I went here for Thanksgiving dinner a few days ago. Fabulous! It was 300 Yuan (about $42) for a multi-course dinner with "free-flow wine", as Jacky Angela advertised. Bread with butter, soup, salad, plenty of turkey, cranberries, stuffing and little potatoes. Add in pumpkin pie for dessert, and it was much better than what I expected. Carolina took care of us, and Marcus provided some familiar songs and didn't mind if we sang along!

Not overwhelming. And I normally HATE salad dressing! The soup I think was a potato bacon soup in a thin broth that might have been gouda. The main course offered plenty of turkey and trimmings.

Conrad Xiamen provides a distinctly upscale atmosphere, perfect for a few days of indulgent relaxation. The impressive seaview enhances the ambiance. However, this premium experience comes at a higher cost, as you are paying for the view and the hotel's overall luxury. The staff are friendly, and the beach is easily accessible by a short drive. For those prioritizing a beach or seaview stay and willing to pay, Conrad Xiamen is a strong contender. The main drawback, in my opinion, is the relatively high price per night, which, if adjusted lower, would likely make it an extremely popular choice.
Conrad is one of our favorite hotel brands, given we previously stayed in NY, London, and Tokyo, we definitely look forward to our stay over a long weekend..
Room: very spacious, around 660 sq ft, equipped with separate bathroom, washroom and shower, walk-in closet.. mini bar and nespresso coffee is free of charge
Breakfast:
- comes free with the room, good variety, with both Western and Chinese choices.. must try the Xiamen noodles which is a local specialty..
- unfortunately their 3 coffee machines don’t seem to function properly during our stay.. it’s either running out of milk or unable to make any coffee other than black / Americano

- housekeeping did a great job cleaning and tidying our rooms
- concierge gave good tips on how to take ferry to the island 鼓浪嶼
Although Conrad is not next to any subway stations, we could easily hail cabs and travel anywhere within Xiamen for less than ¥30!
We enjoyed our stay, and definitely find this hotel excellent value for money!

4-star for the room: generally clean and well maintained. Liked the comfy bed. However the security box, the toilet control and the coffee machine did not work in one room, what a coincidence. It means they do not check facilities often.
3-star service: breakfast was very good. High standards achieved. But the Chinese restaurant Lu Cheng Xuan was bad. Average $120 per person there, the taste was disappointing. Ingredient quality was good and fresh, but quantity and taste poor. Some dishes simply so tasteless that even kids do not like. Only three tables occupied in the whole restaurant, but they claimed several dishes not available. And what’s more, 2 out of the 3 tables made complains. This restaurant is definitely not worth their rating.
We check out at 5am. The only front desk guy was busy talking to a non-customer over the phone and ignored the real customer who needs attention! Very unprofessional.
Location is excellent but beware of extremely congested during public holidays of China , grabbing taxi or rental car could take over 30mins !
Great location, all the tourist spots are in walkable distances. We were 3 people and all of our bedroom were not clean properly. The hairdryer gave me an allergic reaction from the dust that’s not cleaned inside. Would not recommend if you have sensitive skin.

I travel often for work and have stayed at many hotels worldwide (and especially in China). This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! I went there with my wife, and she also agreed it was an amazing experience.
The check-in was smooth, efficient, and friendly. I was kindly upgraded to the Club floor as a Diamond member. Normally I would not have the staff carry my luggage to the room, but the guy in the lobby was being so funny and telling jokes, I could not say no.
The room was spacious with an amazing view of the ocean. The bathroom was modern and very clean. There was a lot of space to put our clothes away, and the robes were super comfortable.
The club lounge had a great view, with a wonderful selection of food. Their liquor selection was a bit limited, but that was okay.
The gym was nice. Not huge, but had most of the equipment I needed for my workout (Smith machine, dumbbells and bench, cable machines, etc.). The pool was also really nice, but it was too hot outside with a very strong sun...so we avoided it.
The location was decent. About 25 minutes from the airport. There is not a lot around the hotel as it is a convention center area, but there was a mall next door that had a lot of restaurants to choose from. It only took about 20-30 minutes by DiDi to get to the more popular areas of Xiamen on the other side of the island.
But by far the most amazing thing about the hotel was the staff. They were so amazingly kind and helpful. They helped us plan our trips and even found specific locations of places we needed to go. My wife wanted to visit a long-lost relative, but we only had a vague idea of the location. Gemma Chen in the lounge spent about 30 minutes online helping us identify the specific address that we could use for DiD. Thank you so much, Gemma...you were amazing! All the other staff were also so friendly and helpful. It really made a great experience become an amazing one.
