Restaurant
Dry Dock Waterfront Grill is a casual waterfront restaurant located at the Boathouse marina on Longboat Key, offering panoramic views of Sarasota Bay. It has been recognized as one of the 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America for its picturesque setting. The menu features seafood specialties such as grouper sandwiches, lobster rolls, and Boathouse Burgers.
Great food! Great service. When my husband said he was taking me to lunch, I was thinking we were going to another restaurant. I was quite glad when he pulled up to Dry Dock Waterfront Grill as I knew I didn't have to worry about what I would order. Of course, I ordered the best thing on the menu: the seafood pasta with garlic and wine sauce (I forgot to order it with extra garlic though!! 🤦🏿‍♀️). My husband ordered the Tuscan cream sauce pasta with blackened grouper. He said it was delicious. I wouldn't know since I was gobbling down my own deliciousness so quickly! 🤷🏿 We gave the virgin strawberry daiquiris. They were ok, a little icy and lacked the sweetness of some others. The outdoor patio was breezy and nice. They really try to make it comfortable for the guests and it shows. DDWG is a bit pricey, and it doesn't look like they have a lunch menu (unless I missed it??), so if you are budget conscious, you'll have to choose your menu items carefully. Whatever you choose, especially if it's one of their pastas, you'll be glad you did! Happy eating! 😊

Im not much of a seafood person but this place was phenomenal. I had a few locals tell me how good this place is and it did not disappoint. Their coconut shrimp and their category 5 shrimp were phenomenal. And the lobster rolls had you craving for some more. Highly recommend!

The food at Dry Dock Waterfront Grill was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The views overlooking Sarasota Bay were stunning and made the whole experience worth the visit. Carly, our waitress, was top-notch. She had fantastic people skills, made us feel genuinely welcome, and took great care of us throughout the meal. You can tell she loves what she does. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Highly recommend!

On vacation we rarely eat at the same place twice but we did here! Went early for dinner around 4 to 5pm. Did have to wait a few minutes but we'll worth it. They have deck seating and 2 and 3 floor seating, all with great views of the bay. Our first visit, our waitress was exceptional! Our meal superb! Had grouper, veggies and real mashed potatoes. This was the best meal of the week!!! My second was sea bass, red potatoes and asparagus. Other plates were delighful chicken. Veggies so tender. Highly recommend 👌 FYI watch out for Barney Fife with the Longboat Police dept. They work Gulf Blvd with their radar guns!

🤤 o m g. Delish! Amazing vibe, delicious food, and phenomenal service. The entrees are very generous portions with a delicious salad. I got the blackened grouper and my partner got the bacon wrapped scallops and coconut shrimp. I did not have a bad bite of food all night. We had an amazing sunset to complement dinner time too! They had a ton of fans running outside to keep the air moving to prevent overheating. Our server was even kind enough to take a cute picture of me and my boo at sunset :) worth the splurge!

Exceptional food and service! AND the view of the water was amazing! Our server Sylvia was amazing and so knowledgeable and patient as it was our 1st time there but definitely not our last! Red snapper was so delish as we're the crab cakes and crab claws! Upscale restaurant but doesn't make you feel out of place!! Loved it

Lovely! We wanted a special place for our anniversary. My husband found Dry Dock Waterfront Grill. We were offered the option to sit inside or out (we had a reservation and went at lunchtime) and chose to sit inside which was on the second floor overlooking the water. We had a hard time picking what we wanted to eat since everything sounded so good. My husband ordered the Lobster rolls with fries while I ordered the Grouper tacos (fried) with coleslaw. SO GOOD! One of those meals you don’t want to stop eating even when you are full. Everything was prepared perfectly. The coleslaw was some of the best I’ve ever had! We were very happy. Can’t wait to go back! (Already decided what I want).

Went for my bday dinner with my bf and we really enjoyed it. Lobster bisque wasn’t my fave I’ve ever had had a really fishy aftertaste but everything else was really good. We got the bacon wrapped scallops, soup, and we each got a pasta - one snapper & one seafood and they were great. Worth waiting to sit by the waterfront if you can get a reservation, gorgeous view of the water. They also had bug spray which came in so handy and was very thoughtful. Recommend the salted caramel cheesecake to finish it off. Some cons were we mentioned it was my bday when making the reservation and nothing special was done or mentioned about it so kind of wish we picked somewhere else for the special occasion in that regard. We had a late reservation (8:45) and it seemed like the workers really wanted to go home because they were packing up fans etc early which takes away from the experience overall. We deserve the same experience diners got at 5/6 and staff should close up once patrons leave it’s just kind of rude overall and makes customers feel rushed to leave and we shouldn’t feel that way or they should not be taking late reservations if they want people to hurry up and go. Overall still enjoyed it but could’ve been better based on the cons of the overall dining experience

Walt's Fish Market Restaurant is a historic seafood spot that has been in business for over 100 years. Originally established as a fish market in 1941, it has evolved into a full-service restaurant and fish market. The restaurant offers fresh seafood meals, including gator bites and hush puppies, while the market provides patrons with the opportunity to purchase fresh fish for cooking at home.
We were pointed toward Walt’s by some friendly locals while out playing pool, and I’m so glad we took their advice. From start to finish, this place delivered big-time. We kicked things off with the Oyster Rockefeller, which set the tone, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For the main course, our group went all out and shared a variety of dishes: the Alaskan Fish & Chips, Captain’s Platter, Charred Grill Plate, and the Raspberry Chipotle Scallops. Every single dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. You could taste the quality of the seafood and the care in the kitchen. We wrapped up the meal with their Key Lime Pie and Bread Pudding, both were a perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal. If you’re in the area and want true local flavor with great vibes and even better seafood, Walt’s is a must. Trust the locals on this one!

Nice local vibe. The food with good (not anything to write home about… but good enough). We had a great time over all and the waitress was very nice. This is a place we would go to again if we lived locally, it was worth the trip for sure.

Had such a wonderful lunch here today - we got the clam chowder, peel OBG shrimp app, grouper bowl, steamed snow crab & blueberry cobbler cheesecake and everything was cooked so well and was delicious! We had great service and everything was very clean as well. Fun beach vibes inside make it a really great lunch spot, highly recommend!
Jakalynne G — Google review
Absolutely a must eat restaurant in Sarasota. We stopped here on the way to Siesta Key beach and we enjoyed our lunch so much. Everything was delish. Lobster bites is to die for. The cocktail was strong and nice. Very friendly staff. Strongly recommend.
Hannah F — Google review
This is a great local place to enjoy seafood! The service is good. The atmosphere completely fits the food. The meal is exactly what many want when we visit the beach. The one downside is that there was a guy smoking around the outside seating area, which did take away from the dining experience. If you love seafood, then make time for Walt's Fish Market!!!
Fulton B — Google review
Loved it, the fish spread was delicious. We had a party of 5 & enjoyed the Bob Pot for 2, Captains Platter, Alfredo for or non seafood eater and chicken tenders for the 6 year old. We all loved what we chose, we will definitely come back next trip
Michelle G — Google review
Had a great lunch. I had grouper tacos and husband had grouper sandwich. Recommended although I had a little bit of sticker shock. One soda only and it was 65 bucks with the tips. Great food though.
Claudia S — Google review
The food delivered great value for the price and brought back memories of the seafood joints I grew up with. The lobster bisque was hands-down the best I’ve had in Florida—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My brother was equally impressed with his Paella, calling it spot-on. If I had one suggestion, it would be to season the fish a bit more before cooking or breading—it could use a touch more salt to really bring out the flavor. As for drinks, my wife ordered a Piña Colada, but it tasted more like a blend of alcohol and ice than a proper cocktail. We swapped it out for a margarita, and that was a total win—smooth, refreshing, and exactly what we were hoping for.

Seafood restaurant
Owen's Fish Camp, located in downtown Sarasota, is a quintessential Florida seafood shack offering an array of imaginative seafood dishes in a casual setting. The restaurant is situated under a historic banyan tree gifted by Thomas Edison to Owen Burns, adding to its charm. The menu features popular items like Pan-Fried Lump Crab Cake and Cornmeal Crusted Catfish. The cozy backyard garden hosts small concerts during sunset, making it the perfect spot to unwind.
Owen’s is a vibe! Love the backyard waiting area. They always have live music & you can get drinks and different appetizers out back while you’re waiting for your table. Chargrilled oysters, fish dip, & Mexican coke all slapped. Have patience with the wait - it is worth it! We’ve been many times, with a group of 4 & under we were always seated pretty quickly. 5+ you’re going to be waiting awhile so enjoy the backyard & don’t plan on rushing. The food is amazing, we love the daily fish specials. Scamp & snapper were both great. Fried shrimp basket, fried green tomato salad, & the key lime pie are all great.
Victoria D — Google review
We hit Owens Fish Camp during our recent vacation and it did not disappoint. While not on the water, the ambience, covered by trees and nature while tucked away near downtown, was great. We sat outside on a warm summer night. The service was really good. We had everything we needed and yet the servers weren’t intrusive. It was our first time to Owens and they gave great recommendations on what to try. We started with the Gumbo and Crab Cake appetizers. Both were flavorful and the crab cake was over stuffed with breading. For entrees we went with Shrimp Baskets & the Fresh Catch plates with Scamp and Grouper with Butter sauces. The fresh was cooked perfectly (meaning not over) and you could taste the freshness. We ended up splitting a Key Lime Pie for dessert. Everything went well and we will certainly be back on our next trip. There’s also a mercantile shop connected to the restaurant to kill time while waiting for a table. We were there mid week and there wasn’t live music but next time we’ll try on a weekend to hear some tunes. All in all, highly recommend Owens Fish Camp for a great all-around dining experience.
John — Google review
Sooo Owen’s Fish Camp was on my list to try when visiting Sarasota and I’m glad we made it! My mom loves seafood, so whenever she visits me, we make it a point to check out a seafood spot. Walking up, you definitely get those fish camp, local vibes. We arrived “early” and it was already packed, but luckily found some seating. Our waitress was patient and helped guide us through the menu. The decor matched the theme perfectly, and outside they had a big backyard area with live music and another bar. There’s also a store connected to the restaurant with different items to browse. We truly enjoyed our food, left stuffed and sleepy! My only feedback is that the dishes were a little heavy on the sodium. The seasoning was good, but at times the salt was noticeable. It didn’t ruin anything, just something that stood out. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a spot not to miss! What was ordered: Oysters Rockefeller w/ Crab, Spinach & Hollandaise = delicious Hot Crab Dip = very good & loved the Ritz crackers pairing Naked Fish w/ Beans & Collards = flavorful, but a bit too salty Cornmeal Crusted Catfish w/ Spicy Collards, Grits & Brown Butter = fish fried perfectly, collards salty, but grits were spot on
M. H — Google review
Owens Burns Court will not take reservations and they only seat full parties - I knew that going in. We had a large group that I was happy to seat at different tables. Outdoors has larger tables but it was darn hot when we went. 6 of us showed up - got a table right away at 5pm on a Monday. Little bit later 5 more showed up and luckily got a table right next to the other one! Then our last 2 stragglers arrived as they were driving from further away and they got seated right near us in the bar high tops area. Service was wonderful - Brandi was awesome, front of house were ingenious in suggesting the high tops at the bar so we could all be close by. Food came out super fast and hot. Everyone was served at each table together. We were trying to make a 6:30pm movie at Burns Cinema next door and had plenty of time to move our cars and get tickets. Everyone enjoyed their food - Corvina, Scamp, Trout, Crab Cake, Shrimp Salad, Jambalaya, so much more - all was perfect - and always fun. Music starts at 5:30pm and the outdoors area is super cute, when it's a wee bit cooler.

My mother & I came and sat at the bar. It was wonderful service. Both bartenders were so amazing and sweet. The fish special which was scamp, was the best grouper I have ever had. My mom even said it tasted like lobster. She loved the succotash. My salad was incredible! The atmosphere is amazing & they had live music & food out back while you wait for your table!
Hannah R — Google review
The hype is real. No reservations and no wait list as stated on google maps. Went on Sat night about 615p and waited about 40 min. Was directed to the backyard which served some small bites. Had grilled oysters which were great. had some house cocktails whiskey lemonade and bourbon tea which were not bad. Plenty of seats with a live performer. Met 'Beaver' who said he was the OG. He had taken our orders at the grill/drinks area and came around when it got less busy there asking if we needed anything. He gave us some tips on what to order and he was spot on. The best thing was the chicken fried lobster tails. Should have ordered 2 orders. The garlic snails were also good. Nice sauce served over mashed potatoes, all coming in a bowl. Had peel n eat shrimp. tasty but didn't realize it was cold. Would have been great warm. Should not have gotten the hot crab dip. Kinda fishy tasting and wasn't that good. I did like the ritz crackers. I ordered the low country boil for 2. Was quite good. Gave you a good amount of shrimp. Most of the clamshells were empty and only could find a few lying around. Mussels just ok. potatoes were very good. I should have gotten the order of crab legs by itself and also something else. Gumbo was good. No okra tho. clam chowda was great. My son had jambalaya, good but not as good as New Orleans. His fiancee had pasta that was great. Wife had Scamp grouper that was excellent. Server Claudia was very nice. Kind of quiet. And Beaver came around again! Asked how the food was. I told him everything was great except the Crab dip. He said, "I never told you to get that" He was great and added to our wonderful evening. I will definitely tell my friends and come back next time i'm in town.
Charles W — Google review
Owen's was recommended by a friend who travels to Sarasota often. The fish was great along with the sides...perfection. I sat at the bar. Made quick friends from other Midwestern parts! Margarita tasted like key like pie. I had the Wahoo-blackened with green tomato salsa, cheesy grits and collard greens. Every bite...yumm!!
Cathy V — Google review
Super cool little spot, was referred to us by Joe at Tommy Bahamma. Great recommendation, service, drinks and food are good! I'm a non seafood guy and the burger and fries were 🔥 For anyone wondering (non seafood people looking to go with seafood people 😆 ) the joint didn't smell fishy and the fries didn't have a fishy taste either (seems like they have separate fryers (as any establishment should) )✌🏽

Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar, affectionately known as "the Creek" by locals, is a beloved waterfront restaurant located just a short distance from downtown Sarasota. This long-standing eatery offers a casual atmosphere and stunning views of Phillippi Creek. Known for its excellent oysters on the half shell, seafood paella, and stone crab (in season from October through April), it's a go-to spot for Southern-style seafood dishes like gumbo and fried gator chunks.
A location we have been to many times that never disappoints. If you are visiting Sarasota then Phillippi Creek should be on your to-do list. The food is always delicious, the service always attentive, and the atmosphere is quaint. I recommend the tilapia and red potatoes.

When I got my Asian poke bowl, it looked like a masterpiece!!! I’m in love with the setting and restaurant. It’s right on the water as tourists go by on boat tours. The service is par excellence, the food is fresh and made to order, the restaurant is throughly cleaned and full or vibrancy! The menu is extensive and during the summer time they have a special menu. I can’t wait to be back for their seafood boil! My server was perfect! Thank you Brad.

It was a beautiful day and we chose to eat outside on the deck. Waiter was totally unfamiliar with the menu and when the Tiki tuna wrap came in it was served on lettuce rather than a wrap and no wasabi. My grouper wrap was a little fishy and it was wet. The beers were nice and cold and the fries were hot and tastey. Nice view of the creek but would not hurry back.

Oh wow, they have such delicious food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We went at night, the vibe was a bit dark but once inside, it's really nice. I had the combination seafood boil, which can feed 2, it is a must! The crab cakes was also good. My hubby got fish tacos, he really liked that.

Oct 1st 2024 Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar saved the day for my family. My daughter was scheduled to be married on Lido beach at Limetree Beach Resort but Hurricane Helene crushed those dreams and plans. We stopped to eat at Phillippi Creek after picking up wedding decorations from Limetree and I had a thought that maybe we could have the wedding on their dock. I asked the managers Ricky and Jorge if it would be possible and they said YES!!! With only a few days to change coarse Lisa and her team with Tied The Knot weddings made it happen. It turned out to be the best day ever for all of us!!! I can't thank the staff at Phillippi Creek for saving the day and the the excellent service they provided the wedding party and all of the delicious food as always!!! My favorite place to eat 🥰

The restaurant has beautiful views and the staff was super friendly. We had Valentina and she was amazing!!! The food was delicious. We had the stuffed grouper and the steamed dungeness crab dinner. So good!

Kind of disappointed. Very small portions. Ordered fried clams extra crispy. They came out luke warm and not fresh cooked crispy. Flavor was fair and ahain small portion. Fried clams were served hot but small order for the price and only a few were large enough to dip. Needed a spoon to finish most of the order. Hush puppies were hot but not very flavorfull. Waiter was amazing and very friendly. All the staff i interacted with were professional and pleasant. Dont know if I'll be back.

Restaurant
Siesta Key Oyster Bar, affectionately known as S.K.O.B., is a laid-back beach spot with a covered patio where you can savor delicious seafood and bar favorites while enjoying draft beer and live music. The restaurant lives up to its name by offering an array of fresh oysters and other local seafood dishes. From raw and baked oysters to grouper bites with signature remoulade, there's something for every seafood lover.
Fresh, flavorful seafood, worth the wait! The food here is absolutely delicious and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. It can get a little hectic during peak times, and things might move a bit slow since the place gets packed and the staff is juggling a lot. That said, the waitresses were top-notch: friendly, professional, and doing their best to keep up with the crowd. If you're not in a rush, it's definitely worth it!

Delicious grouper tacos. The best way to get grouper without overlaying for sides. Excellent service. I sat at the bar and Megan took top notch service for me. Ambience is fantastic too. You can sit either inside or outside. I sat outside at first to soak up some sun, and then moved inside to soak up some AC and live music. I’ll be back for HH oysters.
Frank F — Google review
I always love coming back to this place, it's really nice, and every time I go, even if I'm not hungry, I order the calamari. I don't know if I do it out of habit, but I love them. I also tried the oysters, and even some cooked oysters (I don't remember the name because I didn't order them myself, I think they had cheese on them) and, man, those were good too! They often have live music, which makes everything more magical.
Maria K — Google review
Such a fun spot. Right off main stretch with live music. Didnt have drinks as we came in after a beach day but food was delicious. Blue cheese and bacon oysters... best oysters I've had yet. You can tell its been around for decades as the inside is covered in dollar bills and memorabilia. We will come back when we are in the areas for sure.
Ann C — Google review
Lunch was good, nothing to write home about or suggest to others. The cocktails ($12-$15) were good, no cheap sugary mixes. The oysters Rockefeller were meh, just spinache, barely any crispy bread crumps, almost no cheese and very little sauce. The grouper bites were really good. The tuna and avocado BLT was also very good. Cajun Shrimp po'boy had no Cajun seasoning. Service started out good but then she would forget what we asked for and just stood up at the host stand. Wouldn't complain of we went back but would try a different restaurant next time I'm on the area.

Great local bar. Good food, a little pricey though. Great staff. Gets crowded because it's small. Always has a great band playing! Drink selection was limited on seltzers though which I prefer

For an oyster bar, we found it disappointing. The service was great, the food was ok. Grouper bites were good, the oysters not so much. The crab cakes were so so. Quesada’s were good. They were filled with cheese and veggies and didn’t dry out.

Great selection of cold water oysters, truly some of the best oysters we’ve had, period! Ordered dozen oysters (mignonette delicious), calamari and lobster roll from the specials menu. Perfect vibes and service ✨

Duval's Fresh. Local. Seafood is a top-notch dining spot in Sarasota, offering high-quality seafood and meats in a modern setting. The restaurant prides itself on sourcing ingredients from local fishermen and farmers to ensure freshness in every dish. With a menu featuring New England fish and chips, lobster mac n cheese, and cashew-encrusted chicken, visitors can indulge in a variety of delectable options.
I’m visiting Sarasota for the first time on a work trip and decided to take a walk around the area. I started heading to a sushi spot, but right next to it I noticed Duval with signs saying “#1” and “Best Seafood,” so I decided to give it a try instead. As soon as I walked in, the host was so friendly and welcoming and seated me outside. My server Jennifer was the absolute sweetest. She made great recommendations and treated me like a regular even though it was my first visit. The food was beyond delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Sarasota.

We dine on a Saturday at 8:45 pm, a party of 7 (family reunion). The servers were all friendly and diligent. It was a quiet place where we could all communicate nicely (we had a long table). We ordered: lobster bisque soup, sesame crusted tuna, Duval's seafood sample (pictured my half, I shared the order half with mom), lobster Mac and cheese, and fish and chips. All the dishes were delicious. As desserts we ordered: bread pudding (an original and delicious version of the traditional one also a portion big enough for 2), Seasonal Crème Brûlée (creamy and delicious), and blueberry cheesecake (I didn't like it at all, sadly.. the texture and flavor were not appealing for a cheesecake lover as I am). It was a great experience for us all

Really enjoyed our time at Duvall’s in Sarasota. Our waiter was so nice and welcoming. The margarita and cosmopolitan were both great, and the seafood was fresh and delicious. The place has a really nice vibe inside and outside, relaxed but still elegant. I’d definitely come back.

Stopped here because I was craving seafood. I did not have reservations so we had to eat outside. (Not a big deal but on certain days this could be a deal breaker). I started with a drink reccomended by waitress and then they ended up coming back and saying they where out of coconut puree. So I changed to a blujito. It was good but very very very minty. For appetizers I ordered the muscles and they were good. I probably would not order them again. For entree i got the Grouper which i had never had and I thought it was really good! The wife did the fish and chips and the fish/breading was cooked amazing but... it had no flavor. So bland. If you didnt get starter sauce there would have been no flavor. Overall it was good food but I would not go out of my way to eat here. If you are close then it would be nice place to stop

Duval’s offers fresh seafood and exceptional service, making for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The meal was consistently satisfying—from the appetizer to the dessert. The mussels in cream sauce were particularly memorable, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. Service was attentive and professional throughout. The restaurant’s ambiance strikes a balance between upscale and relaxed, with a refined coastal atmosphere that enhances the overall experience.

We had an incredible meal at Duval's and I can't wait to return in the future! The team at Duval's was friendly and personable, and made every effort to ensure that we had a great experience, including a phone call the next day to ensure we were completely satisfied (we were!) We made reservations, and were in on a Friday evening. The restaurant and bar area were both busy but it never felt loud. The atmosphere is relaxed but very nice. Our server, McKenzie, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, knew all the answers to our questions, helped guide us through our dining experience perfectly. All of the food was really great - highlights from our table were the calamari and the grouper, the sides were great too - spinach and sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. All this was followed by the bread pudding (wow!) and the gluten free blueberry cheesecake. I have to say that I almost didn't order the GF blueberry cheesecake but i'm SO glad I did - the best GF dessert I've had in a long while! I highly recommend adding Duval's to your rotation of downtown restaurants, or trying it for a special occasion. We are so glad we did!

***Update: The manager Jonathan called me about 15 minute after I got up and left. He apologized and invited me to come back for a better experience. I had already went to a different restaurant nearby but agreed to come back on Sunday. This time was a completely different experience. My server Mackenzie was great. She was attentive and gave great recommendations. Jonathan stopped by my table a couple times to check in. I’m very happy this second time around. Plus the food was amazing. I highly recommend the seafood sampler. Thank you to Jonathan and Mackenzie for rectifying the issue. *** (Previous 1 star rating) I had a reservation at 6:30pm. Arrived a little early around 6:20 and was seated right away. After that three different servers ignored me for over 25 minutes. People were seated after me and quickly greeted. Even ordered appetizers and food had arrived. Still no one acknowledged me. I flagged a server down and asked if I could order a drink. He didn’t greet me at all and just asked if I had been assigned a server. After that I left. No need for my business. Just walked out at 6:45pm.

Wow such a great place for a nice relaxing lunch, cant wait to come back for dinner. We had amazing service! Ate outside since we brought our dog, and the lady serving us brought water in a bowl for our dog. So kind. The lunch specials where great. Since it was our first time we got to try a few things for variety. Best crab cakes weve ever had, shrimp po boy was amazing, and the lobster bisque delicious. First time having a po boy, and the sauce that was on it was sooo delicious including the sauce with the crab cakes. Such a chill nice area to eat outside. We will be back!

Located on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, Crab & Fin Restaurant has been a beloved fixture for over 40 years. Renowned for its fresh seafood, the restaurant flies in whole fish from around the world daily, offering a diverse menu that changes with the market. Whether it's simple pan-seared mahi-mahi or steamed stone crab claws, Gulf treasures are presented with finesse. The restaurant also boasts an impressive raw bar and sidewalk tables perfect for people-watching.
They deserve 5 stars! We got here within 30 minutes of closing and they delivered top notch service, as if we were VIP. We sat outside under some beautifully lit trees. Barbara was our server and she was excellent confirming our selections. The manager she was delightful as well. Very lovely place. We’re excited to come back and dine in to try more menu items. Octopus was THE BEST I’ve had! The tuna app was TOP NOTCH!! The ceviche was unlike any I’ve had. We drank the cup empty.

This restaurant has one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was very nice, I recommend the Half Pound Angus Burger, it was very juicy and flavorful with the tomato, lettuce, onions, and a pickle as the side. The Lobster Bisk was also very nice. Excellent service as well, I would recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us.

The best restaurant on the circle! So many amazing dishes to choose from and they never disappoint. Love the live music and the great servers. Best menu item is actually a lunch-only options: Blue Crab + Jumbo Shrimp Quesadilla.

Crab & Fin Restaurant in the heart of St. Armands Circle is an absolute gem! The food is phenomenal, with their daily fresh catch of the day stealing the show—always perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The outdoor seating area offers a front-row seat to the vibrant energy of the Circle, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. The lively vibe, combined with top-notch service and a menu that celebrates seafood and one of the best cheeseburgers, makes this a must-visit spot in Sarasota. Whether you're a local or just passing through Lido Key, Crab & Fin delivers a dining experience that’s as fresh as it is delightful!

The food was amazing! I loved that they start you with a fish spread. The octopus and Cesar salad were good. We came for the stone crab and it did not disappoint. We didn't have reservations so we were sat in an awkward side room, so I would recommend them for a better atmosphere.

The Old Salty Dog is a British-style pub located in various prime spots, including Sarasota's City Island and Lido Key. It offers a picturesque view of the bay and provides a relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy live music while indulging in beer-battered hot dogs, fish n chips, grouper sandwiches, and their famous plump and juicy chicken wings tossed in Old Bay Hot Sauce.
The restaurant is right on the water. You cannot beat the view! It had a local vibe, which we love since we're true Floridians. The food was fresh and delish! We had the grouper, blackened, sandwich and the Captain seafood platter. We also enjoyed some nice cold beverages: ice tea and a local beer. Enjoy!

This was one of the best restaurants we ate at. Everything was great. The food was above average!! The Service was fantastic!! Several of the workers stopped and talked to us. We set on the deck overlooking the water. This is a must if you are near the area. The sunset on the water is a must see.

What an incredible meal! The Old Salty Dog is always a must-visit whenever we're in Florida, and this trip was no exception. We finally tried the loaded Old Salty Dog, and I deeply regret not ordering it sooner. It absolutely lives up to the hype and is a game-changer. The atmosphere was perfect. We sat right by the water, which made for a beautiful and relaxing experience. The kids had a blast too, enjoying their meals along with a delicious strawberry smoothie. They also loved the freebie that came with their food and were so excited to take it home. On top of that, the peel and eat shrimp were out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We'll be back again and again!

We had a stunning lunch here. Everything was super fresh and crisp. Neat lobster roll I’ve had in a long time and their sweet potato fries were delicious. Service was friendly and super attentive. Robbie was so sweet and great at serving us. We saw a manatee swimming right by us and lots of fish, jelly fish and dolphins in the distance. Amazing location for the perfect relaxing lunch on the water.
Lesley G — Google review
We absolutely love this Old Salty Dog location near St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. The restaurant is waterfront and right next to a marina/boat yard and marine center. There are always boats being launched, refueling, or just cruising by. On a sunny day, it is a perfect waterfront spot in Sarasota to boat watch. The Pelicans are always swooping for fish and putting on a show for restaurant guests. You can also occasionally see jelly fish, we just saw a couple hundred swimming by on our last visit. Rain or shine, Old Salty Dog is always worth a visit. The patio gets the perfect amount of sun on a sunny day with light sun shades, a gulf breeze, and the perfect sunset back drop. On rainy days, you might have to wait a minute for an inside table or seat at the bar because they stay busy, but it is worth the wait. As the name implies, they are known for their deep fried hot dogs and dog bites which are always a favorite. The burgers also hit the spot for a change up and the seafood doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a frozen drink on a hot day, a delicious rum runner, or just a beer they have something for everyone. The parking lot gets full pretty quick with limited spaces while they are working on the building next door, but additional lots are across the street and a short 2 minute walk. We’d highly recommend Old Salty Dog for a casual waterfront restaurant in Sarasota with good food, good drinks, and the ability to come in your swim suit by boat or car.
Jay T — Google review
You cannot beat food right by the water. We both enjoyed a grouper sandwich, mine was blackened. My wife's was fried in a tempura like beer batter. Both were absolutely delicious, shared some regular fries and some sweet potato fries. The service was quick, there were a couple of local beers on tap. And whatever you do, do not skip the key lime pie!
Scott S — Google review
If you want the beach vibe while eating dinner this is the place for it. If you imagine having a drink with the weather breeze blowing on you then look no further. Sitting there while a boat floats by, a pelican lands 10 ft from you, and seeing a rainbow was amazing. The food wasn't amazing, but the atmosphere makes up for it. I got a hamburger and an order of the Salty dog nuggets. I had a wonderful time eating here.

After a day of apartment hunting we were hungry and The Old Salty Dog was right on our route and super convenient. We got some mozzarella sticks, burger with fries and the hotdog bites. Not super excited about the hog dog bites Sadly but we were so hungry it served a purpose. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect to end the day. I would love to stop back when I come back to the area.

Marina Jack is a popular seafood spot in downtown Sarasota, offering both upscale and casual dining experiences with beautiful waterfront views. The Blue Sunshine Patio provides diners with a scenic experience right on Sarasota Bay next to docked yachts, while the second floor dining room offers panoramic water views. The Deep Six Lounge also features outdoor seating for guests to enjoy lunch and dinner. The menu includes popular dishes such as grilled grouper, potato-crusted grouper, and baked oysters Rockefeller.
On Sunday we had lunch at Marina Jack before going to a movie. Everything was perfect. The Poke Bowl was fresh, delicious and did not contain rice like many restaurants use as filler. The best in the area in my opinion. The service was first rate; attentive, polite, upbeat, and fast. And, of course, the views were fantastic.
Bob P — Google review
My go-to place for my special occasions. The view from the dining room on the second floor is spectacular! And while the food is not, the service and the atmosphere are always top notch. Our waitperson, Robert, added a special dimension to our most recent experience : joyful, enthusiastic and always helpful and considerate. As pescatarians/vegetarians, we three have several dietary limitations, and Robert was on top of that, careful to inform us of any ingredients that might be a problem for any of us. The food is okay, not nearly as spectacular as the view, however. Marina Jack makes you feel welcome and valued as a customer. I appreciated the email after we got home, but I would have appreciated it more, if it contained a link to this feedback page. Just a little thing.

Absolutely loved our experience at Marina Jack! The food was delicious! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was grilled to perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of char! The fries were equally impressive — soft and fluffy on the inside with a perfectly crispy crunch on the outside. The views were absolutely impeccable. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Stopped by for a 1st visit. Our waiter Matt was spot on with good suggestions, service and a friendly personality. We ordered the grouper sandwich and Thai chx sliders. Both delicious. We sat inside by the windows but there are two outside dining areas. This looks like a fun place to come with family or friends. They have banquet facilities upstairs. Great marina views. Would come again for sure!

The food was very delicious and fresh. The staff was very attentive and I really enjoyed being surrounded by yachts. There are some seagulls around, but they are easily distracted and you can shoo them away. It is a little pricey, but is worth with the atmosphere.

We just spent 4 nights at the new Transient Docks, what a fantastic stay!!! Due to a front, we had to delay our planned arrival by several days, the staff was very accommodating and moved our reservation to our new requested dates. Upon approach to the marina we were quickly given our slip assignment and met at the slip by one of the dock hands, Drew. He was extremely helpful with the lines and even hooked up our shore power! The icing on the cake was when Savannah Biggert, Assistant General Manager, showed up with a bouquet of flowers and a Happy Anniversary card. I had mentioned to Savannah that we were coming down to celebrate our anniversary when we had made reservations a couple weeks before. She truly sets the bar high!! We absolutely recommend Marina Jack and will certainly be back!!! Scott and Mary Wheeler MV Salt Wife

New Pass Grill & Bait Shop is a charming establishment located on City Island near Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota. Despite its appearance as a small bait shop, it offers a full menu of classic American dishes such as hot dogs and hamburgers. The place has been serving locals and visitors for almost 100 years, exuding Old Florida charm with its casual and family-friendly atmosphere.
Super cool place. Eat right on the water with a great view. Food came fast and hot. Staff was friendly. Everyone liked what they got. I forgot to take pictures of the food, but I loved the clam strip basket. Others said the Burger and fries were excellent. My kid said his grilled cheese was very good. While eating we watched fish, birds and a dolphin swim by. There is also a nice little bait shop and souvenir store. I highly recommend this awesome little place!

Location, Location, Location. That is the best thing about New Pass Grill. Located with a view of Sarasota Bay the view sitting and eating is one surely you do not want to miss. However, it is best to sit with a beer and enjoy the water without eating. While they give you a generous amount of fries the burger was not very good. I ordered the angus burger but I highly doubt that was what I was given because it did not taste anything like I expect an angus burger to taste like. The fish my wife ordered also did not have much flavor, instead just having a battery taste. Sitting with a beer is your best option here, but be forewarned their beer prices are quite high.

I always have an amazing time here. It's very laid back and PERFECT for those bright sunny beautiful Florida days. 🔆🌊 I had a quick lunch with some family here and it was GORGEOUS. Fantastic low key waterside restaurant. You can sit on the dock while waiting for your food. Outdoor tables by the dock are great. Beer is priced cheap and their chicken sandwich is amazing. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Great for families with kids or just adults. Edit: Two years later my family is still coming here. Even after multiple hurricane strikes this place has rebuilt with a new dock and waterside seating. A bit pricey but worth it.

Always a little rude here and food rings up a different price than what’s on the menu and when confronted they acknowledged and said they are aware and smiled. They have good food, but their customer interaction is poor and the prices are dishonest.

With locations in Knoxville, Huntsville, Fort Myers, and Sarasota, it has become a go-to destination for those seeking aged steaks and fresh seafood prepared over mesquite wood grills. The restaurant's intimate feel makes it perfect for small gatherings or couples looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
My finance and I took a trip down here before our wedding to destress and we decided to go to Connor’s because it looked like great quality food that wouldn’t break the bank. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. It was gorgeous inside!!! Our server Mandy was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu! She made great conversation! She was so sweet! The food was amazing! So happy we decided to come here!

This is a great place to celebrate special events or have a nice date night. The booths and tables are nicely spaced out for privacy and the lighting is low, but still bright. Service was quick and friendly. Our server came back to check on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. I got the grouper which was delicious and very filling. The creamed spinach was wonderful as well. The fried calamari was cooked perfectly, still tender, but with crisp breading.

We dined at Connor’s Steakhouse in Sarasota tonight with our two children to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Our server, Kelly, was exceptional, providing service marked by unparalleled attentiveness, warmth, and precision. Her ability to anticipate our needs and create a welcoming atmosphere elevated our special evening to new heights. The manager further enhanced our experience by personally stopping by our table to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, a thoughtful and gracious gesture that underscored the restaurant’s commitment to guest satisfaction. This personal touch made us feel truly valued. The food at Connor’s was absolutely phenomenal. The steak, without question the finest in Sarasota, was prepared with masterful skill, delivering unmatched flavor and tenderness. Every dish we enjoyed showcased the restaurant’s dedication to culinary excellence, making this the most memorable meal we’ve ever had. My experience at Connor’s was a disappointment. The food was just okay, nothing to rave about compared to the many other steakhouses I have experienced. Although, I will say, the Korean style bbq ribs was probably the highlight of the night. I thought the service was below par as well. Our waiter seemed to forget about us for most parts of our dinner. We went on a Sunday night and it was not busy at all.

I ordered the shrimp cocktail and was very disappointed. The shrimp didn’t look or taste fresh, and the presentation was sloppy for a restaurant of this level. I politely asked for a replacement, but the second plate was just as bad. Honestly, I’ve had better shrimp from Costco. For the price and reputation, I expected much higher quality and care for customers.

The restaurant prides itself on providing high-quality dining experiences for guests in a traditional setting. In addition to the restaurant, there is an attached seafood market where both local and internationally sourced fresh seafood are available.
I'm visiting Sarasota area from Ohio, and wanted some good seafood. Glad I chose Captain Brian's. I had the seafood platter~ it was all delicious! The shrimp were absolutely incredible! The crab cake too. Prices are typical for seafood. Place was busy, but service was good. Pleasant waitress. If you're in the area, try it!

We ate dinner at Captain Brian’s last week. We met our friends there. I had the Ipswich Whole Bellied Fried Clams they came with potato wedges and cole slaw. Though my clams tasted good they were room temperature even though the potatoes were warm. My husband had the Fish and Chips again though tasty the fish was room temperature it also came with warm potato wedges and cole slaw. One of our friends got the Lobster Special which she said it was very good along with a side of mashed potatoes. Lastly her husband had the Char, which he said was between a white fish and a salmon and was delicious. The Char came with potato wedges and cole slaw.

Greeted at the door, shown to our huge booth with a ton of legroom and table so we weren't elbow to elbow. Water all around and a pint for Ma after two minutes. Generous portions. Swordfish was grilled PERFECTLY: juicy, excellent grill marks and warm till the end. If Brian's simply switches out the cool-white Kelvins Leds for warmer tones, this would really off set the whole dining area. First visit and I'll be back. Excellent swordfish there Gustafson.

My girlfriend and I were driving down 41 when we saw a sign that said Maine lobsters, $20 each, dine in only. We were both familiar with Capt. Brian’s because that’s our go to spot for seafood when we’re flying out of town. We also love their stone crab during season. As soon as we walked in, we were seated by a nice gentleman that took our drink orders. Then we were introduced to the lovely Maria who was our server. The lobsters were so good that I ate two. Great service, nice atmosphere, perfectly cooked seafood and all at a great value.

I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. The food is good no matter what you choose from the menu. Staff is always really nice so you can ask them about anything and they can describe the dish to you. There is a weight because everybody knows how good this place is. So either come early or just know that you're going to have to wait. If you haven't been I would recommend it.
Marie C — Google review
The food tastes really good. The service was pleasant and professional. These are the two reasons I give 3stars. But the portions are unbelievably and extremely too small for the astronomical price. Even where most places try and fill you up with the side dishes, here, they aren’t even attempting that. The slaw and potato salad come in tiny dishes that MIGHT equal 1/3 cup. My wife and I left hungry and on our way to find a good dessert some place else after paying a bill of $50 for LUNCH here. I’m afraid from now on I will skip this place from now on. Anna Marie Oyster Bar you will get more food for less money. Oh, and no veteran discount here.

Morton's Gourmet Market is a family-owned market with a wide selection of gourmet groceries, prepared meals, and takeout. The store is located on Siesta Key and has outdoor seating as well as wheelchair accessibility.
I often stop here in the mornings for my coffee. They have a great bakery as well. Staff is always friendly and warm welcoming seating area outside.

Really unique market concept in a great location. They have catering and special orders, a coffee and bakery section, and then tons of more traditional spaces like produce, packaged crackers, candy and chocolate, and then a ton of prepared foods, cheeses and quick pick up type items that would be great for meals.

I ordered a birthday cake to feed over 40 people and I just wanted to say that Amanda and Kristy and the Bakery are phenomenal. The cake was fresh and perfect. I got a custom cake made. I called several other bakeries and they were all frozen which is not my idea of a good cake for My Son I just wanna thank Kristy and Amanda for doing a fantastic job. I wish I can give you guys 10 stars. I love the cake everybody love the cake. It was custom made into a guitar so perfect for a 19-year-old love it thank you very much.

I used to really enjoy buying pastries from Morton’s Market Bakery, especially the whole berry tart, it was always fresh and delicious. Today I stopped by to get one, and unfortunately, it wasn’t what I was expecting. The price has gone up significantly, which I understand, but the bigger disappointment for me was the quality. It’s just not the same as it used to be, and that makes me very upset because the bakery used to be excellent. I was really disappointed this time.

Absolutely an amazing experience with more than you can imagine at a food venue! Stone oven pizza along with other food items..... pre-prepared meals.....fresh seafood and meats..... gourmet canned items....fresh pasta....need I go on.... Haven't even mentioned the spectacular bakery! .

We had the absolute best experience with Morton’s and are so happy we found them. They did catering for a wedding boat ride/reception we did and everything was fantastic & displayed so beautifully. Everyone raved about the food (the bruschetta was a particularly big hit). Brett helped us pick out food platters and gave suggestions for the right amount of food for our group and was kind and so helpful. Elizabeth in the bakery helped us plan our wedding cake and it was insanely delicious. It was the best cake we’ve ever had. I’m so happy with every single thing we had!! Thank you!

Don't visit Morton's as frequently as I used to but I did visit yesterday. Purchased Chef's pre-cooked salmon filet. Got home and shockingly...no cooking instructions. How hard is it to put instructions on the damned label Morton's?

Nestled in a cozy corner of Sarasota, Shakespeare's Craft Beer and Gastro Pub is a delightful homage to traditional English taverns, brought to life by owners Marilyn and Dick Neal. For nearly 18 years, this charming spot has been a go-to for burger enthusiasts and craft beer lovers alike. The menu boasts an impressive array of specialty burgers crafted from eight ounces of premium Black Angus beef, each cooked to perfection with a juicy pink center encased in a beautifully seasoned char.
Love the pub atmosphere and the food even more! Thoroughly enjoyed the blue cheese chips app and the British burger. If you can't tell, so roll on blue cheese! Good beer selection and some craft on rotation. Excited to come back

The food was amazing! My friend had a British burger and fries. My daughter had a build your own burger and fries, and I had a blackend chicken teaser salad. We all loved what we got. The serving size was enough to take half home each. The price was right!
Shannon B — Google review
A really fun place to stop in for beer and food. They have a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches. We stuck with the more traditional entrees ordering fish n' chips, pasties, and sausage rolls. Everything tasted great, and we had food to take home.
Joe P — Google review
It is around 2:30 PM. I came to try the English fish and Chips. The meal is delicious. The batter is spot on. The chips have great flavor. All that is missing is the meal being served in newspaper. The pub serves great portions. The interior is dark due to the burgundy walls and the black ceiling, and it faces northeast. There are a couple of tables out front, but wouldn't use in the summertime. Accessibility is possible for wheelchairs. It is a neighborhood pub, so the space is small.
J W — Google review
I’ve been going here for over 17 years and it never disappoints! The staff and owner are all so friendly, and the food is great. I only give four stars because I prefer to eat vegan when the options are desirable, and the option here is basically your average black bean patty. It would be amazing if they had a better vegan item like shepherds pie or veggie bangers and mash. Otherwise, they have very delicious things if you can eat cheese! All my family and friends also love the meat shepherds pie, burgers, fish and chips and of course beer cheese appetizer!

Soooooooo good. I took pictures of the decorations but not the food. Didn't last long enough on the table to get the photos.

This has been a favorite of mine for years! The food is consistent, always good and prices are fair! The beer cheese dip has been a favorite for 20 years!

The best place I’ve ever ate or drank at in Florida. I’ve been here for 8 years and have had the worst service and food experience ever where I’ve gone. This place has the friendliest servers/bartenders. THE BEST BURGERS!! And it’s family own. What more could you ask for. You have try the beer cheese dip! it’s actually done correctly. Just overall the best experience I’ve had in all of Florida

Siam Gulf Sarasota is a unique restaurant that offers both Japanese and Thai cuisine, providing an unforgettable experience as you watch your food being prepared. The restaurant's interior design creates a natural ambiance, enhancing the dining experience. Customers praise the delicious food, including sushi and traditional Thai dishes like papaya salad and mango with sticky rice. The restaurant also serves Thai tea, adding to its appeal.
There were 14 adults and a 2 year old that visited this place. It was a new place for me. Our waitress was great at leading us newbies through the menus and helping us pick out our meals. The food did not come out all at ounce, but it wasn't a long time from the first meal to the last meal out. Some had appetizers that came first, and then the meals started to come out. I would call that good service under the conditions. The dining area was very pleasant and clean. It looked nice to my eyes. There was plenty of parking in the shopping center parking lot. I'd go back if I didn't live in PA.

The BEST restaurant in Sarasota for sushi, Thai, and more! The salmon avocado hand rolls are huge, delicious, fresh and beautiful. The fresh rolls are fantastic with delicious dipping sauces—it comes with a peanut sauce and a sweet & sour sauce. We love having the options. The massaman curry is super yummy with lots of veggies and generous portions. It could easily feed 2 grown adults. And don’t leave without trying their made-in-house coconut ice cream. It’s phenomenal. The service is beyond reproach—everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and they have a passion for the quality of their food, which i appreciate. Service is fantastic and accommodating. The interior is really cute…spacious (definitely accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, etc), and well decorated without being too fussy or stuffy. I love how they decorate for holidays—it makes it fun and festive. Family, date night, group and single-diner friendly. Everyone can feel comfortable here. This is our go-to spot…it’s hard to choose another place when we are picking a dining option. Siam Gulf never disappoints!

Always a great experience. Amazing service and even better crab rangoons! Seriously they are the best in town, full of flavor unlike your ordinary crab Rangoon. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried, food always comes out hot and fresh. Try the baby octopus salad you won’t regret it!

Won’t return. We saw this one on our dinner at Mariscos Azteca Mexican. A L shaped restaurant, that serves Japanese and SE Asian cuisine. Quiet on a Sunday evening. Two pleasant young women (both with long pony tails) work the room. Service is so so: trying for good five minutes to tell the server (seeing her come and go) that the Pinot noir turned; my cab is ok. “How old is this bottle?” She said, “normally is less than a week.” Oh well. Their stems are not bad. Two little kids, a boy and a girl are behind the bar counter. I’ve mixed feelings for kids in a work place … Foods are fine: Thai lettuce Wrap - minced pork on the sweet side; have to ask for spicy sauce Sashimi style dinner - ok Spicy tuna roll - something crunchy which makes the roll interesting A Caucasian man comes and goes in the bar counter, sporting ‘vineyard vines’ t shirt . I’m between foods, so I googled it: not a vineyard but a clothing store. Oh well, just learnt one more thing today: thanks. Bathroom door lock - push in.
Irene E — Google review
Great sushi and rolls… don’t hesitate to give it a try. We were there when there was only one sushi chef working so it took a little longer than usual, but the quality for price far outweighs the extra few min wait.

I’m so glad my husband and I found this place! The food was amazing! The ingredients were fresh and provided just the right amount of spice. Generous portions. The waitress was attentive and the food came out fast. The atmosphere is relaxing and very well decorated. Very clean. We will be back soon.

You'll find different ambience when you enter to this place. I like how they design their interior. I can feels the nature even tho there wasn't much or any plants. The food was good! We ordered chicken teriyaki, sushi phi phi island and papaya salad. Everything was good! They make sushi a bit different. I feel like eating rice cake with toppings. I like their papaya salad, be careful it is spicy!! I would definitely come back to try different food here. Their sushi looks very tempting! They

This is the best Thai food in town. I've been going to this place since they opened a few years ago and I love the food. Service is always good, everyone is super friendly. The owners are really nice people and they always welcome you with a big smile. You must try the lettuce wrap and the little siam roll.

Barnacle Bill's Seafood is a popular spot in Sarasota, Florida, known for its American-style fish and shellfish dishes. The restaurant also operates as a seafood market, allowing guests to select their own ingredients for cooking or purchase items to take home. The menu features a fresh catch of the day served in platters, as well as meat and surf and turf options.
Quite honestly the best blackened Mahi Mahi I have ever had. Wife and I came here from the East coast of Florida and are thoroughly impressed with Barnacle Bill's! Super clean, incredibly tasty, flaky deliciousness. Their dinner for 2 deal is definitely worth it. The portion size is beyond expectation for the price. 5/5 stars, definitely will return. (Gulf Coast Shrimp Pasta Milano also pictured and out of this world good)

Food was absolutely amazing like always. But then when. My 900$ phone was stolen off my table, the wait staff had a few stories. At first was told yes the cameras work . When I asked if they could check them I was told that the manager did not have access to them. So I asked for the police to be called. the wait staff tells the police another story that the cameras do not work. Like get your stories straight! What is interesting is their different accounts of what happened. Was not happy camper to be treated poorly there..The waiter didn't even care! And told many different versions! On top of all this is was my birthday dinner that ended at 8:30. I was there until 10 pm. After giving up to return next day, I get a phone call saying it was "found" Great food! Horrible Staff! Will not return to a place that Rob's people!

I entered the restaurant and it was nearly empty. A waitresses/hostess greeted me and said she would seat me momentarily. I was given a table and a menu and I found the prices to be ridiculously overpriced. Even simple inexpensive meals like a fish sandwich were listed for $14.00 + dollars. Although it was very slow, I waited for what I can measure was 10-15 minutes for service. I left before I was offered a beverage. As I walked out, the employee mentioned earlier, frowned and said '"you leaving." I said yes and left. The decor seemed nice, the location was good, and I can imagine the food was alright; however, the prices and poor service left a bad impression. Overall, it might be a nice place to dine.

Great restaurant! I would suggest going for the early bird special, (4:00-5:30) for a GREAT list of entrees for a GREAT price.($12.99)! Like mussels and pasta, salmon, strip steaks! And a great deal on alcoholic beverages. We had a lovely waitress, Danielle, who served our needs well. Definitely would recommend, and at a great location, Main Street!
Aisling N — Google review
Very overpriced basic seafood fare. Tourist trap serving "grouper" to people who don't know any better. It certainly wasn't grouper. Having veggie instead of French fry isn't an option. Mashed potatoes had the consistency and taste of instant potato. The prices for entrees were not indicative of the quality received. Happy hour booze was good though. That's the only reason it's not 1 star. The food and cleanliness was laughable. Forgot to mention the dirty silverware.
Steven B — Google review
Excellent food; selections are varied enough to appeal to most appetites; pricing is well matched to quality. The staff are dedicated to making everyone enjoy their experience and go well above and beyond expectations to ensure that customers leave with full stomachs and happy faces. We stopped in (unplanned) for dinner and were glad we chose BBS. They made adjustments and amendments to regular menu items to provide a safe, gluten-free meal for my daughter. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

The Ringling Beach House, located in Siesta Key, is a Spanish hacienda-style building offering modern amenities and two pools. Situated steps away from the beautiful Siesta Key Beach, this Mediterranean apartment provides a relaxing retreat with its old Florida Spanish architecture and quiet gazebos. The hotel features 12 individually decorated guestrooms with fully-equipped kitchens and offers complimentary beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas for guests to enjoy the powdery white sands.
Stayed in the Dancing Bear unit a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't completely sure what to expect but those expectations were well exceeded and we loved our stay. Very accommodating staff and good communication. Footsteps from beach access and an easy walk to the restaurants and bars. Spacious unit; clean; everything you'd need to spend a few days or more. Each from having a beach cart with chairs and an umbrella was an extra nice touch. Will definitely be returning!

We can’t say enough positive things about our stay. The location was perfect, unit was so spacious and clean and everyone was so accommodating. The condo was also within a 2 minute walk of all bars and shops. We can’t wait to be back. And a HUGE thank you to Jeremiah who went above and beyond for us during our stay!! He was fantastic.

The house was very cozy. It was on a shared property along with other units. There was a pool onsite too! When the weather is cool they heat the pool, so it's always the perfect temperature. Although it had a great atmosphere, the carpet had pet hair on it, and my mom is allergic to cats, so there must have been cat hair on the carpet because she couldn't stop sneezing. It was right across from the beach, but didn't have an ocean view. My family woke up to be stuck in the room. We had to call the owners, who came right away, because the door's lock was stuck. Fortunately they replaced the lock and we got out, just in time for a perfect day at the beach. Overall, the place had a great atmosphere and deserves 4 stars. I recommend staying here.
Jamie L — Google review
Great location. The staff was helpful and polite. We stood at the "Comfort Apartment". The condo had ample space. The bed was comfortable. Some parts of the condo were a little dated. The refrigerator had rust on the front, although it worked and had an ice maker! The kitchen sink had weird handle that set in between the garbage disposal and the actual sink. Which made it difficult to wash dishes. There were random items stored in the closets. The buttons on the tv remote looked to be cut off, so that should be replaced. 5 min walk to the beach. 5 min walk to restaurants/bars. Overall, it was a good stay.

Absolutely Perfect Beach Stay! Just spent 5 amazing days at the Ringling Beach House and I cannot say enough good things! The property was immaculate, super clean, and incredibly convenient—just steps from the beach. We stayed in the Ringmaster Room, which was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the perfect beach vacation. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Susan, the manager. She is an absolute gem—so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home. We were blown away by how thoughtfully stocked everything was—coolers, wagons, umbrellas, beach chairs, toys—you name it, they had it ready for us. It made going to the beach so easy and stress-free. I seriously LOVE this place and can't wait to come back. Huge thanks to Susan and the team for making our trip so wonderful. Highly recommend the Ringling Beach House to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

We had a BLAST staying in the VILLA at Ringling Beach House. All 12 of us were very comfortable. The property is close to beach access and a short walk from Siesta Village. Everything was clean and our host Roberto was awesome with accommodations. There were plenty of chairs and beach gear there, and carts to lug everything in, which was a game changer. We will 100% be back to book the VILLA again. Pricing is great!
Jennifer H — Google review
Lion room upon leaving had a cockroach. The hotel was still under construction, even though all the other hotels around it were up and going. During the day the pool was never cleaned. Stayed here previously last year and it was perfect, but it seems that it went downhill. Before going this time, I had two plans tripped one in May and one in October. The October trip our flights were changed. I thought the hotel would be more accommodating but because we used booking.com. They refuse to give us any money back, even though their policy on their website is seven days before planned trip . Tried canceling months in advance and they’re keeping the full price of the rooms that was paid over $600 . Do not use booking.com because The property doesn’t agree with booking.com even though they obviously have a standing contract with them. I even offered to pay for one night if they can refund my money seeing it’s in October that we’re traveling. Ringling Brothers does not want to work with their customers and I’ve gone downhill.” Make sure you bring your own toiletries too because another person staying there was getting a hard time getting more than one toilet paper. Bring your own beach chair, chairs, two to stand by the pool because none of that was out either.
Krystal C — Google review
We have been traveling to Siesta Key for several years and have stayed in several different beach condos with various property management companies. We have had nothing but exceptional amenities and hospitality on each of our trips, but that was not the case with The Ringling Beach House. We stayed in the Tiger apartment, which sleeps four. The apartment lacked essential supplies such as adequate towels, dish and hand soap, toliet paper, and trash bags. When we asked for additional towels for the four of us staying, we were refused extras and informed the policy was one towel per person only to be changed out after three days. We were also only provided with a roll and a half of toliet paper, and never provided additional rolls despite having requested it, such that we had to purchase our own. The kitchen was not stocked with any dish towels or soap, and only one trash bag was provided. The most disappointing part was the fact that the beach equipment was insufficient and in poor condition. The limited chairs available were rusty, broken, and not even beach chairs, but rather foldable camp chairs. There were also limited beach umbrellas and wagons available, all of which were rusty and unusable. You may consider having an up-to-date tetanus shot if you decide to stay here and use the so-called beach amenities. Overall, the provided amenities completely failed to live up to what is advertised on the website and communicated in booking emails. We will never stay here again under under this current ownership, and I would not recommend The Ringling Beach House as there are several others accomodations on Siesta Key that provide adequate, quality amentities for their guests
