Night club
Bar
Klute is a well-known nightclub and student bar in Durham, popular among students for its large garden, smoking area, three bars, and VIP areas. Despite its questionable reputation as 'Europe's worst club,' it is a rite of passage for all Durham students. The club offers low prices and hosts different events throughout the week to cater to various tastes. Located on the historical Elvet Bridge, Klute provides a space where people can socialize without inhibitions.
so, me and my friend John were here a few nights ago. I ordered a hot dog without mustard and they put EXTRA mustard on it. Not to mention the bloke behind the bar, I think his name was John, was really friendly. not sure if he was chatting me up or chatting my mate up but not either of our types. Best massage of my life.
John K — Google review
only downside is location, the smell from Jimmy Allen's kinda drifts in every now and then. It's pretty yucky, but everything else is great about the place, cheap booze
Not L — Google review
i love this club! and i’ve never even been! yippee
Cecily F — Google review
What can I say Klute Nightclub is simply the pinnacle of life, I've been to Germany, to Prague, France nothing can remotely compare to the wonderfulness that is Klute.
Sam C — Google review
Worst club not just in the whole of Europe, but in the world. Bouncers are absolute trash. Wouldn’t let people back in for their stuff, laugh at people who are pleading them to let them back in, hound-dog people, obviously drunk, who leave through the wrong exit. Unreasonable and should be sacked immediately.
Longyin L — Google review
Bouncers at this club are violent and aggressive, my friend was kicked out for asking the bouncer why he barged past her, almost knocking her to the floor. He violently grabbed her arm and pulled her outside the club after she repeatedly stated she will leave and that he's making her feel uncomfortable. After pulling her out of the club, he proceeded to shout at her and began taking pictures of her on his phone. This happened early into the night, my friend was not drunk, not rude to the bouncer and was not in the wrong. Would never recommend this club to anyone, especially young girls as the bouncers evidently feel entitled to be aggressive and push physical boundaries.
Emma S — Google review
Klute is great if you want to be doused in a variety of alcoholic beverages and bodily fluids while cheesy 90s pop blares in the background and a fresher awkwardly grinds on you. It's not the worst nightclub in Europe but it certainly smells like it.
B H — Google review
Bouncers are overly aggressive and rude. They mocked me for crying to my face after physically assaulting my friend. Aside from this, they have terrible music, sounds like they haven't updated the playlist since the 70s. Also the interior feels dirty and outdated. Dont ever step foot in this establishment.

Pub
Located in the heart of Durham, The Half Moon Inn is a popular choice for locals and tourists alike. With its traditional feel and open fire, the pub is perfect for enjoying a cold one with friends. It has been featured in the Good Beer Guide for three decades, proving its dedication to providing great quality drinks at sensible prices.
I’ve been to a few pubs in Durham and non of them have blown my mind quite like the half moon, from the service to the spacious beer garden, even the friendly regulars you just can’t go wrong. No nicer pub to be found, especially that one fella behind the bar I think his name is Pete? Such a lovely and helpful guy making sure I was aware of all the deals that were on.
Macy T — Google review
Lovely place to watch the football. Gorgeous beer garden by the river. Great selection of beers on draught. Staff were very friendly. Overall a great experience can’t wait to go back
Jude S — Google review
What a super pub. Well deserves its place in the 2025 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Even has a CAMRA members discount. Alic, Boothroyd and myself are all on a first ever visit. I had a great pint of Bass. Lovely front and back rooms and then a rear beer terrace with top notch views. Lots of TV's inside and out.
MADDOGLEP — Google review
Really great old school pub. Good selection of drinks lots of indoor seating but where the place really comes to life is the outside seating area. Lovely views of the river and bridge at the back and more seating with patio style heaters nearer to the building. Staff very friendly and helpful. TVs showing sport all around the internal bar area. Will call again whilst I'm in the city.
Richard H — Google review
Friendly staff and always a welcoming atmosphere! Lovely beer garden and always showing live sports! Perfect place to have a couple drinks with friends or family

Great range of pints, always got the ideal football matches on. All round just a very good pub. Special mention to Myrtle who served us over the weekend. Very friendly and sorted all our drinks and snacks in no time.

Event venue
Fabio's Bar is a vibrant hotspot in Durham that seamlessly transitions from an Italian restaurant to a lively bar and nightclub as the sun sets. Located above La Spaghettata, this venue has become a beloved gathering place for both students and locals since 2005. With its intimate dance floor, classic cocktails, and craft beers, Fabio's offers an energetic atmosphere perfect for enjoying live music or dancing the night away.
Damn good night out, Jam, Alex, Seren and Adam are all mint. Give proper booze, they don't mess about and are a good laugh. Good booze, good times, it's simple.
Not L — Google review
Good for a small club, good bar prices if you manage to find your way to the front. Accept suggestions for songs. Best night out in Durham
Eoin N — Google review
Fabio’s unhinged night is only the second club to acknowledge the queer population of Durham (not so much so as to become a gay club) and yet, it is dominated by heterosexuals and, exists in a heteronormative paradigm, Queer people get fetishised, served on a platter for commercialisation and still FORCES those same people to queue for over 60mins despite having a PAID for ticket. Avoid at all costs - awful awful awful place.
Josh L — Google review
Nice bar, outside patio is good. Live music too and DJ in other room. Good night out.
Peter F — Google review
Why even by tickets if you have to queue over 2 hours to get in after arriving less than 15 minutes after opening? Whole bar is a scam, go literally anywhere else
Tilly S — Google review
Lots of stairs and kinda hidden. The bartender was so friendly and drinks were nice. It's a nice space to hang out in after dinner downstairs.
Jennifer S — Google review
Good portion sizes good service food was phenomenal thanks
Jake J — Google review
Ace little restaurant when we arrived there people are queuing at the top of the stairs, which I don’t normally do and would have left but a lad said this is nothing they normally queue down the stairs. We only waited five minutes and we were led in to what was a typical old school Italian with bistro chairs etc, all I can say is go we had mixed antipasto which was the largest ever then pasta mains with a bottle of wine and a beer under. £60 all of which was bang on.

Osbournes is a popular bar and nightclub situated in the heart of Durham city center, near Elvet Bridge. It's a favorite among students and locals due to its vibrant atmosphere, featuring DJs, live bands, and open mic nights with diverse music genres. The venue offers happy hour cocktails and free entry, making it an affordable option for a night out. Additionally, Osbournes hosts student events and live music gigs with incredibly cheap drinks.
Liv is the best bartender, her effiency and proficiency is out of this world.... honestly, I have never met a nicer, kinder bartender than Liv. She made me feel so welcome for the first time! if you go to Osbournes ask for Liv!
Chris N — Google review
What a terrible experience when we visited this pub. We were there celebrating my nieces birthday. 3 people in our company decided they wanted to leave early, but one of them decided she needed to come back in to use the toilet, she lost her balance and fell cutting her hand. I went out to help her to get her to the toilet but the doorman refused to let her in saying she was drunk bearing in mind she is a 73 year old lady, he could see she was clearly distressed but he had no empathy what so ever then to top it off he was actually pushed me as I tried to get in her in, if I hadn't of had my wits about me I would have been down the stairs, he clearly should not be in the job. We eventually got in and as we came out they realised how bad her hand was and got medical assistance , not that the doorman had anything to do with it he seemed to just disappear. I would say this happened about 8.30 sat 16th Sept. Avoid this place
Brian J — Google review
Due to numerous issues last night. I will be reporting the number of issues to the council from my findings. Over crowding and an emergency exit locked(blocked), also underage drinking and other.
Time O — Google review
i would rate it a 5 star however the lack of hollywood bowl stevenage photo booth + typhoon arcade machine really knocked a few stars off😔i feel as thought this amendment would truly add the most intense / orgasmic atmosphere. hoping my request is taken into account.
Ruby S — Google review
Absolutely terrible. Small, dank building, filthy and run down. Music was ridiculously loud to the point the bar staff couldn't hear us. The toilets were disgusting. Urine and toilet roll all over the floor, vomit all over. Some other customers inside where intrusive and over stepped boundaries. Door staff...? Drinks overpriced. It ruins durham. Will never go back.
Bob M — Google review
5/5 all around but it would be 6/5 if you got a hollywould bowl Stevenage typhoon machine and Photo Booth. Ly❤️❤️❤️❤️🦈🦈🥳🥳🥳
Summer W — Google review
I've rated this 3 stars because the prices for drinks are about average for Durham, it free to enter and atmosphere is awesome on a Saturday night with the live DJ and lots of different types of popular music from 80s, 90s and so on however seems to be change bar staff everytime you go (once every few months or so) and I kept asking for Smirnoff vodka And lemonade as this was on the display behind the staff but kept pulling cheaper foreign branded stuff from under the bar when pouring it out and the toilets are rather small (one small urinal trough and 1 cubicle toilet) and didn't look like it had been cleaned recently...
Christopher R — Google review
Liv is the most fantastic bartender, she really works to make sure that every person is accepted and feels safe in Osbournes! She makes my nights better and makes us so comfortable!

The Library in Durham is a unique and modern pub located near the street leading to Durham Cathedral. The pub is open from 9 am until midnight every day (until 1 am on Friday and Saturday) and features multiple screens showing sports channels. Guests can even book their own VIP area with zoned screens and volumes for private enjoyment.
Came here with my parents for a quick stop off and a bite to eat. We had the Big Breakfast which was excellent value for money. Overall a good homely pub vibe but what stood out most was the wonderful hospitality and service from the lady that was so very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. She even gave us snacks for our Dog! Keep up the great work Denise and thank you again for the warm and welcoming hospitality. We will return. ❤

A very relaxed atmosphere with a good, daytime mix of clientele. I popped in for a lunchtime special while doing the tourist thing and sat on the veranda at the back of the premises. Lovely views of the river from a height. Service was friendly and efficient and the burger I had was very good indeed. I'll definitely be back. Oh and it's dog friendly 😁 🐾

We had a great meal here on Tuesday this week. We sat outside and a lovely waitress came and cheerfully helped us put some tables together. She was really friendly and explained the menu option to us perfectly. She was very attentive, extremely knowledgeable and really made us feel welcome. We didn't wait long for the food either, which was fabulous. Great portions, nice and hot and really tasty. My husband was also really impressed with the selection of drinks on tap too. So an absolute winner all round. Highly recommend 👌 👍
Genna M — Google review
Amazing atmosphere, brilliant service. We had a party of 8 for brunch and our server Mathew was an absolute star. Constantly back and forth at the table checking in and taking drinks orders so regularly. So worth the money. We had an amazing time, highly recommend and if your lucky enough to get Mathew as your server you won't be disappointed 😁
Catherine H — Google review
Wondering by and craving pizza, I wondered in. With a shrug, I was directed to the menu at any table I wanted. Despite the advertised lunch specials and paper promotion (with no prices), they are completely absent from the virtual menu. Orders are on-line only. The only human you will see are those dropping g off your order as they run off to their next task. Good luck flagging anyone down if you need something. Am I meant to issue a virtual distress code? Meanwhile, the pint was fine and the pizza quite soggy.
James L — Google review
Denise behind the bar was incredible. Her customer service, especially with two young children and a dog, was top class. Nothing was too much. What an asset she is to your pub. Nice balcony and the food was superb value. Have already recommended to friends visiting soon.
Geraldine B — Google review
Had a bottomless brunch here and the standard of food and drink was great. The service provided was exceptional and way beyond any other please I have been to globally. Georgia was our host and she went above and beyond from the moment or arrive to the moment we left. A member of our party was particularly demanding and she managed this really well. I can’t thank her enough for this because it could have gone the opposite way. Extremely good customer service by Georgia

A place with a lovely view at the river and Elvet bridge with a nice terrace. Food was tasty - had a local Parmo chicken with a hotshot. I want to thank the waiters as they made the experience even more pleasant. Plus a pint of Guinness - what else does one need?

The food is not ok not impressed. The price is fine for what it is. The location is excellent, next to the river, the view is great. Sitting by the waterfront is so relaxing. The restaurant is upstairs, highly recommend sitting outside the balcony area if the weather is nice and sunny. The view is gorgeous.

Gorgeous ambiance of the river, lovely place to dine with family. Kid friendly Food was great, had good selection of British cuisine, everything well cooked and seasoned. Staff were friendly and kind. It was a shame they weren’t serving steak that day. Overall pleasant experience would def recommend.
Chrisse A — Google review
The venue was lovely, and the staff were polite. The steak was beautifully cooked and full of flavor. I recommend one of the sharing boards, whichever appeals to you. We had an early dinner, so the restaurant was very quiet as it had just opened, which was perfect for the children. There was a great selection of drinks, and the bartender who worked the day the King and Queen visited the Cathedral was exceptional.

The pub is well-known for its extensive selection of ales and draught beers and has been featured in the Good Beer Guide.
Absolutely lovely place, the decor was great as was the atmosphere although it does get quite busy and noisy, we were all served at the same time which was great the food was delicious. Ladies be prepared when you go to the toilets though as when you walk in it's like a hall of mirrors, there are also some comfy looking chairs in there so if you get stuck waiting at least you can sit down and freshen your makeup if you need to.

Jon A — Google review
Been here twice in the last few months for lunchtime. Food gets a 2 out of 5, cheap frozen food really. My chicken style goujon burger with mayo was overcooked, dry, had 4 4 cms squares of lettuce and a teaspoon of mayo. What is good are the offers, the ability to order from the table, the V Fast service and the coffee is very very good. Im quite dubious about the clientele here, sure there are the same people here all the time, im not surprised or amazed it is a Spoons and you get what you would expect. I wouldn't bring my family here though as wouldn't feel safe and that's daytime.

We visited this pub three times during our recent stay in Durham City and we enjoyed our experience on each occasion. The staff at the bar were friendly and helpful, particularly Dave, who even recognised us in Silver Street the day after one of our visits and stopped to speak to us. The service was always very quick and efficient. The only downside as far as my husband was concerned, was that there was no steak on the menu. There was a good choice of guest ales.
Catherine L — Google review
Nice outdoor area when the weather's good. It was a chilled Friday afternoon and was perfect for a catch-up with friends. Great table service from the bar, beer was good too...and of course cheap!

Great pub in an amazing building. I love how Weatherspoons use old style buildings, this one is huge with lots of different areas. Went about 3 times over 2 days. It was really busy each time I went but did manage to find a table. Good was great, had a bit of a wait for our drinks on our first visit so was half way through our food before the drinks arrived but was fine on our next visit. They could do with an extra area for as the coffee machines are together and a long way from the eating area. All in all, good food, good value, good atmosphere and clean.

It's also recommended as a great spot to unwind on the weekend with its unrivaled range of craft beers and ales.
Hired the upstairs of this venue for my daughter's 21st birthday. We put £1,000 behind the bar...and it lasted all night. In fact, we got £7 back! We were all very merry and the bar staff could have easily taken advantage in a situation like this...but they didn't and they were literally amazing. If you want to host an event here, I would highly recommend it. Chris is an absolute gentleman and ask for him if you need anything. Highly recommended and thank you guys.

Head of Steam is a hidden gem in Durham. Great beer selection by Camerons - Tooth and Claw but the Belgian beer selection is something special too. A nice atmosphere with food available, a great variety on the food menu. I look forward to going back. Cheers!

I know Head of Steam is a chain pub. However, the Durham pub is really good. The staff are kind and attentive, they have a surprisingly good selection of beers especially bottled gems in the fridge. Food selection is small but well chosen and always cooked well. Can be a bit noisy sometimes in the evenings - but some people like that :-)

Cool place. Expensive food, small portions. One of the best espresso martinis I ever had.

I recently visited this pub in Durham, and unfortunately, it was a poor experience. While the pub itself had a nice atmosphere and seemed quite popular given how busy it was, the food and service were disappointing. I ordered a cheeseburger and chips, but the quality was subpar, especially for the high price. Additionally, the soft drinks were completely flat, which was another letdown. To make matters worse, the ladies' toilets were out of toilet paper, which added to the overall frustration. For the amount of money spent, I expected much better. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it.

We had an amazing experience with the service and the helpful assistance we received with our laundry. The convenience of having a coffee shop within the friendly environment was also a great plus. WiFi available for work/study while doing your laundry

Amazing service, the lady advised us on how to use the machines and she gave us 2 new large ikea bags to help us transport our laundry home. Lovely service and great, efficient machines at a respectful price!

Love being able to get other things done while my laundry's going. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the wash and dry service is top-notch. A great experience all around!

Amazing place & amazing friendly down to earth genuine staff. Strangest thing in the world to walk into a launderette to do ones laundry and then to realise that the launderette is holding a wedding reception. Coffee, tea & alcohol drinks available whilst you spin dry. Well recommend 5*****

Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Durham, Wiff Waff is a delightful bar that offers more than just a catchy name. This cozy tavern boasts an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails, making it an ideal spot for both lively nights out with friends and intimate dates. Located beneath the historic market square, Wiff Waff spans two floors and features seven ping pong tables alongside two bars, ensuring there's plenty of space to enjoy some friendly competition or simply unwind with a drink.
Got so much going on, lots of activities to do or just great for a pint or games. Good atmosphere. We played beer pong and it got sorted and set up straight away, staff very helpful and we had a great time. Reasonably priced for what you get too. Definitely go again
Matty B — Google review
Had ‘ping-pong’ table booked but had to wait 45 mins. I asked for some discount and was offered 50% off round of drinks so we got the cocktails in. Must say Staff were lovely and very good. Just seemed crazy in there and not very organised. (Think they were short staffed). But it was an experience !
Mandy W — Google review
Booked a slot for my 5 friends at 5pm after an afternoon drinking. A little tipsy but nothing more than everyone else (girls) that were being let in, because my boyfriend was the first to come down the stairs they said he’s had too much to drink so none of us can come in. We stood and watched a group of girls walk in just a drunk if not worse than us but because 3/5 of us were male they wouldn’t let us in. Absolutely joke of a venue, definitely would NOT recommend
Evie C — Google review
The new tables make beer pong a lot more difficult than it previously was and it took so long to complete the game that most of us had sobered up by the time we had finished. It can be quite an expensive bar but it is fun so worth a look every now and then
Daniel C — Google review
Worst bar I have ever been in. Took 45 mins to be served 🤣 and if your stood at the other side of the bar people that arrive after you will get served before you. Confused? Exactly! One member of staff very passive aggressive and the young lad with blonde hair was lovely!! Only good thing was the photo booth.
Emma O — Google review
We're still here at 17:46 after booking a table for 17:00. Still no beer pong. Drinks are a bit poor as well. It's a bit warm too.
Tom B — Google review
An excellent way to start a night out. It's reasonably priced and booking is recommended. Don't be fooled.. Beer pong is harder than it looks!
Kirsty S — Google review
Really cool set up, I like the layout and the atmosphere. Only downside is the beer ping is a little pricey. £18 for 6 cups per team and litre of beer.

Nestled in the heart of Durham, Jimmy Allen's is a vibrant bar and nightclub that captures the essence of fun and camaraderie. With its lively atmosphere set in charming vaulted cellars beneath Elvet Bridge, this hotspot is perfect for students and locals alike. Known for its affordable drinks and free entry, it’s an ideal place to kick back with friends or enjoy some early evening refreshments in their inviting beer garden.
This is not a food eatery which Google incorrectly suggests it is This place is however is a legendary and popular bar and nightclub in Durham City which is frequented nightly by students from Durham University and offers a great music vibe with resident DJ and part owner Dave B and the drink prices are surprisingly cheap given it's location.

Staff were unbelievably rude. We ordered three woodgates at the bar, a pretty standard order for three people. The bartender proceeded to pour the drinks and in the process knocked over one of the poured shots and acknowledging this in the process. He continued to pour in the 3 blue VKs acting as if he had not just spilt the entire vodka out one of the drinks. Once finished and questioned as to why he wouldn’t re pour the shot into the woodgate he responded with “you can stand here and argue all night but nothing is going to change”. As a proud Durham university alumni who was a frequent attendee of a jimmys night, I am very upset that it has come to this. Nether the less I will be planning on returning but in the meantime I hope you take this review into account.

Reading the reviews, it’s obvious the bouncers are bullying thugs, who abuse their power to randomly use force on young people doing absolutely nothing wrong. My daughter was hurt last night by being dragged out for standing having a drink with her boyfriend and another couple! The other girl being dragged separately from the group terrified and in tears so they had to make efforts to find each other safely again. Also met a group of young lads outside kicked out, who’d had the exact same treatment for no apparent reason. Sort yourselves out and stop throwing your weight around on 5 ft, 8 stone girls. You’re supposed to be there to protect people not to put them in danger!!! Pathetic!!
Donna G — Google review
by far the worst door men I have ever spoken to in my entire life, snobby self cantered scum who have a clear agenda against any groups of white males entering the club disgraceful.
Daniel K — Google review
Honestly, I never had an issue even when they mistook me for someone else and kicked me out. But, when they tried to charge £1 more to my mum when they "changed the prices today" even though the menu on the TV said other wise it was beyond stupid. The attitude to the only people in the whole clube was appaling. That tall lass behind the bar needs to be humbled, "it's only a pound". If it's only a pound give us the price you advertised.
Reuben F — Google review
Went here on Sat 13/08/22 for friends hen night around 4pm . There was a door man called Billy who was absolutely fantastic and full of fun, nothing was a bother to him. There was also two barmaids who deserve recognition , they were lovely and very accommodating. Had a great time !
Lesley R — Google review
Unbelievably discriminatory and rude bouncers. 2 middle aged bouncers who obviously use their job as an excuse to belittle and to exercise power over students. I was allowed entry at roughly 1AM on 16 march 2023, however my friend who has a growth deficiency disorder was refused because 'he was too drunk'. He had barely had anything to drink. They refused to do any tests on him such as walking in a straight line or even just talking as he wasn't slurring his words, he was particularly upset over this, understandably. They then became extremely rude when I protested his innocence, and made wrong assumptions on my background. I would admonish Jimmy's management to employ bouncers who can actually string a sentence together without being unnecessarily rude and make sure that they can provide substance to their claims. I usually love this club, and find their bouncers understanding, but I feel very strongly about when people pick on my friends because they have a grain of authority. If you want to accuse people of being drunk, then give staff a breathalyser and see how many people make it into the club.
Borisr 1 — Google review
I had a horrible experience visiting Jimmy's last night having been fasley vilified for stealing. The bouncers took upon themselves to man handle me and felt it was appropriate to slap me across the face despite a miscommunication in their institution. Behaviour like this is incredibly common and it should not keep happening without repercussions. If you think bouncers like this have your best interests at heart think again. Too often they walk around with a chip on their shoulder ruining people's nights.

Restaurant
The Cellar Door is a contemporary British restaurant located in a historic building with original cast-iron stoves. Situated by the River Wear and Elvet Bridge, it offers stunning views from its riverside patio. The menu changes monthly to showcase seasonal produce, offering a diverse range of modern European dishes. Whether dining indoors in the ancient cellar conversions or outside on the terrace, guests can expect exceptional food and service.
Dinner @5:30pm outside of term time - we were basically the only diners. Had a vegan option for every course so we were both catered for. And both sets of food were devoured. All flavours as described and dishes were well executed. Service was also great - friendly and professional front of house. Couldn't fault our visit.

Really nice restaurant in the centre of Durham. The atmosphere is nice. A very buzzing restaurant with very friendly and professional staff. Alex the manager is very professional and gave mr the table that I asked for even though the place was packed. The pigeon starter was really good. Oysters were large and very fresh. I had the duck. It was well cooked and loved the apricot combination. The rest of the party had the beef wellington. Very soft meat. We were too full to eat desserts. There's always a next come.

Held our wedding reception at The Cellar Door after receiving recommendations on Facebook. My husband and I could have not made a better decision. The staff has been exceptional with the communication and help regarding the preparations as well as during the service. All of our guests were extremely impressed with the food including my dad (who is a professional chef with 20+ years in the industry). The food and experience is amazing value for money. Our wedding day could not have gone better, we did not expect to have such a lovely intimate wedding that we dreamed of, but yet it came true. Thank you so much to the wonderful team at The Cellar Door and the talented chefs for making our day so memorable! Extra details for reference, we booked "The Cave Room" for 12 people altogether. The pistachio ice cream is incredible, and beef shin is also highly recommended.

Stunning restaurant. Was here for our aniversary break in Durham, and cellar door did not disappoint. Food was exceptional, service excellent. Nice sitting out area overlooking river.
Stuart M — Google review
I had been to the Cellar Door once many years ago....so this was a renewed experience. Durham has many fine places to eat but not so many that are a little special and elevated of quality. I had wanted something of a standard to celebrate a significant birthday for my partner and the Cellar Door did not disappoint. The set lunch menu is excellent value but not without choice or variation. The à la carte is understanbly broader but not overly expensive for the quality on offer. The wine list is varied and interesting and not excessive by modern standards of price. The service albeit on a leisurely Monday, was engaging, friendly and attentive. A delight in every aspect and I will be sure to return much sooner than previously for my next visit. Many thanks and keep doing what you do so very well.

We had an amazing dining experience at Cellar Door! We were visiting Durham on a walkabout tour, and our guide Peter recommended this restaurant. Everything was fresh made, so it took a bit for us to get our food but it was worth waiting for! We highly recommend the poached egg, asparagus, and hollandaise starter; the steak; the supreme chicken (perfectly cooked!)and the chocolate fondant dessert with rhubarb (it was like a molten lava cake). We will be back anytime we are visiting in Durham! Be aware there are stairs to get down to the restaurant.

We went here as 2 couples and could not fault the place, staff so attentive, food amazing, atmosphere too! It is a bit more pricey than other places in Durham but if you want quality over quantity this is definitely the place to be… the a la carte menu is phenomenal they focus on having a few different dishes which are cooked to perfection definitely the tastiest meal I’ve ever had. I highly recommend that you book in advance as it was pretty busy but they have enough staff to cope with the demand. 10/10! ☺️

The Champagne Bar is a stylish and classy locale located on the East bank just off the river. It offers a full bar, small plates, afternoon tea, and an extensive champagne list. This permanent fixture exudes a nice pop-up bar atmosphere and is more of a cocktail and champagne bar than a beer hall. It's known for its all-you-can-eat buffet brunch with options like mimosas or bloody marys.
Been to the bottomless brunch today and as always absolutely first class service. All the staff are very attentive and friendly, especially Jan who is great at her job, she really makes you feel welcome and looks after you. Cocktails and food are first class…till the next time….Dawn and Gaz xx

A surprisingly decent place to come for a hot drink on an evening. Both the bouncers and bartenders were are very polite and friendly. The hot drinks are expensive but that is probably to be expected from a champagne bar - pity the tea wasn’t a better quality one though. Nice experience all in all, and it was nice to see other customers having a great experience too.

It offers reasonably priced drinks, a strong cocktail menu, and modern decor with a great atmosphere. The bar provides the option to book tables for watching sports and has recently added booths with private TVs. This makes it a popular spot for sports enthusiasts.

Student pub chain that you have in the whole of England (at least in the North). Standard drinks but that said not a bad place to watch some football (DJ music at background is the downside). Staff are super nice but I suppose it’s a Durham thing!

Nice pub this and it's cheaper than some in the area. It's got a nice warm atmosphere. Toilet is on the first floor. Great sports coverage, and great menu for hot food. Also outside seating if that's your thing. All in all a great pub. Staff friendly and polite. 10 out of 10 😁
Paul B — Google review
Sadly they use plastic cups which can break easily if there’s a slight crack in them when you’re getting a pint. I lost a whole pint after being given a plastic cup with a crack in it already and the staff couldn’t do anything after it cracked all the way down and my whole drink split. I’m not necessarily annoyed that they couldn’t do anything as they have rules about cup breakages, but it’s just something to watch out for and maybe a reason to get a drink from elsewhere instead.
Barry W — Google review
Visited this pub on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime and it was really nice. A few couples here and there enjoying food. We opted for a booth and ordered a sharing platter at the bar when we got drinks - £12.49 where you pick 5 small plate items. The menu was like a Wetherspoons and quite cheap. Food arrived within maybe ten minutes and were larger portions than we had thought. Nachos and hunters loaded fries were lush, chicken pieces were a bit dry and the wings were well overdone. However, still edible and you can’t complain at how much they cost. My hubby had a pint of beer and I had a Coke, lovely and cold and I got them from the friendly lass at the bar. Plenty of seats, clean toilets upstairs and overall good experience. We will be back for sure. If you’re looking for somewhere cheap with plenty of choice, you can’t go past this place.

Went for Sunday Lunch in early January - great experience overall! Bigger place than I expected (lovely upstairs area) and the atmosphere and decorations are very nice. What a beautiful place. My husband and I visited for the first time today for afternoon tea which was gifted to us. Very good service by pleasant staff. Lovely fresh food and beautifully decorated throughout. The building is very deceiving as it has so many different rooms over three floors. Wifey's afternoon out with the gals at The Curious Mr Fox was a girly catch up in this lovely little venue. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. As I was designated driver I ordered a chicken & chorizo flatbread with fries from the lunch menu and had a "zero fox given" cocktail. The Dun Cow Durham is a historic and charming country inn located in the heart of Durham City. The pub offers smart bedrooms and a restaurant serving classic British pub food. As you enter, the whitewashed walls, exposed stone, and crackling fireplace create a cozy atmosphere. The bustling bar area reflects the pub's long-standing presence in the community. Tucked away from the city center, this traditional English pub remains unchanged for decades, offering home-made bar snacks and local ales.
Lovely pub. Went twice. First time had some ex- Durham University students. They were not helpful, but came on a Sunday and it was all locals. The chat was brilliant. You can't describe the atmosphere, but it was great. Better on a day like that
Bob L — Google review
Unfortunately the cow was a big let down, when we got there the lounge was locked so we went to the taproom but couldn't open the door, this is because it's a slider not a puller. The beers were from Castle Eden Brewery and we're past their best, also we were the only two people in the pub. A bit of a cold lifeless place with a barmaid who doesn't want to talk.

There was a cheese board on the bar and we were welcome to tuck in even as new comers to the pub. Good selection of beers and we all said that we’d definitely call in again if visiting the area.

Got to be one of the best pubs in Durham with a very characterful front snug/bar with an open fire in colder months and a comfortable lounge in the rear. Lovely, friendly staff but the only food served on offer is bar snacks, however at teatime on Fridays the landlord puts on an excellent free buffet of cold meats, pies, pâtes, cheeses, bread and crackers. Well worth a visit!

The Angel is a unique pub in Durham known for its friendly service and interesting decor. It features a pool table, beer garden, and even offers the option to bring your own beer from another nearby pub owned by the same person. The atmosphere is described as grungy with great music and a modern jukebox. The staff, particularly Jo, receives high praise for their excellent service. This alt pub has a punk style and offers a nice view from its elevated location.
My wife and I had picked this place as our last watering hole on a weekend tour of the North east. As a pair of Rockers it made perfect sense to wander over to the only venue that we though fit our style. Love music, which was great and the band were very good, a decent selection of drinks without having rows and rows of bottles to scan through to find 1 you like and a very friendly atmosphere with the patrons all dressed up with hair in various styles and colours, lots of Black obviously, goths, punks and a few in between. The toilets, well the men's are what I'd call a traditional punk/metal club affair! And as for the ladies......it's nicer but there's a bit of a surprise 😅 It felt very safe too. Oh, it's up a pretty steep slope if you're coming from the riverside!

The Water House is a modern pub located in a Victorian building that used to be a water board facility. It's known for its family-friendly environment and convenient location near transportation hubs and the Millburngate Centre. Visitors praise the friendly staff, spacious seating, and traditional pub atmosphere. The establishment offers various amenities such as an open hearth, TVs, and classic pub food.
Absolutely amazing bar staff, great crack and full of legends... Mondays are great for domino's and queen of hearts, Tuesdays £2.50 pints ( on most) :), Wednesday night's are amazing for students, brilliant deals on shots and bottled beer, Thursday Quiz night, Friday start your weekend of right! Saturday brilliant DJ on playing all the greastest tunes...Great cocktails, amazing beers and ales and a grand selection of shots my favourite is a baby Guinness of course... Management team IS the dream team 🙌

This place Gets such a bad reputation, but honestly, we had such a good night. We will be coming back as regular guests. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great selecting drinks from cocktails to ipa and awesome pint of Guinness!

Well what to say really... Busy little bar with a great atmosphere and extraordinary staff. One individual stood out really though. Oliver what a guy to say the least, was by him self at a busy period and still served with a smile and went above and beyond. Also helped me with busses as I had been to the hospital with a gammy foot. He brought my drink out to the table and made sure I was comfortable which I thought was great customer service skills. Don't know what position with in the company this guy holds but a promotion seems well overdue if he isn't management already. Keep a hold of him rare to find bartenders like this these days. Coming from a Geordie so we're not the easiest crowd. Overall great place would highly recommend

Very convenient to the bus terminus. Friendly staff. Lots of spaces for a quiet sit or small social meeting or gathering. Usual great Wetherspoons features.
Peter T — Google review
When it first opened after Wetherspoons closed this pub was great. It's still a pleasant place to have a drink - I don't think they do food - but personnel and management changes have resulted in too much indifferent service and the continually changing closing times are a real pain. If the pub is supposed to be open till 11 or 12 p.m., then it should be open till the advertised closing time. Closing early is an absolute no no for me! 🤬🤬

Came here today very quite was served super quick! Good value like all spoons only gripe I had was the poppadoms was swimming in grease! Didn't touch them also the seats in the booth was so uncomfortable needs upgrading throughout highly recommended the newer weatherspoons in town

Old Toms Gin Bar is a favorite amongst Durham locals for its extensive selection of gin and cheese. They also have an amazing selection of meats, making it the perfect place to indulge in your cravings.
Been here quite a bit, my favourite bar in Durham by far! The drinks are reasonably priced, especially the cocktails. The staff who work there are always so friendly and accommodating - really lovely! The atmosphere is great and quirky - a really special bar with lots of character!

Love this place. Feels like a little hole in the wall. Eccentric and a one off, as bars go. Drinks are priced okay, for Durham (there is cheaper but this place isn’t extortionate.) The place has such a chilled vibe, I don’t know what to attribute it to but I feel I could hang out here all night listening to the BANGING playlist piped through the speakers, without a care in the world. A++
Stroke Q — Google review
Quirky little bar with great selection of gins and a couple of beers on tap. Ordered drinks at the bar and lovely guy brought them over to where we were sitting.

Absolutely fabulous gin bar hidden away in the centre of Durham! Lovely selection of gins and other alcohol too! The barman was AMAZING 👏 lots of care and attention in making the perfect gin and tonic! All served in the small but atmospheric bar... loved it!
Emma W — Google review
The 90s music invited us in and the quirky decor made us stay! The bartender was friendly and made us the best gin I had in a while. The music was the right volume and the playlist was superb. Perfect place to start your Saturday night!
Grigoris G — Google review
A wonderfully weird and whacky bar, decorated with obscurity, white elephants, artwork and taxidermy. It has a non-traditional bar, and instead it sports a bar kitchen suited to table service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They stock a wide array of gins and other spirits. Cocktails and Beers also available. However the menu was a disappointment as I don't think it truly reflects the brand and does not showcase the stock available as I wanted, instead you have to awkwardly stand by the bar kitchen looking at what else they house... Both bad for explorers and business. Don't let that put you off though, after a few drinks you soon forget and get swallowed up in the furniture. Outdoor smoking area with heaters plus, I think Cathedral and Castle views. ££ don't be put off by the prices its not weatherspoons. Great for dates and those looking to drink "alternative". Go take a look!

Pub
The Station House is a charming pub located near Durham Train Station, offering a warm welcome to both dog owners and beer enthusiasts. The interior boasts an industrial-chic decor with exposed brickwork and vintage railway memorabilia, creating a lively and relaxed atmosphere. This traditional wet led pub offers a selection of real ales that are regularly rotated, along with a variety of ciders.
Possibly the best real ale bar in Durham, we had a porter and a brown ale and they were both magnificent. The place itself is quite quirky but very friendly and welcoming, my kind of pub and a must visit 🍺👍
John B — Google review
Unmatched selection of beer. Don't expect to find any big names here, only craft and local. They rotate the selection every week. They regularly feature vegan hand pull casks. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere. Very unique feel
James J — Google review
Being "in the know" I totally understand why this quirky bar is a CAMRA 2025 Good Beer Guide pub. ( regular entry) Alic loves the way it sits under the Victorian railway viaduct. Reminds him of The Crown in Stockport. Boothroyd Bear notes that there is no " bar" to speak of. You get served via a hatch. My Dad used to tell me that this was common in the 1940's and 50's. I have only seen this a handfull of times. Four real ales and four ciders. Lovely pub with an upstairs spill over room. Alic loved his rocking chair. No more than 10 mins up hill to Durham railway station ( we are told) ..., even for old people and Flat Erics. I usually end up carrying them.
MADDOGLEP — Google review
Proper beer lovers spot. Excellent and interesting choice of well kept beer. My only regret that I was too full of food to have more :) close to the station and has a departure board. Perhaps I have a cunning plan…

This is a traditional wet led pub which I visited during a brief stay in Durham. 5 real ales for sale which I understand are changed regularly. Also a great range of ciders. Varied and comfortable seating. Excellent barman who really knows what he is doing. The locals were very friendly and they obviously love their local.

Bar
Nestled along the historic Elvet Bridge in Durham, the Tin of Sardines Gin Bar is a delightful speakeasy that offers an intimate and vintage-chic atmosphere. Once a hog-roast takeout spot and previously a juice bar, this charming venue has transformed into the smallest gin bar in Durham, boasting over 200 varieties of gin. The cozy interior features riverside windows where patrons can enjoy their drinks while watching the barman skillfully navigate shelves filled with bottles reaching for the ceiling.
Do not be distracted by the name. It may be indeed small but it hides a large selection of gin! The charming interior really takes you back to another era and it definitely looks better than the inside of a tin! Every gin lover needs to pay homage to this place!
Grigoris G — Google review
Smallest "pub" I've ever been in, Great Gin Bar though and the staff are great to talk with, especially about gin
Alan W — Google review
A Hidden Gem in Durham! I visited Tin of Sardines a couple of days ago, and I’m still thinking about what an absolutely beautiful and aesthetic place it is! From the charming interiors to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, it’s the kind of spot you instantly fall in love with. A special shoutout to Manan, who was my server — he truly made the experience memorable. He suggested the perfect drink (which I ended up loving!), took the time to chat with me, and made sure I felt comfortable and well looked after throughout my visit. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, and his warmth really stood out. If you're in Durham and looking for a place with character, great drinks, and even better vibes, don’t miss this one. Can’t wait to go back!
Shriyanshi P — Google review
After my first visit to Tin of Sardines, I was excited to come back after the lovely service, little did I know that tonight’s visit would be an entirely different kettle of fish. My partner and I order our drinks, I ordered a pint of Moretti, and after sitting down and having a sip of my beer, we both agreed there was something off about it (it tasted flat and there was just an off flavour). I go back in and politely ask if I would be able to swap it for a bottle, and it turns out the young, South Asian man, (we forgot to ask his name, apologies) was beyond rude, blunt, and couldn’t have been more disinterested in what I had to say. Despite the usual industry standard of having some compensation for my complaint, he said the only option is that I buy a bottle because “there hadn’t been any complaints until now”. I guess that just marks my complaint as completely defunct? x
Toby D — Google review
Such a shame. Paid £6.20 each for a pint to be greeted by a miserable, unhappy server. He wasn’t welcoming whatsoever. Very disappointed

With weekly student nights like CCTV, Wilder Wednesdays, and Ignition during term time, along with tribute acts and music events, Babylon is undoubtedly one of the hottest spots in Durham.
At last a great family venue in Durham for food and drinks. Great atmosphere and lovely food. I recommend the Kiev pizza and hanging kebabs.

The place itself seems excellent, unfortunately the doormen, namely a certain man seems extremely homophobic, to the degree I witnessed some being denied entry for this.

Usually a great time with great music, but no toilet paper in any of the men’s toiles, despite speaking to bouncers and bar staff both twice. Only one hand drier, and it was broken, hanging off of the wall. Even if you know only drunk people are going to see it, a bit disappointing. (Pictured: stalls 1-3 upstairs with no/ broken toilet dispensers + broken hand drier)

Durham Castle, originally built in 1072 after the Norman invasion, is now a college offering B&B accommodations. The castle is located next to Durham Castle and offers stunning views of the city and river. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as Beamish Museum and the National Railway Museum in Shildon for a more tranquil break or historical experience.
We took the tour to be able to access the castle grounds and interior - much cheaper than expected and the hour long tour was very interesting. We visited 7 areas of the castle and learned a little about the history behind each room. There was an exhibit on display during our visit which was at no extra cost.

Durham Castle is well worth a visit! The route you can take is fairly short at around an hour but the price reflects this and you get some excellent information throughout. We were self guided but there are tours available. The guides are knowledgeable and bring the history of the castle to life, making it a fascinating experience in a beautiful setting. A great way to spend an hour in Durham!
Matthew R — Google review
Absolutely well worth the £5 entry fee, but book in advance as they sell out and don't run every day. The blonde lady who checked us in and gave us our lanyards at Palace Green Library was perhaps the nicest lady I've ever met. She talked us through where to go, what to expect and other parts of the historic UNESCO World Heritage site to visit to make a day of it. Our tour guide (I wish I could remember her name; I want to say Dia..? She was a Literature student), was very professional and knowledgeable, and guided us through a fascinating 45-minute tour of the Norman chapel, Tunstall Chapel and Gallery, Black Stairs and the Great Hall. No, you can't go in the Keep as that's a student residence, but I feel like if the people complaining on reviews did even a minute's research before they went, they wouldn't be disappointed. You could take pictures all the way around and tour groups are kept relatively small, so you get time to ask questions of your guide. We learnt so much about the history of the historic building. Well worth a visit, but do some research first!

Durham Castle was a hidden gem ! You need to either book in advance on line or you can call in the information center between the castle and cathedral to book your tour! Tour guides take you around the rooms you can visit, remember that this is still part of Durham University. Really enjoyable visit!
Graeme D — Google review
Durham Castle is a very beautiful small castle. The key difference from typical historical landmarks is that it also serves as a university college—many students live here, and staff work on-site. This means that, on one hand, the tours are limited in time and access to the locations where visitors are allowed (really a few in comparison to overall premises). On the other hand, it is uncomfortable for students when a group of lingering tourists walk in their home, sometimes enters the dining hall (a large, beautiful space) at the beginning of dinner, walking around and taking photos. Since there are only a few tours each day, it is definitely advisable to book in advance online, especially during holiday seasons, school breaks, and weekends.

They messed with the sound during the interval at the comedy club. I couldn't understand a word of the last two acts while sat up in the balcony, which kind of ruined my birthday treat. The bar is reasonably priced and staff are nice.

Great to have this kind of facility in the North East. We visit regularly for comedy or theatre shows, and most recently for TEDX. Staff always friendly and efficient. Seats are comfy and you're not squashed in like sardines as you find in some auditorium. Parking is plentiful close-by too. My only negative is that they need a bigger bar area/capacity to deal with large numbers of people during intervals as there is always a queue.

Love this venue and the owner. She always has time for a chat no matter how busy or quiet it may be, usually it is busy! They host many different events at weekends or on an evening, pop in and see for yourself. The food is always amazing no matter what you order and with a selection of local produce and items from other local businesses on sale this is a gem just outside of Durham city.

Chloe is a knowledgeable , friendly and fabulous host to my aromatherapy workshops I run from here. She’s very knowledgeable re all she sells , plus food and coffees are amazing. I’d definitely recommend a visit 🌼🌸

I attended Chloe’s first Field and Fodder day retreat and it was phenomenal! The whole day was so well organised that transitions were seamless and the activities flowed beautifully. Every activity was different but amazing and was a pleasure to be a part of. The yoga with Tal was brilliant, the aromatherapy session was led by Ann who was so knowledgeable and Chloe’s sound bath was simply magical! I can’t wait to book onto the next one, I just know it’ll be a little oasis of calm in the manic Christmas build up! Well done Chloe, you should be so proud of the amazing day you created!

I contacted thes guys to put together a mother's Day box for my wife. My wife already buys an occasional box of goodies from here and I know how much she loves them every time. This place sells a lot of unique and tasty items, they do deliver also which is handy. (Not sure if they have a maximum mileage range for delivery though as an lot of items need to remain fresh. The lady who I spoke to via messenger was keen to help me choose what was right for my wife as she is familiar with what she likes, so the gift was a big hit. Would thoroughly recommend anyone to visit this little shop or order online.

Lovely place. Perfect for a spot of lunch and a glass of wine. Love all the foodie products for sale too, right up my street. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back to sample some of the cakes

What an amazing place to visit! Chloe is so welcoming and has so much knowledge of her products that celebrate local small businesses. There’s such a wide range of fresh produce, sauces, chocolate, books, gifts and toys. Oh and I never leave without a bag of fudge! Highly recommended for a visit.

Special mention from the DFR as the year comes to a close for my best parmo of 2024 award… and it goes go the Bay Horse By Watson. I enjoyed a no nonsense parmo here a few months ago and it truly blew my socks off. It’s how a parmo should be, no messing around a nice thick bit of chicken some lovely béchamel sauce and a good serving of cheese served on a pile of home cooked chips. 10/10. Added a photo of my starter for as well because that was banging. I can’t wait to come back thanks all. DFR x

Waited nearly 50 minutes for food, place was cold, wobbly table with beer mats lying everywhere trying to prop it up. Music played one song then went off for 5 minutes each time, but don't worry cos the kitchen had the rave on. Left without actually eating cos we got to 40 mins, asked if it was going to be much longer and she came to check what number table were - went back to kitchen and said 10 minutes cos they got so many walk ins they weren't prepared. There was 3 tables in. If someone had came over again to ask if we wanted drinks/explained the situation we would have waited. Just all round bad experience.

We had our tea at the bay horse on 26th july and enjoyed it very much . We didnt wait long for food and was hot and good portion size . I had fish and chips and my partner had 10 oz rump steak which was cooked spot on by the cook /chef . I also had the vanilla and chocolate cheesecake also lovely . Atmosphere and staff were friendly so will be back soon to try other meals on menu .

Excellent food - fresh, well prepared and in generous portions - served in a friendly and professional manner. The best hand cut and home cooked fat chips that I can remember, served with a brilliant burger and battered cod, while the steak and ale pie was a slab of satisfaction. All in a lovely spot set high over Durham.

Was here for bottomless brunch ,was 18 of us and this was their 1st time .All the staff were great and friendly and had lots of patience with 18 rowdy women ! The food was good .The cocktails were really nice and were not made up from cheap makes ,and had all fresh ingredients in (pineapple, mint etc) .The Pina Colada was gorgeous .At no point during the two hours were we without a drink . Would go back again had a really good time .Well done to the staff yous done a really good job .

32The Queens Head Hotel

The Queens Head in Lanchester, Durham is a traditional pub that offers simple yet comfortable rooms with complimentary breakfast. The check-in process at the bar was straightforward, and the friendly staff made the experience pleasant. While some guests found the rooms to be a bit worn and musty, they were clean and provided a good night's sleep. The pub is family-friendly and features a beer garden for guests to enjoy. Although the rooms are basic, they offer comfort and cleanliness at an affordable price point.
Lovely pub, the food was lovely and good value for money. We stayed the night in one of their guest rooms and it was good value for money ,room was clean and bathroom was newly fitted/redecorated so faultless. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend as a place to drink/eat and also as a place to stay.

AVOID!!! What a shame, having stayed previously we wanted to give return business to this pub. Arrived and welcomed given key to room. That was the only thing good about our experience. The bedroom we were in was a family room which had seen better days, the mattress on the double bed was broken. We requested a non smoking room but might as well have not bothered because the amount of smoke in the corridor that then came into the room was constant. Bathroom was OK but very tired. The kitchenette should be condemned. Two fridges to use but not cleaned, when we stayed their was old mouldy food in both and they were just generally dirty. Music from the bar was loud as they have changed into a sports bar which they do not list on online booking platforms. I don't expect glamour for the cost we paid but I do expect a response from the owner. Sadly they have IGNORED all my emails as well as all the calls from the booking site to discuss our stay. Such a shame

I'm currently staying for a evening as I have work in the local area. Warmly greeted and shown to my room. Room is splendid, towels and shampoos etc left and most importantly, to me, clean as a whistle! Just had some food, a southern fried halloumi burger and salt and pepper chips to be precise, I must say that it was one hundred percent the best pub burger I have had EVER (and I've been in a plethora of them!). Drinks are reasonably priced and taste excellent. Currently awaiting sticky toffee pudding. 💯 reccomend for anyone, whether it be a pint, a meal or a overnight stay! If I could give it ten stars I would.
Karl M — Google review
I booked here a room for two nights. For the very modest price the room was surprisingly nice and the bed excellent. The only drawback is the music from the bar whose basses can hammer until well after midnight and the walls are thin. But otherwise highly recommended, parking is included and a bus stop just around the corner.
Caspar D — Google review
Accommodation is nice and food is perfect. It is worth mentioning that a kind staff (or owner probably) of this pub send my heavy luggage by his own vehicle to my college for free. It just made that day special and bright.
Henry Q — Google review
Great food, good staff. Only drops a star due to atmosphere due to lack of customers. Will definitely be back.
