Breakfast Republic was a memorable breakfast experience for my husband & I during our stay in SD. I was hesitant to order the Chilaquiles but omg I am so glad that I did. They were delicious! I paired it with Cafe de Olla also SO good. My husband got the Traditional Eggs Benedict. The service was great. Overall I’ll definetly return next time we are in town.

I am not a big breakfast person, but I could eat here daily (if only there was one in my backyard)! The food was awesome. We enjoyed the omelet and "pancake flight." And oh, the mimosa was the best I have had in a really long time! Will plan to eat here any and every time we visit beautiful San Diego!

Big shout out to Marissa and Gustavo who were the most personable and sweet servers. We loved this place for our first breakfast in San Diego. It seems that I give 5 stars often but if I could give a 10 it would be here at the Breakfast Republic. Best avocado toast anywhere (which is my go to when eating out for bfast) adding an over-medium cooked egg. Hubs ordered shrimp and grits which is a highly desired dish here. Ambiance is relaxing and laid back.

Breakfast Republic was an absolute delight. The food was great. The service was super fast and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Gustavo at the G street location was the best!! I loved the overall ambiance of the restaurant and it’s clearly a fan favorite based on how much business was coming through! If you’re looking for great fast service stop by.

Got myself a breakfast jambalaya, which was absolutely phenomenal. Between my friends, they got pancakes, steak and eggs, and french toasts that all seemed very tasty. My only gripe is that our receptionist didn't seem too friendly when we asked for a table of 14 and that we had to wait a decent while despite some tables being empty inside. Otherwise the food and service was pretty good.

Great experience. Don't be fooled by the long line- it actually goes by quick. We signed up and walked around, all other breakfast spots in the area, had longer wait times. People are super friendly and so open to give recommendations- which were on point. I tried the shrimp grits- I love them and figured if I didn't like them- my family was willing to share their food (which was basic traditional breakfast- so you can't mess it up). My shrimp and grits were so good and their brussel sprouts were amazing- don't worry they might look a little burnt but they were so good. We tried their three-pancakes as well (don't judge, lol.. yes, it might have looked like a lot on our table but we needed to eat enough to hold us over for our long drive home). Anyhow, our fave was for sure the pineapple pancake. No regrets here, we will def be back here the next time we're in San Diego.

Popular and busy brunch spot in downtown San Diego. The food is good with some vegetarian options. They do a good job managing the crowd. Parking will be difficult to find since its in the downtown. We ordered Avocado Toast and 2 Veggie Breakfast Toastadas. Both of then were 4.5/5.

Yes, Luis... our server... this Snooze in San Diego, IS better than the one in Scottsdale! 😆 Luis was great server, friendly efficient and really did serve! The food was very good. I really enjoyed the link sausage, and the pumpkin pancakes (cooked smaller upon request) were very good. We enjoyed them just wirh butter and the pumpkin flavor popped. Nice fresh eggs, cooked as ordered. We were in a bit of a time crunch and Luis brought the check when requested. Very nice experience, especially enhanced by Luis.

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast and it never disappoints. If you are looking for a good quality, then this is the place! The OMG French toast is so delicious and addictive. The atmosphere is casual and okay not like your 5 star restaurant but the customer service is good.

Our friends recommended this place, and we were so impressed with the friendly service and extensive food selections. Our server Ricky welcomed us by letting us know the menu was very flexible and they were willing to work with us. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and a variety of portion sizes to match your needs.

Really great food, service and experience overall. It was so great not to have to break the tie between the specialty pancakes and omg fresh toast by doing them all on a flight. The grits were the best ive had in a long time, no additional seasoning needed (savory). My Mr loved the gluten free pancakes and was glad he could get a pancake flight too. Sometimes, the gluten free menu is limited and he doesn't get many options, at Snooze, he had the same experience he'd have if not for the food allegey. All was very good! Everyone left full and happy.

Charming restaurant serving breakfast and sandwiches for almost 3 years. The service is superb, the food delicious, and the restaurant itself is cute. The lamb burger was thick, very juicy, and delicious. The fries that came with it were excellent, where the outside was crispy and inside tender. The three egg scrambles were all very good.

Such a cute brunch spot! The food was delicious, the space was clean and welcoming, and the staff was so friendly. They even surprised us with a free churro pancake (which is delicious by the way -way too good!) for our late friend’s birthday that we were celebrating. In 2023, I decided to try this place for brunch. 2 years later, it’s hands down one of my favorite places to enjoy brunch with friends. This year alone I have already celebrated 2 special occasions here(yes, they do have a birthday club). I’m addicted to their mimosas and Eggs Benedicts. Pair the excellent food with the cozy environment and you’ve got the perfect brunch spot.

So delicious! We had the stir-fried rice bowl, One bluecorn meal flapjack meal, and my kiddo has the one pancake meal. We also ordered PH Sunrise and Cran Pomegranate mimosas and both were worth the $1 upgrade for the prosecco instead of champagne. A restaurant I would recommend and will be coming back to the next I’m in San Diego.

Food was incredible!!! Especially the Chilequilles (green) with carnitas, Churro pancake, and mimosa flight! Service was a little 'less attentive' than we like. Not bad, just slow to check back in to see if we need more coffee or when we were ready to pay.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday to celebrate my son’s birthday. The venue is visually impressive, with a lively atmosphere and a strong sense of energy that explains its popularity. The wait for a table was just over an hour for a party of four. In terms of the menu, vegan options were limited. I selected the pancakes, which arrived in a generous portion. Unfortunately, the texture was very dense, making them difficult to enjoy, and I was unable to finish the dish. The coffee, however, was very good, and nondairy milk was available. Service was adequate but unremarkable. While staff acknowledged our birthday celebration with a glitter-infused shot, only one was brought to the table, which felt like an incomplete gesture for a group of four. Overall, while the atmosphere was enjoyable and my son appreciated the experience, the quality of the food and the service details suggest there is room for improvement.

Alright this is a bit of a hard one. We visited twice during Twitchcon weekend. Once on Thursday morning, and then once on Tuesday afternoon. Thursdays visit was very pleasant, delicious food, excellent service, and good drinks. Tuesday however, the day I write this, for some reason had a completely different vibe. Despite ordering the same dish, it was drastically different. I enjoyed their Steak and Eggs on my first visit, but upon second review my steak was tough and chewy, with fried onions that were completely soggy with grease. The “dirty” hash-browns gravy was thick and tasted of cream and the bottom of someone’s shoe. I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but I was really disappointed with our second visit, especially with such a stellar performance the first time around. Overall? This may be a hit or miss venue, with some stellar items and some that may fail to meet expectations. Unfortunately the bad experience sort of rained on our last day together. Not to mention syrup is a $5 up charge on dishes that really need it.

They definitely pass the vibe check! So beautiful inside. Great music. Amazing staff. The food & drinks are so fire. The steak and eggs are my favorite. The fried rice smacks! The soufflé pancakes- DELICIOUS! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Kailee was our server on our first visit. She was a delight. Our experience was so great that we doubled back a second day (before leaving SD). Jacob’s service was wonderful as well. It was a true pleasure meeting Thomas too! Great brunch place! They have some very interesting options to choose from and does not restrict itself to one type of cuisine. The khachapuri and the lobster omelet both were pretty good. The best dish we had was the souffle pancakes, it was very gooey,warm in the middle and was very well made. A must try if you are a brunch lover. The restaurant doesn't take reservations and you have to be there to get on the list. Also the wait time can be pretty high and we had to wait 35 minutes to get in.

This was an interesting experience. The service was fantastic in my opinion. Attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They did joke around which was fun because I hate getting a robot when trying to order food. I ordered the morning wood old fashioned, and the chilaquiles with Birria on top. The old fashioned was perfect. It had a nice blueberry flavor you could just taste a hint of. I loved it! The chilaquiles were good, not great but good. They had a decent flavor and the chips were cooked extremely nice! However the problem I ran into was the Birria, this might have been the most bland pile of meat I’ve ever had. Even my girlfriend hated it. I had to pull it off and put it on the side of the plate. I don’t know if this was just a bad day for their Birria, but I won’t even give it another chance that’s how bad it was. Overall id come back again, the service was great, drinks were on point, and the food minus one thing was excellent. I’d love to give their other foods a chance.

A side of sausage, on the other hand, was unfortunately overcooked, sacrificing flavor and texture. Omar was an amazing server! He was super attentive, friendly, and made us feel really welcome the entire time. The food was beyond incredible — honestly a 10/10 (if I could give it higher, I would!). It is being advertised as a rustic farm house, but really it felt more like a modern restaurant with nice farm tables. Staff was great and very attentive. Food was mediocre. I had veggie Panini. While the panini was toasted to perfection, my sandwich was just warm. It was a bland sandwich. I didn't taste any sauce, and neither any of the vegetables in there stood out when I took a huge bite. Dad ordered American breakfast- just typical toast, eggs, and sausage. Nothing special. For the price I paid, plus 3% credit card extra charge, I was expecting better quality food.

Really fantastic service from all of the staff! Super attentive. The Ciopinno was so delicious. They strained the broth beautifully. The seafood was really nice. Loved the zucchini blossom appetizer. Pesto chicken pizza. Beautiful glass of Sangiovese. A really wonderful ambiance and meal.

We had a great experience here for Sunday brunch. There is a parking lot across the street, which may gets busy during peak hours. The Classic Benedict and Red Chilaquiles were great. We also had a Mexican mocha, the manmosa, and mango mamosa for drinks. I definitely recommend the Mexican Mocha. The service was great and our food was served with very little wait.

We ordered the farmers pizza. But as you can see from the photo, they forgot the farm. The dough was soft and doughy. This used to be a terrific go to pizza. I’m sorry to see it has declined so much.

I've been taking my family here for years now since they've open. Great spot but we are normally here for breakfast. This is one of the very few for dinner. The Pork Shank is legit. Great flavor and fall off the bone. I typically don't like chunks in my mashed potatoes, but they were OK. Spinach was spot on. Service was great. Everyone is a bit on top of each other in there, but... Hey... It'll be a La Mesa staple for years.

Great location right on the corner of La Mesa boulevard. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Can get quite crowded around brunch time. There's a small parking lot in the back and street parking.

The best brunch spot in California! You gotta bring your appetite as the portions are colossal! You can honestly order a plate and share with someone else. This place was so delicious that we had to return the following day! The lavender/mint and watermelon lemonade were both incredible! Not too sweet and you can taste the fruit a true 5 out of 5! The menu is incredible with ample breakfast and lunch options. There was a specialty menu on a smaller paper. My wife ordered a crab Benedict. A blue crab cake on top of a biscuit with fried egg and some type of sauce. This dish was excellent and the combination worked well together and was a 5 out of 5! The banana foster French toast tasted as good as it looks! I would rate a 4.4 out of 5. The pineapple upside down flapjack was super delicious. Good texture and taste. I would rate a 4.6 out of 5. The sage fried chicken was a 5 out of 5 day one and a 4 out of 5 the following day. Both days the chicken was fried superb. Day one the seasoning was close to perfection! The eggs and breakfast potatoes both were good and the food presentation matched the taste. I would like to return and try the lunch menu as the meatloaf has ample good reviews. The service both days was five star! Everyone is friendly and ready to assist if needed. Would recommend anyone in the San Diego area that loves really good breakfast this is the place to visit!

Loved the huge servings plus they offer a lot of options for something to drink including espresso. Food tasted absolutely delicious. Every bite was divine. But pricey, but hey, it's CA prices. Our server is amazing! She was fast and friendly and easy to chat with even though she was super busy. Had to wait to be seated but the tables are very close to each other so it felt like we were on top of each other.

We came at about 9am for breakfast, and the atmosphere and staff was great! Very charming, friendly and quick! The drinks here were amazing! The visuals for the food are great! The esthetic seems to be the bigger the better! However, the taste of the food needs improvement. The waffles aren't sweet, the syrup isn't sweet to make up for it, the biscuits are VERY dry, the potatoes are undercooked and unseasoned, the chicken is unseasoned, the food came out cold, and more. It just just didn't live up to the hype for us.

It was my first time there. I went in the morning and was able to get in without a reservation, but the table and chairs were too high, so there were a lot of customers waiting nearby right in front of the entrance, and the servers had to pass by a lot, so I couldn't enjoy a leisurely breakfast. I asked for a lower, more spacious table, but they refused. That was the only drawback. The latte was way too sweet too much sugar, too much whipped cream. The egg Benedict was ok egg was over cooked. Too much portion and the taste wasn’t that great.

Had a reservation for 3. The hostess was very pleasant but I cannot say the same for the server. Service was extremely slow. Two parties that were seated after us were able to order before us and served before us. My spouse ordered avocado they brought out guacamole. Also requested fruit and served was unaware of what fresh fruit of the day was. As you can see from the photo two pieces of honey dew. Food was pretty good but nothing outstanding.

A must-try for breakfast in San Diego! The food is delicious, portions are huge, and the service is always great. My go-to is the Sage Fried Chicken & Waffles – the fried chicken is perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the waffles are amazing with sweet and salty bacon bits. The sage adds a unique, delicious flavor.

I can understand why La Cocina de Doña Estela in Valle de Guadalupe has earned its Michelin star. I only ordered the potato soup, but I was blown away by the depth and richness of the broth. The flavors not only brought me back to my childhood, they went beyond that. My friend ordered the nopales with egg, something you could easily make at home, but tasting it here, from the land it originates from, just hits differently. The portions are generous, which can be dangerous because you’ll want to keep eating. The pan dulce was also incredible. We took some back to enjoy with coffee the next morning. I’m normally not a big breakfast person (just coffee for me) but this place makes me want to return and try every single one of their specialty dishes

This place has been talked about every time you google breakfast places in the Valle de Guadalupe. Of course I had to try it! Went with a group of friends (4 total) a little before 9am. And it was already getting pretty busy. We were seated right away; and had requested outdoor seating. Inside felt very packed for us and needed that extra quiet feeling. Outside was perfect! We went right before the weather started getting warmer. The waiter brought over queso fresco and chips. The cheese felt very fresh! And could be from the farm they have onsite with cows. Our food was all delicious! Will go back and try another dish.

Definitely not worth the wait. Menu is mostly breakfast items which unfortunately I’m allergic to milk, eggs and pork. So fair to say very limited choices. The wait is ridiculous for what you are getting. I’ve heard people wait up to 4-5 hours. According to one of the workers an hour wait is like no wait. The road to get to the place is bad. I recommend going with good tires and suspension. I think the food may have been great before all the hype.Yes, it’s delicious because it’s not processed and more like our mom or grandma’s cooking. I cook in the same fashion so it was nothing extraordinary for me or my partner. I personally will not be making the drive again. But as always give it a try it may or may not be for you. FYI: There are three roads that will take you to the restaurant according to one of the workers. There is one we took going in which was the worst one. Lots of potholes and not paved. The one we used to exit was actually not bad at all when comparing the two. The second one was flat and only had a few potholes. There is parking inside and outside of the facility. Go with lots of patience, not hungry or take a snack and drink if you go after they open. Or you could buy yourself a drink from the coffee stand and snacks from one of other stands. Also Dona Esthela may be available to meet and greet her customers.

Boy what is there to say about this celebrity joint. Anthony Bourdain, Chef Ramsey, and many other have come to this place. They are all over social media. And yes its as good as they say it is. The very slow well seasoned lamb, the beef machaca, the homemade tortillas "flower and corn" is do die for. I'm not a fan of just to eat lamb but this one is definitely superb and one of a kind. Don't for get awesome corn pancakes and the café dw olla. Its worth driving the 20min drive from Ensenada in Valle de Guadalupe. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Feed your food souls and God bless, its a must.

Prepare for at least an hour’s wait on the weekend but totally worth it. Delicious, traditional Mexican home cooking. I’ve been twice now. The specials - borrego tatemado and the corn pancakes are must haves.

Solid breakfast spot. We went with the machaca and elote pancakes. It really does have the feel of a large family breakfast set up. The beans were great, the elote pancakes were good but very dense and chewy, which definitely is a different concept of how I see pancakes. The machaca was tasty but it wasn’t something I would likely order again. The fresh cheese with the salsa and chips however was excellent. I think the concept of an elote pancake is awesome though! Next time, I would like to try the chilaquiles. The orange juice was tasty. Tasted fresh squeezed and was told made in house, which I believe. Come EARLY. Sunday morning brunch crowd filing in after their minor wine hangover is a real thing. We got there at 815 and had no problem finding a table and ordering but it looks like after that, it starts ramping up.

The best and the most memorable restaurant during the visit. Their foods are all phenomenal and reasonably priced. The vibe is so vibrant, staffs are nice, I would want to come here every day if I lived here

Well, those coming from the US and don't read or only speak a little Spanish, I would not suggest this restaurant unless someone in your party knows Spanish. My dining experience was good, but our waiter forgot about us when it came to getting the bill. I was celebrating my birthday, and three waiters sang los mañanitas and brought me a complimentary slice of carrot cake with a coup of vanilla ice cream. Yummy 😋

Came to eat here on June 20TH, 2025. Have eaten here previously and thought it just an average experience then. Was in the area so decided to get something to eat here. I think that it’s highly over rated. The food is bland. The serving is very okay, the restaurant itself is average inside, pretty big with lots of tables. There were 3 of us and we all ordered different things and not one of us were impressed with our dish. Even the house coffee was mediocre and at 75 pesos for the cup you’d expect something better. I would not recommend this place. The portions were big but what good is that if the food is just meh? To me there are better places with more flavor and better prices in Tijuana.

The potatoes are not fresh. You can tell that they are frozen and possibly pre-cooked. I couldn't eat them. They tasted stale and dry. I don't recommend.

The atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was not, because it took our waiter more than 20 minutes to come to our table to ask if we were ready to order. Usually, we order drinks first, then we order food. The food and drinks were too simple, without enough flavor. I don't think I would be back to this restaurant.

My favorite steak! I love this restaurant. Whenever we are in town, it is our top choice. I have been eating at this establishment two or three times a year since 2019. Still the best!

An interesting place, El Rey Sol. When we went the place was absolutely empty. Despite that the food took a while to get to our table. The mushroom soup was actually pretty good. The dinners were not.... I had linguine with fish with a wine sauce. I had assumed it would be white wine but it was, I think, a soy sauce that wasn't horrible but.... surprising. My partner had the duck with fruit sauce that was basically a dessert and unpalatable. My friend had Coq Au Vin which was ok. All in all, it was a middling experience and definitely not worth the premium cost.

Many famous people like the U2 band come here for a nice meal. The restaurant does have a classic fancy feeling. Great for a business, romantic, family and friends meal. I don’t like giving negative reviews to restaurants but- if a restaurant is expensive and touting itself as fine dining then it’s another story. Between the 3 of us, one meal was ok, the coq au vin, one was meh, the wine pasta, and one was outright inedible, the duck. The dish was a lump of overcooked duck meat with some odd fruit sauce dumped on top of it. While a berry sauce with duck could be subtle and divine, this was as if someone took a sauce for cheap pancakes and poured it over chunks of duck. Yuck.

Great place for an intimate dining experience (inside) or a fun lively dinner (outside) in the fresh air. Our waiter was very attentive and did a great job with making the Cesar salad table side. Our filets were cooked great and everything was what I was expecting. Across 4 of us, we had 9 drinks plus our food, including 2 filets, price was very fair.

A Gem in Ensenada, we travel to France frequently. The food pastries is EXACTLY what they serve in France. We Had the privilege of eating here and meeting the manager he showed us around and told us the history of this fine Establishment

Ensenada was the last port while on the Princess Cruise. Went to walk around and found that this place seemed to have a nice patio. Stopped by for a quick bite and drink. Food was ok at best. But worst service ever. Food got dropped off and never saw anyone again. I had to find someone just to get silverware. And they didn't even give me a napkin. They also gave me a snotty attitude when I asked for one. Flies were all over the place. Not clean or pleasant at all. Highly recommend if you're looking for an overpriced tourist trap with poor service.

French opulence and art decorate this beautiful restaurant. We felt like we were in Versailles with the piano music played by a real human. Beautiful melodious music for for the royals. We enjoyed French baguette, beurre and yummy dinner. We had beautiful seasoned Pasta Louie and caprese salad. For drinks, we had tamarind margarita and lime margarita. Highly recommend for delicious food, great ambience and amazing experience. So beautiful that we forgot to take pictures of the food. Our friend tried French Onion soup and Chicken Cordon Bleu! Great presentation and delicious.

We were sat outside because I had my puppy and honestly that was the smartest decision of the morning. Inside was so loud and packed it felt like a festival without the music. Our server was cold, I understand it was busy, but a little warmth goes a long way. The hostess and a couple of servers decided the doorway behind my husband’s chair was the perfect spot for a full conversation. They talked for a straight five minutes. That may not sound long but when you are trying to enjoy brunch with your family it feels like forever. I could barely hear my kid across the table because their chat turned into the main event. The line outside was wild if you did not have a reservation but I did. Parking was even worse. We got extremely lucky and found a spot right in front, which I will probably never pull off again. If you do a reservation you will be seated quickly, but brace yourself for the noise. The food was not bad, but it was not amazing either. Definitely not worth the price or the hype. In the end I left more drained than satisfied. Grand Maple was a one time experience for me

We visited Great Maple for Sunday brunch without realizing it’s been a Michelin-recommended spot for several years, so expectations were high. The wait was about 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad considering the brunch rush, but parking was a real challenge — especially with the Hillcrest Farmers Market taking up most of the nearby spots. Inside, the restaurant is lively and full of energy, but also very loud and tightly packed. Walking space between tables is almost nonexistent, so if you value elbow room, I’d recommend sitting at the bar or ordering to-go. We ordered the chilaquiles, brisket hash, pork belly, and French toast logs. Every dish was flavorful and well-executed — meats were tender, portions generous, and nothing felt overly greasy or heavy. The brisket hash stood out for its depth of flavor, and the French toast logs were surprisingly balanced, not too sweet. Portions are large enough to share, and we definitely couldn’t finish everything. Food: 4.5/5 – Excellent flavor and texture. Ambiance: 2/5 – Too loud and cramped for comfort. Service: 3.5/5 – Friendly but stretched thin due to crowd size. Overall, I’d give Great Maple a solid 4/5. The food lives up to the Michelin mention, but next time I’ll plan ahead, share a plate, and probably skip the coffee — it was too dark and bitter for my taste.

Had a fantastic spontaneous visit to Great Maple! I enjoyed the Little Gem’s Salad—fresh and flavorful, just what I needed. Brendan went for the prime rib, and while it was great, not quite the best he’s ever had, it definitely hit the spot. We also shared the Burratta appetizer with fig, which was absolutely amazing—a definite must-try! Parking was easy, and we were lucky to have Marcos and his trainee Brendan providing top-notch, friendly service that really made our visit special. If you’re in the mood for elevated comfort food and great vibes, Great Maple is a spot you shouldn’t miss!

The vibe inside is really cute. They put a lot of thought into the design. The latte was delicious. Everyone (except who I can only assume was the manager) was so friendly. The food was mediocre. I was disappointed. The presentation is great, but there is zero flavor. Eveything was bland and expensive. I wouldn’t come here again.

I wanted to really like Great Maple because they are on the Michelin guide but some of the food was just not edible. The poached eggs were way over done and had a plastic taste, the smoked BBQ pork tasted old. The French toast was pretty tasty, maybe it depends on what you get. The proportions are wildly different, some people left the table still hungry while others had way too much food

The hype is real. Clean elevated dinette. The Michelin star got me through the door. Made an early rezzy and skipped the line. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Interior was a total vibe. Food looked amazing, and was... fine. Wanted something special (given the ticket price) but brisket hash, a milk, and a piece of pie put me out $60 after tip with no cocktail. Can say I did it. Would maybe come back for the pie?

Stumbled by this place in my visit to North Park, and upon entering the diner, I was greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere that only a classic diner can provide. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, and I sat at the counter, eager to indulge in some comfort food. When my pancakes arrived, I was immediately struck by their size... huge! The were fluffy, golden-brown perfection. Stacked high and they looked absolutely irresistible. The first bite was pure bliss—soft, airy, and bursting with that homemade flavor that you just can't find in a chain restaurant. Each pancake was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of crispiness on the edges. I opted for a the granola and banana toppings, but the diner also offered an array of toppings, from fresh berries to whipped cream. Overall, my pancake experience at the diner was nothing short of delightful. Whether you’re a pancake enthusiast or just looking for a comforting breakfast, I highly recommend stopping by this place.

I loved this place. We stopped by on our way to the border CBX and it was a great experience. Food is delicious, marvelous presentation, and service is so nice, friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was the best... thank you guys.

I don’t know if they can’t smell it or it’s just my sensitivity. The inside smelled like old people diapers or sewage. We ended up sitting outside. Other than that, the service was amazing and so was the food. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. The steak breakfast was okay, was mostly a scramble more than actual steak and potatoes.

This place has amazing reviews! I may have got overhyped and then was let down :/ the vibe is perfect. Totally beachy, unassuming, laid back, clean, vibey. The staff - totally cool, relaxed, charming. The food - womp womp :( beautiful presentation, but lack of flavor and too hipster for our liking. I had seen rave reviews for the chilaquiles l, which are my fav and was the number 1 reason why we came. However, they were extremely untraditional chilaquiles with completely different flavor profiles… and this one was bland. It was spicy but had no real flavor. My husband wanted eggs and chorizo, and all they had was soy chorizo. Again, pretty hipster for us. My husband ate it, but wasn’t amazed. My son loved his strawberry banana pancakes, though, and we all ended up eating them haha (portion was huge!!!) My son ordered a chocolate milk and they brought it out looking like a cute little latte which was a fun touch. Overall the experience was good, we just wish the food had lived up to the hype!

Looking for a place to eat for brunch?? Look no further. This is a Great brunch spot in North Park to have a quick bite to eat. There’s an open patio for your dog to come join you. I love that there’s breakfast and not breakfast options. My favorite is the loco moco and coffee options. Parking is a bit hard to find but doesn’t mean it isnt a good neighborhood to walk off those calories.

The food was good, the potatoes were amazing, I really did not like the sausage, it was so so so sweet we were shocked. It actually did not taste like meat at all. That kind of taste tasted like candy. I can’t explain it. I did not like it. The eggs were some of the best eggs I’ve eaten. I love their bread too. I would come again and try other things on the menu too.

This restaurant usually have long waits, we were lucky to go on a weekday and it was not busy at around 10am. The service was good but a little slow for my preference. She was very nice though and explained all the dishes we had questions on. Food tasted delicious and it didn’t take that long, maybe because they were not that busy. The concept of this restaurant is good, a little small but still aesthetically appealing. There’s only one bathroom but it was very clean! Parking is in front of the restaurant I believe and it’s $15 or $20 to park unless you find street parking or public parking. I would definitely be going back!

We walked passed this place on a Thursday at 8 am it was completely empty and we decided to go in the next day after. We are from Texas and we're visiting a few days and didn't want to eat hotel breakfast. The Friday we went in it was pretty busy but were sat fairly quickly. Mind you just myself and my husband, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come over, while another family of 5 got sat and within 30 seconds someone was there to take their order. Our server was walking passed us and stopped in her tracks and was quick to ask if we were ready. We made our order and it was out within 7 minutes before our drinks came out. We both got "hot" lattes but they were warm at best. The food was good, again not hot but the flavor was there. Our server never came back after dropping off our food, we had to get another server to grab our check after waiting another 15 minutes after we were done eating. We're not the type not to tip well, but this was a $65 check for 2 people for breakfast, so no she did not even get a 10% tip. We decided to give it a go again the Sunday we were leaving. It's about 8 am, empty, like 2 families of 2 or 3 people there, she asks if we are walk-in or reservation. I was confused because there was literally no line and a bunch of tables. We were sat, the server comes over, we both got the caffe de olla, again warm at best. The food again out within 5-7 minutes, flavors seem to be there but it definitely feels like they rush the food and the service. Server came back a few times to check on us, waited about 5 minutes after we were done to get our check. I asked her for our check and she comes over and asks "has anyone given you you're check?" I was again confused since she was our server and had her little handy dandy machine on her, like was someone else supposed to give it us. Service absolutely needs to be improved and maybe take a look at turning up the heat on the food and coffee because everything is warm/lukewarm.

Avoid delivery though because the 30 minutes it sits in the container gets them soggy even if you get the “deconstructed”..idk if maybe they didn’t follow this request but just go in person. Pro tip, make a reservation online to avoid long wait. I really want to like this place since they are known for the “best chilaquiles in town”. Overall I wasn’t too impressed. My chilaquiles were soggy, apparently because I got them “constructed” but since I ordered delivery it really was not, they were simply placed in a to go container. It seems silly to charge extra for “deconstructed” version to maintain the crispyness, it should just be common sense to use best judgement when it comes to that. I was confused in regards to why the beans were so watery, am I suppose to drink them? Also they were nasty and tasted like they came from a can, I threw them away. I was initially mostly pleased with the $6 freshly squeezed orange juice but was expecting something extra since they advertise it comes in an “adult cup”. I later found something floating around in there..coulda been mold from not cleaning their squeeze device properly? The flavor of the chilaquiles and carnitas was really good. I have yet yet to experience the “best chilaquiles in town”. Soggy is not it.

Great spot for authentic, delicious Mexican food and brunch! Be prepared for a wait if you don’t have a reservation—but trust me, it’s well worth it. We came on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend, and the place was fully prepared for the crowds: organized, professional, and efficient. There’s a large paid parking, street parking, and a garage all conveniently located right across the street and next to the restaurant, which is a huge plus for any downtown location. One unique touch I appreciated was the display of all their menu items both on the phone and behind glass inside the actual restaurant—it makes it easy to choose what looks most appetizing. I ordered the El Patrón platter, a hearty breakfast sampler with chilaquiles, beans, two eggs, and French toast. The portion was just right—I cleaned the plate. For dessert, I had the churros, which were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Simple, but perfectly done. The only downside was the specialty coffee. At $9, it didn’t live up to the name or price—the milk in there tasted borderline expired...Still, I highly recommend this place! They have several other locations too, in case downtown isn’t your scene. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 10/10.

This was my first time trying Cocina 35. I have seen this restaurant with huge lines before which have turned me off but this time I decided to give it a try. I wish I would have tried this place sooner as I didn't realize how quickly this establishment attends its guest which allows the line outside to move very quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the chilaquiles with carne asada and the agua de jamaica was delicious as well. All the servers were very welcoming and very attentive. I will definitely be returning.

Let's start with the customer service. It was not good service at all. I saw 2 other couples from the walk in list, that got seated after my husband and I, not only get their orders taken but they got their food and drinks before we did. I ordered the Patron plate with a little of everything. The chilaquiles were tortilla chips with a light smear of bland salsa. The beans were watered down. The avocado was not ripe. The french toast was stiff. This place is overrated for the quality of the food and service. The decor and walls inside are not aesthetic at all. The cherry on top was after paying for this mediocre Mexican meal, I had to use the restroom. A Cocina 35 employee finished using the restroom and did not have the decency to inform me that the restroom needed to be restocked with toilet paper. Luckily I had pocketed a couples napkins and was able to use them. I will never be returning to any of these Cocina 35 establishments and highly recommend you seek another restaurant choice over this business any day.

I had a great breakfast at this restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared quickly. The service was outstanding—Luis, our waiter, was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We hit on this breakfast house on Google and were pleased with our experience. Steve had scrambled eggs combined with chorizo with hash browns and I had eggs over medium with bacon and hash browns. They only serve flour tortillas (homemade, bomb 💣) and the coffee was strong. Very quaint location with an energetic vibe on the inside. We were given the choice to go upstairs or eat in the main dining area downstairs. We opted for downstairs. The decor downstairs is old photos and antique farm equipment and saddles adorn the walls in the main dining room. They have very clean restrooms boldly marked for men and women separately. Overall a nice typical Mexican breakfast (by that I mean this isn’t a fusion food house)

You wouldn't believe there's a restaurant like this in the middle of nowhere (or felt that way since we walked here climbing up 100+ steps on the way from the popular streets, should have taken a cab in hindsight) The waiters are super friendly and nice but if you don't know Spanish, you are going to do a lot of pointing and Google translate. Their orange juice is 👌 and their breakfast dishes are all good. Nothing out of the world but no complaints. You can end up waiting a long time for them to get the check so do wave them down at the end.

Fantastic! Hands down the best American breakfast food in Tijuana. I love a good American breakfast and Casa de Coronados does not disappoint. Their eggs, bacon, chorizo, and pancakes were all well cooked and came out super tasty. The pancakes have this home-cooked taste to them which is fantastic (don't get me wrong, I love a good IHOP pancake too) and reminds you that you are not visiting a big chain restaurant. If you want to try a good breakfast joint and want to get a little off the beaten path from downtown TJ then give Casa de Coronados a try! Update, it's been a few years since I've visited Casa de Coronado's and they are as good as I remember. There prices have gone up about 50 pesos across the board but that's life.

Pretty good breakfast! It was kind of unexpected where it was, we drove by a couple of times before seeing it, it's tucked back off the street slightly, so you don't realize it's there! Fun, "Old West" feeling, and great breakfast. Got the California omelette and Eggs Benedict and fresh squeezed orange juice

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! My boyfriend and I went here for the first time to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and after being seated we were immediately greeted by our waiter Peter. He was absolutely incredible, by the way we were dressed he asked if we were celebrating an occasion and he somehow knew it was for an anniversary. He came back with water and free glasses of champagne for us! The overall vibe of this place was perfect, and the FOOD oh my was it delicious. We ordered the yellowtail sushi and short rib potstickers, both were incredibly delicious, for our entrees my boyfriend ordered the scallops and I ordered the roasted chicken. Those chefs clearly know how to cook, everything was perfect. Peter then came back after we boxed up our meals with dessert on the house and a candle, I can't express enough how friendly and real that guy is, he truly is great at his job and made us feel so welcomed and nothing about his demeanor seemed forced. Our anniversary already is special and he made the night even better! 10000% will come back and 1000% recommend Peter as your waiter!

Cool spot with nice indoor vibe or comfortable outdoor seating. Delicious food and coffee. Service is great. Huevos rancheros had great flavor, not too spicy. Bloody Mary picante was good. The cinnamon French toast was made well but pretty sweet. Ordered the cleo latte and the wildflower half sweet and they were delicious.

Had a great time at The Henry this past weekend while visiting San Diego. Their offerings are delicious, including house-made salsa, a great breakfast burrito, and delicious bacon. Ambiance is really nice, there is music but it is laidback, feels like a quiet, calm escape, especially when contrasted to the somewhat rowdy Gaslamp District. The service is impeccable and the restaurant itself exudes this upscale-vibe I'm sure many would enjoy. Only downside is that we didn't like the coffee and the matcha. Otherwise, wonderful place that I would go out of my way to visit again!

Mind blowing flavor on most of the foods we ordered. Dont miss the appetizer and dessert. Omg, the molten cake, the most delicious dessert ever. The pretzel toffee filling inside the cake was genius! My teens loved the lemon cake with strawberry gelato. Gelato was so smooth, delicate, omg! The dropout coffee was so delish, a colombian coffee base, with caramel and chocolate in it was all complementing each other. Service was quick, friendly, n effective. The size of the entree was not big enough to get fully stuffed but it gave some room for dessert. Some entrees were overprice. Choose Smart! 🙂

Stunning elegant classy decor, all American confort and elegance. Beautiful bar, people watching. Friendly staff. Outstanding prompt attention. Wonderful drinks. Food was ok, my eggs Benedict were too poached, not runny to perfection and the crispy potatoes a tad too dry, muffin not toasty enough, but all these can be perfect for someone else’s taste. Next time I ll request perfectly poached runny eggs. Mimosas: get a bottle if you are two, gives you four mimosas. Now what made it top five stars: fresh squeezed pineapke and orange juices. Amazingly fresh. Spent about $120 for two. Breakfast and drinks. Had a wonderful time.

Great lunch spot! We went on a Friday and it was pretty busy, but we were able to get a table within 15 minutes. An extensive and eclectic menu, and the oysters were delicious! The burger was just so-so but I will definitely be going back for the chicken and avocado salad.

Very nice place for a brunch !! Hearty selections. Food was delish. We had a couple of vegetarians in our group but they were able to make selections. The service was excellent- very friendly staff. We went during a long weekend and had to wait 30 mins to get a table assigned for our group of 5. Will be there again soon.

Food was really good, I got the apple fritter pancakes with bacon and eggs, pancakes were great but could have used another sauce or more syrup, a tiny container was included. Service was friendly but the place was insanely busy and I didn't get even one refill on my coffee, only saw the server again to pay the bill. Waited about 35 minutes for a party of 2 at about 11 on a Saturday.

Pretty awesome brunch. Their breakfast burrito was delicious! We arrived at a very popular time which came with an hour wait, but the hostess recommended ordering and sitting at the outside tables. Following her recommendation we ended up waiting 15 minutes for our food and she even took the time to shine with superior customer service by offering drinks and a little table service to us. Their prices are good especially considering how delicious everything tasted. Overall if you’re looking for a tasty breakfast this place does not disappoint.

We visited San Diego and the lady at our hotel suggested this place. Needless to say we ate breakfast twice while here. The food was fresh and delicious. The Mexican mocha was outstanding! Juan was our server twice and is awesome!

An absolutely delicious experience, I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and yogurt and granola. The yogurt and granola were the best I've had in my entire life. I would go here again just for the yogurt and granola. Great find and highly recommended

A very fun (and delicious) brunch. My wife had the gluten free french toast which she loved, my one son had french toast and another had a kid’s pancake that came out as Mickey Mouse which was a very fun touch. We asked for an extra side of Bacon they call “Man Candy” which has a lot of potential but was ultimately soggy and missed the mark. Making candied spiced bacon (their attempt at it) isnt hard, they just need to work on it a little more. I had the steak and eggs which was solid. The atmosphere was fun and the service was great. It got extremely busy on a Sunday after 10, so try to get in a little earlier!

I am staying in downtown and saw this breakfast place super busy on the weekend. So I tried it on a weekday and it was not too busy, I was able to get a booth around 10:30 am. I was not aware Richard Walker's had multiple locations. For food I ordered the Baked Pecan Pancake which has Georgia Pecans and Cinnamon Glaze. This was such a unique pancake, it had nice flavor and sweetness! It was quite large for one person so I also took some of it for home. Food was solid but servers were really attentive and nice!

Paid $50 for breakfast for 2 people that included a burned apple pancake. (Compare my photo to the others on here). Apologies were the only compensation I received. Bacon was good, and we were seated quickly. Stained glass pretty.

This restaurant always has a line out the door and now I know why best breakfast I have had in years. They offer a baked omelette that was out of this world. I had pigs in a blanket and my son had The Omelette bacon and pancakes that were absolutely excellent. I think it may be the best bacon I have had in any restaurant!

Love this place and the atmosphere was just right. Never been to San Diego and I just feel at home. My family love it so much, they wanted to live in San Diego. Never knew the restaurant was right around the corner from the hotel that we were staying at . My favorite breakfast was the German danish, thank you the food was delicious.

Came here on my Birthday for Breakfast. Impossibly good. There’s a lineup in the morning but it moved quickly. Got a seat inside and the wait staff were immediately of service and really, really great. They have a birthday pancake that is small(ish) and super tasty and comes with a candle. They even poured me a coffee to go!

This is a must see and eat location on the beautiful Coronado Island. This is our second time making it to this dinner and the atmosphere along with the service are just a great experience that brings you back to a bright 1940's. The variety of food including American and Mexican food provides a good mix for breakfast and lunch combination that will keep you coming for more. I enjoyed the Huevos Rancheros which was a decent portion with my eggs cooked as requested. Seating is limited, but the food and drinks comes fast so we got seated in a decent time. We will be back again to enjoy Clayton's coffee house!

Love this place!!! Vibe is 60/70's diner. My husband and I was Visiting the area and decided to patron a small business. So glad we did! Everything is made from scratch! Awesome food, made to order. Staff was very welcoming, warm, and great customer service. We had the Philly Steak and Cheese w/ a huge Honey Bun to go. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely return!

This place is a gem. We stumbled upon it on our last day of vacation as we were visiting Coronado island and on a 1.5 hr waitlist for what looked like a delicious but pretentious restaurant that was nearby. After finding out that a wait for a table at Clayton’s was only 10 minutes, we decided to eat there instead. We sat at the counter and our server Jaxy was great. My husband and I ordered her suggestion of the carnitas and chorizo hash with a cinnamon glazed pancake. My daughter had a hot dog and fries. Everything was delicious and the retro vibe of the place is super cute and colorful. The music was fun too; a combo of 80’s and 90’s alternative/new wave. Super happy we stopped in here instead because by the time we left, the other restaurant texted to say our table was ready. Thanks for the awesome time, Clayton’s - you made our day.

I came here years ago and still remember the 50’s diner feel. I was delighted come back and experience it again. Hasn’t changed a bit. So glad to see a small diner like this survive in such a beautiful place. Perfect place for a burger or breakfast. Everything on the menu is looks amazing. Shakes are killer!

Great location for anytime of the day. Wasn’t too crowded on the two occasions that I have visited. Ordered the Prime Ribeye which came with a lot of sides. I would have to say that I’m only giving 3 stars because the dish overall felt a bit too greasy, vegetables were heavy with oil which I wasn’t a fan of. Was looking for something lighter. Fries were fried perfectly, would highly recommend. The steak itself was a bit greasy and thin, but it tasted fine. Would go to a steak restaurant though for steak next time. Will have to say that though the tortilla chicken soup was small, it was very good. Will be coming back to taste more of the menu.

My daughter and I tried Clayton’s Cafe for the first time. We went during the non busy hours so we did not feel crowded. We really enjoyed the classic 40’s cafe atmosphere. The service was excellent and our food was delicious. We ordered a BLTA with an egg, the Black Forest Ham croissant sandwiches , with sweet potato fries on the side. For drinks we ordered a coffee, and a matcha iced tea. Good quality food ! Photos don’t do justice! You definitely receive your money’s worth! We look forward to going back again.

Fantastic food spot! Typical diner style menu with breakfast all day. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. All of our food was fantastic and plated well. Love the appetizer options and food ranging from burgers to Turkey dinner. Definitely give it a try.

I had the steel-cut oatmeal and the Brussels sprouts for breakfast. While the steel-cut oatmeal itself was good, the toppings and everything that accompanied it were spectacular. As for the Brussels sprouts, they were the best I’ve ever had in my entire life; I could eat them all day. And I can't forget to mention the pistachio coffee dish. If you’re a coffee drinker, you absolutely have to try the pistachio coffee! The service was top-notch, with multiple servers checking on me throughout my meal. It was just enough attention to show that they genuinely cared. I would definitely go back to Provisional again.

Standout meal in San Diego! The bottomless mimosas were a great price and came with housemade syrups. The salmon was fresh and the portion was ample for the price. Added a perfectly poached egg to go with the everything bagel fry bread. Husband had the truffle grilled cheese with tomato soup and he is still talking about it a week later! 10/10 would return. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the Pendry so came down for breakfast quite often. Throughout the week we ordered so many different things: Breakfast Pizza (Bacon, Devonshire Cream, Parmesan Reggiano, Spinach, Two Over Easy Eggs), Breakfast Sandwich (Tuscan White Bread, Omelet Style Eggs, Heirloom Tomatoes, Arugula, 1 Year Aged Cheddar, Calabrian Chili Aioli), Chilaquiles (Roasted Red Salsa, Pickled Red Onion, Green Onion, Lime Crema, Cotija Cheese, Cilantro and Poached Eggs), Eggs Benedict (Hollandaise Sauce, Smoked Ham, English Muffin and added Salmon), Avocado Toast (Poached Eggs, Sriracha, Radish Sprouts and Multigrain Bread), Pesto Aioli Breakfast Potatoes, Breakfast Burrito (Chorizo, Potato, Over Medium, Eggs, Cheddar, with Roasted Red Salsa). My favorite was the Breakfast Pizza but to be honest, everything we ate was made at such high quality. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here!

i came here for brunch and dinner service and i am so glad i did. ryan and denise were both so friendly and really made me feel at home. drinks are always strong, don’t come here unless you plan to leave tipsy. 10/10 I’m coming back tomorrow

Avoid. Decided to get breakfast here as we were staying at The Pendry. Checked in to wait and sat down outside as the host said was okay. Told it would be about 20 mins not bad. As we sat outside Steven came up to us and then said we can't sit there. Never asked if we were waiting for a table, just you need to wait elsewhere. The mobile check in showed we were next, then saw several walk ups be seated right away, so asked how much longer hostess then sits us back at the table we were waiting at. Steven could have just grabbed us menus if this was going to be the case. Good customer service would have been to ask if we were waiting and what our name was if they were opening patio. They start with water and they processed to spill all over my menu and some in lap. Ordered the Chiliqualas as I enjoyed them last weekend at Gaslamp Breakfast Company and Rustic Root, it was terrible would not recommend. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict which he didn't finish it was so bad. Even with the hotel credit it was not worth it to eat here. For a 5 star hotel this restaurant is awful in service and food. Go elsewhere there are much better restaurants nearby!

It's a nice place to eat, the steak is not always the best. We ordered two steak plates one was like chewing rubber and the other so delicious that melted in your mouth.

I had a very good chile en nogada and especially good outside of the state of Puebla.

We ended up by pure chance and honestly can say it was a divine find. The first time we ate there we were there for breakfast and we tried a couple of versions of their chilaquiles and it was some sort of love at first bite. The we brought the family for lunch and everyone was extremely happy with the food. We had Enchiladas Suizas, Sopes de Tuetano and quesadillas de champiñones and rajas. My daughter told me she missed the enchiladas a couple of days later so I guess there's another trip to Tijuana in the near future.

I haven't been here in a while but I always have a nice experience with the service, menu, and prices. This was no different as the menu is varied, portions are big, and the flavors are delicious. Tried the Cazuela con rajas poblanas, the chilaquiles were perfectly done served with refried beans. The crepe cake was a bit too sweet for my taste but it was freshly made. You get a small pastry, and a small plate with fruit during breakfast. A nice addition was the live mariachi playing traditional Mexican songs. It's been a while but it didn't disappoint at all. This is well worth the visit.

Came in for Brunch, we had the berry pancakes, the ceaser salad with chicken and a smoothie and some juice, also had the cream of the day. Food was great and fresh, a little on the pricey side for two people. They had a small fly problem that they need to fix.

My first impression was the valet parking I tough was a cholo dude standing on the entrance then he approached and opened the door so imagine my impression (he didn't greeted or waited), then inside waiter was kinda rude just asking my wife order and sayings that's it right?, me just looking at him and asking "can I order something?", did not confirmed later on order and brought something different twice... moving to food is good only that saves the place, looks healthy although portions are small, in the future maybe hardly to come back , generally speaking looks very unformal and come with a mindset of mistakes on orders and they talk back not entirely rude but not service oriented

A great spot for both Mexican and American style food! 🌮🍔 The dishes were very fresh, full of flavor, and nicely served. Portions are generous and the menu has a good variety to choose from. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Perfect place whether you’re in the mood for tacos, burgers, or just a relaxed meal with friends and family. Definitely worth coming back!

We stopped by Alma Verde after running some errands to have a light breakfast. The restaurant is modern in appearance and features wood tones and simple wood chairs and tables in the dining room. We ordered a Dulce de Leche Latte and a special citrus hot tea to drink. I ordered Avocado Toast which comes on sourdough bread with hummus and my partner ordered a Quinoa Hash Brown dish to eat. Both of the drinks were served in beautiful coffee mugs and tasted amazing. I had to control myself because I could have easily drank it down quickly and ordered more. The Avocado Toast had a large serving of avocado served on top of the hummus ok the sourdough break. It was delicious and I would definitely order it again. My partner felt the same about the hash browns. Service at the restaurant was both friendly and efficient in nature. All employees appeared to be working hard and smiled often at diners. Parking was by valet only unless you want to drive around the area and look for street parking which can be difficult to find. We really enjoyed our time at Alma Verde and will be back.

Me and my husband had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place while in Tulum on vacation. The food, ambience and service were nothing short of amazing. If you are looking for a healthy options that taste amazing then this is the spot for you. Their fresh juices are great and taste just as good. The staff, customer service, outdoor and indoor area is clam, quiet and clean. Outdoor area is just gorgeous. Shout out to Rosa, Alfonso, Melania Karina and David the manger. If you visit tell them we send you.

My husband and I love this place. We've only gone for breakfast, and it's so nice and quiet. The only thing is that the times we've gone, they never have fresh orange juice, but the coffee is delicious! The art wall is amazing! The staff is very nice too.

It takes a while to get your food great atmosphere and location. The food looks good on paper, and it's actually decent. It's not too flavourful but on the good side. The service is lacking.. even when you explain to them in spanish to cut the sandwich and leavabout some of the items in the sandwich.They don't do it. Also, be careful of the waiters. I don't know his name , but he changed my tip amount to a higher tip amount when he walked away before he pressed the complete button. I noticed the tip was higher when I got my receipt.

The food was better than I anticipated. The mocha is not sweet just how I like it 8/10 Orange juice is made fresh 8.5/10 Hash Browns 8.5/10 Eggs 7.5/10 Waffles 7/10 Bacon nice and crispy 8/10 Chilaquiles were top tier 9/10 Staff is courteous and attentive. Highly recommend.

Don’t get the chilaquiles. The worst dish I’ve had in Mexico. Lots of tortilla chips and nothing else. The extra eggs were good though, and maybe other items on the menu have more flavor. The personnel was nice.

Its expensive for Tijuana, however, staff is on point, dressed very nice, the place is spotless, great location, good people watching. I meet here for business meetings. They have wifi. They dont rush you.

I'll give a 5 star for the food because my omelet was so delicious 😋. I didn't care for the potatoes or beans but one of the best omelets I've enjoyed. Great experience! This restaurant is a great place to eat. I felt good, the place had a good ambiance and in the night there’s live music, they offer the complete experience. The place is big and has a many tables, the food was so good, I ate red chilaquiles with a soda and was so delicious, my friend said that food was very good, she had spaghetti, coffee and she liked this food, too. The servers were nice. I’m giving this restaurant five stars, because my experience was great, I recommend it!

Very good place overall. Their regular latte and salted caramel latte are both excellent, depends if you’re in the mood for sugary drink or not. I tried few bakery and breakfast items, and all of them were pretty good. I tried butter croissant, almond croissant, prosciutto breakfast croissant, and smoked salmon bagel. All options are excellent. Their prosciutto breakfast is more buttery than I would like it to be, so maybe they need to go easy a little on the butter. Wait time can be little long, but on average it is ~ 10-15 minutes. Overall I would give this place a solid 9/10.

This is one of my new favorites in the north park area. The combination of good coffee, great staff, and plenty of seating won me over. They have a great combination of outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating. Even with plenty of people there, there was still seating throughout. We love coldbrew and even though they didnt have an option to sample the mint coldbrew they had, they offered to give a bit of the surup to make a little sample using the one we ordered which is super nice. We were also able to get it in a glass rather than plastic which is great as well. My only nitpick is that glass should be the default for people getting it for there. The atmosphere is great too. While it is designed for buying the products they sell, it is nice items that are laid out in a way that adds a great look to the place. Overall a great spot.

This was easily one of the cutest cafés I’ve been to in San Diego! My friend took me there because I wanted a cozy spot to work from. The vibe, the aesthetics, everything was a solid 10/10. I ordered a sakura matcha (which I think could’ve been better), but the lavender one was chef’s kiss. Also had a turkey bagel sandwich don’t remember the exact name, but oh my god, it was SO good. Everyone else loved their food too, so safe to say this place is a hit!

Great place to do some work on your laptop. They have a nice ambiance, they have power for your devices, a lot of different seating areas, a very tasty versatile and trendy menu. They even have mimosas! The food was really good.

This is a cute, relaxing place that sits next to a plant nursery. The outside patio is quiet, away from the street. Inside is decorated with a cottage feel. Avocado toast was very good but I would have loved fresh avocado slices instead of a spread. The kids options are why we came. My daughter had the. Chocolate steamer. They have several options.

Communal Coffee is an absolute gem! I had their Latte and the Spiced Pumpkin Latte—both were amazing. The lattes were perfectly crafted with rich, smooth flavors, and the Spiced Pumpkin Latte had just the right amount of seasonal warmth. A favorite of ours in the Rosarito Beach area. They raise their own beef, chicken, lamb, etc, so it's especially tasty and tender. Had lunch; 2 of us split the fajitas, and another had the beef tacos. All were excellent. Their salsa is HOT!

Awesome coffee, make sure you get at least 1 cup! Handmade tortillas are another great thing you must try. Food selection is "ok" seems their specialty is steak and their breakfast menu. We came in for "brunch"\lunch, menu was a bit limited for us but still great selection.

If you are in Rosarito, this is a must to stop for a meal. Nreakfast in my opinion is the best here. Awesome view. Great staff and delicious food.

Amazing place for authentic, fresh Mexican food. My first visit here and we had vegetarian meal- there were not many choices but the manager offered to make it our way. Delicious salsa and chips- so so fresh! Then they had a server come with all ingredients to make salsa to our preference. We were worried we would get full on the chips. We ordered quesadillas, rice and beans, veggie tacos, veggie burritos and enchiladas. Everyone in our group loved the food. I had veggie burritos and they tasted heavenly- you could taste the freshness of the food. The tortillas are made fresh in the open in the restaurant. The dessert needs a special mention- coconut cake- the best we have ever had- the cake was robust and flavorful with a not too sweet fluffy frosting with a subtle coconut taste. Perfect ambience and even better courteous staff- highly recommended!!!

This is an amazing location. We arrived late last night. We were received with open arms and a glass of wine - and truth be told the wine was delicious. A quick change in shift left us with another amazing young man who jumped right in, showed us to our room, and quickly confirmed the massage booked for the next morning. The experience overall was amazing. Breakfast there was also a wonderful experience.

The place is nice and food was good but the service could've been a little better. It was happy hour and we were charged regular prices for our margaritas. Some of our meals were missing items listed on the menu as well. Just double check your receipt before paying.

The setting here is beautiful the hacienda-style architecture and view really make for a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. That said, the food is clearly geared more toward the American palate, and unfortunately, it falls short in flavor and authenticity. We ended up here because we didn’t want to wait an hour at Doña Estela, but ironically still waited nearly an hour only to be served bland chilaquiles. Three of us ordered them and none of us finished our plates. Even the coffee missed the mark I asked for an Americano and was served basic filtered coffee. We asked for salsa to try and boost the flavor, but it didn’t really help much. This was my second time eating here, and both visits left me disappointed. If you're coming for the views or staying at the hotel, it might be worth a visit for the ambiance. But if you’re looking for standout food in Valle, there are definitely better options nearby.

Really delightful breakfast at the restaurant. La combinación de hacienda was truly delicious and the arrachera to die for. I loved my green juice and the pan dulce as well. The true highlights are the stunning grounds, views of the valley and service provided by the delightful Alicia. She is truly passionate about the valley and providing an exceptional experience. It was because of this we wound up spending the whole day here and hope to enjoy an overnight stay and a wine tasting next time we return. Thank you for a delicious meal, tranquil afternoon and great local recommendations. There are lots of great places in the valley, but I'd consider this an absolute 'must stop', especially for breakfast. See you soon!

The architecture is beautiful, very cozy and welcoming. The greeter is okay but the waiter was excellent with his service. The quality of the food and the serving presentation was very good, the flavor of our breakfast meals was delicious.

We stumbled upon this place trying to find somewhere open at 8am for breakfast on a Sunday morning... and we're really happy that this is the only place we could find. The food and service was excellent. Their Mexican hot chocolate and 'dulces' were an unexpected, yet much welcomed touch. I definitely want to go back for dinner some time, and probably even stay at the hotel, which looks beautiful.

Off the Main Street by about. 1/2 block- 100% worth it- no one bothering you while you eat. The food is fantastic- authentic and full of flavor- I love heat and they actually gave me HOT salsa- holy cow it’s delicious!!! Our server was prompt? Attentive and checked in on us after we got our food- honestly 👌.

Excellent food and a local atmosphere. Authentic soft tacos at a good price. Indoor seating. After getting off our cruise and trying other tacos this place is the best we had in town and they did not try to rip us off or add extra charges to our bill so it is highly recommended.

This is regarding the wait staff only. I hear good things about the food. One of the waitresses had the neighborhood cat disappeared for no reason. Everyone loved the cat, I loved her, and I had paid to neuter her myself so she could stop having kittens endlessly and have a better life. I will never eat at this place knowing what kind of element works there.

We have breaks¡fats during the week, the place is huge and all the atmosphere is with iconic Mexican musicians and artist. The service really friendly, is like you are coming to a home as a guest not just a restaurant. Dani our waiter took really good take of us, since we arrived to the table until we leave, so kindly and professional, never had extra plates in our table (things that in Santa Barbara CA where I live, always deal with this dirty plates standing on the table). Quick service. The food came hot (and I loved it) the flavor hand made tortillas, the lady came with a basket full of of variety of pan dulce, I had a guava atole… yum!!! Delicious. And really good music play list. I definitely will come back next time. Thank you Dani for making us feel very welcome, Viva Tijuana, Viva México!!!

I love coming to Sabor a Mi. It’s honestly one of the best places to get breakfast, lunch and, dinner. I usually come for breakfast and every time I come here I’m blown away by the quality of service and food. Eduardo is an amazing waiter who helped us and was very accommodating of any request/changes we asked for. I really appreciate all the extra steps he took to make this experience above and beyond. I got the Ribeye combinacion but you can’t go wrong with any choice. I can’t recommend this place enough to my friends and family.

A great place to eat and take a look at all the vintage items they've acquired. They also have a large variety of birds you can look at. Went once when they had vendors of all sorts. Overall, the food has been delicious. They offer red and white menudo, beef tamales, corn tamales, molletes, quesadillas, and agauas frescas, among other items. Great little place to eat and spend time with the family walking around. Another plus, restrooms have been clean and fully supplied every time I've been here.

Spent the day with my family lots to see. They are famous for the menudo here. They have a brewery which is really nice and a small zoo and lots of small retail shops. Definitely worth the visit

They serve a delicious, clean, red or white menudo at the restaurant located in the grounds. Some days you might have a wait depending on the time you arrive (which is to expected when it's a place that serves good food). Plus the saloon "bar" serves Yummy micheladas. I'd recommend to go their while you wait for your table or after. Daisy at the bar is a sweetheart! Service is great!

Really great place for breakfast with the family. Their food is simple, not that many choices, but what they make tastes amazing. I'm not a menudo fan so I had tamales, they're full of meat and the refried beans were delicious. After the meal have some extra spending money because in the wild west themed back lot there are many artisanal shops, wine tasting and brewery. Pony rides and even push cars for the toddlers.

This place was as magical as I expected it to be. I had heard a lot of great reviews from friends and family, and today I was finally able to experience it. It was way beyond my expectations. Everything was very fresh, tortillas, butter, salsas, bread and specially their menudo. The flavors are magnificent! We had menudo, both versions (red and white), fresh tortillas and bread, an order or refried beans with fresh cheese and horchata. DELICIOUS! They have a limited selection but they succeed at every step and dish they offer. It is refrigerated with several sections to seat more people, but you will probably still have to wait depending on what time to make it there. Definitely worth any wait and the long drive. Highly HIGHLY recommended!

It's great food is all good of course you're in Mexicali. I had Menudo rojo that soup is more authentic than any other BS restaurant you'd find in the U.S. . The museum area is pretty cool has a lot of antiquities ranging from the 1800s - 1940's 50s 60s and probably farther back. The museum looks like an old western type like Clint Eastwood, and you can walk in most of the buildings but not some of the displays. But trust its a good tourist attraction that I didn't know existed till today. Anyways awesome place to gander at if your interested in historical artifacts or history in general.

It says it opens at 7am but it was 8:30 and they had very few things set up. We were sat at the wobbliest table. The fruit and dessert station was soggy and old like they didn’t even bother changing the containers from the day before. The food lacked flavor. The only decent thing was the quesadillas but the quesadillas lady was rude. If you do decide to go, walk through it first and then decide if you’ll stay. I saw a few people do that and we should have left. The price does not match the quality they are providing!

The shows on every cart that came to our table were a nice surprise. But the meat quality was not the best, hard to chew, and sometimes felt more rubber than meat. My husband ordered a coffee when we first arrived. They said it would take a bit longer since they have to brew it. I guess it is still brewing. He asked twice for it afterward, and they said it would be brought shortly, but never got it. The girl that makes the tortillas seemed mad or at least fed up for some reason. We were told we needed to go ask for the tortillas with her, but when I did, she replied with an annoyed gesture.

The place is clean and beautiful! They have a buffet option and there is a big veriaty of option! The quality of the metirial is really high! Everything is fresh and tasty. Including the buffet you get a big hot plate of good meat on the grill - I think that the meet was more then well done (burned). The service was excellent, it was pleasear.

I was only offered the buffet, and had to request an omelet. The egg was folded over the ingredients like a taco, the eggs weren't cooked along with the ingredients. The heater was turned on... in March. The servers were helpful and friendly, but overall it was not a great experience for me.

I have been dissapointed with all the food in Rosarito. Except for the food here at Pancake Republic, the food is decent I would say the best breakfast I had in Rosarito. I order Huevos Rancheros and they were a 4/5 the spicy sauce was indeed spicy and the Cafe De Olla was the final hit to my 4 star review. My stepson ordered 2 chocolate pancakes. The packakes were very fluffy and filling. My husband ordered mini stacks - the pancakes were buttery and delicious the hashbrows were good and he stated everything had flavor.

Just had huevos benedict at [Pancake Republic]. Honestly, the vibe was strange—staff seemed unmotivated, and the energy felt off. My neighbor and I both felt self-conscious because of how people were acting, and it made me wonder if they even wanted to be there. The whole experience left me questioning if my food was treated properly. Definitely not a place I’d come back to. Just sharing my honest experience.

Amazing breakfast at a super reasonable price! Easy parking, and so many delicious an interesting, pancake dishes. They have a senior menu and a kids menu where they make the pancakes into animal shapes. Great eggs, chorizo, fruit, and coffee a must if you’re in downtown Rosarito or near the Rosarito Beach Hotel. super clean bathrooms with disabled access and disabled parking out front. This is a rare gem of a breakfast restaurant I highly recommend.

They were understaffed. Took 20 minutes to order. The young waiter was working all the patio tables and some indoor tables and cleaning tables as people left. The host/manager wasn't helping at all. The fruit salad was fresh and tasty. I was very surprised because fruit is usually an after thought at restaurants. The waffles were also excellent . Freshly squeezed orange juice 👍🏼

I've been to Pancake Republic two times now, and it has been a good experience both times. The staff are very friendly and they come and check in on you a couple of times while you're eating to make sure you're good. Definitely like the place when I'm in the mood for pancakes, and would recommend it to anybody that likes pancakes 👍

This place has been rated by Michelin as Bib Gourmand for a reason. Very good food at reasonable prices. Excellent dishes with their twist. We had the casuelita en salsa verde and the platos Marcelo. Both were great options. They start you off with some bread and their signature cheese on the house accompanied by a salsa matcha with what I think is Chipotle. All very good. The customer service was excellent and the place is very near, within walking distance of the main strip in Ensenada.

Wow! Fresh, delicious, upscale food at affordable prices. We had the chilaquiles con barbacoa and the mushroom risotto. Both fabulous. The atmosphere inside the tree covered patio is relaxing, tranquil. Service was attentive and helpful. One of our favorite places to dine in Ensenada so far. Highly recommend!

I was really looking forward to trying Casa Marcelo, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations for a Michelin Guide restaurant. We were originally told there would be a 20-minute wait, which ended up being closer to 35 minutes. Once seated, the service was disappointingly slow—our server never checked on us after bringing the food, and when we finished our meal, we had to track them down. It then took another 15 minutes just to receive the bill. As for the food, it was underwhelming overall. I ordered the machaca, which had very little meat and was mostly tomatoes. On a brighter note, others in my group ordered the chilaquiles, which were much better. Between the lackluster service and uneven food quality, the experience just didn’t live up to the hype.

The space is absolutely gorgeous and the food was 10/10. So glad we found this place - might be the best chilaquiles I’ve had.

What a charming spot for breakfast. The food was excellent, service was spot on, and the vibe was perfect. A older Spanish vibe for sure, loved the courtyard with all the foliage. Good coffee and Mimosas, the two dishes we tried were unique and delicious. I highly recommend trying this place. If I had tried more of their dishes, I would probably given them a 5 star review.

2022: The place is huge and well established, the atmosphere is amazing, cozy, and wondrous. The staff are kind and professional. The food is divine, the pasta was delicious, the mushroom sauce was magnificent, the chicken was tender and flavorful. The ribs are to die for, they fall off the bone, and the bbq sauce is mouthwatering. Lastly the beef with veggies, beans, and rice, I don't remember the name but it was really good definitely recommend trying each dish with the family. 2024: the waiter was absolutely professional, stellar performance, guy was very chill, we had ordered the same pasta from two years ago and supposedly it had ham, however, none of the orders had any on there, they didn't mention they were out of ham. The lady at the souvenir section tried scamming us. beware y'all. Bring with you someone who knows what it's like over here.

The food is excellent and the servings are plentiful. I have been to many restaurants in the Romurosa and I have to put this place at the top of the list. The atmosphere was also excellent and our waitress Roxanna went out of her way, making sure we were well taken care of.

Food was delicious. Every plate had great flavor and the cafe de olla so far the best I’ve had. I went for breakfast with my family and we all agreed on the experience being great. We got 4 main plates and 4 cafes olla (with free refills) $52 dollars plus tip.

Stopped by here for brunch, we got the pork chops and Chilaquiles and mole Chilaquiles, we also got a cafe de ola and latte with irish cream, food was good chilaquiles had a kick to it and the coffee was nice and strong, service was also great.

The food reminded me of abuelita's cooking. Great flavors and presentation and I loved the traditional Talavera tableware. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. They even offered to reheat my plate when they saw that I had waited for my son to get his order before I started eating.

I got the chipotle chilaquiles and a piña colada they were delicious. Would come again.

This food is sooooo good! We got the Molcajete de Carnes to share and it’s the best! The flank steak, chicken, cheese, and cactus is sooo tasty. The staff are all kind and I can tell they care about their restaurant. The homemade tortillas are amazing too! I’d eat here again and again.

Service has always been good and the restrooms are spotless. Real close to great shopping opportunities and located on an easily walkable street.

We sat outside. The weather was pleasant. The service was very good. When we sat, we were given chips and salsa. Chips were nice and crisp. Salsa was flavorful and was not too spicy. We ordered fish tacos and they were delicious. When it came time to pay, we received our check in a timely manner and was able to pay quickly.

Great place to have fresh tortillas, lady is making them right outside the restaurant. Staff ready to help and to make you comfortable, provide shade and you are protected from traffic. Food is good and price is as expected in that area. Toilets are very clean! I recommend it!

This place has the worse customer service i had called beforehand to reserve and i asked for parking directions as soon as i got there their host took a while to approach us we were standing by the sign where it states wait to be seated finally she came up to us and said for how many and we said 3 adults 1 child she looked at us up and down and said they were full they had just reserved for 40 people and they couldnt take us in i was in disbelief we felt like it was how we looked discriminated they prefer to take in tourists that had arrived from their cruise ship never again.

Delightful food, I had never tried a chicken mole like that before, so much flavor. Also the chicken soup is just another thing. I will come back one day (we were visiting Mexico from Oakland). The service was very fast, but also polite since we arrived, the place has a very nice decoration and good music.

I came here for the first time in 2010, finally I came back a couple of weeks ago 10 years later, and I must say that it's one of the best Mexican restaurants in Rosarito. Very delicious and authentic Mexican food, at affordable prices. The variety on the breakfast and lunch menu is vast. They don't play around with portions here so you better come prepared. Drinks are vast too at good prices. The restaurant has this nice old-school colorful look in the inside so you get this cozy feeling. One thing though, is that you better bring money because no cards are allowed.

Decent prices, good service, great food, do not expect normal decaf (only soluble powder - big disappointment for a restaurant like this), also chilaquiles pollito (chick chilaquiles) doesn't have any chicken on it (kids menu), another disappointment. Also do not order birria here, the flavor is just lame.

First time here and let me say...the service was best service have had in a while...Alejandro Remi took care of us and was attentative to all tables as he was like a team captain. Never did we have to wait for service even waiters not waiting on us asked if we needed anything fine lube machine purring on all cylinders. My second review because this place really captures the hospitality of Baja! Thank you Eduardo for making an exception for me for breakfast after a day of too many tacos. My system just overloaded on the experience Baja offers. If anyone is looking for the best restaurant in the area, I have to say this is it. The brunch on Sunday was so delicious and I wish I could get another Watermelon Mango drink. Again, thank you Eduardo and all the wonderful staff for going above and beyond to help our visit be so unforgettable! We can’t wait to come back in November.

The place is nice, although going in the weekend there is a lot of people around the restaurant so the parking is really hard to find. The food was great, the parrillada was excellent very tasteful. The service is what I think brings it down a little, I was never taken the order of my drinks, stuff took a lot of time to get to the table and for some reason they always take the fork. The waitresses were never rude or disrespectful. The restaurant is self is pretty but I took away some points cause parking is really difficult to find and if you go with an elder person you may cause traffic cause you have to leave them near si you can find parking

Las Cazurlas is the best place to go for authentic Mexican food. We ate there every day for breakfast during our stay, it was that good and they had so many dishes to choose from. The portions are big, you get and empanada or por skin soup to start with and the coffee is on free pour if you order it. The staff are friendly and the service is good. We have very fond memories of this place and I definitely cannot wait to go back.

I'm torn by how to review this place. I really wanted to like it. They have a great menu, the atmosphere is old world from a bygone era. Don't read that as a bad thing, it definitely has a cool vibe. Old school sophistication. I ordered a margarita and quite honestly it was pretty weak. Meaning not strong. But there was this smell. I wasn't sure if it was bad or just weird. And I couldn't place it. I mentioned it to the waiter. He told me from where it was originating. I decided that I would leave and asked for the check. They were pretty slow that night, perhaps 3 other tables in total. Yet no one came with the bill. I finally decided to just leave. I left an ample amount of cash on the table...plenty to cover the drink and a sizable tip. I left and no one came after me. I really wanted to eat here, but I couldn't. Would I try it again in a couple of weeks? I would. I might have caught them on a bad night. I’m hoping that the owner reaches out to me.

Nice, clean and spacey restaurant. The flavor of the food was good. Service is fast and friendly. Like many other restaurants around here is not exactly traditional Mexican. The flavors are but the food not on its entire experience. There’s a lot of tourist in this town so they try to cook in a way that pleases tourist. We ordered chilaquiles, the sauce was flavorful but not spicy and it was loaded with maybe mozzarella cheese. Traditionally chilaquiles are served with queso fresco or cotija cheese and only scattered not covering the dish. Their jugo verde is very good and they serve fresh made corn tortillas with your meal. Before they bring your food they give you a starter, chicharrón con salsa or a quesadilla.

Second visit: server was more joyful and attentive and coffee service was good, until the establishment got full it took for ever to get our check so we just walked over to the cashier to pay. Right at the corner where all the people gather at night, this is by far one of my favorite places to eat. If you are looking for authentic mexican flavor and different types of food from sea food to tacos or a great steak. You should come and eat here. We went late I'm the night. And it was still very packed. We had to wait for somebody to take an order. But regardless you can sit inside or outside. And we sat outside. We ordered eggs, until you guys and fajitas of chicken. On a weekend you can find people passing by and singing for you. And the place is open 24 hours so you can go whenever you want and you can eat whatever you want.

We arrived on a rainy day and had to wait outside because our party of nine included two small children. After approximately 30 minutes, we observed from outside that a large table was available and clean. However, the server repeatedly informed us that the table was still dirty, and we needed to continue waiting outside in the rain. After reiterating that the table was clean for the third time, we were finally permitted to enter the establishment. We promptly placed our order, but the beverages were not delivered until 10-15 minutes later, which was not satisfactory. It appeared that friends of the owner/manager were receiving prompt attention, while our table was neglected. We were informed that our food would take 50 minutes to be prepared, so we made the decision to leave. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend visiting this establishment on a weekend or when the manager's friends are present. It is easy to identify these individuals, as the manager will be seen greeting them and promptly delivering their food. Look for another place and avoid such a disappointment

Great place in downtown Ensenada. Great waffles and coffee. Clean, warm and welcoming owners. Antonio offered us advice on a great restaurant out in Valley de Guadalupe - which we also loved. What a lovely place, and such unique ideas for waffles! It is pricier than old menus declare, but well worth the experience. I wish we had one of these at home as it would be fun to try all the flavors! My husband and I (with our dog!) joined at brunch time on a weekday, and it was packed, but we were immediately seated. The waffles are delicious, with a soft and chewy base that isn't too sweet. I loved the veggie waffle, and paired it with tomato sauce so it was like a pizza. My husband got the Colado and it was a coconut lovers dream. We also shared a Nutella shake, which was super yummy. The server looked after us very well. It was easy to talk to and hear each other, even with all of the families around us. It's definitely a place that's worth more than one stop! I especially appreciate their animal friendliness.

Normally I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican versions of food that I love from back home, like waffles (normal Mexican food is better anyway.) But Holy Sh*t, putting the chorizo, onions, and peppers in the batter of the waffle was amazing. And the chipotle dressing was great too. I'll for sure be back.

He is also known to help locals out that cannot afford food themselves Much better meat quality and flavor than the places that are close to him. It’s always my goto and has been consistent ! Great selection of snacks and sauces when you order as well! DEFINALY try the breaded fish tacos ! My favorite there !!!!

The hazelnut cappuccino was amazing. Their pastry, bread and treats are a huge temptation. Come early and you will find a seat if not just take you it to go and walk down the street. On the weekends is better if you come early for your bread and expect some waiting.

Since the first time we found this place, we like to stop by to get their super yummy granola and delicious pastries. My favorite is the tiramisu, but I also like the fruit tarts. My hubby likes the cheesecake and the lemon tarts. If I get my cappuccino early in the morning, I like to get a croissant to pair it with. They did went a little heavy on the crust this time, but the flavor was very good.

I am DELIGHTED to find a place that serves real greens! Spinach salad for the "verduras" side salad that is usually iceberg lettuce in other places. And it was so good. The veggie panini was amazing, too! I couldn't believe they used steamed greens in it! Sooo delicious! Portions weren't huge, and it was on the more expensive side, but 100% worth it for the quality ingredients and healthy-deliciousness!

I had just returned to Ensenada from Europe and was missing that wonderful bread there. I went to Hogaza Hogaza with that in mind and got an Excellent Baguette as good if not better than those I had in Paris and the Sourdough is also great. One added plus was I come looking for Focaccia and they also had that. It's what they use to make sandwiches. 3 locations and the best bakery in Ensenada

The best tiramisu in town!!!!!! A must visit just for this. We are one there and had to buy another one to go since it was that good! Tiramisu is super moist and the lady finger is so soft and yummy. I would come back here just for the tiramisu in a heartbeat.

The chilaquiles in chipotle sauce were good, the meat was mid. They make the bread in the restaurant so is fresh. They give you a choice of enpanada de carne or chicharron con chile verde as your -on the house- starter. We sat outside which we love so its bound to have some bugs and birdies. As you can see there was a big spiderweb and then the spider came out which was scary but it was just doing what nature does. It's a good place to eat. They have many options. Service could be better but they're nice.

The food was okay, the steak was pretty thin and didn't even have a lot of flavor to it, and the refried beans were really bland. The sauce for the garlic mushrooms was good but it honestly tastes like the mushrooms came out of a can. Honestly I ate it I didn't hate it so I can't complain. It wasn't terrible it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I highly recommend this place. Fresh food, great atmosphere, and wonderful experience. The food was first class. This isn't the cheapest restaurant and will set you back $15-$50 U.S. per person, but it is totally worth it. The best thing on the menus from what I tasted was the shrimp tacos.

The food & service is here great. This was my first time here this morning for breakfast. Everything was good,they give you plenty of food, & best of all not too pricey. It's a tad fancy inside but good enough for anyone to come. I'd definitely come back again to try more!

Breakfast is not bad, I just would put it on top of my to go list. Service is good, waiters are polite and respectful and always attentive. What I do have to say about food is that portions are big so if you are really hungry you'll have no problem. We loved it. I don't know if they are under new management or what, after looking at previous reviews. The wait staff is probably the most efficient I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. The food was amazing. Probably my new favorite breakfast spot on Ensenada.

We were staying at the hotel next door and decided to have dinner here as recommended from one of our friends. However they said it was years ago. The place tries really hard to give you a vibe like you are in a high end exclusive restaurant. The food turned up to be horrible, even the pasta my kids ordered was tasteless. When we spoke with the waiter about our experience he called the manager and the manager only said that there was nothing wrong with our meals and it was just that we didn't like it. 6 meals on the table were left almost intact as the food was not even good enough to try to eat. Worst over US$100 ever spent. We should have better off eat from a street vendors Stay away, consider yourself warn

Excellent place for breakfast with a very homey atmosphere, homemade dishes and large portions, excellent service, and reasonable prices, from 200 to 300 pesos per person. It's recommended to arrive early because it gets busy.

Ok this is my first time here everything was great I'll be holding the next star for when I come back and pay more attention I wasn't feeling very well at the moment so 😔 But as soon as I get a chance I'll Be Back 😎

We enjoy this restaurant's family atmosphere and authentic local food. The service was excellent. The people were friendly and attentive to our needs. The menu has a large variety of options to meet everyone's tastes. Go early to avoid the wait that starts around 10:00. Nice playground for kids and covered outside patio for picnic style seating. I had chorizo and scrambled eggs with beans and tortillas. I don't usually eat beans but these were delicious and disappeared from my plate😋

I've eaten here many times. It's gone down in quality. The food was only fair. I ate less than half and pushed my plate away in disgust. Somehow they thought making enchiladas should be done with cotija cheese...like only cotija. It was terrible. I asked for a little bit of onion "muy poquito" and it was stuffed with tons of onions. It was an onion and cotija enchilada. I’m sorry but it was gross. The waitress was super rude. But that said, the place is clean and the patio has a nice vibe...but I won't eat here again. They earned this review.

My wide and I spent the night in Ensenada and before returning to the US we decided to try and find a restaurante in Valle de Guadalupe that would serve breakfast. We found Correcaminos by the side of the highway and am glad we did. We had traditional huevos rancheros and machaca con huevo plates and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh. Service was top notch. We will be back when in the area

Always a spot to stop by for breakfast!!! Great customer service try the chiles rellenos and green enchiladas. their tortillas and salsas are good. wednesdays, they are closed.

Authentic home-made mexican food. Cafe de olla was delicious!!!! Freshly had made flour tortillas. I highly recommend you try machaca con huevo. It is a family own modest restaurant with delicious food.

The chilaquiles con birria I had was good, but they told me 15 minutes wait for the upstairs area to be ready. Then 20 minutes later they asked me to sit at the "bar" and order because there would be a table for me by the time the food was ready. My food came and they said the upstairs was a big mess and still not ready. And since there were no empty tables I got stuck at the "bar". Uncomfortable. 😐

A wonderful experience with patient and helpful service along with great food. Our waiter spoke some English which was of great help to our group. I would highly recommend the french toast and the chilaquiles, both of which were scrumptious. Pricing was adequate for the food and location. If you're looking for brunch in Ensenada, this is the place!

Excelente Steak and eggs!

Coffee was terrible! Old, bad tasting, no sugar, no spoon, no milk or cream. The omelet was ok, but the beans were cold. Servers were on their cells or talking among themselves and not paying attention. Had to ask three times for cutlery. The place is nice and clean. Disappointing experience.

I liked the place. Fancy and original. The menu is limited. The sweet bread is wonderful and delicious. The plates are salty for my tasting. I'm sure gourmet plates shouldn't be salty. That's the reason why I'm giving 3 stars and they compete with gourmet restaurants because of prices.
