Rajasthani restaurant
Family restaurant
The Trio Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Jaisalmer, offering a diverse range of cuisines including North Indian, Rajasthani, Chinese, and continental dishes. The rooftop setting provides charming views of the fort and an opportunity to savor traditional dishes like tandoori thali. This age-old restaurant exudes regal charm with its high ceiling tent and windowed walls that overlook the old bazaar.
A very beautiful place with great food and a rich menu. The atmosphere in the place is good and pleasant, and the service is excellent. Before we arrived, we called to reserve a table, but when we got there, the host claimed he hadn’t approved the reservation (even though he had), and his attitude was unpleasant. However, he eventually seated us at an excellent table, and we had a wonderful time. Overall, aside from the experience of arriving at the place, everything was excellent.

The restaurant is very simple. Interior wise. The service is good. Not very impressive as I had ordered bajra Roti, but they forgot and they got the plain roti when requested and reminded they said that they forgot and made few excuses upon my request. They provided, but overall, the experience was good because the food was just awesome. It is very simply located outside the Mandir Palace Hotel. If you want to have good food, this is definitely the place to visit out again. Love to go for the taste of the food.
Anupama — Google review
Located at heart of the city this restaurant provides good food, great ambience and good service. We had the famous Lal maas, it was so good we visited again especially for that the next day. People were warm and welcoming. Prices were decent. Would definitely recommend.
Neha P — Google review
This place was on many websites as a must visit and boy did it deliver. The restaurant is located on the first floor about 15 mins from the Jaisalmer fort. The ambiance is lovely and the staff was polite and courteous. We ordered the thar special mutton and it was delicious. The mutton was succulent and well cooked. The flavours of the ghee and spices was coming through beautifully. We ordered the Naan to go with the gravy and it was good too. For desert we got the caramel custard which was nice as it was not too sweet. Definitely a must visit to try some really good food!
Patricia — Google review
Visited Trio Restaurant for the second time, The service was amazing as usual Ordered Peanut masala to start with which looked amazing and tasted good as well, Later ordered for murgh tikka which looked good but the taste was average, and along with murgh tikka asked for tawa roti. Which was good though the basket of roti had an underlined of tissue which was sticking to the roti because of heat. Would highly suggest to use a similar linen as the napkins for the Rotis.
Prashant M — Google review
Recently visited Trio Restaurant and had an excellent experience. The food was absolutely amazing, rich in authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff was extremely professional and courteous throughout. The ambience is aesthetic, with a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani charm and modern comfort. The rooftop seating offers a beautiful view of the fort, adding to the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in Jaisalmer. Will definitely visit again!
Upender Y — Google review
Trio is one of the best restaurants to dine in Jaisalmer. Lal Maas and other local cusines are delicious. Nicely perched overlooking the Nachna Havlei and Mandir Palace. Superbly located in the city Centre.
Sushant G — Google review
We stayed at Trio Haveli and also wanted to try it's restaurant. You can read my review of Trio Haveli also. The Trio Restaurant is in main market & parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is just adjacent to mandir palace (ITC welcome heritage). It was christmas day when we visited, not too full and seating was easily available. Food took some time to arrive. No major complains. We had heard a lot about laal maas, but didn't find anything spl. and also appeared that food colouring has been used. The soups ordered were not upto the mark. Naan & other items were ok. The Christmas cake was complementary, kids liked it. As the main sitting area is not on ground floor, those having knee or other walking issues will have difficulty. That's common issue across Jaisalmer.

The cozy interior and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors to unwind and savor their food. Run by two brothers, this rooftop cafe provides stunning sunset views and an array of excellent brews, including beautifully crafted lattes and refreshing beverages like Jaljeera or Masala Soda.
Perfect place to sip delicious coffee, sit, relax, and enjoy the sunset, the view of the city and the fort too. They have amazing options for coffee & tea! Saffron coffee is a must try! Deepak (Kuku) & Ritesh, are amazing people, very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. A very unique experience!!

This rooftop café offers stunning fort views, especially during sunset on clear days. The shakes and coffee were great, customized to preferences. Clean toilet available. Ambience could improve slightly, but overall, it’s a peaceful spot and worth visiting for the experience.

The owner KuKu is friendly; very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. I had iced masala latte and mix veggies maggies here. Love everything here, including the amazing view from Jaisalmer fort, definitely the best for sunset viewing. ☕️🌅💖

This is the best coffee shop in Jaisalmer! I tried the rose and pistachio cappuccinos – both were amazing. The owner is so humble, and the city view is incredible. A must-try!

Great Cafe in the fort! We had the vegan pancakes which were great, and also the rose latte which I loved. Kind owner. Highly recommend
Aya M — Google review
Great relaxing spot for breakfast and coffee. The staff is kind and service is quick. We had muesli yoghurt and coffee. The quality of the coffee is good (not Nescafé) and they do a proper latte. The muesli & yoghurt was also satisfactory and a good switch from local cuisine once in a while. View is also nice, and the place is not too crowded as it can only host about 20 people, which makes for a calm atmosphere while enjoying the views.

A Coffee Lover’s Dream in Jaisalmer We stumbled upon this gem on our first day in Jaisalmer, and after that, there was no question—we went back every single day. This place serves the best coffee we’ve had in India, and honestly, better than most in Europe. We tried a variety of drinks, from the Cafe The Hell with cardamom to a cinnamon latte and even an espresso tonic—each one was excellent. The vegan milk options were plentiful, but the real standout was the freshly made coconut milk—light, unsweetened, and worlds apart from the packaged stuff. The food? Equally outstanding. We had breakfast twice, and both times, it was exceptional. The vegan oatmeal with banana, cinnamon, and freshly shaved coconut was hearty and delicious, and the vegan pancakes? Absolute perfection. Made with puréed strawberry and banana, topped with fresh fruit (all rinsed with mineral water!) and crushed pistachios—so fresh, so flavorful, so good you won’t care that they’re vegan. Picture proof attached! Beyond the food and coffee, the owner was incredibly friendly, even sharing tips for our travels in Jodhpur and Udaipur. And let’s not forget the stunning view—we didn’t catch the sunset from here, but I can only imagine how spectacular it must be. You don’t have to be vegan to appreciate the brilliance of this place. It’s a must-visit in Jaisalmer Fort—a true gem!
Gregory L — Google review
Highly recommend trying their saffron coffee, the speciality its known for. The best time would be to visit in the evening so you can glimpse a sight of the greatest sunset views you will ever witness!

Rajasthani restaurant
Vegetarian restaurant
Chandan Shree Restaurant is a must-visit in Jaisalmer, offering authentic Rajasthani cuisine for lunch. Located at Hanuman Circle, it's known for serving the popular local street food Pyaaz Kachori. This deep-fried and spicy dish stuffed with onion slices is a favorite among both locals and tourists. The restaurant provides a perfect opportunity to savor the flavors of Jaisalmer while enjoying the golden sands.
Food was so good yummy n scrumptious that I forgot to click pictures only. We finished everything to the the last grain. Besan gutta. Let sangri and crisp bajra roti was toooo goood their missi roti was equally delicious. Trying food here is must. Can’t say about other cuisines but Rajasthan local flavour is awesome Little crowded n sitting area not that cool but that’s local

Great food. Done of the best Kachoris i have ever had. I have been here at least 5 times since my first visit. The Rajasthan thali and the kadi especially was fantastic. The service is great. The location is very clear to the fort. Digital payments are all accepted. They also have a sweet shop and the kesar rabri was delicious

Highly perfect place in regarding with location as it's located just in front of the city fort of jaisalmer. Food was okayish but yeah hygiene wasn't prominent thing to be appreciated. A great spot for families the kids menu hand various healthy options and the staff were very accommodating to our little ones .

Lovely place to dine, have breakfast and not to mention evening snacks... Very economical. I would definitely recommend Lassi at this place. Garnished with Cashew nuts, it really fills up the taste buds. The staff are polite and that just makes the food even more tastier. Overall, had a great time here!! Would love to revisit this place in future..💖👍

One of the best Restaurant available near the Jaisalmer Fort. If you are in the area and looking for a good restaurant then you need to definately check this one out. We had all of meal here only. They had a wide variety lf dishes from breakfast to dinner to dessert, all were really amazing. We had Aaloo Parathas, Dhosa, Paneer Bhurji, Daal Makhni with Chhachh. In dessert we had Ras Malia which was very tasty. The best part is all the food is very reasonable for the price they are asking. This restuarant is highly recommended.
Akash S — Google review
During my visit to Jaisalmer in March this year, I walked a lot to feel the vibes of the city and got tired hence hungry quicker than usual. The tour guide recommended the Chandan Sri Hotel that is right in front of the Jaisalmer Golden Fort. They had a sweet shop on the ground floor and a dining hall on the upper floor. The sitting arrangement was retro with all-wooden tables and chairs. The main attraction was self-service racks from which one could take the necessary dishes, paper napkins, spoons, and cutlery as required. The food was served at the table and the service was prompt and quick. They have an elaborate menu. I chose the Veg Thali which was unlimited and had 2 vegetables and one Daal with rice and unlimited rotis + a choice of dessert from Rasgulla or Gulab Jamun. The best part was the limited and clutter-free Thali at nominal rates that were well-suited for a quick bite and get back on the road again. ♿ Accessibility Features: No=Ramp access. Fotiya's Restaurant Cafe in Jaisalmer, established in 2005, offers a unique blend of Korean cuisine with traditional Indian street food. This cozy cafe is renowned for its delicious chaat and refreshing beverages, as well as its Korean-inspired dishes. The restaurant's welcoming ambiance and attentive service make it a top dining destination in the city.
This is yummy korean food. We got to talk to the chef who told us he learned from youtube and did a great job. We had the kimchi rice which came with a side of kimchi. The kimchi tasted fresh. We also had alloparatha which was well made. And a good size portion. They had both vegetarian and meat dishes available. ----- The rooftop had a nice breeze and cute simple decorations. The bathrooms are clean which is always nice too.

Fotiya Cafe: Hidden Gem with a Korean Twist! Fotiya Cafe! Tucked away in the city, Fotiya offers a unique experience: authentic Korean food I was initially quite surprised to find Korean cuisine on the menu, but let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The kimchi pancake was absolutely delicious - perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. The chicken mayo rice was a revelation! The spices were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was incredibly generous. But Fotiya isn't just about Korean food. Their glass noodle rice bowl was unlike anything I've ever had before - a true explosion of taste and textures! Even the sodas tasted fresh and delicious. The wait time was the only slight drawback. However, the clean washrooms, friendly service, and great views from the cafe made the wait more bearable. Despite the wait, Fotiya Cafe is a must-try for anyone visiting Jaisalmer. The combination of delicious Korean food, great service, and a clean environment makes it a truly unique and enjoyable experience in a pocket friendly too. So, if you're looking for something different and delicious, look no further than Fotiya Cafe!

The restaurant at the rooftop which has Korean food. Shyar bhai has good service n good knowledge bout koren food... No doubt this place has a lot of korean clients. Even the owner speaks korean...All the other staff are also very helpful n attentive. We even did a desert safari the nomadic way. Was a really great experience. A budget place for travelers... the location is a little off way but you get what you pay for.

Worst experience ever. Zero hospitality and ton of attitude. He said no for a coffee while offering to other guests. Worst experience.

It's located in literally next to Bronze Canon. Super nice view and vive especially in the morning. We can have breakfast with facing rising sun. I arrived to train station early morning so randomly came to Bronze Canon and was just chiling. Then the restaurant man talked me like "Namaste. Masala tea?" and I had unexpected wonderful and calm chilling monents there. It was still 7am that I entered to cafe but according to the google map, it opens from 8am so I don't know actually.

As a Google Local Guide, I am excited to share my recent dining experience at Handi Kabab Corner. I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment and I must say that the food was amazing! The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made me feel welcome and relaxed. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. As for the food, I was blown away by the variety of dishes available on the menu. I ordered Jeera Rice, Bhindi Fry, Daal Fry, Paneer Masala, Chole Bhature, and Chaas. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted delicious. The Jeera Rice was fluffy and had the perfect balance of spices, while the Bhindi Fry was crispy and flavorful. The Daal Fry was rich and creamy, and the Paneer Masala was bursting with flavor. The Chole Bhature was a standout dish, with the Bhature being fluffy and the Chole cooked to perfection. The Chaas was a refreshing drink that complemented the meal well. Overall, I highly recommend Handi Kabab Corner to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and I can't wait to visit again soon. Thank you, Handi Kabab Corner, for a memorable dining experience!

We ordered the chicken seekh kabab and the yummy mutton shikari dish We ended up having the mutton shikari dish twice and getting a parcel of the chicken shikari version as well It should be their speciality as it is very tasty. Must try!

Restaurant is nice. You can get authentic veg and non-veg Rajasthani cuisine at best price. Moreover, the taste, smell and flavour of dishes are good. It's also very close to the fort. Staff and their services are also good.

Favorite meal in Rajasthan!! Had a wonderful meal with friends at this restaurant. The traditional local food is delicious, very reasonably priced and great service, nice ambiance but most importantly, the food was incredible. Please do visit! A lovely place that feels authentic and charming.

Fast food restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Nestled near Fort Road in Manek Chowk, Jaisalmer, Fateh Chand Deewanchand Kachori Wala is a culinary gem that every street food enthusiast must experience. Established in the 1970s, this beloved eatery specializes in crispy kachoris bursting with spiced potatoes, peas, and lentils. Arriving early is essential; by 8:15 AM, you'll find eager patrons lining up to savor these delectable treats fresh from the frying pan.
It seems to be THE PLACE TO HAVE KACHORI at jaisalmer. Ask any local and they'll guide u this place only. Overall taste was decent not groundbreaking but still deserves 5 star. Read full review for explanation if u have time. A small street vendor but with a huge heart! Eat first, pay later ONLY IF U LIKED THE FOOD and if u want. They won't ask u for money by themselves. U ask and they'll tell u. 35rs for a plate if 2 kachoris. Customise as per ur need with garnishing like onion, green chilli chutneys. Green chutney available with and without onion garlic. Coming to taste, they were decent. Nothing exciting or out of the world. But the experience was different seeing how they work purely on trust.! Highly crowded at all times, wait times 10-30 mins average... Be prepared to stand with patience as they won't treat u out of turn howsoever big an order u got to place. Opens at 6am and winds up around 12-12.30pm depending upon sale. U can carry kachoris to home place and they guarantee 5-7 days shelf life for the kachori. But if u get them packed then they won't pack chutneys. U got to have them with curd and salt as per the owner (haven't tried it though).

Most famous Kachori at Jaisalmer! The taste was average but the owner attitude was great, remembering people who stood 1st and asking money after eating kachori only.

Visited Nov 2023. Came here mainly because it's close to the fort entrance and because almost every video on Jaisalmer mentions this place :-) Wasn't disappointed, quite tasty and always fresh. Wish there was some sort of seating. Served with quite a few condiments - the locals take a kachori and add them to their taste. Has a unique system : order, eat and (only) if you are satisfied pay! Crowded. See attached pics.

Best in Jaisalmer. They have number system for orders and you pay when you’re done eating. Taste is amazing and is a must have. It starts from early morning and sells till 12 noon.

Best Dal Kachori and Bread pakore here. If you're in Jaisalmer this is must try place. But be Ready to wait for minimum 30 mins for Dal Kachori and 10 - 15 mins for bread pakoras. Must go as early as possible for bread pakoras as it is very limited.

Yummy kachori @15 rs. Don't miss when visiting Jaisalmer. Lot's of crowd - locals+travellers. No other kachori shop as crowded as this one. Kachori size is medium and taste is mild. You can easily have 5-6 of these in lieu of lunch. They are filling and tasty. I carried few while visiting Sam Desert and enjoyed it at Desert. We don't get this kind of delicious snack at Mumbai or my 2nd home USA!!

Ask anyone in Jaisalmer ki kachori kaha se try kare to everyone one will give you one answer only - Fateh ki Kachori We had to wait for around 40 minutes to get this kachori. The kachori was crisp and really flavourful. The chutney and mirche ki tapori was going really very well with the kachori. ₹30 for 2 kachori can be considered a good enough deal. Waiting time is a bit long. But should totally be given a try for the taste !

Go to this place early morning and you’ll witness hot kachoris being fried in a big kadhai! It’s 8:15 in the morning and there’s a queue of people even before 1st plate is served. Such is the popularity of the place even among locals. Once ready, the current generation of owners will serve a hot and khasta kachori, with some sweet tamarind chutney along with a Rajasthan spec non spicy whole green chili chutney. The overall dish at breakfast time is just heavenly. Strongly recommended 👍🏻

The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it an ideal place to unwind or catch up with friends.
positive and negative aspects of the establishment. It should be specific, providing details about the food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience. For a positive review, focus on the enjoyable aspects and the cafe's strengths. For a mixed or negative review, address both the positive points and the areas for improvement, offering constructive feedback. Positive Review Example: "The Book Cafe is a fantastic place! The location is perfect for a coffee break, and the music is soothing. The coffee is delicious, and I love the cozy atmosphere. The service is excellent, and it's a great spot to read or chat with friends. I'm already planning my next visit!" Mixed Review Example: "The cafe+ is a unique and creative space with a great design, especially using recycled materials. However, the service can be slow, and while the pasta was good, it wasn't up to my expectations. Overall, it's a cool place to visit, especially for the ambiance and design, but be prepared for a slower pace." Negative Review Example: "While the staff at Good Food Cafe was polite, I found the seating uncomfortable and the food average. The packing containers for takeaway were also shoddy. I wouldn't recommend this place." Key Elements of a Good Cafe Review: Food Quality: Describe the taste, presentation, and freshness of the food and drinks. Service: Mention the speed and attentiveness of the staff. Ambiance: Detail the cafe's atmosphere, including decor, music, and overall vibe. Overall Experience: Summarize your feelings and whether you would recommend the cafe. Specificity: Provide details about specific dishes, drinks, or experiences. Tips for Writing a Cafe Review: Be honest: Share your genuine thoughts and feelings. Be constructive: If you have negative feedback, offer suggestions for improvement. Be specific: Provide details about your experience. Be positive: Highlight the good aspects of the cafe. Be concise: Keep your review to a reasonable length.

"I'm extremely disappointed with cafe choco craze on Zomato. I ordered an ice cream, and when I opened the packet, I was shocked to see that the expiry and manufacturing dates were intentionally scratched off. This raises serious concerns about the product's safety and quality. As a customer, I expect basic standards of hygiene and transparency. Scratching off important information like expiry dates is not only irresponsible but also potentially hazardous. I'm appalled by the lack of accountability and carelessness displayed by ccc icecream . I strongly advise others to avoid ordering from this restaurant until they improve their quality control and customer safety standards. 1/5 stars."

I went here today with my friends and ordered french fries and cold coffee. The french fries were average but the cold coffee was very bad and inferior. It had a very strange smell and taste which was not good at all. There are many cafes in Jaisalmer that serve better cold coffee than this. I even complained to the owner but he did not find a solution. And most importantly they are giving free coffee for five star rating so you can understand logic behind ratings you are seing ….!!😅😅

Cafe Choco Craze – A Delightful Experience! I recently visited Cafe Choco Craze and had a fantastic experience! I tried their Schezwan Maggi, Special Pizza, and Mango Shake, and each item was absolutely delicious. The Schezwan Maggi had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, making it a treat for those who love a little kick in their food. The Special Pizza was loaded with toppings, had a crispy yet soft base, and was perfectly cheesy. To top it off, the Mango Shake was rich, creamy, and refreshing—just the right blend of sweetness and freshness. The ambiance of the café was cozy, and the service was quick and friendly. Overall, Cafe Choco Craze is a great place to enjoy tasty food at reasonable prices. Definitely worth visiting again!

The food was not good and fresh. Only the price of food is high but not the taste. The service by the staff was also not good. The place is nice and peaceful. Cold drinks is okay okay. Not satisfied. Hopefully there will be some change.
