Nice little shopping, food, and entertainment scene in old part of Topeka. Locals may not be too influencing to go down there due to past years, but from what I've seen, it looks clean up and patrolled well. I have been enjoying going down there with family when im in town. Place has really turned around, and there is fun entertainment. 🙂

I find the bulk of NOTO creepy. The amount of graffiti and piles of garbage is astounding. Though I will admit that my partner has explained to me and reminded me, that hippies still exist today. So, I guess it's considered hippie art. I would highly suggest going with someone though, just to be on the safe side.

This part of Topeka feels like such a small town and gives off those vibes. Unfortunately, there weren’t a ton of businesses open around 4:00 on a Saturday, but I enjoyed going through the shops that were open. Everyone I talked to was super nice, and I enjoyed all the beautiful art.

This is a fantastic little art district. So many different shops. You can enjoy a whole day there. Cool murals and sculptures all over downtown as well.

The NoTo area was quite wonderful with nice shops and Norsemen Brewing. When we were there, the Art Center was closed even though their Facebook page said they'd be open so I can'trate it fairly. The gentleman that came to the door explained that they were preparing for a NYE party.

The Wheel Barrel was great! Bartenders are real mixologists! Signature grilled cheese are delicious. We will be back on our way through! Home of the Horsefeather!!!

There's tons to do! Great food around each corner it seems! They will have some events, with shops, and live music. It's a great time for the whole family!

As with the rest of Americas malls, this is no different. A few stores here and there. Not much foot traffic in here. This place brings back memories, I witnessed this being built, I had great memories of this place as well. Friends, family and fun. Anymore it is definitely not that and I’m afraid of what the future holds here. This elegant nails place is nice and they do a good service for your hands and feet

It is not what it used to be back in the early 00s to late 90s. They are trying. I will give them a big they are trying. I do like that they are bringing in small businesses. It could very well be a new hot spot in the up coming years but it definitely needs an uplift? A burst of energy? A pop of... I don't know what it needs but it needs people to be excited about the inside again. I love they are bringing carnivals and rides to the outside, that is amazing.

Visited while in town. Great mall to do to indoor laps. The stores that are still open we're clean and workers nice. Enjoyed Spirit Halloween, has everything you can think of for Halloween. Topsy's was a plus!

The West Ridge Mall was recently purchased by the owners of Advisors Excel. They have wonderful plans to create different spaces. Office, retail, recreational. They have done incredible things in town ... I trust them to fo a great job with this new project. They have a winning reputation!

Visited this pet store that was severely neglected. Dog food and water bowls were dry and filthy, with feces and dried vomit in their cages. Ferrets, prone to illness, were kept in open cages without lids, exposing them to potential health risks. Given their similar respiratory system to humans, this negligence puts them at high risk. The conditions were heartbreaking and inhumane, resembling a puppy mill.

This mall is essentially empty. Unless you are coming here for something in particular that you know is still open I would pass. Particularly, if you are from out of town and don’t know, the mall is dead and there isn’t much of a reason to go at this point. There are many other malls within an hours drive such as Oak Park and Legends which I would recommend much more than this mall.

I was a little shocked at how many stores are open and the number of people shopping. Extra disappointed that they are still doing Santa pictures. It does not appear that Santa is behind anything, but he was on break so I can't confirm that. But to each their own. Bath and Body Works was limiting the number of people allowed in their store at a time.

Very quiet most of the time. Calming and clean environment. Washrooms were clean as well. Also, personal preference but I love the music there. Spent several hours here, read the senior monthly. Overall good time spent of my afternoon.

Needs a bit of love, time has taken it's toll. Love the Koi pond though, very serene, and the classic cars.

Fun shops, easy parking and short walking distance.

The location is great and convenient for me. The dillons there has fresh fruit and adequate parking. Starbucks is my favorite when I just feel like walking a bit.

Just stopped at office max to make some copies. Did not go to any other shops.

Nice little mall. I took my granddaughter to Potwin Pottery and she made a ceramic mug. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I haven't been inside in quite some time but the restaurant Kiku is very good last time I went and Dylan's at this location is great. Chuck is the manager and he always aims to please. I would drive out of my way just to go to this Dillons

this place will get you where you need to go . it is clean economical and the staff that works there are all professional...

We pulled in here to take a break from driving. A big assortment of shops and eateries that are mostly local stores. A simple location where you can get many amenities, services, and great food fare too. Everything from home decor design to spas and other services too. Will need to come back sometime and explore here more

Decent amount of stores. Dillions is less crowded then others in town.

Ordered medium on our hamburgers turned out to be rare. Raw inside even cool to the touch. Was in a hurry so we didn't have time to reorder. Took a while for the food to come out in the first place. Staff was semi unorganized. It was not very busy. First time being disappointed there. Maybe an off day. Saturday 5/23, 5:30pm.

This Dillons grocery store has good produce and a good selection of products, is well maintained, has reasonable prices and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to get in and out. The only negative about this place is the clear decades-old age of the complex. It could use a good renovation to modernize it, but I don't know that the expense would result in increased revenue, so I think it will remain as is.

I've purchased several sound systems over the past 12 years from L&H. It never ceases to amaze me at the quality and commitment they have towards their customers. I just picked up my vehicle with the latest system and it was perfect! They went way beyond my expectations. If you need electronics give Jonathan or Jesse a call or better yet stop by and see their selection....you won't be disappointed!!

Good service. Not as friendly as I like but technically fine.

I definitely recommend this place! I inquired about an auto start for my vehicle and Jesse was very helpful and thorough. We had to reschedule due to a technician being sick but that was no big deal. The customer service Jesse gives is top notch and I appreciate that he explained things thoroughly and went over all the details with me instead of just handing me my keys, taking my money and I left. I’ll definitely keep them in mind for future use. Great job 👏🏻

While I've never had the pleasure of hiring them directly, there's a reason they've been in business so long.. So many friends have used them and I recently helped a friend drop off his vehicle. Their shop is spotless and the techs are not only knowledgeable but friendly

In my opinion, the most professional shop around. The shop is clean well kept. They really go above and beyond my expectations. Have always been patient with me with all the oddball questions I've had over the years. If It's just a 10 dollar part or a full install they have always provided exceptional service. They will have my business for years to come.

Getting an appointment for install and customer service with selling products was a great experience. Complications with vehicle following the install and concerns with the vehicle having a possible short with products that were installed I was told they couldn't help me and Id need to take it to see a mechanic. So after spending over 2,000 in products and labor with them I am now spending even more for diagnostics and someone else to fix it. Disappointed.

I've had good experiences here.. BUT... the last lighter I bought here doesn't work, and they were CLOSED at just past 10 this evening when hours are posted on here until 11 !! Sometimes it's just not worth it

The guys that work here are really nice and the Senecas are really cheap. Love this place. Too bad they close before midnight.

Lost my wallet in there after my purchase, my fault for not making sure I put it back in my baggy shorts without falling out and I noticed when I got back to my truck. By the time I got back into the store the clerk said there was only a little old lady in there after I was there. I didn’t see any other customers but could have been and they should be in the Olympics as fast as they got out of there. Owner was going to check the video and call me back but never did. If I can’t trust the owner I sure won’t be back.

I buy energy drinks and snacks here regularly. They also have coffee and nacho machines I've made use of a couple of times. But they have a lot of other things, too, and good prices. The two younger men who work the counter are always very nice.

Daryll is awesome, already has my usual on the counter and ready for me. I appreciate all the great service from all the employees. Never had a bad experience here.

Snow was falling heavily, wind was blowing and the employee chastised me rudely for parking closer to the door in his completely unshoveled lot... Apparently it is more important for them to micromanage customer's driving skills than to do something a bit more productive and kind -- like maybe shovel the walk and/or the lot...at least if they want us to park a certain way . At that time, I opted to go make my purchase at another local shop which will most likely be my shop of choice.

Fair selection, can get most of your roll your own supplies and tobacco stuff here. They have some selection for pop, including bargains. They are a little pricey, though, because of their location.

Decided to use a leasing agency called Koalifi to buy some new furniture. Went to Kansas Furniture Mart to purchase a new couch and loveseat on 8/14/24. NEVER AGAIN! To this day 10/3/24 we still do not have our furniture! I called the leasing agency to cancel the contract. They told me I'd have to pay 400 to satisfy the lease and then I could cancel. I told them we don't even have the furniture can't we just get a refund of what we've already paid in and cancel it? She said, "What? You don't have the furniture?" I said, no. He had to order it and we still don't have it. She said, we'll have to file a complaint and that a manager would be calling me in 3 to 5 business days to discuss what to do going forward and about a refund. The guy lied to them and told them it had already been delivered on 8/14/24! I was told by the guy it was supposed to be here by yesterday 10/2/24. When I called today 10/3/24 to tell him we cancelled the contract with the leasing agency he told me it came in yesterday. My thoughts are this, why in the world did he not call us yesterday or today to let us know? Why did he lie to the leasing agency? He also told me that he doesn't do refunds but would give us store credit, no thanks! He will have to answer to the leasing agency, not us! Absolutely ridiculous!

I went to Kansas Furniture Mart on 5/3/2025 to purchase a bedroom set. It's now 5/19/2025 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE A BEDROOM SET IN MY POSSESSION!! I called Bob and the only thing he could tell me was " it's in processing " it's been 16 days and I'm living and dressing out of laundry hampers and totes. I calledbthe financial companies and they said " we already paid him for the bedrooms set"!! I have began making my monthly payments on something I don't have in my possession! He doesn't answer his phone half the time. Financing company will help escalate this matter to gettingbit canceled...that will be another week. Smh

I am happy for people who had good experiences here. But I wouldn't set foot in it again. The place smelled horrible, was dingy, and the employee was asleep in a chair when I walked in. I walked right back out. I wouldn't trust getting furniture from this place at all.

TAMMIE & I THEN WENT TO 4 OTHER FURNITURE PLACES, IN WHICH THE SALES PEOPLE EITHER OVERWHELMED US TRYING TO MAKE SALES-( ONE SALES PERSON WOULD ASK QUESTIONS & EACH TIME WE TRIED TO ANSWER, THEY WOULD INTERUPT US AS SOON AS WE BEGAN TO SPEAK ) OR THE SAT AT THEIR DESK, SAY HI & NOT PAY ATTENTION TO US LIKE WE HAD TO FIGURE OUT ALL OF THE DETAILS ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS ON OUR OWN & WERE ALL VERY EXPENSIVE !!! Bob is a nice guy and I like my furniture. That being said I don't have high opinions on the manager Jeff. To start we got the run around when we bought the furniture for our delivery. Then he forgot to submit our warranty paperwork for the extended warranty we bought. We had some issues with our furniture and we were told they would take car of it. Started calling last October or November, called every couple of weeks and were told they haven't forgot about us and it would be taken care of. It's now March and we still never got our repairs done. Have a lot more needs they offer but most likely won't be back.

This place is a joke. By appointment only but don’t advertise this anywhere. Drove an hour for no reason. Have an open blinking light yet no one is there.

I only review 5 star venues . Keith, the owner, is AWESOME. He knows everything about the products he sells. Laid back communicates easily & friendly. Keith is not a high-pressure salesman. I've bought many furniture items from him. Just recently bought a new bed. The 2nd bed was purchased from him. I went home & thought about my purchase & called Keith the next day & upgraded to the better, more expensive bed. Keith had told me that he had many positive reviews about the more expensive bed. As I am very frugal, not cheap, I called him and upgraded to the more expensive bed. Keith does not try and make money, but too make his customers happy with their purchase. Keith has been my only furniture guy for the last 30 years. When visiting, I always sit and run my hands over the quality Ohio Amish. Thank you Keith

Nice furniture store, expansive inventory. We were tired of buying furniture from the Big Box Stores, that would not last 5 years. Purchased today, delivered tomorrow, on top of that, they will take old furniture with them too! Very nice, so we do not have to wait weeks for new furniture. Very nice people running the store too.

The Chiefs cover I already had. The new chair is awesome. The people at the store were helpful and courteous. The warehouse guys were very friendly and helpful as well.

I've bought quite a few furniture pieces from Studio, and am impressed with their customer service and laid back attitude as you browse and decide what works for your space. They are so helpful at the time of the sale and beyond. They're always ready to help and answer questions, but not pushy and give you plenty of time.

Studio Furniture is my go to store. It is home owned and it shows. There are lots of choices, but I prefer to describe what I’m looking for. Then they walk me around the store to see the choices and different price ranges. It’s such a relief to have good service and someone to answer questions without trying to pressure me.

I was really impressed by the service Keith and his wife provided my husband and I with our purchase of a new bed. They are honest about the quality of the furniture and the price. I really enjoyed the process and was very impressed compared to previous experiences at Nebraska Furniture Mart.

I brought a couch from them many years ago and received excellent customer service. I needed a power lift chair today and gave them a call. Stayed after hours to meet my schedule. Very knowledgeable and flexible. Great place to shop for furniture!

The salesman, Justin, did fine. Went in two days later to pay my balance of 2100.00, and the lady that helped me acted like she didn't want to be there. Not even a smile when I walked in. I was in retail management for 40 years and she wouldn't be working for me. You wanted honesty, you just got it! Nice furniture though.

Went in not expecting to buy a recliner but just look. Found out they price match even with online. Found it almost 1/2 off their price so left with a new recliner to be delivered in a week. Nice showroom and friendly staff. Haley was great!

I was just looking and the young man that helped me was so kind and helpful. I bought a loveseat within just a short while of being in store. Just waiting on delivery in a few weeks. Very impressed with store and such a knowledgeable young man who explained all my options .

My sales person, lliam, was very attentive in showing recliners to me and listening to what my expectations were. The recliners I'm replacing are L A Z B O Ys that are probably approaching 40 years old. We've been very pleased with the brand.

The entire process was very smooth. From shopping in store, the onsite gathering of measurements and pictures of our actual room and the final virtual design and presentation was a pleasant experience. The entire staff was receptive of our wants and desires.

This is a new location. Very large selection. We were very pleased when we ordered our recliner. Garrett was terrific. Patiently answered all our questions.

Picked up medicine and have had photos made there

Wonderful place to get your medicine! If your looking for health products this is the place to be. A little pricey on certain stuff, but a well rounded place indeed.

I waited 15 minutes as first in line to get my wife's prescription. Jordan - I asked - watched as I waited during which time he chatted up the person he was serving when I walked up. After this, he retreated from the window until another customer came up to another window and they chatted. Frustrated, I finally asked whether they allowed for in store pickup - not Jordan but another clerk who was trying to fill drive-thru. She helped me and we were done just in time for Jordan to finish talking - no prescription apparent.

I love Walgreens they take great care my enormous medication monthly refills there always on top of all my children need something not to mention all the wonderful stuff I get to go shopping for like the best hair products and makeup and things like that but I found in the staff is awesome Navigate the pharmacy people get a little irritating especially when their wrong and you try to point that out

Organized and clean. Essentially what you would expect for your average Walgreens.

Store itself was great but had a horrible experience with one of the cashiers. Let me start out by saying I NEVER post reviews but this felt warranted. I had several breakable items I was going to purchase. Suzanne (the cashier checking me out) was passive aggressive as soon as I sat my stuff on the counter. I waited for her to put my items in a sack, to which she didn’t. She became extremely annoyed and kept rolling her eyes when she realized I wanted my items in sacks. She was even more annoyed when I asked that she wrap them so they wouldn’t break. I had pillows sitting on the counter that I figured she’d put into a large sack, to which she told me to “please move your pillows out of my way.” I was so confused because every store I go to puts my items in sacks, and she acted as if that was a huge inconvenience for her. Not to mention she was very rude from the start. Very disappointing as the store has barely been open but a few weeks.

Super nice store but it was way too busy for me. We'll go back when the newness wears off. One thing I found that was lacking was handicapped spots. We could only find 2 In the immediate area. In my opinion there needs to be a lot more spots for handicapped people.

A great antique stop while visiting Kansas, freindly and helpful staff along with a great selection of antiques. A good sized store with lots of booths, I will definitely be going to the 2nd location! Would definitely recommend for local people and people like me traveling out of state to find antiques!

FINALLY an excellent upkept, smellin good, clean bathroom! Every booth is uniquely designed and so many different things to choose from. Great deals and there is something for everyone here. Have been visiting this store for years and now the 2nd location as well. Great set up with each booth noticeably marked and easily maneuvered. Variety in product allows a variety of customers to find anything they may be looking for! All at great prices! Now that I am also a vendor for this store, I would like to review the other side of things. Managers are very helpful in providing tips for selling items and attracting customers, as well as the system of running the booth is explained in detail and they answer any questions you may have! I look forward to buying AND selling here for a long time!

Well, I'M IN LOVE WITH BEES! 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 I pull up to this lovely rustic building with three dome shaped greenhouses to the side of the building. As I approach, I'm get excited because the architecture of the building screams, "I was built in the early 1900s!"... They have a live bee hive and a bunch of facts about bees! Unfortunately, they died during the winter, but I'll be back! I'd love to bring my students here one day. I left with a medium apple cider slush, apple cider donuts, and a 1/2 gallon of cherry cider. I will return for the jams and butters pictured soon!

Best apple cider in town! Slush or a gallon, I got both! Plus, the amazing popcorn and don't forget the jams. I took home syrup, and my pancakes were definitely better for it!! Don't forget the staff and the family are just the nicest people you can meet. I love it there. I will definitely make it a point to go out there at least once a month from now on! It's absolutely amazing all around ❤️

This store is part of Topeka landscape for a very long time. Great amd friendly people. But now, is seems to be destination for apple cider slushies, maybe canned goods. Some frozen. No fresh produce, bakes. To their credit, it's hard to do business when road works around make very difficult to get there.

I've been coming to Ree's as long as I can remember. We always get the cider donuts that are made fresh daily and they never disappoint! Sometimes if you get there too late they will sell out bc they are so good! They have homemade apple ice cream, salsas, jams, pickled veggies, pies, fresh veggies/fruits, apple cider, old school candy, popcorn and local honey from a colony that pollinates the pastures. There is always a friendly face behind the counter who will answer any questions you may have or just for a friendly chat!

I went here growing up as a child with my grandparents. I moved up north to New England and everytime I come back i make sure to visit and get a slush! Always a great visit.

Great little mom and pop shop. Been stopping there for years to have an apple cider slush. The apple cider is amazing. This last trip, I purchased some cherry cider...also great!!!

Very nice market. Many vendors come here from far off places in Kansas. Worth visiting and seeing Kansas local products. Search for 'vivekoxide' channel in youtube to see my video which shows all the vendors and products here.

Visiting the FM yesterday was a disappointment. It's not the organization or location, it's the quality of the goods and vendors. I got spinach, rhubarb and kohlrabi from a Mexican family. The seller was polite and filed up a big bag of spinach from under the table but when I got to use it, the spinach was spoiled the same day so I literally got sold this garbage. Another nice older couple sold my kid this chemically filled summer sausage that somehow I have to feed my family because I paid $12 for a piece. Last stop was the pretzel food truck that sold us an undercooked pretzel for $7, literally was raw and doughy. I wonder how they can afford to scam people and show their faces again the next week. Why would you put MSG and nitrites in your homemade sausage nice lady?!?

OMG!! The majority of the produce has the produce code stickers on them. Not homegrown but bought from grocery suppliers. Yet the sellers had them marked as homegrown. Selling produce that isn't even in season here yet!!!!

Today was my first time visiting in 2024, following surgery. I couldn't shop much but I wanted fresh produce and got great stuff at Britt's, peaches, corn and tomatoes. I'll buy Mexican vanilla soon, as I'm nearly out. The gentleman offered to carry my purchases to the car even, but I needed the exercise. Great vendor.

Depends on the day you go. For the most part employees will liter the store and just talk to each other. If there was a store like Walmart I would gladly go there. They need to also be better about having lanes open for their customer. And not having the lights for the lanes on when they are closed on that lane. Also, about half the employees have an attitude problem. I understand this company is horrible to work for (been there, done that) but then get a different job. This is not a company that will ever appreciate you.

You can count on I'm never having enough checkers. They got plenty of self-service checking so you can do the work for yourself. It seems like the prices increase every time you go Did you have a good variety of goods.

If you like plants this garden center is for you! Their plants are great, awesome variety and not over watered. The shelves were stocked. Only downside was the isles were kinda blocked up with stocking for a weekend. Maybe they could do it at night.

Love pickup. No problems so far. Delivery is an issue with Walmart associates not caring about picking fresh stuff or searching for replacements. The drivers do not pick your stuff, it's Walmart. The drivers only pick up the otder and deliver it. They seem to do a very good job and are helpful and follow delivery instructions that you put in for your orders.

Got a bunch of attitude from guy in electronics because I opened the box for some $20 headphones and tried them on. I fully intended to buy the headphones, I had picked them out and was waiting at the cash register while I opened the box. The whole reason I was there was waiting for a hard drive to be unlocked (waited about 20 minutes). He refused to unlock hard drive cabinet before I payed for the 20$ headphones first. He said "it is a big deal we do not open things and try them out" and I had to pay for headphones first before he would unlock the cabinet and get me a hard drive. I asked for a manager and he refused. He ultimately went and got the key and unlocked the cabinet rang up both items and I payed, the attitude didn't do anything. 6-10-25 transaction at 7:13:21

Nice store, is sit up a little diffant compared to other Walmarts (makes it a little hard finding things), nice having a Subway, and eye glasses stores in it. Best of all when they saw the check out lines were getting long, they actually opened more check out lines.

I had the most disturbing and unacceptable experience while shopping at Ross Dress for Less in Topeka, KS. As I was doing some shopping after a work event, I was approached by a white woman who asked me, “Why are Black people shopping here in her town?” She continued to spew racist remarks, claiming Black people shouldn’t be there and should avoid certain stores. I was completely shocked and taken aback. I immediately reported the incident to the staff, expecting support. However, I was met with apathy. The manager told me they were aware of this woman, who frequently harasses customers, including other minorities like Mexicans, and they claimed there was nothing they could do. They excused her behavior, citing potential dementia, rather than addressing the serious harassment I, a paying customer, was subjected to. What makes this worse is that this woman was not even a customer—she was loitering and harassing people. Yet, the store chose to do nothing to protect their paying customers from this toxic and racist behavior. Instead of feeling safe and supported, I felt helpless, violated, and completely unheard. As a longtime Ross shopper, this experience has forever tainted my view of the store. No customer should have to endure such an encounter, and I will definitely warn anyone I know who plans to visit Topeka to avoid this store. Until the company takes real action to protect its patrons from harassment, I will think twice before setting foot in another Ross.

I went in looking for some jeans and a top. Very disappointed. They rarely have much in size 16. Lots of 1-12s. So if your a small person, you'll love it. A 16, not so much.

I’ve never seen this store look this bad. I went in today to look for sweaters, it was a pig sty. I used to work at this Ross and it was extremely disappointing to see how messy it was. The entire store needed facing, no loss prevention on duty, nobody working fitting rooms. Clothes falling off the hangers, one cashier for a long line. The hanger racks at check out were overflowing. They had multiple racks from truck being unloaded just hanging out on the floor with nobody putting anything away. I saw a total of maybe 4 employees. This place needs a manager, asap.

SELLING DEFECTIVE AND BROKEN ITEMS AS NEW. I purchased Jlab earbuds and a phone holder for my car. The packages looked normal. When I opened the packages, the earbuds were used and had earwax on them with everything missing inside the box and the phone holder was already broken. I'm traveling so I was hours away before I realized this issue but wanted to warn others in case you are expecting new and working products. The staff however were very friendly even though there were not even workers for the amount of people checking out.

Prices on anything but close are pretty much retail and I returned a watch and a lady at the Front almost wouldn’t return it. I just bought it the same night but I brought it home and had no battery in it. Why would I want to pay four dollar truck battery in an overpriced watch? I was gonna use it if it was ready to go but she looks like she wasn’t gonna return it Looking at me like I’m A crook and I manage a car dealership. I’m not a crook horrible service. I’ll take my money somewhere else from now on..

The lady with blonde hair ( register one. Assoc: 2415956 ) that worked around 8pm on Friday, September 5th. Had the most nastiest attitude towards everyone. Please go heal. Being nasty to my daughter and others. Do better. I don’t know if she had an attitude because she was doing something and there was a whole line and another lady (employee) was helping at other one but either way I don’t care. fix your attitude! just because you were rude like that I will always remember you every time I come in. If you don’t want people to come in and treat you the same way do better! if you knew better you do better.

I came here with my nephew and his girl to buy school clothes for her son. They selection for his specific size was slim but she was able to find several quality outfits at very reasonable prices.They carry name brands like Champion, Nike,Puma,Fila, and Hilfiger just to name a few. The store is well lit and huge but in my opinion could of been a little better organized. The shopping carts have this tall handle on the side which I assume is to make it more visable. They do have changing rooms but the restrooms are not available to the public. Ross Dress for Less is definately worth looking into for your back to school needs and also sells many different things such as cosmetics,wallhangings,popcorn,toys,sunglasses, and much more but is mostly a clothing store worth looking into for that hidden gem. I'll be coming back soon and maybe before that I'll try to find out when they get deliveries so I can have more to choose from.

I experienced terrible customer service here today. I attempted to ask an employee where I could find the shopping carts, and instead of stopping, she continued to push her cart and tapped her ear, giving me a nasty look. When it came time to check out, I was standing in a long line with only one cashier. The same female employee opened up another register, and I went to her to check out. I told her I changed my mind about buying a couple of things and told her so. She then huffed, puffed, and rolled her eyes. She then proceeded to snatch the items from the counter and threw them to the ground behind her with the nastiest attitude. She didn't wear a name tag, but I highly recommend that she receive some customer service training and apply what she learns. Her attitude and behavior are completely inappropriate in a customer service job, and will not serve her well later in life.

Everytime we go, they have exactly what we need. Always end up going because we have The Kohls Cash every single time. They got me with the credit card and the Kohls Cash is really nice from it!

Since Capitol One took over the credit card system at Kohl's, I have not been able to charge there. Capitol One has sent me 3 different cards over time with 3 different numbers. I called to activate each card, and then my store refused each card as invalid. When I call Kohl's 800# to try to fix the problem, they just send me a new, different card. And each new card is rejected at the store as being invalid. I am done with Kohl's.

I went to look for a specific brand of men's clothinh and unfortunately couldn't find it. I dod however find some beautiful jewelry for Christmas gifts at a really good price. This store is 2 levels, and the escalater to go up was broken. It was difficult to find another way to the 2nd floor, and the sign said to take the elevator. I never found the elevator, so I left the store.

I had to return my few items and it was only few days up, I didn’t know their new policy of 60 days. And this manager MAYKAyla was so rude to me. I haven’t see any manager talking to their customers like this. I would not recommend buying from this Topeka Jc penny in mall. I am not going to go to this store anymore. I hope they will fire her because of her mental rude behavior with customer. I would suggest to please see a video and make your decision to keep her this type of manager for their store.she seems very rude to her coworkers as well. Very tensed environment of the store. The guy at the register, I was talking to he was even telling me that he know she won’t listen to anyone lol that’s a big thing that employees are even fed up of their manager. Last manager they had last year was very nice.

It hardly had anybody to assist you I was looking for a black long dress with sleeves and there weren't any one to help you so there was this one customer that said we'll the dressing rooms are open you can go right in I said ok I will so went to try a dress I was kindly a person to take it by the door to hang the clothes I had with me but there were other clothes in the dressing room too nope no help no anybody around to help you with anything it seems it was dead place

Nothing takes the place of shopping for shoes in person.. Wish we still had our jcpenny in our home town. I love the business shoes they offer for women. Not to girly not to manly but comfortable and nice looking.. Go with liz claiborne or Clark's.

We bought two wedding rings here. After 26 yrs of marriage I finally got the ring of my dreams with the help of the staff at Penney's. The girls were patient & helpful. I found the perfect ring that I deserved & earned after so many years of marriage! As it happened, I lost my beautiful huge expensive diamond wedding ring & was broken hearted. We waited about a year then went back to Penney's to buy a replacement 2nd wedding ring & hopefully the last! I am so happy with my choice & the girls were just as happy & glad to help us the second time. As a side note, I found my FIRST wedding ring at home very unexpectedly which is crazy as now I HAVE BOTH MY BEAUTIFUL WEDDING RINGS AND AM DOUBLY HAPPY WITH MY PENNEY'S WEDDING RINGS!! THANK YOU GIRLS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!

Last couple of visits before they announced that they were closing. Although the store had a great staff. It looked a bit messy. But great staff.

I always love going to Big Lots because I get a lot of my snack foods from there at a great price. They also have an excellent Electronics area as well as hygiene, and household cleaning supplies all at a really great price! I recently went and discovered an 8 box container of Velveeta. To my surprise it was only $2.95! So I love Big Lots even more😊

Big Lots is very disappointing. I haven't been there in quite some time. It was very sparse, empty. The things I looked at and even in their e-mail, their prices are too high for the quality. It looked dirty and cheap. I don't like giving bad reviews. We did buy 2 foot masks one of which was outdated I didn't look at in the store. We bought a cute little wall decor for $5.

They have really been upgrading their store lately, added items and changing things. Looks great!

Store had a variety of outdoor decor and planters. Found some acrylic drawers there for super cheap compared to Amazon or Walmart. Staff was friendly and informative.

"Glady" was extremely rude when I went to return an item that was brand new. Item was never priced on the aisle, plus multiple items were marked twice with prices. Which one is correct?? Horrible customer service. Sadly, better off shopping at Walmart.

They always have decent prices especially on the queen bed set. Also they have some many decorations that are so cute and cheaper!! They carry food products along with carrying furniture that are very sturdy. They just have a little bit of everything at good prices. I recommend this company to everyone that wants good shopping and cheaper prices. it is kinda like a smaller Walmart. Go check them out see for yourself!!

Came in looking for khaki style shorts. Sales associate Binatha was great helping me pick out three pair. Good salesperson, as she suggested I add three t-shirts to go with the shorts, which I did. Look forward to shopping there in the future, thanks

Assume store they have the size jeans I wear in Levi's and a pretty good selection of men's cologne be prepared to spend a little more or in some cases a lot more to get the best the staff was excellent and went out of their way to help me find what I wanted it is handicap friendly and plenty of parking the store is clean and well stocked as one would expect go check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed 😘

The ladies at the men's cologne counter were awesome. I couldn't remember the name of a cologne I had tried, so they narrowed it down and made me a sample to take home. They ended it getting it right. They took excellent care of me, and I couldn't have been happier with my other purchases. I wish every shopping experience could be that delightful. I had such a great experience at the TJ Maxx in Topeka! The store was spotless, fully stocked, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the checkout process was quick—the wait in line was just seconds. Overall, I left the store very happy with my visit, and I’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend!

This Tj is mostly clothes and beauty products. They don't have very many housewares, which is my favorite part. But I still love Tj Maxx!

Arrived one hour before closing and although I saw no less than 6 people working there they were supposedly under staffed and wouldn't allow me to try on clothes. I left a cart full of clothes.

I visited Target to pick up 1 item quickly, and although the item would be more expensive here. I thought I would be in and out quicker. Boy, I was wrong. There was a line at the checkout all the way across the main floor. 2 Self Check-Outs and one older women actually ringing up customers. Customer service had two staff members not doing anything. Didnt even offer to help ring items up. Ended up spending 20mins just waiting in line. Should have gotten my item elsewhere.

My intention was to purchase a 2 week wardrobe for a family member. The plus size women's selection was not available, so few items in the department. I must find a different store for clothing.

I used to love Target because they are usually the only store who is good at restocking Kpop albums, but today was just awful. The KPoP section was almost completely empty. I went in with my mom and the bathroom was disgusting. The toilet paper was out in almost every stall, and the one stall that had toilet paper, the toilet didn't flush or work. It was really disgusting.

It’s Black History Month and OFC the Topeka Target has the Black history month representation section at the BACK of the store in the corner by the clearance section. They knew what they were doing. During black history month you would want to walk in and see it at the front to know they are allies but clearly THIS store isn’t. Whoever the General Manager of this store is needs to be fired or have some type of diversity training. I want the the GM, and all the Managers of this store, to know what the people of Topeka SAY DAILY about your location. LOTS of POC in the community want to work here HOWEVER it seems the HIRING Manager(s) only hire white people. We see very little representation of POC working for this specific location yet lots of POC apply, and it’s the same OLD story about how they hardly hire POC. Clearly you have to have some type of connections to work here or just be white. IVE HEARD THIS NUMEROUS OF TIMES FOR YEARS and the community of Topeka will let you know as well.

This was my first time to visit Wheatland Antique Mall. What a jewel of a find! The wide variety of items available, extremely reasonable prices and the attractive layout of everything is very tastefully presented. The staff were so friendly, professional and welcoming. This store has quickly became one of my top stores to visit & purchase unique items and furniture.

I think this is a horrible place. I bought something from this store and they stole 20 dollars from me. I paid the woman at the register and she gave a receipt showing 20 dollars less then what I have her. And they kept trying to make think I still owed them 20 dollars. When I said, no I don't owe 20 dollars, that the woman counted my money wrong, an older man working there started yelling and slamming his hand on the counter. Like he was crazy. Then he got in my face and started threatening me and daring me to do something. I felt like something was wrong with him. Make sure you get a receipt before you give them the money. And be careful around the older man. He has an anger problem and I feel is dangerous

Love this store! Great selection of all kinds of things. Booths were organized with easy to read tags on items. They even had a separate side for antique furniture. Also the employees were very polite and helpful. I will definitely be back sometime when I'm in the area!

Fair prices on most items. Clean and well organized for the most part. Always feels welcoming and for the most part I have less fear of moving wrong and knocking things over here than at other antique shops of similar size. I would recommend this place to a friend. Also doesn’t take too long to walk through especially if you’re looking for something in particular.

Great feel, beautiful works of varying types of art on display to simply enjoy, or for purchase. The artists that were in their own studios creating took the time to answer questions and even helped to get in touch with the artist that created the piece(s). Unexpected bonus, it seem several of the resident artists play music also. So, not only a delight for the eyes but the ears as well.

Two Wolves Studio & Artists Den is an excellent venue to view creative works of both seasoned and emerging artists. It provides support for not only visual arts, but music and the written word. Few can match the energy that owner Alexander Lancaster brings to the table, in support of his gallery and the goal of making Topeka a home for the arts.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and all the creative minds that come together to share ideas and thoughts. I seem to be making some aquatints and Open jam night is so much fun. Congratulations on celebrating 10 years of being an awesome art studio You'll be seeing more of me for sure.

I have seen some of the best art and music Topeka has to offer here. The work Alexander has put into not only his craft but into the art scene itself is remarkable to say the least.

Antiques..? This store's merchandise looks like it was sourced through Amazon and Temu, and it's prices are astronomical! Shopping at Nordstrom's would actually be way cheaper.
