Extended stay hotel
San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel is a luxurious retreat with a rich history. Once a monastery, it has been frequented by iconic figures like Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren. The hotel's historical significance is evident in its architecture and design, including courtyards and monastic cells. Situated on a rocky promontory overlooking the Ionian Sea with Mount Etna on one side and the ancient Greek theatre on the other, this hotel offers breathtaking views.
I had a lovely stay at the San Domenico Palace. Too bad I couldn't stay longer without sending myself to the poorhouse. Although my room was on the smaller side and in direct line of sight to a restaurant balcony, the view was still spectacular. Even the bathroom had a great view. The Staff was super friendly and accommodating and the property itself is superb, however I think so much more can be done to the courtyard. It's a bit underwhelming. The breakfast buffet was also very nice, even though you pretty much have to arm wrestle to get a table on the balcony. No one seems to leave. The pool is also super tiny for the size of the hotel, especially since the beach aka all rocks, no sand, is not close. If you want a spot, go early.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was outstanding—every staff member was incredibly respectful, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and filled with a fresh, elegant scent that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The facilities are exceptional: the pool, the spa, and every detail of the hotel are simply amazing. Everything is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and luxury. This is truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was our second time visiting the San Domenico Palace for drinks, and once again, everything was absolutely perfect. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere elegant, and the service impeccable. The staff were extremely attentive, making us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our visit. A special thanks to Juri, who went out of his way to ensure we felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment, his warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Whether for a relaxed aperitif or a special evening drink, the San Domenico Palace continues to exceed expectations. We look forward to coming back again!

10 star experience! WOW! What a phenomenal property and people. My husband & I have stayed in some luxurious places around the world and this one is at/near the top. We enjoyed every second during our recent stay. The grounds were gorgeous and immaculate, the interior was like walking through a modernized monestary with the addition of beautiful art pieces, the food was exquisite, the infinity pool offers breathtaking views over the sea and Mt Etna, and the staff were SUPURB! Our room and bathroom were HUGE and had this dreamy frangrance that I miss coming home to. We were greeted with beautiful red rose petals on our bed, a bottle of champagne, and this incredible raspberry mousse and fruit upon our arrival as it was out honeymoon. What an unexpected gesture that was so gracious and generous! I cannot recommend this property enough. I hope we have the opportunity to return one day. Thank you Four Seasons San DOmenico. We love you and miss you!

This was the first time I’ve ever encountered a hotel bar that required a minimum spend. Since when does a hotel bar do that? It feels unusual and not very welcoming, especially for guests who just want to enjoy a casual drink without being pressured to spend a set amount. Definitely not the kind of experience I would expect from a hotel bar.
Kevin J — Google review
The hotel is gorgeous. Not huge but good size. The rooms were clean, elegant and had all the accessories you need. The hair dryer was awesome!! They clean your room twice a day! Not necessary but nice. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and happy. I loved that.
Sariah D — Google review
We made reservstion, but did not stay there. However, the service was second to none. A bit pricey. But they think they are the top of the top. So you pay for what you want. A day there, drinks and dinner will set you back a couple of Benjamins. The ground are really nice. It was worth the memories.
Juan V — Google review
Beautiful and unique hotel in a picturesque Sicilian coastal city with Mt Etna smoking in the background and an Ancient Greek theatre a short walk away. The hotel is a former monastery and Four Seasons has done a great job leaving enough artifacts around that it feels special.

Verdura Resort, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is an upscale golf resort in southern Sicily offering a private beach, spa, infinity pool, sport academies and a gym. The resort features two 18-hole championship courses and a smaller 9-hole option designed by golf architect Kyle Phillips. Situated between the Greek temples of Agrigento and Selinunte, it offers stunning views of rolling hills along the shore.
Verdura hotel Rocco Fořte Sicilia, A stunning hotel in a truly magical location. The food in all the restaurants was excellent – from breakfast to dinner, always fresh and beautifully presented. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive at every step. The beach is well-maintained, clean, and offers perfect service, with the sea being pleasant and ideal for swimming. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, with air conditioning and impeccable service – always clean and fresh. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a combination of luxury, comfort, and Sicilian hospitality. I will definitely be happy to return!

Played here on a day trip down from Palermo! Four of us played and two enjoyed the day pass to resort facilities. Golf was excellent. East Course was challenging and very scenic! A little dry but the weather has been HOT. Loved it. Our party enjoyed the resort facilities and had a great time. Service was excellent, Tom the pro repaired my ledge and leant me his own after it had broken earlier in my trip - a touch of class. Staff were great. Highly recommend coming for a game if you’re in Sicily. Well worth it.

We enjoyed our stay very much from the first minute to the last. Friendly staff, amazing local food, tranquility and peace, and amazing sunsets. Getting to ride a bike every day made it a special and fun experience for us. Only downside was the condition of the golf course, but staff explained it to us proactively. They even had a special suprise for our anniversary ready. Definitely recommend 💯 and will come back for sure!

Verdura Resort – A Honeymoon to Remember! What a place! My wife and I are coming to the end of our honeymoon at Verdura, and it was fantastic. The staff were brilliant and are always smiling despite working hard and long hours. The facilities were excellent; I really enjoyed playing the West Course, even though the condition was not great due to the drought and my wife loved her spa treatment. We would both love to return, the spa for her, and me to try the other course! We would 100% recommend this place, but do remember to bring your wallet!
Willem S — Google review
Overall great experience! Pool is beautiful, service was great. The golf course was very sub par, especially for the price. There were yellow jackets on all the greens, lots of first if you miss a fairway, and there's very little amenities around it. The bar restaurant near the golf shop we thought was sub par. But we enjoyed biking around the resort, the pool, the beach, and more.

We just spent 9 days at the RF Verdura resort. Exceptional location, facilities and services. Very attentive and friendly staff. A large number of staff seem to have worked there for many years which shows in their care and attention to the guests. The head sommelier Nando Papa was exceptional and a true professional. We will be back!

Giuseppe trained me in a HIIT class. He customized the workout to my fitness level, payed attention to proper technique without taking too much time away from my workout, challenged me while providing modifications for my bad back. I do fitness classes 5 days per week in Chicago and his was equally as good. For reference, I am at a high fitness level. I highly recommend that you take one of Giuseppe classes or sign up for a personal training session! Great fitness facility and spa as well!

Hotel
Nestled on the Sicilian coast in Campofelice di Roccella, just 50 km from Palermo, Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa is an upscale beachfront retreat. The resort boasts four a la carte restaurants and one buffet, along with five bars and a spa offering various massage treatments. With free WiFi in public areas, this resort caters to families, couples, and friends seeking privacy and direct beach access.
Our experience at the Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa has been absolutely wonderful. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained but what truly stands out is the exceptional service. We’d like to give a special thank you to Samuele and Dania at Guest Services. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a real difference in our stay. They were always ready to help with a smile and made us feel genuinely cared for. It’s staff like them who elevate a vacation into something unforgettable. 100/100 would recommend this hotel!
Juliette A — Google review
This is a nice hotel with good pools and private beach access. The food and drink quality included in the price is high. It would be 5 stars if it were not for two issues: 1. The restaurants (not buffet) need to be booked after check in. We stayed for 4 nights and there was no availability at any restaurant for any time. I think you’ll have the same issue if you stay less than 5 nights. I think you can pay an additional fee to book early, but this is not clear, and I don’t think this should be the case for a 5 star hotel. 2. The entertainment we saw was not great. We saw a dance show and a band and a musicals night. The first two were pretty low standard and many people walked out. Whilst I appreciate staff from across the resort are supporting this, the performances could have benefitted from an outside professional eye. The Friday night musicals night was much better - more could be done for the other weekdays (not everyone stays for Friday and Saturday). Overall we had a really good and relaxing time, though, and appreciated the little touches made for our honeymoon.
Theo B — Google review
It's a nice 4 star hotel. Not 5, like booking claims, for sure. It has its pros and cons and it's up to you to decide if it's worth the money. The most important - the food is amazing! If you're there for the food, it's your choice! If you want some entertainment- there is almost none. There are discos and shows in the evening but the sound quality is awful and the shows are amateurish - they're not done by professional performers but by the hotel's employees... the ping-pong looks like it's a billion years old, the mini golf is unplayable and there's nothing else to do.... the buildings and the territory are rather rundown and not extremely well-kept... The rooms are big and nice, but it's not worth paying extra for the pool view - you'll get a tree in front and no view, just the noise from the pool. The service is fast and efficient but some of the staff at the buffet restaurant aren't very nice. It's very clean, though. The location could be better... the sea was really beautiful only 1 day out of 7, all the others it looked like nothing special. The beach is not well-kept and looks very sad... Moreover, the hotel's in the middle of nowhere so it's not easy to get there from the airport and there's nothing to do around - you can just go to Cefalu for a couple of hours. But if you wanna hang out near the pool and eat well - it's a great place for you.

We had an amazing stay at Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa! 🌴 The check-in was smooth and friendly, and we were even upgraded to a better room for free — such a lovely surprise. The room was spotless, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The food at the buffet and à la carte restaurants was absolutely delicious — and as a vegan, I was truly touched that the chefs prepared special dishes just for me. Thank you so much! 🥗 The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and never intrusive. The bars and cocktails were excellent, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the resort, and the spa experience was so relaxing. I also loved the hotel app — it made it super easy to book restaurants, check schedules, and order room service. If I could suggest anything, it would be nice to have YouTube access on the TV and a slightly cheaper airport transfer — but those are tiny details compared to the wonderful time we had. Highly recommended for a relaxing, luxurious, and genuinely welcoming vacation! 🌞✨

We were here in august and we had such a great stay. Everyone smiling and helpful, we also attended the cooking class in the garden and it was a beautiful experience! On our arrival Federica welcomed us in a such lovely way. We will come back next summer 😍

Staying at this hotel with my husband and 2 young daughters and we think it is incredible, the service, the food, the staff are all lovely too. In particular, I had a massage in their spa by Dario and it was incredible. I have a herniated disc and explained this to him so he gave a sports massage all over (excluding the sore area) and I’m feeling so much better as he has released tension in my legs and upper back/neck too. He is extremely professional and I’m here for another 5 days so will go back to him, thank you so much Dario.
Jo B — Google review
Overall the experience was poor. I booked as a Signature Level guest but was routinely treated worse than all-inclusive guests. Guest Services were contacted five times before the mini fridge was restocked — this took three days, despite daily restocking being part of the Signature Level package. Fridge was not consistently restocked after sorting it out. The Signature pools were unusable. Although the hotel’s policy prohibits reserving pool chairs, guests left personal belongings to hold spots, and staff refused to enforce the rules. At one point, 15 chairs were reserved and unused. Room The air conditioning was inadequate. Room temperature remained at 23°C and would not cool further, even after reporting the issue to Guest Services. Cleaning was consistent and thorough. Toiletries were acceptable, and towels and sheets were replaced daily. The in-room hair dryer was weak and ineffective. Shower water pressure and temperature fluctuated unpredictably, both during peak and off-peak hours. Restaurants Restaurant access requires booking through the hotel’s app. Without advance reservations before arrival, options are extremely limited. Service was disorganised — meals were forgotten, and staff focused on upselling rather than service. Signature status offered no priority; non-Signature Level all-inclusive guests cut ahead, were seated, and served first. On one occasion, we were refused entry after a non-Signature Level group pushed in and was seated before us. Gym and Facilities Dumbbells: 2.5–25 kg Kettlebells: 8–32 kg Two cable machines (one out of service for an extended period) Five bikes, three treadmills Two outdated ab machines Hours: 08:00–20:00 only (not 24 h) No access for under-16s Sweat room and sauna require additional paid access; one complimentary session is included for Signature guests Beach The beach is rocky with strong dumping waves; it requires an experienced swimmer to get past the break and into the surf safely. The same chair-reserving culture seen at the pools applies here — chairs are held with personal belongings and are rarely available. When Guest Services were approached again about these issues, no resolution was offered beyond repeated apologies. Other notes Laundry service is available but expensive; there is no self-service laundry option for guests. The website states there are six pools, but there appear to be only five, including the children’s pool. Conclusion I do not recommend staying here.
BandtRu — Google review
The hotel has potential to be good or great however, the rooms are very dirty. Shower has mold all over it, ants in room, nats in room, very dirty AC filter, room had a musty mildew smell upon arrival and could not get rid of it. My first and second night of sleeping there woke up super congested and the third night woke up super sick 😫. The restaurant staff were super polite but when they clear your table when your done and get it ready for the next people they do not clean with any type of cleaner. I have a weaker immune system so I sanitized offer. I saw people sneeze, cough, pick there nose and wype it on and do it towards the table. Very disappointed, I tried to stay positive but after getting sick it was not enjoyable. Alot of people were getting sick or having coughs.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, WiFi, and a private kitchen, all while boasting picturesque sea views. This resort / B&B is highly recommended. We could have stayed longer. A beautiful beach near by, supermarket, restaurants and pharmacy in easy-to-walk distance. The hotel staff assists in perfect English and in a very caring manner. Very delicious breakfast. Next time, we will stay there again. Thank you!

Very new hotel y a very quiet zone. The beach is at 20 meters. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and new. Sockets to connect mobiles directly are available in the rooms. Service is very kind and polite. Air conditioners are in all rooms and are very silent. Some rooms have a very large balcony.

To say that this resort is very well run, beautiful, in a convenient location, near all the amenities one may need, is an understatement. The owner, Mr Pietro, and his team are utterly helpful and no request is too much to handle. Rooms and facilities are super clean, attention to detail at Covid times is excellent and extras such as Sky, Netflix etc. make the overall profile exceed the official 4-star rating. The views from the Panarea, and especially the Salina junior suites (3rd floor) and Lipari (very large suite on 2nd floor) are breathtaking. Sound insulation perfect throughout. Highly recommended.

(Translated by Google) We stayed in a ground floor apartment near the sea. With 2 steps you were on the beach, a very nice place where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The beach is pebbled and the water is beautiful. We found the apartment a little old but well-kept and clean. The negative part: to go to the pool we had to cross the road. The pool is beautiful but there is no bar next to the pool where you can buy an ice cream, a beer or a drink. The staff is very kind and helpful. The last unfortunately negative thing is that I had windows on the street and at night it was almost impossible to sleep. Too much noise and the single-glazed windows do not take out any noise. However, all in all if they fix a few things the place is nice.

Nestled in the serene surroundings of Biancavilla, Podere Dell'Etna Segreta - Essential Nature Hotel & Glamping is a charming retreat just 32 kilometers from Catania's Piazza del Duomo and 21 kilometers from Etnaland Theme Park. This cozy hotel room spans 22 square meters and accommodates up to three guests, featuring modern amenities like air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom.
We had the most wonderful stay at this charming little wine farm! The location is perfect—just far enough from the city to enjoy the peace and quiet, but close enough to still feel connected. The views of Mount Etna in the distance were breathtaking, adding to the magic of the place. The staff were so warm and kind, and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Traveling with a 2-year-old can sometimes be tricky, but they made us feel right at home, which we appreciated so much. I truly hope we get the chance to come back again one day. And a special mention for their wine—it's absolutely fantastic!

Perfect getaway for couples and those seeking peace From the room to the food – everything was perfectly taken care of. The family running the place is incredibly kind and approachable. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and nothing is too much to ask. Their warm, personal approach made us feel right at home. The price/quality ratio is excellent. An ideal spot for anyone looking for peace, charm, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for couples and tranquility seekers!

!!!! FRAUDULENT, STAY AWAY!!!!! EDIT: Shortly after posting this review (original can be read below), I get a message by the owner „about the bottle of wine we drank in the room“ that he charged on my credit card a day after we left. We did NOT touch the wine. Perhaps instead of trying to influence reviews they should work on how they conduct their business. Disgraceful and pathetic. I hope this review helps you make your decision whatever way you think is best. Even without being overcharged this place is not worth the money. ———————— + Rooms are nice, well made and comfortable - Breakfast can hardly be called that. You get a list to choose from and half of what we ordered was not what we received. - Photos of the pool and common areas are A LOT nicer than the reality - upon arrival we were told by the receptionist the water from the tap is not drinkable but there is water in the fridge. She left out the fact that is was more expensive than in any restaurant we had been to thus far. Cannot judge about the restaurant and food, we did not eat here. Generally, the area surrounding the hotel is not what we expected. Dirty, ugly towns and little options for good food. We left early.

I can't speak to the rooms as we didn't stay here. However we did have dinner here and it was out of thia world good! The chef makes everything in house, and they were very accommodating for my vegetarian needs. They showed us around the grounds when we arrived and told us a little history of the old wine press from the 1600's. Thanks for such a great experience!

This hotel is truly exceptional — one of the best I've ever experienced. The attention to detail and warm hospitality of the Grasso family, who owns and operates this place, make it truly stand out. From curated decor to thoughtfully arranged amenities, everything here feels carefully designed to offer comfort and relaxation. Breakfast in bed is a treat, and the on-site restaurant serves incredible local foods and wines, many of which are produced right on their beautiful property! The Grasso's have crafted a genuine, peaceful haven that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings of Mt. Etna

Mario, Emma, Francesca, and the entire family are delightful to have met! This restaurant is a true gem—a delight for the palate, a balm for the soul, and a peaceful respite for the eyes and ears. Quiet, lovely, delicious, and unique. With a weekly, changing menu (created by a very talented young chef), a fantastic farm wine, and alluring scenery to be indulged, this restaurant has quickly taken its place as out local favorite. Truly a precious, unmatched family of talented members...

We were charged twice! The owner charged us before arrival and claimed we did not pay during checkout. We could prove our payment by bank statements but he didn’t accept and charged our visa card again without our knowledge or approval. He even threatened with calling the police! Food was mediocre and way overpriced! Owner was rude. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Horrible experience!

TH Gioiosa Marea - Capo Calavà Village is a seafront hotel offering all-inclusive packages with a private beach area and an outdoor pool. The hotel is located near the Teatro Massimo and Palermo's historic district, where visitors can explore large outdoor markets like Capo. Guests can enjoy buffet dining at the hotel. While some guests found the rooms spacious and clean, others were disappointed with the food options, wishing for more variety beyond vegetables.
The overall impression is very positive. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and professional. The room was clean and tidy, with daily cleaning service. There were some minor issues with water pressure and temperature control, and it could get a bit noisy in the evenings due to the entertainment program, but nothing critical. The hotel grounds are large and well-maintained, so it doesn’t feel crowded. The surrounding nature is beautiful. And once again, the staff really deserves praise.

Super holiday with excellent food, rooms were clean with working air conditioning, staff were perfect. Unfortunately the animation was only in Italian, but we still went to the evening program in the theater. Walking access is unfortunately poor, you can walk to one beautiful view with sturdy shoes which is 1,5km away, otherwise I don't recommend walking along the road. The hotel area is large, there are plenty of sports facilities like tennis, football, beach volleyball, etc. There is a van from the hotel to the town of Gioiosa Marea, 3km away. The beach and the sea were clean. I was just annoyed with the substrate, it was coarse sand and pebbles in the sea, which is not ideal for me, but lots of people enjoyed it. Overall I rate the holiday positively, my biggest regret was the walkability of the area, I am an active type and it would have enhanced my experience of the place even more. Thank you to the staff for a super holiday 👍.

Positives: Hotel has the nice beach with clear sea. There are enough beach umbrellas and sunbeds. Rooms have sea view. Good food and cofee. Negatives: Hotel is far from the airport (approx. 3 hours by bus) and there is no possibility to walk anywhere outside (there is only road without sidewalk), moreover there is no “small city” to visit/walk/buy suvenirs etc. No suitable place for people for fitness runners (if they don`t want to run on the beach). However, the most unpleasant for us was that the staff did not treat us non Italians as good as Italians, e.g. when we wanted to take sandwich for lunch for our sick sons, they “caught” us and when did Italians the same, they closed eyes. Especially during the breakfast, there were many Italian seniors who took “second” breakfast into their bags and left the restaurant through side door… btw. it is hotel with AIl Inclusive… Besides, Italians don`t respect the queue for coffes, food etc. On the leaving day, the brekfast menu was very poor. During the lunch it was hard to find free table in case we came later and we had to wait and ASKED for cleaning the table when somebody finished. Czechs get rooms on the top, for some seniors or people with limited mobility it could be problem ( not for us). Guests must count with the loud music and fun activities only in Italian - it is hotel primarily for Italians.

The food, the atmosphere, the beach and the accommodation were excellent. However, the waitress with the black eyebrows left a very negative impression. Her attitude was unprofessional and it seemed as if serving guests was a burden for her. This completely spoiled the overall experience. Because of this, I would not return.

The stay at this resort was great. Lots of animation programs for both children and adults. The menu at the bar was sufficient. The food was really amazing. Italian specialties, fine dining, I really have never encountered such a luxurious offer in a hotel restaurant. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very modest and the same every day. The beach is totally unsuitable for people with limited mobility, it was very difficult to get into the sea and then climb back to the beach. We had big waves most of the stay which was great. The sea calmed down on the last day, but unfortunately jellyfish appeared and burned our daughter. Upon our arrival we were given a room that absolutely did not meet our requirements. It was not tidy, there was a tiny window and no terrace or balcony. Our children did not fit on the bunk bed. It took two days to get an adequate room. After that, everything was fine. It would be better to add more English language to your program. Italian is beautiful, but there are also guests in the hotel who do not speak Italian. And I believe that it would be very beneficial for all of us and we would enjoy our vacation as much as possible.
Martina K — Google review
Rooms are OK bit outdated, but clean. Only few people speak English, receptionist a bit, entertainment only in Italian language, bar staff speak only Italian. Very difficult for us to ask something as we are not Italian speaking. Also Italians have different colour wrist band as people from other countries. Food only home kitchen, missing international spacial for kids as our daughter eaten only vegetable all 7 days, because she is young and doesn't want to try what she doesn't know. Location is beautiful, you can go for trips (bit expensive) or you can hire car. But around is nothing as it's small village, no shops nothing. If you have kids and no entertainment in other languages and nowhere to go it's quite difficult.
Andrea Á — Google review
I think that the place is 10/10, the rooms were big and clean and there were kind people on the bar. The ocean was clean. But the food was not that good in my opinion... a lot of vegetables and only a bit of meat and those kind of things... for example where are the chicken nuggets, the french fries and things like that... I think it should be everyday, I don't eat only vegetable for dinner at home... And why there are alkoholic drinks at 12am and not already at the 10am like the non-alkoholic drinks? It does not make any sense for me... And the last thing... why you want from the guests to wear a swimming hat in swimming pool? I was in like 35 hotels with swimming pool already and noone wanted me to wear a swimming hat... I think it is fine hotel, but just not excellent... You deserve 4*/5* I think.

I experienced this lovely place on a corporate retreat in September '21. I can assure you that covid safety was well respected by all members of staff. As for the experience, it was phenomenal! From hikes nearby, to the beach, to water activities, to basketball, football, volleyball etc, this campus has it all. The dining area was massive and the kitchen staff were extremely friendly and good at their job. It's been easy to cook for 300+ ppl! Fun tips: If you need further help with boats, wear a Liverpool kit and Alberto will take care of you :). And if you ever need further assistance in the dining area, ask for Cristina, she went over and beyond in helping us out. All in all, this area is as calm as it could be exciting, depending on what you're after. Would definitely come back here again, in a heartbeat.

Castello San Marco hotel & spa is a refined 17th-century castle set in a 10-acre park on the coast, just a 20-minute drive from Taormina. The hotel offers elegant rooms in bungalows within its grounds, featuring open showers and modern amenities. Guests can enjoy the pool, private beach access, and a restaurant serving seasonal organic dishes. The property also boasts a spa with rejuvenating treatments.
We recently stayed at Castello San Marco Charming Resort & Spa, and it was an unforgettable experience! Traveling with an infant can be challenging, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were exceptionally accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely friendly, which made our stay feel like a true getaway. The property itself is stunning—a perfect blend of historic charm and modern elegance. Every corner feels like a postcard, making it an absolute dream for those who love Instagram-worthy spots. From the beautifully landscaped gardens to the enchanting architecture of the castle, it’s hard to take a bad photo here. The bar is fantastic built in an old wine press. The restaurant, however, was the real highlight. The food was hands-down the best in the area—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Sicilian and the service was impeccable. For families or couples looking for a serene escape, Castello San Marco delivers on every level. Whether you're relaxing by the pool, indulging in the spa, or savoring their gourmet dishes, it's a place that leaves a lasting impression. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Easily the top highlight of our sicily trip. Besides the magnificent site and beach nearby, big thanks to the hotel and restaurant team for making our stay and couple anniversary extra special! We enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely come back next time we visit sicily!!

Castello San Marco is the kind of hotel that draws you back again and again. Full of charm, character, and beauty, it sits in a breathtaking spot—nestled by the beach with magnificent views of Mount Etna. The dining is exceptional, the service polished and welcoming, and the rooms are both elegant and thoughtfully appointed. It’s an unforgettable place and returning feels inevitable.

This hotel is exceptional. I’ve stayed here multiple times and the property is so beautiful— across from a great beach. The staff are phenomenal— each and everyone one has an added value to the property. I’ve worked closely with Flavia booking reservations, and she has been wonderful in every way. The entire front desk staff is always smiling and have a great sense of humor. I’ve had the honor of meeting the owner, Grazia, who is full of great stories and beautiful inside and out along with the entire family. This property is a must!

Stay here and simply taxi into the crazy busy places ! The food and the service was perfection. The bed was so cozy, the shower was perfect temperature and pressure. and the rooms were beautiful.

What a treat to be able to spend a few nights in this beautiful oasis. The minute we arrived. Marco greeted us and The lovely ladies at the desk were welcoming friendly, helpful, professional. Every inch of the property was beautifully maintained and gave us a great sense of being in historic Sicily feeling like royalty . The restaurant which we ate at two nights was a surprise ,Michelin star  food, cleverly and tastefully each course was delicious. Wine list was full of beautiful Sicilian wines and a showstopper was having a very special cocktail made right at our table. I have had the good fortune from working so hard my life to stay at many four and five star hotels around the world and this will not disappoint . Our room was so comfortable, tastefully decorated & beautiful I didn’t want to leave the room . The beach was just steps away, and we swam in the beautiful Ionian Sea , the hotel is a destination, (we did go winetasting during the day at Benanti an excellent tour and tasting) hotel definitely worth a stay if you need to relax and want to be pampered -oh, and the swimming pool was magnificent along with serving cocktails and food poolside.

My wife stayed here on our honeymoon and were blown away. The property is pretty big (hence being a castle) and has a massive pool, gardens, event center and a tennis court looking at Mt. Etna. It transforms at night with all of the lights around the hotel. Their dinners were absolutely amazing. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. I would give a big shout out to the stand alone bar that is open at night. If you like specialty cocktails and a great place to relax and visit, this is it. The room was very nice and clean and bar far the largest square feet we stayed during our month long trip. They also have their own beach club right across the street, however it was closed when we stayed (late October) We can not wait to go back!

Wow! What a place.... Our entire experience at the Castello San Marco was wonderful from start to finish in every aspect. We were booked to stay for three nights, however due to a delayed flight from Venice, we missed our connection to Catania in Rome and couldn't get there till the next day. I had messages from Flavia at reception via WhatsApp - she was caring and so supportive towards us. She reassured me that they would do everything they could and would be eagerly waiting our arrival. Upon arrival the next day, we were welcomed with excitement and enthusiasm. Flavia let us know that they had upgraded our room as a gesture to somewhat make up for our missed night and also included the beach club free of charge. We were so delighted - we hadn't expected this and it was such a nice surprise. Our rooms were just gorgeous, the air con was fantastic (thank goodness as it was VERY hot outside) and the pool was utterly magic. The olive oil made on site is delicious and their various 'Spritz' aperitive options were really delightful....yum! Lunch by the pool was really yummy and quite good value. They even told us where we could go to buy the locally sourced cocktail ingredients. The breakfasts were sublime - best coffee I've had in Italy and a wonderful choice of delicious and beautifully prepared food. Our visit to the beach club was wonderful and swimming in the water there is something I'll never forget. We dined at the on-site restaurant on our last night. It was such a beautiful meal and the service was exceptional. Mario prepared a special digestif of pomegranate at the table before dessert which was the most delightful performance to watch, and the drink he served may be the best thing I've smelt and tasted in my life! It was utterly wonderful. We will be back - thank you to the whole team for a truly special experience and for your care towards us.

Nestled along the stunning North-West Coast, Resort La Battigia Beach & Spa offers a unique blend of modern amenities and breathtaking views. Guests rave about the exceptional staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, even in challenging situations. The hotel features well-maintained facilities, including a lovely pool and convenient shuttle service to both the beach and its sister hotel. While the on-site restaurant serves delicious regional cuisine, some visitors noted limited menu options and cold breakfast items.
The sister Hotel Battigia disappointingly double booked our room, so we ended up at Resort La Battigia. Lovely rooms and dining area. Ample parking and a shuttle bus to run you to the beach. Staff are extremely friendly and super helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food is good. The mixed seafood starter was exceptional and excellent value. Yes, we'd stay there again. As for the Hotel Battigia, not so happy about the way they dealt with us as we booked over six months ago, or to be told two days before arrival, there was no room for us...shame on you!

Generally a nice hotel but for the price would really have expected much more. They have great amenities but the only thing you can really use is the outdoor pool. Other things like the indoor pool, sauna and more you have to pay an additional 40 Euros per person for 90 minutes. That is really a crazy price, considering what you get somewhere else for that amount of money. Additionally is the Internet a joke. The last time I had such a bad Internet connection was 20 years ago in a hostel. You are not even able to have a WhatsApp call without being disconnected all 3 minutes and having the rest of the time a horrible quality. So forget also Netflix or any catch-up on work in the evening. Meaning definitely the last time I am here.

This establishment has shown a complete disregard for customer service and professionalism. Initially, we were assured in writing that our small dog would be allowed to stay with us. They later demanded our credit card details via email to confirm the booking. When we refused due to EU GDPR concerns regarding unsecured payment methods, they arbitrarily changed their stance, claiming that dogs were no longer allowed. Additionally, we advise against calling them, as their staff will hang up on you and offer no apology for their unacceptable behavior. This deceptive and inconsistent conduct is nothing short of a bait-and-switch. We were left frustrated and exhausted by the entire ordeal. We’ve shared this experience with our family and social circle and strongly recommend others avoid this place. Be cautious, as their practices appear both unethical and misleading.

Great location, an absolute gem of staff, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had in my life! We’ve had an unfortunate event where my spouse got injured on foot. Everyone, I mean literally whole hotel staff was doing their best to ensure we go through an emergency smooth. I couldn’t ask his name yet, night shift front desk was as helpful as my own brother would. In the morning, house keeping lady was doing their best to help us out. Despite that I couldn’t talk Italian and Romanian. She helped with a smile and did her best to ensure my spouse can have a comfort on this tough moment. Front desk, they helped to make sure we can get a wheelchair, navigate a town we’ve never been to their best ability. This stay almost felt like I’m at my own relative’s home; taken care of. I can’t thank the whole hotel crew enough; from house keeping, day and night front desk, to the restaurant crew. Everyone, I mean literally everyone working in this hotel is a very kind soul, setting a standard on it should be. From now on, I’ll be looking to observe this standard in other hotels. About amenities; pool is also great for tanning with sufficient place for swimming. Sunbeds are very comfortable. It’s overall an awesome stay!

Beautiful hotel, the hotel staff were so accommodating and kind throughout our stay. The sea view and mountain view from the room is beautiful, there is a very nice pool and there is a free shuttle to take guests straight to the beach of the sister hotel. Even though there are not many shops near the hotel, nearby towns are easily accessible by taxi and have lots of shops and restaurants to explore. We are especially thankful to Antonio who helped arrange a taxi for us late at night when we were unable to find any taxi from a nearby town! Excellent service, thanks for a lovely stay.

We have stayed 4 nights in this hotel, the building is newly opened and quiet. Breakfast selection is good, unfortunately if you seat outside during breakfast you could hear the noise from the staff talking loud from the back of the wall, not really pleasant. Rooms are beautiful, semi modern, a bit disappointed by housekeeping service which didn't change the coffe cups used the they before and room wasn't very well cleaned (some stains in the pillow cases and bed sheets) there is no water offered in the room, since is a 4 stars, some water complimentary will be appreciated. Hotel offers a shuttle service to the beach very often during the day and you can enjoy their sunbeds and the sea. Spa is beautiful and well maintained, we had couple of massage, very good. The restaurant is very good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall a good relaxing experience.

Absolutely incredible experience! The spa is very clean and staff is super friendly and professional! Went with my husband and got two different types of massages. Highly recommend the chakra massage. One of the best I’ve ever had. The staff made sure to maintain the facilities as clean as possible which I loved. Great if you like Turkish baths, dry and wet saunas as well as a salt room and different temperature showers. Can’t wait to go back!

Nestled on the stunning south coast of Sicily, Serenusa Resort is a delightful all-inclusive getaway that promises relaxation and fun for the whole family. Just a short drive from the historic town of Licata and the breathtaking Valley of the Temples, this resort features an inviting private beach, lush green surroundings, and Mediterranean-style decor that enhances its charm. Guests can enjoy refreshing outdoor pools and indulge in meals at an airy buffet restaurant or unwind at the beach bar.
Very good and child friendly resort with highly professional staff. High quality evening shows and plenty of activities during the day. High quality local food. Excellent kids club, with flexible and kind staff. Rooms and shared area clean and well maintained. Maybe main pool floor needs a bit more frequent cleaning and kids pool slides may be renovated.

If you don't know Italian, fully enjoying some shows will be difficult because most of the activities are in Italian. The location is far and requires transport from/to the airport, about an hour and a half. The rooms are normal, clean, and very basic. The issue we had was that when they cleaned the room, they didn't add new bottles of the water, and the tap water tasted very bad. Good water is available in the resort, but it's difficult to get in the room. For children, it's good; you can find many kid-friendly options. The food is seafood and Italian, tasty and of good quality. Breakfast is good but not fabulous. In the end, it's a 4-star stay, and you will enjoy it like we did!

Honest review. I give the resort an overall 3 starts out of 5. Starting with the good: - the rooms are spacious and clean - the all inclusive drinks package is comprehensive and diverse - the village is well kept and clean and full of flowers and trees - the pools are well sized - the beach is beautiful The less good: - food is not bad but far from excellent. Most of the food is served cold. - the majority of the staff speak minimal english and are not particularly helpful - the kids splash area is in bad shape and needs a major renovation (most disappointing) - the two restaurants separate from the central restaurant are permanently closed from the 8th September - our residential block had two floors but no lift for pushchairs etc .. - the tiling surrounding the pools needs replacing as it holds large puddles of water which is generally dirty

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at the resort (14 to 21 June) and overall, it’s a great choice for families with children. We booked 4 rooms (2 classic, 1 premium, and 1 family), and all were clean, functional, and well-maintained — just what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. The facilities were solid, and everything was well taken care of. What really made the difference for us was the incredible staff and entertainment team. A special shoutout to Naji, Giada, Zia, and Giga — they truly brought the place to life and made everyone smile. They are the heart of Bluserena, and we felt lucky to have them around. The food was fantastic, with generous full board options including complimentary wine. There are three restaurants — the menus are similar, but we didn’t mind since everything was delicious. Prices were also very reasonable. The resort is perfect for families: lots of activities for kids, from playgrounds to a mini water park. The beach is long, sandy, and safe for children. We also appreciated the on-site parking, as we drove in from Catania. The boutique and utility store, along with a 24-hour doctor, were added comforts. Now, just a few suggestions for improvement — not dealbreakers, but worth mentioning: * In the restaurant, the drinking water system could use an upgrade — when more than two taps are used at once, water flow drops dramatically. It was a common frustration we heard from other guests too. * Loud maintenance work (like grass cutting) was done around 2 PM near the rooms, which wasn’t ideal as many children were napping. A different time slot would be much more considerate. * There was no luggage assistance, which made arrival a bit tough with two small kids and a room far from reception. * The plastic wristbands were uncomfortable, especially for little ones — a softer alternative would help. Also, the "club card" system (needed to make purchases and keep the A/C running in the room) felt a bit outdated and inconvenient. A more modern, integrated solution would really improve the experience. * English proficiency among staff is quite limited. While I speak Italian and had no issues, international guests struggled with even basic requests. This means they miss out on the warm, personal service that makes the resort special. Some language training for staff would go a long way in welcoming non-Italian guests. *In the park area near Building 8, there is a swing that appears potentially unsafe. The bolts are visibly old, rusty, and shifting within the wooden structure, raising concerns about its stability. For the safety of all guests — especially children — I strongly recommend addressing this as soon as possible. All in all, we loved our stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality. With just a few small improvements, this place could go from great to outstanding. And management, please make sure to recognize Naji — he's a star and truly makes a difference! Even days after our vacation ended, I find myself in a crowded airport, still humming "Bluuuuserena" — and that must count for something!

Our family of 4 had an incredible stay at Serenusa Resort in Sicily! The facilities, location, and atmosphere were all fantastic, but what truly made our trip unforgettable was the exceptional service we received from our waiter, Gianluca. Not only was he attentive and friendly during our meals, but he went above and beyond by helping us plan an itinerary and travel arrangements for the rest of our visit in Sicily. His knowledge, kindness, and genuine care made all the difference in our holiday experience. Gianluca is a true asset to the company, and we are so grateful for everything he did for us. Highly recommend Serenusa Resort for anyone visiting Sicily — you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful beach. Nice setup. Lovely pool. Out of season it seems they keep economic with school groups. Nothing terrible as a result of that but adds to a less relaxing vibe. It's buffet, which is not my thing, so prepare for undignified meal times fighting with OAP Italians. The food was good quality. The allergen notification was good but the planning poor - one of our mornings every available croissant had nuts.

Very disappointing experience We stayed at Serenusa Resort and were extremely disappointed by several serious issues: • Invasion of privacy: A staff member filmed us without our consent, even though we clearly said NO. We emailed the resort to demand an explanation and deletion of the footage, but received no response. • Rude staff: Many staff members were unfriendly and only spoke Italian, making communication difficult and frustrating for international guests. • Terrible food: The meals were bland, too salty, and repetitive. Nothing tasted fresh or well-prepared. • Drinks not included: Although this was supposed to be an “all-inclusive” resort, we were forced to pay for water and other basic drinks, which is misleading and unacceptable. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. We do not recommend staying at Serenusa Resort — there are much better options in Sicily where guests are respected and treated properly.

With both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a buffet restaurant serving an array of delectable dishes—especially seafood and traditional Italian fare—there's something for every palate.
We are very happy. We enjoyed our vacation very well. We ate excellent food. Two Argentinian men served us on the terrace. We don't remember their names, but we congratulate them and thank them. They were very kind and respectful.

We were here for a week with my family. First the positives. The food is fantastic, lots of seafood, varieties of pasta, salads and fruit. If you are going to Italy to taste Italian food, this resort is it! Beautiful clean sea, but a small crowded beach. But everyone fits :) The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a luggage room and changing room at the front desk if you arrive/depart and don't have a room. The resort has lots of greenery, large pools, clean. Now the negatives. The air conditioner needs replacing, after 3 hours we started dripping water with it in the evening. The bad thing was that the air conditioner was under the bed. We asked for a repair on the first day, didn't help. Sun loungers by the pool - not enough of them, present areas for them. Ants - here I rather appeal to guests not to have any food or even an empty food wrapper. For us, after three days they found in our backpack an empty paper from the airport snack. Ants have pathways in the cracks between the tiles.

Very large resort at a fantastic location with wonderful plants & trees, sea quality is wonderful. Rooms are quite old but very big and clean. And cleaning done everyday. Food is delicious, everyday they have a new concept. Service is good, but first night we artived around 21.15 and could not get any food to eat this was not a warm welcome. Car rental service and stores are perfect. The water quality in Lido is incredible. Overall we had a great one week vacation.

Vol gusto bar was amazing, staff in the bar were highly professional and professional with great customer service. We went out of season so a few other bars and facilities were not fully open but this didn't detract from the short break we had. The food in the buffet style restaurant was OK with a good variety to sort all tastes. The only negative point was that the transfer coach to siracruse was fully booked on the Saturday and doesn't run Sunday so glad we had booked a car for 2 days. Overall impression as first time visitors to an all inclusive resort was OK just glad we found the gusto bar which made the holiday for us.

I and my family had great holidays there. Friendly staff, absolutely delicious food. I’ve been in many countries and hotels but this one is the best with that. So big big thanks to restaurant and bars staff for great cocktails. Also , very green and big territory. Rooms need some refreshing but it’s not too bad. Plenty of space on the beach. Also we saw some families with dogs, which is great. But we are as animal lovers stayed a bit upset. There are two ponds with turtles,my daughter loved them and used to come every day to say hello, but probably the ponds are not cleaned and there was some small rubbish in the water. One turtle looked dead, as it was completely buried in the sand. I hope hotel staff will pay more attention to it, otherwise don’t have them at all.

We overall had a good experience. The location is great, with a beautiful views of Mount Etna from the beach. The resort is lush and well-maintained, with gardens, turtles in ponds, and lots of greenery. Our villa was spacious, nicely furnished. The bathroom could use some renovation, and the kids' room didn’t have air conditioning, which made it very hard to cool it. Also the mattress was extremely firm — by the second night, my back was already protesting. The villas are quite spread out. If you're staying in a more remote one, prepare for a long walk in the sun to the beach, which has only one access point. Renting sunbeds and umbrellas is pricey, and considering the room rate, they really should be included. We had bed and breakfast. Food at the beach restaurant and the pizzeria was very good, though staff sometimes seemed puzzled that we weren't all-inclusive guests. Staff at reception, housekeeping, and the main restaurant were friendly and helpful. Sadly, the beach bar staff were less professional and made comments in Italian about foreign guests while serving them — not exactly classy. Free parking is a big plus, with many shaded spots.

Had a lovely week stay here. The location is great as it is walking distance from restaurants, shops and bus station. Very friendly staff and it was very clean. We were half board and it was good value for money, small buffet and options can get repetative but everything is fresh and tasty. The best thing is they allow you to swap dinner for lunch on half board, so you can spend the day there on the beach and head out for dinner in town which we really enjoyed. Would stay again.

Breakfast was good, getting around to the rooms isn’t the most convenient for a stay unless you like walking through nature. There are plenty of fruit trees on the property and easy access to the beach. It’s also a little hard to get to the hotel as it is tucked away down a few alleys. Watch out for other cars too, we were in a bear head on collision with a guy speeding through the alley turning into the hotel.

We have just got back from two weeks of an amazing holiday. The views are breath taking, the rooms are spotless, fresh bedding and towels every day.The cleaning girl work so hard and are so friendly. top tip buy some beach shoes because the beach is gritty and pebbley. Another tip is there is a little supper market out of the hotel about ten minute walk so you can stock up on bottled water, soft ,beer and wine . The best ice cream is in the hotel and soooo cheep and a good portions. The only down side is the food can get a bit samey it would be nice to have a chef using a hot plate or griddle to cook meat or fish in front of guests, please hotel una think of my request!!!!

NOT recommended for young people! Here’s why: Location pretty ok. Beach is clean and good. Hotel Building is very old looks like from last century. Especially the elevators are pure ancient. 90% of the guests are also elderly. And here’s sth unacceptable: On the first morning the cleaning lady barged in our room and stood at the foot of our bed without EVEN A KNOCK, and just stood there and asked us whether we need cleaning while we were STILL IN BED! She again opened our room WITHOUT KNOCKING on the second morning. This hotel policy clearly says cleaning staff can go in guest room with guests still sleeping inside, NOT asking permission to enter🤪. Maybe this hotel staff feel so entitled as they have been in business for many years, judging by the age of their facilities. So if you are looking for good and professional hotel services, better look away.
Elizabeth J — Google review
The hotel is clean and well maintained, but is away out of the local town. There are extra charge for sunbeds on the private beach and we were constantly pestering with people selling items when on beach. The swimming pools are well maintained and have life guards. However the beach bars offer a very limited variety of food. There is a complimentary bus to take you to the local town, but beware it gets booked up very quickly. Reservations need to be made via the conceige booking office.

We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this hotel especially because of it's location, beach and diversity of activities that You can do. However we do have some comments: - not enough vegan/allergy friendly options in the restaurant especially for dinner main courses, breakfast and deserts. People with dairy allergies also deserve to eat desert; - not enough staff to accommodate dinner. A lot of times we had to wait for a table to be cleaned long time before we could sit down

Mangia's Pollina Resort is a luxurious beachfront property located in Pollina, offering an array of amenities for a relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy the private beach, outdoor pools, and an outdoor tennis court. The resort also features a fitness center for those looking to stay active. With beautiful views and well-maintained surroundings, it provides a serene atmosphere for guests to unwind. Families can take advantage of the kids' water slide area and the entertaining kids club.
Everything about this resort was top notch. The pool was great, hospitality was great, and the beds were comfy. Views from the resort are stunning and unforgettable. My overall favorite part was our bartender Attilio! He was on point and very attentive. Not to mention he is literally an award winning bartender in European competitions. He always went above and beyond and was serving with a smile. Great job Mangia’s Pollina Location and thank you all the staff as well.

Avoid this resort if you value honesty, comfort, or a peaceful holiday. We booked two rooms for a special wedding anniversary trip, paying extra for what the website advertised as beautiful, comfortable, 4-star accommodation. Instead, we were given dark, depressing rooms nothing like the photos, with rock-hard beds, broken air-conditioning, and loud DJ music from the kids’ club blasting until late at night. When we complained, staff were evasive about the noise and repeatedly refused to move us, claiming there was nothing else available – even though we later discovered there clearly was. When they finally offered to move us, it was to rooms that were even worse – hotter, noisier, and with beds so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep. It took four nights of misery before they finally gave us the type of rooms we’d paid for from day one. By then, most of our holiday was ruined. We spent our days exhausted instead of exploring and relaxing. We asked for a fair refund for the nights that were awful, but the resort instead offered an insulting €150 “goodwill” payment or 20% off a future stay – completely missing the point that we would never return. The only bright spot was Claudia at reception, who genuinely tried to help, but by then it was far too late. A supposed 4-star experience turned into one of the worst holidays we’ve ever had.

We've been here three days and love it! The resorts is very attractive with stunning views. The buffet breakfast and evening meals are plentiful, fresh and good quality. I've seen previous reviews criticising staff but we have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. You can see they work extremely hard. The rooms are spotless and well maintained, the air conditioning is very welcome. Four days to go and im sure we'll be devastated to be going home.

Our stay at Mangia’s Pollina Resort was fantastic. We spent a week there and enjoyed a perfect mix of entertainment, relaxation, and exceptional service. If you're looking for a resort that offers delicious food, breathtaking views, and top-tier hospitality, Mangia’s is the place for you. I especially enjoyed playing padel, swimming at the beach, and participating in the fitness classes—which were both challenging and fun. Ferdinando led a variety of incredible classes that catered to all fitness levels, adding great energy to the experience.

Steer clear of this resort if you expect honesty, comfort, or any sense of tranquillity. We booked two rooms for a special anniversary, paying extra for what the website showed as bright, comfortable 4-star accommodation. On arrival, we were given dark, gloomy rooms nothing like the photos, with rock-hard beds, faulty air-conditioning, and loud DJ music from the kids’ club blasting until late. Our complaints were met with evasive answers about the noise, and repeated refusals to move us – we were told nothing else was available, which turned out to be untrue. When they finally did move us, the new rooms were worse: hotter, noisier, and with beds so uncomfortable that sleeping was impossible. It took four long nights before we were finally given the standard of rooms we’d paid for from the start. By that point, the damage was done – our holiday was effectively ruined, and we spent most of it exhausted instead of enjoying ourselves. Afterwards, the management offered a token €150 “goodwill” payment or 20% off a future stay – an insulting offer, given we would never come back. Claudia at reception did her best to help, but she was the exception in an experience that fell far short of the 4-star service promised. This was one of the most disappointing holidays we’ve ever had.

I was presently surprised when we arrived at this hotel as it is an all inclusive resort but isn’t advertised as one anywhere on Expedia and the hotel’s own website. We were only here for 2 nights but wish we were here for longer. The restaurants are great here and really good pizza. Absolutely stunning maintained gardens throughout the hotel and views of cefalu mountains. The only downsides I have to mention is that the hotel has a shuttle which isn’t advertised well as we ended up paying €60 for a return taxi to cefalu without being told upon check in that there is a free hotel shuffle available for us. The hotel is also poorly signposted with a lack of signage to illustrate where you are and where the bars and restaurants are (they are massively spread out) we ended up getting lost many times! Also the hotel needs to improve accessibility for all guests as there are no lifts and there are unnecessary added extra steps and stairs everywhere. I feel for those who require accessibility needs as this beautiful hotel isn’t suitable for them as a result.

CDSHotels Terrasini - Città del Mare is a stunning seasonal resort that promises an unforgettable family getaway along the picturesque coast of Terrasini. This all-inclusive haven boasts a fantastic water park, featuring exhilarating slides and refreshing pools that cater to both kids and adults alike. With its private beach, multiple outdoor pools, and a serene spa, relaxation is just as easy as adventure here.
We stayed here back in May and had such a wonderful time—I forgot to leave a review, but they absolutely deserve one! I highly recommend this hotel. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and the lady manager was especially respectful and supportive throughout our stay. The food selection was good, and the view was beautiful. The activities team did a fantastic job keeping guests entertained. One small note: the bartender could improve in terms of being more respectful toward tourists. But overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back soon!
Afshin — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were several aspects that may not suit everyone. The rooms were a definite highlight — clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable place to unwind. However, the overall environment was quite lively, with children predominating throughout the hotel. This made the atmosphere noticeably noisy and less relaxing, especially for guests seeking an adult based environment. The food offering was average and lacked variety, becoming repetitive over the course of the stay. Additionally, while the bar staff were polite, the drink servings were consistently on the small side. Communication could also be improved, as many staff members did not speak English, which occasionally led to some misunderstandings or delays in service.
Flavian F — Google review
The hotel has four stars - now I highly doubt how this quality mark was achieved. Our flight was cancelled and we had to spend the night in this hotel. The territory is huge and nice if you don’t mind walking up and down, I would say that’s the most attractive feature of the resort. The place is also filled with water facilities, so you would have a wide selection of pools to dive in. On the other hand, the room looked as if it was decorated in the seventies and not touched ever since. To describe it in one word - ugly. I was not in the right mood to take photos as we were already pissed by the situation with the flight, but I can hardly imagine anyone paying a premium for this kind of accommodation. However, if you wanted a night in the time capsule- it might be a perfect place. The check in was at 5 pm, whilst the checkout was scheduled for 10, which is not the most welcoming combo. The dinner buffet was disastrous with a limited variety of hot dishes available(the ones available were not really appetising), but the veggies were present in the salad bar. The cold cuts and cheeses were lacking taste and can hardly compete with the options on sale in the closest supermarket. A notable mention award goes to the restaurant staff, one lady in particular trying to explain that I must not touch the forks in the separated restaurant area, even though they were not present in the dining area. I believe the goal of the service should be to make the guest feel at home, rather than giving a summer camp treatment. To wrap it up, I would say that the restaurant and the food quality is a disgrace to Italian (Sicilian) food culture and leaves exceptionally negative emotions. Sicily is a truly marvellous place, but staying in the hotel might ruin the whole experience, so I highly recommend thinking twice before booking a room here.

This hotel has everything. Great selection of different pools and activities. The toboggan is such an experience. Food selection is very good. We loved the solo singer every night. I don’t remember her name. Great to have entertainment every night. Rooms are very clean and modern. Great views from balcony. Staff are so nice and helpful.

So I will be as objective as possible and list the pros and cons. Pros Lots of food options for lunch 3 swimming pools Various facilities (but hard to use) Beautiful sea views Cons Constant sewage smell in a lot of the resort, it's sickening. Limited breakfast times 7.30-9.30 Short time slots for food so bad queues and you miss eating options A/C was noisy and missing a remote control when we asked reception they lied and said there isn't a remote and upon checkout we saw other rooms had a remote. Rooms are very outdated and not super clean No where to relax No direct access to a beach and limited shuttle options Facilities are hard to use as you need to leave an ID at limited time slots No checkout drop box, long queues for no reason Gym has limited open hours as it needs to be manned In general they need more shaded activities I think they should leave the floodlights on to play sports at night as it's too hot in the day The best way to explain this place has bags of potential but not very well thought out which overall leaves a poor customer experience. For example why do I need to leave my passport between the hours for 15.30-18.30 to play a game of table tennis on an old decrepit table on a windy court? Just leave some bats and balls. Also I feel like I need to queue for everything and I think that is an artificial problem created by having limited operating hours for everything. I think this place could be a lot better if the management spend a bit of time abroad and learn how to create a good experience. Just to add we rented tennis racquets and balls and the balls were completely flat. There is no point having facilities if you cannot use them. But then again this does cater mainly for what seems to be mostly local Italians so perhaps the expectation is lower.

I recently stayed at CDS Hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome. Our hotel room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view—definitely one of the highlights of the trip! The atmosphere was peaceful, and the scenery around the hotel was stunning. I’d recommend adding more activities geared toward families and kids, as there’s definitely potential to make it even more fun for younger guests. Also, the transport options could use improvement—the current offerings are quite expensive, especially considering the hotel is a bit far from the nearest city or major hub. Overall, I’d definitely to others looking for a relaxing getaway, especially if you’re after good food, great service, and amazing views!

Considering we use our hard earned money through the year to go on holiday, I wouldn't pay anyone to go here. The staff are ridiculously rude. They would rather pick up their phones than server you. I honestly could not reiterate enough not to book this resort. The food is less than basic, nothing authentic whatsoever. Also you cant walk anywhere without smelling the raw stink of toilet. Sorry, but would NEVER holiday here again. Beyond disappointed
Candace S — Google review
I booked this trip through Loveholidays and stayed at CDS Hotels Città del Mare in Terrasini as a solo traveler together with 2 more couples they stayed in a separate building on an all-inclusive package — and honestly, it exceeded all expectations. The food was incredible with loads of fresh, tasty options at every meal. To mention for those with food intolerance, is Sicily and as part of the Italian country, cuisine is traditional and well known for their pizza, pasta, cheese and fish/sea food. The resort was spotless, incredibly clean and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. There were activities all day long for all ages, tennis court, gym, football, mini golf which made the place feel lively without being chaotic. Entertainment team members were so welcoming and friendly. The location is stunning, and the resort itself is huge — with beautiful grounds and even a private beach that’s easily accessible with the hotel bus shuttle. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, and I always felt safe and looked after. I had my bedroom with sea view. I left my balcony doors open all day and night, nothing was touched. Housekeeping serviced every morning. They have travel and car rental services on reception level, shops, bars nearly everywhere. Spectacular slide down the cliffs straight into the sea. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone booking through Loveholidays — whether you’re going solo, as a couple, or with family. I’d absolutely book again in future and bring my family in too.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel! The facilities were top-notch – clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a beautiful environment overall. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed. A special shoutout goes to Patrick, who led the fitness training sessions during my stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mangia’s Torre del Barone Resort in Sicily! The place is stunning , a perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, and warm hospitality. Everything from the pool area to the evening bar felt inviting and vibrant. A special mention goes to Marlena, who truly made our experience unforgettable. She has such a kind and genuine personality, always smiling, attentive, and going out of her way to make us feel special and completely at ease. Whether by the pool during the day or at the bar in the evening, her positive energy and professionalism stood out. She’s truly an asset to the resort and deserves recognition for the great job she’s doing. We can’t wait to come back, highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Mangia’s Torre del Barone and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. The food was amazing, the service was top-notch, and the staff were insanely friendly and welcoming. They REALLY went above and beyond to help me plan the proposal for my girlfriend — they made it so special and were always in contact with me 24/7 to make sure everything was perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially families with young kids who want to clear their minds and relax — it’s so quiet and peaceful during the nights. Just be prepared: it might be hard to wake up for breakfast because the beds are so comfy! The rooms were spotless and super comfortable too. A big thank you to everyone at Mangia’s Torre del Barone for making our stay so special. I can’t wait to come back again!

Our stay in Sicily was simply fantastic! The hotel itself is beautifully designed and offers breathtaking views of the sea. The location is perfect for enjoying the beauty of the Sicilian coast. I especially want to highlight the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A special thanks goes to Patrick, the fitness trainer. He was very accommodating and provided wonderful yoga and pilates sessions that were both incredibly relaxing and invigorating. Additionally, he shared valuable local tips for excursion destinations, which enhanced our experience even more. I would come back anytime!

Had a super stay there, it was the best out of alll the hotels we stayed. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are well appointed. On check in, we had the most amazing and friendly service from Carmen who went out of the way to explain the resort - absolutely top class! If there was one thing to improve, we found the € 95.0” rather expensive for the very tiny lobster we got - an oversized plate with a lot of vegetables and three bites of lobster….🦞 otherwise F&B was also very good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely wonderful stay at Mangia’s Torre Del Barone Resort! We spent a fantastic week at this resort — everything from the view to the food to the vibe was just perfect. The property itself is beautiful: right by the sea, super clean, and full of that relaxing Sicilian charm. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the amazing service, especially from Gianluca Interrante, the Hotel Manager. We had a small issue during our stay, and Gianluca went above and beyond to take care of it. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy. Not only did he fix the problem quickly, but he also surprised us with some special VIP touches that made us feel truly valued. Thanks to him and the whole team, our week turned out absolutely perfect — and honestly, Gianluca deserves a huge part of the credit for that. Can’t recommend this resort enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family thought this place was great. Family friendly, great amenities. Calm beach is great for those that want little noise. The other beach they have is more alive. Getting ready to try the free kayaking and SUP. We’ve also become addicted to the free workouts with Patrick. I like how the workouts are only a half hour so you can really feel accomplished without cutting into resort time. My daughter and I like Patrick’s yoga sessions, and my husband loved the total body workout. Kicker, they have a sushi restaurant here!

Beautiful resort, amazing views & beaches, great food, friendly staff, good sports facilities, spa & daily fitness classes. Well adapted for those with mobility restrictions & helpful golf buggy service. Special thank you to Patrick for Pilates & fitness classes in the garden. Just a couple of criticisms: For disabled guests, there are no handrails in the shower & shower gels are too high to reach when seated. The evening music is a bit dreary and could do with something a bit more uplifting but other than that, 5/5.

Very good choose for hotel, animation is the best, beach and sea is really nice and warm, food is amazing , personal try to help for everything! I come back ! 🔥🔥🔥
Yordan D — Google review
The overall experience at the hotel was ok. Very nice and big pool, sandy beach, plenty of good food, nice rooms that are distributed in separated small buildings. The animation team was incredible with very fun activities all day long. Unfortunately there are some minor disadvantages: first of all the location of the hotel. It's far away from everything. No cities around, not even house. The last 2km before the hotel are off-road driving though sand. Nothing to see or do if you don't have a car. And the entire region is one of the poorest in south Italy which makes the local short trips kind of useless - nothing to see, nothing to do, but nevertheless - amish. Other than that - 90% of the guests are local Italians. Because of that everything is just in Italian, the animation team speaks only Italian, all labels and information - only in Italian. But the most frustrating thing is that apparently there's some option to book things in the hotel, but that option is available only for the Italians. So half of the sunbeds on the pool were reserved with room numbers on them... And almost all of the places at the beach as well. You go to the restaurant - that's great, but you gotta be lucky to find a free table that is not pre-booked. It's annoying and unfair. Another problem - we had ants in the room. Nothing serious, but wherever you leave something edible they go all around it. Overall - not a bad choice for a summer holiday specifically if you're with kids. You'll surely enjoy your stay.

This place doesn't deserve to be a 4 star hotel, 3 max. The only reasons I am giving a 2/5 rating are the friendly staff and the rooms. Everything else is a deception. I don't know where to start from. The hotel is far from any city or village but there is no transport, no bus or shuttle even once per day. On the hotel's website is advertised as "internet in all rooms" but it's a lie. You'll be able to make only emergency calls from your room. Forget about browsing or checking your mail. The free umbrellas on the beach are only one row and you have to wake up at sunrise if you don't want to pay. Each morning people rush to the beach hoping to find a place. This is the all inclusive we got. No supermarket in the resort. The cherry on top is the food. Not what I would expect in Sicily. Always the same low quality products and lack of choice. Even the fruit was not good. It's an offense to call this food Sicilian as the region has great products and recipes. Be prepared to eat the same dessert every day. It changes only the color of the topping. Worst vacation experience ever.

A beautiful resort in the southern area of the island. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and we appreciated the food quality. The only opportunity for improvement I see is the entertainment staff, who was clearly not well prepared on some events and activities.

I have not experienced other resorts in Sicily to compare Sikania too. The resort is simple, clean with a friendly staff. Nice pool and access to the beach is easy. There is a 15 Euro charge for the first two rows at the beach. You need a pre paid card to buy an espresso or beer. There are a few water and juice stations around. Three meals a day and the pasta dishes are delightful. It can be quite hot and a bit humid so dress appropriately. Enjoy!

Arriving and departing from the resort the reception personnel were so slow. They took over an hour to help us. There wasnt many people in line either. The restaurant is more a cafeteria, no there no order in the line. Food was okay..the pool is nice. The rooms are not luxurious but they're clean. Also theres no cell phone reception or wifi in the room or the restaurant. I stayed here with 4 girlfriends and spent £460 for all inclusive one day, one night. The inclusive drinks are about two ounce cups of juice or water..so I reccomend to bring your own drinks. £7 for alcoholic beverages and that's not included. The beach was okay, I wish the water was clearer and had more chairs. Overall will not be returning.

Very nice resort. You will have some difficulties if do not speak Italian. Animation program every evening, only in Italian but still can be entertaining. Beach is 50 m away wich is a huge plus.

This hotel was marvelous. I wish to headline by saying that wi fi is dodgy at best but keep in mind that the island and location is isolated. That said, 3G works on the beach and outside the houses and wi fi is manageable. Food is outstanding, scenery is marvelous, beach is great and staff is dedicated and kind. Marvelous variety of dishes for all 3 courses with special nights to focus on specific themes all brimming with taste. Soft coastline with a decent beach bar and animation team, very few rocks and a clear sea, not much seaweed. Excellent for picking up sea stones in the early evening. Lovely parks and gardens that are fun for late walks. Very nice place, just a little distant from society. Not much in the surrounding area.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and impeccable service. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their friendliness made us feel truly at home in this beautiful paradise. The resort itself is stunning — breathtaking views, delicious food, and a wide range of activities. Every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism. Thank you to the amazing team for making our stay so special. I can’t wait to come back! Rafael works for the reception and he’s so attentive

Absolutely gorgeous place. Food was good but lacked salt on almost everything except for the bacon that was so salty no human could eat it. And they should invest in a proper dishwasher i never went to any meal wjthout there being the previous peraons lipstick on my glass that was disgusting every time. And the waiting staff can learn to smile. They are not very friendly. Also they kept shushing us and our guests to keep quite. Other than that great place.

We just got back from an unforgettable week at Club Med Cefalù. The views and location were breathtaking, but what really made the trip so special were the amazing people we met there and the GO team. Tidhar from the water sports team brought so much fun and energy into every activity – whether it was our first time trying out something new or we just wanted to enjoy the sea, he made it easy, exciting but also safe. Alon, at the bar, always greeted us with a big smile and made the best drinks. He somehow remembered exactly what we liked every time. And the tennis team, Carine and Emma, were simply wonderful, patient, encouraging, and full of good and positive energy, which made us come twice a day every day. All of them felt like a second family by the end of the week It’s one of those holidays where you leave, already thinking about when you are going to come back. Thank you to all of you for making it so special!

After a nice week at ClubMed in Cefalu, Sicily one can consider himself and/or herself privileged. The site is just gorgeous and the gardens well taken care by the garden crew. We are welcome to by reception staff that are so gracious, accommodating and ready to help answer our questions. I would like to mentioned Rafael, Lea, Manu, Almandine and Alpha who always welcome with a smile and addressed my request. The housekeeping staff were some lovely ladies that did they jobs so well. The one that took care of my room has even paid attention to the type of tea liked the most and made sure that it was available for me. I wish I could have taken her name. But my thanks to all of them. At the bar: Natha, Bea, Angelo were great. At Rocca restaurant: Giovanni, Salvatore, Paula, and basic all the waiters took care of me like if I was king. Francesco, pastry chef, made amazing pies and cakes. Faustine was great in her core, pilates, and other courses that I took with her. Eva was our yoga teacher. Despite of the few days that we had rain, she strive to keep the classes going by identifying other possible locations for the classes. Last but not least: Andrea, our Chef de Village who daily reached out to guest, had a chat, had meals with GOs, took us to a tour of the Club and showed us the cute historical church (Chiesa di S. Lucia), the original house of the chef du village and other sites and its anecdotes in the property. Andrea made feel at home and taken care. Many GOs were commenting on how hard is to handle all the different personalities that come to the club and making sure that things in order for the satisfaction of everyone one. I guess that explains why Andrea holds the position that he has. Bravo, Andrea and team for making the GOs stays an amazing one.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks for the unforgettable experience we had at your wonderful resort. Even when we unexpectedly found ourselves stuck without a flight home, your team handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. This level of support meant so much to us and made a difficult situation much easier. Throughout our stay, we were truly impressed by the exceptional quality of the resort—from the delicious food, the beautiful and comfortable rooms, to the outstanding facilities. Everything was of the highest standard. From the very beginning, we were embraced—both emotionally and literally—by the amazing Israeli Team: Alon, Eden, and Rafael. Their warmth, energy, and care made us feel immediately at home. They brought joy, a sense of connection, and genuine support throughout our stay, and we are truly grateful for the way they turned our vacation into something deeply personal and meaningful. We want to give special thanks to Manu, who checked in with us every single day, always asking how we were doing and offering his support with genuine care and warmth. His personal attention made us feel truly seen and cared for. To the entire watersports team – you were incredible. Every activity was filled with fun, professionalism, and enthusiasm. You created experiences that we will never forget. To the cheerful and friendly bar staff – thank you for always keeping the atmosphere upbeat and welcoming. Your smiles and good energy lit up every evening. And of course, to Andrea, Chief of the Village – your presence, leadership, and dedication are evident in every part of Club Med Cefalù. You’ve created something truly special, and it shows in every detail and every team member. Club Med Cefalù is more than a resort – it’s a feeling, a community, and a memory we’ll cherish. Thank you for everything. We look forward to coming back soon.

Overall the experience here was disappointing and not worth the money. Do your research before coming as we would not have stayed had we known what to expect All of the food is all very average compared to other restaurants in the area. Cafeteria style buffet is pretty much the only option for most meals, there are 1-2 other restaurants at the resort but they were all booked out in advance for the duration of our stay. We could only eat at the buffet and eventually ended up leaving the resort and eating elsewhere in town The service was average and staff were not friendly, we had to go out of our way to get their attention for anything. They also over charged us for the tourist tax vs what they advertised We struggled with language barriers as French mostly only spoken. All of the entertainment is spoken in French, if you don’t speak French you won’t be able to follow much
V M — Google review
My partner and I found Club Med Cefalu to be an unpleasant experience. We are both from Australia and the majority of staff and guests were French, and hardly any English was spoken. We didn’t do our research prior to coming so this is a little on us, however would take it as a warning if you are considering staying here and don’t speak French as all of the entertainment is not in English. The food was also very average, with the main option for all meals being a cafeteria style buffet with a lot of the same food every meal. You’d think for $1,000+ per night they’d offer more options for a fine dining experience, however the only option for that was booked out already on our arrival (we stayed for 3 nights). Most of the staff also weren’t friendly and were always in a rush, my recommendation would be to stay in Cefalu main town as it is beautiful down there and has many good restaurant options. We also got overcharged for the tourist tax which was $2.50 Euro per person per night, and we were charged $25 Euro for our 3 night stay.

DO NOT GO! Seriously, such a waste of time. We travelled 45 minutes after reading reviews expecting to spend a nice pamper day. After arrival we were able to choose our treatments and were escorted to the spa area we were the told to purchase some swimming caps (first time that’s ever happened to me at a spa) and were told that we had to wait over an hour till our treatments. Well surprise surprise the water was not working in the sauna and steam room. Very questionable for a...spa (because they didn’t work period). The spa and hotel were seemingly falling apart from a lack of clients. Avoid at all costs.

Stayed in the visir only for a night wiht a pack (spa+dinner+breakfast) In the spa I had a warm welcome and great treatment, very professional staff, but when when i went to the wellness center most of the utilities were off i.e. turkish bath style, sensorial shower partialy off, relaxing room (hanging chairs) the bottle for the relaxing aroma was empty, but what realy piss me off was that the large jacuzzi itself was not operating as should, tryed to explain and report the issues, but I was indirectly accused as layer by the manager at the reception. " sounds like all the review in this palce are all fake, are they ?" Charged for an ammunt and by talikng to some one else i reliaze that I was charged €40.00 extra.only because I booked throught their web site and who booked throught coupons saved the €40 p.s. at the least the shower in the spa...can you make sure there is hot water?!?!

Great breakfast, clean restaurant, fresh fruits and nuts. Almost sth for all the tastes. The staff are kind, free parking is a plus. Rooms are big enough. We enjoyed the view of Etna from our balcony. Recommend it seriously. Can be improved; jacouzies are not clean.

My wife and I had a very good time in this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful (and speaking English well!), both breakfasts and meals in the restaurant were very good, the price was reasonable, and the hotel also provided several jacuzzis in the evening in the garden free of charge. The hotel is located on the edge of a beautiful small city in the mountains, but not much public transportation around, so better to rent a car if you want to visit Etna (e.g. for skiing or hiking) or want to explore the surrounding small villages and cities. The hotel also offers some nice views of the nature around and reminds you of the Etna heritage in nice subtle ways.

Our room was very mediocre, no mirrors, only a small one in the bathroom, no sound proofing between rooms, I could hear full conversation of the ppl next to our room. Food: we were served raw chicken breast for dinner , after complaint they told us that they will bring another one. Would definitely not recommend.

Just came back from staying in this hotel. The views are terrible, there may be rooms with better view, but changed twice in three nights and were offered rooms that over looked a derelict land. The flush in toilet did not work, the fridge was broken, so all drinks were frozen solid. Bad services, the girl at the reception when checking out was extremely rude and unhelpful. To top all this, our flight was cancelled and we had to get an earlier flight. Though that I gave them 24 hours notice and was assured that we will be charged for three nights, this was not followed through and Maria at the reception even involved other guests which was extremely unprofessional.

Sant Alphio Garden Hotel & Spa is a laid-back property located in Giardini Naxos, Messina, Italy. It offers stunning views of Taormina, Mount Etna, and the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel features a refined restaurant serving International and Sicilian cuisine, as well as a generous buffet breakfast. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, wellness center, private beach area, and meeting facilities.
We had very spacious room, beautiful view, very romantic, calm hotel, you can smell lemon scent everywhere. The staff is helpful, kind, talkative. Our room was cleaned everyday, the towels were changed daily as well. Housekeepers very kind. It is obvious that the area is well maintained. You would always find available sun-beds by the pool. The entrance area and the lobby is very modern, renovated. mattresses were quite firm, but overall we slept well. The walls are poorly sound-proof, you can hear noises especially in the morning. The breakfast was repetitive, many pastries, the only vegetable was a tomato, three kinds of ham...for 4star hotel I would expect some variety. The coffee is only available from a machine. The scrambled eggs were sometimes made from powder. Overall we were happy with this hotel. It is very visually stunning.

We stayed in this hotel as part of an organised tour and we were expecting it to be as good as the previous two 4* hotels we stayed in. Our first impressions were good - a beautiful reception area and pool area and gardens. Our room was lovely and spacious but rather tired looking, the balcony was spacious but with basic plastic furniture. The bathroom with large accessible shower cubicle was also spacious but windowless and with just one light over the washbasin (inadequate for wet shaves). The floor when wet was extremely slippery. However everything was beautifully clean. The evening meals were particularly disappointing. Although the large dining room was beautifully decorated - it had the atmosphere of a school canteen and people's plates were cleared despite others still eating. The staff were dressed as if they could deliver silver service but that sadly was not the case. The food lacked imagination, was poorly presented and often tasteless - we had potato croquettes (presumably frozen) twice in 3 days. We gave up eating in the hotel for the last two days of our holiday.

I have visited a lot of 4 star hotels in my time and this hotel doesn't quite match expectations. The hall entrance is beautiful, ppol area is nice, but the rooms are very outdated. They really do require some investment. Very old shower not just in rooms but also in pool area. Breakfast is limited in terms of range of food. Dinner is served in their classy dining area, but the food itself is based on a menu which is far from gourmet as described on their website. I personally don't think the price vs quality is matching my expectations.

We stayed in this hotel as part of an organised tour. The hotel itself was very well presented. The waiters were hilarious, especially if you try to converse with them in Italian. The food was a little disappointing, and the bar area service was pretty slow. A very nice spa with lovely indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel had its own private (pebbly) beach area about 200m away, with beds and parasol 15euros per day. The resort was a bit run down with a few empty bars and restaurants but with a pretty harbour.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – NOT a Spa Resort! We recently stayed at Sant Alphio Garden Hotel & Spa in Taormina, Sicily, and I can confidently say this was one of the most misleading and disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. To start with, calling this place a “spa resort” is a complete joke. There was absolutely nothing about this hotel that resembled a proper spa or resort experience. The rooms didn’t even come with basic amenities like conditioner or body lotion — things you’d expect from a budget motel, let alone a supposed spa hotel. This is while they charged us a lot for our rooms, we could have easily booked much better hotels inside the city at this rate. The smell throughout the hotel was unbearable — they clearly use some of the cheapest, most toxic-smelling detergents imaginable. It made walking through the halls an unpleasant experience. And that’s not the only thing unpleasant — the staff were incredibly cold and unfriendly. On the rare occasion someone managed a smile, it was so obviously forced it was uncomfortable. When we asked for help with a broken safety box in the room, we were met with hostility and borderline yelling. Totally unacceptable. While the lobby looks decent, that’s where the charm ends. The rest of the hotel is stuffy, outdated, and poorly designed. There’s no convenience store or mini-market on-site either — so when we needed painkillers, they had absolutely nothing and showed zero effort or intention to help us find a solution. One of the worst aspects is the location. This hotel is not actually in the beautiful part of Taormina — it’s in a run-down, almost ghetto-like area, surrounded by empty lots and sketchy surroundings. The beach is public, and frankly, awful. It looked polluted, smelled bad, and felt totally unsafe. We ended up driving 30 minutes every day just to reach a decent beach in Taormina proper. Overall, this place is a disaster on all fronts — poor service, bad smells, misleading marketing, terrible neighborhood, and no actual spa experience to speak of. Avoid this hotel at all costs. We absolutely do NOT recommend staying here.

Had a great stay at the Sant Alphio! The staff was extremely attentive, and helpful. The service was excellent and the hotel was very clean. Food was delicious and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I will be returning back when in Taormina again!

LOVELY PLACE FOR A BREAK! ⭐️ The owner and the staff were always at our disposal and very kind with us throughout the whole stay. The room was clean and comfortable, every day we had the room cleaned and towels changed. They also have a little restaurant were we had delicious croissants and coffee for breakfast (they also give the option to choose a full buffet breakfast) and in the evenings we had nice and tasty pizzas. The location is great to go to the beach (there are different ones nearby, one within just few mins walk or other just 7 mins by car). The swimming pool was always clean and nice. By the way they have loads of space to park the car :) We can only say good things about this place and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Un ringraziamento a Nicola e a tutto lo staff del Signorino Resort

Nestled on the northern shore of Trapani, between the sea and the medieval town of Erice, I Mulini Resort offers a refined beach getaway. The resort features airy rooms and suites, including the unique Mulino suite converted from an 18th-century salt mill. Guests can enjoy a private beach, regional dining at the on-site restaurant, and unwind at the bar.
We had wonderful stay at I Mulini Resort. At the first day, we were delayed by our flight, we should be there as expected at 16:00 but because of delay, we arrived at 22:00. The Staff still welcomed us warmly by the most gentle for us. We feel this place is much more better than in Palermo. We booked 3 nights through the website. And we really really regret that we didn’t plan to stay longer. The atmosphere is really good and we had a lot of privacy at this beach in Trapani as we wish.☺️ The Staff took care us very carefully and gently via WhatsApp. We can chat and ask everything and everytime we need.☺️ Breakfast and Lunch is quite simple. Lovely and strong traditional Italian Coffee. Location is really nice and quite peaceful, near everything and near Trapani town. We really love to stay here. And highly recommend. We will definitely come back here soon.

After a rough day when our hotel had fallen through we thankfully somehow managed to get a room at I Mulini. What a beautiful property right on the ocean with beautiful sunsets from their restaurant patio. This is a unique spot with so much history incorporated into the design. There is a display in the windmill of how the salt was processed. Highly recommend!

I had the opportunity to join their private beach for a full day. The place is really nice, clean, secure and quiet. Private parking, shower, cabin, among other facilities. The staff is friendly and the food of their restaurant is good. It's a good plan to escape the usual hustle and bustle of crowded beaches.

We stayed here for 3 nights. In summary, the price is not worth it in comparison to what you get from it. After a roadtrip and discovering amazing places in Sicily, this overpriced 'resort' lacks hospitality, good food and charges you for things you shouldn't be charged for. To start with the positives: - the location is amazing and the pictures don't lie: you are right next to the sea and the old mills have a certain charm - some staff (the cleaning staff) were very friendly - the rooms were clean! The negatives: - when checking in, they just give you a piece of paper instead of taking the time to talk to you. Very strange. - the extra charges: they charge you 5 euros for the towels you use, and conveniently only tell you the last day that they charge you every time you get a 'clean towel'. You can make the calculation yourself. Also, the beautiful beach comes at a price, 20 euros per day to be exact. - the food. Please just go to Trapani for amazing food. The restaurant is overpriced, the staff is very unprofessional and rude, and the quality isn't good (which is super surprising as normally all the food in Sicily was amazing) - the rooms are very oldfashioned for what you pay - the staff. You don't get the 'resort' feel for the price that you pay. Very unfriendly, are not happy to answer your questions. They will prove this by the response they will give to this review.

Lovely resort with fantastic view over the sandmills and ocean. We stayed for a few nights and relaxed on the beach, enjoyed the pools and the restaurant. A quiet and romantic place. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We ate the catch of the day and pasta that both tasted great. Tip is to bring mosquito repellent as there are some vicious bugs in the area. Rooms are equipment with repellent too so make sure to use it.

The room and the hotel area are very nice. They did a good job retaining the history of the site. However the beach is 10 euros each to use, the pool is only available to those in the suite hotel rooms, and the staff aren't very friendly or helpful.

Agua Green Resort is situated in the serene town of Reitani, offering a peaceful getaway from city life. The resort has garnered high user ratings, particularly for its prime location and cleanliness. Guests can enjoy various amenities including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, terrace, garden, restaurant, bar, fitness center and room service. Visitors have praised the spacious and clean rooms with private terraces as well as the well-maintained pool area. The staff is described as friendly and accommodating.
We really enjoyed our stay! Our room was very big, perfectly clean and we had our own big terrace right outside. The pool area is very well maintained! The staff was always friendly and helpful - during breakfast it can get a little busy since there is not much space, but that didn’t bother us. The little puppies running around made our stay even more perfect. We would come back anytime.

We just completed 4 nights at the resort and we found it to be a very relaxing place. (I have a 2 year old son so it is not often that I can say that!). The pool is beautiful and all of the staff that work in the bar/restaurant there were fantastic. They were all friendly and playful with our son, and a special mention to Adam who really went above and beyond to distract my son so that we could eat in peace! The only things that I think could be improved on is the curtains in the room because the room was filled with sunlight from 5:45am, which woke my son up early. And an option of a coffee machine in the room would be great, our villa was the furthest from the bar and I think it would be relaxing to be able to have a coffee in the room sometimes. Other than that it’s a great place and we will definitely return!
Catr90 — Google review
The resort grounds and pool area are beautiful and well-maintained. However, if you're not a fan of dogs, be aware that there are several on the premises. Unfortunately, the rooms we booked were not up to standard. There is no window for ventilation, and you have to leave the entrance door open to get fresh air. Due to poor ventilation, the room had an unpleasant odor. I also experienced allergies throughout the night and discovered that the AC filters and bathroom extractor were covered in dust and hadn't been cleaned. During breakfast, the selection was limited, and the eggs on the buffet were cold. When we requested freshly fried eggs, the waitress, Stefania, initially told us there would be an extra charge. After explaining our concern, they kindly agreed to make some for us without additional cost. On a positive note, the reception staff were very accommodating. They refunded us for the night we didn't stay and assured us they would address the cleanliness issues, so future guests don't encounter the same problems.
Daniel C — Google review
Our stay at Agua Green Resort in Marzamemi was downright disappointing. The most important thing to realise (when comparing this review with other reviews) is that there are stark differences between the rooms. There is a newer part with modern/renovated rooms (explaining all the positive reviews), and then there is an older part... We booked the garden villa and the photos on the website do not match reality at all. Have a look for yourself with the two attached pictures (one from the website, one from reality). The cottages appear bright and modern in the pictures, but in reality the accommodation is poorly maintained. Also, the hygiene left a lot to be desired: there was mold in the dishwasher (despite 10x washing on 70°C), a lot of dust in the air conditioning, and the sofa cover was downright filthy. Still, there are some positive points: the staff is friendly, the dinner was tasty, and the location is ideal, close to a nice beach bar. The resort definitely has potential, but the garden villa’s (at least the one we were in) are absolutely not recommended for anyone looking for comfort and quality (especially at this price point). Hopefully, the old rooms will be renovated soon as the location itself certainly has potential.

The location is superb, close to the beaches and baroque towns and the park has a very nice layout with enough privacy. Staff was very nice and helpful. We only had problems with running out of hot water quite fast, so cold showers. It is a peaceful place to be, popular with families with small kids it seems

For the very high price I expected much more: it started with our arrival. No one directly welcomed us and explained the location. Room was small and no space to store luggage. Breakfast was always the same and not satisfying for the high price. The personnel was uninformed and unmotivated. No one showed ownership or was customer focused. Best thing: the pool! But please provide more shadow especially if you travel with kids.

(Translated by Google) Hospitality and kindness, in this B&B you will feel truly pampered!! Spotlessly clean and functional rooms. Superlative breakfast, with fresh and local products, both sweet and savory. Among the latter I particularly liked the cherry tomatoes, bread and olives! Among the desserts, the donut and the homemade tart. Everything really delicious. I didn't try the pool due to lack of time, but I definitely will next time!! (Original) Accoglienza e gentilezza, in questo b&b vi sentirete davvero coccolati!! Camere pulitissime e funzionali.

Resort hotel
Zubebi Resort is an upscale hotel located in Pantelleria, offering a magnificent experience for families and honeymooners alike. The resort features various dammusi scattered throughout a beautiful Mediterranean garden, each renovated with attention to detail. Guests can enjoy the full-service spa, outdoor pool, sauna, and even rent bicycles for recreational activities. The staff's kindness and professionalism are highlighted as they provide valuable advice and suggestions for exploring the wonderful island.
We spent one week in this lovely place away from the city chaos. Surrounded by amazing countryside with sea view, you can enjoy staying in “dammusi”, a typical habitation in Pantelleria. Eraldo, Concetta and Sofia are super host: always smiling and energetic! they welcomed us from the beginning with valuable advice - restaurants (do not miss Za Teresa, inside the resort), beaches, etc. PS: if you are looking for the best place to smart working, Zubebi is the place! The internet connection works perfectly. We will definitely be back next year
Andrea B — Google review
Magic place in a magic island. In this resort you can experience the real soul of the island sleeping in comfortable rooms built inside the typical dammusi and enjoying the beautiful landscape across the colourful garden, the low olive trees, the vines and the high palm trees. The resort has only a limited number of rooms and this makes it very intimate and welcoming. Service is informal but efficient, attentionally caring for the guests. A real treat for a relaxing stay.
Andrea B — Google review
The Zubebi Resort is an authentic, very special place with a lot of character. It is more shabby chic than chic, which we particularly like. It only has 8 rooms (dammusos), each built in a traditional style. The furnishings are good and very clean, the beds and mattresses are excellent. Above all, the beds are real ‘king size’, which is rather rare in Italy. And what a surprise: there is even a pillow menu. Everyone will find the right pillow for a good night sleep here. The resort also has a small wellness area with sauna, steam bath and hot tub, all of which are excellent. We really enjoyed our time there. But the best thing about the resort is the team. It is very small, very personal and fulfils all your wishes. It's almost like staying with friends. A final tip: Zubebi also offers cars for hire. This has the advantage that you don't lose any time at the airport when picking up and returning a rental car. You just have to realise that the resort's cars are really old and have seen their best days. If that doesn't bother you, you'll make the impression of being a local on the island. We really enjoyed the Zubebi Resort and would love to come back.

An incredible place full of character! Zubebi Resort offer a small paradise where to immerge yourself into a calm and relaxed place. The resort has a main building with a lovely courtyard to receive guests, chill and eat breakfast and dinner. There are 7 Dammusi, short walking distance from the main area which guarantee privacy and your own place. The swimming pool is super nice with a beautiful sunset view. Eraldo the owner has managed to shape the resort with his own identity with great attention to details and care for his guests. Last but not least, Isca, the resort restaurant, is the best on the island! Thanks Eraldo and team for making our stay our paradise. will be back soon.

(Translated by Google) We stayed here for a week, had a great time. The resort is very beautiful, with a swimming pool and many common areas to be outdoors. Our suite was absolutely fantastic, double bedroom, double bathroom. The owners are very good and available for advice and suggestions. They also have a nice motorboat down at the port with which they organize tours of the island when possible. A beautiful cove with an adjoining restaurant is just 10 minutes away. To conclude, I would add that every year I change my holiday destination, but I must say that I would like to return to Pantelleria and obviously I have no doubts about the lantern.

Swimming pool, beautiful Mediterranean garden, very good breakfast, courteous and helpful owners. The accommodation, however, exceeded expectations. The "Romantic" suite, in fact, allows you to feel at home. Not the usual room with a bed, but two rooms with small verandas, a perfectly equipped kitchenette, a comfortable bathroom and several wardrobes. Beautiful, comfortable and, at least in the low season, with an excellent quality/price ratio👍 (Original) Posto vicino al centro di Pantelleria, ma al tempo stesso in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa, è un resort molto confortevole.
