Go early in the morning for the freshly hand-made cannoli. I usually have to take them outside to eat, because the wait for a empty table can be long in the busy season. If you have the time eat them at a table with a nice expresso. The green filled cannoli's are my favorites, I always miss that great taste when I do find one in a Paris bakery.

I LOVED this cafe. Yes, it was very busy and hard to find a table…. But that’s for good reason. They have great pastries at great prices. I didn’t try their savory, but I’m sure it is also very good. I got their cannoli and a large rum baba filled with pastry cream. Both fantastic! The cannoli had a lighter shell than most I had, which didn’t really make it better or worse in my mind. This place was recommended to us. Busy with locals, it’s a great place to grab an arancini or cannoli. Get yourself in line to pay first, then wait for your ticket number to be called.

Loved the granita (chocolate and pistachio) and the brioche buns here, super soft with a lovely hint of citrus. We ended up coming back twice just for the granita and brioche! The arancini catanese was good, though the pistachio one was a bit bland despite being freshly made. The wait for a table can take a bit, but the waiters were kind.

It was recommended to me by my hotel. It was a very good selection of tasty Sicilian food like Arancini, Croissant, sweets, coffee, any many more. I really liked the Cafe al Ginsing, Spinach Arancini, and Pistachio Croissant. Just one drawback is that as this is very popular place, there is sometimes a waiting queue where people sometimes need to stand for say 20mins in peak hours, but it is worth it. Waiters service is good and they speak English. Card payments are accepted.

As for the products, the espresso wasn’t really to my taste, and the desserts I tried were a bit too sweet. Overall, though, it was an okay experience.

AMAZING Arancino! Best of my trip in Sicily. My husband had a Ragu and a had a spinach. They were so moist and delicious. I was unable to find one that was as good the rest of my trip. As far as the other items we tried- the Spritz and aperitivo options and the mini cassata cake and mini cannoli. Those weren’t bad but didn’t blow me away. The cassata was not great in the mini form as once you got through the heavy sugar coating, there wasn’t much left on the inside. And for the price of the tiny cake… two bites was not really worth it. The cannoli was good, just didn’t really love it in the mini form because I prefer the filling ratio of a large cannoli. The service we received from a counter attendant that spoke English was phenomenal! He was so patient and answered all my questions.

We were returning here almost every day for our coffee break during our vacation in Catania, Ognina. Each time we were served in style and very fast. + waiters had patience with our bad language. We had the opportunity to visit Catania this trip and stayed at Liberty Hotel. As a welcome gift they had this almond cookies for us in the room. Their cookies filled with marzipan and they were absolutely delicious. We went to the store and is a beautiful setup. I can't remember the name of the girl that took care of us but even with the language barrier she was pleasant, friendly and great customer service. Everything she gave us to try was delicious. We got some cookies to bring back home to our daughter and 20 days later the cookies are still fresh and taste delicious. If you like sweets I highly recommend this place!

Like others have commented, there was a single employee and they just plucked a chocolate coated Cannolo from the fridge. Unfortunately my Italian wasn't good enough to ask for a fresh one. The Cannolo itself wasn't bad. The ricotta had good flavor but I didn't love the chocolate-covered interior. I know the covering is there to prevent the biscuit from getting soggy but this wouldn't be a problem if they were filled on demand.

Probably was once only a local place, thanks to online reviews much busier. Waited almost 20 mins to order but it was worth it! Cannolo was HUGE and gratefully shared. Best Cannoli I have ever tried. This is probably one of the best places in Sicily to try cannoli and if you come to Palermo you must stop by. The shell is crunchy but not too hard, just perfect, and they have different fillings to choose from and toppings to add on the sides. The fillings are also spot on, creamy but not overly sweet, just perfect. I tried the classic, pistachio, and hazelnut. I could not fault any! Also, a very good touch, if you are allergic to nuts, they will prepare yours at the back to avoid any potential cross contamination.

Lovely, slightly larger cafè and restaurant on a very pleasant commercial street, an extension of Via Emmanuelle towards the bay. Wonderful coffees and pastries, and a nice looking but simple menu with a little something for everyone, including salads. I went back to try their Caesar Salad and it was terrific; lots of most chicken, crispy lettuce and the right amount of tasty dressing. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. They take care of you with good service and good food!

AMAZING gelato! I chose this place randomly when I was craving some ice cream, and I kept visiting it till the end of my trip to Palermo. Pistachio gelato is the best and no one can convince me otherwise, but nocciola (hazelnut) was also top notch. I would also recommend trying gelato in a brioche for a true Sicilian experience 🍨 The brioche itself was soft and delicious as well! 1 portion of gelato in copetta (cup) 1,80€ Gelato in brioche 2€ 100% recommend ❤️

While the easter Eake was acceptable, the pistachio Easter egg was disgusting. It tasted artificial and powdery, with absolutely no discernible chocolate or pistachio.

I live in Palermo, this place is so good I brought cannoli all the way to Poland for friends to try. They said it was the best cannoli they've ever had.

Absolutely fantastic little pastry shop. It was not the easiest to find, and i almost gave up. Google maps walking navigation is not the best. But once the hard work of finding the place was over, yowza! Superlative fresh artisanal pastry at supermarket prices. It's at least half the price of the touristy stuff on Via Maqueda. The platter in my picture cost €5 for 10 pieces. A great way to try a whole bunch of uniquely sicilian recipes. Would return in a heartbeat! Note: i didn't see cannoli on offer, but my Italian is weak so i didn't ask.

Cannolo is fresh and delicious. I came late after midtime and many pastries already sold out. Due to the heat of the noon I opted for a medium gelato in a cup - the portion was enormous (which is a positive surprise!). I chose pistachio and fiordilatte and enjoyed it very much. The pastries looked amazing too!

Far too much sugar. We were looking forward to try a cannoli in Sicily and this was a recommended place. We are not big Sweet lovers but we love to try new sweets and pastries when we travel. This was far too much sugar on it. If you like your sugar you will love it! If not keep away! We feel a bit less sugar would let the ricotta and the fruit flavour to pop up a bit more. The staff makes this place really nice! 3 stars only because the overdose of sugar!

Laboratorio is better...there, I said it! I love to join a crowd. Most of the time, it works out as well as 19yo Arnold Schwarzenegger's first muscle bulging contest. I can't say this was a fail. My cannolo was pretty good. It wasn't even the usual coma sweet...only punch drunken. Only thing is, I chose it because everything else looked about as tempting as a hot chocolate at the beach. And I'm a guy that will finish a coma inducing cannolo, at speed, so I don't pass out before I finish it. I will take another swing and update. I did. If anything I'd lower my rating. Cassatta is good, not great. The stuffed and soaked red stale don't thing would be great, if I still smoked pot. Nothing wrong with it. But laboratorio 5 minutes away is way better.

Loved the bombas and other breakfast treats from this location. Our friends have been visiting San Vito Lo Capo for 15 years and this is their favorite pasticceria - additionally they can accommodate gluten free (though probably you need to speak fluent Italian to ensure that haha)

Amazing, fresh, super yummy cannoli!! I love how they only do traditional cannolis which means they know what they are doing. The lovely man working there invited us to go into the kitchen to watch them make the cannolis and talked us through the process which added to the experience!

Best cannoli in Sicily. The lady inside immediately knew what we were there for cannoli and prepared them freshly filled. After trying cannoli in 6–7 other places across Sicily, these still stood out as the best we had. A great little stop if you want a perfect example of the Sicilian classic.

When you are in Italy, you must try Cannoli of course! There is a bunch of sweets there but I only got Cannoli with 2 flavors: pistachio and almond. It is so good! It is pretty huge, can be shared for 2 people.

Came across this lovely little spot while strolling down the main street. The authentic Italian-style bakery immediately caught my attention and it did not disappoint! The lady behind the counter was so friendly and kindly explained the different types of pastries. I went with the almond paste , and she even showed me another almond variation. The pastry was absolutely delicious. Mildly sweet, perfectly gooey on the inside, and filled with that wonderful aroma of almond ☺️

The cannoli are tasty, however I feel we were “tricked” by the labelling of the almond pastry. The label simply has “2 Euros” so we assumed it was per weight as most pastries are in Italy. The attendant kept encouraging us to buy the almond pastry for family and friends etc. When we got to the cashier, she whispered the total price was “109 Euros”’ for 3 boxes of almond pastry, 2x cannolis & 2x bottles of water. 😳 it was too late by then, they differently take advantage of tourists!! I bet she whispered the price because she didn’t want the other customers to hear!!! BEWARE OF THE ALMOND PASTRIES THE SHOP ATTENDANTS WILL KEEP TELLING YOU TO TRY IT. Lovely location for a snack and drink after a long day walking. Nice views, quite quiet but service is speedy and friendly. 5 stars for a small board of snacks and zero cover charge. That's a huge positive and so offering a tip was a pleasure rather than having it taken from you even if the service is bad. Other restaurant owners take note. Grazie 🇮🇹

Our favourite pit stop in Lipari! Tucked away in an alley, away from all the chaos around Marina Corta, they offer a tranquil haven to enjoy some wonderful coffee. There are also plenty of treats to tempt you, including the Sicilian favourite "brioche con gelato" (ice cream sandwich).

Cute spot on the water with boats bobbing and water gently waving back and forth. Service is quick, they take credit cards, and the desserts and drinks we had were yummy. I thought the “deconstructed” Cannoli would be interesting but best to stick with the original.

It’s a small, quiet place with outdoor seating and a nice view — perfect for a cappuccino ☕ and something sweet This is a well-known bakery that’s been around since the 1960s, when Maria started it after learning how to make traditional Sicilian pastries from nuns I had a cassatina, a slice of ricotta cake, and a few small sweets. All were good, though a bit too sweet for my taste — but that’s typical of Sicilian desserts 😅. I noticed the place gets quite busy later in the day, with people lining up and buying pastries to take home as gifts A lovely local spot that’s definitely worth trying if you’re in Erice 💛.

Simply the best sweets in Sicily. Whatever you will pick you will be shocked by it's taste! Prices are OK, usually there is a line to get them but it's totally worth unless it goes out the shop which means like 1h + of wait. But if you got time do it, it's worth. Genovese is the main sweet here, but go ahead and try each one.

Even though it’s in a very busy and touristic area, I was not disappointed! We had 3 Aperol Spritz (10€ each) and they brought some small snacks which were nice! If you are in the old center of Catania and you want a quick Aperol with some bites, it’s not a bad option.

I spent a few days in Catania and went there almost daily at different times. I tried several coffees and desserts, most of them were perfect. What really stood out for me was the freddo espresso and the small fruity tart. The staff were very friendly, unlike what some reviews say.

Don’t go here! We went there on a Saturday morning and we had to wait 30 minutes to order. The place was well visited, but I think it was just that the staff were so slow and not paying enough attention to the tables. My friend had the brioche with mulberry & pistachio granita. She liked it. Apparently, this cafe is specialized in sweets and desserts. I ordered ham and cheese panini and it was pathetic. I wish I took a photo of the sandwich. I don’t recommend this place at all unless you are willing to wait to place your order for 30+ minutes.

First thing straight after landing, some local guy in the main square recommended it to go for the breakfast. We went and had pistacchio corneto and arancino ragu with coffee and oj. Food was great, a lot of flavours and perfect coffee to it did the job. I would recommend it too :)

After trying many cannolis in Palermo, I can confidently say this was by far the best. In addition to their amazing cannolis, we sampled a variety of mignons and an iris — and everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was wonderful too, filled with local workers grabbing a quick bite and kids returning from school, which made it feel genuinely authentic. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We had food elsewhere in Palermo that was half as good for twice the price. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting — I honestly wish I could eat here every day.

While the cakes themselves were nice, the man who served us was rude. Obnoxious clearly into his phone more than serving us and being somewhat stuck up with my friend's best attempt to speak Italian seemingly consistently misunderstanding which cake she wanted, one or two pieces of. He then proceeded to play with his phone as he was half wrapping our package and generally seemed just annoyed at our existence. The taste of cakes was definitely not worth the attitude that we were given in this place

Pasticceria Cappello is truly the best sweet shop in Palermo. The quality of their baked goods is outstanding, and I absolutely love it. Every time I stay in Palermo, this place makes me fall in love with the city even more. I ended up going there every day to enjoy their delicious cakes and pastries. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to this ice cream shop for years and just decided to review it. I usually like the ice cream and today ordered a pistachio granita and brioche which was OK. What I didn't love was the attitude of one of the staff. Everyone I have met here is usually very nice but I seemed to have annoyed this person by just asking her a question about paying. The location is very central in Marina and the outdoor seating was in the shade which was appreciated. With so many good ice cream shops in the area it isn't necessary to go here if you want great ice cream.

We had toasted almond and pistachio granita with Brioche, Cappuccino and filled Cornetto. The Brioche was good and my partner liked the cornetto which was average to me. Granita was ok, very watery and to sweet compared to others. Service inside is friendly and helpful. Waiter outside keeps dropping trash and plastics and is to lazy to pick the trash up that is consequently blown into the nearby ocean. Water is served in single use plastic cups. Didn't the EU probihit single use plastics for a good reason? View is really beautiful with direct view of the beach and ocean. Prices are low and at average italian level, despite the very touristy characteristics of the area. Experience was ok overall but we will not return.

We will honestly miss this place & be back on our next vacation! Everything we tried was excellent. Yes, it’s slightly on the upper price range, but really not by much—especially when you consider the quality of the products and the fact that you’re on an island… Of course, we recommend the granita and brioche (a classic combo), but we also sampled most of the morning pastries and none of them disappointed. The pistachio croissant is a killer—absolutely delicious. The terrace, while close to the main street, is set back enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re close to the road. It had a relaxed, holiday vibe that we really appreciated.

An institution here in Lipari. Very good granita and brioche, however the service is really awful and this drives the poor rate. The older waitress has no manners. I’ve kindly asked for a bottle of water, she snorted saying “one moment!” and the bottle never arrived. I struggled to get a coffee before the rest of the order. This is "The Shop" of world-famous Fiasconaro empire, with their flagship café, pasticeria, gelateria, and shops congregating around Fontana di Piazza Margherita at the center of the town of Castelbuono. Many renowned European pastry/dessert brands maintain a shop in their town of origin (like Pasticceria Veneto of Iginio Massari in Brescia), with surprisingly reasonable prices and generous service by proud local staff. Perhaps that's their way of honoring their roots, and this place is no exception. Here, they offer a huge range of Sicilian bakeds goods and others not found elsewhere, and in addition they liberally share samples of panettone or colomba. At the café, the queen on the menu in our opinion is panettone con gelato, where a voluminous portion of their signature Panettone Tradizionale comes with well-paired scoops of gelato. Granita might not have creamy texture but has attractive flavors and not overly sweet. Cannolo, Cassata and other Sicilian specialties also pack well-balanced flavors and textures. The shop across the street from the café stocks pretty much all Fiasconaro offerings of the season, at lower prices. The unboxed versions of panettone or colomba are excellent deals. Bring empty suitcases! To summarize, Pasticceria Fiasconaro of Castelbuono is an almost magical place that transports the guests beyond those pretty boxes in upscale department stores and into a land of bountiful charms that somehow successfully merges both provincial Sicilian character and refined elegance. A pilgrimage destination for all pastry & dessert lovers.

The panettone was incredibly tasty — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. Ideal place to sit, enjoy your coffee, and taste some panettone with manna. The staff was really friendly.

This place on its own makes your visit to Castelbuono worth it ( not that the town doesn’t deserve it, because it’s a very lovely town). Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. From panetone to gelato and even their coffee. Please don’t miss it, just come here if you are around. On top of everything, the stuff was super nice, they even gifted a mini panetone to our daughter.

The cornettino with pistachio cream was from heaven, also the one with tomato and mozzarella was quite fresh and interesting. Got panettone with us home and was super fresh and delicious 🌟 a huge plus that we can buy all the delicious stuff without packaging because then less garbage if it’s not for a present. I had the pistachio one: the flavour was so rich and creamy, it was lovely. The brioche was outstanding. It brought me back to when I was a child, and my grandma would buy me granitas in summer!

Clean classy place. Macaroons were beautiful. Gelato was good. The chocolate in the displays looked amazing.

Amazing coffee, very intense and delicious. All deserts that we took were very nice. They have also ice cream and salty pastry.

C&G is always good for hanging out with friends because of their wide variety of choices for both aperitivo and dolce. My favourite is the Nutella cheesecake with moose paired with ginseng coffee. Their cocktails and wines are also competitive in proce and quality. I usually celebrate there and even on normal basis when I just want to chill. Perfect place for several purposes.

Well, that was underwhelming! Went here with admittedly somewhat of an expectation. It was a total bust. Ravioli was fine, but it said meatballs on the menu and came with random pieces of meat. The kids version of the ravioli without meat was still the same price. Pretty steep if you ask me. The seafood pasta my wife had for >>20€ didn’t have much seafood to speak of. Was the Chef on holiday and let the intern cook??? I will not be going back… ever…

Had lunch at this restaurant which staff provides excellent service. This restaurant is located in the back streets away from the tourist crowds. It is worth the walk. The restaurant is decorated with large modern paintings and other nice decorations. We have ordered their salads, which were nice fresh and of a sizeable portion.

We had a beautiful evening here! The fixed price is a great deal and it was great to have a completely vegetarian option. We started with a Sicilian champagne which was recommended by our server and was delicious. All the food and wines were great and service was well paced and attentive.

For a restaurant from “renowned chef” Cicco Sultano, I was massively disappointed. The bread served to us was obviously cut hours before and had started to go dry. Vitello tonnato - the veal was tough, really tough, the tuna sauce tasted nothing like tuna, and a Very synthetic flavour. (Didn’t eat it. Still got charged) Pasta con le sarde was sweet and less than 100g of pasta, maybe the chef used sugar instead of salt 2 x potions of pasta Norma, there was a strange purée that was effectively like having a mouthful of glue. We ordered a second bottle of water that never arrived. A completely underwhelming experience, that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. It’s a restaurant placed to take advantage of unsuspecting tourists. In my opinion. Staff are rude, unwelcoming, and honestly couldn’t care less. 3 pastas 1 water 1 veal tonnato. Was just under €80. Disgraceful.

We had a delicious dinner at I Banchi. It is more expensive than the average restaurant however it’s completely worth it if you want to “treat” yourself one night. That being said the prices are not at all exaggerated for the quality. Everything was very tasty and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The tuna also melted in your mouth. Also very nice staff. Highly recommend!

Lovely Bistrot owned by Ciccio Sultano - Micheline starred chef from the fine dining Restaurant “Il Duomo” still inside Ragusa. Basically you get an amazing meal, without having to spend 100-150€.

Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. Every dish we ordered was mouthwatering, beautifully plated and consisted of genuine Sicilian food. Highly recommended!

Cannolo here is not just a dessert; it's heaven. It's the best I've had in my life, with tasty ricotta and a perfect crunch.

The best Modican hot chocolate we had ever tried. We also asked for heavy cream (panna) - fabulous and unforgettable. They’ve got many options and the cornetti tasted fresh and light. We chose to seat inside but I saw that they’ve got many tables outside as well.

TLDR: friendly staff, delicious chocolate and cannoli, decent prices! Originally we just came in for a cannoli, but we ended up leaving with a bag of chocolates! First off- the cannoli itself was really good. They fill them as you order so they don’t get soggy. (But we got them to go and they were still crispy after a couple of hours) the ricotta cream was fluffy but not too sweet, and they were very generous with the pistachio sprinkles. They then offered us some chocolate and hot chocolate samples, and told us a little bit about the history of the cafe and chocolate shop. (You can really tell how proud and passionate they are about their chocolates!) Apparently the father of the cafe owner was one of the chocolate pioneers in Modica, and he still insists on making chocolates by hand to this day. They have a great selection of chocolates at a fair price (tad bit lower than other places in the area). They even sell 100% cocoa chocolates and their hot chocolate powder! Oh, if you haven’t had Modica hot chocolate, I highly recommend it if you like chocolate fudge. They make their hot chocolate with either water or milk, depending on your preference. Milk can be a little too heavy, but it makes a great dipping sauce if you have it with a pastry!

The best Granita/Cremolata in Modica? Yeah, yeah, much debate about this - every place has the best, I know. But this is *good*. Locals swear by it. A lot. Not just the locals - we were there pretty much every day for granita/coffee in the morning, and a couple more during the day 😜 (And yes, the brioche is pretty damn amazing too - just the right texture for dunking)

We had a very complete breakfast with local products. We tried the hot chocolate, Pistacchio croissant, the sicilian cannolo (ricota filling with pistacchio) and their great expresso. All of this for under 10 euros. Great price for very good quailty in Modica's main street. The staff was all super nice and made us feel very welcomed. If you are in Modica, dont look much further!

We are now exploring the beautiful city of Siracusa, Sicilia 🇮🇹 and we always like to start our day with a good cappuccino. We found an incredible coffee shop called “Voglia Matta Mangiafico”. They have very good coffee and delicious authentic Sicilian pastries and cakes. If you want to savour their ice cream on a hot sunny day, do not hesitate because it is delicious. They have many different flavours one better than the other. The staff is so friendly, polite, unique and professional that it is like having a coffee with your family and friends. We recommend this coffee shop to everyone who visits Siracusa, Sicily. You will not regret it 😁👍!

Worst granita I’ve had in years of travelling Italy. Icy watery tasteless and expensive. €3.50 for a small takeaway cup. So bad I binned it. Once famed now purely for tourists who don’t know better. There is a reason this bar was empty on a Sunday during lunch.

Can't recall its name of this heavenly chocolate boob but it's OFF THE CHAIN !!! The crunchy nutty chocie cover, the delightful vanila. But the triumph; chocolate inside that surely is the byproduct of an illegitimate meeting of Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and Bacio under a dark moonless night. If you place your ear next to it and really focus you can hear the dulcet tunes of Barry White coming from within ...it seriously is that smooth and cool.

Gluten free flavors( not sure about cross contamination). Ricotta and pear gelato has a crunchy almond crisps on it and gf also bachio with hazelnuts. Gluten free cannoli and pistachio cream and brioche. Gf Ice cream cakes in fridge. Ask which is gluten free. Cannot have the seven veil since worker checked and it had gluten. Gelato not too sweet but certain flavors less creamy and more icy side.

The best orange juice you will ever have. (It was October time) Very friendly staff. Didn’t try the desserts but they look awesome.

The service was very nice, and the sweets - simply delicious, and definitely not overpriced. I recommend to anyone! Whether you want to try amazing cannoli or cassata (or cassatina like me) - this is the place to go.

Best pastry store in Taormina, plus decent Gelato, if stingy amount. Cannoli are second best we had in Sicily, with chocolate and pistacio ends. A huge variety of cookies (sweet/savory) and pastries. Always crowded and a little chaotic in getting an order in. A sensory overload of color and smells and options. No real eat-in options. Well worth visiting and browsing.

Sorry for the length, but it’s a good story. My wife and I, and four other family members, including our 18-year-old granddaughter, travelled to Sicily from Buffalo, NY last July and spent a few days in Taormina. We stopped into Pasticceria D'amore, a cute gelato and sweets shop on a busy corner in the northern section of the city. The store is charming, the people friendly and accommodating, and the gelato wonderful. But the story of our visit begins when our granddaughter’s cherished friendship ring slipped out of her hand and rolled under one of the display cases. As our granddaughter sat sobbing, the folks at the store bent over backwards (literally) to try and retrieve it, spending 20 minutes fashioning cardboard, wire, and paper hooks to try and scoop it out, to no avail. All this while the store was teeming with customers. Finally, we were told that in a few months they would shut down and perform their regular maintenance program and would be better able to do a thorough search. We left Sicily thinking she would never see the ring again. Fast forward six months as our family was waiting to board a flight to Disney World. My phone rang, displaying an international number, and I dismissed the call. Just as I was entertaining the idea that it might have been from the shop, it rang again. Indeed, it was Manuela from Pasticceria Gelateria D'Amore. In the best English she could muster, Manuela said they had found the ring! After several weeks of communicating back-and-forth, our granddaughter’s ring arrived at our house in March this year. You will love this shop and all its treats. We will always remember Pasticceria Gelateria D'Amore for its kindness. Grazie di cuore, Manuela.

Excellent! The menu isn’t always the same so you can go more than once a day and find different stuff. They speak several languages.

Kind girl serving at the pastry desk was the best of this place. Just tried their pan d'arancio and it was too sugary and not tasty. A simple tiny bakery sold me the same but it was much better.

Bar none the BEST place to get your sweet tooth fix in Sicily. Definitely a place to visit. We came here almost every weekend sometimes more. Everything here is good with great selection for everyone. My all time favorite is the white chocolate strawberry cake.

Not sure why this place has less than 4 stars, as long as you are going here for the Riccotta-filled cannoli. This was our FAVORITE cannoli in Taormina. We were told this by a local and we can't refute it. The filling was the lightest and creamiest of all we tried, the pastry was crisp, and we loved how they added candied orange peel into one side and chocolate chips into the other. At 3 Euro per cannoli, with a place to sit down, we could not complain! We went back multiple times. Also, we had no issues with the service or the bill - everything was correct and the servers were so polite and attentive. We can't speak to any of the cakes or coffee, but the cannoli was 10/10. Would highly recommend!

Recently visited for an aperitif with some friends, we tried the new "sprits Manu" and it is awesome 👍🥳🎉🥳🎉 Very nice cannoli , cassata and other little cakes ... I was there with a friend and we shared more then a few individual cakes 🤣..... Coffee is also good 👍 there are also a good selection of drinks have a look on the menu. I choose this bar for breakfast in the morning and coffee and drinks at times in the evening... It can be very busy so be aware of social distancing take a sit and wait to be served it can take while but it's safe ☺️. This bar is on the main Street of Taormina (pedestrian only area) so it's understandable pricey but to me it's well worth it 👍 The service is great and I must say they are really friendly. I recommend it to all you .

Was expecting more but everything was underwhelming, tiramisu was a cake instead of made by lady finger, and everything else pretty ordinary. The vibe sitting outside was great though.

First and best cannoli we had during our time in Sicily (granted only 5 days). Went back for Tiramisu which was great, and coffees were good. Coffees not stand out though - the stars are for the dessert!

I visited this café 5 times during my 7-day vacation – that alone should tell how amazing it is! 😊 The staff is incredibly friendly and quick, always welcoming and attentive. I especially loved the Cappuccino – absolutely delicious and served nice and hot. The left one at the photo that looks like a donut was my favorite piece to eat. Everything I tried was fresh and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

The arancini were delicious, perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with cheese inside. They were bigger than expected, and we both ended up completely full. Gelato is also worth trying, we chose chocolate and berry flavors, with the chocolate being particularly rich and memorable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back next time!

i'm glad i listened to the reviews and went here - everything was great and the staff was very nice. the fragola granita: seemed fresh and non-artificial, good sweetness level, refreshing. the cannoli: had great ricotta filling, on the sweeter side so grab a coffee, the shell wasn't oily unlike in some other places, size of it was massive! the tart: it's marmalade, again, had a pleasant natural taste - no synthetic stuff! prices are good considering the location.

Had an aubergine bun, brioche and granita here. The granita was flavourful (pistacchio & chocolate) and the brioche seemed fresh and just perfect. The aubergine bun was delicious too. Kind staff. Would come again.

Amazing family business, Ficara is a great place to go for breakfast or for a quick branch. Amazing local products always fresh and delicious. The service also is the best , really nice and frindly people. We took our breakfast every day of our staying in Catania ( except Monday when they are close ) and we will come back for sure on our next trip to Catania . I had a Very fresh and delicious strawberry gelato served in a glass - which makes a big difference and makes the event. My wife enjoyed authentic delicious chocolate and boule of stracciatella and a mix. Also the necessary messina beer. Good price excellent friendly service. Thanks to all.

We tried numerous cannoli in Sicily and this bakery makes THE BEST! It is family run for generations as the kind owner explained to us. I have never truly enjoyed a traditional ricotta cannoli before, but we went back to the pastry shop three times because they were delicious perfection. We had the traditional ricotta, the pear (wow!), and chocolate. Very affordable as well! You can’t go wrong with this bakery!

A must try when in Taormina! The best cassata and there are so many choices for marzipan fruits. Totally recommend it!

Awesome fruit cannoli - just look at their faces! We also tried the cassata. This local Sicilian speciality is definitely something you should taste whilst on the island. We were unsure at first, due to it containing marzipan. However, once we learned of this cute little sweet, we’re glad to have relented as it was delicious. The pralines were far too sweet for me though.

They must stop for the tastiest of bakery items. We waited for warm fig tarts mini canoli, marzipan treats, they also have samplings that you can do including almond cookies and many others.

I came here multiple times while in Taormina and really loved their pastries, especially the pasticcini di mandorle. I kept coming back to try all the flavors, which tasted natural and without anything artificial - some of the best we had during our trip. The marzipan is also beautiful, and the pistachio cannoli was especially delicious. I highly recommend stocking up when you visit. I made the mistake of only buying a few things on the first day and had to come back for more because everything was so good!

This was our opening and closing place of our short stay in Siracusa. We love the staffs who were so friendly and helpful with my son’s allergies. Cheaper prices compared to other places, but quality is very high, good value for money. Also the atmosphere and environment was very chilling and clean.

Just passed this bakery by chance after visiting the Archeological Park. We had the best Arancini we’ve had so far in Sicily. Delicious!

Sicilian bar with pastry, coffee... Sicilian sweets in their highest quality and great coffee! Arancini was great too. Staff is nice and prices really really affordable, when visit Syracuse, I recommend to go there, don't need to hesitate!

A great little coffee shop serving just magical hot chocolate... They have 5 different types. To select from: dark, pistachio, white, normal and another one I forgot... I went with the pistachio and 3 small cakes and it was a perfect sugar hit to keep me running until dinner later.

Your one stop for every Sicilian delicacy ! Be it for a quick lunch or to enjoy a sweet dessert , you are sure to find something to pleasure your palate here. Among the sweet dishes be sure to try the Raviola con Ricotta or the Panzerotto con Ricotta. They are exquisite. Personnel is super friendly. Honest pricing helps too!

Caffè Cavallaro is a lovely spot situated across from Piazza Municipio. The classic Sicilian pastries and sweets are beautifully made and you can tell a lot of care goes into them. The coffee is excellent too, just what you’d hope for in a proper Italian bar. What really stood out though was the granita, absolutely delicious and refreshing, especially on a hot day. It’s clear they know what they’re doing here. A great place to start your morning or take a quiet break in the afternoon.

Fantastic café with good espresso, granita and pastries. Friendly waiter who speaks good English and is happy to give recommendations. Outdoor seating on a beautiful plaza. It is also one of the few places that offers free iced water.
