There are live traditional Laos music and dance performances every day at 7 pm, so it is best to arrive for this live entertainment. Dishes were tasty with some interesting options that we did not see at other restaurants. Very lively atmosphere and gets very loud inside when full house. Kitchen service was efficient and food came out quickly. Dessert was also done well and great way to finish the meal. Prices are expensive compared to other similar restaurants

Let me tell you about my recent dinner at Kualao Restaurant in Vientiane. Now, I wouldn't normally go for fancy places, but this one was a real treat. It's a bit on the upscale side, but the atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It has this whole traditional Lao vibe, and they even had dancers and musicians performing throughout the night. It wasn't over the top or cheesy, but it added this wonderful cultural touch to the whole experience. Now, the most important part: the food! Let me tell you, it was incredible. They focus on Lao cuisine, and everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. I tried this set menu they have with a bunch of small dishes, and it was the perfect way to sample a bunch of different things. There was this one beef salad with lemongrass that completely blew me away. Honestly, the whole night was fantastic. The food was amazing, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was just unbeatable. If you're looking for a special night out in Vientiane, I can't recommend Kualao Restaurant highly enough. Just be prepared for the bill to be a bit steeper than your average restaurant. But hey, sometimes you gotta treat yourself, right?

This was the most expensive restaurant I went to in Vientiane. My lunch bill was around 600,000+ kip. The restaurant is in a large French colonial home with very interesting architectural look to it. Interior is kept to its original colonial roots with an impressive wooden stairs, high ceiling and tile floors. I had: Duck Larb - that was pretty good. Flavorful and interesting as a dish. Luang Prabang sausage. I tasted great, specially with the chili sauce. River weed - it has the texture of a seaweed snack, but it is made from some leafy vegetable. The taste is subtle. Good to add some crunch to your dishes. Tumeric latte - that was decent. I can’t really pick out the tumeric from the flavor. Rosella tea - that had a stronger, sweeter punch. It was very refreshing. Lemon tea - that was a familiar tastebas south asian. Great for the hot day’s walk outside. I heard of the cultural performance at night, but I was not able to experience that. They do charge that 10% service fee on top of the 10% vat.

This is a good upscale place that serves local dishes but gives touristic vibes just around the corner of Vientiane downtown. The outdoor vibe is good and open, while the indoor ones provide comfortable seating but actually gives a pub-like vibe. The foods really taste good especially the local dishes although the spring rolls were more to the Vietnamese side than Laos style. I’m giving 4 star on the foods in terms of portions. The price are a little not par with the portions. Expect to get a portion for single portion if you intend to share. The staff and service are pretty good as expected of Laoatians. They spoke well in English and actually went out of their way to provide what we wanted and how we wanted our foods and drinks. Reasonable waiting time and not much variety of food options on the menu but enough.

A very good place to have beers and drinks and to have good food. Their Mango Sticky rice was so so, in Prawns fried rice were just prawns placed upon normal rice., someone mentioned same for their Prawns Pad Thai too. Rest everything was amazing. Place had Live music and was great to have dinner while your stay at Vientiane.

This is an amazing place to go especially for Dinner. All the food taste great and authentic. We ordered the fried fish, fried chicken wings, papaya salad, Lao sausage, chicken satay and a vegetable dish. We went on a Thursday night and there is a live jazz band. The singer, pianist, cellist, guitarist and saxophonist are awesome.

The evening ambience of the place was excellent, nice setups with soft music. Their food was however a huge let down. 6 of us ordered 9 dishes - only the pork rib was good. Kitchen team needs to improve!!!

Hotel recommended this restaurant 1min walk away. Upon seeing the menu I already suspected that I won’t get authentic Laotian food - the menu tried to cover everything from Indian to Thai to Chinese to western. The clientele look and sound foreign too. Food ended up tasting much better than expected. The only issue tho, is that the shrimps in pad Thai tastes rather off They accept credit card

Chill Hangout Spot in Vientiane If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe in Vientiane, this place is a gem. Cozy seating, good music, and friendly locals make it a great spot to unwind. The drinks are refreshing, the food hits the spot, and the atmosphere is just what you need after a day of exploring. Definitely one of my favorite places to chill in the city.

A decent place to try homemade Lao cuisine. I tried the daily buffet options - the manager told me they're for locals. I imagine it's typical to get a plate of rice and pick 2-3 dishes out of the 7-8 available selections, but since I'm a tourist he offered me a larger portion served on a plate per dish. Which was not a bad thing because I really enjoyed the fish larb! 😋 The sausage wasn't as spicy or herb-y as I'd expected it to be. Overall I wouldn't mind coming back to try out other dishes.

Good crisp fish with basil and chilly sauce. Other food was also good. I liked papaya salad and the beverage here. The student staff is very good service, kind and made me satisfied. I recommend you to visit here if you want to try Lao food in Vientiane. The price is also affordable, coming from 10:00AM to 1:30PM to get discount for some of meals.

We stopped here for lunch on our first day in Vientiane to try some Local Lao food. Whilst it was not my favourite the food was all cooked fresh and was a high quality. The staff are super attentive and helpful. If you’re looking to try Lao food this place seems like a hit with the locals too

Makphet Restaurant — meaningful dining with a cause. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s a social enterprise that trains young Laotians with valuable hospitality skills. Service can be on the slower side, but it’s understandable and worth the wait given the mission behind the restaurant. I think this is the place we had best food in Laos. My fried fish with sour cream sauce is amazing. Fish smelled so good, and the texture is tender. They cooked with some kind of vegetable that I don't know but it was a perfect match. The sauce is really something. Ask for a drink in a glass if you're drinking there to avoid plastic!

I ordered a red curry with chicken and 20 minutes later got a yellow curry with very low flavor and a tiny portion for 60,000kip. Dissapointing just like most places in this area. The customers of this place seem like local and Chinese businessmen that probably enjoy this kind of lame food.

Good place to sample local food. All dishes we had were full of flavors and in great portions. We ate the Pork spring roll, the Red curry steamed rice and the Khong soup (a vegetable soup). I do recommend all the dishes we had. The prices were were good too.

Nice explanation about Lao Food on the menu. The price is a bit high for what you get, the "small" fried rice with chicken is 25.000 Kip, for that I get a pretty big plate somewhere else. I missed any kind of spice in my rice and didn't get any chili soy sauce like you usually do when ordering this dish. There were no sauce or spices on the table to add to my taste neither. The mango sticky rice was so-so, I wouldn't recommend it since the mango itself wasn't ripe and sour instead sweet. Staff was nice and fast. Place was clean and calm.

So many vegan options there! They serve brown rice, tofu and lots of veggies. Their dishes are usually made out of oyster sauce. I just asked them to use soy sauce instead and they were happy to do so. The prices are really cheap and you‘ll get a great meal for that. I‘ve already been there several times!

I ordered the fish cakes to start and the red curry for mains, both were good but just good. Maybe it was just my choices that didnt give the chef a chance to shine but what I ate was fairly average. Staff and setting were lovely.

Went there on a Friday night, not much to eat, mostly bbq skewers. A lot of smoke, full of locals some by foot some stopping by bike. If that’s the kind of food you like then go for it, it looks better than the other markets in town, but no prices are showed so you might get the tourist price …

Night market with plethora of options from basic noodles to seefood and insects to try. Highly recommend the backdoor atmosphere of this a little hidden market.

Great price for clothes and other stuff. The best thing about this market is - you don't need to waste your time and efforts on bargaining. The prices are mostly fixed and are cheap. Made in China but are good. If you are a shopping girl you would love it.

This place is amazing! Here I ate best duck ever and I have been in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and now Laos. This duck was only 20.000kip (2.34$) and you get half of juicy, delicious, fingerlicious meat with crisp crunchy skin of duck. Skewers for 5.000kip (0.58$), sticky rice, sausages...they have everything. Lical food for čocal people. For me way better then Night Market next to Mekong river where typical tourists go. Btw. Ve sur to take some mosquito repelent, this is also their feeding area. If I could rate with 10, I would give 10!😍😋🇱🇦

Nice place! Open late for the area and they have a decent selection of good quality Lao dishes. Been a couple of times and I will keep coming back and update as needed. Come there after sundown to enjoy the joyful boisterous nature of the locals for the best experience or drop by for a good lunch.

We’re vegans, and when we arrived at this restaurant, we had a hard time explaining that we needed completely plant-based meals. Thankfully, the kind owner stepped in, spoke with the kitchen, and made sure they understood exactly what we were looking for. What we received were the most delicious vegan dishes we've had during our entire stay in Laos — everything was 100% plant-based and absolutely bursting with flavor. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing vegan food.

Finally, a break from rice mountains and noodle jungles. Sticky Finger goes for European pub vibes, complete with Western music that feels like oxygen after weeks of Asian plinking soundtracks. Fish and chips—but with wedges. And honestly? Good call. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, way more bite than sad skinny fries. Fish is fried to golden armor and comes alive once you dunk it in tartar sauce. Chicken Kiev—the deep-fried butter cannon. Crunchy shell, juicy chicken, mayo riding shotgun because apparently one sauce is never enough. Wonton soup—Asia peeking through the curtain, offering a light broth with dumplings, chili, and lime to keep things interesting. All paired with an ice-cold Beerlao, which basically glues this whole cultural mashup together. Verdict: wedges win, music soothes, beer delivers, food comforts. This is Europe hiding in Asia, and it’s worth it. 4/5.

Sticky Fingers — love being back at this place! I had a fun gathering with friends, bringing back lots of old memories. We ordered a ton of food, but the highlight was definitely the BBQ pork ribs — juicy, tender, and full of smoky-sweet flavor that’s hard to resist. To finish off, the passion fruit ice cream was the perfect refreshing dessert to wrap up the night. Great vibe, good service, and still one of my favorite spots for comfort food in Vientiane.

Food was average, massive portions but under seasoned makes you bit disappointed. BEWARE ⬇️ We ordered food that was supposed to come to 335.000 and when received a receipt total was 470.000 they upcharged the fried egg for 15.000 to 150.000 (it was more expensive than the food we ordered itself) after recounting everything and given them the right amount they started to argue when they didn’t see what they did wrong and still tried to charge us 470.000 - disappointed with the whole situation and staffs unprofessional behaviour it was thankfully resolved few minutes later - double check your receipt

A lovely little “home” restaurant that serves yummy Laotian food with great service and a cute sense of humour. Read the front page of their menu, where the “Kip is not worth the money it’s printed on”😅 and because there is a shortage of staff, patrons are encouraged to talk to each other. We had the cherrywood-smoked chicken, flowering mustard greens and Mekong fish. And both sticky rice and black rice. Plus coconut ice cream. We were pleasantly stuffed.

we came here for lunch as I always wanted to try this out after watching it on youtube. it is located inside a retro bungalow, the interior reminds me of my grandma home. the food here is slow-cooked, so don't Please Don't Rush, tasty and flavourful. However, taste is rather subjective as the some of the flavor may be too "jungle" or "herbal" for general taste, especially those expecting it to taste like Thai food. These are very distinctive Lao food, do visit for a new experience !

We enjoyed the experience here with interesting selection of delicious dishes that had nostalgic feel to them. Foods were tasty and flavorful. Staffs were very friendly. The atmosphere feels like you are eating at home.

The restaurant is very small but cosy. Their business concept is hardly commercial: they're open just for a few hours and only three days in a week. They compensate for it serving high-quality local food prepared from organic ingredients in home food style. Their menu is not big, but changing every day. The staff can communicate in basic English. Smoking is allowed in a small backyard where they have a few tables too. You can also buy there a book written by the owners, with recipes from Lao cuisine.

Stayed for 2 nights. Really nice hotel with polite and friendly staff. I'm not usually a breakfast person but I have to say the breakfast here was amazing. There was a large range of buffet type items as well as loads of made to order options.

I have certainly enjoyed my stay at Salana. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were complete and the breakfast was excellent. Front office staff were courteous, and helpful. Location is central to night markets, cafes, mini markets, massage shops. I hope to stay at Salana again in my next trip there.

Good western Quality. After 10 days riding the bike through Laos at very simple remote places - a hotel like Salana is a perfect location for ending up the vacation in Laos. Very luxurious, very comfortable, very good service. Silent and clean. Highly recommended

We stayed one night from 8/8 to 9/8. It was our first day in Laos and this place was the perfect place to kickstart our trip. Every staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was very well furnished and the bed was huge and so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too! Thank you to for the wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this place.

Distance is a bit of walk from the night market and food options. Do double check the number of pax of the booking - we booked a twin room, assuming the price is included for 2 pax, however had to pay additional charges upon checkout as it was price for one pax only.

Good clean food. Very filling and reasonably priced as well. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom. I’ve had the crispy chicken blue cheese sandwich which was awesome. The maple whiskey bacon burger which was also great and a couple of their legit wood oven pizzas. This place is a hidden gem 💎

The bacon cheeseburger was smashing... Update: I've been back a few times and let me tell you the chicken sandwich, BLT w/cheese, and the macaroni an cheese are a must try! I almost forgot the French toast, scrambled eggs and Bacon. I love Tysons. I'm a regular now!

Bit of a mixed review on this one. Kids loved it but mama, not so much. The pizza we ordered was undercooked which meant it was a little soggy. Mama don’t like no soggy pizza! 🤣 luckily she was pleased with her passion fruit shake! The waiter remembered our order without writing anything down. Always adds a little touch of class. I would definitely give them another go and wouldn’t let a slightly undercooked pizza ruin the experience.

Damn! One of the best pizzas I've had anywhere. And I owned a pizza shop in Phuket, Thailand! The pulled pork pizza baked in a proper wood fired oven was spectacular. Perfect crispy crust, plenty of toppings and cheese, good portion for 2-3 people. Outstanding. Service was good as they were a bit busy at lunch. Wish I had taken some photos. Nice cozy location near the riverside, but tucked away enough to avoid the hassle and traffic. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area. Cheers to all for a great experience. Cute little restaurant with a cute terrace for outdoor seating. There’s a giant wood fire oven that warms the entire place up and just invites you in. We got a pizza and burger to share between the two of us and were blown away by how good they were. We also ordered fruit shakes for a little more than $1 each. Highly recommend. I’ll be returning for dinner tomorrow.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza in town as I’m the pizza freak myself. I had 50/50 4 cheese and Lao sausage pizza and it was nice. Price is reasonable.

I recently ordered from Noy's Fruit Heaven in Vientiane via Food Panda, and I was absolutely delighted with my meal! I tried their Fresh Spring Rolls and the Chicken Baguette Sandwich, and both were fantastic. The Chicken Baguette Sandwich was very satisfying – a good portion and the chicken was well-prepared. But the true standout for me, my absolute favorite, were the Fresh Spring Rolls. They were incredibly fresh, packed with vibrant vegetables and herbs, and had that perfect light and healthy feel. The dipping sauce complemented them beautifully. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients they use. Noy's Fruit Heaven is a gem for fresh and healthy options in Vientiane, and their delivery through Food Panda was quick and efficient. I highly recommend giving them a try, especially for those delicious spring rolls! I'll definitely be ordering again soon.

This might be one of the most stylish cafés around this area, often visited by young travelers and locals looking for that perfect Instagram shot. However, there’s currently construction happening in front, which causes a bit of dust. Also, right after receiving my drink, I hadn’t even taken a sip of my drink when someone came over to promote their massage service upstairs… which was a bit off-putting. While the smoothies here are decent, I think you can find other places around the city that offer slightly less tasty but more affordable options.

Good to grab a drink under the hot weather in Laos. The smoothie is healthy with fresh fruit and no extra sugar. The taste is natural with good combination. Satisfactory hygiene as well.

Fresh juice bar that also serves some salads and sandwiches. I had the falafel pita and cantaloupe juice. Both were tasty. However, like so many things in 2025, the pita was more for show than function. All the 5 falafel were on top of the ingredients, so it looked good but you had to eat them first, leaving the rest of your pita falafael-less. Two small tables outside. AS A NEW YORKER, I have searched all of vientiane for good pizza and I didnt like any of them until PDR. THE PIZZA AND CRUST WAS AMAZING along with the tiramisu (and I'm not even into chocolate but the pizza was so good I figured it had to be good also) JUST NEED SOME OREGANO, PARMESAN & GARLIC POWDER on the tables. A man, presumably the owner, was personally overseeing the pizza making and observing customer needs. The ladies serving were also quite nice. The pizzas were inexpensive and delicious, with flavorful chili and garlic oil. The place was small but had a great atmosphere, and it was interesting to see the busy kitchen. However, when it came time to pay, we instinctively assumed the payment would be at the entrance, but it turned out to be in the stairwell.

The chef, an Italian who has lived in Laos for 12 years, is very friendly and adds a warm, personal touch to the experience. Cozy place for good pizza ! It’s essentially a toned down version of Italian Job at Thongkang, but you’re really just here for their amazing pizzas.

Excellent spot. Authentic Italian food & cuisine. Really impressed with both of the meals and the price. Staff mainly friendly bar one older local who could’ve popped a smile once in a while. Other than that, friendly staff and great food.

I had a pizza, mushroom soup, and a white lady cocktail. The food was excellent. The price (regardless of what people are saying about the exchange rates) was totally fair, and even relatively less expensive than what you'd expect for the quality. The cocktail was very, very good. I had two. I had a chance to speak with the operator, and some of the servers. It was a wonderful evening and a highlight to hear more about Vientiane (our tour guide was ok, not great. This dinner was great!). Now that I've raised your expectations, lower them a bit so you still have a great time and a wonderful dinner in a town caught in the middle of itself, the past three years of a shutdown, and the coming growth that will inevitably occur when China opens up again.

The ambiance is nice and the food is good. But, the management's decision to price in the menu in U.S. dollars, but you have to pay in kip, then they give themselves a very very favorable exchange rate. A sleazy way to add around 5-7% to the prices. Really makes you think what other marginal practices might be going on.

This is a great little Italian Cafe a stones throw from the Markets in Vientiane. Very relaxed atmosphere & wonderful for a cold beer & pizza while watching the passing parade. The staff are very polite & efficient & there is a good variety of Asian & Italian food. Good English is spoken & the prices are very reasonable. Accessible & clean

Nice Pizza, good authentic taste and nicely located. With nice ingredients difficult to find around. I was often disappointed by Pizzas in Asia but this one was pretty good. On the improvement side, the bread was not really a Pizza Bread, more like a dried cooked Pita Bread so still improvement to be made but all the topping was very nice.

Lunchtime stop so not too busy. Friendly fast service and lovely thin crust, crispy, over-fired pizza : 4 seasons. Toppings were fresh and generous amount - shared with my wife!

THIS RESTAURANT IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE RIVERSIDE HOTEL AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR A GOOD ITALIAN DINNER. I WAS VERY TIRED WHEN I WENT HERE AND HAD THE LASAGNA AND I THINK IT WAS BETTER THAN MY MOMS LASAGNA AND THAT MEANS IT WAS REALLY GOOD. THE PIZZAS LOOKED GOOD AND THEY COOK THEM IN A BRICK OVEN. IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SMELL IT. UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO GO BACK AND TRY THE PIZZA.

An unusual gem of a Belgian Beer venue in South East Asia, and not at significantly greater prices than in Europe. Authentic Chalices a touch of class Food a little better than adequate, even for vegetarians!

A beer lovers heaven! I can't count the number of international high quality beers and ales available. Suffice to say, there is something for everyone. In addition, there is a great range of well prepared cocktails available. Then there is the great food menu on offer. When you see locals, expats and tourist all in the one venue, you know they are doing it well. A great venue and a must visit in Vientiane.

Chokdee Café Belgian Beer Bar in Vientiane offers an incredible variety of beers. The prices are reasonable, especially considering most of the beers are imported. We also tried some desserts, including a waffle and chocolate mousse. While they were not bad, they weren't particularly great either. Overall, it's a great spot for beer enthusiasts!

As an avid beer enthusiast, I was quite pleased with the selection of beers that was available both on tap and in bottles. Even though some of my favorite beers weren’t available they had similar options. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the location was good, 15 minute walk from my hotel. I ordered the trucker sandwich with beef, in terms of flavor it wasn’t bad and the spicy sauce that came on the side was good but the beef seemed more like a small burger patty cut up into a few pieces and put in a sandwich and the baguette was a bit dry. Personally I would prefer if the beef was either chopped or minced like in a sloppy joe so it can be more prevalent. Also it doesn’t specify which vegetables are in the sandwich and it had pickles which I personally don’t like but were only on top so easy to remove. All in all, a solid 8/10 in my opinion.

So, I'm a huge beer snob, I won't drink cheap beer. I'm a huge belgian fan. This place has an amazing selection, I'm honestly shocked. I'm from western USA, but currently live in Thailand. So far I've not found squat in Thailand. Wish I'd found this sooner, instead of the last night of the trip. If you love good beer, don't miss this place. Food was great too.

Many foods stalls have many dishes, but the price is not very cheap, not recommended eat seafood here. Suggest to eat sticky rice and grilled fish, papaya salad, sausage.

Vientiane Mekong Night Market is a tourist attraction in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. This night market stretches along the Mekong River and has quite a different atmosphere from what we typically imagine as Southeast Asian night markets. They mostly sell counterfeit brand clothing, various accessories, earrings, and necklaces, with barely any street food stalls. If you're going there specifically to shop, you might be quite disappointed. Personally, if your schedule in Vientiane is tight, I think it's perfectly fine to skip this place

The night market is long and lively, offering clothes, shoes, bags, food, and even a small amusement park. It’s a pleasant place to walk around and enjoy. The market is open every night. You can park either at the temple or along the street.

Meh… not like any of the other night markets we’ve experienced in Laos. Maybe only one stall that was selling handicrafts… otherwise just selling counterfeit western clothes, bags, belts, sunglasses, phone accessories and beauty supplies. The food stalls were few and far between, but there’s a mini amusement park if you’ve got kids. Can totally be skipped

Stopped by for lunch with a friend while I was in Laos. Great soups, tilapia was wonderful, Salmon too. Simple, understated but chic atmosphere. Would definitely come back again. The crepes sounded delicious will have to try another time.

Hugely disappointing after the reviews here on google maps. Food is incredibly expensive and for vegetarians, the best option is to go for the set dinner- vegetable pie and mash and veg. The ravioli pasta was undercooked, dry and the mushroom stuffing was bitter. The 115,000 kip Caesar salad wasn't creamy, just tasted of anchovies and didn't use romaine but other greens which were wilted. Overall the food was too salty. The recommended dessert- the Black Forest, was watery cream and "jam". The service seemed to be run by one person who I assume was the manager who was friendly. She took most orders and was also in the kitchen. We asked for the bill a couple times but only got it from her when she got out of the kitchen.

A pleasant but not particularly memorable meal at L'Adresse - the execution was mostly good, though there were some oddities in the dishes that just didn't work. The goat's cheese pastries were more like stingily-filled spring rolls, the cassoulet lacked the richness and comfort you'd normally expect and it came complete with a strange foam on top. Given the price and reputation, the dishes here need to be elevated somewhat!

Went there for lunch. They have reasonably priced lunch set (48,000 kip) which includes large soup or salad, steaks (chickens, beefs, porks), and desserts. The food is delicious. The service is ok, some waiters seem to more ready thsn others. The inside area is quite dark woth mosquitoes.

Food is excellent. Products are fresh. The restaurant is classy and delicate. However, the owner should take himself a bit less seriously and considers his clients a bit more. It was cold, the A/C was blowing at us (half of us got sick the following day) and even we complained many times it was really hard to have him fixing that issue. He just wouldn’t believe us, or falsely thought he other customers were happy with the situation (we asked them - they weren’t). He should relax a bit and treat his customers with less haughtiness and L’Adresse will be really... an excellent address.

Stopped in for lunch today - had the excellent value set lunch menu. Very nice food across all three courses (the pastry especially was impressive, took me back to vacations in France), with highly competent cooking and attentive professional staff.

Very nice french food. Solid menu, not too long, insures quality. Wine selection is of course french oriented but very adequate. I enjoyed my foie gras and main dish. Service is very nice also. I do recommend for a long lazy lunch or a romantic date.

I’ve eaten here twice while in town for just a night. Both times have been very good with good service. Food comes very fast and is really tasty. Second time I had a grilled chicken salad and a Diavola pizza.

The best pizzas I've had! It was amazing! I ordered 4 and got one for free. If I ever go to Vientiane again, this will be my 1st stop! Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the pizzas. I can assure you, you'll love it!

Authentic Italian Food and at a reasonable price for what you're getting. I had the calzone, and it was amazing. The servers are attentive, and the atmosphere is very much like a mixture of fine dining meets casual dining. I highly recommend anyone that's in the area to try this place out.

We had an amazing dinner at Al Capone Pizza. The pizzas were perfectly cooked right in front of us and tasted absolutely delicious. We also shared some fried calamari, prawns, and baby octopus—all equally flavorful and well-prepared. Despite being short-staffed with only two waitstaff handling a fairly busy restaurant, the service was impressive—they managed everything smoothly and professionally. Prices are on the higher side, but well worth it for the quality. Highly recommend this spot to anyone craving a scrumptious Italian meal in Vientiane!

Here you can find the real italian pizza in Vientiane!! As Italians we love to try pizza in every country we travel and this was the best one!! They have the only wood fire oven in the city and they make the Napolitan pizza with great products! The service was prompt and attentive and the owner was very welcoming and nice! If you are looking for a great pizza this is the right place!

The food as this place was amazing, salat could have had less dressing for our taste but still really good. Sadly the restaurant itself was quite dirty. Our tissues had Staines, bathrooms were dirty and seemed run down. Service wasn’t pleasant either.

Great selection of western and local food. Good place to come hang and watch the sunset (and people). Look out for their happyhour promotion and two-for-one cocktails promotion on their Facebook page. My must-order item is their pumpkin croquettes with bluecheese sauce.

Some of the best cocktails in town! Have been there a few times since living here and each time it was very good. This is my go to place for having a nice cocktail and an appetizer. Great happy hour early in the evening.

Best time of the day is to go just one hour before sunset. The sun that sets over the Mekong gives the best vibe for one of the many amazing cocktails The Spirit offers. Grab something small from the Tapas or the Snack menu and enjoy. Cocktails are amazing and the food is delicious. I would recommend the brie baked with bacon and unions with pitta bread and mango sauce, it’s very good.

Had a great experience eating here twice. You'd be a goose to order the western food as the menu is packed with beautiful Laotian gems. Recommend the Laos pork ribs. Just preorder your beer and get them to put it in the freezer and bring it in an ice bucket.

The cheese in the onion soup was a blast! The soup is too salty for me. The crepes were ok.... they gave me a generous amount of salad underneath the crepes, which was a plus.

Food was good although cutlery and plates all had a white dust on them. Maybe it was just floor. I enjoyed my crepe and dessert. But be careful paying with Thai baht as the exchange rate given by the restaurant had a fee of about 10%. Probably the most expensive I have paid ever anywhere in the world. There is a money exchange shop really close to the restaurant where the fee is less than 1%. Go there to change your money beforehand.

Really nice and cozy place with a very friendly staff and owner. I went with friends for dessert and the crepes were delicious! The owner also helped make our friend's birthday really special. Would definitely go back!

Dropped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The breads were delicious, we had a paratha and a naan. The curry was also really tasty and a great level of spice.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this place, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The chutney served alongside complemented them very well. For the main course, I went with the Paneer Tikka Masala, which, unfortunately, was disappointing. The gravy lacked the richness and depth typically expected from this dish, and the paneer pieces were not fresh — they were chewy and didn’t have that soft texture paneer lovers look for. This particular dish brought down the overall experience for me, which is why I’m giving a 3-star rating. That said, the ambience of the place is definitely a highlight. It has a cozy and relaxed vibe, with comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area is especially nice during the evening, and the restaurant’s location — just a short walk from the riverside — adds to its charm. It’s a good place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some time with friends or family. I would consider visiting again, but next time, I’ll likely try a different main course.

Buddy let me tell you.. if you are in Vientiane, go to this place for dinner. The food is great, the service is prompt, and the price is very affordable. They brought my food very quickly as well, surprisingly fast. The outside seating atmosphere is a little lackluster- plain tables on a somewhat boring stretch of street but besides that minor issue everything was fantastic. Indoors looks fine.

A tucked away cafe recommended to us and we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. It is an open type of cafe so no air conditioning is available. They have several tables available for dining in. Ordered the Sticky Rice Pancake with Mango & Avocado Smoothie. Both were delicious. Enjoyed our meal here.

A bit of a ‘hole in the wall’ but it comes highly recommended. Down a long alley, it’s a favourite among locals so that’s a good sign. Ordering / interpretation can be a little tricky if the older gentleman is taking your order but all is well. The Yellow Chicken Noodle Soup was good, as was the omelette and coffee with coconut (cold) and the Lao coffee with milk (hot).

Simple food that is extremely delicious. Had the beef curry and ginger pork as the main and both were very yummy! I literally drank up all the curry because it was very good. The mango rice pancake’s crust is delicious and the mango smoothie is so good that I ordered 2 cups!

Hidden gem in Vientiane best food I had while I was here! The service is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely top-notch. The pho and chicken noodle dishes are spectacular full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Mango pancakes are terrific as well! It’s tucked away down a small alley, but trust me, the food is more than worth the walk. Food was so good we kept coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the city!

I just traveled from Myanmar, going around neighbouring ASEAN countries for looking friendships and common things. That Kung’s Cafe is something special, highlighted and recommended place to go when traveling to Vientiane. Loved to go there, I will love to go there again next time.

Red beef curry was divine, I'd as far as to say its the best red curry beef I've ever had! A bit hard to find but absolutely worth the hike ;)

Excellent selection of European style bread and pastry. They also serve hot breakfast and other cooked meals. However I only came here for coffee and pastries. Very reasonable prices and nice atmosphere inside.

Dined here for several times during my 2 weeks in Vientiane. They offer a curious but not interesting enough take on the onion soup. The penne was quite decent with extra chicken breast that was tender enough to go well with the dish. Their pastries, especially the creme brulee is a must try as well.

Definitely try this popular and very busy French bakery and restaurant. Even with lots of tables inside and covered outdoor dining spaces, it is difficult to grab a table. Servers are friendly and accommodating, and some staff speak English. Large menu offering lots of French and Western fishrs. The chicken cordon bleu was dry and bland. Cheaper steak cuts were cooked well done even though I ordered medium rare. More expensive beef steaks were clearly better quality and tender, so don't bother ordering the cheaper cuts. Salad was refreshing and delicious. Pizza was ok.

I tried croissant almond and pan au raisins, both are delicious and great value ( it’s very big pastry)! Cafe latte was good as I expected. Recommendable French bakery!

I feel lucky to have found this restaurant! It’s spacious, clean, and very well organized. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, so there's something for everyone. The highlight for me was definitely the sandwich – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. They also offer delivery, which is super convenient. Highly recommend!

Saw Vietnamese and barged right in 😀 had shrimp rolls and banh mi with juice . Everything was good and filling. Bought some snacks from the ladies right outside the restaurant which were good too.

PVO is one of our preferred restaurants in town! They serve clean, fresh and delicious common Vietnamese dishes for breakfast and lunch for different favourite and budget. Today after church we took our grandma aged 85+ who is on wheelchair for breakfast she liked and thumped up the food and service! The restaurant is always busy and finding a parking spot can be challenging. But mostly people and patrons are very kind, friendly and helpful. So be patient and show respect to locals. Thank PVO for their good taught and wishes of making accessibility for wheelchair people 🙏

Such a wonderful restaurant very basic and simple, but the food is excellent, and the price is extremely cheap. It gets very, very busy and it’s not difficult to understand why being such a great place to have a nice breakfast, especially. I get what you pay for so do not expect the best service or a luxury restaurant. It is what it is and that’s perfect. Good honest food at great price. Really really really recommend anybody to go here .

If you are looking for great Vietnamese food in Vientiane, this is the place to go. They have a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes to choose from. We ordered the Pork Pho (rice noodle soup served with fried bread and bean sprouts) & Bi Bun (pork rice noodles with a fried spring roll). Both of them were close to authentic flavor and the ingredients all seemed to be very fresh. The staff is friendly and spoke good english, making it seamless for us foreigners to order. The menu has english and Lao as well, so it is easy to look at the options. The place was very clean, including the toilet which was immaculate (this is hard to find in Laos). I highly recommend giving this place a try and I look forward to coming back and trying more of the yummy dishes.

Reviews looked great so we decided to give it a try. Food was amazing!!!! The service was prompt, polite and overall great with a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. They were closing soon before we finished and we never felt rushed or anything other than welcome. The food, order anything because everything we had was amazing! 7 out of 5 all day long and highly recommended!!!

I use this restaurant for lunch. This place is so busy with foreigner. I am not sure of its accepting reservation. Taste is awesome, and price is very reasonable for frensh course.

Dinner was great and service was pretty good as well I had ordered the beef tenderloin which was unfortunately really dry for the medium rare I had asked which turned out to be a well done sadly, And I had the tilapia and shrimp with coconut sauce of such which was great! And the pate was really good with the mustard cream pairs nicely with the bread and lastly the mushroom soup which was not too bad. Had no space left for dessert unfortunately.

The food here is just amazing . Had the salmon and shrimp salad. So delicious. Gave the service 3 stars because we went as a big group and they took a looooong time to get all our food. But the food is just awesome, must try .

True French bistro cuisine cooked by a chef that has a passion for cooking. This shows by the food served and the chef himself checking that everything is ok with the food. We left very happy and the price is very fair. The pumpkin soup with blue cheese was delicious. Pate en croute was fantastic and to finish off the duck was cooked to perfection (medium rare for me and medium for my partner) with a delicious green peppercorn sauce and an amazing potato waffle with onion and bacon bits which was a first for me, but works so well! Not to mention the bread and butter to start was very fresh and the red wine for the meal was also really, really nice. Next time we will be back :)

We came Le Trio Coffee this morning after a recommendation from a fellow traveller I met in Vang Vieng. I must say that his recommendation was correct and the coffee is superb (thanks Gert!). I had a cold latte (not my usual go to but it is a hot day) and the love of my life had a cold cappuccino. Both coffees were excellent. The coffee shop has footpath seating and tables with fans as well as inside seating. Very cool inside in both temperature and ambience! A big shout out to Jules who provided fantastic service. He was attentive, polite and very helpful. Le Trio serves cake sans pastries but we were after some other breakfast options and Jules provided the menu for Coco & Co, which is the vegan cafe next door. The food was very good. Lao- French coffee. Still best coffee in Vientiane so far. Have not been here since September 2019 but the place has not change at all. Good vibes in the morning. Good coffee with lots of styles for selection. You can smell the coffee in 20m radius from the shop when they have a new roasted coffee beans

Excellent coffee. I had vegan cappuccino and vegan flat white. Oat milk option is available . Highly recommend this coffee shop.

Good coffee shop with a nice ambient. I had a good conversation about philosophy with the young French-Laotian man who is the nephew of the owner. He took good care of every guest. Unfortunately as soon as he left around lunch time the service got worst. The employees cared less, they are on their smartphones the whole time and you feel like you disturb them if you ask something. This is a pity.

I came here to eat Swedish meatballs with mashed/potato, lingonberry and gravy(I'm from Sweden and lived in Asia now for 3 years) i got meatballs , rice with bearnaise sauce.... Meatballs are dry and probably been in a freezer for very long. Cant answer for the pizza though but I'm very disappointed. It even says on the menu what it should be served with. They should have told me and I would have ordered a pizza instead or gone elsewhere.

Away from noises and crowded places. Local noodles shop! The broth is flavourful made by local aunt. The aroma of the chilli oil is addictive, you will die for, not too spicy. The noodles has bouncy and chewy texture. I had it with crispy pork belly and it has two quail eggs in it. Super yummy. Worth place to try if you like noodles. Only 35,000 kip for large size bowl.

Excellent noodle soup. Cheap price and great flavour. The noodles done perfectly. Some people say it’s harder, it’s meant to be Al dente. Don’t forget to get the crispy pork in your soup and add Chinese donut into the soup. The blood jelly is also fresh. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a restaurant at the side of the road. The meal comes with a cold bottle of water. This is a diamond in the rough restaurants. I would eat here everyday for breakfast if I could.

My favorite khao piek place in town. Different vendors and different broth depending on time of day- I prefer the broth from the lady who sells in the afternoon. Choice of thick or thin khao piek noodles. Consistency is great and you can also pick out some boiled chicken thighs, wings, innards, and ovaries on the side and have them chop them up for you.

The place during the day does not look so nice: tables were for and beer dirty, sand with chairs, also next to the table the trash bin was swimming around in a water 🤷🏻‍♂️ The restaurant is actually a tent with a kitchen inside, does not look so sanitary. The service was not so interested in newcomers, but later on it has increased. The menu is available only via QR code online and most of the items are not available. We were struggling to choose anything also because of a language barrier. However finally the spicy chicken was surprisingly tasteful, can recommend it!

This is a centrally located "after after hours" bar. In other words, when all the other after-hours clubs and bars in Vientiane, everybody comes here. The service is not great. There are no beautiful bartenders or waitresses refilling your glass or providing ice cubes in your drinks. They do however have a FULLY stocked bar. I am here now for the 4th night in a row. It is 3 AM and there is no indication that the place will close anytime soon. The best thing about this bar is that they are open until morning. Stylish, modern decor.

Owner spent whole time lying on a couch barefoot yawning as loud as a Vietnamese motorbikes horn. More mosquitos in here than an African village. No customers. Dull. Avoid.

It's indeed a gay bar, but everyone is welcome here. The best part is that you can be the D.J by playing YouTube songs from a computer! The staff is nice and the place itself is colorful and fun. Of you wanna have a nice night out, dance and meet people, this is the place to go.

It was a good experience for me, foreigner and local friend, a great place to hangout and get to know with other people. I was there last year, it was fun, you get to choose what song you like to play, atmosphere is really vibin', staffs are friendly so if I get the chance to visit again, I would do it.

This is quite a big place with live music. The food was authentic and it test very good. I went there around 2-3 pm and the restaurant was only had a few customers so our order was very quick to come and we were so hungry at the time. They accept 3 currency for payment (LAK, THB and USD). It was very convenient for us since we didn’t have the time to exchange to the local currency yet. The restaurant had no car park we had to park on the dirt parking lot on the opposite side of the street.

Great food and friendly service. We tried duck three ways, BBQ'd, with veggies and a duck blood soup. The latter was the highlight, light and fresh, like a slightly more gelatinous gazpacho. It's packed full of umami flavour and was the first to go!

Very cool local place. No English menu, they have a sign that says that they accept credit cards, but they don't actually accept credit cards. It's loud and fun inside, with lots of beer drinking and live music. The grilled duck is outstanding --- succulent and juicy and smoky all at the same time. The famous duck blood salad, Paeng Pet, is okay.

Excellent service by staff, tasty Laos dishes and grilled duck, cheap beer, with the live Laos music band, the only downside to this is the music is way too loud for the size of establishment.

Price was fair. Food was great. The live blood take longer to be ready. We already finish our meal before the bring the blood dish out but overall I would go again.

I stayed here for a few nights the rooms were clean but a little simple. the bed was on the smaller side and a little bit hard but it was still comfortable and the sheets were clean the room had a nice little balcony and everything was clean and kept in good condition and the staff cleaned the room every day for me the bathroom had good water pressure and hot water actually very hot water and was decently appointed and the AC was absolutely amazing it was super strong and clean and the staff gave me a fair exchange rate when I paid in Thai baht. Also it's got an awesome location with a real quick walk to massage shops pizza parlors many restaurants and the Waterfront Night Market I can recommend it if you're looking for a clean budget stay. Overall I would probably give it 4.5 for the price and the area there was no TV in the room but the Wi-Fi was good

This is a crazily dirty place… bed sheets, pillows full of stains. Tons of mosquitoes at night. Unbearably noisy AC. I doubt if they ever cleaned the room. So dirty. Did not sleep well and left as early as possible.

Located in the area closely to food night market and also just 7 min walk to Vientiane night market. It is located in downtown but not noisy. Staff are friendly and can communicate well with English. Breakfast is acceptable. Rooms are clean.

Beautiful hotel. Staffs are so wonderful and kind. Hotel can sleep up to 4 people if you are looking to save some money and don’t care sharing beds. They keep the place very clean and every time you go in and out they always greet you. I would definitely come and stay here again next time i am in Laos.

Nice and friendly staff. The room is well-maintained and clean. The location is quite convenient because it is near the bus station A5 if you want to come to the hotel from the airport. One more plus point is it is quite near to the touristy places and night market but it is far enough to avoid the noise from those areas at night. The minus point is it takes a bit for the water in the bathroom to get warm.

The staff is okay enough but if you reserve in advance you cannot pay by card, cash only and it was slightly more than advertised. The room is decent, but the walls are so thin that you hear everything from multiple rooms. Even worse is that the reception is in the center between all rooms less than 2 meters away so people that come at night or early morning will disturb all customers, and since no one is at the reception at night people ring the bell and wake up everyone, it happened 3 times in 2 nights. The worst sleep I had. Also cockroaches in the room and so much mosquitos that when I sprayed with bugspray I could pick them off my bed. Edit: its funny they replied, I will update the review accordingly. They say they watch through the camera but that doesnt matter if no one is at the reception. That doesnt prevent people from coming in and ringing the bell cause they see no one is there. Also the power went out and their camera they say they watch through started loudly saying connecting multiple times, waking me up even more. And then you cant even sleep in late because there is no sound isolation because people that leave talk loudly and you can hear them cleaning the room.

I stayed here from October 1st to 3rd, 2025. 1. The address on this hotel is quite inconspicuous. The taxi dropped me off at the hotel next door, and I had to ask several people before I could find it. 2. The waitress, a beautiful dark-skinned woman who spoke English, told me the price for two nights was $34.20, and I gave her $35. She didn't have $0.80 to change, so she exchanged it for Laotian kip and only gave me 10,000 kip. Based on the exchange rate, she should have given me 15,000 kip. 3. The room was compact with a lovely balcony. It was noisy at night, but I could sleep there. 4. Motorcycles can be parked safely in the hallway downstairs.

Mekong Riverside accomodation (room nr 7) Booked this place just for luggage storage during the day as the airport doesn't have any, so booked the cheapest place I could find. +Location, some restaurants nearby. +Got the room before the check-in time, but as we had big luggages and there is no elevator we left the luggages near the reception, too heavy to walk up on all those stairs with it. +Could borrow umbrella because of rain. +Can't book a 7 seat minivan from the app 'LOCA' (like Uber and Grab), so I booked a car with my app and the reception staff booked another car with her app and we paid the staff by cash (80.000 kip) to have 2 cars to airport. -Old place, need renovation. -No elevator, the stairs are steep up to 2nd floor. Look at my pictures.

Room was as expected. I didn’t want a noisy room so asked for one at the back. You have to say what time you are going to arrive as the reception isn’t manned all the time. I got polite and helpful service. As I’m an older female I would have appreciated help with my bag but it was OK. If you do your research you’ll know there isn’t a lift so I don’t think there’s much point complaining about it after booking. The bathroom could have been cleaner but the location is great and I’ve booked to stay again next year.

Came here by the Google review, there is no other guest, the owner is polite and helpful, can speak english with enough understanding to order. The place were tidy and clean, the chef is funny and can speak English also. The food were good, with some special local cusine, but it took abit long to prepare. I had the most amazing meal here this evening. The owner of the restaurant is one of the kindest people I have met and her cooking is just as great. She was very accommodating of the fact I do not eat meat and cooked a brilliant meal for us. The mango sticky rice is a must if you come here - the best we’ve had on our travels (and we’ve tried a lot). She made sure we got to our taxi safely and we are so thankful for her amazing hospitality. Please visit if you’re nearby.

We discovered this restaurant just as we were about to leave Vientiane, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The food was very good, and the restaurant was very clean, including the toilets. The women running the restaurant speak English, they offer an English menu and are vegetarian friendly. They were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vientiane.

Best food we have eaten in Laos, we asked for their recommendations and everything was delicious. Restaurant was pristine, and kitchen staff wore hairnets, you can see the pride in good hygiene. Absolutely worth the short trip just outside the city cbd. Only comment would be some quiet background music would go a long way in creating a more welcoming environment when entering as we were the only ones there for an early dinner.

Best bánh mì-style sandwich in either Vientiane or Luang Prabang. The staff is super friendly and great with our kids. You can see that it's a family affair of love. The sandwich is available in a full-sized baguette (20,000 LAK) or half size (10,000 LAK), but there is only one type with pork floss, cold cuts, pâté, and herbs on a crunchy baguette. Besides the sandwich, we tried the egg breakfast with slices of cold cuts, pâté, and baguette. They gave us a sample of their beef broth soup with meatballs and it was nice as well. Very simple and clear. Their coffee was just okay, not great. The true star was the bánh mì. I'd gladly go back again for it.

Not bad bahn mi style baguette, but we tasted some better ones in the town and throughout the country. However, the prices have increased a bit steeply: a recent review mentioned 10k and 20k for the small and big baguettes, now it is 12 and 24k. This higher price is not really justified by the location or quality. I didn't like the pate, it had too much garlic, it was tastier at other places. Nice touch that we received a glass of iced tea when eating in, but not when ordering for takeaway.

Lao banh mi shop suggested by food blogger Mark Weins. Excellent super cheap banh mi, similar to in Vietnam but a little spicy. They also have egg and bread, and other kinda American breakfast looking options. Nice family running the place too!

Visited in June 2015. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of IBeam, opposite to Wat Ong Teu. Comfy relaxing ambience, seems popular among local during lunch hour. Price at the high side. There's set lunch menu, 1 course cost 60k kips, 2 courses 90k kips and 3 course meal at 120k kips, comes with complimentary coffee or tea. We ordered the Tilapia fillet with red wine source and creme brulee from the 2 courses set lunch as well as New Zealand Veal Tenderloin in blueberries sauce (190k kips). The fish was tender, red wine sauce was tasted better than the blueberry sauce. The veal cooked to perfection and very tender, the sweet potato puree was nice and the sauteed mushrooms a bit to the salty side, the blueberry sauce was a bit disappointing. It was not blend in well enough with the veal. The creme brulee was sweet and smooth (if ordered separately from lunch set, it will cost 60k kips). The lunch cost total 280k kips (USD$35 @fx rate of $1=8k kips).

Not a good Pizza at all. The Dough didn't get enough rest and therefore doesn't have a good Taste. The Tomato Sauce tastes like made from concentrate, very boring and the Cheese on my 4 Cheese Pizza was just not enough to develop a delicious mouth feel. As you see in the Pictures, there's a big ring of only Tomato Sauce where more Toppings should be. For 189.000 KIP (06/25) a total ripoff. They disguise themselves as Italian, but don't even know the Word "Quattro Formaggi". What a shame. I would suggest to find another Pizzeria.

This place had generally good reviews and was right next to where we were staying so it was a no brainer to check it out....and I am a big fan of Pizza's so.......... Ordered a chicken pizza and a beef sheesh kebab shawarma, my friend ordered her dish, and we had some drinks, me a beer, her some juice. For me the Kebab was well tasty, nothing amazing but enough to quell the hunger and went down well. The pizza was very nice, well cooked, and exactly what one is looking for in a good pizza - not too stodgy, nice amount of toppings, and tasty. The service was good, friendly and efficient. And there was a good vibe in the restaurant, busy enough for the middle of the day. The price came to about just under 14 Euros, which for the amount we had and the good standard of the food, was pretty decent I think. The food was good, and I'd like to return if ever in town again.

In my opinion, the quality of food has definitely declined since last year. Dishes that I loved are now just average. Also, the service has gotten worse. I noticed that the 'head waiter' who looked after me before wasn't there this week, so maybe that's the reason?

Our last night in Vientiane, wd went night market shopping near Mekong River Delta thereafter. Surprisingly, there's another Indian restaurant besides it. We chose Pizza Supreme, Egg Fried Rice and Spaghetti with Cheese 🍕 🍝. And we took foot massage thereafter. So, it's all good

Salt and Pepper Restaurant serves a mix of Indian and Middle Eastern dishes in a cozy, welcoming setting. I visited alone for lunch and tried the Chicken Pida—it was flavorful and satisfying. The service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Other tables around me were enjoying classic Indian dishes, which I’ll definitely come back to try next time. Only downside: parking can be a bit tricky.

We wanted to try Indian food with strong spices, but the food we ordered was too bland and not very flavorful. They should add at least more salt when cooking.

First I love Indian and Pakistan food . I highly give great value on them. I ordered a Mutton Curry. It was not good. The sauce was not a sauce but more a Salsa. A chunky Salsa. The Naan Bread was not at all a Naan. It was more like a Lebonese Bread, not a Pita Bread. I did not expect Pita either. I expected a Naan Bread and this was not. It looked as though it was a frozen bread. But the main thing, other than the food being ordinary, was that to pay 170,000 for a Mutton Curry that turned out to be minute, 4 small pieces of Mutton, if it was Mutton, and a salsa, not a curry sauce. I mean,Curry has Curry ingredients, like Chilli, Cumin, Cardomon, Coriander, maybe Ginger. It is spicy. This was as spicy as a wet rag. If you are going to charge the prices you do you might like to actually have a genuinely quality product

We asked the server to make our dishes medium spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all and the saltiness was too weak, making the food very boring and tasteless.

The best Chilean food in Vientiane! Very authentic tacos and desserts. I enjoy all the items on the menu, including the coffee. The prices are reasonable. Seating is available on both the first and second floors, and there is car parking in front of the restaurant.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for eateries on Google Maps. It had great reviews so we decided to visit. Very happy with our decision. The menu had many enticing options. We ordered the Machan pork sandwich and the Latin Mix platter with pork. Everything was delicious! My cappuccino was perfect. We would recommend a meal here during your stay in Vientiane. I love Lao food but this was a nice break for the palate.

We happened to come on a Tuesday - Taco Tuesday. Hence Taco's was our choice. We were able to mix and match the ingredients, and got 4 different kinds of 🌮. My favorites being the pulled pork and the fish. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and service super friendly. I'm looking forward to come back and try the Ceviche. Note: on weekdays they are closing at 6pm already.

My favorite restaurant in Vientiane! Great Chilean food and lots of other options. I love the classic completo and the burritos are great too. Don’t miss out on the homemade sweets like alfajores and tres leches cake!

Not the most pleasant staff. Subpar food. The vegan empanadas were not good on their own, but were better with the pico salsa. The lemon matcha tea was pretty good. Tight seating space downstairs. The upstairs is supposedly for reservations. Cool to see such a cafe in Laos, but it needs work.

Loved the vibe here! The music and the flavours transported us back home to a Mexican restaurant in London. The food was absolutely delicious, best Central American food we’ve had in SEA. Staff were very friendly.

I ordered a breakfast burrito, and that was hands down one of the girthiest and most well wrapped burritos I have had. Very fresh wheat wraps encapsulate so much eggs and bacon. It wasn't super greasy, even with the addition of all that bacon. And the 'Bacan' sauce on the side is a perfect accompaniment to the dish. Good coffee here as well. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu

The English Lao owners were so nice, we turned up not knowing they were closed but they still offered to make us fresh pizza, we normally order via food delivery apps, don't be fooled by their humble name they make serious pizzas!!

My wife and I moved into the neighborhood a few months ago, and this is our go-to pizza place. Delicious pizza that's surprisingly cheap compared to other pizza places. Comfortable decor and lovely cats. We've enjoyed the quietness the times we've been here, but would love to see it be busier and poppin'; seems most of the business is done via delivery.

Amazing authentic pizzas here! All totally hand made from scratch, the base is light and crunchy with delicious toppings and real mozzarella, we also had great garlic bread and chicken wings too. Thanks so much to Fohn for an amazing meal. Do visit when you are in the Vientiane area!!

Fresh made delicious pizza by Fon. We ate the small pizza (25cm) and they were enough for us. The white wine was also very tasty and everything for an affordable price. Fon and her staff are very friendly and the place is cosy and clean.
