The food was fantastic! They make everything specific to your order. I always order over medium eggs. It usually trips up the service somewhere, not at Johnny Pamcakes though! You can customize your meal and the server will provide substitutions despite the menu saying 'mo substitutions please." I will definitely return. As busy as they were, we got a table pretty quickly. The servers are knowledgeable and impeccable when it comes to their table service. The place was very busy though I appreciate that they still provide wonderful customer service that makes everyone feel special. My server noticed the table next to me had a shy girl trying to order. She wouldn't speak up and wasn't sure what she wanted. The server coaxed her to find out what she liked and made an order just for her. My server also recognized people from another table and greeted them without missing a beat at her other tables.

We ventured into this unknown to us restaurant and were greeted warmly by the lady behind the counter. Hubs had the Buttermilk Connection that he deemed very delicious and I had an omelet with spinach, feta, and tomato with French toast and "American fries" " As you can see from the photograph, those diced potatoes are what the restaurant calls American fries, unlike every other restaurant we have ever been to. My French toast was a bit runny in the center and the food had hospital-like seasoning, i.e. a no-salt diet plan. The cranberry juice and hot coffee were great though. and the staff was sweet as pie. They had ample parking but we had to circle the building on foot to find and handicap accessible ramp. Would we come here again? Meh maybe, due to the sweet staff but we definitely will not be ordering their American fries.

First time there. Heard all about this place since moving to the area, I had eggs Benedict with hash browns and biscuits and gravy, the presentation looked good. But too much sauce on the eggs Benedict, too yellow almost looked like mustard or nacho cheese. Definitely not authentic or made in house. If so please try again. The hashbrowns were mushy and not fully cooked through. Tho the biscuits and gravy were GREAT Definitely recommend, gravy had great flavor and biscuits were fluffy and tasty. Atmosphere, it was crowded, bit loud, but understandable since it was busy, the service was great, seated right away. Server was amazing and came by often to see if we needed anything and if everything was OK.

The Owner greeted us, and took us to our booth, at first place you would think your at aTruck Stop Dinner. That's just because this place is busy, food came out just as I wanted, to and Fresh. Our waitress was on top of everything, even came back 3 times to check on us,even though she had tables on other side of restaurant. Parking is best in back of restaurant. I would honestly say this place is much better then Stockholm Inn!!...had more then enough and had to take the rest home.

I really like the food. Was very tasty and fresh. The soup was the bomb. The hot sandwichs, omelettes and swedish pancakes so delicious 🤤 I do recommend this place

Absolutely delicious! One time I went with my friends and one of them ordered a plate of bacon. Then another. And he kept saying "sorry, can I have one more plate of bacon?" All of us knew how annoying he was being but the waitress was so friendly and kept bringing out another plate of bacon. I apologize for his behavior, but thank you very much Johnny Pamcakes.

Lovely, clean restaurant. Swedish pancakes were just how I remembered them. So, so, so good!!! Tabitha had the most joyful, caring attitude with every table. She was a jewel! Beautiful private rooms and gift shop. This is a MUST DO when you visit Rockford.

Was looking for some place different and found this long established restaurant in Rockford. We went for the buffet which was economical and great! Loved the Swedish pancakes and lingonberry sauce. They went perfectly with the Swedish meatballs. Nice decor and good spacing between the tables. Friendly attentive staff and a pleasant crowd of people. They have a big gift shop and all things sock monkey. Next time I'm in the mood for pancakes, I won't hesitate and be there for the Buffet Saturday or Sunday. $14.99 per person.

Really delicious Swedish pancakes! Also had eggs and some bacon. I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant and the Swedish theme. Overall I would recommend this place!

This is my third time eating at this restaurant and the third time by far was the best! The breakfast buffet is worth the $16 price and just ordering off the normal menu is delicious as well. They are well known for their Swedish Pancakes for a reason and they are my favorite. The waitress Caroline is the best service I have had here and I highly recommend requesting her section especially on a slower day. She is very attentive, friendly, and efficient. If you are in the area I highly recommend this establishment!

This is my favorite breakfast spot. The decore of very cute. The staff is friendly enough. The food is always 100% perfect. We have tried it multiple times and everything has been great. I really enjoy their cinnamon roll. The weekend buffet is worth the money. Food is fresh & hot.

Been going to this restaurant for years it was amazing until today I order biscuits and gravy also for egg whites with spinach and mushrooms. The egg whites were cooked with yoke in them. The biscuits and gravy were horrible i took 1 bite of each and didn't touch either plate after I tasted the horrible food. I said something to my waiter which she didn't do anything about it. I went to pay the $42.00 bill and said something at the pay counter and she ask did you say something to server? I replied yes and she says ok sorry rung my ticket up and charged me for food that was not edible. I will never eat here again. Its off to Alpine Veiw to eat a real breakfast. Its a sad day that they charged me $42.00 for 2 bites of food that I wouldn't feed to my pet dog. I am sure his dog food tastes better. My dog wouldn't eat that garbage food. They don't even deserve one star.But they had no place.You could leave zero stars cuz.It was a zero all the way around!

Stockholm has been around for decades and their quality, service, and decorum has always been 110%. I have dined wirh these fine folks for 40 years and i will continue to do so. Stockholm is my Saturday morning breakfast choice for several years. Eating inside is like diving into Swedish culture with the decor they put on display. As you eat amazing food you also learn something new about Swedish art and culture. Maybe i am being biased here because i, myself am swedish, but then again my taste buds dont lie... its definitely the food. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is made efficently and always cooked to order. I have never once sent a dish back to the kitchen. Thank you Stockholm for being a staple in our city!

It's Western food for breakfast and a brunch. The salmon wrap was good. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant has a great view of the garden. Very nice souvenir shop, in Japanese style. I have lived in Japan for over 3 years.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Fresco before heading into the Japanese Gardens. The restaurant was definitely busy, so I’m glad we had a reservation, it made everything smooth and stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The drinks were just as impressive, refreshing and well-crafted. Best of all, everything was reasonably priced, especially considering the quality and location. It was the perfect way to kick off our visit to the gardens. Highly recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go on a busy day!

Beautiful dining area with great views of the gardens! We came for a little impromptu lunch and we were seated right away. Be careful if you sit next to the windows as the vents make it very very cold. I had the Fresco Breakfast with a half waffle and my mother had the Turkey Club, no arugula, no tomato, no fried egg. I really enjoyed the flavorful bacon, but the sausage was so heavy and greasy that I really didn’t eat it. It doesn’t say it comes with potatoes, but it does and they are very good. The turkey club is actually a hot sandwich, even though it doesn’t say that and turkey clubs should be cold. It was a bit heavy for lunch food as well. The pickle that came with the sandwich was very dry and unappetizing looking, but they are supposed to look like that according to the waiter. I wish the menu was more detailed because I don’t think it accurately depicts what you get. Also, the food is terribly expensive.

Overall, good experience. The potatos were awesome. Eggs were good. Bacon was good. Sausage was good. Pancakes and syrup were subtle in flavor. Steak and eggs were good and cooked as requested.

We love this place. Came in for lunch yesterday and it's packed. We waited 20-25 mins. Service is great..Food taste good as always but our food is cold not even warm😥😔

Would definitely not recommend this restaurant! Poor quality extremely slow service and I specifically ordered no mayo and after a 45 minute wait didn't send it back since wasn't sure how long it would take to remake. Also the bacon was like rubber obviously NOT cooked. Unfortunately this was a terrible experience and it did not live up to the hype.

We come here regularly and have been for many years. Always had great food & great service, it is one of our favorite places. This last time we came we had to walk out and go somewhere else. We sat for 30 minutes while a waitress went to tables on both sides of us. (There were probably 5 tables filled w people so not very busy yet and wait staff standing around talking to themselves ). My husband went to the hostess and ask for a waitress and was told she'd sent someone over. The waitresses stood looking over at our table and talking then left. After some more time I had decided enough waiting and gathered our things and started leaving. My husband stopped at the hostess area and told her we were not waiting any longer (close to an hour now) her reply was "Ok, sorry" and that was it!😳 We drove to Beloit to a place we had been wanting to try and had a great meal. We sent a letter and it's been 2 weeks going on 3 now and STILL NO RESPONSE. I am completely stunned w this. We've come for many years and will have to think long and hard to come back! 🤯

I will be back so you know its good. Food was very tasty, the while family loved it. I do think the shakshuka should come with another slice of toast. Everyone at the table liked their food and wants to go back. Service was good, but I did not feel the most welcome as I've felt in other places. Could have been an off day, I hope next time I can give them a 5 star review.

Came here with my friend & they said they had tried to eat here about 5 diff times & they never got in! Apparently it's best if u have a reservation🤷🏽‍♂️ Thankfully we just walked in & there was availability it was about 1pm on Friday afternoon😅 I did see at night or late day you'll always need reservation to get in. I liked the decor, there wasn't much room for seating inside & there's an outside area as well which would be nice on warmer nights. I did see smokers🚬 outside so if that's not your thing beware The food was decent & the prices were average for restaurant. Big parking lot in back & I really liked that okay area for toddlers🤗 Kinda have off hippie vibes which I thought was cool & it's a nice area for family, friends, date or even business

Great place, I just happened to be in Rockford, and found this place online, it's a very nice and comfortable atmosphere to be in, it seems to be a gathering spot for neighborhood. I had breakfast, bacon, eggs, smashed fried potatoes, toast and coffee, however all of those items are at above average fare. Great meal, thick bacon, perfect fried potatoes, bakery fresh bread, tasted like homemade jam, and a great cup of coffee.

Oops, we dug into the cake before I remembered that social media eats first... but, honestly, can you blame us? We've been here twice now for brunch, and let me tell you: the food, drinks, and service never disappoint. The mimosa flight? Chef’s kiss. The dessert? I’d fight someone for it. The main course was delicious too, but I unapologetically live for dessert and Sunday brunch mimosas, and this place delivers both like a dream. If you're looking for a spot that hits every mark, this is it.

This place is great! I went for brunch and got the quiche, coffee, and mimosa flight, and the ebleskiver for an appetizer. All of them were fantastic, unique, and delicious. I will definitely return here, one of my favorite restaurants in the area!

Made a short day trip to Rockford to check out The Norwegian. What a delight. I ordered the Sea Bord (gravlax, smoked salmon dip, and pickled herring) and the apple chai latte. So, so fantastic. Tusen takk to the team there!

Decided to visit Lydia's on a whim since the place I wanted to go for breakfast was full, and I'm so glad that fate brought me here because I think I found my new favorite place! The staff are very friendly and genuinely happy to have you here, it's a very comforting feeling. There are so many lovely choices when it comes to the menu, almost makes it hard to choose so you'll have to be back again to try something new. I had the sopes for breakfast and they were just perfect, good portions and outstanding flavors that will leave you satisfied. I can't wait to return again and try something new because no matter what it's going to be a delicious experience!

Lydia’s Café is the definition of quaint—cozy charm, friendly vibes, and a waitress so sweet I wanted to invite her to brunch with me. Service was on point—warm, welcoming, and full of small-town sparkle. I ordered the French toast with sausage patties and hash browns, and flavor-wise? Chef’s kiss. Everything was incredibly tasty—I’d order it again in a heartbeat. The only hiccup? The food arrived lukewarm at best. Not cold, but not hot either. It was more “polite room temperature” than “fresh off the griddle.” A little disappointing, considering how good it tasted. Would I go back? 100%. But next time, I’ll be hoping the food shows up dressed in something a little warmer.

Ordered large pancake, which is fluffy and flavored, maybe vanille. Also ordered Vale omelet, rye bread and hashbrowns. All three persons cleaned their plates, even one that is normally extremely picky about food.

Lydia's Cafe is a cozy little cafe inside of a small strip mall. What a find. This is honestly a cozy little diner, with great Tex-Mex and normal breakfast. I had a Portobello Gorgonzola cheese scramble with spinach and mushroom that was delicious. My husband is a little bit more health conscious, and had a butternut squash with apples and pepper scramble. I would highly recommend this place and I would come back to this place if I was in rockford. It's a great sign

Lydia's is one of our favorite breakfast spots in the area! We come here for breakfast every few weeks and the food is consistently great! Portions are large! Atmosphere seems happy & restaurant seems very clean! Staff is ALWAYS so nice & friendly! The owners always seem to be there, you can tell they genuinely care about their business, staff, and patrons! Your hard work & dedication to your restaurant shows!

We usually love Machine Shed. My parents ask to go there when they come into town. We love the home-like atmosphere, their food is delicious. It's a bang for your buck - portions are large for the price. We've only had good experiences up until Sunday. We decided to order in for the first time, as I recently had a baby. We tried ordering online but not all the menu options are there (Reuben, brisket sandwich). I already had appetizers & 4 out of 6 meals added when I came across this problem. I called the order in at 3:30pm, the lady on the phone was very nice & said the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I'm rating it 2 stars because my mom ordered a Reuben that was sent completely charred on both sides. The meat was inedible because it also tasted burnt. I couldn't believe they had the audacity to send it looking that way. Like I said, we've only had good experiences so it was surprising to see her food arrive looking like that. The rest of our food was as expected & delicious. The manager is sending a voucher for a free meal, which is nice. However, it doesn't make up for my mom not being able to eat her meal that night.

My girlfriend and I had lunch. I had the BBQ combo and she had the chicken tenders. The BBQ brisket was very good but the chicken and ribs were over cooked and dry. Stick with the brisket. The bring slaw and baked apples to the table with the bread and rolls.

Some of the best cornbread I've ever had in a restaurant by far. The food was excellent, wait staff and hostess were attentive, great, and personable. The food portions were amazing. The adds that come with dinner for free of bread rolls, coleslaw, sliced and glazed apples, and delicious cornbread was a nice surprise. The meatloaf as you can see in the picture was good portions and delicious. The onion strings were some of the best I've ever had. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. As my first time eating at a restaurant in Illinois I was very pleased and glad my friend suggested it. Three of us got to enjoy appetizers, great meals, our beverages and had to get doggy bags for $100. We ate Rib eye, chicken, and meatloaf with all the trimmings. To me the value was definetly there and the ambiance was great. The fact they also had a gift shop and fresh pies was just the perfect set up.

I don't know.what was going on, On the Sunday we went to dinner. Slow, took an hour and a half to get out. Don't get me wrong, everything was good. Love that fried chicken and pot roast sandwich.. Service was realy slow.

I'm from the south and this place definitely felt like home. Great food, friendly service, and very clean. I got the country fried chicken and it was wonderful. The chocolate ganache cake was really good and definitely enough to share with another person.

Our serve was very sweet and informative. The atmosphere reminded me of visiting a Cracker Barrel minus the rocking chairs. The food portions were plentiful but taste was not really there for me. I ordered the BBQ combo that came with fixings. Most everything tasted prepackaged or from a can. The meats that came with it (beef brisket, pork rib portion, and "grilled" chicken breast) relied completely on the bar - b - que sauce that was made with a healthy amount of liquid smoke.

A great place for any occasion. We were only out there for a couple of days but we went there every morning. I highly recommend the Machine Shed Restaurant.

This cracker barrel was overall pretty good 👍🏼! The atmosphere and service were amazing as usual. My plate of the Mommas breakfast was delicious as always. My mom ordered the steak and eggs. Her eggs were good, but the steak was a bit dry. My dad ordered the steak tips and eggs, which overall was good, but the tips were also a little on the chewy and dry side. Overall, we had a good experience and will come back to this location or another one soon.

Amazing decor and gift shop! I ordered the chocolate chip pancake plate, with over medium eggs and bacon. It came lukewarm but still edible. The pancakes have a strange texture, they are both tough and crunchy. I actually kinda liked it though haha. Bacon was tasty but very thin. The syrup comes in a cute mini bottle and is very tasty. My boyfriend’s meal was also lukewarm, and he said the meatloaf was dry. His fries and fried apples were pretty good though. Definitely not the best food ever but I enjoyed mine. Came back and got fried chicken the next time and that was hot and fresh and delicious. Maybe the deep fried items are best? However the gift shop is so cool, so you gotta come check it out at least once!

BEST CRACKER BARREL I HAVE EVER VISITED!!!!! I've been to Cracker Barrels all over the country and this one is so good that they should train all the other stores because they are amazing. I visited at 3:30pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Here are some things that really impressed me: *The young lady who seated me was incredibly kind, cheerful, attentive, and efficient. I wish I could remember her name, but she is a role model for all employees. Despite having a disability (she limped, had a problem with one hand,, etc.), she was so much more efficient than what I've experienced at both the Gurnee and Naperville stores. She truly seems to care about the customers. I noticed she also pitched in tidying up things when no clients needed seating. *My server, Kathy K, was the best one I've had at any Cracker Barrel. She treated me so kindly and I never felt rushed. She came by often enough for me to get what I needed, but not so much that she felt like a pest. She even brought a drink refill without me even asking. At Gurnee at Naperville I usually have to do all sorts of contortions to get what I need, but Kathy did such a great job that I could truly relax and enjoy my meal. *The food was extremely well prepared and came quickly. My catfish came piping hot and crispy but did not sit in a pool if grease. (At the other Cracker Barrels it usually arrives barely warm.) The mashed potatoes were an appropriate proportion and very fresh, and hot. My carrots were nicely cooked but not water logged like they tend to be at other stores. *I noticed the manager was actually helping and working/pitching in. I did get to talk to him and complemented how nice the restaurant looked and how his staff was fantastic. I really appreciated his response because he told me he has an awesome staff and will pass on my comments. He is a great leader because he's a servant leader and gives others credit. Interestingly enough, the last time I was at the Gurnee store I watched that manager just stand next to the fireplace for a full hour just watching her employees and looking like she was waiting for someone to mess up. Despite the fact that it was very busy, the Gurnee manager never once lifted a finger to help her employees. *The restaurant looks fantastic...clean, pictures straight on the walls, outside area was well kept. I love how well run this Cracker Barrel is and will be returning and telling all my friends to visit.

We both had chicken and dumplings which had plenty of chicken, and were delicious. Our sides were good, except for the cornbread, which wasn't good at all. Our server was good and very attentive. I was disappointed that I can no longer get a 1 catfish filet meal, as 2 is too much, and we were traveling so I could not take it home.

Only a short wait to be seated. Enjoyed browsing in the country store as we waited. Waitress was very attentive when we first arrived, but then took quite a while to actually come get our order. All the food was very good, especially the cinnamon roll skillet. But then we had to wait some time after finishing our meal to get a to go box and our bill.

Found this mom and pop breakfast place. Definitely good to be able to find what appears to be a family owned restaurant with extremely good food at a reasonable price too! The kids loved it. I got the Country fried chicken with two eggs, potatoes, and half a biscuit and gravy. Mine was 11.75 and on the board special. My boys both got the one egg bacon potatoes and toast with apple juice to drink. The kids meals are 5.99 with free refills. The baby had the mickey mouse Pancakes and bacon. He also had apple juice. They have booths to sit in but also had tables with chairs. It was pretty busy with a mix and diversity of people. You could tell that the food was going to be good cause of the crowds. But it wasn't so packed that there wasn't enough room for more. The place seemed fairly big and it looked like there was a private area maybe for parties. The waiter asked me when I came in if I wanted to dine in. They must have pick up orders to go.

This is a great restaurant. Me and my grandparents took me here when I was little, and we still do come here from time to time. Great family vibes. Never had a bad order or experience here. This place hold a special spot in my heart.

Just an OK diner in a strip mall. It took over 10 minutes to get our waitress over to us, which was annoying. That being said, once we got the order in, the food came out fast. The food was meh. Not a ton of flavor, and everything needed seasoning. One very positive thing about this greasy spoon: the prices were really reasonable. Almost to the point of being cheap. So, there's that. Don't tell them there's inflation...Shhh...

We stopped here for breakfast and what a treat. It's in an area that seems to be returning to life and while the establishment looks unassuming from the outside, the service and food were fantastic. We had a group of 5 and our breakfast choices were diverse. All the food looked and tasted great. Definitely worth the stop.

Ok, so we've been here several times now. It seems to be sliding down everytime we come. Soup has gotten pretty bland. My wife got the Philly steak wrap. It was slightly greasy but it was well made. I liked my chicken bacon avocado sandwich, except for the overly wet lettuce and the torn up stem filled tomato. Coffee has gotten worse too. Like it's a cheaper version and it tasted both burnt and stale. The parking is a nightmare as its on the corner and next a very busy exit.

Had been over 30 years since I ate here at the Swedish Pancake House. Different menu, staff, and all. Still good service and more various food. They do have some Mexican food especially that torta that they had for a week special ...which I wanted to try since I am fan of tortas but had opted for Texas Patty Melt because I am more in mood for some bacon.

Biscuits n gravy are definitely from a powder mix and potato pancakes made fresh are NOT Grey inside. Potatoes turn a gray color after peeled. You guys can do better considering how much you charge

This is my regular local coffee joint. Great service always, homey feel, small business versus a corporation. Their specialty flavors are okay but I will stick to my regular order, tried and true ✌🏽

Well this was forth time there again you wait, I was there 6 month ago ordered my muffins first order they got wrong order second time I ordered I was in line waiting but vehicle behind me pulled up next to back door while we are waiting while they pile things in that vehicle we waited you mentioned to someone they say probably owners so basically my order was less important than the owners stuff so basically you don’t really care about customers. This morning I went in to get a muffin standing at counter while they are arguing playfully about something I have to come inside cause a line of 5 cars and then I wait while the one does coffee orders so the drive thru was served before the people that come inside , I walked out.

First time here. Brought my laptop to work. My Americano and muffin were great and service was excellent. Was busy - popular place!

This was my daily go to place until this morning. In the drive-thru I ordered a cappuccino like I have a hundred times before, and when the girl hands me the cup it feels very light. I pull into a parking space and check it and my cup is 90% foam. Not frothed milk but straight foam, I go inside and show the girl behind the counter and she looks me dead in the eye and says that's a cappuccino. I said no it's not this is foam like soap bubbles not warm milk that has been frothed a little on top, I have a cup of 90% just foam. She offers to put more milk in it but not remake my coffee the right way. So I walked out leaving my cup that I already paid for because I didn't care to argue with this person who obviously did not want to provide the cup of coffee I paid for. Will not be going here again and do not recommend it.

Easy to find, ample parking, spacious and clean cafe with plenty of seating and friendly staff. Great selection of teas. Plenty of bakery items also. Enjoyed an americano and a vanilla almond tea while catching up on our lives with a wonderful friend from the past - such an enjoyable visit. We both highly recommend this place to others. ☕️ 🫖

First time going, honest take aways The place was packed and I had never heard of it and didn't realize it was even there so that is a good sign right? 2 people our bill was 32$ we had breakfast I got the cornbeef hash omelette with pancakes and hash browns my daughter got the butchers omelette with toast and fruit cup. Most of the food was nothing special but the pancakes were very good. Daughter said the bacon in her omelette was terribly tough and the chunks of ham were rubbery. My hash browns were very oily. The fruit cup was a hefty portion of several options which was nice. Our table was terribly rickety to the point my coffee was constantly spilling. There were fruit flies everywhere. It took terribly long for the food to come out I know it was busy but I'm just saying. Other patrons seemed to enjoy the selves and maybe I'm just a crotchety old Karen now a days, my bad. But the power went out twice. Didn't seem to phase anyone there. I however found it extraordinarily bizarre both that it happened not once but twice but also that no one seemed to address it or apologize or explain it or anything lol. Is this a common occupance? Seems strange. Staff not the friendliest either. We tried it. We won't be back but it was very busy so take that into consideration that others seemed to enjoy it. We go to lots of diners and I also work at a restaurant so maybe I'm just super biased. Overall I'd say it was nothing to write home about

I am giving 5 stars because the food looked great, the staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The only thing I can say was first the pancakes were a bit cakey which I had seen from a few other reviews. Second my food was good but I ordered a skillet which was a make your own and there were a small amount of hash browns. I ordered a skillet with bacon, sausage and mushroom with cheddar cheese. There was a very small amount of hash browns but it was good. There was an extreme amount of bacon a few mushrooms and a few sausage. I also ordered a French vanilla cappuccino which in my opinion was powdered and had not enough water but, the fresh whip cream on top was an absolute dream. My skillet had a choice of English muffin, toast or pancakes and I chose pancakes. My son just ordered a pancake combo which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes. I tried his pancakes and took mine home. They did taste like cake almost like something in the batter doesn’t make them rise when cooked. I am giving this 5 stars like I said above because it was a good breakfast and great service. There is a very large menu and very unique things to choose from.

If you don't study the menu before you get there you will be shocked. I studied online but not enough and still had a hard time. Everything on the menu looks awesome and all 3 of our meals were just that. The kitchen staff at the ready was impressive. Our waitress was friendly and attentive as well as her coworkers. Best restaurant in a while!!

The food was good. My wife is gluten-free, which they had a ton of gluten-free options. She ordered the French toast. It was just gluten-free bread. Nothing French toasty about it. I had the barbacoa skillet. That was pretty good. Nothing spectacular about it. The only jelly/jam is a mixed berry. I have a severe allergy to strawberry, so I had peanut butter instead. Coffee was good. Staff were great. Our waitress was excellent and there when we needed her. Decor needs definite updating! All in all I would like to give it another try.

My wife and I had never been here and wow, what a surprise. The menu was well put together and easy to paruse. Service and the food were outstanding. This has got to be one of the best hidden spots in Rockford. Definitely worth the trip.

Having just moved to the area I think I’ve found my breakfast place! The cinnamon roll French toast is Amazing!!! The grits for not being made in the south was really good too. Customer service was friendly and food was quick! We are definitely going back and I suggest everyone try this if you’re in the area!

Food was ok, not the greatest. Service was ok. But there were 2 employees bickering about seating and tables when I walked in. Then they sat me near 4 of the bitchest old ladies ever. Then got my food and the bill, waitress never came back to see if we needed refills or boxes had to ask a bus person for a box. Very disappointing.

I'm obsessed with this place. This was my 4th time coming here, and I have had 10/10 meals every time & always great service. This is easily my favorite brunch restaurant I have ever been to (and I have been to a loooot). As far as I can tell, you cannot go wrong ordering any of their dishes. Today I got the Bagel Olé and French Tour with a Caramel Mocha Cold Brew. Absolutely delicious with generous portions! Do yourself a favor and make Eggsclusive your next breakfast/brunch destination.

Eggs are amazing. Yes, expensive but they did have a special promo of 20% off through DoorDash. Coffee (on DoorDash) was described as Cold Brew but it was just regular coffee. This should be changed as it was confusing. Pictures are a half order, I didn't eat the whole thing at once since it was a very large portion. Disappointing hash brown, checked off Extra Crispy but they are lightly browned and mushy.

I had went threw drive threw at 7am when they opened and ordered a chicken cobo with NO JALAPEÑOS! I said it twice and had someone on the with me when I ordered. I get home and there was tons of jalapeños in my order. I called and she put the manager on the phone. She said she was the one who took the order and said I didn't hear you say that. Funny after I said it the 2nd time she said ok. So I asked her what's her name. She said we don't give out names here. That's a lie but ok. She gave me a free meal only threw drive threw..........never again! The worse breakfast i had in years! Thinking you took out all the JALAPEÑOS and you didn't + a waste of money!

At first glance I was taken back a little by the prices on the menu. When I saw the portions coming out of the kitchen I was little more at ease... until we got the bill. With tax and tip $86 for breakfast for 4, well actually 3, as two of our party split a breakfast. The food was good, probably top 20% of breakfast spots in the area. The Service was marginal at best. And the atmosphere is what you might expect from a family style brunch spot. The issue I have and what might keep me from coming back is how they nickel and dime you. $2 fee to split a meal, $5 to add less than a serving of chicken to an omelette, and $4 for a fruit cup instead of hash browns. Just like that a $17 omelette becomes $28. Nothing on the menu is worth $28 for breakfast. Every little change to an order becomes a fee. $1 to change toast type. $6 for a glass of orange juice and $4 for a cup of black coffee. I firmly believe a nice meal out is worth the money. $86 for 3 meals is steep. I would expect the entire level of dining to bump up at that price point. Carry out was busy this Sunday morning, hopefully they don't upcharge carry out meals.

I had such a great experience at breakfast thanks to our waitress, Gabby! She was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her friendly personality and excellent service really stood out and made the meal so much more enjoyable. Gabby went above and beyond, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend asking for her if you stop in!

Took my friend out for Father's Day- he had the biscuits and gravy and I had pancakes with eggs and ham. Huge portions, swift service, and the owner/chef asked us after the meal was over how everything was. The breakfast was simple but perfect, you couldn't make it better. I was surprised to see how clean and bright the interior was- you can tell this place gets a deep clean several times a week. Will be a repeat customer!

This place was amazing. As soon as we stepped in the door we were greeted by the chef and then seated. This is a very family friendly place. Extremely clean, well mannered and highly efficient service. A great place with very well done meals. The taste is reminiscent of a well cooked family meal in the kitchen. We will be eating here until we can't.

We love this place! Their food is reasonably priced and the staff is VERY friendly. Especially the cook, he greets everyone and asks everyone how their meal was. It's a small diner that only takes cash so be ready for that. The biscuits and gravy are to die for! The actual best.

So-I stumbled across the Potato Shak while driving somewhat “lost” without my GPS, which is fine because it’s still the best way to “feel” your way around (as long as you have decent sense of direction and a compass) 😂 I could tell from the look of it that it had a vintage vibe to it and after collecting the family later in the day-we returned to find an awesome old-school diner chock-full of folks from our finest generation! The staff of the Shak were friendly and the food was great! The prices were even better as it looked like the menus haven’t changed in decades!!! We can only ask that more old-town places like this stay active for years to come! We WILL Be back!

The given menus were so dirty I never ordered any food. They weren't just sticky they were also dirty like I've never seen before. The waitress seemed to agree and gave my son his coffee at no charge. We did buy a bag of coffee last time but Id never eat there. ETA My son visited again recently so I had to change the star rating it probably deserves. Sorry to say the owner never addressed it on the most popular critiques available. Maybe there's a lack of leadership there.

We stopped for brunch with my wife’s parents and had a great time. The atmosphere is welcoming. I really appreciate all the natural light and the nice view of State Street. The coffee was excellent and the service was quick which made it all the more pleasant. Our server, Olivia, was an absolute delight! Friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. I ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Tacos with sweet potato fries, and my wife had the Shrimp Tacos with mac and cheese. Everything was good, but the shrimp tacos really stood out as the best part of the meal. Overall, a wonderful brunch spot with great food, warm service, and a relaxing atmosphere. this place is gone downhill and not same as it was five or six years ago. went for an evening meal, and many of the lights were out in the restaurant, and most of the booths had torn upholstery. only two other parties and the restaurant when we were there and it took forever to get our food and the orders were not correct.I have serious doubts. If what I was served was supposed to be a cauliflower crust pizza— I am sure it had the taste and texture of a regular pizza crust. Other options in rockford for a good meal and service besides this place.

We dined in on a Sunday for lunch. It was busy and the service was slow. We’re used to waiting for a table and for our meals on busy weekends but the thing that made this experience less than desirable is that no one came by to give us any updates on how much longer or offering a coffee refill. Food was good but the service was too slow and there was no effort to make any service recovery. We’ll give it another try on a weekday but no more Sundays for us.

Food is always great. Fresh and delicious. Service has always been suspect. Received my soup after my sandwich. No utensils or napkins until asked. Always slow. And was freezing inside. Management seems very lax when it comes to training and comfort.

This place is NOTHING like it was when John Suh first opened it. The bakery was in the building behind it, this was originally uncle John’s and then he named it aunt Mary’s. It was open late and offered some of the best food and prices. Now? Just a remnant of what once was. Tom Suh managed this place like a dream back in the day. Coffee now tastes burnt, food is dry and tasteless. No longer had decent hours.

Waited 20 minutes for our items only to receive a bag with three bagels tossed inside and containers of open Philadelphia cream cheese. I’ve been waiting in line for 25 minutes and no one coming to the window and drive-through. I’m stuck. I cannot go front or back. I have my kids with me in the car that’s not fair. I need someone to reach out back and let me know why did this happen? What was the reason For us to wait that long for grilled cheese and the person in front of me only needed a soup and a drink.

Very disappointed. I ordered a soup bread bowl. I got home and there was no soup in the bowl! By the time I got home the location was closed and I could not return it / ask for a refund. Last time I was here they forgot my baguette. 1 star.

I actually love Panera Bread — their coffee, bakery, and overall variety are amazing, and I usually enjoy buying from them. But during my visit here today, I had a really disappointing experience. When I politely asked if they will heat my order, the staff member kept saying “please, please” in a frustrated tone, which felt like she was attacking me for simply asking. I stayed calm and even said “please, if possible” with a smile, but the reaction was unnecessarily rude. It was surprising and upsetting, especially since I really like it’s here! and as a tourist, it was clear I was just trying to understand!!

I heard Denny's was going out of business and I can see why. We have been coming to Denny's for years! We came here for my twins birthday. It says online that you are supposed to get a build your own grand slam any way you want it free for your birthday. But when I spoke with the lady who seated us after we were trying to explain the situation to the waitress. She said she would get the manger who was also the one to seat us. I was trying to pull it up. She was dismissive. She kept repeating for children. When online it never said adults or excludeds children. It specified with a paid entrie. I had the boys birth certificates in hand if they needed to see. They said that they don't take ID to verify. So round and round we go she said she wouldn't honor it. So we left to go somewhere else. This is false advertisement, plain and simple. I wouldn't waste your time going here.

Yuck, just yuck. I dined with 2 other people our total was over $54 but less than. I thought I give this place a try since my child acts like when we leave the house we must get something out to eat, and they did remodel. I have eaten at Colden Corral a total of three times but thought I remember the food tasting better. I cannot believe Bishop’s no longer exist but this place that serves up bland vegetables and salty meat still does. The food taste like it was just thrown together.

Our first visit since they reopened was in July, a party of 7 for a late dinner. The restaurant was still busy at 7 pm, but we were able to find seats and the staff kept the wide variety of choices fresh and well stocked. The servers were very friendly and helpful. As a wheelchair user it was easy to maneuver around and serve myself from the multitude of choices independently. The bathrooms were not clean on our first visit. A customer had voided on the floor in the handicap stall. That was a put off. On our second visit the bathroom was clean and well stocked and the service and the food were especially good. We noticed the offerings of food change. They had a unique muffin on our first visit and on our second visit it wasn't available but they had other items instead. No one will leave there hungry.

Haven't been in a Golden Corral for years. Decided to give it a shot after our other plans fell through. Service was very friendly and food was actually quite good for a buffet. Steak was a little tough but had good flavor. Everything we tried was hot and pretty fresh. Id eat there again.

They did a good job on the remodeling, but its still a buffet. Way over priced, seems like less is out and you're getting your own drinks now, so depending on your ability to do that, could be a benefit.

Management can do a better job with communicating with customers and staff. Gloves need to be changed more often by staff. I saw a young lady who prepared the omelets pull her phone out of her pocket, scroll through her phone put it back in her pocket and then wipe her nose with her gloves on and went on to open cheese and never changed her gloves. This is unsanitary and downright nasty!! This location needs to do better.

They have food for everyone, every diet. I really appreciated a full salad bar, whereas my hubby loves the meats and dessert sections. He likes steak and potatoes, I like fish and salad. You've made us both happy. We go away very satisfied each time! The only draw back was trying to find milk. I guess the world is geared at the sparkling drinks and sodas.

My experience has been weird , fried chicken been salty all three times I've been there since it reopened. My grandma went with us the last two times along with our kids. Last time my grandma and my oldest vomited all through the night. We chalked it up to be the flu or something going around. But they did it again last night after going. It appears clean. But unfortunately with them not doing well both times I don't think we'll be going back. Life is weird

I don’t know if I’m cursed, but every single time I dare order from CFA, my order is wrong. It’s beyond annoying and has stopped me from ordering from here plenty of times. I only eat here because my husband loves it. The food is mid annd expensive at best that’s IF they manage to get your order right, which is almost never the case. My husband was sweet enough to go back up there and make them fix it, so they gave me the smallest piece possible, lol.

Last 4 or 5 times we've tried this place they forget at least one thing from our rorder everytime... and the quality of the food is just nasty.. cold chicken, food that feels lukewarm or half cooked, and soggy nasty hashbrowns so coated in oil you cant touch a single one without seeing a thick wet layer of oil on your fingers...yum.. id rate zero if I could for that alone - even mcdonalds dont hand out hashbrowns this soggy and wet.

Just had to pop by on our way back to the airport. Kind of a tradition. I had the Mexican Tres Leches pancakes combo that came with the egg, bacon and potatoes. Accompanied with English Tea. The only let down was the 'flask' of "hot water" It was luke warm and not nice at all. Other than that the food was delicious and filled me up for the journey ahead!

Their promotion is KIDS EAT FOR FREE 4-10pm…so tell me why my 2 kids ordered from the kids menu that THEY gave to them…yet I was charged for 2 adult meals for my kids meals?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!! The waitress said that my kids didn’t say it correctly so she charged us for 3 adult meals when it should’ve been ONE ADULT MEAL. The audacity! Highly recommend DENNY’S instead of IHop.

I picked up an order to go. The place was completely empty. After I walked in, the door bell sounded and no one came. I waited a few minutes, nothing. Went back to the door and made it ring three more times still nothing. No one was in the waiting area, no one was in the kitchen. There were cars parked on the side of the building but no workers to be seen. I then proceeded to say "Hello." In a not so quiet voice and after a bit finally two employees appeared. One was the cook and the other was what I'm assuming to be the waitress. They came from somewhere in the back. Told them I was picking up an order and then I received the food not long after that. But come on, I deliver food and they wasted my time waiting for them to not even acknowledge anyone coming in at all. I would look into that because even if the restaurant was dead, there were tables that weren't attended to. Food and dishes not cleaned up from those tables, so there was plenty to do. They need to step it up.

So we came here after just seeing the new Wonka movie as we heard they had Wonka themed food items. So after we got sat and the drink order was brought to us our server (who just got on) asked if we had placed our order yet and we said no so then he said he would be right back to get it. He took the table next to us' order. And then he disappeared for over 25 mins before my man went out to have a smoke and saw him sitting in a booth on his phone on the other side of the store. Needless to say I approached the workers by where the food comes up and told them the situation and then boom...he finally showed up! Wow what a surprise. 🤦 All I can say is the food was average/good and it was the one redeeming quality for the whole experience. The outside garbages were overflowing and the inside wasn't that clean either. We were given a menu with old dried whipped cream all over it right from the start. Needless to say I haven't come here in years and don't expect to come back for another veryyyy long time. Oh and the table next to us left while we just got our food brought out. No one even came to clean it after 20 mins. Kinda crazy how they don't care how clean stuff is here.

The service was extremely slow. I asked for American fries with onions and green peppers and was assured by the waitress that the kitchen could do this----However, I received crunchy potatoes with onions and green peppers randomly thrown on top. They obviously didn't understand what I meant. Now I know the waitress didn't understand English. I am writing this review because this is the third time something has happened when we have tried to eat there. The first two times there were issues with poaching the eggs for my egg benedict ( so I don't order those anymore)! I thought it might have been employee turnover or inexperience but now I think there is a language barrier and they just don't care. The manager came over to try to solve the issue but it couldn't be solved. My breakfast was ruined yet again!! Do not go to a restaurant that will not provide you with the service you deserve. These people are clueless about customer service!!

Me and my family (5 people) came here in the morning to have a nice breakfast but got the opposite. When we got there we didn’t take long to get a table which was good. When we sit down we got assisted about 5 minutes after we sat down and the waiter was nice. When we placed out order we took almost an hour waiting (not exaggerating.) After I ate, I got food poisoning! Do better IHop!

The restaurant was very clean. Being I am a severe allergy I tried the gluten free pancakes have to say they're pretty good. The waitress was nice. Not much of a smile or personality. Food was hot. The splash drink is not good. Not worth 2.99.

The worst iced brown sugar oat milk shaken Espresso I have ever had. I drink these daily at various locations across 4 states and they literally always taste the same. This one tastes awful. Way way too much cinnamon and not enough oat milk. I can barely taste the brown sugar syrup at all. Such a waste of my time and money. Will not be back to this location.

As someone that has spent over a two decades working in the industry, it is really really embarrassing to listen to not only the shift supervisors but the manager as well not know rudimentary elements of their espresso machines. The employees were delightful, and my drink actually tasted correct, which isn't often nowadays. This is my go-to, I have stopped several times a week for 2 years. Always fast, friendly service at this location and drinks are always made correctly! Have never had a bad experience and that is very impressive!

Dirtiest Starbucks I've ever seen. Totally disgusting, dust and soil filled floor, Spilled liquids that have been on the floor so long that they dried. Serving counter absolutely horrendous. Just see my photos. It smelled sour when I walked in. Not like a Starbucks at all. I'm a big fan so this hurt my heart. I'm going to try to find a way to share these photos with corporate and get this Starbucks in line.

The pictures don't do it justice, but the bathroom was disgusting. Open bottle of soap to pour on your hands, dispenser didn't work, toilet paper and paper towels everywhere on the floor and on top of garbage can. Quietly told the guy that rang me up and he just smiled and said "Ok, thanks". No surprise, no apology. Don't think they care... Drink was fast and good at least.

I ordered for curbside pick up. I waited 22 minutes for my order. Not sure why. The drive thru lane never got long, the parking lot wasn't full. I understand that at times staffing might be an issue, but 22 minutes for cheeseburgers and fries is a bit long. We went for breakfast and they didn't have fountain drinks. The only beverages they offer are up-charged cosmic drinks, frappes, coffees, even when a drink is included with meals. They would not compensate or void the extra $3 for the drinks due to their lack of inventory/machine so we left.

Every time I come here the lady at the window messes up my order, which confuses the kitchen and I end up with the wrong food. Doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner — the service is always terrible. The fries are never right either — they’re burnt, stale, or so hard they actually chipped my son’s tooth. Tried calling to fix my order and they just send you to voicemail. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. This place shouldn’t even be open.

They supervisor was so rude to a young lady in front of me. The girl had called to see if she could pay for a cup of breakfast sauce. She was told she could, later verified by the cashier. The young lady in front of me was always poliet while speaking to the supervisor. The supervisor (I believe her name was Claudia maybe) told her to leave the store and would not even sell her a soda. I felt very bad for the girl. I hope someone cleans up the management in this store. That is a terrible way to treat a customer.

We had been traveling from Chicago back to Wisconsin. Google says this place was open 24-hrs. So we pull off to get some food. Lights were on but there was no one there. They should really change their hours of operation if they are not 24-hrs. Kinda sad we made that detour to not even get a snack.

What a nice surprise!! Home-cooking style at it's best. Perfect beer-battered catfish with mashed potatos, peas and amazing Creamed Reuben Soup!

First off the service was great! Olyvia was awesome. Made sure I was taken care of. The skillet was ok. Nothing to write home about. The steak was meh no flavor eggs were cooked the way I like it. Before I state this I know and understand prices have gone up but Woa! With tip it was $31 dollars for breakfast???? Man it was just me and I got a skillet and OJ. I guess I am shocked cause I went to a steak place and paid the same for the meal.

I have been driving past Alpine View Restaurant for years always thinking to myself, "I should stop in there" but never had. Finally, I did stop and this has become my new favorite go to spot. I love breakfast food, and their breakfast all day policy is on point. The staff is incredibly helpful and never leave you hanging. They hit a perfect balance of checking and also letting you enjoy your meal / conversation / peace. They never let your coffee cup empty. The quality and amount of food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and delicious and I usually always have leftovers to bring home. My standard diner order of a veggie omelet with cheddar cheese and extra crispy hashbrowns are PERFECT from here. Prices are fair considering quality and quantity. The atmosphere is on point as well, its a mix of all ages and everyone seems to know each other. This place feels like home and my and my girlfriend tend to go 2 times a week now. Don't sleep on Alpine View, you should definitely check it out.

My family loves coming here for breakfast. Everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. It's a bit pricey but not unreasonable considering that everything is really good. Would recommend.

Went for brunch on Sunday and the food was over cooked and overall not to the level we have come to expect there. The server, manager, and owner were very accommodating though and apologized and gave us a 20 dollar gift card to use upon return. Hoping it was a one off and not forshadowing for things to come.

It was crowded but we got seated right away. Nice atmosphere. I ordered the pumpkin 🎃 pancakes and something was wrong with the batter. It was bad. I can't believe they gave them to me looking the way they did. Very bad. The spinach and feta omelet was okay. Fruit was great! Our waitress gave me a new stack of pumpkin pancakes and those were better.

Sunday Oct 1, 2023. Breakfast with mom. We were immediately seated. Our waitress brought menus, water and coffee ☕️ within 1 minute. Took our order within 5 minutes. Food just as ordered arrived in 5 minutes. My coffee was refilled 4 times before my cup was empty. The huge portions of food were hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend. 👍👍👍👍👍

My husband and I love going to Megs Daily Grind for their lattes of the week! They always have such fun ideas and they're always SO good too! 😍 The staff are always so sweet when we go too, which is always a huge plus when finding a great coffee spot! I do wish they had more food options, but if you want a great pastry, they do have some great options for those! 🙂

We went through the drive thru while we were in town (this is my grandma's favorite place to get coffee) and it did not disappoint. Coffee was delicious, the service was fast, and the staff was super nice. Also, less expensive than Starbucks. Try their flavor of the day for lattes.

What’s up with their matcha? It was literally white. I was expecting good quality matcha but they gave me a cup of milk with sugar. I only drank it cause I didn’t want to waste it made my stomach afterward.

I’ve visited a few times. Their customer service is usually great I will say, but I’ve been disappointed in the drinks. Today I purchased a matcha latte and there was zero green color, it was completely milk colored with an intense sweetness from the syrup. There was also no sediment from the matcha, maybe they forgot it? I feel like I paid almost $7 for a cup of flavored milk…

Meg's on Perryville is definitely the best location of the 3. Absolutely love the morning crew there. They are always so cheerful and make my mornings great.

I absolutely love this place! My favorite drinks are the White Zombie and Stu's Macchiato, and I also love to try their lattes of the week; they always have fun and unique flavors! Such a great place to sit and have a coffee with a friend or study. Overall, great staff and a great place! Edit: Their muffins are some of the best muffins ever, especially the Cranberry Orange muffins!

What a gem of a cafe! Came here on a whim during my lunch break with my husband, and we've definitely found a new favourite place. The food was light, fresh and delicious, coffee was excellent. I appreciate the choice for fresh veggies as a side! The atmosphere is so comfortable and welcoming, and we had several staff come to say hello! We'll be back for sure. :)

My absolutely favorite coffee shop! My husband and I were visiting Rockford and love to find local coffee shops when we travel. The coffee was delicious! It was very smooth and didn’t have that burnt taste I get with other coffee. Their food is really good. They have great selections and the food was fresh. I felt like I was at a restaurant. My husband and I both got the breakfast bowl with eggs, sausage, onions, peppers, and cheese. It was so good and great portions. The customer service was great. The staff is very friendly and ensures you feel welcomed and get everything you need. The place is very cozy. I love the atmosphere! Highly recommend!

It’s vibey here! The staff are always so gracious and so good at multitasking - engaging with customers in between food runs and during drinking-making on the espresso bar. Unlike big or corporate cafes, the employees at wired don’t seem so understaffed and stressed. I love supporting a local cafe. This is the quiet (enough), charming, hometown cafe that Starbucks is aiming for with their overpriced cafe experiences. I’ll pick Wired 10 times out of 10!

I don't usually do reviews, but the homemade biscuits and gravy were hands down the best I've had. Service was not overbearing but was attentive and you could tell that the server cared and enjoyed his job, and he was very charismatic.the barista was sweet and made me feel comfortable even with how full the place was( I get a bit of social anxiety). The seating is set up where there's one or two solo tables for introverts and some bigger tables that help you engage with the other patrons. Coffee was perfect. It felt like a community when I went in that I would want to be a part of. Will 100% be coming back again with friends.

Wired has great food and a lovely staff. I like coming here because of their healthy lunch options, but I can’t stop in as often as I’d like because it does add up. I like everything I’ve tried and plan to order more of the menu because everything sounds good. Their baked goods are deliciously dangerous! I think their hours are 7am - 1:30pm during the week and they aren’t open on the weekends, but I really wish they were!

For Christmas I bought a $25 gift card from Wired for a friend who loved it. Today I stopped in for a large hot caramel macchiato which was better than Starbucks. Haven’t tried their breakfast muffins, scones, cookies and carrot cake but they all looked wonderful. 👍👍👍👍👍

Racist, Unprofessional, and a Health Hazard - Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) This is the most unprofessional and frankly, racist establishment I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My experience here was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First, they failed to include all of the food I paid for in my order and second we found facial hair in our food. When I called to resolve it, they promised me a credit for the unsanitary food they served us.Simple, right? Wrong. To my utter disbelief, when my wife went to the restaurant to use the promised credit, the manager gave her a completely different story, refusing to honor their own word. It was clear from the interaction that she was being treated differently and dismissively. Frustrated, I called back and spoke directly to the owner, expecting a resolution. Instead, I was met with sheer rudeness. He was belligerent, unapologetic, and when I pressed him on the issue, his final solution was to threaten to block my number rather than address his restaurant's failure. The pattern is undeniable and appalling: they make a mistake, they lie to correct it, and when you hold them accountable, they resort to hostility and threats. The difference in treatment between my initial call and my wife's in-person visit, followed by the owner's aggressive response, points to a deeply rooted culture of discrimination and unprofessionalism. I am now left with no choice but to take serious action. I will be filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau for the fraudulent refund and with the Health Department because any restaurant this dishonest and poorly managed likely has issues in the kitchen they don't want the public to see. Do not waste your time or money here. This ownership is toxic, and they have absolutely no regard for their customers or basic business ethics.

Mouse Sighting and Hostile Owner - UNSAFE Do not eat here. During my meal, I saw a mouse scurrying on the floor in the dining area. This is an immediate health hazard and indicates a serious pest control problem. When I brought this alarming issue to the owner's attention, I was met with a dismissive and hostile attitude instead of concern or an apology. His priority was clearly not customer safety or satisfaction. A restaurant with vermin and an owner who doesn't care is a recipe for disaster. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place and spend their money elsewhere where health and basic respect are a priority.

Hostess seated us right away. After being seated for almost 15 minutes, and having other tables around us get their orders taken, our waitress finally figured out that we were in her section. Food was mediocre at best.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I dined in at this restaurant today and a few hours after leaving, I became severely ill with what I can only conclude is food poisoning Im vomiting, severe stomach cramps. This hit me hard and there is no other possible cause, as this was the only thing I ate.I am filing a report with the Winnebago County Health Department immediately. Went on a Monday night haven’t been there for quite a while. Made a special trip to eat there stayed at different hotel very disappointing with the wine quality ordered two different meals and oh I’m sorry were out of that, I’ve been in hotel and food industry and it’s unacceptable ordered pizza with one our meals it was cold the waitress tried her best what she had to work with even though she forgot a couple things I guess needless to say I doubt we’ll be back I know it’s hard to get good help from management to the bottom what’s our world coming to?thanks to the Democratic Party for not having to care about anything but ourselves

Wow... went here since everything else was closed on a Sunday night. I’m thrilled with the restaurant. A gem hidden in the radisson. Handmade noodles in the veg lasagna? Yes please! Guacamole was amazing. The chef is very humble even though he’s a rockstar. The service was impeccable and thoughtful. They split our salad for us into two plates and were very prompt at taking away dirty dishes and thoughtful and proactive on needs for extra plates / silverware. Def making this a go to spot next time I’m here.

Went here for a drink (long island) and the tender had no clue how to make it. After flipping through several cards and watching her stall about how "I want it to taste right" I said I'll have a screwdriver. She then upsells this drink like its going to be something amazing when all it was was a glass of orange juice with maybe a half a shot of bottom shelf vodka. About spit my drink out when she charged $7 for a glass of juice. I drank it and left. Couldn't even tell I had a drink. I will not go back no matter how good the reviews say the food is.

Horrible service, I was not asked what she could get me, drink or food. I had to initiate the interaction and the bar tender was very rude when I asked for a menu. She said I had 10 minutes and she was obviously just trying to get out of serving another customer. When I called her on it by saying, “it seems like you’re just trying to get out of here.” Which she replied “yup.” It was 9:10 and the hours state they don’t close until 9:30. I had 20 minutes btw. I’ll have Steak ‘n Shake over being treated poorly.

Conveniently located near several hotels, we came looking for lots of different beers and some bar food. Instead, we found a short list of drafts and some really yummy sandwich fare (and burgers). The BLT w/avocado is really great, the fries and kettle chips are crispy and salty, and they have a full bar. Cozy ambiance. Would eat here again.

HearthRockCafe located in Benson Stone Company is a fun place to grab breakfast or lunch. Great atmosphere, very good food and excellent service. The coffee and lattes are tasty and the extra bakery pasteries are lovely. They also add unique weekly dishes, sweets and drinks. We enjoy coming often.

We stopped last week to visit Benson Stone and found the cafe. We decided to stop and have a bite before our shopping. What a good choice! Wonderful food and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We have lived here for 3 years now, and we are just now finding this quaint little restaurant. I had the breakfast plate, and my husband had the breakfast burrito. They were both delicious. We can't wait to go back for lunch. My expresso coffee was my treat for the day, and it was one I did not regret getting!

Cozy spot to have a good meal while dreaming about decorating your home! Though they offer take-out as well, which is what we did this time for Rockford's restaurant week. We tried the Cuban and the ribs quesadilla. I loved the smoky flavor of the meat in the 'dilla and would give it a thumbs up. Friendly service as well!

Food was really good, portions were fine but the price was surprisingly high. I would recommend the baked goods though!

It was my first time in a dinner and I loved the experience. It was the feeling of being in a movie. Loved it. The food was good and the portions were huge, very reasonable prices and great atmosphere. The service also very good. As I was in a group, there were very different dishes on the table and all good choices, mine was the “piccata chicken” chosen from chefs suggestion menu of the day. Interesting to see that type of chair on wheels.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. You walk in and it has a smell of being smoked in for 20 years. The food was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! There were 5 in our party, 2 did not eat any of their food, one ate 2 strips of bacon, one ate half of a pancake, and one in our party immediately vomited after eating. That should say something. (Don’t worry I’ve included a picture) The diet cokes tasted like plastic. The water tasted like it was from a toilet, the waitress brought our round of sodas with her FINGERS IN THE CUPS! The sausage links were raw, the sausage patty was the size of a burger patty(also raw). The gravy tasted like it was made from Flour expired 5 years ago. The “condiments” on the table were expired by a month plus. NOT TO MENTION THE BILL WAS $70 for horrible food. I would never recommend coming here to anyone. I will never return

First time here. At first was not impressed that customers walking in got drinks before we were ever asked if we wanted anything. BLT was ordered on buttered toast no mayo and it came out with globs of margarine on it sent it back to cook bacon longer. Worst sandwich.

Dined in. I hadn’t been in for a few years (great back then!). In my previous experience it was a great place for breakfast/brunch. Took my sister for lunch. Not beaming like it used to be. Great customer service but the poor restaurant has lost business and it’s evident by so many empty tables. The economy is definitely hitting them hard. (I later found my toast had mold in the corner) It used to be a great place for breakfast.

Very pleasant experience, although I am bumping it down a star because it took a little longer to get our food after ordering it. Came to this McDonalds on January 20th. Ordered food on the kiosk and ended up being smoothly done. After we got to our seating, it took 15 minutes to get out food. Normally takes 7-10. Got our food and it looked great, and overall a good experience. (And yes, it has a playplace that looks good!)

Absolutely horrible!!! I don’t know how they’re charging so much money for food that is this disgusting… Also, this location always seems to not give you everything that you ordered.. I bought my son the new dragon meal for the movie and the slushy was watery,the sandwich made wrong and the mozzarella sticks stale. I totally understand if you're out of something But to just sell You uncarbonated stale pop, watery slushies and stale fries is not appetizing. I also went there 2 hours before closing So I am assuming they were maybe cleaning up and shut the fryers down early.

In drive thru, It took the lady five minutes to Even take my order at the speaker in the drive-through. Then she is from a different country. I’m not sure where but she could not understand anything when I was trying to tell her that I placed an order online then we got to the window and she handed my order to me it was wrong. She kept arguing with me. I showed her the receipt and told her to look in the bag when she finally got me the correct thing of one item, The other item was wrong. I ordered halfsies on the fries and onion rings and got just onion rings, but I was so disappointed that I just left with what she gave me. I will never go back there again!!! It always takes super Long to place an order in the drive-through there they always say just a minute and it takes a long time.

The driver thru worker was kind and he worked quickly and took care of me. I ordered the bacon king burger and I had 2 strips of bacon. What and absolute waste of $9!!!! I attempted to call 5+ times and nobody answered. My fries were fresh and warm but the mozz sticks are just meh. This place looks like it is closed because they hardly had any lights on. Ordered on the app showed up and they had just started on my food, asked me if I was a doordasher like 3 times, wasn't even busy, no one in the lobby like one car in the drivethru When I finally got my food the burgers were waaaaay over sauced, they only filled my fries halfway, skimped me, and gave me what must've been day old onion rings and put fries under em to make it seem like it was a full thing of onion rings when there were actually only like 3 stale disgusting onion rings. I don't expect much from fast food but dang. Don't go to this one go to the one by the mall it's way better.

They are always late even when I order 10-20 min in advance. I have done multiple surveys. It is a waste of your time. The validation code is more expensive than the online coupons. This place continues to be a joke. Old Review: DON'T PAY A KING'S RANSOM! Their quality of food is dishonorable and has been this way for well over a decade. The burgers are not even broiled anymore,they are microwaved,they are always under a heat lamp,the produce is always spoiled and the bread is always crushed. I don't even bother with this forgotten franchise anymore. How the mighty have fallen. It would be a crime and punishment to serve this to anyone much less the homeless.

Took care of the drive-thru three people before we even got somebody to take our order food was less than okay.... There was pop spelled all over the floor in front of the drink machines and somebody just dropped a caution sign there nobody ever cleaned it up the entire time we were there I don't recommend this place at all

So I sent my husband to get food today. We ordered 2 doubles and an iced coffee. Coffee was great. Anyways, my husband gets back home and I find there’s white hair clumped in one of the doubles. Now my husband has already left for work and so there’s no way of coming back to the store. I call the store and a woman answers, I’m assuming a manager. I explain what happened and ask if I could get a remake since I couldn’t eat it. She told me I have to come in on her shift and show her the hair. I said ma’am I can’t do that as I have no way of coming back and I’ve already now tossed the double. Now we go there all the time so I have no reason to lie about this. Usually they do an amazing job. I just wanted what I paid for. She was extremely rude and told me she was too busy for her to “deal with this” and to call back in 30min. To which I did. Go figure she’s gone now. Now this guy Anthony answers. Total sweetheart of a guy. I explained what happened and he agreed that it wasn’t right and not only agreed to remake the double, but the other one as well for the inconvenience. Going back later tonight to pick it up. He was super helpful and I really appreciated him taking the time to address the situation. I’ve worked for McDonalds in the past so I know the go around. Her telling me to come during her shift and bring the double is false. They take your name and date on a paper in a folder and you come back when you can. I shouldn’t have had to deal with her attitude and not believing me. Luckily, Anthony handled everything she wouldn’t. Excellent customer service on his end (that guy honestly deserves a raise) and will still come back in the future. Hopefully this doesn’t happen again.

I’ve been to this McDonald’s frequently as it is very close to my house. Tonight we pulled up and sat for over 5 minutes before anyone came to the speaker. To then be told they were already switching to breakfast and could not take our order for about 30 or so minutes. This is not the first incident at this McDonalds. Previously we’ve sat and not had our order taken even tho other cars had theirs taken and then to be told no other orders could be taken at this time and it was in the middle of the day. We’ve also ran into issues here with there only being a manager running everything and no one helping her. Update: We waited until 410am (when we originally pulled up around 340am) and were still told that it would be another few minutes, possibly 5 before they’d be ready to take any orders. Around 420 we gave it one last shot and while sitting at the speaker, there was no answer for about 5 additional minutes when we finally got to order. After receiving the food, I was not given any condiments to go with my big breakfast with hotcakes.

The women’s bathroom was absolutely disgusting, it smelled like human waste, there was a VERY used feminine product squished into the floor, used toilet paper all over the floor, garbage cans flipped on their sides. None of the doors locked/shut all the way, literally had to do my business with my foot holding the door shut, and there was blood all over the sink… horrible, will never come here again

I’m really confused why the manager Scott 8/23/25 was rude and profiling me. I was trying to make a purchase that cost $5.79 and I had $5 dollars on one card and like $3 something on another so I was dealing with the cashier whom was very nice and truly patient had to go retrieve Scott cause he didn’t know how to process a split payment and obviously Scot didn’t either or McDonalds need a update so I get notifications to my phone and it kept saying they was trying to process 5.79 after I said only 5 on this card Scott proceed to show body language like he was irritated and then began to say it’s your card you don’t have enough and I proceeded to say Scott that’s because I said $5 on this card and the rest on another he proceeded to say well I don’t know what to tell your bank won’t let the transaction go through and anyone that knows chime you know how it works and I’m like no Sir it’s not working because you keep processing 5.79 when I said only five on this card then he proceeded to tell the cashier if it don’t go through she gotta leave rude and I said no worries leave and contact the district manager then pulled off. Now I’ve worked in customer service for years and one things you don’t imply is that a customer doesn’t have it directly but he was very rude and if he can’t work a cash register then how is he even a manager if he’s training hopes it’s not in verbal communication. I went to Taco Bell afterwards didn’t have a problem.

Bathroom was dirty and not cleaned. Lobby was hot like the air isn’t on and it was 85° We waited 20 minutes for me to go up to the counter and our order was erased. As the manager handed us the wrong food she told me that “I don’t remember your drinks, but here’s your cups!” So many flies are flying around I can’t imagine how many are flying in the kitchen. I’ve never been at an establishment that I had flies landing on me while I’m eating.

Lazy and incompetent!!! Ordered via kiosk. Receipt never came out. Told staff (whom two were playing on their phones) and they simply told me my order number and ignored us, and never replaced the receipt paper in the kiosk. Then, they forgot our bbq sauce we ordered.

Pretty sure the lady at the drive through stole my card information. She dropped my card on a accident. Took her a good sec to get my card off the ground to use it for the order. I've only used my card at this place today after work to get food. Then 2 hours later my card is charged 182$ dollars for insta cart. Manager thought I was crazy when I called. I've used my card in all kinds of places and never had a issue before like this.

Food was mediocre at best, service was crap. Fries were not even hot. Burgers are tiny with hardly any toppings, also thrown together haphazardly. Quite disappointed. What ever happened to quick easy cheap fast food with friendly customer service?

This Burger King is decent. The gentleman who took our order was fine and they made our order correctly. The condiment area was a bit messy and we had to ask for ketchup packets instead of the ketchup pump working.

Tasty fast and delicious. Burger King never disappoints. The store is very clean and is conveniently located and actually has plenty of parking. There is a small play area for little kids. It is big and open, and it wasn’t busy at all. Five star!

Haven't been to a Burger King in a very long time but will definitely be back to this one. Staff was very friendly, the food was just delicious, the play area was super fun and the whole place was clean and inviting. Grandson loved the mozzarella sticks!

I was greeted with a smile and everyone was extremely polite. My order was correct and warm. They even pay attention to the little details, like folding the bag over and asking if I needed ketchup. Great place for a quick meal!!

Updated interior, nice and tidy, friendly staff. Got charged for a children's cup for fountain water which seems like a weird policy. Food was hot. They have a children's play area that I feel is difficult for smaller children to navigate safely.

The Outside is beautiful and This one has a Play Place Nostolgia City!! Then as soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and the lady that took out order was amazing!! The place was nice and clean the Service was Fast and Excellent Food was Great!!! Happy we choose this location!!

Dear McDonalds Management in 11th St, I came to drive thru around 11:10pm and was told that they are only accepting drink orders. I typically try to avoid coming here at night because whoever the night shift team is, you can tell that they don’t want to work. They will take up to an hour just to give you a cup of coffee or to give you a meal. I only see actual food and actual great service during the day.. McDonald’s management please fix this issue. Take care of your customers that want a meal and also wants service.

First time dining at this location and my last time ever eating here! Food was the worst I've had, order was wrong, and tables and bathroom completely filthy. I heard a customer ask for cleaning supplies to clean the table. Digusting!!!! I ordered the steak bagel, and this is how I received it.

never thought id be leaving a review for mcdonalds but this location is especially bad. showed up around 10:30pm on a saturday, dine in hours are supposed to be until 11pm but they had already locked the doors. fine- we order on the app and go thru the drive thru. the person at the speaker acknowledged our mobile order and told us we were all set. when we got to the pick up window the entire staff was clueless and said there was no order for us and accused us of coming to the wrong mcdonalds which is not true. they also said they couldnt make a mcflurry but the person at the speaker didnt say anything about that. luckily we were able to cancel the order in the app and get a refund but what a waste of time for everyone

I don't know what's happening to McDonald's or McDonald's Branch supervisors they're obviously not doing their job I've been to more than one McDonald's in Rockford and they all seem to have a low standard and do not comply not even with McDonald's own standards I just came off this McDonald's here on 11th Street may I say one of the worst Services I have ever received the manager there Park me just for a strawberry banana smoothie left me waiting almost 10 minutes I had to drive back to standards as well the drive through window she didn't even remember that she parked me and told me to wait for my smoothie After Time passed I went back to the window and she didn't even remembered and that's crazy and their standards are very low the quality is low MacDonald really needs to start sending out supervisors to supervise the store and I don't mean talking about the store supervisors he has a store supervisors here have low standards as well they need to start sending people directly from corporate that's number one and number to do better on their hiring process make sure they're hiring the right crew members number 3 if they sold a franchise they have to be stronger on the franchises they're selling and more stricter to making them comply to the real McDonald's standards and values up to date there's still not been one McDonald's that I have been in Rockford Illinois the actually works like it's supposed to and actually represents McDonald's values and operations not one so I don't know what's happening with the higher-ups in McDonald's but they really need to start paying attention to their business because McDonald's here in Rockford has very low standards values and even maintaining cleanliness up to business and that's one of the reasons I have not been visiting McDonald's like I used to it's not the same

We waited a total of 8 minutes for our hash brown that we ordered. I understand if you forgot it and had to put it in the fryer but it doesn’t take 8 minutes to cook it and give it to us

This location always have me park just to receive my food warm. If I'm expected to park and wait 5-10 mins my food should be hot not warm. Also the managers are not the easiest they won't talk to you in a friendly tone nor want to really help you.

People are good, idk if it's policy because it seems to be every McDonald's at this point. But wth is up with y'all fry portions, this is consistent too not a one off, this is a large fry for almost 4$ and realistically its $0.25. Slow and lazy service. Workers would ignore people at the counter just to continue itty bitty orders. It wasn’t busy at all. Finally when I got my order they had gotten it wrong! I asked for a McGriddle without sausage, and sure enough the sausage was there! It was written big on my receipt!

A total inconsiderate jerk (young guy w/black) was at the counter. I was not pleased with getting no slip or number from the kiosk, and instanting showed how rude he could be without trying to make it right, shows no people skills at, then I said I'm just going to forget it, and he with a smart ass comment, says bye while waving. This happened at 1:45, Tuesday 7/8/25. He needs to be reprimanded.

Visited the drive-thru around 5PM on a Sunday - waited a very long time to get our food, yet nothing was fresh or hot.

If I’m posting this then they’re doing bad job. Last 3 times over the course of 2 months they have never made proper macchiato. Tonight 03/06/25 with my mobile order for Macchiato and some food, I came up to the door at 6:50pm and they’re already cleaning to close the store. Bad management all over the country when it comes to dunkin. Can’t even guess how much money I’ve lost when I order and they won’t make it because it’s 1HR BEFORE CLOSING.

HAIR IN FOOD!! Was about to come leave a 5 star review and as I’m opening my breakfast wrap I see a long hair hanging out that’s embedded in the egg and cheese. GAG is all I could do. Wasn’t able to turn around as my son had a soccer tournament. When hair nets aren’t worn this is what happens and no one was wearing a hair net. Ugh! Other than that disgusting mishap everything else was great. The location is super nice and clean, staff friendly, food that we could eat without a hair in it was good

Amazing service by Cadance (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) you were such a sweetheart in making our drinks. The other Dunkin down the street made them incorrectly, and you literally made our entire day by helping. You went out of your way to help us and it’s very appreciated and literally made our day. Thank you, Dunkin for hiring such amazing people. He was absolutely amazing and so friendly.

Not one of the three employees acknowledge the people in front of us or us. We waited 10 minutes just to be talked to. Watched the mess up 3 orders in a row and get upset at a customer because she didnt get the right drink. The scanner didnt work and they had to run around to find 7 cents in charge, asking if we really wanted our change back. Worst Dunkin experience ever. Just got our order as I wrote this. It wasn't made correctly either. There currently isn't one person in this store that doesnt ha e a problem with their order. Just a bunch of remakes and refunds

I was gonna give this location the benefit of the doubt, but I'm done after today. After countless messed up orders (all I ever usually get is a small frozen chocolate; although I ordered a bagel as well) it pains me to give them even 1 star. Today, there was a plastic lid blended in with my drink! I felt it in my mouth and immediately spat it out. Upon further inspection, there was a very large chunk of plastic settled in with hundreds of plastic chips. Pointless to drink. Will never be returning. I don't even want a replacement at this point. Unreal.

I have been in this location and the drive thru but tonight was the last time. It was over 45 minutes and they are faking their times on their clocks. Even after the wait my food was still not fresh. Corporate really needs to look into this location. It sucks.

Wondered what was holding up drive thru, normally one of the faster experiences at this location. Then the police came and got someone out of the lead vehicle in line — boy did the line move fast then! And AND MY fries were hot!

Just a heads-up — if you plan to pick up breakfast between 4 AM and 6 AM, they probably won’t serve you, even with a mobile order. This has happened multiple times, with the usual excuse being that the system is down or changing over. Save yourselves a trip.

Quite possibly the worst McDonald's in the nation. They don't have a bunch of things that other McDonald's have (hot mustard, breakfast sandwich all day) and when they switch to lunch they are ill prepared and park everyone on the side so it looks like they have good drive thru times. They even made the dude next to me park on the side and he literally only had a coffee drink. Cannot recommend.

I’ll admit I haven’t stepped foot in a McDonalds in year but was trying to avoid the drive thru line since all I wanted was a coke. I went inside and there’s six self serve kiosks and one register with no one at it. I was in there for five minutes with zero acknowledgment, even tho two employees made direct eye contact, there was a gentleman that walked in just before me picking up a door dash order and they were short and rude with him. There is zero customer service. Was still never helped. I walked out and went to the Charles street location. They were much more attentive.

Genuinely wish I could give these people 0 stars. They don't even deserve half, let alone one. Went through drive thru and the lady said I have a problem to take care of it will be a few minutes. Tried to go inside to grab my pickup order that I had already placed and paid for online, the same lady came to the door which was locked just to tell everyone that she cannot have people in the store right now and everyone must go through drive through. I would not advise to go here. I ordered on the app and paid for it through the app. I waited 25 minutes to get my food. I went to the bathroom there was no toilet paper in the bathroom was just completely disgusting. The manager running the night shift I asked her if they were hiring she said yeah. She tried to tell me a vanilla shake cost more than a frappe. I ordered a frappe through the app and they were out of anything frappe wise. So she offered me a vanilla shake. Mind you this was for my granny this frappe. Literally gave me half frozen fries today. I don’t ever complain but my fries were severely undercooked and I gagged on the first bite. These are literally still white.. fire these people for not knowing cooking safety. They also Made me come inside for my drive thru order and I waited 30 minutes still. They weren’t even busy. I don’t recommend no one to go there. Their service is really bad . Every time I go there they always they don’t make my order right. Im always missing food or they give me something else. And if you tell them there answer is “oh sorry” and they ask for your receive and if you don’t have it cause they don’t give it to you. They can’t really anything. Today, August 1 I went to get some oatmeal some apple slicers pancakes and some Mc griddles, you didn’t give me everything. I called and they said that I needed to take a receipt if I didn’t have a receipt with me they weren’t able to give me anything back.. even that I was waiting for about twenty minutes to twenty five minutes for my order due to that they were really behind and they always come up with something. Absolutely horrible experience, they left the dining room open but were unwilling to give me the door dash order (one single item), while both drive through lanes were completely full. Expect to wait between half an hour to an hour, and for customer service to be nonexistent. Don’t accept orders from here if you’re a door dasher

Ridiculous that you put drive thru before DoorDash as if DoorDash didn't pay for their stuff BEFORE drive thru. It's ridiculous to put drive thru BEFORE mobile orders as if mobile orders didn't pay BEFORE the drive thru. What's the sense of ordering ahead of time if you put drive thru first? I'm convinced that everyone works at this location is slow. Every single time I go to this specific location the mess up my order everytime. I waited over 15 mins just to get my oder wrong.... AGAIN.

My food was absolutely disgusting. I asked for my whole order to be fresh, I got told to go to the lot #1, not even 1 minute later my food came out and it was more than 6 items that i asked to be fresh so I got home and notice there were stickers “cook to order” on most of the items but they still looked and felt old & hard. 0/10. There is always at least a 12-15 minute wait, even for the most basic orders. The staff is rude and avoid looking or talking to you. I was in line waiting for a simple order and even when I called out to the staff, they ignored me until I started yelling telling them to just give me my money back that id rather go anywhere else!

I’m not sure what you guys have changed in the past 3 to 6 months but this place is really gone down from being one of the best McDonald’s in ROCKFORD to possibly all the words due to the service

I ordered today. Had to go back twice. Ordered a double cheeseburger no onions, a large decaf coffee, a large iced caramel coffee, a large fry, and a 6 piece nugget. Had to go back because they have me a medium decaf. Then had to go back again because onions were on the cheeseburger, and now I get home. Instead of a 6 piece nugget i got 4. I'm trying to call and no answer. Called 5 times now to fix this situation. Because I want what I paid for!

Like 90% of the staff are pretty cool here. The manager is a cool guy too. I always come through to get my wife her one large coke and usually don't have any issues. Although they do charge almost $1 more for a coke than any of the surrounding McDonald's. Food quality is on par for any standard McDonald's and can vary from "Ugh" to "Yes, this is normal"

Just an unhappy gas station fast food joint. We stopped for a couple of drinks and wanted to pay cash. They refused to take our order at the register and made us use the kiosk. Then we had to stand at the register anyway to pay! The staff were really busy and were VERY rude. The establishment didn't have any clean tables. It was a sad McD's.

My daughter wanted to come here because they had a free french fry that's per one dollar purchase. So I used my app and she used hers, but at the window, the lady said that we would have to go one at a time, and then made us drive around the building to get in line to go again. Which didn't make sense to me, but whatever. The people were friendly who gave us our food and the food was good.

They probably make the best French fries out of all Mc D in Rockford. If you go there after 7pm and order fries. Maybe it's because of whoever is in the shift, they literally got one of the best French fries you'll ever get near Rf. Service was polite and nice

If I could have given them a 0 I would have. Went through the drive through and they were so behind they were telling customers that if they wasn't with a food delivery service they had to wait. I literally went home ordered my food through Doordarshan and got my food faster than I would have if I would have stayed in line. Please do better.

So...I ordered food for myself through Doordash on April 10th, 2025. Got a Mcnugget meal, but when I got my food, I only got nuggets and no fries. No biggie. I requested a refund for the missing food and figured stuff happens. But then tonight, my fiance' and I both ordered Mcnugget meals through Doordash. Again. We got the nuggets. But neither of us got fries. Additionally, the soda I received reeked of cheap perfume, or lotion, or something. I took the lid off, and that helped, but the smell was all over the glass, and I had to hold my breath so my soda didn't taste like soap. Not sure what's going on at this location, but management needs to step it up and make sure orders are complete. Especially for Doordash. I don't like having to request refunds for missing items because that causes my drivers to get their tips docked. They certainly aren't responsible for this issue because I know those bags are taped off before they even get them, so they have no way of checking to make sure it's right.

Yeah it's McDonald's I understand but this place literally makes me want to jump off a bridge. There is no reason they should be short on help right next to a high school yet they are. Tonight 8pm on a Friday night, they were only accepting mobile and door dash orders. Still regardless of that a line ten cars deep. They had shut and locked the doors to the kids getting off practice at the highschool so they were asking peoplele in cars to order No for them. Whoever owns this restaurant bares most responsibility because they don't hire and train good managers like this place had before they decided to ruin it by taking away the gas station and redesignimg it into the piece of garbage it is now. Please sell this to corporate so the neighborhood can have decent fast food again.

Waited in drive thru 30 min, one car away from the speaker. Pulled in at 10:45. They switched to lunch at 11, still haven't moved an inch and wasn't able to pull up to order. Cars were behind me and I couldn't leave. At 11:10 I was finally able to hit the speaker. No response for 5 more minutes. I had to say hello to them. They told me to wait a few moments and finally came to take my order at 11:17. When I said I've been in line 30 minutes and asked if I could order breakfast, the order taker laughed at me and said no. I responded are you kidding me? And she responded well maybe we can if we still have it. You can try. Nope. I've been boxed in here with no way out for half an hour and I don't want the lunch menu. Avoid this location. No sense of urgency or customer service.

To the teenage manager and his group of clueless rude workers, nice job on ruining the fries. And next time you want to slam your window on your customers, make sure that it's a lawyer who will not allow your behavior.

McDonald's in general has gone way down hill. Idk if it's the mob stealing the monopoly pieces or the old lady winning in the hot coffee battle but something certainly changed. Any time we go to any McDonald's but certainly this one, the wait in the drive thru is unacceptable. Last time I was there I left 20 mins earlier than I normally would for work and the wait was so bad I was 15 mins late for work. Not that they or anyone would care. I was hung over n needed that cheesy greasy burger to get thru the day lol. But one time I was here late after work getting my kids a lil snack after picking em up from the sitter, and I can't remember why or what but the lady on the speaker said something to the effect "do you want a job cuz I can't get it done any faster maybe if u worked here things would get done" like I don't even believe I had said anything that warranted that response...she may have said something like it's a 20 minute wait RN for fries and I may have said something to the effect of "dang that's crazy" or "boooo ok we will pass" or something like that u know and she snapped on me due to the stress of being a 45 year old fry cook which I get!! Gone are the days of fast food and here are sassy understaffed long wait businesses to stay. Also I am quite sure if I did work there, the place would run better 😀

The McDonald's that's the slowest in the world! My best tip is not to just pop in and order. I've had to wait for my food for 15 or 20 minutes on a few occasions.

Waited nearly 20 minutes for a pick up order, been told it's not in the system, employees were wearing pajamas, inside wasn't clean. My order was messed up, forgot the 10 piece I ordered but still be the sauce, put ketchup on my burger when I ordered no ketchup. Never coming back to this location.

Ordered a big breakfast with hot cakes and an orange juice. Got to the car and realized there was hair in the food. So I took it back in showed one of the workers not to mention one of the employees who prepare s the food took the hair out and tried to put a new top back on. I wondered why my coffee tasted so gross. It was full of grounds. There's no excuse for this. Incompetent workers want paid so much, they should do their job without making your meal disgusting because they're lazy and nasty. Inflation has prices too high to get cold food and nasty coffee.

I took my son and his friends there for happy meals. There were 9 kids and 3 adults. I asked to order at the counter instead of the kiosk because the kiosks are SO slow. I was told no. I had to beg for someone to take our order. The lady who finally took our order was very quick and helpful and even brought the food to our table. But why do I have to beg to get someone to take my order JUST because I came inside? I assume it's because they don't want you coming inside. There are no napkins, ketchup, salt, or utensils out. 3 of the drinks were out

THEY GAVE ME A PINK BURGER EVEN THOUGH THEIR STOVES ARE TIMED. I come here very often. The morning shift is ALWAYS helpful, but since the bald man with tattoos started working nights these past few months, I have had to come back countless times to get my food remade. Tonight, I ordered a #3 sub mac sauce. My roommate had another #3. When I went to eat my burger I took a bite and luckily before I chewed I saw how bright pink everything except the outside was. I asked for my money back as it could’ve made me sick, and the man told me he encourages me to call “corporate” which, this is a franchise location, so…. But I very very rarely complain at fast food as long as things get taken care of. We all make mistakes, but there is no reason to refuse to give me my money back when you could’ve made me sick as a dog.

Bait and switch…. Orange juice I ordered was watered down. The only solution that was offered to me was another drink. They gladly gave me a dollar soda with no refund of the up charge of the large orange juice I ordered. I was told by the drive-through employee that I could wait for the orange juice, but not given an idea of the timeframe that it would take. When I asked for a refund to the up charge, she insisted that this was the only way this could be resolved was to take the soda. Service was terrible. Tried to call the store manager after leaving, it went to voicemail with no return call. This McDonald’s is owned by one owner and owns many in Northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. I will no longer be going to McDonald’s that this owner has because of this.

Check your drinks! When my food gor delivered in a sealed bag, my orange juice had a fruit fly floating at the top, that is absolutely disgusting and really makes you wonder what else is hiding there

All my Oder was stale ! The fries the nuggets the cheeseburgers were cold ! Why i didn’t ask for free food I paid for it and then I call them and no answer!! Smdh

Asked employee to take our order. He refused and insisted on our using the kiosk instead. He was rude and gave his back to us and ignored us. We just left. Bad attitude and unhelpful. Needs to learn how to say please, excuse me, and sorry.

The food is decent if it's freshly made or should I say made to order. However, it bothers me that a few times I have eaten here, they always manage to forget something or I could or a family of 8 worth of food and we end up having to share 5 taco sauce packets. Always a reluctant feeling eating here.

Stupid process… order at the kiosk and then go to counter just to hand a human cash. And they messed up one of my tacos…. Bring jobs back and have someone take my order…. Like the good old days!

3rd time here, used app. Completely forgot items, but what we got was correct. Came though again. Order was correct this time and the staff were much nicer. Ordered with App, still was made wrong. Wrong meats, wrong shells, thing as sides instead of on tacos. Tried to call to fix, no answer.

Always get my order wrong and before they take my order the lady at the speaker sighed as if it was a hassle to take my order? It’s your job if you don’t like it quit this place has seriously gone down hill don’t go to this location the workers are crabby for having to do the job they applied for like seriously? Also we as customers pay you so more respect for the people who guarantee you have a job!

I don't usually write reviews especially it being Dunkin donuts. To start with they won't make food a hour before closing they ran out half the donuts. Then they got the ones I ordered wrong. If they are going to stop servicing their orders an hour before closing then they need to update their time

EVERYTIME I mobile order my order is wrong. Usually it's they put whipped cream on my drink that said NO whipped cream. This time they gave me donut holes instead of muffins. Just please READ the order. Care. It's your job.

Idk if it's supposed to be half way full I did not drink it yet but ight an the food was burnt but I love it that way

This place is a JOKE!! I pulled up yesterday for a Uber eats! The door was locked and the open sign was off!! I go back to my truck watch a car go to drive thru so I followed!! When I get to the speaker! The rude worker says you gotta come inside for orders😳 I say then shouldn't the door be unlocked!! They made me wait in drive thru didn't give me the order! And parked somebody in front of me so I couldn't pull out!! Made my customer wait 20 extra minutes!! UNPROFESSIONAL AT ITS BEST

picked up donuts today for the office to celebrate valentines day and this is what i get.. boring donuts for today . super sad about it.. not even 1 pink,red,or sprinkle donuts.. why? why?

Wanted a coffee Sat in drive thru for 35 min. Couldn’t back out because line of cars behind me and couldn’t pull through because the two cars in front of me were still waiting for their order. Terrible don’t go here
