Bakery
Cake shop
Peggy Ann Bakery, a beloved establishment in Huntsville, Alabama for over 60 years, is renowned for its delectable freshly baked cakes and an assortment of sweet treats. Their commitment to using only the finest and freshest ingredients has earned them a stellar reputation as one of Alabama's premier bakeries. Whether it's custom cakes for special events or their famous cookies that rival homemade ones, Peggy Ann Bakery consistently exceeds expectations.
The cake was absolutely stunning for my sister’s bachelorette party. All the girls took pictures of it and said how pretty it was. But then we cut into it and tried it and it was one of the best chocolate cakes ever. Far from dry! Peggy Ann’s is going to be my go to place for cakes in Huntsville.
Virginia S — Google review
We’ve been here 6 yrs and longing for a real genuine bakery and finally found Peggy Ann Bakery. Homemade honest baked goods unlike all the chains that claim homemade and at reasonable prices that make up the rest. Huntsville has single bakeries and the ones we’ve found ridiculous pricing the others claim homemade but just another chain. Thank you found by accident and worth it
G. — Google review
We have used Peggy Ann's for YEARS but their service and quality has consistently gone down. Both of my daughter's graduation cakes were ruined and when we opened the box to serve guests the cake had completely moved apart and it was as if someone had hosed off the icing. They blamed it on a temp issue but then had nothing to say when we explained they had been in the fridge the whole time up until dinner. When we called they promised a discount on our next order but then when we tried to use the discount they said the had no record of it and our correspondence plus too much time had passed and the discount expired (?)... Anyway, designs never look as promised, always an unexpected upcharge, and overall just inconsistent communication from managers which in our opinion reflects into the quality of the product. We used Peggy Ann's for the last time.

Wonderful Bakery with lots of delicious options, baked fresh daily. The Petit Fours are truly AMAZING, I mean AMAZING! I love everything I’ve had, the Creme Horns are a favorite as well, both Vanilla & Chocolate are yummy. Also hooked on their Smiley Face Cookie. My favorite Bakery in Huntsville. Get in early, they are popular.
Gina C — Google review
I only use Peggy Ann’s for anything I need from a bakery, cookies are amazing, anytime I have their cakes ppl ask me where I got it from because it is so delicious. They are so much better than a famous bakery chain. Trust me, you’ll love anything from Peggy Ann’s.
Terri H — Google review
I was extremely disappointed with my daughter's graduation cake. They did a good job with the decorations and design on the cake, but the cake itself was dry and crumbled a part when sliced. The taste was mid. I was so embarrassed when attempting to serve slices to our guests. I would not recommend this place for any specialty cakes requests.
Ron C — Google review
We ordered custom cookies for my mehendhi event at our home and they turned out AMAZING!! They turned out so colorful and pretty that we didn’t feel like eating them…. but we did and they were yummy!! It was such a small detail but a huge hit with our guests! Just look at these cookies!!!
Mounika K — Google review
I’m always pleased with their deserts. They are always very friendly and quick as well. They seem to have inconvenient store hours though. I’m never able to eat here bc they’re only open when I’m at work and then they close at 2 on Saturday.

Chocolate shop
Pizzelle's Confections is a must-visit spot in the area, offering beautifully crafted small-batch chocolates and decadent treats. The shop, located in Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, is known for its passion fruit marshmallows and small chocolate truffles that are like works of art. Visitors can indulge in a variety of goodies to take home or savor a luxurious hot cocoa during the winter months. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm of this confectionery destination.
What an adorable place to enjoy the most flavor-FULL confections in Huntsville if not the world?!!! There are no words to describe the burst of culinary extravagance that plays upon the tongue. Y'all got to give them a whirl. It's true that they are a bit expensive but it is all worth it... And give them 5 stars plus a like on my review to help me. Thank you and enjoy🥰
James N — Google review
The absolute best espresso martini you will ever have. A Huntsville staple with national recognition, Pizzelle’s is a must see for both locals and tourists. Handcrafted chocolate and cocktails, something here for everybody. Conveniently in the campus 805 area. Down the street from Stocehouse. Not far from I-565 and the parkway.
Andrew R — Google review
It was my first time here today and it was completely worth it. All the raving reviews are correct. Each confection is incredible. We did a tour and sampled their homemade marshmallow fluff and European buttercream. This place will knock your socks off. And the staff is exceptionally nice. When you see the work they put into their handmade chocolates and cakes… just trust me… you’ll understand everything about the place. Go get you a few chocolates, a little cake, a s’more. I brought home a bag of them.
Sheila J — Google review
Pizzelles is chocolate like you've never tasted before. Each piece is a beautifully crafted work of art with bold, unexpected flavors that surprise and delight. These aren't your typical chocolates—they're one-of-a-kind creations made with care, curiosity, and serious skill. If you're looking for something truly unique, Pizzelles delivers.
Kaitlynne H — Google review
Whether you’re looking for high end, handcrafted chocolates that you can’t find anywhere else, with decadent and creative fillings to give as a gift or looking for an indulgent treat for yourself, this is the place for you. The sisters who own this shop have a passion for chocolate that shows in their creations. From their individual chocolate masterpieces to their luxurious hot chocolate, every single item here is utterly masterful and an absolute delight. I’ve been going to Pizzelles Chocolates for 11 years now and in all that time not only have I never seen the quality ever decrease but I continue to be amazed by the quality, flavor and creativity of their amazing creations. My personal favourites are the hot chocolate with lavender marshmallows, the seventh street truffle and their bourbon caramels, but I highly recommend trying absolutely everything to try to find your own favourite! This shop is my absolutely favourite place in Huntsville and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. I’m constantly amazed when I mention it to people and they haven’t heard of it! It’s Huntsville’s best kept secret that needs to get out!
Jennifer D — Google review
This place is amazing!! The atmosphere, the service, the chocolate❤️. I got the Day-o which was their tribute to Beetlejuice. It was so good. Yes, the price is a little high BUT if you are familiar with high quality chocolates AND you can appreciate the expertise it takes to not only create these confection but the exquisite decorations on them, it is worth every penny. All of the chocolates are shiny (means they know how to properly temper chocolate) and the attention to detail is top notch.
Adena F — Google review
Apparently this place is rated the #1 chocolate shop in the US according to one news article. Of course we had to try a few pieces of chocolate from here. The chocolate is an art here. The flavors are super unique and something you can’t find in many other shops. The intriguing colors, textures and designs make eating them feel incredibly wrong. However what they don’t mention in the article is the price of their chocolates. We spent $15 for 4 beautiful, tiny, chocolate art pieces. My personal favorite was the steel magnolia and the goodbye earl. Delicious high quality chocolates at a steep price. You’re buying edible art.
Aliza B — Google review
If you are a connoisseur of fine candy then this is the place. It's not just the extraordinary flavor of these chocolates, it's also the designs and decorations on each piece. You almost don't want to eat it because they are so attractively done, but of course you will.

Restaurant
Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro is a charming establishment that prides itself on being Alabama's first gluten-free bakery and bistro. Located in a 1940s house, this classic setting offers a creative cafe menu featuring cookies, custom cakes, and breads. Whether it's for small gatherings or large special events like weddings, they provide nutritious and delicious options. In addition to their delectable baked goods, they also offer catering services for weddings as well as corporate and private events.
Mason Dixon was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding caterer and baker! Our menu was a dream: the pear Gorgonzola salad was fresh and flavorful, the chicken marsala with mushroom cream sauce was perfectly cooked, and the grilled salmon with pomegranate glaze was a standout dish. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and decadent, and the green beans almondine added the perfect touch of elegance to the meal. And the cake – wow! The chocolate peanut butter marble cake was both visually stunning and delicious, with every bite being a crowd-pleaser. The team at Mason Dixon was professional, organized, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They truly helped make our wedding day unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Gabrielle ( — Google review
Great place! They have amazing GF options and that it’s all GF makes us who have those dietary issues a safe place. The staff was friendly… not super welcoming and the place was clean!
J M — Google review
Mason Dixon did our wedding cake. The best gluten and dairy free cake I have ever tasted. They completed the design I wanted and even placed our dog figures on the cake. They also have a variety of cake stands you can rent. They made us feel welcome from the beginning and we loved the cake tasting process. I highly recommend to use them!
Brooke C — Google review
Everything is amazing here but the cake pops were a HIGHLIGHT! They also have a ton of fun cupcake flavours! The food here is great, but I would definitely come back for the desserts 😍
Hailey L — Google review
Mason Dixon Bakery and Bistro catered our wedding, and they were absolutely fantastic! Their professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility made everything so easy. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They went above and beyond, tailoring options even down to the ingredients and toppings. If you’re looking for a stress-free catering experience with a company that truly cares and delivers exceptional service, I highly recommend Mason Dixon Bakery and Bistro. They’ll make your event memorable and easy to enjoy!
Libby — Google review
Fantastic experience! We literally drove over an hour away to come here because It was a dye-free restaurant. It's really annoying having to ask about everything so we typically don't eat out very much. Highly recommend this place will definitely return when we are in the area!
Micah T — Google review
Mason Dixon was our caterer for our late summer wedding reception and we were so pleased! We were able to work with the team to select the best options for our reception size and menu, and the tasting appointment was so much fun! Donna made the extra trip to setup the day before (since we had our venue reserved for a day and a half). They provided the linens for the buffet tables, and could accommodate adding a customized coffee bar. We compared several catering options across Huntsville and Mason Dixon included the most service and selections (cloth napkins, paper and plastic products, staff to help clean and serve) and even plated our wedding cake for us after the cake cutting! The tax and gratuity were included in the quoted price so I did not have to worry about missing any costs. Donna thinks of everything including extra plasticware for the DJ and photographer, and made us a to-go box for my husband and I to enjoy later! Our guests gave great reviews of the food and everyone enjoyed dinner. I would definitely use Mason Dixon again! Note the photos are the day before (several staff served the buffet and the food was hot and generous servings during our reception).
Marie C — Google review
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mason Dixon Bakery! They did such a beautiful job with my wedding cake—it was absolutely stunning and tasted just as amazing as it looked. Rachel and Pepper went out of their way to accommodate my requests and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. You can truly tell how much care and attention to detail goes into everything they do. I am beyond grateful and couldn’t have imagined a better experience. Thank you, Mason Dixon, for being such a special part of our day!

The Chocolate Crocodile, located at the upscale Bridge Street Town Centre, is a paradise for chocolate enthusiasts. Their specialty lies in beautifully adorned chocolate apples with various drizzled flavors and toppings that are said to be divine. The store also offers patriotic caramel candy apples that are perfect for your next Instagram story. In addition to their delectable dipped apples, they offer an array of truffles and boxed chocolates that are simply irresistible.
The Chocolate Crocodile was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding! They made the most amazing fudge-dipped Oreos that were a huge hit with all of our guests. Not only were they beautifully presented, but they were also incredibly delicious – rich, chocolatey, and perfectly indulgent. The team was professional, friendly, and made the entire process so easy. They clearly take pride in their work, and it showed in the quality of the treats they provided. If you’re looking for something sweet and memorable for any event, I can’t recommend The Chocolate Crocodile enough! Thank you for helping make our wedding extra special!

One of the best places to stop in for a treat that won't break the bank but still high quality. Definitely one of my favorite places to stop in on Bridge Street.

I went yesterday to get some Red Candy Apples. They were very good. I will be back for some more really soon.

We love Chocolate Crocodile!! They are so amazing!!!! We are big fans of the fudge (with or without nuts), the claws, the truffles, and the peanut brittle!!! So so yummy!!!!! The apple pie apple is our favorite, but the others are terrific too!! We are going to try it all!!! We order online and get it delivered to the house!!! Can’t wait for the next shipment!!!

This past weekend I was able to check out this awesome place. The name alone got me to walk in and then I saw candy apples galore. They had all types of candy apples and it's too many to name but I ended up getting the Snickers Candy Apple and yall it was so good! They even slice it for you to make it easier for you to eat. They also had other things there like all different types of fudge, chocolate coated gram crackers, pretzels, and more! It would have made it even better if they had brownies to but I'm not complaining. I highly recommend people go check this place out and get just as excited as I was!
LaDarrius Y — Google review
The very first apple I tried was the blue raspberrycotton candy one and to this day it is still my favorite!!!! I live in Cullman, Alabama which is about a hour south of Huntsville, and been known to take a little drive just for an apple!!! Yes, they are that good!!! I am still upset about Pieology being shut down which use to be across from The Chocolate Crocodile
Johnathan B — Google review
Everytime we are in Huntsville my daughter asks us to stop by Chocolate Crocodile. She says it's her favorite spot on earth. They have a variety of goodies, but it seems a little pricey. Still recommended

Edgar's Bakery is a renowned establishment known for its delectable cakes, pastries, and breakfast items. From Martigras Cakes to muffins, the bakery offers a wide array of sweet treats that are hard to resist. In addition to their famous baked goods, they also serve an impressive breakfast and lunch menu featuring dishes like Eggacado Sandwiches, omelets, breakfast quesadillas, and pimento cheese biscuits.
I've ordered several cakes from Edgar's, and they are all wonderful every time. I just got a Sundae Cake today, and it was delicious! Their cakes are always so moist. If you ever get the chance to try an Edgar's cake, definitely do it!!

Love this place, lots of grab and go options and seating inside. I have gotten some pastries to go before but this was the first time I ate in and I was glad that we decided to meet here for breakfast. It was a quiet place for conversation, good service, and great food. The spicy eggacado was crisp and buttery on the outside. The cheesy grits had good flavor and texture, but also very filling. Coffee was also good. Would definitely come here again.
Nom N — Google review
This place has wonderful sweet treats! We only pop in on occasion to get the lemon squares which are a perfect ooey gooey balance between sweet and tart. We also get their chocolate chip cookies which are a delightful mix of soft and chewy. A few times I got my husband the cheesecake and the large cinnamon roll, which puts Cinnabon to shame, and my daughter the banana nut muffin which she raved about for days. They loved each one and said their sweet treats were the best they had of that kind. I've also tried the Classic chicken salad which is pretty good. If you want more of a sweeter undertone in your chicken salad, I'm told their Southern chicken salad would hit the spot. Definitely recommend trying them out.
Christyl B — Google review
Delicious, I will be visiting every time I'm in Huntsville. The pepper slawand chicken salad is absolutely amazing . Moist cupcakes and the most delicious chocolate buttercream I have ever had. I did have one thing I didn't like ,I ordered a carrot cake for my sisters birthday the cake is good but wasn't a traditional carrot cake taste , the cake was more cinnamon flavored, and the icing did not have a hint of cream cheese but still good just wasn't a traditional carrot cake taste . Everything else is absolutely amazing the Hot sticky bun omg !!! 🤤🤤🤤 This is a must visit landmark.

Another fantastic restaurant, and this one includes a bakery! My grandkid introduced me to this place, and my only problem this place? There is not one in Oklahoma! Great sandwiches, and deserts! When you are in Huntsville you have to try this place! Wow. Im giving a 4 star rating on the atmosphere due to the room temperature being quite warm. Other than that; Wow!
Rodney A — Google review
Love the atmosphere, not impressed with the products. It's like a bakery for people who don't know what a real bakery is. I've tried several baked items since they opened, and everything was average, or below average, and nothing special. There are other bakeries, like L'Etoille, in town that make quality products. I was at Edgar's today at lunch time and asked what the brown cake was in the display case, as the sign was missing. The employee didn't know, so she brought over another employee, and she didn't know either. They both looked at me and said they didn't know (seriously?!... It's not like you have so many cakes that you can't remember them all. There are actually very few cakes for sale.). Then one reluctantly offered to go ask somebody in the back. It was turtle. What is a turtle cake? She looked at me like I should have known, at which point I gave up. I bought a jalapeno cheddar bread loaf. I also got a warm honey maple cinnamon roll and it was dry in the middle and so hard on the bottom that I wasn't able to cut it. I tried to eat it there at the table but had to take it home and use a steak knife. And the employee cut it right out of the pan and put in a box for me, but apparently it had been sitting around while since it was hard. If you want a good bakery, this is not it. Please visit other bakeries in town and you will see much better products and service.
Diana R — Google review
It is one of those restaurants that you wait on line to order your food & they bring it to your table. The ladies you order from were very pleasant. They helped me come up with a delicious latte to order. Breakfast is available until 10:00 am Monday-Friday & 2:00 pm on Saturday. The food came out to the table pretty quick. I got the breakfast holdon ( I think that was what it was called. It was delicious. We were 6 in our party & everyone thought their food was really good. The lady across from me alsaud the chicken salad was wonderful.
Sandy K — Google review
Me and granddaughter went in for a cupcake (for a sugar craving) she was overwhelmed by all of the choices- instead of 2 cupcakes we ended up doing a cupcake taste testing!! She loved it and we will definitely be back - want to go back and get one of their sandwiches and/or salads. Very reasonable and was super tasty!!!

Cafe
Good Company Cafe is a charming cafe in Huntsville, owned by Angela Ozbolt and Molly Jones, both trained at Johnson & Wales University. The cafe offers a blend of Southern, European, and Middle Eastern influences in its culinary offerings. In addition to serving delightful breakfasts and lunches, the cafe also provides full-service wedding catering with endless kindness.
The carbs are certainly delicious! We enjoyed the unique localness of this cafe, and also took some things home. My daughter with particular taste didn’t like the egg sandwich she first ordered and opted instead for the kids grilled cheese. Most offerings are temptingly high in carbs/sugar. I went with the veggie frittata, which is also served with bread, and a delightfully sweetened butter. But that’s par for the foods that are popular for the customer base in this region. The bakery items smell wonderful and are sharable-sized. Encountered two of my pet peeves this visit —one is being hit with a waft of marijuana just outside the door (but that’s outside of the restaurant’s control), the other is old fruit. If a place can’t offer good fruit that is still crisp (freshly washed and cut that day), don’t offer it at all. There are other options that keep better and require less prep. Fruits are expensive and you can imagine they were sooo good when they were freshly washed—so it feels like an unfortunate slight against Mother Nature when served last night’s soft blueberries, waterlogged grapes, and rubbery watermelon; it just goes to the waste bin.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that serves food made with love and care, Good Company is the place to be. Their dishes are nothing short of delicious, and you can truly taste the effort and passion that goes into every bite. I’d happily make the drive across the city from my workplace just to enjoy one of their incredible sandwiches for lunch—they’re that good! Their special this week was amazing! The customer service is equally outstanding. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your dining experience memorable. I've also heard that it's a fantastic place to work, with management that truly values and supports their team members. It’s heartwarming to know that their care for people extends beyond just their customers. Definitely recommended!

First time here and our new favorite. Lovely surroundings, very charming. Friendly and timely staff. We had best latte ever and breakfast biscuits on a whole other level. Can’t wait to try our next meal here. Check them out online. Interesting story, awarded chef evident in the menu. Independent eatery a real cut above.

My husband went here today while I had a dress fitting, and he loved it! The atmosphere is great, after my fitting I went and sat with him while he ate his turkey sandwich and muffin! He loved it and it looked and smelled amazing, the food is not basic here which is awesome! His sandwich had some sort of pesto and apples on it, with a 9 grain bread! We will be back so I can try some of their goodies! Also the outdoor seating was nice and clean which is always great. The only thing that we would not recommend is the jolly rancher lemonade unless you LOVE sweet drinks I mean it was sooo sweet lol.

What a cute little place to come work, study, or grab a bite with friends! The menu is diverse and the food was so yummy. This little area is just super cute to come hang out with a friend and grab a bite. I got a cake and lemonade on a hot day for a snack, and will come back for more food for sure! Love this place!

This place is a true gem. It has everything you could want in a cute little café. I visited 4 other café/coffee shops in my week spent here and wasn’t impressed by any of them. But this place. You can tell it’s run by women 👏 vibes are on point. also, they make a flavored latte that isn’t way to sweet 🙌

The Best Café Experience in Huntsville! The Good Company truly lives up to its name! Their baked goods are simply wonderful—always fresh and full of flavor. The coffee is fantastic, easily some of the best I’ve had in town. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The customer service is always pleasant and attentive, making you feel right at home. And as if that weren’t enough, the food is even better! Overall, it’s the best all-around café experience in Huntsville. I can’t recommend it enough!

I had the chicken salad sandwich with the firecrackers (spicy oyster crackers). I thought the chicken salad was good although I would have liked less lettuce and thinner bread. The crackers were yummy. It was crowded and parking spaces were a little tight. I would like to come back and try some of their other sandwiches.

L'Etoile Patisserie is a family-owned French-style patisserie located in Huntsville, Alabama. The name translates to 'the star,' and it lives up to its name with handcrafted, high-quality pastries made fresh every morning by expert chefs.
Authentic baguette ( I was born in France) but quite expensive at $5.25. Bakery pastries good, but a noticeable absence of any fruit or marmalade. Very crowded on a Saturday morning with line snaking among the tables. I do recommended researching the least crowded times, but I will continue to frequent this place. I wish they had a greater variety of breads.
Ed P — Google review
These are some of the best croissants I’ve ever had. Their pastry dough is so flaky, you will notice hundreds of layers in every bite. There’s a large variety of menu options; it’s hard to try it all in one visit so I will definitely be coming back for more. The owners and chefs are all super nice and have great recommendations. I highly recommend trying whatever they tell you their favorite menu item is; you won’t regret it.
Zach H — Google review
Could have been five star for the pastries alone. probably some of the best I’ve had. Super fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. The place itself is cozy and has a nice vibe. Coffee a bit over-extracted though. Staff could definitely be friendlier. Not rude, just kind of cold 😅 Still, the food makes up for it, and I’d totally go back for the pastries alone.
Jaez M — Google review
Been here a handful of times since they opened. Way too crowded on Saturday. I ordered a plain and chocolate croissant. Today it had the texture as if it had been sitting around for a day or so and had become stale. My daughter had brought home a chocolate croissant a few weeks back (on a week day) and it was buttery, flakey, and delicious so I’m sure they know what they are doing, I just get the impression they get slammed on Saturday and bake off bunches leading up to Saturday. Not sure I’ll be going back, not enough seating, too loud, and inconsistent and expensive.

In love with this bakery!🤎🥐 Best pastries in Huntsville — fresh, and full of flavor. The place is super cute with a real French vibe, and the chef always greets you personally. A true gem!

Delicious croissants and very chic cafe space. Indoor & outdoor seating available. The building with the patisserie, Holtz leather, and home goods shop has a pass through hallway towards the back.

L'Etoile Patisserie is a little slice of Paris right here in Huntsville. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm aroma of fresh-baked pastries lined up like works of art. Their coffee is just as impressive, smooth and rich, pairing perfectly with any pastry you choose. I spring for the Latte! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, taking the time to explain flavors and make thoughtful recommendations. The atmosphere is bright, elegant, and inviting—perfect for a morning treat, an afternoon pick-me-up, or impressing out-of-town guests. If you love authentic French baking or simply appreciate food crafted with care and skill, L’Etoile Patisserie is a must-visit. This is hands-down one of the best spots.

This is one of the only places in town you can get a proper flat white (coffee). Also, non-burnt espresso! The staff is super nice and willing to accommodate you. The last time I was there, they gave me four extra pastries - I think because they didn’t want to throw them out, they were going to close soon. Either way, I appreciated the generosity and dedication to avoiding food waste! The almond croissants are absolutely delicious as well.

The menu features classic Cajun dishes made with unique ingredients, as well as inventive brunch options like sizzling bacon, Eggs Benedict, and Cinnamon Apple French Toast. The restaurant captures the spirit of a Bourbon Street party while infusing a touch of sophistication into the dining experience.
We had an amazing experience at Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill! Everything was absolutely delicious, right down to the sweet tea. The customer service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was flavorful and authentic, giving us that true Cajun New Orleans vibe that made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. We loved it so much that we went back the very next day to try more from the menu. The crab claws were incredibly fresh and full of flavor—definitely a must-try! If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a vibrant atmosphere, Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill is the place to be. Highly recommend

Had a great experience at Cajun Steamer. I ordered 2 lbs of the crawfish boil and the Redfish Rockefeller. The crawfish were fresh, well-cleaned, and seasoned nicely. Some of the best I’ve had recently. The redfish rockefeller was excellent, especially paired with the creamy bacon sauce and mashed potatoes. I went with people who used to live in New Orleans, and they said it tasted surprisingly authentic.

We stopped in for a girls' day out and had Emily as our server—she was awesome! Super friendly, easygoing, and just had a great vibe. She made us feel right at home and was on top of everything without being too much. Gave us some solid food and drink recs (which were all 🔥), and just added to the fun, laid-back feel of the day. Honestly, she made the whole experience even better. If you're heading in with friends, definitely hope you get Emily!

The food was really good! Just a tad warning to those from Louisiana, the food isnt full of the Cajun Spice your looking for. Besides that the service was great the atmosphere is great as well. Just slightly disappointed in the seasoning of dishes but for a resturant thats not physically in Louisiana its understandable that it is lacking.

This restaurant was amazing! We were greeted almost immediately with no wait time, which was such a nice surprise. We were just passing through from out of town, and we’re so glad we stopped here. The shop's diverse menu includes unconventional options like pineapple jalapeno alongside more traditional choices like strawberry. Customers appreciate the exceptional customer service and the cozy atmosphere with Alabama-themed murals adorning the walls.
Such a cool and trendy place. I got the peanut butter pop dipped in milk chocolate with almonds and it was so good. I thought the popsicle would be super hard but it wasn't. They also do like birthdays and weddings which I thought was neat!
Jessica E — Google review
The pops here are a good treat. Definitely different from what you hey in the freezer section at the grocery store. I think $4 is way overpriced, but for the occasional treat they're okay. Pro life tip, the Steel City Pops inside Lowe Mill are only $3 and they have a little bigger variety.
Dave J — Google review
Overpriced, super icy pops. Visited on 5/31/21 and the poor kid working said it was his 3rd day to another customer that was maybe a friend. He looked like the only one there. The AC also must have been out, because it was miserable inside. We got an orange dream float, which was ok at best and a strawberry pop with a waffle cone. We wanted it dipped, but we’re told it wasn’t available. Both pops were more icy than creamy, even though we picked from the creamery side of the menu. Overall, the pops from the grocery store would have been just as satisfying. What a bummer.

Kind, knowledgeable, helpful customer service and pops that are divine in both flavor, presentation, and consistency. Also, I'm super impressed that Christmas decorations consist of the manger scene and that ornaments such as the word, "blessed" was on display. Definitely recommend!

Nestled in Huntsville, the Dallas Mill Deli pays homage to the historic Dallas Mill, which was a cornerstone of the community back in 1892. Since its opening in 2006, this charming deli has become a beloved local spot where visitors can enjoy an array of delicious offerings including mouthwatering burgers, hearty sandwiches, and fresh wraps. The menu caters to various dietary preferences with vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
If you love homemade goodness, you'll go here. Beautiful location with a lot of history. Very quaint and relaxing shop much like you'd expect in France. With a huge variety of sandwiches and a desert, you have to try. I'll start with the strawberry pretzel pie. What is that, you ask? Well, you'll have to go find out. You'll love it! I also had a club. The meat is so fresh and crispy vegetables it's like they came from a local farmers market. Maybe they did, I don't know. But even the sandwiches were fantastic. The staff are like your friends with a big warm greeting. Very helpful in deciding what to order when there are so many wonderful choices. The location is nice enough for a quiet first date, a family dinner, a business lunch... etc. It has that nice calming feel just being there. Like the craziness of the world just went on hold. Cool spot. I like it. Wonderful ladies just add to it's wonderfullness. Yup, I made that word up for a place like no other. Locally owned, give them some support. You can thank me later.

Quick: Clean restaurant, nice staff, good food, average prices Review: This is located right off 565 next to the Habitat Store and is a nice, quaint little place. The inside is very "deli" and the staff inside was very nice and answered all our questions. The food was delicious but was averaged/higher price. I can understand this though as its a small run business and the food is fresh. I had the BLT on a Pretzel bun and it was very tasty. They do have drink control with Fresh Iced tea which is a big plus in my book (as most people most likely). Asks: I did want to try the Strawberry Pretzel dessert but thought it was a little pricey for the size that you get. It was one small square located in a larger plastic. I feel that the price point for this should have been around $2.00 for what you get. Loved this place though!

Customers rave about the wide selection of flavors, with favorites including coconut pineapple, key lime pie, blueberry cheesecake, and horchata.
The small waffle cone ice cream was delicious, and the portion size was surprisingly large—making me curious about just how big the large must be! The ice cream was not only tasty but also generously priced, offering great value for the quality and amount you get.

Omg. This place is so good everyone got something different and we all had to try each others ice cream and let’s just say there wasn’t any that was a disappointment. Myself I am extremely partial to the cotton candy though. The pic is from my granddaughter Kayleigh with her Rocky Road that was very good as well

Handels is an awesome gem of Huntsville! Cute ice cream parlor in the middle of the hustle and bustle! Lots of parking! Walk up service, benches to wait, no shade, long lines if you go at night, but worth the wait! Servings are generous, tons of flavors - all amazing, and pricing is way better than any other competitor (I’m looking at you - DQ and Baskin!)

Large selection of flavors, with sugar free options as well. Flavors are DELICIOUS and don't taste artificial. The service is superior. The 2 girls that helped us were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They answered all of our questions and were very attentive. The line moved pretty fast even though it's always packed so don't let that deter you. It's worth the wait!!

I got the salted Carmel and didn’t like it but I should have tried it first. My daughter liked that flavor. I chalk it up to personal preference but I could tell the quality was high. My wife liked what she ordered. This place has a lot of flavors and the others I’ve had were excellent. There is always a long line but the ice cream is worth the wait. My wife asked for hot fudge AFTER we paid and the kid hooked her up and didn’t charge us. I tipped well accordingly. This place is NOT cheap but when you leaned you feel you got what you paid for. I’d definitely come back.

I love their ice cream, but the business needs to make some serious updates. I am seven months pregnant, and I stood in line for twenty minutes in the hot sun for them to tell me that they do not accept tap and pay. It would have been nice for there at least to be a sign on the window saying so. Also, it is ridiculous for there to only be two employees working the stand.

Although the froyo is delicious, the staff at least today was absolutely terrible, don't like people don't work there or anywhere for that matter, I know being on the phone on Twitter and Facebook is important but if you kept your stuff stocked you wouldn't have to stop playing on your phone! Around 3:30pm today 5-28-2025 there was no bananas in the container easy fix i am limited to what I can and cannot have, my mother in law asked nicely if they would mind to restock the bananas the girl rolled her eyes and said "well.... I guess I can cut some" very rude its your job why come off that way. Poor poor staff.

Lots of topping & syrup choices and a great "happy hour" (28 oz. cup for $8). They have several non-dairy options, which I appreciate since I have a family member who can't have dairy. Was so very disappointed my 1st time there last night … I arrived at 10 till 8pm there were 2 guys standing behind the counter. 1 not sure where he went and 1 making customers orders, there were 4 people in front of me when I arrived and soon after there were 4 behind me… The 2nd guy came back and took over telling the other employee to go ahead and clean the bathrooms and get ready to close… A few minutes later there were 10 people waiting behind me.. I ask the guy why he sent the other employee to go clean the bathroom with so many people waiting??? He said “ I like to go ahead and get things done early since we close at 9pm” Wait, WHAT!!! I said “there are now 3 people in front of me and 11 people behind me and you don’t think he should be up here helping get these customers waited on so WE DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOREVER!?!?!?” He said nothing… I ended up waiting for 25 mins and when I left he was still the only 1 waiting on customers… He had 0 concern about his CUSTOMERS WAIT TIME!!! I will not be back!!!!

Got there at 7 and left at almost 8 bc we were waiting so long on our orders to be placed, ended up watching a worker make her ice cream before she clocked out, while only one worker was making and taking orders, and by the time i got my order the rest of my family was already done eating. It took about 15 miniutes to make one ice cream

Went in for a treat and ordered a pint of German chocolate cake... waited 10 min for the girl to take my order then watched as she put the same amount of caramel for a like it size into a pints worth of ice cream.. then when I asked her for more she said she could put more but it would be extra... okaaaay . Then she put one tiny little scoop of pecans..Just like the like it size recipe calls for and one little brownie.. when I stated that there is 4x as much ice cream and the mix ins should reflect that she stated she was following the recipe and it doesn't differ from size to size and acted very untrained or knowledgeable like she was new, but she was the only one there. After I realized I would have to pay almost double to get a pints worth of mix ins I left! She was unhelpful and very dismissive.

The Moon Bakeshop, owned by Thom and Maddie Watkins, is a delightful fusion of European bakery and Southern kitchen. Located in downtown Huntsville, this charming bakery offers an array of delectable treats such as house-made croissants that are meticulously prepared over three days, frosted cupcakes, cinnamon buns, handmade cakes, pastries both sweet and savory, breads, muffins, cookies, and breakfast sandwiches.
Ran across this place while exploring the downtown area in the morning and we were so glad we did. Had quite the line but it moves quickly. They have everything displayed nicely as you wait. Everything looked amazing so we got a few things to try and bring back to the hotel. Apologies for the imperfect picture some people couldn’t wait to try them before I could get a good pic. Everything was fantastic, the muffin used fresh blueberries, the cookie was crispy outside but soft and chewy inside, the chocolate croissant was good, loved the scone. It was the perfect texture, even my husband enjoyed it and he’s usually not a fan. The cruffin was the best. I don’t normally like cream filling but this one was really light and perfectly balanced with the cinnamon flavor. Seems to be what they’re known for and definitely didn’t disappoint. Certainly worth the time to stop if you’re in town or live nearby.

Cute local spot! Brought my friend that visited from out of town and she LOVED the place. We did order a bunch of different items to try out. The savory Danish was a tad salter than we prefer, but it was still super delicious. My friend ordered a breakfast croissant and devoured it entirely (didn't expect to). The chocolate chip cookie was perfect snd the lemon blueberry cookie was light and refreshing. She enjoyed her Beach Bum coffee, and I enjoyed every sip of my vanilla latte! The cruffin was soooooo yummy: the filling was not too sweet and was supper light! I love this place!

A coworker brought Earl Grey Cupcakes with Lavender Buttercream to work this am. I decided to visit for lunch. Was good, not too pricey. $15 for oatmilk latte and Ham Havarti Croissant (17.50 after tip). Took 13 minutes for sandwich, maybe 5 min for coffee. Coffee is nice, bold flavor. Sandwich was good. Nice for a treat day! Wish it had better parking.

We picked this one bakery, based on reviews, for our breakfast stop before leaving town, and they did not disappoint! We got the daily cruffin, which was oreo cheesecake, two scones in bacon cheddar and honey cinnamon, a fudgey peanut butter dollop thing, and Americano to share. The cruffin was delightful, more like a cream puff filled with pastry cream and topped woth buttercream. No cream cheese flavor, which I like, but just soft and crispy at the same time. The scones were more like butter biscuits, not like typical dry brittle hockey pucks. Easy to eat in or take out, like on the way yo Cathedral Caverns, as you can see the cruffin cameo here. Easy parking, paid street parking $1 per 2 hours with meters that still take coins and a shared side lot with paid parking M-F. Do yourself a favor and stop by, now and frequently when you can!

I LOVE their egg sandwich! While pregnant, it was one of my constant cravings, and still always my go-to order now! They get very crowded on the weekend, so if you order it, you will have to wait a little while for them to make it, but it's worth the wait! Pro tip: eat the sandwich upside down so all the seasoning on top of the focaccia touches your taste buds!

SUCH A GEM! I absolutely love The Moon Bakeshop. The people who work at the shop are so sweet and welcoming. Love going on mama/daughter dates here with my toddler. Their homemade coffee syrups are incredible and the current seasonal salted rosemary chai is so good! Looking forward to their pies around the holidays.

Beware the line on Saturday morning!! This place was packed, and for good reason. My latte was delicious and I was pleased to have a gluten free option. I really enjoyed the gf power bar but wasn’t a huge fan of the gf peanut butter cookie. They did change their gloves without me asking, but the gf treats are in the same area with normal treats, just as a heads up for the celiac crowd.

Stopped in while we were driving through town and glad we did. Everything we ordered was excellent and the staff could not have been more friendly. The bacon scone was on point and the blueberry muffin was simply amazing. The breakfast sandwich was perfect. If we are anywhere near, we will be back.

Oscar Moon's Milkshake Bar, located at the popular dining and entertainment hub Stovehouse in Huntsville, offers a delightful experience reminiscent of a vintage diner. The bar serves hand-spun milkshakes, craft sodas, floats, and sundaes made with high-quality ingredients such as Ghirardelli chocolate and Blue Bell ice cream. The antique decor and throwback barstools create a nostalgic ambiance that transports visitors back in time.
This place is simply AMAZING!!! I got the Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie (I asked for white chocolate instead). The server was kind and gave me the “have it your way” type of luxury! The milkshake was a 10/10! Would reccomend!

Have you ever experienced milk shakes before? The answer is no until you come to Oscar moons. They are the real deal and all the options are delicious.

The milkshakes and floats are good. The customer service needs serious attention. There wasn’t any greeting (even though we were literally right in front of them) and dry responses to our questions. My family raved about their previous experience at Oscar Moon’s so I was really looking forward to enjoying my first visit to this establishment. Unfortunately, I did not have the same positive experience.

Very cute and quaint place. A little pricey but a great place to try with unique milkshake options. Highly recommend you check it out if you are in the are and love milkshakes

Omg first time coming here and got the bourbon chocolate pecan pie shake. Oh wow!!!! Delicious. My new fave shake place.

Our son lives in the area and every time we visit, we stop by for a milkshake, usually the chocolate horsejackery. Their milkshakes are consistently good and I like the fact they’re willing to split them into two separate cups so my husband and I can share one. The servers are usually friendly and the entire area is a fun environment.

Nestled among the shops of Bridge Street Town Centre, this charming pastry shop is known for its friendly service and exceptional treats.
great friendly service and nice atmosphere. pumpkin spice danish was tasty and peppermint coffee was good. Macarons were okay, not as soft as I'd like

We are here yesterday and loved it! I had the strawberry and vanilla gelato, my partner had the chocolate and strawberry gelato and all were very good! We also tried the banana chocolate macaron and the raspberry macaron , both were good and soft inside! We haven’t had good luck with having macarons in the states but these were pretty good! The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable about allergy’s! Inside the building was clean and its located in a great area!

"COMPLIMENTS!" On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, I stopped by Le Macaron French Pastries in Bridge Street Town Center for dessert. Le Macaron is a very upscale establishment, beautifully decorated in a very "Parisian "design scheme. I sampled many of their gelato and sorbet offerings, but I finally decided on three scoops in a cup (two scoops of mango sorbet, and one scoop of pistachio gelato). (I also really liked the almond macarons gelato that I sampled.) My dessert there was very good. I'll definitely be returning to Le Macaron French Pastries in Bridge Street Town Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Compliments! 👍 👍 G. Curtis Monday, June 24, 2024

My 2 favorite coffee makers: Lillian and Lynn. They make their coffee with care and it’s delicious. They are always friendly and make you feel welcome. The owners are also wonderful and treat customers like family. Their food is delicious as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Cute pastry shop. Friendly and helpful service with great macarons. Pictured, from top left, clockwise: salted caramel, chocolate pistachio, tiramisu was especially good, coffee, and vanilla. Not pictured, red velvet (it got eaten before the camera came out).

Le Macaron is quite the fancy desert place and the prices might seem a bit high, but you get what you pay for, and I gotta say the Chocolate Caramel Espresso Coffee Shake was absolutely delicious! Also the staff here were super friendly and helpful to me deciding which shake I wanted. Plus the wait to get my shake wasn’t long either. Can’t wait to come back here again and try some more of their delicious deserts.

Loved this place! Cute little cafe/pastry shop located in Bridge Street Town Center. They have a great variety of macron flavors and also a variety of other treats and goodies. My ONLY "complaint" I wish it had a bigger lobby area to hang out. The coffee was good too! ( I got an iced caramel latte made with half and half).

OMG, these are hands down the best macarons I ever had in my life. They are pricey but worth the splurge. The staff here is friendly, and you can taste the freshness of the macarons. The flavor profiles are second to none. You may have had a macaron or two but I dare you to experience a macaron at Le Macaron French Pastries, you will not regret it! I had Red Velvet, Madagascar Vanilla, and Salted Caramel. WOW!!!

Pizza restaurant
Ice cream shop
Sam & Greg's Pizzeria Gelateria in Huntsville has become a beloved fixture on the downtown courthouse square. The married couple behind this establishment, Greg and Sam Hathorn, transitioned from software development to crafting unique pizzas and gelatos. Their culinary focus is influenced by Sam's time abroad in Italy.
Incredible pizza place! The menu had something for each of us. Great place for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike to go out together! We enjoyed playing a round of mini golf while we waited for our food! Then we played again after we ate too! The decor is phenomenal. All of the metal tables and chairs outside are spray painted in fun colors and patterns. The front doors and windows are covered in local flyers to support other local businesses and activities. Inside the restaurant you're greeted with giant menus on the wall behind the register. The whole place has an industrial vibe to it. Every table has either vintage posters or pop culture incase in resin on top. The entire mini golf area is one giant mural of aliens and all of the paint glows under the blacklight. There are also local artists who come and sit down at the bar to draw!

We went in on a Tuesday around 5:30pm and it was pretty empty. Our pizzas came out in about 15 minutes. The pizza was good, but nothing that we are dying to come back and get anytime soon. I ordered the Key West and my husband ordered the Deluxe. For us, the veggies were not cooked long enough and still raw/crunchy. My Key West pizza was supposed to have chicken on it and I couldn’t find any. Maybe there was just so little of it that I couldn’t tell it was there. We did like the crust and the sauce. The crust wasn’t too thick or thin, it was right in between. It also had a nice crunch to it, but was still chewy. They have a small Putt-Putt setup upstairs which costs $3/person. This may be good for the little ones, but it’s a small area and tight, not making it great for adults imo. The atmosphere is kinda cool. They have lights with different colored bulbs in them, several were burned out though. They have several wrought iron outdoor tables and chairs for days with great weather. The indoor table tops have various different characters on them and some table have church pre type benches which weren’t very comfortable to me, so we moved to the table with chairs seating instead which was much better for my back. They have extremely large cans of tomatoes sitting each table which was kinda odd to us. I get it, it’s a pizza place and they were cans of tomatoes, but it still seemed to be an odd choice for decor. The employees were all pleasant. We have heard their gelato is fantastic, but we ate too much pizza and left no room for dessert. Maybe next time if we decide to go back.

What kind of place has a bar, and makes you get up and order everything at the register? Sat down at the bar for about 5 minutes, the guy next to us says I think you have to order at the register. Food might be great, I wouldn’t know because this is some kind of I’m too good to actually do the job of a restaurant employee place. Again, food might be great. I would not recommend this place for anyone that doesn’t want to order at a counter to have a restaurant experience.
Rob T — Google review
We met today with our daughter for lunch. I was impressed with the architectural design. They have Gelato case with so many varieties but we were so full after eating that we didn’t have room to try it. We ordered pita and hummus as appetizer. The hummus was so smooth and delicious. We forgot to ask if the pita bread was homemade because it tasted like homemade. We decided to order 4, 1 of them no meat, 10” specialty pizzas. The pizzas came out in less then 15 minutes and they were perfect!!! The dough is not to thick but not too thin, crunchy in the outside and the flavors of each one of them delicious. Don’t expect to be served tho. You place the order in the counter and they’ll give you the plates, cutlery and drink glasses and you seat wherever you want and serve yourself. It was great and we will be going back.
Lauren D — Google review
Pizza is pretty solid for the price. All food was served quickly and efficiently. I would not recommend the cheesy fries, they became a mass. I’ve also noticed that many of these tables are uneven and shake. The atmosphere here is very nice and lively, though. Also, there is a fee for the ranch.

The Yard Milkshake Bar, located in Town Madison, is gaining attention for its indulgent milkshakes served in mason jars. With 35 ice cream flavors and 50 toppings to choose from, customers can create their own extravagant treats. The milkshakes and sundaes are available in pint, quart, and half-gallon souvenir mason jars. Additionally, the bar offers gluten-free and vegan options.
We were first timers and we stated that, but weren’t really told how this place works. We shortly figured out that it’s a tad more expensive than your average ice cream parlor, but the portions are the size of a mason jar and you get to take the mason jar home. There is also a wash station inside for you to rinse your jar and head on home without the sticky mess traveling with you. We love how unique this place was and the ice cream was delicious! They also have a beautiful patio area to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

My review is a couple weeks late, because well life is busy. My sister and niece came in from out of state for the week and we saw this place and just had to try it out. We went on a Thursday so it was not busy at all. Skylar and Lauren were by far the best employees, very patient with us as we kept switching back and forth on what we wanted, giving us samples, making us laugh and making the best milkshake experience. The music was great and we even sang a little ’yard karaoke’ with some of the songs. My daughter didn’t want a big milkshake so she picked out the Cookies N Worms and they were able to make it into an ice cream cone, only a select few of the specialty milkshakes can be made into cones. I did the Brookie Batter but they were out of the fudgy brownie sundae ice cream so I substituted for the white chocolate marshmallow and it was really good. My sister got the Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss and my niece got The Unicorn, they were all delicious and will be sure to put you in a sugar coma. They have sinks you can wash your cups in at the end as well, so you’re not taking a sticky mess home with you or if you chose not to get the souvenir cup you can leave them there. We also got cookie dough pops to take home which were also pretty good. If you don’t like milkshakes they have a ton of ice cream flavors to choose from, you can get a bowl or cone. It’s definitely not an every weekend type of thing but we’ll definitely go again.

Had a great experience here today. Took my husband and kids for a late Father's Day celebration. We ordered the salted caramel cheesecake specialty bowl and my kids each got a few scoops of ice cream. We came as they opened so we were the only ones there. The ladies at the counter were friendly and patient with us as we decided. Our orders came right out but again we were the only ones there. Lovely patio area outside but it was too hot so we ate inside. Definitely a fun place to bring friends, family, and visitors for a unique treat.

Have come here serval times. They have very fun milkshakes, bowls and mason jar concoction! Always impressed with the quality of the ice cream and additional goodies they put into their product. We always leave happy and full. Fun or after a baseball game or post dinner treat.

Love it here! Super cute place, every time I’ve been it’s great customer service and the sweet treats are always spectacular!
Abbi F — Google review
Absolutely disappointed. I’ve been looking forward to coming here for a while, and it ended up borderline ruining my day. The vegan ice cream itself is just okay— and that’s putting it nicely. It clearly doesn’t get used very often because it was freezer burnt and had chunks of ice in it. I’ve literally gotten better dairy free ice cream at the grocery store. Not worth the price in my opinion either, but that’s not why I’m leaving a 1-star review. My rating is because they do not do honorable business. I came in specifically to use a gift card, only to be told they “changed point of sale systems” and would not honor it and personally I think that’s unacceptable. If you sell a gift card, you should stand by it, period. Do better!!
Kirsten B — Google review
This place is awesome. I would suggest you try the ice cream flight. You get four flavors of your choosing in a small cup and it's still a to of ice cream. KB, the manager, is super solid. She's sweet and outgoing and will not steer you wrong. We will definitely be returning.

Canadian Bakin is a popular bakery and cafe located in downtown Huntsville, AL. Despite its name, the owner, Matt Johnson, is not Canadian but has garnered a loyal following since starting at a local farmers market in 2017. The store offers handcrafted bread, bagels, and pretzels made from dough that cold-rises for 24 hours. Their menu features sandwiches and toasts with creative names like Lox and Loaded.
How do you rate such a Unique café? There should actually be more stars in the rating system for this place! The bagels and their combinations were outstanding and their service was fast and friendly! The decor was both cozy and vintage. This would be a regular place for me if I lived in Huntsville AL. We love this cozy coffee shop in downtown Huntsville, especially when it’s time for carbs. My go-to is the Q-Becco sandwich, which has bacon, egg, and cheese with caramelized onions. Try it on fresh-baked brioche or the sourdough. It’s a great place to catch up with a friend or meet a colleague and the service is top-notch.

A fantastic breakfast spot! First time where and I have no idea why I waited this long to come! Truly quality bagels, bread and drinks! A very cool atmosphere and good service! This will be mocked one of our new favorites in HSV!

Far and away the best coffee/bagel shop in Huntsville. It's always busy on the weekends but the wait is well worth it (the line goes out the door for a reason). My order always comes out promptly and as expected. If you're looking for a low-fat option, the Down Payment with a side of grapes or carrots is fantastic. Their monthly specials are always worth trying and have cute themes depending on the time of year. Aside from the food, the other thing that draws me here time and time again is the atmosphere. While some other coffee shops in town have leaned into a corporate environment at the expense of their soul, Canadian Bakin retains a "chaotic good" vibe that, in my opinion, is most of the fun of a coffee shop. The cartoons playing on the vintage TV, the ambient fantasy music, and the various plants with names on them make the place feel welcoming, quirky, and full of character. The staff know my name by now and even know to use my full name when it's busy so I can hear it more easily :)

Fine dining restaurant
Cotton Row is a renowned dining establishment located in an elegant three-story brick building from 1821. The restaurant offers modern American cuisine in an intimate and rustic space adorned with rough-hewn wood and brick, exuding true Southern hospitality. Chef Marc Taft, with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, brings his wealth of knowledge to the restaurant consulting, development, and management company behind Cotton Row.
I did [picking cotton] from - until I was 18 years old, that is. Then I picked the guitar, and I've been picking it since. ~Johnny Cash As much as flavor, texture, and taste are important to the experience of dining, it is context that makes a meal truly memorable. And my first dining experience at Cotton Row was memorable. The context seems to be comfortable industrial chic with a dash of Deep South elegance. I suspect the Cotton Row name gives homage to the restaurant's southern setting and southern culinary influences, although I didn't find the restaurant’s menu to be overtly southern. The Black Bass Meunière was subtle and sophisticated (buttered sweet corn risotto, black truffles, parsley & fennel salad). The Hot Honey Okra King Salmon (southern slaw, fried pickle, warm bacon & potato salad, comeback sauce) was beautifully presented, sophisticated, and delicious. It's culinary excellence through thoughtfulness, delicacy, and creaativity. My only little suggestion would be that they revisit their approach to Affogato, but I am Affogato bougie being just back from three weeks in Italy and Affogato at Vivoli in Florence, Italy, not Florence, Alabama. Swing Low, Sweet Chariot…. It'll make you wanna slap your Mama!

Amazing experience! Loved my seat at the bar; listening to the local convo and enjoying the warm atmosphere of this beautifully remodeled old bank. The metal safe door still sits on one of the back restaurant walls. My bartender and server was attentive and steered me in the right direction… the short ribs! Scrumptious! Loved the cheese grits! Great wine selection and the pear dessert was the perfect ending to this charming dinner full of flavor and fun historical facts about this charming city.
Marina W — Google review
My husband and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at the Huntsville Botanical Garden and chose Cotton Row as our dinner destination. Most of the reviews seemed positive so maybe we just chose an off night, but from getting seated to trying to pay the check it all seemed like such a burden to the staff. We were seated outside relatively quickly, but after that we were forgotten. Tristan was a nice guy, but once another table broke some glass he was almost entirely absent. You cannot substitute all the vegetables so be aware. If you’d like scalloped potatoes instead of parsnips I have bad news. It’s not going to happen. They did agree to carrots instead of grits though. The bread came after we asked 3 times and we were midway through our meals. Our food was good, but cold and mine was missing the mushrooms. The highlight was the fries which were supposed to be a side, but we were charged for the appetizer, but they were tasty. No water refills were ever offered. We had to ask another waiter for salt and pepper. Overall it was just a really underwhelming experience for a restaurant and that advertises as fine dining. I mean no one even wished us a happy anniversary. I cannot say I recommend Cotton Row and I don’t think we’ll be back.
Tammy P — Google review
Good old fashioned. Scallops were great, but chowder was well below expectations (100% tomato base flavoring with what seemed like a bit of mini frozen shrimp added). Would recommend the Fried Green Tomatoes with Cajun Shrimp and from The Martin Bar + Bistro (sports bar, almost dive bar feel), as opposed to the chowder from Cotton. One night in HSV, but my tasting preferences were clear. When in an atmosphere such as Cotton, you expect (and are paying for) perfection, and it didn’t live up. The fried green tomatoes and Cajun shrimp on the other hand well exceeded expectations.
Doug G — Google review
I was really impressed with Cotton Row. A beautiful little restaurant in the heart of downtown Huntsville. The atmosphere and decor was very cozy. The bartender fixed one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. The food was exceptional, and the service was outstanding. Pretty much can’t say any negatives about this place. If you’re in Huntsville, this is a definite go
Thomas P — Google review
I want to give 5 stars, but the surprise price of the entree vs. appetizer portion for scallops threw me for a loop. It was $22 for 2, but 3 was $44. I should have asked for the price difference, as I really originally wanted an appetizer.. but that's on me. YOLO 🤣🤣 And since I am being honest, I think it could have been cooked a tad bit longer, but that is just my personal preference. I ordered a mocktail mojito, which was slightly more bitter than I expected to be, I don't think the mint leaves were muddled, just tossed and mixed in. And I assumed the price would have been cheaper for no alcohol in it, I was wrong, but again, I didn't ask. My boyfriend ordered the NY strip w lobster Mac & cheese. We both agreed that the sear could have been better. It was still an enjoyable dish, overall, with brocolinni and lobster m&c. The parmesean truffle fries were also a tasty addition to the entrees. It was definelty enough for both of us. I ordered the short rib dish. I personally think it would have been better paired w the orzo that came w the scallop dish, as the grits seemed more like thick mashed potatoes. The portion was huge, as I went home w half the meat. Let me rave about the desserts, though!!!! My bf chose the chocolate crunch cake which is paired w toffee ice cream. He enjoyed every bite. I liked it too. However, the peanut butter and jelly Phyllo dessert genuinely made me so happy, that I almost teared up. Not only was its presentation beautiful, but the flavors and textures meshed so well, that every bite was just pure bliss to me. (I believe of all the places I've been and all the sweets/desserts that I've ordered, this particular dessert is my absolute favorite, and would come here just for it). The restaurant is located in a corner of a building and intersection. There was a vault door on the wall that added to the old school aesthetic. The decor in the bathroom even had old receipts from 1939 framed. It is a snug fit, and tables are a bit close to each other, we managed to get a larger table that seats up to 4, which was nice, but other couples had 2 seating tables that were just so close to eachother, that I thought some were double dating. If there is one loud person (which towards the end of our meal, one came up) you can hear he/she through the entire place. That kinda made for an unpleasant experience, but she wasn't rude or anything, just super loud. Nothing you can do about that, but it just emphasizes the already tight quarters. I do look forward to dining out on their patio in the fall when the temperatures are cooler. Last, but certainly not least, Jacob was a fantastic server! He was very attentive and very kind, especially w answering all the questions I had (even if I didn't ask the important questions regarding prices 🤣🤣)

Cotton Row has that perfect balance of Southern charm and modern twist. I tried their shrimp and grits, and it was creamy and flavorful without being heavy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a nice buzz but nothing too loud. Staff was friendly and knew their menu well, which made picking easier

The Bottle is an elegant restaurant and bar located in Downtown Huntsville, offering a sophisticated menu of New American cuisine with a Southern and French influence. The upscale eatery provides a refined dining experience with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and creative presentation. Chef Andy, renowned for his culinary skills, can prepare special plant-based dishes upon request. The establishment boasts an extensive selection of craft cocktails, wines, and beers to complement the seasonal menu.
I recently celebrated my wife's birthday at The Bottle in Huntsville, and it was an awesome experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere set the tone for an exquisite evening. We were fortunate to have a window seat with a stunning view of downtown Huntsville, which added some natural light to our celebration. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye, cooked medium well, and it was to perfection—exceptionally tender and grilled with flavor. Had a fresh salad that was just as delicious and plentiful. It was upscale, making it perfect for a business dinner or a romantic date night. To our surprise, the restaurant played back-to-back selections of classic R&B tunes (smooth grooves), creating a soulful theme that had us humming along throughout our meal. Overall, The Bottle exceeded our expectations. It was well worth it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

This was our first time at The Bottle. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were seated with no issues. Our main server seemed rushed at times when taking our order. The service was not bad but did seemed rushed. The additional helpers were always around clearing items and bringing out bread. The food and drinks were really good. You get what you pay for here. Everything seemed fresh and the building appeared clean. You can tell the restaurant has some age, but that gives it some character.

Since I moved to Huntsville Eight years ago, the Bottle has been one of my favorite places to go. Living north of Atlanta for many years I was used to chef driven fine dining and fabulous cocktails. And I felt I could always go to the bottle for that. This last week I took my sister for her birthday dinner and was very disappointed. The server was very nice. We really enjoyed his company. We sat upstairs. From the crabcake which was all breading no flavor. The apple glaze they put on it had zero flavor to the scallop dish and the salmon dish she had flavorless, the grits or whatever my scallops are on were pasty, scallops were rubbery, her salmon dish was non-eventful. To the dessert, dry almond cake with birthday cake icing squirted on top of it, disappointing. A huge chunk of money to pay for disappointment after disappointment. I felt bad for my sister. I was embarrassed.

We celebrated of 11 year anniversary here. We highly recommend this place. Our server Ryan provided exceptional service in taking care of us. We were seated in a private booth area with lots of windows onlooking the city lights. The chef came out to greet us after a slight menu misunderstanding. The problem was rectified immediately, and we were offered two desserts instead of the one celebratory dessert. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The staff gave us several compliments on how well we were dressed for the evening. Everybody was very attentive.

The Bottle in Huntsville delivers an upscale Southern dining experience with incredible flavors and warm hospitality. We loved the fried green tomatoes with avocado (a bit avocado-forward for our taste), but the fried okra and homemade biscuits were absolutely amazing, and the ribeye with fingerling and sweet potatoes plus Brussels sprouts was perfection. My wife’s whiskey sour was the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable evening.

A great place to dine! It was quiet and friendly. There were only places for about 10 people to sit in the area we sat in so it made it feel a little more like being at home. The servers were timely. We didn't wait long for our food and it was excellent. The vanilla creme brulee was definitely delicious to finish off our meal. We had to go walk a bit as we were very full when we left. 😃

Just had a wonderful dinner at The Bottle! Reserved a table to celebrate our anniversary and we both completely enjoyed it! Thank you, Mike Bob, for the fantastic service and awesome drinks! The okra salad was very tasty and the steak was melt in your mouth goodness! I am very picky about my steak and this was perfect. No steak sauce needed. Vegetables very good as well. This is a great place for a special occasion or if you want really really good food!! Price is a bit high but for a special occasion, it’s worth it!!

I’ve walked past The Bottle for years and always loved how they had diners at the windows so I could sneak a peek at their food. We visited on a Saturday night with reservations. We got one of the coveted window seats lol. The pork belly and waffle appetizer was insane. It had blueberry gastrique and peanut butter. We ordered filet mignon, seared tuna, and the sour pear cocktail. My only complaint was that I ordered my steak medium and it came out medium well/well. I would have brought it to my servers attention if the table behind me hadn’t gutted him for a similar issue. The steak wasn’t inedible it was tender and the sauce it came with helped too. The tuna was excellently prepared. Our waiter was very friendly and came over an appropriate number of times to check on us and give refills. We finished our meal off with Vanilla Crème Brûlée, shortbread cookies, and lemon curd. Honestly it was the best thing I had from there. I look forward to visiting again and I will send my steak back next time. Oh and the chef came out and we got to chat a bit. That was very nice.

Edgar's Bakery is a charming spot in Huntsville that offers an array of delectable treats. The bakery is known for its mouthwatering strawberry cake and caramel cupcakes, both of which are made with high-quality ingredients. Additionally, their breakfast options are a hit, with the breakfast sandwich on homemade jalapeno bread receiving high praise. Visitors also rave about the pimento cheese biscuit served on a cheddar biscuit with egg and bacon, as well as the delightful cinnamon roll.
Overall was surprised because the prices for the meals were/are very reasonable as for the drinks they are what you expect close to Starbucks prices. So if looking for some good breakfast will suggest it just maybe choice your own drinks from home or no coffee since that will easily bring the meal price up. Loved the food choices and staff friendly.

I ordered a custom birthday cake from Edgar’s for a 20-year-old’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! We went with chocolate cake and chocolate frosting, topped with fun confetti decorations—it looked great and tasted even better. The cake was rich, moist, and full of flavor. Everyone at the party loved it and kept asking where it was from. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious and well-made custom cake!

Food was delicious but seemed like the staff weren’t too happy at their jobs, likely due to being understaffed. We got the French bread, eggs Benedict and a double chocolate cupcake. They were all delicious, but the cupcake icing could’ve used a little less sugar in my opinion.

Very mixed feelings regarding this highly recommended bakery. On business/holiday in the Research Park business district. The customer service was pleasant. The employees were polite, attentive and patient. In addition, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The issue was with the baked goods. My party ordered cupcakes (Sundae, Strawberry, and Vanilla). We also ordered a Warm Cinnamon Bun and a Pecan Swirl Bun. We all agreed everything tasted dry.... Almost stale like they were made days before our visit. The prices would have been reasonable if the baked goods were fresh.

MELT Huntsville is a relaxed restaurant located at The Avenue Apartments, offering classic comfort food with a modern twist. Guests can enjoy toasted sandwiches and a patio with heaters for outdoor dining. The menu features signature sandwiches like the Ragin Cajun, Classic Cuban, and Flyin Hawaiian. Additionally, MELT provides refreshing drinks such as Peach Sangria and Southern Sweet Tea. The Honey Baked Goat Cheese is highly recommended from their sharable menu.
We loved this place!! It was our first visit and the food was delicious and the service was excellent!! Our server Lara was so helpful offering recommendations and taking great care of us while Shelly the hostess was super welcoming and was very accommodating with our seating request. I enjoyed the pesto chicken sandwich and my husband loved the meatball sub! They have a fun little outside play area for the kids and overall it is just a fun place to hang out! The drink selection was awesome too! I really enjoyed the pear cider!! We will definitely be back!!

We were passing by Huntsville and googled for popular restaurants. Melt came up and we gave it a try. In a nutshell, if Melt is the best that Huntsville has to offer from food perspective, then what they say about Birmingham being much better is totally true. The atmosphere was great and so were the service. But the food was average and without much character. The Reuben could be one of the worst I’ve ever had: barely ANY meat on it. Also no or minimal 1000 island dressing… It was a joke. Side tomato and cucumber salad was old and tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for days. The fried food was good, the tater tots and pickles were fried to perfection and fresh. Beer selection was good. Service was acceptable. But the sandwiches were definitely soulless and tasteless. Melt as a restaurant has a long ways to go if they want to be a top representation of this otherwise cute city.

I had a really enjoyable experience at MELT Huntsville. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made it even better. Our server Jeanette was fantastic, professional, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic. They greeted us with a smile, made us feel welcome, and offered great menu suggestions that helped us choose our meals with confidence. We tried the Honey Goat Cheese, Pesto Chicken, and the Patty Melt. The flavors were solid across the board. The Pesto Chicken had great taste, but it was a little dry. The real standout was the Patty Melt, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. It definitely exceeded expectations. One small thing that affected the overall experience was a bit of discomfort while dining, possibly due to being seated near an outdoor entry point. It’s a minor issue, but something to be aware of depending on where you’re seated. MELT HUNTSVILLE delivered on great service, a friendly vibe, and satisfying food. I’d absolutely return, just hoping next time the environment is a little more comfortable to match the quality of everything else.

We went for lunch. Our server Pinky was great, she was very attentive and provided great service. Food was very good. Fried pickles are the best I’ve had. I was tempted to try the summer drink menu because they sounded so good. It wasn’t a very hot day so I decided against it. The fried Oreos are delicious but very big. I think one per person is plenty!

Had an amazing experience at Melt in Huntsville, AL! The vibe was great and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor—you can really tell they care about quality. They offer a variety of creative sandwiches and serve all-day brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. Our waitress Kat and the manager Stacy were both incredibly sweet, attentive, and pleasant—they truly made us feel at home. This place has a real family-friendly feel, with board games and patio games that kept everyone entertained. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, laugh, and enjoy great food with great company. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back.

Had a great lunch. The patty melt is super tasty. The fried pickles are deeeelish! The mac-n- cheese egg rolls are so good as well. The server was attentive and friendly. I believe his name was John. The bartender made me a michelada per my request. It wasn't on the drink menu. She did a great job. The drink hit the spot as well. I had 2 friends with me from out of town they loved it as well.

Love the open atmosphere! We shared fried pickles and they were the delicious! Easily the best part of our meal. I had a Rueben with Tots. The Rueben was full of flavor, but I thought the sauerkraut had an odd taste. I can’t remember if my wife got the chicken pesto or the bacon ranch with fries. She liked it! The fries and tots came out hot and tasty! I would return to try other menu items.

Coffee lover rejoice! The Cozy Cow is a must-stop for any caffeine addict in Huntsville. This delightful little shop is crammed with tons of delicious coffee and tea options, as well as some yummy treats. If you're looking for something to do while you sip your java, check out their calendar of events. You definitely won't regret dropping by The Cozy Cow!
My family and I have attempted to visit The Cozy Cow whenever we walk around downtown, but we always miss their open business hours. But not today! We walked in, (only because the open sign was on), and discovered that they closed in 8 minutes! They ladies were super friendly and graciously helped us and we’re so grateful for their kindness and excellent customer service! We had a custom banana split (cotton candy and peach ice cream), peach ice cream and buttered crunch ice cream. Each flavor was delicious and great quality! We will definitely be back when they’re open and operating so that we can get the full Cozy Cow experience!

When we walked in we were not greeted. Not even a smile. Every single worker looked at us and didn’t say a word. This was our first time so we were unsure where to order, pay or even look at a menu. When it was our turn to order the young girl with purple hair looked at us and didn’t say a word. After a few moment of looking at each other she finally said “are y’all ready to order” in the snarkiest tone. While three other customers were getting grade A treatment from this one worker (long black and pink hair) who was asking if they wanted to sample every ice cream in the freezer section. It seems this establishment does not service all people, only their kind. I won’t be back. I will not spend another dime in this establishment.

Super cute little café area with a great cow theme! My husband and I went for coffee and it was okay, but both of our drinks were pretty sweet. I got a dirty vanilla chai and didn’t taste any espresso, just a super sweet chai flavor. My husband liked his drink pretty good, too, just a caramel latte, but next time I think we’ll go back for the food instead!

Ice cream shop
Marble Slab Creamery is a popular ice cream store known for its wide range of mix-in ingredients and delicious cookies. While it can get busy at times, the homemade taste of their old-fashioned ice cream makes it well worth the visit. Customers have raved about flavors like dark chocolate, Maggie Moos, butter cream, and pumpkin spice latte. Some have also enjoyed free mix-ins and friendly service from the staff.
Marble Slab literally saved my wife's birthday—and probably my marriage. In my infinite wisdom, I somehow managed to order an ice cream cake with the wrong date, wrong flavor, and completely wrong size. Imagine my panic showing up several days early to pick up a cake that wasn't supposed to exist yet, only to discover that I'd created an accidental birthday disaster. Enter the manager, heroically stepping in to sort out my comedy of errors. She calmly swapped my tiny, incorrect-flavor cake for the larger, delicious masterpiece my wife actually wanted, and didn't even fuss at my complete incompetence. Thanks to Marble Slab, not only did my wife have an amazing birthday, but I narrowly avoided spending the night on the couch. Five stars for fantastic ice cream cakes and even better customer service. I'll be back—hopefully with fewer self-inflicted disasters next time! There are truly good people staffing this place and my review can't do then justice.
Sean H — Google review
Love love love this place. However, on a recent visit we realized the ice cream wasn't as creamy as it normally was. Plus the cotton candy flavor was not as sweet and there was no flavor to it. We loved having free mix ins. Service was ok, except I wish they had one person doing the register and not going back and forth handling money and food simultaneously. There were 3 sets of folks in line waiting to cash out..but all the 4 staff members were busy still serving ice creams. That was odd, so a little management of staff would have made our check out faster and smoother. Seating inside is limited, but they do have outdoor seating, along with seating from the mall itself. Be prepared to wait a bit, if busy, but they move pretty quickly. Would love to see more staff enthusiasm though....in terms of smiling faces....it's ice cream ! Coincides with being a happy treat. New closing hours as of Sept 2022 is 8pm and not 9 pm as stated online. Will continue to support this local business and hope they stay for years to come.

Fully customizable ice cream with add-ins, good flavors. Ice cream seemed like they were a bit melty while still in the case 😬. While move, servers seemed a bit short on patience, otherwise a good experience.

The red velvet ice cream I had was good, that’s where the positives end. For starters there were 2 families ahead of me and still it took over 20 minutes just to get one scoop! The customer service was mediocre at best, the store was completely disheveled and the worst part was that after waiting patiently for what seemed an eternity, I would have expected to at least get a Solid scoop. But I paid $5.77 for the literal smallest scoop of ice cream that I have ever seen! After 2 bites I decided to take a picture because it was absolutely worth noting. I have loved Maggie Moos for years and the red velvet is still very good however I 100% felt cheated today.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Once: I received Butter Pecan ice cream that contained zero pecans. Twice: Ordered Chocolate Caramel Butter Pecan (hoping for pecans) Received without caramel. Verbally said, "Where is the caramel?" He dumped it back on the marble slab and poured a glob of caramel, folded the ice cream over it, and dropped it back in the cone. Dear heavens! I shall never return.

I like the set up and the costumer service was decent, But the issue I have is that it was a little unclean and I got The most basic flavor and it was absolutely disgusting. I do recommend this place if your not getting ice cream As I’m sure there other items are great.

CHOP N FRESH is a seasonal salad cafe that offers both signature combinations and an extensive selection of build-your-own ingredients. Ordering at this establishment is effortless, with friendly service provided by the staff. The food itself is delicious and generously portioned, often resulting in enough for two meals. A particular favorite is the spinach and spring mix salad with chicken and shrimp, accompanied by toppings such as tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, balsamic vinaigrette, and crushed peppers.
We visited for the first time today, and it was by far the best salad I’ve ever had! The staff were all very friendly, smiling and polite. I had the Warm Brussels Bowl (which I think may be seasonal), but wow! It was fabulous! The candied pecans, tender chicken, warm rice and Brussels sprouts with the roasted sweet potato…,just a perfect combination. Oh, and the raw beets, which I was very skeptical about…I enjoyed them very much. My husband was very pleased with his southwest salad as well.

★★★★★ Southwest Meets Fresh This vibrant Southwestern salad is a perfect blend of fresh and bold flavors. Crisp romaine lettuce serves as a base for fire-roasted corn, black beans, and juicy cherry tomatoes. The perfectly cooked chicken breast , crispy tortilla strips create an irresistible texture contrast. The dressing ties everything together beautifully, an ideal balance. It's a refreshing reminder that healthy eating can be both satisfying and delicious.

I used to love Chop N Fresh but the last few times I’ve ordered my salad has been very soggy. I even ordered LIGHT amount of dressing this time and it’s absolutely drenched with dressing to the point I can’t even eat it. I ordered via Uber Eats so no option to have it corrected. Very disappointing as this has been my experience my last few orders.
TayNick T — Google review
Chop N Fresh has been my go-to splurge lunch spot. Yes, it’s definitely on the expensive side for a salad, but I’ve always enjoyed the quality and flavors—until this past Monday. I placed an online order for the Cobb Boom and added olives. Picked it up off the shelf as usual and headed back to work. But after a few bites, I noticed something was off. After digging around, I realized the salad was missing the chicken, egg, and avocado—some of the core ingredients of a Cobb! I called the store and spoke with someone who offered a refund since I wasn’t wanting to drive back. That was appreciated. However, I’ve tried calling back several times throughout the week to follow up, and no one has answered. It’s frustrating to have paid $20 (with tip) for what essentially amounted to a bowl of lettuce, corn, tomatoes, and olives. I really want to keep liking this place, but this experience was disappointing and the lack of follow-up doesn’t help.

We wanted to try Chop N Fresh one afternoon for lunch and were very impressed. I figured I would walk away hungry with just having a salad. I was wrong. Krispy Kreme is a beloved chain known for its delightful array of donuts, featuring an impressive variety of flavors and shapes that cater to every sweet tooth. Alongside their famous treats, they also serve up delicious coffee and refreshing frozen drinks, making it a perfect stop for any time of day. The atmosphere can get quite lively, especially during peak times like Valentine's Day when eager customers line up for their warm, freshly made donuts.
Sadly everything seems to go downhill, including Krispy Kreme. I always have loved their doughnuts, but will have to find another place to go. Ordered the Valentines Box of Flowers to be delivered and they were awful. Missing the types advertised, lazy and none of the pretty decorations advertised. Sad dried up plain donuts that look like a lazy person couldn’t be bothered enough to do a good job on. Expensive too since they were ordered and delivered. Never again. No hard working honest person would ever send out these.

ChatGPT You said: I order a 24 count of original glazed dots and a raspberry filled doughnut online for pickup. When I got to the store she went to the back to fill the order instead of using the doughnuts at front. The raspberry filled was cold and stale and the dots were hard and stale and you could tell they had been sitting for awhile. I was deeply disappointed with my order ChatGPT said: That sounds really frustrating, especially when you were expecting fresh doughnuts. If you haven’t already, you might want to reach out to the store or customer service to let them know about your experience. Many places are willing to make things right, whether it’s a refund, replacement, or at least an acknowledgment of the issue. Would you like help drafting a message or figuring out the best way to approach it? You said: Help me draft a review and talk about my experience ChatGPT said: Sure! Here’s a draft for your review that clearly expresses your disappointment while remaining fair and constructive: I was really looking forward to my order, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I placed an online order for a 24-count of Original Glazed Dots and a Raspberry Filled doughnut for pickup. When I arrived, the employee went to the back to fill my order instead of using the fresh doughnuts that were available in the front. When I got home, I realized that both the Raspberry Filled doughnut and the Glazed Dots were cold, stale, and hard, as if they had been sitting out for a long time. It was clear they weren’t fresh, which was really disappointing considering Krispy Kreme is known for its soft, warm, and delicious doughnuts. I expected better quality, especially from an online order that should have been prepared with care. I hope the store improves its process for online pickups so customers receive the same fresh products as those who buy in-store.

Ordered online the Houses of Hogwarts Doughnuts combo with the sorting hat. Picked it up, box was taped shut. Got home opened it, didn’t get the Slytherin doughnuts or the sorting hat. No one said anything or called me to inform me of anything. On top of that some of the doughnuts are weirdly shaped and not topped the way they’re supposed to be. In short paid for stuff didn’t receive it and was given inadequate customer service by not being informed of such things.

1st pic what I ordered. 2nd pic is what I got. Trying to order the pretty Easter donuts for the grandkids. It wasn't even 7:30 am when I put in my order on Sunday and somehow they're unavailable? Either make enough for 1st thing Sunday morning in April (which is logical) or take them off the menu on UberEats then since the cost is significantly higher than any of the other donuts and now I am stuck losing money and getting donuts that I could've got from Dunkin for half the price. Get it together.
Siana P — Google review
The doughnuts are very good, but the staff is not. They only had two people working up front. One at the drive-thru and one helping all the customers waiting in the lobby which was lined out the door. They both were over worked and not friendly at all. The selection of doughnuts was very slim. I was definitely very disappointed.

My husband went to go pick up the specialty Harry Potter donuts this morning, but we were told that they only make a certain amount of these donuts daily. If you are a donut place and make specialty donuts you should not be running out of anything. Trust me, I will not be going back to the store because you need to let people know before they order something online and come pick it up only to get there to tell them this information. You should know that this is going to be a hot commodity so you need to make more than just a couple of donuts for this purpose.

I have been so excited to stop at a Krispy Kreme for the first time…we hit up this one before traveling home to Arkansas, go inside and a lady asked us what she could get us. My daughter and I gave her our order (that was a few different donuts) and she rudely said, “what are you even trying to order, you just said a lot of things and I wasn’t even listening” ….we were so caught off guard …we repeated our order of a dozen donuts, 10 dots and 2 singles…..got to the register and the 2 singles were missing …the lady threw a fit about having to go back to get them! We didn’t realize till we got in the truck that she messed up the 2 singles too. It was 8:30 in the morning and the store was not clean or stocked….we had to ask for napkins and sugar for the coffee….a dad that had just left with his order, came back in to ask if they had a hat for his kid and the rude lady just said ‘no’ while another employee went to get him one. …it was just very disappointing for a first time experience.

Ordered online for pick up today of the Harry Potter donuts and sorting hats as a fun thing to do with my daughter only to be told at pick up that they don’t have them. Why order hours ahead and pay if you aren’t going to honor it? Then offer me regular donuts that are half the price and no refund on what I didn’t get.

Bigfoot's Little Donuts is a popular dessert truck known for its delicious made-to-order donut holes. These aren't your typical donuts - they come in warm clusters and can be customized with various toppings like syrups, custards, jams, or frostings. The smores flavor is highly recommended! The donuts are about 1 1/2 inches across and are sold by the dozen, with each dozen being of one flavor.
We came here this morning, the owner I’m assuming was there and greeted us. He gave us the rundown on how they are made and how and we ordered 3 different “pans” of flavors. They are cooked to order and are delicious! We didn’t branch out to much on the flavors as they were for our teenage son(his bday treat) but all three were absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming- the place was clean and welcoming. I even bought a t shirt!

Should've taken pics before we dug in but we were too ready. Lol I first tried these from someone at work. Had to buy some for my family. I ordered cinnamon sugar, cookies and cream, blueberry lemonade and strawberries and cream. They are always soo delicious and fresh!! Warm with a slight crunch on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside. And the guest service was top tier. Our new fave sweet spot. Already ready for the next order. 😊
LaShell J — Google review
I love this place! The yummy little donut holes are served hot and fresh, every time. So many flavors to choose from. Cheaper on the wallet than a box of donuts too. Can't go wrong filling your sweet tooth here.🥰

The best donuts I've ever had in my life! The man who made the donuts while we waited took the time to tell my kids about them and what the differences were so they could choose which ones they wanted. He was very busy people kept coming in and it was almost closing but he took care of everyone with a professional kindness and didn't miss a beat. He did all that and still made everyone's donuts hot and fresh to order and the wait time was fast and easy. We are still talking about the the donuts. They were amazing and we bought 4 kinds. I'm glad we let the kids buy the little Bigfoot stuffed animals because it was definitely a happy memory ❤️ We live out of town but will definitely gets these donuts again. The man who took care of us was as impressive as the donuts and we wanted to say thank you. Looking forward to next time.

Best donuts in Huntsville! They have a great list of year around flavors or try their seasonal specials that will light your tastebuds up! Staff is super friendly and the shop is decorated to the theme of Bigfoot. I bring these to work and home, everyone loves the flavor and variety.

Great service and amazing donuts! They come with "minimum 12" per order lol but I had about 20ish 😂 great price and awesome taste
Shane S — Google review
These little donuts are so good. I've been several times but this is my first review. Once you order your donuts they are made fresh while you wait. Once you get these little sugar morsels will have you driving side ways lol They do have tables for you to eat in but I guarantee you, you will eat at least six before you make it home.
Reginald J — Google review
BEST DONUTS I HAVE EVER HAD! Seriously, don't waste your time and looking at other places this is the place! The people are friendly but the donuts speak for themself. Made to order and soooooooo good! I want to go back and get all of them. The price is just right and worth every penny! Just try it you won't regret it. I wish this place was where I lived. A MUST STOP!!!

Went in this morning and got 7 small Bundt cakes. The young woman at the register so friendly. I was in and out in a snap. The cake we ate was simply AMAZING! We’ve already scarfed one down and can’t decide which we’ll eat later. Great place!!👍

This mini bundt cake is soooo good! The icing is homemade the cake is so light and melts in your mouth. The drive there was atrocious but when I took a bite of this cake I knew that it was worth it. I'm definitely coming back here! I got White Chocolate Raspberry and Classic Vanilla.
CeeJay L — Google review
Ordered a cake to be picked up at 3pm. Arrived at 3:30….they had given my cake away. They dug through trash to find the receipts, no apologies. I waited 15 minutes for them to make the cake- with the incorrect colored decor and signs that I had originally asked for. 🤨 No sorry for your inconvenience, no compensation. So now we have an AL colored bday cake for my UGA fan husband. I’m sure the cake will taste delicious but come on customer service.
Tessa H — Google review
Ordered food at least 10 minutes before their “rush” last night. Once the “rush” showed up, those customers started receiving their food before we got our carry out. I questioned the employee at the register area and was told I would just have to wait because now they have a “rush”. REALLY!?! I have never had any issues at this restaurant but I highly suggest you do not try to go there when they may receive a “rush” because you may just have to wait until after 50 or so people get their food. Very rude. Very unprofessional. Very disrespectful. Very disappointing. I ordered first should have received my food first or in a timely manner.
Jennifer M — Google review
Poor service always trumps good product. Sour faced employee who refuses to look at me or even smile cause me to reconsider my purchase. Spending $50 on seven cakes should at least merit a smile and a thank you. They never have special pricing or deals.
Lee R — Google review
To other Nothing but Bundt fans, this store does not honor the cooler bag deal. While visiting Huntsville, we drove out of our way to this store. The lady in front of us just ordered one free cake. We were going to purchase the three to get one free. To not honor the three and one free is definitely their prerogative, but I was confused as to why you honor the free one without purchase and not the purchase with a free one. On to the next Nothing But Bundt adventure. We were sad to not add this store to our long list of Nothing But Bundt travel fun.

Tried to get a cookie cake today and was told they didn't have any more cooked and the decorator was about to leave and the earliest could get one was almost 3 hours from now. I worked for great American cookies years ago and know this should never be the case. And am very disappointed that I got to go to another location to get one.

I'm surprised at some of the bad reviews. We stopped here while staying in Huntsville and the cookies were so fresh and delicious my husband had to go back before we left to go home. My 5 year old daughter said it was the softest and most delicious M&M cookie she has ever had. The red velvet was amazing and the worker was friendly.

The Donut Hole is a charming cafe located at the Main Street South center, offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious food options. While their name suggests a focus on donuts, many visitors rave about their impressive sandwich selection, including the Italian sandwich and Uncle Mark Philly Cheesesteak. The cafe also caters to vegan customers with a variety of vegan donut flavors available. Additionally, The Donut Hole is known for its prompt and friendly service.
Awesome vegan and non vegan treats. I kind of wish I wasn't eating lunch somewhere else because the rest of the good smelled amazing. The filled donuts are huge, and so are the fritters. My only complaint is the coffee - it's not great, but everything else is!

Love this place! They are always so incredibly friendly. Their donuts are delicious. And they make these fantastic custom donut grams! I still haven't tried any of their real food yet, but it smells fantastic, and it's next on my list!

Thank you to The Donut Hole for the fresh, delicious donuts delivered to the SCI Technology, Inc. and Sanmina Corporation employee appreciation event this week. If you haven’t tried their donuts, you’re missing out! They also have allergy friendly/vegan donuts😊
Sharon P — Google review
These are the best donuts ever! My favorite has to be the vanilla cream filled. Now, I know what you're thinking that's pretty basic of me. If you tried one you would understand why I love them so much. The donut itself is light and airy just like all their donuts. The chocolate on top is yummy. The star here is the cream, it's not that thick icing that's in other donuts. No this cream is whipped so it's light and sweet but not overly so. Also maple bacon is soo good!
Stephanie S — Google review
I came because I saw the word vegan. Also because someone posted on social media about donuts and apparently I'm highly susceptible to suggestion. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered one of every vegan donut flavor. There were 6. I couldn't tell you what flavors I have because the trays weren't labeled. As donuts go, they're decent. There doesn't actually seem to be a flavor difference between the donuts, just a topping difference. Once you get past the initial sweetness though all of them taste the same. The texture is also ever so slightly thick. That being said, I haven't stopped eating. For anyone who loves donuts and needs a vegan alternative, this is a good spot!
Kristi T — Google review
This is my favorite donut shop in Huntsville. They have amazing “cake” donuts plus my favorite, Oreo donuts. Also, make sure you try their Philly subs which are the best in town. They will even make it with out the bread for those looking for a balance meal 🤗
Tim W — Google review
The cashier was nice, the food was made to order which was great but didn't take long. I like that the location is convenient to university drive and that its open until 6pm Mon-Sat (closed Sundays). The menu is written on a feature wall in chalk that can be updated as needed. Their cheese steaks comes in two sizes either 7 inches or 12 depending on how hungry you are. There was free refills on the drinks but was only two options of either sweet tea or lemonade. I didn't try any of their desserts for my first trip but I plan on it the next time I go.

I’m not a huge fan of doughnuts, but I went with some friends and family and they thoroughly enjoyed them. The doughnuts are good quality with variety and the employee I spoke to was so nice you’d come back even if you aren’t in love with doughnuts. The atmosphere is clean, quiet & relaxed as well as a bit plain, but a good place to snag some doughnuts.
Kaylie W — Google review
Parlor doughnuts was a pleasant surprise. We had been looking for a new doughnut shop that carried higher quality doughnuts than the usual fast spots Quality and variety are both great, where my wife describes these as closer to a cinnamon roll doughnut due to the size/filling/toppings, but they do still feel like a doughnut. These are very filling, a dozen goes a long way
N S — Google review
These doughnuts are delicious. One of a kind. My only complaint is a pretty big one for me. I ordered the assorted classic and instead of telling me they didn't have the doughnuts they just decided to throw some random ones in. Just let a guy know and I could have picked ones that my family would of liked better. Besides that the doughnuts are great ESPECIALLY with a cup of coffee.
Jonathon H — Google review
Sweet treats! No words can describe the first time experiencing these donuts. The size, the flavors, and texture work together in perfectly fashioned tastebud bliss. Oh yes, we ordered two dozen for breakfast. The online order and pickup process was a breeze.
Brandon F — Google review
Went on 7/5/2025 around 11am and was told by the 2 women that were working there, that there is a 2 dozen order minimum. That since they opened anyone that walks into the store has to order at least 2 dozen. But there were 2 men behind us and there were able to order just 2 donut. When I asked why why were able to get just 2 donut they said it's because they "ordered a head". No sign, no where online saying that there is a minimum order for anyone of 2 dozen. guess I can't ever go there again since I can't just walk in unless I'm ordering over $75 worth of doughnuts

Gold Sprint, located in the historic Lowe Mill neighborhood of Huntsville, is a locally owned craft coffee shop known for its vibrant atmosphere and exceptional coffee. The menu features a variety of seasonal specialty drinks as well as beloved house staples like El Camino and Cloudburst. The shop handcrafts its syrups to perfectly complement the espresso's floral notes.
Gold is a total vibe. I ordered the iced Americano, and it was fantastic—perfectly balanced between espresso, water, and ice. Smooth, bold, and refreshing without being overpowering. You can tell they take their coffee seriously. The space itself is a visual treat. Think warehouse-industrial meets punk rock rebellion with a touch of old-school nostalgia. It’s packed with cool trinkets, antiques, analog gear, and vintage oddities. There’s a raw energy to the place—part 80s/90s grunge, part modern minimalist. If you’re into that retro, edgy aesthetic, this is your place. The playlists match the vibe, too—gritty, eclectic, and full of attitude. Not the ideal spot if you’re looking for quiet study time, but perfect if you want to soak in a space with character and soul. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Huntsville and want more than just a cup of coffee—Gold Sprint delivers a whole experience.

This place may be a little too trendy for an old guy like me. But, if you're into man purses and pet friendly, this is your place. Customer service was top notch, and food/drinks were as expected for a nice shop like this. It looks like they had a place for a band. There is plenty of cozy seating. We got a scone, coffee, and a matching tea. It was $23.50 with a tip. I probably won't go back, but for the younger folks, it is probably a hit.

Gold Sprint Coffee in Huntsville offers a charming ambiance with ample parking and a lovely patio area, making it a great spot to relax or catch a live band performance. While the coffee shop excels in atmosphere, the Lavender Honey Latte was somewhat disappointing, lacking the bold flavors one might expect. Despite this, the overall experience is positive, thanks to the friendly staff and well-designed space. It’s an excellent spot for meeting friends, working, or enjoying the local music scene, even if the specialty drinks might not always hit the mark.

Thank you to the team for having a welcoming environment for all!

The store is bright and has the look of what you would like to see in a candy store....tons and tons of candy. For the most part the floors and merchandise all look in good condition. The only real negatives I have are the prices for some of the candy can be on the high side specifically for some items you could find in a dollar store for much cheaper. And second is mainly on the people coming into the store with kids. Many times I have seen them reach into buckets with their hands to touch or grab at the candy. Thankfully the parents stop them but the fact they have already touched it and just let it sit there can be bothersome. But otherwise its a nice store.
Evan G — Google review
I didn’t purchase anything here but my mother in law did for her son. She spend $20 on a container of candy that you get to fill yourself with whatever you want from the displays. While the variety is nice and it’s a neat thing to offer, I wouldn’t pay this much money for the amount of candy that you get.
Kathryn ( — Google review
I was in the Bridge Street location on Saturday March 24. I have never in my life been treated so rudely. I took my son and four grandkids in for candy. I spent $60.+ Dollars at the store. I asked for individual bags for each child. I was told the bags were not free. In this purchase I bought three whistle pops $1.99 each. My granddaughter dropped hers and was upset. I came back in the store and bought three more. I paid with cash this time. The man behind the counter laid my cash in the counter instead of putting in my hand. It made me mad but I left. Two of the three whistle pops were broken. My grandson was upset because his would not whistle. I went in the store the third time and bought another one. I told the guy behind the counter two were broken. He just said $2.16 for the sucker. I laid the money on the counter like he gave my change back the second order. He threw my change at me which landed in the candy shelf below. I asked his name he shrugged his shoulders. He told me he handed me my money the way I had handed it to him. I didn't throw it at him. He told me there was cameras I hope so. He said something about people like me don't know what he meant by that. Then told me bye bye. I later called the store and started telling my story. The guy that was so rude to me answered the phone told me he was the manager bye bye. I have never been treated like this in my life.

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a popular chain known for its delightful range of cold treats. While their name suggests a focus on Italian ice and frozen custard, they offer much more. Visitors can enjoy gelati, Blendini, and Misto Shake that combine these delicacies in various ways. The menu boasts an array of flavors to explore at their locations, such as the one in Madison. Families can take advantage of the Family Gelati Deal during warmer weather.
Rita’s is a great spot for an after dinner dessert! Fast and friendly service. You can sample the different flavors before committing to one. The custard and gelati are both awesome! I definitely recommend one of the two over getting the Italian ice by itself. They even have outdoor seating with umbrellas! They also accept ApplePay
Colin T — Google review
We enjoy the custard and ice, but the customer service seems to be poor here. We have visited this location twice in three days, and both times the employees acted like they were annoyed by our coming into the store. We always try to be kind to service workers by greeting them when we come in. These ladies just stared at us until we made our order, then checked us out without even saying “You’re welcome” when we thanked them. However, despite their rudeness, they make sure to ask for a tip before you leave!
Matthew B — Google review
We actually got Rita’s from the Athens last night from their truck. The young men that served us were very polite and paid attention to detail. Although there were not a lot of flavors to choose from (it’s a van to it’s small) the items were got were delicious! I ordered a small chocolate custard and my husband ordered a cherry Italian ice. Both we’re amazing and hit the spot! Highly recommend and we will be going again.

We’ve been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The employees were really really friendly. The line was long but it moved quickly. The owner served me and let me sample as much as I wanted to. He said the Banana Pudding flavor was his wife’s specialty!

Delicious treat, very refreshing. It has the most unique texture to any flavored ice dessert I've ever had. The Gelati version is my favorite. All the flavors are delightful so far that I've tried except tropical fusion which wasn't our thing. Cotton candy, green apple, and the coconut cream have become fast favorites.

I got a concrete and it right as well had been a cup of milk.my husband picked the family a treat for a cheat day and this was everything but. There was a black lady and s foreign lady that obviously did not want to be working at this establishment so hence poor customer service was provided. Then they were out of multiple flavors and ingredients. The chocolate chips had a funny after taste and so did the strawberries. Located on University Drive in Huntsville, Three Scoops is a beloved local ice cream shop offering a variety of sweet treats, including ice cream, yogurt, shakes and more. Founded by a family trio with the goal of providing their community with delicious options, the shop features flavors like Mexican Hot Chocolate, Sunken Treasure and Cherries N Cream. The owners have plans to expand their services to include catering and mobile vending. Customers appreciate the consistently good quality and rich flavors of the ice cream.
Good selection of flavors, very clean. Extremely nice employees working. I think a bit overpriced on the larger volumes of ice cream. I bought a 16oz container for $10 took it home to serve 2 people, this was 6 scoops of ice cream. It was so soft, when served it barely made 2 servings. The flavor was good. Would go back but not purchase in volume again, it's not cost effective. Good for a single cone or serving. Another customer bought a shake, that looked really good. Diverse menu of different dessert combinations they could make.

First time trying 3 Scoops. They served us such a large, fat scoop I had to start eating it before I could take a picture. It would have fell off or melted too much. But it was so good! I got the sherbet and no sugar added Carmel pecan. My husband got strawberry. His was also tasty. I will definitely be back. We spent about $12. That’s it!

They agreed months in advance to serve at our corporate event. The night before they confirmed they would be there. The day of they were a no show. They didn't call to cancel they just didn't show up. 10/10 would recommend doing business elsewhere.
Jordan K — Google review
This place has been consistently good. The flavors and quality is well made with most of the ice cream typically having a rich smooth taste. I'm a big chocolate person and enjoy the ones they offer (usually get it in a large shake). They have (I think) about 20-30 flavors. My son loves coming here and the staffs always been great. We had Peyton serve us today and was really patient with helping my son pick just the flavors he wanted and allowed him to try what ever he thought he wanted. Great location, always clean and tastes great.

The ice cream was pleasantly satisfying however i was very disappointed with the cost for the amount of ice cream i received. I think the cost was $4.50 a scoop. I asked for one scoop in a cup. With that being said i was expecting that scoop to at least fill up the bottom of the cup and unfortunately that was not the case. The scoop i received actually fit on a plastic spoon. Very disappointed. To each his own but i wont be going back
RKnox — Google review
First time visit. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Although the lines were busy we were able to get through fairly quickly. They were out of flavors listed online. In addition, the portion sizes were very small for the prices. I ordered an Oreo ice cream (two scoops)and my husband ordered a Brownie. The ice cream is delicious however, my husband was not pleased with the little half of expensive brownie.

Situated at the Campus #805, this unique coffee studio serves authentic coffee and Espresso to-go in a relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding with your favorite cup of joe.
Yummy coffee and friendly staff! I was blow away by how good the avocado bagel was…avocado, spinach, delicious flavorful tomato, and pickled red onion on an everything bagel. 😍 It was seriously great. We got caramel lattes which were also very tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy. I would highly recommend this place.

Unique and cool place with fair amount of options for coffee. Tried the Cereal Milk and also the Maple Fall drink, both of which are specialties they are known for. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Fall drink was great. Disappointed in the cereal milk latte which was lacking flavor. Didn’t have much sweetness either. Had to add a little stevia myself. Other than that, it’s a great coffee shop.
Wade W — Google review
First time visiting. Cool space and laid back. Played cool music. The latte was okay, the London Fog was wonderful, the quiche was cold in the middle, the everything bagel was wonderful. Speaking of the bagel it was from Canadian bakin. Nice service. All in all not bad, but will probably just go to Canadian bakin instead.

I drank A LOT of coffee during a southern route road trip from NYC all the way around to Utah, and I'm not going to lie Offbeat was the best coffee I had on the entire trip. Not to mention the studio (are we going with Studio? Cafe? Shop? Okay studio) itself is awesome, with musical influence everywhere and great tunes playing. Super friendly staff on top of it all. If you require caffeine in Huntsville, well here ya go.

I loved the place, vibes were 10/10 cool and funky #offbeat. The matcha latte was perfect, authentic taste and great quality with the perfect amount of sweetness!

Really one of the best coffee shops in Huntsville. The baristas are friendly and will help you find the perfect drink. The seasonal menu changes often and is well worth the visit.
Mike G — Google review
Handsome coffee shop located amidst the hustle and bustle of breweries and restaurants at Campus 805. They have coffee, some tea, and a couple of snacks / pastries available. It's a small shop but there's enough room for a couple of people to hang out, work on laptops, or catch up. Definitely got a studio kind of vibe to it, lots of dark colors and record decorations hanging out. The staff was friendly and polite. I had an iced mocha and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Pretty sure the bagels are courtesy of Canadian Bakin, so you can't go wrong there! Indeed, my bagel was delicious. It took them a touch longer to toast it and serve it than I expected, given the very low volume of traffic when I ordered, but it's worth the wait for a warm CB bagel. My iced mocha was very smooth, not especially sweet, but you could taste the chocolate flavor. I liked that the ice cubes were so little. The serving size was a touch smaller than I expected, but I enjoyed my drink. They also have various specialty drinks that change with the season. None caught my eye when I visited, but I've seen their holiday menus in the past and they had several yummy sounding combinations. I'd certainly return if I saw one that called to me.

Unlike traditional scooped ice cream, they serve cold slab ice cream and frozen yogurt, and their signature treat is the Tall Charlie, which sandwiches your choice of ice cream between two hot glazed donuts. The shop also takes extra precautions for customers with allergies, ensuring a safe experience for everyone.
Greeted when we arrived! The employee explained the menu and what they offered. Fantastic customer service! We enjoyed watching them make our rolled ice cream. We ordered the SoCal and the Namaste. They both were delicious! Wonderful presentation! We look forward to coming back!
Jessica W — Google review
My girls love Sweet Charlie’s! We came 2 weeks ago and it was closed.. no sign on the door and no post on social media regarding the closure. Came today.. 1:30pm on a weekend day and only 1 worker. Got to the front of the line to order and they were out of FROZEN YOGURT.. also, bar stools were on top of the counter like they didn’t want to serve anyone in doors.. not classy. The girl that was working did her best but management should do better. This place has great potential!
Cydney H — Google review
Kim has amazing service! She greeted us with a warm smile and made our visit so enjoyable. She was also super helpful in recommending flavors, and she made sure we had the best experience. treat. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Alyiah R — Google review
This is the second time I have been to this ice cream shop. The first time the line was so slow that after 15 minutes we left. That was 2 years ago. We decided to give it a try again today. There were about 5 customers waiting on their orders. Twenty minutes later we get our ice cream. For the price of ice cream at The Yard, they need more employees and a better system for preparing ice cream. It was extremely slow and the employees seemed confused with orders. It has the ability to be a great shop in a good location. I really think this is a management and training issue.
Lynn S — Google review
First of all it's 80 in the restaurant. Said it clearly on the thermostat. Hotter than it is outside. Lady at the counter wouldn't turn on the AC. They don't have tall Charlie's anymore or funnel cake or after dark items but their menus don't reflect that. We ordered a waffle taco only to then be told after paying that it would be 10min on the waffle and they were out of mango. We were given it in a cup instead and handed back $1 to make up the difference. The girl working the counter was fast with the ice cream and my daughter liked it so it wasn't a total bust.
Elise B — Google review
Nice staff, great flavor but the ice cream was hard rock solid. I noticed that the young girl making the ice cream was having a lot of trouble when rolling it! They might need to adjust the temperature, but I'll be back because I love ice cream 🤗
Ryan O — Google review
Other places were too busy or closed so we stopped here. Only flavor options were mix ins, ice cream was okay not great, portions were very small for two mini’s and a shake it was $25. Only good thing was the staff.
Weston S — Google review
Love this little shop! I enjoy ordering their cookies for delivery. They always warm them up and they taste just like that came out of the oven - hot and fresh! I have tried their ice cream as well and it is OK. I might just be more of a cookie person. Definitely recommend the chocolate chip cookies. Location is also clean and the employees are always friendly.

The bakery is also known for its colorful custom cakes that are artistically beautiful and customer favorites.
As soon as you walk in it smells amazing!!!! Plus it’s very clean! BEFORE PICKING ITEAMS FROM THE BAKERY YOU NEED TO USE HAND SANITIZER PLUS THEY GIVE YOU A TRAY AND TONGS! Huge variety of pastries! They are a small grocery store and sell food as well. We got a few different things but my favorite was the Tres Leches cake!
Lina L — Google review
Lady at register had the worst attitude ever. She was wearing a mask but can easily tell she was making a horrendous face at me. Asked her for a tray to grab bread and she raised her finger telling me to hold on. after waiting for 10 mins I asked again and she said to get in the line where people were paying. I just wanted a tray to get bread then line up to pay why would I wait twice when they had other employees doing absolutely nothing. and she kept staring at me as i grabbed bread. felt very uncomfortable this isn’t the first time the lady behaves rude. I understand she may be tired but that is not the way to serve customers. will now be driving to La Estrella Bakery in Decatur. highly recommend!!!

Rude and unprofessional service!!! We waited 10 mins for the cashier to show up. She didn’t greet us. She walked by us and stared at us like wth we were doing here!! I was confused , so I asked her if she is the cashier . She responded “uh huh” 🤔 I ordered 3 different items. I asked if I can have an extra paper bag for my son’s bread. Again no response!!! Quietly she charged me .27 cents for that extra paper bag. I asked if she just charged me for an extra paper bag and got her response “ uh huh”. Not even say “ thank you” when walked out. What type of service is this! I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

This is a must every time we go to Huntsville! The place is nice and clean, a wonderful selection of things, and the absolute best pan I've had since moving to Alabama. They have a huge selection and the prices are good too.

Paid for a Tres Leches with Strawberries that came out beautiful, but when we cut into - it was plain, dry vanilla cake with icing that had coconut shavings and what seems to be strawberry filing. I called to let them know they gave me the wrong cake and was told "that's all tres leches is."

Great pastries at an affordable price and now they are offering prepared food like tamales and mole! The tamales are absolutely perfect. They're not dry and as you see in the photo, they are huge. Im a fan of the grocery section area too and the sevice is always good.

The bakery is known for its clever and colorful cake designs including unicorn and sports themes. Customers praise the bakery's ability to accommodate special requests with professionalism and great attention to detail.
The most beautiful and delicious cake and cheesecakes!! Batter Up did our wedding in August, and we have received SO many compliments on not only the beauty, but also the taste! We chose a lemon wedding cake, with one of each of the cheesecakes they offer for the grooms cake. We had so many people telling us their cheesecakes were the best they’ve ever had! I have referred everyone I know getting married soon, as Alyson is so easy to work with and does incredible work.

These cakes are the best in Huntsville! Our daughter just got married and from the first bite of the samplers we were hooked. The cakes are FABULOUS! Taste, consistency and presentation of their cakes were perfect. The ease of working with the business was top notch! We ordered their cheesecakes for the rehearsal dinner and everyone LOVED them, especially the strawberry! I must say that was my favorite too and it was perfect. The delivery and set up of the wedding cake was perfect and was done so with a smile! I cannot recommend them enough. This will be the only place I have cakes made in Huntsville!

For my twins’ first birthday, we had an avocado-themed cake, and it turned out to be an absolute delight! We decorated the cake ourselves, and it looked stunning—perfectly matching the theme. But what truly amazed us was the taste. Fondant cakes are often more about appearance than flavor, but this one was exceptional. The cake was moist, flavorful, and balanced, with the fondant being surprisingly delicious. Everyone at the party raved about it! It was the perfect centerpiece for the celebration and made the day even more memorable. A big thumbs up for creating such a masterpiece inside and out!

We just hosted a wedding shower at my office, and not only was the cake picture perfect, it was absolutely delicious! The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that it was perfect. The cake was such a hit! The price was more than fair as well! I will definitely be getting all of my cakes from here in the future!

Batter Up made our wedding cake in May, and it was a huge hit. So many of our guests said that was the best wedding cake they'd ever tasted, and I concur. The cake was beautiful, delivered on time, and the whole process of ordering and designing it was as smooth as can be. We now have an addiction to their almond cake, and they're one of the few bakeries that keeps that flavor in stock, even in their daily bakery operation. We'll be patrons for a long time!

Nestled in the historic Times Building of downtown Huntsville, The Bakingtist School of Baking is a delightful fusion of science and culinary art. Founded by Heidi Kizer, who transitioned from biochemistry and environmental engineering to baking, this unique establishment offers an array of gourmet sandwiches, delectable pastries, and mouthwatering cookies that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. With a focus on community engagement and fun learning experiences, Heidi pours her passion into every creation.
This is absolutely fantastic coffee shop in downtown Huntsville. The atmosphere is science class room themed, with lab style tables, beakers as flower vases, featured scientists and even a periodic table mural with baking ingredients and a very details key. This is a very unique piece!!! The food is incredible as well. I have had a few of their items already, all of which have been delightful, but the ones with chocolate ganache has been my absolute favorites. The 1/3 lb cookies are also a highlight! Their coffees and lattes are also great, with a lot of rotating drinks, and free refills on the brew coffee! There’s is space to work here, but it’s a bit more energetic and a bit loud. It’s fine to do some studying or work, but if you have important work meetings might need to take them outside. Otherwise this is an amazing place. Best of all, all their staff get paid a living wage, so there’s no pressure for tipping. It’s great to support and shop on local business that take care of their employees. And the owners are super sweet and attentive. This is easily one of my favorite places in town and highly recommended everyone trying.
Martin ( — Google review
My boyfriend and I came in with our four children and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was all delicious!! We bought a loaf of sour dough bread to take home. We got the chocolate croissants, apple pie, the bigger chocolate chip cookies and the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with a fruit cup. Everything was AMAZING!
Savannah A — Google review
Love the backstory, theme, and atmosphere of this restaurant. The baked goods were delicious, my family really enjoyed the chocolate croissant and chocolate chip walnut cookie, but found the filled cookies a bit too large and too sweet for our taste. The same critique applies to the huge, fluffy peanut butter sandwich (pictured), and though not too sweet, the caprese sandwich (pictured) was a difficult task to consume with an average human-sized mouth and the ciabatta roll too tough for a knife and fork. But I will return for the fresh-squeezed orange juice!
Nicole H — Google review
This bakery is incredible. I came here with a friend and her kids & we had the best time. I got the 1/3lb chocolate chip cookie and thought I’d died and gone to Heaven! It was the perfect combo of gooey and warm yet golden brown. The environment is so fun and SO Huntsville - the mix of science and food theming is evident from the periodic table of baking elements to all the lab decor. The staff were friendly & helpful and I love that this business supports living wages! I will be back again & again!
Hannah L — Google review
Oh my goodness we don't just love The Bakingtist we absolutely ADORE her!!!! Heidi and her team are always welcoming and loving to all who come through the door. The science based bakery is its own unique wonder- just check out that periodic table of baking elements! We haven't even gotten to the food- OH MY GOODNESS! Absolutely incredible creations that are oh so decadent and satisfying. There is almost always some new treat and it'll have you on your knees it's just that darn good! Cinnabombs, Monkey Bread, 1/2 Blueberry Muffin, Kolaches- you name it, she has it! Another thing we love about this adorable place- it's kid friendly! A nice walk downtown will lead you to this location where you will forever have your life changed❤️
Sally H — Google review
Update - Heidi has revamped her bakery into a baking school. She is a great teacher and her classes are a lot of fun, I’ve learned so much from her. She perfects her recipes she teaches and shares that information. I’ve really learned a lot from her. I considered myself a pretty good baker, but had problems with consistency, especially with bread. I personally think there is nothing better than a freshly baked homemade loaf of bread. You know what you put in there and the quality of the ingredients. I've taken quite a few of her classes. Def recommend!! Move over every single bake shop in Huntsville! There is a new boss in town. Been there twice and loved it both times. Wow1/2 lb blueberry muffins, monkey bread, apple hand pies, and the colaches are all out of this world. Great selection and customer service.
Debbie E — Google review
Hidden gem in DT HSV. The food is incredible and the coffee is on point. Try the apple filled cruffin...it's awesome! The cookies are a 1/3lb of batter. Huge and delicious. Crisp outside while still soft and gooey inside. Encourage Heidi to start making breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Fresh made bread pockets! Yes!!! Support the local small businesses and give this a try. You won't be disappointed!!
Edward P — Google review
Warm environment with very friendly staff! You can tell that the staff really enjoy what they do by the way you’re treated. That make such a huge difference and made our experience more enjoyable. Now on to the food. That croissant was maybe the best I’ve ever had. It was so buttery and flaky with crisp cheese topping. The cookie was my favorite part of this day. So rich and filled with chocolate! I had to flag down one of the bakingtist to ask what magic was put in it. I was so upset that I didn’t bring any home!

As far as lunch goes they have the best philly cheese steak in town to me. I've not once had anything less than fantastic service. I'm having a hard time branching out to try different menu items, but I'm sure with the quality of what I've already had everything is good.

I found this restaurant searching for dessert options in the area and I came across this hidden jewel. Customer service was superb. Her dessert and food options were amazing. The food was perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming. The price was very reasonable. The outward appearance was appealing and the inside appearance even more appealing. She was cleaning as she moved throughout the establishment. She was working alone, so service took a little longer and I had time. I went late in the evening. I will most definitely be returning and supporting this business. No disappointment. My husband and I were well pleased.😁

Located right next to JJ's BBQ, the setup of the two buildings is quite nice. It was very clean and we received great service. Also, I enjoyed the carrot cake and sour cream pound cake—both were moist and very good for the price. Overall, would recommend to someone looking for a little something sweet.

The owner welcomed us in even though she was closing and made the best shaved ice I have had for a reasonable price! Wedding cake flavor is very good, Very friendly lady!

We loved the treats we got. We got the Carmel cake, snickerdoodle cookies, blueberry pie and sour cream coffee cake! Janice is such a fun person!

Great Harvest Bread Co in Huntsville, AL is part of a 30-year-old national franchise known for its whole-grain breads and muffins made with Montana wheat. The bakery's signature product is the honey whole wheat bread, freshly milled on-site. In addition to bread, the bakery cafe offers cookies, scones, sweet breads, teacakes, biscuits, sandwiches as well as jams, jellies, seasoning mixes and deli items.
There’s nothing like a fresh, still warm, loaf of good bread! Cookies are made with all natural ingredients, including whole wheat flour—and taste heavenly. Delicious freshly made hot and cold breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They’ll let you taste samples too! My dog even loves treats from this bakery!
Nicole H — Google review
Loved the atmosphere, restrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. But the latte I had wasn’t mixed so all the syrup was in the bottom and the temperature was only lukewarm. Didn’t try the food or desserts but they looked good! Would give this place another shot.
Kathryn ( — Google review
Wow! This place hasn’t changed a bit. I used to come here all the time as a little kid and would always be excited to try the fresh bread, butters, and jams. The best item in my opinion is their original oatmeal raisin cookies I could eat one a day and all my troubles would just melt away. However, I was a little disappointed that when trying the fresh bread, they didn’t have their jam and butter section anymore. I’m sure due to Covid and people being more sanitary. That’s just not a thing anymore however it hurts just to have a piece of bread with nothing to put on it. But other than that, I am still so happy to see this place still operating just as it once was during my childhood. Thanks for the entire store staff and the owner for keeping this place running in excellent condition. You must stop here if you’re in the Ann Arbor area and get a cookie you will thank me later!

Grabbed the Spicy Apple Sandwich, it definitely lived up to the hype!! Would buy that baby again and again!! I got an ice latte, they didn’t stir it well or any at all. It wasn’t very good at all. I downed it though, at 6 bucks, I’m not pouring it out. The last 5 sips were good though. I’d visit this place again, and grab a stir stick on the way out. ;)
Adam G — Google review
This is a great little bakery and Cafe. The staff is very nice and they offer samples of their bread and baked goods. I got the spicy apple bacon grilled cheese which was amazing. I also got a cinnamon chip scone which was as big as my hand. I will definitely be going back!
Kristine B — Google review
If it worked for the fully inaccessible website and industrial chic interior, which I’m personally not a fan of though I recognize that’s a matter of taste, I would give this place five stars all around. The food is really good, and very well priced for the quality you get. The staff are delightful, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It’s never been too loud, I just prefer a more cozy and homey aesthetic. But like I said, that’s a matter of taste. This is a favorite place of mine to go before work for a relaxing breakfast and chat with a friend.
Anneliese K — Google review
The food mainly consists of sandwiches, pastries and cookies. The highlight is the bread. The sandwiches are made very nicely and full of fresh flavor. I've tried a few different ones but the pb and j is my favorite so far. The quality is pretty high and appears to be made with ingredients that are mostly healthy...looking at you brownie. The coffee is nothing amazing but it is decent enough. The other drinks are mostly bottled or store bought variants. The service is made with care from a variety of staff. I have yet to be greeted with anything less than a smile and pleasant attitude. This is indicative of good working conditions. Overall atmosphere is quiet and a decent place to hang it for lunch or breakfast. I plan to purchase a full size loaf one of these days, since the bread is made fresh. Average price being about $9 for a loaf and its big thick slices makes me happy. The meals are potentially a bit on the pricy side ($11 for sandwich) but I chalk that up to inflation on quality ingredients and friendly service with the latter making it worthwhile. The food is filling so no complaints from my chunky self.
Shane M — Google review
Wow, I could not put this sandwich down until I had finished it all! I had just gotten off a 12 hour shift and wanted something to rejuvenate me, and by God I got it. I was warmly and enthusiastically greeted by three associates, one of which recognized me from a previous visit. They promptly sought out my needs, and a young woman working offered me to sample one of the cookies they made — a typical practice of theirs! The man working made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. My sandwich was phenomenal! Everything is clearly made fresh and with love. I also got a jalapeño cheese loaf.. you have got to give that a try. Every other visit I’ve had also reflects this experience and my verdict is that you should absolutely give this place a try if you love bread or sandwiches.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for couples or friends looking to indulge in something sweet.
12/23 Update: Went to treat ourselves to some cinnamon rolls and they did not disappoint. We got the classic one and the strawberry crunch one. They were both very good but that strawberry crunch one was something else! The guy working there was super friendly too. Great place to stop by for a sweet treat. Delicious gourmet cupcakes. If you want a well made, delicious cupcake, look no further.

Cupcakes here are amazing!! The cake is soft and the icing for our cupcakes were light and fluffy. I got a strawberry shortcake and my bf got a chocolate coconut cupcake! Couldn't take a picture of his cause he devoured it. Plus they have board games inside it looks so fun
Adriana S — Google review
We walked in 5 minutes after 6pm, they close at 6pm. We were welcomed anyways. This place is such a cute spot! The owner, (I'm so sorry I don't remember your name 😭), was SO KIND!!!! I would return just for his smile and the happy service he provided!! They have an amazing selection of cupcake flavors; it was hard to choose just one! The cupcakes were so delicious and unique, like nothing we've had in Huntsville. The frosting was great, not too sweet, but sweet enough! The cupcakes are like homemade, only better. 😋 I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely return!!!
Nichole A — Google review
This place is AMAZING! The cupcakes are moist, delicious, and definitely homemade not to mention a couple of unique flavor choices. It's also a "build your own cupcake" style which is fun and insures you get what you want. They also serve good coffee. The owner was amazing and helped us pick out what we wanted and didn't rush us at all when we were picking out what we wanted. I also loved the couches with the board games, it was so fun!
Amber K — Google review
I've been enjoying these cupcakes since before the storefront opened and I'm so grateful they've settled in to a permanent location cuz following food truck events is a lot of effort. For them though, it was worth it. Every time I've gotten cupcakes I've gotten a variety and I've loved every single one I've gotten. Since they opened their storefront, however, I've been really enjoying trying their drinks. Coffee is delicious hot or iced. Their ube oreo milk tea is delicious although they were out of boba when I came so I'll have to hopefully try that later. Most importantly, whoever you bring here won't be made to feel like an other.
Peanut P — Google review
I loved my experience here with my partner and the cupcakes are obviously made with love. We had to stop ourselves from eating more than a couple in the parking lot right outside! I especially love the Ube cream cheese and white chocolate base. The owner is a sweetheart that makes the cupcakes with care. My partner and I are so sad that we only found this place a few months before we leave Huntsville. But it’s an awesome place for sweets and a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks (like the sticker on the entrance says).
Jakayla B — Google review
Cute but flavorless and all cupcakes tasted the same; just a different color. Icing is oily and lacked flavor. The lavender lemon cupcake didn’t have lemon flavor at all. Taste like all cupcakes made with unsalted butter. Not impressed. Miss Gigi’s in Huntsville.

Delicious cupcakes! I especially enjoyed the purple velvet; and it was fun watching them being frosted to order. The Americola is very refreshing. I have to go back and try more coffee drinks and more cupcake flavors!

Cookie Fix is a charming cookie shop located near Publix in Twickenham Square. Originally from Birmingham, this sweet little shop bakes a variety of delectable cookies daily, with flavors that rotate regularly. While the classic chocolate chip is always available, there are also other flavors to choose from. Customers rave about the delicious cookies such as Billionaire, Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Caramel, Pecan Sandies, The Presidential, and S'mores Please.
Was looking for something to satisfy our family's sweet tooth and this hits the spot! Fresh cookies that are baked daily, plus you can take frozen cookie dough home! We ended up buying a ton of cookies as we were tourists in the area. Will be back for more of your delicious cookies!
Metesh P — Google review
Delicious cookies and fantastic service! I placed a large order for a corporate event and they handled the order without a hitch. They even helped theme the wrapping with our brand. So many clients complimented the cookies and came back for more! We’ll definitely be using Cookie Fix for our next order.

About 6-7 cookies baked available for to-go orders when I went. They were all delicious! Freezer full of dough for cookies you cam bake later. Service with a smile!
Caroline C — Google review
Cute little place serving some of the best cookies I have ever had. Not sure what kind magic goes in these but they are amazing. I tied the Billionaire...Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Caramel...Pecan Sandies...The Presidential...and the S'mores Please. All were fantastic. If you have a sweet tooth and looking for the best cookies around....Check this place out. The two ladies working in there were nice friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended.

These cookies are the best! Very clean store. Very friendly staff. I look forward to going there whenever I am in town!
Sara N — Google review
This sweet little cookie shop opened up not too long ago. It's right by the Publix in Twickenham Square. I believe Cookie Fix got its start in Birmingham but has made the jump up here in Huntsville! They have multiple different delectable flavors that rotate daily, though the always reliable classic chocolate chip is available all the time, along with a few other flavors. They have a cute "cookie calendar" online that'll help you plan your visit for the day that has your favorite cookie. I honestly was pretty excited about all of them, so I just went when it was convenient for me -- Monday afternoon. I was greeted by the owner and some friendly employees. They helped me pick out three cookies (they doled out great recommendations!) and packaged them up all nice and pretty. Cookies are maybe a little expensive, especially when ordered in smaller quantities, but they're a good size, fresh, and taste great, so I'd say you definitely get what you pay for. You can also buy frozen dough to go if that's more your speed! I tried the Nutella chocolate chip, the peanut butter chocolate chip, and the salted caramel dark chocolate (I really like chocolate, okay?). I enjoyed all of them! They have nice thin, crispy edges but dense, gooey centers. They're absolutely LOADED with goodies (chocolate and peanut butter chips especially) and are extra good if you microwave them for a couple seconds to get them nice and warm again. I liked them all, but my personal favorite was probably the peanut butter chocolate chip. The shop is cute and clean and parking is available in the nearby garage. I look forward to visiting again and trying more flavors!

Only complaint I have is that it’s too close to home and my boyfriend and I didn’t plan to be weekly regulars at a cookie shop… 😉 in all seriousness they have the sweetest staff and I am happier (and heavier) than ever after eating their cookies 🍪

Le Macaron French Pastries Valley Bend is a charming French pastry shop that offers a delightful experience. The owner provides friendly and patient customer service, and the establishment has built up its offerings over time.
An absolute gem! This place is the real deal — serving authentic, handmade desserts, real gelato imported from Italy, and real vanilla bean ice cream made with vanilla from Madagascar. The pistachio gelato uses real pistachios — no fake flavors here! The coffee is fantastic, the desserts are incredible, and it’s the perfect spot whether you need a pre-gym boost or a post-workout reward. Everyone should make it a habit to swing by at least once a week — small businesses like this deserve our support way more than the big chains. Honestly, this place kicks Starbucks’ ass with the real thing!!! Highly recommend!
RJF — Google review
I returned to this establishment after about a year hiatus. They have really built up around this area. It is really one of the nice areas to go to. With that said, I ordered the Salted Caramel and Cookie Latte and regular coffee with cream. Both were very good. Service was average. Place had alot to offer besides coffee like macaroons and other sweets as well soda and even merchandise for adults and kids including a lending library. See the pictures. Also, the bathroom was clean and stocked. Recommend and will return. Until next time, have a great day and an even better weekend! Happy Eating and Drinking!

I need to give a shout out to this little pastry shop in Jones Valley. The macarons we just bought (which I didn’t realize were naturally gluten-free) were just the level of decadent I needed. And the cappuccino was fantastic. I wish I had taken the employees name who helped us but he was very friendly and helpful. All in all, we loved our experience here!

This lovely little French pastry shop is the real deal. We were waited on by the owner who was as friendly as can be. They had several different breakfast offerings that were so flavorful wrapped in the flakiest pastry. The almond croissant was absolutely delicious! They offer every kind of coffee you can imagine and smoothies, too. We were there for breakfast so we didn’t try the macarons but we will be back. The outdoor seating was lovely as well. Delightful experience!

We went to Le Macaron French Pastries Valley Bend, and everything we bought was delicious. I usually go to their bridge street location as our Engel & Völkers shop is right there across from it. I always love to stop by at this place for some napoleon pastries. If you haven’t tried, you should. #ihearthsv #realtormom #realtormomlife #foodfoodieshsv #lemacaronpastries All croissants are HALF-OFF after 4pm every day. Twickenham Treats is a delightful locally-owned spot in Downtown Huntsville that offers a variety of delicious treats. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience enjoyable for both adults and kids. The gelato flavors like dark chocolate, birthday cake, cookies and cream, mint, tutti fruity, and more are all worth trying. The atmosphere is family-friendly with an adorable decor that takes you back in time. They also offer sorbet options for those who are dairy-free.
Really friendly staff, plenty of house-made items, cookies, gelato, popcorn, candy, and some small toys as well. Tried the gelato, very good and interesting flavors. Relatively inexpensive as well. Nice place to take some kids for a treat.

Twickenham Treats is such a great addition to Huntsville! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We have been several times for the smooth and delicious gelato and the cookies that seem to just melt in your mouth. My kids also love the fact that have a candy wall where we can get candy by the pound. This is definitely a new family favorite spot!
Kristen I — Google review
We are so thrilled that Twickenham Treats opened up in Huntsville! Downtown Huntsville has been lacking a good dessert/treats spot. We've been several times and each time has been delicious. The cookies are adorable and the gelato is delicious. They even have sorbet options for those dairy free folks! The Pina Colada sorbet was wonderful. The staff is also knowledgeable about which gelatos are gluten free. While this is a great spot for families with kids (they have a candy bar and a nostalgic toy section), this is also an awesome spot for those who want something sweet after date night or just a week night pick me up.
Victoria W — Google review
Love this new place! I can't seem to get any pictures of my treats, because I start eating them too quickly. Definitely a fan of the sorbets they have. They've done different flavors, but the Pina Colada is my favorite. Love the fresh pineapple in it! The kids toys are a great touch. Classics that bring back memories. Staff has always been friendly and ready to answer questions. Go try it!
Eric J — Google review
As a lover of all things locally owned I was so excited to try this place! It DID NOT disappoint! I’ve been numerous times with and without my daughter. Each time the staff was friendly, offering free samples and ready to answer any questions. Each time I bring my daughter they give her stickers or a glow necklace and really make the trip so special for her! To date I’ve had the dark chocolate, birthday cake, cookies and cream and mint flavors of gelato. My daughter has had tutti fruity and birthday cake. The gelato is smooth and creamy and each flavor is unique and wonderful without overpowering. The cookies are whimsical and they melt in your mouth! Opening in a pandemic cannot be easy but their staff maintains wearing masks and additional sanitizing every time I’ve been there!
Sallie K — Google review
Downtown Huntsville has needed this for a long time! Such a kid friendly/family friendly atmosphere that looks like you've stepped back in time when you walk in! The decor is adorable and they have fun, affordable toys for kids and a wall of candy you can purchase by the pound. Plus the staff is super friendly and attentive! I went on my lunch break and tried the Floral sorbet and it was so good I came back again that night and brought my husband! He tried the banana pudding gelato and I tried the piña colada ad they were both amazing! We will most definitely be back every Friday night for gelato on our date nights!
Kayla S — Google review
I have visited Twickenham Treats several times since they opened. Each gelato flavor is thoughtfully crafted and thoroughly delicious. Staff is warm and helpful, there is always something new to try, and the heart of the wonderful owners shine through the details of the shop. I wouldn’t spend my money anywhere else.💕
