Enjoyable meals and excellent food. All worth it. Try something different. Price is good on the pockets too. The food is very good and good for family day out. The flavours are amazing. You have to try it and see for yourself. The price is also not bad. I would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant venue, not far from the A64 road from York. The venue itself has a large stage, awesome PA system with plenty of of big fat round bottom end. I attended the Boogaloo student night hosted by DJ Becky Webb. It was awesome. She kept the place rocking till 3 in the morning playing all sorts of classic tunes from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, creating a fabulous party atmosphere. Highly recommended and will attend again, very soon.

Attended the Rival Consoles gig here last week, and honestly surprised I haven't been here before. Venue was a good size, had an excellent quality sound system and staff were all friendly. Drinks prices seemed to be reasonable and downstairs area looked to be very busy and food smelled great!

Took my team here last night to celebrate a great year. The staff were incredible. The food was heavenly. The venue, exciting, fun and expertly managed. And the drinks were beautiful. We had such a good time. Thank you so much ❤️

Such a good bar, been coming here for years. Always have amazing artists on, a great platform for smaller-med performers. Sound system is one of the better ones in Leeds. Tad expensive but so are all bars! Thanks. Can choose between a loud environment or a nice quiet one to chill and have a chat. Terrace is lovely too.

Amazing vibe. Food was so good and atmosphere 10/10. Drinks were spectacular. I felt like I was in a science experiment 🧪. Gave 4 stars on the service because we got give chicken bao buns twice when we asked for plant based ones. Other than that definitely recommend!!

Me and my partner came here for a few drinks on our anniversary and had a phenomenal time! Many thanks to our server Connor he went above and beyond with providing us with the best and genuine customer service which made our experience so much greater. He answered our questions with confidence and such enthusiasm which made it a pleasure to speak to him!! The drinks were fab as well, he made sure to tell us what to do and what was and wasn’t edible in the drinks such as the French kiss. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant was spot on as well and beautiful views from the rooftop terrace.

Mine looked nothing like it did online, it was pretty disappointing,. . French Kiss was a lovely cocktail, although.. at no point did the bar man tell us that the tongue in it wasn’t edible!! Cue my partner swallowing it. Should probably notify guests of this. He’d had a few drinks previous to this and just presumed it was a sweet tongue covered in popping candy. We laughed when I asked and was told it wasn’t. His own fault. But a little dangerous nonetheless.

Headrow House is a nice venue for Novel Notions, a community book swap, held quarterly at Headrow House. It's a simple and appealing concept: drop off some of your own books that are surplus to requirements, and get a token per book; then come back a bit later and exchange your tokens for a selection of the wide range of books (fiction and non-fiction) also dropped off by Leeds' bookish community. Search through forgotten classics, nab a new release or find a new favourite you never knew you just had to read! Novel Nations happens every few months, always on a Sunday; check out Novel Notions on social media, or the Headrow House website events page.

Great place for a summer rooftop beer in a nice day. Lively and mixed crowd all having fun and relaxing. I had not been this year yet but glad we climbed all the stairs. Good beer too 🍻

Absolutely sensational! Super drinks, atmosphere is amazing and the staff are fab, very polite and accommodating even on a Saturday night 11pm rush. The bouncers are absolutely top class, I have so much love and respect for Clint and sinead, they made sure to save my twin brothers life by making sure he had fresh water and waited with him till his dad arrived I couldn’t ask for better bouncers than these two. Seriously they are one of a kind top notch people who deserve more than life could give.

Great place although it takes about 15-20mins to get your drink

Downstairs bar was shut when we came so cannot score that. Roof top bar was ok mid afternoon, mid week. Beer selection limited but what do you expect for a roof bar. We like it here even on an overcast day.

This is a little known venue above the amusement shop and opposite the Donna kebab shop, at the start of Call Lane (Leeds Market end). The entrance is via a door front and immediate stairs. There are different featured rooms and capacities. We were in the Highland room which holds around 50 - 100 people depending on sitting or standing. There's a PA system with a tablet you can sign into (Spotify or bring your own iPad or DJ). There's no disco light but a £30 disco light works well to create a small dance floor area. Table tops were available for food (we purchased or own from Costco). There's security on the door but did find a couple of strangers walking in, but they were were lost! (bring a bigger sign with you?) or they were trying for a free sandwich - either way, once challenged, they left without any issues or fuss!!! Staff were plenty-full and we (80 at its peak time) seldom queued for more than 5 mins. All staff and security were friendly and helpful both on the lead up to the day and on the night. There is no lift, but there is a great loading area or drop-off point outside. Taxis frequently pass. Our group easily exceeded the minimum spend. The drinks were average city centre prices, beers were available in bottles only (No draft - in the Highland room. Not sure about the others?) Give them a call to find out more, very accommodating :) give me a thumbs up if this info is useful or you like my pics and videos!

Shocking for such an expensive city centre bar, don't believe the hype, dirty place, if they can't clean the room and the toilet, what are the kitchens like? Hairs and stains all over walls, obviously the fan has never been cleaned... Minging. We won't be back

Booked the Maven's Green Room for my 30th and had an absolutely fantastic time. The team were great. Dan, the bartender, was always willing to make us whatever cocktail we wanted and had a great energy. Danager was also a great team member, ready to help! It was a great experience and I would do it again. Highly recommend booking the space for a party.

Absolutely love this bar. After walking from the train station and witnessing a mass of stag and hen parties it was incredible to arrive here and be blessed with civilisation. Always somewhere to sit, it has a romantic vibe, dimmed lights etc and the cocktails are absolutely incredible. The best you will find in Leeds.

The moment I stepped into Sky Lounge, I fell in love with the vibe of the place. Lovely atmosphere! Being on the 13th floor, it has got great views of the Leeds city. There’s plenty of outdoor seating on the terrace along with ample indoor seats. The soft music playing in the background blended perfectly with the cheers and laughter of the guests. Speaking of the tea itself, we opted for cappuccino and were served a great assortment of finger sandwiches(which was very fresh), lovely scones and a beautifully curated selection of desserts. Had an awesome experience. Highly recommended!

Had afternoon tea at Sky Lounge on July 17, 2025. The food and cocktail were okay, and the view was decent. Service was super friendly and attentive, but overall it wasn’t the best afternoon tea I’ve had. I enjoyed it, but not enough to come back or recommend it. I’d probably try somewhere else next time.

Sunday afternoon tea at Sky Lounge was a lovely experience with my OH, which we'd booked through buyagift. Booking was easy by phone and we were sent a text reminder the day before to confirm our booking. Had a beautiful window seat and service was friendly and efficient. Our finger sandwiches were excellent and probably the highlight of the afternoon tea. The Mango and passionfruit torte & the White chocolate raspberry delice were sublime. However the Mini chocolate fudge cake and Clementine tartlet were slightly stale and tasted like something from a poor supermarket bakery. The scones also didn't seem fresh and were heavy and brick like, rather than light and fluffy. They were saved by the Bonne Maman strawberry jam and the clotted cream. Great views and a chilled vibe. Would definitely consider coming back. Although as the sweet offerings were a bit of a mixed bag, we both agreed that a savoury only afternoon tea might work better, with a greater selection of delicious sandwiches or other additional savoury items instead.

Been twice for bottomless brunch and both times has been good Service has varied, the first time I went the service couldn’t be better however the second time the service was much slower. Like most places it depends on the server and the day I had the chicken and waffles dish both times (larger tables have to pre-order well in advance) and it’s ok. The chicken is good but the dish is very dry. It does come with a syrup however nowhere near enough. Portions are small but in a place like this it is expected however you do expect better quality to compensate

Highly recommend the brunch. Excellent value for money, top variety of drinks. Jessy our server was outstanding and catered to our every need. Also A blonde tall lad with longer hair curtains ( I didn't catch his name) are a credit to your team. Good atmosphere and tunes also! Keep up the good work and thanks again ☺️

Good selection of ales available though some seem quite pricey compared to comparable bars in Newcastle and the North East. Atmosphere was ok, but as it was a Friday night it was busy and difficult to judge. I'm told it would be much more to my taste at quieter times so will be happy to go again to assess this.

This was a fantastic bar for drinking, with bright colours across the interior! Balloons and stylish frames add to the environment, counter is stylish. I enjoyed one of their ciders at comfortable seating, sat by a clean table!

Fab place for friends to meet and hang out! Good location, right in the city centre with good selection. They have both indoor and outdoor place. Nice and friendly staff, they are all very welcoming. Interesting decor and vibe. Their drink is really good. Although it is a bit pricy but the quality is obviously there!

Absolutely! North Bar is a fantastic spot. Their beer selection is incredible, and you can't beat the chill vibe for a night of drinks and board games. Staff are great too!!

Visited this cocktail bar on a quiet Saturday afternoon when it was less than half full. Despite this, the front of house staff made us feel extremely unwelcome when we arrived with 2 extra people in our group. We were perfectly fine with being a bit cramped at our table, but the staff made it clear this wasn't acceptable in their eyes. There were several empty tables around us, which made the hostile reception even more puzzling and unnecessary. The uncomfortable atmosphere completely ruined what should have been a relaxing afternoon, and we ended up leaving after just one drink instead of staying for several as originally planned. Would not recommend this place if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere or any flexibility with your group. After a very scientific cocktail crawl around many of Leeds recommended cocktail bars.... This wins hands down. Great selection, wonderful service, lovely atmosphere, although they do pump some scented stuff into the air which made me sneeze! But I'll forgive them that for the lovely cocktails.

Loved this place! Cocktails were spot on – super tasty and well-made. The service was quick and friendly, and the staff really knew their stuff when recommending drinks. Great atmosphere too, perfect for a night out.

A little old school hidden gem. Look for a lamp because a chances are, you’ll miss the entrance. The cocktails were divine. Recommend the Eating an Orange in a Bathtub. The music was amazing!

We had a really lovely night here. We booked, as you're definitely not guaranteed a table if you just turn up. We were both alcohol free, and we were so impressed by how well we were catered for. We were offered a non-alcoholic welcome drink, then almost the whole menu had a really thoughtful and equally delicious alcohol-free alternative. What we loved as well was that whereas usually mocktails now are priced at a similar level to a boozy cocktail, these were less than half the price. Our server was really pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere was great.

Stumbled upon the place and it was such a great cosy intimate place for a drink.

Went for Homeboy pizza. Didn’t disappoint, however some slightly disparate toppings. We had the pizza with pepperoni, everything bagel seasoning and honey. Great crisp on the cheese and base, nice dough and good quality ingredients. I’m not sure what the everything seasoning added (and I am a big fan of everything bagels) but it didn’t detract.

A really great bar. Firstly they are very dog friendly. People friendly too. Excellent selection of beers. The cocktails are great!! Had a small cocktail challenge between two of the wonderful bar staff who made our drinks. Very difficult to choose a winner (actually easy - we were the winners). Wow this place is unreal on a busy Saturday afternoon they produced two amazing Detroit style pizzas as good if not better that Ramonas in Manchester 🙊 brilliant crust tasty toppings and just the right size. You know a good pizza when you can demolish it and not feel super stuffed. Brilliant atmosphere and good price. Deffo coming back

If I were to ever run a bar, it would look like this. This place is so beautiful. We had some great food on the terrace at the back and watched the trains go by.

Friendly service, and the amuse bouche cocktail was nice. Interior design was nice with a pub atmosphere. However our drinks were just not nice and not really drinkable, strange chemically taste.

Unlike other cocktail bars I've visited, every drink here was a masterpiece. For me, the measure of a bar's greatness is its ability to execute a simple drink to perfection. The Old Fashioned I ordered was spot on, a true classic. I asked for a custom drink based on my partner's preferences, and he absolutely nailed it. Quiet and cozy, it's the perfect hideaway, and the best part? It won't break the bank. In summary, if you seek a sanctuary in the city with impeccable drinks and a barman who can create magic, this is the place to be. Cheers to hidden treasures.

I've been to a lot of cocktails bars inside and outside the UK and I think this could be my favourite! ...or close second at least! Situated super close to the hotel I was staying in (Hampton). Great atmosphere. Super attentive and pleasant staff. Free cocktail and nibbles on arrival. Brave and interesting menu! They will adjust a cocktail for you of it isn't quite to your taste too ❤️ Just don't get yourself locked out when you visit the toilet! 😂 Only place I visited twice while I was in Leeds for the weekend! Will definitely return.

Came here 4th Feb in the evening, couldn't remember the name of the bar lady that served us but she made a fantastic recommendation on a tequila and the cocktails were stunning! Quiet on a Sunday night but that's not their fault - the decoration was amazing and selection of cocktails was beaut! Cannot recommend enough to go!

Drinks were decent prices and atmosphere was really good, relaxed but upbeat. One of the staff members came off a little hostile but everything was run really smoothly and we felt attended to without being bothered. Tuesday Pub quiz is £1 per person, hosted on SpeedQuizzing. Was a good length and a great time, maybe just needed a bit more variety of topics!

Came to parkside tavern for a bite to eat and a drink. The staff were lovely and accommodating. After ordering food, a table next to us claimed it was theirs and were quite unpleasant, the staff did everything to rectify the situation and went above and beyond. It's unfortunate some customers will be unpleasant and take advantage of a lovely establishment. But the staff at parkside tavern were beyond kind and helpful and really did their best to fix a bad situation caused by shoddy customers. I've come here a fair few times and every time has been a great experience. 10/10 service and atmosphere :)

We booked an hour of pool, darts and shuffleboard for a group gathering. Games were very reasonably priced. We stayed on longer than expected because of the fun and atmosphere. Food was good too. Staff were friendly. Everyone has raved about it since. Would recommend for a group gathering.

Lovely pub. Go for it! Great atmosphere, service was quick and staff were very friendly. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends, watch games, or just go with your partner. The pizza was delicious and didn't take long to be ready, so definitely good for a bite while having a few pints. It's not very big, but as we weren't very hungry, we got 1 to share between 2. Also pool tables are very well look after. I recommend giving it a go but if you wanna play it, you need to book in advance. At least one day before

We recently hosted our company’s summer party at Parkside Tavern, and it was an absolute hit! From the moment we arrived, the staff, particuarly Tara and Sophie made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with a smile and enthusaism. The catering was top-notch, offering a delicious array of dishes that catered to all dietary preferences and the bar service was equally impressive, One of the highlights was the seamless organization and attention to detail. The event coordinators were professional and accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. You won't get better vaule for money for a private event anywhere else in Leeds.

Stumbled across this pub on a Sunday morning and enjoyed a few drinks and pool. A lovely pub but the out side is ruined by tacky advertising on the front of a lovely building. Staff weren't sure of the buildings history which is a shame as it has the look of tudor styling on the front. The pool tables are pay by the hour which is great but unfortunately at £12 an hour I think it was time to spend some money on new baize and cues. The lack of attention to detail gives all the signs of chain pub management and while the website it all flash and glossy, the gloss wears off very quickly and needs maintaining. We went to go back on Monday to show it to someone in the group the pub but the pub was closed but had times on the front saying it was open at 15:00 on Monday so we went back at 15:30 to fi d it still closed, never thought of checking Website as this states pub is closed.

This was a great pub to drinking at, with a throwback and flashy design! The counter is well-presented, staff were welcoming and seating is good. I had a pint of Budweiser, although it is somewhat expensive at slightly over £5 and the pool table was fun however.

We visited Bastards Bistro on Sunday 5th October for a Sunday roast for a group of seven. We ordered seven roasts and didn’t mind waiting a bit, given the size of our group. However, around 20 minutes later, a single board of roast arrived with only four plates, leaving three of us without food or plates. We weren’t told that the board was meant to serve four people. In fact, based on the small portion size, we assumed it was for two. We waited quite a while for the rest, but nothing came. Eventually, we had to get up and ask at the bar, and a staff member came over to ask how many people were still waiting, which was surprising given that three of us clearly didn’t have food in front of us. She later explained there had been a mistake with how the order was entered, and that the remaining food would be out soon. When the second board finally arrived, we were told it was meant to serve three people, which was shocking, as the portion size was incredibly small considering the roast costs £20 per person (so £60 for the tiny board). As you can see in the photo I’ve attached, the board for three was tiny, missing parsnips (which were on the other board), and the beef and Yorkshire puddings were cold. To make matters worse, there was just one small, pathetic bowl of green vegetables supposedly meant for all seven of us to share, completely unacceptable for the price and number of people. There was no apology, no compensation, and no effort to make up for the situation. Overall, this was the worst Sunday roast we’ve ever had. Overpriced, cold food, and service that completely missed the mark. Would not recommend.

Visited The Green room recently on a function. There was a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Polite and very efficient. Olivia the girl behind the bar offered great customer service and very helpful with choosing cocktails. The place was clean and in a good location. Would definitely recommend.

Booked for Sunday lunch at 3pm, arrived and stood just by the first tables, got ignored for 3 minutes by the same waitress so just headed to the bar, were told our name should be on some paper as we can sit ourselves then order at the bar (no issue). We looked but there was a small mix up so our name wasn’t anywhere so we waited for a table to clear and then the bar girl said we could sit. The so called manager was apparently the girl who original ignored us and refused to speak or sit to us, but instead communicated to us through the bar girl (very strange). We then waited 40 minutes it was for food (which isn’t too much of an issue) but noticed there was no link between kitchen and bar, and they seemed to not communicate at all, we had to ask for cutlery twice and you have to order everything at the bar (which is quite busy so takes a while). The food was okay, personally would expect more when they charge 20£ per person The service was trully atrocious and all the staff seemed unbothered and quite frankly hungover, apart from the lovely auburn haired girl that was behind the bar! (Shoutout to her)

Went to Green Room with my mates recently! Had a great time! Awesome music, good cocktails! We all got margaritas from an awesome staff member! Super quick service and tasted great! She was very friendly and made me and my mates laugh! Thanks for the great night Olivia!

We really enjoyed our afternoon in the sun on the terrace. There was a lovely atmosphere and we made some new friends. .We were served by Meg who was very friendly and efficient and made us the best cocktails we’ve had for ages. If you’re ever in the city centre we would definitely recommend the green room. 😀😍

This is in the heart of Trinity. A really fancy looking restaurant for celebrations. Service was prompt. Food was a bit of a let down with the taste but the dessert was divine. Good price for a three course meal, would be nicer if a drink was added.

We had a great bottomless brunch last week! I had to leave a review just because every single member of staff were so great! From bar to the runner staff and management, they really made the afternoon lovely and we will definitely be returning because they were so attentive and pleasant.

We have been here quite a few times now and like to visit on a Thursday or Friday afternoon before the weekend crowds descend on the City centre. On our last visit we ordered a selection of nibbles to put us on and I think the choices we made were perfect . We especially liked the cod cheeks. John doesn't like Oysters but I couldn't resist the offer that they had on of 6 Lindisfarne Oysters and 2 glasses of @nyetimber for £34. The oysters were the biggest I have ever seen and they were yummy. Angelica's has a great happy hour that is actually 4 hours long. My favourite was the frozen pina colada and John opted for the frozen strawberry daiquiri. It's so nice to sit outside on the rooftop terrace and it's not a problem if it's a little chilly as there are heaters under the parasols.

Very nice place with good terrace view on Leeds. Inside restaurant looks pretty and modern. Perfect place for date. Staff are friendly and desserts is tasty. You can feel full flavour of food what you order. Defently will come back on next visit in Leeds.

Noticed this place by accident looking through the roof of the Trinity shopping centre. What a lovely time we had. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. I loved the chilled out music. Excellent service from Charlotte and amazing food. I had fillet steak which was cooked just how I like it and was very tender and tasty. Will definitely be going back again.

What a fantastic place for a summer’s afternoon! Sat outside with the views is the perfect retreat from the city bustle and the planes passing overhead add a nice yet unobtrusive mix to the environment. Decor is brilliant, staff are super friendly and helpful and everywhere is clean. The menu choice is varied, with prices not too ridiculous, and they are willing to make up drinks not listed on the menu. It’d be difficult to ‘stumble’ across this place, but if you’re looking for some nice relaxing drinks in a sophisticated setting I’d highly recommend navigating the crowds below to visit.

A really fantastic bar, great food, and incredible service from staff. The host is always warm and welcoming, as are the wait staff. The food offerings are good, although starters were ever so slightly lacking but perfectly suitable for a bar. I highly recommend speaking to Zoe for any requirements and thank you for wonderful visits.

I had a brilliant time ordering pizzas for our office event! The food was top-notch, and everyone raved about how tasty it was. The service was on point too; the team checked in on us and made sure everything was cleared away quickly. The atmosphere was perfect for our gathering, and I really appreciated the warm thank you at the end. Can't wait to order from here again!

Had an absolutely brilliant night out! The team was fantastic, really friendly, and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere while using the karaoke – definitely the place to be for a good time. The drinks and food were spot on too. I can't wait to come back!

We have recently hosted a charity quiz night event at BOX and the BOX team could not have been more accommodating - they assisted us throughout the night, all dietary requirements were catered to, and the food and drinks was in good portions and for good value. The venue is also big and can easily accommodate big groups. The darts and shuffleboard were a nice finish to the night - a great experience overall!

Wonderful atmosphere for football. TV screens are actually everywhere no matter where you sit or stand. The sound system is great when the game start. For big match, advance resevations is recommended. Food is a bit pricey but is amazing pizza is great.

We recently hosted a charity quiz night at this event and it was a fantastic evening. The BOX team were incredibly helpful, the food and drinks were amazing. They were great at catering for dietary requirements. The technical lights/tv screens etc worked amazing for the quiz. Can’t recommend BOX and their amazing team enough - thank you!

Loved the discrete, speakeasy style entrance (via a barber's) to the bar. Great cocktails, fab music by the resident house band which culminated in a party atmosphere. Good fun!

I’ve not been this impressed by a bar in a long time. Atmosphere. Music. Bar tenders having fun making you drinks, really caring about it. Feels rare these days. If you’re properly into music and love to hear it from different shapes and angles, this is the place to be. Not just a gem, a place that makes you realise real diamonds aren’t cut from stone

I've visited the Domino club a few times over the years. First time for probably 6/7 years recently and it's just as good as I remember! Incredible atmosphere and there's something really special about it being hidden away in the back of the barbershop. The cover charge is very reasonable for high quality live acts all night. We couldn't book a table for our chosen night, but on arrival we were offered one that happened to be available straight away. Incredible range of drinks available. If you like whiskey, you'll be spoilt for choice! Good alcohol free options available too if you're driving or simply don't want to drink. Whilst tables are down, table service is available. Between myself and my partner we enjoyed an espresso martini, southern hospitality, an old fashioned and an alcohol free mojito. All absolutely fantastic and well presented. Water on the tables was welcomed too! The best evening venue in Leeds in my opinion!

Fantastic food I love the Botanist unfortunately the Manchester one has shut but luckily my daughter has moved to Leeds uni. Good food on a adventurous menu I had 3 starters as a tapas, Calamari, Pork belly and Korean chicken every one was fantastic and also a good price.

I visited on Wednesday evening, and I believe our server’s name was Sam. This was my very first time dining out since having stomach surgery, so I was honestly a bit nervous. I have a lot of dietary restrictions now, and eating out can feel intimidating. From the moment Sam greeted us, he couldn’t have been more understanding or accommodating. He took the time to really listen, answered every question with patience, and made me feel completely at ease about my meal choices. It’s rare to feel so genuinely cared for in a dining experience, and I truly appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. On top of the excellent service, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I left feeling not only comfortable and safe, but also so grateful to have had such a positive first dining-out experience after surgery.

Really nice place, great drinks selection. Food menu not too large to make it difficult to choose but has something for everyone. The hot sharing platter was excellent. Decoration is nice but why call a place the botanist and then decorate it with plastic plants. I mean come on 😖

Missed a star for atmosphere because it was a bit cramped. Went with family (grown up children) they accidentally spilt chips on my daughter (the bowl went over as they were putting it down). Well they couldn’t have been more attentive. The restaurant manager came to check on her, her meal was free and we got a free round of cocktails. Amazing customer service! The waitress was great too. Food was nice and so were the drinks

We really enjoyed our food here while shopping in The Trinity. Staff were fast and friendly. Food was tasty and we especially appreciated the two for one special on the hanging kebabs. The sides were really tasty too. There were plenty of gluten free options which I really appreciated. The drinks list is very extensive. I appreciated the variety although the cocktails were a smidge on the pricey side but that can be expected for the area.

Lovely decor, we didn't book but it was very quiet when we arrived 1.30pm. Only two other tables occupied. No one came to great us or offered us a table, so we just seated ourselves. It was then a good 10 minutes until we were approached and our drink and food order were taken. A further 10 minutes for a coke to arrive, followed by a further long wait and then us to prompt for our water to be brought to us . We requested a highchair and one was provided, but unfortunately, it only had one of its straps which meant one of the parents had to sit with a hand on the chair to stop the baby sliping through. Starters came. They were piping hot and very, very tasty. Further long wait, to which we were starting to panic slightly as we had a train to catch but then the mains arrived. Well worth the wait as they were lovely. We had a couple of the lite bite steaks, great value and the steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The guy we spoke to as leaving was very friendly and lovely to talk to but unfortunately, the service was very poor considering how quiet it was. A shame because the food was very good.

Appalling is the best I can say ! Light bulbs not working a filthy toilet with chewing gum stuck to the tiles the upholstered seating was badly stained on more than one of the chairs and sofas. filthy carpets … we were sat down given menus and on ordering not seating were informed that only one of the steaks of the four were available (we wanted three T bones) the pate was off the menu completely (old menu) two of us wanted to order that … plaster on the ceiling was cracked and missing, in fact the whole place is worn and in places dirty … we paid for drinks only half drunk and left in disgust Marstons should be ashamed avoid if possible … oh and 20 minute wait to order drinks and 15 for them to arrive.

Unfortunately, the bartender’s service was subpar and left a negative impression. I had a very disappointing experience with one of your bartenders during my visit for conference in your hotel. They were rude and made insulting remarks in front of other guests, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. This kind of behavior is not what I expect from a professional in hospitality, and it affected the overall atmosphere of the night. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I believe respectful service should be a basic standard for any establishment.

Came for a hen party on Saturday 14th June we had bottomless brunch and I have to say it was amazing, food was great and cocktails were lovely, I don’t remember the name of the lady that served us but she did an amazing job of looking after us and we will definitely visit again

Had my sisters wedding reception in the boardroom at lost and found on Albion place. Was an excellent day, felt very relaxed and in good hands with the team. The wedding party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and thought the room we had was lovely. Great service, tasty food (especially the bruschetta) great drinks. Planning the event was easy and communication was consistent and always had quick responses. They really helped make my sisters wedding reception perfect and stress free! Would definitely recommend for small/intimate wedding receptions.

Our Waiter Ethan was brilliant. Good fun polite and entertaining. He looked after us really well. The food was delicious , i wasn’t expecting such a high standard from a chain restaurant. Will definitely recommend Leeds Albion street to friends. Very good value.

Hired out the top floor for a party, such a good venue with enough space for people to chat but also dance. The staff were all incredibly friendly and super helpful throughout the night!

Probably one of the best niche bars I have ever been to with amazing staff. Pure history, the music, the vibe - it's everything. If you want a nice night out - I'm talking chill jazz, real Southern Motown kinda music. No shortage of Marvin Gaye, Otis Reading and much much more. It has another floor as well for parties they do on Saturdays. Excellent selection of spirits. They stocked my Bermuda rum which I'm proud of. If you find yourself in Leeds and want a nice place to go for a drink (not your typical pub or bar). Come to Smokestack. I will be returning.

Smokestack brings the essence of New Orleans to the centre of Leeds. It’s a speakeasy styled hangout that pulses with live funk, soul, blues and jazz music long into the night. These guys take great pride in their cocktail list, and after one or two have gone down the hatch it’s clear to see just why. Shaking up a liqueur storm with their premium southern-styled spirits, these mixed drinks offer quirky twists on forgotten classics. Rum-lovers need look no further than South of Soho, while the Parisian absinthe-laden Corpse Reviver No.2 packs one hefty punch. There’s plenty in store for the craft beer and wine connoisseurs too.

We called in here after having a meal at Bundobust, the bar was quiet, and it was cold too, more people did start arriving as we were leaving, the space is only small, perhaps it gets better later on into the evening. There are not many cider options either. Would have to try again to give it a more measured rating

The perfect location for a Baby Shower! We reserved the beautiful function room upstairs and enjoyed a fantastic buffet. It comfortably fit 20 people and everyone complimented the venue choice. Excellent service and communication throughout. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

BANYAN 2025 BOTTOMLESS SUPPERCLUB (AFTER 3PM) 9 ladies wined and dined here on Saturday evening. We were well looked after. The prosecco was flowing and so were the other drinks although we all said that we felt that the drinks were watered down. Food was excellent and very tasty. £41.95 wasn't really a bad price considering whst we had to drink. Staff were lovely and looked after us we. Unfortunately the music left little to be desired. The dance floor was mostly empty and that's a real sign for the dj to change the music. All in all we had a great time.

Popped in today to have a Sunday roast. It was lovely, you get a large portion, I opted for beef, you get red cabbage, parsnips, carrots Yorkshire puddings, loads of roast potatoes, broccoli and unlimited gravy. Cost was around £21.50. knocked a star off due to the beef being overdone. But would recommend. The Guinness was spot on.

Can not give the manager Kieran and our server Carrie enough praise. We had less than an hour before our train and they made sure we had food and drinks with time to spare. Service and efficiency 10/10. Although it was really busy. No member of staff looked flustered or struggling. From what I saw , it was good management of staff and everyone working as a team.

Best birria tacos in Leeds!! Staff are always so friendly, music is a vibe and food is 10/10 and fairly priced. We waited a little longer for our tacos (we were having drinks so didn’t mind) and they gave us a tequila shot each for the wait!! Highly recommend <3

Food was delicious! The prawn tacos were amazing and we ended up ordering 3 of these because they were so good! We had the mezcal cocktails but we found these a little too sour and lacking syrup as they are normally a little sweeter elsewhere. However we would return!

Went for my boyfriends birthday. They went out of their way to accommodate 11 of us which we were very impressed by given they are a small kitchen. Although it appears as a bar, the food is outstanding! We had burritos, nachos, wings and churros and it was all delicious and good value. The churros are the best I've ever had, and I've lived in Spain for a couple of years! Chocolate infused cinnamon covered with a tasty dip (n.b. you get four but my photo shows three as I couldn't resist!). The service was excellent too, lovely staff. Fully recommend!

Had a great experience hear today. Shout out to the bloke that served us. We've been in before and know it's only a small kitchen so when we saw a large group we knew there would be a bit of a wait for food. Really wasn't that bad of a wait but the server knocked all of our drinks off the tab and offered us a free shot of tequila each. Absolutely first class service, and the food.... Always has been and likely always will be the best Mexican spot in Leeds. Unreal flavours to say they are made in a 1m squared kitchen. Will 100% be back again, and again..

Me and my partner went for the evening on a Saturday night. The service was brilliant. Good priced drinks as well. It was a great atmosphere. We stayed for the whole evening till midnight we enjoyed it that much. The bouncers outside were brilliant when something went wrong with some drunk customers and handled it extremely well. The DJ played a variety of music including requested songs. Would definitely recommend for an evening with a slightly more chilled vibe to it.

Decided to try this bar for my birthday on Saturday and I was not disappointed. The bottomless brunch is worth the money, they are generous coming over to take drink orders. Nice atmosphere and tasty drinks (with lots of options!) Ryan, our server, was great. Would recommend, and we will be going again.

We arrived in the bar on bank holiday Monday to find that a lot of the beer taps were off… not an ideal start but we adapted. As a party of 6, we found a comfortable table opposite a tv screen. There was a sign on the table saying “Reserved from 19:00” as we were sitting down at 19:25 we didn’t think this would be a problem. We were then told to remove ourselves from the table despite as it was still booked. This was very disappointing and no further explanation was offered.

Popped in for their £7 lunch menu. Burgers, pizza and wraps available with a soft drink. Great value for money, nice place, plenty of seating including outside. The food is genuinely good pub food which I enjoyed for only a couple of £s more than you would spend on a meal deal. Worth the visit.

Big pub/bar set in nice location on the canal. Loads of seating inside and outside. Open kitchen on the upper level serving fresh cooked pizza, sandwiches, burgers etc . Its a shame this place does NOT accept cash. But still worth a visit.

We went to Water Lane Boathouse for a friend’s birthday meal and drinks. There was indoor and outdoor seating; we sat inside. The atmosphere was vibey, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of drinks, and the 50% off pizzas on Sundays between 5-8pm was a great. The long, bench-style tables were perfect for talking and socialising (however, not ideal for buggies). The pizzas were delicious! Ours were great, although one of our friends received a pizza with a crust that was quite heavily charred.

A lovely place to have lunch sat outside on a sunny day. It's a haven of peace right in the middle of the city. The pizza sandwich was very nice. It gets busy!

Visited for lunch with a friend. Food was good, very noisy but there were 2 very large gatherings so inevitable really. Views of the river were fab, window seat provided a great viewpoint for ducks and ducklings swimming by. Dog friendly inside and looks to have a good outside area too.

Just found my new favourite place in Leeds. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. I haven't tried the food though.

Great dog friendly spot, just a little bit tricky visiting solo with my mutt as by the time we'd gone inside to order, someone had swiped our outside table. Luckily they were up for sharing with a dog as I'd ordered some food to that table number! Staff brought my dog a water bowl and a treat too so he gives it 5 stars! Think it might have been easier if the outside bar had been open while we were there but we'd definitely go back as it has a nice atmosphere.

Seen this place a thousand times on my walk to work and finally managed to visit on a Sunday evening to find that pizzas were half price. Really tasty food, good beer (can't go wrong with a pint of Neck Oil), good service and reasonable beer prices for a city centre. Decent atmosphere too even if me and my mates were the oldest in there by about 20 years 🧓.

This is my 3rd time visiting Flight Club previously in London branches. The same vibe, service and just all round excellent experience. On this occasion visited for drinks and games with work friends which was really fun and enjoyable.

What a genius idea for a brunch! Booked this for a group of 6 girls one Saturday and every single one loved it! On arrival you are shown to your table where your pre ordered drinks are waiting for you. You could choose a bottle of prosecco or 4 bottled beers per person. Everyone had opted for Prosecco. They also had a jug of orange in case you wanted to make mimosas along with a jug of water and plenty of spare glasses. Very well thought out! This is also where your unlimited pizza is served, this is pretty decent pizza too (choice of 3)! You are given half an hour to sit and enjoy this and make a start on your drinks. Once your half hour is up, you are moved to your own area to start your games of darts. Your drinks and pizza are moved with you so you don't feel rushed one bit. You get half an hour to work your way through the various games of darts which were a lot of fun! Your final half hour, you are moved back to the bar area to finish your drinks which we seemed to have quite a lot left so stayed for way longer but ! nobody was being kicked out. It's really nice to go for a brunch where you're not just knocking drinks back to get your money's worth and bog standard food. This was such a refreshing change a fun activity in a relaxed atmosphere, well worth it's money! Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely brilliant time. If you are wanting a quirky fun evening with something a little different then this is a place to try. Doesn't matter if you are into darts or even good at darts, it's still loads of fun and the service is top notch. Called for table service and before I had everyone's order, I had table service asking me what we all wanted. Can't recommend this place enough. Great night for anything from friends getting together to starting your night's party off with great fun!!

We had a fantastic time for our work event. The staff were very friendly, helpful and thorough. They regularly checked if we needed more pizzas for our brunch (which was delicious, especially the 4 cheese one) and the amount of alcohol was perfect. We bought additional cocktails/shots, which were also fantastic. There was a member of staff at the bar, named Daisy, who was particularly noteworthy. She was super polite, friendly and accommodating of everything we asked. I lost the receipt that I could provide feedback about so I hope she sees this! My only less positive feedback was that I think 90 minutes would be a better length of time for playing darts. We didn't get time to have a go at all the games and we were all disappointed when the time was up. It went too quickly!

We came midweek at lunchtime so created our own atmosphere! Fun darts with a variety of games to keep the interest going. Something for everyone even if you've never played before. Staff very helpful, went through the log on process and brought our food quickly from the lunchtime meal deal menu. Big portions!

Games were amazing, so much choice! I personally loved the Nintendo switch the most. My friends really enjoyed it. Lovely cocktails (quite strong too!) There are lots of student deals, great for student society mixers. The pizza was quite small, but still delicious! Thank you Scott for inviting our society, we will be returning next academic year!

Our 2nd visit to Pixel Bar yesterday. Staff always very helpful and friendly, atmosphere brilliant, cocktails are fabulous, my 13 year old loves it. Food was pretty awesome too! Will make this a regular visit. :-) and love the student discount.

They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into their menu, and it shows. The music awesome, with a playlist that keeps the energy high without being overbearing. I recently lost my wife to cancer, but a friend wanted to get me out of the house, for some different scenery, and of course to catch up and reminisce. I've been feeling very anxious lately so the thought of going out into Leeds or into a bar scared me, but I pushed myself to go. This was the perfect place, and perhaps the time that we went (6pm) helped because it wasn't overly busy. So I felt at ease and my anxiety faded very quickly after sitting. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours without realising the time. Absolutely brilliant!

me, my partner and my friends have been coming to pixel every month or so since I started uni (3 years ago!) and every single visit has been amazing. You can tell the staff love their job because they're always fun to talk too. The drinks are delicious every time and the environment is just so fun. It's probably my favourite place in Leeds to go.

Super friendly staff; attentative and great and the cocktails were delicious! Fun bar with fun games and the theming of the cocktails to the games was good. When the switch was bugged the staff noticed before us and fixed it immediately. Would defo go again :)

We contacted Pixel Bar to arrange our Christmas Party, they were super helpful from start to finish and went out of their way to make our party special! The manager Stuart was lovely, all the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. They were very responsive to emails in the run up to the event. We had some requests for drinks and music which they kindly accommodated and they did an amazing job! The cocktails were delicious~ We reserved some booths and the games were already set up so we had a blast playing games and dancing. Overall the whole bar just had a really nice atmosphere, people were friendly and strangers even tried to join in singing to our obscure music request 😂 We will definitely be back, thanks again, from Meian Maids ❤️

We had a bottomless brunch here and it was amazing! Great atmosphere, fantastic drinks and lovely food! Would defo recommend! Emma, Gee and Tia looked after us and they were fabulous. My daughter had a fantastic birthday.

Absolutely amazing service. Bottle of Prosecco on arrival plus any drink you’d like. Pizza was all you can eat and they would give you as many drinks as you’d like. I absolutely love this bar and grill. The cheese dip fries are phenomenal and the burgers are like true back home American. Rooftop ambiance and friendly staff. Must visit again. Down side no Corona or Heineken beer. However they do have Coors beer

We came last night for the valentines menu and it did not disappoint, the upstairs was done out really nice and cosy, the food was incredible, each course was cooked to perfection and tasted unbelievable you could tell the ingredients used was great quality and that a lot of time, effort and attention went into each dish, it was fine dining at its best! Definitely be back!

Went by accident after Northern Monk was unexpectedly closed - but what a find! Top quality Sunday roast, with side of cauliflower cheese, and a few local cask ales among a large beer selection. Was fairly busy but not too much so, with a nice atmosphere. Comfortable and the staff were attentive and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.

A good distance from the city center, less so from the main train station. So if you’re just arriving or waiting to head out on a train, this place is (maybe) worth the walk. A cool little pub in a clearly gentrifying area. Interior is rustic yet modern. They had only two of the four cask handles active. Not to mention at £5 a pint this was the most expensive beer during my Leeds trip. Service was spotty. The guy was friendly and welcoming. The Jersey Shore looking girl acted like she’d rather be anywhere else. Which is cool, just leave your laptop at home or maybe even stay home rather than bring your misery to work and project on other people.

We were visiting Leeds for 4 days and stopped in for dinner. We've had drinks here before on previous visits but never food. It didn't disappoint. Nothing fancy, just pie and mash chased with gin and tonics. Decent selection of cask and draft beers. Friendly service and clean toilets.

Very cosy little pub with a roaring fire tucked away behind the train station. We took my mum here for Sunday lunch today and had a great meal. Food was flavoursome, well cooked and nicely presented. Service was super friendly and efficient. Being part of the North Brewery Group they have a good range of craft beers. Would highly recommend for Sunday roast!

As a disabled person who uses a wheelchair I just want to thank your staff for a great experience. Came for a gig, booked wheelchair access, had food and drinks, service was fantastic, food was delicious, staff couldn't do enough to assist us. Will definitely come to other events here.

Went here last night to see Rianne Downey, very cosy, very spacious, theres a room specially for the music, the toilets are very clean, then theres a restaurant too, as you can imagine the drinks are very expensive. There's a lot of music and comedy on here!

Went to watch a gig here so decided to have a drink and food in the bar. Service was first class and food was amazing. The atmosphere of the bar was great and felt really chilled. Highly recommend to eat here.

Had dinner here before seeing Cate Canning in the venue below and it was genuinely the best burger I’ve had! Cocktails were also brilliant. The venue was also super cute and had a great sound system. Nothing to complain about. Super convenient having a restaurant in the venue for those travelling as we didn’t have to find anywhere else so saved us a bunch of time rushing around too.

The gig tonight was good which was The Prodigy. I was shocked how short it was, like say the music was amazing but how can a venue think it’s on for 45 mins set to be done and literately band walked off straight into bar with no explanation so made most feel deflated. Like say band was good shame you didn’t play The Warrior Dance as that’s just one best songs going out there misses and I love it would of made our night even more special

Love love this place! Been coming here ever since I moved to Leeds for university. The vast range of artists that play in the venue is incredible and the team there are top notch!

Great friendly staff and great atmosphere especially upstairs! The food menu is very solid too with vegan and vegetarian options! The vegan sausages were top notch and the beans were tasty and a good portion. Best breakfast/brunch for sure.

Food was stunning. Dog friendly. Staff were kind and understanding, able to make small changes to the food such as taking bacon of the burger. Yorkshire pudding was amazing.

What a delightful Sunday lunch! The ambience was wonderfully relaxed, and the service could not have been better. It was the perfect setting to enjoy fantastic food and good company—an excellent bar to relax with friends or alone, and even dog-friendly.

Massive praises for the most dog friendly place ever! Been here twice recently & both times the dogs have been given as good a meal as I have had, on the house! There are also dog treats on the bar & water has been provided for them both times without me having to asking. The food itself is very tasty, with the breakfast butty being a winner I imagine at such great value. The homemade bread is lovely & different however I do think the rest of the sandwiches being over double the cost of the breakfast butty is a bit much... which is why I never order them I think. The vibe is very relaxed which I like with lots of different options for seating. Just be mindful that the kitchen is not open on certain days of the week, if you're going for food. Service is friendly, kind, quick & helpful. Thank you, we'll be back for sure!

We came for the bottomless brunch and Paige was our waitress, she was really good and managed to keep everything going with her and one other person on the bar on a Friday evening! The food was great and as a gluten free person it’s one of the few places I’ve been that really went above & beyond to make a good gluten free meal. Cocktails were also lovely, well worth the money

Heard great things about the Sunday roast so was excited to give it a try. Food arrived an hour after ordering which was disappointing, but was more surprised that the staff offered no explanation. Would not have been too disappointed if they would have explained they were busy or something along those lines but they just gave us our food as if it is normal to have customers wait an hour. On top of that, they added a service charge without asking after the mediocre service we received. Chicken and carrot was lovely but gravy was a bit weak and rest of roast was nothing special.

Went here for the 1st time on Thursday for date night with my wife prior to a meal. The drinks were amazing and the barstaff were just brilliant. We sat at the bar as it was quite busy but we ended up staying at the bar seats for a couple of hours because the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They struck a truly perfect balance of chatting to us whilst at the same time giving us space to chat to each other. I couldn't recommend this place and this team enough. Thanks for a fantastic evening and experience fellas.

Found this little gem a couple of weeks ago and been back three times. Love it. Cocktails are excellent and Connor our waiter, a real professional, as are the team. We will be back. Highly recommended

The drinks were nice and the service was ok. The music playing was loud which meant people also were having so speak loudly to hear each other, not making the most relaxed atmosphere. There were lots of fruit flies on the windows inside. The water on the table hadn’t been changed since the customers before us. Also it may be our fault but we couldn’t find how to book online, yet some tables were reserved.

Been wanting to go here for ages. Amazing range of cocktails and the ones we had were amazing. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Some bars or cocktail places act like they're too cool for people so it was nice to be somewhere warm and welcoming with amazing drinks and great service.

We visited to play mini golf on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time. The golf has some really interesting, quirky holes so a bit different from the norm. Good vibe and staff were really friendly. Other games looked good too and we played pool after golf for free as it wasn't busy. We didn't eat but had drinks and there is a good selection of beers

We had a great time axe throwing on a Saturday afternoon. The place was buzzing but we were met by friendly staff and had fun attempting to hit the targets with the axe. Emily gave us hints and tips and joined in the fun whilst ensuring we were safe. We’ll be coming back for another try soon.

We visited last Sunday as part of a club social event, and it was a brilliant afternoon! The staff were fantastic, friendly, welcoming and made sure we felt safe and informed throughout. The venue was spotless and well-organised, especially during our hour of axe throwing, which was a real highlight. After that, we tried out a few of the team games they offer. There’s a great variety and it’s perfect for groups looking for something fun and competitive. The location is spot-on too, really easy to get to. Highly recommend for group outings or socials!

First visit to this bar yesterday and it definitely won't be the last. Brilliant helpful staff and the games were great. We played crazier golf, shuffle board and the interactive darts. If I could give 10 stars I would! My first time here, as I’m from London and my friend took me here for a good night out! And it was! We did axe throwing and had drinks! A staff member called Happy made our night! He was so so lovely, made us feel so welcome and relaxed (especially before axe throwing!) and he was such a vibe! A real asset to the team! The vibes were great, music was great and drinks very reasonably priced! Will definitely be back when I’m up in Leeds!

We brought clients along to Boom Battle Bar in Leeds and had an absolute blast! From axe throwing to darts and shuffleboard, it was the perfect mix of competitive fun and laughs all round. I attended the pre-launch tonight and it was nothing short of fantastic! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Emily and shown to our table where we were very well looked after the whole night. I didn’t catch his name, but the lovely tall blonde lad was an absolute gentlemen making sure we understood the menu and were having a good time. All the staff were super speedy behind the bar, were very attentive and made conversation with us. The best bar in Leeds! I always make sure to come here with friends and family when on a night out; it’s always the first bar we go to when going out. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a weekdayor a weekend; the atmosphere is always very pleasant. The staff are all amazing, kind, and very professional no matter the circumstances; the bartender Oscar is always a joy to talk to! Always greet me and my friends with good spirits when we enter and always take care of us! He’s incredibly good when it comes to his job and always makes our drinks with a smile!! Would definitely recommend coming here when you’re out and about in Leeds!! Best bar experience in Leeds!

They have recently renovated the venue and it looks incredible. The staff are also equally amazing. The bartenders Oscar, Leah and Jacob were especially amazing.

On a work night out we went to Be at one. The bartenders were amazing and really made our experience even better than it already was. A massive shout out to Hollie (who usually works at the millennium square venue). She went above and beyond and should be recognised for how great her customer service skills were. You truely made my night. Thank you Hollie, you were fabulous. Overall a great experience and I will be returning.

Refused service because we had children sat outside with us, I could understand if i wanted to take them in the dump but I didn’t. Certainly avoid!!! Response, kids sat outside in Millennium Square (a public space) have no impact on your licensing, tell your lies to someone who does not know the legal system!!!

I had such an amazing time at this fantastic hidden gem tucked away down the Calls, Aire Bar is a cozy little Leeds United-themed spot that’s perfect for a laid-back pint with a view. The inside has a proper local vibe—nothing too flashy, just walls full of LUFC pride, great tunes (genuinely didn't play a single bad song the whole time I was there!) , proper pool table, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. What really sets it apart is the outdoor seating area. I was fortunate enough to get use out of this, thanks to the blistering sun over the weekend. Overlooking the River Aire, it’s an ideal place to chill when the weather allows—peaceful, scenic, and a great escape from the city buzz. Whether you’re there to catch a match, enjoy a quiet drink, or just soak in the view, Aire Bar nails that balance of charm and character. Friendly staff, all of whom handled a very busy post-match crowd with great proficiency, phenomenal drinks selection, and a unique location make this little bar well worth a visit. Especially if you're a Leeds fan—it’s got heart, history, and a hell of a riverside seat. I know I'll be back week on week!

Still got the app drinks service activated since lockdown taking your money but not recognised in the bar and their burgers are like boiled burgers out of a tin definitely not proper beef burgers. Apart from that a great place for atmosphere and next to the river.

Nice bar next to the river with a small terraced area. Been visiting a few times over the past couple years being one of the first bars across the river from Armouries/Hotels before the rest of the city. Whilst the burgers are decent, Ultimate burger being the fav, the issue is now that the decor/seating particularly on the riverside terrace is becoming worn and tatted. Might need some TLC to keep it in good order (Same with the toilets.)

The worst bar manager ever. I was waiting at the bar and after 20 minutes was told to go to another bar. When I went to the other bar there was new customers (after me) that were served before be and when I was served I was told “there was a £100 round” which apparently takes priority over any one that waits in a queue like a normal person. Awful service. Rude staff. Do not recommend. I hope they look back at cctv and realise how stupid they have been. DO NOT DRINK HERE. Response to owners comment - there is no confusion. I was asked to move to the other end of the bar where I would be served, only to once again be ignored and eventually greeted by a very rude and arrogant “manager” who told me it was a £100 round so I responded asking why that would get priority over a customer that had been waiting patiently for 25 minutes. To clarify this is defiantly the Aire Bar on the calls, Leeds, next to the river and I would not recommend this bar to anyone. Very Rude and Ignorant staff, toilets are dirty and smell like urine. So once again DO NOT DRINK HERE!

Nice selection of beers at decent prices. Sadly only positive thing I can say about the place. The venue needs some TLC, especially the outdoor seating area. Chairs falling to bits and filthy outside. Equally filthy are the glasses used to serve drinks. Absolutely disgraceful to think you can serve drinks in that state. Such a shame that the place has gone down hill

Sela bar is a must go! Support your independents! Their £10 pizza and a pint deal (not sure of times) is flying under the radar and it needs to be heard more. They also do GF bases! Pictured is a half eaten GF olives pizza. One of the best gf bases I’ve had so bar. Not horribly dry or dense like most. You can sit outside on the street and people watch too. Good pints and always good live music.

Love going here when in Leeds. Nice atmosphere and good music generally. Never any problem. Unfortunately I cant go anymore as they have replaced the Kirstall Brewery Virtuous with Pilsner. Virtuous is gluten free Pilsner is not so no beer on pump that I can drink. Sad that they didn't think that through.

Nice little bar for beer, cocktails and more. Friendly staff. They have live bands on multiple times a week with different genres and tastes catered for. Good place for a dance and drink. They serve some pretty tasty pizzas as well. Definitely recommend.

I love this pizza! We rocked in about 10.30 on a Wednesday and loved the fact the kitchen was still open so made the most of beer and pizza for a tenner and it was delicious. A great deal considering I had paid nearly £8 for small fries and sauce with no drink somewhere else in Leeds.

One of my favourite bars to go in Leeds city centre. I think this is wine bar but, somehow, Madri beer here is super good and fresh. Usually very calm atmosphere, so that perfect place to have conversation. The staffs are always kind too.

The pub had a very crowded and dark atmosphere, making it feel small and suffocating. The crowd was mostly young and not very friendly, which didn’t create the best vibes for a night out. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the security at the entrance and throughout the venue was great. Unfortunately, the overall experience wasn't ideal for me.

Completely rude and incompetent staff, we have been many times and always received amazing service and standard of cocktails, but tonight was a major exception. Not only did both bartenders make subpar cocktails, they are both incredibly rude. I don't doubt working in the industry is hard, I do myself, but this kind of service is completely unacceptable, would not be returning or recommending to a friend after this visit.

As expected other reviews say the same thing so I suppose this will be futile. The bouncers at this place are a disgrace. Rude, abrupt and while there was no queue was denied entry for no particular reason. This is obviously what the bar wants which is completely fine. There is plenty of more welcoming and friendly places for potential customers to take their business.

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING I had a bouncer attack me at this place because he was interested in one of the girls I was talking to that attended this venue. I go out all the time and never have any issues but in truly traumatised attended this venue venue as was a assaulted by the bouncer, punched in the face for no reason without aggression whatsoever, I honestly didn’t even think things like this could even happen. If your a guy and don’t want be be assaulted by some random bouncer for talking to a girl he’s never going to he the chance to chat to please don’t go to this dodgy venue. What a joke. I’d give this minus 1000 starts if I could. Bouncer should be sakes and the club should be shut down. Do not come here!

Called in for a few Sunday evening cocktails with my son. Bar was quiet, but the atmosphere was welcoming. The bar staff were friendly and the cocktails were innovative and well prepared.

We had our firm's summer party using the Gigawatt package and 3 gaming tables. The vibe of the bar is so cool, really clean with fabulous staff. The gaming was loads of fun and really got people mixing and the feedback today has been 100% positive - our boss said it was the best party we've ever had. Everything was easy, from enquiry through to the night itself. Our host Nat was so friendly and helpful, and our Gamesmaster Brad was hilarious and did a brilliant job. The food was delicious and varied, with great vegan choices. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great night out and will definitely book again.

Went with a work group for 90 mins of shuffleboard, enjoyed it - lovely decor and clean, great service and well priced drinks. There are 4 main shuffleboard games, could be one or two more to improve the experience. A good place and activity for friends or corporate groups.

We held our works event here for 90+ people. Everyone had a fantastic time. The food and games were great. But the best part were the staff. So kind and helpful and really bubbly. The host Oscar and game masters were brilliant at their job. Would highly recommend hiring the whole place for that private event, the team did a really good job of making it a special day. DJ Russ was awesome too!

Wonderful time with friends at a quirky corner of Leeds. I arrived not knowing what to expect, but was instantly made to feel at ease by the friendly staff and was comfortable from the word go. As a group, we had a lot of fun with the game, and even got a free 30 minute extension. Great atmosphere, large non-alcoholic drink selection, and would love to visit again soon!

Booked for a group of 6. Aged in our 50s- back for a university reunion. Never played before but easy to use the electronic set up and huge fun. We all loved it. V easy to play and different game options and electronic booking made it fun. The room layout was great - you each had your own little area with your board and tables & seats which was great. The bar had a fantastic selection of drinks and also a varied cocktail menu that we all tried out. The setting was stunning too. The next day we got a surprise email with highlights & action replays from our evening- all v funny! Would definitely recommend - can you please open more locations?!

Four of us played the shuffleboard tables. What a fantastic experience! Brilliant!. Would definitely recommend.Warm and friendly staff members, especially Maia who explained the games perfectly and was an amazing host. Thank you for a great night, we will be back soon 👍

Went with work. There was 25 us in total. It’s a fantastically laid out place. The shuffle boards are all around the outside with a DJ booth and several different seating areas. The game was really good and you at any time you could switch to a different game mode and keep your score. There is a button to press on the game board for service. You just give them your order and they bring your drinks and food. We had various different pizzas which were very tasty. The waitress we had ‘Jessie’ was an absolute god send. She was very helpful and suggestive with different cocktails in order and had a brilliant smile through the whole evening. After our game we moved into the bar area and Jessie and her colleagues helped us moving food and drink across. The music was a really good mixture of old and new dance. We all had a fantastic night and will be definitely going again soon.

A young blood bar this, student feel to it. Lots of lads in trackies and Jager Bombs! Not that I'm against it at all. Wanted to find somewhere to watch the 6 Nations the beer was flowing, and testosterone was hyped. So a little distracting. But a great bar to call into on a pub crawl with the lads!

I was away in leeds for a mates 30th. About 15 of us in total. Was in the afternoon so Bouncer had no problem us all coming in (he was massive! but friendly) Good selection of beers, nice seating area outside we enjoyed in the sun. Some of us went inside and asked if the Man city game could be put on one of the TV's. Happily obliged even though the leeds game was on! Highly recommended if you want to get here for some sport and beers

Amazing bar not too expensive. Kindest staff around. Good to regulars. Great food just stay away from burgers. Clean pipes providing a good pint that doesn't smell.

First time watching a football match in a pub and we could’ve not chosen the best place. Big screens all over the pub and even outside, orders were quick to arrive. Clean bathroom and the energy was good! Will come back again to sample the food as we’ve only had a small nibble.
