Bottega Campagne is a charming Italian restaurant that offers a cozy ambiance and delicious food, making it perfect for a romantic date night or a fun girls' night out. The restaurant has an Italian cottage feel and serves generous portions of delectable dishes. While the menu selection may be on the smaller side, the English menus and QR code ordering system make it easy for visitors to place their orders.
Yum, yum, yum! We love this quaint place. The atmosphere is lovely and intimate. It can be the perfect date night spot or a great place for a family meal. There is an english digital menu and QR code ordering. The staff is extremely helpful and wonderful with service. Our food has always been fresh and fast. Portions are a perfect size for two making it easy to share multiple appetizers. We love trying their different desserts. Overall one of our favorite local Italian restaurants.

Love this restaurant as a cute date night or a girls night out! The Italian cottage feel and the amazing food really made it feel like a little Italy. The portions are large but the selection is on the smaller side. The menus are in English as well as a QR code ordering system makes ordering as a visitor a breeze. We got their meat sauce red pasta, margarita pizza, and their fruit pizza. Everything was delicious for having Italian food in the middle of Japan but not the best food every. Parking was easy to find and free and the service was very good.

This is a really good Italian restaurant in Iwakuni about 8 minutes from the base. The pizza is fantastic with a really nice thin crust with lots of choices of pizza. You can order online with a QR code at the table or by using the button to call the server. The antipasto platter was good and basically nothing was bad. The gelato was good as well The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and they even had Italian music. You can’t go wrong with this Italian Restaurant in Iwakuni.

The pizzas were amazing! I am a huge fan of done oven pizzas. Highly recommend it. My daughter wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese carbonara. It was not what she was expecting. It was good don't get me wrong, only hit I would say would be if was too peppery.
Ron B — Google review
I’ve been twice for lunch and adore this place. The atmosphere is cool / trendy and the food has been excellent. Wait service leaves room for improvement, possibly due to the language barrier. But the chefs (owners?) are cheery, friendly, and show appreciation to diners upon entrance & departure. Both the pizza and pasta are my go-to. If you order pasta and don’t want al dente, be sure to let them know to cook slightly longer. I’ll let the pics do the talking for this review!
Charlie — Google review
They just opened up again after being closed for renovations. I love what they did to both the outside and the inside. I went today for lunch and they only have sets at lunch time. I chose the B Set, which allows me to choose an appetizer, a main, and a drink. It also come with a piece of garlic bread. For the main, I was able to choose from a list of pizzas and pastas. I chose a pizza. For my appetizer I chose the carpaccio. Everything was good! The B set was ¥1600 plus tax, but I ordered a pizza that had an additional charge so my lunch came to ¥2,090 with tax. A little bit pricey for lunch, but worth it. I was very full when I left. I think next time I’ll try the less expensive set. The menus are in Japanese and English. There is parking right next to the restaurant, and more parking right behind the restaurant. The service was really great and the staff was friendly. Great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. They also do takeout for their pizzas.

Staff is very kind and busy. It look a little to be seated but the food was worth every bite. Would definitely come back for a special occasion.

Nestled in the heart of Iwakuni, SAKO Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that captures the essence of Japanese cuisine. With its inviting atmosphere and a menu brimming with authentic flavors, SAKO has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers an array of traditional dishes that showcase the rich culinary heritage of Japan, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to indulge in delicious meals.
Just visited this spot today cause I've been craving a good BLT and everyone knows you don't mess with pregnancy cravings ;p but OH MY GOODNESS the owners here are SO NICE! They made me feel right at home even though I only stopped in for take out. The quality of the food is excellent and the atmosphere of the entire restaurant is so welcoming I couldn't help but to hop on here and write a review. I highly recommend trying SAKO for any of your cravings cause they have the whole package here! Will definitely be one of my regular lunch spots! :)
Alana S — Google review
A good spot if you’re craving a tasty sandwich. The sandwiches themselves are definitely the highlight here and worth coming for. The sides, however, were hit or miss. Some items didn’t match the photos on the menu, and the flavor wasn’t quite there. The cheese sticks were okay, but not what I had originally picked out. The fries also weren’t actually fries at all—they came out as thick potato wedges. The cinnamon sticks did look like the photos but fell short on flavor. On the bright side, the staff was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere had a very US-friendly and inviting feel. Overall, the sandwiches make this place worth a visit, but I’d be cautious with the sides.

Best B.L.T. around! Fresh ingredients and hand made onion rings! The staff is welcoming. The restaurant is clean and has amazing light.
Mitchel D — Google review
This place was great. The owner and the staff were wonderful, greeting everyone with a big smile and seemed to know most of the customers by name. We ordered the tuna sandwich, the fried chicken cheese sandwich, the onion rings, and the fried camembert cheese, half spicy and half plain. All the food was well made and very tasty, although I probably won't get the spicy camembert again. Not because it tasted bad, it was just that the cheese flavor and the pepper flavor kept getting in each other's way. My personal opinion. One thing I would recommend to the owner, offer the salad with the fried camembert on top. That combination was pretty good. We ended up taking half of the chicken sandwich to go as it was quite big.
Suleman S — Google review
This is the world famous Sako BLT. You’ve gotta try it at least once in your life.
Brian G — Google review
The food was amazing!! I really enjoyed the BLT with avacado and cheese. My little girl and myself loved the cheese pastry puff as well. Soo buttery tasting and yummy. The owner was also very friendly. I will be back next time I am in town for sure! This is a must go to spot.

Indian restaurant
Ganesh Indian Restaurant in Iwakuni is a popular spot known for its delicious Indian cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of meal sets that include fresh and delectable dishes such as vegetables, salads, chicken, naan, and a wide selection of flavorful curries. The friendly staff provides quick service in a clean environment. Visitors highly recommend trying the garlic naan and Indian Gyoza while enjoying the affordable prices.
We started coming here in 2004 regularly until 2006…now we’re back again and thrilled to have Ganesh still here. Now with 2 locations! We typically get a ‘meal set’ since there are multiple items & a beverage included. The food is always superb; vegetables / salads are fresh & delicious, chicken & nan are freshly prepared in the tandoori, and curry selection is vast & delectable. - A meal set is an abundance of food for an individual. - The spice levels are easily managed using their scale - Level 2 is all I can do but requires a large beer 😃 - If you’re close, give it a try. Especially if you’ve never had Indian food.
Charlie — Google review
Conveniently located on Yellow Brick Road. The food was outstanding—bursting with flavor and offered at a very reasonable price. Though the restaurant itself is on the smaller side, it’s thoughtfully designed and has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes it inviting. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and a nice bonus is that they provide a parking ticket, so you don’t have to worry about the extra cost.

“Hello my friend!” A beautiful introduction from our very friendly yet professional manager of the restaurant on yellow brick. The wife and I absolutely love this place, and I’m sure all the people exploring Iwakuni have stopped because of the beautiful aroma coming from the restaurant. Ganesh is an amazing, you cannot deny the amazing taste and how polite everyone is. This establishment is a must visit!

My husband came to Japan several years ago and I have heard about this place ever since. Now I'm here and it definitely lives up to the hype. I've not had a bad meal yet and that garlic naan is amazing. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and they have no issue switching back and forth between the multitude of languages they speak. The service is also quick and the prices are very affordable. If you're in the area, do not miss this one!

Kinjiro is a yakiniku restaurant in Iwakuni that offers a fantastic group dinner experience. They have a private room with comfortable floor seating for eight people. The restaurant serves high-quality meats and vegetables, which are both delicious and reasonably priced. The salad is excellent, with a dressing that enhances its flavors. Additionally, their french fries are also very tasty, seasoned with roasted garlic and herbs. The service at Kinjiro is friendly and efficient, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.

Daryl — Google review
(Translated by Google) We visited as a couple on a Saturday evening and were shown to a counter seat. There are 3-5 types of meat per page, and the photos are large, which is nice, but the menu has so many pages that you have to flip through several to see everything, which is a pain. Basically, it's just so expensive. It's only natural that something is expensive and delicious, but I think that cheap and delicious will become popular. It was nice that they absorbed the smoke from the grilling process so that the smell didn't linger. I also thought it was great that you could get a free pudding if you answered a questionnaire. But still, about 20,000 yen for two people is too expensive, and it's hard to use on a regular basis. Also, if you order "Koune," which can be eaten in Hiroshima and Yamaguchi, it comes with a sauce made of sliced raw onions and ponzu sauce. It costs an additional 99 yen for the second one, and I only found out about that on the receipt after paying. Shouldn't they tell you when you order? If you order one koune and there are five of you, you are charged an extra 99 yen x 4 people = 396 yen without being told, which I find hard to accept. The meat was delicious, but the restaurant had a slightly strange atmosphere.
YU & — Google review
(Translated by Google) Not only was the meat rich, tender, and sweet, but it was also great that we could enjoy a relaxing family time in a private room, and all the service came at the perfect time. Also, the staff were very lively😊 I also thought it was nice that there was a counter where it would be easy to eat even if you came alone🫶🏼 (Original)

Conveyor belt sushi restaurant
Family restaurant
Takeout Restaurant
I admire the efficiency of Kura Sushi, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The process is simple: you check in at the kiosk and receive your ticket and table number. With guidance from screens and arrows, you find your table and help yourself to unlimited green tea and various sushi options. Ordering is convenient with the tablet offering an English option.
We took our soccer team here and had a great time. The food was good and the service was great.
Jm F — Google review
Kurazushi is my favorite of the conveyor belt sushi chains. Somewhat recently the prices of the dishes have gone up by ten to fifteen yen. You can no longer get any dishes for one hundred yen. This makes Kura's competition a much better value for most people, but the selection of sushi here is of a higher quality and made with more care. At the competition, I often find my fish easily falls off the vinegared rice, but at Kura, it stays on. The care of the torching of food is better here too. Lastly, the quality of the tempura is high. It has crispy shards of batter and does not feel overly greasy. This location is nice because you can get a lot done in the strip mall. The grocery store, bookstore, and clothing store are very convenient. The parking is very easy and only gets really bad during the weekend.
David P — Google review
If sushi isn’t your thing, this might not be the best spot to try it. They do offer other options, like chicken and ramen, but I found those lacked good flavor. The one standout, however, was their egg burger—absolutely amazing and packed with flavor! The restaurant offers plenty of seating and is very reasonably priced, with most dishes around ¥400 or less. A great option if you’re looking for something tasty without breaking the bank.
Anthony S — Google review
So this place is great to grab a quick bite with your wife or the whole family. They have games and cooked food that is not sushi. I love this place go!

This conveyer belt sushi restaurant in the Fresta mall is very affordable. You can place your order by the tablet at your table or take it off of the conveyer belt as it passes by. Zubora Sushi is a Japanese izakaya restaurant known for serving delicious sushi in Iwakuni. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh fish and vegetables, making it a great spot for those seeking authentic Japanese cuisine. While it may be slightly expensive, the quality of the food makes it worth trying, especially for those tired of conveyor belt sushi. Great sashimi and sushi restaurant. Really authentic atmosphere with traditional sushi chefs and local decor. You can get food by the plate of set meals. We tried lots of different plates.

Make sure to preorder a dinner set if you plan on ordering one. We didn't find this spot till last second so we didn't have the opportunity to try their dinner set(s). They have an English menu if needed. The fish and veggies are superbly fresh and I'd have to say it's hard to say finding a spot like this in LA is almost impossible. Not for the types looking for Americanized sushi rolls, but a must spot if you're into non watered down Japanese food. Nice and cozy, hole in the wall spot. The two of us walked out full and content with a tiny bill of $52. Can't beat that. Definitely want to go back!

I’ve been going here for years and the food is always delicious!! When I go, I have to order their yakitori and their yaki musubi (grilled rice ball). The assorted sashimi platter is always a must too. The sashimi is always really fresh. I think the prices are reasonable for the quality of food that is served. English menu is available.

This place was just what I needed. It was not too crowded when I went in so I just sat at the counter and asked the fellow to give me whatever he thought was good. I got some sweet salted sardine sized fish in picked onions, a sashimi selection and some calamari.

Chacka likey, the rolls were super tasty and prices not to bad in yen. We gobbled down a ton of it on our way out of town. Super clean and neat inside. Filled up on way to catch the Shin....

$$$ Yes its a bit expensive but worth a try if youre already tired of conveyor type sushi. Located close to the Iwakuni Train Station just beside the Osaka Yakitori (which is also good, I made a separate review for this), quite easy to find. Payment: Cash, Credit Card (they accept major credit cards) Price: the photo attached here with costs us 1,000 yen. Waiting Time: sushi are made with fresh fish and sea stuffs, if they run out of it and means its done. 1 platter (see pic attached) took 15ish minutes to be prepared coz the restaurant is almost full. Good thing we ordered skewers which is tasty too! Reservation: i dont actually know if they take up reservation, but when we came here around 6:30ish seats (Table type for 4 people) are almost full but they have a few seats available on the counter which I recommend! Coz you get to see the display of fresh meat and how they make your sushi fresh and clean and fast. Language: they have an english menu available. Staff: i could say they are okay.

Rai Rai Tei is a chain restaurant located near Iwakuni Station, making it a convenient dining option for tourists. The restaurant offers customizable ramen sizes and quick service during lunch hours. While the ramen may not be exceptional, it provides a satisfying meal, especially when paired with their flavorful fried rice. The establishment caters to foreign visitors and offers set meals that include ramen, fried rice, and gyoza.
My favorite Ramen place, great flavor broth and noodles, don't know how noodles are injected with flavoring but they are. Incredible gyoza. Good service. I call this my Waffle House ramen, slippery on the inside but great food!

At first the touch panel for ordering is not working, so we need to ask to reset it. Then the food came, ramen 7/10, pork kimchi 10/10, udon 10/10 (partner’s).

Had the miso kimchee ramen & pork ramen , kimchee rice, really good! Quick service & the staff was very helpful on assisting with us ordering since we dont know much Japanese. You order on a tablet at your table & they drop it off to you. There are tables & some bar type seating stools in front of the kitchen window area. Space is kinda packed so it feels a tad hectic in there from the slight Level of noise but the food is great! Would return.

The restaurant has friendly and fast service, despite limited English spoken by the staff. Customers can easily order from an English menu with picture references. It's known for its excellent ramen and food choices, making it one of the best ramen places in Iwakuni and eastern Yamaguchi.
Ramen is good-thin noodles and rich broth. A few different styles to choose from including one with “special pork”. Fried rice and gyoza are great. The service is fast and friendly. Had the extra spicy ramen. Pretty sure the chili powder was made from habaneros. There were only two thin slices of pork and half an egg for the proteins. Pretty decent, not too bad.
Mr. H — Google review
If you enjoy traditional thin noodle creamy broth ramen this place is for you! You select what you want from a vending then show the cooks your order. They have different types of toppings as well of spice levels. (Heads up, spicy is very spicy). There is 4-5 tables that seat 4 each as well as a bar that seats around 10. Tight quarters but clean. Past their main door they have a parking lot that can fit around 8-10 cars. It’s tight but free!

Yamabiko is one of my top two ramen restaurants in Iwakuni. The noodles are done perfectly and the broth wakens the soul even on a hot summer day. I plan to tell all my friends about this wonderful little place.

Hands down one of the best ramen places in Iwakuni, and perhaps eastern Yamaguchi. Excellent ramen, excellent food options, friendly staff. Cash / coin only, “vending machine” payment style ramen. Great experience, very close to Fresta. Highly recommend for all lovers of ramen.

Really great, thick broth without being oily, was very spicy and lots of noodles.

The ramen is one of the best in the area. I love the cozy feel inside. My kids love selecting their food items vending machine style. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Above average ramen. The parking lot is super small and can be very difficult to get in and out of when it's busy.

Japanese restaurant
Ryotei restaurant
Seafood restaurant
Fukugen, a Japanese restaurant in Iwakuni, offers a delightful dining experience for seafood enthusiasts. Without a reservation, one may face a wait until 13:30 after the store opens. To avoid this, it is advisable to make a reservation beforehand. The kaisendon set meal priced at 1,700 yen provides generous portions and surprises diners with its thickly cut sashimi.
Rooftop dining with an all-you-can-eat/drink option for 4500¥. Great atmosphere for a social gathering but not somewhere you would want to bring kids. Some of the seafood options are still alive (so prepare mentally for your shrimp to attempt an escape). Take the elevator to the top deck; the bathroom is in the corner by the (locked) steps leading up to a smaller roof.

Great seafood. The kaisendon is excellent for sashimi/seafood lovers. Lunch is very economical.

(Translated by Google) First time here for lunch. I ordered the seafood bowl set meal (1,700 yen). It was very satisfying with lots of seafood on top. Not only was the bowl delicious, but the chawanmushi was also surprisingly tasty. When going up/down to the parking lot, be careful not to scrape the bottom of the bumper spoiler, etc.

(Translated by Google) I went there a little after 1pm. I was shown to a private Japanese-style room, and although the restaurant was bustling with customers, I was able to dine quietly by myself. The food was served incredibly quickly from the time I ordered. Maybe it was because it was near the end of the day? The portions were huge. Those with smaller appetites might find it difficult. Some of the toppings were 2cm long. The crab was twice the size of my hand. I'm not a big fan of shrimp, but there was no odor, and this was the first time I'd ever tried shrimp in a dish like this. The chawanmushi was also incredibly delicious. I walked there from the station, and as everyone has said, the parking lot is quite steep... What!?

Nestled in Iwakuni, the Indian Nepali Restaurant Taj is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its consistently delicious food and extensive menu, Taj caters to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike, making it a welcoming spot for everyone. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, with attentive staff who ensure excellent service throughout your visit. Guests rave about the generous portions of meals served hot and fresh.
Delicious curry and tandoori; awesome, happy service. Kid friendly, English menus. The samosas are top notch & the naan is thick and glorious. Huge pieces; share the garlic cheese naan among the table and everyone will be happy. We like everything we’ve tried here, all across the menu.

Absolutely top notch and I know Indian food well. The flavors burst in your mouth and all the food was amazing. The Mano and Guava lassi was so delicious. The staff were so kind, they greeted my son who visits the restaurant often because he lives here. One of the best meals of my trip to Japan by far.
Sandra C — Google review
This Indian restaurant is one of the best in Iwakuni. Customer service was at its best and cleanliness as well. The wait for food wasn’t long at all and even if it was the wait would’ve been worth it. Very authentic recipes, delicious and tasty food. The Nan was spectacular. We ordered the chicken Marsala and curry chicken level 3, spicy shrimp, garlic and onion curry rice. My son ordered fried wings with potato fries. Everything was 5star. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. Definitely coming back. Oh and prices were great for the amount of food.
Dikendra M — Google review
Taj is a very good place for Indian and Nepali food. I find the service to be very good and accommodating. The parking area is ample and is usually easy to get in and out of. The staff are always very proper and kind. I have eaten here about three times and have enjoyed my meals. I ordered the plain naan and the chicken tikka, everytime. The naan is a served very hot and fresh. There is a bounty of butter slathered across the top and the bottom of the bread is usually crunchy and well-browned. The chicken tikka is generously three-pieces and a small side salad. The chicken is nicely spiced and is very juicy. I really like getting three-pieces for the order as it is a good value for the money. Overall, I think Taj is a very good restaurant and is in my rotation of Indian restaurants around Iwakuni city. I will be back for the nice service and very good Indian food.

Maple City Miyajimaguchiten is a charming Italian eatery nestled along Route 2 in Otake City, conveniently located near the ferry terminal to Miyajima Island. This cozy restaurant may be easy to overlook, so asking locals for directions can be helpful. Diners rave about the diverse menu, which features a delightful lunch set that includes an array of dishes such as carpaccio and delectable desserts.
Great pasta, perfectly prepared al dente. Biggest bonus: they know enough English to adjust a menu option for a vegetarian. I had spaghetti with tomato sauce, mushrooms and fresh mozzarella. 😋 Husband had seafood pasta and reports it was also delicious. 😋 Would definitely return. 🌏✌️

Superb little pasta restaurant located near the ferry to Miyajima island. Had the meat and mushrooms (tomato based sauce). Pasta is cooked el dente. Meat is shabu shabu and very tender. Sauce is very light with very mild acidity. Seemed like a 2 man show which is impressive.

I have been to this place twice because of its awesome food and reasonable price ( menu set for about 20 euro) For the bread I recommend garlic one and for the pasta seafood is better. For the drink caramel tea and Japanese beer are both good.

Decent food but the service and turnout was SO slow that once we eventually got most of our order, and finished it, we still had not received our last entrée. Due to language barrier I thought the server didn't understand or forgot. It was only when we got up to leave did the server stop us and said the entrée was going to be ready in 8 minutes- but since they don't offer take-out or boxes for leftovers, we chose to leave without it.

Me and my hubby are a big fan of this place not until they made some changes with the menu and it's taste... first our favorite cheese platter, it used to have a cream cheese in the middle with honey, it's gone. They changed it with cuts of Blue Cheese... (yuck) I mean i love blue cheese but in a platter? nahh it just something that ruined my appetite. So yeah, their cheeses aren't that good as it used to be. Cream cheese with honey is way better!. And the free shredded cheese and sliced of baguettes, it has a lot of cheese before, now it's like they don't wanna give extra anymore. Fries is new to us but it's so fried that it became crunchy...oh my god.. smh.. then! my favorite Chicken Teriyaki pizza is too salty now! plus they put pieces of cabbage which is sooooo weird and it doesn't taste good in the pizza. So yupp! it just ruined our Valentine dinner date because we made a reservation here for a reason... (because we love their cheeses and pizzas). We had a gross dinner but it's okay cuz it wasn't that expensive (for my hubby,, for me, it is expensive).Mango fizz is alright for those people who likes carbonated drinks. I ordered it cuz i thought (non-alcoholic drinks) is just a "juice" but it's carbonated drink so i was disappointed TOO cuz im a handicap person. Carbonated beverages is not good for my condition but i still drank it (just thought it's just for one night). Well, i think it will be our last night going there. We're disappointed with the new menu. Not good at all. We still ate it (just took the pieces of cabbage out) because we're hungry. So thanks Esola. We expected the old menu. We're not coming back. I'm just being way to honest, sorry. Oh the pizza got toooo thin too!. It's like eating a mushy paper.

Food was not it. Ordered items didn’t look like the picture. I understand items never look like the picture but this was wild. Feels like more of a bar than a restaurant. A lot of great choices for drinks. But I wouldn’t come back for the food. Pizza was undercooked. Gummy. Not what you want from a pizza. Domano’s pizza is better than this. Pasta was really watery.
Kayla T — Google review
Really delicious food, got the Margherita pizza which could have used a little more sauce but was still yummy. I love a fresh thin crust pizza. I got a non-alcoholic grapefruit fizz which was also good. Will definitely be back to try more things.
Danica M — Google review
Cool and stylish Tokyo vibes. Makes sense that this place is always packed. They have WINE all you can drink for 3 hours but there were only a few options so we decided to get a la cart drinks. My friend ordered italian beer, smelled awful but taste better than expected. Whole Camembert Eruption was too salty, the cheese didn’t really “cheese”, hard to explain but if you tried both Japanese cheese and cheese from other countries you’d know what I mean. Staff are young, I think most of them just started working here apparently they are a bit unprofessional. We didn’t make a reservation but the place had plenty vacant tables at the moment but the staff insisted us to sit at the counter. Dishes and glasses were not clean, clearly I could see fingerprints on everything. Hope the restaurant at least have their hygiene improved.

Chikara Sushi is a must-visit destination for seafood lovers, offering an unforgettable dining experience with stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea. Known for its impressive jumbo sushi, this restaurant serves up generous portions that are not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. Diners can enjoy a variety of fresh seafood dishes, including tempura paired with delightful sauces. While the sushi's large size may require some cutting skills and optional wasabi to enhance flavors, it’s all part of the fun!
You can try any kinds of cuisine with fresh seafoods. Sushi is famous as large size and tasty. You should try once. However I recommend you to visit by a car. You can also visit by train but you have to walk for long time from the nearest station.

This sushi place is famous for it's jumbo sushi. It is definitely interesting! It is a bit hard to eat and requires the use of a knife to cut up the larger parts. It is also optional to have wasabi . Pizzeria Da Hachi is a cozy Napoli-style pizzeria known for its wood-fired brick oven pizzas. The menu offers a variety of options, including salads, Caprese, antipasto, and an assortment of pizzas. English menus are available for easy ordering. It's recommended to make reservations due to limited seating or opt for takeout. The owners are friendly and everything is made to order. The Quatro Formaggi pizza and Marinara pizza are highly recommended.
Cool little pizza shop in the middle of a neighborhood. The couple working the counter were very kind and and the pizza was great. I had the lunch special with the Lusso pizza. The crust was especially noteworthy. The pizza itself was delicious, and the appetizer was good, too.
Brice D — Google review
The pizzas we tried are really GOOD!. Each pizza is expensive though for just a small size of pizza, which is medium size for Japanese people. And when you walk in, i got a bit confused for a moment if it's a restaurant or a house because there's children on a couple tables close to the cashier. Probably the owner's kids.. nothing is wrong with that but if you want your restaurant to look nice and formal (especially if your restaurant is "Italian") kids should be at home.. just my opinion. I don't mean anything bad. But we're planning to go back to try their other pizzas, maybe some salad and some appetizers too. We loved the wood fired oven! lol. Also, this place is located at a narrow street of a neighborhood which you might think there's no parking for people who have cars, but its parking is just right across the street. No one would know since it looks like just some apartment's parking lot so i was worried at first where to park but i got off the car and asked inside the restaurant and they pointed it out. Glad they have them lol. You all must give this a try especially for pizza lovers! :)

Pretty sure this is the only place around with Firestone oven pizza. They’ve got a nice mix — Margherita, Carbonara, seafood, to name a few — plus a solid wine and drink menu. Prices are a bit steep though, and you can only pay by card if you spend over ¥3000.
Anthony S — Google review
I used the Pizzeria Da Hachi on a Saturday in early autumn, around 12:30 pm. Even if I sleep in, by the time I want to eat pizza I am worried it will be too busy. Actually, when I arrived, there was only one other group at a table. I recommend sleeping in to make sure you can be seated. As for parking, at first it seemed impossible. There is nothing but apartment parking here! Actually, when I look closely I see the cheeky signs with the number eight on them… the whole parking lot is for pizza lovers! Five spots in all. Even a moderately skilled driver will smoothly park the car. Walk in the entrance. It’s open? The air comes and goes, giving a fresh autumn feel. As the wind tugs at my hair the owner asks how many it is and directs you to the table. The impressive oven is enjoyable to look at and smells like burning wood. The restaurant feels relaxed, like a home. The owner’s kids are drawing at one of the tables. When I look at the menu, I am surprised it says ordering a drink is required! For customers who are not thirsty the requirement is a quite… well, it may increase the pressure! As for me, we saw the blood orange and thought it was a soda. I was surprised when I saw it is a juice. Actually, juice is preferred with its sour flavour. As for pizza, my wife ordered a プルチネッラ. When I asked her how she liked it she said “It’s good. The flavour balances very well.” I looked for pizza without cheese. There are two. シチリアーナ is what I tried first. The dough is crispy to the teeth, but chewy as well, and gives just the right resistance when cutting each bite with the knife! The sauce is fruit forward, and does not try to hide tomato flavor with oregano, but lets the pure flavor of the fruit shine! The garlic is sweet, and the anchovies swell with flavour. When I brought the fork to my mouth with the last bite, I knew I wanted to have another. Is it unreasonable? My wife encouraged me to be ambitious, and order another pizza. This time it is マリナーラ. I want the tomatoes and the garlic to be the star and the perfect dough the stage they dance on. With every slice of the knife I can feel its chewiness and anticipate the bite. Each bite is a pleasure. The shop is recommended for pizza lovers who know how it should be done correctly; this is a store that can make the true pizza. When I left and thanked the master, in my heart, I knew I want to go back on repeat! Thank you for the meal.
John S — Google review
Quick review. Pizza had good crust on the outer portion but was completely soggy in the middle on both pizzas we ordered. The sauce was completely flavorless. Maybe add some oregano? There could have been more cheese on both pizzas we ordered. The antipasto plate is not a good value at all. Weird combination of items. Four very thinly shaved slices of meat for almost 1600 yen? If you are a pizza place, every table should have at least parmesan cheese and and crushed red pepper flake in shaker containers. This place might have a nice wood fired oven but they still need to work at getting the best out of it. The whole experience lacked flavor.
W T — Google review
This is a cool little Napoli-style pizza joint with a wood-fired 'brick' oven. English menus are available for simplified ordering. However, no credit cards so bring ¥en! I recommend calling for reservations because there is limited seating (5 tables if i recall). Or simply order takeout. We had salads, Caprese, the assorted antipasto, and two pizzas. My wife loved the antipasto, which was a decent sized sampler, and hoarded it! My daughter the same with the Caprese. The pizzas were the best I've found in Japan thus far. The dough was excellent & cooked perfectly to our liking, a slightly crispy crust & soft center with a light touch of char. Both the tomato sauce & mozzarella were superb, flavorful & made for a delicious pie foundation. We had the Margherita & Capricciosa and would certainly order both again. A must-try location if you're a fellow pizza lover. Forgot pics until after gobbling, so just got the menu & oven prior to departure. Bummed. *After writing this, I think I will go again today for lunch!

Great authentic brick oven pizza. The owners are very friendly and everything is made to order. Try come early or get a reservation if you are coming for dinnertime as the place is small and can fill up fast. Last time we came, the place was full 10 minutes after opening. Later in the evening around 8 it's quieter though. The quatro fromagi pizza is very good. Marinara pizza has no cheese but also very flavorful.

Small Hiroshima-Style Okonomiyaki shop located right next to the Iwakuni City hall. Shop is clean, staff is very friendly, and menus are available in English. Okonomiyaki was good, and there are side dishes available. Parking is very limited in front of the shop. Pay parking is available at the City Hall, and the 1st hour is free.

Conveyor belt sushi restaurant
Restaurant
Sushi Go-Round Kaito is an exceptional sushi spot that offers a delightful dining experience. The restaurant has a unique rule where customers are encouraged to always try something new from their extensive menu. With an abundant selection of items, patrons can easily find their favorites. From delicious shrimp with avocado to delectable medium fatty tuna, every dish is incredibly tasty. The simplicity of the place adds to its charm, with a wide variety of sushi always readily available and convenient tablets for ordering.
Such a delicious sushi spot! My family has a rule that we always have to try something new when we come here! And it’s easy to do because there are SO MANY items on their menu. My favorite is the shrimp with avocado, my husband loves the medium fatty tuna. But honestly, it’s all super yummy!
Emily W — Google review
The sushi can be ordered from the tablet (pretty good) and more “normal” items can be taken from the conveyor belt (the Go Around). The servers are great and fun. The sushi sizes are a nice size and after 4 plates, I got full. I could have eaten more but would have been uncomfortable. Try it and I think you’ll really enjoy it!
Robert P — Google review
Not your typical sushi go-round. This one focuses almost entirely on seafood, with only a handful of other options — far more limited than most places, which really took away from the experience. If you’re not a seafood fan, I wouldn’t recommend it. On a positive note, the staff was genuinely friendly, and the food arrived quickly and tasted fresh.
Anthony S — Google review
Very good sushi! Service was good but it's conveyor belt sushi so there is very limited need for service of any kind. Even drinks are generally self serve unless you are getting alcohol. In any event the sushi was very good and prices were very reasonable.

Great food, great quality, friendly staff. Prices can be high for some people but it's worth it. We stopped by when there were only a few customers so the food came out quick.

Great food, great pricing, and a great atmosphere. Definitely will return as there's many favorites on the menu for our family. Edit: Been a few times and the food is always great! Staff is always so nice and it's a joy for the whole family.

Great food, great sushi go round experience. You pay per plate and each plate color has a different price as cheap as 180 yen to 950 yen. Large variety and food was fresh.

Nestled away like a hidden gem, Mameka is a delightful culinary escape that showcases the best of local produce. Each visit promises something unique and delicious, especially with their rotating to-go dinner menu available for pick-up in April. The lunch offerings are equally enticing; patrons rave about the Power Salad paired with Veggie Soup, complemented by sides like pasta and chicken salad.
The food here was fantastic! Great little lunch spot. We had the Power Salad and Veggie Soup set. Both sets came with a side of pasta, chicken and cabbage salad and an egg roll, all of which were very delicious! The sets also include dessert! The food came pretty quickly, but the drinks are made to order and come out with the desserts.

If you find yourself at Iwakuni Station, make sure to stop by Vegetrip Iwakuni Station, a delightful fruit juice bar owned by the esteemed Tanaka Seika. This vibrant spot is perfect for travelers seeking refreshing beverages made from top-quality seasonal fruits. The menu features an array of fresh juices and smoothies, some beautifully adorned with generous portions of fruit. With another location nearby at 18Store, Vegetrip offers a convenient option for those on the go.
I have been to both locations and I have always received good service at both. Sometimes it does take a while if they are busy, but I’m okay with that. If I’m in a rush, I usually order something that won’t take long or grab a sandwich and pressed juice since they usually have some pressed juices pre-made. I love their dessert smoothies, and while they are kind of expensive, I feel that it’s worth it because of all the fresh fruit they put on top. They also sell fruits and vegetables for some reasonable prices so I’ve grabbed some veggies here also.

Hamburger restaurant
Grand Chief is a popular burger joint located near the Atago housing area in Iwakuni. The restaurant, housed in an old-style silver trailer, offers a fun atmosphere and serves up tasty burgers that have received high praise from visitors. In addition to burgers, they also offer chicken wings, hot dogs, and other menu items. The establishment features free parking on-site and even has a drive-through option for added convenience.
First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. The establishment is an airstream trailer converted into a burger kitchen which is pretty unique. The service was fast and very friendly. There are lots of choices on the menu and other items besides burgers. There is as drive through and a few parking spots. The burgers are a little on the small side if you’re used to American sized burgers. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
M H — Google review
Great service, amazing food! You feel the love in these simple home style burgers! Also order medium spice level wings! Very crispy and full of flavor! Was so good I forgot to take a picture of the food. But had to leave a review!
Momo Y — Google review
Easily some of the best burgers in Iwakuni. They were incredibly juicy, and every bite was packed with flavor. The menu is impressively extensive, offering around 30 different types of sandwiches to choose from. The atmosphere is just as unique as the food—it’s set inside a camper with an enclosed deck attached, giving it a cozy and distinctive vibe. It also looked like they were adding outdoor seating, which will make it even better once finished. The only drawback is the pricing. Some sandwiches are on the higher side, and sides or drinks aren’t included. If the prices were a bit lower—or they were combos—this would easily be a 5-star spot.
Anthony S — Google review
Good burgers with a lot of options to choose from. I went with the Grand Chief and the chicken tenders. The burgers don’t have that hamburger Japanese taste like other burger joints and it tastes homemade. The large drinks are huge for Japan standards and everything came out hot. The sitting area is so nice but I would recommend not to go on a particularly hot day as you sit outside but on a cool breezy day it’s really comfortable
Hector — Google review
Felt like I was paying for the atmosphere. Meal came out to 2400 yen. Got a Burger some loaded style fries and a drink. Burger was okay the slice of grilled onion was about the size of the patty so, if you like onion...perfect. The fries came with cheese and bacon...it was cheesewhiz and bacon bits. Location is convenient. Big Menu. Decent amount of parking. They also had a drive through.
Rennick F — Google review
It's a unique burger place. The kitchen is a travel trailer, has a roof, and has a couple of tables. But for what we have seen is a popular place. The hamburger that I ordered was done perfectly, with savory flavor. Fresh French fries. Love it.

Food was good, i think the meat was a little underseasoned but was very juicy. employees were very nice. The portions are small, I recommend ordering 2 burgers if you are expecting American sizes. Seating is all outdoor covered seating. I recommend paying for the Cajun fries, super crispy and delicious Parking on site, English menu available

The burgers and fries were really good! Great “from home” taste with fries that were cooked perfectly. The burger was pretty big and tasted great. The outside looks a bit off but don’t let that fool you. It’s good. Try it!

Nice, fancy Italian restaurant to go on a hot date! The menu is all in Japanese. One of the servers knew a little English (fortunately I also had a translator with me). She also explained what each dish was. The 5 course meal was delicious and didn't disappoint. Need to make a reservation.

Best Italian restaurant, in my opinion. Great course options for groups (with reservation). Ingredients are super fresh and flavors are perfectly matched for each dish. The menu revolves with the seasons so there is always something new and amazing to try. Location is a bit tricky, it's inside a building on the 3rd floor.

Staff was really friendly but service was slow, very slow. Food was ok but everything was douced in olive oil and on the salty side. Portions as usual were on the small side. They also brought things out at odd times. Everyone was just about done eating and then they bring out the baskets of bread that was asked for a while ago.

Been many times! Amazing food! Highly recommend! Much of their menu is locally sourced or grown from their local farm and you can taste their care. I was guided to a seat that looked like a hori kotatsu 🙌 Having a drinking party sitting straight in a tatami room is difficult for the elderly, so it's easy! I ordered using the touch panel, but at first I didn't know how to use it, so I ordered directly from Mr. Cap, but after Mr. Cap's explanation, I was able to order from the touch panel🙏 I had made a reservation for the all-you-can-drink option, so the beer arrived right away, and I had a great time with salads, sashimi, yakitori, edamame, and other dishes. At the all-you-can-drink menu, you can enjoy a wide variety of beer, shochu, highballs, etc. I ordered ochazuke, grilled mackerel, etc. from a separate menu and was satisfied🙌 The taste of the food was delicious, and the customer service was great! I was able to enjoy the seats quietly with no seats on either side of me 👌 The restrooms and entrance were clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. Employee: The taste of the food was too bland, so when I asked if there were any additional seasonings, an employee who seemed to be a part-time worker responded with a lame tone. The customer service attitude is not good. From the phone call to confirm my reservation, they spoke to me in a boring manner, and when I arrived at the store, on the day of my visit, they also spoke to me in a negative tone. When I answered my questions, I felt like I was being made fun of by glaring at them and speaking in an irritated tone.I felt bad. (Translated by Google) I've used it several times and it gets worse each time. Last time, there was no response for about 30 minutes after I was shown to my seat, so when I rang the doorbell, they said, "Are you calling?" Undercooked yakitori, undercooked squid, cold grilled food, sour without alcohol, Muscat sour had no Muscat taste at all and the black tea was just black tea. Emphasis on sales? Cost reduction? That's what I feel. The presentation was so messy that I had to rearrange it before taking a photo. I later realized that I should have just taken the picture. When I entered the store, I said, ``Are you ready to pay?'' When I left the store, when I put my shoes on after paying, I said, ``Thank you for the meal!'' but there was no response from the cashier. The menu table is also sticky. I can't think of a way to recommend it to anyone. The one thing I'm thankful for is the semi-private space that gives you privacy. If the store's service is improved, you will be able to relax and not worry about your surroundings. I went there thinking it would improve several times, or maybe it was just a coincidence, but this time I thought there would be no next time. Worst store I'll never go to again. What do you think of your customers? If you want to enjoy drinking in Iwakuni, we recommend finding another restaurant. I feel like I'm going to get sick from eating raw meat. That's what I wrote in a review from 2 years ago, so I recommend not going there. SRIJANA is a delightful Indian restaurant that truly shines with its mouthwatering spinach curry and exceptional naan. If you're looking for value, the set meal is a fantastic choice, offering an array of dishes including two curries, tandoori shrimp, chicken kebabs, and more—all served with generous portions of naan. The staff at SRIJANA are welcoming and attentive, making your dining experience even more enjoyable.
We arrived at 5:00 PM. The hostess and other staff members were very polite and foreign service friendly. The menu was well thought-out and easy to understand in English and Japanese. The couple set (5600 Yen) included two curries, two naan (including the upscaled naan options), two drinks, a grilled plate of two tandoori shrimp, tandoori chicken, a kebab, and two other roasted chicken thighs plus a salad and the two small soup cups. Take out is ok which is good since we had plenty of leftovers. Tasty food, an easier parking lot compared to other places, and take-out.

If you are looking for the fix for your craving, then this is the spot. This place has unmatched Indian food in Iwakuni city. I come here once or twice a month for the same order every time. I love the chicken tikka and naan. I may occasionally think about trying another menu item, but I am always drawn back to the same order. What I love about the chicken tikka is the flavors are on point. The spice level is pretty mild, to be honest, but the marinade they use is better than what I have tried at the other spots in town. The meat is also juicy and not at all dry. They also are quite generous with the side salad that comes with the chicken and they include a slice of lemon for added flavor for your chicken. I cannot escape talking about the naan. It is tremendous. The standard naan is quite large, a bit bigger than the competing shops and always has a very crispy bottom. The pictures of the naan and chicken you see in my review are the result of me asking for both items to be cooked "extra crispy". I think they came great, but go for the regular cooking if you are unsure if you like your food so crispy. The naan was glorious though. Shattered with every bite and came out glistening in butter/ghee. It looked like a leopard, but tasted like heaven. Overall, this a a jewel in Iwakuni and deserves a car trip to visit, if you are nearby. The food is the star, but the service is very friendly and accommodating. I have been in when they had their lunch rush and it was handled professionally and no one seemed stressed out. Please, make this shop a must-visit on your next trip to Iwakuni.

Great place! The wings and fries are very good. The service is friendly. I will definitely return.

A solid spot for a night out! The staff is friendly and on point with service, and the vibe leans toward rock and alternative music—nothing too heavy, just the right mix to keep the atmosphere lively. Added bonus: they’ve got darts and even a free pool table, which makes it a fun place to hang out beyond just grabbing drinks. Additional they offer a small selection of bar food, including wings.

The atmosphere at this place is fantastic, and the chicken wings here are some of the best I've had in Japan.

Conveyor belt sushi restaurant
HAMA-SUSHI Iwakuni is a great place to enjoy reasonably priced sushi with a wide range of options to suit everyone's taste. It can get quite busy in the early evening, but before that time it is easy to find a seat and receive quick service. Some of their sushi cuts may be frozen and occasionally not completely thawed when served. However, the restaurant offers an enjoyable dining experience with friendly staff and fast food service.
This place was amazing. The conveyor belts are so fast . All of the sushi was fresh and every bit of it looked and tasted delicious. I recommend a lot of the Nigiri. It’s is sweet there is a variety of different kind of soy sauce you can get i recommend trying all of them.
Peter P — Google review
Loved the variety—from classic tuna to adventurous duck and beef nigiri—and the tablet ordering was so easy. The cheese fries were a fun surprise, too! We came just before dinnertime and got seating quickly, but it filled up fast after 5:30 PM. A few nigiri came slightly frozen, but overall very fresh and tasty. Great for families, solo diners, or quick meals after touring Kintai Bridge. ⸻ ✅ Tips • Visit around 11:00–17:00 to skip the dinner crowd. • Order made-to-order plates to ensure freshness. • Grab a side like cheese fries or udon for a heartier meal.

Good spot to get decently priced sushi. Has a wide variety of options for everyone’s taste. It gets quite busy about 5:30-6pm, prior to that it’s easy to get a seat and quick service. Some of their sushi cuts are frozen and sometimes aren’t all the way thawed when they are served.

Good cheap fresh sushi. They have a large selection including duck, beef, and pork. Orders are placed on a tablet (English available) and food delivered to the table on a conveyor belt. New items are regularly added to the menu.

Great food with unbeatable prices. A bit more commercialized but simple. Great for non-Japanese speaking customers as you order on the screen. That being said, you still need to know what to order. It’s all made to order unlike other sushi-go rounds.

Nestled in the vibrant Nakadori Arcade Shopping Arcade, just a short stroll from JR Iwakuni Station, Toriyoshi is a beloved yakiniku restaurant that has been delighting locals for over 40 years. Established 40 years ago, this popular yakiniku and horumon restaurant is beloved by locals. It's a popular spot that requires reservations on weekends. On this particular Saturday night in August, we arrived without a reservation after 8:00 PM. The restaurant was nearly full, but we happened to find one seat available at the counter. The restaurant seats approximately 30 people, with eight counter seats across the central aisle and five four-person tables on a raised platform. Small gas stoves are set up on the tables. The menu includes yakiniku, horumon teppanyaki, a la carte dishes, kimchi, vegetables, soups, and rice dishes. Drinks include beer, highballs, chuhai, sake, shochu, and makgeolli. ●Draft Beer: ¥630 The draft beer is Asahi Super Dry. This generously sized mug offers a satisfying drinking experience. By minimizing the malt content to approximately 70% and increasing the proportion of secondary ingredients (rice and cornstarch), we achieve a clean, refreshing taste with minimal bitterness or sweetness. This light and refreshing beer pairs perfectly with greasy dishes like grilled meat. ●Beef Omen Sashimi (700 yen) Blanched beef omasum (third stomach) is dipped in a sauce made from vinegared miso and gochujang. This offal is characterized by its unique crunchy texture and mild flavor. A cow's stomach has four compartments: the first stomach (mino), the second stomach (hachinosu), the third stomach (omasum), and the fourth stomach (giara). Its unique appearance, characterized by the numerous folds in its stomach wall, gives it the nickname "senmai" (thousand- ... ●Hormone Teppanyaki (One Serving) ¥1,300 A large hotplate (chiritori nabe) is set on a tabletop gas stove, and plump, fresh beef offal (small intestines) is generously piled on top, along with plenty of cabbage, chives, and tofu, all grilled in a unique, spicy sauce. The staff will keep an eye on the pot, occasionally turning the ingredients with a spatula while checking the heat. The dish is ready when the vegetables are cooked through and wilted. The sauce has a punchy flavor with chili peppers and garlic, making it a perfect pairing with beer. ●Udon Noodles (220 yen) To finish off your horumon teppanyaki meal, add udon noodles to the pot for yakiudon. The udon is grilled in a sauce infused with the savory fat of the offal and the sweetness of the vegetables. Each udon noodle absorbs the sauce, creating an addictively delicious dish. Sawa Sushi in Iwakuni is highly regarded for its exceptional sushi. Unlike other establishments, they serve only a meticulously selected course meal prepared by their skilled chef. It's important to note that there is no English menu and the staff doesn't speak English, so it's advisable to make reservations in advance and ideally be fluent in Japanese or have a Japanese companion. This hidden gem is known for treating guests to delicious sushi while providing comfortable hospitality.
The best sushi in Iwakuni by far! No rolls or other “American” stuff, just a course meal hand picked by the Sushi chef. There is no English menu nor does the staff speak English. Reservations must also be made in advance. I do not recommend if you are not looking to spend $100 minimum and if you cannot speak fluent Japanese. Not even Google translate will help you here so come only if you have a Japanese companion.

We had called several times since June to make a reservation, but due to procurement and other reasons, it seems that reservations cannot be made very far in advance, and we were finally able to make a reservation 😊 It was a rainy day in between hot days every day, so the ground was slippery, but the food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers that came out first, which were sea urchin wrapped in conger eel and squid, everything was very delicious. They also chose the brand of sake to suit our tastes, which made the food even more delicious. They are very particular about each dish, and they apparently purchase delicious ingredients from individual suppliers. The nigiri sushi, fatty tuna sashimi, and seared tuna were all excellent. I think the best thing for us was the sea urchin. The pieces were very large and really tasted like the original sea urchin. Thank you for the meal. (Translated by Google) A store of surprising quality in a rural area❗ Due to work, I sometimes go to sushi restaurants in Tokyo that don't take reservations, but when it comes to the balance between sushi technique and taste, there are few restaurants that are better than this one. In particular, please taste the texture of the sushi in your mouth and the balance of taste with the toppings. This is not the kind of sushi you see at top restaurants these days that tricks kids into thinking, ``If you use red vinegar, everything will be delicious, right?'' Enjoy this excitement! Taste it for yourself! Some people say that the prices are high, but if you're in a rural area and have ingredients that are the same or better than the top restaurants in Tokyo, it can't be helped that the prices are high, but you can enjoy even more deliciousness, so the cost performance is quite good. I think so❗ In Tokyo, if you want to eat at this level, the price is much higher than here lol Also, the shop owner is a workman, so be sure to ask for permission before taking photos. IMM Coffee & Roastery is a highly recommended cafe in Iwakuni, offering an incredible chai latte that is truly outstanding. They also have a variety of bags of ground coffee and pour over packs available for purchase, making it the perfect place to satisfy all your coffee needs. This local business provides fresh and never burnt coffee with amazing flavors, surpassing any other coffee I've tried in Iwakuni so far.
Fri-20-Dec-2024 Very neat little cafe & roastery. They have coffees from Africa, South America, Indonesia, and some other parts of the world. The customer service is good; the cashier/barista speaks some English so it makes easy communication with foreigners (non-Japanese speakers). Very helpful and friendly… They sell a variety of cafe drinks and pastries. There is seating inside, maybe for only 2 or 3 people; there is outdoor seating as well. This place is a “grab-n-go” type place; not much seating & dining. Their coffee is super strong, even the regular Americano☕️ (Be Aware! You will get that caffeine high🥴🤣)… I love the atmosphere inside and outside; you can grab a coffee, relax for a few minutes, maybe sit down and watch people go by… It’s only about 5 minutes walk (East) from Kintai Bridge… I will gladly stop by that place for coffee again 😃

Family restaurant
Saizeriya is a popular dining spot in Japan and Okinawa, known for its affordable and quick meals. The restaurant offers a digital ordering system that requires a smartphone. Customers can enjoy a variety of Italian dishes, hamburgers, steaks, escargot, and lamb at budget-friendly prices. Additionally, the establishment is praised for its inexpensive wine selection. Despite some challenges with the digital ordering process, Saizeriya is highly recommended for backpackers seeking delicious yet affordable dining options.
Absolutely! Here's a 500-word, 5-star review explaining why Saizeriya is the best place to eat: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Saizeriya: The Underrated Culinary Gem of Japan If you're searching for an affordable, satisfying, and unexpectedly charming dining experience in Japan, look no further than Saizeriya. Often mistaken as just another budget eatery, Saizeriya is actually one of Japan’s best-kept secrets—a perfect blend of Italian-inspired comfort food, Japanese efficiency, and unbeatable value. After numerous visits, I can confidently say this chain restaurant deserves a solid 5-star rating, and here’s why: 1. Unbeatable Prices Without Sacrificing Quality Let’s start with what grabs everyone’s attention first—the price. Saizeriya is shockingly affordable. We're talking full meals for under 1,000 yen, with many dishes priced between 300-500 yen. And this isn’t cheap filler food—portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are surprisingly well-balanced. Whether you're a broke college student or a salaryman trying to stretch your yen, this place delivers gourmet vibes without the gourmet price tag. 2. Efficient, Fast, and Consistent Service Consistency is where many restaurants falter, but not Saizeriya. No matter where you go—Tokyo, Osaka, or Fukuoka—you’ll find quick service, clean tables, and a streamlined menu system. Ordering is easy, and your food typically arrives within minutes. The staff is courteous, and while you won’t get luxury fine-dining pampering, you will get exactly what you need: fast, friendly, efficient service that respects your time and comfort. 3. Shockingly Good Food for a Chain People joke about "Italian food in Japan," but Saizeriya actually delivers a unique Japanese-Italian fusion that hits the spot. The baked cheesy doria, spaghetti with meat sauce, and grilled escargot are cult favorites for a reason. Everything is designed to be accessible, comforting, and full of flavor. The menu is surprisingly broad—pastas, steaks, pizzas, and even healthy sides like salad and soups—all cooked consistently well across locations. 4. Relaxed, No-Pressure Dining Atmosphere There’s a reason why families, students, and solo diners all flock to Saizeriya: it’s casual, laid-back, and unpretentious. There's no pressure to order drinks, and no one’s rushing you out the door. It’s the kind of place where you can linger over a meal, catch up with friends, or read a book while sipping on unlimited drinks from the all-you-can-drink bar (for a small extra fee). The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and functional. 5. A Staple of Daily Life in Japan What makes Saizeriya truly special isn’t just the food or prices—it’s that it plays a real part in people’s lives. It's the after-school hangout, the quick lunch spot between classes, the quiet place for an affordable dinner alone. It’s part of Japan’s modern cultural fabric—a reminder that great food doesn’t have to come with white tablecloths or sky-high bills. --- In conclusion, Saizeriya isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a humble, dependable gem. Whether you’re a tourist discovering it for the first time or a local who grew up eating here, Saizeriya offers warmth, flavor, and affordability like few others can. Five stars, no hesitation.

I also appreciate that parking is free, and the seats are spacious, so it's great for families and large groups to relax. However, the air conditioning in the restaurant was a little too strong, so it felt a little cold. I was also bothered by the fact that there was some dirt on the bottom of the plates that looked like leftover food from the previous customer. Other than that, I was satisfied, so I'd definitely like to come back!

Sukiya is a fantastic dining option that offers an array of delicious takeout dishes, including beef bowls, pork curry, and even minced tuna bowls. However, the clam soup is a must-try! With its incredibly fast service and consistently tasty meals, Sukiya has become my go-to spot in Japan for quick yet nutritious bites. The affordability makes it perfect for anyone on the move or simply craving something satisfying.
Since arriving in Japan, I’ve been to Sukiya at least 10 times a week—and for good reason. The service is incredibly fast, the food is consistently delicious, and everything is prepared to perfection. It’s also surprisingly healthy and very affordable, making it the perfect go-to spot for a quick, nutritious, and satisfying meal. Whether you’re in a rush or just craving something tasty, Sukiya never disappoints. Highly recommended—10/10!

Indian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Iwakuni, Indian Devi Kurumamachi stands out as a delightful destination for those craving authentic Indian flavors. This charming restaurant offers a warm atmosphere that invites diners to indulge in traditional dishes. Among the highlights are their Tikka Kebab and perfectly cooked Plain Naan, which boasts a satisfying crunch and is generously buttered for an extra touch of flavor.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in Iwakuni! Food and service are both always good! The lunch set is very reasonable. For ¥800 you get to choose a curry, a naan bread, and it comes with a little salad. We also order some chicken to add to our meal. Today we ordered takeout and everything was yummy as usual! They take credit cards.
Iwakuni F — Google review
I have slowly been making my way through all of Iwakuni's Indian-Nepali restaurants. I would have to say my experience at Devi was good overall. The two items I ate were the Tikka Kebab and the Plain naan. The naan was cooked nicely, with a dark brown bottom and good amount of butter slathered on the top. The bottom of the bread was cooked so that the naan had a good amount of crunch whenever I bit into it. I would have liked to see a bit more browning to the top of the naan but it was tasty. The tikka kebab was good as well. I thought it was very tender and spices were pretty standard for Indian shops in this area. I thought the added vegetables on top of the chicken was a nice touch. I would have liked the meat to be a little more browned that mine was. One thing that the competitors to Devi do that I would like to see is serving a small side salad with the chicken. It would also be nice to see the oshibori served in plastic wrappers, for hygiene purposes. Other than those two small squabbles, I think Devi Indian is a very good restaurant that I would visit again when in the area.
David P — Google review
A good spot for Indian food with the right spice kick. The staff was welcoming, and there’s plenty of space whether you’re with friends or dining alone. My only gripe was the portion-to-price ratio on the curry bowls, which felt a little small for the cost. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience overall.

Fantastic food. I'm sensitive to heat, and I got the heat level 5 and it was just right. Enough to make me break out into a light sweat, but not hot enough to burn.

Delicious and fast served food. The nan seeems to have a lot of oil, and kind of crunchy, unlike ganesh, so there is a bit of a difference. The curry is also thicker than ganesh. The price isn't too bad, the devi set is 2200¥

An hour after my online order the tracker finally changed to "your order is in the oven". Eventually it changed to "your order is ready at the counter" so I knew it was updating. However shortly after that the tracking page no longer showed me anything. I checked 3 times that the address was correct (I signed in so it used my usual address), so it shouldn't have been misdelivered. 2+ hours on and no call, email, or notification about my order being cancelled. Tremendously disappointing.

Quick service for my hungry family. We ordered via the website and we picked up within 20 minutes. I didn’t like that the crust is on the dry side but my kid said she likes it “crunchy.” To each their own. Anyway, parking is a little bit tricky.

Lovely little spot for Italian-Japanese fusion. The dinner special set was great. As others have said, the portions are smaller, but they still leave you satisfied. Pasta was cooked well and al dente. The staff was incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend getting a reservation if planning to go there on a Friday or Saturday evening.
Kyle — Google review
Someone please tell if I’m confused. Three of us went to G.Labo tonight, I ordered the shrimp and garlic bread as I always. My two companions ordered the “G”-Set 5-course meal. 5-Course means (5-items/ salad, main dish, side dish, drinks, dessert). Both friends ordered “G”-Set which came with the steak, both ordered different side dish. Only one dish of the main item was delivered to our table, after waiting a while for the second main dish that never came, I called the staff to ask where is the other main dish? (Keep in mind that I am speaking in Japanese and so is one of my friend ) We were told that “both of their main dish was combined on one plate”!!!! It was one plate with 4-5 small strips of steaks hidden under a lettuce leaf. We explained to two of the staff that they “my two friends” ordered separately and why in “Gods Blue Heaven Would You Put Two Customers Dish On The Same Plate”??? After one of my Japanese speaking friend tried to “Powder It Up” I had to demand the second plate of steak which came quickly….. 5-Course is 5-Course NOT 5 minus 1 Course. This is the first time in Japan that I have experienced this type of service/trickery. There is no way this was a mistake. I give the staff the benefit of doubt to explain but after two staff members give the same BS explanation, there’s NO way that could be possible….. At the end of this failed trickery, they were both charged the same price and both given their separate plate of food. Point of this is….. I love Japan and Japanese people but there are those out there that will take your kindness for a weakness. I would advise you to take some Japanese lessons for better understanding and lastly be aware.

The cars parked on the street create a blind spot for cars turning left from the front of the store. SUEHIRO SHOKUDO is a delightful ramen eatery run by friendly elderly women. Conveniently located near the train station, this restaurant offers delicious lunch options served quickly. The savory broth and quality pork are particularly commendable. Their menu, which can be found both inside and outside the establishment, is affordably priced in yen only. It's worth noting that some basic Japanese language skills may come in handy.
When I have a nostalgic feeling. It has to be chukasoba. My wife and I used the Suehiro Shokudo on a Monday afternoon after waking up late. Even if the sun shines in the window and it is warm for the late autumn, the comfortable feeling of old-fashioned chukasoba is what my wife wants. I like to give her what she wants to make her happy, but secretly, I want it too. For those who are concerned with details, the date is 11 November. The time is 1:30 in the afternoon. For those who are concerned that we skipped Pocky Day, wait! ! ! There is no need for concern. Even if we start with Chukasoba, Pocky comes later in the day. Walk in the front. In case of a line, the simple menu is posted outside, so it should be easy to order as soon as I walk in. A pre-accounting bill system makes the service quickly. The menu has mostly meat udon and chinese noodles. My wife asks for chinese noodles with extra bean sprouts. As for me, it has to be chinese noodles, with two pieces of inari. As soon as we order, the auntie gives us the tokens and says the order into the microphone. The seating arrangement is surprisingly efficient! Even if the narrow room seems small, 4 tables with 4 seats, and 4 tables with 6 seats. It is difficult to imagine 40 people in the restaurant, but it can be done! However, I think if only 2 people come, they will take a whole table, so I think usually more than half the seats are empty even if every table has a customer. Overall, the store has a strong Showa feel, and I am immediately overcome by nostalgic feelings every time I come. When the auntie brings the noodles, the nostalgic feeling is even stronger. This is the true Hiroshima chukasoba taste (or for the local people of Iwakuni, it must be the taste of Iwakuni). A gentle balance between shouyu and tonkotsu flavor, with a slight sweetness. Plenty of oil. A lot of back fat! ! Bean sprouts at no extra cost. Charsiu is slightly chewy, but the fat melts in the mouth. One slice only! The noodles are straight, yellow, a little bit firm. This is the proper Hiroshima Chukasoba taste that makes me want to come back again and again! ! I want to slide back into the Showa. The inari are large and filling, with a slightly vinegared rice in the blanket of tofu. Gari gives a taste point to bring me into the moment again. The soup is so fragrant I have to finish it all. For the traveler passing through Iwakuni, if you can take a pause before the next train, this shop is highly recommended! Take the time to taste the true Hiroshima Chukasoba! For locals, this shop is recommended for everyone. I cannot make a recommendation for the udon, because the chinese noodles are too good and will always be what I order. Thank you for the meal.

Small place with only a handful of menu items. Very good!! No Togo.

We came here for lunch one afternoon while on a visit to Iwakuni and had Chinese noodles. The atmosphere of the shop is somewhat anachronistic but it was clean and comfortable. You make your selection and payment at the door, then receive a plastic token and take a seat. The food comes out fairly quickly. As others have noted, the noodles themselves are unremarkable, but the soup is quite tasty and contains quite a lot of back fat. It’s very soft and practically melts in your mouth. Overall, it’s a fairly tasty dish.

Run by sweet old ladies. This Shokudo beside the train station is a yummy lunch setved quickly. The broth is just perfect and the pork was very good. I got the regular bowl and husband got the giant one. Couldn’t believe how cheap it all was! Their menu is on the wall and outside of the restaurant. Yen only. Be prepared to brush up your Japanese skills too.

Personally my favorite ramen restaurant in Iwakuni... it's got this quiet and peaceful small town "mom and pop" "hole in the wall" feel to it. The food is incredibly tasty and it's very low priced in comparison to other places. The food comes out incredibly fast and the employees are very polite. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!!

It is already afternoon, and thanks to the weekdays, we were able to be seated immediately at Hirasei, a kaiseki restaurant. Although we couldn't get a seat by the window and it was slightly deep inside, the view was still pleasant. We ordered Janome Gozen and didn't have to wait for too long. The sashimi was sliced but incredibly fresh and delicious. Furthermore, Iwakuni sushi captivated our taste buds with its incredible flavor.
The staff was very polite, you know it's a good place when the sincerity of the staff speaks for itself more than the language barrier. Thank you for accommodating us foreigners. The food was top notch, the best that iwakuni offers, from the famed namesake sushi to the local sashimi. The ambience and view completes the experience. To all foreigners, don't worry if there is no English menu, be polite and follow the pictures 😁. Respect the staff.

(Translated by Google) I visited this restaurant hoping to try Iwakuni sushi, a local dish from the Iwakuni region of Yamaguchi Prefecture. I ordered the Janome Gozen meal, which allowed me to enjoy Iwakuni sushi as well as other local Iwakuni dishes such as Ohira, lotus root sanbaizu, and konjac sashimi. It was absolutely delicious. Iwakuni sushi is also known as "Lord's Sushi," and is said to have been made for celebrations and as a gift. It looks gorgeous and beautiful. You can see the Kintai Bridge from the window of this restaurant, so many customers were taking photos with the view from the window as a backdrop. Nestled in the heart of Iwakuni, Ganesh Indian Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that beckons both locals and visitors alike. Located along the charming Yellow Brick Road, this eatery is just a short stroll from JR Iwakuni Train Station, making it easily accessible for anyone exploring the area.
Probably the best Indian curry I had for a long time. Surprisingly in a small Japanese town indeed. It's packed even during a week day evening, so it must has a great local review. Give it a try if you're staying over night. Limited reliable dinner choices near by.

I was stationed in Iwakuni for a few years and Ganesh was my go to! This has to be the best curry that I have ever had. Honestly, everything here is incredible. The garlic cheese naan is the softest, cheesiest treat I have ever had. Gooey texture with rich bread, it is incredible. The chicken tandoori is spiced perfectly. All of their curry is exquisite. I have never had a bad meal here. Top choice will always be the 96! 10/10 will always visit when I’m back in the country !

Phenomenal restaurant! The establishment is clean and beautiful with kind, courteous, and helpful staff. The food was some of the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India. If I could give it more stars, I would!

The lunch special is too expensive for what you get my bill was 1,045. This only had soup, Cheese Nan, and curry. NO DRINK (Lassi), NO SALAD. you can get a much better deal at Devi. I got the today special cheese chicken curry. The food was cold, the curry wasn’t thick more like water and the cheese nan was like warm… and some pieces were just flat.. the presentation was really bad too only using white plates. I personally rarely write a bad review but I just expected the quality to be better for the price I paid.. Devi is just so much better for the price.. but the store was very clean and well maintained and there is parking

Great Indian restaurant located downtown Iwakuni. It's a short walk away from JR Iwakuni Train station. Awesome atmosphere and amazing food here. The menu offers different variety type of combinations from small set to feed one person to a large set to feed 4 ppl. During the order of which curry you want they will ask you for the level spicy you want, I chickened out and got level 2 which was a good level spice for my taste. The Mango Lassi drink a def must ask them to make sure the Mango lassi is cold.

For best parking, there’s a huge lot in front of the establishment and they can validate parking as well. If you’ve gone to Coco’s for naan bread, you’ll be blown away by the quality that the guys cook up. It’s been so long since I’ve last had Indian food and this place does not disappoint. Think they’re manned by the same friendly three guys every time. Awesome customer service.

Sobatamaya is a Japanese restaurant known for its delicious okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Visitors have been impressed by the taste of the dishes, with some claiming it to be the best they've ever had. The restaurant offers a variety of side menus that are equally delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant maintains a clean environment. English-speaking staff and menus are available for international visitors.
My favorite Hiroshima style okonomiyaki in Iwakuni! Their yakisoba is also pretty tasty (for those who don’t like okonomiyaki). It does take a little while for them to cook it up and they do get pretty busy, but it is worth the wait. I usually go right around 5pm, which is when they open.

We visited on a Thursday evening around 6pm. There were a few customers. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was nice. This restaurant has an English menu and an English speaking staff. We paid in cash. Unsure if they take card. They have a variety of options for dinner and the sauce for the okonomiyaki is house made. We ordered the house okonomiyaki, tea, and shark cartilage in plum sauce. The okonomiyaki was good and the shark dish was interesting. There isn't any parking available, however there is paid parking just down the street.

Gyoza no Ohsho Iwakuni is a fantastic spot for those craving a quick and satisfying meal of ramen and gyoza. The food arrives promptly, often at different times, so be prepared for an exciting dining experience where dishes come as they’re ready. While the staff may not speak English fluently, communication is straightforward thanks to the availability of an English menu. The young team works diligently to keep everything running smoothly and ensure customer satisfaction.
The ramen and gyoza are fantastic! Extra garlicky gyoza. Large tables with traditional seating if desired. They have an English menu as well available. They’ll bring be food out as soon as it’s ready so don’t expect everything at once or even your appetizers to come before your main dish. We are for a family of 4 for only $33 American. That’s 4 dishes plus gyoza.
John F — Google review
Great place for a quick meal of ramen & gyoza. Food comes rapidly & likely separately, don’t expect it in any order. And it is quite decent. The wait staff don’t speak English, but communication is simple & menus are available in English. Most are young and it is impressive how hard they work to maintain order & please customers. The interior is sanitary, but worn due to the high volume of (satisfied!) customers & their turnover rate. Cost is very reasonable, well under $10 per person.

CoCo Ichibanya Iwakuni Station is a popular restaurant known for its delicious Japanese curry. It attracts many American customers, particularly those from the nearby base. They accept American credit cards as well.
Fast, delicious, cheap. This branch is just a few steps away from Iwakuni station, getting there is so easy. We tried their fried oysters curry. Spice level and amount of rice is customizable. There is a wide range of curry toppings to choose from (vegetables, chicken, pork, beef, and seafood options are available). When we got there they had our place mats and towels folded fancy for us which made the whole experience feel very personal! We ordered the sirloin and tenderloin steak courses. First was the corn soup, then a salad which had an amazing dressing on it, then bread/rice, then the steak. We both agreed it was probably one of the best steak we have had in Iwakuni. We did go on a Wednesday night and were the only ones in the restaurant but it was so good I can’t imagine they are always empty.

The steaks here are phenomenal & would say it is probably one of the best steps I have ever had! This is a must visit if you are in the area. The staff is super friendly & very helpful if you speak limited Japanese.

The best steak i have had since i moved to Japan! I have been to some other steak houses in Iwakuni, Hiroshima and Osaka & by far this steakhouse tops all the steak houses i have been to!

A large space restaurant that serves wagyu cuts of meat. I ordered the 150 g course and it was delicious. There were English menus available

Irori Sanzoku Nishiki is a Japanese restaurant located at the foot of a mountain, offering delicious chicken BBQ. The restaurant's festive style and unique decorations reflect fascinating Japanese culture, with small statues of Japanese chefs in red bandanas placed around the establishment. Reviewers recommend this hidden gem found along the expressway to Iwakuni for its amazing atmosphere and tasty food.
The atmosphere is peaceful yet lively with the almost festival like decoration. You feel instantly at peace at arrival. You can enjoy the mountain air and the Japanese garden. The food was prepared fairly fast and tasted as expected nothing mind blowing but definitely worthwhile.

This place accepts CASH ONLY ¥¥¥¥ (Japanese Yen 💴)… Such a nice, cool, calm, and peaceful place. The restaurant has outdoor seating for use during the day and evenings, and indoor seating as well. The food quality is excellent, and the service is great. Very friendly staff members; they all speak Japanese. No English-Speaking staff. However, foreign customers can use Google Translate application on their cellphones to communicate with staff members… Overall, this place is amazing, and definitely worth visiting….
Deezel 3 — Google review
Very similar to the place by Iwakuni (except less seating). Food is always decent and the atmosphere and experience is always welcoming. There seems to be a private hut where either 2 or maybe 4 small people can dine but unsure how to make a reservation for that.

Last year we went to this place and we failed to eat here due to heavy snow. Now we finally checked it on our bucket list! We recommend y’all to eat here! Good food and good place!
Norielie A — Google review
I have been here many times and the service has always been great and the food has always been good! It’s my father’s favorite Sanzoku so we try to go when we can. We try to get there around 1100 so we don’t have to wait for a table. By the time we leave, it’s usually pretty busy.
Iwakuni F — Google review
Tastes better than the biggest one in Kuga. Foot onsen and feeding the carp are fun!
Hiroka K — Google review
The most amazing dining experience ever. The place itself is spectacular. You can dine in the stunning outdoor gardens or inside the amazing castle. The food is wonderful and we had many courses.

Yakiniku restaurant
Korean barbecue restaurant
Meat dish restaurant
Nestled in the charming city of Minami Iwakuni, Janjaka Minami is a delightful culinary destination that promises to tantalize your taste buds. This restaurant stands out for its diverse menu, featuring an array of dishes that highlight both local and international flavors. Among the highlights are their exquisite curries, which have garnered praise from visitors for their rich spices and authentic preparation methods.
Definitely one of the quality Yakiniku restaurants in Iwakuni. Fast service, very friendly, and helpful. English menu available; staff members speak some English… But Google Translate works well when communicating with the staff. They don’t have All-You-Can-Eat option; however the quality and flavor is outstanding. I will gladly go there again if/when necessary. The seating areas and tables are secluded to provide extra privacy. Payment Options: Cash (¥¥¥) & Card (AmEx, Discovery, MC, VISA)… Of course, the outstanding Japanese hospitality and customer service is on-point; it does cost a little more, but you get good quality and flavor.
Deezel 3 — Google review
We have been going to Janjaka for the past 4 years and it has always been delicious. Last time I tried to go they were unexpectedly closed due to new hours. Yesterday they were closed even though Google said they were open. They updated their menu since my last visit and now no longer have garlic rice which was my favorite. The beef quality seemed to be lower than in the past. It is still good but they need to bring back the garlic rice.
Nancy S — Google review
Great meat selection and very fast service! They also have curtains on each table for privacy! Over all a great experience and clean restaurant.
Jeth J — Google review
Nice atmosphere and extra friendly service staff. The selections of meats are plentiful and excellent cuts. It’s a great place for the family or cozy date nite.

Awesome experience at Janaka. Service was extremely friendly and efficient. Very nice atmosphere with private tables to allow you to enjoy your own experience with friends or family. Food was delicious, served quickly, and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again.
Kyle — Google review
Delicious and plentiful food. Very short wait and very polite staff. I can't compare to others as I've never experienced yakiniku before, but I know good food and this is it.
James F — Google review
Slightly pricey but it saves you from overeating compared to Vikings yakiniku. 1 plum wine, coffee ice cream, kimchi, bibimbap, and big various beef platter was about $50. Finally understand how it works. Try the sauce
Joseph C — Google review
AMAZING! Our family’s favorite yakiniku spot. The fried cheesy potatoes are too good. Delicious drinks too.

Italian restaurant
Fukuoka is a delightful culinary destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its spacious layout and accommodating staff, this restaurant offers a warm atmosphere perfect for gatherings with friends. Diners can indulge in a variety of mouthwatering dishes, from delectable appetizers like cheese plates and venison sausage to succulent roast lamb that practically melts off the bone. The pizza served here rivals authentic Italian fare, making it hard to believe you're not in Italy!
Delicious food and great customer service! No parking available, but there are pay parking lots nearby. Had dinner here with some friends a couple of months ago and we loved everything we ordered. They were very busy so it took a little while to get some of our food, but we were fine with it. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and shared everything. We felt that the prices were reasonable too.
Iwakuni F — Google review
What a surprise! Very nice restaurant with helpful staff. Had three appetizers; cheese plate, venison sausage, and beef tongue, all of which were excellent! Next we had roast lamb and a pizza. The lamb was succulent and fell off the bone. The pizza was so close to Italy style, I could not tell that I was not in Italy! After dinner the best surprise was the ice cream. It had a strong cream flavor that made your mouth happy! It also came in an unusual sugar cone which complemented the ice cream. Definitely a must stop place in Iwakuni!!!

Went there for lunch and the lunch menu was not pricey. Portions were well balanced staff was friendly and you can use your card there. Most importantly, the food was good. Price x taste x Portions = a definite return.
Tyserion C — Google review
Our meals were amazing! The bread wasn’t my favorite, but my husband liked it. We did not try their pizza, but it looked/smelled delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Pizza had amazing flavor. It didn’t take too long to receive our food. The pizza was a decent price.

The Fukuoka pizza was great and beef cutlet even better. Takeout available. Menu and staff English friendly.
Mauricio V — Google review
We had a great night out with friends! This was my first time at this restaurant. The restaurant is quite large. The table we sat at could have easily sat 6 people. The food was delicious and service very good!! We had appetizers, pasta, pizza, and dessert. They have an English menu too. We paid in yen but I think they will accept a card too. We will definitely go back!!
