Kintaikyo Bridge is a stunning wooden architectural marvel that spans the clear waters of Nishiki River with its 200-meter span and five striking arches. Dating back to 1673, it was built by the lord of the Iwakuni Domain and has since been rebuilt. The intricate timberwork of the bridge is considered flawless even by modern standards.
It will cost you 310 yen for a ticket to cross. Sunning and very well maintained historical bridge. The water that flows past is so clear and fresh. Fish swimming. This is a true Japanese master piece and a must see.
Damien S — Google review
It was an unexpected surprise visit and it was extremely beautiful to see. Cross over did cost but not very expensive and its return walk ticket. I can only imagine when things are in bloom or in the fall how more beautiful this bridge and the village across it is. It was very peaceful and quiet. Enjoyable site!
Alfredo G — Google review
I made a special trip from Hiroshima to Kintai Bridge, and it didn’t disappoint — a beautiful wooden structure. There’s an entrance fee to access the bridge, which covers a round trip. Every step on the bridge lets you feel the unique charm of its wooden architecture. Beneath it, the clear river flows over stone slabs, with many families picnicking, playing in the water, and others fishing. When leaving, you might consider heading to Shin-Iwakuni Station. The Shinkansen can get you back to Hiroshima in about half an hour, but be sure to check the train schedule.
Chan D — Google review
This bridge is a little out of the way, but it is a beautiful bridge with beautiful surroundings with stunning architecture. When we were there, the crowds weren't too bad so it was nice to see a beautiful spot that wasn't too crowded. There's a bus that will take you straight here from downtown which is easy to catch so even though it's out of the way it's easy to get to.
Brett B — Google review
Beautiful History, Scenic Views, and a Little Parental Awareness Needed Kintaikyo Bridge is without a doubt one of Japan’s most iconic wooden bridges and being here in person really drives that home. Built originally in 1673 during the Edo period, it’s famous for its five graceful wooden arches that span the Nishiki River. Designed to withstand frequent flooding, the structure has been rebuilt and maintained through the centuries, with the most recent full reconstruction completed in 1953 after a typhoon destroyed the previous version. Today, it remains a symbol of Iwakuni’s history and craftsmanship. From a visitor’s perspective, crossing the bridge is an experience worth savoring. I especially loved that you can purchase a ticket that allows multiple crossings perfect if you want to go back and forth without feeling rushed. Once across, you can take the ropeway up to Iwakuni Castle on the mountaintop, which adds even more to the outing. The combination of the river, the bridge, the rope car, and the castle gives you a full-day mini adventure in one spot. The only downside for me was safety awareness. While the bridge is sturdy, the railings are quite low, and I noticed several parents letting their children run freely across it. It’s easy to see how a slip could turn dangerous, so a little more attentiveness would go a long way in keeping everyone safe. Visitor Tips: • Try to come early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid peak crowds. • Pair your bridge crossing with the ropeway and castle visit for a complete experience. • Spring (cherry blossom season) and autumn (fall foliage) are particularly stunning here. Overall, Kintaikyo Bridge blends centuries-old engineering, breathtaking scenery, and a touch of adventure. Just watch your step and your kids as you enjoy one of Iwakuni’s most treasured landmarks.
Earl J — Google review
Very worthwhile visit. Well maintained ancient bridge, great for taking photos, definitely an attraction cannot be missed if u came to Hiroshima.

Everything you’d imagine on this wonderful bridge. Good food on each side. It’s a little expensive to cross the bridge so maybe do it just once. The surrounding area is beautiful and you can see the castle from it.

Iwakuni Castle is a stunning 4-story structure offering picturesque mountain views and showcasing samurai sword exhibits. The Kintai-kyo, a wooden arch footbridge spanning the Nishiki River in Yamaguchi Prefecture, is an elegant relic of Iwakuni's feudal history. The bridge, rebuilt after being destroyed by floodwaters in 1950, stands alongside Mount Shiroyama where the castle is located.
A step back in time after a week of modern on-the-go is exactly what we needed. The Kintaikyo Bridge is a marvel to see as well as the sights and journey to Iwakuni Castle is breathtaking. A wonderful break away that immersed us into a time long past. The little food stalls outside Kikko Park provide amazing snacks (try the beef yakatori!!) that should be indulged before your trip up the mountain and a reward for your trek back down. We spent roughly 3 to 4 hours there.
Valerie C — Google review
We took the cablecar up, the views are spectacular on a clear day, there's also a museum inside the castle with a good collection of samurai swords and armour. For me it was worth the trip for the views alone
Only I — Google review
Iwakuni Castle was an absolute joy to visit. After leaving the ropeway, we walked towards the castle through a thickly wooded forest, reminiscent of a fantasy or anime film. We had pre-purchased tickets for the castle as part of a package that included access to the Kintaikyo Bridge and the rope way, so we passed through without issue (find these tickets for sale at Kintaikyo Bridge). There were multiple swords and armour sets on display, and the view from the top of the castle was magnificent, with a cool breeze that blowed through the windows. A very quiet, unhurried, and far-from-the-crowds experience that is different from so many other locations in Japan.
Matthew A — Google review
Definitely out of the way of the crowds but easy to get to, just takes a little time. We took the ropeway up but I guess there are trails up too. I'm glad we went but it isn't as impressive as some of the more popular castles. But almost worth it to see a castle without the crowds. And seeing the bridge on the way also is an added plus. I'd do it again unless I was very pressed in time.
Brett B — Google review
Iwakuni Castle, perched atop Mount Shiroyama, is a compact but rewarding stop in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The castle itself is a 1960s concrete reconstruction of the 1608 original, yet it effectively showcases the region’s samurai-era military history through detailed exhibits on the Kikkawa clan—particularly Kikkawa Hiroie, the daimyo who built the first fortress—and the strategic role of the Nishiki River defenses. Armor, weapons, and panoramic dioramas bring the era to life. A single ¥950 ticket bundles ropeway (cable car), castle entry, and Kintaikyo Bridge, making logistics seamless. The four-minute ropeway ride deposits you steps from the keep, ideal for quick 45-minute visits. From the observation deck, sweeping views span the Seto Inland Sea, the five-arched Kintaikyo, and the town below—especially striking at sunrise or during cherry-blossom season. Staying at a nearby onsen for hot springs, sauna and fugu sashimi - (a 10-minute taxi ride) and driving 15 minutes to Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport the next morning turned the visit into a relaxed, efficient layover. Perfect for travelers seeking history, scenery, and convenience in one compact package.
N K — Google review
Iwakuni Castle sits high atop Mount Shiroyama and delivers not only a slice of history but also one of the best panoramic views you’ll find in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Originally built in 1608 and later reconstructed, the castle today serves more as a museum and lookout, but it doesn’t fall short on charm. Getting to the top is part of the fun. From Kintaikyo Bridge, we took a short walk to the ropeway station located in Kikko Park. The cable car ride was only about 3 minutes but offered a sweeping view of the Nishiki River and the iconic wooden bridge. Once at the top, we walked another 10 minutes along a shaded path to the castle. There’s also a hiking trail if you’re up for the climb. Inside the castle, you’ll find displays of samurai armor, weapons, and a fascinating model of Kintaikyo Bridge. The best part? The top floor observation deck, which gave us a panoramic view of Iwakuni city, the river, and on a clear day, even out toward the Seto Inland Sea. It’s a peaceful spot with very few crowds when we visited. Entry fees were reasonable and combo tickets covering the castle, ropeway, and bridge made it a value-packed outing. If you’re in the area—especially visiting from Hiroshima—Iwakuni Castle makes for a relaxing and rewarding detour.
Gator — Google review
Brilliant place for a peep into Japanese lifestyles back in the ages. Even though this castle is a reconstruction, its wonderful to admire the architecture, the artifacts and many different swords and implements of war. Must visit.
Devendra K — Google review
Beautiful castle with stunning views!” Took the ropeway up—fast and scenic. The castle museum was interesting (armor, swords, and a Kintai Bridge model), and the summit lookout provided breathtaking vistas of Iwakuni, the river, and even the distant islands. It’s a short visit (about 60 min total), but packed with charm. Combine it with Kintai Bridge and Kikko Park for a full morning outing. Fairly small museum, and castle’s a modern rebuild, but totally worth it for the view and history fix! ⸻ ✅ Tips for Visitors • Combine your ticket with Kintai Bridge and the ropeway for savings. • Visit early or late to beat peak times—ropeway tends to get busy midday. • Bring a camera for excellent photo spots of the bridge from above. • Add a visit to Kashiwabara Art Museum at the ropeway base if you’re into historic swords and traditional art. ⸻ Bottom Line: Iwakuni Castle delivers a scenic, accessible, and enriching historic experience. Though a modern reconstruction, it excels in atmosphere, views, and strategic location—making it a must-do after crossing the iconic Kintai Bridge.

Kikko Park is a versatile park located on the former residence of the Kikkawa family, rulers of the Iwakuni Domain. It has been recognized as one of Japan's Top 100 Most Historic Parks and features several historically significant buildings such as the Kikko Shrine and the Mekata Family residence. The park offers a serene environment with fountains, splash pads, a fish pond, and a cormorant enclosure.
Great parking, easy access to ropeway and trails.

Loved exploring the old samurai homes, watching the koi in the fountain, and seeing the White Snake Museum. The cherry blossoms in spring and golden ginkgos in fall are breathtaking, and the snack stalls near the entrance are perfect for a quick treat. It’s relaxing, historic, and photogenic—ideal for a half-day outing. Just bring water in summer and allow time for the castle ropeway too. ⸻ ✅ Tips • Visit early morning in spring or autumn to avoid crowds. • Bring a picnic blanket — the fountain-garden area is perfect for relaxing. • Combine your visit with Kintai Bridge and the Iwakuni Castle ropeway for a fuller experience.
Nevaeh T — Google review
Kikko park is a beautiful location to visit, it features Kintia Bridge, Kikko Village, Iwakuni Castle, and other sites. The park hold much history within it and is a great place to spend a few hours with the family or hiking around.
The C — Google review
A fairly large park situated within the vicinity of Kintaikyo. The views in spring are pretty good but the crowds, even on a weekday, can be quite bad.
Jun M — Google review
I love coming here. Every season is different and beautiful. My toddler loves visiting the cormorants and playing in the splash pad. There are several restaurants and ice cream spots in and around the area as well as souvenir shops by the bridge. There are also a couple of museums in the park. I love that such an amazing space is in our city.
A. L — Google review
A scenic park that contains many interesting shrines, temples and museums in and around it. Some nice fountains and ponds along with grass areas and statues complete the park setting.
Rob H — Google review
I would agree with the review that said it's a great date location! There are plenty of fountains, pretty trees, ice cream and food vendors, and historical sites all packed into this one area. There is a big pool-like fountain in the middle where kids (and adults) are allowed to swim so if you're coming on a hot day, prepare a swimsuit or shorts so you can take a dip. Some kids even brought floaties. On the Kintai bridge side, there's a walkway with 3-4 soft served ice cream shops and a few restaurants that serve the local specialty: Yamaguchi sushi. It's a thick square of rice with lots of toppings, it kind of reminds me of lasagna in a way. There's also a restaurant that sells lotus root noodles (Yamaguchi is famous for its lotus root/renkon). If you don't speak/read Japanese, some vendors have English menus that you can point to if worst comes to worst, but they're very helpful and understanding! I would recommend spending 2-3 hours in the area just to hit up all the sites, and while there's plenty of drink vending machines around, it's probably best if you bring your own water. It can be expensive!
Gotaemin — Google review
Park with big open space. There are quite a few plum and cherry blossom trees as well as a place where you see cormorants being kept outside the cormorant fishing season. I was lucky to be able to see them fed fish to these birds.

Train station
Iwakuni Station is a convenient transportation hub, with easy access to popular attractions like Miyajimaguchi Station and Hiroshima City. The station itself may be small, but it offers modern amenities such as elevators and clean facilities. Travelers can reach the nearby Irori Sanzoku restaurant by taking the JR Gantoku Line to Kinmeiji Station and walking for about fifteen minutes.
A clean, mid-sized JR Rail station servicing this small town in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The station appears to have been renovated and enlarged recently, complete with elevators, escalators, but just a few places to eat or grab a snack between local trains. Perhaps they will come soon? However, on the 1F, there is a nice little place for coffee and eat some fresh strawberries, which they sell there (see my photos). I was there to catch the Gantoku Nishikagawa/Seiryu historic railway line to Nishikicho Station, and then turn right around and return to Iwakuni Station (it's a scenic train route). My photos of this are in the Nishikicho Station review.

Small and appropriately sized for its city. Clean, easy to access and in a good location. You’ll feel safe no matter what time of day. The station layout was well designed and easy for foreigners to navigate. Convenience stores and eateries nearby.

Hiroshima, located on Japan's Honshu Island, is a city that beautifully blends its poignant history with modern vibrancy. Once devastated by an atomic bomb during World War II, Hiroshima has risen from the ashes and now features the serene Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which honors those lost in 1945. Within this tranquil space lies the Genbaku Dome, a haunting reminder of that fateful day.

Kikko Shrine is a charming shrine dedicated to the ancestral spirits of the Kikkawa Clan, located just a short walk from Shirayama Hime-jinja Shrine. The surroundings are adorned with seasonal beauty, including cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring, hydrangeas in summer, and vibrant fall colors with ginkgo trees in autumn. It's conveniently situated near Kikko Park and features a teahouse on the approach.

Peaceful shrine with deep historical roots Kikko Shrine, located in the scenic Kikko Park area of Iwakuni, is a beautiful and tranquil spot with strong ties to the city’s samurai heritage. Established in 1884, it enshrines members of the Kikkawa family, the ruling clan of the Iwakuni Domain during the Edo period. Many visitors myself includes, appreciate how it’s surrounded by lush greenery and seasonal flowers, making it a calm retreat even when the park is busy. From what I’ve seen and what others share online, the shrine stands out for: • Its serene atmosphere even during festivals, it has a relaxed, respectful vibe. • Beautiful architecture the main hall and stone lanterns reflect traditional Shinto craftsmanship. • Proximity to other attractions you can easily combine a visit here with Kintaikyo Bridge, the ropeway, and Iwakuni Castle. The shrine grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of shaded spots to rest. You might also spot the unique shrine guardians and statues that add character to the area. While not a major Goshuin destination compared to some larger temples, it does offer a lovely stamp for collectors. Tip: Many visitors recommend coming in spring for cherry blossoms or autumn for colorful foliage, when the shrine and park are at their most photogenic. If you’re already in the Kikko Park area, stopping by Kikko Shrine feels less like ticking off a tourist checklist and more like stepping into a peaceful chapter of Iwakuni’s history.

Nishiki River, located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, is home to the historic Kintaikyo Bridge. This elegant wooden arch footbridge spans the river and is a vestige of Iwakuni's feudal past. The bridge measures 193.3 meters long and is considered a national site of scenic beauty. In the past, local fishermen used kagaribi (bonfires in iron baskets) on boats to aid their night fishing expeditions along the Nishiki River.

On that day in August, there were 20 people in the river holding long ayu fishing rods. Although there are many shallow places, there are very limited places where you can get off, and most of the time there are people fishing for sweetfish, so it is not suitable for general river swimming. Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport (IWK) is a small airport located in the Iwakuni area, offering daily flights to Tokyo (Haneda) and Okinawa. The airport staff are known for their friendly and polite service, providing travelers with a great Japanese experience. The famous Kintaikyo Bridge, with its unique five-arched design, is a must-see attraction spanning the Nishiki River.
Great place to fly from. They have hot coffee and snacks. Not much if you are looking for a full meal before or after your flight. Bus will pick you up from airport and they have taxi services. English is available. Bathrooms are clean and have trashcans🤭. Piano is in there and the kids seem to like playing with it. Not much else.

Very small airport. Easy access and plenty of parking. It would be a 4 star review but you have to pay to go onto the observation deck.

I have lived here for a long time so I was here when we didn’t have an airport. It’s been so wonderful to be able to fly out of Iwakuni instead of taking a train and a bus to get to another airport. This airport is small, but it’s great. Lots of parking and parking is FREE for the first five days. Just remember to take your ticket in so you can validate it after you go through security. There is a small gift shop that sells some great local items to take away for gifts or souvenirs. The ANA staff are always very nice and very professional. The security staff are great too.

Great place to adventure and solve with a friend or family! Simple enough your kids will enjoy it. Across the street is a good curry place! If you get to the end and are having trouble with the key, the answers are in the building you turn your card into so don’t worry about it!

Yuu Beach is a popular summer destination with its soft sandy shores and stunning ocean views. Conveniently located near Miyajima island, it's easily accessible for a day trip from Hiroshima city or Iwakuni city. The beach is clean but I’m unsure about the water. I found a men’s razor handle and blade floating in the water, quite a bit of garbage (part of a paper cup, styrofoam and hundreds of plastic tubes the size of the tip of my pinky and some were longer like straws). Also dead jelly fish floating in the water about the size of a Dixie drinking cup. Yes, the water is clear but what is all the plastic floating around. Is it safe and clean to swim in? Lots of free parking and clean bathrooms with a place to rinse off your sandy feet. I did not purchase any food or snacks.
Julie B — Google review
This is a small beach but had plenty of parking. There is a seawall that protects the beach, so there is not a large surf. This makes it great for paddle boarding a calm swim. The water stays pretty shallow which was great for my small kids. The beach faces directly east so going to watch the sunrise is amazing. There are plenty of places to walk or jog and enjoy the view.

Yuu Beach is very clean with brown sand and clear blue waters with lazy waves which makes it perfect for families with kids. There is a parking space which is free and the scenery is so beautiful. There are rest rooms where you can also change and some sitting area for picnics or just relaxation. I also saw some people on jetskis so I believe there must be somewhere you can rent them and there was a few people with paddleboats so I guess you can bring yours . I am not sure if dogs are not allowed since I didn't see any.

At this stage, guests may desire to cease observing and begin engaging in activities at Hachigamine Grand Park. But what options are available for them? Well, first and foremost, the park boasts a Ferris Wheel situated within the dinosaur area. Additionally, visitors can find various other attractions spread throughout the park grounds such as a steam locomotive, obstacle course, and roller slide.
These parks in Iwakuni are next level. Plenty of restrooms, slides, and other things to keep the kids occupied. They’ve got animals too. Bunnies, ponies, peacock, fluffy chickens, a monkey, and dinosaurs! Italian restaurant that looked delicious with a little long wait time, a cafe, and even food trucks!
Jesse M — Google review
A good place for children to play. and visiting different places. The collection also includes a great camp for spending time with family and friends.
Reza R — Google review
Many parts of the park are closed off. Roller slide and ferris wheel is closed. Bumper cars near cafe are gone completely. Also we could not access the obstacle course. Even though the playground has a new has been updates, it doesn't hold the attention of kids 5 and older. The dinosaur area needs some maintenance as the grass is starting to grow tall. The kids enjoyed feeding the rabits and petting the ponies, but we all were really sad about all the other attractions being shut down. Hopefully this is temporarily closed due to covid and will be open soon.

(Translated by Google) If you have children up to elementary school age, you can spend a whole day there. There is a variety of things to do, including a Ferris wheel, a mini steam locomotive, playground equipment, and animals. The rabbit hutch? seemed to be very popular, and there was always a crowd around. You can only bring your own rabbit food, and it is not sold on site. However, you can feed them white clover, and there are many of them growing wild in the park, so it's okay if you forget to bring your own. It felt like a small amusement park. The park is quite large, and it takes more than 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other. There are also quite a few differences in elevation and stairs, so it may be difficult to use a stroller. It costs a fair amount to do all the activities. Also, the ticket vending machine is not cashless, only cash. Meals were either affordable snacks (at a udon restaurant) or authentic Italian food, so if the weather is good, bringing a packed lunch is a good option. Overall, the satisfaction level was high, and I think it would be fun for children from toddlers to elementary school age. There are many vending machines in the park where you can get drinks and ice cream. Some of the vending machines are cashless. I wonder if the fluffy dome, ponies, goats, and rabbits have been added to the group? 🐰 But it's so big, you'll have to walk a lot 🤣 Adults should be prepared...lol Also, the athletic equipment is overgrown with grass, so be careful of ticks and insects. It seems the Ferris wheel and steam locomotive are only open on weekends and holidays, which is a shame. Also, the uphill climb to get there is quite steep, so I recommend a powerful vehicle. 🚗💨lol There weren't many people there, and it was practically the entire place to ourselves, but it might be busier on weekends than on weekdays. I also visited the stunning Momijidani Park, which is renowned for its beautiful natural scenery and the famous Momijidani Bridge. The park is a picturesque haven, especially in autumn when the maple trees turn vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow. The Momijidani Bridge is a highlight, gracefully arching over a serene stream and surrounded by lush foliage. Walking through the park, I was captivated by the tranquil ambiance and the exquisite blend of natural beauty and traditional Japanese landscaping. The peaceful pathways and the sound of flowing water made it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll and reflection.

Beautiful maple leaf valley park is stunning at any time of year. Wander through the beautifully maintained paths under gorgeous trees beautiful at any time of year. Beautiful stream running through. A popular route up to Mt.Misen that takes anywhere from 1-2 hours of stair climbing. Wild deer are in the park. Interesting small shrines and tea shops offering light meals too. Picnic areas, public toilets here but no water fountains to refill water bottles needs to be reconsidered especially in hot months. A water bottle refill station at a few areas would help reduce waste and improve health as well as comfort of visitors and hikers.

Kuga Park is a delightful destination for families seeking outdoor fun and adventure. This expansive park features an array of playground equipment, including two exciting roller slides that kids will love, although they can get a bit dirty! For those looking for something unique, Kuga Park also offers turf sledding—just remember to reserve your spot in advance. While waiting for your turn, you can enjoy a quirky mini-golf course that adds to the park's charm.
Fun, wide open space. Playgrounds, slides, baseball field, keeps you busy. Hot lunch, ice cream, and drink vending machines available as well. Parking is easy, free, and plentiful.

We went on a Thursday afternoon as a playdate with friends, and we had the park to ourselves. Nice park, but a little hard to navigate for little ones who are interested in the big roller slide. It was a hot day so some shade would be great to protect from the sun. Better to go in the afternoon or in the cooler months. Overall we had a great time, even this momma. 😊
Shelby J — Google review

Park is great for all ages. Large slide, sled down the hill, and variety of different park sections. Also a bas ball field and golf area.
Maria C — Google review
It's a real fun park. There is lots of playground equipment for kids to play on with two roller slides. The roller slides are dirty... So be ready for that. There is a place to go turf sledding too, which is really fun. You have to reserve a spot for your kids in half hour increments. When it's your turn they'll give you a small kids size sled and then off you go. Sledding is free. While you're waiting there is an odd mini golf course. It's not mini golf like in the United States, it's labeled as "ground golf" and there are people there who look like they're taking it seriously, but that's their problem. It costs 300jpy for adults 200jpy for 5 year olds and 100jpy for a 3 year old.

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, Tsuzumigaura Park is a hidden gem that offers a serene escape for visitors. While it may be easy to miss when driving along the main road, following your GPS will lead you to convenient parking just across from the park. Although some playground equipment shows signs of wear, it's still functional and provides fun for kids. Families should bring water shoes as the beach area has sand mixed with debris.
Love this Beach/Park! It’s quite, easy to get to, and relaxing with an amazing view. Follow google maps directions and just keep following the road behind the main building. It will bring you to a parking lot by restrooms and a vending machine. You can follow the amphitheater steps down to the beach walk or take a walking trail around to the sidewalks and picnic tables. Very scenic. Clean (except in the late summer when all the bugs come out and the seaweed is washed up on the beach). And overall just a nice park/beach to swim, paddle board, or just sun bathe.

This place is kind of hidden when you are on the main road ,when you arrive, you will see a sign that says no parking but please don't despair keep going where your maps is telling you as there is parking opposite the park. The playground is not the newest, some areas have rust but still useful.Make sure to get water shoes for the little ones because the beach area has sand but there's some debris and broken glass. There are restrooms next to the parking lot and another one down on the beach. The beach was not packed when we went but there was a lot of people with their dogs so i guess it's a dog friendly beach and just above the playground area there's a nice green area for picnics although you can also have a picnic at the beach.

We've been to many campsites and RV parks, but this is the first time we've seen such clean water facilities! (This may be because we were the only ones using the facility) The shower was 200 yen for 3 minutes. Since we were using it in the middle of summer, it was fine for just washing off the sweat. We were worried about the heat since we were using it in late July, but we started to get sweaty from setting up around 4pm, but the breeze that blew through was cool◎ After taking a shower at 6pm, we didn't even get sweaty, and by 8pm the children were cool enough to put on their jackets😘 At night, we were excited and soothed by the sounds of birds and other animals, and went to sleep with only a towel blanket as a screen. It was chilly around 4am, but we were able to deal with it by putting on our sleeping bags. For our family, who can't stand the heat, we had the best conditions 🙆 And above all, the stars in the night sky!! Rather than gazing at the starry sky, it would be better to say that we were engulfed in the starry sky 🌟 It was an incredibly beautiful night sky! Speaking of insects, horseflies 🪰 were buzzing all the time during the day. . (Maybe they were even more attracted because our car and T-shirts were black?) But we had a screen canopy tarp connected, so we were fine as long as we stayed inside (although the buzzing was loud)! Anyway, it was the best campsite for our family! So, if we have the chance, we'd like to visit again ❤️Thank you for your help 🙌 (Original) ✨✨最高のキャンプ場✨✨ こども4人と母子キャンプで利用しました。 水回り&トイレは口コミどおりめちゃ綺麗!これまでいろんなキャンプ場やRVパーク行ったけど、ここまで綺麗な水回りは初! (Translated by Google) I wrote a review two years ago, but I'm writing it again. First of all, the aerial photos that come up when you search on Google are from when this campground was established, so the trees have not grown and it gives the impression that there is no shade, but as of June 2024, the broad-leaved trees on the site are large. The branches spread out and there is plenty of shade! Even when the temperature below is over 30 degrees, it's cool and refreshing here. (The altitude is over 800) The stars are beautiful, and it's fun to hear countless types of birds, such as squid, flycatcher, cuckoo, red-winged flycatcher, and black-spotted thrush. Also, most of the sites are well maintained and very beautiful with grass and grass. The toilet is clean and has a washlet. The sink is also very spacious and clean. Since there are strict rules, there are almost no scorch marks from the bonfire, so you can use it comfortably. There's even Wi-Fi, so I was able to download e-books to the reader, which was great! ! I didn't use the power supply, but even if I did, it was only 500 yen more.

(Translated by Google) I used the tent site the other day. The grass is so beautiful. The rules for campfires are strict and well-managed. I came here for a summer camp during a heatstroke alert. The evening we were setting up, there were trees blocking the western sun, and although it was 29°C, the breeze was pleasant at site 13. The temperature was also low at night, so I slept with a towel blanket over me. At around 6:30 in the morning, it was only 21°C, so it was chilly and I needed long sleeves. There were no mosquitoes or insects, so it was comfortable. The toilets and kitchen were clean. It was a great campsite. (Translated by Google) The washlet toilet, sink, cooking building, etc. are all cleaned up nicely. When making a bonfire, we put blocks on the spatter sheet and make a bonfire on the bonfire stand. The road to the campsite is winding and there are broken branches scattered all over. Please be careful if you are on a motorcycle. However, it is a high-standard campsite.
