1Hoi An Beach Resort

Resort hotel
Hoi An Beach Resort is a serene property located between the picturesque Cua Dai Beach and De Vong River. This prime location offers breathtaking views of the expansive beach and lush garden surroundings. The resort provides a range of accommodation options, including well-appointed rooms with private balconies overlooking either the sea or river. With modern amenities such as air conditioning, cable TV, and safety deposit boxes, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay.
We had a fantastic stay here for five nights. The rooms are clean and functional with a large bed. There are two pools, one with a swim up bar. Breakfast had a good selection of international food. The beach is accessible across the road (only a few minutes from the hotel). There are also a number of reasonable restaurants and bars off site if you fancy a short walk. Recommended

We recently stayed at Hoi A Beach Resort for a week and overall, it was just average. The best part of our experience was the staff — they were warm, friendly, and eager to help. Unfortunately, the resort itself didn’t live up to expectations. Our room smelled musty and the decor felt old and worn out. The kids’ pool had visible dirt and rust, which was disappointing though we still used it during our stay. The beach was also underwhelming — large sandbags lined the shore, and there was construction happening just off the coast, which made it far from relaxing. We even came across dog poop in the sand, which was off-putting and not something you’d expect at a resort. We ordered room service a few times during our stay, mostly for convenience with our two-year-old. After trying the Vietnamese dishes the first time and finding them pretty underwhelming, we stuck to ordering pizza, which was at least a reliable option for our toddler. Additionally, the location is a bit inconvenient — about a 12–15 minute ride into town, which added up if you wanted to explore regularly. While we appreciated the kind service, we wouldn’t stay here again; we’d recommend staying closer to the old town for easier access to restaurants, shops, and the charming atmosphere — and just commuting to one of the public beaches on the days you want some sand and sun. The 3-star rating is purely thanks to the wonderful service we received. If I were rating the resort itself on its condition, amenities, and overall experience, it would be closer to 2 stars. We wouldn’t stay here again.

What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy! This resort is the place to go if you are looking to sit back and enjoy the surroundings. The service was fantastic and we were able to have a laugh and joke which made it more enjoyable. The location is a little out of the main town but they offered a shuttle bus service which was very helpful! My favourite part was the hotel dog (I called her Bella) she was so sweet and added a little something special to the resort. Would recommend this place if you need somewhere to relax!
Emilia — Google review
We absolutley loved this resort! From the time we arrived receiving a free room upgrade, through to the very last day we were treated like royalty. The staff are sooo accommodating, friendly & helpful. I mentioned to them that it was my husbands birthday & they arranged a cake delivered to the room, at no cost!! We were in the Deluxe Sea View upstairs room. It was really spacious, the bed was enormous, we had a balcony with a sea view, and a large bathroom with a walkin shower & seperate bath. The facilities were fabulous, the location being beside the river on one side & the beach on the other provided awesome views. Laundry, convenience stores (which also sell alcohol), restaurants, & nail & massage spas are all a short walk away. Paradise :-)
Louise D — Google review
We had a great 3 nights at the resort. Staff are very friendly and attentive, food was good value especially with the view on the river. Only have to cross the road to be the beach. It's not close to old town but that makes it quieter.
Mathew C — Google review
Great resort especially the staff, their service was top. I had hurt my back the day before arrival and they couldn't have been more helpful at check in, offering a change of room to be on the ground floor with walk in shower, I didn't even need to ask. Relaxing river view from our room plus option of the beach just across the road. Two great pools. Free shuttle three times a day to Old Town. First time in Vietnam and would stay here again for sure.
Anita B — Google review
I read all the other reviews and wonder if we stayed in the same place. We went there with our whole family, staying in three rooms. One of the rooms had major problems with the air conditioner on four nights. The air conditioner sprung a leak making the single bed saturated and my grandson had to sleep with his parents. The first night they tried to report it for fifteen minutes and no one answered the phone. When it was finally attended to it did the same thing twice again. Each time they all were woken, had to change my grandson and then squeeze into one bed. In our bedroom the air conditioner was extremely noisy and it took them several nights to fix it. On four occasions our door reader/key card stopped working. In addition, the bins weren't even emptied on two occasions (leaving leftover food in the green waste bin) and three times there was considerable dirt and sand left on the floor. It is apparently the first resort built in the area and definitely needs modernizing. When I mentioned all of these problems I was told that they were very busy???
Craig P — Google review
Great price point for a resort but beware of the following: the resort is right on a busy road. We changed rooms because it was like trying to sleep next to a highway. Also their air conditioning hardly works at all, you can't adjust temperature below 17 even though the room still feels like 25. We got an extra fan for the room and it was still too hot. The beds are old and way too soft. They're squishy and they absorb a lot of heat. Also the hotel had a big event (really loud kareoke) the night before we had to wake up at 5 am for a flight. I wish they had given us some warning about this. Perhaps we would have stayed somewhere else on our last night because it was really irritating. The beach and pool/river are amazing. The food is just okay. Good location. Free shuttle to and from old Hoi An throughout the day, which was nice. Service overall was very good.

Hotel
Oriental Boutique Hoi An, situated in Cam Chau district just 2.1 km from the historic Hoi An Ancient Town, offers picturesque views of the countryside. The hotel provides an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and high-speed internet access in public areas. Guests can also take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service to the city center and beach. The friendly staff and exceptional service contribute to a memorable stay, while the spa services offer relaxation and rejuvenation.
We stayed for 17 nights over Christmas and New Year and will be returning. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were so helpful, always happy to make recommendation and always with a smile. Tracy and her team on the reception, the cleaning and maintenance staff, as well as Lulu, the restaurant manager went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. The breakfast was really tasty and extensive. We used hotel push bikes to get about, the beach was an easy ride from the hotel, being equal distance between the coast and the old town. Most days we walked into the town, but a taxi home at night cost all of £2. The hotel arranged transfer from and to the airport. Well placed slightly outside of the main town, but close enough to local produce markets and restaurants to feel like we had a genuine Vietnamese experience. Having booked a suite, we moved to a garden room half way through our stay as it had a bigger balcony, although the room overall was smaller, both were perfect and well appointed. We can't wait to return and see everyone again... we have new friends at the Oriental Boutique Hotel.

A really nice place to stay at, the room was big enough, but the chair was not really useful and convenient to use to work in ideally condition. The bath must be changed for a modern shower. It’s not the most quiet place if you’re looking calm and serenity. Breakfast was excellent and well-stocked with plenty of options. We had a great time there.
Gaetan E — Google review
The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is also very good (only about 7-8 minute drive to the old town). Tracy from reception was very helpful. She even helped me organize transportation for where I was going next.
Nick M — Google review
Awesome hotel. Facilities are amazing. Free bicycle rental. Beautiful pool area. Ni was very helpful and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure our stay was memorable. Will definitely return next time we there.
Michael W — Google review
Lovely hotel not too big. Very good service at the réception. Bicycle at disposal for free. We enjoyed to relax at the swimming pool. Located at mid point between old city centre and the beach.
Cynthia G — Google review
I had an extensive stay over there and it was incredible. The staff was truly helpful, the place looks really nice, the morning breakfast is well stocked and is absolutely great for European palate.
Baptiste C — Google review
We are travelling with tour group with family and friend, upon arrival we were serve with very nice welcome drink, the bell boys are very helpful to help us carry our luggage to our rooms and also upon check out, the rooms are clean and tidy with a very nice lemongrass fragrance which stay all day. there’s a special person need to highlight is the counter customer service Tracy, she will greet whenever we pass by her, and more impress is she can speak Chinese, she provide us the info that we need, even thought she think that she’s couldn’t help on us, she even approached us upon our check out to provide us further info. Keep it up! Tracy
Doreen L — Google review
We enjoyed our stay here. Staff very friendly and very helpful for all your needs. Not far from old city, maybe around 3 or 4 Australian $$ in taxi, (less in 10 seater for big group shared price). Room clean and comfortable. Wifi signal not so good in the room and no air-conditioning in the gym room but they are only insignificant matters.

Extended stay hotel
Hotel
ÊMM Hotel Hoi An is a stylish boutique hotel with contemporary furnishings located on the edge of Hoi An Ancient Town. The hotel offers bright rooms and suites equipped with modern amenities such as TVs, air conditioners, and refrigerators. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and international restaurant on-site. The hotel's central location makes it effortless for guests to explore the city, while its beautiful courtyard and traditionally decorated lobby hall provide a relaxing atmosphere.
I really enjoyed my stay at ÊMM Hotel Hoi An. The staff were friendly and communicated well — from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team. I especially appreciated how the restaurant staff took the time to answer my questions about local food. The hotel itself is simple, clean, and spacious, exactly what I like. The location was great — walking distance to the main tourist areas but just far enough to offer a bit of peace and quiet, which made it perfect for me. I also spent a little time just sitting and looking at their garden. It’s a simple, unpretentious place, and it feels very genuine. The pool was well-used by guests, which I take as a good sign — it shows people were comfortable enough to relax and enjoy themselves. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and friendly place to stay in Hoi An. I also would stay there again.
Yen — Google review
I had a pleasant 3 night stay here as part of my tour. Rooms are clean and spacious, and are cleaned daily. Breakfast buffet is good. Pool seemed lively. Staff are helpful. Walking distance to the Old Town (or a short Grab ride). Castle Spa around the corner offers happy hour 8am-8pm (30% discount on massages)
K Y — Google review
I had a wonderful stay at EMM Hotel Hoi An. The hotel is clean, stylish, and peaceful, with a great location—close to the Ancient Town yet quiet and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, my room was spacious and spotless, and the breakfast offered plenty of tasty options. I especially enjoyed the delicious Vietnamese set menu meals at the restaurant. The pool area was perfect to unwind after exploring. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An!
Ngoc N — Google review
I have never been so embarrassed in my life. Their service level is very low and they are not helpful. With Limited english. They pulled me up in front of our tour because my make up was on the face cloth. They wanted $30,000 from me. I will never stay here again. No management at all. Very disappointing. Also no liners in the toilet. Not healthy.
Kim-Maree O — Google review
EMM Hotel Hoi An is stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The location is convenient—close to the Ancient Town but still quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is tasty, and the pool is great for relaxing. A very good value and highly recommended.
Hoang ( — Google review
I stayed at this hotel in May 2025. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious and very comfortable. It is in a convenient location as I was able to walk to the shops (tailors, etc), markets and riverside. I used one of the hotel bicycles (free to use) to go to An Bang beach. Happy to recommend this hotel.
Vipul — Google review
Nice hotel. About 12 mins walk to the ancient city of Hoi An. Not near but not too far either. Has a well used pool. Poolside bar. Breakfast was included in room price. Reasonable spread with breads, croissants, cakes, Local food like pho, stir fried pork n chicken. Usual spread of western breakfast including egg station, bacon, potatoes. Salads n fruits. Not much selection of cheese. Butter was disappointing. Coffee was average. Rooms were clean. Hot water was very good.
Denis N — Google review
EMM Hotel Hoi An is such a delightful place to stay. The lovely garden, refreshing swimming pool, and the inviting Spice Viet cuisine made my visit truly memorable - both lunch and dinner there were excelent. The team was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making me feel welcome. My room #218 was spotless, well-furnished, and very comfortable. Best of all, the hotel's location is just steps away from the Ancient town, which made exploiring Hoi An so easy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I will certainly return on my next trip!

Nestled between Cua Dai beach and An Bang beach, Boutique Hoi An Resort is a luxurious colonial-style retreat offering an array of amenities. The resort boasts two restaurants, a poolside bar, spa, and gym. Guests can enjoy the private beach or take advantage of the free shuttle service to explore the Old Town. Accommodation options range from Superior rooms to Grand Beach Villas, with the option of a colonial-style Pool Villa featuring a private pool and spacious terrace overlooking the sea.
Wonderful hotel with great staff and lovely food, on the beach (rather than in Hoi An city). 10 minute shuttle bus or taxi into city (taxi is between £3-£5) and this makes the hotel a relaxing place to stay. All facilities onsite or plenty of great local businesses where you can eat, get laundry done, spa, nails or haircut at local prices. Saying that, the prices at the hotel are very reasonable. Fantastic breakfast selection and very cheerful staff. I'd strongly recommend a stay and want to return soon.
Graham D — Google review
Loved our stay here. This place was a great find. 15 mins from the city centre (free shuttle provided). The pool area and surrounds were 5 star. The deluxe room was near the pool. Highly recommend this place. Would have been a higher rating if the breakfast was better. Still good, but other hotels we stayed at did a better buffet. Don’t hesitate, it’s a great place.
Arthur T — Google review
Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Food lovely and very modern. The Viet Kitchen, literally opposite the entrance, is exceptional. Food was first class and service superb! The price of a meal and drinks was almost laughable, such good value for money.
Garry R — Google review
Delightful, local, luxury resort on An Bang Beach. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to provide information about things to see, places to eat, and other local tips. I especially enjoyed the attractive gardens, the pool, and the beach access. I recommend paying extra for a Premier Deluxe Room with Pool or Garden View. Breakfast was delicious and varied, including plenty of Vietnamese and "Western" options. The hotel shuttle to/from Hoi An was a nice touch, and it's only a quick Grab ride if you miss the shuttle. The hotel staff clean the beach of litter and seaweed each day. The area is protected from fishing. It was also nice for walking along the beach. I can't wait to return for another stay! Only downside: The loud music from the neighboring nightclub was annoying on Saturday afternoon and evening, but they stopped by 9:30 pm.
Jennie B — Google review
Linh made our stay very memorable she is an amazing person and we felt so welcome and she was so helpful. This was our honeymoon so she went out of her way to organise a cake etc. The pool area is devine and the room is nice. The breakfast could have some variety each day as we got sick of the food by then end of our stay as it stayed the same throughout and all of the pastry and cakes were stale and dry.
Sammy M — Google review
We have the most relaxing stay recently and glad we didn’t go elsewhere! Beautiful property with direct beach access location, perfect for our little getaway from the city. Spacious and comfortable room, daily buffet breakfast was great too! Friendly team members who always available to assist you with. Though we had a little hiccup during check-out, it was quickly sorted by the front desk. We really hope to revisit again soon!
C W — Google review
Lovely compact resort with amazing accommodation options. Easy access to the large pool and beach. Amazing food. Friendly professional staff. Great Spa. Offers regular minibus service to and from the Old Town. Few coffee shops across the road that also offer cooked meals for breakfast and lunch. Also a laundrette and small convenience stores.
Ismail L — Google review
Clean. Good sized, tastefully decorated rooms. Comfortable bed. Breakfast spread is excellent. Pool and beach very nice. Get up at 0500 and walk along the beach. Sunrise is around 530 - great time to see locals playing and exercising to start their day - beautiful sunrise over the Cham islands. Beach is safe and clean. Nobody hassles you - in fact these are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people in all of Asia. Xin Chao (hello) and smiles all round. Room service is good quality food. Prices are very reasonable. Turn down service is great. Guests - 99% Caucasian. Many middled aged couples or middle aged couples with children mostly early teens. Civilised atmosphere. Gym isn’t great - just two treadmills, a bike and some dumbbells and a bench - a better gym would be my number one request. Didn’t try the spa. Staff all very friendly and polite. Short ride by Grab (get the app!) into town - cheaper than the hotel shuttle and gets you wherever you want or need to be - literally a couple of bucks. Overall great - would recommend and return. 45 mins to Da Nang airport. Hotel transfer pricing is very very reasonable. Thank you to all of the staff.

This beautiful resort is located on the banks of the CoCo River, and offers a range of accommodation from simple but comfortable rooms to luxurious suites with private pools. There are also a number of facilities for those looking for some R&R, such as an outdoor pool and spa, fitness centre, restaurant and bar. The friendly staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort is absolutely amazing! The grounds are beautifully designed with lush gardens and a peaceful riverside setting that makes it feel like a private oasis. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and filled with thoughtful details that make your stay extra comfortable. What really stood out was the staff—so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing after exploring Hội An. Truly a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility—I can’t wait to come back!

Such a great resort, 20 mins from old town with plentiful free shuttle buses. Nice big pool, plus other daily activities. Perfect for anyone travelling with kids (town can be hectic, this place is a good antidote). The staff really make this place special, they are so friendly and caring, Hung took the time to learn all our names and was always up for a chat. Ly greeted us each morning and made sure our breakfast experience was perfect. I have never stayed in a resort with such individual, friendly service. The family room is large with separate rooms for parents and kids. The bed are super comfy. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay sooo much! Super friendly stuff with always a smile on their faces and the service was in general great. We loved the huge breakfast buffet a lot and the food was delicious. To explore the closer area we just borrowed the bicycles and had a good swim in the clean pool afterwards. To even relax more there is a Spa where you can get different massages and more. A special thank also to Ms. Ly who took care of our wellbeing since the very first til the last minute! Welcomed us every morning with a smile and gave some good advices for the day or even organised something for us.

This resort is a perfect place to recharge after the hustle and bustle of the old town. We were very fortunate and received an upgrade upon checkin and the suite was perfect, overlooking the river. The staff here are amazing. A big thankyou to all especially Thuy who made us feel so welcome and cared for. We would come back for the service alone. It is the little things at this resort that make it stand out for us. From the hand written welcome and farewell messages, the care about our safety during Bualoi and just the level of friendliness by all. We already miss this place and will be back. Càm ơn.
Karen N — Google review
A wonderfully quiet and serene getaway. The absolute highlight was the staff—everyone was so friendly, but a special shout-out goes to Hung. His attentive and warm service truly elevated our entire experience. The convenient shuttle to the Old Town and beach was a huge plus, making it easy to explore. The only slight letdown was the breakfast. While the variety was impressive, the quality of some hot items was inconsistent, with things like the bacon being very hard. Still, this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic stay. Highly recommended for the peaceful atmosphere and amazing hospitality
Brandon T — Google review
Fantastic resort for great family vacation. Every single staff (especialy Thủy, the F&B.Manager) were very friendly and helpful. The resort has scheduled shuttle bus/van to the beach and old town. And they also offer other nice experiences around Hoi An. We stayed at the room with private pool, it was amazing. One of the best vacation we have ever had. We highly recommended and we'll definitely comeback to this beautiful resort.

We spent 6 amazing nights at silk sense hoi an, and we truly recommend! We loved everything about the hotel, the spacious room the lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi and especially the service and staff: The fact that they clean and tidy the room twice a day and meet you everywhere with a smile and always free and willing to help. We wish to thank Ly for being so helpful and sweet checking on us a few times a day, always with a smile. The hotel runs a shuttle to Hoi An old City a few times a day and it's very efficient. They also have a beach club a short shuttle ride away with another great swimming pool. A great combination of visiting the beautiful Hoi An, and relaxing at a lovely resort.

Tucked away in a quiet part of Hoi An, near the river, silk sense was a great decision we have made! Highly recommended if you enjoy peace and quiet and it is a short 15mins grab ride away from old town. The staff and service were great, food delicious, spa was relaxing and vibes were chill! They even prepared something special on our arrival for our wedding anniversary which we thought was so sweet! The smell the moment you enter the room was so pleasing and clean! Special mention to our reception guy, Dat, who was super proactive and responsive to our queries. Thank you and we hope to be back again!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. From check-in to check-out, the staff was attentive and professional. A special thank you to Joy for her enthusiastic and thoughtful consulting. She went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly during my stay. Her positive attitude and helpful recommendations truly made a difference and added a personal touch to the service. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!

From the moment we arrived at Silkotel Hoi An, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location – close enough to the Old Town to stroll in easily, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the little touches that make you feel at home. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of both local and Western dishes, fresh fruit, and great coffee – the perfect start to our days exploring Hoi An. What really made our stay memorable were the staff at the front desk. Also, we really appreciated Lisa the restaurant manager at breakfast, she was very hard working, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was helping arrange transport, giving us great dining tips, or just greeting us with a cheerful hello each day, they truly made us feel like valued guests. Thanks to their warmth and professionalism, we left with wonderful memories of both Hoi An and Silkotel. Highly recommend this hotel, and a special thanks again to Alice and Tina for making our visit extra special!

Great value hotel in an excellent location right on the edge of old town making it an easy 5min stroll to the action. A lovely size room overlooking the pool with a comfortable bed. On arrival we were greeted with a welcoming drink. More information about things to do and the free shuttle would have been helpful. Buffet breakfast was great and the friendly attention from Ms Lisa was very appreciated.

This hotel has a very convenient location. The room was clean and comfortable, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. I would especially like to compliment Phuong and Van housekeeping staff and Lyn receptionists; they were all very friendly and polite, always greeting guests with a warm smile. Their service made me feel truly welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that felt just like home. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit, and I’ll gladly recommend it to friends and family.

Wonderful experience! Clean rooms, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast! This hotel truly has a luxury resort feel. Mrs Lisa, the service manager was super helpful and attentive. I really appreciated her going above and beyond! When we go back to Hoi An, Silkotel will be our stay, hands down the best.

Best hotel to stay in Hoi Ann. Amazing location and great staff. The Silk Beach Club access is definitely a great plus. I highly recommend going since it’s included with the hotel. The breakfast buffet is great as there is always a nice person there Lisa to greet you and make you feel special. Both reception teams are great from the morning crew of Lyn and Daisy to the afternoon team of Lucy and Tina. You can’t go wrong.

We had excellent two nights stay. Service and facilities were perfect. Staffs are so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. It’s very close to old town. There are two pools inside the hotel. Special thanks to Daisy, Tina and Violet who helped us so much and made sure we had a great time

The Mulberry Collection Silk Eco Hotel in Hoi An is a great place to stay for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has an outdoor pool and spa centre that is perfect for a refreshing break. Hoi An Old Town and sand An Bang Beach are both within easy walking distance, so there's plenty to do if you're visiting this beautiful city.
We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every little detail, from the service to the amenities, was thoughtful and made our stay extra special. We especially appreciated the warm hospitality and professionalism of the entire team — it really made a difference. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable experience. We would definitely love to come back and stay here again!

We loved our stay here. Great location- in a quiet area but close to everything. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Breakfast was excellent but overall is was staff that made our stay so pleasant. Everyone was friendly and helpful especially the lady working during breakfast- her warmth and attentiveness was exceptional. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Amazing hotel and staff. Close to old Town. (5minute walk). Staff are so lovely. Especially the restaurant staff and the breakfast is the best ever. Anna showed me how to make amazing iced coffee. Although it always tasted better if Anna made it. ☺️. Best coffee out of all the hotels we have stayed at. Chef 👨‍🍳 makes great omelette. The food breakfast variety amazing and always something different 😋. Rooms/bed comfortable. Have stayed in many hotels in HoiAn this one takes the cake.❤️

A small hotel, but it feels warm and reliable. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. They even offer free bicycles for exploring the nearby Hoi An Ancient Town. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety of drinks and fresh fruit. One unique feature of the hotel is its tatami-style room setup, which gives it a cozy and distinctive feel. The bathroom was also spacious. The only downsides were the dim lighting in the room and the balcony—while large, it didn’t offer any view, which felt like a bit of a waste. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great value for money.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. Although I didn’t use them myself, I saw other guests using the pool and gym. Both the guest room and facilities were very clean and well-maintained. Due to my flight schedule, I arrived at 2:00 a.m., but they kindly waited for me, and the check-in went smoothly. Thank you very much!

Rooms: Need to do away with raised beds and wooden frame of the bed should not be exposed. No lighting at shower area. Service: Staff namely Ken and Daisy were pleasant and very friendly at the front desk. Other staff were courteous and prompt in attending to our needs. All well trained. Location: Strategic and convenient to shopping area. Room 407
Muhammad M — Google review
The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, but unfortunately there are major issues that cannot be overlooked. Reception: Check-in and reception service were flawless – welcoming and professional. Service (–1 star): Beyond the reception, staff were not attentive. Conversations among colleagues and use of smartphones clearly had priority over guests. Only when directly addressed did staff respond. For a hotel of this category, that is not acceptable. Cocktails (–1 star): Drinks at the bar were disappointing – a Mojito, Singapore Sling or Long Island Iced Tea bore little resemblance to what was actually served. Breakfast buffet (–1 star): A serious safety concern. A guest suffered light burns when the bottom of a hot water pot came loose. Instead of helping her immediately, staff were more focused on the commotion. Ice for cooling was only provided after her husband explicitly asked. Even more concerning: other pots at the buffet had already been “repaired” with tape – an obvious sign of poor maintenance and a potential hazard. Conclusion: A very nice hotel in a great location, but service and quality fall far short of expectations. Significant improvements are urgently needed.

Nestled in the heart of Hoi An, Green Apple Hotel offers a delightful stay with its spacious and modern rooms featuring balconies. The hotel provides excellent amenities including a computer station, express check-in/out, and options for airport shuttle and train station pick-up services. Guests can enjoy a lush garden setting, complete with a refreshing plunge pool and complimentary bike usage.
We stayed here for five nights and we loved our stay. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The shower was very powerful and no issues with hot water. The breakfast included is buffet style but you can request fresh eggs and pancakes. Which we enjoyed every morning. The staff are very welcoming and kind saying hello when we leave and come back. The location is in town but not directly in old town, which is preferred as old town stays busy all day and very touristy so staying a 15 minute walk out was ideal for us. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They ordered a scooter for us to use to drive to An Bang beach. The location is walking distance to Ancient Town (good exercise!). They also have a nice pool, refreshing breakfast and comfortable rooms. Value for money! Would highly recommend.

Found this hotel last minute after leaving another. What a great place. Staff are fantastic, breakfast excellent, rooms spotless and beds very comfortable. Plus some great restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Old Town is a 5 minute bike ride (on the free bikes) and so are the rice paddy fields, with the beach an extra 10 minutes. Highly recommend a stay.
Robert R — Google review
This hotel is.. alright? Sure it got the job done in terms of being lodging for the night, but it left us disappointed. No early check in, but at least we were able to store our bags, but then suddenly there was a room available? The owner or man who is at the reception constantly is awfully condescending too. Seems paranoid, always checking on what people are doing as if most aren’t vacationing. The breakfast is also mediocre. You get an okay variety but the food just lacks flavor— leave and go anywhere else in the neighborhood and you will find something much better and worth your money. Pool is nice, at least. But I will note that at the time on Agoda, the pictures of the pool were modified, photoshopping out the neighboring buildings just to put in a sky in the background. What a great way to show how authentic your hotel is… And the worst thing of all was our room. There was black mold CAKED on the ceiling of our shower. Not something you want to breathe in whilst showering or have in your room to begin with. Pick somewhere else, you have options!
Skye — Google review
In short. You get what you pay for, don't go expecting a very high standard of service standards or breakfast choices. It's the same old stuff daily. Language is barrier even with translation. Another point to take note, is that they don't even have Credit card payment options. We were told to pay for tours using hard cash, which is not an ideal option, especially if you plan to use cash ONLY for souvenirs, food, shopping at stalls or shops that use only cash.
KD S — Google review
Spent five days here, had a great experience. The complimentary bikes provided were very convenient, it's only ~5-10 min ride into old town. Several small restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious too! Will definitely be back

Absolutely loved the hotel. Staff is so accommodating, polite and helpful beyond our expectations. We stayed for 2 nights on second night our room was upgraded to a bigger one with a balcony which was a very nice touch. Breakfast is delicious and complimentary use of bikes just added a positive twist to the stay. I would highly recommend. Amazing stay for a very reasonable price.

Amazing stay! Super cute family that made us feel at home, hosts were wonderful! Hosts were so accommodating, anytime we wanted something (rent motorbikes, plan excursions, get recommendations) Vicky was always providing and for a very good price. She cooks wonderful food and very natural. They have fruits in the garden that we could eat every day. We planned to stay only 2 nights but ended up staying one week, and surely would like come back there longer!

I have seen some mixed reviews about this place however here is my honest take. We absolutely loved this place. Me and my partner arrived at 5am in the morning and we were able to enter and drop our bags off aswell as being able to check into the private room we booked at 10am! (All be it this won’t be the case for all bookings). The villa was lovely with well maintained pool and large seating / communal area and the room was clean and well maintained. The main reason why this place is amazing is because of the owners. The family that live and run this Villa are absolutely lovely and some of the friendliest kind people we have met so far. They helped with recommending things to do in Hoi An aswell as assisting us in booking a bus to exit. The lovely lady also took lots of time out of her day to talk to us and give us the best experience possible! Highly recommend this place!

My partner and I recently stayed here and wow we were absolutely blown away with how personable and hospitable Vicky was! She is nothing but selfless and kind, always willing to help us find places to eat or explore. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. She has bikes to use and the pool was amazing on hot 36 degree days! We will definitely be back, this felt like a home away from home. Thank you Vicky!

Our stay here was perfect!!! The room was big, clean, the bed was so comfortable - the most comfortable we've slept in on our travels. Vicky was an exceptional host, very attentive and helped us plan lots to do in the area. Laundry service (reasonable). Vicky provides free bikes to ride to the centre, about a 40 minute walk to the old town - a nice walk. But we rented a scooter which Vicky also helped us sort. You will not regret staying here, we would love to return one day :)

If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't miss it. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two days, but we would have loved to stay at least a week. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is also clean, and the owners are incredibly friendly, always willing to help. And finally, their food is delicious; the breakfast feels like home. You can also rent a motorbike with a good price and bicycle, is not in the city center but the location is perfect is you want to be away from de crowd, highly recommended!!

The best ever! Vicky was the best host ever! Room , service, location , and everything were like 5 star hotel but in a Homestay! She went above and beyond booking us the bus tickets and taxis etc! Loved this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They gave us a map and explained the best places to go when we arrived. Rooms are large and clean. Location is two minutes walk from the old town where there are a ton of places to eat and drink and a lot to see. We were there for four days over the Lunar New Year and had a fantastic time. If you like the beach it is a short Grab ride away.

Not so clean rooms. Even new rooms have long hair even on the bed. Bathroom too. I had to wash the bathtub again before I fill it up. Only one complimentary drinking water bottle and even that was not refilled next day. Construction noise during day time so naturally you might want to wake up early and go out. Pool is clear but I don’t see if the pool pump is on or not. So we didn’t take a dip thinking not so hygienic. Room bathroom sink drain is not so good. The drain has a funny stopper you literally need to hold up until sink drain the water. Hand wash smells ammonia. May be it’s the papaya aroma gone bad. Bidet shower is on the wrong side and if you get it to your right side the tube gets bend and you don’t get good water pressure. Cupboard shelves are not so clean so we didn’t even unpack our cloths. Just kept inside the luggage. Only plus is the location I say.

Charming Stay at Thanh Van Hotel – Heart of Hội An, Full of Warmth 🏨🌸 My stay at Thanh Van Hotel in Hội An was absolutely delightful. Located just a short stroll from the Ancient Town, this charming boutique hotel is a hidden gem full of character and comfort. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated with a traditional Vietnamese touch, and come with cozy beds, strong A/C, and clean bathrooms. Some even offer pool views or balconies—perfect for a peaceful morning coffee or romantic evening breeze. But what truly makes Thanh Van Hotel special is the wonderful staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile—whether it was arranging a tour, giving local tips, or offering a refreshing drink after a hot day of sightseeing. 💖 The indoor pool is a lovely bonus—great for cooling off after exploring Hội An’s lantern-lit streets. Breakfast was fresh and delicious too, with both Western and local options. If you're looking for a centrally located, affordable, and heartwarming place to stay in Hội An, Thanh Van Hotel is the one. I left with a smile and sweet memories. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

We were greeted by the lovely reception staff who kindly upgraded our room for the night, which was a wonderful start to our stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient — surrounded by plenty of food options and cafés, and only about a 10-minute walk to the Old Town. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The only downside is that the hotel sits right on the main road, so it can get quite noisy at times with cars and scooters passing by honking. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay and will stay here again.

Hoi An Four Seasons Villa is a luxurious retreat located north of Hoi An, with a design inspired by the grandeur of Emperor Tu Duc's 19th-century imperial dynasty. The stand-alone villas reflect traditional Vietnamese homes and offer modern comforts like soft linens and sunken bath tubs. The resort features the restored Ha Temple, adding to its serene ambiance.
The location, rooms and facilities were all amazing. The view over the rice paddies is breathtaking while you take a relaxing dip at the lovely swimming pool. But above all the friendly staff is what makes the difference. Special thanks to Lien for being extremely accommodating and helpful with us from day one till the end. She is a good English speaker too which is not always easy to come across and this helps when dealing with tourists!

Peaceful stay in the middle of the rice fields. I spent one night at Hoi An Four Seasons Villa and really enjoyed the quiet location. The room was clean and cozy, and the pool area is a highlight — private, relaxing, with a view over the rice paddies. They don’t have a full restaurant, just a small breakfast, which I didn’t try as I preferred to eat out. The host was warm, helpful, and spoke good English, which made things easy. Perfect for a calm retreat away from the tourist crowds.

Lovely little Hotel in private Hands. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast specially prepared on personal request. Affordable beverages cooled in a fridge. Garden is illuminated at night. Poolside is awesome - our children loved it. Nice landscape view from the pool to a large rice field. 20min walk to the old town of Hoi An which is one of the most beautiful old towns we have seen in Asia! Definitely a recommendation if you are around!

The location was excellent, but unfortunately, the front desk experience was very disappointing. The chubby woman at reception was consistently rude and unhelpful. During check-in, she made no effort to assist us and even seemed to try to skip the welcome drink and welcome fruit that were supposed to be included. At check-out, she was reluctant to help with our luggage and acted as though everything was a bother. Her attitude left a very negative impression and really brought down the overall experience.

This villa is located in the middle of the peaceful beautiful paddy fields, you can even walk along the small narrow paths between the fields to fly a kite or basically enjoy the authentic Vietnamese scenery My family paid a visit 3 years ago, and to be honest, we thought the interiors would be a bit old when we were considering which one to book for our trip. Surprisingly, everything is perfect with high quality furniture: 43-inch TV, clean swimming pool, comfortable beds... The hosts are super friendly, they welcomed us and always ready to support us during our trip.

This is a beautiful, quiet, special hideaway spot that's perfect for wanting to unwind. The people are extremely nice and accommodating, and you will be treated very well here. When I first came in, I was exhausted from my flight and a bit nauseous from the drive from Da Nang with all the stops and starts and honking. I was greeted with some of the best calming tea and fresh, delicious cut watermelon. There's lot of trips you can arrange, although I can't speak to them because I ended up just relaxing and wandering the city and beach. It's a very great location not too far away from the Old City - just a 20ish minute walk and you can also bike if you like. There isn't a hotel bar, but the refridgerator has fairly priced beer and drinks if you would like that. Seems great for families, too - no loud and young party goers while I was there. The only complaints one could have is yes, there are chickens, but I don't think they are too loud or obstrusive unless you're really sensitive to that sort of thing. The shower was a bit temperamental, and I almost scalded myself a few times, but aren't all of our showers at home like that, too? I would definitely recommend staying at Hoi An Four Seasons Villa for anyone wanting to enjoy and explore Hoi An without too much hustle and bustle.

I had such a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming. What stood out the most was how helpful and organized they were. They arranged tours and taxis for me with zero hassle, making everything so easy and stress-free. It was such a relief to have that kind of support while traveling. Great little hotel with really helpful staff. We contacted them on WhatsApp before arriving, and they arranged our transfer. When we decided to stay an extra night, they moved our luggage for us and even let us borrow weighing scales. One of us left a makeup bag behind, and they quickly arranged a Grab to get it to the airport. The fresh eggs each morning were delicious and cooked perfectly to our liking. Excellent service and great value!

We had a lovely stay. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. They always go above and beyond, offering assistance when they get the chance. They even let us work at night in the lobby and they were always kind. Room is bit old but clean, but it has that rustic feel to it which is hoi an’s character. They even recommended places we could see when we arrived, and also assisted us in booking a car going to the airport. Thank you!

Vaia Boutique Hotel Hoi An is an ideal pick if you’re seeking clean, stylish rooms with personalized hospitality in a serene setting. The amenities—including pool, bikes, and thoughtful extras—plus its proximity to both the ancient town and the beach, make it an excellent base for a relaxing or romantic getaway. They also give a departure gift of the yummiest baked coconut crackers which I’ve munched on endlessly. All the female staff of the hotel are incredibly sweet and helpful.

The food was fantastic for breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit, pancakes, bacon, eggs, traditional soups and noodles, juice, coffee and toast. The staff cleaned our room every day without us asking and even gifted us snacks for our trip to the airport on departure. We had the most amazing time here.

We originally booked 2 nights but extended right on the first day because we loved it so much. The rooms are spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, the pool is lovely, and the location is perfect: quiet but only 10–15 min walk to the old town, and 15 min by free bikes to the beach. Breakfast was delicious and even included special requests like oat milk. Everything was super easy – from organizing spa visits with shuttle service to renting an e-scooter. What made our stay truly special were the staff, especially Phuong (and also Long). Phuong was incredibly kind, warm, and caring – she organized a surprise birthday cake, gave us the best local tips, and always made us feel welcome. Thanks to them we had such a memorable time. Hoi An Love.Ly Hostel is a charming accommodation that seamlessly combines a cozy atmosphere with an elegant touch, making it a sought-after choice in Hoi An. Nestled in the heart of downtown, the property offers proximity to various attractions while enjoying a tranquil setting during evenings. The hostel provides immaculate private and dormitory-style rooms with simple yet tasteful decor and abundant natural light. For an authentic local experience and a homely ambiance, Love.
This might be my favourite hostel I’ve stayed in in south east Asia so far. We stayed in a mix bed dorm with 6 people and it was super spacious with no bunk beds and an en-suite. The bathroom was nice and clean and there was a really lovely communal area downstairs. There are activities each night, the family dinner is particularly nice and such a nice way to meet people as is the game night. It is not a party hostel but a nice chill social hostel that I would HIGHLY recommend. The staff were so helpful- as soon as we got there we had a run down of all the recommended places for food and the activities we wanted to do which was AMAZING. Could not recommend it enough!!

Could not have stayed at a better Hostel in Hoi An. I did not want a party hostel but still wanted some sort of atmosphere. It’s a very homely feeling here. (You can also keep to yourself if you’re after that too 🙂) The staff were exceptionally helpful and gave STELLAR recommendations (check out Sniff Cafe 😍). Special shout-out to Hoi (she’s a tailor herself!) for all her patience, guidance and directing me to the best place in Hoi An to get my suits done. She gave me tips and pointers to not fall into the common tourist traps. Oh and of course the rooms were spacious, comfortable, great value AND they clean the ensuite bathroom every day!

It was a really Love.ly stay;). It's a 5 min walk to the Oldtown where all the tailors and restaurants are. The personal was so kind and always happy to help. They made us feel very welcome. Especially in the evening there is ether family dinner which is delicious or the game night with a lot of fun games. It is really easy to get to know everyone. Also the rooms were really clean and the facilities as well.

My favourite hostel yet on this trip of 4 months in SE Asia. Staff are the best. Perfect amount of social with the family dinners and card game nights. Beds are comfy and not bunk beds!! But have curtains- so you don’t have to share with anyone and you have your own space. Loved every moment here and I couldn’t help but come back 3 separate occasions. I stayed a total of 8 nights. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Hoi An

A lovely hostel! Hoi is so friendly and knowledgable and a great family feel. Easy to meet other travellers and lots of great recommendations. Rooms are nice and clean. We took the hostels easy rider tour to Hue and it was a real highlight of my trip so far, would highly recommend booking this with them.

I cannot stress enough how lovely and friendly this hostel is. I have learnt so much about Vietnamese culture, games, people. The staff Hỗi and Ly are incredible, when I say incredible I mean that they single handedly made my stay in Hoi An. I mean that earnestly. From the vibe and immediate information regarding local places to eat and try things out, it is high quality. There is always someone at the desk from 06:30 till late. The breakfast is lovely with nice choice and family dinner/Vietnamese lessons are lovely ways to have a good conversation. By far this is my favourite hostel I have stayed in and I extended multiple nights due to the hospitality here. Cám ơn Hai Chi!

One of our favorite hostels in SE Asia!!! Hoi, a true gem, is an incredible, all-around wonderful and insightful gal! She will help you select the best place for your tailoring/coffee/adventure needs and even teach you how to get the best deal! The hostel is social with a lot of fun nightly activities! Hope to come back one day!! Thanks again!

Bonsai Villa Hoi An is a charming accommodation located in Tran Trung Tri, Cam Nam. The villa offers an array of amenities including an outdoor pool, restaurant, breakfast service, child care facilities, and laundry services. Guests can expect comfortable rooms starting at $33 before taxes depending on the season. The location is ideal for exploring the bustling old town and its surroundings while providing a peaceful retreat.
We loved our stay at the bonsai villa. Autumn and Duc did everything they could to make it stay comfortable and pleasant. The bonsai trees are beautiful to be around, the pool is well kept, and breakfast is pretty good! Location wise, it's an easy walk into Old Town, but if you're staying a little longer and driving, staying here means every trip requires driving through Old Town traffic, which is not fun. It's also a longer drive to the beach, about 15-20 minutes. But for walking or riding a bike to explore Old Town it's perfect. And you get a better glimpse of the day to day and culture of the people who live here, rather than just staying in old town. We stayed in several different rooms (4 I think, over 2 stays) in our time here and they were all nice! Some better than others, some with little quirks, but all comfortable and clean. The only real issue we ran into was internet. It went down one night while we were there, and in one room we stayed in it was really spotty, dropped one video call I was on about 4 times. The property itself isn't very buggy compared to other places we've been but you still might want bug spray if you're eating grab at a table in the evening. Autumn is very fair and friendly, and will give you a good deal if you're trying to stay a little longer! I highly recommend Bonsai Villa!

Clean comfortable and spacious rooms set around a swimming pool in a quiet garden in a residential area. Good air con and breakfast; familiar feeling. Short walking distance to Hoi An historic city. The english speaking landlady is super efficient, helpful and kind and can assist for any need, including transfers, tours, laundry etc.

If you’re wanting to stay in Hoi an & you don’t want to be right in the centre of the old town this place is perfect for you. We stayed here for 5 nights & it was perfect. It was a short 7minute walk over the bridge to old town where it’s all happening! It’s very quiet throughout the night. Family run business, extremely friendly and very welcoming. The women that runs it gave us some great recommendations for food places as well as organising us a bike tour around Hoi an. We all loved. For breakfast you order the night before off her menu and they cook it in the morning! Was delicious. Had a good offering to choose from. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.

It’s a beautiful staying here and the host family is super friendly, helpful. They tried their best to make our trip better. Breakfast has many options, ordered direct to reception one day before so they can prepare it fresh. Autumn gave us recommendation how to get a cheap ticket for lantern boat since we have a big group, we used their transport to the airport after check out, the driver spoke excellent English and nice. Location isn’t far to the town center unless you have kids, you may consider. (Our group has 3 kids so it’s a bit hard to walk around all the time when the weather is so hot and depend on taxi) However the villa is located away from the town around 950m, it’s quiet and peaceful to relax. P/s: there is no lift here in case you have big and heavy baggage, you do need a mosquitoes spray.

Hats off to Autumn and Duc for a truly flawless stay. This hotel really blew our minds. A tranquil bonsai garden and a peaceful area to unwind and retreat from the busy streets of Hoi An. Rooms were very spacious, with great AC and nice hot showers. Breakfast was delicious each morning with plenty of choices. I will stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed for a week at Autumn's Bonsaï Villa and absolutely loved it. The place is peaceful and comfortable. Our room was huge and the bed was large and very cosy. The pool was perfect to relax in after long days exploring. One thing we really appreciated was the laundry service, available for just a few euros – very convenient and well-handled. Breakfast was generous and of excellent quality. Autumn also helped us organise a day trip to Huế and the Imperial City with a private driver, which was fantastic. This family-run hotel made us feel truly welcome. It's only a 10-minute walk to the city centre, just across the bridge – close enough to everything, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the noise. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Eva S — Google review
I am sure there are lots of amazing places to stay but we had the most wonderful stay at Bonsai. The room was enormous and was a welcome change to the smaller city rooms. Autumn was always there to help us and she was a fantastic host. Bonsai is only a ten minute walk into the Old Town and 2 mins by Grab taxi. And yet the hotel is so quiet and calm. The breakfast had a great choice and was delicious. The pool was big enough to swim a few strokes and was so welcome in the warm days. My girlfriend always requests comfy beds and she was thrilled with the beds here. Good pillows and so comfortable. Highly highly recommended.

Guests can enjoy room service, a restaurant, and a bar, as well as activities like scuba diving and snorkeling. The property has received high praise from previous guests for its great location overlooking picturesque rice fields with free-roaming buffaloes and birds. The cozy rooms are tastefully decorated and the property offers a beautiful garden with a chill-out area.
Nicola was a wonderful host, the check-in was easy, he responds quickly, and he also let us leave our bags at his place long before the check-in. He is very talkative, open, and energetic, we had some nice talks. He also gave us tips for local foods and restaurants to try, with a lovely Italian accent. As a bonus, his family has a lovely chubby dog rolling around. If I ever return to Hoi An, I would definitely stay at his place again!

I wish I could give more stars to La Terrazza. I did an extended stay here, 3 weeks, and can not tell you what a great experience I had here. Nicola is a fabulous host and his wife is a great treasure. My room was clean and comfortable. I opted for the breakfasts and NIcola's promise was to not give me the same breakfast twice. The food here was some of the best I have had in my life. The ambience is peaceful and quiet yet close to the Old Town, a 15 minute walk. I didn't want to leave when it was time to go. If you are looking for a unique experience in Hoi An, in Vietnam this is the place. 10 STARS TO LA TERRAZZA, NICOLA AND TRAM.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nicola's beautiful home, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Nicola's kindness and humility made us feel incredibly welcome. His warm hospitality truly set the tone for a memorable stay. Nicola's home is stunning, nestled in nature, providing a serene and picturesque setting that instantly felt like home. The house is beautifully maintained, combining comfort with an aesthetic charm that made our stay exceptionally pleasant. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed and well-kept, reflecting Nicola's dedication to creating a comfortable environment for his guests. Throughout our stay, Nicola went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. Whether it was providing local recommendations, ensuring we had all the essentials, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, his support was invaluable. His attention to detail and genuine care for his guests made a significant difference in our experience. The amenities at Nicola's home are top-notch, with all the basic necessities readily available. We never encountered any issues during our stay, which made it incredibly relaxing and stress-free. The peaceful surroundings in nature provided the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. In summary, our stay at Nicola's home was nothing short of perfect. His kindness, the beautiful and well-maintained property, and the seamless comfort we experienced made it a standout experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Nicola's home to anyone looking for a tranquil and welcoming retreat.

Green Garden House is a 3-star bed and breakfast located in Hoi An, just a short distance from popular attractions like Hoi An Market and Old House of Tan Ky. The property offers convenient amenities such as airport transfer, 24-hour reception, and housekeeping. Additionally, guests can take advantage of the free car park and on-site barber shop. The accommodation is situated in the Hoi An Ancient Town district, within walking distance to Japanese Bridge and other landmarks.
We stayed with Jenny and her family at green garden house for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived they were so welcoming. We arrived in Hoi An very early in the morning from the overnight bus, although our room wasn't available she made sure that we could have a different room earlier to shower/rest which was very much appreciated. The location is perfect walking distance to the old town/central area. We also got many clothes tailored by Jenny & her family (men's 3 piece suit, linen trousers/shorts, women's pant suit, linen dress, satin dress) for a good quality and price. We are very happy with the finished clothes, Jenny is very particular with the tailoring and she knows exactly what needed amending to achieve the perfect fit. Thank you!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The family that runs it are super nice and helpful. It’s in a convenient location, really tidy and clean, and great value. A nice place to stay while in Hoi An. Mdm Trihn & family is friendly and helpful. My husband & I made dress and shirts with her too. Made small leather bags in a leather shop nearby and get them delivered to the homestay. Will surely return in future when time permits

We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms had everything you’d need and were relatively cheap. The host was really friendly and can even arrange transport to/from Da Nang for cheaper prices than Grab. The only improvement I can think of is having thicker blackout curtains, as come 6am the room gets quite bright and wakes you up.

Unity Villa Hoi An is a laid-back hotel in an elegant mansion with an outdoor pool and sundeck. It's located just outside the old town, a 4 minute bike ride or 8 minute walk away, and has minimal noise.

Staying here was like stepping into a horror movie. The room was revolting. mold clung to the walls like a science experiment gone wrong, and the air reeked of damp decay. Every surface felt grimy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. To make matters worse, the service was appalling. Staff brushed off our complaints with indifference, leaving us to endure this nightmare. This place is a breeding ground for filth and neglect. Avoid it like the plague 😰
Sofia G — Google review
To sum up: Don’t run SPRINT! The place looks run down but that’s not the problem. The problems are with the hygiene, the service and lack thereof management. The room I received was unacceptable. It looked nothing like the picture they have on the app. It looked so run down. The walls were moldy. I understand Vietnam is humid but that place is just horrendous. The bed was just appalling. Full of hair and even PUBES?!? The towels were dirty and even have pubes stuck on them?? The pillows were moldy. The toilet seat was dirty. The sink was covered with hair. Probably someone shaved there and they didn’t clean the room at all. Trash was thrown under the bed. When I opened the closet, voila, more trash and more mosquitoes flew out as if there wasn’t enough in the room already. To make matters worse, the service is just irredeemable. The hotel owner was very hostile. He was only interested in getting payment. Management is probably a never-heard-of concept to the man cause he didn’t care about the place or its cleanliness or anything at all. I don’t think they even have someone cleaning after the rooms at all. Honestly the streets were more appealing than his hotel. I cannot look past the disgusting room and outright rude demeaning attitude from the owner. The man is just filthy. Save yourself from interacting with him by booking another accommodation!! I rather spend money on other local businesses in Hoi An where they actually respect not only guests but people in general.
La F — Google review
Had booked for 4 nights but left after 1. Unfortunately the bedding and towels were damp and had not been washed. There was mould in the corner of the room and a bug in the bed. The owner was smoking inside the lobby which I think reflects his approach to the cleaning of the rooms. Agreed to pay for two nights despite only staying for one and was overcharged but didn’t want to upset the man who had both our passports locked in his desk. Don’t trust other positive reviews on here as it’s obvious the owner is leaving them himself. There are many nicer places to stay in Hoi An for the same or less money
Jack A — Google review
We had a brilliant 3 night stay at Unity Villa. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed including a balcony, a fridge a closet with hangers and sizeable beds. The shower was more than pleasant which is a dream come true for backpackers! The pool was great and the villa is located in the same street as a coffee shop and just 10 minutes from the beautiful old town. What really made our trip was the kind and helpful owner and his family. We noticed our aircon wasn’t working and he was very attentive, he apologised profusely, he called a mechanic soon after being informed and the issue was resolved swiftly. The owners always said hello and told us to enjoy our day. I’d strongly recommend Unity Villa, if i’m lucky enough to return to Hoi An i’ll be staying here again.

Canadian tourist here. Lovely and budget conscious spot. Just a short bike ride away from multiple world heritage sites. THEY KNOW AN EXCELLENT TAILOR. Your choices for tailors will be overwhelming. Go to their cousin at blue gecko, ive compared prices and she cant be beat. We went to the golden gate bridge, and we arranged our car through them, and again excellent value. The car waited for us while we toured, driver took us all the way to the gate, and all for the price of a grab. The rooms here were great. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Very friendly owners, with lots of tips and advice. Just ask! Try the coffee spot breakfast joint next door. It was another 5 star experience.

Honestly, I never seen anything like that before. It won’t be difficult to find something better, sleep in the street if you want, it’s cleaner than the room I rent.

At first I was a bit on the fence about being away from the hustle and bustle but this place was great and a 10min walk is needed when you’ve been lazying about. The most homey place near the beach. The level of attention to detail of the owners of this place is mind boggling. Not only are the bungalows really nicely designed, but the care provided by the family rubbing this homestay is unlike any I've seen so far. The place is a 10m walk from the main part of An Bahn beach, so it's very peaceful. The family runs a couple of standard bungalows, two deluxe ones and one studio. The latter 3 are slightly larger and more secluded, having more privacy. The breakfast is really good, the Bahn Mi baguette being the favourite. As a bonus, the family owns a bunch of recliners on the beach, so there's always one for you 🙂

Family of 7 stayed here for a week. The houses are very well decorated and outdoorsy, and the people who manage it are wonderful. As you have most likely read from the other reviews, host Huyen was a delight to work with, helping us with recommendations on where to go, to eat, and call taxis. The houses are a few hundred metres from An Bang beach, and there are a number of cafes and bars along it. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with lots of options and are quite tasty. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, beachside vacation.

What an amazing Homestay this was, the place was well looked after, very clean and a perfect size for two. The breakfast was made fresh every morning, you write your breakfast choice down the night before and what time you want it and its served on your own table in the garden. Hueng the lady who runs it with the family was fantastic and couldnt do enough for us throughout the whole stay. They also serve food and drinks on they're section of the beach, which is under 2 minutes away. Cant recommend this place enough.

I have to say that after spending 13 days traveling around Vietnam this place has won my hart. The environment is amazing, the place is like being in a jungle, it is a magical place. The beds and the rooms are fantastic, they have a very nice rural touch that makes it special. Also the food is very good quality and tasty. But over all things the treatment that the host gave us made us feel like if we were at home, she treated us like kings.very recomended.

I had an amazing stay at the Home Farm Villa. Mrs. Phuc was the perfect host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. We got along wonderfully, and her hospitality truly made the experience special. Unfortunately, my tight schedule didn’t allow me to stay longer, but if I ever return to Hoi An, this homestay will be my first choice without a doubt.

It's absolutely beautiful, and an excellent value. It is family-run, and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. You can choose from shared or single rooms, depending on your budget. At the time I stayed there, a small, delicious breakfast was included. It's located outside of the main area of Hoi An, so you can see a bit more of the landscape. Though it would be nice if there were more hooks for towels in the bathroom (I stayed in one of the shared rooms).

Loved staying here. Was blown away by the design of the rooms which is truly unique, and the hospitality of Phuc and her family. The pool is fantastic, there is a nice communal space for hanging out and Phuc is an incredible cook - some of the best meals I had after a month in Vietnam were here. Location is just far away enough from Old Town to be quiet and feel peaceful, but quick enough for a short scooter ride to the beach or town.

One of the beat hostel stay in Vietnam. The staff is friendly, the food is yummy, and the place is tidy and clean. Fairly priced, great location just in between the beach and town - with its free bicycle rental you don’t have to worry getting around in Hoi An. Some downside include poorly designed room, lack of lockers and keys. Only a concern for digital nomads with valuables on their travel.

Possibly our best hotel visit ever! The place is just gorgeous and filled with flowers everywhere. Our room had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private outdoor area for a price that’s not beatable. The breakfast was fantastic every morning and the staff and service were also great. The location is on a quiet strip along the water but yet walkable to anywhere. We felt so calm and comfortable through our whole visit! To anyone who reads this review, please book this hotel and you’ll forever be thankful! Thank you so much and especially to Lee! See you next time. /Filip and family

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet area on the riverfront (about a 20-minute walk to Old Town)! The staff is wonderful & very helpful and the breakfasts are amazing! The pool is clean and surrounded by so many lush, green plants creating a really peaceful environment. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms very clean & modern. Would absolutely recommend!!

A beautiful and peaceful hotel with lots of greenery around. We often stay here when visiting Hoi An. The rooms are large and spacious, some with a living room and bedroom or with two bedrooms. Each room has a bathtub and is always clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or special requests. Breakfast comes with a menu offering a variety of dishes, always fresh and tasty. The location is excellent, right by the river and not far from the Old Town, yet it’s always quiet and calm here, away from the crowds. We always feel at home here.

Possibly the best place to stay in Hoi An. A super relaxed oasis next to the river hosted by kind friendly people. We stayed for three weeks and this place became a home from home. After a morning in Hoi An or cycling in the river field we'd come back to relax by the lovely pool surrounded by flowers - it really is an orchid garden! We had Room 02 on the 1st floor overlooking the pool with a balcony. We had a bedroom and living room with doors to the balcony. Two shower/bathroom / toilets and a small kitchen area with a sink and kettle. Our bedroom had a big window facing towards the restaurant and the river so was very light and airy. Good curtains keep the light out at night. There are bikes freely available to borrow - the ride into town along the river is lovely and somewhat safer than braving the main road.

We had a wonderful stay. It’s a lovely place with a beautiful, peaceful garden in a quiet area near the lake, yet still very close to the old town and main attractions. Wonderful place to stay! We were a group of seven and had the best time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and all facilities worked perfectly. The free breakfast was amazing! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It made our stay so much better. It is about a 15 min walk to the old town, but there are free bicycles for guests which make it much easier to get to the centre. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The best place to stay when you’re in Hoi An!!! The staff and the owner are extremely friendly, so accommodating and always polite and respectful. They didn’t mind to keep the food I bought from outside and reheated it for me for my breakfast the next day. They’re super sweet! The room is clean and comfortable, bed was so cozy too. Bathroom is super clean, comfy, hot water is perfect, outdoor bathroom is also great. Everything is just awesome and this place made my stay in Hoi An super amazing!

I agree with everything others have written about Villa Orchid. This is truly a unique experience that pictures don’t do it justice. The rooms and the pool amid the orchids, banana trees, and jackfruit trees are peaceful, relaxing and refreshing. The view of the river from the top floor dining room is worth the price of admission. The food and the staff are exceptional. I was told that most of the staff had been working at the hotel for 10 years or more. They make you feel like you’ve come home, and that’s the best thing one can say about any hotel.

The hotel features an outdoor pool, a spa, a restaurant/bar, and various entertainment options for both children and adults. With over 500 hotel rooms and apartments, it provides ample space for families.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional service and attention to detail at this hotel. A huge shoutout to Dung Tran, the Assistant Director, and his amazing team for making our stay absolutely incredible. We were there to celebrate my mother's 71st birthday, and they truly went above and beyond to make the occasion special. They took care of everything—from personalized touches to ensuring we had a memorable celebration—and their kindness made all the difference. The food was absolutely amazing! Room service, the bar by the pool, and the really nice afternoon tea snacks were all highlights. The variety and quality were top-notch, and it was such a lovely touch to have those extra little indulgences. The pool area was pristine and perfect for relaxation, and the rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. We also loved having direct access to the private beach, where we could unwind in peace away from the crowds. The laundry service was top-notch, and the convenience of having everything handled so efficiently really helped make our trip stress-free. Overall, this hotel offers everything you could want—beautiful facilities, amazing service, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

We chose to travel to Hoi An to see the hotels in person before choosing where to stay. We were very early and booked the hotel as soon as we saw the beach and surrounding area, it is situated perfectly. We had an unfortunately longer wait time than expected to get a room so that spoiled the first morning. But on a positive note we spoke with the director of guest services, and he almost immediately sorted a new room for us. We are in and it is absolutely gorgeous I have given the room the full 5 stars, spotlessly clean, air conditioning is on when you walk in, nicely decorated and stunning view. The staff were polite and friendly and took our bags to the room so no complaints there. Happy to further improve the score over the next couple of days if the positivity continues. And will add photos later

Easy check in and nice, comfortable room. There’s lots of construction going on so our “garden view” room was not really a garden view. This did not bother us though as we did not come for the view from our room. The pool was very nice and big with accommodations for children. We were most impressed with the beach though which was very refreshing and beautiful with nice fine sand. Location is not too convenient as you need to take grab to walkable areas however grab solves this issue easily and the resort offers free shuttle to Old Town at certain times of the day. We had free breakfast buffet included in our stay. Breakfast was available for different cuisines but we found the Vietnamese options to be most delicious (no surprise there!). Overall, great stay!

Weird and not 5 star by anyone's measure. The complex is huge and appears to have been designed by a Soviet era committee. Immense spaces with ceilings three stories above you, huge corridors one night expect in a dictator's custom built palace. Ann indoor shopping mall with dozens of units, all unoccupied. Weird. Our ocean view room has an amazing view, of the apartment block (part of the hotel) immediately in front of it. Now, to be fair, bits of far away ocean were visible if you stand just so . . . The one restaurant really captures the feel of holiday camp canteen. It's enormous. The food is distinctly ordinary. Stale bread, cold beans, dry noodles, watered down cordials in place of actual fruit juice. It's bizarre. It is also the only restaurant in the hotel. Afternoon tea (which was complimentary) is worth experiencing just to see how unlike any other afternoon tea you've ever had it is. The place is clean, but not spotless. The staff are nice and a bit spaced out . . . The room is spacious and has a big wooden tub as a bath, but no taps to fill it, just the shower, and the plug can't be lowered or raised. Weird. The wardrobe is in the bathroom. So it the room safe. In the bathroom. Weird. The room has a very comfortable bed which is genuinely good news. It also has a chaise-longue which is rattan, which is a very slippy material, and upon which the cushion does indeed slip, very easily and quite enthusiastically, making it impossible to use as a chaise-longue unless you shove it, foot-end, up against a wall! Weird. The balcony is one long space shared by all the rooms on the floor, meaning there is no privacy and people can (and did) wander past your windows, so be aware of your are a modest type. Weird. Oh. It very close to the beach and it has one typical hotel swimming pool with one typical poolside bar. Completely not weird. All in all it's a strange place. Not unpleasant, but don't expect the kind of 5 star experience you may have come to expect in the rest of Asia, because it's more 'functional' than fantastical. Strange. PS Fair warning, we booked on Booking.com and paid for the "unlimited spa" which it turned out was not for unlimited spa, but was for a specific Korean-style sauna. No issue with the hotel on this, it was a booking.com issue.

This is located right on the beach. It has got private beach entrance. The rooms are super spacious and the property is very huge. The swimming pool is nice and there are lot of picturesque location. It has got amazing tennis and pickleball court. You can just stay and relax there . It has got bar near pool. It has mart inside the hotel. You can also got you booze and chill in the night in the shack and enjoy the waves. They upgraded our room for free and the service provided by hotel is luxurious especially Ms Tram, Thanh and chao were very helpful.

We had a great long stay at The Pearl over summer 2025. The staff were all very responsive and professional. Many of them spoke some English. We were always greeted with a smile. The breakfast was great, they really looked after us as vegetarians. Cleaning lady at the breakfast area, Hoi was so sweet and supervisor Thu was great. Our son enjoyed the kids club. Diem, the staff member working there was very caring, personable and engaging. Dung from front desk was very professional and helpful all around. All of the staff from security guards to cleaning crew made our stay memorable. Being there longer term we noticed the resort fills up and get very busy during weekends and summer holidays however there were also times outside of those busy times that it felt quite peaceful.

Family Trip Made Memorable at Hoi An Central Boutique Hotel We stayed at Hoi An Central Boutique Hotel & Spa for our family vacation, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and excellent service. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the ancient town, so it was super convenient to explore Hoi An on foot, even with kids. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, which is important when traveling as a family. The beds were cozy, the bathroom was clean and modern, and there was more than enough space for all of us to relax. But what really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality. Everyone was so kind and attentive, always ready to help. A special shoutout to Will, the General Manager, who was absolutely amazing. Rose was also incredible too! She gave recommendations for tailors and restaurants, and did so in a way that never felt pushy, just genuinely helpful. Both Annie and Rose made our stay feel personal. Highly recommend staying here! The service and location a could not be faulted! 💙💙

We had an amazing three-night stay here. Unfortunately, I had a minor accident and fell, but the hotel staff were incredibly caring and supportive. A special thanks to Kim, who personally took me to the pharmacy, helped arrange my medication, and made sure everything was properly handled. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel itself is wonderfully relaxing — perfect after a long journey — and the location is excellent, with easy access to central Hoi An. As a family of four, we organized all our tours independently, but Kim and her team were more than happy to assist with transportation arrangements when needed. Truly a 5/5 experience — absolutely amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hoi An Ancient House Resort, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The rooms are clean and spacious, and we didn’t hear a peep at night (I’m a light sleeper and sometimes struggle to sleep in hotels). The staff were so welcoming and helpful and really made our stay. The breakfast buffet was filled with fresh and tasty dishes which left us full every morning. What makes the resort even more special is the heritage listed ancient house that is on the property. Hotel guests can tour the 400 year old house on request, and also see how the rice paper and noodles are still commercially made on-site. It was a truly memorable experience. The resort is close enough to the old town, with a free shuttle provided (the shuttle will also take you to An Bang beach). However we also found that the resort was in a much more chill part of town, with all of the amenities on your doorstep you might need (cafes, restaurants, tailors, mini marts etc), without the bustle and crowds of the old town- truly the best of both worlds. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for your stay

We absolutely loved our time at Ancient House Resort & Spa. The staff were so kind and helpful, always making us feel welcome and cared for. The included breakfast was delicious! With the freshest and tastiest fruit! Especially the passion fruits 🤤 Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The resort itself has fantastic amenities including a lovely pool, relaxing spa, and a well-equipped gym. One of the highlights was visiting the on-site rice paper and noodle-making factory, where the same family has been crafting noodles for generations. It was such a special and authentic experience being able to take a look inside. The location is great too! A little bit out of the hustle and bustle of the main streets, which makes it peaceful and relaxing, yet still very convenient. There are so many great restaurants, cafes, and sights nearby, and the hotel also offers a free daily shuttle to both the main strip and the beach, which made getting around super easy. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hoi An. It's a beautiful blend of comfort, culture, and genuine hospitality!

My friend and I stayed here during our visit to Hoi An. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. The breakfast spread was impressive, with plenty of decadent vietnamese food to choose from. Many tour packages are readily available at the reception, which made it easy for us to plan our days on the go. To top it all off, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and kind. They made sure to surprise me with a cake on my birthday which is easily one of my core memories from the trip. Would highly recommend choosing this resort if you're looking for a hassle free, memorable experience :)

Found our little piece of calm just a stone’s throw away from the magical lanes of Hoi An Ancient Town. The location couldn’t be more perfect — close enough to walk to all the charm, yet quiet enough to wake up to birds and not bikes. 🏡 Our room was wide, airy, and beautifully done — the kind of place you actually want to spend time in. Loved the bathroom setup — elegant and relaxing! 💫 The breakfast spread deserves a shoutout — from fresh tropical fruits to hot local dishes, everything felt carefully thought out. 🍜☕ But what really makes this place special is the people — a team so warm and well-trained that every interaction feels effortless. Big smiles, genuine care, and a touch of Vietnamese hospitality that stays with you. 💛 If you’re coming to Hoi An and looking for comfort with soul, Ancient House Resort is the one. 🌸

The hotel is full of character, with a beautifully landscaped garden and a lovely swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and feature a nice bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower. The breakfast buffet is very extensive. It's also convenient that you can borrow bicycles, making it easy to ride into the old town, to the rice fields, or to the beach. A big compliment to the staff—they are welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Especially Minh.

Kiman Hotel in Hoi An offers modest accommodations with a restaurant, poolside bar, and spa services including beauty therapy and body treatments. The 3-star hotel is conveniently situated between the old town and the beach, just 1.2 km from the Japanese Covered Bridge. While some find the rooms a bit dated, they are considered acceptable. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist with various needs.
Highly underrated hotel. It should be a solid 4 star. Outstanding service by all the crewtogether. (everyone!). The breakfast was wonderful and delicious, better than most hotels I've been to. It's clean throughout, and lots of restaurants and mini marts near. Free bike usage, safe box in each room, reasonable money exchange and tour ticket service available as well. The front desk ladies (My) were very attentive and helpful in making all kinds of recommendations. This hotel has a few marks and scratches in the walls, but the wooden architecture and design has a lot of character and culture. It's quiet and somewhat peaceful. The only con is the pool area which allows smoking. This is a public area people passes by, and it should be a non-smoking area. Besides that, we love this hotel and will definitely come back again.

This is a gem of a hotel- excellent value for money. Conveniently located half way between the Old Town & An Bang Beach allows easy access to either by cycling or the new electronic shuttle buses which are only 50,000VND (AUD$3). The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is excellent with good options for both continental & Asian breakfast. The pool area is lovely & kept clean. The staff are so friendly and attentive, great laundry service - clothes came back smelling amazing. I can’t fault this hotel in any way - for any negative reviews on here - remember it’s not a 5 star hotel and you are not paying 5 star prices so you can’t review it against 5 star criteria. For AUD$60 per night, it’s the best value and would be classed as a 4 star hotel in Aus. My 2nd time staying here and I would choose this hotel over and over a large 5 star hotel which are always on the outskirts of town and away from all the local vibe.

The town itself is steeped in history and cultural diversity, reflecting its past as a historic port connecting with the Indonesian spice trade. Guests can easily explore nearby attractions such as the Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An Handicraft Workshop.
I had such a relaxing stay at Aurora Hoi An. The hotel is quite and surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to unwind. One of my favourite things was the free bicycle. I loved riding through the quite village roads and wide green rice fields. It was such a peaceful and beautiful experience. A 10/10 stay! The staff went above and beyond — showing genuine kindness when my friend injured her ankle, bringing ice straight to our door and offering help without hesitation. Room service was excellent, with delicious options from the Dirty Lips Café downstairs, which also doubles as a great co-working space. The pool was spotless, the rooms spacious, and the beds incredibly comfortable with luxury pillows and bedding. For the price, this hotel is unbeatable — in London, you’d easily pay £250 a night for this level of quality and service. If you’re looking for a break from the usual backpacking life, Aurora is the perfect spot — peaceful, comfortable, and just a stone’s throw from Mad Monkey if you’re after a bit of evening liveliness. Special thanks to the hotel manager, Vin — truly appreciate you!

The hotel and services all look nice from a distance, but close up, there are a lot of things that could be improved on. Firstly, we were part of a group and were all checked in at the same time. We were the only guests on the highest floor, yet no staff helped us carry our bags up. When we made it up, we had issues with the lock at the entrance because it works with a key and a weird handle you need to hold either up or down while turning. We couldn't figure it out and called maintenance. We had to call back again after 15 minutes because no one showed up. Eventually a guy came by and looked at us like we were idiots who couldn't work the door out. Not two minutes later and he had locked himself in our room because the latch wouldn't release anymore. After a lot of fidgeting, it came unlocked again and we managed to operate it mostly decently. The room itself was very spacious and modern. Sadly, the attention to detail was not there. The curtains contained a disgusting amount of dust that forced me to take zyrtec during my entire stay. There were chips all over the room on wood and tiles. The bathroom smelled incredibly moldy, and it's easy to see why. There were big gaps everywhere in the shower and bath tiles that could easily trap moisture. Also, multiple outlets were hanging crooked or loose (or both). And strangely enough, there were breakers all over the room (in case the power gets overloaded I guess?). Weirdly, there's a small window in the bathroom that doesn't have a curtain or even frosted glass, so people in the opposite building can definitely see you because I could see them... The breakfast buffet was nice enough with some hot and cold options, an egg station and plenty of fruit. The room itself is too empty though and sound bounces around, so it feels like a school cafeteria when it's packed with groups. The hotel is located quite a bit away from the old town area but it's easy to rent a bike and drive around or ask the front desk to call you a taxi. The rice paddies are right behind the hotel and visible from some balconies, which was gorgeous.

Despite the unreasonable service we encounted, this hotel is valuable to stay. We stay for 1 night and there are 2 staff using room key card to go inside our room without notice to us. We do not know why they need to go into our room when we are staying in (the staff are not holding any replenishment for room stuff). Also we just stat for 1 night so I do not think they need to come in for any replenishment. I have reminded the receptionist to tell their staff not to come to our room again when the 1st staff open our room door. And the 2nd staff still come again to us at next day morning.

The highlight of our stay in Aurora, was Hoa, the concierge grandpa (not sure if I got his name correctly). He’s the sweetest and kindest man I’ve ever met in Vietnam, and that’s saying something because we’ve been to Ho Chi and Da Nang before going to Hoi An. Thank you so much for your kindness, Hoa. I will never forget you giving me a pack of cigarette for free when I only asked you where I can buy from. 😂 We’ll miss you so much. Have the best life my friend. See you around!

The room was good but the staff was not helpful at all… We booked our bus from hotel to hanoi for 5PM and after taking money they dropped us to an unknown location infront of travel agency where they promised us the bus will come in half an hour… But after every half an hour they were delaying the time and than at 8 PM they dropped us to another bus station and asked us to wait there… The hospital staff was not answering anything… Very terrible experience in the room lock also… They gave us room and the card was not working, initially they opened it with other card but when we came back from market it doesnt worked… We complained but the staff was also not helpful much and we were sitting outside the room for 20 minutes… Not recommended at all…

The room was great! The hotel is located in an easy to locate location with a nice restaurant and nail place next door. They offer bicycle rental which made it easy to explore. The staff was extremely helpful. The only downside was the rooster that kept my family and I up ALL night.

Situated close to Hoi An Old Town and the Japanese bridge, this hotel provides easy access to popular attractions. Guests can enjoy a quiet stay with clean and comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and excellent service.
Beautiful small boutique hotel in the beginning of Old Town of Hoi A right on the river. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and other activities. Nice terrace that you can use for breakfast or work in early morning before it gets hot or you can enjoy swimming pool to cool down during the day. Management is great and very accommodating. I definitely will come back again to stay in this charming hotel

Enjoyed my 5-day stay here location is very convenient and easy walk to old town and many local restaurants. The staff is super friendly and they were very attentive! Breakfast was a nice bonus every morning, I really enjoyed the daily Pho and the variety of Bahn Cuon every morning.

We had a magnificent stay at one of the most welcoming hotels where guests can feel comfortable, happy, and treated like a friend in a professional manner. The breakfast was a delight, offering delicious food served by a very attentive team. They anticipated our needs, even without us having to ask. The team was taking our baby to play with it and to let us have breakfast peacefully. The hotel rooms were cozy, looking at a magical view directly at the river and the night market, and equipped with satisfying equipment, featuring renovated furniture in excellent condition and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Overall, our experience was truly magnificent. Looking forward to our next stay at River Suites Hotel"

Very close to the action with nice views from the balcony, but quiet at the same time. Don't expect a large pool, but it does provide a refreshing dip
Tony H — Google review
This property like many properties around VN we've stay at had mold. I believe this is due to the lack of air circulation and the high humidity. The hotel looked clean from the front lobby but we were moved around to 3 different rooms and all 3 rooms had mold. If you can imgine the musty wet wood smell that's what the rooms smelled like. One of the room we booked didn’t have a working AC unit but the staff were nice and quickly moved us. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their pool had algea and mold along the pool edge so the kids didn’t want to use it. The staff claim the hotel uses natural cinnamon essential oil that may be mistaken as a "musty smell" but we all know what causes a musty smell. Overall I do not recommend this hotel especially if you have kids.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Hoi An. Every single member of staff made our stay incredible from check in, where we were given a map of the city and shown where to go and what to watch out for, through to the breakfast and restaurant staff providing attentive and professional service. The location is brilliant for exploring the old town. The rooms are clean and well kept with good showers and comfortable beds. They are not large rooms by any means but more than adequate. My partner and I felt very welcome in this hotel and can honestly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm and service driven stay in Hoi An. We will definitely stay here again if our path leads us back to Hoi An. Once again, thank you Hue and all the hotel staff for giving us a wonderful experience

Great location and wonderful staff. Breakfast not great and room very small. Fantastic night market outside for food and close to everything walking distance. Pool very small and only accommodates 3 people on sun beds, plus it’s more or less in the lobby, but we were lucky to claim the beds for a day!

Tropical Beach Resort Hoi An is a top-quality beach resort just a 35-minute drive from Da Nang International Airport. The international-standard rooms are luxurious and well-equipped, with additional beauty and wellness services available. While the rooms may have an older style, the friendly staff, relaxing pool, and beachfront area make for a delightful stay. Located near Cua Dai Beach Spa in Cam An district, this resort offers various amenities such as a tennis court, sauna, and Jacuzzi.
Booked this hotel for 5 nights as a chill-out break on our 18 day Asia adventure. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. We upgraded to have a sea view, and it's fabulous. The staff here are all very friendly, and we've been given some extras, including free treatment at the spa. Highly recommended.

Staff nice and breakfast spread has a good variety. Good pool area, but over all the rooms are run down with rough finishes, gaps in windows, peeling paint etc. A nice overhaul would make it a great place. Still comfortable and good for value, but I had expected nicer from photos.

I just enjoyed 11 nights at this resort. Whilst it is not a 5 star resort, I had a 5 star stay here. The resort is an older resort but it is very clear that the staff are wanting to ensure you enjoy your time there. The rooms are older but clean and airconditioned, the beds and bed linen are excellent, very comfortable. The location is excellent, right on a beautiful clean beach , the hotel swimming pool also right near the beach and very clean. Would be very happy to return.

A great resort. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas and was very spacious. The staff are incredibly helpful, but English is a little limited for some of them. The pools are fantastic, and beach is clean. There aren't any water activities, and you'll need to walk a few kms down the beach to find jetskis etc. Also on weekends they have karaoke functions which are incredibly noisy. Restaurants are good with both Vietnamese and Western food options. Location is okay - about 3km from city, or a 100k dong taxi ride. Overall a great resort.

The room was big and the staff were friendly. Swimming pool was also good to rest. I asked one of the staff whether it is possible to check out at 1pm with extra charge(check-out time is 12pm), she allowed us to stay at the room until 1pm with no charge. Thanks for that staff! Also, i had no problems talking with recepionists in English.

This is a fabulous beach side hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable . Pools are excellent and so too is the beach bar and small restaurant. Prices are about 25% more expensive than the local bars but remember everything is still cheap. Great place to jump waves ! Old town is a lovely 45 minute walk through rice fields or a 20 min bike ride or the resort offers a free shuttle 4 times a day

A three star hotel claiming to be four star. The hotel is old and worn, and probably used to be a four star hotel twenty years ago. The staff in the reception speaks decent English, but the life guards and pool bar staff speak terrible English. One of the life guards was kind of weird and a little bit of a pain in the ass, asking to do all kinds of tours and was just generally annoying. Our last day there when I emitted our safe, the sade fell out from the closet and hit my leg and almost fractured my foot. I told this to the reception and asked for a discount on our pool bar tab. The receptionist asked the manager, the manager laughed and said no. They did apologize, and said it would never happen again. But when I said that the safe was supposed to be mounted with screws in the wall, they said it's not necessary cause no one can get into my room. Why have a safe at all then? Bathroom was very worn and kind of filthy, not the best cleaning. We had a good time in Hoi An, but if we come back we will not stay at this hotel. We paid 14 million dong (700 usd) for eight nights, and for that price you can get a much better hotel in Vietnam.

Long Life Riverside Hotel in Hoi An is a laid-back 3-star hotel with a peaceful riverside setting in the An Hoi peninsula. It offers simple rooms with modern furnishings, a restaurant, and a pool with river views. The hotel provides quick access to attractions like the Sa Huynh Culture Museum and is conveniently located near the Old Town and Night Market. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, free breakfast, and pet-friendly policy.
The location of the hotel is superb and all the attractions are within walking distance. The boutique hotel based its design on heritage houses. It's very charming and they serve a good spread for their daily breakfasts. Highly recommended for people who love to explore on foot. Everything is just so close by!

My partner and I have been to this hotel three times in the past 2 years. Every single time it does not disappoint. Large rooms, cold air conditioning, and very friendly service. The location is great, right along the riverside and a 100 meter walk to the night market. This time we took my mum here for her birthday and this lovely hotel provided my mum with flowers! Great service and would definitely be coming back here again.

Very good stay overall! The room was big, although some areas could have been a bit cleaner. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, and while the pool was a bit small, it was still enjoyable. Overall, a very good experience! 👍

We stayed here for one night in August and booked 4 rooms for our party of 13. We had a great stay and were extremely happy with our rooms, thus the 5 star rating. That said, understand that the hotel itself is not a 5-star establishment. The hotel is extremely well located (a few minutes by foot to the night market and very close to the bridge to the old town), it was perfect for what we wanted. The hotel and rooms are a beautiful mix of charm and modern amenities. The rooms felt like they were authentic to Hoi An's history, with beautiful, old, dark wood and heavy, detailed door handles. The rooms are not pristine (in terms of craftmanship), but they are very clean, comfortable, and offer the creaturely comforts of hot water, modern facilities, good A/C, space, and comfortable bedding. The sitting room furniture is not quite as comfortable though. The service was impeccable, warm, and helpful. Breakfast was really good and offered a bountiful, tasty spread of Vietnamese and international cuisine. The welcome drink was delicious and appreciated by all (it was hot when we visited!). The hotel was also very helpful in terms of helping with transportation. My husband and kids also really enjoyed cooling off in the courtyard pool. Overall, though the hotel is a bit pricier than other options, we felt it was worth it for the comfort, charm, and location. Thank you for a great stay, we look forward to returning in the future and for a longer stay!!

The location is perfect!!! On the island of An Hoi, directly opposite from the Old Town, you walk out the front door and your amongst the life and energy that permeates Hoi An. You're surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes, and even a couple of night clubs. Plus, you can get your laundry done next door, an ATM around 50 metres away, and several convenience stores within a minute's walk. If you don't feel like walking, you can borrow one of the free pushbikes: they're not fancy, but they do the job, plus it kinda adds to the magic of Hoi An. The hotel itself feels quirky, but in the best ways. The Front Desk Manager, Minh, is incredibly helpful, as are the staff around the hotel. The room was clean and serviced daily. The shower was awesome, with a great supply of hot water. The pool is located in the middle of the hotel, so it doesn't get a lot of direct sun, but that's not terrible considering the weather. My only gripe was both not so good and great: the pool bar no longer operates, meaning I couldn't get drinks at the bar, UNLESS I brought my own to the poolside..... that's a win when you drink spirits in particular :). The breakfast buffet was both tasty and plentiful, so worth the little extra. Word from the wise, if you don't like noise, source a room in the middle of the hotel, as the back is on a laneway that gets a bit of noise (and a school that starts around 645 (personally, I didn't mind too much being woken up by drums and singing), and the front gets pretty noisy from the night clubs. All in all, we LOVED this place, and we'll be going back mid 2026 to enjoy the hotel and Hoi An some more.

My family stayed at Long Life Riverside Hotel in Hoi An for three nights. The hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the Ancient Town, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, the breakfast menu was exactly the same for all three days, and worse still, when we woke up early, we saw that the hotel ordered breakfast dishes from local street food vendors rather than preparing them in-house. Because these street foods came from outside sources, food hygiene and safety were not guaranteed, and unfortunately, all of us experienced stomach pain after eating breakfast during our stay. The staff member in charge of breakfast service on Friday, October 3, and Sunday, October 5, 2025, had an extremely poor and rude attitude (the same male staff member as attached photo). I believe that having employees with such behavior makes guests feel uncomfortable and will discourage them from ever returning. The hotel will end up damaging its own business if it continues to train and retain staff like this. I hope the hotel will take this feedback seriously and replace such employees to provide better service to tourists in the future.

The service is good, especially the front manager Mr Meng. As our reserved family suite was under renovation, they gave us a family room and twin room without extra charge. When we needed help, the response was prompt. A good spread for breakfast too. The room is spacious and deco is good. The only flaw is some switches were not working and confusing. We have a big bathtub! Location is a plus with many food and night market next to us, and ATM to withdraw money.

The Golden River Hotel Hoi An is a well-known hotel in the city and situated in the heart of Hoi An. The hotel offers its guests an excellent range of services, including accommodation, dining and entertainment options. It is also centrally located, making it an ideal choice for those who want to explore all that Hoi An has to offer.
I recently stayed at Hoi An Golden River Hotel, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms were a bit old in terms of decor and furniture, but they were clean, spacious, and comfortable, so we didn’t really mind. Everything was in good working condition, and the stay was quite cozy. One of the biggest highlights was the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. She went out of her way to assist us with everything we needed from directions to local recommendations and we truly appreciated her support throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a few steps away from the boating lake and the heart of Hoi An’s Old Town. It was perfect for evening walks, sightseeing, and easy access to restaurants and shops. As vegetarians, we did find that the breakfast buffet had limited veg options, but to our surprise, the staff happily prepared a separate vegetarian breakfast for us upon request. It was fresh, tasty, and served with a warm smile. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out. Another plus point was the nominal pricing. Given the location and quality of service, the hotel offers great value for money. All in all, while the rooms could use a bit of updating, the excellent service, prime location, and thoughtful staff made our stay a very enjoyable one. I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Hoi An.
Shrey G — Google review
The staff are incredibly friendly, especially Ten one of the receptionists. We arrived quite early and were able to leave our bags, she offered suggestions for where the best restaurants so we could get a bite to eat while we waiting for our room to be ready along with other tips/suggestions. The location is great, you’re right near the markets and nightlife (keep in mind it is quite loud at night with the music but this didn’t bother us much). The breakfast was a bit average, rooms are okay considering the price for where you’re situated but the sewage smell from the bathroom was the real downfall. It has a louvre door so you can’t shut it out from the main room and we had to open the windows constantly to try and get rid of the smell, sometimes successful, sometimes not. It was quite unpleasant at times. We were able to leave our bags once checked out as we weren’t leaving until the afternoon which was also very handy.

Amazing place to spending your time in Hoi An!!! I booked the hotel because I don’t want to walk too much after a bike accident just few days before and I would say I’m not regret it at all. Hien & Duong were really helpful with my condition and check on me everyday during my stay. The foods at the hotel were surprisingly good because they have their own restaurant, highly recommend the Dim-sums.

Loved it 😍 loved it 😍 ok so this is our 15th stop on our journey round veitnam and Cambodia 🇰🇭 😀 and I would definitely say one of the best hotels 🏨 yet ! Lovely helpful staff 👏 at the front desk that helped us park our car in front of the hotel, then then have an amazing in door pool that you can use on a hot 🔥 🥵 day , and been in veitnam it's always hot ! We had a great first-floor balcony that was directly on to the street front ! It's super clean and tidy , we are literally 1 minute from the river and all the action that hoi an has to offer ! So happy 😊 we booked the golden river hotel as it's gets my 5 star treatment 😁 , quick update, we like the hotel 🏨 that much we changed our plans and stayed another night 🌙.

This wasn’t our first choice, we had booked elsewhere but we’re told they weren’t serving breakfast anymore. So we booked Golden river thru Air BnB. Location on maps is not correct so found it tricky to find, even the Grab riders couldn’t find it. It has an indoor pool, but it’s usually fill of kids. Cons on this property, very noisy inside & out. Kids screaming I. The hallway & running up & down the stairs late at night. Rooms are basic, missing a side table, no safe, fridge didn’t work, TV wasn’t connected & no remote, just bath towels no hand towels or face cloths. Pros - location, aircon. Do try Melodys restaurant across the lane, great selection of food.

Sunshine Hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, spacious, and surprisingly come with a balcony—quite rare for a three-star hotel. The toilets are hygienic and odor-free, and overall cleanliness is well-maintained throughout the property. The hotel also features a shared pool that is clean and inviting. A bonus point is the availability of bicycles, which is great for exploring Hoi An (though I’m not entirely sure if they are free). They also provide transportation services at reasonable rates—just let them know your destination and they’ll quote accordingly.

Its prime location just a short stroll from the town center makes it an ideal base for exploring the area.
I stayed at cheerfull hoi an hostel for one week and it has been one of my favorite hostels I have ever stayed in. Hien is an amazing host and the best hostel mom ever! she gave me great recommendations for activities, restaurants, tailors, and she took us on a local food tour that was amazing! Hien took such good care of me while i was here, not only did she have great recommendations but many activities she actually booked for us, and she made sure we got the best price on things. The free breakfast was the best hostel breakfast i have ever had, and always included fresh fruit. The hostel is located in a peaceful area of hoi an with great local restaurants close by and an easy 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride from the main shopping streets. It was slow in Hoi An because of the rain and there weren’t many people at the hostel but the people who were here were all so friendly and generally just great vibes! Its definitely not a party hostel but it was super easy to join in a bar crawl at another hostel if you want to have a few nights out but still have somewhere peaceful to return to. The hostel is also very clean and comfortable, and the laundry service was great! If you want the authentic experience of Hoi An, you could not stay anywhere better than cheerful hostel, it is truly a gem!

Cheerful Hostel was without a doubt one of our best stays in Vietnam, our host Hien was absolutely adorable, she made us feel at home, gave us plenty of recommendations, answered our questions about Hoi An and anything we had in mind. She noticed that I was sick and took care of me with some of her medicine, I felt safe, calm and happy there. The included breakfast was also a great start to our days :)

The best hostel I have ever stayed at! I loved it here and extended our stay twice. Hien is the nicest host and takes such good care of you. She has great recommendations and even made us lunch for flight when we left. She is basically my Vietnamese Mum 🇻🇳❤️
Daniel H — Google review
I’ve never felt so taken care of in a hostel, as many others have said Hien makes you feel at home and part of the family! Anything and everything you need Hien will be able to sort and make recommendations, she will become your Vietnamese mum for your stay and take the best care of you. Family breakfast and a leaving banh mi was a sweet addition. The hostel was quiet but Hien made sure to get everyone together and socialising. Just a note that the dorm room didn’t have curtains which is the only critique I have!

Hien was the best, she recommended a lot for us and planned our stay in Hoi An. The food tour was a real highlight, and she even got dessert for everyone. She was always there for every question! Our room was also better than anything I could have expected :) very very big and super clean! If I come back to Hoi An I would stay in cheerful again and I can just recommend the hostel for everyone!

If you're in Hoi An, I can highly recommend this hostel! It doesn't feel like a hostel — it feels like coming home. The owner is a wonderful person who truly cares about her guests like they're family. She's always happy to help with anything, and she gives the best local tips — from things to do or where to find fair prices. The hostel is clean, the breakfast is amazing, and they have bicycles you can use. It's only about 15 minutes to the Old Town or the beach by bike. I had a great time here and would definitely come back
Jessica R — Google review
We haven't even left the hostel and I will have to leave a 5-star rating. I would give more if I could! The owner of the hostel is so super sweet, she really cares about her Guests and goes besonders everything to make everyone's stay as comfi as possible. She has local recommendations for everything, complimentary bycicles. She even took us on a small food tour. The rooms are really big and clean. And the included breakfast (prepared by the owner) is also really good.

Believe it or not, our best coffee in Hoi An was the hotel breakfast and we tried many from different shops. Our stay was fantastic, the pool was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the recommendation they give us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vinci Villa in Hoi An, the location was absolutely perfect. The rooms were clean and the pool was a fantastic touch. The staff, especially Vinh, were super helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed taking the bikes out and visiting all the places Vinh kindly recommended. Our stay at Vinci Villa was our favourite part of our Vietnam trip.

We were booked in for 3 nights at Vinci Villa, but cancelled our night in Da Nang to stay a 4th night. The villa rooms are exceptionally clean, beds are comfy, bath is beautiful. Vincent is meticulous in ensuring his guests are happy, and well catered for. He is full of local knowledge which was a great help. He also organised private transfers for us at short notice. We enjoyed borrowing the bikes and riding out to An Bang beach for a few hours. The hospitality at this little family run Villa is superb, thank you Team Vinci ❤️😊

The villa offers private parking and is conveniently located within a 5-minute drive to Hoi An Ancient Town. While it may be slightly removed from the center, this location provides a peaceful atmosphere at night. Guests can rely on Grab or rent bikes from the hotel for transportation. The rooms are comfortable with pleasant views of the garden and swimming pool.
Room was really nice and clean. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I forgot something in the room and the staff send it to my Next hotel via the post. Also swimming pool and location are really nice. I also would recommend to rent a bicycle to go to hoi an center. Its a nice and short ride.

"Amazing hotel in Hoi An" I had an unforgettable experience at the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and tastefully designed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool area and surrounding scenery, the breathtaking view of the rice fields and the seaside create a relaxing feeling. There is no food but you can order from outside. If you are looking for a luxurious and peaceful family environment in Hoi An, this is the ideal choice! Keep in mind that it is a bit far from the center. Come by motorbike or car.

They have a coffee shop nearby if you’re looking for a drinks as the hotel won’t provide coffee. Overall, I highly recommend this location, you should not be disappointed by the staff. They are doing a very good job.! yeah

The hotel is a little out of the centre so need to rely on Grab or hire a bike from the hotel - however, this does make it very quiet at night. The rooms were nice and the beds super comfortable. The two ladies on reception Phuong and Hoa are exceptional, very kind and attentive and will help you with anything you need. For the price this was a brilliant place to stay.

Rooms are average in size and cleanliness. It is a bit further from Hoi An (roughly 4km). It is in a quiet location. AC is not great but the room was equipped with a stand fan. Be wary that the sliding doors cannot be locked. We brought our valuables with us at all times. A lot of things could be improved but it will make a good budget accommodation.

Red House Homestay in Vietnam offers spacious, well-stocked, and clean rooms with a personal touch. The welcoming family provides a serene environment with lush gardens filled with fruit trees and flowers. Guests can enjoy the company of affectionate pets and complimentary bicycles to explore the area. The accommodating hosts also offer recommendations for local dining, tailoring, and sightseeing, making visitors feel at home during their stay.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Red House Homestay has been our long-term home while in Hoi An, and we absolutely love it! The family that runs it are all incredibly kind and will help with anything you need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location is perfect—close enough to downtown for easy access but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. The rooms are spacious with a great-sized balcony, and long-term stays include cleaning once or twice a week, leaving the room smelling amazing with fresh sheets/towels, plus laundry service if needed. It’s also super pet-friendly, with a dedicated outdoor space for dogs to potty just outside of the property, which has been a huge plus for us and our doggies. The big pool is beautiful, especially when it lights up at night. They even help arrange motorbike rentals that get delivered right to the front, and there’s parking if you have your own. The homestay also has a cozy café in front with great coffee, drinks & food at affordable prices. Plus, there are multiple vegan restaurants, a market, and stores within walking distance. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay—highly recommend for everyone especially if traveling with pets!

Wonderful Homestay in Hoi An. The location is a few minutes bike away from the old town centre of Hoi An, and it’s a idillic spot with a nice swimming pool and green outdoor space. The family that run this Homestay are so helpful and go above and beyond for everyone. They also have a lovely coffee shop attached to the Homestay and have free bicycles for guests to use. The dorm I stayed in was really comfortable and spacious, with a fan and AC. The bathroom is clean and I met some really nice people staying here. They had some nice looking private rooms too. The breakfast is excellent value and delicious (I had the banana chocolate pancakes). I’d recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Hoi An.

I had an amazing stay at Red House Homestay. The rooms are clean and well presented, the price is affordable, the service is immaculate, the staff make you feel very welcome and well looked after! They also offer a range of extra services such as laundry, free bicycle rental, motorbike rental etc. On my first day Thao sat me down and showed me a map of all the recommended things to do and places to see, and told me that certain businesses offer discount when your staying with red house such as the tailor and cooking class. The same evening uncle Hùng invited me to eat and drink with his family free of charge. I highly recommend staying here, and will definitely be doing so again myself! Thank you Red House for making my stay in Hoi An so good!

This was BY FAR the best hotel I've ever stayed at! Nowhere in any other hotel in the world have we gotten such great service. We were with a group of 6. The rooms where clean, fresh towels were provided for swimming and showering. The location is also great because it is close to a local food market and some very good restaurants and food stalls. Free bikes are provided so you can easily go to the Old Town. The service however is wat stood out the most, upon arriving we got free orange juice and ice tea. The host happily explained us what we could do during our stay and helped plan some activities, even when during our stay we had requests to change some bookings or had to ask for additional info via WhatsApp she intstantly accomodated! She also has a little café with the absolute best brownies we've ever tried. The breakfast is also the best we've had during our entire stay in Vietnam. Free drinking water is provided as well. I don't want to spoil everything right now but when you come (and you should!) you will experience this great service yourself. When I come back to Vietnam I will definitely visit here again.

Really lovely place! The owner is so nice and the hotel has a family vibe. Breakfast included was a nice touch and free bikes! I had a wonderful stay at Haemer. I slept in the dorms, which was perfect for me. The beds are comfortable, capsule-like but big enough. The location is great too, close to the beach and the rice paddies, you can ride the bike they offer for free at the reception. I spent almost two weeks here, felt very well taken care of. Minh and his family are super friendly and open to helping with anything you need.

It's such a nice hotel. Great rooms. Really friendly owner & staff. Great breakfast. They make it all easy. If like me to wanted to be out of busy Hoy An, it's halfway to the beach. Great homestay, situated in the quiet and beautiful vegetable village just outside of the city centre. The hosts Moon and Tri go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special! My room was clean and cosy with a nice hot shower. The breakfasts were excellent as well, I had the Pho and the Banana Pancakes, both delicious. Don't hesitate to book this place for your stay in Hoi An! Thank you again Moon River Homestay ✨

Ngl it's a bit kampung (which is nobody's fault but my own because I am unfortunately not made for the kampung, and I had to find out the hard way) so I was very, very overwhelmed on the first day. My husband was okay. The owner Tri helped us rent a motorcycle, chased an insect out of our room (again, nobody's fault, you do expect insects at places like these), did the laundry, cooked breakfast and we're super thankful for the hospitality. The view is also amazing so make sure you spend time checking out the river and just... spacing out and watching the sampans pass by. For breakfast I recommend the pho and scrambled egg + bread option!

What a lovely family home to stay at! The couple who run the place are super friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to help and make your stay more comfortable. The breakfast was homemade and tasty and you had several choices to choose from. The place was very peaceful and great swimming pool to cool down during the hot part of the day. The vegetable village is just a few hundred metres away and they offer in site cooking courses. There are free bicycles to use as well as scooters to hire. They are happy to help with taxis and transfers too. The rooms were clean and spacious with AC. What would you expect for this kind of places. Highly recommended for experiencing the local culture.

You will not meet kinder hosts anywhere else in this world. I had medical problems whilst I was staying there and they looked after me so well. Breakfasts were delicious and fresh. My favorites the coffee, fresh passion fruit juice and the noodles with meat and fresh herbs and greens, the banh mi is a banger also. They have a cooking school attached- unfortunately I was too unwell to enjoy that- but I will definitely do it next time I’m there. The room has everything you need, nice lighting. , a comfortable bed, a fan and air conditioning and en suite It’s a very relaxing environment in nature- the hosts are there for any questions you have 24/7 I feel blessed to have met them It’s an easy 10 minute grab to the city- it’s quicker by bike as the lanes are narrow Thank you for a welcoming stay- see you next time in better health- say hello to Avocado for me 🥑 🐶

I loved my stay here. The couple running this homestay is incredibly caring and so friendly. I was able to use their bicycle to cycle around the village where vegetables grow without pesticides! They serve breakfast which is tasty, you can pick what you want. It is only a few minutes to the beach by bicycle, via cycle lane. The communication is very easy, they speak great English and always ready to help. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. This place is easy reachable by public transport and transfers. Definitely recommend staying if you want to experience beautiful village life (but close to main attractions) with greenery around.

Place is away from the noise of town. Very quiet and close to the river. If you love nature it’s a great place. The internet was excellent. The mango and banana pancakes were really good. We spend a total of 6 nights at the homestay. The owners were lovely people and made us feel at home instantly. Communication with both was very easy and they responded fast when something was asked. The bikes provided was perfect since it's conveniently located between the beach (5 minute bike ride) and the city (15 minute ride). The area is very quiet and perfect to relax in. On hot days the pool was a nice place to cool down. The room was great with good AC and a nice comfortable bed. When visiting Hoi An this would be my recommendation.

The villa's proximity to Hoi An Old Town makes it convenient for exploring, while its tranquil setting provides a relaxing retreat. Fig Tree felt like home! We were incredibly sad to leave. The pool is beautiful and the rooms were absolutely perfect. The staff were attentive but also left you to your own privacy. The area is great, tucked away in a quiet street but close to everything we needed, halfway between the beach and the old town. Would highly recommend and will be staying here again when we come back

This is my second stay at Fig Tree Boutique Villa. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is perfect for its access to the beach, old town, many restaurants and other services. The free bicycles added a new level of experience to my stay this year; one day I rode to the beach and another day I adventured south of town across the river. In addition, the pool area is a great place to spend time, even if you aren’t swimming. The rooms and building are all well maintained; it is obvious they take pride in their service. I didn’t take the breakfast this year, but remember that it was very good two years ago.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fig Tree. We had a lovely, big and clean room which was cleaned/tidied everyday by staff members. Breakfast was fantastic and you can hire bicycles (for free) to cycle 15 mins to old town. Really friendly staff members who wanted to help in whatever way they can - we even got to enjoy the pool too! Would definitely stay again 😀

Rooms are spacious. The whole villa is pretty. It is also safe for they lock the gate every evening The staff really tried to make sure that ill have the best experience during my stay. When i had a complain on my room, they agreed to change my room right away to a cleaner one. They even help me move my stuff. They communicate and reachable most of the time (except on midnights). Food - their free bfast is good Location - they are far from the busy areas which i like. They have free bike to roam around.. If by walk, you'll reach old town in 30mins. Kind of far. There's a nail salon and wet market nearby. I visit on june and the weather is not cooperating. There have been power interruptions here and there, even at night, because of the weather. The interruption is bearable within the day but i cant take it at night. There's no flashlight in the room and generator on the villa. This isnt the hotel's problem though. Overall, if the weather is nice, id probably give them 5 stars.

What a little Gem of a place. Quiet spot just outside the central area, 10 minutes walk. Nice pool, clean rooms, free bicycle use. The family here are lovely and the staff, Lien was so nice. The breakfast was perfect. We had an amazing stay for 11 nights, were allowed to check in early and check out late, tickets for the Memories show were booked for us and we had an awesome evening. The Red Dragon restaurant was 5 minutes away, great food. The Riverside Hotel was exceptional food and lovely to sit on the river and watch the boats go by at night.

Not very good experience with this villa. Quite dark and the condition is quite poor tho. Using all old furniture and the room is super hot, the aircorn is super old as well. Also be careful , the snacks and everything in the room cost, but not stated. Not walking distance to town.
Jessica C — Google review
I rarely write a bad review because I worked in hospitality myself, but this place was very disappointing - and we had been in 14 other places in Vietnam prior to this one. The room was spacious, it's close to the centre and the lady who makes breakfast was friendly. That was all positive. But then, on arrival, in a pretty much deserted hotel, we gave our laundry and ordered breakfast. That was the last time we saw anyone at the reception for 24 HOURS. The next morning, we had no idea when breakfast would be served. This turned out to be at 8 am, which is late in Vietnam, considering the sun rises at 6 am. We also only discovered this because we sent our air bnb host a text, who replied at 08.30, and then received our breakfast which was the worst we got during our entire stay in Vietnam - we don't understand all those great reviews. Then, we took some of the bikes with flat tires and left. Still, no one at the reception. Some hours later, we were back. No one at the reception, again, and no idea when our laundry would be ready. An hour later, still a deserted hotel. We messaged our host to ask if it was normal that there was no one at the reception because we had some questions and she replied that she was "quickly doing some shopping and would return soon." Where was this shopping? In Ho Chi Min city? Then the night came and we discovered that the walls are paper thin AND our room was divided with another room by a wooden door. We overheard EVERY conversation in the room next to us. But the entire hotel was empty. Why put the only two guests you have in adjacent rooms? + Forget about the wifi. Doesn't work, but I rarely found this to be the case during my entire stay in Vietnam. Tip: get a sim card! There are tons of great places to stay in Vietnam. This is not one of them. If you don't want to receive any service, and sit in an abandonded hotel but STILL not get a good night's sleep? This is your spot. I hope this was just because it was low season, as I read the great reviews filled with superlatives. But even in the low season, guests deserve more service.

The perfect place to stay in Hoi An. Lovely atte time staff who are happy to organise tours ans scooter hire. Close enough to the centre of Hoi An to be convenient but just far away enough to be quiet at all time. About 5-10 mins via scooter to the Old Town. It was the best accommodation in Vietnam. Very nice friendly owner and his family who prepared a delicious fresh breakfast each morning. The family owns a cozy restaurant with excellent food, I can recommend their scallops. The pleasant beach with sun loungers was about 2 minutes' walk away. A very pleasant surprise was the delivery of drinks and meals from the restaurant to the beach. The location is really hard to find because on Google Maps it's located somewhere else. But the family immediately picked us up in the wrong place and brought us to the accommodation.

A trip costs between 100 and 150,000 dong, about €5-6 The hotel is very clean and the rooms are always cleaned. The beds are comfortable, the showers work well. I had a rain shower. The mini bar is well stocked, beer costs 35000D. In the kiosk in front of the hotel 10,000. The situation is similar with soft drinks. I find the environment very remarkable, it's like being in a large greenhouse, everything is in bloom, there are exotic birds, a great iron porch swing, seating in front of most of the rooms and on the balcony. The breakfast is excellent and the dinner is exquisite. The manager was a chef in a 4 star restaurant and he conjures up diverse Vietnamese menus. A little expensive in comparison, but it's worth it. Also perfect for vegetarians or vegans. You can also discuss with him what you want. A few little things at the end. The loudspeakers with socialist information start at 5:00 a.m., you don't need an alarm clock and the roosters from the neighboring property start crowing a little earlier. Since I'm an early riser on vacation, this kind of thing doesn't bother me, but I don't want to leave it unmentioned. The green villa is an ideal place to relax and you can get there quickly DaNang etc., Hanoi is about 600 km away. So ideal for excursions and beach holidays, or if you just want to go for a walk in the rice fields.
