Surprise! It took them give minutes to inform me that the hot water for the coffee wasn't working, but would i like the cake anyway?

The other cake has a chocolate-focused appearance but When you try it, the green tea scent is more prominent. It has a sweet, slightly bitter taste. The dishes are beautifully decorated. The staff are attentive and take good care of you. Overall, it's very good. If you have the opportunity to come back to eat again, definitely ^^

If you are anywhere near this area would absolutely recommend stopping by Kaen Ground. They serve local roasts as well as delicious tea and the standard café fare. Their bakery is amazing and the drip coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had and they also have unique blends (coffee with rose, matcha with yuzu). Will definitely be stopping by anytime I’m in the area - highly recommend even if you are not staying at the hotel as it’s easily accessible from the ground floor. There is also a free promotion right now if you check-in on social media you get a free coffee (non-drip).
A little bit pricy compare with the taste. Their drink is just ok not bad but the strawberry danish is undercooked (flour inside). All of their dessert in the shelve were beautiful.
Staffs are very good service and help you one by one so it is the reason to pay an extra price (service fee 10% + vat 7%) which is not include in the price in menu.
Delan and Bass were super helpful, always giving me useful recommendation about their signature desserts. I love Pandan cake and the classic croissant so much. Can‘t wait to be back and try more.

It took me a few weeks before I got up the courage to actually go into this coffee shop, it looked quite intimidating. I did eventually go in, (when I saw where the entrance door was, this was a part of why it was intimidating, I fully expected to be trying to enter through a window by mistake)and was greeted by a couple of uniformed greeters/waiting staff, and was ushered to the counter about a metre from where I was standing. I ordered an espresso which was then shown to me in the menu, 60฿, which is around the normal price for an espresso in Khon Kaen. I inquired about the price of a double shot and was told that it was 90฿, I declined.
The staff, of which there were many were all helpful and friendly. I got my espresso in an Americano sized cup and was given the bill...it wasn't 60฿ anymore. With service and tax it had risen to 70.62฿. Hidden charges.....
I looked at the very very expensive cakes and pastries under the glass cloches and in the display cabinet and realised at that point this would be my first and only visit to Kaen Ground...unless I win the lottery that is, but even then....

Your typical student coffee shop. Great coffee, delicious desserts, real home made pizzas all served in a relaxing environment. Prices are in the low range which just adds value. Maybe not the easiest place to find if you don't know it exists but I guess it's mainly students who is the audience anyway. Anyhow, if you find your way here it is well worth the visit!

Nice decoration, good place for studying or reading, so many students come and it can be busy. When it is not crowded it is good place for relaxig because the jazz music and the many plants. The coffee is okay, if you order milk tea you have to accept is going to be sweet, you have other options for tea. About cakes, you have interesting options. Ain general not so cheap, not very expensive too. It is smoker friendly.
This is what is commonly known as a hidden jem. It is a delightful split level cafe with an eclectic mix of furniture and seating areas. I had the espresso frappe and it was really good. They have a good selection of coffees and teas. They also have a good selection of cakes too. It is well worth searching this coffee shop out.
The good point that I noticed from this coffee shop is that the staff are friendly and can speak english. Not only the staff, I also like the atmosphere and nice interior which makes it a good place to study or chill with friends.

A huge cafe with large outdoor area, if you like to have you coffee in a garden while listening to waterfall you can't beat this place. Large trees provide ample amount of shadows so even in late afternoon you don't feel hot.

The food and drink was good, we didn't have the desert.
Price was reasonable but perhaps on the higher side.

Wow! You won't believe it until you try it. This Thai café is a hidden gem that offers a wide range of delights, such as coffee, smoothies, Thai cuisine, pizza, dessert, and so much more. The vibes here are amazing, with lush greenery everywhere. I took my mom here, and she had a great time taking photos of all the beautiful artificial waterfalls and greenery. Everything is not overpriced, and there is plenty of parking!!!

The menu is the size of "Lord of the Rings", lots of options and photographs, I always find this a suspicious sign that chef Mike ( microwave) is back there in the kitchen. The seating is plush and casual, clean and abundantly decorated.

Ecologically moss and ferns need some tree canopy cover and lots of shade, to survive. That is a tall order, in a location, next to the ring road and with daytime temperatures, and we wish this original and unique venue 5 stars for originality.

It's the coffeehouse (please read all) with the most relaxing surroundings and the most beautiful atmosphere for miles around. A magnificent menu from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to dessert. Excellent service until a year and a half ago. It seems as if the menu is oversized or the purchasing department is no longer working. First, I didn't get anything from the breakfast menu at 10:45, with the warning that it was only served until 11:00 (no note on the menu). Three weeks later, no breakfast at 10:00. Another attempt: "too many guests," etc. Further examples follow with friends: we place orders and 10-15 minutes later, we're told "no have" What good is the most beautiful surroundings if I constantly embarrass myself in front of my friends? The service staff isn't to blame for this striking deterioration in service. I was there again this week for the first time in a long time and had to order twice again, first order „no have“.

A great Smoothie bar which also sells Coffee and Speciality Teas. One of the things we love about this place is that no ice is used, only the juicing ingredients. There are several “ready made” choices but you can alter these to taste or simply ask the the great staff to create your own recipe. This place is great to linger in with free WiFi or equally as good to just pop in to grab a take out.

Yummy, healthy smoothies, coffees, and homemade cookies made to order. The owner focuses on the best quality ingredients (and no mystery syrups) and there are so many different kinds of smoothies. I am fussy, and I could always get smoothies how I wanted them and almond milk in a latte instead of cow's milk. I spent a month in Thailand and a lot of that time in Khon Kaen, and every day I was there, enjoyed 1 or 2 smoothies, free wifi, the cool air conditioned cafe, and one of the nicest people running the shop you could meet.
Smoothie here are considerably way healthier than most in Khon Kaen. The combination of ingredients for smoothie is up to your choice and you can always ask the crew for suggestions; they know their drinks very well. Great choice of fruit and vegetables. Great yogurt.
They now add to the menu lots of coffee, tea, and chocolate drinks which are all nice. Be cautious about sweetness of these drinks though. Do not hesitate to ask for lesser sweetened option.
Occasionally, you might find some bakery too. They are one of the best Khon Kaen has to offer since it's mostly primarily baked for owner's friends.
And of course, look at those paintings held in the owner's private collection! They are so lovely.

One of the best coffee cafes in Khon Kaen! The coffee and desserts were excellent, and the staff provided great advice on coffee selections. The atmosphere, featuring numerous trees and a fish pond, was both relaxing and charming. Also, the cafe offered the free parking lot outside.
The cafe has a nice vibe and is quite calming. Perfect for alone time, work, or even studying. The coffee served looks fancier, but it tastes the same as other coffee from other cafes, which is unnecessary for someone who only drinks a simple americano with no sugar.
Nkt a place with good taste but rather than good exlerience and atmosphere. I'm no expert on the coffee soo I didn't try them out but their specialty coca is a no no. Just a jacked up beans to sell it more expensive
Hot chocolate tastes amazing, floral and fruity. With varieties of handcrafted beans by one of the owners, I highly recommend all chocolate lovers to give it a try. And the place is super cozy, suitable for both chilling and working.

Huge cafe space in town very beautiful garden and good vibes. I ordered crafted hot chocolate from Thai’s cacao bean, the taste was not balanced in the first is vinegar then ground and smoke and after taste is plastic bag (defect). Their bonbons is too sweet and butter croissant is too buttery but not bad.
Here is only one cafe in Khom Kaen which have the craft chocolate that I found now.

Trinity Cafe is a charming spot in Khon Kaen, offering a delectable selection of pastries and bakes. Their croissants come in various flavors like plain, truffle chocolate, and almond. The cafe also serves Paris Brest and Kouign Amann. Visitors rave about the crispy caneles, fluffy Shokupan, and flavorful croissants with good layers. The coffee is highly praised as well, with beautiful latte art.
Drinks was acceptable but the pastries were great. Go early and you ll be able to find street parking.

Trinity in mid town Khon Kaen is a delight ! Everyone in the family likes something they serve. Yesterday was a Ham & cheese croissant for my grandson after his math class nearby, an almond croissant for my daughter-in-law at home and I'm driving so no flaxy goodies for me this time. Young man speaks English very well and the young women are efficient and friendly ! You will be glad you came to Trinity !
Ate here for 3 of 8 breakfasts in Khon Kaen. EXCELLENT BAKES & PASTRIES. Favourites were the caneles (crispy outside, custardy inside, nicely caramelised and not burnt), Shokupan (fluffy, buttery), cube (layers), croissants (good layers, flakey outside, inner layers had a bite, buttery flavour). Coffees were good too. Good latte art! The back of the cafe also sells delicious pastas and beef cubes. You get to be surprised by a different pasta type for each order. Highly recommend!
Delicious croissant and pastries. Milk pudding was also nice. They had variety of coffee and beverages. I liked peach and apple drink. You could order croissants in advance and selected the pick up date/time.
I didn't expect much but it's a surprise for me to see this kind of coffee shop in this area. The croissant and others stuff here are just great. I think they do lot better than many shops or cafes in Bangkok.
This is a really nice coffee shop situated near the city centre (close to Fairy Plaza). The coffee is good but the croissants they serve have to be amongst the best I have eaten anywhere. ( I am not an expert on croissants, I have just eaten a lot of them) The are a tad expensive at 70 Baht for a plain one but similar croissants in Bangkok cost 100-120 Baht each.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Give it a try, it is well worth a visit.
One of the best baker in town! Try having a bite on their croissant, canale and shokupan. Specialty coffee extracted from the espresso machine is also worth paying. Reasonable price comparing to superb quality of ingredients.

New York Cheese is the best!!! Must try this flavor. If you like Thai signature test, try coconut. They are all made by 100% natural ingredient. The owner has great service mind. He let you taste his ice cream before ordering. There are only 3 tables and lack of parking space in front of the shop.
The price is just too high for some ice cream. Although the ice itself is good, some of the toppings aren't correct (and crispy).
