I had pretty good experience in this restaurant in Bremen so I decided to choose the same when I was in Oberhausen. this restaurant has the same design and so on. interiors are not bad, there is a lot of place there, very good toilets. food was good, prices were reasonable. there are though couple of flaws: portion of asparagus was quite small, mashed potato was made from powder. the service was a bit slow, probably because the restaurant slowly became crowded. we also ordered free coffee using coupons from the app, and firstly waiter told us we cannot use two apps. but this problem was quickly solved

We chose the Ash for a family lunch after visiting a nearby Lego experience. While the initial impression was pleasant, it quickly took a dive down. We all ordered burgers and were excited to try them. It took more than an hour to get the burgers delivered to our table. No explanation or excuse was given as to why the service was so slow. We specifically asked for the burgers to be cooked at medium rare, unfortunately they all came extremely well done. I would accept this at a random place but I thought the steakhouse would know the cooking time better. Complaining about it and waiting another hour seemed pointless. My truffle burger has zero taste of truffle and barely any smell. The burger' condiments and the fries were top notch though, which makes this seem like an unfortunate oversight to what otherwise could have been a great experience.

Staff is very friendly and polite. We had a baby with us and they were very helpful with our demands! Ordered medium tenderloin and it was as tender as the name suggests, very well made. Once I and family got there, our table was reserved, however, we have to move the table one time without providing a clear reason. Afterward, the service is not that smooth, I think it is because of new staff. The steak menu was good and easy to order. The chef cooks it right as I wish.Nonetheless, my rumpsteak was not my cup of tea, nice aroma but still too chewy for me. The side dish was good. The atmosphere is modern and cool with fire or ash decoration. The toilet is not that clean. The car park here is easy and convenient.

Had dinner on a very busy December night. The location is very close to Westfield CentrO complex. Despite not having reservations, we were seated quickly (30 mins). The waitress was very good, gave solid recommendations and was attentive to our requirements. Our party had their reservations about the restaurant, we wanted a local good German meal , not an American style Steakhouse - however, Ash delivered on very good food and beat our expectations. The dry age steak was tender and tasty, while the large flank steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and full of flavor. The American style curly fries featured theater style nacho cheese - exactly what you would expect. The location was very busy, by not too loud and our table could have a conversation without yelling. Our per person cost was around 75 euro a person including tip. We did have coffee and drinks, but no dessert. Overall, I would definitely go back, if I was in the area.

The soups are the best on the menu and the most "not-east European guests friendly" by their taste. The rest of the dishes are somehow special, but worth trying. Not many Polish restaurant options in the area, so this is a good one if you want to check for their cuisine. The staff is friendly, speaks Polish and English. The atmosphere is quite cool with interesting posters around the place and other furniture that adds to it.

This Restaurant wants to be special, however it is not. Me and my husband experiencing a very unfriendly and unwelcome atmosphere since the first we step on the place. It was a young bartender who asked in such an unpolite manner to us, esp. to me. He told us to wait till other waitress to come, however, when after 5 minutes we've been waited, finally the waitress came, instead of bring us to the table, she just asked do we have a reservation, then we answered no we don't have, instead of explaining us furthermore or bring us to the table, she just speak with the young unfriendly bartender and do other stuff leaving us standing there without further information. We've been to many others high end restaurants in other countries and this restaurant wish to be high end restaurant but their service is absolutely horrendous! It's not worth then I decided to leave.

The first meeting with Restaurant Ganska and I was really impressed with this place. The beer was delicious, the soup was very good, the main course could be improved; the salad and roulade are delicious, but the "kluski slaskie" is a shame, it's not bad and I will definitely come back.

The place was ok, unfortunetlly the food was only partially polish and huge minus for frozen pierogi - as this is one of the most traditional polish food it should be not offer at all if it is frozen branded and not the best one. Schabowy and rolada were good, portion big enough to not be hungry after for a while. Waitress were super nice!

We ate 3 types of stakes & a grilled fish. All was tasty & well prepared & served. The waiter made us feel like we are visiting him personally at his home. The portions of salad and potatoes are on a smaller side - but it gives off a gourmet vibe. Overall pleasant experience.

First time here but it won't be the last. Yes the place is a bit crowded but that's only because it's an AA++ location. The food (steak in my case) was very very good. One of the better steaks I had in a long time. Would surely recommend this place to anyone visiting CentrO.

Visited this restaurant today (30 may 2025) and i have to say that reading all the reviews here about the food and place that i cant really say anything really like this. We ordered both the "jagerschnitzel" and for afterwards seeing the price it was more than ok. If the price would had been more for this smaller portion then it would be bad. From taste i can say it was pretty good just like a schnitzel should be. So for me a 4 star review. Maybe we were lucky during this visit, let's see during my next visit(s).

getting a shisha in here in (obausen konig centro) however, i was intering into the restorant with my family having an old drink from starbucks (not finished) however , one of the workers came a start shouting because of my coffee on the table. Anyway, the shisha and the drink was good but the attitude wasn’t by any way acceptable (always there is a way to say the instructions politely) I don’t thank I would return back again .

The place is standard, but there is not a lot of party. And if you need water, they deny it. Not a special place and quite boring.

Called in just for a couple of drinks, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the beer was good. Although we didn't have anything to eat the good being served to others looked lovely and we would happily give it a try next time we are in the area.

The evening time was a little bit crowded, so we had to we some time for the waitress. The interior is nice, but we were smell the smoke from outside, what was a little bit disturbing. Breakfast buffet is okay for its price but our experience in the evening was horrible. We were sitting at our table for more than 20 minutes without any service staff coming by. Even after asking at the bar nobody could get us anything to drink - not the one constantly standing behind the bar and not the two walking around without anything to do. We had some burgers and drinks here. My wife had the Mango Tango chicken burger and I had the HÜTTENFREUDE beef burger both as a lunch set which includes a cold drink, French fries or salad and then a hot drink or frozen yoghurt. The burgers, fries and drinks were great. The waiter was very nice. We didn’t much like the seating since we were super tired and would have loved some back support from a chair instead of the benches we had.

I highly recommend the Homebar because the food quality is for those who want breakfast just like they are in their home. The menu looked impressive. I got served within 20 minutes. There is an outdoor sitting area where you can enjoy your breakfast as the morning sunshine streaks through.

Great place for good food! It's not on the cheap side, but they've got a great selection of homemade lemonades and iced teas as well as a great range of foods for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers alike. It's all well made and was really really nice! The only thing that isn't great is the acoustics of the place and the fact that they have the music on quite loud. It's really loud and hard to have a relaxed conversation because of it. In the summer it's a bit better, though, as they have a really nice patio area and the noise isn't that bad out there, so that's what I recommend. Some of the chairs outside aren't very curvy people friendly, as they have these sides that dog into your bum a bit. There are other seating options though, but it's something that annoys me a bit sometimes. All in all, it's a great place to get some yummy food or grab a couple of fancy cocktails with friends. They also offer a great brunch/breakfast buffett, but you need to reserve in advance as it's always quite full. (Good places usually are.😉)
