I had stopped in for lunch on a whim. I'd ordered the satay wrap that came with salad and crisps and i also ordered a smoothie. The wrap was filling but not tasty and quite bland and the salad was extremely dissapointing. It was two slices of cucumber and one slice of tomato on a bed of warm limp lettuce (like from a bag from the supermarket). It was all also swimming in some kind of sticky dressing that tasted like it was from a supermaket too. The smoothie was also warm and lacked any distinguishable flavour other than coconut milk. £18 was extremely poor value for the whole thing, a meal deal on a bench would have been nicer. Ive marked down the atmosphere also as Id sat at the front at the window which was a mistake as i had several fruit flies or gnats from the plants landing on my plate and had a stream of people with suitcases and backpacks walking to and from the private section right behind me. A really unenjoyable experience. I've never left a review for a place before, let alone a negative review but the food and atmosphere were so poor and price so high that I feel obliged to. My only real positives were that the decor was cosy and I was seated and served quickly but overall I'd not come again or reccomend.

Them Japanese pancakes omg and the sausage for my dog amazing, gunna come earlier next time so me and the Mrs don’t have to fight about who gets the last portion of them pancakes!

Service good - friendly and quick, quiet inside. Pancakes were good, but didn’t taste fresh - almost as if they’d been reheated and were slightly soggy. The chicken with the waffle was brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed this - however the waffles were claggy. Overall, I don’t feel the price was justified for the quality.

It's my favourite cafe to go to in Truro. It's very quirky and brilliant service. We haven't been to Cornwall for a few years, so it was a real treat to order from the punk Thai menu. We had Pad Thai, chicken satay skewers, and the prawns toast. They were delicious. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome 🙏

Great first experience of Cornish Bakery! The selection of baked goods was so good we stood for ages trying to decide what to have! Great staff, and quick service - we will return soon to try more of the menu!

After a number of very nice visits to the Newquay branch I thought I'd be equally as happy in Truro. How wrong I was. The staff were miserable and clearly didn't want to be there or deal with the public. In Newquay your order is taken and then brought over to your table but in Truro everyone is trying to squeeze into a small area to collect their drinks while trying to balance a tray with the food on it. Thankfully the food was quite nice but we'll not be using this branch again as it didn't make up for all the other short comings.

It's a lovely café, with a good selection of baked goods and savoury snacks. It gets quite busy. The staff were friendly. The sausage roll was tasty. The toilet is at the back of the café, and it was clean. The café is in a central location. I would recommend this place.

Just had a full referb but you couldn't get a heat lamp for the top shelf of your "hit" cabinet? Just had a sausage roll and bacon turnover and both were so cold they could have come from Rowe's.

Love this place every year I go here to get pastys to take home I believe the manager is called angie and she is absolutely amazing only one I will go to on quay street love it here .

Food as usual was good but service could have been a little more pleasant.

Absolutely wonderful teahouse situated in the heart of Truro city Centre. A must visit for anyone who wants a traditional and honestly heartwarming dining experience. Hard to pick one highlight because everything was excellent across the board! The food was first and foremost presented in an absolutely beautiful manner and was delicious and reasonably priced. Then somehow managing to top even that was the service - the girl who served us (Ella) had a very charming and helpful manner about her and was hugely accommodating of our many dietary requirements! In addition to all of this the Chef then came out to confirm a few dietary questions and herself had a lovely manner also. Charlotte’s teahouse would receive my highest reccomendation all around and is a must visit place for anyone in the area.

After researching where to go to take my mum, for an overdue Mother’s Day afternoon tea, and this place was perfect, if we could give it more stars we would do, if you want an experience thats away from every other standard coffee house that is on every street corner, then this place is it, for £20.00 we received our beautiful sandwich, 2 scones, clotted cream, 3 cakes and an amazing pot of tea with extra hot water, so we had 5 top ups each. The staff are fantastic and my mum loved the fact it took her back to the days when her mum used to treat her as a child for tea and cake.

Dropped in to try and have lunch/tea. Waited over 10 minutes with staff flitting backwards and forwards without asking if we had a reservation or making any attempt to engage with us or the people stood in front of us in the queue to be seated! It does say ‘book a reservation to avoid disappointment’ on the sandwich board outside but I was just disappointed by the un-attentive staff. Left to try and get lunch elsewhere. Poor

Climb up 3 flights of stairs to the tea rooms. There was one man working, no greeting. We asked for a glass of water (for medication) which was slammed down on the table. The 3 of us all ordered food and drinks, they were served with no smile or niceties. Wouldn't return there. Actually, we had a friendlier service next day at the M&S self service cafe.

Delicious food in this quaint tea house. It is on the 2nd floor, but gives great views over the square and cathedral.

Myself and my daughter thought we would try something different (we would have been better off going to subway!) I paid £12 for a chicken sandwich, that was tasteless & a scone that was cheap and nasty which I refused to pay for. The older waiter was rude & un inviting. There was one lad (tall/dark hair) that was polite & friendly - i think the owners could learn a lot from him! £32 for 2 soft drinks , a jacket potato & a sandwich ...... Save your money , go elsewhere, I wish I had read the reviews 1st.

ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS !! Do not come here ! I visited this place with my mum for some lunch . We first walked into the cafe with high hopes , we were greeted by a lovely young lad and that is the only reason I am giving it one star because he was lovely and deserves a new job . Anyway we sat down and then got are order taken .. the old man that served us was disgustingly rude making us feel rushed to place an order. Soon after we received are food which was horrendous. My mum ordered a gluten free chicken sandwich and a gluten free scone , the sandwich had about one piece of chicken and hardly any sauce , and the scone was so awful we refused to pay ! I Myself ordered a jacket potato which was worse than school dinners . I will 100% never be returning as I could make something better at home . I do hope the young lad that was there finds another job as this place was negative , rude and dirty. The prices alap were unbelievable And I am shocked that there are 5 star reviews. 👎

A sunny spring day and a delicious stack of pancakes. Served by a friendly waitress who was happy to help. There’s not much more to say, very reasonably priced and I’d highly recommend. I would suggest booking as their seating is limited, however we managed to slip in without a booking and got lucky.

The place is beautiful! We ate the best pancakes we have ever had… the flavour combination is unbelievable (we had the yoghurt - granola and compote ones, and the apple and honeycomb ones- with bacon added on the side 😋). I had mine gluten free and you couldn’t taste the difference between them and normal ones 😱. The girls looking after us were super sweet and very helpful. Overall an amazing experience, we really enjoyed it… sadly I forgot to take pictures of the food when it came because it all looked so good we went straight in!!! But here are a few photos we took when we came in and when we left. We will be 100% back next time we are in Cornwall.

We stopped here on our visit to Truro for a quick lunch and we really liked it. They have a small cafe which serves mostly drinks and breakfast, and a take away and lunch shop on the opposite side of the street. We had lunch at the latter, and we enjoyed warm and tasty sandwich and sausage roll, as well as a salad. The man who served us was very welcoming. Very recommended for a lunch at Truro.

Came down from London for a Cornish weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier with this cafe. Absolutely delicious pastries - the apple pork sausage was a melt-in-the-mouth. So filling and perfectly priced. Coffee was great. If you want to sit down on a weekend recommend booking as there’s not too much seating.

Had a really lovely experience at Bread and Butter! The atmosphere was great, with nice outdoor seating that made it a perfect spot to relax. The staff were super friendly and provided quick, efficient service. I ordered the ham and cheese toastie and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crisp. Definitely a great little spot, I’ll be back for sure!

We used to love coming to Bread and Butter in the little cafe across the street. So we decided to check out the small cafe across the street. OMG sorry, but won't be coming again! £26.80 for 2 sandwiches and 2 very small cups of tea. On the menu board the prices are displayed...BUT in very small letters right at the bottom it states eat in prices will vary. Hmm not good enough, won't be back!

I travelled a long way, to this gem. Yes I'm going to post an over the top review. This coffee heaven in Truro has everything you could possibly want.. First the actual coffee. Brilliant! Smooth, silky and yet with the right taste that will leave you caffeine high. The vibe of this place, with its ambient techno music and it's Japanese prints on the wall, just adds to the experience. Basically, I didn't want to leave here.. Enjoy, if you make it down to Truro

Great coffee shop with plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The coffee is tasty too and I'd rather spend my money here than at one of the big chains. Plenty of seating and there's even a hatch to the outside world for quick takeaways. Will definitely be going there again - highly recommended.

Negotiate the stairs to a lovely cafe. The hot chocolate was heavenly and my wife said hers was the best cup of tea in Cornwall! The food was delicious so it's back to the diet next week. Don't miss a magic stop for a snack and a place to remember.

Really relaxed, comfy and inspiring atmosphere. The food choices were amazing and our meals were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The drinks were yummy too! When we asked for something not on the menu they went out of their way to accommodate. Perfect for veggies too. This is somewhere you need to go to if you’re in Truro.

Wow! Came here yesterday as it’s a fave of ours. Decided to try out the bakery downstairs, Simply Bakes by Fig. So pleased we did. Got a selection, a quiche, pie and sausage roll to share, all of which were homemade and baked in store. Everything was delicious, total perfection. Lovely milkshakes and coffee too.

This is our 'go-to' cafe when we visit Truro. Light and airy venue - we are more conscious of space and ventilation since Covid. This was therefore our first choice to bring our family visitors. Initially there was difficulty selecting from the menu as one of our party is pre-diabetiic needing a low / non carb diet. The manager approached us to help. After checking on kitchen supplies, he was able to offer a suitable 'bespoke' meal which suited our relative very well. This was great, so we could remain and we were all happy with our meals and drinks.

Love this bustling, well run, cafe in the heart of Truro. Great food and gluten free options plus friendly service... Kim and son Jordan work hard to make it successful.

I keep thinking M&S will be fine but always come out a bit disappointed. I went for couple of T-shirts this time. Not difficult, you'd think, but once again, not in my size - Large. Piles of T-shirts in different qualities but only 2 in size L across all styles and colours, except the cheap-n-cheerful ones.

To the lady serving at approx 9:40 this morning (08/07/2025), remember customers are allowed to come in and order drinks, at a cafe. I was stood waiting (no queue) for a couple of minutes, and when I decided to approach due to her not acknowledging me at all, she said ‘are you alright?’ as if I shouldn’t be there, which made me think should I even be there, is it open? I asked whether they were open and I was met with a cold ‘yes’. I was confused as she wasn’t prompting me for my order, I said ‘do I order here?’ and again, another cold ‘yes’ as if I had interrupted her or should not be there all together. All of that, and I couldn’t even get my drink due to no ice! That’s obviously not her fault, but I would say being polite and friendly is key in a customer facing job, and she lacks both qualities. Please do better, very rude.

Cafe was open when we got here but wish it wasn't. We both had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, they were both cold. I do like my food hot so this was a real let down. Cakes and drinks good, hot food poor.

Blimey - £5.50 for a sausage bap!! It was tiny too. Very expensive for what it was. This wasn't just a normal rip off, but an M&S rip off. The staff were nice though.

I knew there was a sale on but I felt that items of clothing were lying everywhere. The store seemed very untidy not the standard of other branches I have been too. The floor with the childrens wear was much tidier. The staff looked harassed and fed up.

OK - so I’ve read some of the negative reviews and wasn’t sure, but decided to try it out. I dined in. Service was good, friendly and efficient, not just in placing my order, but also clearing away once I had finished. There was quite a busy lunch period, with people coming for a takeaway, but despite that, my large steak pastie arrived promptly and hot. I am glad I didn’t add any sauces, as it would have drowned that taste. The pasty was of a good quality, with NONE of that gristle you sometimes get with other steak pasties. It was good, wholesome and tasty. The one thing that let them down was my cappuccino. It tasted watery. Not up to par with the usual coffee chains. I would go again to eat there.

Visited today for lunch. The staff were very helpful and it was lovely and quiet in the cafe. The food was delicious and I was very impressed with their eggs. Lovely rich orange yolks, locally sourced from a farm. Food was very reasonably priced. Will be visiting again!

I didn't have time to take a picture because we were starving! Pulled pork back with stuffing, a side of chips and a chocolate milkshake! Wish I took a photo, but I was stuffed and I can't remember the last time I'd enjoyed a meal so much. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff and fast service, couldn't be happier, thanks again!

Thought that I would try the best pastie in Truro. I sat in and had s large stake pastie. Unfortunately, there was only 1 lamb and mint pastie left. So while I sat in the gentleman cooked another one , so that I could take them home. Great and friendly service, they went the extra mile on this transaction. Thank you

Good place I travel from Sheffield to truro just to get the large steak pastie and it is about a 5 hour drive but boy it is worth it and the owner Ashley is very nice to deal with and I got a discount as well and definitely be back in October as well

Great pasties, sandwiches and rolls, if you fancy a morning coffee or at a full breakfast or just an egg and bacon bap you wouldn't get better. The guys that work there are very helpful and friendly. 😊

Steak and Stilton pasty for £4.05. It tasted ok, but the Stilton was rather overpowering. If you like blue cheese, this is the pasty for you, but if not, I recommend a Cornish pasty.

I eat at a lot of different Rowe's bakeries working on the road, the two pasties I ate from here were both cremated and very light on filling. Probably the worst meal I've ever had from a Rowe's chain. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the store was lovely and clean but the pasties were just terrible.

I have very little to look forward to in this life, but getting a butty in the morning from these guys is one of the best. I’m not joking when I say that a pasty from Rowe’s might actually have saved my marriage. The staff are lovely, efficient, friendly. 10/10

A poor family with two children under five was evicted by a store employee for eating inside, even though there was heavy rain and strong wind. Show some compassion.

Really, really poor on every level. I ordered a bacon bap. Was asked if I wanted butter and sauce and I said "no, just as it comes". I was then given a bag with just bacon in, no bun. I am not joking. When I said I wanted a bun, I was told "you said just as it comes". Apparently they often sell just bacon in a bag to people. I find it hard to believe. Strange that the Victoria Sq store is so hopeless but the one in Back Quay seems OK.

The Cornish Pasty contents was a bit low on meat and lacked flavour. Pastry was quite good though. Good quick service however, but they were not busy.

Food is always warm and tasty. Staff are always beyond helpful and kind. Big thanks to Harry, Jodie and Sophie for my warm drink ;)

A very good Pannier Market in the middle of Truro. Lots of stalls with shops around the outside. A good variety of goods on sale too. Nice one!

It was ok but wouldn't rush back. One of the vendors was quite rude to me and snatched my money out of my hand.

The first time we visited Truro. It was life city with many different shops and big market. The pannier market it was big and it has more different part as shops like bakery, butcher, toys and .... outside the pannier market it was Saturday and Wednesday local Market with many local shops which sells homemade and local products. It was great.🤗

Lovely Cornish market where you can get a wide variety of household and personal items. Friendly set of traders who will go out of their way to make someone feel welcome. A true reflection of the openness and great reception the people of Cornwall have to offer.

Absolutely beautiful chocolate cupcakes made especially for my Mums birthday! Could not be happier with how they were presented, how they tasted and with the service at Lawrances. 5* all around, plus the brownies were amazing too! Will definitely be back soon 😊 x

Me and my sister came here to try their smoothie bowls. They turned out to be surprisingly filling, which was nice! The smoothie was probably made with some frozen fruit, hence, it was quite icey, and we didn't mind that. They came in those "instagrammable" coconut bowls, which aren't the most pragmatic, but didn't bother us; they added a tropical aesthetic. We also had a black coffee and a chai latte, and while the former was terrible, the chai was very nice and smooth. The decor was nice, the interior, unfortunately though, was not the cleanest. Most tables and some chairs had crumbs on them. Too bad, because it would've been an easy fix! Overall, 4 out of 5.

Sadly as a coeliac I was unable to enjoy a brownie as the gluten free brownies were displayed immediately next to and under foods containing gluten. Therefore there was a high risk of cross contamination. Sadly this happens in too many places. Despite this the cocktails, staff and atmosphere are great. I just wish I could enjoy one of the gluten free brownies.

Although the bar on Old Bridge Street is very nice, I tend to visit the bakery on Little Castle Street as it is close to my work. The cakes are all delicious and the coffee always very good. The staff are always very happy to help, and have often personalised cakes and pastries for me and made the most beautiful cupcakes for an event. Summer and Iona are usually there and always make the experience great with their cheerful smiles and friendly chat, always helpful.

I usually get the smoothie bowls, which when done right, are fantastic. Unfortunately, they’ve become inconsistent over the last couple of months. From portion size, number of ingredients and flavour of the actual smoothie. It’s a £9 smoothie bowl and it’s a lottery whether or not the bowl is full to the brim, or barely covering the bottom. For the money, I’d expect a decent amount of smoothie each time otherwise you’re pretty much left with a bowl of dry stuff, which isn’t nice to eat. I’m disabled so tend to order on Deliveroo, this is another issue, as they have gone from being available on there every day, to sporadically. If I’m lucky they’re available once a week and as I struggle to walk and work from home, means that I can’t eat there. I’m not sure why they’ve stopped going live on there, but seems like they’re going to be losing out on a fair bit of business. Whatever changes have been made there have lowered the quality, which is a shame because Lawrence’s used to be on of the best places to eat in Truro.

Great timing as arrived at happy hour! 5pm last Thursday. Quirky! Beautiful cake selection. Lots of drinks/cocktails available. Very small premises set out on 3 floors. Old building, steep narrow staircases - staff bring drinks up to you....thank heavens! Highly recommend - I loved it!

I've recently been on a bakery pilgrimage to London and eaten delicious pastries at E5 Bakehouse, Toad and Chestnut. However none of them had anything as wonderful as the Plum and Almond Danish that I had in Native Grain this morning. The pastry was buttery and crispy with a hint of salt, the plum has the perfect sweet/sour balance and underneath the deep cream was a crunchy almond paste. I don't know how they did it. Hooray no almond essence. Pure heaven. The staff are really friendly and patient. Thank you.

It's clear that the lovely people at Native Grain care deeply about the things they make. Everything I've ever ordered (which is a considerable range, now!) has been delicious and exceptional quality. Easily the best bakery in Truro.

My first visit to this wonderful bakery and I'm sure it won't be the last. I only tried the house sourdough today and have to say the texture and flavour of the bread was fantastic although I particularly liked the crispy, yet slightly chewy, crust. Will look forward to trying their sweet treats!

I go on a hunt at minimum weekly to find the best pastries wherever I am (most recently all over London) and have had some bangers - but this place rivals all of them. Popped in on the way to the train station in Truro and was blown away by everything we had (3 different pastries and 2 loaves of bread)...dare to say some of the best I’ve ever had. Pain au chocolat in particular was incredible. Wish I lived closer, I’d be a regular! But might have to make a trip back to Truro just to return some day 😊

Excellent! House sourdough loaf the best I’ve eaten in Cornwall. Even better it’s made using flour grown and milled in Cornwall and within the UK. The cinnamon bun was deliciously sticky and the croissants were too good to leave behind! Good people making good food, it’s clear they care about what they do. I’ll be going back for more.

What an amazing gem of a bakery in Truro! This is the best sourdough I have ever had and the local ingredients make this an even better offering. The pain au chocolat, croissant and cinnamon buns were all absolutely delicious. It's all super fresh and served with a friendly smile and in a great location as you can park just down the road to pop in and out to grab what you need. Tim, Harsh and Cassio are absolutely lovely and are determined to offer you the very best, high quality products and service. The bread is an absolute staple for our house from now on. 5 🌟 all round.

Has now become a regular stop with my little boy and the dog due to their babychino and puppachino offerings! They also do excellent coffees with their matcha latte being a firm favourite. Welcoming staff and excellent spot for a drink in the park.

Pollen is a wee gem! Kimi and her team have done a fantastic job updating the cabin, it looks stunning! Victoria Gardens is a peaceful green space with plenty of room to sit in the sun and enjoy your takeaway. I’m gluten free and Pollen is brilliantly accommodating. Their brownies are incredible, and the smoothies are gorgeous. The team are always so friendly. Definitely worth a visit! 💛

Here, I had a delightful granola and yogurt bowl, and a delicious vegan matcha latte, as my breakfast. Pollen is a tiny, but charming cafe, and it is also vegan and environmentally friendly! The service was great too! I definitely recommend it.

Visited today Tuesday 24th September at lunch time, purchased a flaky steak pasty. I took a bite outside as i left and the pasty was cold. I would expect the pasty to be hot or at a minimum warm. Obviously cooked some time ago and not kept warm. However the pasty tasted nice just a shame they didn't take a little more effort to keep the pasties warm when they are not busy.

Delicious pasties and great value for money. We visited here as a group of 6, and after our week in Cornwall all agreed these where the best pasties we had all week. A good size, packed full of ingredients and simply delicious. The flaky pastry options where welcome too, and recommended. We had both traditional and cheese & onion.

Bought two flaky steaks after hearing good things about them....... They did not disappoint, cannot remember the last time me and the wife had something so close to mother's pasty. The young girl who served me was friendly and so polite. Will definitely make this my new home for pasties - keep it up guys 👍

A nice new welcomed addition to buy a proper Cornish pasty! The smell got us as we were walking through the pannier market back to the car. So we decided to stop and feed the family lunch. What a fresh, modern, clean new shop. Very well thought about lay out with seating to. We found the staff were welcoming, happy, helpful and friendly and very patient. It took us a while to decide as we were spoilt for choice! We purchased flaky steak pastys, sausage rolls, a chicken mayo salad pasta bowl and a filled baguette of course we couldn't resist the choice of deserts. Everything we had was really tasty and absolutely delicious.Thank you Cornish oven Truro we we will be back.

Excellent traditionally made pasties at great prices. I don't go anywhere else when I'm visiting Truro. Highly recommended.

I went into the Cornish oven with my friends on a Friday after college, we were greeted by a lovely lady named Sara she was so welcoming and kind and treaded us very respectfully. We will definitely be going back and we recommend you go aswell.

This was our third cake from Emily, Emily listened to our vision and exceeded our expectations, simply stunning work, we chose a traditional fruit cake and a lemon sponge and were absolutely thrilled with them. Thank you for helping create a masterpiece for us. We would highly recommend.

There's no way to describe Emily and her cakes other than utter perfection. Emily made our wedding cake in May and was so professional and friendly right from the start. We combined ideas and the resulting cake not only tasted INCREDIBLE but also looked so striking and we received so many compliments from guests. I can't thank Emily enough for everything she did, right from the start with cake samples in the post during lockdown, all the way through to being on hand for all my questions along the way. Just incredible ! We asked for a studio Ghibli cake for our wedding and the cake stole the attention on the day ! It was just jaw dropping ! It was not just beautiful but also very tasty, even though it broke our hearts when we came to cut it ! I 100% recommend Emily, she did a wonderful job and was so kind all the way through the process.

We asked for a 50:50 wedding cake with half traditional and the other half a Vegas theme! Honestly you can not make up just how good she is! Was an honour to have Emily create this for us! If you need a wedding cake Emily is your lady! We shopped around for months for the perfect cake maker and Emily is 100% the best and very responsible priced! Emily is incredibly talented and her cake was a spectacular work of art with a design unique and special to my husband and I. We met with Emily in her studio prior to our wedding and it was lovely to meet her and sample her delicious cakes and then look forward to her sending our sketches. Our wedding cake did not disappoint and all our guests said it was the best cake they had seen. Our wedding venue also complimented it. We enjoyed our cake for weeks after the wedding and it was the most delicious cake we've ever tasted! We still have the fruit cake layer to enjoy at Christmas. Friendly staff and great baked goods

Had a cornish pasty here it was okay / good, but not the best - The Cornish Oven Helston / Penzance and Gear Farm St Martin both do much better pasties.

Would not be seen dead in any Warrens had more than one bad experiences with sub standard food that was followed by even worse customer service and vowed to never go back! If their pasties were any good they wouldn't have so many left at the end of the day !

Love getting the pastries half price before they close. Closing at 4pm on Sunday and 15:50 the doors are already closed?! Staff was inside and they saw me but looked unbothered. Maybe if you adjust the closing times as you please then change the hours officially, it's disappointing and a wasted trip.

Unfortunately closed after many years as first Blewetts and then Warrens. Will not be missed as much as Blewetts was.

I just went on to get mine and anothers lunch and, not for the first time, we were given the wrong food. This is a problem that really needs to be sorted as not only were we given the incorrect item, we were charged, more, for the item we had originally requested.

1 chunk of steak in my £3:45 medium steak pasty. Considering there supposed to be the world's oldest pasty makers think they might get it right.

Cracking bakery in centre of village. Freshly made sandwiches whilst you wait. Hot pasties, sausage rolls etc. Really tasty and generous sized portions of quiche. Staff are really friendly and helpful. A definate go to place in the area and very popular locally. Parking on street or around corner in village car park.

We ordered a large quantity of steak and cheese pasties for a party and they were delivered hot to our venue. It was nice to have a bought pasty with good quality meat and very tasty also with the right level of seasoning. Along with that the service was excellent

Hands down the best pasty I had in Cornwall. Everything was perfect. The pastry and the beef and potatoes were cooked to perfection with plenty of seasoning in the right amounts. Pasties seem so simple to make, but are an art form to get right. This bakery does it right. Mic drop.

Is this the best pasty in Cornwall? It’s definitely the best I had. The quiche was also fabulous, the apple cake so light I don’t actually understand how it was made and the prices were great.

Normally all the food here is great but today, we had fresh cream doughnuts. We like to go here because it's hard to get fresh cream cakes nowadays but unfortunately the doughnuts were definitely not fresh. Such a shame.

The quality of my wife’s large birthday cake was first class. Everyone who tasted it commented on the flavour. The size was impressive for the price charged. The service was excellent and I could not recommend this bakery too highly. Many thanks .

Sooo rude...... It's 2.44, there's no notice saying they will close early. The door says they close at 6. No had written notice. No reason to close early. I asked. This is normal. They have booked our use of the only exit. We have to walk the long way around. They upset two people by stacking chairs around them. I think the store was designed badly. As you should always be able to get out with ease in an emergency. Also now to the passes by, they look closed.

ABSOLUTELY ENRAGED!!! the worker was actually so horrible and my mate got bitten by a seagull and lost her chicken bake and we asked for a cheeky free one because it was the end of the day and the worker was lovely but the MANAGER seriously so horrible and i request a huge apology and she was rude to us when we were buying too. i am fuming.

Polite service, reasonably priced coffee, lots of food choice, but sell out of items quickly.

Subject: Formal Complaint – Poor Customer Service at Greggs Truro Dear Greggs Customer Service, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my experience at your Truro branch this morning, which left me extremely disappointed and embarrassed. I visited the store for my usual breakfast and was warmly greeted by a pleasant trainee. I ordered a sausage and bacon bap with red sauce, as I do regularly. After waiting a few minutes, my order arrived, but it had brown sauce instead. I politely asked if it could be remade with the correct sauce, which the trainee kindly sorted out for me. However, just as I was about to leave, the manager turned to me and very aggressively said, “YOU WERE ASKED IF YOU WANTED BROWN SAUCE AND YOU SAID YES.” I was taken aback by the tone and hostility and felt incredibly embarrassed, especially in front of other customers. I quietly walked out to avoid further confrontation and asked another staff member why the manager had been so rude, but they had no response. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and unfortunately, it is not the first time I have encountered rudeness from this same manager. On another recent visit, I had placed a click-and-collect order and was repeatedly asked to “sign the order off.” When I expressed confusion, I was met with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude. Again, I left the store feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I am a regular customer of Greggs and have always appreciated the service—until now. I feel strongly that no customer should be spoken to in such a way, especially over something so minor. This experience ruined my morning and frankly, my entire day. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately. I would appreciate a response and some reassurance that steps will be taken to ensure better treatment of customers in the future. A lot cheaper and more choice than your usual local bakeries here. Great friendly staff. What's not to Like about Greggs? This place is a goldmine. Welcome to Cornwall....wheres your next location planned for? Hurry up and role them stores out...the world is changing so change with it or get left behind.

Came in early today and got a sausage roll and a hot drink before work started. Was served by one of the happiest workers I have seen anywhere, which was a lovely surprise and made me feel better about the day. Please send Louise my thanks for serving with a smile and a good laugh. However, came in after work to get the Too Good Too Go bag and was turned away by one of the managers. I Recommend the place as they sell cheep food, and usually their staff are friendly.

Never had a Greggs before. Thought I'd give it a go. Probably won't be back. Visited just after 9am on a Saturday morning. Not much choose out for savoury, price was higher then I expected and was not served or stored warm which left me even more disappointed. Maybe their pastry slices are all served ambient? Was I expecting too much for a warm creamy chicken slice?

Friendly staff, hot food available, regretfully Warren's Head Office have decreed that owing to increased costs, the Company cannot produce bread at a reasonable cost to the public. The shop in Threemilestone is reduced to pasties, hot sundries, pre packed sandwiches, and cakes.

Tourist prices. Dire. Abysmal service. 2 chicken pasties cost £7.10 they were all pastry no filling and dry. Miserable service also. Wont be returning.

The Food here is usually good, however i resent paying the high prices when some of the new staff seem to lack some of the basic customer service skills you would expect to be a high priority in a small village community such as this one, which 'should' go without saying, but there you go.
