I have eaten here 5 times only because the food is good, however the music on every occasion was annoying to say the least. The music was full of profanity, obscenities and way too loud. Then had to endure the non-stop repetitive music until 4am in the Cosi Vientiane Hotel next door. Fortunately the Cosi Vientiane happily move me to a road side room which funnily enough is insanely quiet. The 2 star was because of staff constantly on their mobile phones

Super chill spot with good music, coo vibe, and easy to get to. You can smoke outside, smoke hookah inside, or just turn off your brain and relax like I did. Went there regularly at night since it's one of the few spots open and with an ambiance.

First time at Moonlight Lounge and honestly, I loved it. The vibe is super relaxed, music’s just right, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Tried the hookah and a cocktail—both were solid. If you're in Nam Phu and want a cool spot to chill, this is it.

This place is nice if you're heavy into clubbing. Lots of drinks, flashing lights, electronic music. Good place to go mingle but if that's not your scene it's prolly best to avoid. It's also located near restaurants.

Maybe I went too early, left around 21.00 and for a Friday was quite empty. Had to go to the counter to pay my bill since nobody came outside for a while. There was a guy setting a screen but no attention to anything else other than setting the screen. The skinny working girl was good but then she disappeared.

Came here for a beer whilst on visa run. Pleasant atmosphere with very attentive and friendly staff. Fountain in background adds an extra ambiance to an already relaxing vibe . Each table comes with its own moon for fun photos

It is a pool hall. The price is ok and we were pretty much left alone. It seems like there is a semi leaque game going on with regular. It is chill. But the pool cue is old and not very good as you would expect from any pool hall.

Nice hole in the wall type of place. They don't have any food but have a good crowd of locals including English speaking people. Stays open late. Bartenders pretty nice. Pretty laid back with TVs to watch sports.

Good pub if you want to rent a pool table or sign up on the whiteboard. 45 000 to rent a table or 5 000 every time you loose on the middle table. Good athomsphere and cheap beer. Ended up going out here 4-5 times in a week.

The best after hours club in Vientiane, Laos. I love this place. Pool tables, beautiful women, good service and courteous staff, open VERY late, with a fully stocked bar plus beer and nitrous oxide on tap. 🙏❤️😊

Nice place! Open late for the area and they have a decent selection of good quality Lao dishes. Been a couple of times and I will keep coming back and update as needed. Come there after sundown to enjoy the joyful boisterous nature of the locals for the best experience or drop by for a good lunch.

Tully’s Irish Bar used to be my go-to spot for great food, lively vibes, and an authentic Irish pub atmosphere, often filled with foreigners. However, it has since taken a different direction. The addition of Lao-Thai live music bands feels out of place with the traditional Irish theme it once had. Now, it’s more of a casual venue for Beer Lao enthusiasts than the charming Irish bar it used to be.

Not like any Irish pub I've ever been too. Its a club with live music and food. Very popular when I was there (also quite loud!). A very friendly young crowd and friendly staff. I had Issan food, and this was good.

Went here for my birthday on St Patrick's Day. Highly recommended! A really great band was playing. Great atmosphere. Surprisingly low prices for a western place! A word about the food though: the Lao/Thai food is excellent and as good as you'll have anywhere in town. But the western food was terrible. We had mussels and potatoes and both had a nasty cream sauce with no flavor. We also had 4 local dishes which were excellent.

Loved this place. If I lived here I would come here far too often. Their beer and spirits selection is massive...has to be the biggest selection in SE Asia. My burger was a taste of the west and cooked perfectly. Beer Lao dark at an incredibly cheap 10K kip (8K during happy hour 4-8) and of course, Guinness on tap. Staff we friendly and chatty. The place is immaculately clean and fitted out. True pub where I felt welcome. Definitely recommended!

What happened with food? They brought an empty shell of a crab lol. Shame on you: two shrimps 30grams of a squid and two oysters. Food is not good. There is no billiards 🎱 NO BILLIARDS DAMN IT

The pub with the most "pub atmosphere" in the city - good decor, good range of beers, both local and foreign. Large screens for watching sport and live music on Fridays and Saturday. Service was bit slow and reactive. I tried the Guinness and beef pie: very tasty but the top was dollops of mashed potatoes, ok but unusual. The food menu is not big but has enough interesting European and also Lao dishes. The drinks menu is impressive, especially the whiskey/whisky listings...will have to visit a lot!

If you are gonna invest this large amount of money in a reasonably authentic Irish bar, at least employ a Manager (European) who smiles and greets customers. Many negative review on line about his lack of bonhomme.

Was here for lunch with a friend, early one day - first time in a Hard Rock Café before. I had known them to be a bit naff so wasn't sure what to expect - Place was empty, we were the only customers - ordered a bit of food, I had a burger and fries - and I think a chicken dish - with a cocktail and 4 beers. Also had dessert. Service was great, and the lady serving us was really chatty and super friendly. Also we had a trainee waiter who was learning the ropes - he was friendly and also did a good job. Now I was well happy with the food, the burger was good, and the café itself is cool enough for a walk around - they have a very good collection of rock memorabilia - I was well impressed - BUT the bill was a little pricey - over 55 euros - for this town that's a lot - but I see they added a cheeky service charge and a VAT charge (don't make it obvious!) which came to over 9 Euros - ha, that's kind of taking the pee! Anyway we had a good time so cant really complain too much - but still its Laos so.... Went in later as I was told they had music - had a beer, and yes they had some live music - but the place was empty with only a few Chinese customers. Places around the corner were busier and more livelier. Maybe they are empty as they are too pricey? Good but could do better.

We were out late and decided to pass by and get some burgers. The place looked nice and there was good music. It was pretty empty just another two groups there around midnight. The staff were respectful and kind. But when my burger came it was not fully cooked. One meat patty was cooked but the other one still looked raw. We packed one for our friend and his beef patty was also pink looking. Do not recommend.

Hard Rock Cafe Vientiane was such a great surprise! The vibe was electric, and the Felicia Band totally stole the show — amazing vocals, great stage presence, and they knew how to work the crowd. The food was just as memorable — I had a Burger and it hit the spot. The staff were warm, welcoming, and super attentive. Whether you're a tourist or a local, this place delivers good food, great music, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Had to stoo by this place since its a Hard Rock and I'm an American. The vibe was dead, although I know it was on a Tuesday night, but the band didn't start performing until 9PM and thats when more people came in. I ordered a ribeye medium cook and the steak came out barely warm, like its been out of the oven and sat there for at least 20 minutes before serving. I wouldn't say pricey, but also not cheap, especially for that kind of steak quality.

I've been to plenty of the Hard Rocks but it's been a minute since my last visit. Pretty cool to catch one in Laos and you can expect the same excellence just as if you went to any other Hard Rock. Service is absolutely exceptional! From the minute you walk in till they open the door to walk you out, every minute of our meal the service was 5 Star! The meal was the same quality you can expect at any of the Hard Rocks, excellent! We had a couple of burgers on this visit and they were delicious. Last but not least it was early so there wasn't many people there and no live music but the atmosphere was a great vibe and a place you felt comfortable enough to chill and enjoy your meal. Gift shop, just like back in the day we stopped and grabbed a few shirts but you can expect plenty of items to pick from for a good gift or souvenir to remember the visit. Would recommend visiting!

Very nice bar/restaurant etc. Definitely a very nice and well kept hard rock. Excellent and super attentive staff. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The draft beer at happy hour hit the spot. The wings were so good to too!!! Would love to see it with the band in the evening. I went during happy hour and had an early dinner so it was pretty quiet while I was there.

Never experienced such a great experience in a Hard Rock Café. Dancing on a live band. People letting loose and having a great time on a Sunday evening. Great food, excellent service, Kim was absolutely fantastic serving us alongside all the staff. Memorable last evening in Vientiane and Laos.

This is a centrally located "after after hours" bar. In other words, when all the other after-hours clubs and bars in Vientiane, everybody comes here. The service is not great. There are no beautiful bartenders or waitresses refilling your glass or providing ice cubes in your drinks. They do however have a FULLY stocked bar. I am here now for the 4th night in a row. It is 3 AM and there is no indication that the place will close anytime soon. The best thing about this bar is that they are open until morning. Stylish, modern decor.

Owner spent whole time lying on a couch barefoot yawning as loud as a Vietnamese motorbikes horn. More mosquitos in here than an African village. No customers. Dull. Avoid.

I have pain at the moment and walking helps..I got a nice welcome... they were quite happy to allow me to sit and enjoy. Later it becomes very busy as it's the last open bar in town...apparently the place rocks and the atmosphere is pretty amazing 👏

It's indeed a gay bar, but everyone is welcome here. The best part is that you can be the D.J by playing YouTube songs from a computer! The staff is nice and the place itself is colorful and fun. Of you wanna have a nice night out, dance and meet people, this is the place to go.

Great food, great atmosphere, live singers& reasonably priced. Tip for Laos, if your Western or don't like spicy (and I mean the spicest food I've ever tasted), then when in a restaurant in Laos, ask for less spice. This restaurant was perfect!

I was there last year, it was fun, you get to choose what song you like to play, atmosphere is really vibin', staffs are friendly so if I get the chance to visit again, I would do it.

An unusual gem of a Belgian Beer venue in South East Asia, and not at significantly greater prices than in Europe. Authentic Chalices a touch of class Food a little better than adequate, even for vegetarians!

A beer lovers heaven! I can't count the number of international high quality beers and ales available. Suffice to say, there is something for everyone. In addition, there is a great range of well prepared cocktails available. Then there is the great food menu on offer. When you see locals, expats and tourist all in the one venue, you know they are doing it well. A great venue and a must visit in Vientiane.

Chokdee Café Belgian Beer Bar in Vientiane offers an incredible variety of beers. The prices are reasonable, especially considering most of the beers are imported. We also tried some desserts, including a waffle and chocolate mousse. While they were not bad, they weren't particularly great either. Overall, it's a great spot for beer enthusiasts!

As an avid beer enthusiast, I was quite pleased with the selection of beers that was available both on tap and in bottles. Even though some of my favorite beers weren’t available they had similar options. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the location was good, 15 minute walk from my hotel. I ordered the trucker sandwich with beef, in terms of flavor it wasn’t bad and the spicy sauce that came on the side was good but the beef seemed more like a small burger patty cut up into a few pieces and put in a sandwich and the baguette was a bit dry. Personally I would prefer if the beef was either chopped or minced like in a sloppy joe so it can be more prevalent. Also it doesn’t specify which vegetables are in the sandwich and it had pickles which I personally don’t like but were only on top so easy to remove. All in all, a solid 8/10 in my opinion.

So, I'm a huge beer snob, I won't drink cheap beer. I'm a huge belgian fan. This place has an amazing selection, I'm honestly shocked. I'm from western USA, but currently live in Thailand. So far I've not found squat in Thailand. Wish I'd found this sooner, instead of the last night of the trip. If you love good beer, don't miss this place. Food was great too.

Great selection of western and local food. Good place to come hang and watch the sunset (and people). Look out for their happyhour promotion and two-for-one cocktails promotion on their Facebook page. My must-order item is their pumpkin croquettes with bluecheese sauce.

Some of the best cocktails in town! Have been there a few times since living here and each time it was very good. This is my go to place for having a nice cocktail and an appetizer. Great happy hour early in the evening.

Best time of the day is to go just one hour before sunset. The sun that sets over the Mekong gives the best vibe for one of the many amazing cocktails The Spirit offers. Grab something small from the Tapas or the Snack menu and enjoy. Cocktails are amazing and the food is delicious. I would recommend the brie baked with bacon and unions with pitta bread and mango sauce, it’s very good.

Had a great experience eating here twice. You'd be a goose to order the western food as the menu is packed with beautiful Laotian gems. Recommend the Laos pork ribs. Just preorder your beer and get them to put it in the freezer and bring it in an ice bucket.

This is the only place you can meet the young Vientiane people without seeing tourists. Super cool dj and live band...friendly crowd and good price for beers. 30k for big lao beer btl! For age 20 -30 you shouldn't miss this place! Be there at 9pm to 11pm to nail the crowd.

I think the food is ok and price is cheaper than other restaurants, for taste is not special anymore. This restaurant is suitable for teenagers, I think they make the restaurant looks like a factory style which is a unique place. Moreover, a live music is started around 7:30 and they have many groups which is to sing a song each time and style, they are amateurs, almost adolescent!

The beer horns are no more available, for fraught beer you can only buy the tower and cannot buy the glass. Overall not worth your time if your are visitor better try once tge “Khop Chai Due” very near to this place and you will never regret my advise. Thats better place in my opinion and at almost same prices.

Was here on a Friday night. Really lively atmosphere with amazing live music. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the atmosphere. The chicken steak was severely overcooked - tough enough that I couldn't even cut through it. The spring rolls were underwhelming and lacked flavor. Drinks, however, were solid - no complaints there. Overall: If you're coming for the music and the mood, especially post-dinner, this is a great spot to unwind. But if you're planning to have a full meal here, it's safer to stick to the basics.

Had a terrific time watching the Laotians go crazy over American music. Many knew all the words to the songs. One of the singers wore a Detroit Tigers hat, from the city where I lived last year. Fantastic experience. 10/10

Vientiane absolutely stole my heart, and a huge part of that was thanks to Wind West. This little music venue isn't fancy by any means, but it's got that special something that makes you feel instantly welcome. The first thing that hits you is the atmosphere. It's intimate, with fairy lights strung across the ceiling and mismatched furniture that somehow works perfectly. Everyone there seemed to be genuinely enjoying the music, a mix of local bands and international acts. It felt less like a show and more like a gathering of music lovers. The owner, this amazing woman named Mai, runs the place with a passion that's infectious. She goes out of her way to chat with everyone, recommend drinks (trust me, try the tamarind juice!), and create a space where everyone feels comfortable. I ended up spending hours there, talking to fellow travelers and locals alike, all drawn together by the fantastic music. Honestly, Wind West isn't just a bar, it's an experience. It's the kind of place that makes you understand why you travel, where you connect with people from all walks of life over a shared love of music. If you're ever in Vientiane, do yourself a favor and skip the fancy tourist traps. Head to Wind West, grab a drink, and let the good vibes wash over you. You won't regret it.

a pub with warm atmosphere and good music (songs are half global hits, half local hits). people were mostly local, young to middle age. not too commercialized. so it's a good place for tourists to have a glance of local night life. also recommend as a beer pub - good variety of beers (although the country's local beer industry is dominated by beerlao), very reasonable price. only thing was that the place was a bit chaotic and the staffs were not really taking care of guests. but totally fine if your priority is beer and music over service.

This is a good upscale place that serves local dishes but gives touristic vibes just around the corner of Vientiane downtown. The outdoor vibe is good and open, while the indoor ones provide comfortable seating but actually gives a pub-like vibe. The foods really taste good especially the local dishes although the spring rolls were more to the Vietnamese side than Laos style. I’m giving 4 star on the foods in terms of portions. The price are a little not par with the portions. Expect to get a portion for single portion if you intend to share. The staff and service are pretty good as expected of Laoatians. They spoke well in English and actually went out of their way to provide what we wanted and how we wanted our foods and drinks. Reasonable waiting time and not much variety of food options on the menu but enough.

A very good place to have beers and drinks and to have good food. Their Mango Sticky rice was so so, in Prawns fried rice were just prawns placed upon normal rice., someone mentioned same for their Prawns Pad Thai too. Rest everything was amazing. Place had Live music and was great to have dinner while your stay at Vientiane.

This is an amazing place to go especially for Dinner. All the food taste great and authentic. We ordered the fried fish, fried chicken wings, papaya salad, Lao sausage, chicken satay and a vegetable dish. We went on a Thursday night and there is a live jazz band. The singer, pianist, cellist, guitarist and saxophonist are awesome.

The evening ambience of the place was excellent, nice setups with soft music. Their food was however a huge let down. 6 of us ordered 9 dishes - only the pork rib was good. Kitchen team needs to improve!!!

Hotel recommended this restaurant 1min walk away. Upon seeing the menu I already suspected that I won’t get authentic Laotian food - the menu tried to cover everything from Indian to Thai to Chinese to western. The clientele look and sound foreign too. Food ended up tasting much better than expected. The only issue tho, is that the shrimps in pad Thai tastes rather off They accept credit card

Chill Hangout Spot in Vientiane If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe in Vientiane, this place is a gem. Cozy seating, good music, and friendly locals make it a great spot to unwind. The drinks are refreshing, the food hits the spot, and the atmosphere is just what you need after a day of exploring. Definitely one of my favorite places to chill in the city.

Ambience was good, not too loud and service was good. Food was alright as well with the beef noodles being our favourite.

One of the handful places in Laos that crafts their own beer. Affordable and casual. Great atmosphere, lively and always buzzing with people at night. Central location and easy to walk to. I also notice that they don't use plastic (as can be seen from the photo that they use wooden straws as opposed to plastic straws), plays certainly well with their 'Earth' theme.

I didn't get to witness the live performance. My friends informed that it was simply amazing! What I loved was how attuned the place was towards sustainability. They served their drinks with Bamboo straws. They offered free water that you could fill in your reusable water. The vibe is simply soulful. I would love to go there again!

If you're looking for a nice hangout spot with live music, this one is a good place. They host a variety of musicians and sometimes talks that address local issues. They offer a good drink selection and fairly typical bar food, and they are also environmentally conscious. Worth stopping by!

Great place for drinking. Food is also good. Bar is owned by Japanese who own a bar in Shinjyuku, Tokyo since 1951 and they came to Vientiane. Counter is a nice wood plate and table seats are available and they have one Karaoke room in 2nd floor. It is a very nice bar and it has an excellent cocktail menu. It is very professional and the Balalaika I had was delicious which you would expect when paying 60000 kip. It just feels a little uninspired. I was hoping for something a bit unusual on the cocktail list but I could not find anything. Maybe I was looking at the wrong list.

We decided to stop in a Dresden after strolling the night market and have a few drinks while we were on our last few night in Vientiane. Dresden is a very lovely cocktail bar with a verity of cocktails and beers to choose from. We didn't have any food but we indulged in some drinks and great company. The prices are a little on the higher end but not terrible, we still enjoyed our visit and would go back. The atmosphere is great, you can watch the bartender make your drinks and the staff are all very friendly. Upon leaving we ran into two people from Japan, they were so much fun and invited us to have a drink with them, they even gave us shots. We had a blast talking to these guys. It's so cool that so many different bars and restaurants can bring so many different people together. I would defiantly try the food next time, it looks delicious!

Best place in vientiane, great bartender, amazing drinks and Japanese level of professionalism when it comes to a cocktail bar, great ambiance. Quality comes with a price.

I only go there to rent a private karaoke room to sing with a group of friends, with the rate 100,000 kip per hour for the smaller rooms, and 150,000 kip for the big ones. I avoid the main bar area, which is quite sleazy. The food is quite good and their service is swift.

Live music pub and you can make a lady sit with you. Waiter waitress are quite friendly and lady sit together is woman speak easy. One thing you must know is this is a place for local Lao then if you can not speak Lao or Thai then you are alone. They can not speak English.

Not sure if we were getting the "farang" price...but it was 50,000 cover charge (normal) then another 320,000 to sit at a table (not normal - usually, with a "table set" the price comes with a bit of food and at least a carafe of beer. This was for a table ONLY). We were then told that we were expected to buy a whole case of beer as an additional charge. As three women, 24 cans of beer is a bit much. Don't know how much the case of beer was. As we were preparing to leave, suddenly a table in the far back was available. The menu was on par with, or more expensive than, what's available in the tourist "fountain namphu park" area. Most of the menu items were unavailable. Out of the 2doz beers listed, only two were in stock. Same with menu. Pages and pages of offering, but only a handful were genuinely available. A lot of hype, huge let down. Would not recommend unless you just want to flash cash and get drunk.

Great cheep night out... Been 5 times in three weeks.

This charming hotel is perfectly located in the very center of the city. Everything exceeded our expectations — the room was stylish and comfortable, the food and drinks were excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Such a lovely hotel. Large room and bathroom. Very clean. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful even though there wasn't always a lot of English. The pool at night was a lovely sight. Food and drink in the bar was of good quality and reasonable. Night market and river were a short walk away.

Perfect location central to everything. Welcome drink is lovely and the staff are so friendly. The rooms are very large and modern with nice facilities. The rooftop pool and bar is lovely with great views.

Fabulous hotel and staff. The minute you arrive, you will be welcomed by Robert, the Manager. He and Lam were so helpful with suggestions on what to do and booking our transport. All the staff were super friendly and wanting to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious, tasty decor, aircon temperature just right, comfortable bed and very clean. The rooftop pool was most enjoyable to swim, have a drink and watch the sunset. The location was in the middle of the attractions which made everything in walking distance. Thanks again to Robert and his team. You certainly added to a very enjoyable stay and we are already planning on coming back!

Lao Poet Hotel exceeded my expectations. The location could not be better. The aesthetics mixes colonial, modern, and lao elements to create upscale - while the price remains reasonable. The service at the receptiont & breakfast are top notch. Highly recommend.

Feb 2015 - Great hotel with some quick win easy improvements Lao Poet Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Vientiane, close to key attractions and offering a great rooftop infinity pool, comfortable rooms, and a restaurant with international and Laotian cuisine. A few small improvements could really enhance the guest experience. * The pool is fantastic, but some sunshades would make a big difference in the 40-degree heat. * Breakfast is a little limited, and lots of guests end up needlessly waiting around to order things to then be served when they'd be happy to serve themselves. Most five-star hotels offer a buffet-style operation now, and the current 'ask, translate, wait, misinterprete (on occasion) then receive' setup doesn't seem to add any value. A self-serve buffet option for tea and toast, along with a wider selection of breakfast items, would significantly improve the experience. The hotel also brings out items and places them on your table without request, leading to food and resource waste. * The door access system is awkward. Rooms use traditional keys, while the lift requires a digital key card, and only one set is provided, making it difficult for couples with different routines, like morning runs. We eventually received multiple sets of metal keys and lift passes, but only after repeatedly asking reception. * Add a 'Do Not Disturb/Clean Room' door hanger. Asking for room cleaning is unnecessarily awkward. * The rugs in the hallways and rooms are a trip hazard. The grip tape is loose in places, and they would be better removed entirely. * The unused scenic but empty room on the 8th floor would make an excellent and inexpensive gym. A gym, even a simple one, is a valuable addition. Overall, this is a great hotel, and these are just quick wins to make it even better."

A high value hotel with unique design, excellent service and located in the heart of the city. We spent very relaxing 3 days and 2 nights after our long travels to Laos. I can highly recommend this property everyone who plans to visit Vientiane The location of the hotel is just great! You are in the middle of the main attractions, night markets are just 1 min walk; but you don’t get disturbed by the noise at all when you are in the hotel The room we stayed in was very clean, tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. There are not so many rooms in the hotel, so that even the hotel is full (and in our case, we were there during new year’s celebrations, imagine how full it was :)), you don’t see any crowds Their breakfast was the best I have had for long time in the hotels. They have a la carte options, and you can order any of them as much as you want. Don’t miss their rice flour pancake with turmeric. The restaurant looks very stylish and the staff has been very kind and friendly There is a roof top pool in the property, which not only allows to have a wonderful view on Vientiane but as well enables a relaxing swim after a long day of sightseeing Overall, we made very good experience and can highly recommend this property

We came here because of they have draught beer. Beer was good and the music is fantastic! It's literally my playlist (90s-2000s). Food was a bit disappointing but I cannot really expect much from a bar. The sauce of the chicken wings was good but there were only 5 small pieces 😒 Their padthai was good but serving was really small. Get your drinks here but eat somewhere else.

I was here years ago, but it's one of my best memories of Vientiane! Very cool vibe, nice drinks, and great views. I'll be back in the area soon, and this will 100% be one of my first stops!

Stumbling upon the Laodi Bar while making my way down the less-popular end of the Mekong, I found this to be one of the best bars in Vientiane on all fronts. Fashioned in old sheet metal with a chic-industrial look upon the decaying fascade of a former hotel, inclusive of graffiti, this bar is owned by Laodi Agricole, a Japanese-Lao rum distillery in the Vientiane provinces. Say what you will of gentrification, the friendly, knowledgeable staff - including a wonderful Japanese bar manager - quality products, and fantastic view at sunset make this a guaranteed winner. Quite surprised this one has flown under the radar thus far. Certain to be a hit with the Western crowd.

The burger bun and patty were delicious, but the fries were awful. They had a fishy smell, like the oil had gone bad. I’m certain they’re using old oil. The beer had a nice aroma, but it was almost flat, with barely any carbonation, making it taste bland. It really feels like things are not being managed properly. I hope the owner, not just the staff, sees this.

Cool space and great beer names. Only did one tasting platter that has 3 different types. None of them were for me, but maybe just need to try some different ones next time.

Great local brewery with lots of house made craft beers. Super cozy, friendly style atmosphere with big shareable tables and a great selection of beer. My only issue is that it's a cash only establishment. No credit cards and no tabs allowed. I understand, but as an international traveler, it's hard to carry around millions of LAK (kip) for only having a few beers. Otherwise, I highly recommend the place. No service staff, only order at the counter. Also a bit annoying, but doable. Need to brush up on their service abilities and it would be a 5 star place

Great place for craft beer, very near my location so i go often go here for a quick evening drink, location is very easy to locate. They have a good parking but not for so many cars but a decent number, The ambiance is very good, staff is very friendly and helpful. Everyone must try all beers here and every Thursday they a language exchange club also so a great place to chill and have fun with friends.

9 craft beers on tap but only had 5 in stock. It was the same the last time I went here 3 months ago. The burger was ok. the french fries tasted awful. Old oil I ate about 25%.

This cigar lounge is the best in Vientiane city, good food and delicious cigars and many good. Rare offerings of beers. You can also bring your own cigar and the fees are minimal, excellent place to enjoy an afternoon

Came for the drinks. Huge selection of drinks, draft, bottle and canned. Nice chilled atmosphere and we certainly enjoyed our drinks. Excellent take away prices, shame we were only staying for one night, otherwise we would have stocked up.

good place to have imported classical craft beers and chill. unfortunately there were no other guests during our 1-hour stay, despite the good ambience and tasty food. it's quite sure the main reasons are price settings, and a bit too luxurious surroundings. prefer more casual concept, maintaining good quality of beer and food. kasteel fruit beer is especially recommend - smooth, sweet, very aromatic. also, nice collection of bottled beers and glasses.

I hate leaving bad reviews, especially when I didn’t get a drink. I liked the atmosphere. The manager, was drinking at a nearby table. She seemed very nice. Ordered a simple mixed drink. The 2 young male bartenders were concentrating all their effort towards 2 young ladies at the bar (which I understand but after taking care of business). After ordering, waited 5 minutes as they played grab-fanny with the girls. I was the only other customer. I never saw them start to make my drink. “Manager” said nothing. I cancelled and departed. What a shame. Good customer service is the easy part.

I recently visited Cocoon and had an amazing experience! The bar is tucked away in a cool location, but once you step inside, the vibes are unbeatable. The mixologists were so talented and made some of the best drinks I've ever had. Tiger and Nam were especially cool. Even though not all of the them spoke fluent English, they were still able to make great recommendations and provide top-notch service. Its a really great place whether you’re drinking solo or with a group of friends. I loved the cool atmosphere and would definitely recommend Cocoon to anyone looking for a unique and fun night out. Absolutely loved this place! I have been to many cocktail bars in Bangkok and I’d say this place is definitely up there on top of my list! The main bartender guy is top-notched. After a few drinks and some chatting he figured out what we like. Don’t even have to look at the menu, just tell him what you what and he will make a perfect drink for you. The place is not large in size with not too many seatings but I think it is an advantage because it makes the atmosphere more friendly and intimate. Would love to visit again if there’s a chance!

Absolutely fantastic nights at TG clubs. Enjoyed the company of local ladies with their friends. Insane DJ remix and performers ' dancing. Beer Lao is the choice. Though we ordered liquor and cocktail, but I wouldn't try. Be warned that music can be very loud. My ears are half deaf after come back for the first time. So I wore a pair of ear buds for the second time being there. By the way, the security guards are over friendly. They treat VIP customers like a king. Do not be surprised, they will give you a shoulder massage when you pee in the toilet. Maybe because I tipped them well with $$.

Club is good, but they have limited food, and it seems like they made this club for Chinese. Club music tastes is very bad. They don't play international music

This is one of the funniest bar I ever walked in to. And I have been in many bars, 35 years in service business as a chef. Been many beers and drinks in a bar somewhere after work. It is so much good mode here. And irony, sarkasm. And I got a ride in the owners Mercedes model 1956. I really recomend this place. Don't get offended. The sarkasm and dirty language is here at least 3000% over level. Maybe more. So just relax take some "potty language" you will love it. And I also tried the marockan food. Beef Tajin. VERY VERY GOOD. Tender meat. Good spicies. Bread. Dip eat enjoy the moment.

i saw their Ads at Trip. com , when early check in is possible if room is available. i arrive 10 am and request room if possible. They said policy is check in time - 2pm. I waited until that time. Very interesting there is no one inside the Room. Spaces are available. I surprised their kindness. and rooms are at 3rd floor. Room is narrow. and very closed to another bed space. and I requested to switch on lighting at 2nd floor ( their lobby area, and co working space. ) The reception main lady said . Cannot open. so that room is darkness at night time and useless. i decided no more again this Hostel. I didn't get satisfaction about reception Ladies. Then I went down to the 1st floor from my 3rd floor room. really disappointed.. blacklist.

Our experience was let down by the main lady at reception who was pretty rude and unhelpful. False advertisement re the complimentary drink. We didn’t get any free drink even after asking. I’m not sure why they had a sign there. The drinks made by the lady at the cafe were wonderful and she was very nice. Room was fine and clean and air con was good. Showers were pretty dated and could do with an upgrade.

Man Cave hostel is in a really convenient location. The room was spacious. The bed and blanket were very comfortable. The shared bathrooms and areas were clean. It was very convenient having the restaurant attached. We had dinner day the evening we arrived and it was tasty. We had breakfast included in our stay which was very nice. We were able to book our onward transport from the hostel too.

After we came back from shopping, we found that someone else was sleeping in our bed. That person was very rude, smelled of alcohol, and got angry with us.
