Bar
Fresco Cocktail Shop in Como is a 1940s-themed cocktail bar that attracts a trendy crowd with its jazzy soundtrack and skilled mixologists. The bar offers top-notch drinks made with locally sourced citrus fruits, making it an ideal spot for an afternoon aperitivo or an after-dinner nightcap. Visitors have described their experience at Fresco as magical and memorable, praising the unique and divine cocktails served by passionate staff in a cozy ambiance with low lighting and jazz music.
I’m not sure words could describe the incredible experience we had at Fresco’s. Everything made here is crafted with incredible thought and care to bring a fresh and innovative flavor experience. If you are in town and enjoy a unique and complex drink, you absolutely must stop here.

What an exceptional cocktail bar. The owner pours his heart onto each creation. Lots of personal touches from his own garden. The selection of spirits are incredible. We even got to enjoy a sweet homemade treat after our beverages. Highly recommended must stop.
Ash — Google review
If I could rate this 10/5 I would. It was an incredible experience. We were greeted with small, homemade desserts. There are no menus, which at first I was leery of, but I ended up having the best Negroni of my life. I'm typically not a Negroni fan - this changed my opinion completely. Everything is homemade and so incredibly thoughtful. I cannot recommend this enough - it's a must stop on your trip to Como.
Hannah S — Google review
Outstanding cocktail bar. Great vibe, attentive and helpful, friendly bar staff. Best cocktail bar I've been to in my life (from a long list...) and delicious cocktails too! They were happy to let me try a bit of one to help make up my mind of what to buy. Excellent atmosphere too - cosy but classy. They had menus (which seems to have been a complaint of older reviews). Nico who was our waiter was exceptional, and the other bar staff checked in and were friendly (before it got busy later in the evening). If you're thinking of going, do it!
Jack L — Google review
The gent serving me was more than helpful and clued up when it came to the best cocktails. All bartenders were polite and I would definitely go again if I was in and around the area. The bar was a lovely intimate setting with a great atmosphere and soothing music.

Such an amazingly beautiful spot! The cocktails are outstanding and watching Sadish work is mesmerising magic! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, couldn't have hoped for a better evening out by myself in a new location. Do NOT miss this one! Thank you all so much for such a lovely addition to my Como trip. Incredible xxx

Best cocktails I've ever had! The waiter understood our tastes perfect'y and crafted drinks based on them all troughout the evening! 10/10 experience !
Claudie P — Google review
We came in to find a bottle of Italicus, none there, but came out more than happy. We had a warming and welcoming experience. There was a great selction (orange vermouth from Sicily, was outstanding) of vermouths and other liqours and a great cocktail list. One of the best negronis I have ever had. As a bartender I apprceited the service; attention to detail and generosity were exceeding all expectations. Thank you for letting us try the bottles we bought! And your camomile amaro was outstanding!

Il Birrificio di Como is a local micro-brewery located in the city center of Como. It offers a selection of malt beers and a gourmet restaurant with TV screens, a ballroom, and an air-conditioned garden. The brewery produces Vudu, a complex dark wheat beer. Additionally, there are other cocktail bars in the area such as 100 Lire and Fresco Cocktail Shop.
A very big steak house with Italien pizza and pasta! Many tables, service was very good and fast they also had a English menu. The food was ok but not good! It was a lot! Special is for sure if you order some beef or chicken that they server it on a hot plate.

What can I write. This place is a heaven for beer lovers and enthusiasts of great food. All beers that I’ve tasted in house and took home with me were excellent. American Wheat with a mulberry fruits, IPA and Super Weiss are simply amazing. Food is also delicious - my Black Angus tenderloin served on charcoal was a perfection. The one thing that was unique in the whole experience was that beers were actually brewed at the time of my dinner. Il Birrifico di Como is a must visit spot.
Łukasz — Google review
The service was excellent, there was even an Iranian waiter who served us. He was very friendly and polite, translated the ingredients of the dishes for us, and overall made our experience at the restaurant even more satisfying. the food was delicious, and I recommend the rosé wine and the beer. The restrooms were clean (I had read a lot of reviews about this before going and was a bit worried, but they were clean and didn’t smell).

This place is huge! A bit crowded on a Friday night (off course) All kinds of people and groups. Service was good and fast. Food was awesome, and maybe the most important thing, their beers were great!

I was here a couple years ago. I didn't like my burger that time. Maybe they changed. I have to try again, but now my beef was Delicious. It was just perfect!

Great atmosphere. Good beers and food. We had the special which was pesto spaghetti and the panzerotti. Very good and easy to find.
Jacqueline T — Google review
We went for the family dinner on Saturday night and we're very disappointed about the service. Very slow staff, even if the place wasn't packed, there were pretending that they don't see you, when you are staying for the 5 mins with hand up, asking someone to come over. We were served by the waitress Gem - unfriendly, rude, when we asked for dish and beer advice, she made a face like she is very tired of our questions... I don't really understand how you can keep the waitress like this. Food was good, especially the burger.

Wine club
Aperitivo Et Al is a renowned wine bar in Bellagio, offering an extensive selection of over 500 different Italian and local wines. The wine list is regularly updated with a strong emphasis on Northern and Central Italy, featuring notable wineries like Gaja and Argiano. Alois Lageder from Trentino-Alto Adige is also well-represented with more than 30 available bottlings.
What makes this lovely wine shop with a wine bar attached extra special is the selection of delicious wines by the glass and the outstanding knowledge of the staff. There is a small menu but the food was delicious and the cold meats and cheese looked amazing. There were lots of food pairings and tasting menus. I can't recommend this place enough, and they serve 100ml glasses as well as 250ml, so you can try more than one of the fabulous local wines. A real gem.
Julia P — Google review
A truly wonderful wine bar! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The wine selection was delicious and well-curated – every glass felt special. Great vibes, high-quality choices, and a beautiful view. Highly recommended for a relaxed and elegant experience!
Henry J — Google review
Really enjoyed this place and also the fact that we sat outside on the patio on one of the busiest and steepest streets in Bellagio. Considering the location in the heart of town the prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent. Eating Lasagna with a glass of wine and looking down the street towards the lakefront and the distant mountains made for an excellent visit.
Scouser1965 — Google review
Aperitivo Bellagio – A Perfect Stop in Italy While on holiday driving around Italy, we stopped at Aperitivo Bellagio – and what a brilliant find! The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was spot on, and the wine selection was absolutely fantastic. You can really tell they care about quality. It was one of those places you don’t forget easily – a proper gem in a stunning location. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area!
John T — Google review
Best wine bar in Bellagio! We sat outside on the barrel tables and watched the sunshine and people walking past while having our wine and bar snacks. The wine list is extensive and clearly chosen with care, great local wines with a a good selection available by the glass. The staff advise and tell you about the wine, and you are given (free) finger food alongside your drink (mini salami sandwich, mini bruschetta, crisp bread) as part of the the aperitivo experience! I learned that the finger food served alongside your drinks are called “stuzzichini”. We loved it so much we came back a second night for a pre-dinner drink. Try and get one of the barrel tables outside if you can. Many people bought a glass of wine to have while queuing for the very popular trattoria opposite! Definitely my favourite place in Bellagio.
Emily — Google review
Was looking forward to a relaxing night enjoying locals wines & produce. Service was terrible. The 3 staff there spent more time talking to each other than serving. We waited 20 minutes before someone approached us for our order. Even when we made it clear that we wanted to try a few wines, they appeared disinterested. So we left & found a restaurant that seemed much more appreciative of our custom.
Maria L — Google review
A nice place to go in Bellagio, with good service and a relaxed atmosphere. For wine lovers, it's a good place, and the pork ribs with polenta we ordered paired with wine were fantastic. Their salad was also delicious; I didn't get to try the chocolate cake because it was already gone.
Leny — Google review
We didn't stay for a drink or have food, so I cannot rate the on-site experience, but we were more than happy to come back 3 nights in a row to buy a chilled bottle of bubbly to have at our apartment. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with a good selection of wines and each time making a suggestion we enjoyed.

Vintage Jazz Food & Wine is an elegant bar and eatery with a speakeasy vibe, offering a mix of upscale pasta, burgers, steaks, and cocktails. The venue features live jazz music in a retro interior with patio seating on the charming Piazza Mazzini. The owner's passion for jazz, refined cuisine, and excellent service is evident in the establishment.
We were there on a Tue eve in October we sat outside, where heatimg lamps were provided. the food was very good, but the service was excellent, professional, caring and informative. We started with cocktails, French 75 and a Negroni. We have been in Italy 2 months and theae were the best versions of these we had, bravo to the mixologist behind the bar. The location is romantic and fun. Thursdays there is live music.
Nancylee S — Google review
Came here thinking there would be live music, and was disappointed there was not. However, the place was inviting, the atmosphere was very nice and dimmed down, and the service was nice. The food and drinks were spot on, and made me glad to have stayed. I'd suggest it for a sexy date place with a great selection of Jazz music playing in the background. Enjoy!!!
Ricardo — Google review
Lovely place, highly recommend. The location is just amazing, very pretty area of Como. We sat in a more intimate place away from the large seating area, our preference. There is also indoor seating. Menu was good, food was tasty. Didn’t like the desserts as much as I wanted to, they just seemed “shop bought” and put on a plate. Waitress was great even though she ended her shift part way through our meal, she made a point of saying goodbye. Prices were acceptable

Pinsa it s veeery good. The beef was ordinary, too salty for me the pastas with pecorino. Good atmosphere and services.

Unforgettable night at Vintage Jazz and Wine in Como! Amazing ambience, friendly staff, and top-notch live jazz. The management creates a joyful vibe, bringing everyone together with delicious food, fun hats, and a surprise cockatiel visit! Patrons from all cultures laughed and sang along. A must-visit for great music and memories!
Sandy G — Google review
We stopped for a drink outside in the early evening, had a couple, then stayed for dinner. Good, varied menu, reasonably priced for Como, but the highlight was the staff, who couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. Definitely 5⭐️. Would love to come back when there’s a jazz band playing.
Steve M — Google review
Great terrazzo outside. Inside great “jazzy” atmosphere. Food is good but not exceptional. Still a great recommendation for a relax evening. Good food, great atmosphere.
Michael I — Google review
Really great first impressions, cocktails were absolutely fantastic and the live music was very enjoyable! However, we ordered the angus steak, which was chewy, extremely undercooked (raw, after specifying that it should be medium rare) and tough. The filet, which was asked to be medium, was medium rare but well cooked and tender. The portions are also a bit small. Overall an okay place to eat, drinks are great but food isn’t the best we’ve had in Como, especially for the price.

Live music venue
Giuliani is a popular restaurant in Como, known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to share local tips. The restaurant offers a variety of food and drink options, with the added bonus of being pet-friendly. While some find it slightly pricey, others appreciate the opportunity to enjoy classic Italian cuisine with a view of the lake at reasonable prices. The service is often praised for its warmth and humor, creating a pleasant dining experience.
Great food, great location and excellent atmosphere. Very good sauce prep used in pasta and the sea food was also very fresh. Could do better with the pasta itself used but overall very tasty. There was live music and requested songs were also played. Must go in como!
Tarun S — Google review
Today, my family and I had lunch at Giuliani Restaurant. We ordered two plates of Polpo, Gamberi e Calamari, along with a pizza and a chicken burger. The setting was truly beautiful, the service was quick, and the food was delicious overall. However, we noticed that the calamari dish was served steamed or boiled rather than fried, which is how we personally prefer it. We tasted one of the two plates and didn’t enjoy the steamed version, so we politely asked the waiter if we could replace the second plate with a fried version. The waiter took the plate, but moments later, another staff member (who I believe was Moroccan, as he spoke Arabic) returned and spoke to us in a very sharp and unwelcoming tone, saying the dish could not be replaced. Unfortunately, this attitude didn’t match the otherwise pleasant ambiance. I replied kindly, saying it was fine we came to enjoy our time, not to argue—and we continued with the rest of our meal. A few minutes later, the same staff member returned and asked again if we would still like to replace the dish. I said yes, and he brought us a properly fried version, which we appreciated. In the end, the experience was generally good. The prices are a bit on the high side, but they are justified by the quality of the food, the beautiful location, and the overall atmosphere. That said, the attitude of one staff member could have ruined the experience—and we believe such behavior doesn’t reflect the otherwise excellent standard of the restaurant.

Restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake como.. Dining here with a breathtaking view of Lake Como was an unforgettable experience! The serene beauty of the lake combined with the exquisite culinary delights made for a perfect evening. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our meal. The menu featured a delightful selection of dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a picturesque spot for a special occasion, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!"

Bistrò Il Golfo in Lenno (co) offers a mixed dining experience. While some visitors found the pizzas excellent and reasonably priced, others were not impressed with certain dishes like carbonara and bruschetas. The tiramisu was praised but considered expensive. The service was described as friendly but slow due to understaffing. However, the restaurant's beautiful setting with a great view of the lake received positive feedback.
The temperature being perfect added to the atmosphere and comfort of eating here. The staff was courteous and attentive, and although I only had a sandwich, it tasted good. Please be advised though, that their milkshakes are not very thick.

I saw the comments regarding the service, to be honest we didn’t have any issues. The waitress was friendly and did her job correctly. At the beginning we had a place a bit behind and then a table just in front of the lake was available, we asked the waitress to change our place and there was no problem and she helped us to take the food to the new table. She also brought us extra bread when we asked. The food was good and the view was amazing. All was super nice.

The pizza was absolutely wonderful – one of the best we’ve had in Italy. The pasta and burger were good. The waitresses were genuinely kind and attentive, which is quite rare in this part of Italy. We highly recommend this place! :)
Mechi M — Google review
The restaurant has a beautiful view and many food options. However, I had the pasta bolognese and it was mediocre, there was barely any sauce, it was really dry (I think it’s visible on the picture). I’ve had much more amazing pasta on other restaurants of the lake. The blonde waitress was a bit rude on the way she acts, not verbally tho. But another waitresses were really nice!
Claudia P — Google review
Fresh & healthy food! My spinach ricotta ravioli were delicious - very thin, homemade, delicate pasta. Service was great & food came quickly. Great prices & dog friendly!
Lena B — Google review
Delicious food. View of the lake. Friendly staff. Good wine. Good value. Normal prices. We were there twice. The best restaurant in Lenno - price - quality.
Vladimir G — Google review
I was disappointed by the food. We ordered roasted beef and salad with roasted chicken. There is no taste. Less seasonings and the salade has no dressing that could have been originally crafted. The price of the food is too high for their quality as it seems that it is very easy to prepare. It looks like the ingredients were just arranged on a plate and in a bowl. I cannot find any authentic Italian taste in the food in comparison to all other restaurants I have been to at Lake Como. The food could be improved a lot better. The atmosphere is good though because it is next to the like with a nice view of the mountains. It is quiet and nice for a nice evening.

Such a fun and friendly atmosphere bar/restaurant. Loved the decoration, the friendly staff, and most of all the food and drinks! We had lasagna, and 2 different fried pizzas! The field pizza with potatoes in the filling and pesto topping had a bit too much cheese in the filling, for my personal the taste. Other than that it was delicious. I also had the water kefir! What a fun surprise they made their own, I had the mint one. It had a very light refreshing and sweet taste!

(Translated by Google) We arrived late at 4pm on Sunday and so they kindly let us sit on the first 2 free sunbeds for free. The pebble beach without suitable shoes is not the best but the place is truly suggestive. The happy hour is well stocked with a cost of 8 euros per drink. Overall I would recommend it to everyone but especially to 2 wheel lovers, parking is a nightmare and almost impossible. From Milan 40 minutes by motorbike and you're in the middle of the greenery I will come back to try the swimming pool and the restaurant beyond the provincial one of the same management (I think).

(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful, the management friendly, good quality of food (fresh) and drinks, there is adequate space between the sunbeds, very large parking lot. We spent several days there this summer and the opinion is uniform: good. We never went on Sat/Sun, so the rating refers to Monday to Friday. Today, September 9th, a beautiful day, a few swimmers on the moving blue lake. See you in 2021. (Translated by Google) Certainly my favorite beach on the Lario. I love their beach! Equipped with a large bar room, where in summer they also organize evenings until late. Lots of sunbeds available at a fair price. The drinks aren't bad, the staff is friendly and always willing to have a chat. It is also served by paid parking areas, which is not always easy given that parking spaces on the lake are always very limited and in fact on Sundays it is really difficult to find a space. The view is really beautiful, it's worth stopping by to spend a relaxing day. (Original) Di sicuro il mio lido preferito sul Lario. Adoro la loro spiaggia! Attrezzata con un ampio locale bar, dove in estate organizzano anche serate fino a tarda ora. Tantissimi lettini a disposizione a prezzo giusto.

The Brothers Cafe is a must-visit spot in the heart of Comos nightlife area. In the morning, you can enjoy a classic Italian breakfast with a delightful selection of pastries and cappuccinos. Later in the day, stop by for original cocktails and tasty pinsas at their vintage-style bar. The cafe's interior exudes an elegant vibe with gleaming walnut wood, mirrors, and an impressive array of bottles.
Cute little bar just off the main plaza. Staff were friendly and nice service. Cocktails were great, super tasty and the snacks were delicious too! Nice place to relax with a drink after a long day. We came back the next evening too for more cocktails.

Nice cafe in the city center. Friendly stuff and fast service. Coke 0,33l 5€ (quite expensive) but the coffee was cheap. Good place to have a break, I would recommend it ⭐️

It was an amazing cocktail, and it was very charming bar. Having complimentary food was also a great addition to the bar. The only reason for 4 stars is the lack of personality from staff, and the barman was slightly rude to the waitress, which impacted the atmosphere.

The elegant vibe of Brothers is perfect for outdoor seating, a date night or even a fun yet upscale dining experience. We had the Salmon Salad which was massive and fresh with great vegetables. The best Risotto fungi with small discs of beef tartar that was so very well made that I will actually miss it. I cannot wait to return and enjoy a bottle of Chianti and this exact dish again. Grazie.

Cosy little cafe with a nice decor, good music and atmosphere. The friendly and welcoming waiter service was a delight. Had an pretty decent strength espresso martini to kick off my day and wasn’t disappointed.

The Waitress was very unfriendly. At first, she waited like half an hour to take our order. In that time she saw us waving and pretended that she didn‘t saw us. She was on her phone and went Smoking. After we got our food, she didn‘t Even ask if the food was okay, she didn’t Said a thing. And the Best thing was, when we wanted to pay, the other waitress did that. Then my friend saw, that she gave herself a 4€ tip, although he Said Nothing for tip… That was very disappointed… the food was okay

Nice place to try many different croissants and grab a coffee. Interior has very nice photos and details that you wanna check out. Came back to this place after 20:00. It was a bar then. The cocktails are really good and they have a lot of different kinds that aren't on menu Also with cocktails they brought plate of snacks

Cute little bar with some decent Pinsas! Also the prices are reasonable, especially for the location directly at a beautiful Piazza. Service is either amazing or horrible. There were two girls around- one welcoming and friendly and the other one obviously hating to be there/hating humans. Don’t take it personally if you are doomed to have her for service 😂✌🏼

Italian restaurant
Wine bar
Ristorante L'Escale Trattoria & Wine Bar is a part of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, offering an immersive experience into local flavors and hospitality. It celebrates the essence of Italian trattoria and enoteca, providing authentic Italian cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant provides traditional and lighter Italian dishes paired with a selection of fine wines in a relaxed atmosphere within a renovated wine cellar adorned with a charming veranda.
Had a great night at l’escale, it pitches itself to be a more “approachable” option vs the hotel’s signature restaurant “LA TERRAZZA GUALTIERO MARCHESI” with crowd favourite traditional Italian dishes such as steak Fiorentina and spaghetti carbonara but in an elegant high end setting. However don’t expect to pay bistro prices. A glass of wine will set you back 30 euro plus and look to spend at least 100 euro per person in food. But if you’re prepared for the price tag it’s well worth it. The service was attentive with a dash of over the top humour (we ordered the tiramisu that was prepared at the table and our waiter “confessed” that he was looking forward to the dessert more than we were) The atmosphere was bustling yet also managed to feel intimate, we were sat inside and were greeted with a modern yet personality full decor with many interesting elements as potential conversation starters. The indoor part of the restaurant is a perfect date location, it seemed that in this section the majority clientele were couples with several sat side by side as opposed to the traditional opposite. My only minor criticism was that even though we were sat inside it was slightly on the cold side so would say this is more of a summer place for those sensitive to lower than average temperature (we came in April). Last but not least was the food, and this did not disappoint. We ordered several dishes and surprisingly the standouts were the more traditional options where we found they were able to execute elevated versions of dishes we’d had before with a twist. The beef tartare for example was made at the table, broken down ingredient by ingredient, and served with raspberries, a well thought together addition which broke through the meatiness perfectly. Am glad we didn’t look at the reviews before coming as it may have persuaded us to not come. This is an amazing restaurant! Bottom line is L’Escale is an experience as opposed to somewhere where you just go to “get full”. Perhaps they could have one or two cheaper wine options, perhaps they could charge a slightly lower markup for food but the counter to this is for those who are looking for good value for money food and wine can definitely find better value options elsewhere in the region. However if you’re looking for a truly memorable time, amazing food and wine, and fantastic service all in a majestic yet approachable setting then look no further.

This was a VERY special dinner with the family while we were traveling to Lake Como and celebrating 20 years of marriage. I can’t say enough great things! We were a party of 5 and I give them a 5/5 (I’d actually say 6!) For our Food: The Apps- fresh bruschetta with fresh burrata; zucchini with ricotta; spinach salad with some delicious soft cheese. The Entrees: Spaghetti carbonara; lasagna; ravioli with lamb and a delicious pea sauce; and the BIG winner- my veal ossobuco alla Milanese. (This was probably the best Veal ossobuco I’ve ever had!!!) Desserts: a most wonderful chocolate mousse with chocolate gelato; a vanilla soufflé with cherries and a chocolate sauce and vanilla sauce; and a tiramisu, prepared right at the table side. Everything was delicious! The service was outstanding. The view and ambiance even more spectacular. While this had been our most expensive meal on this trip (and on many of our trips) it was truly an experience. Worth doing if you want something special and memorable. They normally have a live musician, but they were not there the night we ate. We were, however, treated to the most wonderful play list (my wife and I loved every song- it took us back to our early times of marriage when we listened to the Pottery Barn dinner collection CDs.. while we would cook and eat. They were kind enough to share the playlist with us, Sotto Fondo Restorante.) Bravo all around!

Easily the best meal we had in Como during our week stay. It is expensive, but that should not surprise anyone given the menu is available online and restaurants in 5* hotels are almost always pricey. The staff was very accommodating to our bambini. One of few places that offers a burger and fries - a welcome change for our kids (9 and 7) after many meals of pizza/pasta. My wife and I shared foie gras (great), radicchio flan (unique and shockingly good), maccheroni (great tomato sauce), cacio pepe (fun table side prep and also great) and split a ribeye. Cannot say enough about the ribeye. We have eaten a numerous 3* Michelin restaurants, many of the top steakhouses in America, and this ribeye is, not exaggerating, the best steak either of us have had. It is thin cut, compared to American steaks, so do not go anything past medium rare. Wines, champagne and desserts all wonderful. We ate at 7:00pm, when the restaurant opens, service was prompt and very friendly.

I hate to write bad reviews, but I feel I need to warn people about this place. I do not mind paying a lot for a quality meal but this however was far from good or even decent quality, absurdly small portions, and insanely priced. The meatballs were so dry they were hardly even edible. The service was decent and servers were pleasant however a bit slow. To top it all off we were seated next to a family that was wildly inappropriate, loud, and vulgar throughout the entire meal, adding more to such an off putting experience. They should have been asked by the restaurant to stop it was disruptive to everyone else’s dining experience. I truly cannot believe we paid as much as we did for this almost comically terrible meal. Again I do want to say that the servers were lovely people but it’s so sad that such a nice hotel has such an awful restaurant. The view was the only saving grace, it was amazing but could not compensate for the rest of the nightmarish experience we had here.
Shelby R — Google review
Such a disappointment! Used to hotel guests with undiscerning palates and no care for money perhaps? Terrific location and view. Food ok, but so many better and fantastic options nearby. Sommelier tried to recommend a 300€ wine straight away. Seriously?! Tiramisu made at your table! A gimmick and insult to the Italian tradition. Service incredibly slow, and it wasn’t busy. Avoid if you don’t like to waste a meal. Go to Belle Ile or La Fagurida for real Italian gastronomy. Unfortunately not the quality of food and service when it first opened.
S L — Google review
Over priced, indisputably terrible service with bland, small portioned food. Not a very busy restaurant with very little atmosphere. It does have a very nice view but if you’re staying at the hotel you have that view anywhere you go. So it’s not unique to the restaurant. Be prepared to wait an hour between each of your courses and sit with empty drinks for 45 minutes or more. I was served 4 flavorless meatballs with a carbonara that tasted like the lid of the salt shaker fell off, paired with a couple glasses of wine, for $300. Not sure how a hotel of this caliber can allow for a restaurant to operate like this. We left most of our food, paid our bill and left. Horrible experience
Richard E — Google review
The food is mediocre at best and overpriced. For the most part the waitstaff were rude and unhelpful. Particularly the young man with curly hair, very off putting. The only thing this place has going for it is the view which they clearly rely on.

It offers a wide range of delicious pizzas, from simple classics to gourmet options. Visitors praise the exceptional service and cozy atmosphere of this rustic old building. Guests can also watch the skilled preparation of their pizzas. The restaurant provides an authentic Italian dining experience with great value for money and delightful house wine.
Amazing pizzas, truly the best!! Great ingredients, very authentic, filled with locals. The only low point were the desserts, which were too sweet and probably not home made. Still, a great and affordable restaurant near Lake Como.

We've been here two times during our holiday in Como as family. Their service and hospitality are perfect! We have tried three different pizzas, and all of them were delicious. Inside seating has cozy atmosphere, where little garden seating during summer evenings would definitely recommended.

Okay Pizza for a fair price. However we had to wait for >60 minutes! We were among the first guests after opening at 5pm. All guests had to wait more than 45 minutes for their pizzas. The pizzas itself were good/okay, however some were burnt on the top while quite pale on the bottom.

Super place for breakfast. Friendly staff, great coffee a Nd pastries. We first went there more than ten years ago and still as welcoming as it was then.

If you are italian you are very welcome here. Otherwise (like in our case) you have to wait 20-30 minutes for two simple pizzas, which are probably deep frozen pizzas re-heated in oven. We also ordered two Hugo cocktails but the taste and quality were very poor. Unfortunately the staff speaks only “a little bit” english. Our stay here was good to kill off some time, but this is definitely NOT a tourist-friendly place. Don’t recommend it.
Gergely M — Google review
We had beer and water. Drinks were okay. For food we tried tagliatelle with mushrooms and cannelloni. The tagliatelle were fine but unfortunately we were not satisfied with the cannelloni. The dish didn’t match the description in the menu and it tasted a bit bland. We had to wait for a long time for the waitress (approx 15 mins) to sort the things out. We returned it and in the end we agreed on choosing another dish (spaghetti carbonara, they were pretty good).

The place was okay, though the atmosphere wasn’t great. The pizza was passable but tasted frozen and the Hugo cocktails were very poor in quality. Service was average, but the staff didn’t speak English very well and didn’t seem very welcoming to tourists.

A bit out of the way from other restaurants in Lenno but worth the visit because of the fair prices and quality food. We came here after coming back from visiting Villa Del Balbianello since it wasn’t too far from the base of the hill. It seemed to be primarily locals in there but service for us was fine. We got an English menu ordered a tuna panino and a pizza. We sat outside and the wait wasn’t too long. It’s very much a casual place.

L'Orso Cafè Hostaria is a charming eatery located in a converted marble artisan's workshop. The venue offers three spacious areas where visitors can savor local specialties, pizza, panini, and cold dishes. The sympathetic restoration of the locale has preserved its artistic ambiance. Situated conveniently near the ferry stop, it provides outdoor seating with a pleasant view. While some patrons found the food to be average, others enjoyed their experience and praised the accommodating staff.
The two cafes nearby were full, so the two of us decided to go to this place. I was initially very worried after reading the reviews here, but none of the negative experiences seemed to apply to us. We ordered a hot chocolate and pasta with lake fish. Both were served within 10 minutes, hot and fresh. Also, they don’t have minimum order requirements or table charges like some other restaurants.

Do not waste your money here. What a bad experience. Gruff and rude service and the food was terrible. The pesto pasta was swimming in oil and salt. Likewise was the tuna and olive pasta. The man behind the counter was very unhappy I didn't have cash, he ran my card very reluctantly.

We found this place by accident and didn't regret eating there. The pasta Tono and the shrimps salad were both really good. The service was great as well; the waiters were very friendly.

This is a nice spot to sit, and the owner and waiter were friendly and efficient. My coke zero came with a slice of lemon and was delicious. Unfortunately, the meal was not. I had a bolognese. Great food and service and great views of lake Como. Reasonably priced with great options for meat and fish. My husband and I split Parma ham and lasagne as starters I had the veal Milanese and he had the curry prawns which were exceptionally good. Cosmo and special cocktails were fantastic. Visited with a large group for dinner. Had several options to choose from in a 3 course meal - one vegetarian of each available (appetizer, main, desert). Was a little skeptical at first with the vegetarian dishes especially two with tomatoes but at first taste, I was blown away! Mozzarella and Roma/cherries as well as the tomato pasta sauce each tasted so fresh, unique and divine! Loved everything about the meal.

We were very lucky to have gotten a table at Harry’s Bar because the place is always booked. Thanks to Jason, the manager, for being on the lookout and flagging us down after a cancellation so that we could enjoy one of the best meals we had while staying at the nearby Villa D’Este. Despite the name, we enjoyed an authentic Italian meal based on a menu from of local catches from Lake Como. The views of the lake are spectacular and the service is top notch. We really enjoyed our piano player as well.

Having just arrived in the region and knowing nothing about where to eat out, we walked to the small town of Cernobbio and as my husband can't walk too far, the restaurant looked very inviting in the evening with candle-lit tables, shiny glassware and well-dressed staff. We enquired after a table for two and were immediately asked if we had a reservation. We hadn't but after a few raised eyebrows were shown to a table we liked. An aperitif each was ordered as well as water. The water arrived and we chose to order an antipasti to share a main course each and a bottle of wine. The aperitif took so long to arrive that our wine arrived shortly after and although I'd only had two sips the waiter actually asked if I wanted it taken away as we now had wine! The antipasti was basic and although the main course was well cooked, to ask 15 euros for a small side salad is laughable. After we'd finished, we were going to have a dessert but we waited and waited and waited but no one came to offer a dessert menu; they were too busy schmoozing with large reserved tables of Italian diners and we were clearly forgotten. Having asked for the bill, which already included service charge, water charge, and table charge, the cost was completely outrageous in that there was not any true service and we'd had far better for so much less in Como, Garda and Verona on this trip. However, we were totally shocked when we were asked if we then wanted to add a gratuity!! We have dined in some superb restaurants across Italy over the years but never, ever have any waiting staff asked for a gratuity. Give this place a wide berth.

It is hard to believe but this is the worst I have seen so far of snobnish Italy. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS LOCAL! They literally told me that they are “closed for lunch“ at 14h with a half emtpy restaurant. The blond chick with glasses had NO idea that I am multi million reviews’ views influencer. Waited patiently at the entrance while she was schmoozing with some pompous Italian leaving the place. I would bet you that he was not tipping as an American would! HORROR EXPERIENCE. AVOID. Villa Regina Teodolinda, located in Laglio on Lake Como, has a rich history dating back to the 6th century. Once a favored retreat for Milan's elite, it now offers six renovated suites with views of the lake and a traditional courtyard adorned with lights. The venue is known for hosting weddings and can accommodate up to 70 people for ceremonies and receptions. With its rustic charm and premium lakeside location, this exclusive hotel provides a relaxing ambiance for guests.
Villa Regina Teodolinda is an absolute jewel on Lake Como – the perfect venue for a romantic and elegant destination wedding in Italy. I had the honor of photographing an elopement and was blown away by the charm of the villa, the breathtaking lakefront views, and the intimate, fairytale atmosphere it creates. The lush garden, private dock, and historic interiors offer stunning photo opportunities at every turn. It is not a very big location but for a small group of guests totally enough. This venue is ideal for couples looking for an exclusive and truly unforgettable wedding experience on Lake Como. I would be thrilled to return and capture more beautiful love stories in this magical place. Julia Löffler

We had our dream wedding at Villa Regina Teodolinda – and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the stunning lakefront views to the elegance of the villa itself, everything felt like a fairytale. But what made it absolutely exceptional was Beatrice. She did more than she supposed to do. Her attention to detail, warmth, and ability to handle every little request with calm and grace made us feel completely taken care of. Our guests are still talking about the atmosphere, the food, the setting… and of course, the incredible staff. Beatrice made planning from abroad easy and stress-free. We trusted her, and she delivered beyond words. If you’re considering a destination wedding or a special event on Lake Como, look no further. This place is magic – and Beatrice is the reason it works so flawlessly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We’ll never forget it.

The people were great. The parking was a bit difficult. I was told that is how the whole area is like with parking. Just a cultural thing. Being American I am just use to ample parking. No tv’s. No in room refrigerator. No desks. Just a place to sleep.
John M — Google review
The setting of Villa Regina Teodolinda is beautiful, but unfortunately the overall experience does not match the location. The villa itself is in need of updating, and both the food and services fell below expectations for a venue in this price category. The management company also applies extremely high charges for basic services that are not delivered at a professional standard. For example, a sound system valued at only a few thousand euros was rented out for more than €13,000 per night, and even then it was unreliable. For any event, this can be a serious issue. Additionally, there is an ongoing dispute regarding the return of the security deposit, which has added unnecessary stress to the newlyweds’ honeymoon. As professionals in the event industry, we recommend future clients carefully review what is being promised versus what is actually provided. The location is charming, but the service, costs, and management practices leave much to be desired.

nice place, photographs well. However the communications and organization was very sub par for this kind of place. Inconsistency of regulations, hidden charges and mistakes in the invoices that the wedding party need to correct multiple times. no choice of entertainment agency (one has exclusivity with the venue) Wedding party the day before call the cops because their gifts were stolen.

The villa looks very dreamy and romantic from the outside, and the interior style perfectly matches that charm. There’s also convenient parking available. The rooms and common areas are very outdated, and the entire villa is in need of a full renovation. We had mold in the bathroom, on the walls, and around the windows. Other elements—like the furniture and window blinds—were literally falling apart. Unfortunately, the staff were not polite, and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. I was genuinely surprised this place is used as a wedding venue, considering the poor condition of the interior.

We rented this villa for a wedding, but the staff working inside were extremely rude and inconsiderate. The listing said breakfast was included for the next morning, but the breakfast was terribly poor. There were barely any options, not even eggs, and what was there was so low in quality. For the price we paid, this was a huge disappointment.

Villa Regina Teodolinda is pure romance on Lake Como. We've photographed multiple weddings here, and every time, we’re reminded why this villa is so special. With its stunning lakefront location, elegant architecture, and intimate charm, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. One of the most magical moments is arriving by boat—there’s nothing quite like gliding across the lake and seeing the villa’s beauty unfold before you. The gardens, the charming terraces, and the serene waters make every wedding here feel effortlessly elegant. Beyond the beauty, the service is always impeccable, ensuring that every couple has a stress-free and unforgettable experience. If you’re dreaming of a Lake Como wedding with timeless elegance and breathtaking views, Villa Regina Teodolinda is simply perfect. — Peter & Veronika
