A phenomenal traditional venue that supports local young people. We had a very pleasant time there. The dishes were served quickly and the portions were large. The best seabass we ate in Cambodia! We were given a refill of water all the time. In addition, when I forgot my backpack they did what they could so that I get it back 🙏Highly recommended!

What an amazing place with great food. We had lunch here everyday for a week and I highly recommend stopping by for a meal if you ever find yourself in Sihanoukville. It’s a training restaurant with local youths learning to prepare food, cook and provide service. They do a great job with it and lots of them find jobs with other restaurants and hotels after graduating from the programme.

I don't really understand why this place is that well rated. It is true that the service is very nice, the staff comes to serve you the drinks which is very unusual. We tried one pizza and the seafood amok. The 8.8$ pizza was frozen and small size and the 11$ amok was filled with too much seaweed. Very disappointed !

Clearly worth the potential detour - this would seem to be a relatively new location since the previous restaurant would presumably have been closed post COVID. Tried the clams and buffalo and would taste both excellent! Even the regular portion is generous enough for sharing. Presumably the full menu would reach similar high standards in my book this would clearly qualify as ”fine dining” on a very moderate budget! When you feel that you’ve had a great deal on dining the social context of this establishment could easily be the benefactor of your tourist shopping needs as they offer locally produced items at reasonable prices!

Lovely dining experience, food was excellent, staff were friendly and professional and the atmosphere was like eating in a beautiful garden. It is hot now, but the fans and the shade made it pleasant. We really enjoyed the unique flavors and appreciated supporting an organization that works to help children in Cambodia

Excellent service from students learning the craft. The food was delicious. Sure it's a little pricey, but think about who you're helping here. Went back for a second visit, same excellent service but the chicken stir fry with spicy basil was a miss. It lacked any heat, was dry and tasteless. I ended up sharing the shrimp-pork and eggplant bites. The spicy cilantro margarita on the other hand was a hit. Go early, before sunset, before the rat comes out, kinda ruined the experience.

One of the best places for sweets and snacks in Shanoukville, everything is fresh, no GMF and organic, we got the cookie, the brownie and the mediterranean sandwich we loved it!!! Totally recommend

Amazing place, very calm like an oasis in the busy center. The food is delicious as well and you are doing something good by supporting them.

The rice bread and plain yoghurt there are excellent. The pastry products were less amazing. The only chocolate chip cookie, I had there, tasted like it was on the shelf for a few days. It wasn't really fresh. The brownies were better, but not really good. The rest of the food was usually of good quality. The service is friendly and attentive. The time, until food was served, usually was a bit too slow. (I was there several times.)

A nice and shady reprieve from the noise of the city. Breakfast is decent, coffee too. Did not try the pastry but they looked scrumptuous. The shop has some interesting things to buy as souvenirs; tourists may find the prices at the shop a little higher than expected but it goes to a good cause and there are a variety of knock knacks to choose from so you don't have to necessarily fork out so much to contribute.

The vanilla milkshake is incredible, the only minus is the vegetarian burger. The vegetarian stuffing had big chunks of red, green and yellow pepper inside which weren’t that nice to eat and made the whole burger very underwhelming. However, I did try my partner’s cheeseburger and it was so delicious! A no go for the veggie one but I’d definitely come back for the cheeseburger.

From Australia so use to good burgers but was craving one so this looked the goods. Was pretty happy until my last bite when I bit into a piece of porcelain or something either in the patty or amongst the other stuff in the burger. Could have ruined my day/ trip if bit on it straight. Have to give a 1 star because of that big issue.

The burger was huge compared to phillippens and other places here in this town in cambodia the meat was not over cooked it was tasty they deff earned my smile the coffee shop beside them made good smoothie they called a shake the fries.were a small portion and were not hand cut but they were good smokeing area out side with unbrellas the beef burger was so good i ordered a chicken burger for take away didnt need there return pollicy kuz it earned my smile righr up the street from the round about with lion walking distance

It had a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, kind of like an American diner! The burger was big and really tasty.

Do yourself a favor and stumble into this place at the end of your night. No idea what time they open or close, but they're definitely open during prime stumbling hours. Very tasty drunk food. They even have Huy Fong Sriracha sauce at your disposal. Staff are also very friendly and understanding of any speech impediments you may or may not have.

Place is not crowded, with music from restaurants beside it. Good place to hangout. Food is clean and delicious. Price is affordable considering the location. Ingredients are fresh. Brother who served us is friendly and speak good english. Opened since before sihanoukville is famous, do recommend to come and support this local family-owned business. Close at 12am.

What a great spot to people watch plus take in the beach views. The food was tasty especially my pork spring rolls and very well drained too. Lemon shake with coconutilk and ice was a new experience and one I loved . There house white wine is only $2 a bargain and my ice was free . Lovely friendly staff too

We had a fantastic experience at Khins Shack. The food is superb and of great value, the attentive staff were very polite and friendly. We had such a great time we went back two days in a row. can highly recommend

Came here with a group of 17 people one night. I had ordered the crab fried rice and many other things here. The food here is okay, not the best either. The fried rice was pretty plain and the crab they topped it off with still had bits of the shell in it. A lot of what I believe are teenagers work here at the restaurant. They were laughing and giggling with each other while taking our orders. Even one girl who was a waitress there was smoking near our table after we had gotten our food. The service wasn’t bad but the professionalism isn’t there but then again I’m not back home in the states so my standards shouldn’t be so high either. Overall I wouldn’t really recommend this place as it was very mediocre to me. But there’s a good selection of seafood items and there’s also live music there at night as well. The fact that it’s right near the water is something beautiful as well. Aside from that the food ain’t got me wanting to go back.

Angkor Beach Bar is situated in a prime location on the beach, amongst a string of bars and restaurants. It is an expansive place, with a large menu and a very friendly, but shrewd and dishonest serving staff. The ambiance in the evening is soothing and attractive. Lighting could be better, they need to take out the UV hue. The menu resides on an interactive and very sticky iPad. They push for alcohol. There is a picture of Grey Goose if you are looking for Vodka. But that is not what they have. Instead only of an unheard of Greek variety, at $2 a shot. Why so cheap you may wonder? For food, I ordered the spicy shrimp dish, that came out fast with good optics. The entree was prepared well, with the seafood cooked just right, with a robust flavor of spices and chillies. The drama began when it was time to pay the check. As pricing was in USD, I asked if I used cash, would they give me change back in American currency. The server said yes. However, she comes back with the balance in Cambodian currency. I stated, I could have used a credit card (in retrospect, that would have been risky). She said, their card machine was not working. I picked up my change and walked out.

My friend and I enjoyed visiting Angkor Beach bar but the music was too loud and the DJ was a joke playing straight from YouTube playlist 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. The service was really slow and this is my second visit so it was the same, the main reason we went there was because of the beach view that was it. When our food did finally come it was excellent.

Nicely positioned across from the beach. The food was a little dry yet well presented. The fried crab rice was not the same as represented in the menu. Could hardly find any pieces of crab meat. Pricing is at least double that of Siem Reap.

This restaurant is quite nice, with a good atmosphere right next to the beach, making it one of the best options for locals (Cambodian) in Sihanoukville. All of the food here is impressive, not only delicious but also fresh. I had the Sach Arng (BBQ) and it was amazing, especially for someone like me who loves tofu sauce with chili – I highly recommend it. Enjoying great food while listening to the sound of the sea is incredibly romantic.

This restaurant is awful. The moment we had to pay, the staff cheated on us. They put a different price on one dish while on the menu it was cheaper. They answered that the menu we had was not updated but it is not the fault of the customer. Moreover the size and the price of the pizza are overrated. 5.80$ for a size S pizza of maybe 8 cm diameter and 16.40 for a size L is disgusting. By the way the diameter was not indicated. They also gave us a dish that we did not command.

Good pizza, but not very recommend if you want an Italian pizza style. Appetizer was good would recommend the chicken wings, for the pizza meat lovers should be enough. Others are avarage. 😣

Worst restaurant of pizza. All the pizzas seem frozen, it didn't taste as good as the price. The staff was nonchalant and imcompetent. I advise you to not go there.

Delicious vegan food, smoothies and cocktails! Tamarind margarita was delicious, as was the burger! Staff are very friendly too! It’s located at the port, but the entrance is at the back of a bar / restaurant on the ground floor, so it’s a little tricky to find the first time!

The food is good and tasty but a bit pricy. You can get some vegan/vegetarian options at other restaurants for cheaper prices. I found the portions to be a bit small and the taste just good enough, nothing amazing. Atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. The smoothies were definetly my favourite and a must try!!!

Avacado and spinach on toast with cashew cheese and seeds on top of chunky wholegrain/wholemeal(sorry I can't remember which but it was delicious either way) bread...my favourite meal by far, with banana and cacao shake in this beautiful setting, a really lovely place! To access it you walk through another restaurant and up stairs at the back :)

This place knows how to present food! It's a great place to have a healthy hearty meal that would make your day. Freshest ingredients and very nice vibe! There is a good wifi if you are looking for a working space. I wish I had such place in my city.

Refreshing to find a whole fresh foods cafe that makes most items from scratch. Delicious garden bowl and burger. Food for the soul! Price was slightly above average for other restaurants but worth it for the whole ingredients. Closed Mondays. Located upstairs at the pier so great spot to overlook the beach and perhaps catch some fireworks.

Really poor food and service. The spaghetti Bolognese contained very little meat and the sauce was horribly sweet. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was also covered in the same terrible Bolognese sauce. Also the Italian guy who I assume was the owner spent the entire time cooking and serving with a lit cigarette in his hands. The wine was fine and the salad was fresh however it was probably the worst Italian meal I've had in a restaurant.

Not a traditional Night market. More a hippy hangout with food and music. Opens at 4pm. However at 5:30pm very little is open and several vendors not even here to set up their food stalls. Eat and drink elsewhere and then come here later for the music.

This is the place you want to be on a Saturday night in Otres! Rocking live music. Great new bands/acts each week. Amazing food from BBQ to Indian to Mexican, and even vegan. It would take at least half a year before you might even think about becoming bored with the food options. Numerous clothing and jewelry stalls to peruse while listening to the amazing music. DJ'd music late into the night after 1am. No lack of alcohol to keep you fueled late into the night. Easy transportation into and out of the place with tuk tuk & drivers. The only thing wrong with the place is that it isn't open every day.

The Saturday night special. Packed with food venders in stalls and trinket peddlers at tables, there is almost always live music at this venue. This sprawling venue is only open on the weekend. Bring your thirst and appetite on Saturday. My advice is to sample a little bit of everything at the various food vestibules.

There is good and bad here. Great is the cover and vibe and the true community feel. Good is the selection of vendors with the premier vendors in Otres participating. Not so good: the rates vendors pay for rent makes most charge well above KH prices. Nous nous sommes plaints auprès du manager. + de 80$ d'addition, et pas un centime de geste commercial (on nous a juste proposé une assiette de frites gratuite en plus). Une parfaite honte.

Nice AC room, nice garden and good restaurant! This was the nicest room I had in Sihanoukville. It was clean and had an AC. In front of my room was a little garden. The restaurant of the guesthouse was pretty good. The walk to the beach was just 8 minutes. In my opionion the price was a little bit to high.

It is very seldom that i give high ratings in my reviews but this resto is exceptional! I could have given it 5 stars. I practically loved all the foods that was served to us. It's a fusion of different taste, American and Mediterranean. The staff that attended to us were polite and accommodating, even the owner Craig managed to go to our table to check if we needed anything else. For customers like us, it's a plus! Foods are reasonably priced too! The only downside (which is a real big deal for me) was i've felt we were rift off by whoever packed our takeaways! Obviously, for only a couple like us and the amount of food that we've ordered (as evident in my photos), we had leftovers that i have instructed the waiter to pack for takeout which he did. I didn't bother checking on the contents as he handed it to me, i was trustworthy! But wait til i've decided to open them after a couple of days of just sitting there in the fridge (i've intended to reheat them for my lunch since i am not in the mood to cook that time). The chicken fajitas (leftover was nearly half of the total serving) was not included in the pack as well as at least 3 to 4pcs. of the feta bread! I was furious! It shoudn't be that way! We've paid for those, they should have come up to us and ask for them politely. Very disappointing! We've eaten in others restos in SHV and it's the first time that we've encountered this kind. So, heads up! Better check on your takeaways before leaving the place.

Mick, Craig and all their ilk are life savers. This time last year someone stole my phone. I wasn't staying in their hotel, but when they found out, they took complete care of me. Told me which police were friendliest, where to get a new one, hung out and were there for us even though major things were happening in the hotel that day. In a place like Sihanoukville where the gorgeous beaches are morphing into casinos, they were a pocket or kindness. I had no real way to repay them, so please do me and yourself a solid, hit this place up and give these good people some business.

Rating refers only to the restaurant or BBQ. At the beginning I was sceptical, but finally I ordered the BBQ. For $7 you get a rich and very tasty meal. I was positively surprised by the taste.

The wait was totally worth it. The food was fresh and authentic Indian cuisine. Might take a little bit longer than your average restaurant but it is totally worth it.

It was great to come here for a dinner and get a taste of India again. They have a good selection of vegetarian curries, as well as meat dishes, breads, samosas, lassi. Apparently in the low season it's better to come for dinner when they fire up tandoori oven. We had daal fry and a veggie thali, both delicious. The deal on thalis is great: you get servings of curry, daal fry, bread, rice, salad and potatoes, starting from 4 dollars.

My husband and I had a samosa each, followed by butter chicken, fish curry, cumin rice and garlic naan. We were stuffed full and it was a really delicious meal. The owner, a lovely man, takes pride in his cooking and his cooking area is open so you can see how clean it is. Thanks for a lovely meal.

We went for all you can eat fish buffet (6 dollars) and it was super fresh and tasty, served by the nice owner. Free flow of tandoori fish, fish curry, fish tikka, Bombay potatoes, veg korma, onion bhaji with pickles and chutney, as well as rice and naans. They also have good lime juice, as well as some alcoholic drinks. Come with an empty stomach and enjoy the food 😀

Tasty Japanese food. Probably the best in Sihanoukville. Had tonpeiyaki, ramen, sushi and onion rings for dinner here. Slightly expensive compared to restaurants in Phnom Penh.

Huge menu selection from sushi and sashimi to curry dishes and rice dishes. Great atmosphere with indoor and out door seating. Play area for the kids. Food is as good or similar to restaurants (considering the limitations of available ingredients) I used to eat while studying in Tokyo area.

Food is good. But I don’t like waitress are careless with customer. I was here for lunchtime today. Their don’t care I walk in until we tell them. And I feel alone I can’t ask for sauce or anything because they all gone. The restaurant so silent and they all just stay in kitchen after giving my food. And when one of them come outside just sit next to kitchen corner and playing phone. Too careless and too freedom at work place. Good food. I always order curry here. The meat is tender, the gravy is sweet and savoury with good consistency. The owner is super lovely. Very attentive. But unfortunately, not with the waiters/waitresses. Please be prepared to wait about 30mins (or more sometimes) for your food.

Had a huge beef filet steak for $7,-. It came medium just like ordered - great, soft as well but not a single indicator that it has been fried. So no aroma from roasting, wich it would have made just perfect. I will try it again 😁 - this place needs a second chance

This establishment is suitable for Many!, in terms of the fact that there is an original Khmer-European cuisine "DELICIOUS😋"! A pleasant street restaurant with delicious well-cooked food, all the staff are friendly and smiling + knowledge of the language 😁 and of course they have a MiniBar, but I want to note that the range of alcohol is quite decent!

Just arrived in Koh Rong/Sihanoukville a couple hours ago and we were checking out the food nearby and came across this hidden gem!! I was hungry and absolutely love udon so I got that and California rolls to try. Hubby got some edamame. Everything was delicious and owner and chef is very talented. Come and try this place it's really good!!

It was my first time eat in here, so far so good. The ambience was good, the owner so friendly, and the food was delicious. Really like in here, need to arrange to go here again next time. And you can't compare this place with other japanese restaurant in Sihanoukville, the owner serves you one by one so need to wait a little bit patient but no worries the food was good as expected.

We had dinner there tonight. It was great. We had 5 items for 2 people. It was too much but we wanted to try a number of dishes. Every dish was good or great. The chef (owner??) does everything so it takes a little time but it is worth it. The dishes come out one at a time, which usually I don't like but here it was OK because they were so good. A bonus was the wine was good also. The background music was great blues that I loved!!

Best food I've had in the month I've been in Cambodia. A little pricey, even for this area of the country which is higher than any place else I've been. Meals were $8-$13, but well worth it. Pizza was good, the chicken cordon blue was amazing. Staff was nice. No complaints besides the hummus could have been better, still very good tho.

I've come here on August 11, 2017. People say it's pricey but for me it's worth the price. Their service is great, I get free naan bread each time I ate here. And their pizza is best I've had. It use a wooden oven and their portion is big. I always order a pizza and a big bowl of pasta to eat with my friend. I also order their capuccino which is another great thing in here. Their coffee is bold but less acidity, love it! Will definitely eat at Olive & Olive again if I visit Sihanoukville.

A mediterranean resto that offers good food and nice view of the Two Lion roundabout. It's nice to hang around here esp. at night and watch the locals bond with their families just sitting around one of SHV's known landmark. Khmer people have simple pleasures. Be sure to come early coz the place easily gets crowded. The resto is popular with tourists. It has seating area outside. The owners are accommodating. They offer this thin and delicious $5 pizza which is big enough to share. Aside from this promo, the rest of the foods are pricey. While waiting for your order, you get a complimentary balloon bread with dips which is a plus.

Tried having the same plates that I used to have few years a go when the place was new; and what a huge difference in the quality of meat and the freshness of food... The only thing fresh there is the pizza, u won't be disappointed with pizza.

I got the margherita pizza for $5 USD. It was delicious and absolutely huge! Had half the pizza left over to snack on during my night bus to Battembang. It also came with complimentary pita bread with yogurt dipping sauce, spicy dipping sauce, and a few olives.

Shameless. We ordered a miso chicken. When the waiter communicated the order to the cook the latter clearly expressed he didn't feel like cooking that. We also got the vegetable tempura, which was basically deep fried vegetable leftovers (old enoki mushrooms, pepper bits...). As for the sushi, well, basically they served crab sticks.

For $25 a night you get a small roo. With a window, bed, a mosquito net, and your own bathroom. Plus common beach front with nice loungers and shade umbrellas and the sound of waves lapping on the shore. The owner speaks good English and French, is super nice, and the place is kept clean. Take advantage of this place. No telling how much longer it will be there.

Located right on the (sadly plastic-covered) beach, however I can't really recommend it for a relaxing stay. The huts are very basic, not a problem in itself, but also dark, hot and sticky, full of insects (biting ants ate us alive!) and the bed was sinking in the middle so we rolled into each other constantly. No hot water, bathroom didn't lock and only separated from the room by corrugated plastic, impossible to feel clean, and big gaps between the floorboards (which were also filthy) so we lived in fear of dropping anything. There's only one small wicker shelf unit and a tiny bedside table to put anything on. It's nice to be in a quiet beachfront spot, but very hard to find and get to from Sihanoukville, down a dirt road with huge pot holes. Our tuktuk driver refused to take us all the way there! These roads make it difficult to get around if you want to do anything other than wander along the beach, such as to visit Otres Village (nearly a 30 minute walk) and there are not many shops nearby to get things you need. We were harassed by beach vendors right at our hut door, making us feel quite unsafe - plus the doors didn't really lock properly, just an old padlock on a hook screwed into the wood. On the plus side, the staff are lovely and the bar food and drinks reasonably priced for the area.

I only ate here, and we got to use the sunbeds! Fantastic customer service, very good price for food and drinks. Free wifi. So i know nothing about the bungalows, probably renovation is needed. But breakfast and drinks and service are very good for the price.

Fithy floor boards. Got an electric shock from the fan so was without all night. Power went out in in the night. There were no laundry service despite advertising this There was no hot water and no bedding on the duvet. Staff have very limited english despite advertising that they speak it and werent interested in my complaints. It is right on the beach which is great if it was cleaner.

Would not recommend this bar to anyone. It is an especially hostile and unwelcoming place for Westerners. the bar is almost completely comprised of single Chinese men looking for love (not that theres anything wrong with that). They refused to take song requests, even Loyal by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga. You could tell the crowd was stunned by the refusal to play an absolute banger. At that point we realized we were unwelcome and had to move on. I'd highly recommend The Big Easy next door. Staff is welcoming and kind and love Loyal by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne and Tyga.

The food is quite good. The ice cream is not top notch, but quite good as well. But the service is terrible. The staff does not care about their customers at all. When you're done eating outside and want anything more, you alaways have to walk inside and ask for someone, as they're glued to their smartphones all the time and never come to check, whether their customers would want anything else. I've eaten a lot of of ice cream in my life. That's the first time I regretted it. Tried 4 different types. Vanilla, strawberry, passion fruit and straciatella. All were not good. You couldn't taste it the normal taste of them. I wanted to order pizza before, but they didn't have although it was on the card.

As most other reviewers have said, this has to be 5 stars. Normally, restaurants with long menus fail at most of those things. I had a double cheese burger one day, and a margarita pizza another day. Both were 10/10 for Cambodia, and better than many restaurants in Western countries. They also deliver via the usual food delivery apps. Zero complaints.
