We had our wedding reception here . The Tapas was authentic and delicious . Nick even made us a delicious wedding cake . We got everything we wanted and more for a very reasonable price . We love their breakfasts too !

It’s a beautiful cappuccino from Malakaai. Absolutely nice service and nice coffees. Highly recommended. Keep it up good work.

Excellent breakfast, Greek eggs and Eggs Royale served with pink peppercorns. Friendly and efficient service. Followed by very good coffee. If you are in Kent just turn left and go to Faversham. Treat yourself to quality.
Paul M — Google review
Perfect breakfast! We tried Greek Eggs, English breakfast and pancakes. Pancakes were super soft, fresh and tasty. Perfect portion for sharing with somebody. My scrambled eggs were a perfect combination with feta cheese. I really recommend for everybody. English breakfast served with sausages and bacon from local farmers. Nice and runny eggs. Staff were very nice, all food was made to requirement. Place is clean and friendly also. I never drink that good coffee in my life (I'm barista). Strong and creamy. Will be back definitely when or if I'm in the area again.
Izabela M — Google review
Great place. A warm welcome, lovely decor, great menu and their freshly basked croissants were absolutely delicious! Definite recommend from me if you’re in the area 👍
Ben T — Google review
Staff are friendly, welcoming and chatty. Service really does come with a smile. The food is simple but we'll presented and delicious. Coffee is excellent. Highly recommend a visit.

Oh, what a gem of a cafe! If you’ve ever dreamed of being told "No, we can’t possibly make a coffee, because we might be busy making a cocktail — that’s just TOO much!", then congratulations, this is your Disneyland. Who knew that caffeine and alcohol — the dynamic duo of beverages — were such mortal enemies behind the bar? I arrived with the outrageous expectation that a cafe-bar might be able to multitask. Silly me! Clearly, my request to have a flat white was an affront to the sacred schedule of the overburdened staff. I mean, why offer coffee and cocktails on the menu, if you're only ever meant to choose one... per century? Watching the staff bustle around avoiding eye contact while explaining how incredibly overwhelmed they were made me feel like I was part of an avant-garde theatre performance about disappointment. Bravo! In short, if you're looking for a place that masters the art of selective service and shattered dreams — look no further. Just remember to flip a coin at the door: heads for coffee, tails for cocktails. But never, ever both. Pathetic
Darius G — Google review
Friendly staff and very cozy place. Pancakes where non typical pancakes, more like crepe but ok.

Tasty breakfast, staff incredibly friendly and reasonably priced
Antoni E — Google review
Lovely little cafe , unfortunately they weren’t serving food as it was late-ish for them but the staff were really nice. The coffee the lovely lady made was perfect and rather surprising the milk they used agreed completely with me. Generally it has an after taste, but this one was pretty unique. It’s a clean, charming place too. Looks rather reasonable in price too.
Mysterious D — Google review
Great stop for breakfast. Service can sometimes be a bit hectic, when we sat down the waitress was straight over to take our order before the menu was even down followed by the remainder of our visit listening to them chatting away. Cannot fault the food
Michael Q — Google review
This place is our go to, and it should be yours if you’re in the area! The staff are wonderful, the chefs are faultless and the food is amazing! The prices are fair and if your kids are good they might just get a lolly when you pay 🍭 I have been going here for as many years as I can remember, and I’ve never had anything less than a perfect experience. Get yourself down there, you can thank me later

£13.60 for 2 run of the mill bacon sandwiches and 2 normal white coffees! Thought it might of least been crusty hand cut bread, but no just cheap as chips supermarket brand by the looks of it, with 2 rashers of run of the mill bacon and a circle of stead in the middle!!! Terrible! JUST GO NEXT DOOR TO WETHERSPOONS AND GET BETTER FOR HALF THE PRICE!!!

The Refectory Kitchen is a beloved casual dining spot in Canterbury, known for its comforting homemade food and great coffee. It has been a staple of the city's food scene for years, attracting students looking for a revitalizing breakfast or brunch after a night out. The eatery takes pride in using locally-sourced ingredients and offers an array of dishes including exotic sandwich fillings and house-cured bacon.
Can't fault this delightful restaurant. Ordered drinks and food which was ready pretty quickly despite being busy. Food was great quality with a service to match with happy and conscientious staff. Really enjoyable
Dave R — Google review
Food was good, bacon was a bit salty. Baked beans were good, not too sweet or salty, with lovely tomato sauce. Vibe is the reason we were there. Service was nice, care and made sure you were well served.
Barista O — Google review
It was a good start to the day to have brunch at Refectory Kitchen. I enjoyed my pancakes and hot chocolate, largely because of the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They greeted me warmly with no wait time despite having a busy morning. Then patiently recommended food choices. Throughout the meal, they checked on me twice to make sure eveything was fine. To the pretty and efficient-working staff, thank you for your hard work!

We’ve been at the Reflectory Kitchen on a Sunday morning in August 2025 and had a tasty English breakfast. Opens at 8:00 h! Recommendation!
Jörg W — Google review
We went this on Sunday evening. It was a little bit crowded, we have to wait for 20 minutes. But it was worth. I ordered smoked salmon and avocado. There are boiled eggs, salmon, cucumbers and a lot of avocados on a toast. The taste of vinegar was excellent.
らすこー — Google review
Went to The Refectory Kitchen for breakfast — staff were really welcoming and friendly. Got there early so plenty of tables, but it filled up fast! Great menu with lots of choice. I had the English breakfast (delicious) and my wife had the pancakes, which looked and tasted amazing. Very popular spot — we’ll definitely be going back! Parking is about five minutes away next to the train station. It’s in the old part of the city, so wheelchair access is limited with stairs at the entrance, though staff would likely help. There’s also an outdoor seating area for warmer days.

The Refectory Kitchen is a nice spot in Canterbury. My husband and I came here for breakfast. Staff were friendly. Food and coffee were good. I would go again if in the area.

Nestled on the bustling high street, The Leading Light - JD Wetherspoon is a charming pub that perfectly embodies the essence of this well-loved chain. With its rich history linked to Henry Wreight, a key figure in Faversham's development during the 19th century, it offers not just great food but also a glimpse into local heritage. Patrons rave about the first-class meals and generous portions, particularly enjoying dishes like burgers that showcase genuine care in their preparation.
Great service with a smile from the chap at the bar, and waitress. Pub itself is a bit tired, but it's wetherspoons, it does the job nice enough food at a decent price.
Richandjulie A — Google review
Lovely and relaxing here service was outstanding I had gammon egg chips and a nice pint of ale all for £8.80 at 4.30pm.The decor is lovely as well good atmosphere here
Chris T — Google review
Mixed Feelings on a Monday Evening Visit, I must say my first impressions were not great. The atmosphere felt quite lacking; it was cold, dark, and rather depressing. I understand that Mondays can be quiet, but the overall vibe left much to be desired. As for the staff, they came across as rather non-descript—neither welcoming nor unfriendly. They seemed to be just going through the motions. When our food arrived, I was a bit unsettled by the condition of the dishes. I ordered the tomato soup, and to my dismay, the bowl was chipped. It made me wonder if the chip had just occurred or if it had fallen into my soup, which wasn’t a comforting thought. The condiments also left much to be desired; they were grimy, sticky, and felt dirty. On a positive note, we did enjoy our food despite these issues. However, the overall experience was marred by the state of cleanliness. I left wondering if the kitchen was maintained to the same standard as the dining area.Would I return? Probably not. The cleanliness concerns and the lack of a welcoming atmosphere make it hard to recommend this place wholeheartedly.
Ella D — Google review
Nice location few minutes walk from station. Plenty of space and seating area. Lovely staff who trying to give good and quick service. Always great value for money in Wetherspoon. Although very grim seating area as soon as you entered around bar counter. But good seatings at the back and in garden.
Win T — Google review
A good 'spoons pub, the bar area can get very busy. Try and find a table and order using the Weatherspoons app if you can. It does have an outdoor seating area.
Antony D — Google review
One of the nicest Weather Spoons I have been to. Really clean and tasteful interior and a pretty beer garden. The staff here and friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. First class service.
Amanda J — Google review
Wasn't good unfortunately. They had run out of at least 4 items we asked for. There is nothing more disappointing than piercing your eggs on a benedict dish and being greeted with a stiff chalky yoke 😬 The food was also stone cold and I think the staff knew it was bad because they didn't come near us after dropping the dishes and running away 😂 It is cheap and you can bring your kids. BUT think I'd prefer to leave the kids at home, skip the food and enjoy the £2 lager in the garden next time 😂
Michelle F — Google review
Went to Faversham wetherspoons this morning for a coffee. No one to serve me at the bar for at least 10 mins and the member of staff that I called over said they "were not bar staff and that they had only 1 bar staff member this morning". When asked who can serve me then as it wasn't busy. They shrugged their shoulders at me without any indication. Not the best start to the visit. I appreciate if you are short staffed, having worked in hospitality myself. What I didn't appreciate was the lack of help to find the member of staff to make them aware that I was waiting at the bar to be served a singular coffee.

Café Guild is a charming spot in Faversham that offers a delightful dining experience. The friendly chef surprised one visitor with the best American pancakes they've had in the U.K., while also accommodating another's request for an English breakfast. The café's pleasant service and scrumptious food left a lasting impression, making it a recommended choice for future visits.
Nice bright and clean ambiance. Pretty inside. Friendly table service. Lots of choices including pancakes and French toast!!! We only came in for coffee and of course we needed to have the apple pie and nata! Had a nice relaxed coffee after exploring the area. Apple pie to take away and one of the slices barely made it to the car! Will definitely come back again to try the other stuff in the menu!
Almira B — Google review
really not for me. new york bagel was buttered (?) and not toasted. didn’t even notice the mustard part of the mustard mayo. it wasn’t like they made the food wrong- the recipe was just not for me (or the people of new york i imagine!). coffee was burnt and bad. they were awfully busy as it was a weekend, but it just was not good enough. really lovely staff when you spoke to them, but as they were so busy i didn’t want to say anything. everyone around seemed happy so i might of just chosen the wrong thing - but i won’t be going back!
Cake D — Google review
We had soup, ice cream, and drinks—the banana smoothie was a tropical dream! The only catch? It was so hot inside the café during the heatwave, I wasn’t sure if I was sweating or the ice cream was—either way, we both melted.
Arosha W — Google review
We had such a lovely breakfast this morning at Cafe Guild. The chef was so friendly and kind - he asked if I wanted some American pancakes when I arrived and little did I know they were going to be the best I’ve had in the U.K. (and I grew up in the states!). They were also accommodating to my partners request for an English breakfast. Delicious lattes, and other cakes or pastries available for takeaway. It was a wonderful morning at Cafe Guild.
Hannah D — Google review
Exorbitantly priced ‘extras’. Live locally so do use local businesses if at all possible. Called in for brunch with my wife for one omelette, a tuna panini and two flat whites - £32.50! On querying the bill it became apparent the helpful “would you like a bit of everything in your omelette “ actually involved £2 per extra in what was a very moderately sized omelette meaning its cost was double the menu price. Add £1.50 for a spoonful of diced tomatoes and cucumber and £2 for four slices of sauté potato (not constituting even half a whole spud) and you arrive somewhere around the final bill. To be fair my son’s hot chocolate cost was waived following the query. The debate post order was becoming circular in nature so gave up and left, not to return. The cafe is clean, warm and obviously popular.. just be careful if offered ‘extras’.
Mike L — Google review
I'm not sure who crowned this place a coffee haven, but they might need to recalibrate their taste buds. The coffee tastes like someone accidentally roasted the beans in a campfire and thought, "Yeah, that'll do." At £3.50 a cup, you'd expect at least a hint of flavor beyond "burnt regret." Maybe consider investing in better quality beans that haven’t been through a bonfire? As for the cakes—if you’ve ever wondered what pure sugar dressed up as dessert tastes like, wonder no more. Subtlety clearly didn't make it onto the recipe list. Apparently, their motto is: when in doubt, just add more sugar! A little restraint on the sweetness could go a long way.
Darius G — Google review
A great addition to Faversham, Cafe Guild serves great food. We have had breakfast, light lunch and cakes. Eggs Benedict is always a favourite and the staff are refreshingly welcoming so will definitely be coming back. 👍

Coffee as expected. Toilets flooded beneath the urinals. Soft furniture so dirty I didn't want to sit down. Put me off eating my cake too after seeing such a poor standard of cleanliness. The pictures really do not show just how dirty they are.

Ok on a positive note the coffee was really good and the staff were very pleasant. The whole place is filthy dirty, run down and un loved including the toilets.

First Starbucks I have ever been to that doesn't allow dogs....which is ironic considering she is probably cleaner than some of your tables. Short sighted franchisee....the staff were good about it though

Costa Coffee is a delightful counter-service coffee chain that offers an array of hot beverages, refreshing iced coolers, sweet treats, and satisfying sandwiches. Many visitors have shared their positive experiences at Costa Coffee, highlighting the warm and professional demeanor of the staff. Families often find it to be a welcoming spot after activities like swimming, appreciating the friendly atmosphere compared to previous ownerships. The cleanliness and safety measures in place make patrons feel comfortable while enjoying their drinks.
Great and clean coffee shop. The White Chocolate tastes moderate, but the cheese and turkey toasties are superb.

It does the job. The staff are doing a great job, friendly and fast despite being busy. The setting (built into a Tesco's) does make it pretty noisy and hectic, but the service and products are everything you could ask for.
James B — Google review
Visited Costa coffee inside Tesco to collect a too good to go bag that had paid £3 for. There was 2 members of staff behind the counter, one chap was working very hard serving and making coffees whilst the other who had a name badge that said Ruth was stood there clearly trying to look busy to avoid serving us on purpose. The chap was very polite and helpful and served us eventually. I explained we’re here to collect a too good to go bag he said do either of you have allergies I said yes I’m allergic to nuts but she doesn’t. The woman behind the counter then took over the whole conversation and said we only have almond croissants left that’s all and as you’re allergic to nuts you should not take it. I said well can I get a refund on it. He said yes I’m sure if you go on the app and explain they will refund it and she instantly shut him down and in a very rude tone said we won’t be able to get a refund because we’re too late, baring in mind the collection window opened 5 minutes before we got there. I said that is fine I’ll still take it because I’ve paid and my partner can take it home and eat it (who was there with me.) The lady started speaking in an aggressive tone explaining I should not have used too good to go and purchased it and was being really rude and disrespectful for no reason, as I was being very polite to her and ignoring her clear lack of customer service skills. I started going on the app to say that I am collecting it and the lady was not stopping talking to me in a rude manner when I was clearly trying to sort it out on my phone. My partner said to me that the order is ready and the lady said really aggressively, ‘WHAT WAS THAT!’ to which I just looked at her and didn’t say anything, as I was very shocked to hear such a rude comment like that. The lady yet again explained that I should not take the order even though I had already said I will still take it and the tone at which she spoke was incredibly rude and really strange. I then said again she will take the order, to which she said ‘well have you even swiped for the order’ (which I was asked before the conversation even progressed into her involvement) And she kept the bag hidden away behind the counter as if I was trying to steal it. This was all a really bizarre experience and probably the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. My partner then explained that the lady was trying to look at my phone the whole time to see what I was doing, she was jumping into personal conversations and being extremely rude and aggressive from the get go. I am a regular at Costa and now will definitely not be going back.

I'm a coffee nut. Costa do the best coffee I love there Americano full of flavour never bitter always piping hot. Super clean tables and toilets. Fast service and gluten free options. What's not to like friendly staff great atmosphere. Try one sure you will enjoy. Special times of the year they do special hot chocolate. It's as good as Belgium honest
John W — Google review
Staff friendly, but doesn't look cleaned in a long time, the large shelf advertising the Reusable cups are thick with dust as leaves circles when picked up, rail along walls thick with dust, floor was not clean or been cleaned during the day from crumbs. Puts you off going back as what's it like behind the counter that you don't see.
Paul B — Google review
Location wise perfect. Quiet. Very clean. First class customer service. Loved being here. You also got a Subway next door Had the hot chocolate which was ok. My Daughter's had Creative Belgian Chocolate it's was ok too. My son loved the caramel crisp he had two of them.

The two women serving on Easter Sunday morning deserve a medal! It was busy so there was a bit of a wait for food/drink but they were working their socks off and being as efficient as possible - and still smiling and being friendly and polite!

Coffee was great. So I had two. Then went back to my car in 1 hour 35 minutes. At home a fine of £100 for parking over 90 minutes. Why have a limit for parking? And more importantly, why are the staff allowing customers to linger over 90 minutes if they know the consequences. I'm disgusted the staff didn't tell me. Will not drink there again. Today, I had an amazing time at Little Diner. I wasn't sure what to expect, but now I can confidently recommend it to everyone looking for a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy road. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options available. Definitely worth a visit!

A must stop place nice people and lovely food thank you 👌

Stopped here a few times for a quick take away tea for a pound, but myself and another work colleague decided to eat in, it’s only got a couple of tables as the little diner is in a 20ft container but don’t let that put you off. I had a breakfast stick and my colleague had an omelette which isn’t on the menu but the fella there was happy to cook one up. We both had change from a tenner for our bits, and we got a free donut… top man, will visit again next time I am in the area. Parking normally available in the lay by and the toilet is in the thunder box next to the container.

Thought I would leave a review of this awesome little cafe on the A2 I always drove past but never went in, So I decided to give it a shot and I was very pleased! Service was good very friendly staff and the food was absolutely on point and also not too harsh on your wallet! Could not recommend enough for a good sit down fry up! Will be visiting again👍

1st time, I've stopped here. And what a little gem. The breakfast was excellent. You can tell everything is locally sourced with the quality of the sausages, bacon, and eggs. Definitely worth a visit.

Road side cafe,on way out from Canterbury. Good value for money, nice breakfast stick, better than Macdonald's etc Great deal on cake and tea for £2.50 Cake was banging.😊 Didn't stop to eat in but take away. Give it a go, if your passing 👍

Nestled in the heart of Faversham, Fillers is a charming bakery and sandwich shop that captures the essence of a classic café. Known for its freshly made baguettes and toasties, this delightful spot offers an array of fillings to satisfy any craving. While they do have pre-made sandwiches, wraps, and an assortment of sweet treats like cakes and donuts, it’s their made-to-order options that truly shine. The friendly staff are always ready to whip up your meal with efficiency and warmth.
Absolutely fabulous food and staff. If I could give 6 stars I would

Best Cafe in Faversham. Has not lost the old school feel of what is is to be a cafe. The ONLY place for sausage rolls! Reasonably priced. I have frequented this cafe for years. The staff are all so lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Will bring food to the door if I have my dog (who gets two cold sausages), and do so for people with physical challenges. Tables outside are a sun trap. Happy days.

A small bakery and sandwich shop, Fillers will make baguettes and toasties to order with a good selection of fillings. They also offer pre made sandwiches, wraps, and sweet baked goods like cakes, donuts, and turnovers. Staff are friendly and helpful, putting orders together quickly and efficiently. The sandwiches are excellent, and I can heartily recommend their chicken tikka bake (if you don't mind crumbs). There is some on site seating but it's very limited. The shop can also get very busy over lunch as many people from nearby offices will walk down to find lunch.

Come here most days for lunch, same great service and equally great food. Nothing too much trouble and more than happy to make fresh food at request.

This place is amazing! Great staff and nice location with the seats outside. Much better than the highstreet" Greggs" by miles of the quality and the pricewise! The baguettes are the best I have to say that ! Hope they will enrol more in a national level some time in the future! Highly recommend!

Nice place, nice food but slow service. (Staff training maybe...)

We went here this morning to try it out, the food was f****** outstanding. Well worth the money, service was fast and polite. The price was very fair. The staff here do an amazing job keeping the place running, we will definitely go back there. Well done keep up the good work.
