I got food poisoning from the Zen Valley restaurant, and two of our three days here were ruined. The hotel showed no care or concern for my well being at all, nor asked me if I needed any help. When we checked out they did apologise and offered our money back that we spent on that particular meal. However in my opinion both an apology and an offer of assistance should have come immediately upon them knowing of the situation. The staff were friendly, but the customer service is lacking. My impression is that the management here does not have a clear vision or motivate their staff. The bed was comfortable and we slept well (apart from the night when I was being sick). Even without food poisoning, what you get here is not worth the price they charge. Do not recommend.

Not close to the center but the atmosphere is very quiet, the staff is friendly and enthusiastic. There is a bathtub in the room quite large mountain view, breakfast is also very diverse and delicious, rooms range from 1,300,000 to 1,700,000 VND, the price is quite reasonable, not expensive. Many beautiful scenes, next time if I have the chance I will come back. Highly recommended

Had a lovely time here. Beautiful view, nice pool, great breakfast, and the room was lovely. For the price, it's a great experience. The staff was very friendly, flexible and accommodating. I'm not sure why the pool closes at 5pm though, I'd have preferred to be able to swim later.

The price is quite high compared to the room quality. In addition, the location is not very convenient for getting to the city center.

Better then expected stay here, room was very spacious and comfortable. View from the room was amazing, you can see across the mountain range. Breakfast spread was decent, but their tea was just lukewarm for some reason. I would like my tea for breakfast to be hot especially when its about 14 degrees in the morning. Overall a very nice stay here, highly considered for our next trip back here.

The hotel's location is in the best spot in the city, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and since the hotel is situated on a hill, the lobby and cafe-restaurant area are bright and airy with an amazing view of the city. I spent two nights in their best room with a private wooden bathtub overlooking the city, and also one night in a dorm room. I absolutely loved their Vietnamese breakfasts, cappuccinos, and the matcha they served. I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy your stay at this beautiful boutique hotel!

I like this hotel and will miss it. There are some minor fl.. like some ants at the kettle but the young couple owners are very responsive to make amends and friendly. They help make our stay pleasant . They even partially refunded us as some of my family members cannot make the trip at the last minute. While the hotel is nestled in a quaint neighborhood, its starts to get noisy from traffic at around 6am. It is close by the cathedral and Dalat Palace. 20 min walk away is the Lam Vien square.

It has the nice view, nice interior and clean room. Reception staff are very kind and very polite. They can speak English and one guy can Korean also. They made the delicious for me. This is the most memorable place during my trip to Dalat.

Our room was beautiful and was super comfy to come back to after a day of adventuring. We found it was super close to most things we wanted to see and the ladies who worked at reception were super helpful and provided such great service! Beautiful spot for breakfast too!!

Back here for the second time. It’s 10mins walk from Da Lat Night Market and it is convenient and quiet. The owner and the receptionist are really friendly and not to worry, they can speak fluent English 👍🏻 Will definitely be back

This was a perfect place to stay in Da Lat. The rooms are huge! The balcony view was gorgeous. Having the windows open was quiet and refreshing. The family that hosted us was incredibly helpful and kind. They provided housekeeping every day. The linens and towels were all very clean. If you’re looking for a place to stay, look no further! This place is cozy, in a great location, peaceful, and clean.

Super friendly family that made us feel very welcome. The room was huge and comfortable. We could check in earlier and check out later at no extra fee, that was very kind. Also, they had a family birthday party which they invited us to - so cool. Everyone was very nice and welcoming to us. On the last day they invited us for morning coffee and breakfast. Communication was good with basic English and google translator. Laundry was good and cheap, too (50k total). One of our best stays in Vietnam (maybe even the best)! All the best for the family 😊 Highly recommend!

Went here during a trip to the Central Highlands. Staff were really nice and kind. Nice hotel room with comfy beds and convenient amenities. But parking was a bit of hassle. 9,8/10 - 4 stars, RECOMMENDED

Since 6 years I am on the road, going from hotel to hotel, and this one gets the **Top 3 Reward** of the worst I ever stayed! By the way It was the most expensive hotel on my Vietnam trip but also the worst! 1. Booking Issues: - One day before arrival, they wrote they couldn’t take the money from my card. I have no idea which card they tried, but for sure not mine! They also couldn't proof that it didn't worked! - When I arrived, they explained that my reservation was canceled, even though my Booking.com app said it was confirmed. - This was the most unprofessional handling of customer service I have ever experienced in my 6 years of traveling. - Why did I, as the customer, have to solve this case? Why didn’t they honor the booking right away, especially since the hotel clearly had free rooms? - I had to wait 20 minutes until they moved their asses. The receptionist even lied to me multiple times, and the guy next to her smiled as if scamming foreign tourists was his daily job! 2. Misleading Room Descriptions: - I booked a Junior Suite, but there’s nothing “Junior” or “Suite” about it. - The bathroom is a hole with no window. - The room is tiny and nowhere near the advertised 35m². - No hot water—the shower temperature kept fluctuating and didn’t even last long enough for one person. - No air conditioning. - The room was noisy as hell! You can hear every movement in the hotel, and outside, dogs bark all night. If your neighbor throws a party, you’ll hear it as if you’re part of it. As soon the first person in the hotel talks or screams (yes its a family Hotel but then make proper doors!!!) you will be awake! - The door to the room is so thin it offers no soundproofing at all. 3. Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues: - On the first morning, they didn’t clean our room, even though the sign was on the door. - I specifically asked them to clean the floor because our feet were black from how dirty it was. 4. Fake Reviews and Overpriced Stay: - The reviews for this place must be completely fake. - I cannot recommend it at all! Even if the price were only $10 per night, just avoid this place. - Any other option in Dalat will be better!

❌❌❌ avoid this place : We were two motorcyclist, arrived in Dalat and checked this hotel , it shows up on list of 4 star properties (I think this is only a 3 star), I checked the twin price and it was 768k/ room/ night. I couldn’t book cuz I don’t have a credit card. I called the hotel hotline, a lady picked up, I tell her i can’t book and whether possible to book through the phone with same price “768k” and she said yes it’s possible and she even confirmed with me that “I’ll now call my staff at hotel to keep a room for u with that price” I said I’ll be there in 5-10 min. We went to hotel, staff were aware of us , we saw the room, left our box and helmet etc etc, we went down to reception to do the check in and they told us “1400k” I called the lady and she said “No, I didn’t said the room is 768k” absolute lie and monkey business and a scam. We don’t want to leave cuz we unload our stuff from the motorbike and we didn’t really wanted to load up and look for another hotel. We however talk with ladies at reception and they asked for 860k and then agreed with 768k. To the lady who supposed to be owner or manager ; if you’re running a business, try to be honest. The girls and a guy at reception were however very nice and friendly.

It’s located at a pretty good spot close to the central area, but honestly for the hotel itself, there is lots of room for improvement. I’ll list the bad points first so people are likely to read before they proceed with booking this hotel: Cons: - There is no washroom exhaust fan that ventilates the air and steam whenever one does their business or takes a shower. We had to change our room to one with an open window so the whole washroom doesn’t smell or fog up for hours, which would cause the walls and surfaces to mold up. - Adding to the first point, there is an unpleasant sewage smell emanating from what seems to be the shower drain, indicating some issues with the sanitary system. Despite having the window open at all times this did not remedy the smell at all. - Some rooms have a really poor shower design which basically has no screen, so you will be showing right next to the toilet and sink which will all get soaking wet once you are done. - You need to be really conservative with the hot water as it runs out very quick, like within a matter of 3-5 minutes if left running continuously. After that it takes like half an hour to reheat. - There is no air conditioning or heating so those who require certain ambient temperatures to have a good nights rest will have a very hard time, especially during the summer months. The only thing you can request is a room with a fan, but they will be quite loud when turned on. - Walls and doors are not soundproof at all, so any outside noise no matter how minute will be heard. - The rooms could do with better finishes. The walls and ceilings have tons of scuff marks, wear & tear, or poorly done paint jobs. - Parking at the location is steep and can be dangerous especially in rainy conditions. Pros: - Service was really friendly and accommodating. - Breakfast was by no means gourmet fare, but was decent food. - Bedding was comfortable and warm. - As mentioned above, it’s a good location with less than 10 minutes drive to the central downtown area. Hopefully the hotel management can address some of these issues so they can improve their business, as reading through the reviews I can tell much of these complaints are shared by many other guests. As of right now, I would recommend booking another hotel if you wish for a truly enjoyable stay.

I have no words for how great this hotel is! We arrived at 7am after a night's drive and they let us check in early for free. The beds are very comfortable and the room is clean. The nicest people I've met in Vietnam! I recommend the hotel to everyone and the price is great.

Our stay was certainly memorable, though not for the right reasons. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by our room, but we did notice that the bathroom was in poor condition, looking quite run-down. On our second day, after I had showered, the shower door suddenly came off its hinges due to severe rust, causing deep cuts and significant bleeding. We immediately called the manager, who seemed unsure of how to handle the situation and disappeared for about 10 minutes. When he returned, he directed us to his GP, who then referred us to the hospital due to the severity of my injuries. We spent most of the day dealing with medical care and only returned late in the evening. Instead of an upgrade or proper accommodation, we were placed in a smaller room—where, shockingly, the shower door had the same issue. As an apology, the hotel offered us milk and cookies, which felt entirely inadequate given what had happened. Upon checkout, we had to argue for a full refund and to have my hospital bills covered, as the incident was a direct result of the hotel’s negligence and lack of maintenance. Unfortunately, this experience has severely impacted our Vietnam trip, and I strongly advise others to stay elsewhere. Edit: #1: You did not supply me with first aid supplies. I had to use the towel I dried myself off with. We repeatedly asked you to get a bucket of water so I could get glass out of my feet, this came after the third attempt. There were no first aid supplies whatsoever - rubbish. #2: The room you relocated us to was no where near equivalent. #3: The tempered glass broke due to the rusty hinge which collapsed, of course it was going to break via impact if it failed? I was standing well over a meter away from the door when it collapsed. I was stood on the floor matt.

In walking distance of center, crazy house, waterfall, pagoda. The hallways of the hotel are a bit noisy, and also you can hear the water run in all of the bathrooms. But besides that, great place!!

Small cosy home stay for your short visit . Drop star because it was so noisy in the morning from neighbouring rooms and they were speaking loudly from 6.30am- 7.30am + . Conveniently located in the heart of da lat to many of your place of interest.

I would recommend this hotel to all my friends!! The staff in Dalat Eco Hotel are fantastic!! The two guys on the front desk were so helpful, they even helped us book our bus by calling different bus companies. They always had a smile on their face and were willing to help in whatever way they could. This hotel is so clean. The room was spacious and comfortable and cleaned everyday by the housekeeping team. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the Crazy House, the lake and main street.

Probably my worst hotel experience in SE Asia so far. The room is damp, so damp that nothing in there will ever dry and stuff that was dry has a layer of moisture after being in there a while. The bed is uncomfortable as the mattress is hard (and always feels damp), the hotel is loud with people making noise and shouting at 6:30 each of the three mornings we were there. We gave them our laundry, they lost half of it, stained the other half of it and all the whites came back with a yellow hue. All in all, I couldn't wait to leave.

Staying here was quite decent. The room was very clean and had all basic amenities. I changed to this hotel after my initial accommodation (Dalat Family Hostel) was unbearable. Things to note are the stiff mattress and inconsistent water pressure. The scoter rental was very nice; the scooter they gave me was well mentained and clean. They also require your license, which I like.

That's all. - My bed is next to toilet of next room, then every single time they use water in toilet, i hear the sound of water was running. - Reception knocked our door at 11pm to get info about medical clarification (this was mandatory due covid pandemic) - If someone smoked or talked at lobby, the smoke and noise also came to my room although i have closed my room door. It was a nice place and super inexpensive because we were there in the off season. A quick ten minute walk to the center market. The only bad thing was that right nearby there was some sort of marching band practicing early on Sunday morning and a few weeknights. They weren't very good and it's not really the type of music that can ever be good.

the entrance to the hotel is beautiful with plants. the rooms are average. There is mold in several places in the bathroom. the breakfast is really very mediocre. white bread, egg, banana and a spongy croissant. we asked for yoghurt and they arranged it the next day. the staff is a bit clumsy. They dragged our suitcases through the rain on their own side instead of on the wheels. the room wasn't really cleaned either. tea. Not refilled, dirty cups from yesterday were still there. it is not an expensive hotel, approximately €35.00 per night. So hey, for that price you probably can't expect more.

The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful, hospitable and kind, they can speak English in case you need it. The hotel has a beautiful garden and all floors are full of flowers and pants. It's located in the quiet alley, so it's not noisy at night. The room was good and clean. Breakfast is nice, but it's more Vietnamese style. The dining area is also beautiful. The hotel is not so far from the Crazy house and the church.

The hotel is newly built and nicely designed with many indoor plants. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We also like the buffet breakfast while staying there. There were not many dishes but everything was carefully prepared.

The room here was very clean and very pleasant to stay in. The design is nice at this hotel. The service is okay, there was only one staff member who spoke English. It was also clear that they lease out scooters to local tourists but not the western tourists (perhaps they've had bad experiences before). The breakfast buffet is okay with mostly local food options, they could certainly change up the playlist for breakfast which was one short song on repeat while we were there (4 night stay). The fruit and juice options could also be fresher and better. It's well removed from the town centre but in a nice quieter spot, it was however harder to find drivers from this location.

They do not have a shower, only a tub with no doors, just curtains. No Air conditioning. Your only source of air conditioning is the window. Which when you open, you can hear EVERYONE from the street to the hallway and mosquitoes got in. Very annoying. The pillows stinks like sweat. The bed makes noise. Do not stay here.

Location was good and that’s where it ended. It gave off a good impression when we checked in however when we went up to the room there was a massive cockroach on the headboard of the bed. So down we go late at night to change rooms after an exhausting bus. New room no cockroach, but bathroom was the worst on my trip. The bed was rock hard and the layout of the room felt awkward. I did not see the nice vibe I anticipated from the photos or understood the high rating on Google

We were placed in a rôom without windows initially and we were hoping to switch to a room with windows. the manager was able to help accommodate us into a nicer one with windows with of course an extra fee 🤗! The location is great, the pharmacy was right below, and restaurants + cafes were work walking distance. Just a 10 min walk from the night market. Thank you again!

First of all our experience was very good because the staff was very nice, they helped us with everything we needed, in addition we rent motorbike thru the hotel the price was like in any other rental companies and it was very comfortable cause we didn’t need to bring it anywhere after. Rooms was clean, every morning the manager of the hotel welcoming us like it’s first time we got there. I recommend everyone to go there it’s a 2 star hotel with a 5 star hospitality. If I’m in Da lat I would book it again for sure.

Absolutely lovely hotel in a great location in Dalat. The rooms are very spacious, with great amenities, very comfortable beds, and great showers. I was travelling with friends, and we were warmly welcomed by Dao, who really assisted us and made our stay extra special. Thank you, Dao, and to the entire team at Sweet Lavender Hotel. I would highly recommend it, and if I ever return to Dalat, this would be the first place I would stay at.

Pillows are like rocks. Fan very strong blowing on your face not good. Entrance to hotel is a small muddy alleyway. At night, the entire lobby turns into a motorbike parking lot 🤷🏻‍♂️

Location is wonderful. Rooms are nice, spacious, and clean (although our bathroom had a weird smell). Adorable kittens and dogs. But just like another review said - the staff quoted us one price on the phone and charged us another, which left a sour taste in our mouth. It would have been cheaper to use Booking.com than to go with them directly, although they said it would be cheaper.

Very nice place! It is worth the drive to stay out there. It will cost around 6€ to take a taxi from downtown da lat but you can escape into the country side. Don’t forget to take cash though - no card payments, which I think is less than ideal. Please think about offering card payments 😉

Beautiful location. Very serene and natural. The food at the cafe was very nice and there were some vegetarian options, too. Service was great and the rooms were very clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Motorbikes were available to rent and it was a short ride to the city. Really enjoyed my stay.

This cafe is located by the lake, and have a variety of food options. I was not expecting the food to be good because this is pretty much an isolated place from its competitions... But, I was wrong that the food was fantastic! I had a cheese & sausage sandwich for 70K, and it was really tasty. Later, I found out that this cafe has a connection with a famous German restaurant in the city, so the food is supposed to be very good here. The view is very nice on the way to get here, and this place is very relaxing, so it's a great place to visit. Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk here is 37K and it was very good. Overall, this is one of the best brunch cafes in Dalat.

For those who are seeking for a hideaway, calm and charming place, it's highly recommended. The food was very fresh and delicious. The À la carte menu is kind of limited. I wish there were more to choose from. Excellent services. The staffs and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. My room was very spacious and cozy. It has a spectacular view to the alley and the lake. You can also have a good view of the beautiful garden below. Especially if you're a dog lover, this place will be the heaven on Earth.

Beautiful location! This place is perfect for a quiet getaway, and the views from the rooms are gorgeous. There aren’t many shops, cafes, and restaurants around but they have a full menu even with some vegetarian options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, everything from checking in to ordering food to renting a motorbike was very easy and convenient. I will definitely return!

We strongly recommend that all tourists do not choose their home to stay, and do not ruin your wonderful journey!!!The manager and service of this hotel can be said to be the most outrageous and infuriating in my experience in Vietnam and all my travels. First, at 4 pm on the day of check-in, they told me that the guest in the balcony room I booked had not checked out yet, and wanted me to move to another room, deceiving me that it was an upgrade, but it was smaller and uglier. After we strongly refused, they said they would contact the guest to check out, and then we had to wait for an hour before we could check in. Second, they provided a paid laundry service. We handed them 2KG of clothes and paid for it, but when we checked out and opened the clothes we received, we found that 70% of the clothes were stained with pink and red marks caused by super large areas of bleach, and the clothes worth about 400RMB were completely ruined. The most infuriating thing is that their manager arrogantly said that he would reduce our room rate by 10% next time, and refused to provide any solution, and even quarreled with the staff who helped us defend our rights. It was crazy. The loss of our 400RMB worth of clothes was even far more than the cost of our reservation (160RMB), but they refused to take responsibility for it. For this reason, we strongly recommend that all tourists do not choose their home to stay, and do not ruin your wonderful journey!

Nice Hotel Cheap & chill for a room with balcony & valley view Comfortable

Nice view. New hotel. Got a free room upgrade, which was nice. Not too far from the center. The only minus thing is that hot water was not very stable so it was a bit cold during the colder months, especially when traveling with kids. No heater in the room as well, this is worth noting for parents with young children.

I was booking the deluxe quadruple room: it is very clean and spacious room with good price and in nice location. The hotel also offers bike renting service with new model and reasonable price (150000vnd/ night)

We booked this hotel because of its high rating on Booking. Please don’t make the same mistake—it looks nothing like the pictures. Don’t believe me? Look at the photos I took. The room was filthy. There was mold, black stains on the sink, and the bathroom counter had been taped together. The sheer amount of dust in the fan could probably kill a horse. The sheets smelled like someone else’s hair products. The guy at reception was friendly but had no idea what he was doing. We left after the first night and found another place. A week later, I’m still trying to get the refund they promised. Don’t waste your time—go somewhere else. They also claimed the room was hypoallergenic and had air conditioning. However, there was no AC, and the sheets and pillowcases had yellow stains. Honestly, I don’t even want to imagine what those were.

Quite and peaceful neighborhood. Easy to find location. Our room wasn't that clean. There was some hair on the floor from the previous guests and the bed had a funky smell. Almost all of the furniture were screaming for renovation, the place had a cheap motel vibe. Don't be fooled by the photos you see online.

A decent enough hotel in the centre of Dalat. We were there during Tet( lunar new year) so perhaps we need to be more understanding. The hotel was of a contemporary design but wasn’t really very functional. To plug the kettle in we had to balance it on two pot noodles. See pic! The sixth floor was still being finished and whereas we didn’t really mind the noise we weren’t happy that the builders blocked the fire escape. The staff were friendly enough but seemed distracted by Tet preparations and their family.

The room was so full of mold, even the pillows were full of mold. We left after one night. The interior is not as nice as pictured. Lots of stains and scratches. Generally in bad shape. The room smelled really bad and was not clean. The manager was nice and helped us a lot.

Scam hotel with fake good reviews and disgusting rooms. As per the real reviews, can confirm the rooms smell disgusting and are very mouldy and filthy (bird poo, dead bugs), the sheets are stained and the pillow cases are ripped. If you seek to (reasonably) change rooms the boss will try and hustle cash out of you to pay for the “upgrade”, meaning, they expect you to pay extra for a clean room. They also won’t refund if you want to leave rather than give them more money, seems like they know very well what the problems with their disgusting rooms are and are banking on their guests not raising concerns. Do yourself a big favour and avoid at all costs.

Nice place to stay. The location of the hostel was perfect with only 10 minute walking to the centre. We had a private room and it eas basic but very clean. It had everything you need. The staff was very helpfull and we were happy that we stayed here.

Me and my friend had booked a room for 1 night, but we arrived way earlier than supposed to. Stuff was super friendly and helped us have an extra room for the night. Both rooms we had were very clean! Plus, there is breakfast there, and for the price it's really good!

If you want to sleep bring earplugs or look somewhere else. The building it's not noise proof and as the door which function as window as well doesn't keep out the noises. Unfortunately some people still have to learn respect for others sleep! The smoking/common area is right outside the rooms and every night of our stay there was always someone noisy staying up until 1am. Then in the morning you hear noises again from really early! As you can park your scooter inside, people coming and going on scooters even if somewhere is written to please turn on the engine only once you are out of the building. Anyway we loved our room! The lights are warm and cosy, the bed is really comfortable and warm at night! There is a dump feeling as if it's raining it's quite humid. The bathroom was ok and well designed. Breakfast in the morning is from 7,30 to 9,30 and you have some choices, which are prepared at the moment. The location is really convenient, close to supermarkets and restaurants.

The hotel is cozy and clean. When I arrive early at 6.30am, they allow me to early check in by paying a small fee of VND100,000 (around SGD 4.90 or RM 16.00 or USD3.80) which included one breakfast. The room is old but clean. The staff is very friendly and no communication problem when communicate in English. They provided very good breakfast which included one selection of breakfast and free flow coffee and tea. Drinking water is provided (they used water filter). The hotel is near to main attraction which is morning and night market (situated in the same place). Also, coffee shops and eateries are near to the hotel and is in walking distance. The room door is locked by key or padlock. No security issue. However, no safe box provided. There is minor issues eg you will able to hear what our customers is doing in you next room or the room above. In other word, the soundproof system is very bad. In addition, there are mosquitoes in the rooms. You can use the grab car and motor easily. If you want to go coffee shops, eateries and market, it’s is in walking distance.

Cars can’t access the road because it’s under construction. The surface is uneven with rocks, so you can’t even easily roll your luggage on it. If you have multiple bags or heavy luggage, it’s inconvenient since you’ll need to carry them yourself from another corner of the street to the hotel. Other than that, the stay here is good.

Firstly we were charged an extra 100,000 VND per person to check in early, nowhere in all of 3 weeks of travel across Vietnam have we been charged to check in early as our overnight bus came in early. The room is small, no A/C and in our private bathroom we could hear the next door neighbour’s bathroom. One of the receptionist is friendly and helped us book our bus to Mui Ne, the other receptionist is not. Secondly, the breakfast is not good. The little girl who was preparing it tied up her hair several times and did not wash her hands before making our breakfast, so unhygienic! Safe to say we did not eat the breakfast as a result. Location is good however overall I would not stay here again.

I just had the pleasure of staying at Mi Amor Dalat, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location is very convenient for traveling anywhere in Dalat. They have a small spa with nice services and an outdoor coffee area with stunning greenery. Their coffee is excellent, and the yogurt is a must-try. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and created a welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the nighttime gatherings at the garden coffee area. Everyone relaxed and enjoyed grilling sweet potatoes and marshmallows, making for a delightful experience which you won't want to miss. And be prepared to leave Mi Amor with tons of beautiful pictures for check-in and cherished memories! I definitely plan to return for my next trip to Dalat.

Stayed for a week at Mi amor, and received excellent service throughout my entire stay! Both the reception and the cafe staff were super friendly and I highly recommend their yogurt! It has a silky smooth texture and we'll flavoured. If your room is facing the road, it might be a little noisy at certain times of the day due to cars honking or karaoke, but it's at a managble level. Hotel looked very nice from the outside, but after staying here for 4 days, we felt there were a lot of things that can be improved especially for the price point where we could have gotten similar hotels. We initially checked in The good: the bed was one of the most comfortable bed we slept on in Vietnam as it wasn’t the hard mattress. They also provided daily housekeeping ( if you put the tag on the door), they also gave a stand fan in case it was warm since the room had no aircond. If you opened the balcony at night, there will be insects flying in so we used the fan during the night. It was more than enough for us. Room was also spacious enough and comes with a smart tv to watch Netflix The bad: even though it was a newly built hotel, you can already see signs of poor maintenance. The flooring of the room was quite uneven, and there was mould on the walls near the bed. The wiring for the mirror as well was left hanging , and the balcony facing outwards (city view) , was very dirty . This was for room 202. When we checked in, we immediately notified the reception we wanted to change our rooms as the mould on the wall was very unsightly. Thankfully there was another room that was available on new year eves and they moved us there. (Customer service was good for this). But even with the new room, there was also moulds showing under the tv cabinet. For the toilet it had a strong smell of sewer after showering as it seemed the ventilation of the toilet wasn’t working well. Overall, after moving from another hotel with similar price point to this, it was abit disappointing since every reviews here and the booking site were very positive. We hope this review can help future guests to make more conscious choice before booking and hope the hotel can take this feedback in improving a beautiful boutique hotel

Excellent hotel in Dalat! Great hospitality and rooms are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s a nice cozy corner in the entrance of the hotel where there’s a small fireplace. The staff offered us BBQ local sweet potatoes which was a very nice gesture! Location is quite convenient for a 10-15 mins walk to Dalat city centre (where the cocktail bars are) and night market!

Stayed one night here and its a pleasure moment. The room is cozy and affordable, their yogurt is the best i've ever tasted, and the top notch is their staff services. They help us to rent motorcycles, booked the bus, even let us use their room for free (we have check out) while wait for our bus. Absolutely will rebook if I come to Dalat again 💕

Cute and lovely cafe. If you're a cat or dog lover then this is the perfect place for you. The owner is very friendly and helpful, the drinks are delicious - especially the mango tea. Scenery and ambience is quiet in the morning. The animals seems to be well taken care of and get along with each other. Clean bathroom, much recommended.

There are about 10dogs and 15cats here for you to see and chill with. It’s not a bad place if you are feeling too lonely living here by yourself for too long.

It is undeniable that the drinks are delicious, the cafe is well-designed, and the animals are beautiful, but I can only give this place one star because of the way the customers are allowed to treat the animals. We stayed for two hours and saw adults and children manhandling the animals in a way that was clearly distressing them. A girl was pulling a cat's tail while it slept, carrying dogs and cats round for ten minutes at a time by their armpits, people were disturbing the sleeping cats to pick them up and put them on their lap just to take a picture, and then when the cat would run away they would chase them and try and grab them again. Most of the animals were clearly not enjoying being picked up and were trying to escape. People were also disturbing the animals whilst they were eating. It was really horrible to watch and we felt so sorry for the animals. At one point everyone else left so we were the only people there and the cats suddenly seemed to come out of their shells, were playing with each other chasing flies, and being very funny. The cafe should put some rules in place like: 1. Do not disturb the animals whilst they are sleeping and eating. 2. Do not pick up the animals if they clearly do not want to be held. 3. Do not chase after animals. 4. Children should be accompanied by parents at all times when interacting with the animals. They should also have a poster showing how to properly pick up a dog and cat, not just by it's armpits, you should be supporting their whole weight. I also think they should have a separate space for the animals that cannot be accessed by customers where they can go if they are feeling stressed and don't want people around them. If some rules were put in place the animals would be a lot happier and I would easily give this place five stars. I hope the manager reads this review and considers doing so.

I'm staying at room 304 of this "2 stars" hotel. The location can't provide a very good views. The wall is damp, paint drip everywhere. The shower is lower than my head and the sink counter is fake ( they weld it shut). Hopefully this is the only room with problems.

I’m not even going to talk about the fact that the room is got looked nothing like the pictures. Asked for a room for two nights, they gave me a dirty room. I asked them to clean the room and after waiting for half a day I got back to (still) a dirty room. They offered me to move to bigger room and asked for extra money for the bigger room like it’s my fault that it wasn’t clean properly!!! After i told them that I’m not going to pay extra money for it the guy at the reception (i think his name was Tin or something like that) was laughing in front of me while talking to his boss about the situation on the phone. The most disgusting disrespectful behavior i ever experienced in a hotel and im traveling for five months now.

The room for 2 people was small, tiny. Actually the smallest room I've been to in Vietnam. Maybe 7 or 8 m2. Just bed, with 2 tiny pillows. For this price, 350k, could be better. Room has no ac or heater with a window to ventilation shaft. Pros: Very good location, room is clean, hot water, friendly staff.

Solo traveler, and I stayed in the standard single room. - Location: Great, right beside the road to walk down to the lake - Room: small but good for just one person or a couple. The bed was very comfy and slept very well on it. All of the furniture looks new and modern. The shower was great too! Also my room didn’t have windows to the outside but I didn’t mind that as the price was reasonable. If you have a motorbike you rented from one of the shops nearby, you can park it in front of the hotel. - Some improvements: floor feels a little dirty, otherwise nothing much. For those who needThe Wifi was mostly strong and reliable. I needed a reliable internet connection for work and there was no problems. There were moments when it went in-and-out when I was playing games on my phone, but wasn’t an issue. On a last note, the staff were friendly especially the younger guy who works in the morning. He was nice enough to help me book a bus to Nha Trang the same day when my van service cancelled my reservation due to lack of customers. You can also do laundry which costs 10/k per item if you only have a few delicate items to clean. I would stay here again.

I booked hotel here, but don't count that you will be able to have a room. I booked and prepaid with Agoda, I came to the hotel to check-in but the staff told me thay the hotel was full. This caused alot of trouble and headache with refund back, bad service because the hotel told me to call agoda myself and solve it instead of refunding or cancelling the booking themselves. If I cancel from agoda I will not get a refund. Had to make many calls with the agoda service to make this right again. The receptionist blaming the new staff that they didn't know how to run the hotel business and that's why I couldn't get a room. I walked 50 meter to the right of QA hotel and found a very friendly hotel dalat view hotel that was more fresh than QA hotel.

Doc May House has been the best guesthouse we have ever stayed at during our trip. The house was clean, the shower was the best we had in two months, and everything was perfect. There was water, coffee, and tea available in the room. The mattress was comfortable and clean. The owner is the kindest and most wonderful person you could ever meet. We would really not recommend this place. It did not match the description in the Lonely Planet or positive reviews at Booking at all. The rooms were dirty, dusty and there was mold, the restaurant/café was out of service and there were more pets around than people. Although we got a different room after we notified the staff of all the dust in the first room, we still had a bad night. We checked out after 1 night, despite the fact that we had booked 2 nights. We still had to pay for both, and after we left we saw that the staff notified Booking of a no-show. Worst experience in a hotel in Vietnam.

The Family running Villa Doc May, provided an exceptional service, nothing was to much for us to ask. Our room was immaculate, the beds comfy and the hospitality provided is top notch. Seriously if you are staying in Da Lat stay here. Up a quite little side ally within easy walking distance to the markets and night spots it is a perfect location. Also for animal lovers their family pets will give you a great welcome too. Adorable cat and some lovely dogs. We were left feeling very much welcome and at home. Thank you for having us!

I stayed here for two nights and it was one of my most memorable stays in recent memory. Yom, who runs the place, helped me with everything from things to do, places to see, eat, and explore. She arranged for an easy rider tour, and even helped book my car back to the airport. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and airy, even had a small balcony! I hope I get to visit Dalat again sometime soon!

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful location in the mountains, lovely and friendly hosts, good breakfast - omelet with cheese and vegetables, homemade yogurt, fresh hot bread with jams. We spend only 1 night there but it was great experience, it was nice to get up early in morning in quiet fresh place with birds singing and smell of pines. We took bungalow, bed is comfy, there is hot water and they provide towels and personal care kits. Would come back here again

We had an awesome time at Hoang Gia Trang. The cottage is soo cozy and the hosts are really friendly. Make sure to book the dinner there (150k). It was one of the best dishes we had in Vietnam. We can totally recommend staying there :)

Had a really lovely stay, the staff were all very welcoming and I have to say the effort they put into breakfast was phenomenal. Every day something different, with hot coffee and tea available throughout the day! The location is amazing - nestled in the hills outside of the main town - which makes for a nice quiet getaway :) Would recommend to anyone in the area, excellent value for money.
