Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Star City is a well-known amusement park in Pasay that offers an exciting mix of thrilling rides and entertaining attractions suitable for all ages. The park features a variety of experiences, from adrenaline-pumping roller coasters to family-friendly carousels, ensuring there's something for everyone. In addition to the rides, visitors can enjoy live shows, game stalls, and delicious dining options. It's a perfect destination for a fun-filled day out with loved ones.
My visit to Star City last November was nothing short of unforgettable! I had such an amazing time, and the experience was made even better by the fact that the park wasn’t too crowded when we went. It allowed me to fully enjoy everything without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. One of the standout features of my visit was the interactive museum. It was such a fun and engaging experience! I really loved how hands-on it was, and there were so many interesting exhibits to explore. It’s not often that you find a museum that can be both educational and entertaining, and Star City really nailed it. (Coz i love museums) As for the rides and attractions, I had a blast trying out all the major ones. From thrilling roller coasters to more laid-back experiences, there was something for everyone. Each ride was unique and fun in its own way, and I loved the variety the park had to offer. The atmosphere in the park was fantastic too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that they really take pride in providing visitors with a great experience. Overall, my time at Star City was an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to come back in the future! If you're looking for a fun, well-rounded amusement park with something for everyone, I highly recommend visiting Star City. ✨

This place is perfect for family bonding and if you are into extreme rides you'll definitely enjoy this place. They also offer lockers for only 20php per hour. They also have different kinds of attraction for kids and even kids by heart will enjoy this. Kids also can enjoy in this place because they also have rides for kids but some of rides have a height limit.
Marielle T — Google review
There was a typhoon when we went so the outdoor rides were temporarily closed. We enjoyed the indoor rides but felt that there were fewer rides compared to when I went there in my childhood. I miss the blizzard coaster as well. When the weather became good for a while, some rides started to operate, my favorite was the Star Frisbee! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the Star Flyer and Ferris Wheel due to the sudden heavy rain. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time there!
Jim M — Google review
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Star City, and it was such a fun and memorable day! The rides, lights, and friendly staff made the experience extra special. A bit crowded, but totally worth it — she had an amazing time!
Nico A — Google review
We finally visited Star City after it closed due to the fire in 2019, even though my son was able to go with his grandparents back in 2022 when it reopened. Most of the ride names have changed, like Vikings, which is now called Sea Horse, and Wild River, which is now Jungle Splash. They also have new 3D attractions. And, in fairness, the food prices inside are quite affordable—not too pricey. We also bought tickets from Klook for a discount, and we had a separate entrance so we didn't have to queue in line. Surprisingly, Star City was not crowded even though it was a Saturday.
Irish F — Google review
Its bigger than what I expect, indoor and outdoor all of it was good and well maintained, got food and snacks you can choose, a lot of merchandise stalls, ticket price is great for all of this entertainment, plentiful of games you can spend whole day here but pls stop having sealife shows, we could have much better options than using animals as entertainment.
Jiawen C — Google review
I visited this place with my cousins. I was lucky because they had a promo for birthday celebrants this month, and since it’s my birthday, I got free entry and access to all the rides. It was such a good experience!” 🎉🎂✨
Alex K — Google review
I remember Star City being way bigger than what it actually is - but I visited way way back, potentially 15 years ago so understood many things have changed. Nonetheless, it was still a magical place especially for the kids who enjoyed everything and the adults also who had their fair share of fun. I recommend purchasing tickets in advanced to avoid long queues! Will be back again if given the chance.

The Philippine Air Force Aerospace Museum, established in 1974, is situated within Villamor Airbase and offers a captivating journey through the country's aerospace science and aviation history. The museum features an array of exhibits and galleries showcasing historical aircraft, aviation artifacts, weaponry, uniforms, dioramas, miniatures, and memorabilia from the early days of military aviation.
Quaint Gem of a museum near Newpart. A happenstance find wandering from Belmont Hotel. Access: Captain on-site advised as of 2/2023 public tours typically Tuesday-Friday. Appears variable without schedule posted. No fee for entry. Rules: Second floor artifacts from World War 2, no photography or video. Lower regions showing art gallery and timelines viable for photos. Entire visitation was chaperoned. Be courteous. Family friendly? Great displays, many being restored, of world War Era planes. Interesting for any aviation enthusiasts. Entry: Bring passport or ID for logging Entry. Glad to stumble upon the unique aeronautical history sharing between countries. Respect.

Nice collection of historical planes, guns and Air Force officers uniforms. It’s a two-story museum with outside grounds where several planes are also on display. The staff were courteous and helpful. Great for kids. If you’re within the vicinity of NAIA, it’s worth a visit. Entrance is free. Parking is available at the back of the building.
Nina D — Google review
It was a great experience. Learning about the past. Seeing planes in the past wars. Medals and antique guns since 1914. They also a big garden where different kinds of plane displayed. It’s been a years the last time a visit this museum.Must visit this place with your family and friends.
A C — Google review
Nice place to take kids to see some aircrafts in person with historical touch. But the place need more cleaning and maintenance. Some areas doesn't have nice lighting to see the miniatures in the glass box. Outside park is also not well maintained.
JoshCris G — Google review
It needs some updated history of Philippine Airforce & Aerospace. The plane yard was cool specially if you have flown the planes of that era. The best part… it’s the Philippine Map of 1734. It has an amazing history if you do the research! Did I say it’s FREE admission? 😉
Mel R — Google review
We were able to go here before because it's a school activity, but when we returned on a Saturday, we found out that they are closed every Saturday, Sunday, Monday. My son went here during his elementary days, now he is a College student, I never though before that he will take a College course related to Aviation. A must visit for children.
Yoda T — Google review
Great place for kids and kids at heart that loves Planes and Air transport. But as of now the indoor museum is close so we were not able to see it but overall would still recommend this place is you have a free time before your flight since it's very close to terminal 3.

It's a nice place to learn about a little history of the Philippine Air Force. We went here for our educational trip but too bad, I wasn't able to read every information due to the lack of time.

It was really fun! There were 6 rooms and every ambience was very cute and instagrammable. All staff were very kind and approachable and always greets you with a smile, contagious that makes you smile too! There are freebies too! I really loved the cow room, you get to enjoy a fun cow ride! 😉 overall experience was really fun! Would definitely recommend it. 🥰

Dessert museum is one of the interactive and affordable museum. Staff are approachable and accommodating that made our experiences fun and unforgettable. One of the best rooms are cake light room because it produces colorful lights. It’s perfect and amazing tour with the friendly staff. I highly recommend this to the kids and young at heart to bring out their inner child.
Marjorie C — Google review
It was a nice experience celebrating my birthday here! Favorite room was cake room and banana beach where the unlimited icecream is! Thanks to the whole team who made the experience more memorable. Especially to Gerald who is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will go back here again! :)))
Monique T — Google review
Went here to celebrate our Ate friend’s 50th birthday and we surprisingly had fun (the rest of us were in our mid 40s)! Highly recommended for bonding sessions with friends and family. We super loved the treats that came along with some rooms especially the ice cream all you can for 15 minutes! We made sure to taste all the flavors available 🫣🍦😍 Best to come on a weekday so that it’s not crowded, wear comfortable clothes (jeans and shorts recommended) to be able to enjoy exploring and posing on all the rooms, and easy on off shoes for areas that will require you to remove your footwear. Truly great to experience with people who are dear to your heart 🫶🏽

Loads of fun for the kids, and anyone who loves a cool picture. They give you 2 hours but 1 is more than enough to explore and enjoy all the rooms. There are some nice freebies too like ice cream cones and chocolates, and vouchers from brands like Jollibee and Llaollao. Very sweet way to spend an afternoon.

The Upside Down Museum is a 1,700-sq.-ft. illusion museum featuring upside down, leaning, floating & giant exhibits. It offers an out-of-this-world experience in each room, challenging visitors to see the world from a different perspective. Inspired by attractions in other countries, this Instagram-worthy museum defies gravity with backward, inside-out, and upside-down displays that challenge imagination and creativity.
When planning a trip to a new location or destination, you always seem to be looking for ways to entertain yourself and have fun in the way the locals do. In Manila, we looked at quite a few ways of having fun and also doing something we have never done before! The Upside Down Museum gave us the opportunity to get a lot of photos and also create memories like never before. The museum is very affordable and also worth a try!
Willem J — Google review
I expected the place to be big but it was just a one wide place wherein you could find a spot and explore your imagination and take photos. Good thing there are personnel from each post who can guide you on better poses. We went there on a normal day, Friday, unfortunately, on the same schedule of a "Field Trip" with some students so it was overcrowded. We had a limited time taking photos due to long queues. Not looking at the overcrowded issue, overall, the structures/designs were good. We enjoyed taking photos and looking the effects (upside down) after, though I guess the Php450 entrance fee is too high for this attraction. Good place for kids and kids-at-heart! 😊
Babaengbundok — Google review
Amazing! The staffs are friendly and will immediately take the initiative to take pictures of you. They also suggest whats the best pose for you and your company. I love the idea of the museum. Plus, stuffs hanging are all real. Like wow. Entrance fee 450.
Dian C — Google review
Upside Down Museum offers a unique and interactive experience perfect for those looking for something different and entertaining. However, visitors should be prepared for potential crowds and consider the relatively short duration of the visit compared to the entrance fee. Pros of the Upside Down Museum: Unique Experience: The Upside Down Museum offers a one-of-a-kind and immersive experience, allowing visitors to explore optical illusions and mind-bending exhibits. Interactive: Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the exhibits, making it a fun and engaging destination for people of all ages. Great for Photography: The museum's creative and surreal setups provide an excellent backdrop for photography, making it a popular spot for Instagram-worthy pictures. Indoor Activity: It's an indoor attraction, making it suitable for both rainy and sunny days, ensuring that it can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. Cons of the Upside Down Museum: Crowded: Due to its popularity, the museum can get quite crowded, especially during weekends and holidays, leading to long wait times and difficulty in capturing photos without other visitors in the frame. Limited Duration: The visit to the Upside Down Museum can be relatively short, as there are a limited number of exhibits, and visitors may find that they go through the museum quickly. Entrance Fee: Some visitors may consider the entrance fee relatively high for the duration of the experience. Not Suitable for Everyone: The museum's optical illusions and upside-down rooms may not be suitable for individuals who suffer from motion sickness or have certain medical conditions. #UpsideDownMuseum #InteractiveArt #OpticalIllusions #MindBendingArt #MuseumExploration #UniqueExperiences #ArtisticWonders #TrickArtMuseum #ManilaAttractions #VisualIllusions #CreativeFun #UpsideDownWorld #ImmersiveArt #ArtAndCulturePH #MuseumAdventures #MindTwistingArt #ManilaMuseum #MuseumMagic #ArtInManila #UpsideDownFun

One hell of a fun place this is. You have to have to visit this place if you are in Manila. You can easily spend an hour or two depending on how many of you go and what all do you try for upside down Better to take help from someone in how to position yourself and the camera to capture the effect in the right manner. Tickets are cheap but the place is located remotely so don't worry if you feel you are going nowhere, that's correct
Atishay J — Google review
If you are fond of testing your creativity and flexibility, you might find Upside Down Museum a great place to bond with your friends and family. My friend and I came here during an unexpected rain so we got a chance to take a lot of photos here without getting distracted by a lot of people. The staff were very kind enough to assist us whenever we need to take our photos together. They were great photographers as we never thought that it could be done creatively if we only rely on ourselves. Hahaha! Along with this, the attraction is always maintained cleaned by the staff. The only downside I can see on the place is their restroom. I just didn't expect that the restroom was like that. It should be improve and fix some of their locks. Overall, we had a great time with my friend in the Upside Down Museum and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to spend their time with their loved ones during rainy days. Oh I almost forgot. During our visit, the way in getting in the museum is really challenging due to bad weather so make sure to prepare yourselves.
K T — Google review
The place is small but nice. I just think that they need a better location, somewhere more accessible. Tip to have good photos; ask assistance. They would tell you how to properly pose per spot. 450 pesos entrance fee is not bad considering that there is no time limit. Ps: girls, dont wear skirts or dresses so you could freely and comfortably move around. Have fun!
Chelsea S — Google review
Good place for family and friends. The kids will enjoy the place. The most enjoyable part is after you see the pictures that were taken, However, the fee a bit pricey Php450 per person.

Park
Manila Ocean Park is a must-visit aquatic theme park and educational facility in Manila. It offers hands-on activities, an oceanarium with over 14,000 aquatic creatures from 270 species, including sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, and the first penguin facility in the country. The park also features live shows, exhibits, and an amusement park area. It's a great place for families to explore and learn about marine life while enjoying entertaining experiences.
We had a great time at Manila Ocean Park! The Oceanarium was beautiful — lots of sea creatures to see and learn about. The Water Park is perfect for kids — my child had so much fun splashing around and cooling off. We bought our tickets online in advance, which helped us save a bit — highly recommend doing that for discounts and less hassle. Just a heads-up: food inside is quite expensive, so if you're on a budget, consider eating before you go. Overall, it’s a fun and educational day trip, especially for families with kids!
Ivy C — Google review
MAY 2025 - We recently visited Manila Ocean Park, and it was a mix of good experiences and some frustrations. The Oceanarium tunnel is definitely the highlight — it’s beautiful to walk through and see all the fish and marine life swimming overhead. The penguin encounter was also fun, but it comes with an additional fee aside from the regular ticket. The same goes for the shark and stingray encounters — they sounded exciting, but again, there’s an extra charge if you want to try them. One real downside was the sea lion show. The auditorium was extremely hot and uncomfortable, and we ended up leaving before the show even started. That part of the park could really use better ventilation or fans to make it bearable for visitors. Overall, the park is worth seeing at least once, especially for families with kids who will enjoy the tunnel and animal encounters. Just be prepared for extra fees, crowded areas, and some uncomfortable spots. With a bit more upkeep and guest comfort improvements, this could easily be a much better experience. Tips: • Budget extra if you want to do encounters like penguins, sharks, or stingrays. • Bring water and a fan, as some areas can get very hot. • Go early in the day to avoid the heaviest crowds.
Mleonacarrie — Google review
Although some facilities, windows, among other aspects of the place could use some cleaning and/or renovation to be kept in better shape, I would rate my experience good overall. As expected from a weekend visit, there was a sizable crowd even before afternoon. Tickets can be bought online via Klook or bought and printed on-site via automated kiosks and counters available at the entrance. Inside were a variety of fish and other assortment of creatures alike to be seen though, as mentioned earlier, the premises are definitely beginning to show its age. Also available are the penguin feeding, sea lion show, and other things kids and adults alike will enjoy. Check-in via Hotel H2O is also an option for those wishing to have an overnight stay or longer, and there are a variety of food options and restaurants alike in the venue.
Perci H — Google review
The park has improved a lot since our last visit in 2018! There are several new attractions and activities to enjoy now. I’m not sure if there have been any changes inside the Oceanarium itself since we focused on trying the new experiences, like the Biodome, which we really enjoyed. There’s also a play area and a cute ride that kids (and kids-at-heart) will love. Overall, it was a fun and refreshing visit — definitely worth checking out again!
Joyful R — Google review
Very fun to see everything they had, although not a ton of things. The best parts of the park was the lion show and feeding the penguins. If you have younger ones perfect place for them to explore and not be so overwhelmed by crowds. Worth seeing for the affordability.
Winston W — Google review
The oceanarium and world of crawling creeps is aight, not too bad but not the best either, but if you'd like to see fishes I'd still recommend it, but the reason I gave this a 2 star review because of the horrendous quality and program of the all star bird show with reptiles on the side, seal talent show, I do appreciate the talent displayed by the animals and them trainers, but damn, the place is horrible man, seeing the swimming people from Hotel H²O was distracting enough while the show was going on, and this entire thing only has 2 speakers on the left side, and it's really botched up sound quality jesus, I literally can't understand everything the host said, on top of it's broken sound, there's a background music playing loudly consistently that it's literally not helping with the already horrible quality of the place, and damn people really do just come and go whenever they want even though the show already started blocking the already tiny view you have with what's going on, you can see everything that happened in the vids, plus the snack bar at the side, horrible popcorn man, ain't heated and it's got this stale chewy rubbery texture, well at this point I'm sure that the popcorn ain't even freshly cooked. And another thing to add, it was originally cloudy when the show started, and a lil after 30 minutes the sun showed up shining rays, literally the half towards the front seats are exposed dude, talk about horrible events place build, why would you only build half a roof in that thing?, imagine the people sitting there getting barbecued at 12 noon, they suddenly stood up and left them seats, blocking the damn view of the talent show of the seal, man I love the talent, animals, trainers, and props to the workers, but the management of this thing is just not good bro. If y'all want to see fishes, check out the oceanarium. But the show outside and it's prices, I wouldn't recommend it.
Dao T — Google review
We visiting the digital art museum which was nice, but not really worth the money as you can see everything in about 20 minutes. The exhibits are interesting and the kids enjoyed it. Entrance is not well signposted as you're greeted by a gaudy Eiffel tower ride which does little to promote local culture and there's so much trash in the parking, run down toilets, and food places are closed or just junk. I'm sure this place was great when it opened, but sadly the lack of maintenance and poor management let's this place down. Sayang.
Sam E — Google review
Manila Ocean Park has potential as a family attraction, but the experience can be disappointing in some areas. The penguin exhibit, which should be a highlight, is difficult to enjoy because the glass is often foggy and unclear due to humidity. This makes it hard to actually see the penguins, which is frustrating given the premium ticket price. Another issue is the ticketing area—there’s no air-conditioning, and the wait can be uncomfortable, especially during peak hours. For a tourist destination of this scale, the entry process could definitely be better organized and more guest-friendly. One tip: it’s much better to purchase tickets in advance through platforms like Klook. You can skip the long lines and head straight inside, which saves a lot of time and avoids the uncomfortable waiting area. Overall, while the park has some interesting attractions, the execution and facilities need improvement to make the visit more enjoyable and worth the cost

Food Wanderer x Lakbay Museo is an interactive museum in Pasay that offers a vibrant and educational experience for visitors. It showcases the rich and colorful Filipino culture from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao through colorful displays of traditional costumes, an Ivatan house, and a food market. The museum aims to educate the youth about the diverse activities and native delicacies found across the 11 regions of the Philippines.
This place is an absolute gem for food lovers and culture enthusiasts! From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by beautifully designed exhibits showcasing various food delicacies, complete with intricate miniature samples that look almost too real to be fake. It was fascinating to see how much detail went into every display. One of the best parts was the food stalls scattered throughout the museum, allowing visitors to snack while exploring. It made the experience so much more immersive and enjoyable. To top it all off, the cultural dance performance at the end of the tour was a stunning highlight! The energy, costumes, and traditional music made it a perfect way to wrap up the visit. I truly appreciated how the performance connected food with the rich cultural heritage behind it. Highly recommend this place—it's a must-visit for anyone who loves food, art, and culture

There are a lot of activities they offer like cooking selected Filipino delicacies, making art, etc. They have great customer service and make an effort to interact with shy kids. Although super young kids like three years old might not be old enough to enjoy the place based on our experience with my cousin. However, my grandma really enjoyed the tour the most. Overall, the experience is worth the money. I recommend bringing a good phone or camera to take your photos because they don't have an in-house photographer during our tour.

It’s a wonderful place to hangout with friends in a rainy day. So many kinds of food topics were decorated for different space. They even prepared a short dancing show and invited guests to dance with them. We’re going there during the regular holiday but there are not many people. Definitely one of fancy and interesting museum in Manila.

It's the perfect experience for taking pictures if you're into that. The staff is very friendly and willing to take your pictures for you. The place wasn't crowded and we were able to enjoy every bit at our own pace. The place could improve if it was made more educational with visible trivia or tidbits of information about the installations. Entrance is a bit pricey for what you’ll see/experience knowing there are other spots in the city worth exploring for way less than what we paid here. i.e. art galleries and museums

Fun museum about Filipino food and culture. A nice place for kids and families to take pictures and learn about Filipino culture in an interactive way. The staff were super helpful and kind, offering to take pictures for us while explaining all the different rooms. They also had a performance that was very fun and entertaining. Great experience!

Fort Santiago is a historic defensive fortress located in Manila, Philippines. It was originally constructed in 1590 by Spanish conquistadors on the site of a pre-Hispanic king's palace. The fortress has been restored and now serves as a museum and public park within the Intramuros district. One of its main attractions is the Rizal Shrine, dedicated to national hero José Rizal who was imprisoned there before his execution in 1896.
Me and my partner visited Fort Santiago in Intramuros and it was one of the highlights of our Manila trip. The place is very well-preserved and full of history, especially with its strong connection to Dr. Jose Rizal. We enjoyed walking through the old stone gates, exploring the dungeons, and strolling around the gardens which gave a peaceful contrast to the historical atmosphere. The Rizal Shrine inside was very informative and allowed us to learn more about the country’s national hero. We also appreciated that the grounds were clean and organized, with plenty of spots for photos and relaxation. Visiting here truly felt like stepping back in time and gave us a deeper appreciation of Manila’s heritage. Highly recommended for anyone who loves history and culture.

Fort Santiago is a wonderful historical site in Manila that’s full of stories and character. The place is well-preserved and offers a great glimpse into the country’s past, especially about José Rizal and the Spanish colonial era. Walking around the fort, you can enjoy the peaceful gardens, old walls, and beautiful views by the river. It’s clean, well-maintained, and informative, with signs that explain the history clearly. A great spot for both locals and tourists who love culture, history, and photography. Truly a must-visit landmark in Intramuros!

A magnificent fort situated near Chinatown which is great for a day trip combining the both. We can hear during the All Saints’ Day which was great. Less crowd for us to truly immerse ourselves with the history and greenery surrounding it.

Fort Santiago is one of my favorite spots in Manila — peaceful, green, and full of stories from the past. You can really feel the Spanish-era atmosphere walking through the old walls and gardens. The museum inside is small but interesting, and the views by the river are lovely. I recommend going early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat...for me the weather was magical: sunny & at the same time raining. Definitely worth a visit if you love history or just want a nice quiet walk in Intramuros.

We enjoyed our dontskipmanila tour of Fort Santiago and surrounding historical spots. I gained more appreciation about our history and what our heroes did for our nation. I gained additional knowledge. We had our foreigner boss to tour around. I think the kids will also enjoy the tour. When I visited before with no tour, I didn't appreciate it much. When we had the tour, it was much better.

Fort Santiago is more than just awesome! A fortress built in 1593 that still stands strong even after numerous conflicts and natural disasters! You can go inside as it is both a park and a walking museum full of statues and remnants of the past!

Went inside Fort Santiago and paid Php 70 for the entrance fee. This place is good for school trips too. I haven’t tried the guided tour and I heard it was great but my mom and I just DIY’d our trip. Took pictures everywhere but these were the only ones I captured that was without our faces.

A must-visit when you're in Manila. Fort Santiago is a historic site located in Intramuros that witnessed over 400 years of Spanish occupation in the Philippines. The place is rich with history, and walking through it feels like being transported back in time. Don’t miss the Dungeons, where you can learn about the atrocities committed during the Japanese occupation. Entrance Fee: ₱75 Highly recommended. Locals and foreigners should not miss it!

Rizal Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a sprawling 57-hectare urban park located in the heart of Manila. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, offering lush lawns, vibrant gardens, and outdoor event spaces. The park is an ideal spot for picnics with its shady trees and expansive grassy areas.
Wow, Rizal Park is the absolute hottest place I've ever been. The sides are nice and shady with a decent breeze, which is a relief, but man, that central strip is just scorching! They've got a nice fountain in the middle of it all. You could probably kill half a day here checking out the history and wandering through the side parks. Just a heads up: try to go when it's cooler, because seriously, this place is HOT.

My boyfriend and I recently visited Rizal Park, and it was a refreshing and memorable experience. It had been 10 years since my last vacation in Manila, and seeing the park again was truly nostalgic. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing afternoon. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, open spaces, and historical monuments, including the iconic Rizal Monument. Since we visited on a weekday, it wasn’t very crowded, which made our experience even more enjoyable and peaceful. Rizal Park is suitable for families, couples, or anyone looking to experience a blend of history and greenery in the heart of Manila. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination that combines relaxation, culture, and history.

Luneta Park is a refreshing escape right in the heart of Manila. 🌳 Perfect for an early morning run or a peaceful walk, with wide open spaces, trees, and a touch of history everywhere you look. It’s clean, relaxing, and gives you that rare calm amid the city buzz. A timeless spot that reminds you why Manila is so special. 🇵🇭

I visited the park about 6:30 am and already there were plenty of people walking, stretching, exercising by themselves or in a groups. Big speakers in the whole park, music on, amazing energy! 🥰 Very clean with a few things to explore there. I definitely recommend this place to visit

Bringing my daughter here for the very first time was pure magic. I’ve visited many times myself, but seeing it through the eyes of a child is a totally different experience! As soon as we walked in and saw the massive, open green lawn, her little eyes went wide. She’s usually glued to her tablet, but here, she just dropped my hand and took off running! The sheer amount of safe, open space for her to burn off energy was a relief for me. Looking at her running around, I felt that amazing connection to Filipino history while she was just having the time of her life. Luneta isn't just a park. It's a piece of our heritage that also happens to be a perfect, budget-friendly family day out. It was a beautiful, successful first trip, and she’s already begging to go back!

Nice big park to go for a stroll and where you can learn about the history of the Philippines at the same time. But this is not just any old park, unfortunately it was also the place where many people were executed - some brave Priests who fought for the rights of the locals against the imperialists, and of course where national hero, Filipino nationalist, and inspiration for the fight against the Spanish Jose Riza was also publicly executed. It was interesting to read on the memorials their sacrifice. Also this is the park where in 1946 Philippines was finally declared an independent nation. So this park is important to the Philippine people and so respect and reverence is to be shown when walking around. It is a nice park and it is well laid out. Definitely worth a view

I visited Rizal Park, also known as Parke ng Rizal or Bagumbayan, on October 29, 2025. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have visited in Manila. The park is named after Dr. José Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines, who dedicated his life to the country’s freedom through his writings and sacrifice. This park stands as a reminder of his love for the Filipino people and his dream of an independent nation. The atmosphere of the park is calm and refreshing. I saw many people jogging, walking, and doing exercises early in the evening. The green grass, tall trees, and clean surroundings make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in the middle of the city. The dancing fountain with fire was the highlight of my visit — it was truly worth watching, especially after sunset. There is no entrance fee, which makes it accessible for everyone. The place is well-maintained, and security officers are visible throughout the area. Rizal Park is not just a tourist spot but also a space where history, nature, and everyday life meet beautifully. I highly recommend visiting this park to anyone coming to Manila.

The Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and Cincture, also known as San Agustin Church, is a historic church in Manila. Constructed in the 16th century, it features vaulted ceilings and detailed frescoes. It is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines and survived the Battle of Manila during World War II. Designated as a National Historical Landmark by the Philippine government and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it holds significant historical value.
This is a small and unassuming church in the intramuros district. It's very easy to miss however it's a great place to stop. If I'm not mistaken this is the oldest Church in Manila. There is an incredible amount of History here and the church here is well maintained especially considering its age. If you are staying in intramuros you will without a doubt pass by here several times while you're visiting some other sites, you need to stop by here and really take in the beauty.

San Agustin Church in Intramuros is truly a treasure. The moment you step inside, you feel the calm , the soft light, the painted ceiling, the old wooden pews… everything is full of history and charm. It’s amazing to think this is the oldest stone church in the Philippines, and it’s still standing strong after so many centuries. I loved walking around the museum too...So many old artifacts and details that tell the story of the country’s past. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Manila! Quiet, sacred, and simply beautiful ❤️

We visited the museum and this a very good one. The old building yet in a good condition and its wide collections of paintings, statues, and many more is really amazing. But in the church area there are quite many Filipino offer ride around the historical places with affordable price which then turns to be wow price. Be careful. Make a bargain first and ask the details of the price. At first he said it was 350/person all around the area without explaining 350 pesos was only for 30 minutes. He charged us for 2 and half hours which was actually not that long. And insisted us to pay 2000 pesos for each of us. So we paid 6000 pesos.

A lot of to see and recommend to allow at least one hour here.

San Agustin Church in Intramuros is truly a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and a must-visit historical landmark in Manila. As the oldest stone church in the Philippines (completed in 1607), it holds deep cultural, historical, and spiritual significance. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by intricate details that reflect Spanish colonial artistry—elaborate trompe l'oeil ceiling paintings, massive wooden doors, and finely carved choir stalls. The stone walls and ornate altars speak volumes of the craftsmanship and devotion that went into building this church over 400 years ago. The atmosphere inside is both serene and awe-inspiring. The soft lighting, combined with centuries-old architecture, creates a solemn yet majestic feel. Whether you're visiting for spiritual reasons, historical curiosity, or simply to admire its beauty, San Agustin Church offers a timeless experience. Also worth noting is its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, part of the Baroque Churches of the Philippines, which only adds to its prestige. A true gem within the walled city of Intramuros—San Agustin Church is more than just a religious structure; it’s a journey into the Philippines' rich colonial past, beautifully preserved.

The Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, also known as Manila Cathedral, is a historic church with ornate architecture dating back to 1571. It has been visited by several popes and is considered the Mother of all churches in the Philippines. The cathedral's Neo-Romanesque design, solemn ambiance, priceless relics, and stained glass windows make it a must-visit for both locals and tourists.
I attended Mass at Manila Cathedral, and it was a moving experience. The church is stunning—tall arches, stained glass, and a calm, sacred atmosphere. The choir and organ music were beautiful, adding depth to the liturgy. Even with many people, it felt peaceful. You can feel the history in every corner, but the focus remains on quiet, sincere worship. Truly a special place for prayer and reflection.
Rian K — Google review
One of the best churches I've visited. The Manila Cathedral is not only a place of worship but also a living testament to the Philippines' rich Catholic heritage. Located in the heart of Intramuros, it has been rebuilt multiple times since its original structure was erected in 1581—having been damaged by fires, earthquakes, and World War II bombings. What stands today is a stunning Romanesque Revival-style cathedral completed in 1958, with intricate carvings, grand arches, and beautiful stained glass windows that depict various Biblical scenes. What impressed me most is the structural elegance of the church and the abundance of historical items inside. You’ll find tombs of past archbishops, centuries-old religious artifacts, and impressive altarpieces. It’s also the first cathedral in the country and serves as the mother church of the Archdiocese of Manila. Even Pope Francis held mass here during his 2015 visit. Whether you're religious or simply a lover of architecture and history, this church offers a deeply enriching experience. A must-visit when you're in Intramuros.
ATBP A — Google review
The Manila cathedral in my opinion is the heart of the intramuros district. It feels like all the roads lead to this church. Well not exactly in the center it really feels like it is, however this church is incredibly well maintained. The grounds in front of the church, plaza Rome has several shaded areas for you to sit in, however you're better off sitting inside the church if you're looking to escape the Sun. There are several vendors outside the church too that sell an assortment of snacks and beverages. The church itself is a true marvel this thing has been built and destroyed several times over and there is a small little museum dedicated to its history as soon as you walk in to the right. This is a great museum with lots of History even though technically it is not the oldest.

The Manila Cathedral is absolutely stunning — the architecture, the dome, and the grand entrance all make you stop and stare. Inside, it’s peaceful and full of light, with every corner beautifully detailed. You can really feel the history and faith here. It’s right in the heart of Intramuros, so it’s perfect to visit while exploring the old city. Even if you’re not religious, it’s worth stopping by just to admire how beautiful and majestic it is. Truly one of Manila’s must-see spots! ❤️

I visited The Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, and it was a truly inspiring experience. The church’s grand architecture, with its detailed façade and beautiful stained-glass windows, reflects both history and faith. Inside, the atmosphere feels solemn and peaceful — perfect for prayer and reflection. It’s one of the most iconic churches in the Philippines and serves as the seat of the Archdiocese of Manila. The area around it is also scenic, especially at sunset. Whether you’re visiting for Mass or just to admire its beauty, The Manila Cathedral is a must-see landmark in Intramuros.

The Manila Cathedral was our first stop in Intramuros, and it definitely made an impression. As we walked up to it, the grand Romanesque Revival facade immediately stood out, with its carved arches, detailed columns, and iconic statues of saints welcoming visitors. Inside, we were greeted by the sound of the choir echoing gently through the arches—absolutely beautiful. The interior is spacious and meticulously designed, with vaulted ceilings, elegant stonework, and stained-glass windows that let in soft, colorful light. It felt both serene and majestic. The church was packed during our visit, with many standing and seated worshippers, showing how loved and active this place still is. Despite the crowd, the entire space felt peaceful and respectful. While the exterior is still in great shape, some minor wear and tear is starting to show, but it doesn’t take away from the overall grandeur. The central dome and bell tower are particularly striking and photograph beautifully from the garden area on the side.
John W — Google review
Visiting this cathedral felt like stepping straight into Europe. The architecture is truly breathtaking — tall spires, grand arches, and intricate details that reflect both artistry and history. From the moment you enter, the high vaulted ceilings and stained-glass windows create a sense of awe and peace. The play of light through the colored glass adds a beautiful, almost magical atmosphere inside, making it a perfect place for quiet reflection or prayer. What’s remarkable is how well the design captures that classic European cathedral feel. It’s not just a place of worship, but also a piece of cultural heritage that transports you to another time and place. Whether you’re a believer or simply someone who appreciates architecture and history, there’s so much to admire here. The grounds around the cathedral are also well-kept, providing a serene environment for visitors. It’s a wonderful spot not only for spiritual connection but also for those who enjoy photography, as every angle seems to tell a story. Overall, this cathedral is more than just a religious site — it’s a landmark of beauty and inspiration. If you’ve ever dreamed of visiting Europe’s great cathedrals, this is definitely a place that gives you a taste of that same grandeur.

I visited the Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, also known as the Manila Cathedral (Basilika Menor at Kalakhang Katedral ng Kalinis-linisang Paglilihi – Katedral ng Maynila), on October 20, 2025. It is one of the most beautiful and historically significant churches in the Philippines. The cathedral stands with great elegance in Intramuros, surrounded by old Spanish-style architecture that reminds visitors of the country’s deep Christian roots. The interior was peaceful and inspiring, with tall arches, stained glass windows, and a grand altar that gave a sense of reverence and devotion. I could truly feel the spiritual atmosphere of the place. However, maintenance works were ongoing during my visit, so a few sections were temporarily closed, and some construction equipment could be seen around the area. It slightly affected the overall experience but also showed that the church is being carefully preserved for future generations. Despite that, the cathedral remains a sacred and serene place worth visiting. It is not only a house of worship but also a symbol of faith and resilience for the Filipino people. I highly recommend visiting this church.I give it 4 stars mainly due to the maintenance works.

You can access the Museum via the Finance Rd. Free entrance you just have to present one valid ID. Air conditioned. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes coz you are going to have a walking work out ask for floors. Hihi. Also wear presentable clothes. Check the museums website page for the rules entering the museum. Baggage counter available on the entrance. Very spacious gallery. Elevator is available for use. I’ve longed to see THE Spoliarium. Never had the chance to join any field trips when I was a student due to lack of financial capability. Now that I am 37 years old. I was in awe seeing it the moment I enter the museum. Surreal. There are also souvenir shops inside. Sharing a few pictures I took at inside the museum. Had to sit a few times as my feet gets tired haha. Each room has a mottiff or subjects i guess and comes in different background/wall colors. Will visit the other 2 nearby museums soon.

The building is in grand neoclassical style, columns, high ceilings, a hushed hush of reverence, carries the weight of wartime loss and rebirth. Inside, each gallery blooms in its own colour-mood, the curation guided so thoughtfully that I stopped looking at walls and started feeling rooms. If you’re the kind of traveller who savours quiet epiphanies among art and architecture, this place is for you. 🤌

Casa Manila, a meticulously restored 1850s house turned museum, offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of a wealthy Filipino family during the late Spanish colonial era. The facade is inspired by an actual residence from Binondo's Chinese district, while the interior showcases lavish European and Chinese furniture, crystal chandeliers, painted walls, and gilded furnishings that defined Manila houses of that period.
I have known Casa Manila since college. My favourite is the Ah Tay Bed since I don't get to see the same in this day and age. No videos allowed but unlimited photos can be taken. Well preserved antique furniture however, some parts of the flooring are almost collapsible. I thought I would fall off to the ground floor. 😂

Interesting reconstruction of a house for the rich. Sadly never lived in according to local guides in the property but built after the war to show how things were. Interesting tour. Not huge but interesting. Can only take photos inside and no video for some reason hence the attachments. Videos were filmed in areas that allowed only.

It was like traveling back into time. I was really amazed to see what it looks like before inside a house although I think this was owned by a prominent family back then because most of the stuffs inside looks expensive. I gave only 3 stars because the security at the entrance told me that backpack was not allowed inside the museum but as you can see one of my photo shows people inside the museum with their backpacks. I got annoyed also because I informed one of the security in the museum and he just told me to tell it to the security at the baggage counter as if I was going to trouble myself to do that not so smart response from him, like what is his use being inside of the museum anyway if he will not enforce museum guidelines.

Casa Manila was one of the first stops during our long walking day through Intramuros, and it ended up being one of the highlights. The moment you enter, you’re transported to another era—everything from the arched stone passageways to the old-world courtyard and period furniture captures a piece of Spanish colonial life in the Philippines. The central courtyard is beautifully maintained, complete with a fountain, lush plants, and heritage-style tables and chairs scattered around. It feels like stepping onto a movie set. There’s also a charming cafe onsite with shaded outdoor seating under a large umbrella, tucked under the old stone archways. A perfect spot to sit and cool down after exploring the area. What really stood out was how well-preserved everything is. The stonework, iron lanterns, and wooden balconies are incredibly detailed and make for great photos from every angle—especially from the second floor looking down over the courtyard. There’s even a bamboo bike station that adds a touch of eco-conscious charm. It’s a peaceful pocket of history that’s easy to miss if you rush through Intramuros. Highly recommend stopping here for a breather and a deeper look into Manila’s colonial past.

A must-visit spot right in the heart of Intramuros! The place is absolutely beautiful—full of charm and history. It’s perfect for a quick escape within the city. There are lots of great photo spots, so don’t forget your camera! Inside Casa, you’ll find a small gallery/mini museum that you can explore for free, which was a nice surprise. There are also a couple of restaurants around if you want to grab a bite or chill for a bit. Overall, a great mix of culture, food, and good vibes.

The Minor Basilica & National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno, also known as Quiapo Church, is a significant Catholic church in Manila. It houses the revered 17th-century Black Nazarene statue, attracting devoted worshippers who believe in its miraculous powers. The church's iconic architecture, designed by Juan Nakpil, features a spacious dome and imposing belfries.
A powerful spiritual experience. Despite the crowds, Quiapo Church offers a deep sense of faith and devotion. The Black Nazarene is truly moving to see. A must-visit for anyone interested in Filipino culture and Catholic tradition.

Quiapo Church, officially called the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, is a historic Roman Catholic church in Manila. It is best known as the home of the Black Nazarene, a life-sized dark statue of Jesus Christ believed by many devotees to be miraculous. The church was first built in the late 1500s, but it has been destroyed and rebuilt several times due to fires and earthquakes. Today, it is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the Philippines, especially during the annual Feast of the Black Nazarene every January 9.

The iconic Quiapo Church has been officially elevated to the rank of a Basilica by the Pope and declared as the National Shrine of Jesus of Nazareth by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines. 💒 A holy place for prayer and meditation, the Basilica stands as a symbol of faith and devotion of millions of Filipinos. In front of it lies the historic Plaza Miranda, a landmark that has witnessed countless events in our nation’s history. 🇵🇭✨ Truly, Quiapo remains not only a spiritual haven but also a cultural and historical treasure of the Philippines. ❤️ #QuiapoChurch #Basilica #NationalShrine #PlazaMiranda #Faith #History

My first time going back here for several years and it felt good visiting Quiapo Church ☺️ I was able to attend the morning mass. I can't remember the day I went here but I would say it's totally different now from the last time I visited the shrine. Thankful and Blessed to visit Poong Nazareno.

I've been here many times, and every visit reminds me of the deep faith and devotion of the Filipino people. Quiapo Church is always bustling with devotees, especially on Fridays and during the annual Feast of the Black Nazarene, where millions join the Traslación procession—a powerful display of collective devotion and sacrifice. What stands out is the diverse spiritual culture around the church. Many faith healers and vendors line the perimeter, offering religious items, herbal remedies, and amulets said to bring good luck or healing. It creates an almost mystical atmosphere that blends folk belief with Catholic tradition. This church holds personal significance for me—it's where my mother goes when she wants her prayers answered. One moment I’ll never forget was seeing a woman walking on her knees from the entrance to the altar. I didn’t fully understand the meaning behind it, but it was deeply moving. It's a common form of panata (a vow or act of devotion), showing how far people will go to express their faith and gratitude. Inside, you’ll often witness unique rituals and people in silent prayer amidst the crowd. Quiapo Church is not just a religious site—it’s a cultural experience and a symbol of unwavering Filipino faith.

Paco Park, originally a cemetery for affluent Spanish families in the Philippines, has transformed into a serene urban park with shaded paths and garden areas. It holds historical significance as the burial site of three priests executed in 1872. The park's lush surroundings make it popular for weddings, prenups, photoshoots, and romantic dates. Visitors can enjoy traditional music concerts and quiet strolls around the circular park. The Chapel of St.
Visiting Paco Park was like stepping into a living museum. The site’s well-preserved architecture and informative displays offered a vivid glimpse into the past. The efforts to maintain and restore the area are commendable, ensuring that future generations can appreciate its historical value. I highly recommend this site to anyone interested in history and culture.

This peaceful, circular park in the heart of Manila is one of the most historic yet underrated spots in the city. I visited recently, and while the St. Pancratius Chapel was closed when we arrived, we still managed to take some great photos. It’s a serene place, ideal for jogging, quiet reflection, or simply chilling while soaking up a bit of Philippine history. Parking is available for motorcycles, and while cars can also park, the spaces are limited, so plan accordingly. Originally built as a municipal cemetery during the Spanish colonial period, Paco Park became the resting place for the elite of Manila, including priests, nobles, and even heroes. Fun fact: Dr. José Rizal was secretly interred here after his execution in 1896, before his remains were later moved to Rizal Park. His original burial site is marked and can still be seen inside the park. The St. Pancratius Chapel, located within the park’s inner circle, is a popular wedding venue due to its intimate, historic ambiance. While we couldn’t go inside, its charming exterior alone made it worth the stop. And as a cat lover, I was happy to see friendly cats roaming freely around the park — adding to the peaceful and homey vibe of the place. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a jogger, or someone just looking to escape the busy city for a while, Paco Park offers a beautiful and historic break from the chaos of Manila.
ATBP A — Google review
Paco Park is pretty chill—quiet, green, and easy to wander through, though nothing too wow. it’s “relatively quiet” and “serene,” perfect for an early-morning jog or low-key stroll . It used to be a cemetery and still feels like a small, historical hideaway in the city. If you’re after a simple place to unwind or snap a few photos, it does the job—but don’t expect more than that.

a really nice historical park that used to be a cemetery during colonial times. national hero José Rizal was first buried there before his remains were transferred to its final resting place in Luneta. But I went there to pay remembrance to Gomburza, the martyred priests. I wish that the funeral chapel was opened when we visited. It was nice to see a lot of young people group dancing.

Within walking distance of my home, underwhelmed, quiet park & cemetery. The website says 110 peso entrance, wrong, it's free. Easy to find, up UN from Roxas Blvd, at Taft there are 5 roads, go right on the road diagonally between Taft & UN upper, about 700m on your left.

Paco Park is a hidden gem in Manila, offering a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle. Its circular layout, shaded by old trees, creates a calm and serene vibe, perfect for a quiet stroll or picnic. The park’s history adds to its charm, especially with the small chapel and old walls surrounding it. Notably, it’s also the site of Dr. José Rizal’s first grave, making it a meaningful stop for history buffs. Though small, the park feels intimate—like a little slice of peace and history right in the heart of the city.

It opened on International Museum Day and features the majestic Tree of Life in its courtyard. Visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view from the scenic elevator and explore galleries such as Mangroves, Beaches and Intertidal Zones, The Marine Realm, Natural Inheritance, and Temporary Exhibitions.
Entrance was free and you have to leave your bags and water bottles in their baggage counter. Honestly, the place is so nice. I’ve been to different museums and this one could definitely compete internationally. The structure inside is great and there are 5 floors in total. Totally worth the time.

I had a wonderful visit to the National History Museum of the Philippines. The exhibits were truly amazing, and the facility was very clean and well-maintained. The highlight for me was seeing "Lolong," the world's largest crocodile in captivity, as well as the impressive collection of turtles, which as a turtle enthusiast, I greatly appreciated. While parking can be a challenge, the museum is easily accessible. A great tip for visitors is that admission is free. A recent update has made it even better: the National Museum of the Philippines is now open seven days a week with free admission for all. This makes it an enjoyable and accessible visit for everyone.

Getting straight to the point.... Pros: 1. FREE ENTRANCE (wooohooo!) 2. Rich collection of historical and learning materials. 3. 5 floors worth of science and history! 4. The life-sized lolong piece is a must see! 5. FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED AIR-CONDITIONED 6. Instagrammable! Cons: 1. Some of the features were not functioning like the TVs and other visual aids which made the experience a bit lacking. 2. Some of the visitors were too noisy. Not recommended for people who like a more silent atmosphere. 3. Lack of navigational aids. You might get lost or confused if you are not that attentive or observant. We decided to start our tour from the lowest floor and go all the way up because there was no recommended starting point.

Very Instagrammable! 📸 Be prepared for a long walk when you visit, but good thing there are chairs around the building to rest. My eyes were so full with everything I saw and learned about the Philippines’ natural history. And yes, Lolong the crocodile is there! 🐊🇵🇭 Mas maganda pumunta ng weekdays para kakaunti ang tao. Free entrance, just present one valid ID for the whole group if you’re going with company. Vlogging is not allowed, selfie sticks are not allowed—just cellphones. Some elevators are closed, so be ready for a little extra walking. Worth it!

There is so much to see and learn about here, this museum is massive and it is just a delight. The curators have taken a lot of pride in laying this museum out and explaining the history of the biology and the geology of the Philippines. And while I know that doesn't sound incredibly interesting at first it actually is a lot of fun, I would definitely recommend this place and you can take your time enjoying it. There's also good aircon here as well.

I didn’t expect this museum to be so big! There’s so much to see on every floor — you could easily spend the whole day learning about the Philippines’ incredible biodiversity, wildlife, and ecosystems. It would be even better if they offered a map or audio guide in the future to make navigation easier. The building is clean, well-maintained, and comfortably cool, making it pleasant to explore even on a hot day. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Bahay Tsinoy, Museum of Chinese in Philippine Life is a heritage center located in Intramuros, Manila that delves into the rich history and cultural influence of the Chinese community in the Philippines. The museum showcases the early exchanges and arrivals of the Chinese dating back to the 9th century, their itinerant lifestyle during colonial times, and their significant contributions to the industrialization of the country.
Attended a historical tour part of which is Bahay Tsinoy. Educational and highly recommended with interesting dioramas which are relevant to the Filipino Chinese history and culture. There is a washroom outside the museum. Eating and drinking is not allowed inside the museum. It is 2-storey and air-conditioned. Tickets may be purchased at the lobby. Souvenirs are also available near the entrance.

You can learn in detail how the Chinese immigrants arrived and how the world’s oldest Chinatown was established. The entrance fee is ₱200, which is slightly higher than other museums in Intramuros, but it’s well worth it. While the museum isn’t very large in scale, it features realistic wax figures and a wide variety of fascinating exhibits.

This museum is very interesting and educational. It features the lives of the chinese in the Philippines during colonial times. It's main draw are the life sized manequins which shows what they were doing, wearing, eating, etc. The museum also has artifacts that during spanish occupation. They also inform you about binondo, the oldest chinatown in the world. Overall, its a good place to visit if you want to learn more about intramuros.

A must visit museum. They have tour guide (historian) inside. I really enjoyed it because the museum shows the strong relationship of the Philippines and China and Chinese immigrants on a timeline basis.

It showcases the history and evolution of the unique life and community of the Chinese in the Philippines from pre-colonial Spanish era down to our day which led to the Tsinoy (Chinese-Filipino) community. They have dioramas, videos, and much information that highlights the intertwined history of Filipinos and Chinese people.

2025 admission fee is 200 pesos, which is okay. Mixed feelings. Feels like the museum was managed in a rush, with traditional Chinese mixed with simplified characters. Some of the pictures have really low quality, probably in need of renovation. As for Philippine standard, I guess it's okay.. more interactive or more tech things would be appreciated than just plain words. Also, you need to put your bag outside at the closest, which I don’t feel extremely safe 🙃
Chihung L — Google review
Museum showcases links between the Filipino and Chinese cultures over the centuries. The exposition is set to prove crucial role of the Chinese in shaping the history of the Philippines, by showing how, for example that Rizal was of Chinese descent or that many churches, including San Augustin, were built by Chinese. Information describing an era after 1898 uses terms like American occupation or regime. We found it bit of a propaganda tactic. Apart from that, we found the Museum interesting and informative. Worth visiting. No crowds. After long closure due to the pandemic and the renovation, the museum was reopened in September 2023. It’s open from 10 am. Admission is 100 pesos for an adult and 60 pesos for a student.

This stately neoclassical museum showcases a diverse collection of artifacts and materials that provide insight into the sociological, linguistic, and economic aspects of the Philippines and its people. Visitors can marvel at traditional textiles, ancient baybayin scripts, and centuries-old maritime and ivory trade relics.

Let me tell you why I loved this museum. Organized, clean, multiple displays, friendly staff, security, and the layout is so awesome. I am a sucker for glass windows with views and you will find that here. The price is extremely reasonable and I saw a whole bunch of young humans having the time of their life. Check it out, I didn't attach the art...as that should be part of the surprise!

Visiting the National Museum of Anthropology is a great way to learn about the rich culture and history of the Philippines. The museum has many interesting exhibits, including ancient tools, traditional clothes, and artifacts from different Filipino tribes. Each section shows how people lived long ago and how their traditions continue today. The building is also beautiful and peaceful, perfect for students, families, and tourists. When you visit, take your time to read the descriptions and appreciate how each item tells a story about Filipino identity and heritage. It’s a fun and educational experience that helps you understand the country’s past and respect its diverse culture.

Visiting the National Museum of Anthropology was both inspiring and eye-opening. Walking through the galleries, I got a real sense of how deeply rooted and diverse Filipino culture is. From ancient tools and intricate textiles to tribal artefacts, every exhibit felt like a glimpse into a different chapter of the country’s story. What stood out most was how beautifully the museum connects the past with the present — showing how traditions have evolved yet still shape Filipino identity today. The building itself adds to the experience: calm, well laid out and easy to explore. It’s a place where you can slow down, take in the details and truly appreciate the richness of Philippine heritage. Whether you’re a student, a curious traveller or simply someone who loves culture, this museum is absolutely worth the visit.

This is another great museum here in Manila. This museum broadly covers the Philippines archaeological and Maritime history. This place is well laid out, spacious, and very interesting. There are multiple levels and a lot to cover so I would set aside at least an hour or two if you want to get a good grasp of this place. If you have even more time you would probably benefit if this is something that greatly interests you.

The National Museum is super beautiful! Quick reminder tho: – No food inside – Keep it lowkey (no loud noise) – You can take pics, just no flash – Backpacks are okay if worn properly, but if it’s a sling or handbag, you’ll need to carry it by hand. There’s a baggage counter too! If you’re going as a school group (like SHS), they offer free guided tours. Just let them know the topic you’re studying, and they’ll hook you up with a guide. Also, the “Spoliarium” painting is sooo powerful — like, it gives goosebumps especially when they turn off the lights. Perfect spot for Gen Z aesthetic pics too! 📸✨ ✅ Open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM ‼️ If you’re going with a big group, make sure to book ahead!

Malacañan Palace, located in San Miguel on Mendiola Street, is a significant historical site in the Philippines. It served as the residence of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos for two decades until they were ousted during the People Power demonstration in 1986. Originally built by a Spanish aristocrat, it was later expanded and renovated by the Marcoses. The palace has undergone various transformations throughout history, including an exorcism performed when Aquino came to power.

First of all if you want to go to the museum you have to schedule an appointment first at the gate. So, I learned new things that I didn't know about the place which they don't write in historical books. It just takes you back in time with the items that the Philippine presidents used throughout the course of history from their campaigns, decorations, and much more. There is the sense of awe to think that you're standing at the same spot where the presidents held their meetings, conferences. I think it is a nice place to learn some part of the philippine history by knowing some facts of the men and women that lead the nation

Baluarte de San Diego, a stone fort built in 1586 in the shape of an ace of spades, is a must-visit landmark within Intramuros, Manila. This historical site features Spanish-inspired architecture and cobbled streets that transport visitors back to the Spanish era. Once used as a drowning chamber during the Spanish era, it now houses a bonsai display and serves as a venue for special events.
Beautiful experience to see some historic sites with beautiful bonsai trees and some nice gardens. This was Manila's first stone fortification developed by the Spanish and represents early colonial military architecture. It first started as a circular watchtower before becoming a star-shaped fort.

This place is so incredibly beautiful, and honestly anytime I've been here it's pretty empty. The grounds are very well maintained and you get a great little view getting on top of the ramparts to see outside of intramuros. There's lots of wonderful photo opportunities and history to be learned here, the staff is helpful as well. I feel like people don't know about this place and that's why it's so under visited but it's wonderful.

Baluarte de San Diego is one of the must-visit historical places in Manila. 🏰 The walls and gardens are well-preserved, giving you a glimpse of our rich history while enjoying a peaceful walk inside Intramuros. It’s a perfect spot for learning, photos, and just appreciating the beauty of old Manila. Truly a place that makes you proud of our heritage. 🇵🇭✨
Alwin Q — Google review
I personally recommend paying a bit for their local tricycle tour service, it is convenient with the tour guide explaining all the places to you. And you are also supporting the locals. Baluarte de San Diego, nestled within Manila's historic Intramuros, stands as a testament to the city's colonial past and architectural resilience. Originally constructed between 1586 and 1587 by Jesuit priest Antonio Sedeño as the circular fort Nuestra Señora de Guia, it was later integrated into the city's defenses, evolving into the spade-shaped bastion completed between 1653 and 1663. A notable feature near the Baluarte is a Japanese naval cannon, originally intended for coastal defense and later used on land during World War II (see my attached photos). This cannon serves as a tangible link to the area's wartime history. Today, the restored Baluarte de San Diego, with its concentric stone walls and landscaped gardens, offers visitors a serene glimpse into Manila's layered history. Its transformation from a military bastion to a public park underscores the city's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage.

The Spanish build it. The Japanese used it. It cool if your into old historical site. There is also a bonsai garden. I'd recommend mosquito repellent, a fan- it's hot, a hat, sun cream/umbrella, a passport ticket so you can see all the sites and get stamps/slight discount. WATCH OUT FOR THE TOUR GUIDES. You don't need them, everything is close together in walking distance. They run this scam where they show you a price ...say 400peso/pp and say it is for 2.5 hours and you get to ride in a tuktuk, but they drive + walk you around in circles so they take up all your time and than they drive you to a further away location and say it is for 400/ 30mins.

This area was really cool just small. You don't need a tour guide for this area so just say no when you're asked/approached. Just like everything else, this is outdoors and hot. There's a few stairs as well. Worth going if you're into history.

The Coconut Palace, also known as Tahanang Pilipino, is a unique government mansion located on the Cultural Center campus in the Philippines. It serves as the official residence of the Vice President and was built using indigenous materials such as coconut wood and shells. The palace showcases the country's cultural diversity with its diverse architectural influences and interior designs representing different regions of the Philippines.
Coconut Palace was commissioned in 1978 by First Lady Imelda Marcos to serve as a government guest house. It is made of several types of hardwood, coconut shells, and specially engineered coconut lumber. It cost 37 million PHP to build. It was offered to Pope John Paul II during his papal visit to the Philippines in 1981, but the Pope refused to stay there because it was too opulent given the level of poverty in the Philippines.
Anna K — Google review
I would love to visit, unfortunately you cannot come in just from the street. I was told by the guards I needed a “permit”. Also you cannot see much from behind the fence.
Dmitry Y — Google review
This place has very interesting story, as it was made simply to impress the Pope who unfortunately did not feel that way. However, for me it was a very underwhelming experience as I made it to the gate, but then was not allowed to proceed as "pemit" needed, no way to buy tickets at gate. Also, you do not even get very good photo opportunity through the gate.
Anders B — Google review
How to get any ticket to visit coconut palace?
Rotchel A — Google review
Should be used or open to the public. Hopefully it will be open someday again.
Dave G — Google review
Not open for general public don't go there
Paras V — Google review
There is no visiting hours and from the outside, you cannot see anything worth the trip. It's a shame a place with so much history is out of boundaries for tourists.
Mihai T — Google review
Interesting that it was made from coconuts, but it is just a building that is rather far from where most of the hostels are. If you have a few days to spend in Manila, it is worth checking out but don't go out of your way to see it.

Seafood restaurant

Seascape Village is a bustling commercial and entertainment center situated in Pasay, Metro Manila. Its prime waterfront location offers breathtaking views of Manila Bay and the city's famous sunsets, making it an ideal spot for a casual gathering or a romantic meal. The concept of Dampa and Paluto allows visitors to select fresh seafood from a wet market (Dampa) and have it cooked to their preference at various stalls (Paluto).
We recently hosted a benefit dinner for the Magsasaka Partylist at Seascape Village, and the experience was outstanding. The ambiance was perfect, the food was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, making our event a memorable success. Highly recommend Seascape Village for any special occasion!
Bon S — Google review
The Manila Bay reclamation has made this place lost its charm. There's a desolate atmosphere of the place and customers are few and between. Hopefully, Seascape Village returns to it's former popularity. Will feel bad if it gets closed.
JP ( — Google review
The process of selecting your seafood was a bit stressful since the vendors are very aggressive to get your business. They also try to sell you everything so make sure you know what you want before you go. Once you pick your seafood, it was only a matter of choosing how you want it prepared. Even picking a restaurant was overwhelming. In the end, everything was good and prepared to our expectation. I highly recommend going.

Celebrated my husband's Birthday. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. Will diffinetely to go back.
Maria P — Google review
The restaurants are really aggressive trying to get you to go to their restaurant. I had 3 different people from 3 different restaurants bombard me at once. It was stressful and annoying because they were fighting amongst themselves. Ending up eating somewhere else. They have an outdoor stage with live music. The only positive.
Benjamin F — Google review
We went to the Hot Pot place. This would have been a really nice venue but since the bay area around it has been reclaimed. It has lost a lot of its charm and drawing power. We came at lunchtime and many of the stalls and restaurants were closed. I don't know if it would have been different at dinner time.
ANTONIO C — Google review
The place needs some uplifting considering some tenants have moved out. Still a good place to go for a cozy drinking evenings which closes at 12 midnight.

Food was delicious and very fresh. Service staff indoors was very nice and fast however they lacked welcome staff outside. There are people smoking in the hallways but you get your private room anyway.

Its at amazing place for kids! They have food, games, baking and a whole lot of fun! The only down side is the price 🤣 other than that u really want ur kids to visit this place :)

DreamPlay is a fun, clean, and well-maintained indoor play space—perfect for kids and families. They have locker rooms, safety harnesses, and lots of activities that promote physical development and reduce screen time. Parents can comfortably hang out on the benches while kids explore. Great experience overall!

It's a pretty cool place for my nephew's to visit. They had so much fun doing all the activities. There are a handful of activities that they liked the most namely the air canon and the wall climbing! They also have an excellent diaper change room! I was pleasantly surprised on how clean the place was! They also provide a water fountain/dispenser for free for those people who do not want to purchase any of the bottled water in side the food stalls. Which I highly appreciate! Overall the kids wanted to comeback the next day!! :)

03.05.2024 First timer. Visited on a Friday almost noon and good thing it wasn’t that crowded yet. The rates are quite pricey but thankfully we have discount (thanks to relatives with staff benefit). It was a good and fun experience for the kids, so many characters walking around and can take a picture with them anytime. A lot of attractions that I think even adults could enjoy (I enjoyed it). Tiring though, but it’s for the kids mainly. We spent almost 5 hours inside and the kids can’t get enough of the slides and the ball pits. The staff are nice and helpful.
Rose B — Google review
Physical activities are in store for you and your kids. In this age of gadgets, this is a great escape from the digital play. The place is very cold so don't forget to bring your jackets. My favorite spot is Shrek's Swamp. I enjoyed it. There's the element of scare because you won't know where the swamp leads you but it was fun!
Annie G — Google review
Sulit if your kid is tall enough and likes extreme activities. It's also open up to 8pm and re-entry is allowed. When you get in go straight to the cooking class to register ahead, it gets full fast. It also helps to know the show times (ex puppet at 1pm, magic show at 3pm) Ice cream and some sweets available inside. They also have paid photo stations. Queue can be long and slow at the ticket counter. Don't bring your tiny ones here and try to get them to the attractions they're not allowed in

Video arcade
Amusement center
Timezone Ayala Malls Manila Bay is a massive 2,000 square meter entertainment hub that offers more than just the usual arcade games. It features activities like bowling, billiards, virtual reality experiences, a children's playground, and karaoke rooms. Despite being one of the largest branches in the Philippines, it doesn't get too crowded even during peak hours.
Hello, I’m Merlyn! I just want to share something close to my heart, my experience every time I go to Timezone. I’m actually a regular guest because I truly enjoy the atmosphere, the games, and the energy. But among all the branches I’ve been to, my experience at Timezone Ayala Malls stands out as the best so far. During my recent visit, we were assisted by Kuya Luigi Batara, also known as Kuya Lui. I must say, his service was exceptional. I currently work as a GEL (Guest Experience Leader) at McDonald’s, so I know firsthand how important it is to give customers a warm, memorable experience. And that’s exactly what Kuya Lui gave us. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcomed and valued. It didn’t feel like a typical staff and customer interaction, it felt more like a connection. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best time possible. Because of him, we didn’t just enjoy the games; we unlocked another level of experience, one that involved human connection, genuine care, and memorable service. It’s rare to meet someone who goes beyond what’s expected, but Kuya Lui did just that. He made us feel like VIPs and treated us not just as guests, but as people who mattered. That kind of service leaves a lasting impression. So to Timezone, thank you for creating a fun and welcoming environment. And most especially, thank you to Kuya Luifor making our visit unforgettable. You’ve set the bar high for customer service, and I hope more team members can follow your example. We'll definitely be back and we’ll be looking for Kuya Lui again!

I highly recommend this place😉👌

The place was super fun, clean, and full of good energy! I especially want to mention Lui, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was working fine and patiently fixed an issue with the VR. Lui also kindly offered me something to cover up while riding the Spin Zone since I was wearing a skirt. It was such a thoughtful gesture! Friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. Thank you for making my visit such a great experience!

We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Timezone Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we’ve had for a party venue! From the very beginning, when I made the initial inquiry all the way until the event ended, the team was incredibly accommodating and hands-on. Special thanks to Ms. Gracie Servillano, who personally assisted us throughout the entire process. She was very attentive, organized, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Her warm and professional approach gave us peace of mind, and she made us feel truly taken care of. The venue was clean, spacious, and very child-friendly. All of our guests, especially the kids, had an amazing time. The laughter and energy throughout the day were priceless! Even the adults got to enjoy and join in on the fun playing games, trying out the attractions, and bonding with their kids. We’re beyond grateful for the memorable experience. Thank you, Timezone Ayala Malls Manila Bay team, for helping make my son’s birthday such a fun, stress-free, and joy-filled celebration. We highly recommend this branch for anyone looking to host a party that both kids and grown-ups will love! We’ll definitely be back! 💖🎉👏

Museo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (money museum) is a place where you can learn about the history of currency in the Philippines. There are coins, medals, artifacts, and other monetary items on display here along with information about how it has changed over time. Admission is always free.
I recently visited the Museo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Money Museum) and had an amazing experience. The museum has been beautifully renovated and is well-organized, with sections showcasing different eras of Philippine currency. It’s both educational and fascinating to see how money evolved through the country’s history. They also have a beautiful store where you can buy collectible coins and unique merchandise. I learned so much and highly recommend it to anyone interested in history, culture, or currency!

A 3 Floor museum with Filipino modern and non Filipino art exhibitions. Low fee entrance for the exhibition. Do not loose your bag security ticket, otherwise the security will charge 50FP. Overall a worthy time for exploring the Filipino art.

Another museum inside the Central Bank of the Phils. Money museum tells about the history of commerce/trade in the Phils before the Spaniards came till the present times. It was interesting to know the evolution of money in the Phils from gold things and jewelries to barter trade with the Chinise, Indians and many more country to coins and paper bills. On the left side if the Money Museum is the Fort San Antonio Abad. A fortress used by Americans to defend our country from enemies.

As a numismatic fan for a long time and the BSP museum being closed for decades, I was elated when they announced the reopening of the museum. I appreciate how they laid out the museum with focus on the history of money in the Philippines. It was laid out in a chronological order and history buffs will definitely appreciate this. Actual money for the relevant periods are in exhibit. Though smaller than the previous iteration of the museum (it is now in the basement of the building versus on the ground floor previously) and less items on display (if I remember it correctly, previous museum also have foreign currencies on display), rebuilding the museum is very much appreciated. Kudos to the BSP team for a job well done. Note to visitors, although there is no entrance fee, please bring a valid ID since the museum is located within the BSP Hub office area and you will need to sign in.

Thank you Craft Academy Kids have really enjoyed all the activities. Staff are friendly and patient to the kids. They were able to learn a lot and had a best experience of crafting. We had a good time at Craft Academy, but we felt a bit rushed by the staff. It would be nice if the staff could receive some additional training to provide a more relaxed & fun experience for customers. Even though it wasn’t very busy at that time, we still felt like we needed to hurry because of how they treated us.
夢 — Google review
The first visit was great. The owner was very accommodating and understanding. However, on our 2nd visit, we felt rushed. Our kids did not even have the time to understand the ingredients that were supposed to be mixed "by them". Instead, the attendant did everything. I subtly let a sigh and let her hear that "my daughter should be mixing everything, right?" I think when the owner is gone, this is how it is run. We might or might not come back again.
Alvin P — Google review
We visited on Sunday and there was a 10-15mins waiting time for each craft. The place was neat despite of some activities being messy like dishwashing liquid making. The staff remain approachable and nice despite of lots of customers. When we visited there were pets inside so I assume they are pet friendly.
Sarah H — Google review
Good way to let the kids enjoy and do artistic crafts on their own with help from the attendants. Time to unwind and enjoy the colorful ambiance of the place.

Customer service was 5/10 and then they said to wait and come back after 40 mins to 1 hour for the candles and soap that we made, because it takes that long for it to cool and settle. We waited and went back after 30 mins, the store was closed, even if it was around 8:30pm (they said they close at 9pm). I sent a message to their Facebook page, and requested that they send the candles and soap to me via lalamove/lbc because we live 3 hours away from the mall. They said they will send it via lbc. 22 days since we went there and we still haven’t received it. They made us wait but they didn’t wait for us before they closed. No response din sa messages on their messenger. Baka naman pwede niyo replyan messages ko. Thanks
