Pub

Holy Grail Pub, located in Plano, TX, is a laid-back establishment known for its extensive selection of over 150 beers, including craft brews. The pub also offers a scratch kitchen serving mouthwatering dishes made with high-quality ingredients. In addition to their impressive beer menu, Holy Grail Pub boasts an equally remarkable whiskey selection and unique cocktails. The cozy ambiance draws inspiration from centuries-old European gathering spots and features dark wood and old-world accents.
Good place great vibe. Busy restaurant for sure we just need to show a little hospitality to new guests that want to experience Holy Grail. Other than, I will definitely be back. Everyone needs to experience the espresso cheesecake.

I have LOVED this place in the past…not anymore. Their food used to be the best around. I went last night and got the Brussel sprouts and they came out charred on the outside and undercooked on the inside. They were so hard to chew. I talked to my server about how much I loved the dish usually, but they just needed to be cooked on the inside a bit more. She was so kind, took them back, and then came back with what you see in the picture. They burned the crap out of them… they didn’t even put the pecans on the second batch.. just threw them on a plate and sent them out. The insides were still not cooked. I wonder if they got a new chef and they just don’t know how to cook Brussel sprouts? Regardless, it was a slap to the face. The server said that he manager tried it and said “with the sauce, it’s okay”. Really?! I have been here dozens of times and never gotten this type of service or bad food. It has been around a year since I last went there because I moved further away. It has clearly declined in all categories.

This place is a hidden gem! I loved the atmosphere, the lighting, and the simple yet inviting ambiance. The service was quick and friendly, and the drinks were top-notch. I especially enjoyed the green tea shot—my favorite—which was made perfectly. There’s a great variety of beers, both mild and strong, all superb. The cocktails were impressive as well. However, the food needs improvement; I didn’t enjoy it much. That said, the high-quality drinks, well-mixed cocktails, and a cool, decent crowd make this spot a great hangout, with tables usually available anytime.

You have to go here! We had a really pleasant time here, chilling out, chatting and having dinner! Hose was our 1st bartender, and has great energy, very outgoing, professional, attentive. Thanks, Holy Grail Pub! We will be back! Also, will update photos to accuracy 💯

We celebrated Father’s Day here for lunch with our Family. I ordered the Holy Grail Burger and Wifey got the Fish and Chips. Food is fresh and delicious. Serving portions are small. Serving Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean and nice medieval decor. Lots of parking.
ANTONIO P — Google review
I don't know why places here think it's acceptable to sell chicken nuggets and call them tenders/wings for an absurd price. $10 for worlds smallest wings. Buffalo wild Wings was also bad about calling their "tenders" when they were a little bigger than Mcnuggets. Drinks were good, don't get the wings
Andres S — Google review
Classic pub atmosphere with better than average food. Good pours and friendly service on a consistent basis. Absolutely worth a try!

Omg! This was a surprise. So cool inside with the details! Staff was great, had excellent recommendations. We recommend the Stiegl Grapefruit Radler that had such a light fruity flavor. Also the Fried Goat Cheese & Pub style Fish and Chips are excellent choices.

The Fillmore Pub is a charming British-style pub located in historic downtown Plano, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The pub features a wide selection of UK-label beers and delicious bar grub, making it one of the best bars in the area. With its warm wood-lined space, this relaxed venue is perfect for unwinding after a long day.
One of the great pubs in Plano. Amazing beer selection, great food, very friendly staff, and amazing atmosphere. Seating inside and out. This is one of my favorite true pubs in the area. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was outstanding. Friends had the burgers and loved them. Chips and Queso were very good! Never disappoints. We really enjoyed our visit again. Highly recommend!

Sarah was great she recommended the Roast Beast sandwich for $13 which tbh I wouldn’t have ordered but it was a perfect French dip! Not too big, just enough cheese and a great au jus. The parm fries are a $5.50 up charge but worth it! They came with an aoli which was lovely. My mom had the lunch half Reuben delish and the half beef stew for only ten bucks! She suffered no upcharges. Her vodka tonic was only $6.50.

Such a great find in Downtown Plano! The Fillmore Pub has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a good mix of classic pub energy and modern comfort. They’ve got a great selection of drinks, and the food menu is solid. I tried one of their house specials and was not disappointed — great flavors and portion size. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Perfect place to hang out with friends, grab a pint, and enjoy the downtown scene. Excited to see how this new spot grows!

So nice we tried it twice. Visited the Filmore after getting into the area for a business trip. Did not knock anything about Plano or where to go but pictures online gave off a nice vibe. Enjoyed the large bar with plenty of seating and liked the spacious interior. It was pretty slow on a Monday evening but I can tell the spot would be fun for trivia live music and sports which it looked like all were scheduled. I loved that there were folks playing board games in the booths. Overall it gives a lived-in vibe inside and a nice pub feel from the outside. Service from the bartenders was fine, strikes me as a place where being a regular probably makes a difference. I enjoyed a local red ale and a sour both nicely temped from the tap. I also got the curry. Good price for the amount of food I had plenty left for breakfast. It smells amazing coming out to. Just beware it is pretty spicy even if you pick of the fresh jalapenos. The area it's in is very walkable with convenient street parking and several lots nearby. Definitely a good spot to stop in if you are doing a little bar hopping. A few days later I came back in and enjoyed a beer on the very nice patio with excellent table service. Overall I really liked the Fillmore and if I lived in the area I feel like I'd find myself here weekly. As it is, next trip in I'll be stopping by.

Great little pub. Small but nice draft selection. Way better than necessary mixology. Brunch was great— thin crispy hash browns, the sausage gravy was wonderful too. Breakfast burger really hit the spot!

The, Bonitos Reposado Tequila, tasted great. The chips and salsa tasted delicious. Tonight was a slow night, so it was quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place!

I can’t say enough good things! The summer salad- refreshing and the grilled chicken, WOW! Usually when i get grilled chicken on a salad i almost expect it to be dry and unseasoned now but this place, they pleasantly surprised me with juicy, delicious perfectly seasoned grilled chicken. The chicken sliders were just as juicy and perfectly crafted. The Downtown smash burger, holy cow. The sauce was memorable and it was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was personable and gave us some recommendations around town that we are looking forward to. She also gave us some great beer recommendations. The variety of beer options was something i really appreciated since ambers are my favorite and they are not the most popular type of beer. All around awesome place!

First time in, looking for a new watering hole. I'm digging it. Great old pub feel, old wood look, the very look you're hoping for in a "pub". Sat at the bar and asked for some recommendations. Ordered the Chicken Sliders and Chips, and was very happy with the recommendation. Great taste and well portioned. Huge selection of spirits for all discriminating tastes. Crowd was was laid back and seemed like a great local/neighborhood feel. Good for social gatherings and dates. Ben and Jessica (over there/ over here) were both very friendly and made me feel welcomed. Definitely will be coming back often.

Vickery Park Plano is a laid-back American restaurant and bar located in historic Downtown Plano. It's a popular spot for locals to unwind with craft brews, spirits, and wine while enjoying traditional bar games like shuffleboard. The cozy establishment offers top-notch dishes and a separate lounge area with games in the back. Whether you're looking for a casual after-work hangout or a weekend brunch spot, Vickery Park has you covered with its large bar menu and pub fares.
Located in Historic Downtown Plano, Vickery Park is a fun spot to grab a bite to eat. I had the Brisket Sandwich and fries on a weekday for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Sandwich had Kahlua cream sauce, gouda, and mozzarella cheese with a honey bun. I'm a huge fan of brisket sandwiches and this did not disappoint. The sauce and bun set it apart from any other brisket sandwich I've ever had. It was SO good! Fries were delicious as well. It's not fancy inside and the cushioned seating covers need to be replaced. Felt a little grimy to me. But the food absolutely made up for it. I'll absolutely be back and highly recommend checking it out!

This place does brunch?! And it was pretty good… Eggs Benedict was great, hash browns are great. Biscuits and gravy were great. Wife would only share a bite, so I’ll be adding a satellite serving next time. Prices are great, service was good, we will probably be back.

The grilled chicken sandwich was 10/10! Chicken was juicy and not dry, the bacon was really good. Had good priced mimosas too! 4 stars only because the first glass they gave me had lipstick on it but they gave me a new one without hesitation.. I will be back!

Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic food and fantastic service. Stephanie is a GEM and so attentive, kind, personable and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend stopping in here as they also have great local brews on draft. Can’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back!

Decided to grab lunch here with some friends earlier today...pretty unassuming from the street, but once you get inside - oh boy! Spacious and clean with a warm atmosphere. There were eight of us, and we were able easily seat ourselves. We didn't have to wait very long for the barkeep to visit and serve drinks and distribute the menus. The menu is not complex, and it has some interesting "build your own Mac and cheese/grilled cheese/pizza" options with a ton of different toppings. I did grilled cheese with brisket and portabella mushrooms (it was great). There are also some main menu items including brisket burger, grilled chicken sandwich, or salmon. Plenty of sides to choose from and a full bar. There is a large back room for hanging out or playing darts or shuffleboard or Fooze ball. There are plenty of TVs in case you are there to catch a game. Overall, everybody that I was with enjoyed their meals - including my buddy who is a brisket critic. The meal portions were spot on. I felt satisfied and not sick from the amount that I ate. This is not a destination for people with gluten sensitivities, but if you are gluten free then you can make something work...probably a salad or something similar. If I lived closer to the restaurant then I would certainly go back and sample more of the menu. If I am in the area again then I will probably stop in for a drink and maybe something more. Last thing, the restaurant is located in a neat part of historic downtown Plano, so there are many nearby things to do or stores to poke your head into.

This Tavern is such a gem! Love all the art for sale the cream of jalapeño soup is 10/10! So freaking good! Brunch specials are amazing too. The mussels…oh my goodness the mussels are incredible! This place makes me want to move closer to Plano 😩💚
Kenitres W — Google review
Awesome food…brunch for us…super server, and my margarita was tall and perfect. We started with Hummus and its sides. The hummus was so good…a delicate taste went well with the veggies and pita bread. The four of us had only two plates, plus some extra. Two Eggs Benedict (Florentine)…I had both hash browns and the fresh fruit…and two Belgium Waffles with one side of sausage and another one had a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit. The price for all this food and my margarita, two coffees, and pineapple juice was a surprise to me. We will be going back, especially on $4 tacos on Taco Tuesdays.

Celebrated our 25th year celebration with friends. But when it was just me and the wife, we looked for something a little dressed down. SURPRISE, we found Vickery Park in down town Plano. WOW. We met the most attentive, good conversationalist bar tender Justin. He spoke highly about the market fresh food and how everything is made from scratch. He was RIGHT. OMG, you gotta eat here! Their bar is amazing, prices and specials are perfect. This is a place we will come back to over and over again. I cannot recommend this place enough. The establishment has hidden parking in the rear. Inside the building runs narrow but they have foosball, couple TV's and a shuffle board... The place is dimly lit. Across the street is the pavilion, train tracks and farmers market. Great place to go.

A big menu of out-of-the-ordinary beers is on tap at this sports-focused pub in a shopping complex.
One of my old time favorite pubs. Kayla served us tonight and she did a fantastic job. She is very personable and pleasant. You must try the pretzels.

Fantastic local spot. The type of place where the bartenders and people at the bar know your name. Drinks are great, and they’re doing some cool renovations to the place. I’ll be here just about every weekend. Enjoy responsibly!
Will T — Google review
The disappointment continues. Tried to go on a Thursday to Bottle rockets at 10:15 and order food. They were not serving food. It was suggested by the waitress to go to Ringo's because it was the same owners and they would have food. We waited 20 minutes. The only person who appeared to be there was one bartender who did not acknowledge our group of 8 to be able to answer a question. There were about 10 to 15 people in the bar and she appeared to be overwhelmed. Two fails in one night by the same owners.
MrMatthewYoung — Google review
If you know what you are getting I think this place is alright. I have never once had a good experience with any of the bartenders and that's part of the charm. I know when I go in I will be greeted by an angry bartender and get a drink that doesn't taste great but is cheap by Plano standards. Last time I ordered a Pizza I waited over 45 minutes before asking again about it, they said it was almost done, it came out minutes later ice cold. It had definitely been left in the back after being done and was just forgotten. I regrettably still ate it and felt sick later that night. Its never clean and the food is not recommended. But if you want a "dive bar" experience this is pretty close. I go here to play darts and have my drink be stuck to the dirty tables. Its always uncomfortably warm and humid even if its cold outside. Keep your expectations low and you will love it. If you know what to expect it can be a good time.

I am so impressed by the caliber of Ringos employees. Madison went out of her way to return my glasses and Lisa had the upmost professionalism when I called. Integrity was definitely displayed by these two employees!!!! Grateful for the service

The bartenders were on point! Very attentive service & quick with orders. Made the experience for me. Drinks were solid, and the atmosphere was good! Would gladly return and watch a game here, hang out with friends, or add it to the list of bars to hop.

I came here tonight and ordered fish and chips. After 20 minutes of waiting, I was told they don't have them on the menu anymore. There's no kitchen. This would have saved me a trip if their online menu was updated.

New American restaurant
Gastropub
Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, located in Plano just north of Dallas, is a trendy spot with an industrial vibe that offers a diverse menu of New American cuisine and an extensive whiskey cocktail selection. The venue prides itself on serving farm-to-kitchen dishes and drinks, with most entrees slow-cooked on a live wood grill or smoker. The menu features updated bar staples, exotic snacks, diverse salads, and various entrees.
My husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner. We had heard great things about Whiskey Cake and they did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the service was awesome and the atmosphere was perfect. We definitely will be back!

I had brunch with a friend and we tried multiple dishes. The food was okay. I am not a fan of spicy foods and everything seemed to be spicy. I was not expecting the chicken apple sausage to be spicy, either. I got the Farmer's breakfast with scrambled eggs. The eggs were only partially cooked, too. I liked the short stacks with the strawberry whipped butter and lemon shortbread crumble, though. I had to flag down my waitress as she forgot the syrup for them.
Amber S — Google review
Food - Started with the candied bacon ... it was amazing. Great smokey flavor, a bit of sweetness along with the BBQ aioli made this a great start to our meal. We shared the Chicken and Waffle since dessert would be filling. This chicken was flavorful, and the waffle had a wonderful vanilla flavor. Used the maple syrup and gravy as dipping options which added the right amount of extra flavor. I also asked for the hot honey BBQ which is made in house. It was so good I bought some to bring home. Lastly, dessert. It was suggested to come here not only for the wide range of whiskey, but for the dessert. Glad we shared this slice as it was massive and over the top with flavor. It came with homemade whipped cream which they made fresh right before serving to us. Service - Kayla was our server - my opinion, ask for her section if you can. She was amazing, pleasant, thoughtful, courteous, funny and great to talk with! Absolutely 5 star service. Wishing her all the best. We also had an opportunity to talk with the manager, Madison. She actually brought out the cake and fresh whipped topping. She stuck around and talked with us a bit which was great. Madison you have a great crew, from the servers to the cooks, everything was amazing! Restaurant - The interior decor is very fitting for what the restaurant offers. The floors were clean, tables were not sticky, and the restrooms were in top shape. Even with it being a weekend night, the restaurant was well maintained. Overall - Our suggestion would be to put this on your radar. Whiskey flights are an option which allowed me to try some bottles that have been on my need to try list. Save room for dessert, or better yet start with dessert, then determine how hungry you might be. We will be coming back here on our next visit to Plano, as there are quite a few options on the menu that I need to try.

Overall, this is not a bad spot at all to grab a bite & kickback with the fam. The rustic vibe is inviting & the service was great! Drinks were solid, with a good dose of alcohol (grabbed the American Pie). Rooster Royale was awesome, as well as the fries!! My kids had the chicken tenders & my wife had the chicken & waffles. The chicken tenders here are underrated & should probably start getting some more love from the restaurant. I couldn’t keep my hands off my kids’ and wife’s plates! Their Mac & cheese, however, was very underwhelming. Perhaps that was their biggest miss for me on this visit. My family also got their famous whiskey cake, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Personally, I found the whiskey cake dry and lacking, but I’m also not a cake guy, more of an ice cream fan. All in all, this is a spot I look forward to returning to, as I am interested in checking out the rest of the items on their menu! Go check it out!
Jay S — Google review
Let me start by saying, God bless whoever hired and trained the waitstaff! They were extremely friendly, professional, respectful, and truly excellent at what they do. I dine out often, in different states and even at high-end restaurants, and their service was truly outstanding. The food quality, however, was just okay. The crab fritters we ordered as an appetizer were delicious, but the burger I got was burned on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Despite that, the amazing hospitality made me forget about the food quality. The whiskey cake was decent, though I wish they offered more dessert options but I understand they probably want guests to try their signature cake. Overall, the experience was okay, and the staff’s exceptional service really stood out.
Israa — Google review
Loved the atmosphere and staff. Dominque the bartender was friendly and nice. The food was not amazing. Steak only grilled on one side and the other side looked like boiled meat. Chimmichurri could have been chopped better. Did not enjoy the fries. Felt they needed additional crispiness. The crab fritters were underwhelming and should not have that much cheese. Nice sauce though. Parking was easy. I would return for drinks. The old fashioned was amazing.

A great restaurant. High quality food and drinks and yes whiskey cake dessert . Atmospheric and pleasant to spend time to eat or have drinks or meetings . Has a wide selection of drinks and cocktails and American and Scottish bourbon and whiskey . We had steak Frites , burger and salad and Brussels sprouts and rye bourbon and Cocktails. Great service also .

Whiskey Cake in Plano continues to impress. The Prime Rib and Gouda Stack was an absolute showstopper—tender, juicy beef layered with smoky gouda in a way that hits every note of comfort and indulgence. The rotating seasonal menu keeps things exciting, and our server’s thoughtful walk-through of the new dishes made the experience even better. Of course, the meal wouldn’t be complete without their namesake Whiskey Cake—moist, decadent, and unapologetically rich. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you plan for an extra workout the next morning, and it’s always worth it. Whiskey Cake remains a must-visit for anyone who loves food crafted with creativity and care.

Legacy Hall is a cutting-edge culinary and entertainment destination in Texas, offering a diverse range of dining options from over 20 artisanal food stalls, full-service bars, an on-site craft brewery, beer garden, and live music stage. This innovative space allows families and friends to come together to savor the freshest local ingredients prepared by talented local chefs and artisans. With indoor and outdoor restaurants, bars, patios with outdoor seating across three floors, Legacy Hall provides an unforgettable experience for visitors.
If you’re not sure what you’re in the mood to eat, Legacy Hall has you covered with a variety of options all under one roof. It’s perfect for groups, date nights, or spontaneous foodie missions. Families with small children will especially love it—kids can burn off energy on the outdoor patio while parents get a small taste of nightlife. The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly, with multiple bars and a phenomenal patio space when the weather cooperates. It’s the kind of spot that works for almost any occasion. The hibachi grill is 🔥💯; I ❤️ the fried rice - hibachi sauce with steak & shrimp add the yum yum sauce. Roots also has phenomenal banana pudding. Unfortunately during a recent visit - I’m giving legacy hall a 2- star rating due to the service at the bar. I was hoping to try something new and asked what options were available beyond my usual go-to. The bartender listed on my receipt responded with what I can only describe as passive-aggressive energy. No effort was made to upsell or even offer a drink menu. What could’ve been a fun, exploratory experience turned into an uncomfortable one. Unfriendly and seemingly biased service like this can really take away from an otherwise great venue.

I can't report on the food as I didn't eat there due to my allergies, but I wasn't there for food anyway. I was there for the last performance by tribute band Forever Mac! They were amazing, and Legacy Hall's sound production was incredible. I can definitely recommend the live music!

Have been here before but never for a Music event. We came to see the Chris Stapleton tribute and it was awesome. We enjoyed their music, the set up, the food options and how organized it was. I just mention we paid for a table and there seemed to be some people that were just I. The area and stayed., we literally had a family dancing around with their kids right in front t of us (not in the dancing area). We missed a good part of the initial intro of the concert 🎶 Eventually they weren’t anywhere to be seen so it made us think they just were hanging out without admission. After that their whole experience was great. We really enjoyed the whole event. Will definitely return.

Legacy Hall in Texas is straight-up a foodie paradise with main character energy — like, imagine a place where your indecisive self can grab gourmet tacos, truffle fries, and craft beer *all at once* without judgment. The vibes are top-tier: live music floating through the air, rooftop seating that hits different when the sun sets, and a crowd that’s just the right mix of chill and fun. Whether you're on a casual date, third-wheeling your friends, or just there for the vibes and vibes only, this spot delivers every time. It’s giving “weekend plans sorted” energy — and honestly, I’m already planning my next trip back.

Legacy West gets a four-star rating from me. It's a cool, trendy place with the best restaurants, offering amazing food of all types. My only issue is that it has basically little to no seating, which can be a hassle. Despite that, it's still a fantastic spot to enjoy great meals and a lively atmosphere. 4 stars!

Legacy Hall is known for their fun events! They really go all out. I went to their Mardi Gras celebration and it was a total blast! Live music which was so amazing, face painting for the kids, lots of great food choices and just a great vibe.

Foodie Heaven with Live Vibes 🎶🌮 Tried Velvet Taco, Vegan Vibrationz, and Chilangos Tacos—and every bite delivered! The place has an amazing atmosphere, with tons of food options no matter the time of day. Big win? Order with a QR code and they bring your food to your table! Tables were cleaned quickly, and the staff kept everything running smooth. The outdoor area had live music, and the indoor space is super kid-friendly with plenty of room. Trendy, family-friendly, and full of flavor—definitely coming back to explore more stalls!

We spent here a very good time during a Elthon John tribute. The guys who were performing here were amazing. They made all people to be singing despite the rain menace. A very nice show. A very good moment with family. We bought tickets in advance and it was easy and fast. There are other tributes planed during the year. You should come and enjoy this high quality musical shows.

Urban Crust is a lively multilevel wood-fired pizzeria located in a historic building in Plano. It features a vibrant rooftop ice bar and offers a memorable dining experience with its friendly staff, particularly standout manager Derrick. The menu boasts authentic Mediterranean cuisine, including brick oven bread, olive tapenade, Caprese salad, blue cheese fries, Tuscan cold cuts, truffle-topped carpaccios, Caesar salads, and Texan-influenced Cowboy ribeye.
We've been going to Urban Crust for years. The wood fired pizza is always excellent and well as the appetizers and service. They always start us with free bread which is served with a side of olive tapenade and a tomato sauce. The olive tapenade on bread is excellent. Today we followed that with Wood Fired Bocconcini Mushrooms which are a must for mushroom and truffle lovers. You can't go wrong with the pizza. We've always built our own. There wood fired build your own pizza is unique in that it's not first covered with tomato sauce first. Instead, I believe, they cover the crust with olive oil then add the fresh toppings. Today we added Italian Sausage (which is from Tony's in Dallas) as well as peperoni and olives. The 12" pizza was plenty for the two of us. Pizza isn't a household staple, but when we do want pizza, Urban Crust is an easy decision.

The food was fresh and delicious!! The staff did a great job with our 10-person group. Food came out quick and the flavors were on point. Make sure to check out the seasonal menu. The summer salad was so satisfying

Nice. The bread and dipping sauces were enough to come back! The pizzas looked and smelled great. I had their salad with chicken. All gone! Well made. The 4 stars comes from my wife not getting her order. The waitress got confused, I guess.

Shocked I haven’t reviewed this yet. Been going for almost a decade and I have never had a bad experience. Nights on the upstairs bar area. Meals with family. Wine dinners. Beer dinners. Chef is creative and they don’t put out a bad meal. Large variety of monthly specials. Strong drink selection. I cannot even count the number of times I’ve been. Even met my husband for the first time there. Got engaged after a meal there. And ended up getting married across the street. After all these years, I think the Urban Amore remains my favorite. Also if you love an aperol spritz, they have one of the best ones I’ve had. Oh and their brunch pizza is also phenomenal!!!

Me and my wife love this place. We have visisted this place about 10 times now. But realized never put up a review for it. We had our regulars Buffalina 😋 and Quattro Formaggi. We tried Margherita pizza, pasta and as well. Absolutely tastes good. The vibe of this place and the street is really great. The only thing about Buffalina is it tastes very good in the weekday but great in the weekends.

Ok… Hands down best pizza experience in my life! Starting with the location, downtown brick and cobblestone surround, three story building. You enter and there is a bustling elegant but old vibe, smells are enticing and make your mouth water, they have a bar on bottom floor, with good seating, then you walk up to second floor where they have elegant tables and a separate room for groups, then the third floor with a rooftop view of downtown, surrounded with the cutest flower bed. The pizza is amazing, delicious, perfect undercarriage, amazing mozzarella, and great combination of ingredients. Excellent relaxing vibe, really good waiting staff, I’d recommend a thousand times.

Pretty good pizza, with fresh and tasty ingredients. The rucula and parma ham pizza was pretty good. And the rooftop is quite nice, not the most breathtaking views but definitely cool vibe. But the thing that stood out for me was how nice all the staff was. Definitely recommend!

Sixty Vines is a modern New American kitchen and wine bar that offers a unique dining experience in Plano, Texas. The restaurant is renowned for its extensive selection of wines on tap and its classy patio area, which provides a comfortable setting to enjoy a glass of red, white, or rose without being affected by the extreme temperatures of North Texas.
Highly recommend sixty vines and Chris as your server. The food was delicious. My favs were the crispy golden truffle fries, fresh beet & goat cheese salad, yummy brussels and of course the prosciutto date pizza. I tasted the pesto pasta as well and it was equally delicious. Ended the meal with the moist citrus olive oil cake. Chris knew the perfect drink to pair with all those and it was a wonderful way to enjoy Sunday lunch. So good!

We eat at restaurants several times a week and never in our entire lives have we written a review for any of them. But tonight is different. We just returned home from the restaurant a few minutes ago and immediately felt pulled to write this. It was that special. We were a party of 11, and every one of us was completely blown away by the food. Every single dish that came out was incredible beyond description. Each time we tasted something new, someone at the table would say, “This is officially the best thing I’ve ever eaten,” and then the next dish arrived, and we’d say it again. The flavors, presentation, and quality exceeded all expectations. It was honestly extraordinary. But as fantastic as the food was, our experience was equally amazing thanks to Galileo, our waiter. Galileo provided the best service we’ve ever received at any restaurant, ever. He was warm, attentive, professional, and made every single person at the table feel important. Galileo didn’t just serve us dinner, he created a beautiful atmosphere and made our evening something truly memorable. We can’t thank him enough. Angelica, the manager, also stood out in every possible way. She stepped in to assist our table due to the large number of guests we had. Her presence and warmth made everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Angelica is incredibly kind, professional, and thoughtful, with a unique ability to make you feel special. She truly added a personal touch to our experience that we deeply appreciated. We’re still talking about how remarkable this evening was. It was genuinely one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had, from start to finish. If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I absolutely would in a heartbeat. In my humble opinion, five stars don’t even come close to capturing how outstanding this place really is. Do yourself a favor and go, you will not regret it. One last thing I just remembered. The house salad was honestly out of this world.

Had a lovely lunch with my Father in law today, It's strange they have no lunch paper menus for a 77 year old, he does not do well with scanning the QR code to view a menu! Food was great, we shared the spicy sausage pizza and the side salad, Plus a smaller cheese and meat plate which was perfect for 2! We did have a nice Chardonnay with our lunch. Overall service was not the best but we enjoyed the restaurant and lunch together!

Me and friends dined at Sixty Vines over Labor Day weekend. I had been a number of times in the past but not recently. Love the bright open interior but loved the service, specifically from Lexie B. There were 5 of us and each with our particulars. Lexi was pleasant and attentive. I can’t say enough! On the other hand, the gals at the front were just OK. Only one of them (beautiful Asian) had a smile while the other looked and behaved as if she would rather be any place but greeting guests. I wish I had gotten her name because someone needs to pull her aside. Working the front may not have been her vibe. My meal was fabulous! I ordered the Creste Di Gallo. This chicken and mushroom dish sat somewhere between light and heavy with a delicious cream pesto sauce. It paired nicely with my custom red wine flight.🍷🍷🍷🍷 I may not rush to return to this venue, but if I do, I will ask to be seated in Lexi’s area!

Had a great time stopping by Sixty Vines for dinner by myself. Alexis and Justin helped serve me and both were helpful. Got a flight of four wines, two white and two red. Ordered the Cauliflower + Eggplant dip (amazing), the Beet salad was nothing to write home about (tasty, but nothing really unique about it), the mushroom pizza was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Ordered the citrus cake (amazing) with a glass of Schramsberg (which was a delicious combo) but Justin and Alexis had alternate suggests (a red and moscato, respectively) that likely would've been just as interesting. Ordered the toffee cake to go and split that up over the next couple days. The portions are pretty huge, so if you go with someone you'll likely only need to order 1 app, one main, and one dessert, and split between the two of you.

Finally got to try sixty vines and I’m in love!! Honestly I was starting to wonder if my taste buds were broken bcuz I haven’t been liking anything I eat out at restaurants in a while. But this place proved the problem is not me! The food is AMAZING and the portions are great for the price! I’m gluten-free and dairy-free and love the options they have! I ate with others who have no allergies and they loved the food too! Ordered: GF Fried Chicken - this is on the appetizer menu?! Was not expecting so many pieces, definitely a full meal! It was about a meal price so honestly glad about that. The crust you would not believe is GF! The make their own flour with rice & tapioca & spices. Both the chicken marinade and the breading have spices! So crispy and tender. GF & Vegan Mushroom Pizza - It’s a cauliflower crust but doesn’t taste or feel like it at all?! He said everyone always double checks haha. SO delicious, more like a flatbread but bursting with flavor that cashew cream was soo good! Pan Roasted Chicken - Also bursting with flavor! The chicken was juicy and everything was marinaded sooo well! Little spicy warning but if you pick off the chili peppers it’s not spicy anymore! The chickpeas were also soo tender and good in it too We also ordered one mocktail the Garden Spritz it was really good just a tad sweet for my personal liking but definitely well flavored
Disa J — Google review
Sixty Vines is a beautiful spot for a summer dinner with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The space is open and inviting with multiple dining areas, each giving a unique feel. Our drinks: I had The Bright Side mocktail (very refreshing), and the Blackberry Sage Soda, a summer mocktail that was sweet and herbal. My friend had the Tequila Fix, and The Bee Keep which she really enjoyed. Our appetizer was the harissa shrimp, it was large, fresh, and full of flavor. For our entrees, I had the vegan mushroom pizza which was so delicious and filling. My friend ordered the Caesar salad w/ salad, which she found to be fresh and well-balanced. We finished with the Basque cheesecake, which was creamy and just sweet enough. Great service, relaxed yet upscale vibe, and a solid mix of cocktails, mocktails, and thoughtful food options. Highly recommend for a laid-back but elevated dinner night.

Most expensive bar food ever. Was recommended this place by my hair stylist who is located nearby. After watching the renovations for months, decided to go early on a Saturday since I’d heard it got super busy. It wasn’t bad and we found parking and walked right to a table. Got our food quickly. I had heard it was a bit pricey and that was the truth! $16 for 6 nachos. Calling them nachos was a stretch, more like chips with toppings. My daughter got the Caesar salad which she liked. My husband got the Waygu slice plate and said it was the most grisly, unseasoned BBQ he had ever tasted. Same went for creamed corn and German mashed potatoes. Very disappointed and won’t be back. Not sure if food was better and less pricey before they renovated but it wasn’t great after. It is cute and the outdoor section seems fun but the food is not worth it.

A group of 4 of us stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. It was pretty crowded but there was still a lot of seating available outside. It was about 84F but since there are lots of trees, it didn’t feel hot. They have TV’s on so you can watch your favorite sports. My wife and I had the loaded Queso and chips, Beer venison chili and Gumbo and all of it was very good. We also had some drinks. The Hefeweizen I had was really good. The couple we were with brought their dog and there were lots of other dogs there. Our server was great, she was happy and seemed to be enjoying her job. I would dine here again and recommend this place. The bill for four of us was $122 before tip.

One of my favorite places to eat outside. They have a huge outdoor area covered under the shade of trees and lights. The food is always delicious and hot. I always get the loaded cheese fries to start, and the charro beans as a side. The wait staff is very attentive. It is also dog friendly. The atmosphere is family friendly and my husband enjoys watching sports on the outdoor tvs.

Katy Trail Outpost in Plano has great vibes — fun atmosphere, friendly service, and a solid place to kick back with friends. The energy here is definitely a highlight. As someone from Louisiana with pretty high standards for gumbo, I’ve got to say — theirs was actually pretty good. Good flavor, nice consistency… but $11 for a small cup is wild. And honestly, most of the menu feels on the high side price-wise. Still, if you don’t mind paying a little extra for the atmosphere and a good time, it’s worth checking out.

Visited Brothers Grill yesterday with friends casually. Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5. Extra * for Terry who was our table attender. Atmosphere:3/5 We were seated immediately on arrival but took 5-10 min for someone to come and take order. Terry apologized for delay and took our order. I ordered their in house special Watermelon Black tea and my friends ordered for beer samples. Black tea arrived on time but Pitcher we choose never came. Finally we reminders them again after 10 mins. Not happy with this kind of service on weekdays. Watermelon black tea was bad and blend. Terry came and replaced it with Black tea, lemonade and strawberry puree which was decent. My friends did like beer nothing specially to call out. But one of the lady visited our table every 5 min asking for cheque which was annoying! Overall Ok experience. Thanks Terry for Black tea recommendations.

Love & War in Texas is a part of a chain of Old West-themed roadhouses that offer a Southwestern menu and live music on weekends. The Plano and Grapevine locations each have their own unique live music atmosphere, with artists performing Texas Country and Americana music. The outdoor stages at each location provide distinct vibes, with the Plano location being the flagship offering a grassy picnic area and small stage.
SUPER VIBE EXCELLENT SERVICE My wife and I had booked a table here in order to see the Lowdown Drifters. We had some friends with us. The establishment is real nice - has a good Texas vibe to it. There is a lot of interesting decor to watch. Make sure to walk around and see it all. The staff is great - from the host/hostesses, the DJ, the bouncers to the waiter. Real professional and attentive. A rowdy customer was handled very nicely by the bouncers - they showed understanding and kept calm. Our waiter was real good. Attentive and professional. And even though the place was full and he was busy, he managed to serve us all night. The menu is very fine with a nice selection of different dishes. As is the beverage menu. I had the cowboy steak - ordered it medium/rare and it was close. Served warm. Tasted real good. As did the refried beans and mashed potatoes I ordered as sides. The band was playing from the corner stage, and the music was not at all too loud which we had feared it would be. All in all we had an excellent time here and can recommend it to everyone who loves Texas and/or live music.

Great place! Great food! The chicken fried bacon, wow! Juicy & flavorful! The ranch steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly! Our server was great he was not only running the bar but the floor (was not super busy) and he didn't miss a beat or make any mistakes!! And the s'mores sundae 🤌🏻

This is a great place for food and beverage. I went on a Saturday night to see live music. I first sat at the inside bar. Service was prompt, beer was COLD. The menu leans towards a steak house tex Mex vibe. There are lots of options. I had the enchiladas and they were AMAZING. LIVE music is there on a regular basis. The night we went Joe Walker performed, and he was also outstanding. The live music is semi outdoors, but is covered. My only complaint was the lack of service during the musical performance. Our table was full of dishes that were never removed. We had to go inside to get more beverages.

Whether for the food, drinks or live music...Love and War in Texas has been a staple of North Texas and the Texas music scene for decades. So many bands and artists have performed at Love and War in front of gracious crowds. One of my favorite shows was the Tommy Alverson and Ed Burleson Birthday Bash in 2023. Tommy, Jay Johnson, Ronny Spears and too many others have passed on but the music and memories remain. Pop in for a cold beverage and some live music sometime...you'll be glad you did.

The food was excellent! This time, we had the chopped salad and hit the happy hour for the $5 tumbleweed (fried onion rings) and $5 margaritas. We added the chopped salad, which was amazing. Great service and food.

Better than Texas Roadhouse. You heard me. Steve was an excellent server, and this place.. just amazing. Steak, potatos, apetizers- all of it. I don't like onion rings, but these were damn good. I ate about half the plate. And I know you wanna know about the steaks but jeez was that broccoli perfect. Soft, with texture. This place will convert the broc-haters. The steak? Cooked perfectly. Tender, juicy. Seasoned simply, and just right. Hubby has been coming here the last 20+ years, and he says he has never had an issue here, not once. No gristle in his steak, everything cooked perfectly. I can second this. Steve told us one of the managers picks out their steaks in person, and I can tell. It's just that good. If you want texmex, seafood, country comforts, or steak.. this is the place.
Rissa S — Google review
I order the steak and shrimp. The shrimp was excellent. The steak was almost pure gristle. It was really bad cut of meat. The chips and salsa were not much better. The salsa was great, but the chips tasted like they were cooked in very old oil. Not goid at all. Also, my fried okra look kike several pieces had dog or human hair on them. I didn't eat 6 pieces. Eric, my waiter, was awesome. High kudos to him. Atmosphere was also nice.

Haywire is a multi-floor dining experience located in Plano, Texas. It is part of the Front Burner Family of restaurants and offers a high-end New American dining experience. The restaurant features a 1st floor whiskey bar, 2nd floor dining room, and rooftop patio. Guests can indulge in Southern-inspired American favorites such as lamb burgers, fried Gulf oysters, chicken fried steak, and more.
The Haywire team did an outstanding job making my birthday dinner feel special! My party was running late for our reservation, but we called ahead to let them know and the staff were so accommodating. They were able to hold our table for an additional 30 min, which we greatly appreciated. Jordan, our server, was fantastic and very attentive. He was very helpful with his suggestions and frequently checked on us during our meal. The food was fantastic - especially the whiskey bread pudding. We are already making plans to go back just for the bread pudding because it is so phenomenally good. One of the best desserts I've ever had. The decor and ambiance is sophisticated and elegant, but still retains that Texas charm. We visited both the 2nd floor dining room and 3rd floor rooftop. My only negative is that the noise level was a bit too loud while dining, but we also went on a Saturday night for dinner, so it may depend on the time/crowd. Overall, incredible experience and Haywire is truly deserving of 5-stars.

We ate here on Sunday night when it wasn't too busy or loud. The food was great, although a little pricey, and the service was very helpful and friendly. It was such a big barn look that I didn't think was the greatest and might be very noisy when it's full. There are three levels and there are some rooms for a copier atmosphere that might be better for a more intimate setting. There is also seating outside on the 2nd and 3rd floors that overlook the stage where the entertainment is on weekends.

A great spot for a date night or just a girls' meet-up! We had reservations, but they do accept walkins. Relaxing atmosphere and great portion sizes. The food was really good and Dallas, our waiter, was very attentive to us! I will gladly go back again! The pork belly bites are our absolute favorite!!

This was my second time at Haywire and I truly enjoy this place. Ambience is nice, lighting is low, and the place is HUGE (three stories including a rooftop) The first time I really enjoyed the steak I ordered! My second visit I wasn’t overly wowed by the food, but I still enjoyed nonetheless! I also got the mojito refresher and I highly recommend for a non alcoholic beverage. Marcus was our server and he did an exceptional job!! He was very funny, attentive, quick, and gave us great and super honest suggestions over the menu! Definitely recommend as your server! Haywire is the place to go for a date night or a special occasion!!

I came to Haywire in Plano to celebrate my birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. I ordered the 12oz NY strip steak, which was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, rich, and the perfect side. Their frozen Texas Tea quickly became my new favorite drink—refreshing and dangerously easy to enjoy. Between the food, drinks, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere, it felt like such a special night. The service was attentive without being overbearing, which really made the celebration even better. Haywire made my birthday dinner feel memorable, and I’ll definitely be back!

This restaurants strong suit isn't their food but the ambiance. They have 3 floors where you can dine, each level with its own vibe, so you get a different experience on different levels. I mean the food is ok but for the price they charge it's not something that has you wanting to come back. The interior decor is very nice and the location makes it a date worthy spot, though. I recommend checking it out but not for its food or service.

My husband and I had a wonderful first experience here. Heidi the GM is wonderful and you can tell her staff all love working there. Our server Britany was very attentive and so amazing. My husband had their signature Old fashioned and the double burger which he loved. I had the hot chicken sandwich and the Guava Jalapeno Margarita ( I always swap tequila with bourbon, trust me on this one, just do it.) Wonderful meal, we will absolutely be back.

This was a recommendation from some guys we met at a brewery and it did not disappoint! Jonah was our server and is the best server we experienced while visiting Frisco/ Plano TX. Jonah recommended his version of a surf & turf with a little Cajun cream sauce! It was absolutely mouth watering!!!! I had it with the garlic stuffed filet! This will be a meal I will remember for a long time!!!!! My hubby had the Ribeye with Chimmichurri rice and added garlic butter to his steak! It was perfectly seasoned and tender!!!! The bread pudding is to die for! The whiskey caramel sauce is sweet without being too sweet!!!! Do yourself a favor! Get to Haywire and ask for Jonah!!!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

North Italia is a trendy trattoria with a vibrant bar that serves modern interpretations of traditional Italian dishes. Situated in the Legacy West area, it offers a great view of the fountains and is perfect for people-watching. The restaurant hosts happy hour on weekdays and features discounted drinks and dishes. On Sundays, guests can enjoy half-priced select bottles of wine and indulge in a delectable brunch menu. The restaurant's upscale location among popular shops and eateries makes it an ideal dining destination.
I’ve been to this place numerous times, so I’m a bit late to write this review. The ambiance is incredible, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Reservations are highly recommended, as the place gets busy quickly even on weekdays. They have a great selection of food items, and some of my favorites are on the menu. They also have a decent wine collection.

Our lunch at North Italia was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was fantastic, with a lively and warm buzz that made us feel good. The service was truly exceptional; our server was a total pro, expertly guiding us through the wine list and even recommending the perfect pairing for our meal. And the food? It was as delicious as it was beautiful. Each dish was crafted with care and presented wonderfully. For anyone craving authentic Italian food, this place is a must-visit!

Great place to get a refreshing cocktail or a light lunch, or have lunch if that is your preference. I stopped by for a late lunch yesterday and I loved the environment. The interior decor is welcoming and warming. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I sat at the bar which had comfy seats. The female bartender wearing the black shirt was great. She had been working there since 8am but still managed to put a smile on her face. I ordered the salmon and replaced the pasta with vegetables. The vegetables were well seasoned and buttered. The salmon was good but a little dry. It didn’t come with any type of sauce or even a lemon. One thing I did notice also was that the female host was a little dismissive and unwelcoming. I remember walking in and the first thing she said to me was “can I help?”. Of course this is not how you should welcome guests into your restaurant. Overall, though I wouldn’t mind coming back to this place. They do have a great atmosphere.

Wonderful experience! Alon was the very best server. Kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. We had the most delicious pasta and made space for the Nutella dessert. We also enjoyed our drinks! Hugo and Aperol Spritz our favorite. We’ll be back. Loved patio seating!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a beautiful patio that’s perfect for enjoying summer evenings. The food was incredibly delicious—everything from the appetizers to the mains was full of flavor and beautifully presented. It’s definitely one of the best spots to visit in the summer if you want great food and a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend!

North Italia is one of our favorite chain Italian spots in DFW. We often go for brunch and it never disappoints. We haven't had anything there that we didn't like and the service is wonderful. I can't recommend the white truffle garlic bread enough. I would go there just for that! This time I also had the bolognese which is the house specialty. It was excellent! My husband had the chicken pesto and loved it as well. We were seated in the back right by the windows to the kitchen. I loved watching them prepare the pizzas and entrees. I trust a restaurant more when they have an open kitchen. We could see all the ingredients and brands they used and everything was top notch.

Looking for a nice Italian restaurant that understands Italian? Here's your spot. The service was great as the server was very engaging. She made sure to offer drinks, appetizers and entrees separately. She was on time for refills on drinks. The food was well cooked and tasted wonderful. I suggest the lasagna and spicy rigattoni. Great for business meetings, special occasions for couples and dates. I suggest making reservations in advance. Enjoy!

I hate having to write this, as I have been consistently going to this North italia location for the past few months on a weekly or biweekly basis. The food is always spectacular, however, over the past couple weeks, the service and staff started treating myself and my coworkers rather terribly. I’ve been a big advocate of this location, as well as have been telling others about how good the service has been, however, unfortunately, after this week that has all changed. I always order my food in advance and ask to sit at the bar. The past few times I have came, the staff has been treating me and my coworkers rudely telling us that we’re not allowed to do that despite having had done it in the past. I understand that rules can change, however, I really don’t think it’s a good look considering I’m just as much as a paying customer as everybody else. Not only that, but the staff claims that they’re doing this because they need to save space… I’m including an image of the bar when I left it…completely empty. I can’t help that I have too quick a lunch break to sit down and order right then and there. They have the space and have always had the space, they’re just determined to be rude to myself and my coworkers, for whatever reason— not wanting to seat us. I hate to say this, but I will no longer be convincing my coworkers to continue our weekly trips to North Italia. I don’t feel welcome here by the staff and I also cannot encourage anybody to continue eating out at a place where they are so quickly turn on consistent paying customers. They were rude, reluctant to give us water, and reluctant to give us cutlery. The staff at the entrance and the bar tried to ignore us and also gave us dirty looks. Horrendous Horrendous

Mexican restaurant
Bar
Urban Rio Cantina & Grill is a trendy 2-tier bar and grill located in a former ice house, offering Tex-Mex cuisine and frozen cocktails. Situated just east of the DART rail in downtown Plano, this Mexican cantina serves up authentic dishes like tamales and tacos alongside refreshing cocktails. The restaurant hosts live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
Great lunch, brunch or dinner spot for Tex-Mex in historic downtown Plano. Downstairs has a good-sized waiting area adjacent to a bar. The dining area has table and booth seating. Upstairs has a larger bar plus indoor/outdoor tables (space was heated and enclosed for the winter weather). Both levels have plenty of mounted TVs. Service was great. Chips and salsa were tasty. I had the brisket tacos, (3 good-sized, delicious tacos) and a side of rice. My date ordered nachos. Portions were very generous.
Becca M — Google review
We took my mom for an early Sunday dinner. The place was mostly empty, as expected. Urban Rio is an artfully decorated restaurant famous for its second story balcony overlooking the DART train tracks. It was cool and windy so we sat inside. Our table ordered the House-Smoked Brisket Tacos, Chicken Tortilla Soup, and the Tamale of the Month. The latter included two house made tamales filled with spinach, mushroom, and goat cheese topped with a rather large portion of chicken tinga and crema. The tacos and tamales came with a side of black beans and red and green rice. I also ordered a frozen margarita. The menu said it was $7 but I was charged only $4. A nice surprise. Everything was delicious. Chips come with a spicy salsa and a mild black bean dip. I would like to return for the Weekend Brunch served Saturday and Sunday from 11 - 3. The brunch menu includes chicken & waffles, a crab Benedict, and steak and eggs. Highly recommend!

Urban Rio in downtown Plano is a fantastic spot! We had the chicken and shrimp fajitas, and they came out sizzling and packed with flavor—perfectly grilled with fresh veggies, black beans, and rice on the side. The stuffed avocado was equally delicious, with layers of chicken tinga, beans, queso, pico and onion cloud. To top it all off, it was Beer-Rita happy hour! A margarita with a mini Corona was fun and refreshing—definitely a must-try! Everything was beautifully plated and full of flavor. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and food that hits the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

The food is amazing! They used to be one of my favorite places. However they have changed their menu and it no longer has gluten free listed. Most of the staff is now unknowledgeable about what they can do gluten free, they do have one of the old menus that has it marked but they were uncertain if that was still true. Used to be a happy regular, sadly will not be returning.

Our first visit. We chose upstairs to see what the hype was about. It was a mid Saturday afternoon and the staff was having fun, serving guests quickly, interacting and still getting the job done. We had drinks, tacos, quesadillas and dessert. From start to finish, ZERO complaints! What a fun place upstairs and a great meal! We will be back to dine downstairs or on the patio. Thank you Saturday staff for a job well done!

Visited on 4/5/25 around 5:30 PM. I have to say, the atmosphere was great—live band, DJ was on point, really good vibes overall. However, the service at the bar was disappointing. We waited at least 7 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, and the bar wasn’t busy at all. Throughout our time there, the bartenders barely checked in, even when our drinks were clearly low. When our chips and dip came out, the chips were very stale. We asked them to take the chips back, and instead of just replacing them, they took the entire plate—including the dip—back to the kitchen. They seemed annoyed about it too, which definitely didn’t help the experience.

Nice atmosphere! Very diverse crowd, the band was great. I loved the music selection of in between music….the Dj was on point. Crowd seemed to enjoy it all. Only thing I didn’t like was the food was way too expensive and serving were not good portions either. Drinks were watered down not the best!

It's the first brewery in Plano, offering a diverse selection of beer brewed on-site, along with chef-driven pub fare. The establishment prides itself on its signature craft beers, classic cocktails, hand-selected spirits, frozen drinks, and wines. With indoor and outdoor seating options and ample parking at The Boardwalk, Union Bear provides a welcoming environment for guests of all ages.
I really enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. The food was great, but the honey on the flatbread was almost too spicy/greasy to enjoy fully. The pretzel bites were good. The candy brownie was good, but mostly the brownie was the best part, the ice cream was just okay? The beers are great! Definitely recommended coming during their late night happy hour which is everyday from 9pm till close. This is the best time to try more than 1 thing and not break the bank doing it. Luckily me and my partner split everything or it would've cost more.

Great beer selection, tasty food for a good price, paired with kind and attentive service! It was nice that we were able to try a few samples of beers to make sure we enjoyed our selection. The boss hog flatbread and smothered fries hit the spot. Beef jerkey is good, just know that it's a little crisper than regular beef jerky! All in all, this is a great place for lunch and we will be back again!

Union Bear Brewing Co. is an incredible spot with a modern interior, stylish décor, and both covered and uncovered patios. Their patio deck overlooks the waterfront, making it perfect for people-watching and a fun spot for kids. The atmosphere is lively yet family-friendly, with sports, music, and a welcoming vibe for celebrations year-round. The in-house craft beer is excellent and affordable, with great flights to try different brews. Cocktails and spirits are creative and well-made, and there are plenty of other drink options. Food is consistently delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive. A must-visit for anyone looking for a great meal, drinks, and a beautiful setting.

Sat at the bar - our favorite place to sit! I think we waited 5-8 minutes to be asked if we would like something? The flatbread BossHog Pizza 🍕 was delicious and came out hot since they have runners. Our beer 🍻 sat empty for at least 15 -18 minutes … maybe more with an empty glass and waiting to pay. If we weren’t honest people - the thought to dine and dash crossed our minds. To their credit when I mentioned it - they did comp our food. Super unfortunate as Brewery/ beer people that enjoy trying new beers and enjoying great food. The good and beer was great - the service was less than great. Giving a 4 star as I think this place could be great and all the food saw come out looked amazing.

When Union Bear first opened, I had a negative experience and did not plan on returning. Since then, I have visited at least 100 times and every visit has been consistently excellent. Sean, the general manager, and Tanner always stop by to ensure I am enjoying my meal and having a good experience. The food is crafted with real intention and attention to detail, and it shows every time. The restaurant is always clean, including the bathrooms, which I truly appreciate. Their happy hour is one of the best around and is a big reason I continue to come back. Most importantly, the hospitality and effort from the entire team do not go unnoticed. They have worked hard to improve and it shows in every visit. Union Bear has truly become one of my go-to places, and I look forward to many more meals here.

Austin Avenue Grill & Sports Bar is a beloved classic sports bar located in Plano, Texas, with additional locations in Richardson and McKinney. Established in 1995, this vibrant spot has become a go-to destination for sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With an inviting atmosphere featuring numerous large TV screens and pool tables, it’s the perfect place to catch your favorite game while enjoying delicious bar fare.
So I’m an avid reviewer with restaurants , this is a sports bar and it’s really nice. The food I had a build a burger, starts out $7.99 with fries (cheap) but don’t let that fool you. I only have 2 burger joints that can even come close to this. This burger was amazing, flavor was amazing, waffle fries are not just waffle fries they’re fresh cut. They have seasonings on them everything was served fresh and hot. There was only 20 people in for lunch. Sit yourself and I promise I’ll be eating here a lot more. Typically I go to different restaurants from really high end $1,000 for 2 people to $30 for 2 people. This place is amazing. It’s definitely my top 3 places for lunch haven’t done dinner yet but will.

Fabulous Experience!! Made reservations for a party of 10 people for our 1st visit to Austin Ave. We kicked off our party there before we went to spend 4 days in Oklahomaat Choctaw Casino. We chose Karokee night because one of our girlfriends is a recording artist in town from Nashville. We were all so happy with everything Austin Ave started our fun filled 5 days for FUN !!! Our table was ready upon arrival, the staff was amazing and attentive. The bar was clean and well staffed. The DJ did a fabulous job with his organizational skills and making sure those patrons who wanted to sing, got their chance. There were some really great singers and the crowd all seemed to enjoy themselves just as much as we did. I was the lead skate coach for about 25 years at Thunderbird Skating Rink, and ran operations for several years until Covid. It is so nice to see so many people out and about having fun and living life. I saw so many smiles and lots of laughter on many faces that night at Austin Avenue. May your doors remain open for many, many more years !!!

Came here for a few drinks on the patio with a friend. Ordered at the bar, and left tab open. Went to the patio and then back to order 1 more drink and close out. They mentioned (both times at the bar) that we could leave it open and pay with someone outside. We never saw waitstaff out on the patio. The lemon drop martini was horrible- all you could taste was the mix. Very sour. Ordered a Tito’s and lemonade and it was worse!! Finally saw a waitress and told her how bad the drink was. So she was going to have the bartender remake it. Place is good for watching a football game- lots of TV’s. Food was just ok. We won’t be back unfortunately.

We were here with a large group on a Friday night. There parking lot was packed, so I was afraid it would be a crush of bodies- but the space is much larger than I expected- three main rooms- and it didn’t feel crowded, at all. Place is FILLED with screens- I imagine it’s a fantastic place to watch a game. They have a room with darts and pool tables, too. We only ordered appetizers and they were totally standard bar fare. Don’t expect a pretty plate or special flavors. (I loved their light, crispy tortilla chips!) Their drink prices seemed reasonable- we ordered a 34 ounce blue moon-$11. The highlight for me was-we had about 30 people in our group- and the service was stellar. Friendly, fast, accurate.

Been coming here for years with a big group, and it use to be great, however the last few times I have been here the service has literally gone to zero. We waited 30 minutes for someone to serve us? Absolutely crazy. A group of 12 and no one wants to take our order or anything? If I was the owner I would be furious. This is the second time this has happened? Why even have the doors open? Oh and no food is available until “our cook comes in”. I asked when that would be and I got the answer “I don’t know”. We left. A customer outside told us as we left that “scruffy duffles opens when they want and serves you when they feel like it”. Pretty accurate.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience here. I ordered a vodka soda at the bar, but what I received was clearly just soda water—no vodka whatsoever. When I politely questioned it, the bartender on duty was immediately argumentative and dismissive rather than offering to make it right. My bill was $7.32, and I deliberately left a $0 tip because I wasn’t served the drink I paid for. I even took a photo of the signed receipt for my records. However, when the charge was processed, I noticed I was billed $14.32—double what I actually authorized. Not only was I served a non-alcoholic drink and treated rudely, I was also overcharged without my consent. That’s theft, plain and simple. I’ve submitted a dispute with my bank and will not be returning. If you visit here, I would strongly recommend watching your charges—I’m not the only one this bartender has stolen from.

The karaoke DJ, Shoji, is friggen phenomenal and you should absolutely seek him out if you're ever in the mood for karaoke whenever he's playing at. Unrelated point: The service at this specific place by the establishment, however, has been a bit lackluster lately. Absolutely unqualified bartenders, with usually one decent one on the clock, but you can't choose who makes your drink because the bad ones swarm like flies to block you from doing that. Tonight was the worst though. A fingertip width of alcohol in a long island? That was an obvious test after the two drinks we were given prior, and this was just the twisting of the knife. I hope the shape up a bit, otherwise my friend will be going here alone from the following time on. Update to reply: Lie all you want, but there were 5 liquors poured and she was going for the filler nozzle when I stopped. Feel free to check the cameras. Irrelevant issue though, I won't be back. Extreme disservice doesn't merit any patrons. Regardless, people will either frequent you less after getting the same treatment, or you'll fix your problems to prove things wrong, and either outcome is fine by me.

Seasons 52 is a contemporary restaurant known for its rotating menu of seasonal American dishes and international wines in an upscale setting. It's a great spot for a date night, offering ample vegan options like the Hummus Duo with plain lavosh and Vegetarian Tacos without feta cheese. The restaurant's fresh grill and wine bar concept is inspired by the appeal of a farmers market and what's in season.
Super friendly staff and tasty + healthy food. Haven’t been to Seasons 52 in years. The quality of the food is top notch. I started with the tuna tartar and it was huge. Very fresh and tasty. For my entree I got the seared tuna salad that was also tasty. I ate at the bar and the bartender never let my glass of iced tea be empty. I will definitely be back

A gastronomical delight, this is a restaurant that I would reserve well in advance and be assured that it's worth the wait. Megan was extremely helpful, kind, considerate and efficient with the service. The crab cakes were delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. Their dessert presentation is very innovative with perfect portion sizes and balanced flavours. Pair it with an espresso martini and you have yourself a perfect meal. On a side note, remember that this is a popular restaurant and will probably be at capacity when you go - hence the valet!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We hosted our engagement event at Seasons 52, and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. The sales manager, Veronica, was outstanding in helping us plan and ensure every detail was handled flawlessly. The hostess greeted our guests warmly and set the tone for the evening, while the bartenders and the entire staff delivered exceptional service throughout. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make the celebration seamless and memorable. The food and drinks were superb, and the atmosphere made the night even more special. Truly a tremendous experience—we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. Highly recommend!

I went with family to celebrate a couple of birthdays. I found the space to be great for a nicer family dinner. They have gluten free and dairy free menu options. I ordered the hummus which came with gluten free bread and crudités. For the main I had the sesame-grilled salmon salad. Overall the food was great. The service was excellent.

The place used to have much better flavors in the food. We were a large group and ordered quite a few things from the menu but overall nothing turned out to be extraordinary. Everything was “okay”. Of all the things, I would recommend the Pesto flat bread, cheese platter and watermelon feta salad.

Last night, we took our daughter, Kaitlyn, out to Seasons 52 for her birthday dinner! I finished up my H Pylori treatment the night of her birthday, and was feeling pretty miserable. I was just grateful to get her presents and decorations done. I was so grateful when Kaitlyn's friend knocked on the door and asked to play. Kaitlyn was excited to play and push dinner back a night. My doctor advised to eliminate all milk/whey/casein from my intake due to how inflammed my body was, so I shared this and my shellfish allergy with our waiter, Zach. I also shared how I felt embarrassed asking for the accommodations. Zach shared not to feel embarrassed, and that everyone at Seasons52 prides themselves on the purpose they have within their restaurant. We noticed this as soon as we were greeted by the hostess. He shared they accommodate all food allergies and sensitivities. Their food is whole, organic, fresh, and clean. I was impressed that they had an entirely separate, full, front and back menu for differing allergies and sensitivities. He also shared they could modify the main menu to accommodate. He shared he has been doing this work for nearly 6 years, trains others as new locations open (including out-of-state), and plans to move up to a managerial role when available. Zach is kind, intelligent, and empathetic. He even shared his brother has lactose intolerance, but will suffer a bit to have dairy. I told him that I tried that with the use of digestive enzymes, and ended up with H Pylori, which looking back at my symptoms, I believe I had for at least 6 months and it just got to the point where it too bad to write off as just lactose intolerance. Tim asked Zach when he worked, because we plan to return for my birthday, and he told us his schedule. He shared he won't be here end of September because he is training at a new location in Florida. Zach most definitely deserves a promotion to management. He was wonderful in every way. After eating, Jack shared it was the first time eating out that his stomach did not hurt. We all left feeling full and satisfied. They even had a dairy-free dessert that was dense and delicious, which I shared with Tim. Tim was so impressed he was talking about his food and our experience this morning, and he is not easy to impress when it comes to restaurants and food. Hands down, this was the best overall dining experience and my most favorite restaurant to date. Kaitlyn's birthday dinner was an all-around success!

A Perfect Evening at Seasons 52 It's rare when every aspect of a dining experience aligns perfectly, but our recent visit to Seasons 52 was truly exceptional. Having not been back since its opening, a gift card prompted our return, and we were absolutely delighted by how outstanding the food was, especially considering the affordable prices. We're already planning our next visit! We started with the crab cake appetizer, which was so delicious we immediately ordered a second. For our entrées, the grilled scallops and risotto ($30) were a definite five-star dish. The Ahi tuna salad ($21) also earned five stars for its freshness and flavor. And the gnocchi and tomato pasta dish, at just $20, was equally impressive, also earning a perfect score. From the impeccable food and service to the inviting atmosphere, everything was flawless. We highly recommend Seasons 52 and look forward to returning very soon.

We dined at Season’s 52 for lunch today celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. The food was fresh and flavorful with great presentation. Our server, Kih-ry provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive dining experience. He was friendly with a great attitude, very knowledgeable about the menu items and was excited to share he recently became a new uncle! We chose the wood-grilled steak tacos with side salad, lump crab cake sandwich with side salad, Chipotle BBQ shrimp flatbread, street corn skillet, loaded potato skillet and assorted dessert minis.

The Capital Grille is an upscale steakhouse chain known for its classic American cuisine and refined setting. It's nationally acclaimed for its dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and extensive wine list. The restaurant offers professional service in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The boutique NYLO Dallas Plano Hotel, where the restaurant is located, features industrial-chic decor, loft-style rooms, an outdoor pool with a fireplace, life-size chess, and pet-friendly accommodations.
Was in town on a business trip and decided to take myself out for a nice dinner on my birthday. I sat in the bar area but there were booths available. Had a pleasant, knowledgeable waitress that entertained me. The manager also came by for a chat to let me know I reminded him of his grandmother in how I eat my food - very deliberate and slow. Gotta savor all that flavor! We had a nice laugh and moment. My waitress persuaded me to get the salmon (which was at the bottom of my list) but I’m so glad I did. It was light, airy, and delicious! Then, I couldn’t decide between two desserts, so she brought both! I thought that was very sweet of her. And she was right again - that coconut cream pie was a delight! This was one of the best services I’ve had and I can’t wait to return.

Service is unmatched to most restaurants! Atmosphere is Texas and local history, a total gem! The food however needs improvement. The recipes and food quality are minimal for fine dining category at best. It is not priced for the quality but priced for the service and atmosphere. I have had better quality and gourmet food for half. But the service!

A great restaurant for all types of occasions. Ambient was great with the great service. Although my porterhouse was little disappointing compare to the porterhouse that I had in the past, the seafood tower and the desserts were awesome! Our server Daniel was attentive and very professional! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This was a fantastic diner. The last couple of steak houses I have been to have all been flops but this one was great! Eduardo was our server and did a phenomenal job especially on a wine recommendation. He gave great service through the whole night and was on top of everything. (I am use to great service in the beginning then terrible at the end at high end steak houses) crab cakes are really good Steak was good quality meat. It is a nice atmosphere and the entire staff are on top of everything hosts to the gentleman with the white beard always refilling my water! They have valet parking there is free parking in a garage or limited parking around.

Capital Grille in previous experiences has been phenomenal Tonight the service and the food were disappointing We decided to sit in the bar and compare the service and food to our recent experience at Eddie Vs The bartender/server was distracted and spent a lot of his time talking to another server and looking at his phone We had a seafood tower and the quality of the oysters using large golf oysters was very disappointing and not edible My partner ordered butternut squash, but apparently it was not usable so they replaced it with lobster bisque that was just mediocre I had the scallops with risotto that was so salty it could not be eaten Compare this to our recent visit to Eddie Vs where the manager came by twice, the food was better and atmosphere was lively

Mexican Sugar is a chic, hacienda-style restaurant that offers upscale Mexican dishes and an array of tequila cocktails. The menu features a variety of "sultry" Mexican-inspired comfort food made from scratch using locally-sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
Loved the food, loved the ambiance even more. The staff is super friendly. The place does have Vegetarian Options. The Queso Blanco was amazing. And the hibiscus margarita was fancy. Enchiladas were good too. Didn’t like the avocado cake much because we don’t usually like too much of sweet in a cake, but again, if you like sweet treats, it is good. Don’t miss their Sina Colada. I am going back for it again. That was my favorite of everything we ordered. Most impressive was the staff informing us why the food we ordered would arrive late, really appreciate the personal care. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This place is off the charts delicious!!! If you're a foodie, this.is.your.jam! From the Yuca fries, street corn, crab enchiladas with creamy poblano sauce all the way to the simple rice and beans. Your taste buds will be dancing on these robust flavors. Don't get me started on the cocktails. Highly recommend Out of Office 🤤🤌 Cannot wait to dine again!

I was excited to try this Mexican restaurant before meeting up with friends and it was not a good experience… As someone who had worked service industry in the past, it shocked me. I came at about 10pm (they close at 11pm) and there was 0 host or hostess at the front. Waited a couple minutes before flagging a server to see if the bar was open seating. There were a total of 6 people sitting at the bar when I chose a spot near the bartenders. For 5min, no one greeted me or brought me any water. At about the 5 minute mark, a menu was put in front of me but was still not welcomed to the restaurant. When looking at the menu, I chose my drink (Classico Margarita) and then when opening the menu, it was stuck together with food and was super sticky. I chose my food (Chicken Tacos) and set the menu down. More than 4 people were behind the bar and when finally asked what I wanted, I ordered and they walked away. I was not given any utensils or chips and salsa. The bar top was also dirty and I had to grab a cocktail napkin to wipe down my area… 4 or more places were dirty despite plenty of workers to help wipe down the bar top. I received my drink and food… the drink was decent but not the best I’ve had and the food was a mixed bag. My plate came with 3 tacos, black beans, and rice. The beans were lack luster and bland, the rice was decent and the tacos were the best part but fell apart quickly as it only had 1 corn tortilla on the outside. At this point I was prepared to get my check and leave. This place would have gotten a 1-star review at that point but they were redeemed by Elwin the bar back who checked on me multiple times and asked if anything was wrong. I informed him of the experience and he was so apologetic and sweet. Elwin immediately brought me chips and salsa (the salsa was bland and served hot) plus, got me a free drink for my trouble. The Grandiose Margarita he gave me was very good and would suggest anybody order it if they were getting a margarita. At about halfway through my margarita, they came around and stated last call would be occurring shortly at about 10:45pm. I chose to ask for the check at this time. When the check came out, it only had the food and drink on it, which was around $25. I laid down my card to process and when it came back, the check was only $14 as they removed my first drink also because they felt so bad. I told them it wasn’t necessary, but thank them so much for their kindness at the end. I tipped more because of that and then left. Seriously, Elwin was the one redeeming factor of this restaurant.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with family and husband on 09/20. Alejandro was fantastic! He was incredibly attentive, patient, and really took care of our party. We mentioned to him that we were celebrating a birthday and he surprised us with the churros we had been eyeing. Unfortunately I can’t say as a Mexican American that I would recommend Mexican Sugar for good Mexican food, but drinks and atmosphere are 10/10.

I ordered brunch tacos. They were so good. They had a nice spice to them. It came with a fruit bowl. The salsa was good and spicy. The server was attentive and I also got the impression that he was trying to rush my friend and me out. The atmosphere was nice. Not too loud or cold. The margaritas were tasty. I would return.

The vibe of this place is it! Very friendly staff, the appetizers are everything. None of the drinks miss, the hibiscus margarita and theor old fashion were delicious. And the entrees are amazing, I visited twice in one week! Will definitely be back

Phenomenal Experience at Mexican Sugar! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were crafted perfectly. But what really made the night memorable was our server, Alejandro. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. The food? Incredible. The chicken and carne asada fajitas were sizzling and full of flavor, the pork tacos were tender and perfectly seasoned, and don’t even get us started on the avocado chocolate cake—rich, unique, and the perfect sweet ending. You can tell Alexandro genuinely cares about the guests having a great experience—and we absolutely did. Do suggest the staff meeting be held in a different location. Diners do not need to experience it. If you’re thinking about visiting Mexican Sugar, do it. And if you’re lucky enough to get Alejandro as your waiter, you’re in for a treat. We’ll definitely be back!

east coast guy in Texas with my son looking for apartments in the Richardson - Plano area. Many locals recommend Lockhart’s Smokehouse & it DID NOT disappoint! amazing brisket - tried every side they offered & their jalapeño popper (which someone said is called a Texas pickle) EVERYTHING was delicious. Besides the brisket - my favs were the backed beans - deviled eggs & spicy mac&cheese! Will definitely be going back when we visit our son. Staff was very helpful to us being a newcomer - bartender very helpful as well.

First time here and had an awesome experience! Delicious and tender brisket served by weight. There are plenty of tables and staff, but it's a great place to get the meats and sides to go, as well. We ordered 1/2 pound of brisket and mac & cheese and 2 great beers and ate there. It was a great first experience. The guys, Ray, Adrian and Joseph, and gal, Valerie, behind the counters provided excellent service. The food was amazing. We will be back! Thank you, Lockhart Smoke House and Ray, Adrian, Joseph and Valerie!!!

Delicious food and very friendly and welcoming staff. Brisket was on point (of course) and the mac and cheese was excellent. Jalapeno sausage had a great kick. Staff went out of their way to check on everyone and make sure everyone was doing okay.

Came here as a family because one of our cousins suggested us go to Lockheart for Texas BBQ. We did not regret that decision! The brisket was pretty moist for the most part but I would highly recommend getting “wet brisket” for maximum tenderness if I were to order again. The beef tips were amazing and super tender and the sauce is delicious. Overall the food has intense smokiness in a good way. I would highly recommend if you’re from out of state and looking for Texas BBQ with smokiness!

Edit: I should have mentioned that the bartender did come by and ask us how everything was. Maybe I should have said something, but at that point we just wanted to finish and go. Ordered some brisket, regular sausage, Lockhart twinkie, baked beans, and mac & cheese. I use to frequent this location quite often when I lived nearby. It's been a while since I've been back. I was honestly disappointed in the quality of the food. The worst was the brisket. It was so dry. It tasted like it was yesterday's meat. I did not like their sausage, but in their defense I think I'm just not a fan of smoked sausage. Of the many places that I have had it, I've only liked it from 1-2 places. I will say the texture was like biting into ground beef. The twinkie was ok. The bacon was coated with something, maybe sriracha, and I wasn't crazy about it. The baked beans were not sweet and a bit salty. The mac & cheese was very good. The restaurant itself was clean and lots of charm. The staff is always nice. Maybe I remember things differently, it has been a while, but I remember there being more than one type of sauce. Taste is subjective, but preparation is not.

I really enjoyed the ribs we ordered. They can sell them by rib or by weight. Peach cobbler was delicious and so was the Lockhart coleslaw. Order your food at the back and then go sit down.

They have a buy each items you want menu, no combos. We tried the brisket, sausage, and ribs. All had good flavor and were tender, very good over all. We also got the Mac and cheese which was great. The banana pudding doesn't beat my grandma's but it doesnt miss. Over all a good place to ear.

We had a fantastic experience at Lazydog Restaurant, dining indoors with its cozy, rustic vibe and warm lighting. The Thai Noodles were a highlight, bursting with vibrant flavors and perfectly balanced spice. The Mediterranean Chicken was tender and well-seasoned, paired beautifully with fresh veggies. The Tomato Soup was rich and comforting, a great starter. The Chicken Burger was juicy and satisfying, with crisp toppings that added great texture. The Ginger Soy Salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky with a deliciously tangy glaze. Service was friendly and attentive, keeping our table happy and well-cared for. We had such a great experience at Lazy Dog! Our server Amber was super friendly and took great care of us, and even the manager Milton came by to check in — both of them were really nice. They surprised us with a free potato chips appetizer, which was a nice touch. The food was awesome, every dish we tried tasted great, and the service was just as good. We’ve been searching for a good bar and restaurant in this area, and while most others felt kind of the same and boring, this place really stood out with its great selection, tasty food, and friendly service. Definitely a new favorite spot!

First time coming to this place! Amazing! Went to the one off Preston Rd in Plano.....Savanna our waitress was beyond incredible. Jeremiah, the manager, was fabulous. As first time guest we received a free chip cerviche (I'm sure my auto correct has changed the wording) but nonetheless, this place rocks in atmosphere, decor, management, service. We ordered the pot roast hot dipped sandwich and the other reviewer order the fireside favorites of friend chicken with a stores brownie. Let me tell you, the portions are perfect, and the tab not hard on the wallet. If your thinking on eating out....try Lazy dog. 👍

Stopped in for a late-night happy hour at Lazy Dog and had such a great experience! The Cadillac Margaritas were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick, and the salted rim made them extra refreshing. We also ordered the chips and queso—creamy, flavorful, and the chips had a nice crunch with a hint of seasoning that paired perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, even late in the evening, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s the perfect spot to wind down with good drinks and shareable bites. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a happy hour spot!

My best friend and I stopped by for lunch today and the food was AWESOME! Scratch kitchen with fresh food! The manager and staff are VERY attentive and friendly, which was such a relief since it’s my first time here. The watermelon margaritas are a 10/10, I ended up getting the pulled pork sandwich and onion rings. The sauce that comes with the rings is yummy and the sandwich was awesome. She ended up getting the loco moco fried rice, I took a a bite and ended up taking an extra order to go for myself because it’s that good! The service was actually great they even refunded the meal, which I appreciated. But the food itself was a disaster. My order came out extra burnt, like I didn’t know “charcoal” was a topping option. It was my first time eating here, and unfortunately, they also messed up my nephew’s meal not once, but twice. First it was burnt, then the replacement came back undercooked. I really wanted to like this place, but based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

The Tito’s lavender lemonade was a low point and so what the blackened chicken on the Santa Fe salad. The quality of both were fine but they both left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for more dressing because it was so light that we weren’t sure if there was any on the salad. The rest of the food was solid. Really no complaints. It’s worth a visit if you want variety and a great atmosphere. The staff were also excellent. Overall, really just disappointed in the drink and the salad. The messy restrooms are things that happen sometimes so your mileage may vary. We’d be willing to try again and see if the other dishes were better. Most people aren’t going to dislike their visit. I’d give it a 3.5 if Google let me. Overall, food was fine and everything else was better.

We came at a good time. He was able to let us taste some of the multiple beers on tap to make sure we made a good selection. We got the stuffed mushrooms, yummy. We tried the cheese bread also was wonderful with the warm marinara sauce for dipping. We tried 2 different pizzas that were both just as good. Nice to have a variety. We will be back.

We went in for a late evening snack/dinner and a few drinks. “Grace” the bar tender was absolutely amazing. She explained to us they infused their tequila for Margaritas and their own vodka for Bloody Mary’s. She let us try a few samples and they were amazing. We ordered Buffalo Shrimp and a Pizza which came out promptly cooked to perfection. Definitely would go back. Oh and they had live music.

Great atmosphere feels like rustic Italy! The food was excellent. We each ordered a pizza and it was so delicious. Tye sauce was done just right, not overdone. The ingredients were top notch. We went Thursday later and no reservations needed but if its a busy Saturday night, plan ahead and reserve your place.

Artisan Pizza in a big beer hall. Perfect for a family and friends hang out. Noisy, crowded, a fun place to be. A true Texas vibe. It is hotter than hell today. I got lucky, A parking spot right up front. know what I want before we even get seated. On the sandwich board out front, a special, “Green Chili Smoked Brisket Pizza.” How Texas is that? That may not meet the proper definition of a pizza. I ain’t passing that up. Inside busy. A few minutes to wait and we were seated in the bar area. We started the meal with a big Warm Taverna Pretzel, while our Pink Piggy and Green Chili Smoked Brisket pizzas took a ride through the oven. That pretzel is good. Spicey mustard perfect. Queso meh, pass on that next time. A little wait time and the pizzas arrived. Check the pictures. My wife and daughter loved the Pink Piggy. I couldn’t adapt to the Rosemary Honey Butter. Sweet on pizza just doesn’t seem right. The Green Chili Smoked Brisket Pizza met my expectations. An unusual smokey spicey Texas pizza oddity. I liked it! The service was a little slow but adequate. The bar tender was also our server. He was loaded up keeping the beer flowing.

As I've enjoyed take-out pizza from mostly family owned pizza joints to bring home, I've thought I would like to dine at a real pizza restaurant. So I start hovering around Google Maps and found Taverna Rossa with their exceptional rating and set eyes on The Classic Rossa and thought "I got to try that!" I ordered it on my first visit and was blown away! Chicken, artichokes, and roma tomato is my personal favorite combination of ingredients for any type of dish, but on a pizza was a great hit! Next visit I had the Queen Margherita as the margherita has always been a favorite and they make it great! They also have delicious side salads and appetizers to start off with and an excellent selection of wine to pair with their wonderful pizzas! I can't wait to return to try a different pizza!

This was AI recommendation and we are pleased. We ordered gluten free pizza thin crust. All flavors were delicious. We ordered half All American and half Tuscan. And two kids cheese pizza. Parking was easy and there are more restaurant around. We will come back.

Great place, the atmosphere is inviting and relaxed. Great decoration and the patio make you feel like you are not in the city. The value equation is unparalleled. All the staff is nice and willing to walk the extra mile, from the hostess who found us a table in the patio to the waitress who was helpful. Definitely, we will come back!

I love trying new restaurants, and I came across this place through an Instagram reel. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great when it’s not too hot in Dallas. We checked in at the front desk to get our name on the list. Since we went during peak hours, they told us there might be a 15 to 30 minute wait, which was fine. We were seated in under 15 minutes! Our server was super friendly. Since it was our first time there, we asked for recommendations, and she suggested the Pink Piggy and the Bees Knees pizzas. They didn’t take long at all to come out, and both were a hit! I also noticed they have Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., definitely something I’d come back for. On Friday night, they had live music, which added a nice touch. Even with the music, we were able to have a conversation during dinner, and overall, the place had a great vibe.

Nice joint, a sports bar with enough space, Great set up for the TVs are great and the waitresses are friendly and attentive. FOOD GREAT. I GOT the Boch Fosh and chips woth cream corn which is great. My lady for the French onion dip and roast beef sandwiches which are great. Great Vibes, alot big TVs to 😉 enjoy

Tried this place for the first time on Super Bowl Sunday. The Atmosphere was great, plenty of TV’s to show the Super Bowl, the waitresses were busy but still made it a point to be nice and attentive, although when it comes to service from upper management and the food, it raises eyebrows. We ordered the chicken bites for $14.00, and we’re alarmed at the serving size as it seemed it may had been mistaken by one off of the kids menu by the size of the serving, but when we addressed it with the Manager Matt, who judging by his size would agree with our claims of it being a small serving size, he disagreed and made sure to proudly stand by their serving sizes. I’ll be continuing to take my business to Twins.

The food was great that my server recommended to me when asked what was good. My server Ashley was awesome and great conversation and very nice. The atmosphere was also good with nice scenic views and many TVs around to watch also. Definitely will be going back .

Don't waste your time. There's a few okay looking women but nothing to write home about. The boneless wings were small chicken mcnuggets. The beers were okay. I guess it's fine to go and watch a game there, but DON'T go out of you way. Not worth it. We came from Irving, and will never make that long drive again. Tilted kilt and hooters are just as good.If not better.

Great! The kids had a wonderful time. If you want to laugh at your adolescents take them here. The amount of embarrassment is worth it! I thought this was a more sublime Hooters setting. I was wrong. This place is a lingerie-clad semi-nude atmosphere. I would highly recommend it.

This is a nice, chill place for a relaxed evening with beer and snacks. It may not be for everyone, as the women are in bikini dresses, but it offers a very calm and friendly environment. My small group of friends and I went for a relaxed evening, and we enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and drinks.

Absolutely loved our experience, food and service tonight (as always). Sydney, Cher, and Hannah were great bartenders, we have great service no matter who is working (I do miss Ana though!) - plenty of TVs to watch any and every game, it’s exactly the volume you’d expect, loud but not so loud you can’t talk. The food is always good from apps, entrees, sides and desserts I’ve had just about everything on the menu.

Second time at this place and I was happy both times. We had the same waitress (Ebony) and she’s awesome, attentive with a great personality! Will definitely be requesting her when I come back. ❤️ Got a side salad and wings both times (I definitely recommend the mango habanero flavor) and tried the Bjs. 🤤

The owner Jason was amazing!! Alert and Brock😍🥰 they’re phenomenal bartenders, we had such an amazing time celebrating my sisters birthday. This was a amazing!! Check them out every Tuesday & Wednesday!

I chose this place due to the cute drinks that were on their site. The bartender (she was sweet) denied having the product nor particular alcohol to make the drinks on the site. So, I decided on what’s pictured. I ordered buffalo wings.. no fries included but it does come with ranch, a couple of carrots, and celery. The music selection is very 2010 Dallas, which I guess is what most of the patrons want to hear. The bathroom was clean, there is no cover charge, and I felt safe. There is security throughout the building as well as outside. Would I return? Unsure.

This place has amazing drink specials. The service was great; however, on the one day we went they didn’t have a kitchen staff so we couldn’t try any of their food. I’ll have to come and visit on another day. It’s interesting that they only had one person to work the kitchen.

Excellent spot for Happy Hour or just a quick drink. I’ve never had the same drink twice here. Recommend letting the bartenders do their thing — just tell them what type of liquor or drink you normally prefer. Fun to watch them work, as well.

We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday and had a great time. The only downside was there was a sewer odor that night. I’ve been there a few times and never experienced it before so not sure what was going on that night. Drinks are reasonably priced. There is limited seating if you get there late but the music is good and it gets pretty crowded the later it gets.

The service, atmosphere and drinks are perfect. The night I went every table had reservations though. Only area for those who walk in is a small table island where you stand. I didn’t try the food. If I do get a table reservation next time I’m in the area I will update this review. I can recommend this place for their unique drinks for now.

Stopped in to get a bite to eat but the kitchen was closed (9:30 pm). Yep, get it because it’s the night before Thanksgiving. We ordered 2 drinks…Patron Margarita and Blue moon. My friend visiting from Atlanta, who is a well known DJ said his drink had very little Patron. I took a sip and it tasted like a sour candy jaw breaker. For $25, which they absurdly auto charged 20%, I would think they would have made some better drinks with at least some alcohol. I can’t recommend coming here for drinks.

If you're on the hunt for a quintessential pub experience, look no further than Rugby House Pub in Plano, Texas. This charming spot captures the essence of a traditional British pub with its dark wood decor and cozy atmosphere adorned with rugby memorabilia. The long oak bar is perfect for enjoying an impressive selection of craft beers and international brews while indulging in delicious burgers, sandwiches, and classic pub fare.
This is such a cool and chill atmosphere. If you're in the mood for a dimly lit and chill pade to grab some good pub food and cold drinks, this is the spot. The fish and chips are SOOOO good. The batter is not super thick and it is cooked to perfection. I am so glad I found this spot. This is going to be my local bar.

I think this place is highly underrated! The place has an amazing atmosphere, typical pub though. It’s very chill and has booth and regular tables. It can seat small and large parties. It’s on the smaller size though, and they don’t take reservations. The food is really good, it was tasty and fresh, and service was prompt and attentive. They have a good selection of beers, and cocktails. If you want to watch a game and just enjoy some good company while being able to talk, this is the place!

Rugby House Pub in Plano stands out as the quintessential pub experience in North Dallas. Its unrivaled reputation stems from a harmonious blend of key elements. First and foremost, the warm, convivial atmosphere creates an inviting haven for patrons seeking camaraderie and good times. The pub's commitment to authenticity shines through in its selection of fine ales, stouts, and ciders, curated from local breweries and beyond. What truly sets Rugby House apart, however, is its devotion to live sports. With multiple screens broadcasting games, it's a sanctuary for sports enthusiasts. The pub's hearty, delectable menu further solidifies its position, offering a diverse array of classic pub fare, all prepared with a deft, gourmet touch. All these facets converge to make Rugby House Pub the unrivaled destination for those in search of an authentic pub experience in North Dallas.

Good quality Guinness, not overcrowded, lots of parking spaces. Food was better than average. Unfortunately, they have a Union Jack up on the wall near the front door which is unacceptable if they are trying to be an authentic Irish bar. I won't be returning.

If you are reading reviews to see if you should go….just go! The food is amazing, atmosphere is on point and the conversation is amazing. The bar is big enough that you can socialize if you want or be a loaner and enjoy some of the best food I have ever had. We went during a recent visit from Atlanta and I wish we had a neighborhood place like this! After getting dinner the first night, we went back the next day for brunch, and again on our last night in town. The staff is amazing and you couldn’t find better owners, regulars, food or drinks. Again, just go…now!

Love, love, love this place!!! I have been coming here for YEARS, and for good reason!!!! So many regulars, which speaks volumes about a place. Gwen is the absolute best bartender and is a staple of the establishment. Drinks are great, food is amazing, during the afternoon the noise level is very quiet. The regulars are friendly. The bathrooms are always clean and smell good lol, which is a rarity for a bar. I can't say enough positive things!! Great for a group of friends, a date, a meeting, or even working remote. C'mon in and give it a go😁!!!

The most lovely experience I've ever had. It was band night and the band was absolutely amazing. Seeing all the people so happy, joyous and just filled with glee was just beautiful. Our server Brett was amazing, it was so busy and he still found time to check in on us which was great. The food was delicious and yummy, beers were cold and lovely. The atmosphere was just superb and I definitely recommend a visit to Plano Sports Tavern. Definitely a 5***** for me.

I was there for quick bites, the place had live band, old and decent crowd. Tried to order vegetarian food but not lot much of option so end up ordering pizza which came out really well. I like the gesture for complimentary beer without asking as they don’t have options for vegetarian food. Suggestions: vegetarian and vegan is big market you are missing

I recently visited this bar in Plano with a good friend for a casual day out. We sat at the bar, enjoyed a few drinks, and played bingo — it was a low-key day. To my surprise, when I politely asked for another round, the bartender told me I was being cut off. I had not acted disruptive or intoxicated in any way, and I was calm, respectful, and simply enjoying the day. What made the experience even more disappointing was the bartender’s attitude. She abruptly snatched my tab off the bar without a word and then went outside to confront my best friend about me — which felt incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary. I’m someone who always shows respect to service staff, and I didn’t feel that was returned. The situation was awkward, uncomfortable, and frankly unjustified. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others seeking a welcoming atmosphere.

Parkway Tavern and Grill is a laid-back spot perfect for game days, offering a variety of pub food and beers on tap. The menu features an array of options including burgers, sandwiches, fried catfish, breakfast tacos, wings, nachos, loaded queso, and Texas BBQ. The drink selection includes popular American beers as well as imports and local craft favorites. Guests can also enjoy patio seating while indulging in their meals.
I honestly really like this place, however, my recent seemed like a bit of a downgrade. The chicken tenders used to taste really good being juicy and meaty, but the meat this time around had a bit of a blandness to it. I honestly think they need to improve on their chicken tenders because they used to be really good. And while their service wasn’t bad, actually pretty good in fact, they didn’t have a sign saying to order from the bar. And at no point did they have a waiter come out to take my order and/or take the food from my table. It’s not a deal breaker, but you need to let your customers know this before they sit down. Aside from improving their service and their chicken tenders, I still have very good things to say about this place. It’s just a slight dip in quality, which if changed then my ratings & review can definitely be readjusted.

I came here looking for the spicy calamari and found out the online menu didn't match the actual menu, bummer. When I asked the bartender, I think his name was Mike, about the item, he apologized and stated that a lot of people call asking for items that's on the menu at the location in New Orleans, I don't want them that bad, so I ordered the fried pickles and chicken tenders. I placed my food order, and it came out quickly, it was nice and hot. The pickles were nicely seasoned which i really enjoyed but the tenders didn't taste seasoned at all and some of the parts were too crispy and hard to chew felt as if I was chewing pebbles. Honestly though it was only one tender that tasted like that, the rest were pretty good. The bar has a great neighborhood bar vibe that's makes it feels welcoming. You can tell some of the patrons or regulars because the staff knew a lot of them by name. The staff was very attentive, when Mike noticed my glass was empty, he didn't hesitate to ask if I wanted another one. Also, Heather noticed also and even though she wasn't the bartender waiting on me, she refilled my drink also, they are on point. Also Saturday night is karaoke which is also great so make sure you have your songs to sing. My only negating was the old guy with the raspy voice acting like he owned the place, you can tell he's a regular he even tried to get me to move my seat but besides for that, great place great vibes, ENJOY

This place reeked of sewer. Their chicken tenders were hard and dry as a rock, my drinks would be totally empty, and the bartenders couldn’t be bothered to ask if I wanted another drink, not from being busy or anything there’ was only five of us at the bar at the time.

I went with a buddy. We waited over 10 minutes to get a drink order, even though they weren't busy. We ordered some fried pickles that had a hair fried inside the batter, not on the outside. I was also double charged for my tab, and I had to report it to the bank, as they never reached out about it. Definitely liked the bar it used to be before the name change.

I recommend The Brass Tap if you’re looking for a chill spot to try new beers and enjoy good food at reasonable prices. It’s great for groups, casual dates, or post-work hangouts. The food exceeded my expectations. The music was at a good volume—enough to create energy but still easy to talk over. There are TVs throughout the venue for watching sports, and the outdoor patio is very comfortable, even in summer. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive, even during a busy night. ❤️The Brass Tap restaurant is the best❤️

Food (pizza) decent. Atmosphere - as you stayed out side it’s okay. Service - horrible. Ended up carting my own drinks, placing my own order at the bar because no line was working outside for rent minutes. One other note, the music they play is extensive unless you’re from the hood. Hate to say it but save yourself frustration and stay away.

She was very attentive, gave excellent food recommendations (the Buffalo chicken salad was delicious) and even though it was quite busy, she made sure our drinks were always full. Food came out hot and fast as well. I was extremely impressed by All server. Normally when you got to a similar establishment you are treated like a number or a meal ticket. She took the time to listen to my babbling and took my order and had food out so fast it was so hot and nice. The Managment was on timely manners and table touched multiple times and also invited me to play multiple games. This is my second home.

I always like to stop at familiar places to have a beer. I've never been to this location, so I thought I so and see what it was like. It was middle of the day at 330, so I get it was slow, but the bartender was more interested in her phone than serving the bar. One beer and then I'm out.

It’s alright… The burger was okay. If this place fails, it will be because of the waitresses. Non attentive. They make you feel like how dare you interrupt them from their talking just by coming in. Sorry for spending money. People don’t go to hooters or tight ends or soon to be twin peaks because of the food, for the most part. The waitresses are friendlier. It’s a shame because knockouts has decent food. The waitresses attitudes ruins the experience.

Only had 2 servers and 2 bartenders for the whole restaurant during the UFC 299 pay per view. Sat myself and took over 25 minutes to have my order taken, another 20 minutes to receive my food. Servers seemed friendly but overwhelmed, and I don’t blame them. Clean location and solid menu, but would not recommend unless staffed properly.

Extremely Disappointed – Nothing Like the Mesquite Location I’m honestly shocked by how bad my recent visit to Knockout Sports Bar was. I’ve been a loyal fan of Knockouts for years, especially the now-closed Mesquite location, which I used to hit every single week without fail. The wings were always on point — crispy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I liked them. Unfortunately, the experience I had at this current location was nowhere near the standard Knockouts is known for. I came in midday — the place was nearly empty, so I expected solid service and fresh food. I specifically ordered a 12-piece of my favorite crispy, breaded wings. Instead, what came out was the total opposite: dry, naked, overcooked wings that were damn near inedible. No flavor, no breading, just dry and burnt. I forced myself to eat two just to be sure it wasn’t a fluke, but they were horrible. The worst part? No one checked on me. My server disappeared after dropping off the food and never once came by to ask how everything was. Not even a casual glance. I had to flag her down just to get the check, and when I finally did, she didn’t ask if everything was okay or if there was an issue — she just asked if I wanted a box. I told her no, clearly upset, and even then there was zero effort to understand or fix the situation. For a place I’ve supported for years — and for food I’ve raved about — this visit felt like nobody cared about my business or my experience. If I could give zero stars, I would. Management: I hope you see this. I’m not some random first-timer complaining. I know what Knockouts wings are supposed to taste like. If the food has changed this much and the service has dropped off this bad, something needs to be addressed. Because as it stands now, I won’t be coming back — and that’s a shame.

i dont know her name but she had a white bow, green crop and jean shorts. i waited 15 minutes for w straw for my drink- on too i had to ask for water 3 times. coming from a server and bar manager ive never seen a server stand at a table and talk with a guy instead of attending to your table. we come to knockouts all the time. but this experience was actually disappointing i get it if she was new but not one time did she apologize for the late convince of anything. we had also ordered a shot? still havent gotten it lol.

It was okay. It was one waiter for the whole place, which is no fault to our waitress. She was attentive much as we needed her to be. I had the champ (which was the chicken sandwich) and boyfriend had the k.o. burger. Both were just okay. Food was hot and fresh.

McNeal's Tavern & Eatery is a popular spot in downtown Plano, known for its welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The staff, particularly Tom, are praised for their exceptional service and attention to detail when setting up events. The menu offers a variety of tasty options including egg rolls, Scotch eggs, wings with flavorful sauce, and an amazing berry french toast not listed on the menu. While the TVs usually show racing and dog competition shows, the friendly ambiance makes it feel like Cheers.
Ordered the classic reuben sandwich and a half order of the fish and chips. The sandwich was very good. They don't use Russian or Thosusand Island dressing. instead of a whole or a spear pickle, it's served with pickle chips. Personally, I prefer the pickle chips because I like them inside my sandwich. The fish was very good as well. It's a bit on the salty side in a good way. The saltiness with the tarter sauce mesh well. Both plates came with shoestring fries. They were fried and salted just right. The fries were so good, too. The bar/restaurant has a lot of charm. It has that worn down good feeling look and very inviting. The only thing better was the service. The staff were very friendly, and everyone would come by and check up on us. It's definitely a place I will be coming back to.

A delightful pub and restaurant in the heart of downtown Plano . Very reasonably priced and freindly place . Spacious , relaxed atmosphere with a big bar and sizable seating area in and outside . The patio outside has nice seating area . Big selection of drinks and beers , more than 30 draft beer options including local beers. Lots of other bourbon and liquor options. Food is actually good . Tried the chicken fried chicken and the chicken tenders , both were great. Burgers seem to be good but did not try them as it seems there is pork meat mixed with the burger patty . Chicken wings were ok not great . Need more spicing inside.but they were crispy enough . They have karaoke night on Fridays which was a lot of fun . Bartenders were freindly and one of them sings while performing a song on the karaoke I , which was lots of fun . Highly recommended

Super casual place in downtown Plano. Short-staffed, but we had a very hard working waitress. Bravo for handling so many people at the same time. Pictured are the Scotch Eggs. Fyi- this small, bite sized dish was too big to finish. Worth the money for this hard to find item in Plano.

Really liked the outdoor/indoor feel of the place when the large glass garage door is opened. As a first timer, it was a little confusing without a host stand - just take a seat and someone will come to you. They have some good imports on tap and highly recommend the McNeal's special, which is a mixed meat burger that is super juicy.

One of the best burgers I have ever had in my life! My husband had the chicken fried chicken and it was not bad but the burger takes the cake. So good we took one to go and had it for breakfast the next day .It was cold and still delicious. Our server was so nice, I think he name was Logan but if not I'm sorry. He was so polite and helped us with food recommendations. We will definitely come back again and again. It gets a little busier as the night goes on so if you like it quieter try around 8 but if you like to party try after 10. Great vibes and nice little place. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Have been here several times. Two times at lunch and once on a Saturday night to listen to live music. Lunch is really nice time to eat. Not too crowded . Not too loud . They have a lunch menu of all items <$13. Today I tried the spaghetti bolognese. Turned out to be pretty good and tasty for a pub. It was also filling. Came with two garlic bread. Good stuff. Previously had the meatballs. Really really good. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures. The live venue was good and crowded. It’s a smaller place so the band was really loud in the area. It probably depends on the music and your preference.

Oh how the island needs a good idea and place like this (could be). They try. It is fairly new maybe a little over a month. I have been in twice hoping the first time was just a miss. They need a cook, period. The food on both occasions is bland, and just blah. I had the chicken fried steak, kid had the brisket tacos and wife shared the spinach artichoke dip. The servers are friendly and try but have not been trained well at all and that goes double for the cooks. Food is everything and this has none. The CFS was tasteless, the mash potatoes were not even warm, almost like been sitting awhile and presentation showed that. It is like it was made and sat for awhile . The tacos were ok. The dip was very bland and again, no taste. Put "The Spots" artichoke dip and this side by side and you will see a difference in look and taste. And I do not like The Spot, it is over rated and appealing with the views only. Anyway, needless to say we didn't eat the dip or the CFS and no one cared. And that is fine. We still tip well and moved on. The second trip, different time, no kids. Much of the same. Beers good, atmosphere is good, but just get better at the food. The service will get better if you care. That can be easily done with good people, and they have that I think, and incentivizing them well. So hope this helps and turns this place around because I so want to like it and it be a good place to go and hang on the west end. There is not much around that is actually good. Trust me.

McNeal’s Tavern and Eatery in historic downtown Plano is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you’re hit with serious vibes reminiscent of the 80s TV show Cheers. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. A special shout-out to Lo, David, Emily, and Logan, who are tremendous! Their impressive karaoke skills are an unexpected delight that adds to the charm of this place. And if you’re a fan of shuffleboard, you’ll be thrilled to find a piece of history here. The table from East Dallas’ beloved Elbow Room (RIP). McNeal’s Tavern is a perfect spot for a fun night out, filled with great people, nostalgic atmosphere, and unforgettable moments. Highly recommend!

Cafe Gecko Eastside, owned by Dennis Dial, is a popular spot in downtown Plano. The antique bar from its previous location adds to the charm. The menu features handmade stuffed jalapenos and unique cocktails like the Mexican Candy and Lizzarita. Customers praise the thoughtful service, with one mentioning how their friend's plain water was served with an umbrella and lime.
I’m so glad we chose this place! We are visiting from San Antonio and they caught my attention because it was open late and I said any place that has a “sammich” on their menu is worth checking out. 😁 Great friendly service and atmosphere. Delicious food and homemade honey mustard was so good.

I’ve been eagerly waiting for this place to open, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! I used to visit the Gecko in Addison all the time, and it’s great to see so many friendly faces here. The staff is always so welcoming, and there’s a real sense of community when you walk in. Every time I come, I’m always impressed by the quality and flavors. It’s fantastic to have Gecko so close by—feels like a local gem. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on the Chicken Tortilla Soup—hands down the best in Dallas! Definitely a must-try.

Always wanted to come here since I've heard so many good things. We came around lunch which was perfect since it tends to be crowded during the evenings. My friend wasn't drinking due to cancer treatments so our server Jessica (who didn't know this) served her plain water drink drink extra special with an umbrella and lime. This was so cute and thoughtful. We both ordered from the lunch menu where she had the Poblano Chicken and I had the Santiago Beef. Both were delicious and we couldn't eat another bite. The atmosphere was great since it wasn't crowded which made it perfect for conversation. There is a patio as well where you can catch the band playing or people watch. Will be coming back!!

Had a pretty bad experience here, the seats were dirty and covered in crumbs, our server ignored us for a while although the restaurant was pretty empty and hardly explained some pieces of the menu when asked, when the food came out it was pretty bad and inedible, with the exception of the nachos which were decent. Would avoid and I would not return. Unfortunate. Plenty of parking.

Food is good, the bartender was terrible. Overheard her talking about getting fired from Applebee's, I could see why. Asked for the check and watched her input all of her tips from the night for 10 minutes first. The other location is way better, and they are 5 out of 5.

Great ambiance and quick service. We went on Mother's Day and had a reservation for 7 pm. The restaurant was not ridiculously packed, and the customer service was great. I did not like how we only had one menu and no other options. The entire meal was expensive ($175) for myself and two children (teenagers). We received starters, appetizers, and three entrees topped off with a trio desserts. I won't come back for a holiday or special occasion, but I will return for the lasagna (the best thing on the menu.

✨ Our dining experience at Maggiano’s was absolutely amazing! ✨ From the moment we were seated, our waitress, the sweet Sanjee, made us feel so warm and welcomed. Absolutely loved my dining experience at Maggiano's in Plano! From the moment we arrived, our waiter Andrew provided incredible service and an engaging atmosphere that made us feel special throughout our meal. He had a great sense of humor and sprinkled fun conversation throughout the night, sharing stories about his favorite dishes and giving recommendations that were spot on. We started with the Wagyu Beef Meatballs, which were rich and flavorful, setting the perfect tone for the evening. Then, we couldn't resist trying the Famous Rigatoni "D"®, and it certainly lived up to its reputation—deliciously hearty and indulgent! Andrew even joked that it could be a new food group! The Spaghetti & Wagyu Beef Meatball paired wonderfully with it, making it a highlight. For a touch of creamy goodness, the Rigatoni alla Vodka was an absolute hit, and we appreciated the well-balanced flavors. To top off our meal, we enjoyed a Smoked Old Fashioned, which was expertly crafted and the perfect way to unwind. Andrew even shared a fun tip on how to make it at home—if only I could replicate his magic! And of course, we couldn't leave without indulging in the Chocolate Layered Cake—decadent and rich, it was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal! Andrew was right; it’s the ideal treat for chocolate lovers! I highly recommend Maggiano's for a delightful dining experience. Thank you, Andrew, for making our night entertaining and memorable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Restaurant
Yao Fuzi Cuisine is a high-end restaurant that offers a fusion of creative Chinese cooking with French and Italian influences. The elegant yet casual ambiance, marked by dramatic red walls and tablecloths, sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The menu boasts a wide array of choices, featuring traditional Chinese dishes alongside specialty drinks. One standout dish recommended by patrons is the crispy beef, known as their signature dish.
I visited this place for the first time and loved it. The atmosphere inside is awesome - dimmed lights, fish tank, authentic decoration. I ordered jellyfish and duck as a food and a Copper Rose cocktail. Everything was spot on. Jellyfish was crunchy, juicy and had a vibrant taste. The duck was extremely juicy, this was probably the first time I actually enjoyed a duck. The cocktail was just fine. The prices here are on the higher end, but considering the food quality, I think this is fine for a special occasion.

Fantastic meal at Yao Fuzi in Plano! We had such a great dining experience—from the flavorful food to the excellent service. The jalapeño chicken was packed with heat and flavor, while the Kung Pao chicken was perfectly savory with just the right amount of spice and crunch. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, and paired beautifully with the dipping sauces. To top it off, we enjoyed a glass (or two) of a smooth 2021 FZI Pinot Noir—great wine selection! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the evening even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for elevated Chinese cuisine in Plano!

Genuinely really great Chinese food! I was a little skeptical after seeing so many dishes from other Asian cuisines on the menu, but whoever the cook is likely is just a great cook in general. I ordered the Stir Fried Green Beans, Pan Fried Duck with Mandarin Sauce, and Yao Fuzi's Fried Rice. The green beans are the best I've managed to find in the DFW area. A rare case of them actually being cooked properly with a crunchy texture and great flavor. The Duck was delicious and cooked excellently. It was melt in your mouth tender with perfectly rendered fat. I only wish it was seasoned slightly more, but it seems like they want you to really rely on the Mandarin sauce, which was good. I guess the fried rice, which was their own style, was the least outstanding. It doesn't really seem to have a lot of components and looks really homogenously yellow at first glance. The flavor was good but not as good as the other two dishes.

This was my very first visit to this establishment. PB has been here before several years ago and told me that it’s fancy and food was good. My hair was messy, bc it’s been raining and yucky and have been running errands since the morning. We were seated right away by a nice hostess lady. Our server(older Chinese woman with a short hair)was very short and abrupt kept coming back every few seconds to take our order when in fact I hadn’t had time to look over the menu. She was very impatient even after I told her this was my first time coming here. When we decided to order and I told her I wanted Za Jiang noodles, but didn’t want pork, she said pork was already in a sauce. I didnt even want to ask her if I could have it with different sauce with no meat, bc I knew she wasn’t even going to accommodate me. I told her PB wants a big bowl of egg drop soup and she said “we don’t do that!”. She said it’s small or medium and comes with a meal, so we got 2 medium and I gave him mine. We ordered shrimp and crab fried rice. My crab fried rice was decent, but PB’s shrimp fried rice was bland, 4 shrimp and lots of peas and carrots and he didn’t like it. He put soy sauce on his fried rice like the White guy from the movie, Joy Luck Club, but it still was bland. How do you mess up shrimp fried rice in this fancy, expensive Chinese eatery? The impatient lady didn’t serve us anymore and we got another one. She looked poisoned each time he asked for Coke. I got hot sauce from a nice male server and the hot oil was very hot! The only nice thing the female server did was to put my food in a container. No smile, nothing. I felt that those 2 female servers were very snobbish towards us from the beginning and I don’t appreciate to be treated in a such way, especially this is a so-called high end Chinese restaurant. I find their behavior to be very unprofessional and unpleasant. They were very unfriendly and unwelcome and I really didn’t enjoy the dining experience because of them. Besides that, I’m glad I got to experience how they treated us with snobbery, so we know not to return. We will continue to go to Zhang’s Asian Bistro Kitchen where we’re welcome, staff/owner are nice and food is excellent.
Hanahime1027 — Google review
Verdict: felt the place was too overpriced for they’re serving. Here’s what we got: Apps: - Blue Crab and Cheese Wontons: very little blue crab and cheese. We could mainly taste the crispness of the wonton - Spicy Ahi Tuna with Asian Pear Summer Rolls: all we could taste here was lettuce and tuna and mainly the lettuce. Entrees: - Crispy beef: good but not worth $34 - Fuzi prawn: way too sweet. Side: - lo mein: For $9, I expected way more noodles than what we got. In fact, for that price, I would’ve expected the lo mein to include vegetables as well. The restaurant itself was dimly lit and had thoughtful decor, but I don’t think that should be reasoning for higher pricing. Our server was kind, but service overall was slow.

One of the best restaurants in DFW. If you’re within 1 hour of Yao Fuzi it’s worth the drive. With such an expansive menu, it’s incredible that everything can be so good. Usually great food is at restaurants with like 10 things to eat. Here, there’s a huge selection and everything is fresh and delicious. You can’t miss the Crispy Beef or Fuzi Prawn. We come here once a week and bring friends whenever we can. It’s basically a Plano institution. Friendly staff, friendly service, and absolutely delicious food.

First time to try this place for lunch. I ordered the mapo tofu and the Za jiang Mian noodles (reminded me of Korean black bean noodles). The Mapo Tofu was very good! My two dishes were not lunch optional. My friends had the lunch special jalapeno chicken, Singapore noodles, sesame chicken, and Gen Yao's chicken. Everyone enjoyed their food. I don't mind coming back to try some of their other dishes.

Henry's Homemade Ice Cream is a delightful gem nestled in Plano, Texas, that has been delighting taste buds since 1992. Known for its unique and imaginative flavors, this beloved ice cream shop offers everything from classic vanilla to adventurous concoctions like Hog Wild—cinnamon ice cream packed with caramel and bacon! With massive scoops served in creative cones such as pretzel and chocolate chip, every visit promises a fun experience.
Henry’s offers old standbys and creative new flavors of ice cream. The name says homemade and it tastes homemade. I can taste the milk fat. We visited on a cold January day to buy an ice cream cake. The cake was nicely decorated. Some reviews have said the service was not good. That was not our experience. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

I went with my mom yesterday for the first time. Service was so friendly and they were generous and encouraging with the samples. I ended up getting a sundae with spumoni ice cream (that had pistachios and cherries mixed in!) and my mom got pecan praline in a chocolate dipped cone. It was so good and we will definitely be back to the more flavors. The ice cream is made in-house and definitely tasted fresh. They had the classic flavors plus a bunch of interesting combos I’d like to try next time.
Breann B — Google review
Let me start off by saying the ice cream was good. It tasted just like homemade ice cream should. That being said it wasn’t worth the price. It was over 13$ for two single scoops in waffle cones……. That’s kind of where our visit went down hill. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t mind spending money for quality things. But that’s a bit much for two scoops of ice cream. I mean, that’s two tubs of bluebell. Which a half gallon of theirs is $18 so how does two scoops for $13 makes sense. Also, the presentation in the cooler was less than appealing. The ice cream was very runny very fast. Which I do expect from homemade so that’s not a huge deal but everything seemed very dated in this place and not in the good ways. I mean, I’ve paid $18 for a milkshake and felt like it was worth it. This was not that though. I mean, not even having a free water cup spent after I just spent $13 on two scoops of ice cream is ridiculous. When walking in there’s a giant sign talking crap about Chase Bank. I understand they did your business wrong but that’s part of doing business. Don’t make it the communities problem.

Zenna Thai & Japanese Restaurant is a bustling establishment that offers a range of Japanese and Thai cuisine, along with desserts and late-night service. This popular spot has garnered praise from various sources, including word-of-mouth recommendations. Recently, I had the opportunity to try this eatery myself and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of both the food and service. Daniel, who manned the bar, provided exceptional care throughout my visit.
It's one of my favorite Asian fusion restaurants. They have good variety. The sushi isn't bad for the price. My favorite is the Thai menu (you have to askstafffor it). I believe this is one of their strong point of interest. And its great to have late hours on the weekend. The service is always excellent, and the food is always consistent.

My husband and I found this place while looking for something close to our hotel. It was a quick drive, and we arrived at a good time as it was not busy. We were seated immediately, and our server was quick with menus and took our order within 5 minutes of sitting down. My husband got the yellow tail sushi roll and a side of steamed Gyoza. Bothe were very good. I ordered the Thai noodles with chicken and #3 spice level. It was a huge portion with lots of flavor. The heat level was a little low for my liking, but I never know how they actually measure their spiciness. I would probably get a 5 next time, but all of it was delicious.

What nice little surprise this place was! Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good, no doubt. We ordered Spicy Thai basil fried rice, miso soup, chicken broccoli with passion fruit margarita & coconut water. Whether you're dining in, taking out, or ordering delivery, Zenna never disappoints. When they're busy the service isn't great but it doesn't stop me from coming back. The food is "comfort Dallas Thai" and we all seem to love it. Open late, happy hour, and bomb thai tea.

A friend of mine was having his birthday dinner here and invited my wife and I. He has been telling me about this restaurant, and we've been excited to try it out. For starters, we had the Steamed Tulip Dumplings, Yakitori Chicken, and the Crab Rangoon Dip. My favorite was the Yakitori Chicken, but they were all very good. We also had the Tom-Kha Soup, and it was flavorful and amazing. We will definitely be getting it again. Next, we had the Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice. I was kinda skeptical about it, but after I tried it, I was sorry that I didn't try it sooner. Pineapple goes great in fried rice. For dessert, we had the Fried Bananas and the Sweet Black Sticky Rice. The fried bananas were good, but everyone loved the sweet black sticky rice. The whole meal was great and the service was amazing, they were short staffed and our waitress Dolly was the only one there working all the tables and she did an amazing job. We will definitely be coming back.

Honestly, I wish I could give 0 stars because the manager was very rude tonight when I spoke with her. I ordered takeout. And it was soup. Unfortunately, it spilled on the way home. I called them to correct this order, but I felt lied to. The manager told me that it wasn't their fault that the soup spilled because the lid was secured on tightly. When I left the store, I left that bowl completely intact. The exact way they handed it to me. But the lid was not on securely. How can a lid be secured if it spilled on the way home? She offered me partial credit for the soup, but I honestly am very hesitant to come back. The manager in the whole conversation seemed very standoffish, and hung up on me mid call. I used to like coming to this place, but I don't feel comfortable giving them my business anymore.

The drunken noodles was sooo dry! The dynamite sushi sauce was way too watery!’ I had to call and ask did they have a new chef! I referred a friend and tonight who has never eaten here and they thought the food was disgusting! I’m so embarrassed!!!

Great beer selection and atmosphere. The service is great, and they treat regulars very well. They rotate beers regularly and always have something new. A real gem in the shops that surround it.
Joel V — Google review
Great place, especially if you're into beer. They carry at least 20+ beers on tap. This is not including bottled beers. All at a reasonable price. I saw wine and food was also available. I'll be back to try both. There's a large outdoor area that's mostly shaded. Side not setting outside is dog friendly. It's not gated so bring a leash if fido is coming.
Eliyave N — Google review
Gingerman has a great beer selection and knowledgeable staff. I've been to both, honestly I prefer the Dallas location but it's great to have a Ginger Man 7 miles from where I live with no need to get on the tollway or I-75. This is a great place to meet a friend for a beer or two go out before or after dinner, I suppose you can stay and have dinner if you just really don't want to move but with so many awesome restaurants right out the door I probably wouldn't stay at the gingerman for dinner. They do have a patio which is nice if it's not hot.

Cool spot. Located in a great place to walk around so you can enjoy yourself before or after some drinks. In Ginger Man there are so many good spots to sit it's hard to pick. A fantastic selection of beer and friendly people.

Solid place for good beer. Usually pretty crowded. Decent service. Sometimes it can take forever to get noticed. Love the atmosphere.
Jeff J — Google review
Excellent beer selection at a reasonable price. Drafts are constantly changing and lots of local brews as well. No bud or Coors in this place. Food is nothing to brag but , then again, it is bar food. Staff is very beer savvy and sometimes they have some hidden gems if u ask. Downside is the crowds (but is that really a downside 😋).
Jeff W — Google review
Super fun place. Lots of beer on tap. Great hang spot. Beer prices are very reasonable.

This family-friendly establishment has multiple locations and is known for its flavorful wings and excellent service. Ordering online is highly recommended as it saves time, although there have been some instances where items were missing from the order. However, the staff are quick to correct any mistakes.
Really love this location. My sweet tea is always sweet ha! Food is always quick and tasty. I just wish pluckers would stop increasing the price 😫

Got the 10 wing combo 5 buffalo 5 Dr Pepper with waffle fries and a mega mango margarita the food was great! The margarita was a bit chunky and not so mega like I thought but absolutely loved our server and how attentive she was! Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but I will be returning.

Not only were the buffalo lemon pepper wings phenomenal like always but our waitress Bonnie was so so sweet and nice! She even added a smiley face to our dessert. Just so nice and thoughtful with us and our food! Would totally come to the location again! Thanks Bonnie <3

Last minute our whole soccer team decided to come to Pluckers. It was super packed. They accommodated us anyway. We thought the wait would be super long but they pulled through for us and gave great service. Great choice for us. We will be back again.

Finally found some delicious wings! Crispy & not soggy, with the perfect amount of sauce. Crispy waffle fries, & creamy ranch.

We love coming to Pluckers. They always take such good care of us at this location and the kids always get excited about the little bags containing a toy and coloring pages. Best hot buffalo sauce of all time! Mallory has waited on us on more than one occasion and is absolutely fabulous. Thank you for always making our family feel welcome!

I had the pleasure of being served by Mallory during my visit to Plucker’s, and I can confidently say that she provided exceptional customer service! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. She was attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at just the right times to ensure we had everything we needed.

We had a pretty decent experience at the Allen location but decided to change it up and visit the Plano location today. What an amazing experience it was too. Joey greeted the table immediately and had the best positive attitude and energy. She was so quick to get all of our drinks and food orders. She came back with alternatives and was just amazing! I highly recommend asking for her if you visit, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Buffalo Wild Wings is a vibrant dining destination that has been delighting patrons since 1982. Known for its extensive selection of wings, the chain boasts an impressive 26 sauce options ranging from sweet to fiery hot, ensuring there's something for every palate. Beyond their signature wings—traditional, boneless, and even cauliflower—they also serve up a variety of mouthwatering dishes including nachos, burgers, sandwiches, and wraps.
We had a wonderful experience tonight because of our amazing, friendly, and kind-hearted server, Jocelyn!!! She was so joyful and very patient with all of my husband's questions! She promptly brought our drinks out, as well as our food. The lemon pepper sauce wings weren't as good as the sweet BBQ boneless wings. The giant beer batter onion rings were delicious, and you got a generous portion. We went on a Monday night, so it was not very crowded at all. There were only a few other people there, so it was more private. I loved our server and the fact that she shared herself with us instead of being in a hurry and rushing off. She was very attentive and full of energy, and I appreciate that about her. Thanks, Jocelyn, for making our dining experience (first time at a Buffalo Wild Wings, too!) something to remember.

If you've been to a Buffalo Wild Wings, you've certainly been to them all - food wise that is. While Wing Stop generally has bigger, plumper wings - some would even say, GMO wings, it lacks the hangout vibe that BWW has that draws me back time and time again. Glad to find the Plano location and learned that it opens until midnight. Not many places are open past 10PM when you need some grub for those late night grinds. The ladies who checked us in and served us (Jia) are great, but like another reviewer mentioned, this location is kind of understaffed. We didn't wait too long for our food or drinks, but definitely longer than usual. Wings are delicious as usual, beer arrived nice and chilled. Server refilled wife's beverage before it was empty. We were seated close to 8:30 PM on a Wednesday evening to a fairly empty main hall (I counted 3 other families), and started eating around 8:50 PM. This BWW certainly started getting busier, with additional patrons and families pouring in starting as late as 10 PM! Seating options includes a bar area, booth, tables and a small patio. Overall pretty clean and well kept. We'll be back!
Steve K — Google review
We order here often. But this time it was an hour long wait on a to go. Fine but I ordered the trio dip. Salsa queso and guacamole. It came with about 15 chips. Very disappointing. The server told my husband hey boss almost ready boss! Wow! Don’t recommend at all!
Shannon C — Google review
My service and customer care by Dominique on September 11,2025 at the Plano, Texas location was absolutely atrocious. I have been here before and the customer service was not as bad as it was today. Server practically slammed a metal plate and was uncessarily rude and hostile the entire time. I'm not sure what I did to piss her off, but she did not have this same energy towards others. Honestly one of the worst servers I've had. Literally never checked in a while I was there another server ended up doing that instead because even she realized how long it took. And I try to be incredibly respectful every where I go so I'm not sure what the problem was, but I made sure the tip reflected that because that was ridiculous! Wings were pretty good but lost my appetite 10 minutes into meeting my server and I honestly considered leaving then and should have. I try to give staff the benefit of the doubt. I understand the job can be stressful but I'd like to be treated at least like everyone else. I often tip generously and am friendly, but this time there was no point. Don't skimp on finding quality customer service employees, they're the front line. My visit today was unusually a big fat 0

I'm only visiting Plano. I went in alone to sit at the bar for a few drinks and eat dinner. Bella was the bar tender and also serving the floor. She did an amazing job!!! She was making sure all customers were taken care of and talking to each as if she'd know them all forever. I had a really great time with the trivia and just talking with people I might never see again. I will be back when I visit Plano again!!! Thank you Bella for being so welcoming!!! 🤗

I love wings so since I moved back to the Dallas area people have recommended a lot of places..valley wings, wingstop, etc. I haven’t ate Buffalo Wild Wings in years and I have to say this location has all the wing places beat. I even ordered the Bacon smashed hath chile burger and it was better then five guys!..The manager even came from the back to check on the customers in the lobby..I rate the whole place a 10 out of 10 and the food broke the scale..a 12 out of 10! Great job!!
DeAndre G — Google review
I recommend sitting with Brian at the bar. He is an amazing bartender and a very nice guy! Mak, the server also provides really great service! The food is always good when we eat here. I got Hot Lemon Pepper wings this time & they were amazing!
Cassidy J — Google review
Came for weekly date night in addition to offer for Teacher Appreciation Week discount. Our server was good and our food was good minus the nachos needing more cheese. We order an appetizer Sampler, we would order everything again except the nachos that was dry. We ordered side sauces for dipping not realizing that each one would be a 60cent charge after we asked to substitute the original sauces that were marked as spicy. The fried cauliflower was our favorite.

Legacy West is a fantastic destination with a great mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. There’s a great selection of restaurants, from casual spots to upscale dining, so there’s something for everyone. Checkout their website for events all year long. Parking can get a little crowded, especially on weekends, but it’s worth the visit. Overall, a great place to spend an afternoon or evening!

This is a nice area with a decent number of quality shops and restaurants. The dancing water fountain in the center of the shopping strip is a fun concept; however, it has not been operating for a very long time. They may be able to improve the experience if they could stop loud cars from the garages and the street itself; they are not only very disturbing, they could even be potentially dangerous. Since there are apartments there, the businesses are not open too long on weekends. There are also not enough businesses to bring folks back regularly.

It's a great spot to visit at night, offering a vibrant atmosphere and good vibes. The place features a few branded shops, making it a nice destination for shopping as well. December is the perfect time to visit, especially in the evening, when the place comes alive with lights and energy. It's also a fantastic location for a photoshoot, with some scenic spots. Whether you're out for a leisurely stroll, some shopping, or simply to capture some great memories, this place is definitely worth the visit.

The concert venue is amazing. The restaurant service really improved since my last visit. I would definitely recommend getting a VIP concert pass for the perfect ready to go date night. The only issue is that they don't have Coke products only Pepsi. I wish I was allowed to bring in my own can of Diet Coke 😊.

The food is OK for 2 people it was $77.00. For a very small menu I was forced to eat brisket tacos 🌮 that weren't to my taste and too greasy. Our waitress Abby was. Very nice and kind for our first time here. They have outdoor music. My drink was wayyyyyy too strong. Over all very clean place. Clean bathroom.

Always great shows here. Be careful when you order tickets. The "general admission" areas way up top near the bar, or down by the stage arent always free. I've bought the wrong ticket on 2 occasions and needed a refund. A plus is its very easy to meet the musicians after their set, they often hang out with the fans.

Plano Super Bowl is a popular bowling center in Plano, Texas, offering nearly 50 lanes, a cafe, and live music. Open 24/7 since 1985, it's a favorite spot for families and friends. While there may be some wait times due to its popularity and numerous leagues, the well-maintained equipment and delicious food make it worth the visit.
Went here with work colleagues as a group and got a super deal for lunch + bowling for $10.95. Food was decent and it was not busy on Thursday afternoon. It was clean, everyone had a great time and you can't beat this deal.

Always a good time. Clean, friendly environment. Great pro shop team. Spud helped me get my first ball and get to dropping some pins!

Really nice old school alley. The food is delicious! There is nothing bad to try but I recommend the catfish! Loads of lanes so they dont get too crowded unless all the pros are in town.
Nai F — Google review
Cool decent bowling center. Ive bowled literally a hundred+ centers.. As a league and tournament bowler, I feel obligated to mention that lane 9 has a significant bubbling under the approach area. You can definitely feel it when you walk across. Otherwise, very decent center.
Eric W — Google review
Was recently told their food has gotten a lot better for bowling alley food and it’s true, food is great, I had their catfish and it was fresh and delicious. Staff here seems to be on top of things, what I noticed was when people were done with their lanes, their staff would put balls back in their respective areas.
Hai P — Google review
It was awesome. One of kind Louisiana style seafood restaurant. Welcome and nice wait staff Very fresh and tasty king crab 🦀 s We ordered colossal combo and enjoyed it. Personally it was great a catfish. Just order and enjoy it with the source.
Sunny L — Google review
It's was fin bowling there. The good part is crowd was good, lanes are so much that you always bet a chance to play. Moreover..you also get drinks so you can order their and drink and eat while bowling. In addition to this, this is open 24 by 7 so a great plus for night lovers. One bad thing I feel is you can only drink till 2 am which I feel is so so bad that you have to finish everything by 2 am else police will through you out. But 1 more thing I felt bad is our bowl in the lanes got stuck and they didn't came to the area we play but the helper instead scolded us to play too slow so that bowl can come out. This is bad as the player can play as fast he can as timing is always on when you play. But overall a good experience of bowling and great atmosphere.
Kawaljeet C — Google review
Ladies Bowl Free on Tuesday nights lol. Loved that! This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Staff is friendly. 48 lanes but it was still busy on a Tuesday summer night with an approx. 1.5 hr wait so we went to their bar area first for food and drink. Plenty of flatscreens in there, about 25 beers on tap and the bartender made me excellent mixed drinks. We had a BLT and King Club Sandwich with hand cut fries and it was delicious. Bacon was perfect and bread was toasted perfectly, it really hit the spot. There’s also a small arcade area. Bathrooms on both sides of the alley were very clean. Lanes and corresponding computer to operate the scoreboard is organized well. I believe tournaments occur here so there’s also a pro-shop inside to buy personal bowling balls, shoes and other equipment which was cool to see. We had a great time and will be back.

Been coming here for years and just now writing a review! 1. I love that this is a queer-friendly place…I’ve always felt welcome and safe here. 2. This is SUCH good bar food! They even have a gluten-free bun for my bf. The staff will often make suggestions to give your order a little more pizzaz, and the kitchen staff always does the job right. 3. THE STAFF. I have never encountered a better group of bartenders…whether they’ve had a bad day or not, they always try to bring their best to the bar, and it shows. I can give specific shoutouts to Colin, Mike, Brittany, Alyssa, Virgil, Chris, and Philip. 4. DJ Rob doing karaoke! The karaoke times (Thurs and Sat, 8:30pm) are well-run and DJ Rob goes above and beyond, even singing backup for people when it’s helpful. 5. The owners keep a close watch on the place and do their best to make sure it’s a safe environment. I always bring my friends, family, and dates here and will continue to do so :)

I love this place, I love love all the staff, everyone makes me feel like home...except Collin, makes me feel unwanted, a problem im there and no courtesy I'd expect from a professional bartender. Nestled in downtown Plano, EBESU is a modern Japanese bistro that stands out for its authentic sushi and robata offerings. Named after the Japanese god of good fortune and fishing, this restaurant opened its doors just before the pandemic but quickly made a name for itself with dishes like seared scallops drizzled with tomato basil sauce and refreshing cold soba noodles infused with yuzu froth.
Our server Laura was so sweet and accomidating to us. The menu is detailed with color coding by allergen which was very helpful for my gluten allergy as I have celiacs disease. The head chef was masterful in his presentation and taste. The sushi rice was perfection. All the staff meticulously served. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chef's treatment of the Tamago was the best I have ever tasted. This was a surprise as the omlette sushi is usually overlooked. We had a perfect anniversary dinner!

I had a wonderful experience dining here. From start to finish, everything was enjoyable. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and served fresh, while the service was attentive, friendly, and made me feel welcomed. Been here 4 times now and most recently I had the chance to try their tuna cutting experience. Every visit was absolutely amazing! Their tuna cutting experience is a high cost, but as a cheapass, it is so worth it. Check out my pictures and the chopsticks on the right side so you know what dish it is. Ended up getting some otoro to-go and oh man, it’s ruined all other cuts and tuna dishes for me. EBESU is a must try if you appreciate good Japanese food!

The Ebesu Signature Course was absolutely amazing! Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and so filling. The quality and freshness really stood out, and the presentation made the whole experience feel special. The service was attentive and welcoming, which made the night even better. If you’re in Plano and want an unforgettable meal, I highly recommend trying the Signature Course at Ebesu!
Thao T — Google review
We live within walking distance of Ebesu and finally made it there for dinner. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening, though I’d recommend making a reservation to be safe. The food was top-notch, and both the service and atmosphere were excellent. While prices run higher than average, they’re not unreasonable. We’ll definitely be returning!
Juan M — Google review
I think I figured out what’s going on here. The menu’s split between cheap rolls and expensive rolls but… neither is worth it. The cheap ones taste like hotel buffet sushi mostly filler. The pricey ones aren’t much better they just toss in extra cucumber and drown everything in sauce like that fixes it. And the whole “do you have a reservation?” + dress code thing feels like a gimmick to seem upscale. It’s not that vibe. The chef was literally in pajamas making sushi behind the bar. I wanted to like it, but unless they step up the freshness and basics I’m out.

A Hidden Gem in Historic Plano: EBESU Redefines Japanese Fine Dining Tucked away in the charming historic district of Plano, EBESU is not just a Japanese restaurant—it’s an experience. Every element, from the architecture to the pacing of the meal, reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence. The sashimi rivals—and in many ways surpasses—Nobu. Each cut is immaculately fresh, sliced with precision, and presented with the kind of quiet confidence that only comes from a kitchen that knows exactly what it’s doing. This isn’t theatrical dining. It’s restrained, refined, and deeply respectful of the craft. What elevates EBESU even further is its extraordinary attention to detail. From the temperature of the ceramic dishes to the seasonal garnishes that arrive without announcement, everything is deliberate. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is careless. Service is top of its game—elegant, intuitive, and seamlessly attentive without being overbearing. The staff move like clockwork, yet still manage to offer genuine warmth and insight into the menu. Bakery
Main Street bistro and bakery is a relaxed French-influenced destination located at 7200 Bishop Rd Ste D-11 Plano, TX 75024. The menu offers a variety of options including breakfast, burgers, quiches, and desserts. A must-try is the Banana Foster Brioche French Toast with fresh bananas flambeed in rum and salted caramel.
I recently moved to this neighborhood and I am so happy to be close to this restaurant The breakfast was great. I liked the Benedict, it was nice. Spanish omelet was good and delicious. Coffee could have been better, but anyway it was acceptable.

Ordered Quiche Lorraine and two croissants to go. The quiche was decent but the croissants were the worst I've ever had. They were rock hard, to the point where I had trouble cutting them. And the chocolate croissant had barely any chocolate at all. Overpriced for what we had. Main Street used to be pretty good. Definitely a disappointment now though. UPDATE: We got sick off the Quiche Lorraine. So, even that wasn't good.

This place was really disappointing. The signage reads, "Artisan Breads," and frankly, I have had better bread from any supermarket. The onion soup was sad. The cheese was barely melted. We had the rueben sandwich, club sandwich, and pattie melt. All were under par for the price. $17 for the reuben, which was 2 slices of corned beef topped with sweet coleslaw instead of sauerkraut which made the sandwich cold and soggy. The pattie on the melt was performed from low quality meat. The place needs to increase the quality of their products if they are going to continue to charge "Artisan" prices.

I love that my sisters surprised me for my birthday today! The service, atmosphere, reasonable price was great! The Santa Monica chicken add a little pepper to it and this is the Bomb! Tomato basil soup delicious and I’m so glad there is no cheese added to it! French onion soup delicious! Sweet potato fries seasoned and cooked perfectly! We all enjoyed the food and mimosa! All was good until I tasted the dessert this evening. It tasted off and when I cut the second piece there was mold. I am horrified and the taste is still in my mouth after flossing and brushing. Any suggestions on how to remove the taste from my mouth is welcomed. The five star review is now 3.5.

I've been coming here for a long time now, and always think that I like the idea of it way more than I actually like it. The food is always decent, and sometimes really good, but also can be disappointing. It's quite the mix. Service has always been friendly but often times not very good. It can take a long time to get service, even when they aren't busy. They are good at keeping coffee topped off, but not great about waters or checking if you need anything. Inside is cute, but feels crowded. They've moved some things so it's less crowded now, but still not great. It's frequently loud, even when not very full. The patio seating isn't the most comfortable, but it is fun to sit outside and do people watching. Overall, this place is worth going to and I'll continue to keep coming back, even if I think it's mediocre.

I got the chicken and waffles. It was good but would have been great if they would had added some salt to the chicken and the batter it was fried in. Also, I think it would be a nice touch to give a compote of butter and warm syrup instead of to go packets of butter and syrup. With my order I purchased a Chai Tea Latte... it was a little watery and once I got to the bottom of the cup I realized the contents hadn't been mixed well. My waiter was attentative and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

We've been going here for quite awhile. I enjoy the coffee here and the ambiance is nice. The food is good, but not great. Last week I got the Migas w/ Chorizo and they were fairly bland which is surprising for Migas! Our server was nice and made sure we were taken care of. Overall the prices seem steep seeing as we payed around $12 for the plate of Migas and $8 for ONE waffle. I'm sure we'll be back (cause my wife loves it) but I'd probably pass if it was my choice.

Walked to here from the hotel for a team function. They had seating for us and the service was great. Tried my 1st escargot here and enjoyed it 🐌! The Reuben was ok, as well as the French Onion Soup 🍲. The espresso here is where it is at. I'm also told their breakfast is excellent, though have not tried it yet, will update later.

INSANE. Jesus was amazing! Everything he recommended was so delicious. Drinks were so well crafted I got the Tea Blossom Sunrise and it was the best drink I’ve had in a WHILE. Food was amazing 💯 the Shrimp Diablo blew my mind I ordered it extra spicy and it did not disappoint!! Sauce was GLOSSY and perfectly coated the pasta 🤤 INCREDIBLY FLAVORFUL. Will be back 💕

This might now be my favorite Speakeasy that’s I’ve been too. The phone booth and password of their latest recommended novel make this place intriguing and unique. The atmosphere inside is even better and the bar tender and clientele add to the fun with create conversation and unique cocktails. Try something smoky. You won’t be disappointed. And if you’re hungry, the lobster bowl is especially delicious. Enjoy and cheers 😉😊🍸

#EPIC - When I tell you EVERYTHING about this place was amazing! We had the most memorable night stumbling upon this place after a nice, quiet dinner at J. Theodore. It took us a bit to find the passcode, because we didn’t realize initially that it was a book title and not a numeric code. You pick up the phone, it rings, and you ask the librarian for the book—pretty cool concept and maintains a certain traditional charm. However, the vibes and service were anything but traditional! We had a BALL despite running into some weirdo with his friends on the way in who acted like he was could keep up us out by not sharing the password. I hope that guy had a miserable time watching us have the time of our lives. Ironically, we were seated right in front of them. I love the way things fall into place exactly how they’re supposed to. Hi hater! 🤣🤣 Our server was Maylani, and she was super cool and attentive. She brought Quinn over when my husband began asking about whiskey recommendations. When I tell you that Quinn was THE MAN! The way he talked to us about the Japanese whiskeys and even told us simple cocktail recipes we could make at home, we could immediately tell he was a master at his craft. Between the two, they took great care of us and we had some good discussion and many laughs throughout the night. So much so, that I’m pretty sure we were the last patrons to leave. The drink menu was EXTENSIVE and well-curated, and I’m sure they share a kitchen with J. Theodore, so you know the food is good. All the cocktails were expertly crafted, and that Brown Sugar Bourbon Espresso Martini was strong and DELECTABLE! It was perfect because I hate vodka, but I love the flavors of an espresso martini. This was much better! Will definitely be back!

Love this place! From the moment you walk up, you feel the vibe, true speakeasy. Really cool entrance, the phone booth, password entrance, library feel, then making it into the next room, finally you make it through for drinks and love music. Great craft cocktails, smoked drinks, beers on tap, you name it, they offer it. Bonus, live music! Excellent service! Come check it out!

Absolutely the most perfect date night spot! J. Theodore is known for its espresso martini, but Rare Books has to be known for its grown-up, speakeasy vibes! My date and I truly had an amazing time in this dark grownup club!

Wonderful vibes and drinks are great. It was a bit to dark to see the menu.

Great lil speak easy! I enjoyed the ambiance, drinks and people! Great little place if you want to to be out of the bigger picture. The live music was on point.

Great atmosphere, “May” is absolutely amazing. Best service and friendly environment, and we have yet witnessed a bad singer. They are all so talented.

Sports bar
First Round Draft Bar & Grill is a lively sports bar and grill offering a casual atmosphere with pub fare, draft beer, and outdoor seating. The friendly staff, including the owner who also cooks, contribute to the genuine and welcoming vibe of the place. While it can get lively during local sports events, it generally maintains a relaxed ambiance with cool jukebox music and fair prices on drinks. The abundance of TVs makes it an ideal spot for watching games.
Yesterday was our 1st visit and we'll probably return again. The service was awesome, Chance was our server! The food, we had pulled pork nachos, a great recommendation. I loved the amount of TVs for us to watch all the college football! If you've never been, they do have an ID registration system and if you have never been to a place that does that, it might seem weird...we had already had that experience so it isn't a big deal it has to do with their permit. The TV in the ladies room, nice but it may cause moments of awkwardness is watched too long 🤣🤣
Mikala W — Google review
Nice and polite service from the staff. I’ve gotten to know the owner who also cooks. Very genuine people. Can be a little roudy when the local sports teams are on, but otherwise its chill. The jukebox is cool, variety in music, good or bad. Prices are fair and have specials on some days. No happy hour, but Shiner is always cheap and do have certain drink specials. I really like living close to here, it fits a good community vibe and not a touristy or gimmicky bar. NFL Sunday ticket is a great feature here as well.

Love it!! Small bar for if you, don't really want to be around so many people. Service is awesome. Bartender chance is amazing and quick!! Will always come back to this spot.
