"The Fat Seagull" is a locally owned taproom in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, offering a stunning view of Lake Michigan. With 24 craft beers on tap, various wine selections, and non-alcoholic drinks, it's the perfect spot for beer enthusiasts. The place also features games like axe throwing, shuffleboard, and cornhole. This historic downtown landmark serves an array of sandwiches and soups along with daily specials and Friday Fish Frys.
Stopped at Fat Seagull on our way to Door County. At the time there was a block party going on so they had a limited menu but limited included burger and fries which is what we wanted. Turnaround time for the order was great, burger was great too, and prices were very reasonable. $5 for a burger! Enjoy!

Kind of a dive (and I mean that in the best possible way) in an older part of downtown. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the place was hopping but not too crowded. It was a little loud. Our server was friendly and helpful. It took a while to get our order but it was worth the wait. I had the Thai One On wrap with shrimp. The sauce was flavorful with the right amount of heat and EVERY bite had a nice chunk of shrimp. We shared an order of onion rings that had the perfect amount of crispy crunchy breading. My husband enjoyed a cup of chili and a pizza burger. If we lived nearby, I am sure this would be one of our regular spots.
Deborah R — Google review
We stopped for lunch and didn’t realize they would have a limited menu due to the outdoor music fest. There was also no table service which was a bit disappointing. I was planning on having a Reuben but due to the limited menu I ordered a hamburger and was NOT disappointed. It was remarkably tasty for just being a 1/4 patty with pickles and onions, with a delicious bun. All the condiments were available on the table. We would definitely stop there again.

In town for an appointment and had to feed kids. The kids loved their burgers. The tenderloin sandwich was seasoned beautifully and was delicious. The chili was good too! Glad we stopped!
Alyssa — Google review
Awesome downtown local spot for great drinks and food! Definitely get the cheese curds, also the chicken wraps and shrimp tacos were tasty. Everything is very reasonably priced, lots of food options, high top tables, Wisconsin dive bar feel. Our server was really friendly, chill and attentive. A must stop when visiting Manitowoc or Two Rivers!
Stephanie P — Google review
Garlic cheese curds tasted like Texas’s toast very good I’d recommend I’ve never seen these before. I personally wasn’t a big fan of the shrimp tacos but’s that’s only because it has a sweater sauce on them and I’m used to a savory flavor. Other than that they had a great flavor.
Paige R — Google review
Pizza burger is eh. Great flavor. Not messy enough almost no sause. B- Wings (boneless) BBQ are A+++ Clam strips A+++ Seagul egg rolls B- could be bigger or cheaper for being only cream cheese and fake crab but still very very tastey Cold beers Cold tap beer Great seevice Great prices Quiet but wisconsin homey bar A+ not routy and very polite generous people Will return with friends 🧡 Weekly specials no picture* but amazing prices !!
Jacob W — Google review
Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, the drinks were on point, and the prices were very reasonable. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Huge shoutout to the incredible bartenders—Spencer, Tara, Jared, Jada, and JP for making the experience even better. And major thanks to the hardworking kitchen staff behind the scenes. You all crushed it. Can’t wait to come back

Food was awesome... strawberry rhubarb burger was🔥. The cheese curds and raspberry balsamic dipping sauce was so good. We enjoyed the fries with feta and tzatziki sauce. We also got a chicken salad wrap , pulled pork and a grilled chicken sandwich which were also good.
Jason M — Google review
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Cheese Curds were THE best we’ve ever had. And the burger?! Insane. Do yourself a favor & upgrade your fries. They even split the meal for us and gave us a prime window seat!! 10/10!!
Paige B — Google review
My husband and I tried this for date night and wow!! This place is amazing! The drinks were top notch and the food was absolutely perfect!! To top it all off the waitress was so kind and friendly! We can’t wait to go back!
Dallas F — Google review
The food is amazing at this place but what really stood out for me was their willingness to accommodate me on the patio on a chilly fall evening because I had dogs. They said to call when I arrived and someone would seat me outside. The waitress was super sweet even though she had to come out in the wind and chilly temperature, never once making me feel bad for being out there. She was attentive and made outstanding recommendations. Thank you for such a pleasant experience on top of the excellent food.
Ellie F — Google review
We had a couple of drinks, and we had lunch. I was super impressed by every facet of our visit. The bartender was very professional and friendly. The Manhattan was delicious! The sandwich was very delicious. Impressive. Beautiful facility. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wrap It Up is a delightful fusion of a coffee shop and bistro, where health-conscious diners can indulge in delicious wraps and specialty beverages. Recently enhanced with an annex that features a bar, this charming spot is perfect for breakfast or lunch breaks. Guests rave about the fresh subs, comforting soups, and vibrant deli salads available at Marettis Italian Deli nearby. The atmosphere at Wrap It Up is inviting—ideal for catching up with friends or having casual meetings over quality food.
I recently visited Wrap it Up at 830 S 8th St, in Manitowoc, WI. I had a very delicious steak skillet bowl. A very good place and worth a revisit.

This quaint sandwich shop is also home to a coffee cafe as well. The interior is simple,.clean, and bright on the bar side. The coffee side isade.with darker tones but still comfortable. The prices are reasonable, and you get just enough of a portion to curb hunger but not feel stuffed. The service was quick and the food was fresh, and delicious.

Decent little place to grab something to eat. I think it's neat that they specialize in wraps but they do offer many other things like breakfast, paninis, smoothies, etc. I ordered the hulli hulli wrap and thought it was decent. I just felt like it was more rice and sauce then chicken. When you order a meal you get just the wrap or main item. Nothing else comes with it. The service was good as everyone was extremely friendly and checked on us. Overall, I would say it's a nice place to stop every once in a while if your looking for something different.

ETA new dessert alert! Tried their Raspberry Cheesecake Chimi and it was delicious! 😋 ETA more recent pix of their tasty food 😋 Update Halloween fun 2022 🎃 Our first visit went very well at Wrap It Up. They have lots of goodies including a menu filled with many options plus Colectivo coffee and Troubadour bakery items. Employees with smiling faces and an all around positive vibe and experience. We're already looking forward to trying other choices on their menu. Just adding a couple more pix from our wonderful visit on Labor Day weekend 😊

The food is typically very good however we have run into several instances where the owner is a pain and the staff is always rushing you out even when there are not many people there. I have a feeling this is another owner issue. My most recent experience the waiter had major attitude. They also should not have a bar if some of the staff dont understand how to make mixed drinks or what type of beer I ordered. I was almost served a non-alcoholic beer when i ordered an IPA ( it wasnt even a non-alcoholic version of the IPA). I even suspect the first beer I ordered was non-alcoholic because I didn't catch the waiter till the second one and i felt no buzz. They did refund one of them but not without a kurfuffel.

.50 extra for a lemon slice in iced tea, appears to be Tyson breaded chicken in wraps, cook must have had a bad day as we were given someone else’s side and ordered no beans - still got beans. Food was meh. Go to Broken Plate instead, it’s worth the wait!
Carrie K — Google review
i got the hot veggie wrap, chips and salsa, a late, and took a vegan muffin to go. veggie wrap was super good. veggies cooked perfectly not mushy etc, hearty without being greasy. could use a tad more seasoning. salsa was interesting, maybe a little too much vinegar. (base was pretty solid). but went really good on the burrito (i added it on). late was also super good and perfect temp. waitress was perfect, cute cafe atmosphere. very comfy. tried muffin in the car and was also pretty good(: not dry and nicely sweet. VEGAN FRIENDLY

Waterfront Wine Bar is a popular spot located along the Manitowoc River, offering a wide selection of 22 wines by the glass and even more available in self-dispensing machines. The establishment features a lengthy deck and an outdoor patio on the boardwalk, providing a calm and peaceful setting to enjoy wine with friends, family, or a significant other. Visitors can indulge in appetizers or small plates while savoring their choice of red, white, or rose wine.
Waterfront Wine Bar is one of our local favorites! We’ve gotten dressed up and spent adult evenings sipping wine in the beautiful dining area, biked here midday to enjoy an outdoor lunch as a family, and popped in with friends for prime rib on Saturday evening! It’s always a great time for unique food, delicious drinks, and friendly smiles from knowledgeable staff! Even my youngest daughter (now 8) considers this to be one of the best restaurants in town! Young and young at heart will find something here!

We went to the wine bar for the first time on New Year’s Eve. It wasn’t that busy with our 5pm dinner reservation and we thought we would get some more service than we did but it is totally understandable with it being a holiday. I had the moscato wine which was a classic. We then ordered the warm French bread and it came with marinara, pesto and butter which was delicious. We had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and the seared tenderloin with a creamy crab sauce on top. The sides were different which is nice to mix it up. Overall we thought the vibe and the food was great. Would definitely come again
Aleeya W — Google review
I came to this place for Labor Day weekend. It seemed like everyone here wanted to eat at the Wharf, which is across the river from this spot. I decided to try this place, and it was definitely worth it. I ordered the crab claws, which were beautifully plated and very delicious. My only suggestion would be to add some salted clarified butter to help enhance the delicate meat. I also ordered the Tuna Tower, which was very good. The tuna was fresh and tasty. The final sampling was of the coconut shrimp, which were served crunchy and perfectly brown. They came with a Thai-inspired dipping sauce, but I asked for a more traditional cocktail sauce, and the chef preferred some fresh for us. I know WI is one for burgers, fish fries, and cheese curds, but this was a refreshing hidden gem. I wish they had a little band or singer-songwriter playing music on the weekends to attract more customers.

My wife and I visited in the past and it is a place we always are certain to go back to when we are in the area. We had lunch twice during our most recent visit to Wisconsin. For our first lunch we tried the Pad Thai and it was amazing. Be prepared, if you order a spice level of hot, it is truly hot! James served us and did a great job, including making great specialty drinks! For our second visit, Veda maintained the same high level of service! This time, we had the NY Strip, which was incredible! We also got to meet the owner, Megan, and had a great time talking with her. Everyone here takes great care of their customers and the facility is unique and always neat and clean.
James D — Google review
We ordered the meat and cheese charcuterie board and cheese curds for apps. They were both delicious. Our entrees were the creamy Mediterranean chicken pasta and elevated Alfredo. Portions were larger than expected and tasted great. The drink was the lavender lemon drop and WOW so good.
Haley M — Google review
We've been here a couple times and have never had good service, or anything spectacular for food. I never leave negetive reviews of restaurants or local businesses, I just choose not to go back and let others decide for themselves. However, after how they reacted after my wife shared her latest experience, I feel inclined to do so. Feel free to read my wife's review and the dozens of others that echo her experience. But to further expand on the depth of management incompetencies at the Waterfront Wine Bar. My wife received a call from from the owner in which ownership took zero accountability for this or any other of the countless instances of trash service. She did nothing but make excuses backed up outright lies. And try to get my wife to take her review down, it was strictly narcissistic damage control. When my wife stated that she would not be doing that because there was still zero accountability on their end, The owner threatened to call the police, and demanded our address so that "her legal team could send us a cease and desist for slander and defamation of character". I think that shows what type of people they are. That's crossing a line I won't stand for... So unless you enjoy sitting in a "mean girls club" with people who think they can bully customers spending their hard earned money in their overpriced establishment waiting 45 minutes for simple drinks and over 2 hours for food while the staff is having a great time doing shots together, I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Courthouse pub, Bricks, and Ryan's are all much better choices.

Group of kids to have dinner prior to homecoming dance: 6:30pm RESERVATIONS for a group of 9 8:00pm STILL NO FOOD One in the group never even got her food. Owner refused any accountability, refused to come out & acknowledge, apologize or do anything to make it right. Instead waited until I walked away to address our kids in back with rude comments & stormed around as if we had inconvenienced HER. Our kids had reservations for 630. Still no food by 8pm. It was made clear we were there for dinner before the Homecoming dance. Upon arrival, the group was seated in the back. They were the only table back there. The front of the restaurant was about half full and some at the bar. There was one other group of 8 in there, they left right around 730. The group of parents (total of 7) sat at the bar & ordered drinks/appetizers. Before half of us had our drinks, the wait staff had all taken a shot together. The group of our kids in back ordered cheese curds as an appetizer. It took 45 minutes for them to get that. It took about 45 minutes for our appetizers as well. Around 730, the kids asked how much longer it would be as the homecoming dance STARTED at 730pm. By 750 I asked where their food was and stated again that they had the homecoming dance which had already started. They said "it’s being made right now" for the second time. By 8pm, I was livid and demanded to know EXACTLY what the status of their food was. The owner was in the back making snarky comments. Anyone who has been here knows you can see right in the kitchen. She refused to come back to the table by the kids which I waited at until everyone had their food. Only once I had walked away did she go back & address the kids in an unacceptable rude manner. One of the girls in our group never even got her food! It is now 820 and we are the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE PLACE. There were multiple people in the kitchen at all times & behind the bar. The place was well enough staffed. There was no excuse. There was no accountability & we were met with nothing but attitude. We didn't walk in on a Saturday evening expected to be seated and served immediately, hence why we had RESERVATIONS. Even if the place was full, there is NO reason that we should have been there 2 hours and there is absolutely no reason someone in our group should have had to leave without even eating. Unacceptable. But if you look at the reviews on google, plenty of people have had the same experience. It could be an amazing place. At no time was there any apology from the owner herself. She sent her waitress out to address everything. I even made a comment to the waitress asking why the owner wouldn't come out & acknowledge the situation. I hate to think how the kids would have been treated had a parent not been there to speak up. I don't know that I've ever posted about a restaurant & a bad experience but this was far beyond that. Please head over to yelp and read reviews there as well. They ALL echo the same experience I had!

The Wharf Manitowoc, formerly known as Tapped on the Lakeshore, is a locally owned taproom in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. It offers 24 craft beers on tap, domestic bottled beers, wine selections, and non-alcoholic drinks. The venue features various games like axe throwing, shuffleboard, cornhole, and more.
Interesting restaurant and pub with a view of the river. Maybe the music is a bit too loud during the day but this is the type of restaurant so it has to be that way. The food /fast food/ is even ok. The decor is also very pleasant, the service is nice but few so it's a bit of a problem to get service. Overall I have positive impressions.
Rich K — Google review
The Wharf came highly recommended and for good reason. The food was delicious and the view absolutely stunning. You go to the kitchen window to order food and the bar to order drinks. We had the perch tacos and the Bee-sting pizza. Both were the perfect balance of savory and a little kick. They have live music most of the time with a large outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend!
Elizabeth M — Google review
the best part of this place was the live music. service was horrible. 4 bartenders on and none of them knew what was going on. food was so bad I made comments about being scared of getting food poisoning the next day. for the price you pay for food and drinks it really should be a better experience. went to cash out and nobody even knew if we had a tab or not. ridiculous customer service and even worse food. go up to the fat seagull a block over for a better experience and edible food
Savannah K — Google review
We stopped for quick lunch by the water. The view was great, but it took 45 minutes to get an order of nachos and cheese curds. It was not busy at all. The only thing I can recommend is the view.
Kathy H — Google review
This venue has quite a variety of live entertainment. We've been here 3 times and enjoyed every show. Great place on the river, very unique setup, service is excellent.
Dale G — Google review
Great place for lunch on the river. The CBR salad, salmon tacos, and the homemade chips were excellent. It was a serve yourself setup, but it didn't bother us. Would definitely go back.
Jeff G — Google review
The atmosphere is pretty good. Nice views right by the water. I definitely wasn't impressed with the service though. The bartender that we had was kind of rude and treated us like we were bothering her.
Chris F — Google review
There is no table side service here. You order your food at the window by the stage and you order your drinks at the bar, like a festival venu. I had the salmon tacos which we terrible. They use smoked salmon which is served cold and extremely salty. They sprinkle a pinch of onion ant tomatoes the drizzle a dill sauce over a single flour tortilla. Not worth $6.00 a taco! Give me some fresh fish for that price. The cheese curds were like chewing fried rubber balls. We had to bus our own table. I asked the bartender what pilsners they had in stock. She said they have no pilsners! WHAT?? there was Miller, bud etc right in front of you! Train your staff before giving them a bartending license! For the price, treat yourself somewhere worthy, not here.

Harborside is a nostalgic supper club in the neighborhood that offers daily specials on food and drinks. It has a vintage ambiance and is a popular choice for birthday dinner celebrations. The restaurant has friendly and welcoming staff, including an attentive bartender who serves delicious dirty martinis. The waitstaff is efficient and always smiling, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. The food at Harborside is exceptional, with everything made to order and customizable.
Visiting from out of state on a weekday and we were looking for a nice restaurant close to the lighthouse. We were greeted right away, very friendly staff. Drinks and food came in good timing. The duck wontons were amazing and obviously homemade. I ordered a ribeye with steak fries and creamy chicken and rice soup. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. Great experience.

12/26/24 6pm. Unusual layout throughout. Busier than expected. We had reservations, but delayed, though it worked out. We were in a private room shaped like home plate and I saw another rectangular. All the food turned out well. Hot butterscotch drink and Point pistachio beer were great choices. Bartender knew his stuff. No need to single him. He knew you were there and was efficient. Seemed like locals and travelers with pleasant conversations. Good Cajun chicken.

Ryan's On York, a relaxed taproom that offers craft beer and revamped traditional pub fare, opened its doors in May 2015. Situated at 712 York St., it occupies the former location of J, making it a new addition to the neighborhood. Despite its appearance as a typical bar, Ryan's On York surprises with its exceptional food quality.
Stopped on our way through town! Had a super kind bartender welcome us right away when we sat down at the bar. She made us feel at home! The interior is unassuming in here, but the food is not. Absolutely delicious meal. Such a unique menu with something for everyone to enjoy. They make it very hard to choose. We will be dreaming about this food for a while and will definitely be popping back up from Milwaukee just to eat here! Thanks for making my flavor dreams come true with your awesome and unique food menu and cocktail list!
Lauren D — Google review
We stopped in to Ryan’s after a recommendation from a friend. A very simple order of 3 burgers and a Poutine special took about 40 minutes to prep. The waitperson would not allow me to order grilled onions on my burger although it was featured on another menu item. That should have been a hint. The Poutine was pretty bland with cheese curds that were cold in the middle. I overheard the table next to us complain about the food delay so the waitperson took their drinks off their bill. The burgers were not very good. After we paid, one of us asked about the slow food service and our waitperson said that we make everything from scratch and this is not bar food! Indeed!

Excellent choices and unique delicious creations. Katsu sandwich, crab meat Rangoon tacos, and Smokey fries off the monthly special. Nice to have an alternative to burgers, fries and curds that are everywhere.

Great food at this bar n grill. Burger was good, appetizers were great, drinks... good! Got a bit busy which slowed down service but people were nice, not too expensive here either. A bit dark inside, good for date night. We were there for lunch. Would return

In Manitowoc for the maritime museum, and this place was close by. The menu looked unique and had good reviews. We got the Caribbean Burger, Katsu Melt and shared the RoY Fries. Everything tasted great and the portions were perfect for the price! I even took half my sandwich home (it was great in the air fryer). The only downside was that they got busy towards the end of our meal. It was sometime since they checked in on us, so we decided to go up to the bar to pay/ask for a to-go box. Prior to that they were very attentive (bartender and busboy). Can’t help a busy day! I’m happy to see thriving businesses. 🙂 We absolutely want to come back when we go to the art museum to try some of their bowls (San Fran Noodles in particular). Yum!

The Spicy Noods with shrimp is elite. The brussel sprouts were too burned for my taste. I still ate some. :) Great place for a date, we ate at the bar. Great cocktail menu! Definitely will be back.
Suzanne F — Google review
Great bar with a unique menu! Not your typical Wisconsin bar food. The menu draws strongly on Asian and Cajun influences. There are so many interesting choices. The Forbidden Rice Naan wrap was amazing. There are so many fun things I could come here a dozen more times before repeating a menu choice. The atmosphere is almost fantastic. It has a beautiful bar but suffers with drop ceilings and fluorescent lights. An interior refresh would go a long way to making this a 10/10 destination. They serve some interesting signature and classic cocktails, but the draft menu is quite limited. They also provide a large selection of board games to play. Overall, amazing destination for foodies, but keep your group small as there is really no option for seating more than 4 people together.

I've been in town for work travel for the week and this is by far the best food I've had! 10/10 would highly recommend! Mushroom Swiss burger was to die for and brussel sprouts were delicious. Thanks for having me!

Revolutions Bar & Grill in Manitowoc is a top spot for enjoying ice-cold draft beers with their state-of-the-art Glycol beer system. With 16 rotating draft beers each month, there's always something new to try. The sports lounge ambiance, complete with a fireplace and 14 TVs, makes it perfect for catching the game. Beautiful old building with welcoming decor and staff. Perfect place to grab dinner and have some drinks with friends! Serving staff made the evening very enjoyable, even some impromptu karaoke. Will definitely be returning!

The food is always really good. I had one of their signature burgers with cheese curds. My husband had one of the specials, the phish and chips. Everything was good. There seemed to be only one person working, so it took a while to get our order in and also to get our bill after.

One of the most unique watering holes in all of Manty!!! Great weekly specials on top of their amazing menu!! You can't miss at this place!!! Free Pool Wednesdays bring a friendly competitive vibe to the middle of the week. You must check this place out!!

My husband and I had another delicious meal on Friday night. Staff was friendly and service was great! Great menu!
Pauline H — Google review
Don't let the slightly rundown appearance of this place and faded outside sign deter you from stopping in. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food choices had really clever names. We ordered the hand-crafted Woodstock black bean burger, and the Smokey BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Both of these selections were absolutely delicious. The cilantro-lime mayo on the black bean burger was tasty and a great choice for a condiment. With that said, I've eaten many black bean burgers, and this was by far my favorite. The pulled pork with their Chipotle Honey BBQ sauce was really tasty and had a slight bite that was really nice. We did think however that our sandwich had just a little too much BBQ sauce ratio to the amount of pulled pork. I gave a 2-star rating for atmosphere as the dining tables share the room with the pool table. While we were eating, a group of 7 pretty loud guys came into play pool. We didn't mind that they were loud and seemed to be having a great time. However, during one shot the pool cue ball came flying off of the table and bounced off of the back of the top of a table chair where the back was towards the pool table. If that chair wouldn't have been there, the cue ball would have landed right in my plate. Not sure if that was just a fluke, or how to work around that, but thought I would mention it in my review. The art and stuff hanging on the walls in the dining room is clever also. We spent a bit of time looking at all of it. We also appreciated the backgammon game as we played while waiting for our food. We would totally recommend this place and will for sure be back to try more items from your really well thought out menu. Your staff was topnotch and say a lot about the management and their great attitude to make people want to come back. Great Job!

The place smelled weird .. like stale smoke. The beer and the carbless were a little bit on the expensive. I like the way the bar is set up. I've had very good food here in the past... the pork tacos are bomb.

Pizza Garden is a delightful spot nestled among eight vibrant downtown establishments, perfect for a midday escape. With its inviting atmosphere and an impressive selection of beers, it’s an ideal place to unwind. The menu boasts a variety of delicious pizzas, including unique options like mac & cheese and Buffalo chicken, alongside classic favorites such as pepperoni and mushroom. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly arcade that adds an extra layer of fun for younger guests.
The best pizza and nachos I have ever had! Very highly recommend!! Beautiful clean facility, friendly staff, great food!! The pizza is professional! If your in the area and looking for a great place this is it! 10 out of 10! We can't wait to come back!!

I will never order from Pizza Garden again. I ordered an x-large butcher block pizza and cheesy bread. $45. The wrong pizza was delivered so I called them. The assured me the correct pizza would be delivered shortly. I get a phone call from the delivery girl, she says I knocked and knocked on both doors and no one answered so the pizza is outside the door. I have 2 small dogs that bark at everything, there is no way that she knocked! I go outside, pizza is on the sidewalk. It’s also cold and burnt. What a waste of money!

We're new to Manitowoc and have only been to Pizza Garden a handful of times but it has always been a positive experience and we've enjoyed tasty food there. One of the best thin-crust pizzas around!
Eileen W — Google review
Really good, almost cracker-thin pizza! They have amazing flavor/topping options- like mac & cheese, Buffalo chicken, and several others- it was hard to pick which one. Along with the Buffalo pizza we got, we got a simple pepperoni and mushroom (they have canned and fresh options). Both were very good. My only issue was the service- not really friendly. The Buffalo pizza listed it to come with a side of blue cheese on the side, per the online menu. I asked the waiter about this and she had no idea and was super dismissive of me. Otherwise, the place was nice and the food was great.
Nicole W — Google review
We stopped for an early dinner while driving through town. They were amazing. We have a toddler and the staff treated him so well. They have an arcade room which he loved looking at all the lights. Our server offered to keep an eye on him while we ate our salad in the arcade room. It gave mom and dad a break for a few minutes. Food was good, portions were large. Salad was nice and fresh and we liked the thin crust on the pizza. I would highly recommend especially if you have kids.
Julie B — Google review
Bar is just fine. Its big enough. Bartender wasn't attentive and wasn't engaging with anyone and only one other couple than ourselves at the bar so they should be more friendly. Food was terrible. No flavor in the pizza so gross. Being at the new location they need to change up the flavor. Definitely not worth the money. Kwik trip pizza is better flavor!
Kristin S — Google review
The choice of pizzas is always exciting to choose from. The price is definitely worth it for what we order and leave with pizza to take home! My favorites are the Taco and Crab Ragoon pizzas! Tried the Ahai Tuna nachos, all i can say is i would try again. Been going here when i have the chance. Can be hectic busy...but definitely DEFINITELY worth the wait and price!!

BRIX is housed in a beautifully restored historic building and offers high-quality cuisine, excellent beverages, and exceptional service. Patrons can enjoy a diverse menu that accommodates various dietary preferences, such as the option to order burgers without buns and substitute French fries with Brussel sprouts. The Brix Bourbon Cheese Burger is particularly outstanding. While the Brussel sprouts may benefit from some additional seasoning, they remain delicious.
Our first time trying Brick's Downtown Bar & Grill in Manitowoc and we're already looking forward to our next visit. We started with their crispy Haystack Onion Rings and we also enjoyed their brand new BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, featuring local Newton Meats with their House BBQ sauce and Brussels Sprouts Slaw. Their Barnyard Burger with Cheddar Cheese, Cherrywood Bacon, Fried Egg, Haystack Onion Rings and BBQ Aioli was fantastic, too. We chose to bring home their two desserts; a gorgeous, sweet hunk of Peanut Butter Pie and a tasty slice of the new House (Champ's) Cheesecake, which were perfect with coffee. Very welcoming atmosphere and terrific service.

Bricks is an absolute must if you are in Manitowoc!! I brought my family here while on vacation which was 9 people so it was a small crowd but they took care of us flawlessly. Tatum was our server she was so good at her job. Felt like Bricks has purpose along with personality and SUPER GOOD FOOD! If you eat here, you must get bacon wrapped cheese curds!

Maybe the best homemade potato chips I’ve ever had. The burgers are on the rare side, which may not be for everyone, but combined with the caramelized surface, I enjoyed it. Our server was excellent!
Tony K — Google review
Addie server nice and a true asset with a great personality. Drink prices are very fair. Service on initial round of drinks 10 minutes and there were only 10 tables. Brussels sprouts great, Caesar was good Not great but good. Patty melt excellent , Burger with egg on it excellent, onion rings excellent, SURF WRAPS were too spicy and hot!!! The server and the menu should have a disclaimer, we opened them up at the shrimp, which really didn't fill us up. We have had Thai chili sauce 100 times and was never this hot. Mudslide martinis excellent 9.48 each, would go back again

First time eating there and have to say, it's a nice classic cozy restaurant. Food was good. Friendly service, clean. If I had to say anything that needs improving would be replacing the broken shades on the light fixtures and bathrooms could use new window treatments and fresh paint.

I am a waitress here but frequent the diner on my days off with friends as I absolutely love the quality, flavors and selection they offer. From the great salad bar with all my favorites, chocolate chip pancakes with crispy Newton Thick cut bacon to the unusual Burger of the Month with hand cut fries. One of my favorites is the Manty Philly... And I always enjoy the cranberry walnut bread toasted with Pine River Dairy butter and Greg's homemade jams! Absolutely delicious! Something for everybody! 💕 Oh and I LOVE THE CHILI! The best around.

I really like broken plate catering and diner. The food is delicious. I try to order at least once a week. The food quality, taste, presentation, etc is consistent. I've tried breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. I've always had a great experience. The owner and employees are always in a great mood and you get a warm feeling when you are there. They are the home of the biggest burger in the county.

Haven't been here in a long time, but was back in town and met my mother for breakfast here. She got the "surfin" omelette and i got the Manty Skillet! I loved the way that they chopped up the dinner sausage into small pieces so they got crispy. The cheese sauce was everything you'd hope it'd be. My mom enjoyed her omelette as well. The coffee was good and fresh. The prices are very fair! It's really all you could ask for!! Thanks Joe and crew!!

We live an hour away and decided to try something different while we were in town. When you walk into this unassuming little cafe, you notice the glass artwork on the wall, presumably from a local artist (the owner?). We seated ourselves and read the “specials” on the chalkboard before the waitress came out. The Thaiburger was a truly unique flavor journey! My son and I both had one and lived it! We ordered fries for the side and they were what appeared to be home-cut and fried skin-on. Freaking delicious! I can’t wait until I have to go to Manitowoc again so we can try the next creation from Broken Plate Diner!!

Very welcoming place. There are lots of books to pick from. Be sure to go early in the week to snag a "blind date" book because they always sell out! Delicious drinks and yummy local bakery. ★★★★★ The Nook is an absolute gem! As someone who adores cozy spaces, this bookstore stole my heart. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfy nooks perfect for losing yourself in a great book. Their coffee is *divine* ☕—smooth and rich—and the mocktails are refreshingly creative (I’m obsessed with the lavender-lemon fizz!). What truly sets The Nook apart, though, is the staff. They’re so welcoming and full of recommendations, whether you’re hunting for a bestseller or a hidden literary treasure. Whether you’re meeting friends, enjoying solo time, or hunting for your next read, this spot is a must-visit. Kudos to the team for creating such a delightful haven. Drove down with a friend from Green Bay a couple weeks ago for a tote bag making event. Super cute location but wasn't overly welcoming. Not sure if the two staff members were just overwhelmed or what but just didn't feel the same vibe others seem to have felt. Love the idea of books and coffee. I also liked that the set up wasn't stuffy and crowded.

Service wasn't the friendliest and the cook working was taking forever to make the food just seemed to not care and seemed to had an attitude. Food took about 30 minutes to be cooked even tho it wasn't busy and honestly the food doesn't even look appetizing, the chips for the spinach and artichoke dip are barely cooked, the dip itself looked gross and the liquid was starting to separate, there is barely any sauce on the wings, and the mini tacos look halfway decent. Very disappointing cause the other times i've been there, it's been fantastic

After a challenging day, trying to find food - we came into the bar and was coldly greeted by the bartender. She was very short with us and so rude that we felt Uncomfortable being served by her. Last night, I had a delightful experience at Moore's Irish Pub. I want to commend both the bartender and the cook for their exceptional service. Despite being short-staffed, with a waitress calling in sick, the bartender worked tirelessly and flawlessly. The drinks were of excellent quality, and the food was simply amazing. What impressed me the most was that both women wore smiles throughout the entire evening. The atmosphere at Moore's Irish Pub is great, providing a divine dining experience.
Great Irish Pub with a nice selection of whiskies. Love the food especially the Irish Stew and the Shepherd's Pie! Both are very tasty! The restrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and prompt, the pricing is competitive. Will enjoy going back here many times!
Arlen B — Google review
Was craving some English/Irish meals since being away from the U.K. We decided on the classics. Bangers and mash and Shepherds pie. It was a terrible choice for both sorry to say. Guinness beer gravy wasn't good at all. Tasted like butter and beer which made us nauseous. The meals arrived in small bowls and looked and smelt like throw up from a hard night of partying. Sorry, don't mean to sound so graphic about it all but that's the best way to describe the meals placed in front of us. I was expecting a plate with peas on the side and the bangers next to the potatoes with a little gravy on top. But when it arrived we got what looked like a KFC gravy bowl with sausages swimming in gravy. The Shepard's pie was the same. A scoop of meat, canned veg, and a questionable potato mashed all together and swimming in gravy with a soggy piece of bread pushed to the side. Both bowls had been topped with chives or green onions to make it look appealing. It didn't help. Both meals took 30 minutes to reach our table, even though it was very dead. The atmosphere seemed decent. No windows. A few casino machines. That was sort of like the U.K. Our server was a very nice young lady who was very chatty with us and attentive. I'd like a refund if the owner could get in touch that'd be great. I didn't want to demand or ask for a refund to our nice server. We took 3 bites each and both got incredibly sick as I suspect the gravy is made from butter, which didn't mention anything on the menu. The server wasn't sure either. We both can't have butter. So it was a bit of a waste.
M. G — Google review
Well the people here certainly are not diverse so we received many looks/states when we walked in. Drinks were great and cheese curds were delicious and spicy!! I will come back for those. Different rooms, different types of tables/chairs for comfort. Music, & games available for fun.

We really wanted this place to reflect the reviews we read. Unfortunately the food was not good. The fish was burnt the French dip was made with low grade grocery store roast beef and the mashed potatoes were luke warm. I would not recommend this establishment for dining.
William D — Google review
Tried Moore's Irish Pub May 11th - the best deep fried onion rings in both my and my boyfriend's life. He tried the Reuben sandwich, which was spectacularly on point to him. I tried the Shepard's pie, oh my goodness it's amazing the quality food this little Pub is producing. Not to mention the fun and clean atmosphere, and entertainment like free Trivia Tuesdays with TJ! Needless to say we returned two days later, ordered onion ring appetizer and it was as amazing as the first time. Each ring evenly battered, fried to golden perfection, not limp or greasy at all. Devoured those immediately and contemplated ordering a second app before our meal. I ordered Shepherd's pie again, meaty, saucy, savory and filling. My boyfriend ordered their Portabello wrap at the recommendation of the manager Heather, and he could not stop raving about how delicious it was (I'm talking several days)! So twice in one week we've been pleasantly surprised at magnificent food and fun. And after each meal we grumbled about how we didn't get any pictures for a review, haha. We returned the following Tuesday May 18th, on a mission of good food and to actually snap a picture or two for you! We ordered our staple onion rings app and of course these rings are magazine quality. Third time's a charm, do I even need to tell you the Shepard's pie was incredible? My boyfriend got the Pastrami sandwich, crispy toast, gooey cheese, sliced meat, inspiring. By the way, these sandwiches come with fries on the side and the fries are as fantastic as the onion rings. I'm not sure that a simple 5 star rating can fully encapsulate how much appreciation and pride the employees working at Moore's Irish Pub have for their job and work place. They make you feel welcome and give you many reasons why you want to come back time and time again.

Oh my goodness. We've lived in Manitowoc for two years, and this is the best food we've found so far. I got a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it, and I don't even have words to describe how delicious it was. My husband got a Reuben, and I have never seen so much meat, sauerkraut and sauce on a sandwich. He absolutely loved it! Even our daughter's simple grilled cheese was fantastic. And the people who work here are so friendly! And the Irish atmosphere is awesome. This is a place we'll come back to!

Best Irish pub in Manitowoc! We're very happy to see Moore's. We love the food, the beer line, and the AmÉirecann flavor of the place. Good Irish music, good craic. Started out good, but went down hill fast. Sat down got drink order good, said needed a cpl minutes to decide on food order, 15 minutes later got order taken. Then another 25 minutes for a simple grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Not sure how long was sitting in kitchen but I got Luke warm fries at best, along with Luke warm sandwich, made a comment was given attitude (not sure if she thought was trying to get free food, which i wasnt) that it wasn't sitting there long at all. Well then I guess they need to turn the heat up their grill and fryer. The lady sitting next to me had same complaint about time, not sure if hers was just warm or hot. Have been there in the past and was very good.

Myself and 4 others stopped by here on a Saturday night. A single patron was in the bar when we arrived but he left shortly after. We were happy to know that the cook didn't mind firing up the grill for our food and he seem friendly and willing to serve. The main bartender was slightly rude, just... not very friendly or welcoming. If this is how she treats the only customers in an otherwise empty bar, I can't imagine how it might be if they were busy. The place also has a fruit fly problem. At least 5 flew around in front of me and over my drink during our visit. All of our food was out within 15 minutes and the cheeseburger I had was great.
