1Rimondi Boutique Hotel, an SLH Hotel

Hotel
Boutique
Rimondi Boutique Hotels is an elegant accommodation option located in the heart of Rethymnon's Old Town. The hotel consists of three distinct buildings: Palazzo Rimondi, Rimondi Estate, and Rimondi Residences, each offering a unique experience. Guests can enjoy the spa, rooftop terrace, and two courtyard pools while savoring complimentary breakfast at this upscale establishment.
A highlight of our trip! This hotel exceeded our already high expectations. Great location in old town on a narrow street (no car traffic allowed). Steps away from countless great restaurants and yet extremely quiet and peaceful. A lovely little oasis! Staff was warm and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with our room and was lavish. A wide selection of sweet and savory - eggs, bacon, savory tarts, meats and cheeses, fruits, breads, cakes, cereal, yogurt, etc - all all the fixings - jams, jellies, honey, raisins, nuts. Cooked to order also available, though I preferred to sample what they had prepared. All was fresh and delicious. Room was spacious and comfortable. Two small pools with seating areas, enclosed in courtyards with ivy-covered walls. Five minute walk (max) to a nice little supermarket if you need incidentals. Our room had a small private courtyard with jacuzzi which we used most evenings of our 5 night stay. During our whole 3 wks in Greece we managed to find really outstanding little hotels but this one was our favorite. Really topnotch and very highly recommended. We would seek this one out again if we were to revisit Rethymno. The only downside was the room could use an extra electrical outlet at each bedside.
Kate V — Google review
We stayed at two rooms - a family of four - one on each side of the hotel. The Estate room (no 2) with pool view has a lot of personality and is highly recommended. The other room was also nice though. The staff are very attentive and smiling - at the breakfast, by the pool, the cleaners or the reception that helps with really good sightseeing advice. The hotel has a romantic and historic atmosphere and sits quite perfectly located to enjoy old town Rethymnon.
Stig G — Google review
Honestly, this did not feel like a 4-star hotel experience. Our first room was so noisy that we had to change to another one. Unfortunately, the second room had a strong smell of mold and an electric cabinet with a door that wouldn’t close, which was both a safety risk and a constant source of noise. Be aware that unfortunately the WiFi is terrible and cuts out every 5 seconds. The hotel itself looks very pretty from the outside, but overall it was not a pleasant stay indide it for me and my family. The staff were very kind and truly did their best, but I cannot understand the prestige or the high price of this hotel, as it did not match the experience we had.
Charlie — Google review
We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Rimondi boutique hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms but the highlight for us was breakfast each morning and Evangilia's warm smiling welcome; it felt like being "home" to have her greet us each day, she provided advice on things to do/see and always asked about our previous day. The pool area is like a piece of paradise. The location is within a 5 minute walk to everything. My only suggestion is to install quiet close mechanisms on the doors (the doors tend to slam and some guests are not considerate). Otherwise a wonderful choice.
Lee K — Google review
A fabulous hotel in the heart of the old town. It was everything we wanted from our three nights exploring the area. The two pools are wonderful and such a plus point especially when you have children and you all need to cool off. The bar areas were great as were the breakfasts. The staff were also brilliant. So helpful and so welcoming to us all. Very good with children. It has a great vibe and we would return. The only thing marking it down to a 4 with the room was there wasn’t adequate storage in the room for a family of four. We didn’t complain at all but would book a larger family room next time. Thank you to everyone for making our first visit to Crete so memorable!
Claire D — Google review
WOW is all I have to say. Most beautiful hotel ever - so reasonably priced, stunning rooms in the middle of the old town. Staff are incredible but the pools are breathtaking. Best hotel in Crete!
Annabel L — Google review
A gorgeous hotel set in the old town of Rethymno. The staff were lovely and friendly. A lovely selection of food at breakfast. It was like a little oasis. Highly recommend it!! I was travelling on my own so it was absolutely PERFECT!!

I would like to thank everyone for making our stay so perfect. I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's name; Eleni was the first person we met at the hotel and she was charming and professional - we even given a fruit platter one evening; such a lovely touch. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly and the location cannot be beaten. Add to this a wonderful breakfast and...well, you can't get better; we'll be back.

Hotel
Cressa Suites - Adults Only is a charming hotel nestled in the old town of Rethymno, just a short walk from the nearest beach. Housed in a former Venetian-Ottoman mansion, this adults-only retreat features traditional Turkish hammam and rooms with private terraces and hot tubs. Guests can enjoy delicious breakfast delivered to their room and relax on the top floor terrace with a drink.
The Cressa Suites team was amazing. They went above and beyond to help make sure our visit went smoothly. The morning breakfast baskets were delicious and so thoughtful. They even made us a breakfast to go when they found out we would be leaving before breakfast on check out day. Crete was, hands down, the highlight of our Greek vacation and that is almost exclusively thanks to the Cressa Suites team. We will definitely be back.
Amber R — Google review
We stayed one night here but would definitely stay longer if we are in Rethymno again. Hotel is located on a quiet street. The room we had is spacious and has a terrace. Evi was AMAZING…. She helped us made transport arrangements and gave us restaurant recommendations.
Peggy T — Google review
I stayed at this hotel for one night during what was supposed to be a special and peaceful getaway—my baby moon. I am 7 months pregnant, and unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst hotel experience of my life. When we arrived, we discovered that the air conditioner was leaking water. The room was flooded. When we informed the staff, their only solution was to give us a few towels to deal with it ourselves. To make matters worse, there was a constant loud noise coming from the bathroom that lasted the entire night. We reported it in the afternoon, but no one offered a real solution. We couldn’t sleep at all. At midnight, we were even told to try to sleep somewhere else—but every hotel in the area was fully booked. In total desperation, I considered sleeping outside on the terrace, but even there the noise was unbearable. We filed a complaint and have received no response from the manager. When I called to follow up, the receptionist told me—word for word—“It only cost you €90, it’s nothing, I don’t understand why you’re complaining.” This level of disrespect and lack of empathy is unacceptable, especially toward a pregnant woman and her husband who couldn’t get a single hour of rest due to serious issues that should have never occurred. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It was a complete nightmare. It is a pitty that I cant share videos.
Montserrat C — Google review
Great little hotel conveniently located in the old town. Rooms are comfortable, quiet & ours had a beautiful sunny private courtyard. Service team was extremely helpful.
Matt S — Google review
The worst experience of my life!! Decent service but the room was a disaster. We couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the ventilation system. The hotel is well located and the staff is friendly, but the rooms have very serious noise and insulation issues. I don’t understand all the positive reviews. The staff doesn’t care and the manager is nowhere to be found! There are plenty of other options on the same street where we had perfect nights.
Laurent F — Google review
What an absolutely amazing place to stay in Rethymnon - Crete. We stayed in room 5, absolutely amazing room, everything you need, comfy bed, great shower, lovely private balcony to chill out on after a day in the sun, especially with the private jacuzzi! Amazing service from Evi. She really made our stay 10X better. Always chatty, helpful with all sorts, especially with recommendations on what to do and helpful with looking into trips to help! Breakfast was great, freshly made every morning, so much food and all delicious! It was a very amazing stay and would very much recommend!
Matthew E — Google review
Fantastic location, quiet & gorgeous room & beautiful building so full of character & charm. Evie Thankyou for all your helpful advice & hospitality.
Marina K — Google review
We stayed here for a week and really loved it! The rooms are clean and modern and, unless you book the lowest category, they're very spacious and with nice features such as patio/jacuzzi. The AC worked great, as well as the rest of the facilities. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay and we were never bothered by any loud noise or unexpected inconveniences. One of the best assets this tiny hotel has is the staff. The girl at reception was always incredibly helpful and kind, going the extra mile with any request or question we'd have. One of the best customer service experience we've ever had. We'll certainly be coming back again!

Swell Boutique Hotel in Rethymno offers refined rooms and suites with balconies providing stunning sea views. The hotel features a restaurant, bar/lounge, and poolside bar for dining options. Guests can enjoy recreational activities such as an outdoor pool, sauna, and 24-hour fitness center. The beachfront location allows for easy access to Town Beach and Blue Beach.
Same hotel for the second year in a row now. Best place to be. Everybody is super friendly and nice. Rooms are nothing special but very clean. Breakfest is simple, but everything tastes good. Dinner is really incredible, almost like a 1-Star restaurant. Try as much from the menu as you can, you won't be disappointed. And after Dinner, or after the beach for a coffee and a beer, visit Pavlos at the bar. Really nice guy, always tryn to make everybody happy and always up for a chat. Really good Cocktails!

Very nice hotel with beautiful room, good breakfast and super friendly staff. Also ask Nico or Janis for recommendations of good restaurants, they know very well. Certainly go to Nostos restaurant at next corner, is absolutely the best

The entire staff was wonderful. Every single one of them from housekeeping to the front desk. So friendly and willing to serve you. I found the hotel to be extremely clean. The location is central, and they would save us parking in front. This is my new home when I'm returning to Crete.
Robert S — Google review
The entire staff of this hotel needs to be commended. Friendly, helpful, courteous and most of all went out of their way to assure we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The location was perfect right across the street from the beach. We had a parking space directly in front of the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it.

We recently returned from a five night stay at the Swell Boutique Hotel in Rethymno, Crete, and had a truly wonderful experience! 1. Location: Excellent! The hotel is perfectly situated just steps from the beach, the boardwalk, and a variety of restaurants and shops. It’s easy to reach (although about an hour's drive from Heraklion Airport), and absolutely worth the trip! Rethymno itself is full of charm and history, with the Old Town and fortress within walking distance. 2. Service: Outstanding! From the moment we arrived early, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They prepared our room ahead of time so we could start our vacation right away and even offered us refreshments in the lobby while we waited - always with a smile. When our flight home was delayed, they were kind enough to arrange a late checkout for a small fee. A special touch: my husband celebrated his birthday during our stay, and we were surprised with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit in our room - such a thoughtful gesture that really made our day. The cleaning staff were excellent, and the bartender was equally delightful. 3. Room: Spacious & Comfortable We booked the double suite, which we highly recommend - perfect for two couples or a family with older kids (note: the stairs inside the suite are quite steep). The room was beautifully arranged, with a lovely view, a great layout, and all the comforts: air conditioning, a coffee machine, water, tea, and plenty of storage space. 4. Parking : Manageable The hotel does offer parking, though it’s limited. On the few occasions it was full, we easily found a spot nearby after a short drive around the area. 5. Breakfast: Very Good A nice variety of options and a beautiful spot to enjoy your morning meal with a view. We highly recommend the Swell Boutique Hotel and truly wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Crete!

We stayed at the hotel and it was a great. What made it truly special was the way Yannis took care of us. Rarely have I met someone who does their work with so much honor and dedication. Because of this, whenever I think of Rethymon, I will think of people like Yannis, who give the place such a good spirit.
Mariam A — Google review
Swell Boutique Hotel is the perfect place for those who like comfortable, clean and quiet rooms with a stunning sea view; breakfast rich and diverse; the beach just a few steps away... But the main reason why you should visit this hotel is the staff. They will welcome and pamper you with the effortless smile.
Snezana K — Google review
We stayed in June and are just now getting around to writing our review. The staff was so professional, kind, and friendly! Everything was beautiful- the rooms, the views- everything! The front desk people couldn't have been nicer. Oh, don't let me forget to mention the incredible food. Parking was a bit tricky, but we would still stay there again a thousand times over. We'd recommend Swell to anyone wanting a fantastic experience on the most exquisite island in Greece! The location was perfect, and we enjoyed every moment.

Menta City Boutique Hotel is a serene and environmentally friendly hotel located in the quietest area of Rethymnon. It offers spacious, apartment-style rooms designed to provide a comfortable home away from home experience, complete with complimentary high-speed internet access. The hotel features an outdoor pool, spa, and a rooftop bar with breathtaking sea and city views. Guests have praised the warm and friendly check-in process as well as the stunning balcony views from their rooms.
Warm and friendly check in. Room was nice and comfortable and the view from the balcony was stunning, only topped by the view from breakfast! Breakfast was nice, lots of fresh options. Refreshment service near pool is very good and pool itself is big and refreshing. The hotel is on a very steep hill, walk into old town is about 15 minutes which was no problem for us but I wouldn't recommend for people who have difficulty walking unless you would get a taxi back each time! Well worth staying here!

Wonderful hotel! We only stayed for one night before transferring to a nearby resort, and it was a pleasant stay. We arrived late evening with a friendly greeting. Be sure to listen to the instructions and information when checking in - very important! The breakfast was amazing and the view a plus. Would definitely recommend this hotel! George was friendly and helpful.

The pool is not kids friendly as it is deep everywhere. The pool was also quite dirty. The breakfast was advertised to be good but it was a disappointment. Cheap in quality and taste. The positive side is that they offer a parking spot and quite large and comfortable rooms. In general rooms were very clean.

Had a lovely week stay here. Staff were all friendly (especially Georgios). Rooms were modern and clean. Location was within easy walking distance to the old town and port. Pool was nice (little cold this time of year though). Would stay here again when visiting Crete . Thanks!

Guests can enjoy spacious and comfortable rooms with top-notch amenities, including access to a sister property's beach facilities. A perfect hotel, in all respects ❤️🙏 The view to the sea is perfect and the old city is a 2-minute walk away. The staff is attentive, and the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel itself is perfect. Breakfast and dinner are great and varied and the dining room overlooks the sea. We were a group of friends and everyone agreed that this hotel made our vacation perfect

I recently stayed with my partner and we had the most incredible time. The staff are attentive and will go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. The views from the rooms with sea view are fantastic. Highly recommend paying extra for these. We stayed in the deluxe sweet and were blown away by how great the room was. The beach is a short walk away and you can use the facilities at their sister hotel, which is immediately opposite the beach. There are plenty of restaurants brach side and near the old town. The views from the balcony in the deluxe room were so good I decided to propose there! The staff were also great at helping me set up. The only downside I'd say is that the pictures don't do it justice!
Mitchell — Google review
Kyma Suites is a cozy boutique hotel very close to the old town of Rethymno. This is a big plus for fast exploring the vibes of this charming litte town. We liked very much the staff (always smilling, and ready to help). Also, the food was very good. Plenty of choices for the dinner (fish&seafood-grilled or oven dishes; fresh vegetables and fruits; tasty starters and sweets). The breakfast was also very good (poached eggs were great). Keep in mind that this is not a big AI(all-inclusive) hotel, where food quantity prevails over quality! Thus, the effort of selecting and using quality ingredients was present at Kyma, and the food&restaurant experience, in my opinion, is close to a 5* hotel. The room was spotless clean, and the sea view with the small balcony is a must (city view is definitely not so impressive). The size of the room is decent enough, although the bathroom is small (standard double). We expected to be more noise from the city at night, but surprisingly this was not an issue on a sea view room. For the beach, which is a shared one with Kriti hotel, it would be great if the management will consider bigger unbrellas (not much of a shade for the Cretan heat). All in all, Kyma Suites delivers a 4* room experience mixed with a 4-5* restaurant experience. We enjoyed it and recommend!
Iulian Ș — Google review
It's a small hotel but located in the heart of the city, near the nightlife and the beach. All the staff was amazing and we are considering coming again next year.
Radu T — Google review
Had a fantastic three-night stay while we were in town for a wedding. The rooms are spacious and comfy (and AC works well, much needed after spending time on the beach!), bathroom facilities were top notch, and the staff was awesome. You have access to the beach at their sister property just down the road, as well as to the pool at the hotel. Breakfast was included each morning which was delicious with awesome staff, and the bar next door was great for a drink (and for ordering at the pool!). Would definitely stay there again.

Mythos Suites Boutique Hotel is a charming retreat located in the heart of Rethymno, housed in a 1500s building. The hotel offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms with private balconies and small kitchens, along with access to delightful breakfasts. Guests can relax by the small pool in the garden courtyard or explore the nearby town hub. For those seeking a more traditional seaside experience, Bali provides crystal-clear waters and quaint villages.
Mythos Boutique Hotel was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. We stayed in a duplex suite, nicely furnished with a terrace, perfect for a glass of wine in the evening. The staff of the family run hotel gave us great advice on short trips to the neighboring villiges, great restaurants and places to visit on our upcoming trip to athens. Sandro and Tin

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Rethymnon The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect – right in the middle of the old town of Rethymnon, with everything within walking distance, including the beach. The hotel itself is full of charm, beautifully styled in a Venetian way that adds to the whole experience. Our room was lovely and full of character. One of the highlights was the small courtyard with a pool – such a peaceful spot to relax after exploring the city. But what truly made our stay special was the service. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful – some of the friendliest we've ever met. You really don’t find that level of hospitality in many places. Highly recommended!

If I were to describe my perfect Greek place to stay, Mythos Suites Hotel in Rethymnon would be it. Charming secluded garden courtyard oasis, in a Venetian building in the heart of the old town. We stayed in a duplex room, whilst our teenage daughter and her friend shared a slightly smaller room. Both were delightful places to stay. Comfortable, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Each with an outside seating area overlooking the pool. Eirini and her staff were so friendly and helpful, sharing their local knowledge and really caring for our happiness. Finally, the locally-sourced breakfast. Delicious, varied, fresh and tasty. We couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you.

A gorgeous small hotel hidden away in the old town of Rethymno. The staff are lovely, and Erini does a wonderful job of host. Her recommendations for restaurants and trips were spot on. The rooms and hotel are very clean, the breakfast is generous and locally sourced where they can. If you like friendly, local businesses then you will love this place - we did and will be returning ! It is an oasis of tranquility with caring staff.

Great location, just in the center, close to restaurants, beach, shops and everything you need. The staff is absolutely lovely, the experience they offer is so genuine. The breakfast is freshly prepared every day with lots of tasty options. Thank you for this experience!❤️

The property is beautiful and in the center city, but in the rooms it's very quiet and peaceful. The AC worked fine and showers had no problem getting warm water. It's family run and everyone is very nice, friendly, and helpful. There is a nice breakfast. There is parking nearby but you will have to walk a little bit with your luggage. Our room was perfect size for 2 people, there is a very small kitchenette inside if you need it.

It’s a shame I’m only allowed 5 stars for this, because it’s off the scale. The rooms are quite extraordinary, with thick stone walls and with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The staff are just incredible, going out of their way to help on any way they can. The restaurant… eat here. Just do it and tell me I’m wrong later. The food defies superlatives and the service is simply the best. If you want a drunken, leery nightlife, then stay away. Even at peak times this town is soooo chill. Busy, but never rowdy.

Room is spacious but ironically, the shower cubicle is tiny. The interior finishing needs to be updated as they are visibly old. Not 'old' as in old world charm but old. For example, the curtain tracks were stuck and prevented the proper opening of the windows. The hair dryer that was attached to the toilet also had a "Not Working" sign pasted onto it. Almost all hotels in Greece uses their local produce for toiletries but the hair and body shampoo for this place are imported from China... Will leave the reader to figure out the reason :) One of the windows open to the courtyard where the restaurant is so some noise can be heard even with the windows closed if there are diners. But the level is not loud to be disturbing. Restaurant closes at 12am with some guests staying later than that occasionally. About 200m to the harbour so it is centrally located with restaurants all around. The 2 ladies manning the reception were helpful and knowledgeable. If you're a guest at the hotel, you are supposed to get a 10% discount when dining at the onsite restaurant, but it was not extended in our case even though we asked for confirmation. Details in the review of the restaurant separately.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the Old City, and the location is excellent. If you're arriving by car, keep in mind that vehicles are not allowed inside the Old City, so you'll need to walk about 5–10 minutes to reach the hotel after parking. You can email the hotel in advance to ask about parking options — the detailed information they provide about free and paid parking is very helpful. The rooms are authentic and functional. It's a nice touch to have a fridge and a kettle. It would have been better if there were one or two more hooks on the bathroom wall. I really liked the hotel toiletries; they were all made with olive oil. On the first day of check-in, they offer a welcome drink with a choice of Aperol Spritz, wine, or beer — a very nice gesture. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. The hotel’s restaurant is lovely; the food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Breakfast had a good variety, but the same options were served every day. After staying for four nights, we were hoping for some variety. The taste wasn’t particularly impressive. The bed was small and narrow for two people, too soft and not very comfortable — we didn’t sleep well.

Loved this tiny hotel. It’s 600 years old and used to be a monastery, so it’s very tastefully decorated in an Old World style. It’s on a charming narrow alley with greenery hanging overhead. They offer a welcome drink. We had no intention of having dinner here but we looked at the menu while having the welcomed drink and the menu was amazing. We had the lamb and cheese in pastry and the vine leaves stuffed with lamb. And they even gave us 10% off since we were staying there. But back to the room. It was huge. It had a hair dryer and plenty of places to put your luggage. The view from room 109 was of the fortress and a charming courtyard restaurant below with a gurgling fountain. Since it’s a restaurant below there is noise but it was minimal and the fountain overrode the restaurant noise. We were exhausted and went to sleep at 9 with the window open and the noise wasn’t a problem. The fountain was turned off at some point and it was very quiet. The fountain was turned back on at 7 a.m. I really loved the white noise from the fountain. The bed was king sized, medium firmness. There is a safe but it’s too small for computers. The receptionist was very friendly as was the waiter. We highly recommend this hotel. We were only staying one night so we parked at the Fortessa Parking Lot 20 euros for 24 hours. There are cheaper parking lots a bit farther away. Ask and they’ll send you a list of parking lots.

My wife and I stayed at Veneto in September 2024 as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is located in the perfect part of Rethymno, easily accessible from both parking and the restaurants along the harbor. The property was beautiful, and all the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were nice, although the shower was rather small and the beds could probably use an upgrade. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed our experience. We also enjoyed a wonderful wine-tasting at Veneto, which was a relaxed experience led by Venteo's sommelier, Rafael, and his protege, Daniel, who were both wonderful and knowledgeable. Our tasting included paired food, which was all delicious. Our personal favorites were the Cretan tomato jam and cheesecake.

Very disappointed with the hotel. Looks nice from the photos and from outside. Hitel grounds look nice but the room itself is old and not that nice. Hotel staff is polite and helpful, however the hotel room is poorly maintained and not well maintained. Housekeeping also doesn’t seem complete, with no vanity items(eg cotton pads) at all, and water is also provided only on first day despite staying for 4 nights. Window catch is also spoilt so the window cannot be totally sealed. Worst is the lack of integrity…feel cheated as the hotel said that 10% discount will be provided to hotel guests who dine at their restaurant (called Veneto Restaurant). When we dined there, we had made reservations beforehand and though the service seem Pleasant and friendly, no discount was given. We asked once while Paying the bill and were told that discount was already given. However we were not given a proper receipt, only had the total Amount on the receipt with no breakdown. When we asked a second time, for the actual receipt with the items we ordered (instead of just a one-liner total), the waitress told us that she has thrown the receipt away and is not able to generate a copy for us. She asked us why we needed it and we thick-skinnedly explained again that we thought no discount was given to us. Again, the same waitress assured us discount was already given. We paid the amount as charged anyway but computed the bill on our own and realised that we were not given the discount, despite us asking twice and the restaurant confirming twice that they already did. The next day, we brought this up to the hotel staff who said they will check but nothing was done. The 10% discount is minor but it’s horrible to “cheat” hotel guests and also, make the guests feel so bad to have to keep asking about the discount. I definitely don’t like to be treated this way and feel very disappointed with this hotel and the restaurant. Will not stay again and will not recommend this hotel and the restaurant. Update post response from hotel: Though hotel’s response is that the hotel room was fully renovated this year, I want to clarify that it really does not appear so as the window facing the courtyard cannot be closed properly (latch is spoilt) and the bolted hair dryer is not working. Have attached a photo.

The Atrium Ambiance Hotel in Rethymnon, Crete offers a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable rooms and suites. It is conveniently located just 100 meters from the largest sandy beach in Crete. The hotel features an outdoor pool with a poolside cafe and bar, perfect for unwinding. Guests can enjoy two restaurants and breezy bars on-site. The air-conditioned rooms come with private balconies, satellite TV, and en suite bathrooms.
It was our first all inclusive trip and Atrium was a very good choice. Excellent hotel which we recommend to anyone who likes quiet environment, respectful guests and true chill & relax. Hotel reception service was 10/10, helpful and facilitating our workspace, and the same with an amazing hotel Manager. Very tasty food, every day different & multiple choice, a lot of traditional Greek meals which was important to us. Sparkling clean, comfy rooms. The only thing not comfy was bed (subjective opinion - was too soft). Beautiful pool space. Quiet. Everywhere so quiet, we loved it!

This hotel had a great location; it was close to the beach and shops. The food was good on most days but I did find the sausages at breakfast occasionally a bit odd. There were some sausages that were a bit mushy and boiled - odd texture. But the French toast and pancakes were nice. I had some excellent dinners too; I particularly enjoyed the gyros, moussaka and the meatballs. The other thing that could have been improved was the cleanliness of the pool. The first day it was okay and then a few days later it was green and cloudy. It was so gross. It did get cleaned but it meant the pool was out of use for a whole day. Overall, the hotel was nice, great location and the staff were lovely too.
Jo C — Google review
We stayed for 4 nights and were very satisfied. The food was delicious, and there’s a lovely promenade that takes you straight to the old town. No need to rush in the morning to reserve sunbeds — they were available at any time of the day. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming.
Arda B — Google review
A lovely hotel in a good location. Very clean and very modern, only criticism is the pool is very small and is in the full shade for the majority of the day. We came in the beginning of July and although it was very quiet and no fight for a sun lounger I have no idea what it would be like in busier times. Literally a 30 second walk to beach and 20 mins into the heart of the old town but there are bars, shops and restaurants all the way along the beachfront so no need to walk the full way if you don’t want to.
Niamh S — Google review
We arrived at the hotel early in the morning after an overnight journey. There was a minor misunderstanding at reception regarding breakfast access, but this didn’t affect our overall experience in any negative way. We later had a calm and constructive conversation with the receptionist, and we truly appreciated the management’s openness to making things right. The hotel manager personally got involved and, as a gesture of hospitality, we were offered a wider selection of lunch options along with complimentary drinks – a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. We also appreciated the responsiveness to technical requests – for example, a shower head was replaced within just a few hours, showing great attention to guest comfort. Overall, the staff showed professionalism and a genuine desire to ensure a comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with well-managed services and a team that truly listens to its guests.

We spent 10 days here in July. Hotel is very clean and modern. Staff is very very kind from the moment you walk in! Location is perfect, close both to the beach and old town (and bus stops in case you want to use it). Two nights in a week there is greek night at hotel bar, which is very interesting and funny. Rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfy. We had some troubles with air condition since from time to time it took a big longer to start working. Also it can get very hot and steamy in the bathroom. Those are only two downsides. Food must be specially mentioned, selection is wide and everything is very delicious and always fresh. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in this beautiful city!

Nice facilities and good food. Nice evening band playing in its bar alongside the very nice pool. While investments were clearly made, the room we gor was catastrophic organized. One closet with some hangers and inside we had the fridge and the safe!! Really no room to unpack. We had our suitcases open on the floor for the whole stay. The walk-in shower very large and next to it a 40 cm sink with no room to hang cosmetics etc opposed to the sink plenty of room where few shelves could have been installed. Pity for the investment which provides no functionality for the stay. Nice and large terase though! Kind and helpful staff all around the property.

The hotel was exceptional. The staff was very kind and polite, everything was very clean, and the food was excellent. We had a great variety of food every day and we were more than satisfied (we had half board), the system is similar to all-inclusive but with only two meals. The atmosphere was like a dream

Kriti Beach Hotel is a modern beachfront resort in Rethymnon, offering breezy rooms and suites with stunning sea views. The hotel features two restaurants, a pool, and a bar for guests to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Situated just a short walk from the Venetian harbor, this five-star hotel provides easy access to the pristine beach awarded for its cleanliness and crystal-clear waters.
Probably one of the best location in Rethymnon. The hotel has its own high quality sunbeds on the beach for their guests. There is only a small pool, but who needs a pool when the beach is 50 meters away? Short walking distance to the old city. The hotel also offers a inside pool and a fitness room. We also enjoyed a nice breakfast every day. A cook serves you omelet or other dishes if needed to breakfast. We had a room with ocean view. Unfortunaly, the trafic is quite noisy during the day. This reduced our use of the balcony.

The hotel is wonderful! The service is excellent! The service at the reception, in the restaurant, and on the beach exceeded all expectations! Everyone is so kind and friendly. The rooms are tidy and clean! The hotel’s sunbeds and umbrellas are great! The location of the hotel is perfect! The beach is right across the street, the port is 3 minutes from the hotel, and the old town is 5 minutes away. The food in the restaurant is excellent. So many choices every day for breakfast and dinner. Everyone can find something they like. The balance of price, quality, and the feeling of luxury in this hotel left me speechless. A big thank you to all the hotel staff, and I hope to see you again!

First time visit to Rethymno and The Kriti Hotel. Fab resort and hotel. The hotel location to the beach can not be faulted with beach free sun lounges available to residents. Restaurants and bars are also nearby. The breakfast was superb and catered for all needs - we only booked B&B, All the staff are wonderful and work very hard to please. This is the hotel's greatest asset. Well done The Kriti and kudos to your staff. We will look forward to returning with no doubt.

Kriti Beach Hotel is special compared to many places we have tried; good service, personal friendliness, comfort, good restaurant, location, beach etc. When we checked in for a two-week stay, we got a nice room, but we wanted a slightly bigger one. Without problem we were (for an acceptable price) upgraded to a suite. The stay was a little adventure with the wonderful staff. Thanks for it including many positive handovers!
Knut J — Google review
A tidy and pleasant beachfront hotel close to the old town. Very nice breakfast with a good variety of high quality local produce available. The hotel staff is genuinely friendly and always eager to help. The awarded beach in front of the hotel is very clean and easily accessible. Also the sea in the beach is crystal clear, which is almost unbelievable! Provided with the hotelroom you have free access to beach towels, sunbeds, shower and changing rooms just in front of the hotel. There is also a minimarket next to the hotel, basically in the same building. Staying in this hotel you can easily combine relaxing beach holiday with shopping and eating in the various shops and restaurants, since the hotel is so close to the heart of the city. The gym in the hotel is compact but still offers a chance for a decent workout with Technogym eguipment. There is also a sauna available in the gym/spa department downstairs. Very nice hotel indeed, easy to recommend for anyone!

I recently had the pleasure of spending ten delightful days at Macaris Suites & Spa, a stunning retreat just 2 km from the vibrant center of Rethymnon. Our family was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious two-bedroom suite, perfect for accommodating my tall son without the hassle of a sofa bed. The suite featured a well-equipped kitchen, a luxurious bathroom complete with a spa bath, and even an en-suite shower in one bedroom.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite some minor flaws, the hotel is clean and well-maintained. I think the price is also reasonable. Despite appearances, it's close to the Old Town, even though the hotel isn't centrally located. There's a small, intimate beach nearby, perfect for children. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. If you want a sea view, ask for rooms from the 5th floor up. The food was very good. I highly recommend this hotel! Greetings from a Polish family with kids :)

Lack of enough sunbeds for every guest makes the whole experience pretty annoying. Not much space around the pool and one can sunbathe only if the people nearby decide not to open their umbrellas. Pool area infested by ants. Th pool area is also pretty small and a couple of kids playing are more than enough to disturb the peace and quiet. Better choosing and "adults only" hotel.

Early May stay at this Hotel was perfect. A very clean well maintained hotel with large very well appointed rooms. It was nice a quiet and the weather was perfect. The service and staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Rethymno is a 20 to 30 minute walk, our friends stayed in the town but but preferred having a pool and being just out of town. Highly recommended and I would not hesitate to return.

Had a fantastic time at Macaris. The rooms are very spacious and we had fantastic views. The pool is great, but if the hotel was busier, would struggle getting poolside lounges. Breakfast is also very good. Fantastic view from the rooftop restaurant, too. Overall though, it was the staff that made the stay all that much better. Everyone was so friendly. Particular shout-out to Pannayotis, who was just wonderful. Thank you everyone!

Staff is incredible. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The front desk helped us book a day-trip (5 hours) to Chania and a wine-tasting private tour. They were happy to take our postcards too (stores that sell postcards also sell stamps which is very convenient). The wait staff at breakfast worked non-stop bringing replacement dishes and clearing tables. Maintenance fixed a broken window promptly. There's always someone sweeping and cleaning. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with many choices and good quality local foods impeccably presented. Our rooms was bright and clean. Beds are comfortable. Shower is hot with good water pressure but water sprays outside the bath. Separate toilet and sink in the entrance and a well-equipped kitchen. Large covered lanai with a dining table and sofa and chairs. Plenty of closet space. When we returned from breakfast, house-keeping had already made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms. We booked a bus tour and breakfast was brought to our room the evening before to store in the fridge so that we had breakfast to take with us the following morning. There was water, wine and fruit for us as a welcome when we arrived. The room includes a full kitchen with a coffee maker and coffee which we enjoyed each morning. The walk to the beautiful old town (we prefer Rethimno to Chania) takes 20 minutes. It's possible to avoid the rather busy main drag and walk either along the sea front or by turning right immediately in front of the hotel and walking back streets (very safe) to the Municipal Park. Minor critiques: exterior maintenance could be improved, a larger TV in the living room for when the weather is inclement.

The hotel's prime location allows easy access to the nearby beach, museums, cafes, and nightlife.
We loved this hotel. Our room was spacious and we had a balcony to sit on after the sun retreated. It was lovely sitting by the pool area. We appreciated its central location. Would gladly revisit.

The location in the old city is perfect. The hotel garden and plunge pool is an oasis in the throng of the old city. The shops, tavernas, bars and ice cream parlours are within seconds from your front door. The hotel is small and friendly with attentive and helpful staff. The rooms are large but a little dated. The bathroom is tiny in comparison to the rest. The garden provides tables and sun loungers and is the location for breakfast.

It’s in the city centre. The staff was really polite, friendly and helpful. A woman named Anna that was working in the front desk was really friendly and kind. The hotel rooms are really cozy. The pool is great but a little small. The breakfast was really good with a lot of options. Great hotel. 10/10 over all experience.

The hotel's location allows easy exploration of the city's sights, being within walking distance from many attractions. Guests can also enjoy recreational activities like renting bicycles or simply taking in the view from the terrace.
I had a great time at Neratze Hammam Suites. The hotel is very beautiful and full of history. It’s in the old town, so you can walk everywhere—shops, restaurants, and the harbor are all very close. My room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I loved the design and the special feeling of the place. It’s not like a normal hotel—it’s more personal and unique. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. They gave me good advice about what to see and do in Rethymno.

We stayed at Neratze Hammam Suites and we had a mixed experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic-situated close to restaurants and making it easy to explore the area. However we were quite disappointed with the room itself. Upon arrival it was clear that the room had not been cleaned properly. There was dust and hair everywhere and the bathroom had a weird smell. On our first night, we even found a cockroach outside our door and had to kill it ourselves. Moreover, the room did not match with the photos provided online. It was significantly smaller. This discrepancy between the advertised images and the actual room was quite misleading and disappointed. Additionally the room had high ceiling with a small air condition that didn’t provide the desired coolness, making it uncomfortable to stay. The check in and check out process was not also smooth. Despite informing the hotel of our arrival and departure details, there was no one at the reception desk when we arrived or when we were ready to leave. Our room was up 10-15 steps, and no one ever asked if we need help with our luggage, which was quite inconvenient. We hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes necessary improvements.

This is definitely the best hotel in the region. It's new, very modern and you can find everything you need in the rooms. I was and strongly recommended the Jacuzzi room. Reserve it by phone or at the place ;) The room has a separate toilet and bath. The balcony is big even with the jacuzzi there and the view is great. In fact, I almost didn't use the beach. The staff in the restaurant is great and also the barman. I can also say very good words for Katerini from the reception. The only bad word which I can say is the organization of the administration staff. I wanted to stay at least two weeks, it was possible they organized that but we didn't agree and I left after a week. It's a friendly remark. For sure I will come again here and even make this place as a base hotel in south Greece so please next time I don't want to misunderstand the reservations. In conclusion it is a great hotel and I strongly recommend it!

We stayed at Bio Beach Boutique Hotel in Rethymno some time ago, but the experience has stayed with us because of a few serious issues. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-located, and most of the staff were incredibly kind and professional. The bartender in particular was always friendly, welcoming, and one of the highlights of our stay. However, several moments during our stay left us uncomfortable and disappointed, especially given the price of around €3,000 for one week. One evening around 6:30 PM, we were taking a nap after a long hike. Someone began knocking, but before we had time to get dressed or respond, they unlocked the door and came into our room. I was half-asleep and only wearing a T-shirt and underwear when a man walked in, saying he was there to check the jacuzzi. We had not been informed that anyone would be entering the room, and there was no call or message from the front desk beforehand. This was a serious violation of our privacy. I cannot imagine how terrifying it would have felt if my husband had not been there and I had woken up alone to a stranger in the room. Another issue was the elevator, which jolted extremely hard while we were using it. It felt for a moment like the cable had snapped. When we informed reception, they casually said it happens sometimes. We later learned that other guests had also experienced this. If a safety issue like this is known, guests should be warned at check-in. We also felt uncomfortable with how staff responded to us using the Do Not Disturb setting. We are night owls and often used the jacuzzi at night, then slept in. Since we were only there for a week, we didn’t need daily cleaning. Still, we felt judged by the staff for our sleeping habits, even though using the privacy setting is part of what the hotel offers. The hotel has a lot of potential, and the friendly staff made many parts of the stay enjoyable. But the lack of communication around room access, safety concerns, and respecting guest boundaries left a lasting negative impression. These issues should not happen at a hotel in this price range.

Had a lovely stay. Clean rooms, big comfortable beds. Amazing housekeeping staff, helpful and friendly. The receptionist was very welcoming. Barman was extremely helpful. A really good work team that contributes to a good atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch, and breakfast staff did a fantastic jobb Even when it became hectic, they were still calm and friendly. Nice age combination of staff members. A family feeling where all the staff pitch in when help is needed. A little hotel with a big welcome. Clean hotel. Good flushing system. Modern. Ending the day in the jacuzzi was a big plus. Definitely a hotel to go and visit.

Excellent hotel 👌Very nice and modern interior and wonderful rooms with a view of the beach. You can even open and close the curtains with the push of a button! The restaurant of the hotel is very good, but might not offer a lot if you're vegetarian (if you're staying longer). Of course there are some very nice restaurants in Rethymnon in walking distance. The staff is just the loveliest and very friendly 🫶 I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want to visit Crete and the beautiful old town of Rethymnon.

The hotel is a brand new one with perfect location and super close to the beach. The view from the balcony was amazing. The stuff was really nice and polite every time, also the food and cocktails were good and fresh. The only minus is that the coffee for breakfast is absolutely awful and you have to pay for real espresso. Also the fire alarm woke all the guests up in 6.00 a.m, because of some sensitivity in the system and without any reason, which was a real shock and stress for us, because we were asleep!

We went to Veranda Rossa for a week in October and had a truly wonderful time. The apartment is stunning and newly renovated and is located in the picturesque old town of Rethymno. A free car park is available at 1 min walk from the flat, which made things really easy after a long trip. We were treated to a welcome bottle of wine and to traditional Greek breakfast, which was plentiful and varied each day. The staff were really friendly and helpful and gave us useful advice about places Extremely recommended!

Our family spent 4 days at Veranda Rossa Suites. Location is perfect and the rooms are fully equipped. We’ve had an issue with our room. Probably because of humidity there was such an intense smell of mold that we’ve had to sleep with door & window open. Hopefully - as the owner ensured us - this will be fixed soon. Other than that we’ve had a pleasant stay!

The best place we booked in Crete. Very nice and functional apartment, the building is really charming, in a cute and quiet part of the old city. Irini the receptionist was so nice : welcoming, helping, funny and she made great breakfast with fresh orange juice and fruits every morning.

Nestled just a short stroll from the charming old town of Rethymno and mere steps away from the sandy shores, Theartemis Palace is a delightful 4-star hotel that promises an unforgettable stay. This vibrant lodging features comfortable rooms and suites, complemented by a refreshing poolside bar and a well-equipped gym. Guests can indulge in delicious buffet-style meals at the on-site restaurant, ensuring every dining experience is satisfying.
Having just got back from this hotel, we already want to get on a plane back. We arrived at the hotel at midnight and were greeted by the front of house staff with refreshments. The check in was simple and hassle free. Upon arrival to the ‘superior suite’ we were blown away with the room, very luxury and the bed was super comfortable too. There was plenty of room for our belongings, and a lovely balcony with a sea view which we weren’t expecting. We never had to fight for a sun-bed around the pool which was great, we’ve never had this before in any hotel we have stayed in. It was my birthday whilst we were away, we ordered room service breakfast which was 10/10, definitely recommend the pancakes! We were also greeted with a complimentary bottle of champagne which was an added bonus. The staff here are amazing, and I wish we could thank them 100 times over, they really made our stay extra special. The food and drink here is also superb, they don’t go light with the alcohol, and the breakfast selection in the mornings were great too, we were very impressed with the Heinz beans!! The location was fantastic, we only had bed and breakfast but there were plenty of restaurants a few minutes walk away along the seafront. We will definitely be back and have recommended to family and friends already. Thank you

I was in Rethymno for a wedding and Theartemis Palace was suggested as one of the resorts to stay at. I am so glad I stayed here. When I arrived, I was greeted with a delicious welcome drink. As I was checking in, to my excitement, I was informed I had been upgraded to a suite located in their second building. The room was huge complete with a balcony overlooking the town and water, and was able to experience my first sunset as I was settling in. The amenities on site are wonderful, buffet style dining for dinner and breakfast, entertainment including a fire and acrobatics performance (amazing), three pools on site, and a newly renovated gym that I had to myself almost every single day. As an avid gym-goer this more than met my needs! All of the staff are incredibly helpful and eager to make sure my stay met or exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
Emma R — Google review
We stayed at Theartemis Palace in September and had a wonderful holiday. The service was the best thing about it, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was good and varied, with some bits changing daily. We had bed and breakfast so went out everyday for dinner - it is close to many good restaurants and a 20min walk to the old town. We also had a massage which was great. Improvements: 1. From the pictures it seemed that the indoor pool was part of the spa. This was not the case and it had loud music playing all day. I think they could make this area and the smaller outdoor pool into a relaxing, quiet area and it would be used a lot more. I couldn’t even focus on reading a book by the pool as the music was so loud. 2. The breakfast buffet had no fresh fruit juices and only 2 fresh fruits, the rest were tinned fruit emptied into a bowl. This was disappointing to me as Greece has so many delicious fresh fruits. Also the cakes did not look homemade. 3. The sunbeds get busy early. On two days we could not get a sunbed by the larger pool and had to go by the smaller pool on the other side of the road (with the loud music).

A Stay to Remember – Treated Like Royalty From the moment we arrived, the level of personal attention and warmth from the hotel staff was absolutely unbelievable. Every interaction felt genuine, and the team went out of their way to make us feel more like family than guests. It’s rare to experience this kind of social connection in hospitality — truly top-tier service. The highlight of our evenings was the à la carte restaurant, where we were treated like royalty. Every detail, from the impeccable presentation to the depth of flavor in each dish, was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but beautifully crafted, and the staff made sure every meal felt like a special occasion. And then there’s the pool bar — simply stunning. Whether you’re sipping a cocktail under the sun or enjoying the view in the evening glow, it’s the perfect place to unwind. The ambiance, the service, the drinks — everything was just right. This hotel exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for a place where you’re truly seen, appreciated, and pampered, This is it.

I cannot recommend what a wonderful stay we had and have to say the staff were just incredible and so personal for a large hotel. We travelled with a 1 year old and they were so welcoming and accommodating to our child. The restaurant staff were warm at every meal and entertained my child in the most welcoming way every time and the buffet selection was excellent. They had a lovely little drop in kids club where the lady was so professional and amazing with all the children and the pool bar and facilitates in the main building we’re really nice with a good food and drink menu. We stayed in a newly renovated room in the main building which was modern and fresh and had a great size balcony with a side view of the sea, the hotel was very clean throughout and cleaners so helpful. The second building was nice to go to for those that wanted a shallow kids pool and indoor pool when the sun is very strong as the other pool has sun all day long. The treatments at the spa were best in class but areas of the other building are still to be renovated. Old Town is only 25 minutes walk away and there is a great supermarket 2 minutes walk away with more shops and restaurants on the sea front. We really loved our stay here and honestly the staff all felt as though they also loved working there too.
London D — Google review
Hotel is few minutes from the beach and main promenade that leads to old town (20 min walk from the hotel), has a nice pool and spa, and restaurant with evening entertainment. Rooms were modern, wonderful, clean, with good air conditioning, fridge and coffee maker. Hotel breakfast and dinner were also amazing with great variety of food every day. Staff were really welcoming and happy to help whatever was needed. We would definitely come here again.
Aleksandra L — Google review
This hotel is definitely not kids-friendly – and every single aspect confirms that. The main issue is the noise: there is loud music every evening until very late at night. The sound and the bass are so strong that it feels as if you are standing right next to the speakers, and it can be heard inside the rooms because the old wooden window frames do not block anything. No amount of white noise can cover it. The worst night was when a DJ played music blasting for four hours straight. Even after addressing the problem at reception, nothing was done. The food is also not suitable for children – there are no options tailored to kids. The soups are extremely salty, and the variety of vegetables is very poor. The so-called children’s pool is tiny, and you can hardly use it with kids. Overall, this hotel does not feel like a proper four-star hotel. Cleanliness is below average. Although they gave us the room earlier upon arrival, it was not cleaned properly, and we would have preferred to wait longer for a truly clean room. The furniture and minibar in the room are outdated and far from what you would expect from a four-star property. In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel for families with children or for anyone looking to relax. The only positive point is that the staff is friendly – but that’s about it.

Had a 10 night stay and couldn’t fault it. Was a bit worried before we came about small pools but it wasn’t an issue as we actually stayed on the beach every day as it was so lovely. The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing they couldn’t be more helpful especially the young men at the reception and the gentleman at dinner. The food was lovely too, one of the best holidays we had. Hope to come back one day.

Stayed in July with my family of three. Food was absolutely exceptional—vast variety of buffet offerings plus themed evenings, local cooking demos and live music nightly. Staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming—I even became friends with some of them. Beach across the road was private and clean; first two rows were chargeable but the rest free and always available. Rooms were comfortable, pools and spa nice, and location just steps from both beach and old town. Highly recommend for families or couples seeking great meals and fun evenings.
Raul — Google review
The hotel is okay, it’s clean, the location is very good, the food was fine. There was about a 10 to one ratio of guests to sunbeds, the tourist tax currently is €15 per night so be warned. It claims to be a five star hotel, at a push, and it’s a big push, it’s four. Rethymno is lovely though.
Mark P — Google review
Not five star but four star. Staff make this hotel. So helpful and friendly. Rooms clean but not luxury. Dining room too small for size of hotel but staff excellent. Great food variety both for breakfast and dinner.
Maire G — Google review
Hotel was located near the sea. Paid for a sea view room but got the sea view blocked by a huge pyramid shaped roof. Rooms were old and the food was not 5 stars by any means. When you went to the beach, the parasols + 2 beach chairs costed €15 per day. Many administrative mistakes too.

We had the best time here. We travelled with my family and their partners. The hotel is absolutely fantastic. The location is brilliant and the food is super. We were all inclusive and it was well worth it. We visited the A la carte as well as the main restaurant and the food quality was amazing, well worth a visit. Rethymno is a fantastic place to visit. I would like to point out how brilliant the staff were, especially Yaseles, Nicolita, Abbe and not forgetting the beautiful Maria. We were treated so well. The only little quibble we had was the bathroom really needs updating. Having said that, it would not put us off from returning and would recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you

Beautiful hotel, clean and good food. A couple of slight negatives - there is very little room to sit around the pools and whilst the rooms are clean and 'nice', I would not describe them as 5 star.

We spent 9 days with our small children (2y and 4y) in this hotel and we have to say that it was an excellent holiday. The food was delicious, every evening was different and themed. The hotel staff, from the manager to the waiters to the cleaners, are the nicest people. I don't know how they choose people, but they really made us feel very good. Stayed in 2024 with my family of three (one child). The modern, very clean room had plenty of space, a small kitchenette, and felt brand new. It was huge, by the way. The hotel feels fresh overall, and staff were friendly and attentive. Food was varied and delicious, with themed nights and special kids' options. We appreciated the children’s pool, heated pool, spa, gym, and evening entertainment. The private beach is just across the road—clean sand, free sun loungers, and drinks served by hotel staff. Highly recommended for families seeking comfort and convenience.

ARCH- quisite HOTEL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a truly exquisite hotel to stay in the Superior Studio Sea View Room with a private pool. As soon as we had checked in, we had every moment with a blast. The private pool is one of the highlights of our stay. Nothing can beat the beautiful sunset sea view from the balcony while drinking and relaxing. The property was well equipped, great facilities and the room was very clean and comfortable. Handy location within a few minutes walking to Rethymnon old town. The communication with the Hotel staff were splendid, interactions was brilliant especially the owner Stelios, very friendly and helpful with the local tips. Do not miss him if you stay in this exquisite family run hotel. You will not regret it.

Beautiful hotel with the definition of Greek hospitality. Great recommendations from this family run hotel! We spent one night here but it was one of the most memorable with a beautiful view (upgraded to a better room!) And great pool, gym, breakfast etc. There is also a natural pool in front of the hotel and an outside 'shower' where you can rinse off. The old town is also a 15-20min walk and it's a very charming city comparable to Venice:)) nice bakeries, bars, ice cream, restaurants etc. Lots of history! Would definitely go back for the amazingly kind staff and gorgeous views as well as clean room with AC of course.

I loved everything at this hotel. The hotel is newly refurbished and I have seen really friendly stuff kept on cleaning every corner of the hotel throughout the day. The pool is really clean and there is a nice small beach outside. You can even see fish near the rocks. There is a really shallow part of the sea circled by the rocks and it is safe for kids to play in. The owner are really friendly and gave us lots of interesting stories and travel advice. We could have never asked for more. We will definitely come back in the future.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was lovely. Felt safe as a solo traveller. The food was excellent breakfast snd dinner plenty of choice. Fabulous greek menu. The cakes divine. Also loved the roof top pool. I'd stay again highly recommend. Service particularly on reception very good.
Lucy B — Google review
A realistic rating for this hotel is 3 stars. The staff is extremely kind and lovely, truly wonderful, but everything is quite small—the restaurant is small, the rooms are small, and I won’t even start on the pool. It’s very tiny, and the water is murky; if there are already 3 people in the pool, you feel uncomfortable getting in. The food is phenomenal, everything in that regard was great. Cleanliness is okay at first glance, but when you take a closer look—for example, the phone on the nightstand is dusty, and there’s a lot of dust under the table on the floor—that’s not good. All in all, the hotel is okay and great for a summer vacation, but because of these flaws, it realistically can’t have 4 stars, only 3. Still, it’s okay. The hotel’s location is great. It’s just a few minutes from the old town, close to the bus station, and a one-way bus ticket is €1.10, which can take you to any beach you want—that’s amazing. In the evening, you can go out to the city and your accommodation is nearby, so the location is definitely a big plus. I would come here again, but I’d really like it to be a bit cleaner.
D D — Google review
The location is good. Close to the old town. If the rooms are next to the street, it is noisy. You have to keep the balcony door closed. But room has no ventilation! It is difficult to find a parking space if you rent a car. Maybe around 800 m. The rooms are okay, but there are not many closets and shelves. There are few trash cans.
Allan — Google review
This is going to be a long one so bear with me as I want to make sure I give a proper representation of this place. For reference, this was me and my friends, both 18 year old females, first holiday by ourselves (without family) and Rethymno was the perfect destination, we felt so safe and welcomed no matter where we went. I just arrived back today after a week at Jo An Palace and this place is fantastic, we were worried when booking as you get the odd review from people who are so picky with hotels and think they’re food critics but this place was perfect. The hotel is gorgeous, everywhere is spotless, we were gobsmacked when we arrived, even more so by the room. The beds were so comfy, the bathroom was perfect, aircon was amazing, even having us too cold at points. The food, I will admit, was hit or miss, this didn’t take away from the total experience, some of the foods where a bit odd for our pallets but when you found a food you liked it was extraordinary, especially the chicken, which was the most soft, tender and moist chicken I’ve ever had. Even when there was the odd food we didn’t like, there was still options for everyone no matter how picky you are. The location was absolutely perfect, little supermarket just across the road great for grabbing bottles of water and other snacks, about 5 minutes away from the old town, 15 minutes from the beach (you can’t swim in that one) but if you walk 10 minutes to right from there, there’s a bigger beach with sun beds, water sports and a bar. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, so much so one evening we had bought a bottle of wine each from the supermarket, forgetting we didn’t have a bottle opener for the wine, but we went to the bar and just asked if they could open it for us and it was no issue whatsoever. Another thing to note was the lunch box, we were half board so just lunch and dinner but if you tell them you’re going on an excursion and might miss breakfast they’ll make you a lunch pack up and bring it to your room which I just thought was so sweet. To conclude, this place exceeded our expectations and we had such an amazing time, as young female women alone abroad for the first time I was a bit nervous but it was a fantastic experience. Thank you Jo An Palace for an amazing stay and thank you to the wonderful staff that made us feel so welcome :)

The rooms were very nice, and the half-board food was amazing with a different selection every night. I was even offered a meal upon checking in late at night. The staff members were incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk to, especially Alex, Maria, and Marlena.

Good location, all staff people were very nice and helpful. Looks like rooms are decorated for the look, not the practical use. Swimming pool was not very clean, there was not shower by the pool. It didn't feel like 4* hotel, hardly 3*. Shower has just little closure, so you cannot take good shower without flooding bathroom. There is no shelf for soap or shampoo. They wouldn't replace little towel in bathroom to be used to step on. Its for whole stay, the same with pool towel. We stayed 8 nights. Wouldn't come again.

Room 408 was great! Very good view to park, old town and sea. Good pool. Breakfast and dinner were good also. Hotel staff was amazing.

I love Certe.I was there twenty years ago, this year, I decided to spent my Summer holyday on lovely island Crete. I booked this hotel by turist agency, and become very disapointed at start. The hotel stuff, and the food was very good, room service also. But, the beach was very bad, with big stones in shalow water, and with big waves ( about 1,5 meters high ). It was very danger, and complicated to get in the see. There is more! Hotel has two little swimming pool, with a hundred gests, who is trying to swim on it, but very unsuccesful! So you have to rent a car, in a local agency, to go to better beaches, which are located mainly in the south coast, and the west coast of the island. There are no animation in the hotel at night, and if it has its very poor! So if you can don't book the room in this hotel!

Such a lovely stay! The hotel, which is within an easy walk from the old town, offers surprisingly spacious room, immaculately clean. Every single staff member was welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a wide range of options. Can't find a single fault. Will recommend this hotel to everyone 👌🏻

Amazing stay, great food, friendly staff, and right on the beach! I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, varied, and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. You can literally walk out and be on the beach in seconds, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax, eat well, and enjoy great service in a perfect seaside location!

Very pleasant staff at the hotel. The rooms are nice and comfy and there is room cleaning service every day, with new towels when necessary. There are also beach towels at the reception, which you can replace every day. The breakfast is nice, with fresh eggs made at your request. You can have a nice view at the ocean, but the street can be quite busy, so if you prefer silence maybe choose a garden view room, or a higher floor. The hotel also has a restaurant which works during the day.

Afroditi Aparthotel is a charming accommodation located just 1.1 km from the Venetian Harbour in Rethymno, close to a beautiful long beach. Guests have praised the owner, Yannis, for his exceptional hospitality and helpful tips on local restaurants and attractions. The central location of the hotel makes it convenient for exploring the town on foot while still providing a peaceful environment.
Perfect mix of comfort, location, and true Greek hospitality What a gem of a find! This charming hotel sits perfectly at the edge of the old town and the waterfront, giving you the best of both worlds. From the moment we arrived, Yannis—the wonderful owner—was there to greet us, help with parking and luggage, and make us feel right at home. His warmth and generosity really stood out, and his tips for dining and sightseeing were spot-on. With beaches, markets, and restaurants all within an easy stroll, the location couldn’t have been better. Our second-floor studio , reached by elevator)far exceeded expectations. Spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped, it felt more like a home than a hotel. The kitchen came fully stocked, with a large fridge ready for whatever goodies we brought back, and we were welcomed with champagne and fresh fruit—a classy touch! The bathroom was roomy too, with the bonus of a washing machine, detergent, and even a drying rack on the balcony (so handy for a longer stay). The bed and pillows? Heavenly. We slept like rocks every night. All in all, this hotel combines comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality in a way that’s hard to beat

What an exceptional experience! The hospitality, value for money and location could not be better. The rooms are extremely clean and well equipped. Everything we needed was provided. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy and refrigerators were stocked with water, wine, fruits, juice etc. Yannis was a warm and welcoming gentleman - the perfect host. Thank you Yannis for everything, we hope to see you soon again! 😊

This was one of the best places we have stayed in. Yannis was amazing - he greeted us, showed us the parking, gave us a map with all the important things to see and do and gave us lovely gifts when we left. The room was great, too - spacious, nice bed. The only thing that is missing is a net on the windows and keep in mind that it is close to the main streets, so it can be quite noisy.

Great Location, Comfort, and Even Greater Hospitality We only stayed here for one night while visiting the city of Rethymno, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect; within walking distance of the beach and right in the heart of the historic center. The beds were very comfortable, and the facilities provided everything needed for a pleasant stay. The authentic interior design of the rooms was also a big plus. Most importantly, the hospitality of Yannis was truly exceptional. We received a lovely welcome, complete with thoughtful gifts on arrival, and even more when we departed. Everything was carefully chosen and meaningful. Yannis is not only an excellent host but also a genuine representative of his culture, with a warm and welcoming attitude.

We have never ever experienced such a warm welcome and nice stay such as at the Afroditi hotel. Yannis, the owner was very generous and kind, always so helpful and friendly to us. We loved the apartment, it was nice, clean and equipped with everything we needed, and with airconditioning in all rooms. The balcony was big with a lovely view at the square with a cathedral. Only a few minutes walk to the old town with many nice restaurants and shops and also easy to get outside the town if you rent a car or a motorbike. We can warmly recommend Afroditi and would love to come back. Thank you so much Yannis for making our stay in Rethymnos to such a great memories!
Annelie S — Google review
Afroditi is one of the best places to stay in Rethymno’s old town. Extremely close to taverns, beach, harbour & bars as well as boutique shops for jewellery & souvenirs. Not only that - Yannis, the owner is an incredibly generous & kind man who was always so helpful and friendly to us. The apartment was very clean & had a traditional feel to it. It was equipped with air conditioning, a washer + general expected amenities and had a balcony which posed an incredible view of the old town.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Big thanks to Yannis, Habib, Seif (if I'm not wrong) & Karima. Its location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old Town—with all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants just a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

AVLI LOUNGE APARTMENTS is a luxurious hotel located in the Old Town, offering elegant rooms and a refined restaurant. The hotel consists of 10 suites housed in renovated Venetian buildings, featuring colorful and romantic sophistication with exposed stone. The on-site restaurant offers a fine dining menu of creative Cretan fare in an intimate garden courtyard, while other gastronomic offerings include a meze bar and a wine bar. Guests can also enjoy the terrace and hot tub for relaxation.
We had an incredible time here! We were in the Blue Room, which as mentioned is above the Irish Pub . This worked for us, as we stayed up late and really enjoyed that pub. Other visitors may prefer the other rooms, which are quieter. Our room was stunning, clean, and very spacious. The breakfast is fantastic! It gives you a great sampling of Cretan foods. We also greatly enjoyed the wine tasting. Nikos, the sommelier, is very experienced and highly knowledgeable about Cretan wines. The dinners were amazing- the restaurant here is the best in Rethymno by far. Everything is very well prepared and with very fresh ingredients. The food feels really healthy, and is so tasty! The staff are really accommodating and helpful . I definitely want to come back and stay again!

It’s a great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. It’s clean and rooms are comfortable, they think about everything. Breakfast in Avli restaurant is a pleasure. It was a great choice to book it here. Thank you Avli team for making our holiday so nice :)

We had a truly unforgettable experience at Avli Lounge Apartments. After celebrating nearby, we lost track of time and realized it was too late to drive back to our hotel (over an hour away). To our pleasant surprise, the wonderful staff welcomed us warmly and provided a beautiful room for the night at a fair price, including breakfast. The rooms are decorated in a historic Venetian style with stone walls and authentic details, fully equipped with everything you need — clean towels, cozy bathrobes, and a stunning interior. It feels like stepping back in time, yet with modern comfort. Breakfast in the garden was magical — surrounded by orange trees, cats wandering peacefully, and the charm of a courtyard that makes you forget what year or century it is. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the whole atmosphere unforgettable. A night here felt like a journey into history, and we are so happy we discovered this gem in the heart of the Old Town. Highly recommended!

Visiting for a second time in three years, we were immediately reassured that nothing of the excellent service and delightful accommodation had changed. Avli’s focus on local products in its restaurants is commendable and sensible given the quality of the Cretan products. The staff’s warmth is genuine. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to return.

We’re so glad we chose this hotel! We stayed for three nights and had an amazing time. The location couldn’t have been better—just a 5-minute walk to the beach and the same to the charming old town. The hotel itself is super cozy and welcoming, and the staff was very kind and polite. Breakfast was a treat every morning, with lots of tasty options, and the restaurant was spotless and just a really nice place to start the day. For my husband’s birthday, they surprised us at breakfast with a massive, delicious chocolate cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We were really touched and appreciated it so much. Although this is a four-star hotel, it qualifies as a five-star one with respect to atmosphere and service. The receptionists, the manager, the cook (of the excellent breakfast) and the chamber maids all make you feel totally at home. I have never felt welcomed to such an extent in a place whose language I barely understand. (Please note that the manager and the receptionists all speak very good English.) The breakfast is outstanding. The rooms (actually, suites) are very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is very small, which is its main drawback, but it’s water is kept very clean, and it’s nice to see the sky and the rooftops while swimming, especially early in the morning.

This was an excellent place for 6 nights in Rethymno. The staff were friendly and very helpful - they knew a lot about the area, particularly Anna and Persefone. Firstly, this is a very well placed hotel! 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the historical old town. As well as being 3 minutes from the busstation that can take you to many places on Crete. The rooms were extremely clean, well kept and included everything one might need (AC, stove, fridge, etc.). We were even shocked to find a bottle of wine generously placed out for us upon entering the room as a welcoming gift. The roof side pool is small, but serves it's purpose well of being a convenient opportunity for a quick dip and a tan. The pinnacle of our experience was the staff. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. On our last day we were departing at 06:45, which was before the breakfast begins. The staff were kind enough to provide us with a smaller breakfast buffet anyways. I highly recommend that you consider this place if you are planning a vacation in Rethymno!

Great location in the old town, walking distance to great restaurants and all the attractions. Rooms are stylish and comfortable. The hotel is in an old Venetian house with gorgeous courtyards where you can relax. Though you can’t park in the old city, there is a nearby lot only a few minutes away. Great location in Rethymno with lots on your doorstep and everything within walking distance. Like others have mentioned, you're not able to park in the old town but the team at the hotel were really helpful in guiding us where to park and came to meet us to help with our luggage. We booked a Junior Suite and the Terra Suite we stayed in was fantastic - nice and spacious, comfy bed, great facilities and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and highlights local produce in their lovely courtyard setting, also cooking eggs to order. The team at the Casa Moazzo are genuinely lovely and gave us some great recommendations that we wouldn't have visited otherwise - they really make it such a pleasure to stay at the hotel. Thank you for a great stay and we can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I spent 3 perfect nights here. The place is run by the kindest, friendliest people. The room we had was extremely spacious and pretty. The hotel itself is also extremely stunning. The breakfast every morning was perfect and delicious. The location is also spot on and a close walk to anything to may want. The parking situation was also pretty easy going, compared to what we’ve seen in other parts of Crete. All in all this was my favorite place during our adventure in Crete and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Everything was perfect during our 5-day stay at Casa Moazzo. The hotel is located right in the heart of Rethymno, yet in a peaceful and quiet spot away from the noise. The rooms were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was both varied and delicious. What truly made our stay special, however, was the warmth and hospitality of the staff—especially Anna. They were all incredibly attentive and made us feel like part of their family, and they did it in such a genuine and heartfelt way. Without a doubt, we will stay here again on our next visit to Rethymno. Sending our warmest regards to Anna and the entire team. 💛 hilal&emre

We stayed in a separate building in the top floor suite. Has a very large terrace overlooking a mosque and a very quiet street. The suite was very spacious and it was lovely to return from the bustling town to the tranquility of this beautiful old renovated house. Each day we had breakfast in the beautiful hotel courtyard filled with flowers. Buffet breakfast with many options, eggs however you like them, local pastries, cheeses, yogurt. All of the staff are so welcoming. Manos and Charlotte are delightful, full of recommendations, tips and very interested in how your day went. They make you feel like you are really at home. This small hotel is ideally situated in the old town yet very quiet. Anna was a great source for the history of the house and Rethymon. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We spent 2 nights in August in this family-run expertly renovated boutique hotel in traditional cretan style. We arrived at 9.30pm and were kindly greeted by the hostess with refreshments. She gave us a map and explained our way around. Since we are a family of four, we were given the spacious suite which was luxuriously furnished. Breakfast was a feast of cretan food. Upon hearing that it was my husband's birthday the following day, our hostess gave us the most delicious chocolate mousse cake on the house. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one. We will definitely recommend your beautiful boutique hotel to anyone visiting Rethymno.

We stayed for 4 nights between 22-26 July. Each one is run by a sweet and friendly family. We were greeted very nicely at the entrance. When they saw that we were tired, they offered us refreshments. The breakfast, the rooms, the environment, everything was perfect. They gave us excellent advice on local and more beautiful places instead of touristic routes. When we left the hotel, I forgot some of our clothes in the hotel room. When we contacted the family, they sent our belongings to Rhodes Island by cargo, covering the shipping fee themselves. I had an excellent stay at this lovely hotel in the heart of Rethymno’s old town. It was the perfect base for exploring the charming streets, and the central bus station was an easy 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to other parts of Crete. The hotel is housed in a historic building but has been thoughtfully modernized, even featuring an elevator to help with luggage. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always happy to share local tips and recommendations, which made my visit even more memorable. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a classic continental buffet that included eggs, sausages, bread, pastries, jams, and fruits. Nothing was too much trouble here, please book this hotel you won't be disappointed.

We stayed the second week in September, our flight had been delayed but still waiting at the door to greet us was Alexandra. She told us we had been upgraded and showed us to our room after providing us with a welcome drink and a pastry . From that moment we knew it was going to be fantastic, I tried out my Greek which was greeted with a smile, so I think I did alright. Breakfast we can say is the best we have had, there was a great choice and it set us off well for the rest of the day. Marco was equally as accommodating and spoke in fluent Greek to me at times as he seemed assured I was OK with this, for the main I was. We cannot praise either of them, the staff or indeed the accommodation more highly and we wished we could have stayed longer. The location for us was absolutely spot on and obviously in the older part of town.

The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the building is beautiful. The location in the old town is perfect (and with a large parking spot nearby). The staff, Alexandra and Marco, made the holiday even better with their lovely personalities and willingness to help and give recommendations - we would give the staff 10 stars if possible. We will definitely go back to stay here! The only downside, and reason for not giving five stars, is the pool area. The backyard with the pool is cozy and what you expect in a town hotel. But the pool itself could really use some maintenance.

Though located in an extremely busy area its quiet, safe and very comfortable. You are located literally 5 minutes away from all bars and restaurants and close by there is taxis and parking. The hosts are very sweet and kind, very helpful and strive to accommodate all your needs. The pool areas feels very exotic and is a pleasant break in the hot weather. Will visit again.

Great location! Old town area charm. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Clean and more than functional, great bargain. We even had a balcony. Staff went above and beyond. Breakfast was better than the more “well known chains” and fresh every morning. They also offered us sandwiches and coffee for take away when we had early am tours booked. Found the best rental car option when we wanted to explore the island. Just book here. You won’t regret it.

Nestled in the charming Rethymno Town, Omma Suites is a delightful beachfront retreat that promises an unforgettable stay. Guests can indulge in a delicious à la carte breakfast while enjoying complimentary WiFi throughout the property. Just a short stroll from Rethymno Beach, this gem features allergy-friendly accommodations and inviting balconies for relaxation. During my recent visit to Omma Suites, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service.
Flawless! Location is perfect, right in the centre of the action. Walking distance is downstairs to the restaurants & bars whilst facing the beach. Extremely hospitable management & a very clean, modern & stylish room.

What an amazing experience. The design was luxury, and the suite was super clean. Definitely we gonna come again in the near future. +++Jacuzzi experience was above our expectations +++
Alexandros D — Google review
It’s small, beautiful and very clean! It was perfect for our first few nights in Crete to be close to restaurants and the beach. The rooms and hot tub were clean. There was very faint music from the city but the portable noise machine drowned it out. The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful. Oh and our room had a mini fridge which was a pleasant surprise

We decided to spend the Greek orthodox Easter weekend at rethymno. We search for a hotel that offers an in suite jacuzzi. After some time of searching we found Omma Suites. They are at the historic old town of Rethymno, everything you want is within walking distance. Nearby there is public parking space that costs 5 euros for the whole day. They inform us, because of the Greek Easter, reception won't be there at our arrival time, but they sent us 3 emails full of details of what we will possibly need in order to arrive at the suites. Everything was explained in detail. So we didn't have any doubt that it will be a single problem at our check in and indeed everything went smoothly. As you will see at the photos, the room had everything you can want. Variety of amenities, free coffee, free tea, free bottle of water. Table with plates, glasses and knives, spoons, forks and even tool to open bottle of wine for example. Many electric sockets , near the table, near the bed in both sides.. usb ports too.. enough towels, bath robes, we had room with view to city.. but they have rooms with view to the sea which is really nice, I had the chance to see one of these rooms before the check out. The only problem we had it was the breakfast, Easter Sunday it is public holiday for Greece. Omma Suites offer breakfast at a nearby cafeteria. Due to a misunderstanding or mis communication between the manager and the owner of this cafeteria, someone didn't inform that it would be close at that day. So when we went to have our breakfast it was closed. We contact the manager of Omma Suites we inform about this situation and after ten minutes, they inform us that indeed because of this special day the cafeteria won't open , but they didn't had any information in advanced from the owner of the cafeteria. So they offer us two things .. first of all it was discount at the price they we had agreed to pay.. plus another discount in our next visit. Last but not least, our stay at Omma Suites was nice, we had a great time there. Despite the breakfast problem, we will definitely come back and this time we will choose the suites with view at the sea and the outdoor jacuzzi

I stayed at Omma Suites for one night in April 2025. The service was truly magnificent: before my stay, I received several emails to ensure everything was prepared, including driving instructions and a list of restaurant recommendations. The check-in process was very smooth, and the receptionist was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. After checking in, there also was a surprise know on the door, and there was the receptionist offering a complimentary bottle of white. Which was a super nice touch. The location was also perfect for exploring the old town. The only thing that kept my experience from being a full five stars was the noise from the restaurants below my terrace. It’s a lively restaurant street, so some loud music is to be expected. However, I was a bit surprised that the sound carried through the windows as I tried to sleep. Another small point: the automatic lights in the shower and toilet. When I got up at night, the lights turned on automatically and stayed on for a while before switching off. The light in the toilet wasn’t a problem, but because the shower has a glass wall facing the room (with only a thin curtain to cover it), the room would light up quite brightly for a number of minutes. That said, the windows had excellent blackout curtains, which otherwise kept the room dark and blocked out the lights from the terrace (which you can’t fully turn off). These were just minor inconveniences in an overall wonderful experience, but good things to know if you're a light sleeper (I recommend bringing a pair of earplugs and a sleep mask just in case). Thank you Omma for an amazing experience, I will be back if I happen to be in town again.

Very very nice hotel!! We went with my husband for 14 of Feb to the room with outdoor jacuzzi. It was amazing! The water in jacuzzi was around 38 deg. Vert beautiful view from the veranda! Highly recommended!
Inna T — Google review
What you see in the photos is absolutely true. The hotel was super clean and the sheets and towels smelled great. The outdoor jacuzzi (which was also very clean and disinfected) was a memorable experience for us, the staff and management were very sympathetic and attentive, accompanying us for our transfer and check-in to the hotel as we arrived on a Saturday night. Although the hotel didn't have a self-service restaurant, there was a restaurant very close by, where we were able to have delicious breakfasts every day. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with easy access to old town, the beach, restaurants and markets with a short walk. We enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend this hotel.

We loved the layout and the location. It's in the heart of old town. Rethymno is perfect for those who have never been to Crete before. Staff are extremely friendly and willing to help in any way. The suite was very clean. Would love to stay here again. The view of the port from the balcony was beautiful. Ideal getway of a couple.

Imagine waking up to breathtaking views of the romantic Old Harbor from your private balcony! This chic all-suite hotel features beautifully renovated accommodations equipped with modern amenities, including full kitchens and spacious living areas. Just steps away from the beach and iconic landmarks like the Venetian Loggia and Rethymnon Venetian Port, guests can easily explore the vibrant old town.
My second time and back again with happiness and relaxation, have enjoyed my wine at the balcony looking this great sea view . Clean as always nice and comfortable. There are stairs going up and that made my feet a bit sore with the hot weather, but the hydro massage by the shower made it perfect 🤩 Thank you and see you next year

Excellent location with views of Old Harbour from the balcony. Picturesque day and night. All the restaurants in the area only play music within their premises so no music disturbance at all. Therefore could sleep even when going to bed early! Apart from a charming ensemble of local young musicians who play for a short time. Very buzzy setting and all restaurants below serve excellent fresh fish. Well worth eating there. The apartment was very clean, good quality bed and had everything we needed. From the main door at the back of the property straight in to the old town. Great for evening walking as everything open 'til late. Beach with loungers 15 min walk. Taxi rank 3 min walk. Would choose to stay here again as location so good. Very friendly and helpful host. Kindly let us leave our bags in his shop as we had late flight departure. As this is an apartment I wasn't expecting it to be cleaned so great bonus that it was.

This cozy accommodation features air-conditioned rooms with complimentary WiFi and a lovely terrace to unwind after exploring. Studio was very nice and cozy and literally on an amazing position next to city old harbour, places to eat and drink, 5 minutes walking away from city center and 10 minutes walking away from Rethymno main bus station. Evi is a great host and answered all my traveller questions with details. I recommend it without hesitation.

Be very cautious: I made a reservation one month ago and on the check-in day they were fully booked with no intention to give me refund! 40 celcius with a family trying to find a hotel in mid August... horrible service!

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful house in the old town of Rethymno!! Very clean and neat!! All distances are short and you cover them on foot. Unfortunately in Rethymno there is a big parking problem, but near the house there are private parking lots that cover you at all hours. Evi, a very kind and willing hostess, helped us with any information we asked for. I highly recommend it and we will definitely prefer it again on our next visit to Rethymno!
