This is the viral bakery that I have been wanting to try for a long time. I absolutely loved it. They are known for their banana pudding and it was delicious. I went during the fall time and was able to try a few of their fall flavored pasties. I got a pumpkin cheesecake, a regular cheesecake and I believe it was some type of gingersnap pastry as well. Everything was so good. There isn't seating inside but across the street there's an area with benches I sat on to enjoy. 10/10 I would come again!

Magnolia Bakery is one of those spots that feels like a true New York moment. It is cozy, welcoming, and the kind of place that manages to be both iconic and genuinely good. Everyone talks about the banana pudding, and for good reason. It is creamy, light, and unlike anything else. But my personal recommendation is the chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing. It is simple, perfectly balanced, and exactly what a classic cupcake should taste like. The bakery itself is always clean and the staff are friendly, which makes the experience feel easy and enjoyable, even when it is busy. It is also across the street from a great little bookstore, which makes stopping by feel like you are stepping into one of those quintessential New York City days where everything lines up just right. Magnolia works for just about everyone. It is great for kids, but just as fun for adults who want a sweet treat or a nostalgic moment. Whether you are local or visiting, it is a must-go and a place you will probably find yourself returning to again and again.

Try the famous banana pudding which is surprisingly tasty with banana chunks and cookies and cream. Love it. Also got the red velvet cheesecake and Iced matcha, delicious too. Only for take out so we enjoyed them in nearby park. All the cakes look really attractive in the shop, can’t wait to try more soon.

My first time trying Magnolia Bakery and fell in love. I have the brown sugar cookie and the hot chocolate with oat milk and it was very delicious. This is great stop for quick sweet treat. I've heard great things about the banana pudding, I'll try it next time.

Finally tried Magnolia Bakery’s famous banana pudding—totally worth the hype. Creamy, fluffy, with real banana chunks and soft wafers that melt right in. Sweet but not too heavy, and dangerously easy to finish in one sitting. A NYC must-try dessert—approved and devoured.

This is a classic. I don’t think it needs any more recommendation. I obviously got the banana pudding and I was very surprised at how good it was. I also got the seasonal pumpkin spice pudding, and it was the perfect fall dessert. I cannot recommend the banana pudding enough. I actually thought about ways in which I could bring this back to Europe, so now I’m hoping they would open up a bakery somewhere in Europe.

It was my first time trying the famous banana pudding. I did not expect to like it that much. It is definitely not to be missed whenever you visit here. We also got pecan cheesecake which was good as well. It was rich and heavy.

Tried the James Beard pancakes, specifically the Pancake Flight. This consists of three different toppings. If you are not a huge fan of sweet, then forgo this. These pancakes were thick, but so light and fluffy. Would definitely go back for this alone. The other two dishes were the Cheese Grits Breakfast and Bubby's Breakfast. Nothing notable, but the cheese grits were good. Pro tip, I went for Sunday brunch and the line was LONG but the three of us opted to sit at the bar. Waited only 10 minutes and the service was excellent. It was also interesting to watch the bartenders in action during peak capacity.

A rare perfect breakfast! I really enjoyed the huevos rancheros, and two of my friends said that the biscuits in their biscuits and gravy were literally the best biscuits they had eaten. We split the pancakes with toppings and thought they were amazing, although all three of us felt glad that we hadn't ordered it as our main dish since they were so filling. We hit several already-researched restaurants on our short trip to NYC and this was definitely one of the highlights!

Had a delicious breakfast here, so glad I came! Visited around 8am on a Tuesday - was able to sit at the bar. Service was great, very friendly and responsive. I got the Hibiscus Iced Tea - server gave me extra simple syrup on the side if I wanted it sweeter. The Chicken and Pancakes were PHENOMENAL. The chicken was piping hot and crispy, perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. The pancakes were thick but still light. The butter and syrup provided allowed me to customise to my preference. I broke up the rosemary stick over the pancakes and omg I am totally putting rosemary on my pancakes from now on, it was next level delicious. The vibes are great, the staff are all friendly and smiley and the food is perfection. 10/10.

went to Bubby’s for breakfast, and although it was packed with about a 45-minute wait, it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was lively and cozy, the kind of bustling New York breakfast spot that makes you feel like you’re part of something special. I ordered the homemade home fries, which came Southern-style with sautéed onions and peppers. They were perfectly seasoned and had that crispy, golden edge that’s hard to get just right. The highlight, though, was the fried chicken and pancakes served with bourbon maple syrup. The pancakes were fluffy and rich, with a twist, there’s sour cream in the batter, which gives them a subtle tang and an extra tender texture. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference. I also sampled the cheese grits, and they were creamy, comforting, and full of flavor, a perfect side to round out the meal. Overall, Bubby’s delivered a fantastic Southern-inspired breakfast experience right in the heart of NYC. If you don’t mind the wait, it’s a must visit spot for a hearty and memorable brunch.

Reserve ahead of time! The lines get crazy so you may want to skip them. The service was the best here, very friendly and accommodating staff, however the food was okey… people say they have the best pancakes but honestly they seemed overloaded with toppings and nothing out of this world. Food comes out veeeeeery fast so definitely a plus. The siting for two people is uncomfortable, it is directly in the air conditioning blast and the tables are very near to each other so it is difficult to get in and out.

Good food… The stuffed French toast which was the week special was different… The potatoes were also exceptional! The 45 minute wait in line was craziness… Depends on how much you crave this. Service was quick and efficient… Minnie was extensive. We went on a rainy day in October so outdoor seating was limited… Only recommendation is to go early if you don’t want to wait in crazy long lines

The hostess Lena was incredibly kind and very efficient. The line for a table was long, and yet she was able to get our party seated quickly. Our server Alex was also wonderful. She was nice and very attentive. The food was great, as always! Highly highly recommend Bubby’s for anyone who may be visiting the city. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

The desserts at Dominique Ansel Bakery were very tasty, and everything we tried was really good. There was a long line, but it was worth the wait. Definitely a spot to visit at least once if you’re in New York!

Disclaimer: I came near closing time and I’ve heard that there’s a big difference in quality between early visits and late visits, with items tasting better earlier in the day. We got a DKA (Dominique’s kouign amann) and a cronut and it ended up being almost $16. The flavors of the two were good but neither were flaky at all. No flakes to be found. I was very disappointed in the lack of croissant texture. I don’t think I will return as I didn’t enjoy the “must-try” items and it was expensive. The waiter was also nice but the person manning the register was kind of rushing to get us out of the restaurant.

Ansel Bakery is a true NYC classic! Their Cronut is really good, a little too sweet for me, but still delicious. I love their cookie shot with the milk inside! There’s plenty of seating toward the back, which is nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Definitely worth checking out at least once, they have lots of other great treats too!

Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho continues to live up to the hype. I popped in for a quick treat and left completely delighted. The almond croissant had just come out of the oven about an hour earlier and was honestly perfection—crispy on the outside, delicately layered, and filled with rich almond paste that wasn’t overly sweet. Every bite had that just-right balance of texture and flavor. A special shoutout to Chapel, who went above and beyond. I mentioned loving the extra toasted almond bits that fall off the top, and without missing a beat, she added a handful to my bag. That small, thoughtful gesture made my visit feel personal and warm. Great pastries, even better service—I’ll definitely be back.

While traveling around Manhattan, hitting some bakeries and coffee shops, I stopped in at Dominique Ansel. It came highly recommended, and is the home of the original cronut, so I knew it had to be on the list to visit. There was quite a selection of options, and the cronut was pretty special. They even had a cute little outdoor garden space to sit and enjoy our food. It took them a while to get us everything we ordered, but all in all, I'd recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

TLDR: 3.5 stars, liked the cronut texture but didn’t get the flavor. Cookie shot is good but also fairly expensive I liked the texture of the cronut, like a thin deep fried doughnut. However I didn’t know what the flavor on top of the cronut was, it didn’t taste like anything specific. The cookie made into a cylinder with some vanilla milk inside was a fun play on cookies and milk but for almost $7, seemed a bit costly as well.

Can't say enough about how friendly and kind their staffs are. Beautiful, beautiful place. You dont realize it until you walk all the way to the back and you see an oasis. Plenty of sitting areas for you to enjoy indoor and outdoor while you enjoy your delicious food/desserts. We had to try their chocolate chip cookie cup with milk in it. Wow! What an unique idea. It was so soft and tasty.

It’s a very classy cafe, the decor is beautiful it transport you directly in the late 1800s. The place is huge and you have a ton of option for pastries. We got the carrot cake and strawberry cheese cake, both were excellent and fresh. The service was quick and good. We totally recommend this place if you are around.

We were looking for some dessert for after dinner and this place was closed by. We had some apple mince pie, a slice of tart, a puff pastry with fresh cream and strawberries and affogato. I think some of the dessert like mince pie should be warm up for it to taste good. The Affogato was a bit small and the tart was extremely sweet with no other flavours to cut it. Overall, big place with many seats and a great varieties of dessert to choose from!

Italian place that serves lots of different cakes and pastries. We had american cream cheese cake, red velvet, cannoli and some drinks. The cakes were absolutely amazing, and my espresso martini was also great. The classic italian decor really added to the whole experience.

TL;DR: Classic East Village bakery with tons of variety priced by weight. Great to grab a mixed box after dinner. Consistent quality and fair prices. I go every trip. Veniero’s is my go to pastry stop in NYC. You can mix and match minis instead of committing to one big cannoli. I like the fruit tarts, the chocolate chip dome, and the small layered cakes. Everything has been fresh and not overly sweet. The vibe is old school New York with long glass cases and a steady crowd. It gets busy at night, but the line moves. Prices feel fair for the quality. Pro tip: build a small box so you can taste a few different things. Easy walk-over stop after drinks or dinner, and you can usually eat outside if it is not packed. Staple spot.

my friend wanted tiramisu for his birthday so i searched for the best in the city & veniero’s came up. my friend was familiar with the place but had never gone so we’re decided to give them a try. the vibe is very cozy but busy pastry counter with an amazing selection. the tiramisu changed his life, & now when he thinks of tiramisu this is the one he’ll picture! i also tried the chocolate mousse which was yummo!

We visited Veniero’s and picked up a box of pastries. The strawberry tarts were fresh and creamy, and the cannoli with pistachios was delicious. What I really liked is that the desserts weren’t overly sweet, and the small size makes it easy to try different kinds at once. Everything looked beautiful and felt homemade.

The cakes and pastries here are outstanding, but the biscotti are very average. The almond and sesame were good, the others were not particularly flavorful. It was $6.5 for three cookies if you eat in the dining room.

Trendy shop in lower Manhattan. Small store front but really good ice cream, especially on a hot day. The wait isn't long and the staff works quickly. They have a ton of options to pick, and everyone seemed to love their flavor. Not over priced considering how popular they are.

I've been here twice already. I love that they have fished shaped cones. I like the custard flavor better than their red bean flavor. I like the mango strawberry ice cream so I winded up getting it again. This time with my own options, instead of the one on the menu. I tried to get their limited time yuzu flavored ice cream, but the cashier said it was out since the week prior.

Cool little spot in Chinatown to get ice cream treats in one of those cute 'fish shaped cone '. They don't have too many flavors but I got the chocolate tayaki cone with some chocolate syrup on top and a cookie added on top too . Really tasty . Especially on a hot day . This is actually on Baxter street right off Canal . Not too far from Broadway. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Nice place to stop for ice cream if you are in Chinatown area.

Good Japanese style ice cream dessert. They were having a special pumpkin flavor for all I am assuming. I liked it, you can taste the pumpkin flavor.

We stopped by Taiyaki NYC before exploring the Bowery graffiti, and it was such a fun treat! We tried the chocolate soft-serve with the custard-filled fish-shaped cones, and they were absolutely delicious. The cones were warm and fluffy, perfectly paired with the creamy ice cream. Seating is limited, but it’s definitely worth the stop for a unique and tasty Japanese ice cream experience.

Absolutely love Taiyaki NYC! The ice cream is so creamy and the fish-shaped cones are adorable and delicious. Everything tastes super fresh, and the flavors are unique but not too sweet. The staff were friendly and the place has such a fun vibe perfect spot for dessert! 🍦

I have been to the city many times over the past few years. I finally made my way into this gem of a bakery. Between the cakes, muffins and pies there is something for your palate. I chose the carrot cake cupcake. It did not disappoint. There was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. There was a hint of ginger and it was moist but not wet as some carrot cakes/muffins can be. The cream cheese frosting was soooo good. I wish had also gotten the hostess cupcake. Yes that’s right like the ones from your childhood. Except these are made fresh and not processed. See photo. Thanks to the staff who were super nice and the ambiance is what I would expect of a fanciful bakery. My rating is 5 stars.

Such a cozy little cupcake spot in Nolita — it feels super homey, like everything was baked with love right in someone’s kitchen. The vegan cookies and cream cupcake was seriously delicious (moist, not overly sweet), and the red velvet was really good too. Definitely want to come back to try their popular chocolate cake next time. Only downside is that their website could use a little refreshing — it doesn’t quite match how cute and warm the shop feels in person.

Popped in to try some sweets. The S'mores bar was a 3.5/5 as it was a little dry. The Nutella Bar was a 4/5. The Apple Crumb Bar was a 5/5 and was by far my favorite. I'd come back just for that. The service was great as the staff members were super nice and professional and there was no wait.

Giving stars because the shop looks nice and the workers were decently understanding when I expressed my concerns about their brownies. The cupcakes and brownies are very overrated and too sweet. They look delicious but the taste doesn’t match up unfortunately. Everything is overpriced for a mid cupcake. The rice Krispie treats may be the best thing there though! Overall, I wouldn’t come back

The strawberry cake flavor is decent but the texture is dry and needs to be more moist. For $10 per cake slice, I expect a higher quality product. The Brooklyn Blackout cake is not good and has a weird after taste.

It's cute and cozy. Always go there when I crave a gluten free cupcake. They're the best I had in NYC. Their vegan chocolate cupcakes are amazing as well. I would imagine the non gluten free cake and cupcakes are as good if not better from all the happy sugared faces.

My daughters treated me to a delicious raspberry vegan bar 3 years ago. I loved it!!! They have since shipped the same bars to me out of state. Came into town to spend my birthday with them and upon my arrival… my favorite bar waiting for me. I was so excited until I had my first bite and immediately noticed the bar is simply not the same bar. The crust is now very cake-like and devoid of flavor. The ingredients that made this bar my go to dessert in NYC have definitely changed and not for the better. It’s as if the ingredient list has been pared down to the bare minimum and the taste and texture reflects this sad change. Unfortunately, I will not return to LCB while visiting NYC nor ask for a special shipment.

Very tempting butter aroma, the croissant was really good, with almond filling inside and a cookie-like crispy outside. Maybe the croissant was so good that the cinnamon roll looked ordinary. The store also sells sandwiches, lunch salads and soups, with a lot of choices. It is a bakery that has won many awards, I will come back to buy croissants and try other foods.

Signs announcing that this bakery has been awarded best baguette and best croissant are all over the walls of this bakery with good reason. Upon entering, you’re confronted with a really mesmerizing display of breads and pastries, and the bakers in-store are happy to discuss their products and help you make a selection. Because I am limited to the confines of my human organs, I could not eat everything and picked an almond croissant and a chocolate rugelach. The almond filling was delicious and smooth, and nothing was too sweet: completely perfect. I’m a little traditional with rugelach, and I think this felt a little more like a mini chocolate croissant to me, but it was delicious nonetheless! Will be returning.

Total waste of money. Insane you buy an almond croissant and you get neither of the distinctive traits that makes a pastry an almond croissant: the studded almond crust on top, and the almond filling inside. My crust had literally two tiny flakes of an almond. That’s it. 2 shavings. And absolutely nothing inside. Even as a basic croissant this sucked, it was flat and had no lift or air inside. Staff were nice but they can’t save this total disappointment of a pastry. Edit: In response to the reply, there was nothing inside. Zoom in on the pics and judge for yourself.

Thank you! Truly. Thanks for not making me late for work this morning. I saved $12 and got a healthy breakfast from my work fridge instead. Win-win. I usually stop by 2–6 times a week for the carb-loaded goodness. Lately, though, I’ve discovered a new perk here: the staff’s talent for such engaging conversations with each other that customers at the register become invisible. Watching 4–5 staff members ignore you on your way to work is… impressive. I leave with money still in my pocket and arrive at work on time. I’m starting to think this might be the best deal in town.

Went to the Union Square location- lives up to its reputation as a go-to spot for artisan breads and delectable sandwiches. We started with their sourdough bread to go, which is a standout. The slow-fermented organic sourdough had a perfect balance of tangy flavor and a chewy, airy crumb, encased in a golden crust. If you’re a sourdough enthusiast, this is a must-try. The olive and cheese breadsticks were another highlight. And we also got croissant and palmiers were superhit. They were a fantastic snack on their own. We sat and I ordered the egg salad sandwich. My wife ordered the roasted bell peppers sandwich with cream cheese on sourdough bread was the star of the meal. The roasted bell peppers were sweet and smoky, paired beautifully with the rich, tangy cream cheese. The sourdough bread provided a sturdy yet soft base that soaked up the flavors without falling apart. The combination was simple yet executed with such precision that every bite was a delight. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. Prices are on the higher side, as expected for an artisan bakery in NYC, but the quality justifies the cost.

West Side Diamond in the rough 👍👍 Sullivan’s has fresh baked breads, pizza, sandwiches, & wine. The breads will likely be the highlight since it is sold to restaurants in the area. It is a quaint spot with a hip crowd. PROS: 1) quality & freshness 2) good lunch options 3) wine & Mimosa is a nice touch 4) established on a quiet street 5) outdoor seating CONS: 1) uncomfortable chairs & stools 2) $5 for a donut. Ouch

On a particularly warm and golden Wednesday afternoon, a few friends and I made our way to Sullivan Street Bakery—a spot I had been meaning to visit for some time. Nestled on West 47th Street, the space had an inviting charm: sunlit interiors, rustic tiling, and that unmistakable scent of fresh bread weaving through the air. We ordered: – Strecci Pomodoro – simple, satisfying, and rich with the kind of flavor that speaks to well-honed craft. – Peach Pastry – golden, flaky, and gently sweet, with a seasonal brightness that landed just right. The food, without question, was enjoyable, and the interior carried a kind of quiet, rustic hospitality that made it easy to settle in. Unfortunately, the experience was dimmed by the service. The barista on duty was noticeably curt, almost dismissive, which shifted the energy in a way that was hard to ignore. And while I’m not one to linger on negatives, there’s something about service—especially in a place that celebrates warmth and craft—that shapes everything. Before we left, we had hoped to try another pastry, but what we saw gave us pause: multiple flies hovering near the display, some landing directly on the pastries. For a bakery of this reputation, it was unexpected—and honestly disappointing. I rarely feel compelled to voice critique, but in this case, the experience didn’t reflect what I had hoped. Still, I recognize the quality of their baked goods and the history behind the name. Perhaps it was just an off day. But in a city full of exceptional bakeries, the details—both in taste and in treatment—matter.

This is hands down the best focaccia bread I’ve had in New York, crispy on the outside, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and always fresh. Everything here is made with care, and it shows. The space is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot to journal or unwind in the morning. The staff, especially Spencer, are warm and friendly, adding to the overall experience. A true neighborhood gem.

A fabulous addition to my bread-adventures, I braved a walk through times square (which would be terrifying in any conditions) in horribly aggressive wind I swear to god it was like getting run over by a pack of bulls but anyway I survived and I made it and I followed the festive Sullivan Street flag into this fine establishment. I was greeted by a rush of warm, foccacia scented air and an array of beautiful baked things. All of their bread sounded great but I went with the Truccione! An interesting choice since I'm one person and I think it would feed a family of twelve (GREAT price considering that). I'm still working my way through it. It's nice and airy inside, soft, nutty, with a great crust. It's making things like this sandwich you see here possible. I'm over the moon with it. Excited to try more of their breads

This was a lovely unpretentious bakery to have breakfast in. I had the breakfast sandwich, which though my picture of it is unexciting, was delicious, with rich Gruyère’s cheese, sausage and egg in a flaky croissant. I also had a cup of tea, which came from a really nice tea brand called “In pursuit of tea” (which aptly I then pursued to try and find that brand to buy to take home whilst I was there, and then never found). I wish I could have been there longer to try the interesting looking pizzas and pastries, but I did take home a lemon ring doughnut, which even when eaten the next day was fresh, light and just sweet enough, and not greasy, a truly perfect doughnut. Staff were super friendly and there was a nice atmosphere, though probably the seating area could be a bit cosier. Overall, really outstanding baked goods, would definitely revisit.

We discovered a fantastic breakfast spot that totally hit the mark for us! The vanilla cappuccino was simply amazing—it really set the tone for the meal. I think the setup of the Togo order line versus dine in was a bit confusing upon arrival. One of the workers had to clarify. The freshly baked goods in the window are not included on the dining in menu. Great ambience with a store connected through the backend. Bathroom was very clean and nice. Great pastries, I will definitely go again :)

Such a wonderful spot! The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee is bright and refreshing. I especially loved the ratatouille served in the pan with toasted bread—it was full of flavor and so comforting. Absolutely loved my visit to Maman! I tried the iced latte, the pistachio chocolate croissant and the mango and passion fruit bun, and they were exceptional. The latte was smooth and perfectly balanced, not too bitter, not too sweet, and the croissant was flaky, rich, and packed with flavor. The pistachio and chocolate combo was a total win. Overall, it feels like stepping into a Parisian countryside kitchen magically tucked into the middle of NYC. Always a treat and always worth a stop.

Maman is the kind of place that feels like a warm hug wrapped in a French café. We stopped in for breakfast and tried the Smashed Avocado Tartine and Papa’s Breakfast Bowl—both were absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully plated. The tartine was vibrant and satisfying, and Papa’s Bowl was hearty and comforting, the perfect way to start a day of city exploring. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. Can’t say that I agree with Infatuation’s chocolate cookie rating #5, as my cookie felt like it was way too bitter for it to be good. Good crisp and not too dense. Cookie is by weight—two rainbow cookies came out to $3.xx. I enjoyed the rainbow cookies way more than the chocolate chip. Staff was super friendly!

Anything short of 5 star review could only be written by a competitor trying to talk trash. Impossible because it’s awesome. It’s amazing. Incredible. Stupendous. Best black and white cookie. Best in New York? No, best of all times. That’s it. It’s simple. My kids got the donuts and loved them endlessly.

Had a bagel here today. Everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel appeared hand-rolled and baked well, with a nice crispy outer crust and soft interior. The bagel was a bit more chewy than I'd like but not I'd prefer that to being too bready. The bagel was fairly small but dense which is good. Seasoned well. I enjoyed the bagel but there are many great options in NYC. Could have more vegan options

Such a slept on choc chip cookie. Beats maman + levain easily if you like slight crunchy outside and chewy inner. The pistachio croissant was pretty good too

This bakery is pricey, but the goods are excellent. However, their pickup service is oddly managed — I order online for pickup, but there’s never anyone at the pickup counter, so I still have to wait in the regular line. What’s the point? They also seem to have frequent staff turnover, which isn’t a good sign

Fantastic local bakery! They have everything — pastries, bagels, bialys, cakes, breads, babkas, you name it. I loved my morning bun. It’s a flakey, gooey cinnamon pastry I’ll definitely be getting again. You can’t miss here! Highly recommend.

I was honnetly a bit let down by Levains. I just felt the cookies were not balanced in flavor and not a texture I enjoy. The magnolia was doughy, not goey, and didnt have much of a savory note and the oatmeal was the same but even drier and didnt have much oatmeal in it.

I got one chocolate chip walnut cookie and one s’mores cookie. Both were really good, and seemed like they were baked recently. I also got a cold brew coffee which was very acidic. This made it hard to drink, I ended up throwing it out.

This is a clean, spacious and welcoming bakery, which boasts terrific products. Despite its elegance, it simultaneously offers a down-to-earth feel. My friend and I dropped by there a couple of months ago, in the AM hours...it was about 9 AM on a Sunday. And I'm sorry that I didn't get the name of the young lady at the front who served us, as she was very sweet and professional. Yet with that said, the main takeaway here is not actually their ambiance, vibes or even lovely staff members. The main takeaway, Cookie Monster, is their SWEETS!! LOL They make and sell absolutely wonderful, and I mean *wonderful* cookies. : ) Sure, they are pricey, but treats like this should not come cheap. Because, from my limited lived experience (yet speaking as someone with a true "sweet tooth"), they're the best in town. These decadent cookies melt in your mouth. And, from what I can taste, no amount of butter is spared in making them. They are 100% goodness, with goodness being an understatement! So, the next time you walk by a Levain Bakery and you need a gift -- for yourself or someone else! -- don't hesitate to buy the best for the best. Delicious cookies! Big, soft and full of flavor. Prices are great and the place is very pretty. I ordered four cookies, three dark chocolate chip cookies and one adding peanut butter. They were awesome, my family and me loved them! The location is really good, and the staff was nice. They have a variety of options to choose. A must go! Keep it up. ☺️

Supermoon Bakehouse has a very edgy trendy interior mixed with such unique flavor combinations which is what drew me here in the first place. My friend and I had a hard time deciding what to get because everything seemed so interesting. We went with the strawberry matcha croissant, Banana pudding cruffin, and white Sesame, honeycomb & sweet soy gelato. We started by tasting the gelato which wasn't as punchy in flavor as we had hoped. The banana cruffin had great banana custard filling but we wished the textural difference between the pudding and the crisp croissant was more drastic. The matcha strawberry croissant was my personal favorite. ACTUAL matcha flavor which is hard to find nowadays and the croissant was so buttery and held its own against the sweetness of the strawberry! After trying everything else and the gelato melted a little the flavors popped out more! Definitely give this place a shot if you want to try new and interesting flavors!!

I love creative bakeries like this, who don't settle for the ordinary and try the daring. I gave their chilli croissant and the ube eclair a try. The chilli croissant had a nice flaky texture, as you would expect from any good bakery. The chilli cream cheese was inserted in the middle of the croissant, which meant it wasn't evenly distributed. The flavours were nice though and it's worth trying for something different. The ube eclair was done well. The choux pastry was just right. The uber icing and ube centre was just the right level of sweetness, with little candy pieces decorated on top, giving a nice crunchy texture. It was certainly the highlight. Would definitely recommend stopping by to try their creations. Not cheap, but it's all about the art.

Got the spicy nyc croissant (savory, not really spicey, has cream cheese inside with hints of black pepper), and scallion pancake Danish (i like this savory croissant, not spicey, has nice crunch texture, very good, would get this again) Thai tea eclair also very good, tasty, taste just like Thai tea 😁 I was able to sit inside, limited seating. Also it gets busy, so go early,things could sell out and they will post a sold out label in front of the items. I don't go often, but every time I come here there's always a variety of pastries to choose from sweet to savory and all good and worth trying.

Admittedly, social media brought me here, but—unlike other TikTok inspired food journeys—this was well worth it. I see some of the reviews touch on the brutalist architecture of the store, and I understand if that’s not your vibe but I personally loved it: I felt like I was in some video game or sci-fi 80s movie that involved dark warehouses and hidden pastries… although the pastry isn’t hidden: a lineup of croissants, eclairs, cookies and more are displayed along the counter and the very pleasant (and patient) pastry experts behind the counter and very sweet about helping you make a choice. I went with the ube eclair, which is probably the best eclair I’ve ever had. All of their treats are very pretty, but this one has an equally vibrant purple filling and the flavors were the perfect balance of buttery, salty, creamy and sweet. Fully intend on returning because I almost went for the Thai tea eclair and now I want it more.

Finally made a point of visiting this high performance bakery. Very spartan concrete & steel space with the functioning bakery behind a red toned industrial polyurethane curtains. All available items are placed on a 16’ stainless steel island. A little over 20 items were displayed on my visit from ice cream sandwiches to sweet pastries to baguette sandwiches for take away. I chose the passion fruit custard donut, mango lime custard donut, Thai iced tea bi-color croissant, ube éclair along with one scoop of Thai iced tea and Kaya toast gelato & a scoop of sesame honeycomb and sweet soy gelato in a cup. The gelato texture was quite excellent and the flavor was certainly unique and rich. I enjoyed them both. We saved the pastries for an after dinner dessert. The flavor of the passion fruit custard donut & ube éclair were absolutely exemplary. The mango/lime custard donut was very tasty as well. The croissant was larger than most due to the luscious Thai iced tea custard lurking within! All the pastries were filled abundantly! The two gentlemen at the island were all smiles & clearly confident of all the offerings. They were knowledgeable & helpful too. The items are expensive but that’s more a statement of the quality ingredients & labor intensive demands of each handmade product. I highly suggest a visit. It is a very worthwhile trip.

Talk about cool…. This place gives retro-futuristic vibes, like I could see a robot serving up the orders but also an actual really cool human waitress. The customer divide was nice and the pastries were even better. I do not like eclairs at all - or so I thought. The Thai tea eclair was soooo good. I also got the strawberry matcha latte croissant and it was divine. The strawberry flavor alone was so delicious like strawberry milk. I love how they were sold out of things but still had a good selection left by the end of the day and it wasn’t stale. Will definitely be back here. It’s not your average bakery

Unfortunately did not have the greatest experience. Got 2 ice cream sandwiches which came to about $24 and the ice cream was melting before even opening the packet. They did add seating in the front so we were able to sit and eat there but it was a mess since the ice cream was essentially soup. There also wasn’t enough staffing to do the work in the back and mind the front so they weren’t helpful with quality control, we ended up asking for spoons because it was spilling out the of package and onto the table. Taste wise, the sandwich part was great, just wish we got to experience it as it was meant to be.

As a NYC foodie, I’ve tasted my way through countless bakeries—and Petee’s Pies is in a league of its own. The crust is crusty with that perfect New York bite: golden, buttery, and just the right amount of flake. The tart cherry is bold and bright, the cheesecake is perfectly creamy, and the peach?- Pure summer in a slice. Every pie tastes like it was made with love and the best ingredient. This is a true hidden gem worth crossing boroughs for. I’ll be back!

I do like my wild blueberry crumble a lot and I intend to buy another slice tomorrow. The crust was very crunchy and the fillings were not too sweet and just the right amount versus the flour. The base was nicely constructed and did not feel too heavy.

This pie spot in Delancey is their perfect spot for some cozy pie. When you walk-in, it smells absolutely heavenly. The inside of the shop has limited seating and is mostly made for grab-and-go. They also have a variety of pies on display, but you can get slices in little boxes to enjoy! I got their seasonal blueberry and apple pies, and they were both delicious. I thought the apple pie was a bit too sweet for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the blueberry one. Not normally the biggest fan of pies, but these were good!

We recently ordered a whole NY sour cherry pie for the July Fourth. It was our dream cherry pie! Not too sweet--the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness. Topped with vanilla ice cream it was sublime! The crust was flakey and stayed delicious next day. Delivery was on time, they communicated promptly, and the pie arrived in the perfect shape. Will order again for sure!!!

I must say the best new type of pie I have ever tasted is the Guava Marscapone poe. It is simply delicious and perfect texture to cream to crust ratio. I just fell in love eith a pie that isnt my staple everyday pie. I will be buying the whole pie, because this pie is worth it. I'm sorry my current photo isnt the pie but OCT. 9th I will update my photo collection with the whole pie insyead of a slice!

Ordered two slices via DoorDash for a lil treat to my hotel. They arrived quickly and well packaged. The Maine blueberry slice was sooo good but really messy. I loved the crust! The chocolate chess was good as well, but not as good as others I’ve had in the past. The blueberry slice was surprisingly my fave

I had a matcha latte that was remarkably perfect. I tried many pastries. Their an pan dough is the stuff pastry dreams are made of. Chewy and sweet inside with a touch of mouthwatering, fragrant pastry tang and an outside that is smooth and perfectly browned. My favorite was the kurumi white bean paste bun with the added walnuts for a rich, deep flavor. Second favorite was the cream pan. Unpopular opinion - I was underwhelmed by the paste in the red bean an pan. The dough is phenomenal, but the paste lacked flavor compared to other red bean paste items I have had. If I had this visit to do over, I would skip that one and the melon pan, which didn’t do much for me. I wish I would have tried the souffle cheesecake, the matcha crepe, and the sugar raisin pastry. There are so many choices here. It’s a top quality bakery. If you’re curious, just go. Don’t miss it.

If you lack any self control, then avoid this place. I found out the hard way when I curiously poked my head inside this bakery as people were coming in and out. Ended up buying a matcha red bean bun and a soft fluffy cheesecake. Both were excellent and very well priced. I shall walk around this bakery in future to avoid temptation. Well done to the bakers for the delicious treats!!!

Cozy little bakery. Had variety of pastries and drink options. Sadly located under the infamous New York City scaffoldings. The staffs were helpful and there were good number of seatings available in the back. Restroom available nearby the seating area. Hot food were also available which is great for quick bite followed by savory pastries afterwards. The drinks were average but the pastries were delicious. You can also see through the window in the back to see them making the bread. Overall it's a cozy bakery with pleasant experience. Recommend visiting if you are near the WTC memorial/Oculus.

A Japanese bakery with an affordable price and a wide variety. The bread is very fresh. My favorite is mochi🍵 anpan with mochi and bean paste 🫘. Delicious 😋 5/30 additions: Restroom is spacious and very clean✨

I’ve been meaning to try this bakery for a while now and finally got to try today with my husband. The breads were delicious, soft and chewy and fillings were not too sweet. We tried the hot chocolate with oat milk as well and it was smooth and not too sweet which was just perfect! Service was very friendly and efficient. Loved the small sitting area towards the back side of bakery where you can enjoy some leisure time while enjoying delicious bread and your drink

They don’t even have oregano or olive oil to put on their pizza! Kind of lame for a $17 small piece of pizza! Kind of untasty. Not to mention, they don’t even have any salt or pepper, anything! And also it’s called “Frenchette” but there is nothing French about this place. (Nice place through)

Best French Bread I've ever had! The Hot Cocoa is amazing! Only thing that's sucks is that most of their baked goods start to sell out around lunch time. Early morning is the best if you want warm French Bread. Freshly made!

The croissant looked great but it was not flakey at all. More like a bread texture. I would say this is like a croissant you can get at the supermarket. Coffee was good.

We do like everything in here. Their meals are delicious. We taste Duck Rillette, Tuna, Croustillant and of course Twice Baked Pistachio. Good service, beautiful people!

Amazing café in a cozy setting. Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had - I accidentally spilled it midway through, but the manager was so kind to help clean it and even offered a replacement! [2024 UPDATE] Frenchette's Galette des Rois is LEGIT. Combining pistachio and Bergamot orange frangipane, Frenchette gave this festive golden pie a new life. The caramelized top completed the buttery deliciousness. It would have been perfect if they reheated the slice for me. But never mind the puff pastry was surprisingly still very flaky with crackling crunchy sound. Compared to their Twice Baked Pistachio Croissant, this Pistachio Galette des Rois was less oily and less sweet. I've tried pistachio rasberry galette des rois in Japan this year but it was way too sweet. Glad that I have found a real winner at Frenchette. ——— A french boulangerie tucked inside a grand and classy building. Aggressive pricing. The opening hours are quite short (until 4pm on weekdays, 2pm on weekends), and the pastries sell out quickly. I was lucky to grab the last egg savory in the shelf at 1pm. Tables are spread along the hallway. Perfect spot for some quick bites. ＊ Twice Baked Sicilian Pistachio Croissant Unlike other bakeries, they don't skimp on pistachio frangipane and crumbs in their croissants. Sadly their croissant pastry was overwhelmingly buttery, like indulging in spoons of oil. I felt guilty after eating it lol. The pistachio filling was dense and nutty but lacked the depth of flavors comparing to Librae's rose pistachio croissant (Yes, I'm a sucker for librae). The quality of their pistachio croissants is quite inconsistent tho - i heard mixed reviews from frds and found that we all had diff pastry texture and filling portion. ＊ Market Greens Egg Savory The orange egg yolk was supposed to be runny according to pictures online, but mine was fully cooked. Once again, the danish layers were very flaky, however quite greasy. Undoubtedly overpriced ($9 each). ＊ Cappuccino w/ Oat Milk Very mid but it was an essential to boost my gloomy midday mood. My Recommendation: Twiced Baked Pistachio Croissant Worth Returning ? Yes I'm looking forward to galette des rois season!

I recently visited this bakery and ordered a cappuccino and an Americano. The drinks were absolutely delightful, with a rich and satisfying flavor. The pistachio croissant was good but since I’m not a big fan of twice baked croissants, it wasn’t my favorite and a bit heavy. But it can be an absolute delight, which is filled with a generous amount of pistachio goodness. The ambiance of the bakery is fantastic – it's a great place to work, relax, and enjoy your time. this was my first time trying Chip City cookies and I’m positively surprised! The cookies were sweet, gooey, and just perfect. I got the chocolate chip, blueberry cheesecake and reese’s peanut butter blast cookies and all of them were great (although my favorite one was blueberry cheesecake). Also employees were patient and friendly 🖤🍪

These are not your regular cookies, these are the best cookies in town. They are big, chunky, freshly baked and they taste like a little piece of heaven. There are 13 flavors in total yet they do 4 different ones each day. There is usually always a line outside no matter what time but it runs fast and they are worth the wait. Each cookie is about $4.75 each or 3 cookies for about $14 total. Small place with big flavors. My favorites are oatmeal apple pie and chocolate chip. The oatmeal one tastes like a perfectly baked apple pie, with the right amount of sweetness, so soft and so delightful. Now as a chocolate lover, the chocolate chip cookie is just perfection for me.

Oh what a shop to be in!! I love this cookie shop!! Their cookies are so damn good. I cannot tell you how great they are! They cost a tad bit more than a regular run of the mill cookie but I promise, they’re so good. My favorite is the s’mores cookie. Metered parking is available but you can’t sit in the cookie shop. The customer service is excellent, my server was super friendly and helpful. Pre-ordering is also available.

Ordered 4 chocolate chip cookies. Not impressed at all. Needs to be sweeter saltier and chewier. It tastes too dense, crispy and doughy somehow all at the same time. It’s also entirely way too large. Idk why certain establishments are obsessed with making these gargantuan cookies but then forget to focus on the flavor and texture. Like thanks for the value but it still doesn’t taste great. You’ve only accomplished giving me an even larger mediocre chocolate chip cookie. Insomnia Cookies is better than this place. If you want an actual good chocolate chip cookie, go to Culture Espresso or 7 Grams in NYC. THAT is what it should taste like. Even LeVain is way better than this if you must have a baseball sized cookie. Unfortunately, I am still searching for anything decent in my neighborhood of Astoria. Why is this so damn hard to find? People trying way to hard with the simplest of cookies smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not what it used to be. Maybe my memory betrays me, but this old-fashioned donut is way sweeter and greasier than a few years ago. It’s contrary to Mah-Ze-Dahr’s philosophy of “not too sweet”. I stopped coming here because they never had the old-fashioned donuts whenever I visited—the brioche donuts are not a substitute. I was ecstatic to see it in the display case as it has been years since I had it, but it’s just not the same. Still pretty good though.

A very cute Cafe’ with Pastries, Croissants, Cakes and so much more. Very homely and nice ambience and a very kind and responsive staff. We tried Iced Mocha, Latte’, Coffee Cake and more… The coffee cake was really nice, very subtle level of sweetness and flavor. The Mocha was very good as well. If You’re walking about in the area, this is a GREAT place to stop by, grab some coffee and cake, chill.. Definitely recommend a good place to wind down and enjoy something sweet…

Their hospitality is unmatched! We placed an order for coffee and dessert and there was some confusion regarding the coffee order and they didn’t ring us up for it. And when we asked, they just gave it to us on the house despite us offering to pay! After paying for our order, we decided to buy their famous donut.. which they also gave on the house. This kind of service and hospitality are rare and create a strong sense of customer loyalty. Their taste is as hyped but 20/10 marks for warmth and hospitality

Paid $5.17 for a cappuccino that’s not listed on menu. Small cup but nice flavor & aroma. Pastry selection is a bit limited. Looked like most customers came for the coffee. Cozy spot but unfortunately no restroom for an indoor cafe. There is also outdoor seating which appeared quite comfortable under shaded umbrellas. Service was quick with no wait… AVERAGE I say

An absolute gem! We were waiting for our dinner reservation around that area and wanted to grab a quick coffee! The mocha almond croissant (I couldn’t resist it though we had a nice dinner planned for in an hour) was delicious! And the coffee was great too. The staff were super friendly and attentive to everyone walking in. Can’t wait to go back to try their brioche donut!

We are Louisiana natives who happened to be in Bronxville for the Sarah Lawrence production of Rent and heard Chantilly had a whole Mardi Gras festivity. I was highly impressed with their king cake, croissant and bread pudding. We went back twice 😂 their food is legit. We will be back next year and I highly recommend buying local for my NY (and NJ, where we live) peeps for Chantilly's king cake instead of wasting $40 plus on shipping! It's LEGIT. Thank you Chantilly for bringing a piece of home to us Cajun girls.

I ordered cake pops for my sister-in-law’s baby shower, and they were absolutely perfect! Not only were they adorable and beautifully made, but they were also incredibly deliciou. We also got chocolate-covered Oreos, cupcakes and cookies, and they were just as amazing. Everything looked so pretty on the dessert table and tasted even better. Highly recommend this bakery for any special occasion treats!

Amazing little bakery in Bronxville serving sweet, a few savory baked goods and coffee/tea items. I took a few good pictures to showcase the variety. The hours of the bakery are restricted - Thursday, Friday (7am-2pm), Saturday from 8am - 2pm at the store, and 8:30am-1pm at the Bronxville Farmers Market. Thank you to the owner for reaching out to update the hours I had originally posted. The parking in the immediate vicinity is metered street parking.

I definitely recommend you stop in early morning before you begin your errands. Everything from coffee your way to pastries & croissants are to die for. If you are like me.. you are going to want to try one of almost everything. Please go and support this pastry shop, it’s so good.

We live literally next door and we’ve tried this place many times. Staff is basically rude and unfriendly and based on our several purchases I can say treats are getting worse and worse. Many times they are baked the day or days before. We are no longer client, we prefer the cafe at the station or Park Place around the corner. I will definitely get in touch with the the owners hoping we can be loyal customers again in the future

Lovely coffee shop. It's cozy and the pastry smell is deliciously overwhelming. I sat here for 15 mins in the morning before going to work. I ordered a latte and an almond croissant.. I am not usually an almond person but decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. It was delicious! Will stop by for more!

The recommendation to use Chantilly Patisserie came from another pastry shop that would be on vacation for the date of my daughters baby shower. I'm very thankful they were kind enough to share their suggestion. Maria at Chantilly Patisserie was a pleasure to work with and very honest in her suggestion of my choices. Being that they are closed on Sundays I had to pick up my order on Saturday. I have to admit I was a little nervous about the cake and pastries holding up overnight. Well, I'm so happy I took the chance. Everything could not have been more perfect. I followed their directions on transporting and storing all the baked goods and did not have any issues at all. The guest at the shower enjoyed everything so much there was not a piece of dessert left. Thank you for everything Maria. When we're in the area you will definitely be seeing us again! Simply delicious!

Their food is better than just bar food! Had brunch on weekend, and everything was good. Would have been nice if they put more veggies and bigger fish for fish taco, but other than that, their fries are crispy and not too grease, and they also have some kids menu options.

Love Hudson Hall! It’s one of the best spots in Jersey City to catch a game—huge space, great energy, and the kind of place that’s perfect for a rainy afternoon of sports and beer. Their wing special during games is a major win—steep discounts on their smoked wings, which are seriously tasty. The rest of the food is solid too, and their beer selection is exactly what you’d want from a sports bar: varied, cold, and reliable. That said, service can be slow if you’re seated, and they really pack those benches in, so be ready to get cozy. Still, this place is a true JC staple, and one I always look forward to going back to.

Great staff in the smaller back bar, looked after our table in a big crowd watching the Knicks final game. Food was great and the beer options were strong. Only gripe was having to reserve tables at the main bar for a game when the website says the opposite.

I’ve only been here on game days (NFL). The atmosphere is always kinda electric; depends on who you support. They have week brunch till 4, you can order a lot great cocktails - I recommend the Irish coffee. It can get a bit rowdy, but that’s what sports is all about. I really love the exposed brick architecture and the selection of beers as well.

Stopped for a quiet drink on a Wednesday lunch time. This was the last day of our stay and I wish we had found it sooner. Great bar, plenty of seats and TVs everywhere showing sport. Great service.

I can’t really speak to food because I don’t know if they had it or not. We were in it for the atmosphere and the drunken coconut. We also got the espresso martini which is good if you need a quick pick me up. Highly recommend this spot. They also have two monkeys doing it. Great spot before or after veselka.

Not what you expect as you ascend the apartment-like steps, but then you encounter a cozy cavern with classic decor and great mixed drinks. Billiards, too. They have atmosphere and then some.

The bartender did not honor the happy hour price deal even when directly asked if it was bogo hours and what type of drinks were bogo. We ordered highball cocktails, nothing fancy, two ingredients. It was watered down as well. Only good part was that the food is actually good and there is a pool table!

I lead a new community group and we hosted our first official event at Kingston Hall. We reserved the back room and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The space was free to reserve, the happy hour deal is ideal (specialty drinks are delicious, but not included), and we were able to purchase some platters to feed the group. Staff was very friendly and accomodating while making reservations, a day we popped by to check out the space, and the day of the event. We were allowed to put up decorations, arrange the chairs and tables to fit our needs, and bring our own speakers and mics. It is also an ideal location being close to Union Square, so it was a good commute for most. Only inconvenience was that the kitchen staff needed to walk through the room, as the kitchen entrance is there, but we made it work. Highly recommend for a group event, or just to take advantage of the happy hour.

Had my birthday party here and it was amazing! Everyone working was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the drinks were really yummy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun spot to celebrate or just hang out at!

They were able to make us 90 or so loves of sourdough bread as a wedding favor!!! They came out adorable and delivered them packaged and fresh like this the morning of!! They even found tag ideas I ended up using!! Im a customer for life, thank you!!!

Very disappointing- came in for a sourdough baguette which was very good- that’s why I gave 4 stars for food. But the weakest most bitter drip coffee I’ve had in years - I tried to make it drinkable with more milk and sugar but it was beyond repair and after two sips I threw it out. Also ordered an almond croissant but received a chocolate one. I didn’t go back because the staff were not friendly and disinterested in engaging with me. Otherwise atmosphere was ok - no one else was in the shop despite it being a nice Sunday morning and other local places were very busy.

I don’t like their pastries. I ordered a croissant last time but it was stale. The interior is very dark and the service is not very welcoming. However, their hot cross buns are fantastic. This Aussie chain bakery is known for rolling out hot cross buns every year. Their chocolate flavor is a standout this year. It is piped with chocolate icing and filled with chocolate chips. It really impresses me from all the other regular flavored hot cross buns. FYI this is also the most expensive hot cross bun I’ve gotten. $5.17 after tax.

Came here based on a recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed. I had the almond croissant and carrot cake with Chai tea and everything was delicious! The cake was moist and the croissant was flaky. The space was also clean and welcoming. To top it all off I received excellent service from Sofia who was at the til. Would definitely come back!

Great Australian and contemporary food from this nice bakery/cafe with a good amount of seating, with tons of great savory items like sausage rolls, savory pies and croissants and sandwiches to choose from. For sweets they have cookies, cake slices and muffins. They also have a nice collection of breads, hot and cold drinks. We got the Shakshuka danish (great), pork and fennel sausage (great), chickpea eggplant feta and mint roll (decent) and the chocolate sour cherry cookie (good). They also have frozen down versions of their customer favorites to taken home. They did not have the Australian iced coffee though.

We loved living next to the original Bourke Street Bakery in Sydney many years ago, and so were excited to try the one here. Jup, it's great, we love it. The croissants and pastries are very well done, bringing a bit of Australia to NYC.

Okay. First, the pastries are pretty darn tasty. The pistachio and raspberry lattice is very, very good. I would even wager it's good enough to warrant the steep price. The pain au chocolat was fine, the black sesame and tahini croissant was okay. Maybe I should have opted for a plain or savory item because, while I was good with them, I wasn't blown away. I also think they are not for everyday consumption because the prices are higher than many bakeries in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Again, it was good, and the service was good, but I wasn't wowed... Continuing the quest for the best chocolate chip cookie, I got one. Again, it was good. Like everything, it's fine, but I don't think I would go out of my way to get these pastries again.

One of my favorite bakeries in NYC! I tried their pretzel cheese twist (soft, chewy, savory), pistachio lattice (perfect balance of solid pastry, sweet pistachio paste, and a dash of tartness), and black sesame chocolate croissant (rich, nutty). Enjoyed everything and wish I could be there more often!

Visited Somedays Bakery during my recent trip to NY and was blown away with how fresh and flaky the pretzel pastry was. The selection to choose from was wonderful and we took our treats down to the waterfront to enjoy with a view. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

After a very delicious dinner nearby, we were looking for an equally good dessert and found ourselves stopping by Somedays Bakery in the search of one. The interior is clean and cozy albeit small. They have a smaller amount of offerings than other bakeries but that seems to work more in their favor. The workers were friendly and offered help deciding what to eat but we opted to get the brownie and it was very good. It has a bit of a salty flavor which I’m assuming is due to them using sea salt as an ingredient, but it doesn’t take away from the rich chocolate flavor it has. We would recommend this as a dessert option for those in the neighborhood but we will admit it is a bit out of the way since it’s located closer to Gantry Plaza and away from Vernon and Jackson Aves.

I’ve always loved Astoria — it feels more down-to-earth and less pretentious than a lot of places in the city. Today just reinforced that. I’d heard a lot about Somedays Bakery, especially their divine pistachio lattice, so when I happened to be visiting a friend nearby, I finally decided to check it out. The moment I walked in, I was hit by the smell of fresh-baked pastries — honestly, one of those core memory moments. But what really stood out wasn’t just the pastries (which, spoiler, are amazing), but the people running the place. The pistachio lattice were still in the oven when we arrived, and we didn’t mind waiting. About 30 minutes later, when they were finally ready, we went back in — and the person packing our order was so kind. She even gave me the little extra crispy bits from the baking tray! And then, at the counter, I witnessed this sweet exchange where the staff were trying to not let an elderly gentleman pay for his order. It was such a heartwarming, genuinely wholesome moment. The whole vibe of the place just felt… homely. Like you were part of a neighborhood, not just a customer. I’ll definitely be coming back. Places like this deserve every bit of the love they get.

First time at Somedays Bakery and everything was wonderful. The service, Pistachio Lattice, and experience as a 10/10. I would highly recommend this bakery and can’t wait to return to enjoy more of their delicious treats!

Coffee options are quite limited but their pastries are the true star. I got their summer special, a passion fruit flavored item, which was perfectly sweet and creamy. They also offer outdoor seating. Definitely give them a try if you are in the neighborhood!!

Delicious desserts for all hours of the day. I had the Milk Bar pie and Sundae combo deal. They were both good. The vanilla soft serve ice cream is a cereal milk tasting flavor which my husband did not like. He thought it was good but his flavor of choice. The pie was very rich maybe too rich for me. Eating it together was delicious though. Prices were good. Selection was good. Seating available was good. It’s a nice place to sit and satisfy your sweet tooth for sure.

Had this place recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! We ordered the lemon meringue pie and cereal milk soft serve, and it definitely satisfied our sweet tooth. The girl taking our order was also super sweet. Would definitely visit again if I’m ever in NYC again!

This place has definitely gone way downhill. The employees don’t care, the music is too loud and this is what a “Pie and Soft Serve” looks like. Everyone understands that when someone orders pie and ice cream, the ice cream should be on top of the pie. And also the pie should be warm. Here instead you get this and the pie is refrigerated solid out of a box. Very dissatisfying

Honestly? Average. Just average. I came here expecting a fun, creative dessert stop something sweet to wrap up the night, but everything just kind of fell flat. The snacks looked cute, sure, but the flavors were uninspired. Our drinks were lukewarm, the sugar hit too strong, and it all felt like the staff was more eager to close up than serve something memorable. Quick notes for fellow dessert hunters: Service: Polite and minimal, just enough to take the order and move things along. Food: Ok. It's ok. Atmosphere: Clean enough, but the energy was as tired as the drinks. Nothing terrible, but nothing special either. Out of everywhere I visited in NYC, this was the most forgettable stop, which is saying something in a city full of flavor.

Really beautiful and vintage old 50s diner. Living for it! Staff really kind. Looks clean. Taste not as hyped for, and kinda expensive. But still a good place to hangout for a little bit and get a coffee.

My wife, daughter, and I stopped by and had a wonderful experience. Jasmine was the best! She was so helpful and friendly, we loved her! She hooked us up with stickers and this cool bag! Did I mention the ice cream is so delicious?!? I highly recommend going here.

EDIT: the Win Son Bakery team responded pretty quickly when I tagged them on socials about the issue I initially posted below. They were actually very kind and rather quick about it (responded same day). They moved just as fast during the refund process (issued it within the same hour I filed my info on a claim). Of course ideally the mix up wouldn’t happen in the first place but their customer service was pretty great after the fact. - I’ve gone to this place a few times and the food is always good and service is usually great but today I had a small off experience. I had gotten up to grab a to go box for the rest of my food. I had maybe been gone literally like 40 seconds and when I came back someone had thrown all the food out. I suppose I could have asked the girls next to me to watch it just in case but I felt like there was a decent amount of food left and one item I wasn’t even really touched (I took one bite of it) and it was thrown out. I think what bothered me the most though was the server who threw it out realized when I was standing there with a new to go box kind of confused and bummed and there wasn’t really an acknowledgement that it was a mistake. He just kind of said “oh I’ll take that,” grabbed my box, and threw that out too…. weird encounter and wasn’t really pleasant. I’m bummed because I paid full price for a food item I didn’t get to really eat and wanted to save for later and it ended up in the garbage.

I stopped by Win Son for brunch. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the fried chicken box and it was really good! Well-seasoned, crispy and juicy. I would recommend this place located in the hip neighborhood of Bushwick on Graham Ave. Outdoor seating is also available.

Win Son Bakery is a true gem in Brooklyn!! everything I've tried has been so good, but I have to give a special shoutout to their BEC scallion pancakes. The pork is insanely flavorful and tender, and the scallion pancake sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese? A total game-changer. Crispy, savory, satisfying... I could eat it every day. Their menu is creative with bold flavors. Everything is made with care and intention you can really taste it. If you're in Brooklyn and craving something unique and delicious, Win Son Bakery is a must. Trust me go hungry!

this was a bit disappointing, especially with how many good things I've heard about it. I didn't dislike the food at all, it wasn't bad, but I also didn't love it either. the thing is: none of the places I went to in New York have been BAD, but this is one of the places that I won't be going back to. even if I was super craving Taiwanese food, I don't think this place properly satisfies that itch. maybe for people who've never had Taiwanese food before?

Which is why I so appreciate, that in this waterfront city, you choose to offer your customers the dignity of real silverware, ceramic mugs, and glasses for water. I love to support businesses that are mindful of our impact on the environment, locally and globally. So thank you for setting an example of how a café can operate sustainably. So fun and tasty I came here twice during my short 3 day stay in Brooklyn. Playful Chinese-fusion bakery treats. Get the pancake wraps. Other overlooked items are the soymilk (with dough sticks to dip in) and asian salads Trrated myself with a red rice donut too.

A modern and innovative bakery with strong potential to keep growing. Order: Scallion pancake cheese and egg, mochi donut, fan taun, nian ago sesame fig, jasmine lavender milk tea, latte = $53~ The scallion pancake and mochi donut I've seen meet viral status on social media, for the amount of hype it's received Id say it's more the innovation behind it that's appealing than the taste. Nothing extraordinarily groundbreaking but it's an interesting refreshing twist to try. Same goes to the humble fan taun. What my friend and I mutually agreed is absolutely delicious is the seasonal nian gao fig pastry. Nian gao batter, layered with creamy custard, fig jam and topped with smooth mascoropone cream and figs - WOW. You don't have to be a sweet tooth to enjoy this, you just need to love yourself enough to treat yourself with this. Kudos to the pastry chef. The drinks itself was fine but I felt the food does the storytelling here. I'd revisit to give the menu another shot out of curiosity. This place is for those who want to broaden their taste palette.

Small cute coffee shop with good products overall. First of all, the drinks are directly made to go, without the waiter even asking, which I didn’t expect. The atmosphere is nice, but the vibe overall is not cozy and the staff is not very attentive. People come in and go all the time, it is not really the right place to enjoy a cozy coffee and/or to study. I liked their coffee though, and the bowls are good too.

TLDR coffee, pastries and food are great. Service is very slow. If you are in a hurry, don’t get your coffee there. If you are sitting, be mindful that it will take a while. This is my second time at this coffee shop. My first time was at a casual Wednesday around 3pm. The place wasn’t too busy. I ordered a cookie and a latte. I got the cookie pretty quickly but the coffee took forever. I was the only one in line, I was meeting a friend with had already ordered her coffee. It took mine nearly 15 minutes to be ready. Again, I was the only one in line. Second time was today, a Sunday at 3:50pm. I had 15 minutes wait for the bus so I thought to grab a coffee. I was waiting for 10 minutes with 2 other people that were waiting for their coffee as well. I almost missed my bus. Was thinking to give up on the coffee, but I got it right on time as I saw the bus arriving the station. I really want to love this place and go there more. But with the service being so slow as if there is only one person giving service to everyone, is such a bummer. I do want to mention that the staff odd being nice and welcoming. It is just very very slow.

EXPAND COMMENT FOR THE COMPLAINT! I absolutely love this place. One of my favorite coffee shops to go to. Generous employees, great coffee, even better food! MY ONLY COMPLAINT! The Air Conditioning does NOT work. It feels like a sauna inside. The fact that employees must work in these conditions seems criminal. And it is only going to get more hot as the summer continues to run its course. Owners need to do something about this ASAP. Or they will see a drop in sales. Plenty of other coffee shops nearby where you are not subjected to that kind of heat. No one wants to step inside a coffee shop (away from the heat of a NYC summer day) and be met with the same if not worse conditions that are outdoors. FIX THIS.

The flavor of my latte was good. However theres multiple flies inside the pasteries. Theres no way the staff doesn’t know, so I can’t give this place above 1 star.

A nice cafe to work from. Though seats are plenty, it was relatively busy when I went. There is a clean restroom in the basement, which is always a huge plus. I ordered a blue bowl. They were nice enough to sub the banana for me. Though I was a little disappointed at the bowl. The toppings felt skimpy to me. I forgot the bowl came with cacao nibs until I felt a bite and saw there were a few more. The housemade granola is tasty, vegan and gluten free for all my friends who need to know.

Kaffe Åre offers more than coffee it gives you a moment of stillness in the city. Their brews are clean and precise, with a distinctly Nordic vibe that shows up in everything from the ceramics to the playlist. Their seasonal specials are worth exploring, but even their basic black coffee is brewed with care. There’s nothing rushed about the experience, and that’s what makes it memorable. It’s thoughtful, grounding, and quietly one of the best spots I’ve found.

Absolutely loved my visit to this coffee shop! I ordered a raspberry matcha and it was perfect, sweet, smooth, and so refreshing. The barista was incredibly kind and welcoming. He took his time with my order, made sure everything was just right, and even gave me a great recommendation (which I’m so glad I went with!). His sweet attitude really made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

THE BEACON in Jersey City NJ is a group of Art Deco Historic Bldgs gated community. With over 200 floor plans, multiple lounges & game rooms, 24 hr Gyms beautiful lawns and flower gardens, dog parks, covered parking, shuttle service to PATH trains. Sweeping views of NYC skyline Sunrises Statue of Liberty George Washington Bridge NY NJ BAY. Living in Beacon in JC is safe & a pleasant experience. They also hold fun resident events and games. Daaria our Resident services Manager is responsive prompt and diligent in taking care of any needs we have.

I stayed on property when visiting my daughter. Was able rent the guest suite which was convenient, fully equipped and very comfortable. Had everything we needed right down to washer and dryer in the unit. The coffee shop and little convenience store on property was great. Went to both several times. The overlook park was beautiful. I could have sat there all day enjoying the views of the City and watching the families enjoying the space. Having the shuttle was also such a convenience. Worked out perfectly for everywhere we wanted to go. Loved the community vibe. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go back and visit my daughter ❤️

The management office for the rental units may be the most incompetent or lazy group I’ve ever encountered. Their complete disregard for tenants’ property, time, and basic communication is appalling. Today, without any prior notice, they began power washing the parking garage. Tenants were not informed by email, text, or even a simple notice in the elevator or lobby. As a result, the workers began spraying water and high-pressure air around parked cars—kicking up dust, loose gravel, and debris. This created a serious risk of damage to paint, windshields, and tires. I called the management office to report what was happening and express how unacceptable it was. Their response? “We’ll look into it”—then they placed me on hold and never returned to the call. That’s not just poor customer service—it’s a clear pattern of neglect and avoidance. And sadly, this isn’t a one-off. This is how they operate across the board. Once you sign a lease, they disappear. Maintenance requests are delayed or ignored, emails go unanswered, and when you call, you're either dismissed or endlessly transferred. There is zero accountability, zero transparency, and absolutely no respect for tenants. If you’re considering moving in here, understand this: they will treat you like a liability, not a resident. Their inaction and careless decisions can directly lead to damage—physical and financial. Living here means being ignored, disrespected, and left to deal with problems they create and refuse to resolve. NOW, watch, they'll probably respond to this with a copy and paste saying they would appreciate the opportunity to discuss further but they would not appreciate it and will most likely just ignore the situation!

Did a tour with Anaiyah today and she was extremely patient, well informed and answered all my questions satisfactorily. The various buildings have a solid construction and they along with the campus are very clean and well kept. The amenities access restrictions based on which tower you get your apartment in, are a bit of a setback, but i look forward to finding an apartment here.

I have lived at the Beacon for about 4 years and had a pretty good experience. The shuttle is convenient and the gym is a nice amenity. There have been a few issues with fire alarms, elevators, and shutting the water off but the issues have been less frequent recently. The management team does a good job organizing community events and bringing neighbors around for fun activities and holiday festivities. I have had the pleasure of working with Dariia (who I first met when she was working at the coffee shop) and she is wonderful. She always has fun activities she is organizing and has been very helpful when I am renewing my lease. The staff is always friendly and I recommend this place to live if you can find the right price.

I wanted to share my experience as a visitor at The Beacon in Jersey City so that others can be aware of a situation that I believe was handled unfairly and unprofessionally. On June 3rd, I arrived at The Beacon in Jersey City for an overnight visit. I got to the property around 7:15 PM and stopped at the front security post. I informed them I was visiting and asked about parking options. I was told I could either pay to park or park on the property as long as I didn’t violate any posted signage. I specifically asked if the resident needed to register me, and the answer was no. I then parked in a small lot near the building I was staying at. I read the posted sign, which clearly stated: “Season Parking Only Daily from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Violators Will Be Towed.” There was no mention of overnight parking restrictions or towing outside of those posted hours. Since it was after 6:30 PM, and I planned to move my car before 9:30 AM, I felt confident my vehicle was parked legally. The next morning at 9:10 AM, I went to move my car — and it was gone. I returned to the security post and spoke with both the Director of Security and another guard. I explained the situation and what I had been told the night before. They told me my car had been towed because cones are put out at 9:00 AM, which was not mentioned anywhere in the signage. Later, when I recovered my car and reviewed the receipt, I found it had been towed at 8:37 AM — before 9:00 AM, before the leasing office opened at 10:00 AM, and clearly before the timeframe listed on the sign. I brought this to the attention of the Resident Services Director, who advised me to send an email so she could escalate it to corporate for reimbursement. I sent my first email on June 5th and received a denial on June 6th, claiming I did not follow posted signage — despite following both the letter of the signage and the guidance from security staff. I responded, requesting a further review and clarification, but received no reply. I followed up again on June 11th, and as of today, I’ve still received no response. I am now taking legal action, as I firmly believe this tow was unfair and mishandled. I parked responsibly, followed all visible rules, and relied on information provided by Beacon staff. I’m sharing this review to warn others: document everything, get written confirmation if possible, and don’t rely solely on verbal instructions from staff.

Lived here for 2 years. Giving it 3 stars because it’s a nice and secure community with good amenities like the two gyms, grills, park and coffee shop. Although don’t be fooled by the flyer they advertise-the pool and some other club aqua amenities are not for those staying with the beacon but only for those with the condominium association called Realto that is also located within the premises. Maintenance teams are pretty good, the management team can be ineffective at handling certain issues. I stayed at The Hague and by far had the corner facing apartment with spectacular skyline views. This building is the newest building in the portfolio. Your rents are not as high as the waterfront communities because of the location (not the greatest). I leave two stars out of here because as long as the community shuttle might seem promising as an amenity, a lot of times they have shuttle issues constantly and the lines in the morning to get the shuttle can be outrageous at times (pro tip: leave early for your office). The other reason it loses a star is simply because of the location - not much to do around here and can feel sketchy at times, no PATH station at a walkable distance and you always need to rely on the shuttle or take a cab once the shuttle is done with service times. As long as you’re within the community gates, you are very safe, that’s a given. Overall, satisfied with the 2 years I’ve lived here because I saved a lot on rent for a good quality apartment and good amenities but quickly tired out with the daily commute to and from work, the average location, and constant reliance on the shuttle to just get to a PATH station.

Very nice pastries. We liked pistachio eclair and banana cream pie. Filling was not overly sweet and made with good quality ingredients. Banana cream pie filling had chunks of bananas and pistachio eclairs was topped with pistachios. Pastry itself was not flaky. With coffee, they were enjoyable dessert! They have 2 counter space to eat or you can take it out.

Best breakfast sandwich of all time. Texture, flavor, depth. You get it all here for a price I’d say is on par with anything else in NYC. Honestly one of my top 5 bites ever. It’s that good! 10/10

Came here for the cinnamon roll which met my expectations, it was not served warm which i prefer for cinnamon rolls. However, the flavor was still really good, the frosting but was perfectly sweet and the dough was nice and soft but not too mushy. We also got two eclairs the earlygrey and chocolate. The early grey was highly disappointing it tasted stale and over cooked. The chocolate also tasted overcooked but the filling and chocolate frosting made up for it.

Cute little bakery. Good service. Reasonable prices. The Peaches and Cream Puff and Earl Grey Eclair were amazing.

Imagine a Scandinavian tapas restaurant in the heart of the East Village - that’s Smør. The plates are well portioned and 100% worth sharing with friends. The food was incredible and the drinks were refreshing and unique. My favorite entrees were the brisket sandwich and the fish and chips. (That curry sauce is INCREDIBLE!) I can’t wait to visit again

A cute, chic Scandinavian spot with that cool, young vibe you’d expect in the East Village. The pumpkin soup was delicious, and both main dishes we tried were nice though they ended up being very similar, which we only realized after sharing. Prices are on the expensive side for what feels like simple fare, but our server was friendly and impressively patient especially considering he was handling the whole place on his own. Overall, glad we tried it once but probably a one time visit for us.

Tiny place with some indoor and outdoor seating, incredible array of Swedish seafood focused comfort food, and lovely spritzes/drink menu (including 5-7pm happy hour all days of the week). Great for a casual dinner! Highly recommend the smoked trout buckwheat cold noodles entree, the leafy greens salad app - and the dessert crepe pancakes as a table shared dessert.

We got the schnitzel and the salmon. Great sides and sauces with solid proteins. Yogurt sauce was elite. Salmon was terrific but would get something else instead of the schnitzel. Well priced too. Friendly workers and nice drink selection. It’s a great spot.

The avocado toast is fresh and well-balanced, and the salmon one is a proper highlight – full of flavour, nothing overpowering. Coffee’s solid too. Staff are genuinely friendly. Feels like the kind of place locals return to.

interior is nice, ordered eggs & a salad eggs were nice but salad was drowning in dressing and very soggy. it was very unpleasant and i didn’t eat it. servers didn’t offer to not charge for salad or swap it for anything else. they didn’t ask if everything was ok with food etc. left disappointed. payed like $21 for scrambled eggs hahaha

I have no idea how this place is still open — stepping inside makes you want to pour a whole bottle of sanitizer over yourself. It feels like the place has never been cleaned, and their bathroom is a special kind of hell — the sink is completely clogged. The only decent thing on the menu is the pancakes; everything else is inedible. The only thing that somewhat redeems the whole experience is the waiter — he’s actually nice.

I found out about Cafe D'Avignon from to good to go. The pastries and bread are absolutely amazing. Their sourdough loaf is crusty, flaky, and chewy. Their almond pastry, very flaky, buttery, the almond filling is delicious and not too sweet. Because of too good to go, I actually come here to buy pastries and coffee. Everything is very good

Absolutely delicious! We both had the avocado toast – honestly, probably the best I’ve ever had. 😍 We also shared a pain au chocolat, which was amazing, and the vanilla latte is a must-try! I’d come back here anytime. The location right next to the Moxy Hotel is perfect – especially for hotel guests, since you get a $20 daily voucher per room. Definitely worth a visit!

The best almond croissant I've had in the U.S. Ever. The quality of pastry, quality of baking to a perfect texture and crunch and the amazing almond topping and filling are the best I've had here. The one thing I would improve: the chairs are metal, scraping on concrete without sliders. Deafening. The service is great. Highly recommend take out.

transparently i got this through a tgtg order so i knew i wasn't getting the freshest pastries but for the price this was definitely worth it! i got an almond croissant (not the best ive ever had but did the job), olive oil chocolate bread (couldn't finish because it was too rich for me), and a whole loaf of raisin/nut bread (yum!)

The donuts here are amazing! I think we got 5 in total today and they were so fresh. Everything was delicious!!! Def recommend coming here. The ube donut and apple fritter donut are a must. All the donuts were so light despite the fillings and weren’t overly sweet. Hoping to stop by soon again.

Had to try this place because of their flan, and they delivered. I'm not a fan of donuts, but I was surprised about the flakiness of the dough, also not too sweet nor greasy, paired with a good and firm flan.Definitely a must try. The lemon cookie was a last minute addition and tasted good. The Ube was also a nice surprise as it was the mango float (I wish they could make a plain custard one!). The only complaint is in the matcha cruller, too greasy for my taste. They open late and there are plenty of people in line even during the week. It's easier to get pastries later in the AM but past 11:30 AM they might be sold out. Kudos to one of the owner for trying to make sense of the line outside.

I had been meaning to try Kora for so long but kept missing the pop-ups. When I finally did go on a Sunday at 9am I anticipated the wait but the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful in coming out, explaining the wait, the process and giving us hope, answering questions on what they would likely have and what might sell out. I got inside about 10:15 and loved the space. The decor is very neutral toned and I recommend sitting if you can. Since there is currently a 6 pastry cap, I got the ube babka, coffee cruller, cinnamon cruller, spam pan suisse and leche flan donut. Every single one knocked my socks off. I have been to allot of bakeries, and several Michelin Star restaurants, but I can't think of any that compare to Kora's pastries in terms of variety of flavor, texture & dynamics of taste. The lofty, butter-rich steam air that is trapped inside each layer, the soft and supple textures of the bites was intoxicating. The spam pan suisse with pimento cheese had a touch of savory heat while the outer glaze added crispy, crunchy sweetness. The the braided babka touched with salt played well together with the sweet profile of the ube center. I am very partial to coffee/coffee cakes and the Coffee Cruller was my favorite. The outer layer and coffee is delicious but I could not believe how tender, cloud loft, buttery soft the inside was. Even if the pastries are sold out the cookies and coffee are sold throughout the day and the full glass storefront lets in plenty of light. It is going to be my go-to coffee shop. Also, I really appreciate the signs in front explaining the current situation with the facilities, projected waits on weekdays vs weekends, and the explanations of the multi-day processes it takes to prep elements that go into the pastries. PLEASE don't be upset if items are sold out as all new businesses have growing pains. Do your homework and plan for a 1.5-2 hour min window from the time you arrive to when you eat. You can taste the effort and artistry in each bite, so make time for the experience (just my input).

Ok, so I’m not the person that likes standing on a line for something, but I’m so happy I did. While waiting in line, someone kindly came and spoke to us and shared some Expectations such as respecting the neighbor businesses by leaving space open for the doors. Super sweet. Anyways, once the bakery opened their doors, they had us come in groups to keep order and give us a good experience. They have a huge window so you can see them preparing the goods. Everything looked amazing so I had to buy a few different ones to try. Faves are the flan one and the ube donut. Everything is tasty and beautiful. I also tried one of their signature drinks and even though I don’t like coffee, this one was amazing. All this to say, this place is beautiful, the staff is super nice and the goods are amazing. It’s a must and it’s worth the hype.

As a Queens native, I have been waiting to try Kora for years and finally got to try them out! I got there on a weekend around 9:30am and got inside by 10:30, which was expected. There was a worker who came out and greeted everyone, and also updated everyone on the timing/amount of pastries left which was very nice of them! Once I got in, I was greeted at the door and all of the workers were very hospitable! I truly appreciate their warm attitude during such busy shifts. I ordered 5 pastries since the limit is 5 and I got: the ube donut, the leche flan ni lola donut, ube babka swirl, passionfruit bun donut, and the ensaymada croissant. My #1 pick was definitely the leche flan ni lola donut!!! Absolute fire. The ube babka swirl was my 2nd favorite, do not sleep on it. The rest were also good, however, the ube donut was a little underwhelming in flavor and the passionfruit had a nice cream but the donut itself was very doughy in texture. I am a huge foodie and growing up in Queens, NYC, we are exposed to so many great bakeries including Filipino bakeries in Woodside. I love the flavors of Filipino pastries and desserts and I guess I was expecting a wow factor after waiting so long to try Kora. The leche flan donut, I would definitely order again. The rest, maybe not. But that is my preference and I would definitely come back to try the other pastries that I couldn’t try this time around!

Would travel and line up to wait for Filipino pastries and coffee anytime. If you’re willing to do the same for food, Kora will be worth it! Right before the store opens, one of the owners and the staff will go outside to greet the waiting guests and brief them on how things will go. This was a nice touch as I didn’t feel so lost. I did anticipate a line and a wait. All in all? It took about almost an hour to get inside. Not bad of a wait, but I had company too. So that was a good way to let time pass. Once inside, it felt warm and welcoming. We got in line and someone from the counter will assist you to choose your pastries. They place the pastries on a “bilao” or tray/basket. Note: A max of only 6 pastries per guest. Then you reach the cashier and you can order a drink. Pay (and tip 😄💕) and then wait for your order to be boxed and name to be called (if you ordered a drink). My friend and I stayed a while to chat and enjoy the pastries. It’s a good idea to go with someone so you can each order other pastries and have a pastry tasting party! Haha I might be too lazy to type in each pastry we tried and share my comments, buttt so summarize: you won’t go wrong choosing any of the pastries! The hot Ube Latte complemented the sweetness of all the food we ate. Each piece was honestly not too sweet either. I had leftovers and will try to toast the croissant to have a little crunchy melted cheese top. 😍 would go back again!

My coworker and I came here on a Sunday mor ing. Joalis provided us with an absolutely amazing experience. The matcha was GREAT! They made it by hand it reminded me of the one I had in Japan! The cheese danish was really really good. 100% recommended.

Folks know how to do a memorable tuna sandwich which was a mix between the good old American tuna version and a Mediterranean one reminding me of the world famous Tunisian sandwich. The tuna was flavorful, the celery fresh and crisp, the parsley came as a nice addition consistent with the European culinary traditions, the white beans gave it a wonderful starchy note nicely finished by the lemon taste. The bread softness transported me to paradise. Throughout the years I have tasted everything in the bakery and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite items remain the potato and rosemary pizza reminding me of the Roman staple found everywhere in the "Eternal City" and the chocolate cake which you shall become addicted to. The service is always genuine and in high spirits : the team is dancing but focused, dedicated and super fast. Always an immense pleasure to patronize Grandaisy bakery. I am forever their loyal customer, fan and supporter !

Had a wonderful experience with Grandaisy Bakery! I reached out from out of state to have a sympathy gift delivered, and they went above and beyond to help me create something special within my budget. Although we worked entirely over the phone, they were kind, patient, and attentive to every detail and even sent me a photo prior to delivery. The tray of sweets they put together was beautiful and thoughtfully arranged with ribbon and a pretty card attached, printed out with my sentiments. I’m grateful for their care, professionalism, and personal touch- truly a bakery that puts heart into everything they do. Highly recommend!

The caprese sandwich on ciabatta bread was actually one of the best I’ve had in the city. AND THEIR PRICES!! I don’t know many bakeries in nyc that sell ciabatta bread from 1-4 dollars depending on size, it’s my favorite bread in the city hands down.

I came here around 8:30am on Friday, and I didn’t need to wait in line. Although their specialty seemed to be bread, I only bought a mocha and a bag of chocolate biscotti - both were pretty nice. They offered 3 outdoor tables, but there wasn’t place to sit indoor, which was a bit pity. Would love to try their bread next time.

Never in my life have I left a bad review — until Billy’s Bakery. That’s how bad this was. I ordered a nearly $200 custom cake from Billy’s Bakery for my birthday. It was supposed to be the centerpiece of my celebration. Instead, it was an absolute embarrassment. Let’s start with the cake itself: The decoration was a disaster. The writing was so sloppy, uneven, and off-center that guests literally asked me if a child decorated it. The script was barely legible, the loops were exaggerated and awkward, and the placement looked like no one even tried to center it. This wasn’t "hand-crafted charm" — this was inexcusable carelessness. But what made it worse? The customer service. I reached out (politely, at first), explaining that the decoration looked NOTHING like what was promised or advertised. I attached a photo showing the cake in its untouched state, clearly documenting the issue. Their response? A robotic deflection, citing “company policy” and claiming that since the cake was picked up and signed for by a friend, no refund or compensation could be considered — unless I physically returned the uneaten cake the following morning (after my birthday was over). They then doubled down in later emails, saying the mess was simply due to “handwriting variation” and actually had the nerve to tell me they do not agree that it looked sloppy. Excuse me? You’re going to gaslight your customer over an obvious quality issue and then defend it by calling it a “personal style”? I wasn’t asking for a full remake, just basic accountability. But instead of taking responsibility for a visibly subpar product, they patronized me, minimized my concerns, and tried to spin a poorly executed job into an intentional aesthetic. They repeatedly emphasized that their decorators are “skilled professionals” — which only makes the final product even more unacceptable. If this is how Billy’s Bakery handles complaints — with condescension and zero flexibility — then I want nothing to do with them, and I highly encourage others to think twice. There are countless other bakeries in NYC that charge the same price (or less) and actually deliver on quality and service. I will never order from Billy’s again, and I’ll make sure others know not to either. Especially if you’re ordering for a special occasion — trust me, the risk is not worth it.

The chocolate chip cookies were good., the German chocolate cupcake was bitter, the regular chocolate cupcake was nasty, the banana pudding was good, and the cherry cheese cake was great. They also make a very good Chai latte

I ordered a cake for my church’s small group and people really liked it. The texture was great and this cake was able to feed 20 despite its size. I specified in the delivery instructions that a late delivery is better and they delivered first thing in the morning 🫠 Like not even in the afternoon? I found that strange and very inconvenient. Hopefully they can work on that.

Unfortunately this bakery just misses the mark in many ways. My funfetti cupcake was so denser but somehow still dry. No seating aside from a single bench (they have space for seating there are just no seats/tables there). Latte was weak and watery, and tasted bitter even with a little added sugar. And with only one person at the counter to take orders, prepare coffee and desserts, and process payments, the line was very long. I’m honestly not sure how this business is surviving in tribeca. They need to use their space more wisely, add some small tables, maybe a little charming music, change their coffee entirely, add a few more workers at the front, and work tweaking their recipe for a moister cake. My only positive thing was the buttercream icing was delicious!

Disappointed with their lack of ability to do lettering. I ordered this 8’’ cake and paid $80 plus tax for the lettering to be done this way (lettering was free and it shows). I was so embarrassed I started laughing. I had to manually remove the lettering and buy multiple candles last minute to make it look better for my sister’s birthday. The taste was okay but definitely do not ask for anything written on it. Unfortunately I can’t take it back, I wish I had ordered it from a different place.

I bought two cupcakes from here and they both tasted like stale bread with enough sugar to give me diabetes. I’m not one to throw away food but for $9, I couldn’t even pretend to find these decent. Also, there’s nowhere to sit or enjoy these cupcakes except one, sad bench.

It's amazing. Black sourdough bread tastes rich and I like it very much. If you haven't tried it yet, I think it's worth a try here. I also tasted the turkey clutch and liked the pickles inside. The taste is distinct. I will try other breads again next time I have the chance.

Great work yall. That’s a good gluten free muffin. The sour cherry ginger muffin… yum yum. The passion fruit ricotta donut is also fire. It weirdly tastes like lemon chicken (that Canadian-Chinese take out dish). But delish. Perfect texture. I went at 10am on a Sunday and they still had donut. Another time I went at noon and there were no donuts left. The line moves fast.

ELBOW!! DELISH! I will be back with friends so I can get MORE things. I tried the date walnut butter sandwich, garlic bail, and miso chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was a perfect balance between sweet and salty with the most satisfying textural difference between the bread and gooey inside with little crisp bits to chew on. They pretzels weren't ready because I got there quite early but they looked SO enticing, cant wait to visit again! The crew inside was so chill, really appreciate their work!

I never heard of Elbow bread before but when I attended the Madewell event, it had me at their chocolate babka! I have to visit their bakery in Ludlow. I was disappointed because there w only one left of their chocolate babka. I was told that I have to come in early hours as it sells fast. Any way I tried their rugelach and it was close enough. The staff are helpful. The place is small but there’s few seating area outside. Will try to come back earlier next time. A little pricey but for me it’s worth it. This review is mainly for the chocolate babka and rugelach. For the rest of the menu, I never tried them yet.

Very cute and lovely tiny chocolate croissant I felt a taste that felt like it had a lot of inner strength in it. The sweetness was very well preserved and only the chocolate had flavor. The blueberry cream cheese pastry was a delightful combination of blueberries and cream cheese. The richness of the blueberries made me feel the love of the baker who made this bread. The fluffy texture of the bread with green onions and the addition of poppy seeds gave it a light yet fragrant flavor that whetted my appetite. Each bread had a different texture and was rich in toppings, so it tasted high quality. T.M.I🤫 I came to New York and tried Babka bread for the first time, and it was interesting to see how each bakery had a different flavor. Elbow's Babka has a harmony of coffee and chocolate, and the coffee flavor is a little stronger, so I think it would be perfect to pair with coffee.☕️🥐

We stood in a line out in the rain and it was worth it. The concord plum sheep's cheese danish is to die for, also don't miss the chocolate chip cookie. Honorable mention goes to the chocolate babka. Unfortunately there's no seating inside, but this is one of the best bakeries in the city.

Had such an amazing experience recently at this bakery! A friend and I signed up for the pie making class and it completely exceeded our expectations. I had never made a pie crust before, but the class was so well organized, full of helpful techniques and tips that made it approachable and fun. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, creating a warm, inviting environment that made the whole experience even better. The pies we made tasted so good and we left with clear instructions so that we were able to replicate the recipe from home. The class was a fun and memorable way to spend time with a friend and we are already planning to return for another class to learn how to make baguettes. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn something new, eat something delicious, and enjoy great company.

$4 for a hot cross bun, $20 for half a dozen and $40 for a dozen. The size of their hot cross bun might be the largest among all five bakeries I’ve tried in NYC. The dough was apparently denser than others, loaded with big pieces of raisins and candied citrus. If you like denser bread you might like their buns. The honey glaze brushed on top is enjoyable. The golden brown surface is slightly crispy. I don’t know why but the white cross icing fainted on my bun though.

I’m not sure what the low reviews are on? This place is seriously a gem, from the cute handmade artwork done by the people who work here for their ads and flyers, to the quality of the baked goods and the people who work here everything IS FIVE STARS! The pistachio croissant is to die for. The chess pie is amazing, the seasonal stuff is always so good. Anything I’ve tried even if it’s flavors I normally don’t go for has been delicious. If I could have their goods shipped to me since I don’t live in NYC anymore I would.

It's an interesting bakery that offers baking classes. The sourdough bread seems intriguing and bread can be sliced on request.

What an adorable and cozy bakery Partybus Bakeshop is. We really enjoyed our time having breakfast on a weekend morning. The options of their pastries weren’t in a great variety but pretty decent. We got an Almond Chocolate Croissant and Sticky Bun with a cup of iced coffee. Both the croissant & bun tasted delicate and satisfying. However, it’s overall a little bit pricy in our opinions with their portion. We would recommend people who live in the neighborhood but it’s not worth a detour.

This is a true 💎 in the Lower East Side. The space is small but it has some tables to sit at. The decorations are bright and uplifting and the service is wonderful. The price of the Croissants is a little more than I've paid in other places but they are worth it. I took my Pistachio Rose Croissants to go. They were the most 😋 Croissants we ever had. I have to go back and try some of their other products.

great bakery with a great staff and exceptional range of super tasty gluten filled treats. i love the buns for burgers and other sandwiches. the almond croissant is crazy good and has chocolate in it. im pretty sure they're using nice whole wheat flours in most products so it's extra tasty

A wonderful pitstop in west village to get work done! The salmon bureka-like pastry was pillowy soft with a crispy flaky exterior. And the salmon and cream on the inside was warm and delicious. I left with a ring ding that was a specialty Chantilly cocktail edition. We enjoyed it later at night and it was delicious with a glass of wine. The cashier man was so sweet while I was there and was greeting all the locals that were coming in. A great vibe all around.

One of the finest bakeries in NYC. The Ring Ding Bar is super cool and the cookies are delicious. The Magic Cupcake is, well, magical. The ambiance and aroma is pure nostalgia. On the more expensive side so be careful how many Ring Dings you order!

Last night we stopped in at Duane Park Patisserie for dessert. We especially love the fruit pies, cup cakes, quiches, and ring dings, huge variety of tea cookies! We are enjoying the recent addition of tables inside, too. It is super cozy and it makes me feel like I am eating in someone's kitchen with the hum of baking in the bakeground. I personally appreciate that it is quieter than a typical coffee shop.

I had one of their speciality Ring Ding pastries and was blown away! It was white chocolate with coconut and grand mariner cream. I think they are a play on the old Hostess cakes we all know? The service here was also really great. Will definitely be back!

As a patisserie, Duane earns a Gold Medal. Hands down. Everything was fresh, elegant, and delicious. Classic art hanging from the walls and perfect mellow jazz that enhances the butter on my croissant. As to the service…. what service??

Delicious cakes! Came in last minute and picked up a 6” chocolate cake and they kindly offered to decorate it with some colorful confetti and wrote a personalized note on it. The cake was absolutely moist, rich in flavor, and turned out beautiful. Duane Park Patisserie has been my go-to spot for quick and convenient birthday cakes. They always come through.

It was such a pleasure to meet Chef Umbar once again. The pastries at Mah Ze Dahr Bakery are luscious and I have been a devoted fan for many years. I have several favorites and ate the famous brioche donut with the pastry cream filling and then the vanilla choux paired with a hot cappuccino made by Matt, the barista. I took home a savory scone that I had at dinner with cheese. Team MZD of Jubidell and Julian were friendly and kind. This is the first bakery one sees when coming up on the escalator and one should stop for sweet and savory deliciousness. I am happy that MZD is open as I cried when the other two locations closed. I have many pictures of the pastries I enjoyed over several years.

Located inside Brookfield Plaza on 2nd floor, this Bakery Gem serves up coffee and breakfast parties. I am part of blackbird and decided to go check it out. It’s truly sensational options and the Service is quick, at least in the morning. Atmosphere is perfect especially inside Brookfield. I got the turkey sausage and egg on brioche sandwich with their fruit iced tea. Definitely go check it out if you are in the area and want some quick delicious pastries and coffee. I will be back for sure. Thank me later 🥳

One of my favorite places to get my coffee in the mornings before work. The syrups are house made and delicious, i highly recommend the butter caramel one. So good and pretty affordable compared to other coffee shops in the area. The pastries are also delicious especially the brownies. But most of all the energy is so amazing, the staff are always super sweet and have great energy! Highly recommend.

I wanted to try the salted honey cold foam matcha but unfortunately it is seasonal. I got the matcha latte with oat milk - $9.50. So expensive for mid matcha

My partner brought me home one of their mocha croissants and chocolate chip cookies. We live uptown, Harlem, and let me tell you, that croissant made my toes curl. I had just several bites from the cookies and will give a full detail later, but this is some good stuff. Will be making a trip downtown ya'll.

This bakery will never get another penny from me. We had a valid gift certificate, but because I made a minor mistake on the expiration date, they flat-out refused to honor it. Their customer service is terrible—completely inflexible and lacking any sense of understanding or goodwill. Radha, in particular, was unpleasant and dismissive, offering no real customer service whatsoever. Extremely disappointing experience.

My husband surprised me with this coconut cake that I have been wanting to try. Omg this is the most delicious coconut cake I have ever had!. It's light and not too sweet. I have tried their brownies at events that Seth donates to and I will definitely be ordering more cakes from here.

I love bakeries, and stopped in to this one after dinner a few doors down. I had never been here before. It was almost closing time, but the people were very nice and patient and I looked at everything. I decided on the crumb cake. Wow! It was more than I could’ve imagined. The crumb is delicious, the cake is moist, and the cinnamon swirl was a surprise bonus. Absolutely loved it!

Bought a few brownies with peanuts from this shop & they were delicious! Nice small shop with great history. The owner and staff are very friendly & it’s close to the larchmont stop off metro north. They also have tasting parties which look like a lot of fun!

The desserts are heavenly. The whipped cream is extraordinarily fresh and light and children love the cookies. The sample of crown cake I tried has excellent soft texture and thickness and is as chocolatey as it gets. I suggest you take your time to chat with the friendly owner, Seth, as well as the generous staff including Susan. What a nice stop in the afternoon at this must-try bakery!

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this little bakery ! Finally a high end bakery in the area. Prior to this, I had to rely on Whole Foods but now I go there for all my entertaining needs. Everything is FRESH and made with the BEST quality ingredients. I love the little cookies for nibbling in the morning with my coffee, and their crumb coffee cakes are perfect for a lazy weekend morning delight. But most of all I love coming into the store and seeing what’s new for the day. Seth bakes fresh items every morning , I love that they don’t really have a menu... They bake for the current seasonal taste which I love. It creates a fun day to go in and see what’s new today ! Also, the staff is very sweet and always lets me try whatever is currently being baked :) such a treat

Seth created a gorgeous and delicious cake for a birthday party for 5 friends! He was extremely responsive to my initial email inquiry (on a day they were closed!) and created the perfect cake for our party. When I wasn’t sure exactly what we wanted he was extremely helpful in guiding me through what would work well. Was a great experience and will definitely be back!

This past weekend my baby shower was held here. I didn't pick the place my mom and best friend did but let me say I could not have picked a cuter location. It was perfection for my shower and I loved everything about it. Angela was so nice and helpful and the store is immaculate and so classy. The cake was amazing. I was only allowed one forkful due to not being allowed sugar during my pregnancy so she made sure to have a sugar free option for me. Then she saved part of the cake so I can have it after my pregnancy is over and I can't wait!! I would highly recommend this venue for a party or event but I also would recommend their baked goods. I am a picky person and this place exceeded my expectations!

Angela is an amazing artist and someone who knows how to deliver the best. We gave in our order on short notice and Angela without any problems delivered the cake with no problems. Not to mention how beautiful and elegant the cake looks, it was quite delicious. Had my daughter’s 9th bday party here. I picked the cake decorating party. It was a hit. My daughter and her friends had a great time. The place is so cute. The workers were so sweet and helpful. The cake was beautiful and tasted so good. Great idea. Milani loved her baking party. All her friends were so happy to take home their creations. Loved it.

This cake was a work of art. Our daughter and all our party guests loved it. The flavor was amazing! Everything was handled efficiently and the price point was perfect. Will definitely be returning!

The cake we ordered from Flowerbake was delicious and made to perfection. Everyone loved the cake at our birthday party. At the last minute, Angela took our special cake order unlike other cake bakeries. Angela exceeded our expectations. We will recommend Flowerbake to friends and family.

We hosted our daughter’s birthday here, over over the weekend. The concept is wonderful, but I was a bit disappointed with our experience. The two assistants, while really sweet and kind, weren’t very enthusiastic or engaged. They seemed a bit clueless on how to entertain 6/7 year olds. Communication was solely via email or text. I would have appreciated speaking to someone, as it makes the experience much more personal. Also, the actual birthday cake was so cold and the frosting/filling was so stiff that you couldn’t really taste the cake. Once we took it home and it softened, it was a bit better. The bakery is incredibly cute and the kids enjoyed the experience! Overall, I wouldn’t book another event here again. After hosting several birthday parties at venues for children throughout lower Westchester, it was our least favorite.

Flowerbake provided cupcakes, cake pops and cookies for a recent baby shower. The treats were beautiful and delicious! I can't recommend them highly enough!

This is a review of Bread Alone tent at Forest Hills Sunday Greenmarket. Poor service for such a pricey product. A family bodega will accept a credit card for their $1.5 coffee, as will small $.99 stores - those guys get very adamant about their $5 min - they’ll actually let you abandon cart over this. Well, less calories for me.

Always an issue here. Such a poorly run franchise with just the worst care and customer service. After ordering on the app they just straight up did not fill my order and the plain-faced plump woman at the register on November 23 was so unnecessarily rude about it. When I asked for refund she refused. Contacting the AG of New York to file a fraud claim as this is not the first time it has happened at this location.

This place is a joke. Four customers in line including myself, three employees working, but only one employee is actually doing work while the other two stand around doing nothing. After a 10-minute wait finally get to the counter just to order a dozen of assorted donuts. The lady tells me it's $15 which is $3 more than any other Dunkin' Donuts that I've been to recently. Then find out that you can't pay with a card there because the machines don't work. Spent another 5 minutes waiting to see if the machine was going to let me use my card, and it didn't. Left without making a purchase. Definitely will not be returning here ever and I certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This place is a complete joke. Side note. Whoever is in charge of cleaning that place should be replaced immediately.

Don’t go to this Dunkin’. It’s a mess. The servers have no clue how to organize themselves, properly make food and drinks, or help their customers. I put in a mobile order a while before I came in and it was seriously 30 minutes before anyone even made eye contact with me. They were out of milk, vanilla syrup, liquid sugar, and cream all before 11 am on a Sunday. One of their coffee pots was pouring coffee all over the ground because someone overfilled it and it took them 15 minutes to even notice. The servers were rude and short with the customers and, when met with impatience and aggression, reciprocated rather than trying to apologize or manage the situation. I was scared that a fight was going to break out. My food did not get made until I asked about it. They were only kind to one regular after the rush, every other customer was treated coldly. Save yourself the trouble, I’d sooner eat sand than order from them again.

Place is disgusting. Staff was goofing off with each other, very loud and inappropriate. Counter with the straws was gross, sticky, no straws or sugar packets. Manager was out back on break when asked who I could speak to about my coffee being incorrect.

Who hires these people? I ordered 4 coffees which were made wrong. I asked for them to be corrected and they argued that I don't know about coffee. They were racist and the other workers only laughed at her behavior towards us. Place is filthy and coffee was the nastiest I've ever had.

Worst DUNKIN ever, I had a mobile order so I walked inside expecting it to be at the mobile order area and of course it’s not, so I waited in line for atleast 5-10 minutes and when I asked them for my order it was just sitting on the counter… don’t yall have a mobile order section so people can walk in and get it and leave, not wait in line for 10 minutes just to see it’s sitting on the counter melting, horrible service !!!!

Ordered 5 items. Their system was static so I couldn't tell if my order was correct. Got up to the window and the employee asked me which order I had which I found odd since there was only 2 cars ahead of me when I placed my order. Told them i ordered a hot coffee and the reply was "we have plenty of hot coffee, what did you want in it". Glad I checked my order because I was missing a wake up wrap. Employees didnt seem to care and whole process from getting on the line to order until I got my order took about 20 minutes.

I go here every weekend after grocery shopping, and I’ve had many terrible experiences. Today, I waited 10-15 minutes. I ordered a bagel with bacon and cream cheese, and I confirmed with the lady that she got the bacon (they always forget it) yet, when I got the bagel and got home, there was no bacon. (You pay extra for bacon) I was upset. When I got to the window, they forgot whip cream on both frozen coffees, and they forgot a bagel mini I had ordered. 10 minutes later, I got the other bagel mini I ordered, and my whip cream. They’re incredibly rude here as well. A few weeks ago, I went and ordered a ICED cold brew COLD FOAM. The person asked me if I wanted it iced, and then asked me if the COLD FOAM has foam. Then proceeded to give it to me without foam. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I live less than half a mile from this Dunkin. I have worked fast food, several times in my life. This is hands down the most poorly operated Dunkin Donuts I have ever had the supreme displeasure to patronize. Whether it's ordering from the drive thru, or especially through the app, they never pass up an opportunity to make an error on an order. They never seem to have the items that they're advertising as available. They fail to make even the simplest orders correctly. There's no pre-check before it goes to the window. And if it's a mobile order pickup, they just hand it out and close the window. The weekends are especially the worst. I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but I'll just go to the one 2 miles away instead. I'd rather spend the gas to ensure my order is accurate and I don't have to deal with inept people who don't treat the food they make with the same respect they would their own.

First off menu in drive thru is broken good luck seeing or hearing them correctly. Also I don’t understand why every time I get a drink it’s either watery or taste like they put in 20 too many pumps. Use to be amazing idk what’s happening lately.

We want to Dunkin as well always do on our way to Albany.... At 5:30 on a Friday they had one employee working... Poor Jean was not only running drive thru but the counter as well as making all the orders!!!!!! Why in the hell would management leave just one person on a Friday?????? And no way is it fair to that one employee!!!! But way to go Jean !!! She never missed a beat and our order was spot on!!!!

Aww, got something in my spicy apple donut. Had to return and shown an employee. She apologized and gave me fresh one..I should have a gift card for free dozen of donuts. It was a busiest place.

This Dunkin is horrible. They can't get an order right to save their lives. They don't know the difference between a machiatto and a latte. They argue with customers when they are told that your drink is wrong. They are always out of things. They continuously shut machines down to clean them up to 2 hours before they close which is ridiculous. This should be done no sooner than 30 minutes before they close. The drive thru menu has no lighting so good luck reading it in the pitch black. My car inside light was barely enough to see parts of it. There is a woman there in her 50s brown ponytail who acts like you've come to her home unannounced to ask for a cup of coffee. She's extremely rude and has resting b*tch face at all times. It's not the customers fault that you hate your life or job. The store manager or lack there of is VERY apparent.The cooperation that owns this location needs to hire a good manager who will clean house and care about the customers experience.

on 3 separate occasions the same black woman has refused to sell me espresso shots, i am a bariatric person so i only buy my espresso shots to include protein, and each time she has refused to sell me what i order, every time i always buy the same thing at other dunkins or starbucks and she refuses to give me service!! i asked to speak to the manager and she said i am the manager, i asked at the other branch nearby and they told me that she is just an employee. her service stinks. if you don't want to be customer service you change jobs.

On Sunday at 1:10 in the afternoon the service was horrible. The young black female cashier seen people in line and chose to change out the trash which was only half full. Proceeded to ignore customers standing in line. One other customer and my husband both asked if we were going to be waited on. There were 4 more customers behind us. We all agreed that waiting on customers is more important than changing trash that was only half full. Without customers business suffers. This cashier had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. You need more efficient workers. We ended up leaving and going to Bageltime. Shame on her for treating customers badly.

Consistently dirty, especially the bathrooms and this is the 4th time in a row I have waited over 10 minutes to place my order because a customer was friends with employees and held up the entire line with a personal conversation. Laughing so much they could not speak and did not even acknowledge me or the several other customers growing visibly uncomfortable not to mention frustrated. I frequent the dunkin’ in red hook and have never had the issues i do at this establishment. Blatant lack of any semblance of professionalism and based on other reviews they clearly prioritize friends and they receive extra food, drinks and they have effort put into their order with a wink, implying sub-standard service as the norm.

Staff is always friendly at this location but they are constantly understaffed. Had to wait 20 min on a Saturday to order one donut for my daughter because one person was working register and making food/drinks. Whoever manages this location needs to schedule at least two on a Saturday morning.

So i dont usually have problem with fast food places but this DD takes the cake. I ordered twice from their mobile app, once they forgot an item and totally refused to give me my money back and on top of that they refused to give e some kind of compensation. 10$ is 10$ now a days. Nobody is just gonna let you have 10 bucks. Second time I went in I should've learned from first experience but decided to give them a try again. This time I ordered coffee and sandwiches through mobile app, well they only made my coffees but not my sandwiches that I PAID for and all I got was I can't help you manager ain't here. This place should just close all together, they hire the most unrespectful human beings they can find and half of the time this people don't even wanna work. I will stop coming here because they don't care for costumers and or the business. I never do any complaints but this place I just went to has horrible rude service. I just bought 3 coffees. (2 caramel lattes hot and 1 de cafe black.) The person taking the order did not hear me correctly and gave me decafe hot caramel latte and one regular caramel latte. I had buy another black decafe coffee seperate. They refused to give me receipt when asked to see if I was charged twice. I ask them to scan the points for me and it looked like he pretended too but he didn’t cause I checked my app and only have 1 .. So disappointed of Dunkin’ Donuts service today!! The manager was not helpful she refused to give me receipt they threw in thrash. I basically paid for for 4. Coffees and only asked for 3.

They're to focused on chatting it up with the Walmart employees getting their morning coffees to acknowledge there's other people waiting in line. Only wear 1 glove on 1 hand so they're still touching food products they're making. There was a tray of donuts just sitting on the front counter next to cash register. Anyone could have touched them or sneezed on them. Disgusting. Trays of donuts sitting on a cart not even being put on the shelves for people to see they're available. Barely any bagels to choose from. I almost stepped out of line and left because they were taking so long just chit chatting with their "regulars". Will not be getting anything from here again. I thought it'd be convenient because I was already at Walmart but it would have been quicker for me to drive 5 minutes down the road and go to the other Dunkin. I hadn't been to this Dunkin in over a year...now I remember why.
