An absolutely stunning view from the visitor's plattform. I was there on a Friday for the sunset, didn't have to que at all and went directly with a few people to the top for 1000 yen. It was absolutely worth it! Though the skies were clear, Mt Fuji was hidden as well as the setting sun. Nevertheless I went a few rounds, took seat at varois occasions and enjoyed a beer while the day fades and the lights go on in the agglomeration. In contrast to Tokyo Tower and the Sky tree, there are very few visitors and that alone is fantastic! No queing to go up or down and the possibility to watch the city from different spaces (on the Sky tree there are lines for certain spots). The highlights are the harbor, the ferris wheel and other rides below the tower and the surrounding city.

Amazing experience. The views form the sky garden 69th floor are simply amazing. Nice little cafe and souvenir shop up there as well. 1000 yen admissions. The evelvator goes 28 mph. Your ears will pop. Check it out when visiting Yokohama. You can even see Mt Fuji.

Very recommended side for observatory deck, clean and tidy, 900 yenes entrance fee. The restaurant offered drinks, side dishes, beverages. Dishes consist of huge hot 🌭 dog, Nachos with 5 small sausages, drinks offered specialty drinks, coffee, teas, sodas like cola,ginger alle, Japanese mocha, juices like apple,orange, grapes. Very clean and not crowded.

The former tallest building in Japan, you can take a quick ride to the 69th floor for great views from Yokosuka to Mount Fuji. There is a library, coffee shop, and gift shop at the top. There is ample seating and space to spend time at the top of the building. Highly recommend giving this a try if you are in Yokohama.

It was once the tallest building in Japan, now the second tallest but it still holds the record with the fastest elevator in Japan running at over 750 meters per second. The views are stunning and the sweets at the observation deck gift shop are tasty. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Yokohama.

I love the atmosphere on top of the tower. It is so much more relaxed than the Skytree with a lot less crowding. You can grab a drink from the bar and watch the sunset without time pressure. Both times I went to the tower I was able to see Fuji, one time only the silhouette and the other a clear view. Incredible.

The elevetor is very fast!! Top speed is 750 m/min But you barely feel it, and the ear pressure is not as bad as we thought would be. Floor 69 was reached within one minute! For a ticket of 1000 yen, I guess it's worth it.

Food was not great. Onion ring were ok, they were crispy. Burgers were not good. Meat tasted boiled. Fries were not good either. Pulled pork sandwich was ok. Very expensive meal at $80 USD (11,000 JPY)

They didn’t let me use my unity points even though I let the server know so before I ordered anything. She told me it will be taken care of at the counter after everything. So I went ahead and ordered 3 signature drinks (with a souvenir glass) and two appetizers. When we were ready to check out, they told me I couldn’t use my unity points because they were having a problem with the app. They did give me 20% off, but after the tax they pretty much gave me 10%off. Since I didn’t wanna make a scene and I’m not from the country, I paid what I ordered. The person at the counter told me I will gain some points for the purchase I made, but I never received it. I didn’t feel that I was in Japan at all because of the services and experience. I’ll definitely Not going back.

First time in many years to visit a Hard Rock Cafe. Experience was great. Service was excellent and very quick for food and drinks to arrive. Expensive for a Yokohama restaurant but generally Hard Rock is on the higher end. Budapest Burger was very tasty. Popped into the merchandise store as they had a Moon / Hard Rock collaboration, met the designer which was an added bonus. I will return in the future.

One the highlights of our Japan trip for sure. What a service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. And the food was delicious. I had the Sukiyaki burger, their specialty burger, WOW !! The staff was amazing. And a special thanks to our waiter Kyotaro. You made our experience so much better.

Hard Rock Yokohama is always an exceptional and immersive music experience. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff very professional and friendly. The food is, as always, high-quality and delicious. Prices are higher than average. It's definitely not something you should visit every week.

We were looking for some American food and Hard Rock delivered. I got the bang bang shrimp appetizer and a small cesar salad. The salad was good. Beware the shrimp are pretty spicy. My husband enjoyed the half rack ribs with fries. Then we got the desert trio, apple pie, chocolate brownie with ice cream and cheesecake which were all delicious. The staff was very kind and the food came out quickly.

The atmosphere is hard to rate because while it’s beautiful it betrays the rest of Chinatown being “Chinese” because most of the servers are Japanese however I do understand it’s hard to staff such a large place with only Chinese people. Food was super good I tried multiple dishes, and all were pretty authentic Chinese food. The rooms were beautiful and there were many intricate designs.

There are so many delicious restaurants in China town but this may be my favorite! Everything we ordered came out so incredibly fresh and well cooked. The atmosphere was sophisticated and romantics . The staff is very attentive giving you fresh tea even before your pot was empty. I wish they had a few more dumpling options but everything was amazing.

Came here due to other reviews, but was extremely disappointed. The food is too sweet by my standards. Perhaps they’re making it for the Japanese palate, but as an ethnic Chinese American, my taste buds were overwhelmed by the amount of sugar they seem to be using. Had the lunch special at 2,800 —the pork and cabbage stir fry and the fried tofu were covered in very sweet soy sauces. The only thing I enjoyed was the ginger chicken. Also ordered the radish cakes and cabbage dim sum. Not the best. Ambiance was beautiful though.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. Yes, it is rather ornate. But, there was actually too much service. Maybe that is why the prices are rather high. The food lacked a lot. Our soup was rather plain, just noodles, bean sprouts and a bit of pork. The Sweat and Sour pork was not very tasty and the pork pieces were about 1/3 FAT. Later in the day we each had upset stomachs and intestines. This was the first and the last time to go there.

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. Only waited 5 minutes for a seat on Sunday afternoon. Waiters were friendly and attentive. As others have mentioned, the only downside was the price. Didn’t quite feel like it was worth the money, but I would go back and tell others for try it.

Visited here for Chinese New Year eve dinner. Excellent interior. Service is top notch and the food was really good too. Probably one of the better restaurants in Chinatown. They have a good range of good quality tea as well. Highly recommended.

We visited the two highest rated Cantonese restaurants in Chinatown today. One for lunch and this one for dinner. While our dinner experience was not nearly as good as lunch, this restaurant stands on its own as a good dining option. The restaurant’s first floor dining room is ornate and we were able to enjoy live music while we ate. Service was good, but not friendly. Prices were high, but portions were large. We left happy we tried it, but deciding that we probably wouldn’t be back.

We had lunch with an elderly mentor and they set up a quiet table for us. The service was courteous and attentive without going overboard. The food, as well as the plates and presentation, were well thought out. It is a restaurant where you can relax and enjoy your meal. I could see why this restaurant is so highly rated. I would like to visit again.

It was not free to get into the outside food market but do not let that stop you from exploring inside the historic brick warehouse. A few restaurants, the one we decided on was Chano ma and we had no complaints. The service, environment and food was very comfy as they have beds on the wall. Please also stop by the honey stand, The Wharf restaurant and the pie area as well. Just a few more miles away was a fair going on. Do much going on to do in this area.

Waterfront historic warehouses turned into shopping and eating mall. Yes, it's a total tourist trap but a must-see when in Yokohama. An easy and pleasant walk from the nearest train station, Sakuragicho, with the promenade, cup noodle museum, and other attractions along the way or easy side trips. We love visiting Yokohama and it's an easy 30 minute train ride from Tokyo Station to Sakuragicho. I suggest coming here later in the afternoon, walk and shop, eat at one of the numerous good restaurants in the surroundin area, enjoy the night lights, and return to Tokyo (if you're not planning to stay overnight). I really suggest staying overnight then you can do the whole waterfront area all the way to their excellent Chinatown.

The Red Brick warehouse in Yokohama is one of the most famous tourist attractions. We spent almost three hours here because of the weather. We were there on a rainy day. The indoor shopping has become our favorite spot. The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse is essentially a shopping mall featuring numerous restaurants and stores. It is huge. I don't think I had checked out more than half of the shopping center after three hours of walking around. We made some purchases and had drinks and snacks. The shopping experience is good, except it was very crowded all the time.

Let me level with you: the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse looks like it was designed by a graphic designer with a thing for industrial chic and disposable income. On paper, it’s perfect—historic brick architecture, wide open waterfront, and enough boutique shops to bankrupt a small nation. In reality? It’s basically a shopping mall that got tenure. The shops? Overpriced. Like, “We know you’re from a cruise ship and you won’t check the exchange rate” overpriced. Leather handbags, handmade glass, and 800-yen fridge magnets line up with military precision, screaming, “You forgot to bring home a souvenir, didn’t you, Greg?” Now, to be fair, the exterior plaza is gorgeous. Wide open space, clean, breezy, and I can totally see this place transforming during festivals or night markets. You give this place a food truck rally or a jazz fest and it jumps up a full star, maybe two. But when it’s just regular shopping hours? It feels like walking through an Etsy algorithm that learned to charge rent. Would I come back? Yeah. But not for the shopping. I’d come back to watch people, sip a beer, and wait for the kind of overpriced artisan taco that says, “You’re not in Tokyo anymore—you’re in Yokohama, baby.”

I couldn't see much of the exterior because I came at the wrong time—it was nighttime and pouring rain, so this is the only photo I managed to take... But the inside is actually pretty decent for chilling! There are tons of restaurants, and you can grab souvenirs here too. In my opinion, it's way better to buy them here than anywhere else—why? Because they're more *authentic*? Lol, that's the gist of it!

The versatility of Yokohama Red brick never ceases to amaze me. They host a ton of seasonal events throughout the year and it is located near world porters mall and Cosmo world, this place is on the top of the list and will definitely return for another visit.

For an experience this is a good place, but not exactly a museum. Entrance fee for an adult is 450yen. Inside, if you pay another 5000 with a reservation you can make ramen noodle on your own.( making the dough i guess) the 1F has a few walls with history of ramen and evolution of ramen in Japan. Also there’s a souvenir shop. In B1 and B2 there are retro type ramen shop which gives the vibe of old japan ramen alleys. Here you may choose a ramen shop to dine and you have to line up between 30~1hour depending on the popularity of the shop. And agin after paying you can enjoy your ramen. So the entrance fee is kind of exaggerated because it is not exactly a “museum”. As an overall it was a nice experience and ramen was good.

The history of ramen in Japan was interesting but the highlight was the ramen food mall in the basement. With the help of a young Japanese woman we queued up for about half an hour to order at our chosen restaurant. The wait was definitely worth it. One of the best konkatsu ramens I’ve ever eaten. Midweek would probably have been five stars.

Really fun visit with multiple ramen restaurants inside. They are rotating restaurants so they will always be eventually different. Can also get half sized ramen as well. Had a rich history section and a nice souvenir shop. Line up for ramen varies with what time you go.

This is a definite must see in Yokohama. It packs a lot of interesting history in a small space. There’s a small-ish museum and two floors of a recreated 1950s neighbourhood full of authentic ramen shops. The ramen is definitely delicious and reasonably priced - for an attraction. You can also get a mini portion so you can sample from more than one shop. It’s only ¥450 to enter but you’re expected to buy at least one dish of ramen. Still worth it. It could use a bit of a clean in certain areas and the smoking room definitely needs to be removed - it’s completely unnecessary and stinks up a section of the museum. Weekends are super busy. We went on a holiday long weekend and it was rammed. There was no line to get in to the museum but we had to wait about 45 min to be seated for food. Worth it though.

Lovely Museum with very tasty ramen and a lot of Info on the history of ramen. A little unfortunate that you can't just order one ramen for the whole group and sit down in the restaurants. Everybody in the group needs to order at least one ramen bowl which can get expensive quick. Other than that I liked it here very much! Will come again to taste the rest!

Most visit place for the lovers of Ramen 🍜. Discover the history of Ramen, shop for varies instant ramen. Try out 6 different ramen restaurants. Number 1 store seems to be the most popular. If you have time you can even book ramen noodles making class. Definitely something to do for every one young and old.

This Bills is in such a great location, and it’s even better if you can get a table outside. I’ve come here a couple of times and the service has been EXCEPTIONALLY good, super friendly and surprisingly attentive, almost like they can read your needs before you even ask. Foodwise, the portions are satisfying and the taste has been consistently great. My favorite so far has been the burger; a little smaller than I’d prefer, but the flavor was absolutely amazing. I also like that the plates aren’t overly large, and this leaves room for dessert. The ricotta pancakes were soooo good! with the honeycomb butter really took them to the next level. While yes, it can be a bit on the pricey side(drinks, main plate and dessert for 2 people around ¥10,000), but considering the location, service, and quality, I personally think it’s worth it. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well which is a good point to consider! Bills has definitely become one of my personal favorites and will always be an option if I'm around.

The chicken schnitzel is good and the ricotta hot cakes did not disappoint; fluffiest we’ve ever had. The full Aussie breakie is nicely presented with the taste to match. Must try if you are around the Red Brick warehouse as there are hardly any queue.

It’s such a great spot for brunch! I absolutely loved the berry granola and oat milk matcha. The staff were wonderful, and their service was excellent.

TBH I have very high expectations after I read some posts from influencers. But sadly, I don’t think I will ever come and try again. I ordered a coffee and a honey pancake. The coffee is fine. But the pancake is super dry and salty. I put all the syrup on but still tasted salty. It is very dense too. And seems like it has been overcooked.

Decent restaurant, friendly staff. Menus available in English and Japanese. Located in the Red Brick area of Yokohama it’s a nice place for a quiet lunch. With seating both I does and out the atmosphere was nice. While the food was decent, it’s definitely more fancy than common fair and not somewhere I would bring kids, unless they like trying new things. $$$ price point. Marked it off the “to try” list but probably won’t go again.

The pancake with pistachios and berries was artistically arranged to create an enticing and delightful visual display. The iced coffee, pancake, and cappuccino were all excellent and reasonably priced.It closes later than other restaurants, which close considerably earlier.

We went around 9:30, got seated right away. We ordered toast with poached eggs and scrambled eggs. And roasted tomatoes on the side. Pretty straightforward, no sides no garnish almost. My scrambled eggs were nice. Frankly, poached eggs by themselves are too small of a portion to be served by themselves. These two mains, a side, and a coffee was over 4000 yens. Not sure if it’s worth it. I originally wanted the hot cake with bananas bur was told it would take 20 mins so I decided otherwise. They only have regular milk and almond milk. It was somewhat difficult to communicate. Nice location.

Spent the week at the Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu, and the Cafe Tosca was the provided breakfast. I may be biased, but the food was really good! After a day or two, I really seemed into what I liked and stuck with it for the week. The options of raw fruit and veggies is poor, but the provided tuna and egg dishes were exceptional! Big fan of the salad bar, omelette station and dumplings. The coffee machine makes pretty good cappuccino and espressos! I enjoy the dishes.

Really enjoyed the lunch buffet with excellent service, and also so convenient location when attending any event in nearby event halls. They have wide selection of various dishes then also various main dishes. I especially enjoyed the roast beef, and omurice, as well as pizza and asparagus. Desserts, coffee, other drinks too. I went on 11/17 and was honestly disappointed. I was looking forward to roasted beef, but they were hard and the sauce was not good at all. The pasta was overcooked and I stopped eating after just one bite. The bread was too hard and the tempura was greasy and not much different from the tempura we make at home. The only thing I enjoyed was the curry with no ingredients, salad, and strawberry mousse cake. The coffee was bad, I don't know if it was the machine or the beans, but it tasted bad. Anyway, there was not much on the menu, almost nothing tasty, and the satisfaction level was infinitely low for the cost. I was looking forward to it because it had a good reputation, but I don't think I will come back a second time. I hope for improvement.

We visited Yokohama several months ago and occasionally found this cozy buffet. Fresh seasonal food, simple but delicate. Mainly Japanese, Italian or Mediterranean cuisine. Fried Kamaboko in action corner of kitchen stadium and minestrone were especially impressively satisfying.

Had a nice dinner buffet with friends to celebrate the holidays. Food was excellent. Service was fantastic. Their staff was always there to assist you. And the ambiance was amazing!

The staff could speak mandarin which was helpful for ordering. The menu was not extensive, but that was the reason why I chose it out of the hundreds of restaurants in Chinatown. They specialize in rice congee and a few dishes and I was fortunate not to have to queue at 2pm. Opted for the crab in ginger sauce (the ginger was a bit strong and most of all the dish was salty) which arrived prepared for easy consumption. The 3-treasure congee was a little too thin for my liking, but it was tasty.

This is my absolute favorite porridge (Okayu) place in Yokohama Chinatown! I always come here when I'm in the area. ​I always order the Offal Porridge (Motsu-Gayu), and this time I also tried the Shrimp Shumai and the Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork. The Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork was a first for me, but it was incredibly delicious - the black vinegar had a rich umami flavor! ​Their customer service is wonderful as well. Just a note: they only take reservations for banquets, so you'll have to wait in line for regular dining. ​Thank you as always! I will definitely be back.

Mainly a congee restaurant. I went with the salted egg congee and was not disappointed (864 yen taxes in). Cash only. Mandarin speaking staff, efficient service. Small restaurant but easy to find.

Real good congee! I also recommend the ginger crab. The sauce is amazing.

The food is delicious, better to go a bit early or late. Although the ocean/bay view is awesome, on sunny days the curtains are closed during breakfast.

I recently visited this buffet for lunch and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the high price. You also had to pay for drinks (except for tea, coffee, and water). Most of the dishes were cold and lacked flavor. Despite the “Meat Fest” theme, the selection was minimal, and what was available was not tasty. The poke with avocado was disappointing. I’ve had much better experiences at other hotel buffets. If you’re in Yokohama, I recommend exploring local restaurants instead—they’re likely more affordable and offer a far better dining.

I went to celebrate a special event at noon. The ambiance inside the 5-star hotel is beautiful and refined, and you can see the level of attention to details. I found the service excellent, the staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the food, there were many dishes to try, and although some weren't to my liking, most were very good in my opinion. The desserts were also delicious. I will definitely return in the future.

The breakfast buffet was 4,200 yen for adults, which is not too bad after using 2,000 yen f&b credit being intercontinental ambassador and staying in the same hotel. The variety of food was okay, nothing numerous. The taste of food was good. I loved the Japanese food herem. It's too bad that I could not try everything because I was too full. The servers were nice. This was the first intercontinental hotel buffet in Japan that I've tried, so nothing compared at this time.

Every year when we visit Yokohama, we eat here at Ocean Terrace. Food quality was good and atmosphere was good as always, their service that night was very poor. Drink we ordered did not serve for half an hour, the plates we finished not taken as our table was pile up with plates and glasses. They need more improvement and hope to see you next year again with their exceptional service as they used to be.

I checked in the hotel rather late on my arrival , I didn't have much choices for my dinner . The food & drinks they served really didn't worth US$55 . A rather disappointed buffet dinner inside a 5 stars hotel. Also, the steps around the food area is not good for people holding a plate of food.

I had the opportunity to try the lunch buffet. The restaurant is situated inside the Intercontinental Hotel and has a nice open view of the ocean. The buffet featured a number of dishes from all over the world, and all the offerings were quite delicious. A magical experience, even better than 28 years ago. Iwasaさんwas attentive and sweet. We didn’t care for the caviar sandwich, but everything else was wonderful: fresh, complex, flavorful, beautiful. The dishes delighted our senses. If we count the warm ごぼうbread and the crunchy baguette it would be five out of five.

The worst service ever. Where do I start? Once I have arrived to the restaurant the waiter approached me and said dinner only served at 5:30 PM or 8:30 PM, keep in your mind I arrived at 6:30 PM. The audacity of it that the waiter suggested I should go and eat at the Chinese restaurant. Really??? If I wanted to eat Chinese food why would I approach your restaurant?? Doesn’t make sense right? Keep in your mind that I am a guest in this hotel and staying for 5 days, wouldn’t a guest be a priority ? So far I have spent more than $2,000 in terms of accommodation and daily breakfast, also this is my last night which I decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. I work in highly competitive sales environment and I would never ever tell a customer who’s willing to spend a good amount of money to go and try one of our competitors because we can’t accommodate for you. If there was a negative star I would definitely give that negative star. But unfortunately Google doesn’t allow that.

Clean and high-quality products. The store is never too crowded. For me, they do sweet better than savory. My recommendation is to go for the sweet (rather than savory) items. Also, they run out of things very quickly. Don’t bother coming here after 2:30pm unless all you want is plain white bread. I’m not a pastry person, but I come to Uchiki Pan every other week. It’s my go-to neighborhood pastry shop.

I've been wanting to visit this bakery since 3 years ago and I finally did!

At first, I was apprehensive about this bakery, as ‘shinise’ shops can be a bit of a hit and miss sometimes. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I bought melon pan, meat pie and minced meat curry bun (‘keema curry’). All were nice but I would definitely come back for the minced meat curry bun. However, the most popular product seems to be the English loaf. Try to visit before 4PM on the weekends, as mostly everything tends to be sold out by then.

A good bakery at the end of the shopping lane . It was crowded on Sunday . Their bread and patissisere range were tempting us to buy every items . Just bought a few savoury cakes and crossaint. We will return to this corner bakery again .

The chicken with fries was quite delicious, same as the pancake. Didn’t take the pictures but the burger we had were just so so. I think it’s overall an average restaurant that you won’t be disappointed by the food if you can’t find anything else you want to eat in that area. But we def had better burgers else where.

There were a few unfortunate things in this place during our experience. First off, they have people sign in when there’s a line, but they don’t properly call out when it’s your turn despite not having much space in front of the restaurant to wait at. If they skip you, you’ll be forced to sign up again at the bottom of the list. Food was not as good as expected at all. Fries were a bit too salty for me. But both burgers- the signature Bubby’s and the Pulled Pork were too dry. I know it’s supposed to be American burgers but I don’t remembers burgers in America being that dry. Service was fast though, so that’s a plus! Over all, I didn’t feel like it was worth the trouble and the high prices. I wish I had ordered some desserts to try, as they looked like they had some good options.

Had the eggs Benedict. Originally I entered the place because the pies on the front looked good and I thought I might as well eat lunch here. The food came quickly but unfortunately it just wasn’t good. The sauce was weirdly sour, the rest was pretty tasteless, even the home fries, that are just pre fried, frozen and heated sliced potatoes. They are not even a little bit crunchy. Coke Zero was weird too. Didn’t stay for the pie The staff was really nice though.

Really mid flavor for me. The apple pie was soggy as anything, and the burger had very little seasoning. The fries, service and atmosphere were great though!

Ordered medium rare burger. It came with medium cooked. The fried chicken pancakes required around 20 minutes of waiting time. When it was served to the table, the pancakes were surprisingly only lukewarm. The texture was too stiff, dense and chewy. Not enjoyable to eat at all. The fried chicken pieces were tasty. Strong pepper flavour. Unfortunately, they were too dry and hard.

Such a chill cafe with lots of interesting art work hanging on the wall, I also liked the lighting inside. The staff were okay, service was alright looks like they are just doing their job. The food was good but not amazing especially for its price, thought it’s too high for the quality and taste of food.

This is a gem of a traditional gyunabe restaurant in Yokohama. Not only is the beef of the highest quality, but the attentive and excellent service from the staff truly enhances the dining experience. It's situated close to Yokohama World Porters and is easily accessible from Bashamichi Station (Minatomirai Line), Exit 6. If you want to enjoy fantastic gyunabe with top-notch service in Yokohama, this is the place to be!

I came for dinner. The services were amazing and friendly. Food is amazing. I believe most of people come for the beef. Definitely worth a visit. Came at around 6pm and no wait. Special set seems to be provided for lunch. Will visit again if having chances.

Front desk to server was very welcoming and friendly. Food was very delicious. Menu was easy to order even in japanese. Service was superb and attentive. We didn't speak japanese, but they were very polite. Our waitress spoke English. I do not agree with previous comments that they are rude to foreigner. We did not get rushed to order or eat our meals. They seated us 40 minutes before their closing time.

The lunch specials were good value for the quality of food. The Sukiyaki was preferrable than the Gyunabe, with stronger flavour and better meat taste. Service was really good, with the servers wearing kimonos.

We came to have lunch here with reservation because this place was famous and popular. The place was very nice and cozy. The service was great. We order beef sukiyaki (which called Beef nabe here), tempura and chawamushi. All dishes tastes very delicious. However the price was rather expensive but compare to the quality of food and service. Nice sukiyaki restaurant, well known with good quality meat and attentive service. We ordered the lunch set for around ¥3200 which seemed to be the most popular and were served very quickly. Did not appear to have an English menu. This location also seemed very popular, a reservation seems to be pretty necessary if you want a standard table with chairs. Showing up 15 minutes after they opened at 11:15am for lunch with a party of three barely got us in without a wait and it was one of the traditional floor seating tables.

I thought the lunch menu was a little limited but the food was excellent. If there's just 2 of you, there's a good chance you'll get a seat at the window. This gives an excellent view of the Nippon Maru, and if you're lucky you might see the furling / unfurling of its sails. Coffee was really good.

Theres a min order of 1 pie per pax. We ordered Dutch apple pie and apple pie. Honestly was very disappointed with the quality esp the apple pie; tastes like some random convenience store-bought pie. It is cold and mushy with very thick ends that taste like egg cakes. Dutch apple pie fared a lil better with the crumbs n crust but still a tad too sweet for me. All in all totally not worth the money n calories. Will not be back again.

One of the best meat pie place in Kanto. We ordered beef meat pie and the mushroom style pie. The size is pretty small for the price (1,200 yen for a little meat pie) and it took 30 minutes to get the pie. The beef meat pie taste divine but the mushroom one wasn't impressive which they could improve. Service was nice but it took us 15 minutes to get seated even though there were 5 available tables. They also have online shop in case you prefer to skip the waiting time.

This is a typical Japanese restaurant that is way too behind the game. When I entered a restaurant, the first thing the restaurant staff must ask is whether or not the customers have food allergies. Here, it was silly to ask, and they did not seem to care. They also served pies that customers said they could not or would not eat. If they leave the pie, it will lead to food loss, but where are the SDGs measures? Their priority was obviously and clearly on sales. I went to the restaurant with high expectations because there are only a few pie stores in my area in Japan, but I will never go there again. Good apple pies will be offered in the different stores. That is why and how Japanese people get cheated. FYI, for all the talk of American and/or California, there was no banana cream pie, which was disappointing as well.

Update: Came back after 3 years or so the resto became more pcked and busy so you can't just walk in. I recommend you to get a reservation before walking in. They have great system of unlimited pie still but limited option for the main menu. But if you are hungry for pie they have a good balance between healthy and heavy pies, sweet pie tho' you need to pay more :) I love their drinks! Review from 3 years ago: Yeah it was cozy, I wish there will be some staff who can speak English :) the food is fine.. people there seem nice and friendly. But they are all timid lol.

Average, not worth coming back. Appetizer and main dish are pretty poor quality, fortunately pies are better but I loved just a couple of them out of five. I also expected a lot more by the apple pie, to be a pie shop. There are a lot of places in Tokyo with amazing apple pies. Service also quite below average. Waiters don't look around at all and it's hard to get their attention.

Date visited: July 9, 2023 I like the atmosphere of the place. They have a wide selection of pies and drinks. If you are lucky to get a table outside you'll get a nice waterfront view. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The place is large, but seems to be very popular, and it’s a good idea to reserve a table in advance if you are traveling all the way from Tokyo. Nice views next to the bay. They have outside seating, if the indoor area feels too cramped. Staff are friendly, but service can be a bit slow, especially if you are sitting outside. Understandable, given the size of the place. Prices are above average in my view. They have options for take out.

Okay-ish food & selection of wine. We went for the omakase course, and if it weren't for the beautiful piece of beef that came at the end, I'd have left 2 stars instead of 3. The menu raises expectations with fancy words, but delivers far too little - the soup was good! I wish I had a bit more bread. The fish was beautifully cooked and the beef was brilliant although both plates came very late. On the other hand, the rest of the menu was really lacking in taste. The crab toast as a starter didn't taste much of crab, the terrine really wasn't necessary because it was too bland, and both pasta plates were a tad dry. The dessert was a chocolate terrine but I was a little letdown in how simple it was, and still didn't deliver. Essentially, you pay for the view more than anything - but what a view. If you book early enough, you get a nice window table with two seats, facing the beautiful Bay Quarter shopping mall. Service was... confusing and painfully slow. We were welcome properly, but that was the height of the service. They realised really late they didn't serve us water - although we didn't have to ask, it wasn't up to the standard. One of our waiters was confused with the cutlery order - I genuinely don't really care about that, although it shows lack of training and/or attention. What really bothered me was the way they served food on our table: plates would be placed on my left, in the middle, on the right, and sometimes worse, right between us (?), which is what happened with the coffee... served from our back because of the way the seats are (both diners are facing the window). This is an absolute no-no in service - again, even moreso at this price range. Please consider safety before efficiency - we can't see you coming from the back, and if I moved at that time, I could have knocked the hot drink out of your hands, and forget about the stains and embarrassment - that could have burned you, the waiter, and us, the diners. It was worth the price for the view, but the food except for the steak was forgettable, and service... not forgettable, but for the wrong reasons. I will probably not be back again anytime soon.

Lots of dishes made with cheese which is great, however more could be made of it. I ordered the cheese and ham plate which seemed to be just a few pieces of regular cheese with a few slices of nama ham and a few olives chucked on top. The cheese risotto cooked in the Parmesan wheel was nice. The drinks menu is quite limited I thought. If you want to order the set menu note that all at your table will need to order it.

Great food and friendly service! Lots of options to choose from in the course menu, and had generous portions and a good way to try a variety of dishes. The peach appetizer was my favorite, and the steak was cooked perfectly.

If you are a fan of cheese, you will love this cozy little spot in bustling Yokohama, go with the #1 items 5 cheese foundue and 5 cheese pasta finish in a barrel of cheese. Set meals are great value for money. The main steak I ordered is very scullculent with great char on the outside.

Five course set meal with choice of salad, cheese fondue with piping hot freshly baked bread, outstanding pizza and pasta, finished up with Camembert cheesecake and caramel flan for 3,300 yen a person plus 600 table charge. Portion sizes were more than wife and I could handle to be honest, so come hungry. Drinks are priced very modestly for the area at 550 to 880 a pop, being only three minute walk from Yokohama station. Online menu in English. Caprice salad came with a chill blasted peach instead of a tomato, a delicious surprise!

I ordered a classic strawberry shake, which tasted good, but I feel the strawberry flavor could have been a touch stronger. The place itself is cozy and conveniently located, making it easy to find. Edit: have tried the white and chocolate classic shakes also, and it was just as good as the strawberry one. Also had the french fries with cheese, the cheese sauce was generous, not just on top but layered in the middle too. However, the fries got soggy when served, and the cheese sauce could have been a bit cheesier.

Great food, but if you’re expecting the burgers to taste exactly the same as they do in the U.S., you won’t find that here. The fries taste exactly the same though. I’d definitely recommend trying this Shake Shack out!

Is a meal at ShakeShack really worth three times as much as at McDonalds across the street? I used to think so but I am starting to doubt it. At my recent visit, the hamburger was dripping in fat (partly because the bread was fried), you could not taste the cheese, and even though I ordered a SmokeStack, there was no real smoke aroma. And the bun was soggy. The cheese fries were OK but only that. And the black sesame shake was great but did not work with the meal, plus it was so thick that I had to pull it out of the cup. No, it is not really worth three times the competitors price.

I decided to try a black sesame milkshake. I admit, I was a bit worried but the experience was excellent. It was a lot like a peanut butter milkshake but with sesame as the nutty flavor instead of peanut. Different, not as sweet as it would be at home, but excellent. The service is excellent. There are order machines. The staff also has a picture menu and their English is excellent. The food looks good with generous portions for the burgers.

Decided to try this place out since it’s an American franchise and was surprised to find one in Japan. Great customer service. Went in the evening and it was busy but order came real quick (less than 5 minutes). The establishment is nice and they keep the tables and area clean. Good quality burgers. Patties are large and cooked well enough to be juicy in the inside and the buns has a soft texture to it. Tastes like a burger should, almost gourmet.

A bit steep price and a little pretentious. But good decoration. It puts you back in a western restaurant vibe. The food is pretty good. I recommend trying. The olive oil that they served was of the highest level.

A friend highly recommended this place, so I decided to have lunch here. I didn’t know what to order so I booked their lunch course. I did have a very good meal, but sadly it didn’t remind me of the great dining experiences I had in Italy. Still, highly recommended to especially for anyone looking for high quality pasta dishes.

Spent several months trying to make a reservation, and finally found an opening. We ordered the margherita pizza with DOC mozzarella and the ricotta, basil, and tomato pasta. Both dishes reminded us of our meals in Italy, as the flavor was great. If you happen to secure a reservation here, you will surely not leave disappointed.

Stayed in Japan for a month and this was the worst restaurant I encountered. The food was extremely disappointing—main course served cold, beef tough and inedible, sushi had a stench. Service was equally bad; the front host was unfriendly. Unbelievably poor experience.

The worse restaurant experience for our Japanese trip over the week. Not the servers fault but we had heard the wait for short rib was 14 mins and it was actually 40mins. But after you ask it magically comes out instantly. Servers attitude was nice. Again, not the servers fault. Portion was small and the temperature was inconsistent. Not tourist friendly and we went to eat at McDonald downstairs afterwards and it was much better. I do not recommend.

I recently heard about this place and visited for my wedding anniversary today. As it was my first visit, I’d like to try a lighter menu. So I ordered a lunch course with wine pairing. To make a long story short, they made my special day even more special! I was very satisfied with their food and service. It was upscale Italian dishes and paired with wine perfectly. Staffs were also very friendly and kind. At cost of Lunch course (JPY 5,000++), they provided great value for money. Especially Wine pairing was worth every penny. If you were a drinker, I’d recommend it. English menu was helpful coz I am not familiar with Italian nor Japanese. But if you understand Japanese, you will get better information from the sever who certainly knows what thery are doing. I’d like to try a dinner course next time. :-)

The food is very good, albeit small portions. It’s located in the underground of Barney’s New York, which feels American. They did a lot of explaining each dish. Very competitive prices

chef is janapense but learned French cuisine in France, was the champion of pasta for 2019 (if i remember correctly), was amazing food and extraordinatory service provided, we are family of 4 and we enjoyed very much. definitely worth of it! will try again later.

Excellent italian - japanese restaurant. Service was exceptional (michelin level) from start to finish. Food courses and wine pairing were excellent as well. We did the 1/2 pour pairing and could not imagine doing a full pour with all the courses. Highly recommend for any occasion if it is in your price range.

It is located at 10th floor of sogo department store. The interior design of this store looks like a traditional japanese style. Every employee seems to be very well organized and dedicated to customers. Main dish is on the basis of eel fish. I already experienced several restaurants which are very famous for eel dishes in Japan. To compare with other restaurants, this restaurant gives lighter and less salty taste to guests. To me, I prefer strong and deep seasoning taste when I eat a roasted type of eel. So I needed some extra sauce for making it deeper. Also felt that it is needed extra rices. Good quality authentic Japanese restaurant with a fantastic view in front of Tokyo bay conveniently located in Yokohama Landmark Plaza. This place may be a little pricy, but if you want to enjoy authentic Japanese course dish in Yokohama area, this place must be one of good candidates. Foods they serve was carefully cooked and seasoned, just as real Japanese food should be. And the y are all presented beautifully just what we expect for real Japanese food is supposed to be. I say it is not an everyday meal, but sometimes it is good to enjoy a feast, is it not?

High end traditional kaiseki food. Pricey compared to most dinning options, but worth a occasional splurge here.

It’s a bit strange that no one is posting videos of the Kabuki dance. I was hesitant to post as well since I wasn’t sure if there were any privacy rules about it even we weren't been told not to post. But the main reason we went to the restaurant was to see the Kabuki Maiko. After her dance, she came around to chat and play some games with us. The food itself was pretty ordinary and a bit overpriced.

The liver and heart are especially well seasoned with bottled beers being moderately-priced. The wings are great too! A high rating Tabelog restaurant and experience was very bad. Wanted to sit at the counter but was told only high price lunch set was allowed. I ordered a set less the ¥3K. Excessive oily and apparently the dark color was either aged oil or overdone. The tempura was done by an inexperience cook rather than the professional looking chef at the counter. Rice and miso soup was barely warm.

Absolutely loved our dining experience at Leone Marciano. First, the restaurant is beautiful! The wine list was decent. The food was amazing! There are course or a la carte options and we chose to order a la carte: calamari, two pastas (which the kitchen split for us), a meat dish each and desserts. Everything was exceptional! We were particularly impressed with the steak filet which was cooked perfectly - medium rare (as requested). The steak was lean - which is not as common in Japan and the peppercorn sauce was excellent! It was a generous size - as was my pork saltimbocca. The servers were very attentive and accommodating for our limited Japanese language skills. Leone Marciano will certainly be on our date night rotation! Reservations suggested.

The Corso di Paolo was a very tasty, and well put together. The staff were exceptionally attentive and accommodating. Would reccomend for special occasions as they have the option to add a cake with a personalized message which is a nice touch.

Leone Marciano is for sure one of the best Italian restaurant in Japan. They do authentic Italian food. Being myself an Italian living abroad I enjoy time to time to go there and I have never been disappointed. Recommended if you are in Yokohama!

We had a decent time here on a Saturday night. The bars theme is based off of old sailing ships with unique decor and a dark glowing ambiance. The live music was pleasant and not overbearing. The drinks were delicious but a little pricey. We stayed for two music sets which lasted for about 2 hours. I recommend the windjammer cocktail specials including the jack tar high.

If you are looking for live jazz in a nautical styled pub, this will be your jam! We had some interesting nachos (not the North American portions) and margaritas while listening to a trio of piano, stand-up bass, and drums. Fun night and would definitely go back.

It's like the very best of a time capsule. Menu includes clamato, cocktails, escargot, burgers, free chicken ... Real 70's fare, but delicious. Safe, welcoming, clean and consistent. Nice attention to detail. We've been coming here for 2 years before Covid and we are so glad it's still going strong! This kind of jazz bar doesn't exist anymore, so it's vital more people support it. ¥700 cover charge to watch a jazz trio play old jazz standards, brilliant musos - riffing, jamming and enjoying themselves. Price is really reasonable and it's a part of jazz history which is great too support. People come here for the love of music, not to show off, not to get drunk. It's a genuine place for musicians, music lovers and jazz bugs who live history in a cosy place that still holds old school charm. Highly recommended!

You cans choose from two different beans depending on the day but one of the beans were bought in from Seattle. We both choose the beans from Seattle. I also tried the Espresso Zenzai for the first time, which is essentially a Japanese twist on a classic affogato. It was really tasty, highly recommend! If you're in the mood for something sweet and truly fabulous, definitely have the cheesecake, it's still one of the best I've ever had. One of the things I love about this place (besides the food and drinks) is the staff. The baristas are so kind and friendly, and they are glad to explain the menu in detail. One of my favorite things is that they pour the latte in front of you so you get to watch the creation of the latte art - and each type of latte has a different style of latte art! It brings their craft to another level and makes for very photogenic drinks, if that's your thing! (It definitely is mine, as you can see...) It's also just across from Yamashita park and a few streets from Chinatown (Chuukagai), so it's a great place to sit, rest your feet, and catch your breath while you take a break from the busy streets and crowded park.

Despite being tucked away the restaurant is huge and really romantically lit but perhaps a bit dark during the day. There are a variety of different seating areas ranging from booths to middle seating to long sofa seating. The pizza was amazing and a small was just about enough for two of us although we weren't starving. The craft beer was good and they also sell pints of Heineken for ¥950 which honestly isn't that bad considering the setting. I would definitely come again.
