I had the good fortune of visiting this lovely pottery studio and shop on my visit to Jaipur. From the moment one steps foot in the premises one can feel the history of blue pottery seeping in. I was honoured to be in the workshop of the great late Sri Kripal Singh Shekhawat which is now run by his daughters both of whom showed me around the workshop and the shop with such warmth and generosity of knowledge. The pieces in itself were exquisite and reasonably priced. I was in awe of the talent and precision it takes to churn out a single piece. It was the highlight of my trip to have chanced upon this studio and will definitely be visiting again and ordering more pieces from here very soon. I would like to thank Himani Rathore and her husband for kindly catering to us on our visit.

Beautiful pottery, handmade by the family of the father of blue pottery try. The store is run by his daughter who is extremely kind and knowledgeable. She showed me the workshop and some of the pieces in progress when I visited on my last day in Jaipur. Definitely worth a stop If you are here.

It is such a peaceful place, with so much positive energy. Run by three sisters, that remind me of my own. They showed me around and took me through each step of the process and I was amazed by the intricacies of the art of blue pottery. If you’re in Jaipur, you should visit! Their art is so stunning!!!

I am so happy after visiting Kripal Kumbh House of Blue Pottery because this place is the place where, it all started. This place carries history and legacy in itself. Getting a chance to meet the daughters of Kripal Sir, and having such an amazing interaction with them made my day. They both are amazing, from explaining every small detail regarding blue pottery to have such an amazing conversation regarding history of Jaipur. After meeting both of them, I want to spend more and more time to learn this artform in their workshop. As I promised her, I will go back there and learn this artform in my next trip to Jaipur.

Katla Purohit Ji Ka is a bustling, vibrant wholesale hub in Jaipur’s old city. You’ll find stunning lehengas, sarees, jewelry, and more at great prices. The narrow, crowded lanes can feel chaotic but add to the charm. A must‑visit for wedding shopping—but bring patience! 

Lanes are very narrow, and because of that it becomes very congested and difficult to walk. Almost 40-50% shopkeepers are rude and one even said that we won't be able to show the saree for the next 1 hour and he was just sitting there doing nothing. There is no cleanliness in the lanes. Some people bring their two wheelers which creates more traffic.

The most fabulous gems and archival pieces that could be in a museum but they let you try on! I had been admiring Dhora’s Instagram page for over a year and finally decided to place an order, expecting beautiful craftsmanship and a smooth experience. What a mistake that turned out to be. After almost two weeks of waiting, multiple emails, and endless frustration, my order finally arrived — only for me to find that the bangle was flimsy, with mini pearls already falling off, and the choker missing red stones on the very first day of receiving it. To make matters worse, the team even sent me another customer’s tracking ID before correcting it an hour later — a clear sign of how chaotic and careless their service is. I paid SGD 238 including shipping and expected quality that matched Dhora’s luxury image, but instead received poorly finished, damaged jewelry. This entire experience has been beyond disappointing. Don't be fooled by the brand's IG page. As aspirational as the IG page is the real life experience is for the lack of a better word shitty. I don't even think they deserve 1 star but hey that's the lowest on Google reviews. I will never shop with Dhora again and will be discouraging others from doing so as well.

Game Zone is nice. Nearly all games are not so good as their ticket prices except Bowling. First we need to purchase card as per suitable plan than we can play any game with them until recharge is over. In bowling, each person get 10 round to play and each round has two throw.

Cute place to visit every time you are in Jaipur. Right in middle of a buzzing market. Be it day or night 🌙 there is always something to look forward to. In the night you can't get entry in to the Hawa Mahal but you can have a great view of the facade. It will be lit for stunning visual. I visited here after few years. Now it is slightly renovated with fresh paint and tinted glasses. Tip for photographers : Carry a wide angle lens to frame the monument, as the street is narrow to get a full view. Or turn the wide angle lens in your phone.

After a tiring shopping spree at Man Upasana, we thought of grabbing a quick bite somewhere and that's when we came across the cozy , quaint Anokhi cafe in Civil Lines.. just above Crossword... on the 2nd floor... As we walked in ..I was pleasantly surprised by the classic British vibes I carried ...tired and hungry as we were, we ordered the mascarpone cheesecake, cornfritters, pizzette and black coffee... The smooth and crumbly cheesecake was the perfect partner to the freshly brewed coffee...the corn fritters were also great ..the pizzette though could have been better. But overall...i think i would love going back there again and again to make great memories with friends over coffee and cake 🙂🙂 the ambience is good and adjoining the cafe is a place where u cud shop too . Garments basically.. we 3 friends paid almost 1300 for all that we had including GST... Not that bad.. huh ..

They haven't changed that in years and I always have to get an extra button put after buying the shirts. Great place with delicious and healthy food. Has many vegan options, even for the cakes. Rather pricey for India but delivers with quality. The crowd is somewhere between rich Indians and European tourists (that’s include me I guess). Anyway, can totally recommend if you crave something light and healthy for lunch.

I came to the City Palace expecting much more for various reasons. First, because being the city palace I was expecting to see some parts of the palace, and second because the reviews were great about this place. So let me explained my experience. First things first, many people are posting here reviews of the city palace with picture of Hawa Mahal, which is the palace of winds, not the city palace, so some people might get confused. I have also seen pictures of Amber Fort here when it is 20 minute away from the city palace. Secondly, the ticket price is very high for what you can see. I am talking about my experience buying the tickets online. When you buy the tickets for a 1000 rupies you are left to believe you can access the palace too (unless that is how it is sold on the website). But when you come to the palace, and you wander around the courtyard and museums you don't get to access any of the beautiful rooms this palace is known for. I so asked at the ticket office and they told me to actually see some of the palace rooms I had to pay another 5000 thousand rupies. I totally understand it is the city palace and the royal family lives there, but I think that is a step price, and the worst part is when you buy the tickets is not clear at all. In the end, I only saw the courtyard with beautiful doors because the whole experience was dissapointing. I don't think the 1000 rupies are justify for what you see in my opinion.

There are many areas we could have visited but most were closed off due to an event in the evening. However we managed to experience the Palace and also get a sneak peak into how a wedding at this venue will look. Highly recommended venue to visit.

Visited Nahargarh Fort in the morning and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and panoramic city views. The fort is beautifully built on the hilltop, offering a stunning view of Jaipur from above. Unfortunately, the Padao Restaurant was closed when we reached, so we couldn’t try it — it would have been nice to enjoy breakfast or tea with that view. Still, the fort itself is worth visiting, especially in the morning when it’s quiet and not crowded.

I tried their Rajasthani thali, and it was a feast of flavors — dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, and more, all served fresh and with that true homely taste. The portion size was generous, and the service was quick despite the crowd. Their sweets section is legendary — especially the paneer ghewar, rasgulla, and sohan halwa. Everything was fresh, rich, and packed in hygienic boxes, ideal for gifting or travel. The ambiance is old-school and classy, with a clean dining area and polite staff. But many things needs improvement- place hygiene, interiors, staff hygiene needs improvement. World famous paneer ghewar was packed in a mediocre box and tasted just ok. The Anokhi Museum is a well known gem in Amber! The block printing demo was fascinating, and the hands-on class made it even better. I loved trying the traditional printing myself, it is so much more difficult than it looks. The staff and teacher was kind and patient, and I left with a real appreciation for this beautiful Rajasthani Indian art form. A must-visit if you want a creative and cultural experience near Amber Fort! Cultural immersion at its best.

Anokhi Museum is one of the best places to learn the art of hand-block printing. Less crowded and peaceful where you can learn a lot about the history of hand block tools, and the use of natural dyes and witness the live hand block printing by the artisans. However, I didn't like the way artisans asked for money, even though we had plans to tip them. The ticket charges are 80Rs per person. There is also a cafe outside the museum.

We ordered a cold coffee that was disappointingly weak, a mint ginger lemonade that was just okay, and a Vietnamese spring roll that was healthy but tasteless. Everything was really nice. Coffee especially was very good. But come on the portion size is a joke 🤣 this was the scrambled eggs on toast. Maybe they are putting me on a diet? Price is very high for india so not sure why the portions are so small. And they add on 15% for taxes and service which is straight rude. Include this in your prices and be transparent.

Service was super slow - I got my Americano relatively quickly but the Chai didn't come till we had the food half over, also it took at least 20min till any BF item arrived although the restaurant was almost empty. However, I’d say that off late both the food taste and service has dipped. It just doesn’t feel as good. And when you pay those exorbitant prices you sure expect a goof time. Below is some of the stuff I’ve ordered once or sometimes multiple times: 1. Rosa Rossa (5/5) - my favorite drink there. Sometimes I drink up to 3 of those in one meal. 2. We had dine in and it took 15 min just for is to get our latte then 20 mins later we got our spring rolls and then 5 mins later our garlic bread then finally 45 mins later our pizza. There was nobody in the restraunt it was mostly empty except us the food was nice but not worth waiting that long the place was amazing and I have been here before so I do have to say it has downgraded but not bad but not amazing mid

The location is good. With a lot of shops and food stalls but there is lack of maintenance. But the view is so good. At the centre of the lack there is jal Mahal. You can see the mountains around. Waste float on water with foul smell. And the prices of the things are so high with respect to other places of Jaipur. Lack of washrooms No water facility All the facilities are not working.

Government of rajasthan and city of Jaipur knows how to make a beautiful iconic historical place a dump of garbage and filth. Absolutely no civic sense. Garbage everywhere, the bathrooms are nasty and you can’t even enter it. People keep trashing the lake with plastic bottles everywhere. A shame to visit this place as an Indian. Who is responsible and where is all the government funding going??

Beautifully restored Jal Mahal monument located in lake Man Sagar of Jaipur.Lake also harbours different kind of fishes released to keep the lake clean and to add to the food chain of fish eating birds. Trees have been planted on the islands where these water birds make hundreds of nests. More than 200 bird species have been recorded here so far. A judgement on a legal issue is delievered it would be opened for public .

I can confidently say this is one of Jaipur's premier auditoriums. Each time I've had the pleasure of attending an event here, I've been pleasantly surprised by something new and well-executed. The Maharana Pratap Jayanti celebration in 2025, with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma in attendance, was a standout experience. The entire program was flawlessly managed, and the auditorium's ambiance and facilities truly impressed me. It's a top-notch venue for any function.

We had planned planetarium visit & visited Birla Auditorium alongwith. A great place to visit. Many exhibitions on going at multiple exhibition halls. A main delight is availablity of Maharaja Cafe inside the Birla Auditorium makes it even a great place for family who can enjoy shopping/exhibition participation and food all at one place.

It's good for events . I don't go too often but its good . Like recently I went for the shopping but its not as trendy and good . To be very true the building is good and the restaurant inside is really beautiful and the food is too good but the fairs like sales and all are very cheap and costly too yet being outdated .

It's an amazing place for artist, (it's a governmental place, so no resistance for visiting), it has a library which is paid, else mostly visiting is public, you can go visit, enjoy alone vibe, people with different culture & mind, and a public area vibe u will get. There webseries also shooted and a one in front of mine( you can watch the shoot freely but without disturbing anyone, people will he coperative) and many more interesting places are there. I love alone vibe and calm, public area, so it's great to visit. You will find girls boys and everyone, you can meet girls too and talk also boys, i think you should visit once and spend time visiting around all area.

We visited Masala Chowk during our trip to Jaipur in September. While the place is well-maintained and offers a wide variety of options, from chaat, lassi, rabri, dal bati churma, kadhi, sabzi, pizza, to ice creams. One thing that felt unusual was the entry fee of ₹13. Though nominal, most food courts across India do not charge an entry fee, which makes it feel a bit unfair. We tried the Dal Bati Churma Thali, which came with dal, two plain batis, one masala bati, a small portion of churma, Rajasthani kadhi, mixed sabzi, and pickle. The batis were nicely done, crisp on the outside and soft inside. The kadhi and pickle stood out with authentic flavors, while the dal was a little on the plain side. The churma carried a strong rose flavor, which might be an acquired taste for some. The Rabri Lassi was mildly tangy and sweet, while the rabri itself was delicious, the lassi could have been thicker for a richer experience. Among all the items we tried, the Pani Puri was the clear winner, absolutely refreshing and worth trying. Pricing is reasonable considering the variety on offer. It’s a self-service setup with clean toilets and wash basins available, and parking is conveniently located right at the entrance (paid street parking). Overall, Masala Chowk is a lively spot to sample different flavors of Jaipur in one place worth a visit, but the entry fee could certainly be reconsidered.

Recommend stopping by this store to buy some nice quality blue pottery. They seem to have a good mix of traditional and modern designs. We bought some lovely coffee cups with matching dessert bowls. They have great prices and they’re fixed so no need to worry about bargaining. I’ve been to two other stores and Neerja has very good prices. Variety might be a bit limited.

Highly disappointed with the customer service here. This is the second time that they have packed plates so poorly that they chipped. I told them that this has been the case and was assured it will not happen this time but yet again !!!

Incredible experience in jaipur for shopping for a variety of stuff, cotton dresses in jaipur print, co-ord sets, suits, night suits, shirts for all age groups and kurtis for men, bangles, shoes, spices, beddings and condiments. This market is heaven for shoppers, with some fixed price shops and some with flexible bargaining. Must try kachoris at the stalls near chaandi ki taxaal( near city palace), mouth watering and delicious aloo-pyaz kachoris ( traditional fried savoury, snacks, made of wheat, potatoes, onions and spices). Absolutely love this place, what a vibe !!

The shop manager is a classist lady who discriminates people on the basis of what they’re buying and she wasn’t interested at all in me even when I had the most politest tone at all times just because I was a man. She judged me on the basis of what I was wearing and what I was buying and her behaviour was horrible towards me. This is the same lady who sits at the cashier desk and wears glasses, has been working for quite a long while for cottons as I saw her before as well when my mother bought stuff from cottons when it was never spice court. The experience shocked me and I was not sure why she chose to behave with me like that without knowing my intentions.

An amazing boutique tucked away in this part of Jaipur. Though they only have women's options, they were very kind & helped me shopped for my female relatives & friends. Easily accessible for customers with reduced mobility & is a must if you want to pick up something classy & hand printed. Even Maharani Gayatri Devi used to shop from this flagship store, an added bit of royal charm remains too.

Kurtas are pretty. However, quality is not as good as per the price charged. I bought 6 pieces in March and 4 of them are barely holding up after half a dozen washes. The Cotton is so thin, most of them are looking like years old piece. Not worth 2000+ a piece they charge.

Bought three pillow cases and their fillings. Two out of the three pillow fillings were too big for the pillows. Especially the really long pillow that only Kilol do. Very dishonest. You assume shops have the decency to give you what you ask for without you having to double check. Shame on you.

Their staff is very very rude.I went there today and tried a kurta, it was in S size and fitting me, however I did not like it. When I picked another kurta to try, their staff told me if I'm taking larger size to try, i asked why then they tolde i have ruined their piece. I asked them to show me how, they said it's stretched now and stitches are coming out from the kurta slit. They were very very rude when saying this and made me feel very bad. I mentioned it to the store manager, and she said that they need to now pay for the damaged piece. I said how can stitches be coming out from waist, and how can you prove i have done it, and they responded again very rude to this. I walked out, my sister who was buying two pieces said you were rude, they said we have done nothing wrong. If this is the kind of staff that is there, then it's very very unacceptable. I'm never visiting the store again.

Nice selection of women's traditional salwar suits etc and a little bit of other stuff. Design are supposed to be hand printed with natural dyes. The selection is on the conservative, sophisticated and sober side. If one is looking for very bright or gaudy collection then this is definitely not the place for them. The reason I have not given five stars is because the selection is limited and if one were to visit too frequently it may be difficult to pick an outfit which one hasn't already seen or bought. If you are able to spend almost 3000 or more on a cotton outfit and have a taste for the sober Rajasthani designs and colours then this place is definitely worth a visit. They also have other items like cushions etc but ladies suits are their mainstay.

Major payment issues with suppliers, labour. They will get the work done and then refuse to pay up citing frivolous reasons when it's time to pay up. Sometimes after getting consignment they will deduct for colour, quality, wash, finish whatever comes to their mind. But when samples are approved they will say it is good work please finish entire consignment asap. Not paying up despite work completion and submission of Bill's shows poorly on management front. They should not be trusted for payment of dues, this is humble advice to stear clear of this store or brand.

Anantaya is a singularity. It's a store for all & no reasons & rhymes, a realm unlike another. I've been there five times & ironically, never bought a thing. Though exceedingly well curated, the store does feel a bit cluttered, a tad too overwhelming- devoid of a breathing, thinking space somehow. As a haven for meditative shopping therapy, it is almost there. Well, almost.

Elegant bespoke shop located just behind splendid Hotel Taj Mahal! The shopkeeper Vicky receives his clients with an amazing kindness and knowhow! Everything you want to have is possible and so I got with Vickys advice and good taste a wonderful blue velvet Jacket in Princes cut in which I really I feel like a Prince!! I would immediately go back to see Vicky at the Rohit Kamra shop to get more of these fantastic royal Maharadja clothes, but unfortunately the way is rather long from Luxembourg to Mumbai!

The quality of the products are amazing. The store is really nice and smells lovely with great selections of clothing and houseware. Very attentive and friendly service. Please be noted that there are a few stores with the name Jaipur pink in the city so you might end up in the wrong location. Make sure to spell the pink with 2 KK Pinkk

This place is joy to spend time to go through their high-quality textiles and to have a chat with the friendly staff. They know a lot about the products they are selling and are happy to tell you about them. I even got recommendations about places to visit where certain printing techniques like ajrak are applied.

If you are in Jaipur and have not visited this store, your trip is definitely incomplete. Loved my handwoven and block print dresses designed so beautifully. Definitely coming back soon for more.

It’s a lovely store with amazing owners. Never experienced this level of care and attention towards customers in any other retails store prior to this. The collection at Jaipur Pinkk- right from their fabrics to immaculate finishing is difficult to find. Being from a textile design background I really appreciate the level of detail they put in crafting their products. If you believe in buying less but good quality clothes that last you a lifetime- this is the store for you. I would like to mention that Jaipur Pinkk Dohars& bed linen are unmissable and you must invest in them. Please do drop by to the store!

I have been a loyal client of the label for the past 10 years, and I am very impressed by the consistency in their quality and newness in designs. Their new store is a beautiful space so well-curated, and a real pleasure to shop in for clothing and home items. Just a note: there are a few misleading shops with names similar to theirs, and a few of my friends ended up at the wrong place. Make sure you visit the one spelled Jaipur Pinkk -with a double ‘kk’ at the end.

Swati and her team made me the most gorgeous wedding lengha from scratch. We had multiple meetings to design it and she took all of my ideas to transform into reality. The embroidery work and finishing of the lengha is unbelievably good - better than I could have imagined and quality of the product is amazing. Really pleased with the outcome and overall service, especially as it was shipped from India to the UK during covid! Such a special lengha and I cannot wait to wear it soon. Thanks Swati!

Swati and team is one wonderful combo. I ordered my Marwari Poshak for my Teej. She made it so ethereal. The real fabric quality 5 star, intricate work 5 star, fitting 5 star, design asthetics 5 star. She got me one elegant and classic Poshak. Swati made my wedding lehenga and it was everything I wanted! We had to visit the place all of 3 times - once to check out the work, once to place the order and once for a trial. She made a custom piece after understanding my preferences. We didn’t even see a drawing of the final piece and just trusted that she’s do a good job. She did not disappoint! It was the most maroon beautiful lehenga! To sum up - beautiful and neat and work, great aesthetic sense, timely delivery and warm and smooth shopping experience. Could’ve have asked for anything more. 10/10 would recommend.

The team was very helpful and got back to me extremely quickly, and showed me pictures and videos throughout the process. The outfit turned out perfect and I got so many compliments on it. I would highly recommend using Swatiubro for your outfits!

The absolute WORST experience of my LIFE! my blood boils even today after so many years when I think about the way she treated my mom. She had gone to pick my floor length gown from this person's boutique and they said it wasn't ready although over phone they said it will be ready. Then they're like can't you postpone your flight... Its just a flight... Yeahlike we have nothing better to do than wait for one dress and pay for extra tickets. Then my mom asked okay can i at least see the outfit. They're like it's in our workshop which was in the same building at the time. They said no we can't take you there but can take your phone and get you a picture. Ugly dress, nothing like it was discussed. There had to be beautiful designs across the gown but instead there was just scrolls of sequins. We paid half the amount already and my mom was distraught and almost into tears. Then their some wealthy customers walked in and they asked my mom to sit in the next room which was a GODOWN.

Rasa Cafe is our go-to place ! The food is fresh, sumptuous and the potion size is great! It is extremely affordable given the quality of food! The service is great. The staff members Ms. Shobha , Mr. Babu and others are very hospitable and efficient! Highly recommended

One of the best textile and bedding shops I have ever visited. The prices are reasonable for the extremely high quality of the products. The ambience was welcoming and the staff was very helpful when I wanted to look for specific dresses for myself.

Gorgeous Store with some really exquisite pieces. The girl at the Store seemed to have woken up from her slumber. I decided not to purchase due to her highly condescending attitude. We reached at about 7:15pm. It was the peak of summer. The ACs of the store was off ans when I asked her to switch it on - The manager/owner/sales person blunty informed us it would close in about 15 minutes. She was not interested in even letting us try. Her attitude was extremely dismissive and off putting. A shame!

Beautiful pieces of clothes but they only had one or 2 in my size. That staff was friendly and tried to look for other option. They even called the other store in Jaipur to see if they have my size.

Extremely rude owner. Delivered my order late. My parents were to leave India to visit me in U.S. so they called her to get an update on the order. She was extremely unprofessional - she not only didn’t give an update but also disconnected the call as my dad started to explain why we needed the order on time. It was completely unacceptable. The owner won’t treat customers with even a little bit of dignity. I would strongly recommend not to go here. There are many better places in Jaipur.

Absolutely terrible experience shopping here. Was in Jaipur and spent a good hour at the store selecting an outfit and then paying an advance with a bill. After a few days they conveniently raised the price of the piece I had selected and said it cannot be done in the price as billed. Never seen such unethical practice especially with a designer label. Very shameful.

Love how their clothes are so different in their styling and yet have simplicity. Their fabrics are lovely, and soft on the skin. They are my go to for ethnic wear. Tokree makes me feel pretty!

Tokree is an absolutely stunning store and one of my favourite to visit in Jaipur. Their clothes are gorgeous and the fabric is super comfortable to wear. Would highly recommend the store.

They have really nice collection of cotton casual indian wear. The fabric is perfect for indian summer. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful.

I am giving only one star because the service was EXTREMELY poor . We visited at 3.30 pm Sept 2nd 2025 and could not even look around as the man in a hat was not at all pleasant in manner and he even banged the door after we left . On checking I see that 6 years ago someone had also complained about the service so obviously the owners do not care much about customer service . It's sad to see this behaviors in my home town . We went next door to Aashka and spent our money there as the customer service was wonderful .
