity French Punk). First step in my quest of stamps to complete my intergalactic passport to the global Brewdog bars. Very comfy sofa. Quiet (not loud, so very enjoyable to me) good rock music. With extra amazing beers of course. Professional and very kind young barmaid. Will definitely come back.

This being the first Brewdog bar it is a bit on the cosy side but none the less, the air is filled with the smell of freshly baked pizza, there are great tunes playing and dogs are more than welcome. As you would expect the bar is full of Brewdog's awesome produce so you are spoiled for choice. You can also buy shares at the bar and the place is all on one level so it is wheelchair friendly. Live bands also play here and it can get very busy.

We had such a great time at Brewdog Aberdeen! Stuart and Cameron and all the staff were awesome. The Dog L was particularly lush and the pizza is just more-ish. Updated this review as we have been back again and enjoyed ourselves just as much! Always dog friendly!

I had a good time here. This is a very commendable restaurant. It is conveniently located in the heart of Aberdeen's commercial activities (Union Street) and has wonderful atmosphere. Ordering food was very easy, as I was able to just scan a bar code on a menu and order through my phone. The waiter was very polite and professional, and the food was tasty. I recommend the medium rare steak. I also found the prices to be very reasonable. There is no parking outside, however, as the entrance is located right on the street, so that might be an issue for some people.
Enoch O — Google review
My fish and chips was a disaster. The fish inside the horribly thick batter coating was non existent. The batter tasted of frying oil that was well past its prime. The batter tasted burnt yet strangely soggy inside where it met the fish. Cooked at too high a temperature.... who knows. The staff though were very apologetic
Ozymandias B — Google review
Food was terrible. The chips came out and I asked if they could replace them as they were not fresh. The plate was returned 5 mins later, with the same chips, probably microwaved. I was sick for two days after eating here, don't think it was a coincidence. Staff were average, and before people say you get what you pay for, we choose this Wetherspoon because of two very good experiences in Liverpool and Lo don. Aberdeen, steer clear of this place, plenty of other places to go for an affordable meal.

Gratefully BioCafe is temporarily closed otherwise we would not have walked into this beautiful place. Had the Haggis, Mussels and deep fried pickles to start. Pie of the day (Chicken & Haggis) and the Philly Cheese Steak Wrap with Truffle Fries. Could not alter or change the smallest ingredients, it was all incredible. My partner and I eat out once per day during this time of the year and this is top of our list. The atmosphere and customers were all cheerful and in great spirits. The price for all this plus 4 large soft drinks totalled £67! Incredible. Will be back at least once a month! Thankyou to all the staff and chef! Also candle lit tables, high stools by windows. Beautifully decorated!
Maisie B — Google review
Lovely service. However the roast is below average, pork was dry, roast potatoes and vegetables soft and wet, gravy consistency of water and yorkshire burnt black. Half of our table had the roast and all had the same issues, the others had from the main menu which seemed to be considerably better apart from the corner of black mouldy lettuce in the burger.
L — Google review
Nice atmosphere. The Cajun lintel soup was outstanding as was the chicken and haggis pie. The burger was just OK. I’d suggest toasting the bun, and offering to cook the patty less than well done. Otherwise very nice place

Decent food. I had cauliflower for starters, bacon and blue cheese beef burger for main and sticky toffee pudding. Pudding was great, cauliflower was really good. Burger was fine. Seem to have good selection of drinks. I was on non alcoholic drinks. Staff very friendly

An unassuming place, which I like, a bit of a pub style. That being said, excellent cocktails and food. Some of the best I've had in Aberdeen. Good deals as well, like their midweek Margarita club at £7. And their Sunday roast, 2 + a bottle of red for £45, is a solid value. The staff is helpful with suggestions and lovely. Visiting from Texas, the Scottish mussels were great as well as the lentil soup and the garlic mushroom creme fresh on sourdough. Only caveat is that the kitchen closes at 9pm. But that's pretty normal for the area. Also, great music and atmosphere. Most people that came in were chatty and enjoying their time.
Tyler F — Google review
We walked in on a Tuesday night when the place was nearly empty without a booking, only to be told (kind of rudely) that they were fully booked that night. Alright, that’s fine, we then made a booking for Wednesday for dinner, lo and behold they were completely unbooked, and got seated fairly quickly. We then waited almost an hour for our one appetizer, mussels, which were enormous. For those unaware, typically the smaller mussels have a much better flavour. They were also in this weird super thick cream sauce and were just generally low quality. We then waited almost another 40 minutes for our mains, which were utterly disappointing. My mother’s was the wrong dish entirely (thankfully this was corrected fast). The risotto was essentially just normal rice that had been absolutely smothered in black pepper to the point that it was the only identifiable flavour, and the ribeye steak on top was grey and had no char or flavour. The nachos were soggy almost immediately and the cheese wasn’t very melted. The salmon prawn salad was alright, but was mostly salmon and not enough greens. The burger and chips were actually great, no complaints there, which is the only reason they get 2 stars for food lol. Overall, a wholly disappointing experience, from the wait staff to the kitchen times to the food. Would not recommend.
Gage P — Google review
Made a booking for 1730 for 1.5 hours for food and drinks. The place is a ver nice atmosphere and great food. I had the salmon and prawn risotto, wife just ended up with an appetizer of nachos with cajun chicken, and my kid had a half portion of fish and chips as no actual kids menu, but will tailor a portion size for a child and charge a price for that portion which is very appreciated. My wife said the nachos were some of the best she has had, which is not what you'd expect to find in Scotland. They had lots of cheese and looked very good. The risotto was very good and was one of the several gluten free options on menu. The fish and chips for a half portion was still huge and looked very good. They also had a good drinks menu with some very nice scotches. Highly recommend if stop in Aberdeen or passing through and needing something to eat.

The bar boasts an impressive selection of over 200 bottled beers from around the world and 28 rotating craft beers on tap. Additionally, it offers more than 400 types of Scotch and world whiskies.
I found CASC (Cigars Ale Scotch Coffee) to be a unique bar in the city with a great selection of Craft beers that I haven't seen anywhere else in all of Scotland. It was a refreshing change of pace from the standard pub offering. I only went there for the beer but enjoyed the little bit of cigar smoke aroma outside from other patrons. Had it been earlier in the night, the coffee options looked wondrous.

Great bar. Dan the bartender was excellent in sugesting whiskys to me. He was very helpful. One needs a good guide like him to show you the good stuff. Only got there twice but will be back every time I am in town. Great selection of good whiskys.

Brilliant bar. Loads of awesome ales. Hundreds of awesome whiskys and brilliant staff. If you smoke they also have what a dedicated temperature controlled and dehumidified cigar room.

Big fan of this place. It's in a basement down a granite street by the bus station and has a huge range of beer available, but the big draw is the whisky range which is massive. Staff know a lot about the drink on offer which is always nice to see and are friendly. There's a whisky list on their website to look at as there's no printed one. They also do cigars if that's your thing!

We were in Aberdeen recently visiting family for a few days. We were both hungry and decided to pop in, as the sign outside was advertising fish and chips. The Howff is a great place for a drink or two and good pub grub. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable, making it an excellent choice for family meals or casual night out. The staff are extremely helpful and polite, making this one of the best pubs in Aberdeen.
I genuinely had such a nice experience here today. We had a table booked which I am glad we did as it got busy and it doesn’t have a massive capacity. Good range of food options. Connor and Quinn were fab as our servers. Very polite, attentive and helpful. We were very happy. We will definitely be back. My friend and I were saying that there isn’t much up “that end of union street” to draw in foot traffic but I think if you know how good it is, it is a reason to visit in itself!

Nice and welcoming cellar pub with excellent service and a fine choice of beers. Really a place to go. Just the food was a bit ordinary; definitely not bad and in fact tasty, though it did taste like it was delivered by a "pub food service"
7Stomach M — Google review
Upon walking in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, Quinn who was behind the bar asked if we were in for food or drinks, upon my response of food, they said just to sit anywhere we would like and would pop over to take our orders. The service and friendliness that was given was absolutely warm and perfectly polite, gave us adequate time for deciding on drinks and then again for food. Food was absolutely delicious, superb amount and presented gorgeously. Would highly recommend if want a nice quiet drink and something lovely to drink, or something to eat from the perfect sized menu.

I came in to have dinner with my daughter, and I have to say that my experience was one to be remembered. The food was next level and the fish was definitely fresh, you can tell they have sourced it from somewhere decent, I know as I do a lot of cooking myself. The service was fantastic as we were served quickly with a friendly atmosphere and a really good vibe from the staff. They all have fantastic people skills, one person that went above and beyond was keneshia I believe her name was. She was bubbly, polite and very easy to speak to, I believe with her professionalism and the way she is around others, making you feel safe and accepted, this is a gift, if I ran that place I'd be inclined to offer her a promotion because people with that kind of skills around others are quite hard to come across. I left there feeling happy and full up, this kind of positivity set me up for a really good night, thank you very much guys, I will definitely be returning here and I will be recommending it to my friends!

Visiting Aberdeen and went here twice. Great atmosphere but more importantly great service from the staff. We had food and we all hear “it’s just pub food” but trust me it’s more than that. Wasn’t sure about the name, but absolutely lovely inside! Lovely, efficient staff. Soup of the day: delicious, in a cute tureen, with very fresh bread. Comfy leather chairs, wooden mouldings & decorative wrought iron: olde worlde charm with modern comfort & convenience. So much signed sporting (& musical!) memorabilia! As far as sports bars go, McNasty's lives up to the name with its several wide-screen tvs showing all manner of sports, its dart boards and its sports memorabilia lining the walls at every turn (even the urinals have goal posts in them). Pints pricey can be a tad on the steep end for anything not Tennents (£6 for Madri), but it's still a worthwhile place to visit and the staff are very friendly.

Out for a few drinks with wife on Friday and was so disappointed in the reaction from the bar staff at McNastys. Had an issue with my rum and Diet Coke due to it being super sweat following a dash from the soda gun. Asked the bar maid to change the drink but with a can of Diet Coke which I would pay for. She advised that I would have to pay for the rum also. She proceeded to poor herself a sample Diet Coke from the soda dispenser to prove to herself that there was no issue with the dispenser and that I was lying. I advised that if she was going to charge me for replacing the drink I would just leave, she told me “whatever”. I left and won’t be back.

decent bar love the charlie sheens, however the bouncer hit my hand when i was in the smoking area for trying to turn on the heater and shouted at me. no sign saying not to touch and it hurt my hand. bad
Bethany T — Google review
Decent venue however completely over capacity on the weekend. Struggle to get drinks and see a lot of people struggling to move around the club it’s so uncomfortable and seems like a fire hazard. Also bouncers in this place seem to have no decency, talk down people attending, I’ve seen them physically grab people more than once when it’s just not necessary.

Night club
Sing City is a popular karaoke bar in Aberdeen, known for its top-notch facilities and renowned hospitality. The venue features private rooms that can accommodate up to 30 people, making it ideal for various events such as hen nights, stag nights, birthdays, and corporate gatherings. Guests have praised the enjoyable experience of singing their favorite songs in the private rooms and then moving to the main lounge for more fun.
Jehan was welcoming, friendly and made our night. We had a brilliant night, the room was great and can’t wait to go back. Even though Jehan was on his own nothing was too much for him to make our stay better.
Andrea A — Google review
Having your own room is good, and you could control the volume of not only the song but also the microphones. The owner was friendly and accountable. The reason I’ve given this 2 stars though is the karaoke didn’t work the best, would occasionally stop halfway. Drinks were expensive, and the toilets had a nose numbing smell.
Carla M — Google review
This is a cute little karaoke place with a pleasant environment and a fun theme idea. The karaoke machine interfaces aren't the best, the songs aren't very current and the selection isn't great, but when you do find something you'd like to sing, it's a great time. The controls are quite difficult but you get the hang of it after some time. The drinks are a bit expensive but they're good. The best feature is the staff. Apologies if I've misspelled, but Jehan, Ian, and Nic (I think?) were absolutely amazing. Jehan was so kind and gracious, Ian and Nic were hilarious and so chill. I took my friend here for her birthday and we'd definitely come back!
Audene I — Google review
Diabolical. The sound in the karaoke room was awful. There were no songs anyone asked for. The 🎤 didn't even work. The balance was completely off.The whole experience was awful. I booked it for 3 hours didn't stay. The toilets were disgusting. I will never set foot in that venue ever again. Worst night ever.

Had been promised my nhs discount of an extra hour but it was never added. Machines difficult to use and temperamental. It is cheap though and a decent enough night out if you're with a good group
Hannah M — Google review
First time in a club for Forty years and the music was just the same brilliant night
Alistair T — Google review
Was very disappointed with this place. Online it said all rooms are equipped properly and if you can’t find your song on their selection you can access online- to be told when we were there this wasn’t in our room as it was too far from the router was not ok. The only thing that made this room “Tokyo” themed was the name itself and one black and white photo on the wall. If you are going to advertise it as themed rooms they should be themed! Two mics on the room only one worked. The toilets were totally disgusting with toilet seats broken and very dirty. We paid £60 for three hours and it was a real real let down for my partners birthday suprise.
Meleri T — Google review
This place has the potential to be such an amazing venue but falls short in a few areas. The good points are it’s really nice inside with a large bar and dance area and for the most part lovely staff although one or two need to learn how to smile and at least pretend they’re working and not on a community payback order. The private room experience despite being small and roasting hot was amazing and we all had so much fun. What we found annoying was the insanely dated karaoke computer system and song selection. The touch screen was hard to navigate to find a song but it took me right back to the first generation of smart phones with retro graphics to match. They really need to upgrade their karaoke machines with more up to date tracks. We sometimes struggled to find some classics or newest songs and We couldn’t even find one Christmas song. A Saturday night in December and the place was so quiet when we arrived at 11. When you see the club next door with a queue to get in it’s a real shame as it has the potential to offer an amazing night out.

Opinion is influenced by the quality of the entertainment. Geoff Norcott was great, the staff personable and happy to help and chat and dealt with a wrong'un. An intimate space plenty of leg room and hope to see more acts at The Lemon Tree.

RESTRICTED VIEWING WARNING ⚠️ Hamish hawk gig was fantastic. If your disabled or require a chair you see nothing but bums and heads. Absolutely crammed in at a risk of danger if required to escape in an emergency. Why have 8 large pillars also to negotiate ? Never be back !! The picture attached is well before it got busy.

Brilliant wee venue for a attending a gig. Nice and intimate. Also had 0.5% beer on draft which is fabulous.
Adrienne D — Google review
I've been to many different events at the lemon tree over the years, and it's always been a great venue, especially for live music. Kids over 14 can come along too, which suits me. But the last gig I went to - hell's bells AC/DC tribute - had me scratching my head. For some reason, there now seems to be a queueing system for the bar, albeit a haphazard one. This led, during the support act, to a row of people lined up right across the front of the stage. We know how bars work, and this is not it. Great venue all the same.
David J — Google review
Great venue for live bands, been here several times now and had a brilliant night. Went to see Limehouse Lizzy 11 Oct 2024 they were absolutely amazing, fantastic atmosphere. Can't wait for there return. Next up gigs here I can't wait for is Pork Pie and Gun.

Such a good small venue. Staff were all excellent, beavering away making sure coats were looked after, door was manned with security, loos clean and bar was well staffed. We hung about and couldn't believe how quick they all cleared the mess... Well done staff team!! Small room for the actual concert, it's my fav venue by far for an intimate gig. Newtown Faulkner was awesome as always!! Loved Daisy Veacock also👌 top gig. Drink were fine priced, £6 beer, £6 can and rum..
Laura C — Google review
Small venue, hot and sweaty, different levels to view from. Decent bar and friendly staff.

Brilliant venue for gigs and events with big names. Craig Charles with his Soul and Funk nights, and the Doors Tribute band who are eerily like the real thing. Many big names and acts have started off here, including music acts and comedians. They also do lovely little Operas and Theatre for children, to get them used to culture and music. Always beautifully done, and very reasonably priced. You can also get a Play, a Pint and a Pie for a reasonable price. There's a bar, but it's only open when there's an event on. And I love it just the way it is.

They had a football game on and the place was electric with excitement. I got the fish and chips and my group tried haggis for the first time. The haggis balls are amazing! Why is haggis not more popular?! I would definitely order it again, it was really good. Despite all the activity we were able to find a reasonably quiet spot. The bar staff is super friendly and very helpful. Over all this is a great place to visit, I can't wait to go back.

It gets a 5 for atmosphere, service and drinks, but a 3 for food. They were out of a few things when we visited. What we did have was good - not fantastic, and not bad either. I would recommend this spot for a drink any day for the experience of being in a cool basement bar with pool tables, darts, etc. The fajitas we're good and the Dahl was also good, but I wouldn't recommend ordering it with chicken because it gets grilled separately and placed on top.

Been here a few times now and enjoyed each visit. Been on different days and times and experienced a variety of friendly atmospheres. I have also taken my daughter along often as she has shown an interest in darts. She also LOVES the pizza here, so thats top of her list of reasons for coming to Legends, besides playing darts lol. We have also tried pool too, which has been a fun experience for us both. I love that it's a chilled atmosphere and that I can take my daughter along to play darts and have some food, and an added bonus that, unlike most bars we don't HAVE to order food for children to get in. Definitely recommend! Whether it's for the food, the pool/darts or watching sports on the screens, it's been a good experience 👍 The bar area downstairs 'Bar OneEighty' is also a good place, it has an interactive darts section which my daughter also loved. Where the boards in Legends are free, the interactive ones do cost a little but they are filled with different games to play and records your scores etc.
Louise P — Google review
Decent venue. Good pool tables and dart boards. The darts aren’t the best, but we had great fun. Very reasonably priced. Drinks were good. However, the bartender let the whole experience down. I had paid for 1.5hrs for darts and he gave us one hour. When I told him I had paid for 1.5hrs, he said he would change it later. After the hour had finished, he tried to charge us for another 30mins. His attitude was horrendous. We saw him on his phone, ignoring customers who waited for a drink. We even saw a group of 6 men leave after standing at the empty bar for 15 minutes without even being looked at.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Perfect spot to catch a game with friends — plenty of big screens and a good buzz throughout. The food was tasty (especially the burgers and homemade pizzas) and the drinks were reasonably priced. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Aberdeen!

Brilliant place for a works night out or team building. Relaxed and fun atmosphere with lots of pool tables and dart boards with some really fun dart games to choose from that electronically keep your score. Staff are really friendly and go over and above to make sure your night goes smoothly. Food is fantastic, they can lay on a spread for you (pre-booked) with lots to nibble on (pizzas are amazing). Simply a must place to come 👍

Good pool tables, tasty food, nice bar staff shame the owner goes about being loud shouting orders and bulling the young staff she needs training on how to treat staff. I went here solo as someone out of area as well! And it was great. The bar staff were phenomenal, attentive and just plain good. I brought a book with me and hunkered down at the bar for a couple of hours. There was a real sense of the place being a bit like a speakeasy and being alive with chatter (which was great background noise for my reading). I ended up chatting with some locals at the bar which was great! Proves are about average. The cocktails are lovely. I'm just gutted I didn't get to try the banana cocktail (next time!). It was such a great atmosphere that I didn't want to leave but plans required a moderately good bed time! I will be back!

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent visit to your venue. Despite our reservation for a group of 14, our designated area was not ready upon arrival, we had to clear the table of empty drink glasses ourselves and another group occupied the space refusing to leave. Efforts to resolve the situation were met with delays and inconvenience. Furthermore, settling the bill revealed an unfortunate error – a charge for the drinks of the previous occupants at our table. We noticed this mistake after paying, as we settled the bill together for the sake of efficiency on a busy night. We brought this billing error to the attention of your staff, but regrettably, there has been no acknowledgment of your mistake or resolution. The £50 voucher offered in compensation falls significantly short of covering the over £100 in wrongly charged drinks. Additionally, the voucher is not helpful, as our disappointing experience makes a return visit undesirable. It's important to note that a member of our group is allergic to cinnamon, so we are certain we did not order some of the cocktails listed on the bill. This experience has left us dissatisfied, and we cannot recommend your establishment to others. We anticipated a higher level of service and accuracy in billing.

Great place to have drinks. Surprisingly the food here is amazing too!! Highly recommend the wings and chicken burgers. Their chicken are amazing and juicy. On Wednesdays they have wings for only 25p each! The service was great and fast. The staff were friendly. It's a friendly, nice, student dominated bar. Can be very busy in the weekends. The place has quite a lot of tables and chairs but will be full in the weekends. Will definitely be coming back for the wings on Wednesdays!

I’ve been to the Bobbin before and it was a decent pub. Pretty loud, college scene which is great. Previously I had fairly slow service but they’re always super busy and having worked on a restaurant myself I understand completely. However, today I went on Wing Wednesday with a group of friends and we were served 26 completely burned cauliflower wings. I can’t even imagine serving a customer burned food at my workplace and the fact that a manager put the burned food down on our table without a second thought really makes me worry about the rest of the restaurant if the culture is one where this is acceptable even to management. Again, I don’t think it’s always this bad but today I was really disappointed.

Brilliant little wee bar in the city centre. The staff are very welcoming and friendly towards its punters. I love to come here on a Saturday afternoon to hear the laughs from Andy and the other regulars. Cracking pint of Tennants you get here too! PS Glentanar is a big believer in supporting local businesses in Aberdeen, hence why I choose to come here because it's independently run, and it's not owned by another company like Greene king etc which most pubs in Aberdeen are, which is draining the life out of these pubs sadly. Keep up the good work guys! 🍻

We sampled a variety of small plates, meat & cheese board (pictured), with my personal favourite being the salmon and truffle on sourdough—it was absolutely delicious. We had a refreshing Riesling that complimented our dishes which had been suggested by the host, and later enjoyed cocktails. We’ll definitely be back, not just to explore the intriguing tinned fish and tasting menu, but also to peruse the striking art on display.

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Faffless during our trip to Aberdeen. Brought in by the name, we extremely well looked after by Craig who entertained us for hours with his extensive wine knowledge and brutally dry humour. It was the perfect spot for exploring new wines and enjoying some meat, cheeses and tinned fish on a Sunday afternoon post-flat hunt. We'll definitely be back for more !

What a great gastronomy experience we've had today in 'Faffless' restaurant! For our appetizer green olives were delicious. The bean salad & Fries & peppercorn sauce were very good. Surprised us the Roasted Bone Marrow that was extraordinarily tasty. Today, for the first time we tried Monkfish Citrus Chilli Coriander and it was tasty! Also the vine and local beer that we ordered was good too! Thank you guys for your service and good luck to your business! 🙂

I could rave about Faffless forever. It is a spot that brings life to Aberdeen. My partner and I have dined here twice, once in the winter season, and recently at the end of the summer season. The menu selection both times have been immaculate, and we ordered one of every plate! Each dish is curated with a sense of balance between all its components, and allows the diner to get involved with creating your own perfect bite, picking and choosing from different flavours of the dish. The staffs knowledge of wine pairings is great, because I’m not a huge fan of wine, or alcohol in general, but Craig let my partner and I taste a couple, and I was able to find a genuine favourite, that I’ll be asking for at every restaurant now. On both occasions, the staff have been so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. Our last visit was for a special occasion, and Dominic was kind enough to get some photos of my partner and I, a beautiful memory we’ll get to keep forever, in a place we’ll always think of dearly. Thank you!!

Faffless was a complete surprise during our stay in Aberdeen. Usually spots that have a food and wine pairing have mediocre food and average wine - or the other extreme at an exuberant price point. Faffless hit the perfect spot with absolutely delicious food (kudos to the chef!) paired with impressive wines. Craig provided background on each of the wines and why he chose each to go with the dish. Craig has a wealth of knowledge and very approachable - so don't be afraid to ask about the offerings or for a recommendation. Mine would be: check out Faffless the next time you're in Aberdeen. (Sorry no photos - we were too busy enjoying the food, wine, and great company. Old school retro, I know!)

Faffless is a unique venue in Aberdeen, I decided it was the place for my 40th. It was so nice to have the private room which was spacious and created a great atmosphere. The staff are so friendly, made the organising process so easy and provided everything needed. Most of all the food and wine were top notch. I could recommend this place highly enough.

Amazing host, amazing food and amazing wines and whiskey’s! Can’t recommend it enough. We had a great evening, the best of our holiday in Scotland.

We had stumbled across the bar below Faffless the week before. We then decided to try out the upstairs. When we arrived it was a bit haphazard as to where to sit as the waiting staff were not that clear. Became apparent they were new so that explained a lot. We sat down and I would have liked to have been given a run down of the ethos of the place and what to expect. In fairness we could have asked but didn’t. We eventually got that by overhearing the owner explain this to a table of 6 that arrived. He explained that it was a wine bar primarily and their speciality was wine and some small plates including tinned fish and crackers. Will definitely go back for that experience. So we now knew a bit more about the place tip would be that all wait staff should explain this as it makes you feel a bit more at home. We eventually did have a conversation with the owner who was very knowledgeable and passionate and it was great to hear/see. This time we opted for the 4 courses option and chose our items. This is where the place shone for us. Each course was fantastic, we had parfait on sourdough, soup which was onion again never told what it was and never asked. Then had Mackeral starter which was sublime, fresh cooked piece of Mackeral on top of an apple and veg salsa with chilli. Honestly the flavours and freshness of the fish were brilliant. For mains we had Cod with asparagus and pea risotto and Venison. Again both dishes were cooked to perfection and I had the Venison which can often be over cooked this wasn’t and even my partner who doesn’t like Venison tried it and said they thought it was lovely. I had a taste of the risotto and it was beautiful. All dishes were perfectly seasoned and all packed a flavoursome punch. We also had a lager and bottle of Picpoul de Pinet. We then went to the bar down stairs which is called Bonne Nuit and is Aberdeen’s only Absinthe bar where you can experience Absinthe cocktails as well as an array of fine wines and spirits and lager. Overall had a lovely time and will return.

Malones Irish Bar is a vibrant spot that perfectly captures the essence of an authentic Irish pub experience. Known for its lively atmosphere, it's an ideal destination for sports enthusiasts looking to catch live games while enjoying a wide selection of drinks. Although Malones doesn't serve food on-site, patrons can conveniently order delicious Aberdams smash burgers and Dutch fries from nearby vendors, ensuring you won't go hungry during your visit.
We were served by Sarah behind the bar, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment we walked in, she was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service made the evening a pleasurable one. Sarah saw us watching the F1 highlights on our phone and kindly switched the TV channel over so we could watch it on the big screen. We travelled up from Yorkshire so we didn’t know where to go but found our drinking spot which once we found this bar. Sarah shared our enthusiasm for Ducks which I’m sure you will find dotted around the pub 😁 We didn’t order food so I can’t rate or comment on that.

Fantastic local pub! 2 minutes from the train/bus station and was just beside the hotel. They had great live music with several different musicians throughout the week we stayed. Friendly staff and a great pint of Guinness would be one of the not to miss pubs of Aberdeen!
Chloe — Google review
Great pub 5min walk from train station. Although it's named an "Irish pub", they also offer local Scottish craft beers. I love the outside garden sittings with umbrella street view. I didn't got chance to stay for live music as I needed to catch my train, but I will definitelly came back when I will be in Aberdeen again.

It’s a good pub if you like watching Sports. I was there watching the rugby. I ordered some food via the QR code. It was delicious haggis poutine.

Staff were horrible here! As someone who works in hospitality I have never been so appalled at the way the staff spoke and acted towards me. In particular the woman ‘manager’ was so rude and her tone of voice was so aggressive and unpleasant. The younger woman who served me again was awful. I will never return to this bar purely based on those two women who ruined our experience. As a hospitality brand the whole team was shocked and I would not recommend this pub. If you are looking for a friendly pub then I’d recommend Ma Cameron’s! Such a lovely friendly welcome and great ambience

Black Dog is a popular spot in Bridge of Don, known for its fantastic meals and exceptional customer service. The staff goes above and beyond to provide food and drink recommendations, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. The lounge offers table service, allowing visitors to relax while being served. Additionally, the MiXR app rewards patrons with points that can be redeemed for complimentary meals and drinks. Families appreciate the friendly staff and kids' menu, as well as entertainment options like jigsaws.
We had a fantastic family lunch at Black Dog last week! The restaurant is located on the Bridge of Don in Aberdeen, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I had the chicken tikka masala with nan bread and rice 🍚, and it was one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. My kids ordered chicken burgers 🍔 and nuggets, and they were equally impressed. If you're looking for a great place to eat in Aberdeen, I highly recommend Black Dog!

Lovely place to watch football with beer. Very kind staffs and a number of large screens. There are pool table, darts, and some playing machines. One thing you might need to keep in your mind - the kitchen’s last order for foods is 7:45pm, so be there earlier than that if you would like to bite some chips.

The Hop & Anchor is a great pub in Aberdeen which serves excellent food and quality beers. The staff are friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs, and the location is perfect for those looking for good parking or who want to visit the merchant quarter of Aberdeen.
The seafood shovel is a special treat. Great flavour and super fresh. Get your fingers dirty! Will need to come back to try the meat one. Bar has great casual vibe. Came on a football so it’s quite empty. Like that they don’t blast the music too loud. Great for chats. Come before they inadvertently ups the price as all things go.

The place was very quiet when we went there, but the way it looks is nice. The tables are slightly low to be able to place your legs under some of them. The food was nice but I do wish for portions to be larger or have more of actual product rather than vegetables. Not many options for cider, only two. The customer service was good, and food was made relatively quickly. The cleanliness of items could be improved on as the cups had dirt on them which is not nice.

You can taste super yummy Sri Lankan foods from Exchange pub. We loved the shovel seafood experience. The service of the staff is superb. Had a chance to enjoy the delicious foods. Sometimes they do have DJs as well as duo singing. You Must try the shovel❤️

Popped in for a drink and a snack. Initially no one was at the bar. We're finally served by a lovely young man. The food was nice but expensive (£6.95 for 3 prawns and a shriveled lump of limp green stuff). No atmosphere despite it being a beautiful building. No music to speak of. Sadly lacking....is it a bar or a restaurant? No cutlery until we asked for it and napkins might not have been produced but the nice bar man 'double checked'. Doubt we will return.
Anna O — Google review
I’m unsure why this place was so empty on a Saturday night as it had decent drinks and food - including a couple vegetarian options - at a reasonable price, in a nice atmosphere, and with decent service.
Becky T — Google review
We came here on a quiet Monday night, but realising that it was 'Restaurant Week'. Instead of the normal menu, it was a very short menu of Sri Lankan food. So glad it was! Absolutely delicious. One of the best curries I've had in a long while. Loved the stringhoppers, which I've never had before. A very pleasant surprise!
