I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shore, a seafood restaurant located in the beautiful Lido Beach area of Sarasota. The experience was nothing short of amazing and spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the service was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and efficient, making us feel truly welcome. For my main course, I enjoyed the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. It was an exquisite dish, perfectly creamy with a delightful citrusy freshness that complemented the seafood wonderfully. The addition of spinach and heirloom tomatoes provided a vibrant and fresh touch that elevated the overall flavor profile. My wife opted for the Beluga Black Lentil Ragout, and she was equally impressed. The dish was simply phenomenal, bursting with rich, hearty flavors that made each bite a joy. We also shared a large side of truffle fries, which were an absolute delight. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, with the delicious taste of truffle and Parmesan adding an indulgent twist to this classic side. Overall, our dining experience at Shore was exceptional. The food was superb, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be returning one day to relive this memorable culinary experience.

We ordered the roasted beet and goat cheese salad, the meatloaf, grilled snapper, shrimp/scallops with lemon risotto, fried chicken, and for the grandkids, they had the ribs and sliders. The salad needed more goat cheese but it was a challenge to get any additional. The goat cheese was wrapped in pistachios and was very good but it just needed more of it. There were way too many beets and disproportional to the cheese. The meatloaf was very different to anything we have had before but quite flavorful. Every so often we got the flavor of something spicy. It was a large portion and a great presentation! The fried chicken was cooked perfectly. The shrimp and scallops were okay to good. I didn’t get a lot of flavor from them but the lemon risotto was good. The snapper was on the dry side and was just “okay.” The kids food was okay as well. The service was good. I recommend the restaurant and we will return.

We enjoyed a lovely meal and loved the ambiance. Eating outside yet feeling away from the elements was perfect on this sunny Florida day. We were able to enjoy hot entrees and ice cold drinks comfortably. Our food was delicious 😋 Our service was great and the hostesses were super pleasant and informative.

This place was absolutely amazing!! We started with the calamari and it sure did not disappoint. It came in a salad style and it was absolutely delicious. The misses got the shrimp and scallops which was a good portion and very tasty. I got the grouper and boy what a treat it was. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience from the service, timing of food coming out, quality of the food and just everything!! I will definitely be back to this place. A+++++

Cute, tasty and fun place for a dinner! We had Hayden as our waitress and she was super nice! For the appetizer, we ordered the crab cake which was pretty good! It had a super tasty sauce on top! For my main course, I ordered the shrimp & scallops which came with risotto and that was amazing!! I ordered the 1908 for my cocktail and thought it was a bit flavorless but thought it was a super cute color! All around, I would go again, especially at sunset because they have an amazing view from the rooftop patio!

Shore is a must stop shop and dine. Love their clothing and we love to eat/drink upstairs. Maybe shop first before having cocktails ;-). Food is always fresh and so good. Cocktail options are amazingly crafted and very unique in their own way. The LOBSTER, SHRIMP & CRAB COBB SALAD is just WOW....if you enjoy seafood GET THIS! My wife and I now split it as it is HUGE! I am also obsessed with their truffle fries which is always a nice side. Bee Keeper cocktail is my favorite "dessert" cocktail to enjoy after dinner and I love their old fashioneds as they have a very good bourbon/rye selection. Awesome outdoor or indoor seating, just make your way up the stairs before walking into the retail store or take the elevator if you are in need of some assistance. Try this place, you'll thank me :-)

Good food, ambiance and location. Server was attentive and checked in often. Burger had hardly any jam and could have used more flavor. Espresso tart was okay but could have been better. Ceviche and guacamole with chips was good but ceviche was watery and lacking flavor.

This was our first time trying this place and it was absolutely terrible. This was a delivery order. They mixed sauces with the chicken parmigiana- red sauce on the chicken and a cream sauce on the pasta below it - it seemed they were to lazy to prepare pasta with the marinara sauce and just threw some of the pasta from the chicken with vodka sauce entree under the chicken parm entree. The salad was small and pretty pathetic for nearly $8.00. The 3 cannoli were the size of my pinky finger with a nice presentation but not so tasty. I was honestly expecting more with the reviews. Horrible experience and waste of $104.00 (pre-tip)

Great Italian food in Sarasota with inside or outside seating. My chicken piccata was absolutely delicious. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend. There is metered parking along Palm Avenue.

Sooo Caragiulo’s Italian American was on my list for our Sarasota visit and I’m glad we went. I love some good Italian food, and they did not disappoint. The restaurant had that classic Italian vibe, but the real star was the food. Everything was flavorful without feeling too heavy, and we left happy and full. If you’re in the area, definitely add this spot to your list. What was ordered: Lasagna Al Forno = light yet filling

This was the first restaurant I tried down here in Sarasota and what a great start it was! For appetizers, we started with some really solid wedding soup and the very earthy yet rich avocado bruschetta. The entrees were also delicious. My parents had a three-topping pizza which was absolutely phenomenal. The cheese was super creamy and the crust had a nice brick oven crunch. I got a calzone, which was stuffed with ricotta cheese and pepperoni, and it was totally amazing, especially with its crispy, perfectly cooked dough. The restaurant had an intimate Italian atmosphere and Rebecca, our server, was super nice. Definitely a great spot for Italian-American eats!

Was visiting Venice and made the trip down to Sarasota to dine here. Excellent meal and service. Portions were generous and loved the ambience. Will definitely be back and can’t recommend enough!

Great BOGO deal! Our server was great and the lasagna was delish! We also appreciate the convenience of including the gratuity calculating the pre-discount total on our bill and I’m sure the server is appreciative of this as well. We had been there before taking advantage of this summer/anniversary deal and based our tip on the pre discount total before you automated this. Smart move and we are looking forward to seeing you at your new location soon!

Love the cozy atmosphere - we always try to sit at a table in the bar, so arriving early ensures success there! We’ve been enjoying the September anniversary celebration! Limited menu, but BOGO for 36¢ - how can you beat that deal?!?! Last week, I ordered Pizza Da Vinci - excellent, with sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms - and hubby ordered spaghetti with a meatball and sausage - delicious! Even the wine (select options) is BOGO for 36¢! Last night, he ordered the lasagna, tasty and beautifully presented. I chose the ravioli al fresco - so tender, light, and delicious! (Unfortunately, the only photo i have is of the lasagna!) Sad that Caragiulos is moving to a new location after all these years! Even sadder is the likely fate of the historic building in which it calls home.

My wife and I recently dined at Station 400 for breakfast, drawn in by its downtown location and the positive buzz surrounding it. As part of NXTGEN Marketing Group, which has been in business since 2011 and has a former partnership with the Food Network, we pride ourselves on providing accurate and honest reviews that reach a very large audience—over 150,000 views a week, placing us in the top 10% on Google. While the atmosphere at Station 400 was inviting, and our waitress was wonderful—attentive and friendly—our food experience fell short of expectations. I ordered pancakes that were unfortunately dense and heavy, with an overwhelming flour taste that detracted from the enjoyment. My wife’s eggs were overcooked, lacking the light and fluffy texture we anticipated. On a positive note, the coffee was fantastic—rich and flavorful, and definitely a highlight of our meal. We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, and we sincerely hope that our experience is not reflective of the usual standard at Station 400. With a menu that likely offers many great options, we encourage others to give it a try. Our visit was just an unfortunate case, and we're hopeful that future diners will have a better experience. We may consider returning in the future to explore more of what they have to offer.

We enjoyed a Sunday brunch here with my family of 4 and grandpa. We ordered cappuccinos with almond milk (great coffee), orange juice for my kiddos and avocado toast w/hash browns (the guacamole wasn't the best), truffle eggs Benedict (really good dish) and bacon salted pancakes (portion of 3 was great for my youngest and couldn't finish it). We waited around 15 minutes to be seated (it was crowded), and then the service was a bit slow but our server was friendly and diligent (she had many tables to serve). The place is cozy and lively. We paid $100 (1 coffee, 1 orange juice, 3 cappuccinos, and 5 dishes) We'll definitely come back if we're around again.

Loved the train vibe in here! Our waitress was super nice & made us her favorite off the menu coffee which was delicious. We came for brunch with a group of 7 and were able to be seated right away. We shared the French toast bites to start & they were delicious. They have a wide variety of breakfast & lunch options. The waffle sausage comes with two & gave a sausage pancake on a stick vibe - in the best way. It was great. The hash browns were also nice & crispy! Everyone enjoyed, which is a win with a large group!

Traditional breakfast place with a cool interior. I was a little sad to see some of the items were no longer on the menu, but I got the avocado toast and it was tasty. I think I was given decaf coffee instead of regular bc even after two cups I didn’t feel anything. Still, it was a neat experience and a cool place to visit.

I like this place, especially for Breakfast. I’ve been here a number of times the consistency of food is very good. The atmosphere is great and here’s the meal I had.

Great brunch spot with lots of mimosa flavor options, breakfast food is exceptional. We ordered the Crabby Patty (crab cake breakfast with sauteed spinach) and the Steak & Eggs. For breakfast food especially, it was very flavorful with savory sauces. The atmosphere was nice, it was crowded but no wait time for indoor seating. Even the toast was nice- I got the cinnamon raisin with strawberry jam. Great quality breakfast food at low cost!

If you are looking for a great place to eat in St. Armands Key, Blu Kouzina is a cool, modern take on Greek, but they have traditional options too. I loved that they had the wooden board plates for the meat dishes. My husband ordered the moussaka, which came in its own baked bowl, like it was made to order, just for him. We tried several dishes from appetizers to main dishes- i had the chicken, which was essentially a full Cornish hen that was so succulent and tasty.

TOP MEDITERRANEAN!!!! This place is incredible! Everything we ordered was beyond amazing! My friend has severe gluten allergy and this restaurant has SO many options for her to choose from, she even had her first GF pita wrap, she was so excited. Wifey & I got the Lemonatto Lamb and grilled octopus and lemme tell ya each dish was a knockout. Flavors so divine they will burn in your memory, do yourself a favor.

Locals looking for a new spot - this was the best experience I have had in a very long time in Sarasota. The food , the service , the authenticity is unmatched . I have food restrictions and the entire crew was beyond accommodating . Our absolute new favorite place - every single dish we tried ( and we tried nearly everything - incredible

Authentic and Hopping. Make a reservation, this place is popular for all the right reasons. The food is carefully curated to bring forth a menu deserving for a Greek Restaurant. The service hustles, yet has the time to offer a recommendation. This is a top 3 place to eat in Sarasota. The atmosphere has that kind of buzz that somehow imparts that feeling that you have found somewhere special that only the locals know and they jealously cherish. Also, do not miss dessert.

Awesome place with delicious food. Fresh and very tasty. The waiters are very friendly and the place is very clean and organized. Been at this place matches with the vibe of Sarasota beaches, mixed with sophisticated meals.

Never fails to impress. This gem has elegance, atmosphere and food to die for. I walked out feeling like I was leaving Greece. This is a must stop when in Sarasota.

The ambiance and service at Lila were wonderful warm, inviting, and attentive. We really appreciated the chef’s effort to accommodate my request for a white cheese sauce with red sauce on the side. Unfortunately, the flavors didn’t quite meet our expectations. The red sauce lacked seasoning, and my husband felt the same about his soup. While we value the use of fresh, quality ingredients, the overall taste didn’t quite justify the high price point.

The vegan sushi here is truly amazing—some of the best I’ve had. The food overall is very good, and in the past when I dined in, I was very happy with both the service and the quality of the dishes. This time, I ordered takeout. I had checked the menu online and sent it to my wife so she could pick her order in advance. When I arrived in person to order, I was told that the item she chose was no longer on the menu. I mentioned that it was still listed on the website, and they acknowledged the website was outdated. It would really help to have the online menu kept current—it caused a bit of inconvenience, especially since I had to text my wife a photo of the current menu and then call her at work to finalize the order. I chose the Med Bowl, which sounded fantastic—and flavor-wise, it didn’t disappoint. The mix of almond falafel, quinoa, cabbage, zucchini, tomato, hummus, za’atar, tahini, and naan was well-balanced and delicious. However, the portion size was surprisingly small for $21. It came with just one small piece of naan cut into quarters and only two tiny pieces of falafel. (See photo) I expected at least four pieces, and even three would have felt light but oils not have propped this review. But two? That felt inadequate, especially considering the modest amounts of quinoa, hummus and zucchini. For the price, the portion didn’t deliver. We also tried the Macro Bowl, which was also tasty but similarly underwhelming in size for $20. On the upside, the blueberry cheesecake was delicious, though a bit pricey. Seeing as it is one of the few vegan deserts in town, I don’t mind as much. I’ll definitely return for the vegan sushi—it’s worth it. But I wouldn’t order one of the bowls again unless the portions improve.

Loooooove Lila’s!!! This is the perfect place for anyone of all food types from meat eaters to vegans to gluten free connoisseurs. From start to finish, every single dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. The flavors were exquisite, unique, one of a kind! I really liked the space- well lit, nice pictures of greenery and earthy tones. Felt like I was in a farm to table restaurant. The bread & crab cake starters were so good. There was a variety of sushi to choose from, all vegan and gluten free. Highly suggest the mushroom spider roll- crunchy, soft textures and the spicy mayo wasn’t too spicy. The Med bowl had some of the most tender chicken with a very smooth & creamy sauce, soft falafel with a light crunchy coating, & spiced hummus with naan bread. I really liked the iced berry tea, my parents loved the Malbec wine & Belgian ale. To seal the deal, we got the chocolate mousse cake which made everyone speechless- it was rich in chocolate while also light and a nice touch with the fresh raspberries to give your mouth a full firework experience. Liz our server was delightful. Extremely patient, helpful, gave us some great suggestions for what to order, & checked on us in the midst of a very busy night. I was visiting but I’ll definitely come back in town to check this place out again!!

Our lunch here exceeded expectations. The food was outstanding. Service was top-notch. Staff were welcoming. Lila is a great choice for those seeking locally sourced, organic, and clean food. Support Local!

Walked in for lunch, had the ravioli and roasted yams-they were served after the main dish and undercooked. Friend had burger, said it was ok. Service was just ok, not attentive.

We ate here this weekend Afternoon and they were not busy. we had the Caesar salad, The Mediterranean bowl, The homemade bread and a bison burger. The bison river was very good. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad and the bowl were not. The homemade bread was seven dollars and it tasted more like flour and water put together.I ordered A side of mushrooms with the Caesar. It was mostly kale, and very few pieces of romaine. There was no cheese whatsoever.There was a tablespoon of mushrooms on top. They were so salty! And they were An extra $9!!!! The large Mediterranean bowl was tiny. It also had a tremendous amount of kale and again the mushrooms were so salty. We could not eat it. The server was in, sincerely, nice to begin with. And not very attentive. At the end of the meal, which was not finished except for the burger, we told her that the mushrooms were incredibly salty and we couldn’t eat them. She immediately caught an attitude and said we should’ve told her when she asked us how it was. She went back and complained to the kitchen. No apologies nor offers to make it right. Furthermore, without drinks our bill was over $75. We were two stores down the sidewalk when she came after And said that we had shorted her $20. We said no, we didn’t, and she come through the bills again and saw that we were correct. She was very rude. I’m not sure how this restaurant has so many stars. Portions were small and not good at all.

This is one of the nicer restaurants that has some pretty good vegan and vegetarian options. Howver, they changed the menu recently and I'm so sad about it! Please bring back the original mushroom cheeseburger, the big salad, and the sushi!! Service is always really good.

Service is amazing and super kind. Food is pretty good. The pizza is delicious. Finally some good wings down here in Florida. And the salad is the best salad I’ve had at a pizza place here in Florida. Another great feature that we love is putting our order in advance online, so it’s ready to pick up after work on the way home. AND.. if you have a Marriott Bonvoy card… you score points. It’s literally a win win. And my boyfriend is finally happy with a place that gives you a normal amount of fries.

Fresh Mozzarella has the best white pizza in town. The employees are super friendly & the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We do not order pizza from anywhere else. Highly recommend

My son and I absolutely loved our experience here. You can tell everything is made fresh to order. He even hand rolls his bread. The sauce omg the sauce. I can’t stop talking about the sauce. It was soooo good. You can tell the pizza was made with fresh ingredients. We ordered eggplant. It was soooo thinly sliced and finger licking good. I could have had that as my meal. We loved the fresh made bread. The parking isn’t the best, but the food is worth it for sure. He mentioned some cooking classes during season that we plan on supporting. Check them out.

Super nice man at the counter, which makes me feel bad. This pizza was undercooked by a lot. They have a system of cooking their pizza to 80% and their theory is that when they reheat the slice, it would cook all the way. They really should focus on cooking the pizza all the way on the first cook. It’s science. You can’t recook a pizza after it’s cooled down. I tried one bite and that was it. Waste of money. I learned my lesson. They are in a bad location with virtually no parking and very little visibility. They really can’t be serving pizza like this. Reply to the owner’s response: Perhaps it’s just the heat outside that is making us both cranky. How about I just come back and try to enjoy your pizza and maybe it will be better next time? Then I’ll take this review down and start over. The reason I came here was because I wanted to support you and obviously this review is not helping in the way you would like. I’ll gladly remove this review. Apologies for not going back for a refund. I walked far enough and it was hot and I had to be somewhere.

Fresh Mozzarella saves Saturday dinner again. Delicious pizza! The fresh Basil is a wonderful addition. One of the best gluten free options in town, and they’re so generous with toppings. Our favorite takeout. It was consumed before I could take photos 😂

I love Fresh Mozzarella's pizza. Their sauce is good and when they make it crisp, it is to die for! Rocco, the owner, is very nice and accommodating. I have ordered from him several times and always have had a good experience and good food.

I absolutely love Stella’s! It’s an authentic taste of Greek cuisine. The coffee; appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and coffe are all delicious. Everything is prepared fresh and good quality. 10/10

The best Greek food I ever had outside Greece. Very fresh, quality ingredients and very well cooked.

Delicious and gourmet greek meals. Melt in your mouth organic vegetable dishes and farm-raised free range meats. Incredibly savory appetizers, cheese with pita, calamari, hummus and eggplant dips. The sangria was fresh and wonderful, and the after dinner desserts were a perfect end to an incredible meal. Comfortable and Intimate atmosphere, can't wait to come back.

Pleasant local family run Greek restaurant. Food was very good and prices were very reasonable. Service was a bit erratic since the restaurant was packed. Reservations are essential. Parking can be a serious issue and be careful not to park in the convenience stores spots.

Our experience at Stella's was outstanding. We make it a point to dine here every time we visit Sarasota. The grilled octopus was expertly grilled.

I had lunch at Leaf & Lentil today, and it was great! I had the Daily Mix, which was potatoes, veg, and rice in a yummy red pepper sauce. They are a vegetarian place, but have many vegan options and are willing to accommodate. The people were super nice and the place was soooo cute. Definitely recommend!

We picked up 2 sandwiches here yesterday and had them on a bench by the water. We tried the Portobello Reuben and Big Mike. The sandwiches and sides were very good. We always love to find more vegan restaurants. They have a nice setup for covid where you can order outside and they'll bring it out to you. I appreciate the compostable containers and wood utensils.

A friend recommended this place so i had to try it. Its all vegan. I ordered the spicy mike burger and i loved it. It tastes really good. It definately has the spicy kick to it but its just right not too overwhelming.

I finally stopped by this establishment after driving by it countless time going to and return from Lido Key beach! The local place is healthy, Vegan and reasonably priced. The food was delicious. I recommend everyone stopping by and giving it a try for dine in or take out.

We stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat. Everything we ordered (Greek salad, portobello Ruben, everything salad, falafel pita and three bean chili) was delicious and the owners are super friendly! Also no single use plastic which was super refreshing in Florida! Definitely recommend this place for some healthy and tasty food!

Superb! We are visiting from the east coast, and we are always on the lookout for new and exciting vegan food. Today we found it! I had the portabello rubin it was perfect! We wife had the Po' boy, also excellent. We were so eager we also had the zucchini fritters and the polenta fries. We cant wait to come back when we can sit down and eat inside.

The manager was awesome!. Her attitude of service is a breath or fresh air! The staff were friendly and very accommodating for my large last minute order. Everyone was smiling and seemed to like their job. I'm sure because the manager is so nice!

Efr is the best, creates a great atmosphere, always here when I come to get a pizza. Never had any problems in this little Caesars here. At the other ones, there’s a little bit of violence and fighting once in a while not this one. I recommend everybody come here for your pizza. Recommended for birthday parties, family dinners. Celebration of life, honeymoon, wedding catering, funeral services bouncy houses nighttime security good people all around would recommend anybody come here for anything you need. Great drink, selection and fun pinball machine. Perfect arcade area for a kids birthday party.

When we saw advertisement, we always wanted to try. As my daughter said, it is mediocre pizza. It is explains everything.

Their pizzas are very tasty and the prices are conservatively normal. My wife always wants the supreme pizza and those are never ready in the warmer for pickup. You have to wait 20 minutes for it to come out of the oven. But that's ok, it's what we like.

Interesting place. I came here because I was looking for glass noodles. My husband and I love Thai but I prefer vegan and we tend to favor gluten free. I also LOVE papaya salad but hate the fish sauce so I was surprised I couldn’t get it here without the fish sauce because it’s pre-made. Same goes for everything else so it’s difficult to customize some things. It’s got a very American vibe and taste given that they use black pepper…which I also can’t stand. I’m American but I love authentic Asian food and this is more of a mix. All that said, the vegan boba was great and the food was not horrible. They also have jackfruit! This is always a bonus.

Delicious! Order bunch of vegan options all of them hit the spot! Outside might look weird but once you enter, it takes you to Asia. Very clean, friendly employee and enjoyable food.

If you are concerned about eating somewhere that is safe and clean then this is the place to eat.I love the owner and her family. They really know how to make amazing food and I love the way they are handling covid-19 and taking extreme precautions for the safety of everyone. They use eco friendly products and have an entire vegan menu. The veggie rolls and pannang curry were the best I've ever had from any asian restaurant. They use fresh ingredients and produce quality food. Can't wait to come back 🙂

I had a hard time finding this little gem while I was in town for work. But once I was there, I was in heaven! I haven't been able to get Thai iced tea since I became a vegan! I ordered a bunch of different things including a crepe thing. I took a lot to go to the hotel I was staying at. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. Service was great and the prices were perfect.

The food here is absolutely delicious. Especially the yellow curry. I couldn't believe how good it was. The Pad Thai and the fried dumplings were also very good. We will find it hard to try any other Thai place after this.

First time and we just had a few small plates. We shared the vegan spring rolls, vegan larp gi with tofu, then we tried the fried tofu appetizer too(last one not pictured). We both agreed that we would go back and try some other dishes in the future.

AMAZING! The Koor Me Lao noodles are out of this world. The yellow curry is PHENEMONAL. Celiac and gluten free friendly. Healthy vitalizing food l. Very kind hardworking friendly owners and staff. Beautiful decoration. Very chill vibe. Come here, you won’t regret it!
