I visited Ojukheon , and it was a really cool experience. It’s a famous historical place, and I liked walking around the old buildings and learning a bit about the history. What stood out the most were the cherry blossom and magnolia trees they were in full bloom and looked amazing. The pink and white flowers made the whole place feel peaceful and beautiful. Spring is definitely the best time to go.

If you visit gangneung you should stay closer to the city centre and visit ojukheon. There is a small discount if you go to this location during culture day (final Wednesday of the month).

Smaller than many other beaches in Gangneung but very cozy and quiet place. Public restroom is near and it is relatively spacious and clean. It is my go to beach to catch the moments of sunrises and just relax.

The area is really nice with MANY things to do. Nice restaurant and great walk. I biggest complaint is that the beach needs to be better taken care of. There was trash, especially plastic, everywhere.

The Sun and Beach cruise hotel is situated on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. The sculpture park is smallish in size but lots of photo zones. The glass bottom platforms and large koi pond was cool.

Sculpture park with green lawn looking out at vast ocean makes this place a great place for short walk. Try to avoid weekend, too many people. Do not recommend the food from the restaurant/cafe on the rooftop but the view is great.

Says "park" but it isn't really, it's just a hotel and tourist trap that charges for entry and there's not much to see honestly.

Bike riding is very good.

It's ok if you travel with kids...it's nothing that you want to drive for hours to see...^^
