Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Star City is a well-known amusement park in Pasay that offers an exciting mix of thrilling rides and entertaining attractions suitable for all ages. The park features a variety of experiences, from adrenaline-pumping roller coasters to family-friendly carousels, ensuring there's something for everyone. In addition to the rides, visitors can enjoy live shows, game stalls, and delicious dining options. It's a perfect destination for a fun-filled day out with loved ones.
My visit to Star City last November was nothing short of unforgettable! I had such an amazing time, and the experience was made even better by the fact that the park wasn’t too crowded when we went. It allowed me to fully enjoy everything without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. One of the standout features of my visit was the interactive museum. It was such a fun and engaging experience! I really loved how hands-on it was, and there were so many interesting exhibits to explore. It’s not often that you find a museum that can be both educational and entertaining, and Star City really nailed it. (Coz i love museums) As for the rides and attractions, I had a blast trying out all the major ones. From thrilling roller coasters to more laid-back experiences, there was something for everyone. Each ride was unique and fun in its own way, and I loved the variety the park had to offer. The atmosphere in the park was fantastic too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that they really take pride in providing visitors with a great experience. Overall, my time at Star City was an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to come back in the future! If you're looking for a fun, well-rounded amusement park with something for everyone, I highly recommend visiting Star City. ✨

This place is perfect for family bonding and if you are into extreme rides you'll definitely enjoy this place. They also offer lockers for only 20php per hour. They also have different kinds of attraction for kids and even kids by heart will enjoy this. Kids also can enjoy in this place because they also have rides for kids but some of rides have a height limit.
Marielle T — Google review
There was a typhoon when we went so the outdoor rides were temporarily closed. We enjoyed the indoor rides but felt that there were fewer rides compared to when I went there in my childhood. I miss the blizzard coaster as well. When the weather became good for a while, some rides started to operate, my favorite was the Star Frisbee! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the Star Flyer and Ferris Wheel due to the sudden heavy rain. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time there!
Jim M — Google review
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Star City, and it was such a fun and memorable day! The rides, lights, and friendly staff made the experience extra special. A bit crowded, but totally worth it — she had an amazing time!
Nico A — Google review
We finally visited Star City after it closed due to the fire in 2019, even though my son was able to go with his grandparents back in 2022 when it reopened. Most of the ride names have changed, like Vikings, which is now called Sea Horse, and Wild River, which is now Jungle Splash. They also have new 3D attractions. And, in fairness, the food prices inside are quite affordable—not too pricey. We also bought tickets from Klook for a discount, and we had a separate entrance so we didn't have to queue in line. Surprisingly, Star City was not crowded even though it was a Saturday.
Irish F — Google review
Its bigger than what I expect, indoor and outdoor all of it was good and well maintained, got food and snacks you can choose, a lot of merchandise stalls, ticket price is great for all of this entertainment, plentiful of games you can spend whole day here but pls stop having sealife shows, we could have much better options than using animals as entertainment.
Jiawen C — Google review
I visited this place with my cousins. I was lucky because they had a promo for birthday celebrants this month, and since it’s my birthday, I got free entry and access to all the rides. It was such a good experience!” 🎉🎂✨
Alex K — Google review
I remember Star City being way bigger than what it actually is - but I visited way way back, potentially 15 years ago so understood many things have changed. Nonetheless, it was still a magical place especially for the kids who enjoyed everything and the adults also who had their fair share of fun. I recommend purchasing tickets in advanced to avoid long queues! Will be back again if given the chance.

Park
Manila Ocean Park is a must-visit aquatic theme park and educational facility in Manila. It offers hands-on activities, an oceanarium with over 14,000 aquatic creatures from 270 species, including sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, and the first penguin facility in the country. The park also features live shows, exhibits, and an amusement park area. It's a great place for families to explore and learn about marine life while enjoying entertaining experiences.
We had a great time at Manila Ocean Park! The Oceanarium was beautiful — lots of sea creatures to see and learn about. The Water Park is perfect for kids — my child had so much fun splashing around and cooling off. We bought our tickets online in advance, which helped us save a bit — highly recommend doing that for discounts and less hassle. Just a heads-up: food inside is quite expensive, so if you're on a budget, consider eating before you go. Overall, it’s a fun and educational day trip, especially for families with kids!
Ivy C — Google review
MAY 2025 - We recently visited Manila Ocean Park, and it was a mix of good experiences and some frustrations. The Oceanarium tunnel is definitely the highlight — it’s beautiful to walk through and see all the fish and marine life swimming overhead. The penguin encounter was also fun, but it comes with an additional fee aside from the regular ticket. The same goes for the shark and stingray encounters — they sounded exciting, but again, there’s an extra charge if you want to try them. One real downside was the sea lion show. The auditorium was extremely hot and uncomfortable, and we ended up leaving before the show even started. That part of the park could really use better ventilation or fans to make it bearable for visitors. Overall, the park is worth seeing at least once, especially for families with kids who will enjoy the tunnel and animal encounters. Just be prepared for extra fees, crowded areas, and some uncomfortable spots. With a bit more upkeep and guest comfort improvements, this could easily be a much better experience. Tips: • Budget extra if you want to do encounters like penguins, sharks, or stingrays. • Bring water and a fan, as some areas can get very hot. • Go early in the day to avoid the heaviest crowds.
Mleonacarrie — Google review
Although some facilities, windows, among other aspects of the place could use some cleaning and/or renovation to be kept in better shape, I would rate my experience good overall. As expected from a weekend visit, there was a sizable crowd even before afternoon. Tickets can be bought online via Klook or bought and printed on-site via automated kiosks and counters available at the entrance. Inside were a variety of fish and other assortment of creatures alike to be seen though, as mentioned earlier, the premises are definitely beginning to show its age. Also available are the penguin feeding, sea lion show, and other things kids and adults alike will enjoy. Check-in via Hotel H2O is also an option for those wishing to have an overnight stay or longer, and there are a variety of food options and restaurants alike in the venue.
Perci H — Google review
The park has improved a lot since our last visit in 2018! There are several new attractions and activities to enjoy now. I’m not sure if there have been any changes inside the Oceanarium itself since we focused on trying the new experiences, like the Biodome, which we really enjoyed. There’s also a play area and a cute ride that kids (and kids-at-heart) will love. Overall, it was a fun and refreshing visit — definitely worth checking out again!
Joyful R — Google review
Very fun to see everything they had, although not a ton of things. The best parts of the park was the lion show and feeding the penguins. If you have younger ones perfect place for them to explore and not be so overwhelmed by crowds. Worth seeing for the affordability.
Winston W — Google review
The oceanarium and world of crawling creeps is aight, not too bad but not the best either, but if you'd like to see fishes I'd still recommend it, but the reason I gave this a 2 star review because of the horrendous quality and program of the all star bird show with reptiles on the side, seal talent show, I do appreciate the talent displayed by the animals and them trainers, but damn, the place is horrible man, seeing the swimming people from Hotel H²O was distracting enough while the show was going on, and this entire thing only has 2 speakers on the left side, and it's really botched up sound quality jesus, I literally can't understand everything the host said, on top of it's broken sound, there's a background music playing loudly consistently that it's literally not helping with the already horrible quality of the place, and damn people really do just come and go whenever they want even though the show already started blocking the already tiny view you have with what's going on, you can see everything that happened in the vids, plus the snack bar at the side, horrible popcorn man, ain't heated and it's got this stale chewy rubbery texture, well at this point I'm sure that the popcorn ain't even freshly cooked. And another thing to add, it was originally cloudy when the show started, and a lil after 30 minutes the sun showed up shining rays, literally the half towards the front seats are exposed dude, talk about horrible events place build, why would you only build half a roof in that thing?, imagine the people sitting there getting barbecued at 12 noon, they suddenly stood up and left them seats, blocking the damn view of the talent show of the seal, man I love the talent, animals, trainers, and props to the workers, but the management of this thing is just not good bro. If y'all want to see fishes, check out the oceanarium. But the show outside and it's prices, I wouldn't recommend it.
Dao T — Google review
We visiting the digital art museum which was nice, but not really worth the money as you can see everything in about 20 minutes. The exhibits are interesting and the kids enjoyed it. Entrance is not well signposted as you're greeted by a gaudy Eiffel tower ride which does little to promote local culture and there's so much trash in the parking, run down toilets, and food places are closed or just junk. I'm sure this place was great when it opened, but sadly the lack of maintenance and poor management let's this place down. Sayang.
Sam E — Google review
Manila Ocean Park has potential as a family attraction, but the experience can be disappointing in some areas. The penguin exhibit, which should be a highlight, is difficult to enjoy because the glass is often foggy and unclear due to humidity. This makes it hard to actually see the penguins, which is frustrating given the premium ticket price. Another issue is the ticketing area—there’s no air-conditioning, and the wait can be uncomfortable, especially during peak hours. For a tourist destination of this scale, the entry process could definitely be better organized and more guest-friendly. One tip: it’s much better to purchase tickets in advance through platforms like Klook. You can skip the long lines and head straight inside, which saves a lot of time and avoids the uncomfortable waiting area. Overall, while the park has some interesting attractions, the execution and facilities need improvement to make the visit more enjoyable and worth the cost

Museo Pambata, situated in Manila near Rizal Park, is a unique interactive museum tailored for children. It features eight themed rooms that cover various topics such as environment, old Manila, career options, love for the planet Earth, human body, marketplace dynamics, global village and child rights. Unlike traditional museums where artifacts are kept behind glass shelves, Museo Pambata encourages hands-on exploration through its exhibits.
Museo Pambata is a vibrant and engaging space perfect for children and families. The newly installed Classroom of the Future is a standout feature, offering an interactive and imaginative experience that sparks curiosity and creativity. The museum is surrounded by vivid colors that create a playful and inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Every area is well maintained, and the entire place is consistently clean, including the comfort rooms. Museo Pambata continues to be a wonderful destination for learning through play, blending education and fun in a space that’s both inspiring and thoughtfully designed.

Price: 300Php at the time of writing (Adults and Children) Summary: Cleanliness and ambiance 7/10 Installation Quality and Safety Factor 6/10 Staff and Service 6/10 Price 6/10 The location is a brisk walk to Rizal Park if you are near the area. I first visited this Museum when i was in gradeschool and remembered that there’s an exhibit at the 2nd floor. Currently, that area is already closed. There’s a washroom inside and the surroundings of the museum (inside) are relatively clean. There’s an area for workshops and works of children are displayed. Inexorably, outside the Museum, there’s a lot of beggars, can’t say whether there are pickpockets, so just be on your guard when visiting. They have a playground and garden. Most of the interactive exhibit is not working, no sound, no lights. There are real musical intruments (which is good to be part of the exhibit), however the way it was installed is not secured and it dropped while one of us are playing with it. The staff are friendly during admission, but there were no special briefing before going inside, they will just tell you what time they will close. Some staffs are also there to volunteer to take your photos. We went during Manila Day(Holiday), the admission is free for Manila residents, that explains why there’s quiet a crowd when we went. I believe that there’s a souvenir shop but wasn’t able to go there or we thought that it was closed. I believe that IF the price is cheaper, it will be worth it —- because most of the exhibits are not working or turned off when we visited. But in terms of content, overall there’s good amountbof information on the exhibits and the concept is there.

I just visited recently just to reminisce my mem’ries here when I was young, it feels nostalgic. The only functioning right now is the ground floor with limited rooms accessible since the museum is under “revitalization“ after the pandemic. The room with national heroes and pahiyas festival stays the same, nothing has changed since 2005. I hope they will bring back its glory with interactive playgrounds and stuffs. ❤️
Joao R — Google review
This is a privately owned museum that features different themes. It’s worth 250.00 per adult. While any kid would be happy to tinker along its many displays, it feels that it was stuck in time and has seen its glory days. We hope they get an upgrade.
Abigail F — Google review
Eve though there are couple of nice pieces like helicopter and tram, overall museum is very “tired” and requires significant renovation: interactivity buttons do not work, ac is limited and overall expositions are outdated. Mind museum is a way better

Love the experienced we had in this museum. Kinda pricey however all the rooms that we've been through were indeed worth it. LIKES: Spacious- alot of rooms filled with things for learnings, Well lighted, well ventilated, parking space were good, allowed phone cameras and selfie stick inside the museum DISLIKES: Kinda Pricey for a small grup

The Upside Down Museum is a 1,700-sq.-ft. illusion museum featuring upside down, leaning, floating & giant exhibits. It offers an out-of-this-world experience in each room, challenging visitors to see the world from a different perspective. Inspired by attractions in other countries, this Instagram-worthy museum defies gravity with backward, inside-out, and upside-down displays that challenge imagination and creativity.
When planning a trip to a new location or destination, you always seem to be looking for ways to entertain yourself and have fun in the way the locals do. In Manila, we looked at quite a few ways of having fun and also doing something we have never done before! The Upside Down Museum gave us the opportunity to get a lot of photos and also create memories like never before. The museum is very affordable and also worth a try!
Willem J — Google review
I expected the place to be big but it was just a one wide place wherein you could find a spot and explore your imagination and take photos. Good thing there are personnel from each post who can guide you on better poses. We went there on a normal day, Friday, unfortunately, on the same schedule of a "Field Trip" with some students so it was overcrowded. We had a limited time taking photos due to long queues. Not looking at the overcrowded issue, overall, the structures/designs were good. We enjoyed taking photos and looking the effects (upside down) after, though I guess the Php450 entrance fee is too high for this attraction. Good place for kids and kids-at-heart! 😊

Amazing! The staffs are friendly and will immediately take the initiative to take pictures of you. They also suggest whats the best pose for you and your company. I love the idea of the museum. Plus, stuffs hanging are all real. Like wow. Entrance fee 450.

Upside Down Museum offers a unique and interactive experience perfect for those looking for something different and entertaining. However, visitors should be prepared for potential crowds and consider the relatively short duration of the visit compared to the entrance fee. Pros of the Upside Down Museum: Unique Experience: The Upside Down Museum offers a one-of-a-kind and immersive experience, allowing visitors to explore optical illusions and mind-bending exhibits. Interactive: Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the exhibits, making it a fun and engaging destination for people of all ages. Great for Photography: The museum's creative and surreal setups provide an excellent backdrop for photography, making it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy pictures. Indoor Activity: It's an indoor attraction, making it suitable for both rainy and sunny days, ensuring that it can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. Cons of the Upside Down Museum: Crowded: Due to its popularity, the museum can get quite crowded, especially during weekends and holidays, leading to long wait times and difficulty in capturing photos without other visitors in the frame. Limited Duration: The visit to the Upside Down Museum can be relatively short, as there are a limited number of exhibits, and visitors may find that they go through the museum quickly. Entrance Fee: Some visitors may consider the entrance fee relatively high for the duration of the experience. Not Suitable for Everyone: The museum's optical illusions and upside-down rooms may not be suitable for individuals who suffer from motion sickness or have certain medical conditions. #UpsideDownMuseum #InteractiveArt #OpticalIllusions #MindBendingArt #MuseumExploration #UniqueExperiences #ArtisticWonders #TrickArtMuseum #ManilaAttractions #VisualIllusions #CreativeFun #UpsideDownWorld #ImmersiveArt #ArtAndCulturePH #MuseumAdventures #MindTwistingArt #ManilaMuseum #MuseumMagic #ArtInManila #UpsideDownFun

One hell of a fun place this is. You have to have to visit this place if you are in Manila. You can easily spend an hour or two depending on how many of you go and what all do you try for upside down Better to take help from someone in how to position yourself and the camera to capture the effect in the right manner. Tickets are cheap but the place is located remotely so don't worry if you feel you are going nowhere, that's correct

If you are fond of testing your creativity and flexibility, you might find Upside Down Museum a great place to bond with your friends and family. My friend and I came here during an unexpected rain so we got a chance to take a lot of photos here without getting distracted by a lot of people. The staff were very kind enough to assist us whenever we need to take our photos together. They were great photographers as we never thought that it could be done creatively if we only rely on ourselves. Hahaha! Along with this, the attraction is always maintained cleaned by the staff. The only downside I can see on the place is their restroom. I just didn't expect that the restroom was like that. It should be improve and fix some of their locks. Overall, we had a great time with my friend in the Upside Down Museum and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to spend their time with their loved ones during rainy days. Oh I almost forgot. During our visit, the way in getting in the museum is really challenging due to bad weather so make sure to prepare yourselves.

The place is small but nice. I just think that they need a better location, somewhere more accessible. Tip to have good photos; ask assistance. They would tell you how to properly pose per spot. 450 pesos entrance fee is not bad considering that there is no time limit. Ps: girls, dont wear skirts or dresses so you could freely and comfortably move around. Have fun!

Went here to celebrate our Ate friend’s 50th birthday and we surprisingly had fun (the rest of us were in our mid 40s)! Highly recommended for bonding sessions with friends and family. We super loved the treats that came along with some rooms especially the ice cream all you can for 15 minutes! We made sure to taste all the flavors available 🫣🍦😍 Best to come on a weekday so that it’s not crowded, wear comfortable clothes (jeans and shorts recommended) to be able to enjoy exploring and posing on all the rooms, and easy on off shoes for areas that will require you to remove your footwear. Truly great to experience with people who are dear to your heart 🫶🏽

The Cultural Center of the Philippines is a vibrant hub dedicated to celebrating the rich tapestry of Filipino culture and performing arts. This esteemed venue hosts an array of events, from captivating Ballet Philippines performances to concerts that highlight the incredible talents of local artists. It's an essential stop for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the country's artistic heritage and experience its dynamic cultural scene firsthand.
Sharing some photos from my last visit to CCP, about three years ago. It’s still closed for renovation now, but this place will always hold a special spot for art and culture lovers. CCP has always been more than just a venue — it’s where creativity, film, and performance come together. I can’t wait to see how it looks once the restoration is done, but for now, these memories remind me of how inspiring it’s always been. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — a timeless home for Filipino art, just waiting to shine again. 🎥❤️

It is a good place to go to if you need a place to unwind. Also the use of different lights accentuates the beauty of the artworks. But, I went here during the redevelopment of the CCP, that's why the only floor that was open to the public is the third floor which is an art gallery hall. Nice experience even though I didn't get the full experience.

One of the prettiest sunsets ive seen in Manila! It was neat and well maintained. Its a good place to contemplate, relax, walk and even catch up with friends while seeing nature. There's only limited food options around which could be good to keep its cleanliness. On the other side, its a well known location for jogging and working out.

A great place for cultural & tourism events at Pasay City. It was conceived in 1966 when President Ferdinand Marcos issued Executive Order No. 60, establishing its board and arranging for his wife, First Lady Imelda Marcos to become chair of its board of directors.

Its a place where the Sagisag Marathon will be held. Hope I'll win something aside from the race. God Bless all runners who will participate and keep safe always. 07-09-23 It's still the same, lots of homeless people, while running along Pasay City. The only thing I can do is pray for them and hope that they will always be safe.😊🥰 During a fun run, the place is still smelly ahaha I'm not sure if it's because of a lot of industrial buildings around it. But I enjoyed running with strangers😊🥰

The place has been just recently reopened (September) and will be soon closed for renovation (since January 1, 2023) for at least 2 years. So hurry up if you want to see the exhibition of over 200 artworks and archival materials of Imelda Cajipe Endaya. The exhibition titled “Refusal and Hope, a Retrospective” can be viewed at the main gallery and adjacent hallways. It will last until December 4. The venue is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. The entrance is free of charge.

Incredible piece of architecture. Incredible interiors - not a thing i usually see. You can really say that there's an architect who worked on in here. Art appreciation. Filipino paintings. Exhibits. Ballets. Orchestra. The red floor carpet all throughout is a pleasure to walk into! The comfort rooms are clean. It's so quiet inside, and along with the collection of arts inside, that it makes the interior so "holy" or "creepy" and I think that's cool because this experience is really meant to touch your soul, consciousness. The miniature of the who complex is nice as well. I have always thought this place to be exclusive to elite people. But after stepping up the stairs and going thru the door, my perception changed; the place welcoming to everyone!

I used to jog in this place when I lived in Manila. It's relaxing in here. Many people comes to jog every morning and night or either just standby. I could still remember the breeze of air in this area and how relaxing it is just to sit down and chill during night, seeing people and vehicles move towards different directions.

The Art District is a vibrant and eclectic neighborhood filled with galleries, studios, and street art. It's a haven for artists and art enthusiasts, with its bohemian atmosphere and diverse range of artistic styles. The district is known for its colorful murals, contemporary sculptures, and avant-garde exhibitions. Visitors can explore the many unique shops and cafes, or take a guided tour to learn about the history and significance of the area.
Hidden inside the Calvo Building, two doors down from Uno Seafood. No outdoor signage. You need to go down the dark main entrance, check in with the security guard and climb stairs to the second level. Just about everything about the experience getting to the gallery makes you feel like a location scout for shooting a crime scene. Once at the second floor you will look about for someone to collect the 50 pesos to see the gallery and work your way though vacant rooms to what is on display. Quirky, sort of neglected, what seems to be a fledgling vanity project. Hopefully it will take off, maximise the use of the space and reach its potential.

Nature & Parks
Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a sprawling 57-hectare urban park located in the heart of Manila. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering lush lawns, vibrant gardens, and outdoor event spaces. The park is an ideal spot for picnics with its shady trees and expansive grassy areas.
Wow, Rizal Park is the absolute hottest place I've ever been. The sides are nice and shady with a decent breeze, which is a relief, but man, that central strip is just scorching! They've got a nice fountain in the middle of it all. You could probably kill half a day here checking out the history and wandering through the side parks. Just a heads up: try to go when it's cooler, because seriously, this place is HOT.

My boyfriend and I recently visited Rizal Park, and it was a refreshing and memorable experience. It had been 10 years since my last vacation in Manila, and seeing the park again was truly nostalgic. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing afternoon. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, open spaces, and historical monuments, including the iconic Rizal Monument. Since we visited on a weekday, it wasn’t very crowded, which made our experience even more enjoyable and peaceful. Rizal Park is suitable for families, couples, or anyone looking to experience a blend of history and greenery in the heart of Manila. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination that combines relaxation, culture, and history.

Luneta Park is a refreshing escape right in the heart of Manila. 🌳 Perfect for an early morning run or a peaceful walk, with wide open spaces, trees, and a touch of history everywhere you look. It’s clean, relaxing, and gives you that rare calm amid the city buzz. A timeless spot that reminds you why Manila is so special. 🇵🇭

I visited the park about 6:30 am and already there were plenty of people walking, stretching, exercising by themselves or in a groups. Big speakers in the whole park, music on, amazing energy! 🥰 Very clean with a few things to explore there. I definitely recommend this place to visit

Bringing my daughter here for the very first time was pure magic. I’ve visited many times myself, but seeing it through the eyes of a child is a totally different experience! As soon as we walked in and saw the massive, open green lawn, her little eyes went wide. She’s usually glued to her tablet, but here, she just dropped my hand and took off running! The sheer amount of safe, open space for her to burn off energy was a relief for me. Looking at her running around, I felt that amazing connection to Filipino history while she was just having the time of her life. Luneta isn't just a park. It's a piece of our heritage that also happens to be a perfect, budget-friendly family day out. It was a beautiful, successful first trip, and she’s already begging to go back!

Nice big park to go for a stroll and where you can learn about the history of the Philippines at the same time. But this is not just any old park, unfortunately it was also the place where many people were executed - some brave Priests who fought for the rights of the locals against the imperialists, and of course where national hero, Filipino nationalist, and inspiration for the fight against the Spanish Jose Riza was also publicly executed. It was interesting to read on the memorials their sacrifice. Also this is the park where in 1946 Philippines was finally declared an independent nation. So this park is important to the Philippine people and so respect and reverence is to be shown when walking around. It is a nice park and it is well laid out. Definitely worth a view

I visited Rizal Park, also known as Parke ng Rizal or Bagumbayan, on October 29, 2025. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have visited in Manila. The park is named after Dr. José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, who dedicated his life to the country’s freedom through his writings and sacrifice. This park stands as a reminder of his love for the Filipino people and his dream of an independent nation. The atmosphere of the park is calm and refreshing. I saw many people jogging, walking, and doing exercises early in the evening. The green grass, tall trees, and clean surroundings make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in the middle of the city. The dancing fountain with fire was the highlight of my visit — it was truly worth watching, especially after sunset. There is no entrance fee, which makes it accessible for everyone. The place is well-maintained, and security officers are visible throughout the area. Rizal Park is not just a tourist spot but also a space where history, nature, and everyday life meet beautifully. I highly recommend visiting this park to anyone coming to Manila.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Situated in the bustling streets of St. Elena and Soler Streets in Binondo, Chinatown, 168 Shopping Mall is a vibrant indoor shopping destination offering a wide array of products. With over 500 vendors, visitors can explore an extensive selection of casual clothing, home goods, toys, gifts, and decor at wholesale and retail prices. This bustling complex also features numerous dining options for shoppers to enjoy.
If you're looking for a place to buy cheap knock-off products and don’t mind a bit of a crowded atmosphere, this spot is a great find. The place is packed with stalls selling all kinds of items — from clothing and accessories to gadgets and household goods — at surprisingly low prices. While the quality of the products varies, you can usually find decent items if you take the time to inspect them closely. One of the best parts about shopping here is that you can haggle. Most vendors expect you to negotiate, so don’t be afraid to make an offer lower than the asking price. With a little patience and charm, you can often walk away with a better deal than you’d expect. The vendors are generally friendly, though some can be a bit pushy, especially during busy hours. The place can get a little tight, especially when it’s crowded, but it’s manageable if you don’t mind weaving through narrow aisles. It’s not the most organized spot, but that’s part of the charm — you never know what kind of hidden gems you might find. Overall, it’s a great spot for bargain hunters looking to score good deals without breaking the bank.

am quite familiar with the divisoria/binondo area, having worked there in the early nineties. The area still looks more or less the same with a hustle bustle of jeepneys, and many many shoppers. what was not around at that time was 168 shopping mall, which made it convenient for the shopper who no longer had to walk to visit different stores but could shop conveniently in one mall. We were there to hopefully pick up polo barong (gusot mayaman...or crumpled rich material..description of what material is) unfortunately, it seems that this style is slowly fading out so was difficult to find. The stores had short sleeve barong, but different material. It took some time to find exactly what I needed but at least the mall was air-conditioned. Some stores priced each at P1500 and you could negotiate price down but it was still pricey. Luckily, my wife was able to negotiate in other stores (Bridal and formal wear was available on different floors, LG,4, 6) so we got 4 for P700 each. Not bad considering i bought one at a regular department store in Makati 2 years for P5k. They had a lot of other stuff like boxer shorts though not easy to find but succeeded at P60 each. Divisoria has got everything you could possibly need at 1/10 the price. The area might look intimidating for those that are unfamiliar with the area but if you can, do shop there. It is an experience like no other and am quite fortunate to be very familiar with the area. Highly recommend

I visited this Shopping Mall in Divisoria on October 31, 2026. It was a great experience overall. The mall is large, air-conditioned, and filled with hundreds of stalls offering a wide variety of products such as clothes, bags, shoes, toys, and household items. What impressed me most was the price and quality — many items were much cheaper compared to other markets, yet the quality was surprisingly good. It is a perfect place for anyone who wants to shop for their home or gifts without spending too much. The sellers were polite and open to bargaining, especially when buying in bulk. The mall was quite crowded, but still organized enough to move around comfortably. However, I found one drawback during my visit — the condition of the comfort room. Only the urinal was working, and the toilet closet had neither toilet paper nor a health faucet, which was quite inconvenient. I hope the management improves this facility soon, as it would make the shopping experience even better. Despite this small issue, I truly enjoyed my visit. I recommend this Shopping Mall to anyone looking for affordable and quality items in Manila.

A highly strategic place for retail items as it is proximate to the sea ports of Manila. Warehouses are just around adjacent districts so items and wares are easily available and replenished. 168 makes it comfortable and convenient to shoppers. Huge parking spaces. Good cheap food with it's wide food court including Halal Muslim choices. ATM Machines are available near the food court. Establishments accepts cash, GCash, Alipay, Wechat. Be wary of pickpockets, count your change and be conscious when paying cash. Always bargain when buying
Elmo B — Google review
168 Mall is a vibrant, multi-story shopping mecca in the heart of Divisoria. What sets it apart is its air-conditioned comfort, a welcome respite from the bustling streets outside, and its generally more organized layout. You'll find an incredible array of goods here, from trendy clothing and accessories to electronics, toys, home decor, and party supplies, often at wholesale prices. It's a favorite for those looking to buy in bulk or find unique items without the intense haggling often associated with other Divisoria areas. Food courts on various levels offer a convenient refuel. While it can still get crowded, especially on weekends, 168 Mall offers a more modern and comfortable shopping experience compared to the traditional public markets in the area.
Anupam M — Google review
168 Shopping Mall isn’t your typical mall; it’s a bustling hub where hundreds of street shops converge. The area is lively but a tad crowded and can get a bit chaotic. If you’re driving, it’s best to leave your car behind. Expect narrow aisles, but you’ll find a complete range of items available. The prices are comparable to other popular malls like Divisoria and 999. It’s worth a visit if you want to explore what Manila has to offer! 🇵🇭 Remember, it’s not about luxury—it’s about the experience and the variety of goods you’ll encounter. Whether you buy something or simply soak in the atmosphere, 168 Shopping Mall provides a glimpse into local life. 🌆👗🛒 Enjoy your shopping adventure! 😊

The National Museum of Natural History is a stunning venue that showcases zoological, botanical, and geological specimens. It opened on International Museum Day and features the majestic Tree of Life in its courtyard. Visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view from the scenic elevator and explore galleries such as Mangroves, Beaches and Intertidal Zones, The Marine Realm, Natural Inheritance, and Temporary Exhibitions.
Entrance was free and you have to leave your bags and water bottles in their baggage counter. Honestly, the place is so nice. I’ve been to different museums and this one could definitely compete internationally. The structure inside is great and there are 5 floors in total. Totally worth the time.

I had a wonderful visit to the National History Museum of the Philippines. The exhibits were truly amazing, and the facility was very clean and well-maintained. The highlight for me was seeing "Lolong," the world's largest crocodile in captivity, as well as the impressive collection of turtles, which as a turtle enthusiast, I greatly appreciated. While parking can be a challenge, the museum is easily accessible. A great tip for visitors is that admission is free. A recent update has made it even better: the National Museum of the Philippines is now open seven days a week with free admission for all. This makes it an enjoyable and accessible visit for everyone.

Getting straight to the point.... Pros: 1. FREE ENTRANCE (wooohooo!) 2. Rich collection of historical and learning materials. 3. 5 floors worth of science and history! 4. The life-sized lolong piece is a must see! 5. FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED AIR-CONDITIONED 6. Instagrammable! Cons: 1. Some of the features were not functioning like the TVs and other visual aids which made the experience a bit lacking. 2. Some of the visitors were too noisy. Not recommended for people who like a more silent atmosphere. 3. Lack of navigational aids. You might get lost or confused if you are not that attentive or observant. We decided to start our tour from the lowest floor and go all the way up because there was no recommended starting point.

Very Instagrammable! 📸 Be prepared for a long walk when you visit, but good thing there are chairs around the building to rest. My eyes were so full with everything I saw and learned about the Philippines’ natural history. And yes, Lolong the crocodile is there! 🐊🇵🇭 Mas maganda pumunta ng weekdays para kakaunti ang tao. Free entrance, just present one valid ID for the whole group if you’re going with company. Vlogging is not allowed, selfie sticks are not allowed—just cellphones. Some elevators are closed, so be ready for a little extra walking. Worth it!

There is so much to see and learn about here, this museum is massive and it is just a delight. The curators have taken a lot of pride in laying this museum out and explaining the history of the biology and the geology of the Philippines. And while I know that doesn't sound incredibly interesting at first it actually is a lot of fun, I would definitely recommend this place and you can take your time enjoying it. There's also good aircon here as well.

I didn’t expect this museum to be so big! There’s so much to see on every floor — you could easily spend the whole day learning about the Philippines’ incredible biodiversity, wildlife, and ecosystems. It would be even better if they offered a map or audio guide in the future to make navigation easier. The building is clean, well-maintained, and comfortably cool, making it pleasant to explore even on a hot day. Highly recommend visiting this place.

The Central Bank Money Museum, managed by the Central Bank of the Philippines, offers a fascinating insight into the country's currency history and its economic and cultural evolution. Located within the Bangko Sentral Complex, this museum showcases a diverse collection of artifacts including rare coins and period-specific galleries that walk visitors through time with art installations and portraits of past governors. Despite some bureaucracy to enter, it's worth visiting to learn about the nation's numismatic heritage from Galleon Trade to present day.

Entrance to the museum is free but getting in required a lot of bureaucracy, which is typical in the Philippines. The museum is compact and easy to navigate. It only took us 1.5 hours to finish seeing all the exhibits. Taking pictures is allowed. It was interesting to see the artifacts on display, especially the currency used during the colonial years of the country. The captions next to the artifacts provide a lot of great information and I like that they are both in Filipino and English. There is also a small area dedicated to the currencies of the world. This museum is definitely worth a visit.

It was a good and fun experience for the kids, so many characters walking around and can take a picture with them anytime. A lot of attractions that I think even adults could enjoy (I enjoyed it). Tiring though, but it’s for the kids mainly. We spent almost 5 hours inside and the kids can’t get enough of the slides and the ball pits. The staff are nice and helpful.

Sulit if your kid is tall enough and likes extreme activities. It's also open up to 8pm and re-entry is allowed. When you get in go straight to the cooking class to register ahead, it gets full fast. It also helps to know the show times (ex puppet at 1pm, magic show at 3pm) Ice cream and some sweets available inside. They also have paid photo stations. AWESOME. This old museum has been rehabilitated and opened to the public just recently with improved attractions. Offers different shows on the exploration of the universe. The dome where they are shown comfortably seats around 70 people. Phones aren't allowed inside the dome but permitted in the gallery. Estimated queueing time is around 5–10 mins (went there Sat afternoon). Entrance to the exhibit gallery alone is free but asks for a minimal fee for the dome shows; you may choose to view only the gallery. + Dome shows are good + Still applicable for educational or recreational tours - Dome shows and gallery are the only attractions. They could've added more.

We walked around the exhibit after the show and it was interesting. Our Planetarium has great potentials but it's commendable as it is today.

Undeniably one of the most common field trip destinations during my childhood. The Manila Planetarium is renovated with new informative tools. It re-opened this year with a short walkthrough on astronomy. It give insights on how the stars guides us in navigation and agriculture. The well-lit walls and planets on the ceiling sparks a stellar experience. Admission is free for the gallery and the scheduled shows is paid for only P40. It opens at 10am and closes at 5:00pm from Tuesdays to Sundays.

I suggest for you to know the times of the dome shows because it's probably the most interesting thing the planetarium has to offer. We arrived late so we were not able to catch the dome show at 10:00, and we can't stay there until the next show which is 2:30, so we had no choice but to just roam around the planetarium. The planetarium is a good place to visit if you're interested in astronomy or if you want to learn about earth and space. The exhibits were okay. The place was dark. It is educational, and you can be finished roaming around the exhibits in around 10 minutes.

MOA Square is a clean and bustling mall in Pasay, known for being the home of the iconic IKEA. Most stores inside the mall offer a variety of home items such as appliances, furniture, and decorations. While the Swedish cafe tends to be crowded, there are limited but quality coffee shops available. The Swedish Restaurant is affordable with some menu items being more delicious than others.
This is a great mall, with great shops and great food. There is ice skating, crossbow and other experiences. Great Cinema. Also MOA is so big it doesn't really look crowded even with all the people
Roger F — Google review
It might be best to avoid going here on weekends, especially during holidays — the place gets overcrowded, almost like a stampede. That said, it's still a good place overall

Freds Revolucion-Escolta is situated in a 90-year-old building on the historic Escolta Street, offering stunning Art Deco views at sunset. The venue provides a laid-back and cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to unwind with a beer in hand and indulge in sinful bagnet (deep-fried pork belly).
Great chillspot tucked away from the usual crowded bars. Good food and selection of local crafts. Wish they offered ciders and hard seltzers, hopefully in the future
G T — Google review
Never gets old. Good music, beer, and food. Better with friends. Glad to have found this place in my early twenties. Love you always, Fred's!
Spongkki — Google review
There really ain't much to say about the place, good food, cold drinks, and chill atmosphere. Place is nice, cool, and bright, definitely the place you'd want to chill in when you're tired after work or just want to have a few drinks. Been drinking here for the past 7 years, never had any problems or any bad experiences. They've got your usual selection of beer staples with san miguel products plus a few craft beers from Pinatubo and Boondocks. They also have cocktails that can be served either in a glass or a pitcher na hindi tinipid, you can even watch them actually make it right at the bar. Food is definitely better than most other typical places you'd drink in. Common drinking pulutan like fries and onion rings are better than you'd expect but if you're gonna eat might as well just go and eat dinner too cause all of the things in their menu are definitely a must try especially if you get there on the right day when they have either baboy damo or usa. You'd want to check their social media accounts too cause they frequently have some sort of event or meets happening all the time in collaboration with different groups or The Hub just next door. If you've never heard or seen Escolta block party before, you might want to look it up.

Cool place to hang out in after a long day walking around Chinatown or Divisoria. Not a posh lounge, but more like a homey barkada spot for some good alternative music, craft beers, and quirky fixtures. Lots of easter eggs that would be a joy for history buffs to discover.

Welcome to The Fun City - Ayala Malls Circuit, an expansive indoor playground that promises endless excitement for children and the young at heart! This vibrant space boasts a colossal inflatable obstacle course, a refreshing water play zone, and a creative sandbox. Kids can unleash their imaginations with giant Lego blocks or engage in hands-on fun at the interactive construction site. The Fun City also features a dance studio for those who love to groove, along with a basketball court equipped with rings of varying heights.
They increased the price but still affordable compared to other indoor playground. Best to go during weekdays. Also have karaoke room where you can sing max of 3 songs. Loved the backhoe. Fun place for kids and kids at heart.
Guia L — Google review
We had a fun day at Fun City Aya Circuit Mall! The kids had a blast and it was a fantastic outing with friends. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The toys are not well-sanitized and many of them are broken. The floors weren't swept properly, and some of the water area fountain toys were also broken. Given that most of the patrons are children, it's crucial to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the play area. Overall, despite these issues, it was a great day. The kids enjoyed themselves immensely, and we'll definitely be back once these maintenance issues are addressed.
Nadine C — Google review
Wow. I honestly don’t even know where to start with the absolute circus that happened at Fun City today, but buckle up because this deserves a whole post. So, me and my friend are there, having fun, literally minding our own business like normal, civilized human beings. Then out of nowhere, the staff struts over with the biggest attitude and says, “You need to leave because you don’t have a guardian.” Excuse me? WHAT? First of all, our guardian was literally still there in the building, just stepped away for, wait for it, TWO minutes to give a cover to my friend’s mom at Starbucks. You know, being helpful, doing something responsible. And guess what it was for? A BABY. A BABY! Not a shopping spree, not a road trip, not running to another city—literally to help with a BABY. But apparently, that tiny detail was too much for the staff to comprehend because instead of, I don’t know, using common sense like, “Okay, cool, they’re fine for two minutes,” they decided to act like they just discovered the biggest crime of the century. They didn’t stop there either. Oh no. They went full-on soap opera, called the MANAGER over, and then had a little meeting like, “What should we do with them?” Like, hello? Do with us? We’re two kids sitting there doing absolutely nothing wrong. It’s not like we were climbing the walls, throwing balls at people, or running a black-market candy business. The way they stared us down, the dramatic tone, the whispering—it was giving full power trip energy. I’m surprised they didn’t pull out a megaphone and announce to the entire place: “Attention everyone! We have two UNSUPERVISED CHILDREN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!” Honestly, the level of overreaction was so extra it could’ve won an Oscar. All of this because our guardian, who was THERE, had the audacity—the NERVE—to walk a few feet away to hand a cover to my friend’s mom. So congratulations, Fun City staff. You officially turned what should’ve been a fun day into the most awkward, unnecessary, and embarrassing moment ever. If your goal was to make us feel like we committed a federal crime for existing alone for 120 seconds, mission accomplished. Maybe instead of calling the manager over something so ridiculous, you should call someone to teach you how to chill out. Fun City? More like NO Fun City.

We frequently visit playhouses like kidzoona and kindercity, but our visit here in fun city Ayala circuit turned out to be a disappointment. Daming sirang play area. The fishing area no longer has fish toys, the fishing rods are already broken, the excavator which our son loves, is also broken. When I asked their staff about it, she said "matagal ng sira yan sir. Busy and maintenance. Hindi mapuntahan."
Leonardo A — Google review

Please do not waste your time and money here. Very MASUNGIT staff. There was a man sleeping on the cushions for HOURS. MUSTY AND STUFFY smell all over. DARK lighting. Equipment are dated and not working. 560 pesos -- same price as premium places but super low quality.
Fritz M — Google review
They refused to honor my 5-year-old daughter’s temporary PWD ID issued by the DSWD/Barangay. The first time, it was just the two of us—they said they only accept the official ID with a date and expiration. This was disappointing, especially since we've used the same ID without issue at places like Jollibee, McDonald’s, and other play areas in SM and Robinsons Manila. We decided to try again today, this time with my wife present—but sadly, we got the same response. Why the inconsistency? It’s disheartening when others recognize and respect the ID, but this particular establishment chooses not to.

“SM by the Bay is a popular spot for relaxation and leisure, with a wide stretch of restaurants, rides, and a scenic view of Manila Bay. It’s a nice place for family bonding, jogging, or simply enjoying the sunset. Can get crowded on weekends, but the atmosphere is lively and fun.”
Galileo A — Google review
If you go early in the morning, it’s great for jogging or just enjoying a peaceful walk before the crowd sets in. It’s also one of those places where you can catch the sunset. While the vibe can be romantic with views of the ocean, the experience is kind of ruined by the construction happening right across. Not the best backdrop if you're looking for a scenic moment. It’s best to avoid the place on weekends though, as it gets overly crowded. That said, you’ll find people biking, strolling along the seawall, or simply taking photos near the MOA eye.
Patricia C — Google review
SM By the Bay is a decent spot to chill and take a walk, especially if you just want open space after being inside the mall—but manage your expectations. What’s good: Plenty of room to stroll, sit, and unwind after shopping or dining. Best moments are really the sunrise and sunset—golden light, sea breeze, and a nice, calm vibe if you catch it at the right time. Lots of casual food options around and easy access back to the mall if you need AC or a quick break. What’s not so great: On many days, mabaho talaga—the bay smell can be strong, especially when it’s hot or the wind is still. Mainit at kulang sa lilim mid-day; shade is limited, so standing around doesn’t feel relaxing. Wala masyadong view beyond the water and passing boats; if you’re expecting scenic coastline or city skyline shots, you might be underwhelmed. Pro tips: Come early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and catch the best light. Bring water/umbrella/cap, and plan a quick cool-down inside the mall after your walk. If you’re here just to wait for a moment worth seeing, sunrise or sunset are the only times I’d recommend. Bottom line: A good place to chillax if you time it right, but be ready for the heat and occasional smell. For me, it’s worth a stop only for the sunrise/sunset window—outside of that, there isn’t much of a view and it can get uncomfortably warm.
Jose Z — Google review
Great beach front view, but the beach is no longer there? Some rides available but seems to be many people. I dare say very cheap for foreigners and affordable for locals. Watch the sunset across the horizon. Access to sm via the bridge, has a hidden escalator for pwd or prams. Worth a visit.

The boat by the bay experience was amazing. For only 200 pesos and it would be nice to give tips esp that you can ask the attendants to take pictures. Well, there are a lot of experiences by the bay even in the night. We rented a bike, played some games and had lovely snacks.

SM by the Bay is a vibrant leisure and entertainment destination located along the scenic Manila Bay in Pasay City. It offers a refreshing open-air alternative to traditional malls, perfect for both locals and tourists seeking a mix of relaxation, shopping, and fun. The area features a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, offering everything from local Filipino dishes to international cuisine. One of its main attractions is the amusement park, home to the iconic MOA Eye, a giant Ferris wheel that provides stunning views of the bay—especially at sunset. Visitors can enjoy family-friendly rides, playgrounds, and interactive activities, making it an ideal destination for families with kids. The baywalk promenade is another highlight, perfect for evening strolls, photography, or simply watching the sunset. Events like live music, cultural festivals, and food fairs are frequently held, adding to its vibrant atmosphere. Shopping options include both global brands and local artisans, offering a blend of style and culture. Clean, accessible, and well-maintained, SM by the Bay delivers a complete experience for all ages. Whether you're up for thrill rides, a romantic date, or just some peaceful downtime, this seaside complex is worth a visit. It’s where city life meets coastal charm.
