Our son did a basketball camp here and it was great. He had lots of fun and was with a friend. They took care of the groups and they played outside. Great summer programs for kids , from sports to arts programs.

Beautiful and welcoming church. I attended a funeral here recently and listened to one of the best homilies and tributes to the deceased I have ever heard.

Not only is this z church but they help families through hard times with a food bank and resources. This church is a great place to vote for parliament officials. It is a safe and clean environment I would recommend to those that are looking for a connection with positive community members and God.

The Easter Vigil 2025 mass was well attended. Bishop Bergie gave a very good homily about water in Baptism. It needs to be flowing continuously to be alive! He asked the baptized lay people to help introduce Jesus to the world, first a living example. Seven new members of the Catholic Church were initiated. The choir awesome. Ample parking.

The first Catholic Church at St. Catharines was built to meet the spiritual needs of the Irish labourers who built the first Welland Canal which was opened in 1829. It was a wood structure on the same site as the present cathedral and was called St. John’s because the Anglicans were already using the name St. Catherine for their church in the town of the same name. On November 12 1831 Bishop Alexander Macdonell of Kingston blessed and opened this church, the first Roman Catholic Parish church to be built in the Niagara Peninsula. This first Catholic Church was burned down by an arsonist on August 23 1842. Fortunately the second Welland Canal was being built between 1842-45 and there were once again many Irish labourers in the area who used their free time to build a new parish church, this time of stone as we can see in the structure of the present Cathedral Church. Father Patrick McDonagh laid the cornerstone on Ascension Day May 25 1843 and opened the new church on June 10 1845. The new church was now dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. On November 25 1958 it became the Cathedral Church of the newly formed Diocese of St. Catharines.

Absolutely gorgeous inside. Reverent masses and the bishop is wonderful. Parking is a bit tight, and so is sitting room. Arrive early.

This church has wonderful biblical sound preaching , great worship , discipleship , youth groups , small groups and a heart for the community. So much diversity in this church family it’s so lovely to see . This church has lots of volenteers that serve & care for one another. Kids ministry is so well run & the summer camps are incredible. Can’t say enough great things about Harbour.

Harbour Fellowship Church is a welcoming body of believers, with biblically based teaching. There is a true heart for walking with people along the path from disenchantment to discipleship. I am thankful to call Harbour home.

I've only attended this church 2 times , but I feel more welcomed and cared about then the church I was baptized at. The Pastoral team there are so nice and on my first attendance made a point to introduce them self to me . The messages presented are biblically sound and the're focus is on the truth of Jesus Christ and serving him. They are focused on bringing Christ to the Niagara region and beyond . The have many community initiatives to bring the Gospel and help to local communities. If you're looking for a Church to plant roots and deepen you're faith Harbour just might be for you !!

My husband and I came from different Churches (he came from Harbour) and when we were newly married, he wanted to stay at his Church and I wanted to stay at mine, so the agreement was that we would find an entirely different Church. After several weeks of attending services at different Churches, somehow we ended up back at Harbour one Sunday morning and have never left since! 12 years later, I couldn't imagine my life without Harbour and the people who make it amazing!

Hello, I attended a Mass and Baptism @4:00pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in St. Catherine Ontario. The whole Family was blessed with Father Steven by explaining to all Family members the process of the Holy Baptism. Father Steven truly made this Baptism educational but very special and memorable, worth the 2 hour drive. If I was closer would consider going to Mass more frequently.

She was very disappointed that her retelling of the events of the automobile incident, somehow did not match up with video that Father Stephan offered, thus the bitter words below. To slander such a priest, that is rare in the order of grace these days, is a crime. Father Stephen is an immense blessing to this parish, and to those that he cares for.

Fr. Stephen Joseph Bruzzese Pastor is the worst pastor I ever met. When his employee crashed my car on church parking lot- Bruzzese didn’t ask if anything happen to my kids sitting in the car. Now don’t want to sent my kids to first communion because we don’t belong to this church! My kids go to St. Denis school and few days ago got letter inviting to this sacrament…

ABSOLUTELY INSULTING FOOD BANK SYSTEM. Just take a look at their web-page, you're expected to jump through a ton of hoops to register and then HOPE you can place an order in the 10 MINUTE WINDOW, ONLY OPEN 1 DAY A WEEK before "it's all gone" and then also not miss a single order, or even slightly inconvenience them or risk being PERMANENTLY BANISHED FROM THEIR "CHARITY...." It's churches like this that make the world a WORSE place, they're only good at making themselves look good while treating the people they claim to help with ZERO respect. Shame on all of you. You preach "Jesus loves everybody blablabla" all day long But if someone's in your parking lot for 5 seconds you start screaming at them to get out and how it's "private property" with more passion than any sermon ever got.

This is a flourishing church with an excellent message, and plenty of ways to get involved. When I first arrived a year-and-a-half ago, I had trouble taking it seriously because of the rock band at the front and the preaching style which is slightly less formal than I am used to. My wife really identified with it more than a traditional service, and we stayed. I'm very happy we did. My wife has been baptized, and our children have both been dedicated. The life groups have also been very helpful for me re-establishing a walk of faith. If you need a place that is open and loving while maintaining a christ-centered stance, this might be the place for you. The building is old, but well-maintained and the church is fairly accessible. There is a elevator to compensate for the numerous stairs. There is also a sunshine room, and trained volunteers to help with kids who have special needs during services. Extensive renovations have taken place in the last year or so. There are lots of ways to get involved, including children and youth ministries, homeless outreach, food bank, life groups, and other volunteer opportunities. There are regular community outreach events for things like easter, christmas, and summer vacation. You don't need to be a member if you don't want to. Just follow the Facebook page, and show up I still miss the organ. Free reformed doesn't super have a place for me, but it's nice to go back once in a while and here the traditional music. I also wish the picture taking could be curtailed a little bit. Do we really need cell phones out during prayer time? I'm also not a huge fan of facebook, especially in light of the ethics of the people who run it. I don't particularly want pictures of my kids there. Yes, I know Google isn't any better. I chit chat here all the time, but I don't post pictures of my family. I think the fact that I'm blind and can't see it happening. I don't get asked, and I find out after the fact is part of what makes me annoyed about the shutter bugging. The most important thing is that my family has a loving place to flourish in Christ if reading some Google review helps you decide to come out, then I look forward to meeting you.

I was stuck here for a few months, due to a fire which by the way I almost died from. I had just gotten out of the hospital with severe lung damage! I was not treated well by some of the staff! The doctors at the hospital were firm in regard to bed rest and exercise in moderation, at my own pace! Unfortunately, the so-called "guidelines" aka rules were extremely unflexible. This caused me a setback in recuperating time! I might add I am a senior! I was led to believe that this was a shelter for people without any place to live! I found out fairly quickly that this place tries to act like a rehab centre and a jail! I only was able to relate to 2 or 3 people at this place! It really disappoints me that although Southridge is supposed to be a Christian church, the way the "Shelter" is mismanaged, I don't really see any true Christian beliefs in action! Some of the people working there are fantastic, yet there are some that should not be working there! It's unfortunate, as I have spoken to many people who said it was a good place just 5 years ago!

This is a shelter for the homeless. It is what you could expect. The Church has helpful staff with a good schedule to fit those that are in need.

I don't remember the last time I crossed the threshold of a church, but this place was very welcoming to new members of the community - the service I attended was about emotional spirituality, and the message was deep.

There is a sense of home at this place. There is no place I've been to like this that is as welcoming and involving. Here, they want to grow you in the spiritual sense as well as in the social one. They have all these community activities that make you feel like you were meant to attend there; study cafes, life groups, Christmas dinners, worship days. There is so much to this place.

I go to the Willow Arts center which is the community center connected to the Silver Spire. It has changed my life. The inclusive atmosphere and free art classes are amazing.

Great place to meet people and they're doing great things

Silver spire church is a religious place with volunteers for the out of the Cold program which delivers supper to the homeless and destitute. They are very caring, giving group of volunteers and the clergy are very supportive, compassionate and understanding.

I met great , nice and kind people. I respect them and miss a lot. They are doing good things. Also, Worship gave me peace and happy.

Co-op with Carousel Players in the building. Very clean. Karen and Jim are always super friendly and check in when we run into them in the hallway. The office I'm in is very welxoming and friendly.

Coming from a bit of a chaotic past and environment there was a point in time where I wanted to give up on the Christian Church, but was invited to cross the border from NY to Canada to visit New Covenant. Had a few friends attending there but still felt the need to keep my guard up. I’ve been attending for almost a year and this church, the people, the leadership have truly become a genuine, sincere, and honest home and family. I’m glad I made the effort to give them a chance to be a part of my healing and restoration in the Lord. I pray more people can see and experience what I’ve been able to find in this place. The pastor is a great guy very humble and the church members are very friendly too. It is a good thing to open up your heart to JESUS, you have peace of mind and you don't worry about tomorrow.

This is a smaller church, but a nice church. I say that to say, the earlier you arrive, is the better chance for parking in their lot. But this is a wonderful place to serve and worship

Beautiful Catholic Church in St. Catharines. The life-sized crucifix outside the church is a good reminder to prayer. There is a Legion of Mary branch in this parish. Thank you for Fr. Mieczysław Burdzy, omi for your inspiration and support.

Not so sure about the church itself, but the Marian altar in the back is absolutely stunning and I often go here to offer up prayers to Our Lady. Recommend it for all Catholics.

Even after being absent for years, they still brought me back and welcomed me like long lost family. Pastor Ken and his family have had a great impact on many peoples lives. I will forever be grateful for this church and how they’ve healed me. God is great.

My experience at this Holy Spirit filled Church has been a blessing. The Pastor, his family and the congregation were all welcoming and quickly became family. This Church is filled with so much of the Love of God that it’s felt the minute you walk in the doors from everyone.

I love the Full Gospel Church in St. Catharines. I was visiting the area and was looking for a church to attend and I (God's direction) chose this church. From the moment I entered their door, I felt welcomed and relaxed. The sermon by Pastor Jim was easy to understand and very thought provoking. If I ever decide to move to the St. Catharines area, I would certainly make this my church. P.S. The greeter at the door was very friendly and welcoming - I think his name was Jim, and the worship team was amazing.

The business hours are 9am-10am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Saturday 10am - 11am and Sundays 9am to 12 pm. Sunday 9.00am English service and 10:30 am Ukrainian.

This is a beautiful Ukrainian Catholic Church which can be seen from the highway. The priest is eager to show people around and explain the iconography that is scattered on the entirety of the Church!

We enjoy coming to Full Gospel Church , this is a place that can meet all your Christian needs , friendly and they welcome you !!!!

It's like a family. Kind and considerate members. Very warm. The message is clean and from the Bible. No half measures.

Love the smaller church setting where no one is left out and all are accountable to each other.

I find that the sermons preached at Port Church are Biblically correct, which is the essence of what God wants us to hear. I have grown spiritually in the Lord. Everyone is very welcomed to come to hear and share in their spiritual walk with Lord. I'm blessed by being part of Port Church family.

The Church members are very friendly and courteous. I enjoyed the preaching of the word and the potluck on Tuesday night bible Study. Very good consideration in reaching out to the community and caring for the elders in the grace of God Amen. Blessed be the name of the Lord God Almighty Amen.

Best Zumba Gold classes on site Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Lots of space in the gym. All covid protocols in place.

They had an amazingly great roast beef dinner with live music and dancing for Valentine's Day. The best time I've had for years!

Gave me a warning to move my car the next day or it would be towed and then towed it the same day. What was the point of issuing a warning? I would have had no issues moving my car honestly, but the way they decided to go about things lacked so much grace…especially for a church.

I haven't been to a service yet. I attend the Thursday night BBQ during the summer.

Beautiful, friendly people. A relaxed Anglican atmosphere. Everyone is welcome here. Breakfast served 365 days a year for anyone who needs it at 7:30 am. Lots of activities, I love it. The Choir is awesome.

The free dinners are my favourite. They do barbecues with hotdogs and burgers, sometimes they do stew, sometimes pasta. Always fresh coffee and other beverages. Fun friendly environment. Recommended :)

Fantastic Anglican church with a large and active congregation, great sermons, and even a slightly younger presence than other such churches in the area. The music is also fantastic with a great organist and choir, hymns galore! Great for if you are looking for a church for your family to attend, with both nursery and Sunday school available for kids during the service.
