I visited here for the very first time. It was such a great experience. Calm, long sea view, rain 🌧️ make the experience a lot better.

Great place, but nothing can be seen due to mumbai dust. Also way too many cringe people doing stunts and pranking, some were even harassing girls.

Fortress

Historic Sites
Bandra Fort, also known as Castella de Aguada, is a captivating piece of history nestled in the vibrant Bandra area of Mumbai. Built by the Portuguese in 1640, this fort served as a watchtower overlooking Mahim Bay and offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and Worli islands. The rocky pathways lead you through its storied past while providing stunning backdrops for photography enthusiasts.
Finally found my place in Mumbai where I can find peace. Went around 10am on Saturday morning and it was peaceful. Place is really well maintained and good for picnics with great view.
Nona P — Google review
Bandra Fort is a lovely old fort located right by the sea, close to the Sea Link. I came here for the first time and was really impressed. From the base itself, you get a beautiful view of the ocean — but once you go up to the fort, the view becomes even more amazing. The Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link looks stunning from here, especially during sunset. This spot has been featured in many Bollywood movies and web series, and when you stand there, you understand why. The calm breeze, sound of the waves, and wide-open sea — it just feels peaceful. There’s also a small garden-like area developed around the fort, which is clean and adds to the experience. Families, couples, and even photographers come here just to enjoy the vibe. However, I noticed there’s some construction happening in the sea now — another bridge is being built. Once that’s completed, the clear open sea view from here might not be the same again. So if you want to enjoy this place in its full charm — now is the time to visit.
Hari R — Google review
The Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link looks stunning especially during sunset. This spot has been featured in many Bollywood movies and web series. The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers stunning views of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and the Arabian Sea. It's not as crowded as other tourist spots in Mumbai, which gives it a peaceful vibe. Perfect for a leisurely walk, photography, or just enjoying the view. You can get down through the stones near the water. The view is lovely. Near to this fort SRK’s house is their “MANNAT”. This place is quite costly and besides fort TAJ Hotel is there. . I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic spot in Mumbai. Some shops sell snacks, Maggie, cool drinks and tea outside the main gate of the fort.
Neegar A — Google review
Wander Fort is a perfect weekend spot with scenic views and historic charm. A little crowded, but great for couples and photography lovers.
Sanket Y — Google review
Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the stunning view of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link! The Bandra Fort area is peaceful, especially around sunset, great for photography and spending time with friends. Clean, breezy, and scenic; a perfect little escape in the city.
Shivam H — Google review
Beautiful sunset point with historical charm! Visited Bandra Fort last weekend and loved the experience. The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers stunning views of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and the Arabian Sea. Great spot for photos, evening walks, or just sitting quietly Perfect for couples, tourists, and locals alike. Best to visit around 5–6 PM for the sunset.
Bhautik P — Google review
The Bandra Fort had the perfect view of the sea-link bridge. The sunset was also very amazing from here. The gov has developed the place too into a beautiful park. But recently there is some construction of some other bridge in front of the sea link bridge and it has destroyed the total beauty of the view. With large cranes and metal platforms. Dont visit the place if you are a tourist in recent times.
Soumyadipto G — Google review
This is an excellent place to come and enjoy with friends, family or just alone. Facing the sea and with Bandra Worli sea link just beside it, the view is spectacular. Just come and climb the fort, sit on the tables or just view the waves crashing into the stone during sunset time to forget all worries. Only if they can keep it open till 7 instead of 6, it would be even better

The Hanging Gardens of Mumbai, also known as the Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, are a serene oasis perched atop Malabar Hill. This terraced garden is famous for its meticulously sculpted animal-shaped hedges and vibrant flower beds that overlook the Arabian Sea. It's a popular spot for families, offering well-laid pathways, a play area for children, and breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset over the city.
Hanging Gardens is one of the famous gardens located in South Bombay. It's a pleasant place to sit and relax, good place to spend time with your friends and family. The cleanliness is maintained inside the garden, it's quite big to roam. I've been here a few times. People of all age groups can visit here.

Hanging Gardens (Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens), Mumbai is a serene rooftop oasis atop Malabar Hill with stunning Arabian Sea sunset views. It have terraced gardens feature animal shaped hedges, well-kept flowerbeds, and a charming flower clock, making it ideal for families, joggers, and photographers. Other side of the road Kamala Nehru Park, Also Known As The Hanging Garden. This Park has Special Iconic Shoe-Shaped Structure which is used to call mhataricha boot. You can sit there and enjoy the nature and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended garden to visit if you're in Mumbai.
Neegar A — Google review
Garden is open to all, but haven’t seen pets around there. It’s called a “view point” it clearly provides a very beautiful view to marine drive and a must visit place in evenings. People come here to spend quality time or leisure time, it’s an attraction to tourist so many tour buses visit this point. Park is clean and hygiene is well maintained. Good for pictures in morning and for view you can visit in evening.
Simran P — Google review
🏕️I recently visited Hanging Garden after many years, and honestly, it was a little disappointing. I had been here around 10-12 years ago during my college days, and at that time, the garden was absolutely beautiful. It used to be very big, full of colorful flowers, well-maintained green grass, and spacious sitting areas — the whole atmosphere was so peaceful and fresh. But now, most of the area has been reduced, there are very few flowers, and the green grass has almost disappeared. The beauty and charm which it had earlier is definitely missing now. I still remember how beautiful it used to be during my college days — full of greenery, colorful flowers, and spacious sitting areas. I miss that charm. Giving 4 stars only because of the memories attached to this place.😊
Kalpana S — Google review
One of the oldest and beautiful gardens of South Mumbai. It is already situated in a height in Malabar Hills. It has really scenic view. Lots of cats can be seen. A heaven place for Cat Lovers. The garden itself has many plants trimmed in shape of animals. Entry is free here. Please keep it clean. I have seen many littered wrappers.

Visited the Hanging Gardens on Malabar Hill, and it’s a fun and refreshing spot in the middle of the city. • Attractions: The famous giant shoe structure is a highlight, especially for kids and families. • Layout: Spread out across a vast area with neatly maintained gardens, pathways, and viewpoints overlooking Marine Drive and the Arabian Sea. • Experience: Walking down into the valley area gives a sense of space and greenery you don’t often find in Mumbai. • Vibe: Calm, breezy, and good for a casual stroll, picnic, or just some downtime. Overall, Hanging Gardens is a great place to relax, enjoy the views, and explore—a simple but worthwhile escape in South Mumbai.

Hanging Gardens, also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens, is one of the most iconic and peaceful spots in Mumbai. Located on top of Malabar Hill, it offers a stunning view of the Arabian Sea and the famous Marine Drive, especially during sunset. The place is filled with lush greenery, colorful flower beds, and beautifully maintained pathways, making it perfect for a morning walk, evening stroll, or just a quiet moment away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The garden is very clean and well-maintained, with benches placed all around where you can sit and relax. The famous animal-shaped hedges are a big attraction, especially for kids. It’s a great place for families, couples, and even photographers looking for a scenic view of South Mumbai. The calm atmosphere and fresh breeze make it one of the best spots to unwind. You can also see the Parsi Towers of Silence nearby, adding a touch of heritage to the surroundings. The entry is free, and the place is quite safe even in the evenings. Overall, Hanging Gardens is a must-visit if you’re in Mumbai — a perfect mix of nature, beauty, and peace right in the middle of the busy city.
Ashish S — Google review
Hanging Gardens are directly located opposite the Kamala Nehru Park allowing visitors to explore both the gardens. Hanging gardens are constructed on multi level stone terrace giving it a hanging apperance. The gardens do not have wheel chair accessibility. The hanging gardens serve as a welcome escape from the bustling Mumbai life. The location of the surrounding area of the garden is sophisticated and upmarket.

Versova Beach, located in the western suburbs of Mumbai, is a quieter alternative to the bustling Juhu Beach. It offers swimmable waters and breathtaking sunset views over the Arabian Sea. The beach is known for its clean sandy and rocky landscape and is popular among couples and youngsters seeking solace away from city life. Versova Beach also features a colorful fishing village with a vibrant fish market, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying mesmerizing sunsets.
A Perfect place to hang out with friends. And usually less busy than Juhu beach. Horse riding and jet skiing is also available sometimes.
Animesh P — Google review
In my opinion, every beach is serene. Versova beach is no exception. 10 mins walking distance from Versova Metro Station. If walking, avoid going by the slums route (near thorats barbecue misal) because there's a lot of trash and snack stalls are far. Walk a little more and take Persian Darbar's route aka Main Entrance (extra 5-10 mins walking). Sharing rickshaw from the metro station will cost 20rs per person, it will drop you near the main entrance. Kalkhatta Gola is for 50rs, Mix Gola is for 60rs. You can tell the vendor to make a normal Gola to avoid fancy heart shape. You can rent a beach mat for 150rs or sit on the rocks. Don't throw litter, carry your trash out with you and dispose it in a dustbin. Be responsible and enjoy!
Draksha K — Google review
I must say, this is one of the less crowded and cleaner beaches in Mumbai 😒. There are small chat stalls around, but be careful — drainage water keeps flowing onto the beach, so watch your step. Autos and restaurants are available on the main road, but you won’t find any seaside cafés here.
Ussubeee — Google review
This beach is quote pretty but holds dirt It is one of the beautiful beaches of Mumbai It holds both Koli and Christian community and they both live quite happily It is not very crowded normally Horse rides are available here The sunset is quite mesmerizing to watch from here
Sonali R — Google review
Amazing, quiet beach. What a difference from crowded Juhu beach. And not that far away. I would choose peace and quiet over crowds and popularity any time. Perfect for sunset watching and walks on the beach.
Ewa T — Google review
I recently visited this beach and was surprised to see it so clean. There is a drive on cleaning Versova beach and the team has done a wonderful job and hope this continue and the public using it ensure that it’s maintain the way it’s now. Keep up the good work !
Munish P — Google review
A very peaceful and beautiful place for family , friends and couples , you can enjoy and relax your mind. I Love the place.
Fatima K — Google review
Versova Beach is a hidden gem nestled in the bustling city of Mumbai. With its long stretch of golden sand, the beach is perfect for an early morning stroll or winding down after a hectic day. The rhythmic sound of the waves, the cool sea breeze, and the distant call of the fishermen setting out to sea create a serene atmosphere that’s hard to find in a metro city. Top Highlights of this Beach – • Scenic views: Versova’s coastline offers a beautiful sunrise view with the sea reflecting soft pastels. It’s an ideal spot for photographers and nature lovers. • Cleanliness efforts: The beach has come a long way, thanks to regular clean-up drives organized by local volunteers. You’ll often see community members picking up plastic and debris, making the shoreline more enjoyable. • Community vibe: There’s a strong local presence here. Fishermen at work, kids flying kites, and families spending time together give the beach a warm, communal feel. Things to Know: • Crowd levels: Weekends and evenings can get busy, especially during festive seasons. If you prefer tranquility, visiting early in the morning is best. • Facilities: Basic amenities are available public toilets and a few food stalls serving chai, snacks, and seafood. However, don’t expect luxury cafés or upscale eateries. • Safety: The sea can be rough at times. Swim only in designated zones and stay near lifeguard-patrolled areas. The beach is generally safe during daylight hours. My Experience: I visited on a serene weekday morning. The cool breeze, soft sand underfoot, and the sight of fishermen mending nets made it a calming escape. I joined a local clean-up drive, which added meaning to my visit. Though facilities are simple, the real charm lies in the untouched, local ambience. Overall, Versova Beach is a must-visit for anyone looking for a quieter, more authentic Ayurvedic sea-breeze escape in Mumbai. I’d recommend adding your own touch by participating in volunteer activities or simply enjoying a peaceful walk.

The Global Vipassana Pagoda, situated near Gorai in Mumbai, is a stunning golden pagoda with a massive stone dome that serves as a meditation hall. It can accommodate up to 8,000 people and stands as a symbol of peace and harmony. The design was inspired by the practice of Vipassana meditation, aimed at promoting peace and compassion.
A place of serenity & tranquility! Incredibly clean, beautiful & peaceful. If only we had more well-maintained places in India such as this... There's a decent food plaza as well. Parking needs to be done a little far from the entrance (~3 mins walk) and rightly so. Also, free entry.
Abudhar H — Google review
I truly loved the place and admired its beautiful architecture. The surroundings are aesthetically pleasing and spiritually significant. However, what deeply disappointed me was the complete lack of peace. Visitors were speaking loudly, some were playing music, and others were busy making reels—completely disregarding the sanctity of the place. It was chaotic and disrespectful. Peace Pagodas are meant for meditation, reflection, and inner calm—a truly beautiful concept. Unfortunately, the atmosphere here felt more like a social circus than a spiritual retreat. The management seriously needs to step up and enforce some basic rules of silence and decorum. They could take inspiration from the Peace Pagoda in Nepal, where the environment is far more serene and respectfully maintained.
Aditya N — Google review
The Global Vipassana Pagoda is a beautifully maintained spiritual landmark near Gorai, Mumbai, admired for its peaceful ambience and grand architecture. It can be reached conveniently by ferry from the Borivali side (Gorai Khadi) or by road through Mira Bhayandar–Uttan. Entry is free, and ample parking is available for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. A café inside serves delicious quick bites at reasonable rates, ideal for a short refreshment break. Visitors are encouraged to maintain cleanliness and decorum within the premises. The pagoda tends to attract larger crowds on weekends, so visiting on weekdays is preferable for a more tranquil experience. Public transport options like MBMT buses and shared rickshaws also make it easily accessible.
Pranav M — Google review
Visited the Global Vipassana Pagoda in Gorai with my friends and had a really good experience. The entry is free, and the place is very neat, clean, and well-maintained. Washrooms and drinking water facilities are available, along with a small café for refreshments. A few sections were shut during our visit, but overall the atmosphere was calm and peaceful, especially since we went on a weekday with almost no crowd. To reach the Pagoda, you can take a ferry from Gorai, which costs around ₹100 (return ticket). From Borivali railway station or Borivali metro station, you can take a shared auto to the ferry point. The journey itself was smooth and added to the experience. Overall, a wonderful place to visit for peace, meditation, and beautiful architecture, away from the chaos of the city

🌏✨ Experiencing Peace at the Global Vipassana Pagoda Visiting the Global Vipassana Pagoda, the world’s largest Buddha dome, is not just a journey to a monument but a profound experience of inner peace and spirituality. Nestled near Gorai in Mumbai, this grand architectural marvel stands tall as a symbol of harmony, meditation, and timeless wisdom. The moment I entered the pagoda, I felt an overwhelming sense of calmness, as if the world outside had slowed down and I was stepping into a sanctuary of silence. 🪷 The massive dome structure, built without supporting pillars, is an architectural wonder in itself. Standing beneath it, one can only marvel at the craftsmanship and dedication behind such a creation. The atmosphere inside is deeply tranquil, designed specifically to enhance meditation practices. Sitting there, even for a short while, made me feel connected to something greater than myself – a sense of inner stillness and clarity. 🙏 What struck me most was the spirit of Vipassana meditation taught here. The pagoda is not just a monument but also a learning center where people from across the globe come to practice mindfulness and self-awareness. The teachings of the Buddha are preserved in a way that anyone, regardless of background, can benefit from them. 🌸 Walking around the campus, the golden spire of the pagoda gleamed under the sunlight, reminding me of the power of peace and compassion in today’s fast-paced world. The surroundings, filled with greenery and silence, made the experience even more serene. 🕊️ Visiting the Global Vipassana Pagoda is truly unforgettable – it is not only about witnessing the world’s largest Buddha dome but also about experiencing a journey within yourself. It is a reminder that in silence lies strength, and in mindfulness lies the key to real happiness. 🌟

Powai Lake is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Mumbai. It’s a perfect spot to relax and take a break from the busy city life. The calm water, cool breeze, and scenic surroundings make it a wonderful place to spend time with family or friends. The lake looks especially stunning during sunrise and sunset — the reflection of the golden light on the water is simply mesmerizing. There are well-maintained walking paths and seating areas around the lake, making it ideal for morning walks, evening strolls, or just sitting quietly and enjoying the view. The area is quite clean and organized, and you’ll find some food stalls and small snack shops nearby. The environment feels safe, refreshing, and close to nature — perfect for photography lovers too! My overall experience at Powai Lake was very peaceful and enjoyable. It’s a great place to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature right in the heart of the city. If you’re in Mumbai, Powai Lake is definitely a must-visit spot! 🌿✨

Powai Lake, located in the bustling suburb of Powai, Mumbai, is a serene man-made lake that serves as a peaceful escape from the city's chaos. Constructed in 1891 to address water supply issues, the lake spans approximately 2.1 square kilometers and is surrounded by lush greenery and urban landscapes. Though no longer a primary source of drinking water, it remains a vital ecosystem for diverse flora and fauna. The lake's picturesque surroundings make it a popular spot for picnics, leisurely walks, and photography. Tourists and locals flock to admire the stunning sunsets, enjoy boat rides, or simply relax by the waterfront. Nearby attractions like the Powai Garden and the Hiranandani Complex add to its appeal. Over the years, efforts have been made to conserve its natural beauty despite challenges like urbanization. Powai Lake continues to be a cherished landmark, offering a tranquil retreat in the heart of Mumbai.

It offers a serene retreat from the bustling city life and boasts one of the longest coastlines in the area. Visitors can enjoy shallow waters, breathtaking sunsets, and a variety of street food vendors offering local delicacies like bhelpuri, pav bhaji, and South Indian dishes.
Wonderful beach. Usually a less crowded area. I will suggest going between 0530-0630pm or 0550-0640am for the nicest view. You will get plenty of space if you are planning to play football.

Peaceful and breezy spot in the middle of the city chaos. Aksa Beach is clean, calm, and perfect for a relaxing walk. Great place to unwind, especially during sunrise

It is an amazing beach. The best place to sit on the beach is towards the south end where water flows from the mangrove tree zone area into the ocean and gives a feeling of a small river stream.

A good place to spend your evening in touch with nature. Good snacks available. Ample parking space. Clean but has a stench typical of Mumbai beaches. Loved the place.
Bee A — Google review
It's a really clean beach. Felt very good over here. It was very peaceful and serene. We went during the afternoon to evening. It has some bad reputation due to from old times but I don't think those things are valid anymore at least during the day definitely I can vouch for. It's not like other beaches which are crowded.

Aksa Beach is a peaceful spot away from the city's hustle, great for a quiet walk or sunset view. The beach is less commercialized, which adds to its charm, but the water isn’t ideal for swimming due to strong currents and safety warnings. Cleanliness can vary, and facilities are limited, so plan accordingly. Overall, a decent place for a short, relaxing visit.

Asilo is a luxurious rooftop lounge located on the 40th floor of the St. Regis Mumbai, offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea. The open-air restaurant specializes in grilled food and cocktails, making it an ideal spot for a lazy Sunday brunch. While it may be a bit pricey, the experience promises to be unforgettable.
I booked a reservation through the EazyDiner app for a restaurant located on the 38th floor of the St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel. The ambiance was very relaxing, with no intrusive music, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning skyline views. We ordered only vegetarian dishes, and everything were okay and good—no complaints at all. The staff was courteous and attentive. I’ll definitely be visiting again!
Manish S — Google review
The atmosphere is definitely classy—a nice rooftop spot with a proper dining experience, great for a date. But the food? A complete letdown. The quantity doesn’t justify the price at all, and the taste was downright disappointing—felt like street food at a premium price. Service was okay, presentation was decent but nothing special, and the cocktails were just average. Chicken skewers sucked.
Aishna A — Google review
Had a great experience with rooftop dining the ambience and city view were totally worth it! Tried their pizza and it was really good fresh and flavourful. Slightly on the expensive side, but if you’re looking for a chill vibe with a scenic backdrop, it’s a fine pick!
Vyom — Google review
A nice roof top bar with great views across the city, however the smell of smoke is very strong. The menu is reasonably priced and the food portion sizes are large. We ordered three dishes initially, the lotus stem, the burrata flatbread and the broccoli. The last dish had a weird taste so we had to cancel it, they made a bit of a fast but eventually agreed.

Great food, good service and awesome ambience. Facing Juhu beach, you can't get it better. Wide array of starters and main course, spacious sitting arrangement and thumping music. Perfect way to spend a weekend evening with friends.

Location wise this restaurant is perfect - right on the beach on an elevated platform. However rest everything else is worse than a roadside eatery. Service - 0 service, you will have to do multiple requests to clean tables and yet they are quite unclean. Waiting staff is never around and does a bad job in taking orders or giving any service Food - Since it is bar, food options are so limited, you will learn them by heart in 2 reads. Quality is ok and hit or miss. Nothing worth mentioning here. Recommendation - Only good for the refreshing Juhu beach in a Goa shack style. All similarities with a decent restaurant end with its location.

The atmosphere was quite good. Like sitting on beach watching sunset without any chaos that too on juhu beach was beautiful...That is only pro. Menu had very limited options.. Service was quite slow... for water we have to wait for 20 mins... Food was also not up to the mark... Salads what they served was not fresh... We can not expect from 5 stars...

This beautiful, sea facing restaurant is located inside Novotel, Juhu. The outside seating is just beside the beach and provides beautiful views of the sea. We found service to be a bit slow. Also, you would face the sea and waiters are behind your back at a distance. Food was not the best but views and atmosphere makes for it. An amazing place for a date or even for hanging out with friends.

If you remove the view from this lounge, I won’t ever go there. I love peaceful sunsets with Gin and Tonic. Place is thoroughly treated at a substandard way and needs are lot upkeep - investment and interest from those who own and run the show. It’s a perfect place to go in the dark when you don’t notice worn out sofa sets - tables and cutlery etc. Rest leads should lead the way as you enter hostess leaves you at entrance and then you walk alll the way alone and just sit anyways and keep waving for attention.. that’s your first impression- Lest skip the details … opening of this review give you rest clarity.

It's puzzling that they take bookings without checking upon entry, but the breathtaking sunset view made up for it. The pricing of the food is reasonable, and the service is top-notch. A thoughtful touch is providing food covers to ward off bird interruptions—adds a unique charm to the experience.

The usual beach 🏖️ case scenario like any other beach. The approach road to reach the beach is too narrow. So narrow that only one vehicle can pass at a time & road itself causes Traffic Jam. Gorai Beach is decent if you're looking for a quick escape from city life. It’s relatively cleaner than some other Mumbai beaches, but weekends can get quite crowded. Best to go on a weekday. The horse rides and ATV bikes add some fun for kids. It could be better maintained, but overall, a good experience.

I visited Goirai Beach recently and it’s a very nice spot – definitely one of the best beaches in Mumbai if you want to enjoy a beach that is clean and very less crowded. Unlike the usual busy beaches, this one is peaceful and perfect for a quiet day out with family or friends. The view of the sea, open sky, and calm surroundings makes it really relaxing. The sand is clean, and there’s plenty of space to walk or just sit and enjoy the scenery. You won’t feel the usual chaos of Mumbai beaches here. However, basic infrastructure is limited – there aren’t many food stalls, seating areas, or clean washrooms nearby, so it’s better to plan accordingly. Accessibility by car is okay, but the approach roads are a little narrow. Overall, Goirai Beach is a great spot for a peaceful outing. If you want a quiet, clean, and relaxing beach experience away from the crowd, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Crowded and chaotic with beautiful views of the sunset The beach is jam packed in the evenings. Need to move away from the crowda to enjoy some solitude The distressing part is that vehicles are allowed all the way into the beach. In low tides the cars go all the way in The authorities are just setting up for some incident to happen. ATVs are all over place. Kids cannot be left alone On top of all these its a mess to get in and especially get out post susnet The exit road is a mess due to all vehicles trying to get out. Hailing an auto becomes difficult Would not visit again What a mess.

The site offers exquisite grandeur and beauty, attracting tourists to explore its religious significance and architectural splendor. Situated on an island, the dargah provides a captivating view at sunset as sunlight reflects off the ocean and illuminates the coastal roads.
The Causeway: A narrow, unprotected walkway stretches into the sea, connecting the mainland to the Dargah, offering a unique and memorable experience with waves sometimes lapping at your feet. Stalls: Along the causeway, you'll find stalls selling religious items, food, and other goods, with some visitors noting that the number of shops has reduced over time. High Tide: Be aware that the causeway gets submerged during high tide, so check the tide timings to ensure access to the Dargah.

Neegar A — Google review
Haji Ali Dargah is a revered mosque and tomb located on a tiny islet off the coast of Worli in Mumbai, India. It stands as one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, drawing millions of devotees and tourists. Built in 1431, this sacred structure commemorates Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, a wealthy Muslim merchant from Bukhara (present-day Uzbekistan) who renounced worldly possessions for a pilgrimage to Mecca. Haji Ali Shah Bukhari was a Sufi saint of the Chishti Order, known for his piety and miracles. Legend has it that once, seeing a poor woman cry over spilled oil, he miraculously restored it by touching the ground – an act that later filled him with remorse, leading to his spiritual journey. Before dying en route to Mecca, he instructed followers to cast his coffin into the Arabian Sea. Miraculously, it floated to Mumbai's shores, lodging on rocky islets near Worli, prompting the Dargah's construction there. The architecture showcases exquisite Indo-Islamic style with white Makrana marble (the same used in the Taj Mahal), domes, and minarets, reflecting Mughal influences. Its striking white structure contrasts beautifully against the Arabian Sea backdrop. The Dargah is situated on an islet, accessible via a causeway during low tide – visitors must plan visits accordingly as the path gets submerged at high tide. It is open from 5:30 AM to 10 PM daily, with the best time to visit between October and March for pleasant weather. Entry to the Dargah is free, though donations are accepted; devotees often contribute offerings like chaddar (cloth covers for the tomb). Modest dress is suggested for visitors as a mark of respect. Approximately 40,000 people visit on Thursdays and Fridays, with devotees from various faiths coming to seek blessings. Haji Ali Dargah is famed for its spiritual aura and architectural beauty – people of all faiths visit this symbol of Sufi harmony. The tomb of Haji Ali is covered with red and green chaddar, adorned with a silver frame, marking the saint's resting place. Intricate mirror work and Quranic inscriptions decorate the interiors, showcasing craftsmanship. Qawwali performances, traditional Sufi devotional music, are held on Fridays, adding to the spiritual ambiance. The Dargah complex includes a sanatorium, reflecting the charitable ethos associated with Sufi institutions. Haji Ali Shah Bukhari's story intertwines history and miracles, cementing his revered status. The 15th-century origins tie it to medieval Sufi movements influencing India deeply. The miraculous floating casket narrative remains central to its legend. The Dargah survived Mumbai's severe 1949 floods unscathed – seen by many as testament to its sanctity. It has appeared in popular culture, like the Bollywood song _Piya Haji Ali_ (film _Fiza_, 2000), highlighting cultural resonance. Urs (death anniversary celebrations) and Eid festivals draw large, enthusiastic crowds. Visitors often remark on the tranquil ambiance contrasting with Mumbai's urban dynamism. Photography is allowed outside the sanctum; mobile phones/cameras capture its majestic vistas. Accessibility via the tidal causeway demands timing awareness – check local tide schedules. Dress modestly; remove footwear before entering sacred areas per customs. Devotees tie threads on latticework (jali) for wishes, a common practice at Sufi shrines. Haji Ali Dargah embodies Mumbai's cultural fusion and spiritual harmony. It's a serene oasis amid urban bustle, attracting pilgrims/devotees globally for blessings and solace. The structure signifies India's rich Sufi heritage alongside landmarks like Ajmer Sharif.

"Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai is a renowned shrine famous not only in Mumbai but across India. The dargah of Pir Haji Ali Baba is situated in the Arabian Sea and is steeped in an unbelievable story. One of the most fascinating aspects of this shrine is that despite being surrounded by the sea, the pathway to the dargah remains dry even during high tide. Thousands of devotees visit Haji Ali Dargah every day to seek blessings and pray for their wishes to be fulfilled. The shrine is open to people of all religions and backgrounds, and it's believed that Haji Baba fulfills the wishes of his devotees. Many people find solace and peace in visiting the dargah, and it's said that no one leaves Haji Ali Dargah empty-handed. The scenic beauty of the Arabian Sea adds to the spiritual ambiance of the shrine, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a peaceful and divine experience."

Alhamdulillah, I don't think that this place needs any review of anybody because this place has huge fame from people of all religions. Haji Ali Dargah is very good but under construction, I hope within a year this is completed. I had visited four times and found a real peace over there but you always found huge crowds over there as it's very famous with their real stories that the makbara is situated at the middle surface area of the ocean. Moreover, this place has different positive energy which heals you and gives you a nice experience. I'm always looking forward to visiting this place as much as I can.

Pizza By The Bay is a stylish and sophisticated restaurant with an art deco design and stunning views of the Arabian Sea. It has been a constant presence in Mumbai's ever-changing cafe scene, offering elevated pizzas and sandwiches that have made it a favorite among locals. Situated in the posh area of South Mumbai, this iconic eatery offers not only delicious pizzas like the Mumbai Masala Pizza but also an impressive breakfast menu.
I visited **Pizza by the Bay, Marine Drive**, and the experience was worth it. The location itself is unbeatable – right opposite Marine Drive, with a perfect view of the sea that makes dining even more special. I tried their **half-and-half veg pizza**, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The base was thin, crisp, and baked just right – not chewy or soggy. On one half, I went for the **classic veg toppings** (tomatoes, capsicum, onions, and olives), which had a fresh and vibrant flavor. The other half was **loaded with gourmet toppings**, with a rich cheesy layer, mushrooms, and bell peppers that gave a nice savory balance. What stood out was the **quality of the cheese** – creamy, stretchy, and not too oily – and the **balance of spices and herbs**, which kept it flavorful without overpowering the freshness of the vegetables. Portion size is good enough to share if you’re not a heavy eater. The **ambience** is calm and elegant with the sea breeze adding charm. Service was decent and staff courteous, though the place can get busy, especially in the evenings. Pricing is slightly on the higher side, but the taste, quality, and overall experience justify it. ✅ **Highlights**: * Great sea-facing view * Perfectly baked thin crust * Fresh veggies & quality cheese * Half-and-half option gives a variety in one pizza ⚠️ **Minor Cons**: * Slightly pricey * Gets crowded during peak hours

It indeed was compelling to visit this place. The place is popular in the area and is besides the Marine Drive. It overseas the beauty of the sea provided you get a proper seating place near the window. The place is fabulous and has its own vibes. Beware the place gets really crowded and waiting times sore. We had to wait for more than 45 minutes. We were determined and finally got the special seat near the window. The service is great and the staff helps you through the menu. It is quick and the staff always keeps watch on your demand. Food is what the discussion should be. We ordered Bombay Masala Pizza, Garlic Bread with cheese and Mac and Cheese Pasta. The preparation is great and taste amazing. If you crave for Pizza, Pasta and the likes, you should visit the place. It leaves some great memories minus the waiting time.

Kids like the Chicken Tikka sandwich and don’t forget to order their smoked Chicken sandwich with poached eggs if you like chicken and eggs, it was just amazing.
Vaibhav K — Google review
One of the best pizza places in Mumbai! The pizzas are perfectly baked with rich, bold flavors, and the other dishes are just as impressive. The antique-style decor gives the place a charming, nostalgic vibe, and you can feel the history in every corner. It’s a classic spot with great food, great service, and a timeless atmosphere. A must-visit!
Afif C — Google review
Visited Pizza by the Bay recently, and while the experience had its highs and lows, it left a lasting impression. The food was undoubtedly good—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. Whether you're going for their signature pizzas or exploring other menu items, the quality is consistent. However, the pricing felt a bit steep, especially when compared to portion sizes. One major downside was the noise level. The place was too loud for a relaxed dining experience, so if you're looking for a quiet meal or a heart-to-heart, this might not be the ideal spot. That said, being a weekday, we didn’t have to wait long, which was a pleasant surprise. And what truly stood out was the monsoon vibe—sitting by the sea, watching the waves with the rain in the backdrop made for a magical Mumbai moment.
Gitesh M — Google review
Pizza By The Bay offers a sophisticated ambiance with sea views, perfect for professional meetings. Known for Italian cuisine, pizzas, and desserts, it’s charming yet slightly overrated for its premium pricing. Best for refined dining with a scenic backdrop.
Disha S — Google review
Not a great experience. Found 2 hairs in my food and staff wasn't really willing to do anything. Found them towards the end of my meal (deep in the meal and definitely not mine!) and they said I should've told them earlier. I find it very unprofessional to not offer any sort of compensation for this. Atmosphere and taste of the food in general was ok. Food is definitely overpriced for Mumbai. Won't go here again.
Martin R — Google review
1. The quality of pizza today was down. 2. Today on account of my birthday I visited here, but the taste was literally so bad. 3. Firstly they added services charges/ tax of Rs 199 but the service was not valuable and my question is why you need this charge? 4. I asked them to remove this charges then they added Rs 5 as a donation amount. There is no issue with the amount but such activity displays the restaurant value. 5. I recommend from now to all the pizza fan , If you are new , try with starter and then proceed further. 6. The quality of pizza earlier was so tasty , so excellent but today it was disappointed.

Girgaon Chowpatty is a no-frills beach in Mumbai where locals gather to immerse Lord Ganesh idols during the Ganesh Visarjan festival. It's renowned for its delectable street food, offering iconic dishes like Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri, and Bhelpuri. The beach is a popular spot for enjoying the crashing waves and indulging in mouth-watering snacks from food stalls.
Girgaon Chowpatty is a lively Mumbai beach famous for sunsets, street food like bhel puri and pav bhaji, and festive vibes during Ganesh Visarjan. It's not ideal for swimming due to pollution, but perfect for evening strolls and local flavor.

Best for evening time. But sea water is too dirty.. Need to maintain beach well. Here best food stalls and icecream stalls are available.
Vikrant C — Google review
Girgaon Chowpatty is located where the marine drive ends. While entering we shall find various vendors selling snacks on the left side while the sea is good 100 meters away from the enterance. It is good for strolling and walking. The beach is not ideal for swimming but one can sit here to step away from hustle and bustle of adjoining areas. Ideally you can spend good time here.
Kshitij S — Google review
Girgaon Chowpatty isn't just a place on a map; for anyone who has grown up in Mumbai, it's a living, breathing chapter of their life story. As the sun began to set, casting a warm, orange glow over the city skyline, the magic of Chowpatty truly revealed itself. The distant, glittering arc of Marine Drive began to twinkle, earning its name, "The Queen's Necklace." Families sat on mats, couples strolled along the water's edge, and children built sandcastles, their silhouettes dark against the vibrant sky. This beach has seen the city grow and change, yet it remains a steadfast anchor of simple, unadulterated joy. It's not the cleanest or the most pristine beach, but it has a soul. It’s where you don’t just eat food, you create memories. A visit here is a reminder that some of the best things in life are indeed simple: a sunset, a good plate of bhel puri, and the sound of laughter by the sea. A timeless Mumbai icon.

Visited this restaurant recently on our trip to Mumbai. I visited after a very long time and was not disappointed! The food is delicious; the best Chinese food in Mumbai by far! The ambience is wonderful and the service, superb! They went out of their way to make our special occasion, really special. Highly recommended.

We ordered asparagus and corn dumplings which were phenomenal! You can see the chef making them right in front of you, like a magician! The spring rolls were crispy, crunchy, had just the right amount of filling and the sweet chilli sauce was something I could eat a bucket of! The vegetarian fried rice with a non spicy black pepper sauce was the cherry on top :)

Great food, we ordered edamame truffle dumplings, Chung fa, crispy lamb which was sweet and you can give it a miss. Water chestnut dumpling which was the hero. Chicken black pepper which was good, burnt garlic fried rice and a chicken in black bean sauce. Overall good quality. Pricy yup but great taste. I paid 10k.

A lovely relaxed lunch at the Golden Dragon ! The service team lead by Rachit was excellent ! Personal attention to detail and great service ! Food quality and taste was superlative. Delicious food, exquisite service, the cutest thing was I saw a kitten mewing well fed right outside the entrance of Taj Mahal and no one chased it off, like any other hotel would. It was such a pleasant sight. Courtesy the Tata love for animals. Great experience.

Sorry to say but this is one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had, and I've eaten in plenty of Chinese restaurants. I thought that being in such a nice hotel, it's almost a shoe-in that it will be a nice restaurant, maybe even great. Oh boy, was I wrong. First clue that things will not go right were the noodles, that looked like thin spaghetti, nothing to do with asian noodles, and were quite bland. Then we ordered the sweet and sour pork and black pepper chicken, both smothered in sauce. I was so dissapointed in the food I had to say something and to the credit of the staff and the chef, he came to explain their meals are adjusted to the local market. So he made us the sweet and sour pork with less sauce. But this time a little spicy. :( anyway, not authentic at all and far, far too expensive for what it is. Sorry!!

This was a once in a lifetime experience and even though I had my fair share of experiences in 5 star hotels and didn't like the food but this place didn't disappoint .. Dashanzi is a vibrant Asian restaurant located in the bustling Lower Parel neighborhood, offering an array of expertly prepared Japanese cuisine. The modern decor, inspired by Japanese design, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners to enjoy while indulging in delicious dim sum, sushi rolls, and creative fusion dishes. This posh restaurant inside a waterfront hotel provides an elevated international dining experience with its sleek bar and delectable gourmet Chinese food.
Got the chance to dine-in here with spouse & friends. It’s an a la cart specialty restaurant. We were a group of 12. We got seated comfortably on their long dining table. We had vegetarians on onesie & the non-vegetarians opposite them. Both groups got great choices. I ordered king prawns in starters with fresh juice of beets, carrots & papaya. For main course it was a dish of lamb, another of chicken, Hakka noodles & rice. Ive forgotten the names of the dishes. The taste was superb, quantity was more than adequate and was served promptly & hot. Two guests joined us later and they were accommodated at our table. Definitely recommend.

I stayed at the hotel and was here for the first day of my honeymoon and it was the best introduction to Mumbai that I could have hoped for. This restaurant and the staff in particular made our day. Nikita and Eric behind the bar were the best hosts and really fun to talk to. I will be back when I can.

Absolutely loved my experience at Dashanzi! The ambiance is effortlessly chic — a perfect fusion of modern luxury and laid-back comfort, all enhanced by the mesmerizing sea view. The Asian cuisine is nothing short of exceptional — each dish is artfully plated and bursting with authentic, refined flavors. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the dim sums delicate and flavorful, and the robata grill items simply divine. The service was flawless — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout. Their signature cocktails are a highlight — bold, creative, and absolutely delicious. Dashanzi is not just a meal, it's an experience you won’t forget!

Great restaurant, and it’s clearly the “it” place to be; there were two movie stars there when I went, so that was a rare treat as well. The food was really nice; and got to try the award winning Indri whiskey - picking up a bottle or four of that one!

The food at Dashani Hotel is absolutely delicious! Every dish is freshly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The variety on the menu is impressive, and the quality of ingredients is top-notch. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was a treat. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food
Thamarai S — Google review
Went here with great expectations, ended up with reheated dumplings, sushi with cold rice, humid interiors, and staff that has no idea what each dish comprises of. This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my life, and that’s before the undeservedly hefty bill even arrived at the table. Being from Mumbai and having visited multiple restaurants at JW Marriott, this was a complete shock to us, the only saving grace was perhaps the view of the beach (though I think you’d get better views at Sun and Sand or Novotel). Please don’t go here if you want a good culinary experience, there are plenty of amazing restaurants in Mumbai and even within the Juhu area that deserve your attention a whole lot more.
Rishi D — Google review
Food tastes good but expensive for the quantity and quality. Sashimi seemed fresh and my friend liked it though I don't care much for raw fish. Loved the Prawn tempura but the California roll wasn't as good and certainly not worth the cost. Service was slow but polite staff. Best part is the view of the sea.

This high-end restaurant is renowned for its impeccable service and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes from Lebanese, Mediterranean, Turkish, and Middle Eastern cuisines, all made with the freshest local ingredients.
A heartfelt compliment to the chef for an extraordinary culinary experience! The dishes were nothing short of perfection, each one showcasing impeccable skill, creativity, and passion. The flavors were harmonious, the presentation was stunning, and the attention to detail was remarkable. It’s evident that the chef Anselem Fernandes pours their heart into every plate, creating not just meals but memories. Thank you for making the dining experience truly unforgettable—your talent is unmatched, and your dedication shines through in every bite!
JAI T — Google review
I had high expectations for my lunch at Souk, a Lebanese restaurant. The venue itself is pleasant and relaxing, but they should put in at least a minimal effort to keep the windows clean—especially since the view is their main attraction. The food was average, and serving soup in a coffee cup was certainly... an interesting choice. Perhaps they were already short on proper dishware, despite us being the first customers of the day. On the bright side, the service was good.

Dined at Souk recently and had a truly memorable experience. The hospitality was warm and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Souk @ The Taj Mahal Tower Hotel, top notch service, top notch ambience and top notch courtesy. That is Tata Service for you, anyone and everyone who meets you, greets you with a smile and is ready to help you and guide you. The restaurant, located on the top floor of the Taj Mahal Tower Hotel provides you the best view of the Apollo Bunder a.k.a. Gateway of India, the Arabian Sea and also the city. You just feel like being there forever. You are well received at the gate and service is fantastic. The smiles are galore and they guide you into the menu if it is your first time. The Middle Eastern / Mediterranean / Turkish food is excellent along with the list of liquor. Being a weekday, the restaurant was empty and we just walked in without reservation. Pritesh, who was assigned to look after us, did a marvellous job. Not only with food but he knew each and every place from where we could get good photos of us. He helped clicked a lot for us too. Looking forward to visiting the place again and enjoying a good time, the view and the food. Just for people to know, day time visits give you a good view of the surroundings.

The service at The Sook was pleasant and attentive, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. All of the courses were brought out at once, which really took away from the meal. The food itself was not good and definitely not worth the price. The atmosphere was okay, but nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend it based on my visit.

He even went a step further and helped us save our memories forever by capturing some truly amazing videos and pictures at the restaurant and its iconic location overlooking the Gateway of India. I recently visited this rocky beach, and I must say, it left quite an impression. The beach itself was clean, though it tends to get quite crowded on weekends and holidays. The entry is rather narrow, which can be a bit of a squeeze during peak times. As I walked along the shoreline, I couldn’t help but notice the stunning, high-profile bungalows dotting the area, adding a sense of luxury to the surroundings. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, whether you're with a companion or a group of friends. Watching the sunset here was truly mesmerizing and definitely worth experiencing.
Bryan D — Google review
I recently visited Madh Island for a photoshoot, and I want to share my honest experience for those planning to go, especially solo travelers or women. The place itself is quite scenic — the beach has a rustic charm with calm waves, open skies, and a natural, untouched vibe that works beautifully for photography and creative shoots. It’s peaceful and not overly commercialized, which makes it ideal for those looking for quiet spots. However, I personally didn’t find the environment very women-friendly. I reached around 8:30 AM on a weekday, and to my surprise, the beach area was almost completely deserted. There were barely a few people around, and most of them were locals sitting at a distance. While nothing directly unpleasant happened, I didn’t feel entirely comfortable being there alone. The area feels a bit isolated, and that can be unsettling, especially if you’re there with expensive camera gear or planning an early morning or evening shoot. If you plan to visit, I strongly recommend going with someone — a friend, photographer, or colleague — for both safety and company. The place has potential for great photos with its raw natural beauty, but the vibe can feel lonely and slightly unsafe when the crowd is sparse. In short, Madh Island is a good spot for photography, but not the best choice for solo female visitors. Go prepared, go early, and definitely go with company.

While traveling to Madh might require a bit of effort, the journey is more than worth it. Once you're here, you'll find yourself captivated by its tranquil environment and natural beauty, ensuring there's never a dull moment. The place was booked by my wife for my birthday dinner. Sea facing restaurant, though the sea can’t be appreciated at night time. Would have a beautiful view of the sea during daytime though. The service was good. Food was average. Nothing as a signature dish of Estella. Ambience was alright.

We visited during sunset it was good but many ppl block the view ppl should understand that and we ordered Thai curry which had peanuts in it , the taste was weird the server didn’t help us to change it , as we are fan of Thai curry it was disappointing and server kept telling this is how we make , prawns tempura good !

Megumi is located right on Juhu Main Road, so it’s quite easy to find. The restaurant has decent-sized seating and offers a lovely sea view, definitely the highlight of the place. It started raining when we visited, which made the view even better, though the restaurant was almost empty at the time. Food was just okay in terms of taste and quantity, but the pricing felt on the higher side for what was offered. Drinks were below average too. Hygiene could have been better, it was manageable but not up to the mark. The service was good, and the staff was attentive. The interiors are simple and decent, nothing very impressive. Parking can be figured out around the area. Overall, the sea view makes it worth a one-time visit, but the food, pricing, and hygiene didn’t really match expectations. Also, the veg options were quite limited, definitely something they could improve.

Some of the service were not good. Specially the lady near the hand wash (common hand wash for the restrooms), who was trying to teach me or tell me that taps are only for hand wash and not mouth with a frustrated and arrogant voice. After I left she whispered that i should have been using tissue to wash my mouth. Are you serious?😂😂

It was a weekend and I could only get a reservation that was 2hrs in advance. They have 2 different seating (one on the deck and the other is closed Seating). There was a cover charge (minimum spend) for the deck seating based on the fact that we were just 2 people. However, a few drinks and a full course meal would exceed the minimum spend amount. However, do note that the deck was a closed spaced, atleast at night when we visited it was closed. The food was excellent. 5 star for presentation, taste and service. Only the pork ribs were a disappointment for the amount of meat on the bone. The sushi and fish were excellent and recommended to try. The mock tail was also very good. I recommend this place for foodies and people who want to dine early with a view.

I didn't felt welcome at all, first even after having the tables available they didn't confirm our table. Secondary they added the service charges 2tines in my invoice, even after asking they didn't remove it.

Koishii is a popular restaurant in Mumbai known for its Nikkei cuisine and breathtaking views of the Mahalaxmi racecourse and city skyline from the 37th floor of The St. Regis Mumbai. It also houses Koi Bar, offering Pisco cocktails and bar nibbles in a chic living room ambiance.
Their food and drinks were exceptional, and the hospitality and kindness of the staff truly stood out. The bar is phenomenal, capable of crafting any drink you desire. It’s an ideal spot for sushi and a perfect choice for a night out with friends. Be sure to try the chicken Karaage! They even offer off-menu drinks, which is a thoughtful touch. This place definitely lives up to the St. Regis standard of excellence found in their restaurants worldwide.

Had a very luxurious dinner at this restaurant. We had wanted a quiet place and they were able to accomodate our request in their private dining space. Our server Rohan was brilliant with good recommendations and a very pleasant demeanor. Of the things we tried their cevice, yuzu truffle tiradito and grilled black cod were truly exceptional. Had a bit of an issue with the pork belly which was not very fresh, but nothing of major concern. Overall a great experience, all be it on the pricier side. Would recommend the place.

We visited Koishi to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience! The restaurant serves unique Nikkei cuisine, a beautiful fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors that felt fresh, creative, and perfectly balanced. Every dish was presented with care and tasted amazing. The team at Koishi went above and beyond - they were warm, attentive, and even surprised my husband with a special dessert to celebrate his birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening truly memorable. The atmosphere was super elegant yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a celebration or a nice night out. Highly recommend Koishi for anyone looking for excellent food, great service, and a special dining experience! Also pls book this place in advance..

Dinnner at Koishii is a must and I mean 100% not to be missed if you are in Mumbai. My friend and I had the most amazing experience. The food was spot on and delicious as that’s why we visit restaurants. And they don’t just excel at food, their staff are welcoming and every dish is presented in such a beautiful way. This is one restaurant where the looks match the taste. Every bite was delectable. They do serve the best Chicken Kara-age I have ever had! Cocktails were just as we had wanted them as I don’t take sugar syrup in mine. A perfect place to dine with your loved ones.

The elegance of the decor provides an enchanting experience tor he eye. As one settle down and order food the feeling of dining in the sky comes alive. As we sipped in our drinks and waited for the food to arrive it was quite easy to converse due to the low volume of the music. Thus a great place to go on a date. The quality of food and the presentation was outstanding. The host was extremely helpful and helped in whatever mean possible. A class restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Must try out !

Very good ambiance , vibe , techno african dj music . Had a lovely dinner with various cocktails Only the lamb leg piece served was very salty and we have to send it back as it wasn’t eatable . Al though our server Nilesh didn’t put it in our bills and the way he and other staff accepted the issue was also pleasant experience!!! I will visit this place more often for sure and it’s highly recommend!!

What a hidden little experience! It is rare to find restaurants that justify the price tag, and this is therefore a rare find. The food tastes as delicious as it looks. We tried the chicken karage, along with two plates of sushi. All the food tasted very fresh and light. The ambience and service made the dinner a memorable one. We concluded with the spicy chocolate fondant, and the flavours were perfectly balanced with dark chocolate. The raspberry icecream accompanied with it was as yummy as it can get. Do not miss out on this restaurant.

Monument
The Gateway of India stands as a prominent monument in Mumbai, built to honor the visit of King George V and Queen Mary. This iconic structure symbolizes the British colonial era and holds historical significance as it was the departure point for the final British troops after India gained independence. Designed by Scottish architect George Wittet, its Indo-Saracenic style reflects a blend of Indo-Islamic, Indian, and Roman architectural influences.
Evergreen place to see the most famous tourist spot in Mumbai. Avoid holidays and peak hours if you want to avoid rush. Maintenance work is going on presently and might not be able to move around the monument easily.

The Gateway of India is truly one of the most iconic landmarks not only of Mumbai but of all of India. Standing in front of it feels like you are standing in the middle of history, culture, and the spirit of Mumbai itself. The architecture is stunning—an incredible Indo-Saracenic style that looks majestic when you see it up close. No matter how many photos you’ve seen before visiting, nothing compares to the real-life experience of standing right there, with the Arabian Sea on one side and the bustling energy of Mumbai on the other. I visited in the evening, and the entire atmosphere was magical. The lights around the Gateway highlight its structure beautifully, and the cool sea breeze adds to the charm. It’s also right next to the legendary Taj Mahal Palace, which makes the whole location even more breathtaking. Watching the crowd—locals, tourists, photographers, vendors, and families—gave me a glimpse of the true diversity and vibrancy of Mumbai. What I loved most was how the Gateway isn’t just a monument, but a meeting place where life happens. You see people enjoying street food, buying souvenirs, taking ferry rides, and simply sitting around enjoying the view. The ferries that leave from here to Elephanta Caves add a unique touch—it feels like a gateway in both a historical and literal sense. It does get crowded, but that’s part of its charm. The energy of the crowd, mixed with the serenity of the sea and the majesty of the monument, creates a balance that makes the experience unforgettable. The best times to visit, in my opinion, are either early morning when the place is quiet and peaceful, or evening when the lights come on and the atmosphere feels alive. Standing there, you can almost imagine the moment in 1911 when King George V and Queen Mary arrived through this gateway, and at the same time, you see today’s Mumbai—a modern city that never stops moving. It’s a blend of past and present that makes the Gateway of India so special. If you’re in Mumbai, you simply cannot miss this landmark. It’s not just a photo spot, it’s an experience of history, culture, and the beating heart of the city.

Growing up in Bombay- I frequented this place and it's got a special place in my heart- not to mention we share a birthday. This is an iconic structure that has not changed. Now visiting it as a tourist from overseas, it still captires the charm and innocence as I see families, children and young couples take selfies, chaiwallahs selling hot sweet tea and instant photographers offering the ultimate background of the Taj hotel or the gateway. Do partake of the boat ride- the diesel run bimoy ride will take out out a kilometre and back a hundred years. And the pigeons- every Victorian building attracts pigeons. Best tiem to visit is at sunrise when the city is still asleep.

As a first-time visitor to Mumbai, seeing the Gateway of India was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The moment I arrived, I was awestruck by the grandeur of this iconic monument. The structure itself, with its impressive Indo-Saracenic architecture, stands tall and majestic, overlooking the Arabian Sea. It feels like stepping into a piece of history — you can almost imagine the days when important dignitaries arrived here during the British era. What truly made the experience special was the breathtaking view. Facing the open sea, with the cool breeze on your face and the sound of the waves in the background, the entire scene feels both peaceful and inspiring. The area is lively yet not overwhelming — people are enjoying the view, clicking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere. Right across from the Gateway stands the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which adds to the charm of the place. The view of this grand hotel alongside the Gateway is picture-perfect, especially as the sun starts to set and the lights slowly illuminate the surroundings. Everything about my visit felt just right — the clean promenade, the vibrant energy of visitors, and the rich history all around. It’s a spot where you can pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the beauty and spirit of Mumbai. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city for the first time.

The island itself is peaceful, with lush greenery and beautiful views of the Arabian Sea, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing day away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The Elephanta Caves were a great experience, other than the ferry cost, the fee to enter the caves is pretty nominal. The caves have beautifully sculpted stone structures, and they are well maintained. Nice place to visit. Also there is a small trek to different Canon points which give a good view of the Sea.
Vitthal K — Google review
I recently visited the Elephanta Caves, and it was a great experience. First, we took a ferry from the Gateway of India, which cost ₹290 per person (both ways). The ferry ride was quite scenic and peaceful, taking around 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Elephanta Island. 😀 Once there, you’ll find small shops selling snacks, water, and souvenirs. But a word of caution—beware of monkeys! They are quite mischievous and can snatch food if you're eating in front of them. 🙈🙉🙊 The caves themselves are stunning, especially the massive rock-cut sculptures of Lord Shiva. The most famous one, the Trimurti, is truly mesmerizing. The place has a deep spiritual vibe, and the architecture speaks volumes about ancient craftsmanship. 🏛️ Apart from the caves, don’t miss the old cannon located on top of the hill. It’s a bit of a climb, but totally worth it. The cannon is a historical relic from the colonial era, and the view from the top is amazing! Overall, it was a wonderful trip, perfect for history lovers and devotees alike. If you visit, make sure to explore both the caves and the cannon. Highly recommended! Har Har Mahadev! 🙏

Reaching the island itself feels like a mini adventure with a ferry ride offering stunning sea views The rock cut sculptures, especially the massive trimurti, are mesmerizing. it's amazing how these caves were carved out of solid basalt centuries ago the detailing on the sculptures is breathtaking, but some areas are a bit worn out due to age. the walk from the jetty to the caves is steep, but the history and artistry make it worth the effort it's incredible to think that these carvings have survived for over a thousand years, telling stories of gods and legends

Definitely an adventure worth doing. Cost. Tickets to the island are 290 rupees per person. YOU NEED CASH. Exact cash at that. There is also a 5 rupee gate once on the island. Have cash for that as well. There is a 600 rupee fee for foreigners at the top of the stairs to get into the caves. Time. Get to the Gateway and behind it is the loading area for the boats. You can buy with cash. It is a 2 part red ticket. The boat ride takes an hour. Then you have about 20 or 30 minutes to walk to the stairs then up. You can also take train from the boats which is recommended for people who can't or shouldn't go up 200 stairs. They have chairs to carry you up the stairs. Feel like a king and be carried for 10 rupees a person(4 people to carry you). Train costs about 20.

Elephanta Caves is a must-visit for anyone interested in ancient Indian architecture and mythology. The rock-cut caves, especially the main Shiva cave with the massive Trimurti sculpture, are absolutely awe-inspiring. You can really feel the spiritual and historical significance of the place.

It is a beautiful place. To get there, you have to take a local boat. The price for foreigners is 290 rupees. The entry fee for Indians is 40 rupees and for foreigners 600 rupees. Dadar Chowpatty, also known as Dadar Beach, is a versatile destination just a short drive from the city center of Mumbai. It offers opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea. The beach is surrounded by cultural landmarks such as the Dadar Parsi Colony and Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple.
Dadar Chowpatty is a popular beachside spot in Mumbai perfect for families and friends to unwind and enjoy the sunset. It’s an ideal place for a peaceful evening, where you can spend quality time, click photos and soak in the view. The beach also has many stalls serving pav bhaji, bhelpuri, and gola.

Dadar Chowpatty – Quick Review (in Simple Words): How to Reach: Just 10 minutes walk from Dadar railway station (west side). Main Attractions: • Sea view with a breeze and open sky • Chaitya Bhoomi – Memorial of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar - The chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice and equality. • Narali Baug – A small garden nearby • Wooden deck – Built in 2019, great for sea views and photos • View of Worli Sea Link – Looks beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset Things to Know: • Beach has become very small due to construction work • Not very clean – not suitable for kids to play • Better beach options: Girgauv Chowpatty or Juhu Beach for cleaner and bigger areas • Beware: Horses often run along the beach area — stay alert, especially with kids or elderly.
Bhushan B — Google review
Dadar Chowpatty, located along the scenic coastline of Mumbai, is a vibrant spot that perfectly blends local culture, street food, and a refreshing seaside atmosphere. Unlike the more tourist-heavy Girgaon Chowpatty, Dadar offers a calmer, more community-oriented vibe. The stretch is especially beautiful during sunset, with the Arabian Sea’s golden hues meeting the skyline and the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link visible in the distance. The beach isn’t just for strolling—it’s a hub for fitness enthusiasts, joggers, and families enjoying an evening out. Vendors line the promenade selling classic Mumbai snacks like bhel puri, pav bhaji, and roasted corn, adding to the charm. On weekends, you’ll often find street performers, kids playing cricket, and couples enjoying the cool breeze. While the water isn’t ideal for swimming due to cleanliness concerns, the overall experience is more about the lively environment and the scenic views. Early mornings here are peaceful, perfect for photography or a quiet walk, whereas evenings are bustling with energy. Dadar Chowpatty might not be the most glamorous beach in Mumbai, but it offers an authentic, everyday slice of the city’s coastal life—making it a must-visit for anyone who wants to see Mumbai beyond the tourist lens.
Avdesh R — Google review
Dadar Chowpatty is one of the well-known spots in Mumbai for a quick seaside visit. Location-wise, it’s quite easy to reach, whether you’re coming from the railway station or by car. It’s right in the heart of the city, making it a convenient place for locals to take a short evening break or enjoy the sunset after a long day. The view of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link from here is beautiful and probably the best part about this beach. Watching the bridge light up in the evening while waves hit the shore gives a nice relaxing vibe. However, the biggest downside of Dadar Chowpatty is its cleanliness. The beach is not well-maintained, and you can see a lot of litter and waste along the shore. The water too looks quite dirty, which takes away from the overall charm of the place. It’s not a beach where you’d want to sit for long or play around with kids. The authorities really need to focus on cleaning and maintaining it better. Despite that, people still visit for the view, the breeze, and the typical Mumbai street food stalls nearby. It’s okay for a short visit or an evening walk, but not somewhere you’d call peaceful or clean. Overall, Dadar Chowpatty is an average spot—great for the view, but disappointing in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.

I went to Mumbai from Jaipur by a Indigo flight..take a car taxi and reached Hotel at nepon sea area. Second day caught a bus and reached Gate way of India..to visit the Elephanta Island but first I took a double horse riding Victoria Cart alo..great enthusiastic surprise.Where ride in a small ship in high season and reached to island...rid in a toy train to reach the tourist site of Elephanta.climbed some 200 stairs and reached in the spot. Great means of transportation I used ,so exited. Site was crowded, great ancient caves, wall carving painting, looking as historical place. Well behaved staff, good crowd management.. Visitors eating, drinking and enjoying with families. Throwing back residue of their edibles, garbage disposal every where.. very painful..no civics sens. Place was beautiful. Food items available at reasonable prices.

This place was awful. I was hassled and harassed NON STOP for not wanting a guide. I just wanted to listen to music and walk alone after having a horrible day. But no, everybody would simply not leave me alone. The island is perfectly fine to visit without a guide, there are signs you can read. Do not let anyone bully you. Was attacked by a monkey. So many monkeys. They are scary and will bite you if you have food. Also the entry price for foreigners is literally 10x the price for locals. Also the official security guards would be nice and ask if you wanted them to take a picture, but then they would take like 100 pics even though you tell them to stop, then they ask for money. Also everyone wanted a selfie with me. Very aggressive behaviour. I'm sure the statues and history were very cool but I was not given any peace whatsoever to take it in or reflect on it. Just hassle from beginning till end.

Also known as the Gharapuri Caves, the Elephanta Caves are a remarkable historical site situated near Mumbai, India. Constructed between the 5th and 6th centuries AD and discovered by a Portuguese sailor in 1534, these caves were once used as a defense point, watchtower, and practice range by Portuguese. Hidden Gems at Elephanta Caves Among the lesser-known features of Elephanta Island are two giant cannons situated at the top of a mountain. These cannons, capable of rotating 360°, were brought by the Portuguese. Below it, you'll find large underground bunkers and storage rooms once used for machinery and ammunition. The abandoned state of these structures invites deep reflection on their historical significance and past use. The caves are dedicated to Lord Shiva and feature intricate stone carvings depicting various gods. Accessible by ferry boats costing around ₹300 per person, the journey itself provides beautiful views of the Arabian Sea. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a well-maintained site filled with captivating structures and carvings that showcase the rich history and craftsmanship of the era. The island also has small restaurants and shops, providing convenient options for food and souvenirs. Visiting the Elephanta Caves is a must for history enthusiasts and anyone looking to experience the marvels of ancient India. The impressive carvings and the island's historical significance will leave you amazed and intrigued.

Short trip from gateway of India in Mumbai, this place has amazing sculptures/carvings in caves. Definitely worth seeing the history. However some of the security guards do look to make some side money in addition to the entrance fee, therefore you should watch out for them approaching you with offers of pictures/information about the place.

World Heritage site is must visit! It's beautiful, well maintained and insightful destination. I visited in the month of November . Good place with a lot of historical architectures to explore. the paid boats near to Gate way of India can take you to Elephanta caves island. The charges could be from ₹200-250. The last boats starts at 2.00 PM to the island and from there last boat back is at 5.30PM. you could enjoy more if you leave in the morning until 4-5 PM. The boat ride was wonderful. They allowed top deck seats with additional charges of ₹10 inside the boat. At the island the weather is cooler compared to the hot Mumbai City. The caves are good, but you need to have guid for the detailed and informative tour. The monkeys could trouble you if you are carring any good items in hand. You can buy some showcase items from here for your home. Also the shop owners on the Island are very polite and never force you to buy anything. Other than that you can have almost any type of food with reasonable price. Go and enjoy 😊

Beach
Rock Beach, also known as Versova Rock Beach, is a hidden gem located in the suburb Andheri. It stretches 2.7 km and is an extension of Juhu beach but remains less populated, making it a peaceful escape. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking sunsets and scenic beauty while sitting on the rocks or taking a leisurely walk along the shore. The beach offers a clean and serene environment for families to enjoy various activities like water sports, horse riding, and dirt bike rides.
Nice beach , cool breeze at sunset and lot of food options available. Momos are great at suraj Lama momos . Must visit at sunset
Shekhar G — Google review
As a total beach person, Rock Beach in Versova is one of my favorite spots in all of Mumbai. This city is always buzzing, crowded, and full of chaos — but if you’re looking for a place to breathe, relax, and disconnect, this beach is a hidden gem. The best time to visit is during the evening golden hour. That soft sunlight, the ocean breeze, and the peaceful sound of waves create a kind of calm that’s rare in a city like Mumbai. Just sit on the rocks or on the sand, feel the sea breeze on your face, close your eyes, and listen to the ocean — it’s pure therapy. Of course, like any public spot in Mumbai, sometimes it gets crowded — that’s just your luck. But even then, the vibe is still chill and calming if you find a quiet corner. No matter how many people are around, there’s something deeply peaceful about this place. If you’re someone who loves the sea and craves a little escape from city madness, Rock Beach, Versova is the place to go. Just go, sit, and feel…

Good location but was so dirty when I visited. There were some flowers everywhere, which people would have submerged into the sea as part of some religious offering. Otherwise a good peaceful location in a good locality.

Beautiful Beach.. Mumbai visitor may visit this beach. Evening time is best for visit. Noise of water and wave really refreshing the mind , able to sea the sunset beauty from this beach, hourse riding is available on this Beach.... Best for family, kids.

This beach, just north of the Versova beach, is one of the very few sea shores in the ciry worth visiting. Its extreme clean, peaceful and quiet, nice to go and sit for a while, and make a sand castle. Both water and sand are clean, very few food stalls. The Versova beach, few hundred meters to the south is nowhere as clean and good.

Clean beach located in Versova. There is no place like BEACH, where the LAND meets the SEA and sea meets the SKY. 🌊🌊🌊🏝🏝🏖⛱

Located on the 8th floor of a boutique hotel, Dome offers an open-air terrace with a central architectural feature - the striking dome that stands out against Marine Drive. The venue exudes old-world romance and offers prime seafront views, along with a menu featuring South American-inspired tapas and tequila-based cocktails. It's a popular spot for sipping cocktails while enjoying panoramic views of Marine Drive's Queens Necklace. The venue also features a pool, making it a favorite for young couples.
Views are breathtaking, and if you're early and fortunate enough to find the corner tables where you can look at the sea directly, then you're sorted for the night. Staff at this place were very warm and greeted with smile. Reason for visiting here was good views and hence food was just secondary. However, I found the food better than most of reviews mentioned here. Chicken baos and Chicken flatbread were super and recommended. Prices as expected are on higher side but they do run some offers across different food platforms, so do check that out. Overall had a great experience and time here. Cheers!

A good rooftop bar located on level 8 of this hotel. The views around the sunset is simply brilliant. This rooftop terrace bar also has an indoor air conditioned seating as well. Recommended…!

Visited Dome at Marine Drive, on the rooftop of Intercontinental Hotel, and had a great time. The night view of Marine Drive from the rooftop was so amazing that we ended up spending over 3 hours without even realizing it. The ambience was perfect, my friends really enjoyed the drinks, and I liked the veg starter options. Good food, great vibe, definitely worth a visit!

Amazing place to be at during sunset!! Perfect to watch a sundowner with your partner or friends. I went there during the coldplay concert dates and they had 3k entry per person (included full cover though) my cocktail was nice, tried the classic Lit…service was nice and yes every penny was worth it! You get to see a beautiful sunset and the entire queens necklace, beautiful view of Bombay skyline. Ordered a basket of fries, quantity was great & a mezze platter, must try! The dips were amazing, especially the walnut dip. Great place… gonna give it a solid 9/10

North Indian restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Indian restaurant
Kebab Korner is a renowned restaurant located in Mumbai, India, known for its traditional northern Indian cuisine and elegant dining room adorned with artistic motifs. Since 1971, it has been a beloved establishment offering excellent quality food and service. Recently revamped, the restaurant features comfortable armchairs and ornate decorated windows reminiscent of intricate lattice work, creating a regal ambiance.
We visited Kebab Korner in intercontinental located at marine drive, a legacy restaurant started since 1980! The place gives a very royal vibe with traditional old fixtures and They are currently running a new menu - Kebab E Dastarkhwan which lets you savor authentic cuisine prepared with the finest touch. We loved the new menu which was decently priced at 2499 plus Taxes per person You can chose any 3 items (Veg / Non Veg) can order the same multiple times. Choices Include the below : Veg : Chowk Ki Tikki / Kumbh ki Galawat / Paratwala Paneer / Triveni Tandoor Phool / Butte ki Seekh Non Veg : Murgh ke Parche / Murgh Kalmi Kebab / Mutton Shami Kebab / Angara Fish Tikka / Nawabi Jalpari My recommendation from the above : Paratwala Paneer / Angara Fish Tikka / Nawabi Jalpari – Absolutely loves these 3 dishes! This is followed by a selection of Biriyani, Kulcha, Dal Makhani & Desserts KK Signature Dal Makhani here is not to be missed & the desserts are truly shahi! A special mention to Mughlai Gosht Biriyani as well Desserts included all my favorite – Shahi Tukda, Strawberry Phirni & Baked Kala Jamun Shootout to Mr. Jaspal Singh for his warm hospitality & Chef Lalit for the impeccable food 😋 A true royal dining experience at Kebab Korner located inside intercontinental at Marine drive! We can't wait to visit again for a marvelous dining experience 👌

Apart from amazing view, this place has some astounding authentic north Indian food. The staff is affable. I loved the food here. Very tasty and fresh. This place is located on 1st floor at intercontinental, Marine drive. They have lots of variety for kebab and north Indian food. The place is well maintained and neat. Ambience is royal. The best part is you get amazing Sea view while eating. Food we called for was:- Veg kebab platter (5/5)- This platter included broccoli marinated in mustard sauce, paneer Khali aaloo, veg seekh, jaitui paneer. We loved this one. Daal makhani (5/5)- Amazingly cooked. A must order dish here. Chole Amritsari(5/5)- We loved the chole. Lacha chur(55/)- it's crushed paratha with red chilli as garnishment. Oreo Tart (5/5)- okay.so this dessert isn't there in menu but the chef specially made this yummy dish for us.Thank you chef for this. Strawberry mojito (5/5)- A very lovely and refreshing drink. I loved it. We had a lovely time dining at this wonderful place. This place is child friendly and perfect for family get togethers. Valet is available.

The manager Mr Adil was extremely arrogant and throwing attitude. When one is paying five star rates, the least they expect is a decent courteous behaviour. He needs to learn mannerism and then get into hospitality industry. Better to go elsewhere for five star experience.

Kebab Korner is a restaurant with beautiful blue and white interiors along with artistic chairs which gives it a very royal look. To top it all this place has an amazing view of Mumbai’s Queen’s Necklace. It looks stunning, especially during the Monsoon Season. The Cuisine here is Indian and they specialize in Kebabs and North Indian Curries. I have tried a lot of Vegetarian dishes here, which is mentioned in detail below. Truffled Mushroom Baby Kulcha Small Soft Kulchas Stuffed with a Mushroom Paste. It comes straight out of the tandoor to your plate! It was very soft when I tried it and it had a very mild flavor from the Mushrooms. However, I couldn't taste truffle anywhere, I was expecting the use of some truffle oil at least. Chili Cheese Baby Kulcha Another version of Soft Kulchas Stuffed with Cheese and lots of Red Chili Powder, I could taste a lot of cheese and the spice from the Red Chili was also not overpowering. I would prefer this over the Mushroom kulcha even though I LOVE Mushrooms. Jaituni Paneer Tikka Giant Cubes of Paneer Marinated in Tandoori Marinate and it was sliced from between to stuff in some Olives. That gave it a tangy flavor and it was an amazing way of serving the Paneer Tikka. The only thing I didn't like is the quantity of Olives was very less and I could hardly taste any Olives. Kumbh Dak Banglow Button Mushrooms marinated in a Mustard Paste and cooked inside the tandoor until they become soft. Daal Makhani A bowl full of richness, it was exactly what you expect from a Daal Makhani. Melt in mouth Daal in tonne loads of Butter & Cream with superb flavors coming from spices like Clove, Cumin and Cardamom. Lehsooni Palak A very creamy concoction of Spinach and Fried Garlic, this was hands down the best dish which I had here. It is a must try if you love Spinach. The service here was very quick and the staff had total knowledge about the Menu. Overall this place was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to someone who loves to have North Indian Food.

InterContinental - the iconic Hotel located at Marine Drive is home to Kebab Korner. Kebab Korner is an ultra luxurious fine dine place with breathtaking bayview and serves authentic Indian cuisine along with some fusion dishes / desserts as well. Kebab Korner is located on Level 1 alongside Long & Short, which is a lounge which serves European cuisine. Kebab Korner has recently introduced Thalis - which is a lavish 3 course Indian meal including appetizers, main course and desserts. They offer Express Lunch Thali which caters to corporate as well and is priced at INR 1800 excluding wine. For dinner they offer "Experience Thali" which is an easy going complete meal, where you can take your time and enjoy scrumptious meal. This is priced at INR 2400. Heading straight to what was on offer for Experience Thali - Veg To begin with we were presented with a palate cleanser - Amuse Bouche. Crispy and Spiced Masala Chana Dal packed in edible plastic. I was intrigued about the ingredients used and technique to make this, but it stays as a secret with the restaurant and chef. Very unique and impressed I must say! We started with Appetizers and were served three of them - Jaipuri Paneer Tikka, Bhune Subz Ki Shami and Sarson Brocolli Tandoori. Paneer Tikka was smoked cottage cheese marinated with olives. The olives gave it a bitter taste for me and I personally love the smokey effect given to cottage cheese. However in this process the cottage cheese might have become a little hard. Something, which can be looked into. Next we had the Bhune Subz Ki Shami - Round shaped Patties / Tikkis with peas and spiced beans as filling, fried to perfection. Highly recommended to try! After this, we tried the Sarson Broccoli Tandoori - marinated with mustard and grilled to perfection! Loved it! Must try! Before heading into the mains, we were served another palate cleanser - this time around it was Mango & Lemon Sorbet served in a cutting chai glass. Loved the combination and was very refreshing. Again very unique! And now coming to the Star Veg Thali at Kebeb Korner - 5 Vegetables and 1 Dal with Assorted Indian Breads along with choice of steamed rice / Khichdi. The thali was presented in a beautiful way. They have a shiny steel arc where all the individual bowls are placed. So all of these 6 bowls along with a bowl of salad is placed in front of you at one go, unlike other thali places where different people serve you continuously which can be irritating at times. The best part here at Kebab Korner is that you get a thali experience without any hassles. Coming to the 5 vegetables - Bhuna Gobi Masala, Paneer Butter Masala, Subz Miloni, Lehsooni Palak and Beawar Bhindi. Amongst the five my preference would be Beawar Bhindi, Bhuna Gobi Masala and Paneer Butter Masala. Crisp Bhindi (lady fingers) with perfect potli masalas and cherry tomato. Personally I am not a fan of Bhindi, but with the way it was made and tasted, loved it. Bhuna Gobi Masala, chopped cauliflower tossed with Indian spices and Paneer Butter Masala -creamy cottage cheese in a rich onion and tomato gravy, both came a close second for me. Dal in the thali was Kebab Korner Signature Dal Makhani. Creamy Black Lentils Dal to be enjoyed with Indian Assorted breads as well as with Steam rice. Tasted real nice. I also tried the Khichdi, could be a good light option after heavy meal. Finally moving to the desserts, we had the Gulab Jamun and Gulkand Pannacotta - a fantastic fusion of Indian and Italian desserts! Sweet thickened cream topped with Gulkand and Gulkand! Loved the dessert, must try and highly recommended! And towards the end we were presented with a platter of paan - Meetha (Sweet) and Saada (Plain). Couldnt have asked for more! Overall, if I need to define my experience at Kebab Korner in one word, it will be awestruck! Beautiful setting, lip smacking food, fantastic service, soothing music, one of the most memorable experiences I have had!

One of the oldest and best Brand who started the Tradition of Kebabs and Mumbai and has been winning hearts of many Mumbaikars like us . This restaurant is a Clearly one of the most coruscating jewel of the Queen's Necklace Marine Drive. The Ambience is kept Classy and some of the tables provide the best view of Queens Necklace which adds to the experience and takes it to a level up. We were here to savor the Hyderabadi Delicacies as they have an on going Hyderabad Food Festival which will be open for all till 16th December 2018 . Dakhni Paneer Tikka : Paneer Slices with olives in between giving a sour tinge along with the spicy marinated paneer. Chirongi Hare Mutter ki Seekh : Mutter smashed and mixed with amazing mix of spices . The kebabs were succulent and went well with the chatni and dahi served along side . Their dahi has a wholesome mix of 36 spices which indeed was very fascinating to try . Subz Nizami Handi : Mix of crunchy veggies in a rich gravy. Went well with soft roomali Roti . Baghecha Subzaar : Seasonal vegetables mashed and mixed in Hyderabadi Style & topped with fried golden brown onions . Went well with Hyderabadi Khameeri Roti . Mirchi ka Salan : This one was the star dish of the Eve . Chef Raees has really poured is heart and Tallent to make this delicacy . It is a very sharp taste and the gravy goes brilliantly with the Mirchi . Hyderabadi Veg Biryani : Impeccable and extravagant mix of spices in that Biryani took the taste to some great level. Highly recommended . Zauq-e-shahi : Last but not the list a rich dumpling of Shahi Tukda served along with creamy Rabdi . Loved to savor this one as the last dish of the day . The meal was ended with a great of surprise of our favourite Paan . Overall a delightful experience to taste such amazing flavours of Hyderabad being in Mumbai . Do not miss the festive season at InterContinental Kebab Corner . Thank You for reading my detailed Review . Mithil Deepak Thakker

My 5 star rating for food is for the cocktails. We went to the Eau bar located at the lobby level of the Oberoi Hotel on Marine Drive, Mumbai. The bartenders are on point, making all your favourite cocktails in a jiffy, the food is yum and the relaxed outdoor area is a rare find in Bombay. We wandered down to the Dome down the street only to return very quickly, simply cos the quality of service, food and drink here was unmatched. When on holiday it is very difficult to find what you might call a local - The Eau Bar definitely became our local for our time here and we'll definitely be back.
