The Mediterranean Style from the outside inside and inside the food was very cozy and delicious. We went for breakfast on Sunday and found many tasty things. The quality of the food is 👍 and the "service friendliness" also inviting . Last but not least the music underlines the general impression of my first visit there - a good, ambient mix of pop and Latin. When I went first time to a new place and have got sucha good feeling and impressions I like to big up with 5 🌟. Go there and have a good time!

It started well, with nice food and all you can eat for 9 EUR, currently wouldn't recommend. I'm mainly a daily buffet person (mo-fr 13:00). Those unfortunately started getting worse, and boring. Moreover the service got worse as well, long waiting times (10+ minutes to place the order and get the pass to the buffet, sometimes 20+ minutes to get the bill) and unfriendly. Also tried the bread-less burger there, was so-so. Their burgers in general are overpriced. 12 EUR for a lunch with a drink - you can do better in Bochum.

We visited here two times, the location is great, there a suitable parking area. The food was perfect first time and OK second time. Better to reserve a table on weekends

I love the atmosphere and the service, the staffs spoke good english so for me it was helpful but the milkshake (5euros) I ordered was not worth the money. It was just a half glass with extra whip cream on it. I ordered a veggie burger for 11 euros and it comes along with fries and mayonnaise. Loved the fries and mayonnaise but burger was too dry. Definitely not worth the money, maybe I will try something else for the next time.

A family with 2 kids on a Sunday evening for dinner. Was pleasant and kids friendly ,the server was very warm and welcoming. There are a good options for vegetarians and vegans . We ordered one Veg pizza, veg lasagna and kids Pommes with kids drink. The service was quick and the food was tasty. Would like to recommend further.

I like Extrablatt in Bochum because of its atmosphere and menu, but the service is really slow. The staff only shows up when you're ready to pay, and they hardly check on you. Recently, we were charged 12 euros for two mint teas without getting a bill, even though they were supposed to be around 8.90 euros. This isn't right; always check your bills to avoid surprises! Additionally, the restroom is consistently messy, giving off more of a train station (Hbf) vibe than that of a restaurant.

A nice bistro in the edge of the path for biking or walking close to the lake. I would really wish that it was closer to the lake, so you can have a view to the the water. There is also a children's playground next to it. The service is very friendly and attentive.

I ordered: chicken breast with veggies and potatoes as a main dish, vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and hot cherry sauce as dessert and an Irish coffee as a drink. The main dish, despite being correctly cooked, didn't taste good at all: flavors were dull and separated one from another. Ice cream had many water ice granules in it and lacked milky flavor and texture. Cherries of the sauce weren't fresh despite the recent cherry season and had a touch of amaretto in it (wasn't stated in the menu and I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew in advance since I dislike it). For the coffee, as it was delivered well before the ice cream, was already cold when I started drinking it. It was very strong, much stronger than expected. One of my colleagues ordered a schnitzel with French fries and a cheesecake. There were two large schnitzels for one portion but their meat was thin (I believe, 3 mm thick) and the flour layer around the meat from each side was about the same thickness as the meat itself. The cheesecake however was really flavorful, creamy and well balanced, the best position in our selection of the menu. Overall, the dish sizes I've seen are large, sometimes even a bit overboard. However, for the average taste that you get it feels quite underwhelming and overpriced. At the same time the ingredients seem to be that of quality – I am genuinely disappointed and perplexed as of why it was't really tasty. It surely fills you up but no pleasure is gained in the process. Servers acted indifferent towards customers and their service was repeatedly inaccurate. One man's main dish was made with chicken instead of pork and the man was denied the replacement when asked for it. When serving the hot drinks, whipped cream was forgotten on two drinks. Also the service is rather slow but that is understandable as they are three-ish waiters for almost a hundred tables. Just keep that in mind. In the grand total my impression was rather negative, I am not eating here again. The place feels unwelcoming due to the service and the food is overpriced for such dull taste.

A delightful setting and location for a light lunch on the terrace in the sun! The service was excellent and the food delicious. The only drawback to this location is that smoking is permitted in the outside eating area. Fortunately were finished and about to leave when a (presumably healthy living?) Cyclist arrived with his partner and quite selfishly lit up a cigarette. We left, but the couple sat downwind of him were visibly disturbed by the smoke billowing around them. I like this bakery in Bochum. Fresh bread, enough place and great corner for children to play. Was a bit shocked about 7 euro for an egg, but probably we need to get used to the prices now.

Nice Café with an more traditional appear than most of the new Cafés in Bochum, which makes it very cozy. What makes it special is that there is a florist next to it, where you can geht yourself some flowers and/ or enjoys your beverages.

My husband and I are real coffee snobs from Sydney and we both agree this little gem of a cafe serves the best coffee in Bochum City.The coffee is a real mix of deep, full flavour but with a wonderful creamy smoothness...something only really skilled baristas achieve with a good bean mix! The atmosphere is modern but cosy and you really feel the owner cares about her customers. Straight up 5 stars from us!

One of the staff here is a nightmare! I visited this place few weeks back with one of my indian friends. We ordered coffee and while leaving i took a picture of the place as it has a beautiful interior. One of the staff members (an old thin lady with short hair and spectacles) came near me and started yelling at me for clickig picture of the wall. She said how dare I click pictures without taking her permission. I said sorry, it’s a cafe and i didnt think it was wrong to click pictures here. She said to me- U mannerless non-german! I swear I was about to lodge an official complaint against this lady for making racist comments, but I decided to not spoil my day. This behavior is NOT accepted in anyway.
