Rajasthani restaurant
Vegetarian restaurant
When it comes to experiencing the flavors of Rajasthan, Dal Bati Churma is a must-try signature dish. This traditional Rajasthani cuisine features Bati, a flaky round bread made from wheat flour dough that's either steamed or baked in a tandoor. Along with this iconic dish, visitors can enjoy an array of Rajasthani, Punjabi, and South Indian food at a mellow restaurant that also showcases folk dance performances to promote Rajasthani culture.
I recently visited Rajasthani Thali and had a wonderful experience. The food was truly delicious and authentically Rajasthani — full of flavor, well-balanced spices, and served in generous portions. Every dish on the thali tasted fresh and perfectly cooked, giving a real taste of traditional Rajasthani hospitality. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, polite, and made sure that everything was served hot and on time. They maintained a friendly attitude throughout, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The tea at the end was also excellent — rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to finish the meal. Another highlight was the pricing — very nominal for the quality and quantity they offer. It’s rare to find such good food and service at such reasonable rates. Overall, Rajasthani Thali is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience authentic Rajasthani cuisine with warm hospitality and great value for money. Highly recommended!
Mukesh M — Google review
I would rate the food at 3.5. I took the Rajasthani dal bati churma thali. While the simple bati was little hard to break, the masala bati covered for it and tasted good with good tenderness. Churma was really soft to gulp down and tasted very good. Dal was good with rice and khichi and papad. Disappointed with the kadhi as it was too sour to digest and gatte ki sabzi had tangy flavour due to tomato being used. I felt if they remove tomato and prepare it with buttermilk or curd, it would taste great. In salad, got only the onions. While the ambience is good and the welcome is great. Overall 3.8 experience. Should improve on simple bati, gatte sabzi and kadhi.. Would visit again if my views could be improved ☺️
Shreyans M — Google review
Everything is ok but do improve ambience if you are charging 350 per thali 😐
Arjun R — Google review
Service is fast and personalised They take care about your satisfaction. And ask you to take dish as per your choice and requirements. Atmosphere was electrified as people were enjoying , whether they are solo, like me or with family or with friends. Food overall taste was good . As unlimited thali was there , so you can refill unlimited times to every dish in thali . Masala bati was soft, tasty and very palatable. However the plain bati is bit hard compared to masala Bati . But still taste was good . All variety taste was very good . I enjoyed every bit of that thali .
Nitin S — Google review
I ordered Rajwadi thali Rs 575. Best food items were daal and chawal. In sweets churma was good. I didn't like Kadhi and ker sangri. Rest of the things were ok. The staff was friendly and told us which items are to be eaten together. My suggestion for eating unlimited thali would be to skip eating plain baati and bajra roti first. Those will fill you up instantly. Ask for puri instead of bajra roti.
Dhruv — Google review
The taste was good , although not as per my expectations. The staff was humble , the overall experience was worth the price.

Rajasthani Thali Dal Bati Churma is a dedicated vegetarian restaurant in Bani Park, Jaipur (Gayatri Sadan, AC‑4, Sawai Jai Singh Highway, near Collectorate Circle). It specializes in the typical Rajasthani cuisine, especially the signature *Dal Bati Churma* thali. Opens daily around 11 AM and stays open till about 11 PM. The restaurant is well‑known among locals and tourists alike, often rated ~4.1‑4.2 out of 5 on many platforms. 1. **Authentic Taste of Key Dishes** Many reviews praise the Dal Bati Churma options for being close to traditional Rajasthani flavour. The *bati*—both plain and masala variants—receive positive feedback, especially when hot and served with enough ghee. Churma (sweet component) is often described as soft, tasty, and fulfilling expectations. The *dal* is generally good, comforting, though some variation exists. 2. **Variety in the Thali** The thali often includes more than just dal, bati, churma: items like *gatte ki sabzi*, *kadhi*, chutneys, rice, papad, salad, etc. In some special thalis, multiple types of churma (plain, besan etc.) or special baati are included. These add richness and variety. Unlimited refills are available in many cases for the thali, which many find a plus. 3. **Ambience & Staff** For many, the ambience is decent; not very fancy or luxurious, but sufficient for enjoying traditional food. The place is considered family‑friendly. Staff are often described as polite and welcoming. Service is considered decent especially during non‑peak hours. 4. **Value to Some Diners** Several reviews mention that for the price paid, especially in the mid‑range thalis (~₹350‑₹525 depending on type), the meal gives good variety and enough quantity. For people wanting to try traditional food in Jaipur without going for high‑end places, this place tends to satisfy. 3. **Price vs Expectation** A number of diners believe that the thali is on the pricier side, especially if portions are not generous or food not up to the best standard. Some feel charged for full plates even if parts are missing or if churma portions are small. 4. **Ambience / Cleanliness Not Always Excellent** While many are okay with the ambience, some say it could be better — décor is simple, lighting or layout perhaps could be improved. Cleanliness is generally acceptable but occasional lapses (table cleanliness, washrooms etc.) have been mentioned. --- ## **Detailed Breakdown of Key Items** * **Bati**: When well done, it is crisp‑outside, soft inside, appropriately ghee‑coated. But if overbaked or left sitting, becomes hard. The masala bati is generally liked more than plain in many reviews. * **Dal**: Flavorful in many instances; comfortingly spiced. But some find it less robust than home‑cooked versions. Sometimes flavour balance or consistency (thickness, salt, spice) are off. * **Churma**: Sweet churma tends to be a highlight. Multiple variants of churma are appreciated. Sometimes plain churma or besan churma are better rated than special types. * **Supporting dishes**: Gatte ki sabzi and kadhi are often present; some people love them, others find them sour or over‑tomatoey. Chutneys, salad, papad usually help balance. --- ## **Final Verdict** If you're in Jaipur and want to experience Dal Bati Churma in a setting that’s fairly close to the traditional, this restaurant does a good job. Expect solid food, good variety, and a thali experience that gives more than just the basics. For casual dining or meeting friends/family, it works well. However, don’t expect perfection: during busy times, portions & food temperature may dip; the service may slow; the price can feel a bit steep for what you get in some cases. If possible, visiting at a less busy hour will likely give better experience. Also check if you’re getting enough dal and whether the bati is fresh & soft. Overall, a good pick for traditional Rajasthani food, especially if you prioritise authenticity over fine dining polish.

Nestled in the heart of Jaipur, Laxmi Misthan Bhandar, affectionately known as LMB, is a culinary gem that has been delighting taste buds for nearly three centuries. This iconic establishment is renowned for its extensive vegetarian menu and delectable desserts, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and travelers alike. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting atmosphere that reflects the rich heritage of Rajasthan.
LMB is honestly a Jaipur icon. I’d heard so much about it before my trip, and after visiting, I can say... the hype is real. The moment you walk in, that warm, rich aroma of desi ghee just pulls you in.Their Rajasthani sweets are pure magic. The ghevar is the star... crispy yet soft, sweet but not overpowering, and just melts in your mouth. You can tell it’s made the traditional way, with no shortcuts. And then there are the kachoris… oh my. Perfectly flaky on the outside, with that spicy, flavour-packed filling inside. Badam Milk is refreshing and must try tooo..

Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB) is an absolute gem in the heart of Jaipur! Located in Johari Bazaar, it’s a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Rajasthani food and sweets. I tried their Rajasthani thali, and it was a feast of flavors — dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, and more, all served fresh and with that true homely taste. The portion size was generous, and the service was quick despite the crowd. Their sweets section is legendary — especially the paneer ghewar, rasgulla, and sohan halwa. Everything was fresh, rich, and packed in hygienic boxes, ideal for gifting or travel. The ambiance is old-school and classy, with a clean dining area and polite staff. Yes, it’s a little pricier than regular sweet shops, but the quality and legacy make it worth every rupee. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, LMB is a timeless culinary experience you shouldn't miss in Jaipur!
Astik S — Google review
I recently visited this restaurant and while the ambiance and overall setup seemed fine, my experience was not completely pleasant. The food was decent in taste and presentation, but the staff behavior left a negative impression. They were a little rude and not as attentive as one would expect in hospitality. Customer service plays a big role in dining, and I felt that warmth and courtesy were missing. With some improvement in staff attitude, this place could offer a much better service.
Mukesh M — Google review
Location: Excellent spot — right in the middle of Bapu & Johri Bazaar. Great place to sit and relax after street shopping. Ambience: Comfortable seating and clean interiors. Feels refreshing after the market hustle. Food Quality: Savories like mirchi bada and samosa are good, match local taste. Thali is disappointing — both taste and variety below average. Dal refill took forever; service slow. No chaas served (which is usually standard). Instead, got a salty moongodi soup — not worth it. Pricing: Overpriced for the quality offered. You mainly pay for location and comfort, not food. Verdict: Good for a quick snack or tea break. Avoid the thali — waste of 890 plus taxes
My S — Google review
Everyone suggested to try this place. I found it ok. This is a classic example of legendary business that doesnt really improve with time. Taste was just OK. But many things needs improvement- place hygiene, interiors, staff hygiene needs improvement. World famous paneer ghewar was packed in a mediocre box and tasted just ok. Dint feel there was any panneer flavour.
Vignesh N — Google review
The Ghewar with Rabdi is simply delightful—rich, authentic, and deserves all the buzz. The shop impresses with its sheer variety—dozens of sweets, savory snacks, thalis, and more under one roof. It’s also set in one of Jaipur’s most charming markets, adding to the overall vibe. However, the kachori didn’t hit the mark—could be more flavorful. And while the ambiance is great, service felt a bit slow and certain items seemed a tad overpriced. Still, the stellar Ghewar and extensive menu make it well worth a visit.”
Hirali S — Google review
I visited this shop because many people suggested it, but my experience was extremely disappointing. The hospitality left me traumatised the staff were unbelievably rude and not helpful at all. Even the basics like clean plates were missing, which is unacceptable. I tried their famous Ghewar, but it was far from good. Honestly this place is nothing more than overhyped. As a tourist, I was shocked to see such behaviour from the staff. Definitely not worth the visit.
Rashmi C — Google review
Pathetic experience. Highly priced. mawa kachori of 90/- was worthless - it was stale. No customer focus. Waited restaurant for 10 mins but no manager came for order. Later we went to Masala chowk for Food. Highly recommended. Must try Mahavir Rabdi bhandar for traditional Rajasthani thali and superb Rabdi

Rawat Misthan Bhandar is a must-visit spot in Jaipur, known for its famous Pyaz Kachori. This deep-fried whole wheat pastry is filled with fried onions and spices, making it a delicious snack. The restaurant offers an array of Rajasthani delicacies at affordable prices. The Pyaaz Ki Kachori is a popular street food native to Rajasthan and is best enjoyed with tamarind or green chutney.
Have been having Onion kachori, mirchi pakoda, mava kachori since 2001 aug at this place and nothing has changed. Food taste great, sufficient quantity, hygienic and worth waiting. I lived in Jaipur in past and always love to come this place for breakfast or snacking. I recommend this place to family friends and people in my circle. I even took parcel of kachoris from here and took them to outside Jaipur and they still tasted great. Go for it
Vishrut S — Google review
Very old and famous shop in Jaipur especially fir Kachori . I also tried Pyaaz and Daal Kachori . Taste was good but not out standing. As in north India we do have many similar options like that . Khasta , Bedai etc are available in different shapes and sizes . Quality and Quantity is good at Rawat . And this is the main reason for his popularity. Although having many varieties of sweets and bakery is available. But people especially remember him for Kachori and Ghewar .
Nitin S — Google review
Go here for the peyanj kachori, mawa kachori and gewar. There is no seating arrangement. You pay at the counter... Collect your food and either enjoy it standing around high tables or pack and take it away. Food is tasty.
Joydeep G — Google review
One of the Best Pyaaz Kachoris Ever! Absolutely loved the pyaaz kachori – one of the best I’ve ever had! The sweet shop offers a great variety of items to choose from. The owners are humble and helpful, even suggesting their best sellers. There’s also an air-conditioned seating area on the first floor of the restaurant, which made the experience even more comfortable. Perfect spot for a quick and satisfying bite. Highly recommended!
Himani C — Google review
Kachoris were really tasty specially the Dal Kachori. Only issue is that we have to stand and eat. Raj Kachori was very costly- ₹180.
Mehul D — Google review
Rawat Misthan Bhandar is one of the most iconic spots in Jaipur for local snacks and sweets. The taste truly lives up to its reputation—especially the famous pyaaz kachori, which is crisp, flavorful, and served fresh. Their sweets like mawa kachori and ghewar are also delicious and a must-try if you have a sweet tooth. However, while the food quality and taste are excellent, the hygiene leaves much to be desired. You may notice flies hovering around and even sitting on some food items displayed in the open, which can be quite off-putting. The place is always bustling, and service is quick, but a bit more attention to cleanliness would take the experience to the next level. Overall, great for the authentic Jaipur snack experience—but be mindful of hygiene if you're particular about it.
Pullkit G — Google review
Rawat Misthan Bhandar in Jaipur is one of the city’s most iconic and loved sweet and snack destinations, known especially for its legendary pyaz kachori. Located near Sindhi Camp, it has become a must-visit spot for tourists and locals who want to experience authentic Rajasthani flavors. The shop, bustling from early morning, offers a vibrant atmosphere filled with the aroma of freshly fried kachoris, mirchi vada, samosas, and a wide variety of Indian sweets. What makes Rawat stand out is its consistency and quality. Their pyaz kachori has a crisp, flaky outer layer and a spicy onion filling that perfectly balances heat and tanginess. Many food lovers consider it the best in Jaipur, making it a popular breakfast and evening snack choice. Apart from snacks, Rawat Misthan Bhandar is also known for its delectable sweets like ghewar, rasmalai, gulab jamun, and mawa kachori, which represent Rajasthan’s rich dessert heritage. The shop maintains traditional preparation methods while offering quick service, making it convenient for travelers and office-goers. Whether someone wants to sit inside for a quick bite or grab a packed box for home, the experience is smooth and satisfying. Over time, Rawat Misthan Bhandar has transformed from a simple sweet shop into a cultural food landmark, symbolizing Jaipur’s warm hospitality and love for flavorful, authentic snacks and sweets.

Thalis and More is a popular pure veg restaurant in Jaipur with multiple branches, best known for its award-winning dal bati drenched in ghee and wholesome Rajasthani thali. The flavors are authentic and fulfilling. Though the menu also offers Chinese and Italian, we stuck to Rajasthani delicacies and loved every bite.

Been to this place for lunch Ordered Rajasthan thali and Chur chur naan combo Rajasthan thali consists of aloo pyaaz paneer, Gutta curry, kadhi, kersangri, leh sum chutney, rice, mirchi tipori, 1 bejad roti, 1 missi roti and sweet. Chur chur naan combo consists of Amritsar I chole, 2 Amritsari kulcha, green chutney and pyaaz. Food is good. Service is ok. Busy place with lot of waiting We reached around 1 pm and we got a table ready. After 1:30, place became so busy and lot of waiting outside.

Restaurant serving north indian and Rajasthani cuisine. We tried their Dal baati thali. Very generous portions and service was fast. A decent ambience and seems to be popular as found lot of people waiting for their seats. Tasty food and enjoyed the same. A little over priced. Overall a good experience.
KMK R — Google review
We tried Rajasthani Thali, Dal Baati Churma Thali, Jain Thali, and the Chinese Platter from Thalli & More, and the taste was absolutely amazing! Each dish was full of authentic flavors and truly did justice to its name. The Dal Baati Churma especially stood out — rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. One small instance we faced was when we ordered the Dal Baati Churma again the next day — the dal and baati weren’t served hot that time. Also, the only minus point here is the waiting period, which can be a little long. But apart from that, everything was wonderful. Definitely a must-visit place for thali and food lovers!
Sachin D — Google review
The Rajasthani thali is costing for rs500 per person , which is very high even butter milk and salad is also not given. one time food taste is ok.

Worst food and service experience, not sure why people are dyeing to get worst possible food in Mansarovar. All the new launch’s are pre prodded Macain food available in any mart.
Rohit J — Google review
Quantity doesn’t match expectations. Limited thali was 450 which was certainly not worth it. The only item i liked in the thali was the churma which was made in desi ghee. They don’t give dal with Rajasthani thali. That’s really odd! So far wherever i have had thali in India dal is always served. We had to order dal rice separately. The rice was long grain but lacked any fragrance and the flavour was amiss. Overall I think service could also improve and cost wise i think it’s on the higher side.

When in Jaipur, after exploring the city's attractions, consider visiting Santosh Bhojnalaya for an authentic Rajasthani lunch experience. Situated in Sindhi Camp, this restaurant is known for its delicious Dal Baati, a local specialty. Despite being located at the bus stand, it is highly recommended by locals and visitors alike for its underrated yet delightful food. Another popular option for local cuisine in Jaipur is LMB (Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar).
Best budget place for unlimited daal baati churma thali! > For 300rs. we got 2 thalis. > The waiter crushes(chur) the baatis, adds a small spoon of ghee. Daal, aloo sabzi, gatte ki sabzi, kadhi, churma, salad(cucumber, radish, cut lemon) are given. > The food was yummy! > The seating area and especially the hand washing area could be a little more clean. 🚰 Free drinking water available. Note: My visit was on 7 march 2024.

Place is okay-ish located in the Sindhi camp bus stand opposite main road. But the food dal baati thali is great in taste having variety of flavours in gravy options available served with choorma n mirchi ke tapore with yummy spicy garlic chutney, pickle n 1 sweet. Servers keep on coming to ask if anything gets finished in the thali to serve. A must stop by to enjoy traditional dal baati thali when can not visit the city centre to try Rajasthani cuisines.

Santosh Bhojnalaya is a classic spot for authentic Rajasthani vegetarian food near Sindhi Camp. Located on Station Road, just a short walk from the Sindhi Camp Metro Station and Jaipur Junction railway station, it’s super accessible for travelers and locals alike. The place is known for its affordable thalis—especially the Dal Baati Churma, Kadhi, and seasonal veggies. Portions are generous, and the taste reflects traditional home-style cooking. The ambiance is simple, more like a dhaba, but clean and functional. Service can be hit or miss during peak hours, but the food makes up for it. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills meal that captures the essence of Rajasthani cuisine, this is a solid choice.

Visited on the recommendation of several food blogs. Good taste Authentic taste of Rajasthani Bati Good service Near Sindhi Camp Metro station Located by the side of the main road right after the overbridge if you're coming from the railway station. Dal bati thali ₹180/person.

I visited this restaurant to taste dal bhati churma which is very popular food in Rajasthan. I was disappointed as this dish was not to my liking and the price of this dish was also on the higher side and the service was also very slow may be there were a lot of customers in the restaurant and may be hence the service was slow.

Baati has so much of dust. Cold baati Nothing is tasty it's just if u r hungry and have no time.. Then u can eat anything and go. It's like this only. Very unhygienic. Not suggesting.

North Indian restaurant
Indian restaurant
Restaurant
Suvarna Mahal is a lavishly decorated dining room located in Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, offering the royal cuisines of India's northern regions. The restaurant provides a rich cultural experience of Rajasthan through its cuisine, prepared by a team of chefs with expertise from different regions of the country. The menu is predominantly Indian, featuring dishes from Rajasthan, Awadh, Punjab and Hyderabad.
We visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary, excited to indulge in the grandeur of a royal dining experience. The soaring ceilings, Victorian-style décor, and the grand chandelier overhead created a majestic atmosphere. The dining table and chairs, reminiscent of royal elegance, added to the sense of occasion, making it feel like a true celebration in a regal setting. We opted for a tasting menu featuring the spicier flavors of Rajasthani cuisine, while my wife chose a milder version, showcasing dishes from various regions of India. While the food quality was excellent, it came with a hefty price tag of ₹6,000 per person. Be aware of the additional costs: there’s a 14% alcohol tax on top of your order, along with 9% each for state and federal taxes, which significantly adds to the bill. Our total came to ₹23,000, which included two set menus, one bottle of mineral water priced at ₹350, and a local wine that cost ₹7,000. Despite the high costs, the overall dining experience—from the impeccable service to the stunning ambiance—made it worth a visit.

Dinner at Suvarna Mahal was a truly regal experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with an attention to detail that set the tone for a wonderful evening. The food was a highlight, with each dish showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. Our server was attentive and courteous, ensuring that our needs were met with a smile. The décor was elegant, adding to the overall sense of luxury. What struck me most was the way every element came together to create a seamless and enjoyable experience. It's a place that I'd love to return to, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a special night out in Jaipur.

The dining experience was excellent - great service at the restaurant and great food, perhaps one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. However, the booking experience was awful - incredibly difficult to get through to any of the hotel / restaurant / reservations numbers, and no response to emails. Was told the restaurant was fully booked out a day prior, however, got a call back and got the table 2hrs before the reservation time. In fact, the restaurant was only up to 40% occupied that night, during peak dinner hours (9-11pm).

We originally made a reservation at 1135 AD, but the plan was canceled, so our guide recommended Suvarna Mahal. First of all, the hotel itself is amazing, such a spacious area in the middle of the city, with a large garden where hundreds of peacocks roam freely. It felt like a dream! (We heard they like to eat croissants 🥐 for breakfast.) When we arrived at the restaurant around 7 PM, there weren’t many guests, just us and another table. Our server recommended we try their Thali, so we each got one. I had the Rajasthani Thali, and my friend got the Pan-Indian Thali. The food was nice, and we got to try a little bit of everything! I especially loved the lamb curry; the spiciness was perfect! Apart from the delicious food, it was incredibly nice to dine in such a royal setting. Our server also shared the history of the dining room, the paintings, and the decorations, which made the experience even more special. I feel so grateful that I got to eat here during my first visit to Jaipur. I felt like a princess 👸🏻, thanks to both the atmosphere and the excellent service. I will definitely recommend anyone to visit, for the food, the ambiance, and the amazing service.

This restaurant seems to be involved in a scam on Telegram. I was contacted by someone who promised me ₹200 if I gave this place a 5-star rating and sent them a screenshot. After I did so, they refused to pay and made excuses, saying I was "underage." This is dishonest and manipulative. Restaurants should earn genuine ratings through good food and service, not by tricking people with fake offers. Please be careful and don’t fall for these scams.

A Royale experience which is a splendid feast to the eyes and palette. You just can’t beat it’s elegance or it’s magnificent aura. The service could sweep you off your feet. Do try the mutton dishes and dal makhni. As it’s name goes, the entire food is served in gold polished cutlery and crockery to add some more to your Regal experience.

Spice Court is a charming restaurant located in Jaipur, offering a delightful mix of Indian, Chinese, and European dishes. The restaurant's elegant interiors and inviting courtyard garden create the perfect setting for a family dinner during your vacation. Known for its delectable North Indian and regional specialties, Spice Court prides itself on providing impeccable service and high-quality dining.
Highly recommended by personal friends and it didn't disappoint. I finally had a decent meal at a serene environment with no music blasting. Excellent service; they went out of their way to accommodate me with me personal demands for the salad, which I HIGHLY APPRECIATE. Everything me and my friend ordered was delicious and prepared with great care. Prices were logical in my view; perhaps they could make a point of clarifying all the VAT add-ons that some folks might not notice in the menu. Great dinner experience.

Had a great time with family on a Sunday afternoon. We tried the Lal Maas once more. The place is incredibly well maintained. The food is quite delicious, even though one might feel a bit on the higher side in terms of price. I paid with Zomato and got a discount of 10 percent. Does not pre include service charge in the bill, which is very nice. It is up to the discretion of the patrons. Loved the experience. Would liketo come back one day.

Spice Court is a great place to experience authentic Rajasthani flavors. We tried Jungle Maas, roti, bhuna murg, and rice — everything was delicious, but the Jungle Maas is the clear standout and a must-try! Make sure to tell them your spice tolerance, as they can adjust the heat level to your taste. The staff are polite and attentive, and they add a personal touch by explaining the different Indian and Rajasthani spices kept under the glass table tops — a unique feature that truly lives up to the name “Spice Court.” A lovely dining experience for anyone who enjoys flavorful Indian food.

Visited this much hyped place on a weekend for a family dinner, place was full of foreigners blocking maximum seats and everyone was busy in serving them. We got our table and asked to help us with their non veg thaali, after 10 minutes server came and told us that thaali us not available because of rush so we should change our order. We changed it to their famous laal maans and few breads along with Lemon mojito. We kept on waiting for good 30 minutes to get our order but hardly got any attention as they were busy in pleasing foreigners. After 35 minutes, we got laal maans, which was flavour less, very bland and just frozen meat which wasn't cooked properly. Place was too noisy and they really disappointed us with their service. We even complained it to their manager. Not recommended if they are dealing with large gathering.

Had a wonderful lunch experience at Spice Court, Jaipur, and it truly lives up to its reputation for serving authentic Rajasthani flavors in a refined setting. We ordered Keema Baati with gravy, Laal Maas, and fresh rotis — every dish was rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced in spices. The Keema Baati stood out with its perfect texture and depth of flavor, while the Laal Maas delivered that signature fiery punch — a must-try for anyone who enjoys traditional Rajasthani cuisine. The ambiance is classy and elegant, resembling an old-school club with a calm, polished atmosphere that’s perfect for family lunches or leisurely dining. Service was courteous and well-timed, adding to the overall pleasant experience. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the taste, quality, and authenticity absolutely justify it. You’re not just paying for a meal — you’re enjoying a complete culinary experience steeped in local heritage. Overall, Spice Court is one of those timeless places in Jaipur that perfectly blends royal flavors with a sophisticated dining vibe. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Rajasthani cuisine done right.

Spice court is located in Achrol House Campus in Civil Lines ares nesr Railway Station. Big Lawn in front with big Garden around is there. Food is very delicious Vegetarian, Non Vegetarian and Continental food is served. specially Non veg Lal Maas, Mutton Rogan Josh, Chicken curry and very spicy Junglee Maas is ultimate. Italian Pasta was also good. I tried Keema Bati was very soft and tasty. Beer is also served here. Price wise it was to moderate to high. Tables were well laid. Golf Sticks and old Black and white photos of Horse Polo of old Jaipur Estate were displayed. Lught yellow lights in Hall were very much soothing. Serving staff hospitality was polite and good. Wheel Chair is accessible. Parking is there in campus .

Spice Court offers a lovely ambiance with both local and continental dishes on the menu, along with a good selection of alcoholic beverages. We tried their non-veg thali, and it did not disappoint—every item was flavorful and well-prepared. The service definitely deserves a mention—the servers were attentive, always available, and made sure everything was taken care of on time. With its combination of taste, presentation, service, and atmosphere, Spice Court is definitely a must-visit in Jaipur.

Tried Spice Court Jaipur recently. Honestly, the Laal Maas was average-not as flavorful as expected. The Keema Baati was good, but again, not worth the high price. Also tried the Rajasthani Thali, and it was just okay-okay, definitely too expensive for the portion and taste. Ambience is nice, but overall, the food didn't justify the hype or the bill. Decent experience, but not something I'd repeat.

It was a lunch buffet that we went out for. The restaurant is nicely done up with comfortable seating, well spaced out with a good and supportive staff. The buffet lay out is widespread- from soup to starters to mains to desserts, everything is well made and you get to enjoy a variety of different dishes. There’s a choice of veg and non veg both well served. Desserts also included Indian and Continental style , almost 7-8 types.

Ambience was one strength of this restaurant . With a multi cuisine menu , monarch restaurant had a wide range of desserts , but failed to have an impact on me for the main course . A little over priced for the taste that they offered for my palate. The live performance was a plus point.

We visited 1135AD at the Amer Fort today and it was good. The restaurant is located on the floor above the Amber Palace ticket counters and can be accessed through a side access route. We made a booking online and reserved a seat. The menu is full of traditional North Indian food but the pricing was on the very high end of the scale. I went for the mutton dum biriyani while my wife went for vegetarian biriyani along with tandoori prawn starters. We paid INR5000+ for the dishes however felt that it's low value for money. The service was great and the location was brilliant.

My ratings says it all - excellent food and service . The staff treats you in a royal way - while entering the restaurant , service , etc
Satyam K — Google review
The location seems to be a major disappointment, and it's so unfortunate that it didn't meet our expectations because we were really looking forward to it. Driving outside the city for 30 minutes through narrow lanes which seem no less than haunted only to have a frustrating experience. The access to the place is beyond reach if you are coming for dinner. Zero lights inside or outside the fort which makes it so difficult to walk up the steep slopes.Pitch dark and super scary environment when you walk down after dinner. No proper parking with an added risk of life because of the crowd around. So much inconvenience specially when you are with small kids. Absolutely not worth it. I would rate this place as a zero because it is highly overrated hopeless and can leave you really depressed with the kind of ambience around with nothing positive to be considered for. The food is very average and too expensive and definitely not worth risking your life. No royal experience at all like they say. I would say it is below average. Serving in silverware or huge sofas doesn't define royalty. It is really far from that. Don't go by the pictures anywhere on social media. Because it's very misleading. They don't have any candlelight dinners. It is only for special events in the private hall. No wonder that area is really beautiful but i don't think you can risk your life to go up there just for a few pictures. Also, it is not even accessible for casual dinners. You can easily find better dining experiences in the city than especially coming all the way to the fort. I am thankful I came back alive after walking in the dark with two small kids thinking anybody could easily rob me or stab me. Never coming back. This place is definitely not worth a penny.

I visited this restaurant after seeing 1,000+ reviews on Google, but honestly, it’s overhyped. The taste didn’t impress me, and the food quality doesn’t justify the high prices. The pricing seems more about the location than the actual value of the food. While the service and ambiance are good, the primary focus of any restaurant should be the quality and taste of the food, which fell short here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Natraj Restaurant is one of the best places for authentic Indian food! The moment you enter, the clean and welcoming ambiance sets the tone for a great dining experience. The staff is polite, attentive, and quick with service, which makes the visit even better. I tried their Thali, and it was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The paneer dishes were especially outstanding, and the tandoori rotis were soft and hot till the end of the meal. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality they offer. The restaurant is well-maintained, family-friendly, and located in a convenient spot. Whether you’re going with friends, family, or tourists visiting the city, this place is a must-try for a proper desi food experience. ✅ Must try: Special Thali & Paneer Butter Masala 🍽️ Fresh, hygienic & tasty 💰 Great value for money 👏 Consistently good service

It's an old restaurant with its charm still intact. Located on the posh MI road and right across the famous lassi wala(must try), the place doesn't boast of a grand facade but for those who know, it is right where it has been for so many decades now. My folks wanted to relive the nostalgia of a different time in their lives. Firstly, the food was great. The service was prompt and people were courteous. For instance, a large group was there. The hosts quickly went about rearranging the tables so that the whole group could sit together. However, the guests split themselves into smaller sub groups to avoid trouble to the movement of waiters.. similarly we switched seats to move away from the AC and quickly someone cleaned the next table for us. Parking is scant or even non existent as it's the posh and busy MI road but the lanes next to it provide adequate space(some legal some encroached upon by people looking for parking 😇 of course). Inside the restaurant, there is a seating area upstairs that opens in the evening only(that's what we were told, however some VIP was taken upstairs while we were dining downstairs...anyways we didn't want to crib as the food and gr8 staff were enough for us maybe). The seating above(for Info) has cave-like interiors that give you a unique experience. The portions were not large but sufficient. The highlight of the meal was the fluffy, delicious naans...they even provided food with almost zero spice/ chilly to suit the elders and kid's pallette.

Surya Mahal, situated within The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, is a luxurious restaurant offering a serene ambiance and top-notch service for an exquisite dining experience. The menu boasts a variety of Indian and Chinese delicacies, with the renowned Laal Maas as its signature dish. This esteemed establishment also offers three distinct thalis to ensure an unforgettable visit. Vegetarians will delight in the array of veg Indian dishes and delectable desserts available.
A few days ago, I finally visited Surya Mahal in Jaipur—one of the most recommended and iconic places here. And trust me, it totally lives up to the hype! The place has a nostalgic old-school vibe, from the seating to the handwritten-style menu. It’s like stepping into a classic era of dining. We ordered the Sizzler (₹500), and it was absolutely worth it! The quality and quantity were both impressive, and the flavors were spot on. Perfectly cooked, generously served. If you’re in Jaipur and love heritage food spots with great food and vintage charm Surya Mahal is a must-visit.

A complete family restaurant. I have been here multiple times. The food was really amazing 6 years ago but now something is missing. You can try south Indian or nothing Indian food. Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Found a Cockroach in the Food! I am completely shocked and disgusted by what happened during my recent order/visit. We found a cockroach inside the food, which is not just unhygienic but downright dangerous and unacceptable. The moment we opened the dish, we were horrified to see an insect crawling in it — something that no customer should ever experience. This clearly shows a complete lack of cleanliness and quality control in the kitchen. It’s shocking that a place serving food to people can be so careless about hygiene. We were expecting a good meal, but instead we got something that made us lose our appetite and trust completely. I can’t even describe how disappointing this was — not only because of the cockroach, but also because of how carelessly the entire situation was handled. Such negligence could easily cause serious health issues. It’s not just about money; it’s about basic food safety and respect for customers. I hope this review reaches the management and they take immediate action to ensure that this never happens again — to anyone. The authorities should seriously look into their kitchen hygiene standards. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone until they fix their hygiene issues. Absolutely unacceptable and horrifying experience.

So it was a last day exam for my daughter and I decided to take her out along with my friend and daughter. So my friend decided on this place and it came out just ok. We ordered an electric blue lagoon pitcher, special cheese garlic bread, veg noodles, veg Manchurian and veg grilled sizzler along with rice. Out of all order special garlic bread which I like the most the rest of the mocktail was too sweet even after adding extra lemon syrup, Manchurian was soggy. Sizzler and noodles were just ok. So you can decide after this.

Terrible experience – got food poisoning! This place completely ruined my day. We dine out from here and ended up with severe food poisoning a few hours later. Clearly, the hygiene standards are pathetic and food safety is being completely ignored. The food did not look fine and it’s definitely not safe to eat. If you care about your health, stay far away from this restaurant. They seriously need to be inspected and held accountable for serving unsafe food.

I had a very disappointing experience at Surya Mahal Palace, Jaipur. While dining at the sizzler section, I found a cockroach in the food. This is absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that presents itself as a fine dining establishment. The staff seemed unprepared to handle the situation properly, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable meal. Hygiene and cleanliness are basic expectations in any restaurant, and this incident raises serious concerns about food safety and kitchen standards. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene practices immediately. Until then, I cannot recommend dining here.

Dal Bati Churma is a popular dish in Jaipur, known for its delicious and nutritious qualities. The cuisine in Jaipur also includes other dishes like Missi Roti and sweets such as Ghevar, Feeni, Gajak, and Chauguni ke laddu. Rajasthani cuisine is predominantly vegetarian and prepared with ghee and butter. This place offers an inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the mouth-watering Dal Bati.
An absolutely delightful gem of a place! If you're craving authentic, flavorful Dal Bati, this is where you need to be. The food is not just mouth-watering but leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds, making you want to come back for more. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfectly complementing the delicious dishes they serve. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in traditional flavors with a modern touch. A true haven for food lovers!

This is the most authentic place to have local cuisine in Rajasthan. Even though they only offer vegetarian dishes, but the flavour and the quality of the food speaks for itself. Toooooooo good.

Typical rajasthani dal bati churma. Bati is cooked under Thepla/upla. Loved the taste, ambience. Gives proper dhaba feel. Rates are also very reasonable. Kadi, lehsun chutney, mirchi tapora and churma I loved. Dal could have been little improved.
Prateek T — Google review
We found the food not good slightly unpalatable too. Dal had some weird taste and was bad. Gatta curry was made with tomatoes which is a big no no for authentic Rajasthani gatta sabzi. Kadhi was okayish and churma too was not that good. Only thing which was a highlight was bati as they were cooked in jagra and were both soft and tasty. Apart from that, whole thali was very average. I am sure, we will not be returning here.

1st time I like the Dal, Bati churma. The Bati was well cooked but soft and in desi ghee. Dal was spicy and churma was perfect sweet. Overall experience was great.

Nestled in the heart of Jaipur on the lively MI Road, Niros Restaurant has been a beloved culinary destination since its inception in 1949. This charming eatery is renowned for being one of the first places to introduce Chinese cuisine to the city back in the 1960s. With nearly seven decades of history, Niros boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere complemented by classic decor and attentive service.
Ordered Lal maas which was very very good Ordered chicken lababdar which was succulent and good Ordered few more veg dishes All in all a place to visit if you are in Jaipur..loved the ambience of the restaurant and food taste was very nice. Will definitely recommend

It’s totally overpriced and doesn’t worth it. Food wasn’t delicious at all, especially butter chicken- it was like tomato chicken. Staff was so sad and not very friendly. And absolutely drunk guests on next table really really scared me. And yes, prices are very high.

This is what we have ordered from Zomato and I am extremely sorry to say this is the worst place to have Lal Maas and Dal Makhni rotis Were so Hard that we could not even eat if you want to fall sick, then go to this restaurant and order from there. It is over hyped restaurant with such an expensive food. It is a scam. Don’t go in this restaurant. Don’t order it from Zomato ever worst, worst food, I have ever had in my life
Chirag V — Google review
We visited Niros first time. We ordered Rajasthani Sula, Lal Maas and Tandori. Really, Rajasthani Sula is not very soft just 9 tandoor boonless mutton pieces. Some pieces were not properly cooked. In the case of Laal Mass, we didn’t get authentic taste. Previously, we ate laal maas multiple times. But, this taste was not authentic (I may be wrong). Tandoori was good but not as good they charged. Price is too expensibe than proportion. Mutton was not best quality. I cannot find there anything special.

Pretty good place. Serving was top notch. Very professional. Ordered Laal Maas, Punjabi paneer tikka, Mutton seekh kebab. The curry was typically Niros. Won't say, awesome but definitely better than the most I've had. My fav still remains at Udaipur 1559 AD Cafe. Paneer n Seekh were fresh marinated n rightly spiced.

We went to this place because someone suggested us their pasta, when we reached there it was all empty and all enclosed space, no ventilation at all. The service was disappointing. The waiter seemed quite dismissive while taking our order, almost as if judging us for trying pasta for the first time. He spoke with a hint of arrogance while explaining that it was “authentic pasta,” and honestly, even the presentation wasn’t appealing. We ordered Arrabbiata pasta and honestly we have had a lot of pasta in Delhi and that too from authentic places we know how authentic pasta is. Their pasta was just filled with black pepper. And overall it was for ₹800 for one small bowl of pasta having quantity for just one person i believe. It was definitely not worth it.

I was made to wait for 25 minutes, I was with my family , a kid 5 years old and an infant. Ordered pastry for my daughter which came after 55 minutes saying that it’s freshly baked , she slept waiting for it. Food was just ordinary nothing outstanding. A bottle of beer took 10 minutes to deliver on my table . Never expected this hospitality from such a place . Seats were really uncomfortable.

The Rambagh Palace is truly the "Jewel of Jaipur," a historical treasure that every Jaipurite is rightly proud of, and the Jaipur Rajput Room lives up to that magnificent legacy. This dining experience is the epitome of elegance. From the moment you step in, the décor, the lighting, and the subtle, attentive service transport you straight into a regal era. It is refinement personified. The menu (especially the Indian selections) is superb, but it's the sheer beauty of the room that makes every occasion here feel special and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly royal experience in the Pink City. Its one its kind experience

Awesome experience, no doubt about that. It really was a beautiful restaurant with on-point food taste. We ordered noodles, steamed rice and rajma, rose drink(after taste of this drink was outstanding). Their speciality is Ginger ale but since we are not very fond of ginger so we order this rose drink which was a suggestion by Mr. Yogendra. Mr. Yogendra was very polite and helped us in choosing the right food based on our taste and best sellers of thw restaurant. He even offered us a complementary Rose icecream which was made from fresh roses and it was impeccable. We even met the chef Mr. Abhishek who made us such an outstanding and comforting food. Mr. Abhishek told us his secret that apart for innovating dishes he keeps the originality of majority of the well known indian dishes like "Rajma-Chawal". Once again, special thanks to Mr. Yogendra and Mr. Abhishek for making our day with best in class food and best in class services. Cheer !

We were a group of 15 people which was well entertained by the staff. They gave us a whole section in the restaurant. The servers were very friendly and had amazing suggestions for us. The food was really good, especially the meat (lal maas) was so tender that it dissolves in your mouth. They brought us a wedding cake in the end which was amazing.

Divine is the only word that comes to my mind when I try to describe The Rajput Room. Handi restaurant in Jaipur is a legendary spot known for its Mughlai cuisine, particularly the famous laal maas. This rustic yet elegant eatery is a favorite among both locals and international travelers, offering mouth-watering Rajasthani and North Indian dishes. The menu features specialties like laal maas, a spicy mutton curry cooked in yogurt and traditional Rajasthani spices, best enjoyed with handkerchief-thin Roomali Rotis. Situated on the bustling M.
First time, I visited this restaurant. Ordered Junglee Mass, Laal Mass, Rumali and Drinks(Both). Junglee Mass is just excellent, quality of mutton is so good. Rumali Rooti is good but not very soft. Laal Maas is good at taste as usual. But little bit spicy. Service is also good.
SAIKAT M — Google review
We tried this place because of the recommended hype but couldn't relate to the hype. The ambience was good.. calm and soft. But the food is average and cost on higher side. We have tried even better taste at a much affordable rates than they offer. Tried their laal maas, garlic naan and chicken tikka. Laal maas is just average, the portion was not good. The meat was all boney and less meat. A restaurant shouldn't offer such meat pieces in any order. The menu said it comes with 4 pieces but in reality it was 2 good pieces only. ( Quite a scam) Garlic naan was good. Chicken tikkas were below average. Have tasted better chicken tikka. Also tried their mint mojito which was worst. Can't really get how a mint mojito can taste so bad. Too much sour in taste.
Supriya G — Google review
We visited Handi recently and tried a few dishes. The Jungli Chicken was quite good and definitely the highlight of our meal. The Galouti Kebab and Handi Chicken were just average and didn’t really stand out. Service was also okay, nothing exceptional but nothing too disappointing either. Overall, it was a decent experience but not something that left a strong impression.

Handi Restaurant on MI Road, Jaipur, is a paradise for non-veg lovers and a name synonymous with authentic Rajasthani flavors. Famous for its rich and fiery Laal Maas, the food here is full of taste, aroma, and tradition. With both indoor and rooftop seating, the ambiance perfectly complements the culinary experience. The restaurant tends to get crowded after 8 pm, especially on weekends, so expect a wait. But the flavorful curries, succulent kebabs, and overall dining experience make it absolutely worth the hype—a true gem for food enthusiasts in Jaipur.
Arnav D — Google review
One of the Best Places for Lal Maas in Jaipur If you love authentic Rajasthani flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. Their Lal Maas is probably the best you’ll find in Jaipur, fiery, bold, and packed with flavour. It’s extremely spicy, so definitely not for the faint-hearted, but absolutely worth it if you enjoy heat. Pairing it with tandoori roti made it even better. The restaurant is always bustling, yet the service is impressively quick. I also tried the chicken biryani, which was just okay, but the kulfi at the end was refreshing and delicious. Overall, a great spot for those who want to experience authentic Rajasthani spice at its finest!

I opted this place for my dinner 🍽️ as per google reviews but it was bad option for me.. Firstly the manager was too rude wid us and the waiter too. The overhyped and most rated dish of this restaurant Laal Maas was tooo spicy 🥵 for us..so if ur not a spicy lover ..plz dont opt for it. The junglee chicken was the yum..Highly recommended. The atmosphere n vibe is good. Washroom are hygiene.
Satish K — Google review
Revered for its fame, it stands true to its name. With customers coming here for the laal maans that it offers, the preparation is "rajasthani spicy" and u should pair it up with bajre ka roti. The ambience here can have some work, mostly looks like a family restaurant. While here i also tried the kulfi and it really hit the spot. Overall, a must visit for those wanting to try the Laal Maans and a proper meal.
Indronil S — Google review
Laal Maas tested for first time . Many references received for Handi for Non Veg in Jaipur. People told it’s very spicy 🌶️, However I didn’t find it as spicy as people advocated. May be it’s also depends on person to person . Food taste was good as I ate Laal Maas only along with Baajre ki Roti . Service was prompt and all staff are very polite and humble. Atmosphere was electrifying and many families were enjoying their meal .

Visited Jaipur for a family staycation and it was our first time with ITC. It was definitely a great experience with an extra ordinary service staff and food quality. The services were top notch with some great options in the restaurant. We tried their paneer Tikka, mac and cheese pasta, kadhai paneer platter. For dessert we had kulfi faluda and chocolate fantasy. Everything we ordered was beyond our expectations with exceptional taste and presentation. Can't wait to be back.

Quick facts: - It is located inside ITC Rajputana. - Table booking option available. - You are free to roam around the property as well. Absolutely love the decor and the ambience of this place. It is a restaurant situated inside ITC Rajputana, Jaipur. We had reserved a table beforehand but that hardly mattered considering the fact that it was mostly vacant. On arrival there was no host available to guide us to a table let alone receive our order. We went inside and approached the only staff member visible, he had no clue about our reservation and couldn’t confirm the same. We were quickly seated but it took a while before anyone was available to take our order, after half an hour we were informed that our order wasn’t placed at all due to some error on the staff’s end and we will have to reorder and wait for another half an hour. The only upside about their food was their quantity. What we had- • Grilled chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy- This was hands down the best grilled chicken we’ve ever had! • Italian smooch mocktail : It wasn’t that great. • Murgh Biryani: The quantity was great but we weren’t informed about it, considering that usually the same is done and one can order accordingly. Ofcourse we weren’t able to finish it and it didn’t taste good at all. • Cappuccino: It was alright. At the time of payment, the staff members made some error as the billing was done wrongly. All in all, we wouldn’t suggest that you visit this restaurant. It is expensive and not worth the service we received and honestly the food is also not that good.

Four Seasons is a landmark restaurant, situated in the heart of Jaipur. One of the old and famous names in the family restaurants of Jaipur. The ambiance gives an old but cozy diner vibe. Mostly preferred by office crowds and families for food. The dinner tables are small and if you order more than 2-3 dishes, the space runs out even to put a spoon on the table. Food is average and a tad pricier than counterparts in the area. Service is good and staff is courteous.

Sri Moturam Prasadam in Jaipur offers a delightful vegetarian dining experience, showcasing a variety of thali options that celebrate the richness of vegetarian cuisine. The absence of meat is complemented by the artful combination of spices and fresh ingredients, creating a symphony of flavors. The restaurant's focus on food as Prasadam reflects their respect towards culinary offerings. While some find it overrated, others appreciate the good food quality and quantity served at reasonable prices.
The experience was great at this place as we got some references from local people. The food is really awesome with attractive presentations. The food spice level is mild, which is great for people like me. The service was really quick. The staff was professional and friendly. They serve the food in dry leaf utensils, which moves you into the old world. The restaurant is fully vegetarian with no onion garlic option. We tried Dal Batti Bhog, Shri Nanak Bhog (Punjabi Thali) and Hajma Hajam Drink. This was just not our dinner, it was experience.

Amazing experience! Very very delicious food and quick service. Great ambience! The decor was ethnic. More than perfect for a family outing. The best part was the owner was constantly moving around tables and taking regular feedback from all the customers. Also, you can visit multiple times as the menu is very extensive, and caters to a diverse palate. Furthermore, they serve in bio-degradable dry leaf utensils - donas and pattals - transporting you to the old world charm sans the harmful plastic and thermocol used even in high end restaurants.

In May 2025, we visited many times, but the taste has deteriorated compared to the past. Will not recommend South Indian thali at all. Puris in Prasadam 6 and Bikaneri Thali are soft and tasty. Owner / Staff (Talking, Behaviour, Helpful, Honesty) - 5/5* Cleaning and Hygiene are up to the mark (4/5*) Service 5/5* Behaviour 5/5* Taste 4/5* except for Sri Venkateshwara Bhog (2/5*) (In past it was really tasty and worth visiting ) Parking roadside GPS location 📍 is correct and one can follow the map blindly to reach here. Two years ago, it was really good and tasty food. We tried four different regional thalis here, and all were tasty. Worth visiting a place with value for money. No separate parking and have to park your vehicle roadside. You may need to wait for a table as the available space is smaller. A hygienic place with well-mannered staff.

A must-visit eatery in Jaipur for rabdi and roti, this is one of the oldest and most famous places to enjoy rabdi. Be sure to go to the right one, as several shops share the same name. The correct spot is the first shop on the left side of the road when coming from Chandpole Bazar.

We tried their bejaad ki roti with aalo pyaaz paneer ki sabzi, with garlic chutney & mirchi ke tipore. The sabzi was tasty, the roti was topped with some makhan. Best for brunch as 1 roti is enough to fill your tummy. Rabdi was average. They have different options in thali, where they add one/two items for the next thali. We took normal thali (roti & sabzi) & special thali (normal thali + garlic chutney+ mirchi tipore). The shops are just at the entry of the lane. There are a total 3 shops of them.

The aloo pyaz, rabri, and bejda ki roti were quite tasty and authentic. However, I noticed insects in the food and on the tables, which was disappointing. Also, the dishes were a bit too oily for my liking. If they improve cleanliness and reduce oiliness, this place could be much better. For now, I'd enjoy the food but with caution

After reading all the mixed reviews decided to visit myself and taste it ..food was not that bad as some people have mentioned if you want to have masala curry you can try their thali I suggest to visit the last shop of their branch at the end and thali there starts from 120
Tushar S — Google review
Food - कूड़ा is the closest word I could think of after eating here. Half cooked tikkad, tasteless sabzi and chutney, fake paneer and weird masala taste which kept every member of our family feel vomiting after just an hour, although we just ate half roti per person. The oil used in sabzi looked like some chemical only. Very bad taste and food quality. Didn't expect this from a reputed shop in Jaipur. Service - What to say, there was no response from waiter initially, even he forgot the order we have and didn't serve half of the items until we ate half of our food and asked for menu again to recheck the items we ordered. Pathetic. Atmosphere - Owner has 3 shops, 2 adjoining and 1 in front. But only one small one is used for dine-in, that too is ages old with no proper ambience. Napkins and plates are stocked in the almirahs above the seatings, and it's just not good when you enter there. Less hygienic. And forget parking, you have to park on chhoti chaupad circle in your own risk. Overall I won't recommend this place to anyone as it is unnecessarily hyped due to some paid social media influencers. Much better tikkad thali we get in Alwar.
Ashwin S — Google review
The food is simply awesome. If I had to pick, I would have just the bejad ki roti and aaloo pyaaz ki sabzi. And on the sweet side, malpua with rabri is other worldly.
Ayush S — Google review
Decent food, but terrible service/ packing errors! The biggest issue was their rush: they missed packing our Kadhi entirely and misplaced the Rabri on our takeaway order. This huge mistake was highly disappointing and ruined the meal experience. As for the food: the Bejad ki Roti and Lehsun Chutney are good and worth trying. However, the rest of the items (Aloo Pyaj Sabji and Gatte ki Sabji) were average in taste and quite oily. It was definitely not worth the high expectations or the hype. The Maalpuaa was good, which was a welcome finish. Only visit if you're prepared for potential order mix-ups.
Rahul C — Google review
A delicious treat for the foodie one. I tried their bejad roti special thali and it came with aloo pyaz paneer ki sbji , lahsun chutney, mirchi and boondi chhas. For dessert I ordered Rabdi and it was super tasty. This place offers an authentic taste of Rajsthan. Special mention: they don't refill anything. For extra sabji chutney mirchi you'll have to pay.

When you find yourself in Jaipur, a visit to Laal Maas Restaurant is an absolute must for any non-vegetarian food lover. This establishment serves the iconic Laal Maas, a traditional Rajasthani mutton curry that boasts a vibrant red hue thanks to its generous use of red chilies. The dish is rich and spicy, featuring tender pieces of lamb simmered slowly in a luscious gravy made from yogurt and aromatic spices like garlic and nuts.
We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and it was so awesome and Worth every penny. The LAL MAAS was soo good, the flavour and the aroma
Suhail S — Google review
We visited this place today to try out their Laal Maas dish and we were certainly not disappointed! The place upheld its name. We had ordered their special Rajasthani Laal Maas paired with Tawa Roti and Bajra Roti. The taste was good, but some portions of the meat had a raw flavour, although the meat was tender and completely cooked. Overall a nice experience with the food. Service was good as our group was the only customer at that time. Do try their Bajra roti as well. It pairs nicely with Laal Maas too.

Parasite alert Not a hygienic place to eat, my wife and i went here to try local Rajasthani thali after reading reviews on map, when we ordered thali we were stoic about the quantity of food and thought that taste was also going to be good. As we are eating the food, the water they have served us had worms swimming in it. Not just one worm there were many little parasite like things. After that we lost appetite. Thank god only my wife drank that water. After that we straight went up to the chemist and asked for medicine. Even the food here is not that good also. We tried daal baati churma in udaipur and it was way more tasty. I thought of trying lal maas here but this event shook me to the bones. If they are not taking care of even water then you can think how hygienic practices they are going to follow while cooking the food. Avoid this restaurant at all cost.

The presentation of the food is good. The behaviour of the waiter was excellent. The taste of the food was good though not the best which i was expecting as the hotel is name it self is laal maas. The thing can be improved for the food they could use less food color. Regarding the restaurant one more thing can be improved,is, they could put a hand wash out side the toilet. Overall i like the place🙂
J P — Google review
Food was 100% authentic, delicious and safe. Had laal maas and thali. If you would like to eat the authentic laal maas which is cooked without any turmeric or spices then you must call the restaurant and ask them to prepare it. It is totally worth it. You must call and try the authentic laal maas. Their kitchen was super clean just like their sitting area. Loved their thali as well. Parathas were light and full of flavour. This place is a must if you want to taste authentic Rajasthani food.

I ordered their famous Lal Mass for 500-600 rupees, but it turned out to be very oily and the taste was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for a family outing.
Prasoon A — Google review
The food I tasted here was not so flavourful. They need to improve tremendously on Lal Mass in Laal Maas! I spent almost 1000/- bucks, at this price point the dish didn’t do much justice.

Kitchen Zayka is a popular restaurant in the heart of Pink City, known for its authentic Rajasthani Non-Vegetarian and Vegetarian Cuisine. The friendly ambiance and delicious kebabs make it a must-visit dining spot. The owner's architectural background is reflected in the creative design of the restaurant, located near MGF Mall.
Amazing food Awesome ambience perfect service. What more can you expect from a dining place. The owner being an architect has creatively made the restaurant not less than art. Kitchen Zayka is sharing wall with MGF Mall. I am sure once the place gets a bit older people will run after this place. They having many unique items. Their speciality being non veg. I recommend to have Lal Ghost. Lal Ghost is most spiciest item and they have Khada Ghost for soft tongues. I have been to nearly every part of India but this preparation was fabulous , your taste buds will thank you for visiting this place.

Visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon with friends, and found the place comfortable and homely. The service is courteous and prompt. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were prepared with equal care and finesse. The Dal Fry would be my recommendation. The place's USP is the authentic mutton preparations, and their Khada Masala Gosht is simply delectable! The balance of flavour and spice is so nuanced, it was almost I was eating at someone's home, and not in a commercial establishment. Add to that the very rare offering of regular chapattis on the menu! Would definitely visit a second time around, and perhaps a third too!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You're into authentic indian food? You found the right place! This is a real insider tip. Hidden in a corner next to blue beds hostel we found this quiet and lovely furnished café with very friendly staff and the best Masala Chai we had in whole Rajasthan (we became quite addicted to it😅). They serve exclusively indian dishes with the spicy flavour we all expect when we think about indian food. No dish is precooked, every one is freshly made just like the indian bread and the Chai Tee. Therefor it is worth admiring that there is a waiting time just about 15min till the dishes are served. We are three vegetarians so we can only speak for the vegetarian meals but since we tasted every (!) vegetarian meal on the menu and found out that every one is as great as the other ones we're sure the non-vegetarian meals are great as well. If you're into souvenirs have a quick look into the giftshop next door as well. The owner collects unique goods for the shop on his own journeys. We give 5 out of 5 stars and we're definetly looking forward to come back👍

Great food and great ambiance. If you are staying at the bluebeds upstairs (another top notch hostel), come down on your first couple days before you get used to indian food. You wont be disappointed. I ended up going here 6 times during my stay. Highly recommended.

RJ 14 is a top-notch vegetarian restaurant in Jaipur, offering a delightful experience for Indian cuisine enthusiasts. The charming interiors of this quaint eatery are truly captivating and perfect for capturing some stunning photographs. While the food is generally good, there have been some mixed reviews about specific dishes. It's advisable to make reservations in advance, especially on weekends due to its popularity. Overall, visitors praise the food taste, service quality, and staff behavior but suggest improving the lighting for better photo opportunities.
The Restaurant is located in shyam nagar on ajmer road. Location is good. Valet parking make things easier. Restaurant has indoor out door sitting . There are many large ac halls and open space with spray cooling arrangements . Staff is always there to guide guests. I went there with family with prior booking which made things more easy for us . Restaurant is veg only. Starter and mains courses have a wide range of options. The taste is very desi . Which makes the overall experience great. Nice for family gatherings. Service was fast. The staff is cooperative.

Specially Paneer dish,Daal Tadka, Mixed Vegetable, Gobi Aloo and Bhindi was good. 4 - 5 Breads options is there. Service is prompt. Inside layout snd ambience is good. Inside Hall as wel as outside sitting is also there. On weekends reservation is highly recommend. Price wise it is moderate. Waiting is also big. Overall it was a good experience.

Excellent place and great service. Food was really good. Were always served hot rotis. Servers were very friendly and cooperative. Had to reduce two stars as the staff begged for tips and mentioned that they dont have any service charges "hence please tip". That was a downer for the night. We would have tipped anyways but then paid bare minimum tip and left. I hope these guys are trained and paid well. Begging for tips makes the whole experience bad.

Good place for enjoying food with family and friends. The ambience is very good and you can enjoy the dining experience in various ways. You can enjoy sitting in the hall, outside, etc. The food quality is very good. Service is also very good. You have to wait on the weekend for a table as it gets crowded. Overall great Vibes to have fun with family and friends. They are using copper cutlery and dishes which is a good thing.
Devendra J — Google review
I had visited first time today on 14 august 2025. I had very bad experience after visited them after hearing from peoples around me for RJ 14 , but it's highly overhyped and highly priced for what they have. I even don't know how the rating is 4.2 , they are deliberately covering the high ratings by fake ratings , which I come to know after cross checking the reviews and ratings by filtering on last 4 weeks ratings , there are 100 + ratings with 5 stars which is clearly identifying as fake. Be very aware with this unethical runn of the restaurant and don't visit them. Disgusting First of all , the menu on the tables are dusty and sticky when you hand on them , no cleanliness being followed , outside tables are dusty , which needs to be upkeep if you are having open air dine in sitting. The chairs upholstery tearing , their sofa is not washed and founded dirty. Now , for the food also, their quality of material used is cheap , no rich taste in gravies and ingredients and even tastes like food must be stocked in quantities to serve more peoples. Very very worst. Even rotis are getting dry in 3-4 minutes , this only happens when the dough is not kneaded properly and bulk and cheap work is done while making food. For the staff service side also, their is one manager for 4-5 tables, who is the one which is knowledgeable and ther service staff are not adequately knowledgeable and don't know to serve food, even they don't serve you food , they just keep putting on table and goes away like a local dhaaba which cost 300-450 for 2 persons unlike them 1000 ₹ for 2 persons which is just like 100% more costly for the same low quality staff, low quality food and even the tables chairs , and cleanliness. Do not visit them , not a single reason for RJ14 , I had visited Tansukh by Kanha many times , and it was for first time visiting RJ 14 , I assure you that Kanha is 10 Times more better in all for the same 1000₹ for 2 persons dine in.

Kanha Restaurant Jaipur is a famous north Indian restaurant specialising in various kinds of cuisine like snacks, chaat, street food and fine dining. They have outlets all over the city and serve sumptuous meals that are sure to please even the most finicky guest. The sweets here are also worth trying as they always come up with something new and innovative.
As a foreigner visiting from the States, I have never felt so welcomed to a establishment in Jaipur such as Kanha, we were introduced to the delectable sweets on the ground floor, while the usher by the stairway directed us to the second floor. The 2nd floor was the dining area where you order at the counter and hand your receipt to the kitchen island. For someone who really cares about hygenics, this place was spotless. The kitchen was well kempt, while the cooks wore hair caps and gloves, emphasizing serious commitment to clean food. The food was just stellar. I've had north Indian food on occasion but this place seems to do everything exceptionally. The chole bhature was spicy and melted in your mouth! The bhelpure was nice and crunchy. The star of the show was of course, the Raj Kachori which looked and tasted fantastic! We then finished off with some mango ras mali and that was also exceptional. I'm definitely going to come back here again! I would highly recommend this establishment. They also take card which is great for tourists like me who want to save this cash for other needs.

Food - I ordered two items: Amritsari Kulcha with Chole, Lassi, and Chole Bhature. The table was clean, with proper seating arrangements and lighting. The price is a bit high, but Kanha is Kanha -- there's no compromise on the taste and hygiene. The oil wasn't too much in the Kulcha and Bhature, which I liked the most. Everything was balanced. FYI, Breakfast items are only available from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, not all day. I am adding the menu here in case someone wants to see it. I know it will be available online, but I'm just adding it here for convenience. Parking - I went there in the evening, so there was proper space for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.

First of all, this place is extremely overpriced. You can see the attached bill for reference. The quantity of food served is very less considering the high prices. Secondly, we had a very disappointing experience when we were charged ₹160 for onions and pickle — items that are usually provided complimentary at most restaurants and even local dhabas. When we questioned this, the staff member attending to us was extremely rude and uncooperative. I asked him why we weren’t informed beforehand if these items were chargeable, but instead of clarifying, he responded rudely. Thankfully, the owner stepped in later and was quite cooperative. He understood our concern and helped us by removing the charge from the bill.

Tan Sukh is a charming café and restaurant located in Jaipur, offering an impressive array of both Indian and international cuisines. The menu features mouthwatering dishes like the Tan Sukh Special Sizzler and Pasta Alfredo, which are expertly crafted with a perfect blend of ingredients. Diners rave about the Cream of Tomato Soup and refreshing Garden Green Mojito, all served with delightful presentation that enhances the dining experience.
Tan Sukh Restaurant in Jaipur was a delightful dining experience! We visited with family and ordered a mix of Indian and international dishes – Paneer Paratha, Pasta Cannelloni, and an Indo-Chinese Fried Rice and Manchurian meal. Every dish exceeded our expectations in terms of both taste and presentation. The Paneer Paratha was soft, well-stuffed, and full of flavor – satisfying and freshly made. The Pasta Cannelloni was creamy, perfectly baked, and had a rich filling – a pleasant surprise to find such a good Italian dish in Jaipur. The Fried Rice and Manchurian meal was equally impressive – the rice was flavorful and well-cooked, and the Manchurian balls were crispy on the outside, soft inside, and coated in a delicious tangy sauce. The ambience of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with tasteful interiors and a relaxed vibe, ideal for both families and small groups. The service was prompt, polite, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The indoors are well maintained and clean by well trained and polite staff. The atmosphere is really relaxing and calm with music playing at a low volume adding to the delicious dinner. Tan Sukh Special Sizzler, Pasta Alfredo and Fresh Garden Green Mojito are highly recommended. Overall, an amazing experience and would love to come back again.

A place to visit with family and friends... superb staff .... rajasthani food can be enjoyed along with many other choices of dishes... safe place in COVID times ... should visit... superb place

This place is for all those people who want to experience authentic Rajasthan food. They have a fixed menu as per the season, which is served unlimited as per your appetite. Since it's winters we had bajra Rabdi in chach as welcome drink, which was awesome. Then besides the usual Dal bhatti churma, gatte ki Sabzi, winter special was khichda, which was again too good followed by crispy jalebis. If you really want to fiesta and siesta head to shri thal.

I went there with friends and did like the taste of the food. All three of us liked most of the dishes in Thali. Being a Rajashthani myself, I know the taste of all stuff they offer. Ambience is good and the staff is good too. It's a good place to have local food and experience local culture. ~ HighwayMonks

If you're on the hunt for authentic Rajasthani cuisine, look no further than Pawana Rajasthani Vyanjan in Jaipur. This vibrant eatery is a must-visit for street food enthusiasts, offering a delightful Rajasthani Thali that showcases local delicacies. One of the highlights here is the beloved Dal Bati Churma, which you simply cannot miss! The masala churma adds an extra layer of flavor that elevates this traditional dish to new heights.
Most affordable and tasty food in Jaipur to have Staff was very polite and they were cooking live to ensure hygiene. Prices were also good in comparison to the spaces outside

The Dal Batti churma is really good espically there masala churma the quality too is very decent the timings seem to be incorrect the dal batti was available after 1 pm

Worst food ever. I am highly disappointed, i bet this is not authentic rajasthani food. Do not know on what basis this people gave ratings. The shop owner was a ignorant and rude with zero hospitality.

Dal Bati Churma plate is really good. Everything was tasty, especially Bati and Rose Churma. Located inside the Masala Chowk, this place is serving authentic Rajasthani food. There are two types of plates, one without Gatte ki Sabzi and Another with Gatte ki Sabzi and additional Churmas option. Must try if you’re visiting Masala Chowk and looking for authentic Rajasthani Food.

Did not like dal bati churma. They give only one very little bowl of Dal for 3 batis out of which 1 tasted very weird (apparently it was their best bati). They charge 30rs. for extra dal which is also of the same small size.

Dambi Balaji Malpua is a delectable Rajasthani dessert that resembles fluffy pancakes soaked in sugar syrup. The light texture of the maida-based batter perfectly complements the infusion of sweetness from the syrup. Topped with fragrant cardamom and crunchy pistachios, this sweet treat embodies the elegance and rich flavors of Rajasthan.

Fine dining restaurant
Mohan Mahal is a captivating dining destination that promises an unforgettable experience, nestled within the luxurious ambiance of The Leela boutique property. This restaurant stands out with its stunning interiors inspired by the Sheesh Mahal, featuring walls adorned with 350,000 pieces of intricately cut glass and exquisite Thikri work. The soft, warm lighting creates an enchanting atmosphere enhanced by candlelight and delicate fairy lights.
We booked this place after being totally drawn in by the stunning decor and cool dining concept—it just looked like a vibe. But on the way there, we started reading a bunch of bad reviews and honestly got a bit nervous. Still, we figured we’d give it a shot… and thank goodness we did. Right from the get-go, the staff were very welcoming. We got seated quickly, offered water options, handed the menu, and they even walked us through how the whole dining experience would go and our dietary preferences. That already calmed our nerves a bit. Service was on point the entire time. The servers kept checking in just enough to make sure we were comfortable without hovering. First up was an appetiser—our waiter explained every ingredient, and it was delicious! Every course that followed came with a little introduction and how to eat it properly, which we thought was a nice touch. During the main course, the chef even came out to check in personally—love that! We were stuffed before the main course was even done, and they even asked if we wanted to repeat any dishes! Some reviews were accurate about the taxes and service charges though, do make sure to account for that. It ended up being around 1500 rupees more per pax. All in all, the dining experience was nothing short of amazing. We felt truly looked after, and every element—from the service to the food—was thoughtfully curated. While I’m not dismissing the concerns raised in other reviews, I can only speak from our own experience, and it was a wonderful one. It’s clear that the team here is putting in the effort to change perceptions, and in our case, they absolutely succeeded.

I booked a table in advance through zomato and specifically mentioned we have infant with us but they still accepted our booking. It was a special occasion they denied us entry. They have not mentioned this policy anywhere. The staff of luxury hotel have no etiquette to handle a grievance. Rude behaviour and not sensitive to Indian culture and manners but well trained in western etiquette to not respect others. Although manager was able to handle situation well and offered us table at their different restaurant that we denied politely.
Gautam B — Google review
The food was inedible - we pointed this out to manoj who we were told was the restaurant manger. We told him that we aren’t looking for a discount or for him to remove any items from the menu - just wanted him to know the food was terrible (for the lack of a more polite way to put it ) …
Saimohan P — Google review
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a fine dining restaurant. Food was at best below-average. Reheated kebabs and appetizers, servers not knowing what they are serving, just confusion in the air at the time of serving. Add to that the lack of knowledge about the menus. Lacking the ability to recommend food items. A lack of professionalism - the ‘chalta hai attitude’. Forgetting to get water, dining cloth, napkins. The meals were not paced correctly either. I believe the staff that day was inexperienced or just interns. And in the end, they tried to charge us for 4 bottled waters when we had 1. How bad can you be at doing your jobs? I bet the theme extends right up to the next level management. I feel stupid to have spent just shy of 10k per person here. We had such high expectations. Wish the food and service were as good as the decor. It was a celebratory dinner for me, my fiancé and our families but turned out to be a frustrating experience. Hope the management reads this and sets things right. Never returning and will make sure none of my friends and relatives end up wasting their money here.
Sujay D — Google review
The worst experience of our life! I travelled so much all around the world yet such pathetic food in a 5 star is what I experienced for the first time. My entire family was down with food poisoning. We were the only table in the entire hall that was there rest the entire hall was empty. Yet such bad bad servicing and hospitality. Shame on Leela palace and i will never recommend going here to anyone.
Namita S — Google review
For the amount we spent, we had a very very poor experience. The food was pathetic...cold, tasteless, reheated....but served on a silver plate.. Service was poor...by inexperienced staff. When fine dining, the ambience and decor only adds to a good experience, the Food matters the most....and if that is bad....nothing else matters. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
