Came here for breakfast on Sunday and the place was already buzzing at 9:30. Love the vibe—lively but still comfortable. I got the golden latte and Turkish eggs, both were 👌. This was my second time here and it couldn’t have made a better choice.

We had a lovely brunch at Slake Terreaux! The menu offers a great variety of brunch options — everything we ordered was tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really tell that quality ingredients are a priority here. Portions are on the smaller side for the price, but the flavors definitely make up for it. It’s also worth noting that all menu items were available when we visited — a pleasant surprise since that’s not always the case at busy brunch spots. Finding the place was a bit tricky, as the advertised name isn’t clearly visible at the entrance or on the street, but once inside, the atmosphere and service made it well worth the effort.

This nice little restaurant was near the hotel where I was staying in Lyon so it became my go to place for having breakfast. It serves both sweet and savoury dishes: I had the granola and the pancakes, they were both very good. Prices are in line with those of other similar restaurants.

The turkish eggs are just perfect. I cannot understand just say that they should serve 2 eggs in the portions, to be fine with the price. Otherwise is tasty and vibe.

We did not want the hotel breakfast so we decided to walk out of the hotel and see a place where we can eat. Found this a block away - am so glad we found this. We had pancakes that was so fluffy! We had the sweet and savory one. Great way to start the day. We went back the next day and had muffins - with egg and bacon. Nice location, cute and cozy place and friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this place.

Le Desjeuneur in Lyon is a must whenever I’m in the city! Their pancake stack is so tasty and fluffy, I always look forward to it. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Food was so tasty and service once you’re seated was really good. We did the brunch menu for each person and it was the perfect amount of food to get our day started! We did have to wait an hour in an online queue that you sign up for once you get there so get there early! Definitely recommend

Best brunch in all of France. Easily the most gorgeous as well as the most delicious avocado toast ever. Pancakes were light and fluffy and just the right size, with a great selection of toppings. Very relaxing atmosphere, and great service. We absolutely loved our experience here!

Came here for a brunch on a Thursday, the staff is really friendly, the food came super fast and it was really delicious! The toast bread is delicious and soft, the granola really flavorful and the pancakes with dark chocolate super fluffy! Overall an amazing experience for a great price for the full brunch menu with hot and cold drink 25,90! Highly recommend if you pass by Lyon!

Firstly what I liked was the good selection of loose tea. Coffee was also good. I really enjoyed the decoration too but we came here on a late Sunday afternoon and it was packed with people and fairly noisy. As far as the cakes are concerned, it is American style pastry and I must confess it is not my cup of tea. The reason why is the overall extreme sweetness of the meringue and lemon curd was not tangy enough to balance it out. The location is extremely convenient though.

It is adorable place. We all love it. There is a variety of food, health as well, they have different vegetarian milks! Food was delicious. Highly recommended if you have kids! I really recommend this place, food was great and the service as well!! We asked for a brunch that costs 22 euros. The brunch includes a sweet pancake and a salty pancake 2 drinks (one cold, one hot) and a little play on the side like coleslaw, eggs or a granola bowl. The brunch is pretty complete with pretty tasty food!! I will say the pancake is a bit dry that’s the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars but over all a great experience !!☺️☺️

Amazing food and atmosphere that collide with a big time to enter. We were in Lyon for the weekend and wanted to go for a Brunch while in town. The suggestions pointed us to Yummy Pancakes, so we went there. With -3°C outside, the waiting line was big enough for us to wait almost two hours. While we were waiting, we could see the tables inside. As we were a group of 4, we expected a harder time to come in. When we were next in line to enter, we saw the table in front of us with two customers on a table for four, with at least another one available only for two customers. The staff denied us to enter because they only had a new table for two. At first, they didn't accept our suggestion of changing these two customers to the table for two and us to the one they just sat on with four seats. They wanted the people behind us to enter instead of us - but after some noise, they politely asked the other customers, who were kind to change tables for us all to get in. And after that, the experience was truly immense: the pistachio pancakes are one of a kind and the bacon and egg toast was very flavorish. Even though the wait and the miscommunications at first, the food is really good. Merci!

Best steak I’ve ever had so far. The meat was perfectly and evenly (ordered medium) cooked all the way and the seasoning was perfection. We couldn’t speak French apart from the basics but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The service was very quick and the food arrived within 15mins after ordering. One of the best steak house I’ve ever been to. I haven’t felt the same about steak since this place. We had different Wagyu cuts and each one of them was tasty, full of flavor. The service was amazing, very attentive. The appetizers were good as well, and the spicy cocktail was the best.

Absolutely insane meat!! We’re big meat eater and expert and picky! Everything was fabulousss! We ordered entrecôte well done which was still very tender and tasty and I had the bavette which is the onglet steak and NEVER TASTED SOOO GOOD! Super juicy and tasty, extremely tender and quite generous. French fries are homemade and the carrots are exquisite. A 5 STARS Steakhouse and real gem in Lyon. Amazing service and nice atmosphere.

I went here for dinner going for a meat-centric meal, and they definitely delivered that. They have a small but decent selection of cocktails, beers, and wine. There were about a dozen steaks available between the various origins and cuts, and I ended up ordering a special Holstein bone-in ribeye that was dry-aged for 50 days. It was cooked perfectly, well-marbled, and the age gave it an excellent intensity, easily one of the best steaks I've had. I almost forgot about my appetizer of thin-sliced serrano ham. I'd definitely recommend for a good and proper steak.

Fun place for chocolate fondue! We got the darkest chocolate fondue option, and it came with pineapple, banana, strawberries, brownies, cookies, some pound cake like dessert, and marshmallows! We also got cold chocolate drinks, which were like blended hot chocolate. Not super chocolately, but maybe that’s because we got one with 60-something % cacao. Next time I’ll try the hot chocolate option. Overall it was a fun experience

Nice staff, we had fun and they sure have some humor. Food was perfect, not too much and we got out full and feeling nice. My main topic would be the hot chocolate. It is the only place where they're respectful with cocoa. It was nice, smooth and finally they only added enough sugar so it was perfect. We had a nice dinner, but it could be way better, menu is weird there’s no many options, if you’re q vegetarian like me there’s no much options here for you so I don’t recommend, I ended up ordering tortillas with cheese it was big but 14,5€!!!! Expensive for what they offer, we saw other tables ordering tacos and it was very plain and small for the price, we were hungry so we wanted something big and tasty, nice service. Guacamole was really good but isn’t a big portion 9€ Is not a bad place, but it could be better, I don’t recommend this place

It is a small restaurant with a typical Mexican food. The food was fresh and has very original flavours Very friendly staff The only but is that when full it can be a very noisy place. Also parking there is impossible, so better to search for a parking nearby.

We ordered Big quesadillas veggies & Flautas de Pollo. Quesadillas were good with good amount of cheese. My Flautas de pollo missed some salt in the chicken inside. The latte here is absolutely amazing! For a good latte, the beans need to have a bit of acidity, and they nailed it. I’ve always loved coffee with bright acidity, so both the long black and the latte were fantastic. I spend about five months a year in Europe, and this is honestly the best coffee I’ve had in Europe so far. The step(or owner?)takes an oder is always so kind and welcoming with a lovely smile. I’m definitely coming back again tomorrow! ☕💛

Came across La Boite à Café while visiting Lyon for a weekend. I was in deperate need of some good coffee and luckily for me that is exactly what they gave me. I got the flat white with oat milk, which was very creamy, well foamed up and exactly how strong I like them. There were a bunch of locals in the shop chatting and working on their laptops. The ambiance was very cozy and welcoming. This is really the perfect place to feed your caffeïne addiction.

I enjoy their flat white and pairing it with a savoury scone - I especially like their cheddar-pepper one that has a spicy twist! There is a big terrace if you want to chat with a friend, but it is also possible to work indoors :) Note: there is a fidelity card!

Beautiful restaurant in good location with a nice large terrace. Just not welcome to foreigner who doesn't speak Frech. The waiter ignored while he did have eyes contact while I tried to order 2 times after my coffee. Bored of waiting long time, I called video call to my friend in Finland to show how beautiful the sun shining here in France (obviously we speaked in Finnish). We called, but no one answered on that day. They told us it's because they were insanely busy. But the welcome was nice, and we were promptly given our menus and served. The food was good, but I was a little bit disappointed by the Beef Rendang. The meat was tender and the portion generous, but it was slightly lacking in flavour. The Roti was good and my friend really enjoyed his Char Siu. Anyway, you should give it a try, maybe you would enjoy it more.

Definitely a new favorite place in Lyon of ours. The dishes are so colorful and tasty!! Cocktails super creative and also delicious. And oh my gosh, the desserts are heavenly! Amazing roti as well. Pretty good beef rendang although I didn’t like how dry the coconut rice was. Laksa didn’t really taste like laksa and was barely warm. Wasn’t a fan. Pleasant roti that’s a bit on a thicker side and surprisingly comes with dhal. They did make the dishes lightning fast though. Very cheap and great for a quick bite.

Great find in the city of Lyon, food was quite authentic and close to the taste of home in Singapore :) The char kway teow could be improved by cutting it in shorter strips for easier consumption (like how it's usually done). Owners were really friendly too. Overall great food, highly recommended!

I had a group dinner with 6 other people. It is basically for ambiance (amazing view alomg the river and style). The service is excellent, and you don't have to wait for even a second to call a waiter. But their food is not good. In general, the food quality is below average! I recommend this place for the view and ambiance, not for food.

Very good place to eat next to the Saône. The terrasse is very cosy and has a clar and beautiful view. The food was pretty correct especially the desserts. On weekends this is a buffet ONLY so no table service at all. The wonderbox vouchers are accepted and include the buffet and a cocktail. Price is ok (30€ for the buffet) regarding the size of the buffet and the location of this restaurant.

We came with friends for the first time and were very disappointed. Reviews are 100% fake. The place looks bad and the noise level make the stay uncomfortable. Long wait for the order, we waited 30min for drinks. First they brought sweet, and then salty toasts. Everything is cold. And most importantly, it doesn't taste good. Pancakes are dry, yogurt with fruit could not be eaten at all.

You can also enjoy the famous French crepes served hot with some delicious toppings. I certainly did enjoy the food here and the staff is also very friendly.

What else can you want?! haha... They really have a wide range of toppings you can choose from so everyone will be happy. You can go for a light version with fruits or crazy yummy "i don't care about calories" version (which I went for of course😁).

I was on holidays, i just stoped to get an douple espresso and I surprised of the quality and the taste. I don’t know but looked like as a singe origin cafe with intense flavor, creamy and very well prepared. Also the store is very cosy and the staff friendly. Well done!
