Located in downtown Manhattan, The Chef is a beloved breakfast cafe that has a rich history dating back to the 1940s. Originally opened during the Second World War, it stood with its famous horseshoe counter for over four decades. In 2008, a group of friends decided to revive this iconic establishment and offer the best breakfast food in town.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Chef in Manhattan, and I must say, it exceeded expectations. We sat on the patio on a beautiful morning. We tried the French toast, biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The French toast was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The biscuits were fluffy and paired perfectly with the savory, rich gravy, while the corned beef hash offered a hearty, flavorful experience with large chunks of delicious corned beef. I also took a chance on the manmosa, a creative twist on the classic mimosa. While I was initially skeptical, it turned out to be much better than expected. It was a refreshing and enjoyable complement to the meal. Overall, The Chef offers great comfort food with a few creative twists, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

I was in Manhattan on business and wanted something a little special. The Chef came highly recommended by a friend, so in spite of the crazy construction detours, Google got me to your place. The breakfast service was fast and friendly and very helpful to a first-time customer. My order of hash and eggs was excellent, and the serving was very generous. I was sad to leave some on the plate. If you need a great breakfast in Manhattan, I highly recommend The Chef.
James M — Google review
My husband and I originally came here because we love the tv show Somebody, Somewhere. We were super excited to try it, but we were very disappointed. We walked in on a Wednesday morning, it was pretty quiet and not too busy. There were two waitresses working. My husband had steak and eggs, he asked for his eggs over medium. I had the French toast and the hash browns, with a side of hollandaise. Both were an extreme disappointment. The food did not live up to the standards of the tv show whatsoever. His eggs were soup and my hash browns were completely underdone. His steak was rubbery, small and fatty. The middle of my hash browns were mush. The hollandaise was disgusting and tasted like no other hollandaise we had ever had. The first waitress that came over acted like it wasn’t a big deal, but did apologize. Our actual waitress was nice enough to take my husband’s meal off of the ticket. I just want to warn everyone who saw Somebody, Somewhere that it is nothing like the tv show makes it out to be and you will be disappointed. It’s very overpriced and underwhelming.

Popped in for breakfast at this busy spot and I wasn’t disappointed. Excellent service and food and a relaxing atmosphere all made for a great experience. Had the classic egg breakfast, coffee and oj, and a pancake. Yum!
Terry B — Google review
Crab Cake Bennie. Crab cakes over cooked, chewy. English muffins sawed with a knife. Potatoes may have been the worst I've had in 61 years. Hollandaise sauce was cold. Good coffee. Waitress didn't care about my opinion, walked away when I started to tell her about my experience.
Jon S — Google review
I finally got the chance to eat at this restaurant for the first time since it opened, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I've been wanting to go for ages, especially since there's always a crowd of people enjoying their breakfast. Today, I finally indulged, and the food was absolutely amazing! What a delicious experience!
L C — Google review
The food was excellent! The service and the location were outstanding! I look forward to going back!
Dorina M — Google review
We will definitely be back! The biscuits and gravy are amazing! So rich and creamy! The biscuit has just the right amount of crisp on the outside and soft inside. The coffee is pretty strong. We like that though. After I added my sweetener and creamer, it was so delicious! The toast and warm strawberry jam, which is more like a syrup, was also delish! Corned beef hash was full of big chunks of meat. Yum! The downsides. Steak was a little tough, but seasoned well and still really good. I'd get it again. Homestyle potatoes were so spicy with black pepper, I couldn't eat them. Jay loved them though. Next time I'll get over medium eggs as the over easy was soooo runny. Even the whites. All in all, the good stuff so outweighs the not so good, I can't wait to try more stuff! UPDATE! Everything I've had here is good, amd we come here quite a bit! We started to get a half order of the Hash to share, it's so delicious! The steak didn't work for me, but the potatoes have never had the pepper ⁰problem since the first time. The Dang Quesadilla is really good. I often get the oatmeal with crispy bacon. I love it!

The dining experience at Wine Dive + Kitchen was enjoyable, with a pleasant ambiance. It was the first time visiting for one patron, who had been brought along by their son during a trip to Kansas. While the food may be considered expensive, it is still satisfactory. The oysters stood out as particularly delicious, served on a nacho shell and accompanied by two different sauces.

Bluestem Bistro is a beloved local spot in Manhattan, offering a casual and inviting atmosphere for patrons to enjoy. The cafe and bakery provide an array of freshly made pastries, along with craft beer and a selection of cocktails and wines. Known for using the freshest ingredients, Bluestem Bistro serves up made-from-scratch meals and specialties, including artisan bread from their in-house bakery.
Great food, great coffee & amazing service. Can be one stop spot for breakfast or lunch. Nice room for larger groups. Excellent atmosphere.

I understand why this place is so popular in Manhattan. It's a small bistro and coffee shop with a large menu! Their croissant sandwich and mimosas are fairly good and serve their purpose. The environment is surprisingly quiet for its location. It's a great spot for studying or connecting with friends, with plenty of space for both adults and children!
Alexander V — Google review
Visiting from out of town and wanted to try a new coffee shop each morning. Our final day we went to Bluestem and now we wish we had tried it first! I asked what she would recommend for an oat milk latte and she said the “honeycomb” works perfectly with oat milk flavors. She was so right! Best latte I’ve had in quite some time. Perfectly balanced, the espresso is bright, and they use the right oat milk yay! Literally drinking it right now while I write this hehe
Andrea B — Google review
Food was ok curly haired guy with the mustache was kind and welcoming , wish the customer service came across with the quality of their drinks. Coffee shot was pulled and was burnts with bits and pieces, maybe proper training is needed. Food was not bad but not sure I would come back for coffee.
Daniel H — Google review
Bluestem Bistro is a local favorite for a reason. The coffee is smooth and consistently excellent, perfect for a quiet morning or afternoon break. Their lamb gyro is easily the best in town tender, flavorful. The scones are a surprise standout: fresh, and genuinely the best around. Great food, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere that keeps you coming back.
Gaurav J — Google review
Great little place. Food was good and service was friendly and prompt. Glad they allow pets sitting outside!
Lucas B — Google review
Been here a few times with a great atmosphere inside or outside. Whether it is studying inside with great coffee or other drinks option or bring a dog and hanging out on patio furniture. Service and the taste of food has always been wonderful. I just figured out I am slightly lactose intolerant and they were extremely helpful with needed substitutions and questions. They also have few options for vegetarians or vegan food and they also have paleo food options. Most recently I had a gyro and smoothie. There patio is dog friendly as long as there food behaved and stay off the nice patio furniture.
Sara S — Google review
I visited the Bluestem Bistro for the first time today with my two brothers and had an enjoyable experience! The cashier greeted us when we walked in and said thanks when we left, which is a very hospitable thing to do so I appreciate that. The space is quite large offering both indoor and outdoor dining. I liked that there is a private dining area for groups that want to meet together, and that the outdoor seating area is dog friendly! The inside overall is airy and inviting which makes it a great space for studying or catching up with a friend. The cortado I ordered was prepared well and definitely did the job caffeine wise! The biggest downside I noticed was it is quite hard to find vegetarian friendly items on the menu. The veggie focaccia is really the only vego friendly item that has some substance to it so I ordered that with pretzels. What I liked about the meal is how soft the bread was and all of the ingredients on the sandwich were very fresh! What I did not like and the reason for docking 1 star came down to lack of vegetarian friendly options, the side of pretzels were sort of dumped on the plate from a larger bag and I think for the price of the meal the value just wasn't there for me. The sandwich itself could use more ingredients on it especially since again its the only vegetarian sandwich available. I think adding some onion, tofu, extra peppers, black olives, anything really I mean there's a lot of veggies that could make this sandwich ten times better and more filling. Just a suggestion! For future I would recommend others check out this cafe and play a game or get a coffee. If given the chance to come back again I would give Bluestem Bistro another try.

Bakery
Breakfast restaurant
Radina's Bakehouse is a charming bakery and coffee house that offers an array of freshly baked bread, including sourdough, kalamata olive, whole clove roasted garlic, and ciabatta. For every loaf sold, the bakehouse donates a loaf of bread to the Flint Hills Breadbasket. In addition to their delectable loaves of bread, they also serve sandwiches like the prosciutto fig on a baguette.
This place is truly home. Everything I try is delicious!! I’ve tried almost every item. They offer plenty of options (including dietary restrictions). I love their coffee flights! The staff are always knowledgeable and kind. Expect there to be a small wait because it’s so good!! Get there as soon as you can to try their hand pies. Once they are gone, they don’t put out anymore. Try the breads! It’s worth it. My only suggestions would be to make the reward system more assessable to customers. Maybe an app or punch card would work better. I’ve had issues not knowing the amount of points I have until I checkout. This all could be user error. My other suggestion is to sell the coffee mugs! Everytime I bring friends and family from out of town, they ask to buy a mug.
Faith H — Google review
Went through drive thru for a quick breakfast while visiting family in Kansas. A scone and cinnamon roll. Plus an iced coffee. My daughter loved the iced coffee. Bakery items were very good. They have a free membership to earn points, so don’t forget to sign up! Drive thru worker was very nice and helpful when ordering.

Soooo delicious! Had a hand pie and the crust was so flakey, Devine. Coconut cream cold brew fantastic. Highly recommend coming in to this delightful cozy bakery.
Linda K — Google review
Love all the Radina’s coffee shops, but the Bakehouse is extra charming and has a more exciting feel. The bakery is large and has high ceilings. The cafe itself can get quite busy — especially on weekends— but is nonetheless charming and feels like a community hub. If you’re a Manhattan townie, you’re very likely to bump into people you know at Radina’s Bakehouse. Took one star off of the “atmosphere” due to a lack of soft/comfy seating (there is some, but not as much as I’d prefer) and the generally crowded line for drinks (again, mostly on weekends).
Robert B — Google review
Friendly staff and nice quiet atmosphere. The quiche and breakfast burritos were good as were the drinks we got.
Aaron W — Google review
Bread and pastries are perfection. The hot tea is wonderful. Their sandwiches are made fresh and are lovely.

This place is so unique to the area and offers a quiet setting that is perfect for work, school, and leisure. Thanks!!

Excellent bread and yummy pastries, cookies and we really like their muffins...delicious sandwiches, the quiche is another favorite of ours! We aren't coffee drinker, but there is a great tea selection! And my most favoritest part of being at Radina's is the waitstaff...smiling, happy, positive and friendly...seems like the people who work there like their jobs, so nice!❣️

Arrow Coffee Co is a trendy community hotspot that offers locally crafted coffee, cocktails, and light bites while hosting special events. Situated at the corner of Claflin and Denison, it's a popular choice for Kansas State University students. The menu features delectable brunch items like French toast alongside an array of flavorful coffee options. Visitors praise the quick service, quality beverages, and reasonable prices.
I'm a big fan of all Arrow's brands/locations and it's top on my list of places to take people visiting from out of town. They have the best coffee in town and the best cocktails in town, hands down. And, I know that the owners care very much about their staff and doing good in the community. More local businesses like this, please!
Kelly Y — Google review
Arrow is one of my favorite places in town. If I want to try out new drinks, socialize with coworkers, and hang with friends this place checks all the boxes. Not only that, I can always expect a warm welcome and a friendly face! I wish more places would make me feel the way I do when I walk through the front doors. I gave 5 stars because that was the upper limit. Definitely recommend this place for the chill vibes alone!
Justin H — Google review
First time here and not sure if I’ll be back or not. Ordered the honey vanilla chai latte which tasted like milk with a pinch of flavor. The banana bread was also dry and not as moist or flavorful as banana bread should be. Maybe I’ll get a coffee and a breakfast sandwich next time I go but very subpar from what I’ve heard about it. Bummer. Service was great though! Loved the person working - very nice and generous.
Kaitlyn S — Google review
Absolutely nothing negative towards staff, they were very friendly. My rating is because the food and drinks did not reflect the prices. Two friends came with me. One got the chili lime burrito, the other got the smoked chicken burrito; There was very little chicken and both tasted the same. I had the pumpkin bread which was good, however the coffee was not in my opinion. I got the 12oz iced sugar baby latte with oat milk; I generally like drinks with the flavor combo of this drink but it had a weird aftertaste. This could have just been a me thing, but for a $7.50 latte I was pretty disappointed.
Ki Y — Google review
I’ve been a loyal fan of Arrow Coffee—their quality, atmosphere, and commitment to community have always set them apart. That’s why I was disappointed by their recent customer email titled “Thoughts on Inclusivity,” which included overt political commentary. In an increasingly polarized world, many of us turn to places like Arrow for a sense of normalcy, connection, and good coffee—not for political positioning. While I support any business’s right to express their values, I believe there’s a line between standing for human decency and making statements that risk dividing or alienating part of your customer base. Arrow is still a great café, and I genuinely hope they continue to focus on what they do best—serving excellent coffee and creating welcoming spaces for everyone, without veering into political discourse.
Michael U — Google review
I've been a fan of Arrow and the associated businesses ever since I moved to Manhattan over a decade ago, and just realized I don't think I've ever left a review. From the tiny OG coffee spot on the back side of the current Claflin location to the Pool House (RIP) to the Bodega and Arrow Cocktail, the focus has never wavered- supreme hospitality. 13/10, will be back.
Daniel K — Google review
I haven't been to them all, but this is my favorite coffee shop in Manhattan so far. The coffee was delicious. They have an excellent roast and steam the milk to the perfect temperature.
Timothy C — Google review
Arrow Coffee has awesome coffee and wonderful pastries. I have gotten several pastry items over the last two holiday seasons for my family. They have so many items to choose from, and there are always vegan and/or gluten-free options to choose from if you need those. I highly recommend this coffee shop. Here are a few photos of the various pastry items I have gotten. I didn't get a photo of the macarons quickly enough - one got eaten first!

Nestled in the vibrant Aggieville area, Full Circle Diner + Cocktails is a delightful new addition to the local dining scene. This retro-inspired diner offers a brunch menu that artfully combines beloved classics with contemporary twists, all set against charming black-and-white tiled floors and vintage decor. During a recent visit on a bustling Saturday afternoon, my girlfriend and I were promptly greeted and seated despite the diner being nearly full.
Delicious food, amazing presentation, and excellent service! Full Circle is a great place to go for a chill brunch. The atmosphere was very nice, it was not crowded and the music was good. The food was incredible and presented so nicely. The restaurant itself has a great vibe with fun music and a garage door in the front. I definitely recommend coming to Full Circle and I will be coming back soon!

My husband and I stopped in on a busy Sunday mid morning for brunch. His breakfast burrito was massive and had an assortment of sauces to pair. My French toast was just the right amount of sweetness with fruit that came with it. Food was delicious, and great portions for the price.

IMO, Full Circle is the best Breakfast/Brunch spot in Aggieville... I've been wanting to try the French Toast for some time and finally did today and it exceeded expectations. It's gotta be the best French Toast in Manhattan... Chef Christian did a fantastic job as the attached photos will attest!!! "PRO TIPS": -- Being diabetic, I do my best to control my sugar intake, so I ordered it without the whipped cream and powdered sugar. -- Also, I brought my own sugar free syrup, which Full Circle has no problem with. -- Being a bacon lover (who isn't), I ordered an extra side of bacon and made my version of a French Toast Breakfast Sandwich... it was wonderful!!! I will definitely have this again :) :) :) -- I also want to note that the service here is consistently postive, friendly and fun... Full Circle is definitely a favorite!!!

Normally, I do quite a bit of review before going to a restaurant but this one came recommended so I decided to give it a try. I was quite surprised how good the food was! I did the breakfast sandwich and have no regrets! If I go back, I will try something different but it was quite good.

Awesome brunch spot in Aggieville. Friends and family gathered for brunch before a basketball game. We were seated with a minimal wait, service was great and food came out pretty quickly. We had French toast, biscuits and gravy and the chicken and waffles. All were great, but I highly recommend the French toast of chicken and waffles. We also had bloody Mary’s and mimosas both of which were also great. Highly recommend this spot and I hope to be able to check out their night life scene soon.

I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Each dish had a personal touch, with food and drinks that were absolutely delicious—from the espresso martini to the freshly prepared eggs and sides. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a made-from-scratch breakfast with top-notch service!

Newly remodeled restaurant makes the dinning atmosphere really relaxing and cozy. We ordered Chicken & Waffle, Avocado Toast, All the Meats Omelet and the Full Circle breakfast. Chicken & Waffle is the best. Avocado toast is a great choice for vegetarian with eggs. The All Meats Omelet has 4 eggs +bacon+ sausage+ham+hashbrown will fill your hungry belly for sure. What a interesting dinning trip to Aggieville!

Varsity Donuts is a popular spot in the Aggieville bar district, offering clever donuts and t-shirts in a cool, old-timey space with counter stools, a piano, and a Ping Pong table. The brick-and-mortar location is open daily for your donut needs, but on weekends, the donuts are also sold out of a truck. Some recommended flavors include the maple bacon bar, Fruity Pebbles doughnut, and red velvet doughnut.
These are definitely the best donuts in a one hundred dollar mile radius! I might be a little nuts for saying this, but honestly, these donuts could easily compete with any of the ones in Kansas City. Arrive early in the morning to enjoy the freshest donuts and avoid the line. This collection is incredibly playful. I mean, it truly stands out! They offer every type, color, and flavor of donut that you can imagine. There's even a donut that resembles one of my favorite childhood characters. Try the "D is for Donut," and you'll see why it holds a special place in my heart. Even the ambiance is special. There is something special about Varsity Donuts. Every customer appears to be experiencing a part of their unwritten story and cherishing every moment of it!
Alexander V — Google review
Pros: good friendly service, clean, product variety. Cons: basic donuts, college town effort, This a very typical donut location. For transparency we did show up about an hour before closing and got donuts at a discount. I believe they were buy one get one half off. The girl behind the counter was friendly and helped out with all of my mother-in laws questions.
Brandon J — Google review
Great team each time we've visited. Yummy treat. Don't miss their late night Varsity Truck or a grilled cheese mac-n-cheese.
Tina T — Google review
We were hoping that this would be a wonderful experience based on the reviews and the atmosphere of the location. Hope was strong when we ordered our food even though the two people working up front were busy trying to watch a football game on a tablet instead of working the counter. All of that faded when we tried the actual donuts. These were the most bland and tasteless donuts we have had and they didn't even taste fresh. The bacon on top of the maple bacon donut was absolutely disgusting. It literally tasted like grocery store salad bacon, it was chewy and not crispy and at times completely inedible and I had to spit it out. The trash cans were overflowing and the bathroom was a complete wreck and disgusting. Their coffee was also disappointing and tasted cheap. I would not recommend this place for donuts and would look elsewhere in town there are much better options that are not as flashy because they put their love into the food and not into merchandise that overflows the entire seating area.
Hayden H — Google review
This is my go to place for donuts it is so delicious!! And it’s super clean, the people are nice and it’s in a great part of town!!
Bella J — Google review
Great variety of affordable gourmet style doughnuts. Love the many varieties and the appealing look and presentation. Very nice and clean shop. The taste of the doughnuts were very good and tasted exactly how you expected from the name of the item you order. Delicious
FA G — Google review
Would definitely recommend planning a birthday party here, they charge only $6.50 per child that attends the party and each child gets 2 donuts to decorate, they also give the option to play with donut dough! The staff was SUPER HELPFUL, friendly and always ready to help. In the past I have also gone here on occasions for a quick sweet treat, but the experience I had today definitely tops the cake. Keep up the good work Varsity Donuts!
Asia S — Google review
This is the most amazing donut shop! I've been to places like voodoo but nothing beats varsity. They have great flavors and unique donuts. My absolute favorite is the blueberry Otis, it's like blueberry muffin batter that melts in your mouth. The staff is awesome and so is the location, you can play games, the piano or just talk donuts.

Early Edition is a no-frills eatery that offers traditional American breakfast and brunch options such as biscuits with sausage gravy. It is renowned for its home-style cooking, serving up satisfying meals that are both flavorsome and generously portioned. The restaurant has built a loyal following within the local community due to their affordable prices, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. Whether you opt for the waffle combo or any other breakfast choice on their extensive menu, you can expect a delightful culinary experience at Early Edition.
Up visiting our son at K-State, and wanted to try a new Breakfast place. The foid was delicious. Service was great. Prices were not ridiculous. Great visit.

The quality has really gone down hill over the past few years. I have gotten the salads here for years and they now just serve you bagged lettuce with half a tomato and over cooked chicken. They don't even put any cheese on a salad which is absolutely ridiculous. They raised the price and took ingredients off. I would suggest going to The Chef or any other breakfast place that will actually take the time to make their food worth the money. It seems like they don't care much about giving their customers a decent salad and want to see how little they can give you for a higher price while caring nothing about how it tastes. Definitely won't be returning as it seems like the owners have decided profit over quality is the goal in my opinion. They also charge over $5 for over cooked bacon. It's just a sad money grab for this establishment now.

This is one of two places the locals go for breakfast. If you are local, you know the other one. Early Edition is my #1a or #1b depending on mood but its always #1. This is breakfast done right. You have your usuals - eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. Actually, thats what I order, The Usual. Im not kidding, its on the menu. But you also have more "expansive" selections. Want a Californian? Yeah, order that and get some avocado goodness. Want the biggest pancakes you have ever seen? Got that too. Steak. yup. Salad? That too. There is pretty much something for everyone. Service is always cheerful and fast. Huge qualifier - if you are here on a game weekend or move in/move out you are going to wait for a table and wait a bit longer for your food. If you come on a game weekend with 10 people, add even more time. You will get your food and it will be great but you have to allow extra time. The volume in the dining room varies too. Again, game weekend and its going to be loud. And if you are here on a game weekend, know what you want to order, eat and move out because 20 other people are lined up. The rest of the time? Slow down and enjoy the coffee. Oh and wear purple.

I had such a great experience with Trinity’s customer service. They were attentive, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure all my food was right . It’s rare to find a team that cares so much about their customers, but Trinity really stands out. I felt valued and taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend!

VERY popular place. If you have really bad anxiety or not a fan of too many people, I recommend attempting to arrive as soon as it opens . Lovely people., delicious food. So far I've had a handful of items on the menu and I would have to say my recommendations would have to be Steak and Eggs w a substitute of extra eggs in the potatoes spot . Regardless of what you're ordering, you're bound to enjoy it! There was this "Muffin of the Day" I purchased yesterday that was divine! I believe it was a "lemon, orange" muffin.

IHOP is a well-established chain that offers a diverse selection of pancakes and other classic American breakfast and diner dishes. The restaurant had a busy atmosphere, but the efficient staff quickly seated customers, despite being understaffed. The service was exceptional, with prompt delivery of orders and regular check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction. It was impressive to see the cooks also assisting in serving meals, demonstrating strong teamwork. The employees were polite, possessed excellent customer service skills, and exhibited great work ethic overall.
Normally, we have to wait to be seated, not this weekend. Busy, but they keep things moving nicely. Food & service were both good.

I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a Monday morning or this is a normal….. but the food didn’t have much taste. Sadly, salt and pepper couldnt help either. The waiter was friendly, very nervous though. I understand ihop is a chain and you know it won’t be as good as a ma and pa cafe, but I was slightly disappointed. The omelette was good and had good flavor. The biscuits and gravy didn’t, it tasted like flour.

Ill start this off by saying the manager here is wonderful and always seems to be working very hard to keep this place running. We've been here weekly for the past 8 months since our son was born and the food has always been kind of bad and the service hasn't been much better but there were never downright rude. Our server today Amanda V as it reads on the receipt was the rudest most disrespectful waitress to my wife and I and to an elderly lady at the table next to us. We will not be returning Early Edition is a little further but its worth the drive.

I went in at 9am Sunday morning. I was in a group of six, four adults and two children. We were seated right away and given menus. After that, we waited. And waited some more. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, maybe 50% occupied at the most. I noticed that a number of employees were just standing around near the front of the restaurant, acting like they were on break. No good, folks. We left after waiting 10 minutes without even being acknowledged that we were there. I took my group to another nearby breakfast place where they appreciated our business. The only excuse there can be for employees standing around is that they don't have effective management. I'll stay away from this place.

Food was hot and fresh but server never wrote my order down. Got coffee and then he brought me a cup Got food before I got my coffee didn't get what I ordered and never came back to check on me. Came back to place check on table and then waited until I gave him payment for my meal. While eating I could hear employees being loud from kitchen area about personal stuff.

If I can give 0 stars I would. Second time coming to the establishment. 1st time I waited 1 hour to be served and was never properly service while servers were always helping others and people getting there food before me as well as people coming 30min after me getting served. When I go to pay for my check, one of the servers tells me "You have to pay before you leave". Which ended my suspicion that I was being discriminated against. As for today, I come in thinking it was a bad day they were having so would give the a second chance. 1 1/2 hrs, no food and they finally tell me they lost my order and I will have to order my food again. I do, 1/3 of the way of eating my food server comes to me asking if I was ready for my check, mind you it isn't busy in the establishment. I wasn't give a discount for having my food brought late and wasn't give an apology for it as well. I know where I am not welcome and will never come here again. Hope this place gets investigated for there shady practices.

Vista Drive In is a classic retro burger joint known for its enduring classics like malts, shakes, corn dogs, and chicken strips. It's a popular stop before and after K-State football and basketball games. The locally-owned restaurant offers the best in fast food and casual dining, with a food truck that brings their excellent food to different locations. Visitors praise the kind and friendly staff as well as the consistently great burgers that are never dry or hard.
I tried Vista Drive In after seeing a post online in a local FB page. I make it up to Manhattan occasionally for work and decided to try them out and was not disappointed. I got the tri-burger with cheese and bacon and a side of fries. Nothing fancy with the ingredients but it was delicious nonetheless. Burger patties were juicy and very flavorful. Definitely a nice little local spot for a burger. Bonus points for the location: Sorta feels like Colorado next to the "mountain" per se.

This is such a good burger joint! My first time hitting this place up. I'm not from around here and have seen this on google maps itself when looking for food, but I finally committed and gave it a go. Shame I didn't try this sooner. It's like a smash burger, minimal ingredients and good flavor. I even grabbed myself a corn dog and that was cooked well also I wish I was in town longer to have come back and tried some more options because the menu here is huge. I'm sure it can satisfy most cravings. This place looks old school alone and it's comforting, with a hot meal, and great atmosphere. The wait wasn't long and the staff was nice.

Manhattan can certainly be proud of this family-owned burger icon – a local institution since 1964. The amazing original sign still beckons from the hill, its neon well-maintained and working! When I stepped inside, I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff, who quickly took my order and delivered a delicious burger combo that did not disappoint. If you are a local who may be thinking that you haven't visited in a while — GO! And if you are a visitor, like I was, definitely put it on your itinerary. Highly recommended!

Food was good, drive in style. Prices were fair! The gal who took our order was friendly, but my issue was how many dirty tables there were. There wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant but for some reason, there was a lot of workers… but not a lot of them were working. There was 8 tables that needed to be cleared/cleaned off and it was very obvious the girl who was cleaning them, didn’t want to be there. With that being said, the food was fine and I would go back if others suggested it.

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain renowned for its delicious chicken sandwiches and nuggets, complemented by a variety of salads and sides. Many fans have even attempted to recreate their famous chicken nuggets at home, often finding success with family members clamoring for more. The staff at Chick-fil-A are generally known for being friendly and efficient, contributing to a bustling atmosphere that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
We had Chick-fil-A cater our wedding, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we reached out to them, the process was smooth and professional. The food was a huge hit—our guests couldn’t stop talking about the chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and mac and cheese. Everything was served hot, fresh, and exactly as we had hoped. The team that handled the catering was fantastic. They arrived on time, set everything up beautifully, and were friendly and attentive throughout the event. They made sure everything went off without a hitch, so we could focus on enjoying our day. They even gifted us Chick Fil A cows ❤️ If you’re considering Chick-fil-A for catering, I highly recommend it! Great food, great service, and a memorable experience all around. Thank you, Chick-fil-A, for making our wedding day even more special.

Gave me normal nuggets instead of grill nuggets, and a normal Dr Pepper instead of diet. Normally not a bad place maybe just had a rough day but ruined my whole meal because I do my best to track all my macros so I couldn’t eat or drink it. The person who took our order was GREAT! Very pleased with my experience at this location just because of this person. The atmosphere was that of most fast food chains. Busy during the lunch rush, noisy, but very clean and seemed to be well managed and staffed for the time of day. The food....for a place that only serves chicken, it was really, very unimpressive and, if I'm being honest, borderline unenjoyable. I got the spicy chicken for myself and the chicken nuggets for my kids. The spicy chicken had a soapy aftertaste that was incredibly off-putting. The level of spice was good (not so spicy I couldn't taste anything else but spicy enough to warm my tongue and encourage me not to waste any of my drink lol). The chicken nuggets were extremely basic and just....bland. The waffle fries were equally unimpressive. I've had better tasting spicy chickens and chicken nuggets at mcd's, bk's, and other fast food places that done "specialize" in chicken. Overall the food was edible but I wouldn't eat here again if there are other options to choose from. GREAT service though!

This was my first visited this location. The parking lot was pretty tight, but which is fine. They opened dine in now. We went to the Saturday lunch time. It was so crowded inside, but line ( cashier ) was so smoothly. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was great flavor and smells amazing. Also the bands was so delicious too. The table and chairs were cleaned. A lady kept cleaning up the tables, chairs and trash box areas. It was great atmosphere. The children's play room was still temporary closed.

I love chick fil a. The food rarely disappoints and the service is almost always perfect. However, yesterday I was in the drive though, and the service was still great. But I looked in the window to grab my food and there was a young female coworker with long hair in a clip. She was flipping her hair around and it kept hitting over her shoulder and other people. Everyone else had their hair pulled back and out of the way. I do have concerns that some of her hair could end up in food. It is my suggestion that everyone just have their hair completely pulled back or even in a braid. Her hair was loose in the clip and that is not what I want to see flying around in a kitchen.

Most recent carry out order wasn't great. Usually we dine in here. But we went ahead and ordered ahead and picked up and brought home. The presentation of the food was lacking. My husband's sandwich was basically see-through. My salad looked like I picked it up from Pizza Hut. Nothing against Pizza Hut but I just expect more from Panera. Their presentation is usually spot on.
Laura S — Google review
Extremely understaffed, very poor dine-in experience. There was no one at the register, so we ordered at the kiosk. Waited 40 minutes for two sandwiches and our drinks. Their policy is no drink cups until your order is up, so we sat at an empty table without even water for 40 minutes. Food tasted great by the time we got it. ("Hunger is the best sauce.") Staff was friendly but stressed: there are just too few of them. Avoid dine-in unless you have an hour to kill and are well hydrated before hand.

Staff is always great. Food is pretty good and cooked fresh (as fresh as you can get with fast food). My only complaint is the dining area can sometimes be messy/dirty and the bathrooms are just awful. I do not dine in for this reason and rather eat in the car or drive home.

Probably the worst McDonald's I have ever seen. From the lowest-ranking employee to the manager, they are disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude. The person taking orders was particularly problematic; he pretended not to understand 'vanilla cone' despite my wife and I repeating it multiple times in different ways. It was such a disappointing experience. Even the manager or supervisor at this location was disrespectful and unprofessional. I am attaching a photo of one of the problematic employees who even shut the window in my face and he wasn’t opening the window until after a while I called for the supervisor, unfortunately after seeing the supervisor I realized why the rest of the employees were so psychotic. I definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone."

I went through the drive-thru this evening and ordered a ranch chicken wrap with a cup of ranch — and I paid the extra $0.20 for it, no problem at all. Ordering and paying went smoothly. The issue started at the pickup window, where Kat (or Cat) was working. After being handed my food, I asked if the ranch cup was in the bag. She said yes. I checked before driving off — no ranch cup. I let her know, and she walked off briefly, came back, and looked like she wanted to check the bag herself. I told her again it wasn’t in there and even took everything out and held the bag upside down so she could see for herself. Instead of simply fixing the issue, she told me, “You don’t have to shake the bag at me like that.” Excuse me? I wasn’t “shaking” anything — I was showing her the bag was empty, because I paid for that ranch and it wasn’t there. Why would I lie over a $0.20 cup of ranch? We ended up going back and forth about it, and honestly, it’s ridiculous. From what I’ve read in other reviews, it seems professionalism is not a strong point at this location — and this interaction just confirmed it for me. Arguing with a customer over a missing ranch cup, especially when it could’ve been handled in two seconds with basic courtesy, is wild. Let me just say this: if you come at me sideways, I’m going to meet that energy. I won’t tolerate being disrespected — especially not over something I paid for. Message to staff: Watch how you talk to people. The next person might not respond the same way as me.

Boo Boo McDonald’s I am absolutely livid about my recent trip to McDonald’s, and I can’t believe how far this place has fallen! I was craving some classic fries and nuggets, but what I got was an infuriating letdown that ruined my entire day. First off, the fries were ice-cold, limp, and tasted like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. I mean, come on, McDonald’s, you’re supposed to be the gold standard for fries! How do you mess that up so badly? They were so stale and soggy I could barely choke them down. It’s like you don’t even care about your customers anymore! And don’t get me started on the nuggets. I ordered a 4-piece chicken nugget box, and when I opened it, there were only THREE nuggets inside! Are you kidding me? I paid for four, and you shorted me like it’s no big deal. This isn’t just sloppy—it’s borderline theft! I didn’t drive through your sorry excuse for a fast-food joint to get ripped off and served subpar food. The fact that no one seems to check the orders or care about quality is just pathetic. I’m beyond disappointed, and I’m seriously considering never coming back to this location. Get your act together, McDonald’s, because this was an absolute disgrace!

Several times I've gone through drive thru early morning, and many times have received good service and good food.....but... There has been several times, this morning being one where I ordered a sausage biscuit and upon driving off and getting to work to find that the biscuit is stale and most likely left over from the previous morning. I'm sorry but as early as I come in there is no excuse for not having fresh made food. Holding over breakfast sandwiches from the day before is disgusting, serving them to customers is just nasty. It's not just a little dried out, the bottom edge of the biscuit is crunchy hard. I know what a fresh one tastes like and there's no way that food was made this morning, deplorable.

Taco Bell, a quick-service restaurant specializing in Mexican-influenced cuisine, offers a variety of menu items including tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. This fast-food chain combines flavors and ingredients to create unique dishes that cater to different tastes. With an emphasis on speed and convenience, Taco Bell provides customers with a wide range of options for satisfying their cravings for Mexican-inspired fare.
I have never been to a Taco Bell staffed with as many people who cannot make orders in a reasonable amount of time and with accuracy. Orders take 10+ mins even with no line, and it’s hit or miss if it’s accurate. Ordering inside? Forget about it. They have kiosks that don’t even have the right menu loaded, and no one will help. And now that you’re paying restaurant prices for a burrito combo, waiting restaurant times, for fast food quality and service, why bother?

I have gone three days in a row first day i understood i got there five minutes after 11 so I couldn’t get breakfast but RHE past two days 10 minutes before breakfast is over, they have been telling me they are completely out of breakfast items when I know it’s not true. Only reason I get there at the time i do is cause im rushing out of class to make it there on time. The service is just horrible.

Painfully slow service. I was in the drive thru and estimated it took 10+ minutes between cars (I actually timed it at 13).I ended up leaving after waiting 40 minutes when I came to the realization that after I order I would have to wait another 40 minutes to get my food. My last visit I went inside and it took 20+ minutes. This is fast food quality food with the wait time of a sit down restaurant.

This place is not worth any time or money, the reviews the last 6+ months have consistently been negative on the service and the quality of the food. The doors were locked even though they were still open. Somebody needs to inform the staff at this restaurant how to effectively cook food. The food I received was cold and hard to the point of it being too gross even for Taco Bell. Tl;dr If you want to wait 30+ minutes in line for cold food, this is your place!

Waited for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Could not take the order correctly. Person behind me asked to speak with the manager and the young lady manager stared cussing the customer out before he even got out what he was trying to say. The most unprofessional thing I have seen in a long time. Who ever owns this particular location needs to spend some time in it. 1 star is too high for this location.

I was really hoping that the complete demolition of the old building would also bring better staff, but nope. I went here today after placing an online order to pick up in the drive thru. There were two cars in front of me, both of which only had one bag worth of food, so it's not like they ordered much. First off, the speaker system in the drive thru is atrocious. For being a new building, they could have also upgraded the speaker/intercom system. That aside, I ended up waiting 10+ minutes for the 2 cars in front of me to go through. I am pretty sure my food was ready the entire time because once I got to the window, I was out of there within 20 seconds. I get home (less than a 5 minute drive) and the food is lukewarm at best and the cheese for my chips was cold. And instead of napkins in the bag, I got paper towels?!? Not sure if they ran out of napkins or what but that was... interesting to see. TL:DR: If you want Taco Bell, go to the one on the east side.

I will not come back here again. Like many others, I was excited after the rebuild and have given this place multiple chances. I've been disappointed every time. Service is always slow, even at slow times. This morning I waited in the drive through at the mic for ~5 minutes with no communication at all. Got frustrated and pulled forward only to have the employee look at me surprised, pull off the headset with the excuse of " OH, the battery must be dead." But made no effort to have anyone communicate that to me. I don't care if it's a training issue or a management issue, but at this point, it doesn't matter anyway.

The Sale Barn Cafe is a great spot for a classic diner experience. The portions are generous, perfect for hungry cowboys. Open Thursday - Saturday. Went with the double cheeseburger topped with a fried egg and a side of fries. The egg was cooked just right and the yoke spilled over the burger at the first bite. Taco John's-Manhattan is a delightful fast-food destination that specializes in Mexican-inspired cuisine, offering a variety of tacos, burritos, nachos, and even breakfast options. Many fans reminisce about their experiences at Taco John's from other locations and are thrilled to find one in Kansas. The salsa bar is a highlight for many visitors, with some wishing for more options like pico de gallo. The restaurant maintains a clean and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.
APRIL 5TH! AFTER 9PM! They accidentally gave me the wrong drink, but to my shock.... one of the employees at the window literally waves me down as I was driving away and gets me the right drink! Now listen..... I have never had anyone stop me even while at the window or not and make my order right. Taco John's I really hope that you reach out to that employee and tell him he did a good thing! Not McDonald's or taco bell or anywhere else has ever pursued me to make things right. Not to mention they were all polite and my food was hot and just what I needed after a Not so great day. If you are that employee and read this.... just know I am proud of you! You made an extra effort that made my night a little better!

First time at this Taco John's for me, first Taco John's ever for my wife and it didn't disappoint. We did the $1.39 crunchy taco Tuesday that were well filled and very good. Bought some bean burritos that were good as well. We'll be back. Customer service here is awsome. Very clean restaurant very well maintained. Hope they keep that Taco Tuesday going a long time.

Fast Mexican, really it's much like Taco Bell, except you can sit and have a meal inside, and the drive through is faster here. It would be really a benefit if they went back to their salsa bar, huge amounts of plastic package waste from the sauces and ketchup. The specials change and they have some new twists to things on the menu. The regular taco has more filling than the comparable taco at the bell. The only thing is getting used to the potato rounds being in most dishes. I would say that the breakfast is really good as well, they just don't open early enough to do me any good except on the weekend. Update: New menu item the Spicy Steak and Potato Griller is very tasty, is not spicy at all. Just order a couple of them, it's not a burrito, more like a little square, about half of a chimichanga. See new pic.

Fantastic drive thru service, food was good and the new lemonade drinks are 🔥

Worse food ever, I got a taco salad, and all I had was about half a cup of meat, such a disappointment. The whole thing was all lettuce. Get your money's worth. Go to Taco Bell.

Love taco John's.. Ate there almost daily when working in Minnesota last year.. Happy to see one in Kansas love the salsa bar... wish they all had pico on bar... some do some dont... I understand it's a food cost issue have many years of F&B.. Great clean store.. good job.

The person at the register looked like he hated his life and acted like it as well. It was an inconvenience to do his job of pushing buttons and taking orders. WHILE you can hate your life… you at least try and cover it up like every other retail employee He acted like it was the end of the world when I ordered a cold brew. We paid 26$ for 6 tacos and they all came like the picture. I didn’t get my cold brew either. I waited assuming they would be busy. It wasn’t until we were ready to leave my husband went up and asked for it AGAIN. Things happen, but it hindered the experience. We agreed we would never go back and we stuck with it.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain that has been delighting breakfast enthusiasts and coffee aficionados for years. Known for its signature breakfast items and an impressive array of coffee drinks, Dunkin' offers something for everyone. In Indonesia, you can even find unique donut creations like the Cheese Topping and Black Cheese Topping donuts, which are deliciously glazed or chocolate iced with a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese on top. The atmosphere at Dunkin' is inviting, with ample parking space available.
Great location and enough space for parking. They serve great coffee and a lot of delicious donuts. Also, this shop has a lot of coffee mugs. These are very nice. The shop is very clean and hygienic. The store isn't that big, but the counters and tables are always cleaned. The shop assistants are all very friendly and helpful. Freshly baked breakfast and freshly brewed coffee are very delicious. I am not sure that we can eat or not. Those tables were always empty. I never saw someone had eaten in here. I recommend this shop! I will come back to this stop soon.

Coworkers and I occasionally order door dash Dunkin’ here in MHK. This morning was quite disappointing. We have had some previous order mishaps before but they seemed minor, today was different. I ordered an iced mocha latte and asked for less ice just because I like lighter ice. When receiving my drink I was shocked to find my M size drink only 3/4 of the way full. Very disappointed!! Did I receive less drink because I asked for less ice? For $6 that’s not right.
J W — Google review
Reading and following a customers order is extremely difficult these days…. If you didn’t have what I ordered, please just tell me at the window. Don’t make me wait forever in the drive thru and then send me to work with something I can’t eat.
Linda S — Google review
I understand making mistakes on orders it happens. But when I order avacodo toast with bacon on a day with no one else at the drive through I expect bacon or atleast avacodo on my toast. I get home and I have paid five dollars for a slice of toast with nothing on it and ate it because it's a fifteen minute drive back. Thanks for nothing and terrible service. Will not be returning.

The coffee and begal were great but the guy at the window tossed the bag to me and was quick to shove the drink in my hand. I get there was a long line but rude service is not going to make me come back

Of course! Here’s a sample review for Dunkin’ Donuts: ⸻ Dunkin’ Donuts Review Dunkin’ Donuts has long been a staple for coffee and donut lovers, and for good reason. With a wide selection of donuts, from classic glazed to seasonal favorites, there’s something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The coffee is smooth, consistent, and reliable — perfect for those early mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups. The service can vary depending on location, but most stores maintain a quick and efficient pace, especially during the morning rush. I appreciate the option to order ahead via the app, which often makes the experience seamless. While the prices have crept up over the years, the value is still decent, especially with deals and rewards through the Dunkin’ app. Dunkin’ also offers a solid lineup of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and snacks, making it a versatile spot for a quick meal or coffee break. Overall, Dunkin’ Donuts remains a reliable go-to for affordable coffee and tasty treats. If you’re looking for fancy, artisanal pastries, this might not be your spot, but for classic comfort, it delivers. Rating: rizz/rizz

I come here everyday for a vanilla cream cold brew coffee and I get there are some who are new and some who have been there. This is time I ordered a large coffee and it was just REGULAR COFFEE I pay too much to get whatever they made for the car at the window. I will not be back they need more training on the drinks
Lady D — Google review
Great location and easy to get to you. The drive-through is very busy so I decided to go inside. It was very comfortable and options. I did up getting a pumpkin cold brew and a hot pumpkin coffee. I walked away with her and a great experience. The staff was very nice and very quick. I recommend getting there before 9 AM for the best selection of donuts.

Starbucks, the iconic coffeehouse chain hailing from Seattle, is a haven for coffee lovers and casual visitors alike. Known for its signature roasts and light snacks, this cozy spot also offers complimentary WiFi, making it perfect for both work and relaxation. Many patrons appreciate the friendly baristas who not only remember their regular orders but also create a welcoming atmosphere that brightens their day.
I was greeted upon entry with a smile and a “Welcome to Starbucks.” The young lady who took my order was friendly and made brief and pleasant conversation with me. My drink was quickly served and the barista who served me was friendly too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and my iced coffee was great. There is kind of an odd entrance into the location, but it is clearly marked, so I was prevented from going into the wrong entrance. Just be advised.
D B — Google review
Ill be honest. Not a huge Starbucks fan. Just not a fan of the brewing method. Outside of this, the staff here is super friendly, was helpful with me ordering something I greatly enjoyed and were kind the entire time I was in the café. I stayed for a bit juggling bills a little and they check in with me a few times, but weren't pushy in the slightest. Ill definitely revisit this location, specifically because of the great customer service of the staff.

I stopped for 2 Grande caramel brrulee lattes just 10 min ago. The service was great and the staff in the drive through were very friendly.. my complaint is that one of my 2 identical drinks was 2/3 the way full.. I always tip.. so I spent 15.64 on coffee.. that's bad enough.. but.. come on starbucks.. do better!!....(my response to owner comment)....I shouldn't have to go in the store or back through the drive through to have a "partner" remake my drink. My drinkbwas MADE fine.. the cup was barely half full!!! That.. is .. the...point!!!
Jen H — Google review
The three that closed 2/17/25 at night rude. Although different locations close at various times and the streets cut off customers can be unaware of business hours. No signs posted. Even though they saw me turned their backs to me and the manager slammed down the metal bar that keeps the drive through window locked. Then turn away again rather than simply motioning they were closed. Its extremely sad that people do not realize the customers are the reasons they are employed and have income. Or rather you never know who you are serving that may also be a business owner and remember your behavior should you need employment. I would not keep workers that engage like this and plan to follow up with this event.
Kamala C — Google review
I had ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew thru the Drive-thru so as far as the food and atmosphere was not applicable but the service was great.
Polanda1960 — Google review
Management should have a discussion with Ashley about her condescending attitude that has been something she has done repeatedly. She also feels the need to try to lecture customers about when they should come pick up their order and she is extremely rude if she feels you have shown up too early. Her attitude is completely ridiculous and uncalled for. There is a non-condescending way to speak to people, she obviously hasn’t mastered it. If Starbucks has a rule for when you can pick up your order it should be posted and not done by a rude employee.

I come here often and the people working here are awesome. They remember me and my order and it just kinda makes my day. I very much like this location. I'd say every starbucks is a bit hard to get in and out of, but this one is a little easier than aggie. And the baristas are just, they're good. They aren't out of things often. Rarely. And they make their drinks right and consistent. The line moves fast. I'm used to planning on a 30 min wait, but I've never had to plan that far ahead with them. I appreciate that. 10 mins or less in a busy drive through? The peeps they got back there are doing the things.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has stood the test of time, famous for its mouthwatering burgers and crispy fries. The atmosphere is made even more enjoyable by the friendly staff, who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. One standout team member, often seen in stylish attire, exemplifies this warmth with his polite demeanor. Dining at McDonald's feels like visiting an old friend!
Sometimes the staff really makes you feel like they don’t want to take your order in the drive through. But it’s their job….. food is normally made correctly ish, but sometimes can be a little colder than what I would except from a breakfast sandwich. Overall, it’s McDonald’s and you know what you’re getting when you go here.

Granted they were busy enough to cause a traffic jam, both order of fries were missing and my unsweet tea was insanely watered down.
Kneesh K — Google review
Westloop location is trash. Drive the extra 10min & go to the Anderson location. I order carry out in the app so I don’t have to wait, yet out of the 10 or so times I’ve gone here I’ve waited every single time but 1, even though I hit “I’m Here” before I even get to Target. Today I got onions on 1 out of the 3 burgers I ordered, wanted light mustard but I guess that means zero mustard. Off to the kitchen to remake my food.

I get off work at 12:30 pm. My son likes Mcdonalds so I stop in 3 to 4 times a week. 3 out of 4 times they park me in a stall. Today I parked for 10 pc nugget and fries. I sat for 15 minutes. A lady came out and asked me what I ordered because they lost it. So waited 5 more minutes. Got home to half tray of fries and carbonated water for dr. Pepper. Mcdonalds how about push button stalls like sonic since you park everyone anyway.
Victoria F — Google review
Besides not bringing out half of our meal, the restaurant was decently clean and service was quick. As always food was barely warm.
Tina H — Google review
I have not been to a McDonald's in over a year and honestly will never go back to this location if I do decide to go again. The manager yelled and cussed at employees in front of my family at the drive-thru window because no one was at the first window to take our payment. She rolled her eyes at my husband when he tried explaining why he hadn't paid yet, gave us so much attitude. The man who "should" have taken our payment came to the window(after being yelled and cussed at) and told us next time just pay at the first window, huffed at us, then forced the window shut. Then, not being dramatic, demanded us to pull forward to wait for our food while they helped two more customers. We waited half expecting her to come out and apologize or something, instead someone we hadn't even dealt with brought us our food. Not the biggest deal, but after the dehumanizing and humiliating behavior towards the others working I was insanely disappointed.
Ashlee B — Google review
Trash service, trash food. They forgot to give me a 20 peice I ordered when I told the guy at the window he said to park and order it on parking space 1. Sorry but Kansas McDonald's employees are lazy!
Lety A — Google review
This place is ridiculous. Ordered a single mcflurry on the mobile app. Said it would be ready in 2 to 5 minutes. 27 minutes later they have the audacity to come to the counter and ask what I'm waiting for. There needs to be something done about this terrible staff. Absolutely rude and inconsiderate. Where is management?!

Antojitos Mexicanos El Sol is a delightful culinary destination that offers an array of traditional Mexican dishes, making it a must-visit for food lovers. One of the standout items on the menu is the Fresa Con Crema, which comes in generous portions and is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. The Gordita and homemade corn tortillas are also fan favorites, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to fresh ingredients.
Wow! Super yummy, traditional Mexican food. Large selection, including desserts, chicken nuggets, burgers, and fries. I enjoyed the quessabirria tacos with the soup. They also have a quesabirria family platter for 4 people. Orders ready in 10 minutes. Fresh lemonade, Jamaica, and horchata. Inside seats 98 people, plus 2 high chairs. Very clean and pleasant inside. Festive music at a low level. Great place for a lunch special, dinner date, or a large party. Hidden gem.

Let me tell you this food has FLAVOR! I’ve been to multiple Mexican restaurants within Manhattan but the food here blew me away! The portions also make it well worth your money! The service from the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful!

Everything was AMAZING, being from Texas you don't find a lot of good mexican food that compares to actaul hispanic food. And this place just hit every spot. Great service as well. Most definitely will be coming back!!

I used to live around the corner from Antijitos Mexicanos El Sol and I'm so sad I had to move. I have been trying birria at other places and have not found anywhere else with birria tacos this good! It's so amazing, I crave it and get it every time now that I don't live close enough to eat here regularly. BUT I also love their sopes, fish tacos, papas locos & civiche. Everything here is always amazing honestly. The service is also always wonderful! Very nice and attentative.
