If you’re looking for authentic Indian food, I highly recommend Tikka Nation Restaurant in Dorking. The food is delicious, with a wide variety of options available. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It’s a great place to visit with family or friends to experience the flavors of India.

Very friendly service and amazing food! The loaded fries and Aloo Tikka Chaat were next level, would recommend! And for only £5 on weekdays for our meals, it was such a steal - Thank you so much :)
Jade B — Google review
Me and my friend had an occasion to try some food here. Must say people working there were really nice and helpful. We order quiet a lot of food, dished were served quiet quickly, All the starters were delicious, mains piping hot, the only down hill was a lamb curry which I would of expect to taste bit difrent. But other than that I would recommend this place to everyone.
Aneta ( — Google review
A Family-Friendly Spot with Flavorful Fare Tikka Nation offers a great option for a quick, family-friendly meal. The diverse menu, including unique street food options, caters to a wide range of tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. We enjoyed a delicious meal, with highlights being the butter chicken curry, chicken tikka loaded fries, and chaat platter. The chaat platter was particularly impressive, featuring a combination of flavorful dishes like samosas, chickpeas, and puri-based treats. Our daughter's chicken tikka nan wrap also looked appetizing. While the parathas decent, the naan breads were a bit disappointing, being flatter than expected, the overall meal was tasty and reasonably priced. I would rate this restaurant 4 stars.
Nick P — Google review
The menu features a wide variety of delicious Indian dishes, from curries to flavourful tandoori specials. What sets this restaurant apart is the exceptionally friendly staff, who provide attentive and personalised service, making your visit enjoyable. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Tikka Nation ensures a memorable meal with its great food and welcoming hospitality.

Very enjoyable evening with food that was full of surprises. The decor is more cafe style and menu towards street food. The food was top quality, full of flavour, meat very tender. The menu items include a lot of twists on some original Indian classics. A nice choice of beers including a local Dorking Brewery XPA. Our daughter is gluten free and the waiter had perfect advice on which dishes were safe to eat. He was very knowledgable on dietary requirements.

Visited Tikka Nation in Dorking and had a great experience — warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and quick service. The food was fresh, flavourful, and well-presented, with authentic spices and generous portions. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience worth recommending.
Haritha G — Google review
Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who talked us through the menu and gave their recommendations. Once you've sat down and decided what you'd like to eat you go up to the till to order your food and drinks and then they bring it to your table. The service was very prompt with the food arriving nice and quickly. The food was delicious and I will definitely be going back for more. They have a nice selection of local beers and some wine if you prefer that.

Chicken wings restaurant
This particular KFC branch, located on High Street in Dorking, is well-known for its famous fried chicken served in buckets along with various combo meals and side dishes. Although a first-time visitor's visit was brief, they reported that the service was extremely fast and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Overall, they expressed satisfaction with their experience. However, it is worth noting that at the time of their visit, the KFC App was not functioning properly at this location.
Great food, nice staff, and speedy service. Generally best during the quietest hours of the day. Otherwise it gets exponentially longer to get through.
Jack S — Google review
Order 3 pieces of chicken on just got 2 legs, ordered sweet chilli bites and only got 3 instead of 4 and they were BBQ. Popcorn chicken had a bad taste to it and had to be thrown away and the wrap was dry and tasteless. I figured they would of stepped their game up after it was shut down but it seems this restaurant has gone the other way.
David K — Google review
Shocking place to visit never mind have something to eat in Called in around 5.30ish on Thursday 21st July Not that busy when we were in the queue just a few customers in front The young lady on the Till was very polite and helpful guiding us through the menu We each decided to have a KFC gravey box Food arrived very quickly so we thought that we would eat in as there were lots of empty tables although not all were clean just a couple taken up with school kids in uniforms Can't complain about the quality of the items in the box everything was fresh and hot. That's where the good points end. During our time in the establishment it started to get busy but not really with people eating it was more with school kids and their friends The school kids in uniforms were well behaved From the other lot there was only a few of them who had food and half a dozen plus hangers on The overall general behaviour left a lot to be desired one girl thought it funny to wave a open Tampon in the face of a young boy who was trying to eat his burger, she continued with this behaviour for a few minutes while her friends found her amusing. After a while One young girl left the group walked up the street and returned with 2 large boxed pizza's She sat down with them and was promptly informed by a female member of staff (who looked like she was magement) that she could not eat them in the seated area and at that point the young girl left with a few of the other school kids During our time there School kids were rushing in and out and from what we could hear it sounded like some sort of ongoing conflict between a couple of the kids The member of staff who spoke to the young girl was standing in the staff doorway and was joined by a male member of staff and she appeared to be pointing out and discussing the state of the floor and the tables. The door closed behind them and that's how it was left. We carried on eating and chatting to a young mother who was at the table next to ours with her 2 very young well behaved children who were also having a meal. After the crowd of school children had left we thought that would be a good time for staff to get out and around the seating area to clean and tidy up No we were totally wrong there was only one clean table without scraps of food and rubbish on it and that was taken by a young man who had decided to eat in. Overall not impressed with the management of the KFC and the handling of the school children or the general condition of the tables and the amount of food debris on the floor my quickly taken photographs show part of the general condition including a mayonnaise slip hazard From the photographs it can be seen that the waste bin is full to overflowing and there was only the top of that area where trays with left overs had been placed, to place any waste boxes food etc We spent over 3/4 of an hour inside and at no point in time did any member of staff enter the seating area to either clean the floor or tables The waste bin was already full when we sat down. It just shows how quickly they have returned to not cleaning tables between customers. I will say nothing about the gents toilet the photo says it all The Pandemic appears to be a distant memory.. Until there is a dramatic change this place should be avoided..
Jack P — Google review
After spending £30.00 on food to takeaway, all we asked was that I may use their bathrooms as I am 30 weeks pregnant. Not only was I laughed at by the server for asking, they then said that it was closed. I understand the restaurant being closed but as someone who’s pregnant, I think they should make an exception. Even worse, when I ask for a manager, the server just gossiped with another colleague to then tell me the toilet was broken. It was just plain mean and disrespectful.
Gemma C — Google review
Actually, when I was having my 'lunch' there were only 2 customers in front of me, therefore my food was really fresh and warm when I got it - strange but, there is not a 'Full Fat' drink to be seen in KFC, I'M not impressed - that KFC should decide what I'm drinking
Leif M — Google review
Terrible service rude and nasty the chicken is dry and horrible kfc should just shut down!
Manic K — Google review
Just had this amazing zinger burger! It was so dry it also came with few lettuce leaves🤤 can not forget about the teaspoon of Zinger mayo at the bottom👌 amazing value for only £5.49
Romit P — Google review
Very popular, and very clean. Often has a significant queue and quite a long wait at popular times. The location of this particular branch of KFC is difficult for parking, and can easily result in a penalty charge notice, so you will need to park further away and walk back. Prices seem to go up fairly often, so it isn't as good in terms of value for money as it used to be. Menu choice is very extensive & staff are polite & friendly.

We’ve been a local for a few years now. Today we’ve ordered 3 medium cod and large chips. The cods were thinly battered it was so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Big up the two gents thats got this together. #The best in town.
Malito W — Google review
The bloke inside there gave us a very nice service, he was kind and he looked after us. We was walking down with my Mrs we thought why not grab a cheeky cod and chips. The cod was very tasty and cooked to perfection same with the chips.

Up there with the best lamb shish kebabs i have had. Tender, not over cooked, asked how i wanted it cooked, . Not a generic chilli sauce.

Went there as an American tourist just to try fish and chips and I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. I’ve been back 2 more times and not once have I been disappointed. The fish batter is amazing and the fish is perfectly cooked. The half pounder cheeseburger is incredible especially with their own burger sauce. Also, the family who runs this place is incredibly sweet and the service is awesome. You can tell they put lots of love. Into their food. If I ever come back to England I’m surely going to stop by again.

Wimpy, a well-established eatery chain, offers a relaxed atmosphere and a diverse menu featuring burgers, mixed grills, and comforting dishes. Although some customers find the prices somewhat high, the quality of the food is generally impressive. The burgers are fresh and delicious, while desserts may need improvement as some feel the ice cream is inexpensive and the fudge slightly stale. Notwithstanding this feedback, Wimpy receives praise for its excellent service and promptness in serving customers even during busy times.
The burgers & fries were amazing! And the buns! Simple yet delicious! Didn't get soggy at all! The milkshakes were very creamy and tasty as well. Would definitely go there again!
Vasiliki G — Google review
This isn't really how I remember Wimpy, it was quite dark inside but clean. The food seems so expensive, a burger (no chips), a dessert and two drinks came to around £20. The burger was fresh, tasty and very nice. My dessert was not how I remembered it as a kid, the ice cream was very cheap and the fudge a bit stale tasting. The service was very good tho and food all freshly made. I think it could do with a little make over, the ingredients a little better and it would be a great Wimpy.
Jessica P — Google review
Brilliant food as always. Come from Berkshire every Sunday to get a good Wimpy. The best one around by far. They are also open Sundays which is a bonus for bikers like myself.
Oliver B — Google review
This was my first ever visit to Wimpy and I was pleasantly surprised. Table service that was prompt with food that was tasty, what more can you ask for?
James E — Google review
Visited on a while whilst in Littlehampton. We were a party of 13 so pretty large and upon trying to find seating we weren’t able to and were walking out when a member of staff came up to us to say she would have tables free in 5 minutes which meant we ended up waiting and enjoying a nice meal. Very proactive if the staff
Tom W — Google review
Ordered a children’s meal, didn’t come with the beans which it’s advertised with - apparently you have to ask for those in addition but why would you when the menu says it comes with them. was told children’s meal only comes with chocolate or strawberry ice cream when I asked for the dessert menu - once I left I checked the menu online & there was also a choice of pancakes & ice cream. I feel like the owners are trying to save money on every little thing meaning you’re missing out on items which should be available to you with what you order. Assuming people don’t read the menu correctly they are saving on not giving a portion of beans or the option of dessert choices for every customer! They seemed to be welcoming to what sounded like regular customers but I didn’t get a warm welcoming vibe at all while in there.

Golden Palace is a charming Chinese takeaway that has consistently delighted patrons over the years. With a history of ownership changes, the current family running it has maintained an exceptional standard of quality and service. Diners rave about the freshness of ingredients, with each dish showcasing distinct flavors that tantalize the taste buds. The warm welcome from staff, particularly Susan, adds to the inviting atmosphere as enticing aromas fill the air.
I have been ordering from the Golden Palace for 20 years. The owner back then was a delightful man, as was his son, and every dish I had was perfect. They sold up a few years, and finally the family that own it now are just as lovely, as is their food, same perfect standard as before. I am spoilt with this takeaway, as I'm wary of trying other Chinese takeaways.
Ginny C — Google review
Just got a takeaway from here and quite frankly it's terrible every thing is bland the soup that I asked for spicy is tasteless and looks like dish water, the "special" chow mein should be called chow mean as there isn't anything in it besides a few dry old prawns and some grey meat and dry noodles, the peking dumplings are under cooked and greasy and the lettuce underneath is see thru it's that old! I have eaten here in the past and it's been quite nice but never again!
Timothy G — Google review
We have always used this Chinese takeaway since 2006 and it has gone through about three ownerships in that time. The family that run this takeaway now for the last few years have the best chefs for Chinese food in town as it just gets better and better. All food prepared fresh, tasty ingredients which can be adjusted as they only want to make their customers happy. Usually speedy service though so popular at times there can be a longer wait than anticipated. Worth the wait though, always great Chinese food experience.

Just tried this restaurant for the first time. What can I say it was absolutely amazing, really fresh ingredients you could taste each individual ingredient. Was greeted very warmly by a smiling lady named Susan. The smells filling the shop were amazing and was reflected in the taste whilst eating. Portion size is very large check my last pic, that was left after stuffing myself. I had sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy shredded beef and chicken chow mein, half a container of beef left to! Chicken balls were massive as you can see from pictures and I can assure you filled with chicken see picture attached, about 10 balls in total, sauce was lovely too. Recommend highly, I think you can see it was enjoyable by my empty plate. I will definitely be back. Oh and stated no delivery on the menu that was posted through my door, but as you can see in first pic deliveroo cover Dorking now .give it a go guys...enjoy.

First time ordering, very reasonably priced, however very very salty! We ordered 3 dishes and all of them were extremely over seasoned. We can’t even finish any of them. Very reluctant to order from here again.

Ordered Chicken with cashew nuts in a yellow bean sauce. I got a huge amount of carrot and pineapple in the dish and 4 cashew nuts?? Not impressed. Do not bulk out dishes with cheaper ingredients and more importantly, ones that should not be in there! The manager Ava was very rude towards her fellow employee. As well as that her employee was also very rude towards me. He seemed like he didn’t care and kept acting irresponsibly. The bread was stale and the salad bar looked off. Clearly he wasn’t paying attention to my order as he gave the wrong cookie. He also made me pay twice and accused me and not telling him it was a meal. Not impressed.

i feel repulsed. i asked for nachos and she made me a sandwich so i corrected her and asked for a tiny amount of cheese as i am lactose intolerant. she proceeded to ask me if i wanted spice, i said no. she then put jalapeños and massive handfuls of cheese all over my nachos. this isnt the worst part. i then have to pay for the sandwich that she made, her mistake. i open my nachos in the car to eat them. I FIND A LONG BLACK HAIR. i am blonde for reference and the lady making my food had black hair. i have a terrible relationship with food and this makes me extremely sensitive to any kind of mishap/health violation. i have just had a panic attack and feel i am going to throw up. i am so disappointed.
