Ice cream shop
Located in the charming town of Banff, COWS Banff is a popular ice cream shop that offers a wide array of hand-made, high-fat content ice cream flavors. The store also doubles as a gift shop where visitors can find cow-themed merchandise and other treats. With playful flavor names like Black Angus Forest and Cownadian Maple, this dessert haven caters to every palate.
Cow's PEI Blueberry ice cream is my go-to choice whenever I visit Banff. It's not overly sweet, and the color looks natural to me! I really enjoy the texture of the small, half-frozen, half-melted blueberries in the ice cream! The waffle is always fresh and crunchy, I treated myself by upgrading it with chocolate and peanut rim, which was nice but not necessary. The plain waffle would have been perfectly fine on its own!
Cami L — Google review
We stopped at COWS while walking around Banff and it’s definitely a fun little shop — lots of cow-themed decorations, funny t-shirts, and a lively vibe. We tried the Cookie Dough and Messie Bessie flavors. The ice cream was good but honestly not that special for the price and hype — tasted fine, but I didn’t find it much different from other places. The store itself is worth a quick visit for the atmosphere, but the ice cream didn’t really blow me away. Still, it’s a cute stop if you want a treat while exploring Banff Avenue — just don’t expect anything mind-blowing taste-wise.
Hamid B — Google review
Ice cream is fantastic.Portion size is small but delicious.Be prepared for long line. We ordered for cheesecake.bubble gum and chocolate and were not disappointed.
Rima G — Google review
COWS Banff is a must-visit for ice cream lovers – their flavors are rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The only downside is the line, which can get quite long, especially during busy times. Still, it’s worth the wait for a sweet treat in Banff!
Raymond L — Google review
This joint was recommended by our server from Eddie’s burger :D and it did not disappoint. Really yummy ice cream!!! Plenty of merch and souvenirs inside their store.
Jb P — Google review
COWS is an absolute must in Banff! 🍦 They’ve got a huge variety of delicious flavors, and every scoop is worth the hype. The line might look intimidating (it’s almost always out the door), but don’t worry—it moves quickly, and soon enough you’ll be happily debating whether to go classic or adventurous. Sweet, creamy, and totally worth the wait!
Ali — Google review
I wanted some ice cream in Banff village, saw the crowd and joined in. Excellent service, line moved, but ice cream was way different than expected! It tasted like healthy milk that's frozen. I eat a lot of Tillamook and creamier ice creams. I must be used to additives & glue! Lol. Got 2 scoops in a waffle cone. Was delicious and priced well.
Kimberly R — Google review
We were literally drawn to the store by the smell of their waffle cones. I had the peanut butter cup cup, unfortunately it wasn't as peanut buttery as i would have hoped. My companion had the wowie cowie and likens it to a gourmet nestle drumstick dialed up by 10, he enjoyed it.

Since its inception in 1968, it has served as a cultural hub, showcasing an impressive collection that spans geological history and human experiences—from Indigenous communities to European explorers. Visitors can immerse themselves in captivating landscape paintings and heritage exhibits while also discovering preserved examples of early Banff homes and cabins.
Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies – A Cultural Treasure The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies is a must-visit for anyone interested in the rich history and culture of the Rocky Mountains. This beautifully curated museum offers a captivating blend of art, photography, and historical artifacts that celebrate the region's Indigenous heritage, pioneering spirit, and natural beauty. The rotating art galleries add a fresh perspective with each visit. The museum's archives and library are also a treasure trove for history buffs. Located in the heart of Banff, the museum’s setting perfectly complements its focus on the Rockies. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or simply curious about the area, this museum offers an enriching and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Had a great time at the gallery. The glacier exhibit of photographs is stunning. The founders' gallery downstairs is a quaint spot to look at paintings. The Banff history exhibits are well done and informative. Book and art shop has a plentiful selection. Good bathrooms. Will have to return for the tour of the site's heritage buildings.
Anthony I — Google review
Small, interesting museum in Banff featuring the art of the indigenous people. It also has a heritage section that captures the history related to the local area and its National parks. Entry fee for adults is $15 and the museum can be covered in half an hour.
Ramdas P — Google review
Not sure why people are saying the museum is too small..... if you actually stop and read all the information you can spend at least 2h there! Most people I saw just walk around not reading a single info panel. Absolutely loved it. Learnt so much about the Rockies history! Definitely recommended if you're in the area.
Jess — Google review
The indigenous art exhibit was amazing, and the tour of the exhibit was led by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Also enjoyed the historic houses tour. Wonderful gift shop

Ideal for families or anyone to visit..it was free to enter when I went..staff very good and helpful and polite..2 floors of all the stuffed animals...information on all the displays..no lift to second floor so if you have mobility problems and struggle with stairs it could be a problem..I only did the downstairs because I had a walker with me and couldn't get upstairs..but I enjoyed the level I saw...it can get busy at certain times of the day..definitely worth a visit...
Dawn D — Google review
A wonderful gallery museum worth the visit when in Banff.
Denise R — Google review
If I could give zero stars, I would. Five years ago, when my in-laws were members, the Whyte Museum was vibrant and engaging. The Heritage Gallery was full of rich history and information. Today, it’s a completely different—and deeply disappointing—experience. The Heritage Gallery is now empty, the atmosphere feels neglected, and shockingly, there wasn’t a single piece of art connected to the founders. For a place that carries their name, this feels misleading at best. What once felt like a cultural gem now feels like a hollow shell. I left feeling scammed rather than inspired.

The Buffalo Nations Museum, located in Banff, Alberta, is a fort-like museum that houses a diverse collection of artifacts showcasing the history and culture of the indigenous First Nations people who lived in and around the Canadian Rockies. The museum specializes in preserving the rich heritage of Canada with exhibits featuring early Indian civilizations, photography displays, a variety of musical instruments, and seasonal events such as ceremonies, dances, and songs.
Nice small museum..gift shop..staff we're helpful and polite..disabled friendly ramp inside to get to display area...have to pay to get in..lots of items on display..screens with information playing you can sit and watch and listen....can take photos..just don't touch glass displays or exhibits...can get a guide to show you and explain everything you see...do groups as well...
Dawn D — Google review
The Buffalo Nations Museum is a charming, medium-sized museum that offers a fascinating glimpse into indigenous history. You can expect to spend up to an hour exploring the exhibits. While the displays are engaging, the museum could benefit from more comprehensive information on indigenous cultures and histories. Despite a slightly higher admission fee compared to previous years, the overall experience was good. One notable disappointment was the removal of the Sun Dance exhibit, which I was eager to share with my children. However, the drum room was a big hit, providing an interactive and enjoyable experience for them. The museum shop also deserves a mention for its delightful selection of animal stuffed toys native to Canada, making it a perfect stop for kids.
Samuel N — Google review
Beautiful artefacts and certainly worth your support. However, the museum struggles to find a red threat and/or guiding red thread throughout all that it has to offer. Also, the lack of a washroom for guests is a minus.
Frank B — Google review
Visiting the Buffalo Nations Museum was one of the most meaningful parts of our trip to Banff. Tucked away near the Bow River, this beautiful museum offers a powerful and immersive glimpse into the lives, culture, and history of the Indigenous peoples of the Northern Plains and Rockies. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the depth of knowledge and respect shown for Indigenous traditions and ways of life. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, with incredible displays of traditional regalia, beadwork, hunting tools, tipis, and artifacts that speak to the strength, resilience, and beauty of the cultures represented. What stood out most was how personal and grounded everything felt. There was a real sense of storytelling — not just facts and dates, but the voices and histories of people who have called this land home for thousands of years. It’s a museum that invites reflection, respect, and appreciation for cultures that too often go overlooked. The gift shop is also lovely — small but full of meaningful items, many of them made by Indigenous artisans. Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful souvenir or a gift with cultural significance, it’s definitely worth browsing. The location itself couldn’t be more beautiful — nestled in the picturesque town of Banff with the mountains as a backdrop. It’s a peaceful and inspiring place to spend a few hours, and a must-visit for anyone wanting to better understand the land they’re standing on. If you’re in Banff and looking to connect with the deeper roots of the area, don’t miss this museum. It’s not just history — it’s living culture, and it’s told with care, heart, and authenticity.
Lina H — Google review
Visited this museum on a rainy day in Banff. It took about 40 minutes to walk through. Reading the history and seeing the items on display were so interesting. It was also cool to be able to hit the drum. There are 2 videos playing but it's hard to hear with people talking and the drum being played. The gift shop has a large selection and alot of "Made locally in Canada" items which I appreciated. The staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Courtney H — Google review
Great experience with the kids. Even a drum room to try out. Amazing artifacts and history pieces. Highly recommend!
Steve C — Google review
Good resource for information on first nation. Would have been nice to have had some first nation people there to share experiences first hand. Although the videos do tell of the atrocity and slow genocide suffered by the people and children.
David — Google review
Like others here, I would benefit from understanding more about the curatorial process at this museum. Failing additional details, I will say that if you’re looking to meaningfully engage with the history and story of Indigenous peoples in the prairies, you may struggle to do so here. Poor upkeep and supporting documentation of exhibits and outdated language throughout the space left me feeling more like a detached gawker than an engaged participant in the reconciliation process. Things like the unattended drum for all to use left me with the sense that there was some consensual element absent here. My awe at the size of this collection is perhaps matched only by my unease about how it came to be displayed in the way that it is. I do not recommend this museum.

Candy store
The Fudgery is a candy store that is located in the Sundance Mall on Banff Avenue. They make delicious treats such as chocolates, truffles, and brittles.
The Fudgery in Banff is a must-visit if you have a sweet tooth! The selection of sweets is immense—fudge, maple treats, candy, and more. You can’t help but be drawn in by the amazing aroma wafting out the door. Everything we tried was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place that brings out your inner kid. Great spot to pick up a treat for yourself or a gift to take home. Don’t skip it if you’re strolling through Banff Ave!
Ram K — Google review
It was my first time visiting this store and overall, I’d say the experience was good, but with one big downside. I tried their chocolate and nut fudge, and it was honestly really tasty, rich, creamy, and definitely felt like it was made with good quality ingredients. I also went for the green apple dipped in caramel and chocolate, which I’ve had in other stores before, and this one was just as good. Nothing to complain about with the flavors themselves, because they were solid and enjoyable. The part that really disappointed me though was the fact that they don’t offer any samples. For every single flavor, you basically have to buy at least 100 grams just to try it. I get that it’s a business and they want people to buy, but when it’s your first time in the store and you don’t know what the different fudges taste like, it’s kind of a gamble. Honestly, if they had offered even small samples of a few flavors, I would have probably ended up buying three or four more just to try them out. So overall, the taste was really good and I was happy with what I bought, but the lack of samples makes the shopping experience weaker. I hope they change that in the future, because it would make a big difference.
Rouzbeh R — Google review
Stopped by this fudge and chocolate shop and was really impressed! They have a wide variety of flavors — from classic chocolate and maple to more creative options. Everything looked beautifully presented, and you can tell they take pride in what they make. The fudge was a bit sweeter than I expected, but still creamy and rich in texture. The chocolates were fresh and flavorful too. Service was friendly and helpful — the staff were patient while I tried to decide which ones to get. The place itself is cozy, clean, and has that warm, nostalgic candy-shop vibe. Overall, a great spot for anyone with a sweet tooth!
Culinistanbul — Google review
Stepping into The Fudgery in Banff was a real treat! They boast an impressive selection of sweets, from classic fudge (in what felt like endless flavors) to various chocolates and candies, making it tough to pick just a few. While it might be a bit on the pricey side, which is somewhat expected in a tourist town like Banff, the quality definitely shines through. The overall vibe in the shop was wonderfully positive, and there was a nice lady working there who was both friendly and helpful. It's a great spot to indulge your sweet tooth and soak in some good energy.
John J — Google review
Absolutely delicious!! Great place to stop by for a sweet treat. The truffles were amazing.
Mateo — Google review
If you are reading through the reviews don’t bother reading anything that gives the Fudgery anything other than 5⭐️ because they do not understand good chocolate treats, candy apples and fudge. Everything is hand made so mistakes can happen. The employees making the treats wear the proper coverings to make sure your treats are not contaminated. But things happen and they can’t happen very often or it would’ve happen to me by now. On average I go to the Fudgery once a month and buy several items each time for my wife, my daughter and myself. My wife loves the dark chocolate snails and dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The snails are large and sinfully delicious. My daughter always gets the chocolate bear on a stick, milk chocolate peanut butter cups and occasionally a chocolate covered caramel apple. I always get a couple of haystacks, a chocolate coconut cluster, and a piece or two of fudge (I’ve tried them all). Unfortunately we eat our treats and then think we should’ve taken pictures for a review. So instead of putting off doing a review until I take some pictures I’ll just do one and add pics later, maybe. For the sake of my fellow readers of reviews I’ll make the sacrifice and go there this week and buy some more treats to photograph even though I was just there on Saturday.
Sean S — Google review
Amazing amazing salespeople. I got there seconds after they started to close the doors but still were gracious enough to open for a final sale as I knew what items I wanted. Thank you ladies you made my night.

Restaurant
Ramen Arashi Banff is a hidden gem located on the third floor of the Sundance Mall, known only to locals. The compact cafe space offers a delightful ramen experience with a variety of options, including vegetarian versions. Despite its unassuming appearance, this restaurant keeps patrons coming back for more with its piping hot bowls of Japanese-style ramen made from traditional and fresh ingredients.
Great food, service and prices :) If youre looking for flavorful, authentic ramen, this is the place to be! I dont remember what its called, but the chicken and rice bowl was simple but good. The large is definitely more of a meal size rather than the smaller size would be. Got there around 4-4:30, so there was no wait at all. It started getting busier around 5:30 when we were leaving.
Jess — Google review
Good portion size and decent taste. I have it a 4 stars only because the tofu add on to my ramen had a weird taste like it’s spoiled or not fresh… I ordered the arashi signature ramen, and it’s VERY spicy, the broth especially. The service was great and attentive despite being so busy. There’s quite a bit of a wait time since it’s fully packed.
Coline — Google review
Food was excellent got the Arashi ramen! Atmosphere was great! Felt like a hidden gem and authentic Japanese place. We got the Arashi Ramen and Edamame. The meat in the ramen was but gamey but the broth and noodles were really really good! Edamame was spicy just how I like it :)
Aditya C — Google review
This is a really popular Ramen restaurant in Banff and located right on the Banff Avenue (2nd floor of the Sundance Mall). We ordered Seaweed salad, Arashi and Veg Miso Ramen. While the Arashi was really good, their veg miso ramen was not that tasty. If you are looking to have a veg Ramen, I won’t recommend this place. Otherwise, I would totally recommend it. The service is really good. If visiting at the peak times, you may have to wait in a queue.
Neeraj G — Google review
Great small hole in the wall ramen shop. Don’t let the hole in the wall fool you. They are mighty in flavor. They have simple menu selection. Makes it easy to order. We ordered seafood ramen and their signature ramen. Both were delicious. We added extra toppings cause we were hungry. Their char siew for the ramen was very tasty. The restaurant has limited seating. They have a bench outside for folks waiting. Kitchen is by the entrance when you walk in and you can see their action.
Michael Y — Google review
Got recommended this place by two of my friends, so I had to come find out what the hype is about. We felt the popularity right away when there was a long line out the door looking like a 45 minute wait. They also had a sign saying they ran out of pork chashu unfortunately. With our stomachs rumbling we decided to do takeout instead and had our food in 20 minutes. We got an Arashi & Tonkotsu ramen with karaage and they were both INCREDIBLE. My girlfriend is usually a pretty slow eater but she was crushing her bowl (although we were also really hungry so that probably played a factor as well haha) I would say Toronto definitely has comparable ramen to this place but this was an S tier bowl of ramen.
Andy L — Google review
Food .. 1000 Service.. 1000 Atmosphere...authentic If you love ramen or just barely like it...YOU need to RUN to Ramen Arashi. The lovers of ramen will want to live next door to this place, the non lovers will change their minds and become absolute fans of ramen. If there is a line..WAIT, you will not be disappointed. We stood in line with 3 people ahead of us and only waited 15-20 minutes. We were only in Banff for 4 nights and we ate here twice, it would have been 4 times but we didn't come across this quaint little restaurant until our 3rd night. My husband got the Spicy Tonkatsu and the miso tonkatsu. I got the veggie tantan both nights. Again...YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE.
Sandy E — Google review
Chanced upon this little ramen shop when we were craving something warm to combat the weather, and I’m so glad we found it. It’s run by a Japanese team and feels properly authentic - the broth is thick, rich, and incredibly satisfying. There’s a constant queue, but it’s well-organised and moves pretty quickly, so don’t be put off. Would definitely be back!

Museums
Nestled in Banff, Alberta, Canada House Gallery has been a prominent fixture since the 1970s. It boasts an extensive collection of art by resident artists from across the country and is known for its focus on contemporary local art, sculpture, and native crafts. The gallery regularly hosts temporary exhibitions featuring paintings and sculptures available for purchase. With a strong emphasis on Inuit artwork, it offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in Canadian creativity.
Probably THE best gallery in Banff with varied artworks of various mediums. I'd be in the poor house if I purchased everything I wanted. Such talented artists and a wide variety of work available for purchase. Definitely stop here to admire or purchase.

We had a wonderful experience with Canada House. We found two beautiful pieces to take home with us and couldn’t be more pleased. Alexis was great to work with–showing us other pieces from an artist we showed interest in and wasn’t pushy at all. One of the items we purchased was actually a piece Alexis pulled from the back. We value shopping local when possible and Canada House made it easy by representing many talented local/regional artists (at a variety of price points!)

Gorgeous gallery. Gorgeous art. Thats not why I’m giving it 5 stars. I LOVED being treated like a worthwhile human being. Stay with me here… lol A lot of galleries can feel very intimidating to go into. The employees can be heinous art snobs. I LOVE art but I sure can’t afford to buy it. I walked in this gallery and one lady actually had conversation with me. Discussed the art. We discussed style and the artists. Not to get me to buy. Just a conversation about the love of art! It was refreshing and lovely. I wish I had asked her name. I’m sorry I didn’t but the lady with the long dark hair. lol Thank you so much. I appreciated you so much!

The Banff Candy Store is a beloved destination for candy enthusiasts, offering a wide array of imported international treats, novelty confections, and individual chocolates and fudge. Visitors are greeted by a large plastic cow at the entrance, where they can also find ice cream, dairy products, and souvenir cows. The store boasts an impressive selection of candies and chocolates from around the world as well as fun items from the USA. Customers can purchase handmade chocolates, Turkish Delights, or buy candies in bulk.
This candy store stocks a wide variety of sweets from different countries that are very difficult to find. I’ve never seen a candy shop stock fresh Turkish delights and bon bons!! Both of which were delicious. I’m sad I didn’t buy more flavors to bring home! A little dingy inside but the selection and service make up for it :)

5 Stars – A Sweet Trip Down Memory Lane! Stopped into the Banff Candy Store and was delighted by the selection of retro treats! I picked up some childhood favorites, and the lady working there was super nice—we had a great conversation, which made the visit even better. If you're looking for nostalgic candy, there's a good chance you’ll find it here. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s absolutely worth it for the experience and quality. I highly recommend the salt water taffy, butter Rum Life Savers, and the delicious bear claws. I also bought a peanut nougat roll. This shop is definitely a must-stop if you're passing through Banff!

Candy galore! Candy everywhere you look. Fudge, nuts, and so much more. Glad we stopped in - purchased several treats.

Stopped by this place to try some chocolates. The store has a lot of variety in sweets, and handmade chocolates are sold by weight. Paid about $8 for 2 bear claws and 2 peanut clusters. Good place for a sweet stop
Viraj J — Google review
While they cleaned this store up and rebranded it over the years, it seems to have less selection than before. It is still good but not “the” candy store anymore. Last month when I had some bulk candy, it was a bit hard (been sitting?). It’s still a great place to drop in and they have a good selection of imported candy bars.
Jeff K — Google review
This store has a terrific selection of new and classic candy. You’ll definitely find some niche products here. For nostalgia lovers, this is the place to go. Prices are fair. Service is positive. The store is clean and presented well and overall, the experience was great. Highly recommended!

The Banff Candy Store does not disappoint! It’s full of imported and nostalgic products. There’s an entire wall of Pez. There are candies and chocolates from all around the world and some really fun items from the USA. You can buy handmade chocolates and Turkish Delights or candies in bulk. We were really impressed with the selection! Nice customer service as well!

The supermarket Nesters Market is a big and popular place where people can buy all the food they need. It's open every day, from morning until night, and it has a lot of different stores where you can find everything you need.
If you’re staying in Banff, this place has everything you need food wise. Their pre packaged deli sandwiches are top notch, so if you’re planning for that hike around the area and want to pack something for the go, this was my one stop shop for everything!
Kobi V — Google review
Local Store with everything you need and more! Meat counter has quite a few options. Prices are very reasonable. Shop and support local!

Staff were not helpful. We felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Website implies that gluten free food was available but we couldn't find any.
Phil H — Google review
The tall Black male cashier was very rude and threw our items during checkout. As an Asian customer, I felt an uncomfortable atmosphere that suggested racial bias. I hope the store addresses this behavior.
Weiting L — Google review
The man working the desk was eating chips so loudly and watching TV on his phone while I was shopping. I felt like I was in someone’s living room. It was extremely off-putting and dissuaded me from buying anything.
Sara P — Google review
One of the two significant grocery stores in Banff. This one is local and offers a great selection of... everything. I like the prepared foods in the deli and everyone is always friendly and ready to jump in and help. On a cold day when you don’t want to spend a fortune on lunch... hot soup and a chicken is perfect.
Jeff K — Google review
Well stocked, great selection, reasonable pricing. However it doesn't have its designated parking lot.
Lisa C — Google review
Reasonable prices, if you're visiting and getting around on foot this is your option. This still has an absurdly outdated, imprecise, and arbitrarily stocked isle labelled "ethnic" in 2025. This tone-deaf and ridiculous term was already outdated in the 80s Everyone has an ethnicity! It would be easier to shop if the products were stocked with the others by type, no need to segregate. Historically this categorization was to differentiate classification from western European or American cuisine, such as the "oriental" isle. In Nesters case, Mexican hot sauces are now normalized to the regular condiment isle, alongside with Taco Bell brand "omg Teh-co nite" staples. Congrats, Mexico! As a brown man, born in Alberta over four decades ago, I find this approach disappointing. The demographic diversity of your patrons and staff is uniquely vast what with Banff being an international hub, and should be celebrated.

Monod Sports Ltd is a well-known retailer that specializes in outerwear, apparel, gear, and accessories for mountain activities. The store offers a wide range of premium outdoor gear, equipment, and clothing. It's a great place to find camping essentials at reasonable prices. While some customers have expressed concerns about the availability of sizes and styles for certain products, Monod Sports still remains a popular destination for holiday shopping and outdoor enthusiasts.
This sports store is excellent and carries some fabulous high-quality brands. Beyond clothing, Monod Sports carries shoes, hats, harnesses, and other sports equipment. The staff here are friendly and helpful. They are always refolding clothing to maintain the neat and clean appearance of the store. I found the layout excellent with multiple levels dedicated to different categories and departments. It's not wheelchair friendly, but the atmosphere is cozy. Bonus: their clearance area is worth stopping by

Monod Sports is hands down one of the best outdoor stores I’ve visited. The staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable—they helped me find exactly what I needed for my hiking and skiing trips. Was there a few weeks ago, fantastic service. Was so impressed, the staff were so helpful but not at all overbearing. The lovely attendant who spoke to me offered to put away some stuff I was looking at, and even brought over an item they thought I would like and were completely correct! The stuff there isn't particularly cheap but all felt really good quality which I would much prefer over cheap and bad. Great shop!

Such a cool and unexpected experience! We visited in June and walking into a full-on Christmas wonderland was honestly kind of magical. The store is huge — way bigger than I thought — and packed with all kinds of Christmas stuff: ornaments, decorations, and the cutest miniature Christmas villages. It really felt like stepping into the holiday season in the middle of summer, which made it extra fun. Whether you’re into collecting ornaments or just want to get into the festive mood (even out of season), check this place out!!
Jenny S — Google review
This store is by far the biggest, most exciting, and most unique Christmas shop I have ever visited in Canada. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by a magical world of festive colors, sparkling lights, and decorations of every kind. The atmosphere is so warm and joyful that it truly feels like stepping into another universe made just for Christmas lovers. What amazed me most was the variety of items. They had everything: beautifully decorated Christmas trees, stunning ornaments in every color and style, twinkling string lights, wreaths, garlands, stockings, tree toppers, and shelves full of candles, snow globes, figurines, tableware, and holiday centerpieces. There were also countless unique accessories, little surprises you don’t often find anywhere else. Whether you’re looking for classic red-and-gold décor, modern metallic pieces, or even fun and quirky items, this store has it all. I also noticed they had some great discounts on selected items, which makes shopping here even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, the layout was easy to walk through, and every corner was filled with inspiration for holiday decorating and gift ideas. Overall, this place is the perfect destination to plan your Christmas gifts and decorations. With literally thousands of dazzling items, it’s impossible to get bored, I could spend hours here and still find new treasures. If you want to feel the true Christmas spirit, this is the store to visit!

Yep, it's what the name of the store says it is, except x100. It's July. And a family trip in a resort town triggers an impulse to look for nutcrackers for a collector of said objects. The Banff Trading Post, located near the archives and once owned by Norman K. Luxton, offers a unique experience for visitors. The shop features a wide selection of genuine Native Canadian handicrafts from local Stoney Nakoda artisans as well as those from across Canada and North America. One of its notable attractions is the Banff Merman, which can be found at the back of the store.
My partners father was a trapper his whole life, this little shop was such a delight to find. We spent at least an hour inside, saw the mermaid, and the shirts here are better quality and cheaper than Main Street. Plus, they are full of native made items.

A MUST-VISIT SHOP IN BANFF FOR AUTHENTIC INDIGENOUS CRAFTS This remains one of my favorite stops whenever I visit Banff. The Banff Trading Post is a wonderful stop, offering a wide variety of authentic Indigenous crafts, artwork, and souvenirs. SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS ARTISANS One of the standout aspects of the Trading Post is its commitment to supporting local and Canadian Indigenous communities. They purchase beading directly from the Stoney Nakoda First Nations, ensuring authenticity and fair support for artisans. If you enjoy beadwork, they also sell seed beads and other stones. REASONABLE PRICES & GREAT SELECTION The store carries a range of items, including clothing, slippers, sweaters, caps, sweatshirts, and T-shirts, all at reasonable prices. Whether you’re looking for a meaningful keepsake or a warm sweater for the mountain air, you’ll likely find it here. UNIQUE HANDCRAFTED ITEMS Over the years, I’ve purchased earrings, a leather wallet, knitted wool socks, gloves, necklaces, to name a few of the items. The shop showcases an impressive collection of handiwork from various Indigenous tribes, making each visit an opportunity to discover something new. CONVENIENT LOCATION & FRIENDLY SERVICE Parking is free for up to two hours, making it easy to stop by without stress. The staff, especially Emilio and Ray, were friendly, courteous, and helpful, making the shopping experience more worthwhile. If you have the opportunity, it will be worthwhile to take a few moments to chat with them and learn more about this wonderful shop! HISTORIC SHOP WITH A RICH LEGACY The Banff Trading Post is one of the oldest stores in Banff, with a history spanning 121 years. It’s more than just a shop, it’s a part of Banff’s cultural heritage. SUMMARY The Banff Trading Post is a must-visit for anyone wanting to support Indigenous artisans. You will take home unique, handcrafted souvenirs. With fair prices, a rich selection, and exceptional service, the Banff Trading Post is well worth a stop! Annie W. Master Reviewer Local Guide / Google Maps

Banff has many of these small malls that connect streets with each other and can be easily overlooked as they often have small front entrances. It's worth to check them out as there are many little shops that are real hidden treasures. Banff has an amazing number of shops, bars, restaurants, breweries, pubs and cafés for such a small place. If you're staying in one of the lodges or inns within Banff, everything is in walking distance. You can easily spend a whole day just mooching around and picking up some great bargains. The choice of food from all over the world is impressive and good quality. The little cafés are cute and cosy.

Banff as a whole is beautiful, but also a tourist trap. I noticed in a lot of stores I went into people in front of me in line would get to the cash register and tell the cashier that they were 'local'. The cashier would then proceed to ask them for 'proof' (I assume an ID of some kind with a local address on it), and then would give them a 'discount'. Most places the discount was 10%. Regardless, it means they are charging 'tourists' more money for regular items than they do the locals. It just came off as very 'scammy' to me. It was expensive as well. Banff is absolutely beautiful. But be prepared to spend money; and to pay double the price for almost everything (except maybe food).

If you value honesty, transparency, and not being blindsided by your bill, **avoid Snow Tip Backtrax in Banff at all costs**. My experience with them was nothing short of deceptive. I brought in **just my tires and wheels**—not even a full bike—for a simple swap. Beforehand, I called **three separate times** to confirm the price. Each time, I was told it would be **\$35–\$40**, with the possibility of being *slightly higher*. I made a point to ask over and over because I didn’t want surprises. Despite these repeated confirmations, I was handed a bill for **\$113**—almost **triple** the highest price I was quoted. And not once did anyone call me to warn me about this massive price hike. This wasn’t a “slight increase”; it was a bait-and-switch. When I asked to speak to a manager, the supervisor casually told me the manager is “a person who comes and goes,” meaning there was no way to escalate the issue or get answers. That’s not customer service—that’s avoidance. This was a straightforward, quick job, and they still managed to turn it into an expensive, frustrating experience. Based on what happened to me, I do not trust their pricing, their communication, or their willingness to stand behind their own quotes. If you don’t want to be overcharged and stonewalled, **take your business somewhere else**.

As someone who frequents Banff, this is always an essential stop! Pricing is the fairest I’ve seen in Alberta. The sterling silver jewelry is always very high quality. Customer service is unmatched, one employee helped out me and my partner finding a very specific ring size and we were so grateful. My favourite store in Banff ❤️

I recently ordered a Spinosaurus tooth as a gift for my son from the Banff location. Before ordering I talked with the Folks at Rocks & Gems on the phone for about 20 minutes. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Ordering something like this online always seems a bit stressful. But after speaking with them on the phone I felt confident to go forward with my purchase. I never asked for them to do it, but I had mentioned it was a gift for my 9 year old son. When the package arrived I opened it to inspect the contents and found that my package was not only packed with extreme care (packing peanuts all around) but as well they had taken the time to wrap the fossilized tooth and display case in nice tissue paper and a silver ribbon. To me this is above and beyond and by far the best online order experience I have ever had. It was ordered on a Thursday and showed up on a Monday. So happy there are small businesses and companies like this still. Thank you so much and I will be a returning customer. 5 star service

The Rockies in itself is an unforgettable experience. But the deeper it gets the more surprises await. Underneath them are a display of fossilized water and land creatures, gems, minerals and other precious metals. Entering Rocks & Gems, it’s like the mountains opening up for everyone to come in - explore, discover and learn about a world unknown. Be charmed by the cuts, shapes and forms, either as displays or jewelry. The pictures I took speak for themselves, Alberta from the layered rocks view— a multicoloured wonderland. On the floor was Elizabeth, genuinely excited about the breathtaking displays and highlights from this store. Her enthusiasm quite contagious - must be lovely to work there. She helped us deciding on gems to take with us as unforgettable gifts from the Rockies ! Thanks Elizabeth for the great help and Austin MacVicar, store manager for yet another side of the Rockies so well presented !

Do not spend too much time here...you may end up buying stuff! :D The store is an eclectic collection of very cool gemstones and fossils - both Canadian and from around the world. The fossils looked well preserved. We bought a jade bear as a souvenir to commemorate our visit which felt more unique than buying a mug. They offer shipping on some of the items but not all. They have a website for online purchases off their physical store. This store is definitely worth checking out. I didn't think I'd be interested but I was surprised to find myself browsing through their displays and reading about them. They even have meteorite collectibles! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

Great little find with a wonderful assortment of gifts and jewelry. Love the ring I purchased, and would come back. Pricing is fair, and definitely makes you want to purchase more! If I had more time, I could have spent an hour in there. I purchased and ran 🤣

When in Banff, a visit to the Banff Sweet Shoppe on Banff Avenue is a must. For over 20 years, this charming shop has been delighting visitors and locals with its handmade fudge, chocolates, and over 60 flavors of salt water taffy. The shop also offers rare and retro candies, making it a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Banff Sweet Shoppe is a candy lover’s dream! The moment you walk in, you're hit with the nostalgic scent of chocolate and sugar. They have a huge selection—from classic candies and handmade fudge to unique treats you don’t see everywhere. Great place to grab a little something sweet or pick up a fun souvenir. The staff was friendly and patient while we browsed (and sampled!). Definitely worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth and find yourself in Banff!

Lots of delicious candy and good variety. Person at register could be more polite. They seemed to be in a rush and didn’t really seem like they wanted to help or answer our questions.

Candy is so organized, so much to choose from… we got lucky with fresh hummus which is rare anywhere. They also have maple candys that are a staple for Canada. The only thing it’s very busy but obviously they’re good.

I bought some Caramallows at this store in March 2025. Our family has purchased these caramel covered marshmallows for years and we have always enjoyed them. However, when we got them this time, we were so disappointed. The caramel stuck to the wrapper and they were impossible to remove from the paper. This has never happened before. Since we live a four hour drive away from Banff, we could not simply return to the store to express our concern. We did not immediately discover the wrapper problem because we didn't try to eat the Caramallows until we got home. Because the Caramallows were expensive and inedible due to the paper sticking to the caramel, I wanted them to be replaced. I reached out to the owner, as well as to the store itself, but, to date, I have not received a reply. Talk about poor customer service. I guess that, once the store has your money, nobody cares about the customer anymore. Buyer beware!

I forgot what I was looking for when I stepped into this Banff Sweet Shoppe! Everything is so colourful! This shop has a wide selections of specialty candies, chocolates, sweets, fudges, toffees, rainbow lollipops, truffles, jellybeans, caramels, nougats, candied nuts, flavoured honey sips, bubblegums & gum balls, fruit chews, chocolate macaroons, maple cream cookies and maple syrup just to name a few. There’s definitely something for everyone with a sweet tooth. Everything is well organized and I love the cute ceiling train! Finally found what I was looking for… maple syrup dark chocolates!!

I asked if I could get two flavours of fudge in the 100g minimum, and was told yes. I even clarified that I didn’t want to go over 100g, but in the end they gave me 200g anyway. Once it was cut, they said it couldn’t be put back, so I was stuck with it. Also, the fudge didn’t taste fresh at all—it felt like it had been sitting there for ages. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Behrokh S — Google review
The Banff Sweet Shoppe is a wonderful addition to the strip. They stand out as a purveyor of sweets and decadence. I love the interior decor and how it appropriately fits the olden day sweet shop of movies. There is a huge selection of candies and chocolates not found in the typical big box and grocery stores. A lot of imported goods that you would not find elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to the worldly acquisition of these goods, prices are high. Yet, if you find a chocolate bar from home, I'm sure you will be happy to pay to enjoy it. Definitely drop by and be picky what you want to snack on.

When visiting Banff, don't miss out on the local vendors offering unique holiday shopping experiences. One of the must-visit stores is the Rocky Mountain Soap Company, known for its locally made natural bath and body products. Their range includes handmade skincare items using natural ingredients such as bar soaps, bath products, hair care, skin care, lip products, candles, and accessories. Visitors can try and test these products in-store before making a purchase.
Stopped by to pickup some soaps after using them in one of the local lodges. Service was very friendly as I shopped all their different products. They have everything from bath soaps (bar & liquid), hand soaps, body creams, lotion bars, etc... in many different scents and sizes. I almost limited myself to a few non-liquid items since I was flying back home. However, they informed me of free international shipping after X amount. Employee was very helpful in ringing up my order, creating my account, gathering my shipping info, and assuring me it would be shipped right away. Sure enough, within a week, I received all my items safely packed up. This was very helpful as they know many visitors are from out of country. Nice selection of soaps and creams with friendly customer service to help you.

Amazing Products and Wonderful Service! This is an awesome shop! Their products are used in many hotels and lodges across the area, and it’s easy to see why — everything is top quality. From beautifully scented soaps and lotions to sunscreens and scrubs, the variety and craftsmanship are excellent. I first stopped in after hearing great reviews and recognizing their products from our hotel stay. The store has testers for almost everything, and there’s even a sink station to try their creams and scrubs — such a nice touch! I picked up a face lotion as a gift, and the sales associate was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and explained how to use it and its benefits. The customer service made the experience even better. They have everything from bath and hand soaps (bar & liquid) to body creams and lotion bars, all in wonderful natural scents and sizes. Absolutely worth visiting — whether you’re shopping for yourself or a thoughtful Canadian-made gift!

I stayed in the Hotel Canoe and they are using Rocky Mountain Soap. When we went downtown I saw the physical store and grabbed some body butter. Love the scent and I love that it is made all natural. Although a bit on the pricey side. Hopefully they will also have balm perfume in the future.

Absolutely amazing experience! Walked in because I heard great reviews and our hotel supplies their products for guests to use. They have testers for almost every product and even a station at sinks to use their creams and scrubs. The coconut sugar scrub was divine. I also got the passion fruit lip balm, one of my favorites I've ever used. You can tell the ingredients are quality. I really like their labeling and the overall esthetic of the store. Very calming and clean. The employee was super nice and made me want to come back again. Awesome company.

This is an awesome shop. It is used in many hotels in the area, and has great products all around. From scented soaps to lotion and sunscreen, this store has many different products that are very high quality. Definitely worth trying out things at this store!

It seems as if every hotel in Calgary utilizes Rocky Mountain Soap, so we decided to check this place out. We got a complimentary hand scrub, tried out their sunscreen and their lotions, and understand why this company is so popular. We also learned that there is a store in Toronto, so looking forward to purchasing items post our West Coast travels.

Honestly this place doesn’t make anything that isn’t absolutely amazing. I bought so much soap as gifts for people and through the Calgary airport when my bag got searched before they could even see it the security said they know what it is already and that they love the company!! I think that’s super cool! I’ve got the lip balm and shampoo bar and soap and I’d recommend everything it all smells great and it works well!

Roots is a classic Canadian clothing brand that perfectly captures the cabin style fitting for the Banff atmosphere. The brand is known for its comfortable fleece sweatpants and sweatshirts, often featuring the iconic beaver emblem of Canada. Customers praise the amazing customer service and friendly staff who go out of their way to assist shoppers. The store layout is well-organized, offering a pleasant shopping experience even during peak tourist seasons.
Roots in Banff is a must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts. We Found some amazing pieces at Roots. The store offered an excellent selection of gear and clothing for hiking, skiing, and more. The staff were friendly and offered great advice. I'lI definitely be back! It’s a beautiful store. It’s also located on Banff Ave so you will have some great views!
Lina H — Google review
I used to like Roots a lot. But today I found one of the sweater which I only worn couple times and washed once pilling seriously, and the pill sticks everywhere with my other cloths. I went to the shop and ask if there's anything I did wrong to it. The staff said the only thing she can tell me is to wash it in laundry bag with cold water and flat dry, which I've told her I did. I asked her what can I do with this one which is already pilling badly? just throw it away and never buy your sweater again? and she said yes If you like. I have to say the customer service and cloth quality was too disappointing for such a famous brand. That's all.
Kathy C — Google review
Staff were ready to help us find what we needed. Prices were standard for Roots quality pieces. The staff were not knowledgeable about Indigenous Status cards and were not aware of the tax exemption attached to it. Not sure if that is common for more places in Banff or not, only one store we entered knew about them.

Nestled in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, Jolene's Tea House is a charming mountain retreat that invites tea lovers to explore its unique hand-blended varieties. With over 60 flavors to choose from, including delightful options like wild blueberry rooibos and alpine peppermint, there's something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy their teas in loose leaf or sachet form, or opt for the adorable 'Tea House' box featuring 15 curated tea bags.
I had an amazing London fog at a couple places around town and they were made with tea from Jolene’s so I had to go check it out and buy some to take home. The creamy earl grey is the best I’ve ever had. No sugar or sweetener needed you just steep it in hot milk of your choice. It’s apparently already mixed with vanilla and just so creamy and delicious. Can’t wait to try all the other teas I took home with me!

Such a beautiful teahouse! I’ve been following this company for a while now on Instagram and finally had the pleasure to visit them during my trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Let me start by saying that the store is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. The service/staff was very nice and helpful (I believe it was a French girl, sorry I didn’t grab the name) - absolutely loved her energetic and enthusiastic attitude! We tried a couple of teas there in the store, took a couple home and will definitely reorder! Great quality and very fresh!

The Fairmont Banff Springs, previously known as the Banff Springs Hotel, is a historic establishment situated in Banff, Alberta, Canada. This hotel is located within the boundaries of Banff National Park and offers picturesque views of Mount Rundle and a nearby valley. On another note, I recently had a delightful encounter with Canada Goose at Cascade Banff. The dedicated staff members, particularly Oksana, provided excellent service by assisting me in selecting the perfect parka.
We’ve visited the Canada Goose store in Banff twice in the last six months, and each time, the experience has been fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful without being pushy, which makes shopping here a pleasure. We’ve purchased multiple jackets from this location, and the quality is top-notch—one of our favorite brands! Even my husband, who is 6’5”, has no issues with sleeve length, thanks to the knowledgeable staff who always find the perfect fit. Highly recommend this store for anyone looking for premium outerwear and excellent customer service!

My wife and I visited the store last week and left with an Elba puffy. A pretty English lady with chin-length hair whose name I think was Kae (according to my receipt) helped us. She was super patient and lovely. No hard sell and in fact, she gently steered me away from some of the jackets I had my eye on because they were too warm for the temperatures I needed (even though they were more expensive!). Her excellent service made the difference and we bought a jacket spontaneously. If the store had a wider selection we might have found something for my wife too.
El A — Google review
I love it here! Will definitely come back here every time I can. The layout is amazing and everyone was so accommodating. I recommend looking for Evelyn (let her know I sent you). She had introduced me to her own personal favourites and what she believes I would prefer based on the apparel I gravitated on. Evelyn would even describe every single jacket I touched. We tried on several jackets and she even pulled out every colour available to let me choose, as well as the different sizes I'd like to check for fitting. She never made me feel like I had to buy a jacket just because of how much time she spent on me. She felt like my shopping bestie! My boyfriend even laughed at me for trying to tip her. 😅 Overall, great customer service! Thank you, Canada Goose. Special thanks to Evelyn!

I'm writing to commend two of your associates, Romeo and Zoe, who assisted my sister and me during our visit in May 2025. They were both exceptionally helpful and friendly, making our shopping experience truly pleasant. Their outstanding service is a significant asset to your store.

I walk in with my family without knowing what we need. Upon entering the store, we were greeted with very warm welcomes from the store associates. I was wondering around just trying to figure out if I need arctic grade -5°C apparels since we are from Texas 38° C. Sales associate name “G” first notice we are traveling with my 2 kids. He made sure they are distracted so me and my wife can shop without distractions. He patiently explained the different type of temperature scales. We even got to experience the “freeze room” when another associate told us it’s broken. It’s not. We walk out with 2 Arctic jackets. I don’t even know when I can wear it in Texas. G provided a perfect experience for me and my family and made 2 great sales.
Hef321 H — Google review
We were visiting Banff from New York for a couple of days and visited this store during that time. I forgot the name of the lady who assisted us, but she was very patient and helped my husband to try different styles and colors and gave us details about each of them. We thought that the flagship store at Calgary would be having more variety compared to the Banff downtown store, but we were wrong. This store also has quite a good amount of collection and very nice staff to assist. They also have Cold room which was temperature controlled and my husband tried 2-3 jackets and the lady adjusted the temperature as per his request to test the jackets. Quite helpful to pick the right one.
Ruchi D — Google review
This store is terrific. The moment we entered the store we were approached by a young woman who was interested in helping us by asking about our interests. She did not in any fashion push us or seem to be more interested in making a sale rather than assisting us. We asked her name, Tallulah Davies. Her knowledge of the product I was looking at was complete and she presented it clearly. We entered the store without any thoughts to purchasing a thing. Just looking. We walked out after spending $682. This wouldn’t have occurred except for Tallulah’s professionalism. She is definitely an asset.

Don’t deal with Thomas from this location (Banff) of chateau mountain sports - he directly misled our group of 6 about the return policy and then overcharged us without any discussion. While he clearly lacks any sort of intelligence or critical thinking skills, he is also rude and solely is the reason we will not be renting from here in the future. I have already ensured that my other friends for a trip next weekend will be picking another establishment for rentals. Management will ought to have a serious word with Thomas or risk losing many more customers going forward because of his childish antics.

The boots they provided were the best fitting ski boots I’ve ever worn - thanks to the staff member’s concern for me and figuring out what would fit my feet perfectly. Most reliable and amazing customer service I have ever experienced. I wish I could give more than five stars for the above and beyond service we received from the staff. We biked to Banff from Canmore, on our way back my sister damaged her bike. The staff at chateau mountain sport dove all the way to banff to help us resolve the issue. I would highly recommend this place to anyone because they care greatly about their customers.
Gracia T — Google review
We came to return our ski, and they told us we had caused damages to every ski resulting in a 50$ fine per each. They claimed to have given us the ski in perfect condition and we brought it back with these damages. This is impossible as we only ski for less than 5 hours and only went on green routes. I ski every week and know as a fact that this is not possible. The store manager told us that if we had rented for 4 more days then these charges will be disregarded. This is a total scam, I would not recommend this ski shop to anyone. They are trying to take advantage of you by making you pay the “damage” or making you rent for more days. Take a picture of your ski before you leave the shop!!!

They didn’t have my preferred size in stock so Gayle shipped the item from the Jasper location to Toronto (where I’m from) without charging me shipping! She was super helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Quality of the jacket is 10/10 and it also came with a free tote!

I had a really great shopping experience here with Jess (it was a few weeks ago so the name may be wrong - apologies), a very helpful Kiwi girl. The shirt I thought, at first, was a bit expensive for me (being here on a work and holiday visa), now though I see that the price is absolutely worth the quality. The shirt is so soft and warm, the only one problem with it is I struggle to wear it as my girlfriend likes it just as much as I do! Make sure to wash on a cold and delicate spin cycle, and hang dry to ensure longevity of the product. Recommended as a souvenir, or gift: the timeless classic Canadian lumberjack shirt will give me memories of this wonderful place for years to come.

One of the worst customer services here. They employees didn’t show respect in there tones and body language. They were belittling us thinking we are too broke to buy anything in the store. One of the ladies gave the un willing expression when I asked for her to get boots of a different colour in the back. She asked if the price was ok in the tone like we can’t afford such luxury’s like they are superior to me.

Rarely write a review if it’s a negative one especially for a small business but after my experience I had to take a look at their other reviews. their staff’s customer service/attitude is clearly a problem since others have commented on it. I went there to browse a few of their items when I went to go put one of the wrist cuffs back on the flimsy mannequin hand it tilted and fell, to which I immediately went to go pick up. In that short time, an old blonde lady staff member in front of everyone let out a huge exaggerated sigh making it clear she was annoyed that me and my sister were there. I was baffled by the attitude of the worker, never have I received such nasty attitude in any store (designer or boutique). This is clearly a reoccurring attitude problem from this business, I wouldn’t recommend anyone step foot in this store.

The Asian sales rep called me and my friend " funny" in front of our face, just because we are Asian and she thought we didn't speak English. And after I told her "we do, and even if we don't, it's not something funny." She yelled at me! I was very shocked and don't recommend this store, entirely due to the sales representative/possible the owner of the store. BTW, their stuff is all made in China. Not local at all. You can get the same stuff from China online for much much lower price.

The Bare Moose gift shop is a great place to find unique gifts for all occasions. From coffee mugs to keychains, they have something for everyone. They also carry a variety of clothing and accessories, so you can complete your outfit perfectly.
Great accommodation with plenty of perks. Cafe has great food and specialty coffee drinks. Staff was excellent!! Can also arrange sightseeing trips.
Heather T — Google review
Really small. You can make the loop through the store in 30 steps. Staff was friendly. They do have some good quality long sleeved shirts. It's an ok store, just small.
Steve H — Google review
Terrible customer service. They have all the same things as the other shops so go elsewhere. And, if you do happen to buy something, make sure you get a receipt because they won't return or give store credit. They offer to not give you a receipt and then won't honor the sale if you change your mind.
James D — Google review
Seems like product is getting weaker and weaker over the years. Some cool items, however you can find them in the big city much cheaper. Used to love this store and was a staple when we went to Banff, might get cut after this year.

Delightful shop - gorgeous selection of clothing - shirt, scarves, hats, gloves, coats. Stop in and browse but make sure you feel the amazing soft texture of their items. The staff was professional and friendly. They welcomed guests to browse. The atmosphere was very warm and relaxed. We visited both locations at the Fairmont Banff Spring hotel and Banff Village.

Cascade Shops is a large and well-maintained shopping mall with a variety of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. It's decorated with the Canadian Ski Museum West Displays and is a great place to spend a day shopping or enjoying some food. The 25th anniversary celebration was perfect!
B level bathrooms, but still decent. Lots of chain restaurants. No parking of course
Alex M — Google review
I love having this mall on Banff's main road. It adds a touch of city life to provide some conveniences for tourists and locals. You get a small food court along with reprieve from the Rockies winter cold. There's some nice branded stores here along with a pharmacy and Dollarama.
Victor L — Google review
Nice clean mall with a food court. Great for hiding out and taking a break during the rain and cold weather. No parking at the mall. Paid street parking or park free by the Visitor Center and walk 5-10 mins to downtown.
